Game of 2013?

I remember making a thread like this last year, and this board can always use a little bit of discussion.

2013 was a pretty big year for games, even if you take away the releases of the Xbox One and PS4. Bioshock Infinite, no pun intended, shocked everybody, The Walking Dead returned and allowed us to play as Clementine, The Last of Us made every 360 owner wish they had a PS3 instead, while GTA V ended the last generation with a bang and ruined any chance these other games had to win any Game of the Year awards.

So, in short, what was your game of the year? I think I'll have to go with GTA V here. An incredible story, fun gameplay, and everything else you would expect from a GTA game. Sure, GTA online had it's flaws and not heists, but that doesn't take away from how amazing the actual game was. It also had Trevor Philips, no other game can say that.

GTA V was definitely the Game Of The Year for me too. Whoever has played it from beginning to end would have to be insane to think something else was better. The detail, the story, the online... everything about it is perfect to me.

Dead Rising 3 is also amazing on Xbox One so I give that a close 2nd even though I have yet to finish it.

GTA V is without a doubt the best game of 2013 and the last generation of consoles. I'd like to play online more since I was working a lot, now everyone seems kind of over it, one more level and I can make the El Genericar. Can't wait for Heists online.

Other than GTA, I'd say TLOU, can't say enough about how good it is. Tomb Raider and Ryse were both pleasant surprises too.

I'm always up for some GTA whenever you want to play.

Taking into account the whole product Id say GTA is dragged down a bit by online which is/was basically broken with people handing out infinite amounts of cash and no heists but on a single player vs single player scale I gotta go with GTA over BioShock, BioShock had an amazing story but the actual combat kinda got repetitive (although I personally didn't notice or mind it till my second playthrough on the hardest difficulty and got stuck on the ghost boss). GTA was just crazy fun and addictive and its the first game I tried in forever to 100% and if it weren't for X1 and getting pissed at GTAO I probably would've done it.
