XWL Breakdown : 4/18/2014- 4/25/2014

Normal Match
 



The fans are on their feet as Breakdown returns from a commercial break. "Turn Up The Trouble" is blasting over the PA system as the man himself, Mr. Kennedy, walks out from the back with a grin on his face. He slaps the hands of a few lucky fans then makes his way down the ramp, his sights set on the ring. He slaps the cold steel of the ring steps before shooting up them, entering the ring with a pep in his step. Once inside, he takes a quick lap, looking up above the ring a few times before coming to a halt. He smiles as the crowd cheers him on, his arm shooting up into the air as the lights dim and his spotlight shines bright. 



The lights now shut down completely as Kennedy's microphone soars through the air and lands right in the palm of his hand, the arena in a hushed state.

 

Mr. Kennedy
. . . Last week, right here in this very ring, I won my return match. I pinned Bobby Lashley, 1, 2, 3, and I had my arm raised by the referee in victory. That was a feeling that I can't describe to all of you. To be back in this ring, is to have my life back. And tonight, when I stare across at my opponent, I only hope that he realizes what I'm going to do to him. I'm going to beat him. But I don't just do all my talking on this mic, I do it in this ring. So when he comes out here in just a few moments,when he looks into my eyes, he'll see a fire that's been awoken in me. I'm back for three reasons, ladies and gentleman. I'm back to entertain all of you week in and week out. I'm back to prove that I am the best on this mic and in this ring. And I'm back to once again hold XWL gold in my hands . . . Speaking of gold, did any of you guys catch the Intercontinental championship match last week? . . . Neither did I.



Mr. Kennedy
You all are the reason that I am standing here today. You are the reason that I'm getting a second chance to do what I love to do. And this isn't me pandering, this is me being honest with you. Thank you for having my back, thank you for sticking with me through thick and thin . . . Thank you for getting rid of that joke, Zack Ryder . . . But most importantly, thank you for being my fans. My friends. My family. I dedicate my victory tonight to each and every one of you. Why am I telling all of you this here and now? Because I love you . . . Did I mention that Stephanie McMahon is looking for a replacement in the Dead Mans Hand Intercontinental championship match? No? Well, if you could all put in a good word for me, that'd be cool--

MMMMMMMMRRRRRRRR . . . KKKKKKEEEEENNNNNEEEEDDDDYYYY!

Kennedy lowers his microphone and makes his way over to the nearest corner, climbing to the top of it and raising both of his arms.

KEN-NE-DY!!!

He drops down from the turnbuckle and releases his hold on his mic, sending it whipping back to where it came from. He then positions himself in the middle of the ring, awaiting his opponent for the night.

Six minutes into the match

London is trying to regain his balance, using the steel steps to prop himself up. The referee is on a count of five, Kennedy checking his lip to see if it's bleeding. He pushes the ref out of the way and exits the ring, blasting Paul with a nasty right hook. He tosses his foe into the ring and soon after joins him, going for a quick pin. 1 . . . 2 . . . No! London kicks out and Kennedy looks angry. He talks with the referee to see what the count was then returns to his opponent, connecting his knee to London's face. Paul cries out in pain as Kennedy lifts him up onto his feet, smacking his chest with a stiff knife edge chop. The fans imitate The Nature Boy each time that Kennedy does it, until finally Paul manages to counter one, slapping Kennedy with a chop of his own. London brings Kennedy to a corner and blasts him with some quick kicks to the mid-section and the legs. He then tosses Kennedy to the mat and scales the ropes, leaping off and connecting with a huge dropkick to the face of Kennedy. There's a cover, 1 . . . 2 . . . No! Kennedy refuses to stay down, crawling back to the corner to try and force a break. The referee pushes London back, giving Kennedy a small window of opportunity. He takes it, kicking Paul in the gut and setting him up for a Mic Check. But London gets out of it, striking Kennedy in the head not once but twice and driving him back into the corner. But something happens and Kennedy manages to wrap his arm around Paul's neck and drive his face clean into the top turnbuckle, a Mic Check into the corner! Paul falls back, his eyes shutting as Kennedy quickly hooks both of his legs. 1 . . . 2 . . . 3! Kennedy shoots up, a surprised look taking over his face. He stands up and looks at the corner, then at Paul, then at the ref. He nods his head as his entrance music begins to play, the fans going crazy. The referee grabs Kennedy's arm and raises it up high, the Green Bay native with a smile on his face. Breakdown cuts to a video hyping up Dead Mans Hand as Kennedy exits the ring, holding his jaw and nodding his head.

Breakdown returns and the theme of Bad News Barrett blares through the arena



But Wade isn't coming down the ramp, instead his podium begins to rise up, when it reaches the top and his music dies down, the crowd begin to boo. But Wade just repeatedly slams down his gavel

The audience continue to boo the former World Champion

We are just hours removed from Final Stand 6, The night where all you people think The Barrett Barrage came to a crashing halt... But I'm afraid I've got some bad news!



[Bad New Barrett]
The Barrett Barrage is still going strong, just because that greasy tattoo'd disrespectful cretin CM Punk won Money in The Bank, you people actually think that It stops my quest to the World Championship? All it did was make sure that you people had to endure yet even more lacklustre World Championship matches. Asif Ted DiBiase vs Dean Ambrose wasn't bad enough, now you're adding CM Punk to the equation. You people should've been cheering me on, begging me to pull down that briefcase to save you from the now inevitable bordem you will suffer when CM Punk cashes in his Money in The Bank briefcase.



[Bad New Barrett]
I can't wait to see the look all your faces when you realise that you've been wrong all along, I would've been the one to save you from that bordem, I would've been the one to put an end to the disastrous title reign of Dean Ambrose. The sad part is..The World Championship isn't even the worst championship! The Intercontinental Championship has turned into a joke...Not only was it in the hands of that old dinosaur Shawn Michaels for months and now...There isn't even a champion! The prestige I once gave it has been ruined!



[Bad New Barrett]
I do actually feel sorry for you people, having to sit through championship matches including the likes of Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, you pay your hard earned money and you have to sit through yet another snooze fest World Championship Match. The good news for you people is that the Barrett Barrage is as strong as ever and I promise you now that I will once again be World Heavyweight Champion!



Barrett raises his hands and soaks in the negative reaction from the Audience. Barrett seems to enjoy the hate coming from the audience as he smirks and laughs as insults are shouted his way



The Bad News Barrett logo flashes on the screen, as breakdown fades to commercial.

It was a hell of a match, but in the end it was Johnny Gargano who managed to secure the victory. Kane gave it his all and in the nail biting final he fell to Johnny Gargano. Kane had rolled out of the ring when the bell was rang. Johnny Gargano celebrated and then left as Kane began to stir. The fans where giving him a mixed reaction as Kane then managed to, with all of his might, sit up. He moved his hand to the back of his head as he held it in pain as the crowd continued to give him a mixed reaction. Kane looked around himself, he looks gutted, his looked disappointed, but most of all he looked sick with himself for the outcome of the match.

Not like this…not like this…it was not supposed to end like this.

Kane then forced himself up onto his feet as he looked around. His hands fell down to his waist for a second as you could see it through his mask, he was disappointed. He didn’t want the match to go this way, he wanted to tin it, this was a new start for him in this company, yet he fell in his first match. The reaction from the crowd made it even worse, he didn’t want any of their pity. He didn’t want that reaction, he was a monster, he was the devils favourite demon and the crowd where not treating him like that.

STOP IT! STOP IT! ALL OF YOU STOP IT!

Kane was freaking out, the cheers, the boos, it was all getting to him. He didn’t want their pity, he didn’t want a round of applause, he wanted one thing and one thing only and that was the victory and he failed to do that. Kane quickly rolled into the ring as the referee came up to him, asking him what he was doing. Kane merely stared into his eyes as he then grabbed him suddenly. The referee was taken back as Kane held him in place and then to the shock of everyone Kane delivered the Chokeslam from Hell! He laid the referee out in the middle of the ring as he then stood over his lifeless body. His hands raised upwards into the air as he then brought them down, fire blasting out the turnbuckles as the old Kane was now back. Nobody was save from him, nobody would be spared, his wrath will consume one and all and it all begins now.

This place…it is going to burn…and nobody will escape the fires I shall bring.

Kane begins to laugh as he then leaves the ring. The crowd where now jeering him this time around as he walked up to the main stage. He stopped for a second and held his ground as he then raised his arm upwards into the air, just as his brother has done time and time again and then walked to the back as we then cut to commercial.

The cameras cut backstage where Josh Matthews is standing by, a smile on his face as always.

Ladies and Gentleman, please welcome my guest at this time, Kenny King!

The boos from the arena can be heard as King walks into the shot, a slight grin on his face. He looks into the camera, then at Josh before Matthews continues on.

Kenny, with Final Stand now behind us and Dead Mans Hand on the horizon, what are your plans for the event, if any? 



Kenny King
My plans for Dead Mans Hand . . . I think I'll have to go with "if any". It seems to me, Josh, that I've been . . . forgotten. It seems that lately, I'm not being taken very seriously. Take last week for example, I was thrown against some nobody local talent, whom I beat in no time, when I should have been in that main-event match for the Intercontinental championship! I want to know when everybody is going to open their eyes and see that I am the best that this company has to offer! Remember what I told you, Josh? Star quality, maturity, capability, the three things that make me a main-event player! The three things that have helped me overcome the likes of, Eric Young, Alex Shelley, Xavier Woods and Jerry Lawler! The three things that'll help me get out of the rut that I'm in right now! If people won't take notice, then I'll just have to make them. History doesn't remember the names of losers . . . It remembers the names of winners, like me. So when I step into the ring tonight, and I look across to see Rob Van Dam, he just better be ready for me . . . The REAL whole f'n show! 

Kenny peers into the camera then walks out of the shot, leaving Josh to smile awkwardly until the show cuts to the next segment.

Just as the live audience in attendance was getting into the show, enjoying the quick and hard hitting action, the passion filled words from XWL's resident Superstars and Divas, the theme of one man quickly turns their enjoyment into hatred, that man is none other than the Detroit Native, Chris Sabin.



The camera pans towards the stage, getting a good shot of the negative reactions emitting from the now hostile crowd. Sabin hasn't even walked out to the ring and the crowd is already booing him out of the building. An inaudible anti Sabin chant breaks out within multiple small sections scattered throughout the crowd.



Before they could manifest into something greater, they are drowned out by deafening boos as Sabin steps out from behind the curtain and makes his way onto the stage, looking out towards this less than friendly reaction he's receiving from the live audience in attendance, almost appalled by it. That expression is quickly replaced by something that doesn't fit the situation at fall, a huge smile as he throws his hands up into the air, letting the energy flow out of him.



If there were people watching this live from their couches at home with the sound muted, it could be mistaken for Sabin actually getting cheered, potentially leaving them in a confused state. Sabin begins his descent down the entrance ramp, raises a fist up into the air, towards the front row, causing the section to boo at the top of their lungs, leaving Sabin unfazed by their actions.



Sabin makes it to the bottom of the ramp and wastes no time taking a microphone that was promptly placed on the top step of the steel stair before scaling them and making his way onto the apron. He enters the ring, pacing back and forth for a few moments before coming to a halt and raising his microphone up to his mouth.

You know, I've been sitting backstage for the past five minutes prior to walking out here, I sat and wondered what I did to deserve receiving all your boos and all your jeers, all your harsh words and all your profane gestures. I wasn't doing anything different since my time standing alongside my best friend in Alex Shelley, I wasn't saying things I didn't mean, I didn't change my appearance, so what exactly did I do to draw your ire?

I've thought about that over and over, reminiscing about the past couple of months, trying to figure out where everything went wrong, and the only thing I did was beat Daniel Bryan in the center of this ring at Uprising. I've explained my side of the story time and time again, I didn't low blow that Goat, he jumped on my foot to make it look like I cheated to win because he knew I bested him in this very ring.

But of course, like the sheep that all of you are, you believe his convoluted story over mine, which was filled with nothing but facts, nothing but truth, even with visual aids, you took his side over mine. When I was still a part of the greatest team in not only this company, but the entire world, that being the Motor City Machine Guns, it didn't matter what we did, we always got your cheers and your support, but now that Chris Sabin is flying solo, you can't help but to boo him whenever you see his face pop up on that Titantron or on your television set.

People like Daniel Bryan said that I've changed into a different person since myself and Alex went our separate ways, and he's right, just not in the way that he thinks. I've gotten better, if that was even possible to begin with, I've gotten faster, I've smartened up, and it may not seem like it but I've even gotten much more handsome. I don't need to rely on cheap tactics to win, I don't need to rely on luck to come out on top, all I need to do is step into this ring and do what I do best: Wrestle.

Many people have come and gone since I returned over a year and a half ago, many people who have tried to use myself and Alex to propel their careers to the next level, and the fifteen minutes of fame of those people ended as quickly as they began. Chris Sabin has stood the test of time, I have been to the brink of my career coming to an end on more than one occasion and I'm still standing. So if you want to boo that heart, that passion, that drive, that determination, that refusal to say down, then you go right ahead because at the end of the day, Chris Sabin is a role model.

It seems that my definition of  a role model differs from yours. To you people, a “role model” tells you what you want to hear, not what you need to. A “role model” tells you to “eat your vitamins and say your prayers, brother,” you're told to believe in “Hustle, Loyalty, Respect,” and to “Never Give Up,” but what happens when your so called heroes are exposed for the false prophets they truly are? What happens to your “role models” then?

That's exactly what I plan on doing tonight, exposing the “leader” of the Cenation for the fraud he truly is. He feeds on your weak minds, he manipulates you to believe in him, and he's the one that gets cheered? Yet, when I tell you that you've been lied to by this “Yes!” Movement, by the Goat in sheep's clothing, you boo me out of the building. If that isn't flawed logic, I don't know what is.

You need someone to believe in, you need someone to look up to, you need someone who doesn't need to manipulate anybody to make himself feel superior to you, what you need, who you need is a hero, a hero from the Motor City, and look no further as there is a man in this building that fits both those prerequisites to a T. And that man, he is the only person who can carry both the burden and responsibility of being just that, and his name is... Chris Sabin: Motor City Hero.

I may not be faster than a speeding bullet but I sure as hell come close, I may not be able to fly, but then again, who could? I am a true role model you and your kids can look up to, I am the definition of “role model” and if you don't believe me, just look it up in a dictionary, my picture is right next to the word. Being a role model is a lot more than just acting the part, you have to live the part, and that's exactly what I've done since I laced up a pair of boots.

I am now the Hero of the people, and whether you like it or not, you need this, and I couldn't think of a better person to fill the role. After all, I am the greatest high-flyer in not only this company, but the entire planet. I said this last week and I'll say it again, no one in this sport, or any other, holds a candle to what I can do in this ring. No one.



There’s an explosion of cheers when Don West’s voices screams out through the speakers the name of the man who’s about to make his way out to the ring. Sabin lowers his mic and looks out onto the stage annoyed that someone would have the gall to interrupt the monologue of XWL’s true hero. He’s not the only one who has taken particular interest in the stage. Thousands of pairs of eyes are locked onto that section of the arena too, but in a stark contrast to the reaction of Sabin, these people are overjoyed to be just moments away from witnessing the impending return of Amazing Red. When the heavy instrumental of the theme kicks in, Don West and Amazing Red step onto the stage and the cheers match the boos Sabin was receiving earlier in intensity and passion. Red has a smile on his face and throws up his signature hand sign, to the delight of the people who mimic the gesture as best they can. Red’s smile devolves into a scowl when he shifts his attention from his adoring fans to Sabin in the middle of the ring.

This isn’t the first time these two men have crossed paths. It was Sabin who went out of his way to hinder Red’s efforts to get West’s job back but as Sabin can clearly see his efforts were in vain. Together Red and West stand side by side, weeks after being reunited, and it would appear that they have taken issue with the self-proclaimed hero from Detroit. With their issues with Brock Lesnar on the backburner for now, there’s no better opportunity for them to settle an old score, after all revenge isn’t world renowned as a dish best-served hot. Red’s music tapers off, but the audience has no issue picking up the slack in the noise department, as they start up a rousing chant of “Red! Red! Red!” that West encourages them to keep going for as long as possible. Eventually, the people appear to wear themselves down and when the chants and cheers subside, West raises a microphone up to his mouth so that he can begin to make the intentions of his client known.



-Don West-
Did you hear that, Chris? That is how the people act when they’re  in the presence of a real hero. That is the way the people chant your name when they respect you and everything you’ve done and everything you’ve sacrificed for them. That, Chris Sabin is the way the people react when you don’t come out here and act like a selfish prick! You come out here acting like you’re the victim, like you’re the man who’s been wronged but you’re not foolin’ anybody, pal. You must think these people are as stupid as you are, but they can see right through your crap and realize that you’re completely talkin’ out of your ass! I don’t even know how you can look at yourself in the mirror in the morning because just standing out here with nothing but this ramp and those ropes between us and looking at the way you’re carrying on makes me absolutely stick to my stomach!



-Don West-
You’re delusional, Chris! You don’t know right from left or east from west and I’ve spent enough time around the likes of AJ Lee to know when somebody is completely off their rockers! Daniel Bryan had  the right idea about not wasting his time with you because forget winning or losing a match at Final Stand, just being in the ring with the likes of you would be a career low so I can understand why he’d rather not be around than be around you. I guess we should have followed the example he set, but The West Side Army doesn’t run and hide from our problems, we take them head on and we take them straight down! And you, Chris, you’re a problem. You got in our way when you didn’t need to and to nobody’s surprise you made a complete fool outta yourself! You think I wasn’t watching at home when you low-blowed The Amazing Red and stole a victory over him in that gauntlet match? You think I wouldn’t remember how you tried to keep me out of this company for whatever sick and twisted reason you’ve concocted in what’s left of a brain you’ve got rattling off up there?



-Don West-
Well I was watching, I do remember and we are going to do something about it. Originally, you were going to be Sara Del Rey’s problem; The Queen of Wrestling was going to kick you around the ring so badly that you would have wished Daniel Bryan were still around to take it easy on you. But then you said something that caught Red’s attention and now you’re his problem. Forget about being too good to be true, what you said was too bad to be true. You said that you were the greatest high-flyer… in the world! When you said it last week I just chalked it up to a slip of the tongue, maybe you didn’t actually mean to say it. But I looked into your eyes when you made that same blasphemous statement again and I saw that you do mean it, Chris. You do believe and the issue here is that that simply isn’t true. Maybe once upon a time you could make a case for the best-high flyer in XWL, but that isn’t true now either. In fact you can’t make the case to be the best high anything when your career is at the lowest point it’s ever been!



-Don West-
Something has changed, Chris. You’re a pound heavier, a step slower and a touch more unbearable than you’ve ever been and everyone seems to notice that but you. You can see the effect of that change, the fact that these people just can’t stand the sight of you, but you don’t recognize the cause, the reason why, you just can’t wrap your head around the idea that you’re the root of all your problems. Here’s the thing, Chris: there was once a point when I liked you, hell you were there to help forge The Miz’ signature to get Amazing Red into the Elimination Chamber match. But somewhere along the line the Chris who had a heart, who displayed compassion, who we could all root for, withered up and died and now we’re left with you. I don’t exactly consider that a fair trade. Now you’re the guy who’s stopped eating pancakes because he’s already too full of himself and he’s stopped believing in the people because he’s too busy believing in his own hype. Luckily, no one on this planet believes you’re the greatest high-flyer in this industry.



-Don West-
You want to know who the best is, Chris? You want to know you puts you to shame? Well you’re looking at him! This man right here, he’s Amazing freakin’ Red and he has single-handedly taken what people call high-flying to new heights! When you think of a man who is synonymous with excitement, when you think of the a man who brings wow-factor, when you think of a man who for just the briefest of seconds makes you really think that human-beings have the capacity to fly… people don’t think of you, Chris, they think of Amazing Red! You’re the type of guy who relies on the same old, same old to get you by. You’re not creative, you’re not different and the bottom-line is that you’re not anything special. I don’t know how else to put it, pal. Amazing Red is the guy they call when people want to see a classic. You’re the guy they call when they don’t want to see a match at all!



-Don West-
The bottom line is this, Chris: there’s only one man in this world who is fit to call himself the greatest high-flyer in the world, and that’s not you. Heck, you’re not even one of the few who could give Amazing Red a run for his money! Amazing Red is a special breed of wrestlers. A man who has potential and the talent to back it up! There’s a reason why they call him Amazing and it’s because he does things inside of the ring that no one else has seen before and because of that a new imitator is born every second, but no one will ever be able to do what Red does, as effortlessly as he does it, as beautifully as he does it, and as flawlessly has he does it. While it’s fitting that they call you Chris… such a common name, but it makes sense because since the end of The Motor City Machine Guns you’ve become a glorified background player and now you’re nothing more than just another XWL superstar wasting the space and wasting time of people who will make better use of it. Guys like Amazing Red make every second count because guys like Amazing Red, guys like Ryback and guys like Dean Ambrose are the real deal, while you’re nothing more than a pretender skating by hoping no one notices that you’re in a company where you’re way out of your league.

He only has “Amazing” in front of his name because no one will want to cheer a damn color! And what kind of name is “Red” anyways? Did you find your inspiration for a name inside a Crayola box? Does it remind you of simpler times, like when you would be able to color outside the lines and no one would care? It sure seems that way because you may think that you have these people eating out of the palm of your hands whenever “Amazing” Red's theme hits, whenever you open your mouth and your spit gets all over the microphone, but the truth is, these people actually have you eating out of the palm of their hands.

They'll turn on you in a heartbeat the second you do something wrong in their eyes, just like coloring outside the lines. You'll get scolded for doing nothing wrong, you'll get singled out and booed until they get winded, which is why the boos don't last as long as they would like, but booed nonetheless. So enjoy it while it lasts, because it's only a matter of time before it happens. They'll go from cheering you and chanting Red's name one day, then the next, they're booing you to their hearts content. They'll go from hot to cold in a heartbeat, they went from cheering me to cheering you in an instant, don't think they won't boo you like they did to me.

I will give you some credit, West, you aren't a complete liar and you aren't completely blinded by these people doing an about face and cheering you and your band of misfits. What do you call them? The West Side Army? This is going to cut way deeper than it should, and I wouldn't have it any other way, but as much as you try to deny it, as much as you try to prove that it isn't true, you're nothing more than a Paul Heyman wannabe. He got someone like Brock Lesnar to align himself with him, and what did you do?

You got a second rate, no, a third rate version of Lesnar named “The” Ryback. Why does he even have “The” in the front? Is there more Ryback's I should know about? You don't see me calling myself “The” Chris Sabin, because there's only one of me, and that's the best news you've heard all night, isn't it? What are you going to do, train “The” Ryback to fight in an Octagon and try to win their World Championship? He couldn't even win the Intercontinental Championship from someone twice his age and half his size, what makes you think that he wouldn't get creamed in an Octagon?

Heyman then got someone like Christian in his corner and his list of clients grew, so you decided to get someone with as equal masculinity as him, enter Sara Del Rey. But what exactly has she done since aligning herself with you? I mean, sure, people remember her name... sometimes, she actually showcases what she could do in this ring. It isn't much but it's fairly decent... you know, for a diva.

From that acquisition, came Christian's “best friend,” Edge, so you had to step up your game as well and got someone who could match his cunning, his manipulative nature, his survival instinct, and somehow ended up with another useless person in your already useless “Army.” There's just one difference, this waste of space actually ended up as World Heavyweight Champion, and he still is, for now that is. Did it actually surprise you that someone in your band of misfits actually managed to win a championship while they were still brainwashed by you, let alone the World Heavyweight Championship?

Then Heyman got someone like The Rock, again another person with “The” in front of their name but at least there's more than one rock, I know that much, so you decided to scratch the bottom of the barrel to match the success he's had in recent memory and ended up with someone who's accomplished just as much as he did and that waste of space is standing on that very stage. You want to call your “star pupil” a better high-flyer than me, you go right ahead, it doesn't mean that he is. There's a difference when you say that and I do, the difference is that I actually back it up in this ring night in and night out.

Don't even get me started on that other guy that was in your “Army,” who was that again? Corey Graves? First he got ditched by his original faction in Men of Honor then got taken out when he was representing your “Army,” guess his track record in factions isn't as good as one would think, is it? Wasn't he always telling people to “Stay down” or some other nonsense? Looks like he decided to take his own advice.

I won't deny that Red has a few tricks up his sleeve, some “innovative” maneuvers involving the ropes, he's fast on his feet, but I could do whatever he could do, only better. I'm Chris Sabin, it's what I do. I am just that much quicker, I could maneuver in this ring just that much better, my kicks hit just that much harder, I am just the best all around wrestler in this company or any other, but when it comes to using the ropes to my advantage, no one, and I mean no one, can even come close to what I'm capable of.

You are right about one thing, however, I did try to keep you as far away as I possibly could from this company because you don't deserve to be here. I did what I had to do to make sure that you never took another step into this company, and if that meant humiliating the man trying to get your job back, then that was what I was willing to do. I did my part, I left him hurting in the center of that ring, I left the door open for an easy win, but the two people that followed, a former Heyman Guy known only as Curtis Axel couldn't seem to keep the ball rolling and got beaten almost as easily as I beat Red.

Then there was the all to important third match, the deciding factor. It was an unfair match to say the least, not unfair to AJ Lee, unfair to the man you call “Amazing,” a man that couldn't bring any more shame to that word. It's no secret that AJ had “Amazing” Red beaten in the strength department, there was no doubt that she could out wrestle him with one arm tied behind her back, and if it weren't for these people, she would have made your “star pupil” tap out in the center of the ring. If that is what you call “Amazing,” then why would you want to be “Amazing” when you could be Chris Sabin: Motor City Hero?

West chuckles softly and shakes his head.



-Don West-
What are you doing, Chris? Preparing for your back-up career as a teacher when the wrestling well runs dry? I didn’t ask you for a history lesson, pal, because I like to think that I’d know the story of The West Side Army like the back of my own hand! I asked you to admit that you are not the athlete, the competitor, or the man that you say you are, but I’m starting to think I was expecting a little too much from you. Let me tell you this, though: boy, do I feel sorry for whatever kids they plop you down in front of because I’m sure they can scrounge up a better insult than you just did! What was it you said, something about a Crayola box and coloring outside the lines? Are you kidding me?! Listen buddy, whatever you do on your free time backstage instead of being out here doing what you’re paid to do is your own business, but don’t you dare try to drag my client’s reputation down with you.



-Don West-
Why should Amazing Red worry about coloring books when he can come out here and use the mat as his canvas and stain it with his opponent’s red blood? Why worry about Crayola boxes when he can run circles around the other guy until they’re blue in the face and gassed up while Red’s still ready and rearing to go and has enough energy left in him to run a marathon! Better yet, why waste all that energy in the first place when he can instead just show up here on this stage and make someone like you green with envy because you know that you’ll never have what he has or do what he’s done?



-Don West-
And green with envy you are, buddy, with the way you can rattle off the names, activities, birthdates and addresses of everyone The West Side Army has ever come in contact with as if you were reading it from a book! Probably one that you wrote too… And I guess it’s easy for someone like you to point out the short-comings of other people when you don’t have much going for yourself, right? Where are the titles you’ve won, Chris, huh? Where is the long list of accomplishments and impressive feats you’ve put together so that I can take a look at it and actually take something you say at least a little seriously for once? Face it, you don’t have any of that and instead of trying to better yourself, you sit around watching what me and my crew are doing and taking note of every little thing we do, and believe me, I’m flattered you care so much, but the question is: Why do you, Chris?



-Don West-
In the hopes that you could impress us with your knowledge and become one of us? Look, I know how lonely it can get on the road, but trust me, we are not the answer to your many, many problems. Or maybe you thought that if you were able to somehow just find our weakness and take us down you’d be catapulted into stardom while we end up as miserable and unhappy as you are right now? The funny thing, is if you were paying attention to our beef with Paul Heyman as closely as it looks like you were, then you would have noticed that The West Side Army is built to last, baby, and taking us down is a lot easier said than done because unlike those that have come before us, we’re just as dangerous apart as we are together and that’s what has kept us alive so far. But I digress; I’m not out here to talk about Paul Heyman and his lackeys because that’s in the past. There’s a concept you don’t seem be familiar with: leaving things in the past.



-Don West-
Here you are giving these fine people a stroll down memory lane that they don’t need, here you are praying that if you say Alex Shelley’s name enough times he’ll come crawling back to you so you can relive your old tag team glory, here you are talking yourself up as the hero to these people that you used to be when in the here and now I have next to me the hero these people have abandoned you for. Right here, right now, Chris Sabin I am telling you that Amazing Red is better at every aspect of wrestling than you are and your response is to go off on some tangent and talk about everybody except him? Well, and pardon the pun, that’s a red flag right there. A big warning that lets me know that if you can’t even work up the courage to say his name or look him in the eye, then chances are you won’t have the guts to step into the ring so that you can show the world that you’re as good as you think you are.



-Don West-
Meanwhile, there’s no doubt that Amazing Red is every bit as good as I say he is and heck, sometimes I think I’m selling him short. Sometimes, even as his official promoter, I think that not even I have been able to full wrap my head around just how great this kid is. Don’t get me wrong, I’m out to sell you short either, Chris. I’m sure somewhere deep down inside you still have some redeemable qualities, it’s just that at this moment they’re hard to see because they’re buried under all that crap! You say no one can come close to what you’re capable of and I’d be hard-pressed not to agree with you; it really takes a special kind of person to fall as far and as hard from relevancy as you did and for that I’ll give credit where it’s due. Kudos to you, buddy.

West begins clapping, followed by Red, and soon nearly everybody in the arena is applauding in honor of all Chris Sabin has done.

Did you just call me a coward, West? Me? Really? Maybe you really are as blind as you are full of yourself. The only coward between the three of us out here is your “pal,” “Amazing” Red. I see him back there, cowering behind the “fearless” leader of the West Side Army. I see him avoiding talking on the microphone because he has nothing to say. I see him looking at me, wondering just how he could beat me in this ring if our paths ever crossed again. My vision may not be the best, but even from over here, I could see the fear in his eyes, and for good reason, he's looking at Chris Sabin: Motor City Hero.

It's quite funny that you, of all people, are calling me a coward, isn't it? I've been waiting in this ring for the past five or so minutes for the two of you to walk down that ramp, climb up those steps, walk through those ring ropes and enter this ring, but all you seem to want to do is talk, belittle me, and raise the stock of your “client” by comparing him to someone of my stature and hopefully make him seem better than I am, but the fact is, he's not.

Your little “insult” goes both ways, West, where are “Amazing” Red's accomplishments? Show me the list of championships that he's won since aligning himself with you? Show me what he's done since then? You can't, can you? Because the only thing the both of you have to show for time together is multiple firings and nothing more. You built an “Army,” good for you, you “bested” Paul Heyman, congratulations.

Aside from your “World Champion,” you and your “Army” have done nothing but fall short of making a name for yourself, while I, I am undefeated on the biggest Pay-Per-View of the year. So instead of delaying the inevitable any longer, instead of telling you the ways I'm going to out wrestle you, why don't you walk down that ramp and enter this ring so I could show you?



-Don West-
Now just hang on a second there, before we go and do all that, let’s backtrack a little because I’m not about to let what you just said slide. The world may look a little different to you from where you’re standing, but when I look into Amazing Red’s eyes I don’t see fear, I don’t see hesitation, or regret for coming out here and interrupting you. How could I? This is the man who went head to head with Brock Lesnar and never missed a beat. Yet someone like you is supposed to get him shaking in his boots? Get real, chump. What you’re seeing in his eyes is actually amusement at the thought of someone like you, who’s been in this company five times as long as he has, trying to save face by comparing achievements.



-Don West-
The story on paper tells a completely different story than reality, that much is for certain. What you’re failing to mention is that Amazing Red’s stock is on the rise and witheach passing week more and more people are buying into the idea of him being the next great XWL champion. Meanwhile, only someone with money to burn would bother investing in you. You realize that too. That’s the reason why you want me to stop talking because I’ve been embarrassing you by having the stones to say the kind of things Alex Shelley and Daniel Bryan are too nice to and you’re hoping that if we did make our way down to the ramp that you could at least score one or two points in your favor so you can get some kind of moral victory.



-Don West-
But as far as us coming down to the ring? Uh-uh, not happening bucko, because we all know what’s going to happen. You and Red get into a little scuffle, security comes down, maybe Stephanie makes an appearance to yell at me, and then you cry until the cows come home because you got a little boo-boo, or even worse, a hair was knocked out of place, and then you’ll go on to blame us when you go on to suffer defeat at the hands of John Cena. Besides, Red has bigger fish to fry with the likes of Randy Orton tonight, but hey, don’t get too down in the dumps there, Chris, maybe we can pencil you in for something later on down the road.

Spoken like a true coward. It seems you're only seeing things the way you want to see them, the way you believe they would go down, but how can you truly believe that when you look at me and you look at “Amazing” Red? Is that why you refuse to give these people, your “adoring” fans, a preview of what's to come in the future? Because you know that deep down inside, “Amazing” Red will only be able to get a few good shots in before he's put in his place.

I know what's going to happen, I really do. First, little Red is going to march down that ramp while you try to tell him that I'm not worth it. He's going to ignore you because he's out to prove a point and slide into this ring. Then “Amazing” Red is going to land a few shots before I turn that around and beat him within an inch of his life. Enter the rest of your pathetic West Side Army to try and save him from the beating he's receiving. Then I'm going to leave this ring because of the four on one situation that I would be in, but knowing you, West, you're going to use that as an excuse to say that I'm a coward, aren't you?



{Chris Sabin}
What does the coward himself have to say about this? You've been standing in silence long enough, so tell me something, “Amazing” Red, can you actually speak, or are you waiting for West to allow you to do so? Or will your excuse be that you don't want to waste time speaking to your superior in every sense of the word?

Amazing Red is handed the microphone and takes a step forward, ready to give Sabin a piece of his mind. The microphone is slowly raised up to his lips, his mouth slightly opened, but the words don't escape. Instead of speaking, he lowers the microphone down to his side and looks towards the ring, directly into Sabin's eyes. Sabin returns the favor by tossing his microphone aside, the time for words coming to an temporary end for the time being.



Sabin walks towards the nearest turnbuckle and climbs up to the second rope, returning the gaze as the live audience in attendance a trifecta of chants, one of which is “Red! Red! Red!” repeatedly, and the other two starting with, “Sabin!” which is quickly followed up with, “Sucks!” shortly after. They seem to fall on deaf ears, aside from Don West, who is heard encouraging said chants. In Amazing Red and Sabin's own personal world, it seems the only thing they see is the others intense stare. The last image shown is Red and Sabin standing across the ramp from one another, neither backing down as their eyes intensify before the screen fades to black.

Breakdown returns and we are shown a car pulling into the XWL parking lot. The camera zooms in so we can see two men climbing out of the car, one tall with long hair, and one short with a wacky haircut and an even wackier fashion sense. The shorter one sees the cameraman and walks up to him.

Everyone's a G until a real G walks into the room. Well buddy, two real G's just walked into the room. Enzo Amore, aka EA All day, how ya doin? Rhetorical question bro. Behind me is Colin Cassadey aka Big Cass. Future of this company, no question about it, no reason to doubt it. No matter where we go we're the realest guys in the room, like 225 at the end of a barbell, hair gelled, me, Big Cass, breaking a sweat, taking down numbers, you know what I'm talking about, right bro?



Big Cass
We're here for one reason and one reason only, to get an XWL contract. And we're going to do it together, because me and Enzo, we're as thick as thieves. Nothing can split us apart. Isn't that right Enzo… Enzo……. Enzo??

Big Cass looks around, realizing that Enzo has wandered off. He rolls his eyes and goes to catch up with his bro as we go to a long commercial break.





Breakdown returns and Big Cass is shown walking up to Enzo, who is stuffing his face in the catering area.

There you are big guy, I've been looking all over for you bro.

We have to compete in matches in order to earn our contracts, right here on Breakdown, tonight!

Enzo realizes that the cameraman is there, and turns to him.

You can stop looking for the future of this business, because it's standing in this very room. My name is Enzo Amore, aka EA All Day! And this is Colin Cassady aka Big Cass. Bada-Bing-Bada-Boom, realest guys in the room. Now if you're wondering why you haven't seen us before it's because we were busy running the Jersey Shore.

Enzo thinks long and hard for a moment before smiling.

Ohhh! I get it! EA All Day and Big Cass are like paper towels because we absorb information quickly. Antonio Cesaro is like paper towels... because HE'S S-A-W-F-T… SAWFT!!!!

Big Cass shakes his head and begins to walk off.

Yeah, it really wasn't that hard.

Enzo begins to follow Cass out of the camera's angle.

The bell rings as we return from the short break, signaling for a match to begin.

Ladies and gentleman this match is set for one fall!! Introducing first, hailing from Hackensack, New Jersey, weighing in at 200 pounds…. Enzo Amore!!!

The crowd lets out a cheer as Enzo walks out with a mic in hand, Big Cass right behind him.

Here he is!! Enzo Amore!! And his "bro" Big Cass! These two sure seem exciting, I wonder if they have it in them to earn XWL contracts!!

My name is Enzo Amore, AKA EA ALL DAY!! And I am a certified G, and a bonafide stud.

It doesn't matter who Stephanie McMahon throws at me. I know that the XWL is full of a bunch of fake tough guys, or what I like to call them… fugazi's… Everyone's a tough guy until a real tough guy walks into a room, everyone's a G until a real G walks into the room.

The crowd is starting to already chant some of Enzo's catch phrases with him.

Just then the titantron lights up, showing Stephanie McMahon.

Hello there Colin. And you must be Mr. Amore. Nice to meet you, I'm Stephanie McMahon. You're lucky your "bro" there is so persuasive, it wasn't easy to convince me to give you two a tryout match… Now I've been looking for two superstars to face the both of you, superstars who don't already have a match tonight. And well, I was only able to find one. So I hope that you don't mind competing in a handicap match tonight.

Big Cass
What? Two on one? Of course we don't mind!! Those contracts are as good as..



Stephanie's face is replaced by Enzo and Big Cass's opponent for tonight. The crowd cheers as The Ryback walks out to the stage, raising his left arm, then his right, then his left, and his right again before finally lifting both and dropping them as he shouts "Wake Up!!" The Ryback's stage pyro shoots off as The Big Guy begins to make his way down to the ramp.

This should be good! Colin and Enzo thought that this handicap match was going to be a walk in the park! But now they have to face the wrath of The Human Wrecking Ball!!

The Ryback hops onto the apron and enters the ring, looking his two competitors up and down as his theme comes to a close. Big Cass hands his mic off to one of the crew members as Enzo raises his.

Enzo Amore
You think you're so tough? You think you can beat EA ALL DAY and Big Cass??!? Well there's two of us, and one of you! And one plus one, meathead, equals 3.14!! Time to eat your pie!!

Enzo drops the mic and charges at The Ryback, jumping onto the Big Guy's back and unleashing a fury of strikes. Big Cass charges as well, driving The Ryback into the corner. The two strike with everything that they have but The Ryback is able to push Cash, sending him across the ring. He then walks into the middle of the ring  men off of him. Enzo charges once more only to be floored by a big boot!! The Ryback picks Big Cass up and hits him with a Over the Shoulder Boulder Holder!! He stands over Emore and begins to slam him into the mat as he shouts "Stupid!!" He then goes into the corner as the crowd chants "Feed me more!!" He waits for both of his opponents to get to their feet before charging and hitting a double Meathook!!

This one's going to be over before it began!!



The Ryback shouts "Finish It!!" before lifting both men onto his shoulders.



The Ryback drops his opponents and looks at the stage in confusion. Enzo quickly takes advantage, going for the roll up from behind!! 1…2…3!!!



Enzo and Cass hug one another, not able to believe that they just won themselves contracts. The Ryback gets to his feet, a little angry but at the same time realizing that he would do the same thing for a contract. All three men turn to the stage where Randy Orton now stands.



King
Why is Orton out here?

The Viper is shown slowly walking down the ramp, refusing to take his eyes off of The Ryback. The Big Guy looks behind him towards Enzo, then Cass. The two newcomers look at one another, than The Ryback, than Orton, than the crowd, before putting their fists up, making it clear that they have chosen to fight alongside The Ryback. The crowd cheers as the three stand to face Orton.



King
Orton better reconsider his plan of action!!

The Viper slowly walks up the steps and climbs into the ring, eyeing the three men standing across from him. Enzo shouts "SAWFT!" before charging right into an RKO!!! Big Cass shouts in fury as he sees his friend laid out on the mat and charges as well… Also into an RKO!!! The crowd boos as Orton begins to rise to his feet, laughing in the most sinister way imaginable as he looks up towards The Ryback.



King
The Viper isn't here to play around!! He's here on a mission!

The Ryback charges at Orton, just missing with a Meathook!! The Big Guy turns around right into a RK-NO! The Ryback is able to shove Orton off!! Orton charges at The Ryback only to be taken down by a lariat! The Ryback shouts "STUPID" as he slams Orton against the mat. He then goes into the corner as the crowd chants "FEED ME MORE". Orton slowly gets to his feet and The Big Guy charges… right into a scoop slam!!! Orton glides back to his feet, a wicked smile on his face as he shouts and flexes his shoulders. He twists his neck and cracks his jaw before grabbing The Ryback and throwing him over the middle rope before hitting a Rope Hung DDT!! The Viper than drops to the floor and slams the mat, slithering around like a snake before it strikes. Enzo Amore slowly gets to his feet, which takes The Viper off guard, but only for a moment.. RKO!!! The Viper leaps back to his feet and kicks Amore out of the ring before turning around and RKOing The Ryback!!!!

This isn't Randy Orton ladies and gentleman. You're watching The Viper in action tonight!!! And Ryan Reeves better find The Ryback deep down inside him, because only The Big Guy can withstand The Viper!!

The Viper is in a frenzy now! He spots Big Cass slowly getting to his hands and knees. Orton cocks his head and slithers into the corner.

No!! Don't do it!!

Orton Punts Big Cass!!!

Oh No!! Colin Cassadey just earned himself a contract alongside Enzo Amore! But now thanks to Orton, who knows how long it will be until Big Cass is ring fit again! What I want to know, is why? Why did Orton to this? What is Orton's agenda?

Randy Orton stands over his fallen prey, staring down at Ryback, no emotion on his face as he breathes in and out. Orton then slowly turns, heading over to the announcer's side of the ring, calling for a mic. A ring-hand brings it to him as he comes back to the middle of the ring, dropping down to one knee, pulling Ryback's head up off the mat, almost speaking directly to him.

I realize how confused you have to be right now, Ryan. I also realize how confused those other two bafoons must be at this point but what they don't get, is that they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. You, Ryan, were my true prey tonight. You, pathetic, pathetic piece of garbage, don't you realize that you are no longer what you once were? You use to be something, something worth being afraid of. You bullied your way to the top, and because of it got an Intercontinental Title Contender match, yet fell short, and now, you've become this. It's sad. But, now, it's time for you to pay for becoming so low that you actually enjoy these fans. John Cena, he showed me that he was worthy of his time in the lime light but you, Ryan, your time is soon to be up. Ryback's days, are officially up.

Orton then drops the mic, staring down at Ryback for a few moments before the camera cuts to commercial break.

Well even Amazing Red wouldn't want to stand in the same ring as the Brock Lesnar that we saw last week. He truly was a beast until Paul Heyman stopped him. That just goes to show exactly why Stephanie McMahon needs to let Paul Heyman back in Lesnar's corner!!



John lifts the mic to speak but is cut off by Sabin's theme.

Sabin said that he was going to show us all exactly what kind of hero John Cena really is. I wonder what that means!!



Sabin enters the ring and the two competitors circle one another before locking up!!….





























Sabin charges at Cena, both men exhausted from the grueling battle they have endured thus far. Cena is able to duck Sabin's clothesline and begins to run the ropes. He rebounds and charges at Sabin, flooring him with a shoulder block! He leaps to his feet and follows it up with another shoulder block!! He then follows that with a Spinning Side Slam!! The crowd is cheering now, knowing that the end is near for Sabin!! Cena throws his hand in the air and.. You can't see me.. Five Knuckle Shuffle!! Cena stalks Sabin as he slowly gets to his feet. He lifts him onto his shoulders and A-Nope! Sabin drops down behind Cena, who stumbles into the ropes. Sabing charges and dropkicks The Cenation leader outside of the ring!!



Sabin slams the mat in frustration before exiting the ring and pulling out a chair. He waits for Cena to get to his feet and turn around before… SMACK!!

DING DING DING!!! And Here Is You Winner Via Disqualification… John Cena!!!

The crowd boos as Sabin irish whips Cena into the stairs before throwing him into the ring. The ref tries to reason Sabin out of going any further but quickly retreats as the Motor City Hero raises the chair, threatening to hit him.

This doesn't look good..

Sabin lifts the chair and slams it on Cena's back! The crowd boos as Sabin smiles before exiting the ring. He walks up the ramp, shouting "Motor City Hero!!" as he goes. All of a sudden.



The crowd lets out a huge boo as Brock Lesnar's theme plays.

Oh no.. This is really, really, really, not good!!

Lesnar walks out, a look of pure hatred on his face. As he passes Sabin he looks at him for a moment before nodding and passing by, focusing his glare back on Cena.

JR
Sabin and Lesnar have planned this all along??

King
Do you really think that Lesnar is smart enough to plan this? It has Paul Heyman written all over it!!

Lesnar looks at the chair that Sabin dropped outside of the ring. He shakes his head, walking past it

King
It looks like Lesnar has chosen to use his fists instead of that chair. Honestly, I don't know which would be worse for John Cena!!

Lesnar hops onto the apron before entering the ring. He begins to take one of his gloves off, looking to hit Cena with his bare fist!!



Lesnar lifts Cena, barking something to the Cenation Leader that the camera can't pick up. He then strikes him as hard as he can with his bare fist!! Cena immediately drops to the canvas!!



Lesnar looks back down at Cena, but is distracted by a man in the front row, shouting at him from the crowd.



The camera shows John Cena’s father shouting at Lesnar.

King
Oh god no…

Lesnar exits the ring and shouts at Cena’s father.



King
Someone needs to stop Brock Lesnar!!

Paul Heyman is shown rushing down the ramp as fast as he can go, which is not that fast. He finally gets in between Lesnar and Cena’s father. He shouts “someone get him out of here” to the security team, who quickly escorts Cena’s father to safety. Lesnar shouts as he sees his prey escaping. He charges, but come to a halt as Heyman pleads for him to reconsider. After much convincing Heyman begins to lead Lesnar up the ramp. As The Beast exits through the curtain Heyman requests a mic from a nearby cameraman and begins to speak.

Paul Heyman
Don’t you all see? Stephanie McMahon, I hope you’re watching, because this is what you have caused. Until you do the right thing and let me represent Brock Lesnar once again, any blood spilt, and bones broken, any careers ended.. Is on your hands. Brock Lesnar is a beast, and without me by his side he us an unleashed beast, and that ladies and gentleman is dangerous. That side of Brock Lesnar belongs in the UFC, but the fact of the matter is the superstars here in the XWL… simply can’t take it. So if you want your employees to stay safe, if you want them to have a safe working environment, then I beg you to reconsider your decision. Let me represent Brock Lesnar.. Before someone gets really hurt. This is my last warning. Next time I won’t come out here and save Brock Lesnar’s next victim…

And with that Heyman drops the mic and we go to short commercial break.

[center]Demons come and they fall earlier tonight i watched my brother Kane fall as of i did. Tonight wasn't planed this way but sometimes it just happened's and sometimes we fall tonight The rock was the better man. Next week darkness will rise again and judgement  Day will begin.

We cut backstage where we see Enzo Amore talking to an XWL Medical Staff Member.

I'm sorry Enzo, it's the doctor's orders, I can't let anyone in this room. I understand that you want to go in and help your friend, but the best way to help him right now is to stay out here and wait until we are done treating him.

No way bro. The best thing that I can do for him right now is to kick the BEEEEEE-Hind of the man responsible for all of this!!

Enzo storms out of the room. We cut to another camera and see Enzo walking the backstage hallways.

Enzo Amore looks almost shocked for a moment as he is forced to slant his head backwards to look up at the man, or should I say, the monster that is standing before him. The very same man that promised to burn this company down to the ground along with everyone in it.

Kane doesn't look amused at all but Enzo keeps going

I don’t like you Enzo, I don’t like anything about you. I don’t like what you said to me and if I were you I would take this warning very seriously, stay out of my way, or you will burn with everyone else.

With that warning delivered, Kane pushes Enzo Amore backwards and then lets go of him. Kane has said what was needed to be said. He was not happy that he lost and he was not amused with the antics of Enzo Amore. The Big Red Monster cocks his head before turning and leaving. Enzo brushes himself off before shouting out to Kane.

Alright bro! See you at the club tonight!!

We then go to a commercial break.

Ladies and Gentlemen my name is Paul Heyman and I have the honour and the privilege to stand beside a man that I refer to as my best friend CM Punk. Now I know all of you out there are dribbling at the dream match up later on tonight when CM Punk takes on Alex Shelley, it should be a classic an while Mr. Shelley may think that the advantage is on his side because he managed to get a victory over CM Punk the last time the two met, well he couldn't be more wrong. They don't call CM Punk the Best in the World for no reason Mr. Shelley, he is called that because he bounces back from bad situations, those months ago when you managed to get a victory over him when most would've resorted to self pity, CM Punk used that to fuel the fire inside him and bounced back to become Mr. Money in the Bank!

What that means Ladies and Gentlemen is that CM Punk can cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase at any place and time for a match at the World Heavyweight Championship. It has been many years since Punk was afforded the opportunity to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship and at Final Stand he wasn't going to let that chance pass him by and he defeated three of the absolute best that this company has to offer. Shawn Michaels, the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion and longest reigning Champion that this company has ever seen. Beaten! Edge, the innovator of the TLC match, the match at Final Stand was in his favour. Defeated! Wade Barrett, the man who ended CM Punk's time as World Heavyweight Champion in a ladder match and wasn't man enough to grant him his rematch. Conquered! Three of the best, do not match up to the absolute best!

CM Punk's history has shown that every time his back is against the wall that he will overcome the odds and prevail. When people didn't see his potential, he brought their World crumbling down with one single Pipebomb, when the management continuously stick him in situations that no ordinary man would overcome, he beats the odds and proves to everyone what I have known since day one and something that Alex Shelley will find out about first hand tonight. That is he better than the rest of the so called “Superstars” in the back, the he is the standard to which everyone should strive to be and that he is the Best Wrestler in the World! Paul Heyman bows to Punk before handing him the microphone which brings a smirk to his face, he raises the microphone to his mouth but is quickly cut off by the sound of the crowd chanting his name, “CM Punk! CM Punk!” with every repeat the chant goes through the fans with more and more people joining in, the sound increasing in volume with every passing second until the building is shaking trying to contain the volume. Punk motions his hand to try and say his little piece and when the chants die down he raises the microphone to his mouth.

Ahhh Alex Shelley. Y'know for someone who won the last time we faced off he sounded very bitter didn't he? He took a little page out of my book and he tried to drop a little pipebomb my way but Alex, nothing you can do can leave a mark on me... I'm untouchable! Now I know my road as of late has been filled with its ups and downs, just when it looks like I'm back into full swing there is something there to knock me down a peg whether that be mentally or personally but the thing is I am still here, I have been here since day one and I will be here to make people like you look bad. I'll give credit where credit is due, you got the better of me last time out and that is no easy feat, when it comes to one on one matches I haven't lost many, in fact I think I can count them on one hand so for you to do what you did is impressive but make no mistakes about it, this time around I will not be taking you so lightly.

You see Alex, you can go to Japan to try and excel where you have failed here, you can throw your little jabs my way and you can act cocky and smart to try and hide your short comings but through it all, everything you said, every word down to the last detail shows exactly how you feel. “The way you keep hanging in there, when a lesser man would have long admitted he has nothing left to offer this company”. Nice little phrase, I bet you were thinking that would cut deep but that's where you are wrong Alex. Truth is I have a lot more to offer, the real question should be, do you? While you Alex, despite all the hype behind you, despite all of the wins, despite everything that you have going for you all you can manage to do is stay relevant for the United States Championship. At Final Stand I made sure that I have something more to offer this company, I am a former World Champion and thanks to once again becoming Mr. Money in the Bank I am a future World Heavyweight Champion! A lot has happened for me since we last met, I have once again climbed the ranks and thrown my name in with the World Heavyweight Champion and I bet Dean Ambrose is increasingly cautious to not find himself in the bad side of a bad situation because he knows the second that he slips up that I will be there but can you say the same Alex?

Last time we met you were simply the former United States Champion, we go full circle and we meet in that ring again tonight and you are still a former United States Champion. You have tried your hand in breathing some life into the tag team division and while your antics with Sabin were amusing, you failed, miserably I might add. Just when it seems you are ready to throw your name in and take a seat up at the big boy table you fold under the pressure and you go crawling back to your beloved United States Championship. You done something that not a lot of people can say they have done, you beat CM Punk straight up and while anyone else who had the chance to say that would ride that momentum to the top, that would take that and go on to claim bigger and better things you stayed right where you are, in your comfort zone and failed to make anything of that chance or of yourself.

Since I walked into this company I can say that I have done it all, I have won everything there is to win and I completed that bucket list two weeks ago when I walked into Final Stand and walked out Mr. Money in the Bank. United States Champion, Superstar of the Year, King of the Ring, Mr. Money in the Bank,  World Heavyweight Champion, I have won countless awards, I have won countless Championship, my feud with The Rock sparked this company back to life, my Pipebomb shook the foundations and brought the fun back into this company, I am the longest serving member of the roster and I am the longest active superstar on this roster because unlike everyone else I don't decide that I don't want to be here then change my mind a week later, I don't make stupid decisions. The name CM Punk will go down in legend in this company and when I walk away the bar will forever remain because there is nobody out there, nobody on this Earth can even come close to doing the things that I do every single night! The question is can you even come close to that?



[[CM Punk]]
When people see my name they expect the best! Every single night when I walk through that curtain whether it be to cut a promo, perform in a match or even sit behind that table on commentary I deliver the best! It doesn't matter who I am against, it doesn't matter what I am doing, night after night, week after week, month after month and year after year I walk out to this ring and I prove that I am the absolute Best in the World! You might have some hype going for you but at the end of the day, when it comes down to Alex Shelley all it is, is just that, hype. Nothing more and nothing less. While you may have it, it never amounts to anything, it never leads you anywhere, all it does it takes you back to square one and back to the midcard and you repeat this process over and over again. Now if that's the case then I would rather not have anything more to offer than have all this impressive hype behind me because you are quite frankly getting nowhere and your mundane little routine is becoming pathetic. But for a man who has nothing left offer, thanks to my ability to back up every little claim that I can make and thanks to this briefcase that I have in my possession you are looking at the future World Heavyweight Champion! While you Alex, are still just a former United States Champion.

CM Punk spins the microphone and drops it and mouths the words "Pipebomb" as it hits the canvas. Punk's theme begins to blast through the speakers and he and Heyman look very happy with themselves as XWL cuts into it's 10000000th commercial break

Following a commercial break, the DX music is well into it's chorus and both members are shown in the ring.



As the music dies down a deafening chant of "DX!" begins to rise up from the fans, so much so that Triple H takes a moment to soak up the reaction before speaking.



Both members of DX appear to be moving with difficulty after last week's brutal attack by the Wyatt Family, but the fans' adoration soothes them somewhat and they manage to each break into a grin before The Game returns to an expression of dead seriousness.



[Triple H]
Columbia, South Carolina... we've got two words for you.... We're sorry.  We're sorry because tonight is going to be different.  There's not going to be any of the usual fun and jokes.  There's not going to be any pyro or one-liners... we're not going to make you guys laugh or enjoy yourselves in the usual DX way.  Tonight we're here for one reason and one reason only.  To fight!

The crowd screams in excitement as both members of DX ready their battle gear, removing their t-shirts, hats etc. and standing ready to go in their ring gear.



[Triple H]
So Wyatt Family!... You want to attack us from behind?!... You want to leave us unconscious lying in pool of our own blood?!... You want to to mess with DX?!?  We're right here!

The crowd goes nuts in anticipation of the potential confrontation between the two groups.



[Triple H]
We don't give a damn if we both have concussions or if you have a numbers advantage, we're ready to end this right now!  Get out here!

DX are all fired up as they await the arrival of the sinister Wyatts.  The crowds once again begin chanting for DX, only this time much louder than before.  The Game screams "Come On!" off mic before finally the music they have been waiting to hear hits as the lights dim on the entrance ramp...



As the haunting theme plays for several moments, no figures appear at the top of the ramp where expected.  Instead, a figure appears on the titantron.  It's not that of the Wyatt Family leader, Bray Wyatt... it's instead one of his disciples Luke Harper.  Harper sneers into the camera at the two Degenerates, while holding a lantern close to his face, illuminating him with an eerie glow.  He begins to speak in a low, malicious tone...



[Luke Harper]
D-Generation X... you need to understand... what we did wasn't personal.  It's just what he wants.  He wants the two of you gone.  He wants the two rotting corpses in the abandoned house finally buried and gone and we... Brother Bray, Brother Rowan and I... we have the honour of being the gravediggers.



[Luke Harper]
When you look into the eye of the beholder, you must be prepared to face the consequences.  The same can be said if you mess with him and the empire he has built.  The Game will soon be over and your hearts will soon be broken DX... because we, The Wyatt Family are the reapers of your careers and your livelihood.  It's his one sole wish and his bidding will be done.  



[Luke Harper]
We are not of this world, we are of a superior world to your own which is filled with falseness: fantasies and love and happiness.  We are men of reality, men of our word and men who fight the fight worth fighting.  The reality is that the end of D-Generation X is upon the horizon and the rise of The Wyatt Family has just begun.



[Triple H]
Wait, wait, wait, wait... Shawn... did you understand a word this guy just said?  I mean, do you even listen to the bullcrap that comes out of your mouth?  You're batshit crazy that's what you are.  The only "reality" I'm concerned with right now, is that you and the rest of your bearded freaks are too afraid to come out here and face us like men!



[Triple H]
So why don't you leave that weird, creepy forest you're standing in right now, come back to the arena... find your friends... the ginger and the fat one... and get the hell out here!

Harper's expression remains unchanged and unfaltered as he begins to speak in the same low, menacing tone.



[Luke Harper]
Jokes... jokes... everybody loves jokes.  Jokes make people happy.  Jokes are used as comeback when you should have no comeback and they hide your own insecurities and self-doubt.  You don't really want me to bring my brothers out there do you Triple H?  I can see it in your eyes.  The fear... and I like it.  There's another time and another place for us to do battle and for the final chapter of this sorrowful story to be written.  For now, I want your fear to grow.  I want your fear to sink into the very depths of your souls and seize your pride with it's cold, loving embrace... because that will make it ever more sweet when we finally lay our wrath upon you and complete his bidding...



[Shawn Michaels]
So let me get this straight...You're fine when it comes to attack us 3 on 2 from behind but now we stand in this ring asking you for a fight...You don't have the guts to come to this ring and face us? 3 vs 2, 2 vs 2..Whatever, We don't care. Last week you made the same mistake Chris Jericho made, the same mistake many men have made in the past..and you messed with D-Generation X. Whenever you and the other two ugly bearded freaks decide you want a fight...We'll be waiting right here. Whoever it is you're working for...We will make, you and them...regret ever laying your hands on D-Generation X.


[Shawn Michaels]
Nobody has ever been able to stop D-Generation X, and God knows many have tried...and this will be no different. We've said many times the DX Army is stronger than ever before and the more people that try to take us out..the stronger we get. Everybody who steps up against D-Generation X learn one valuable lesson... Don't hunt what you can't kill.



[Luke Harper]
But the hunt has already started.  It's already well and truly on... and the outcome will be the demise of D-Generation X.  You claim to be immortal but it's all a lie.  But don't be upset, because we've arranged for a beautiful ending to your story and your place of perish has already been set.  It's not fear that we have, it's anticipation and excitement.  Because the lambs will go to slaughter and the corpses will finally be buried.  And the ever-burning light of D-Generation X... will at long last be extinguished and forever cast into darkness...

Harper begins laughing eerily as he lifts the lantern up for all to see.



Echoing his final words he blows out the flame which cuts the feed and in turn ends this segment of programming with the usual cryptic Wyatt ending.
