Money in the Bank Ladder Match

A very special edition of Breakdown goes on the air, and tonight is promised to be a show to remember, because Hulk Hogan intends on showing John Laurinaitis and this unknown new owner, that he's the a General Manager they do not want to lose. Earlier on XWL.com we found out that Hulk Hogan has organized a Main-Event that was only described as "Unexpected" and a graphic appears on the screen reminding of this, before the opening video kicks off the big night. Once that finishes, ending on a clip of the General Manager Hulk Hogan...we head inside the building where the magnificent display of pyrotechnics blast at the top of the stage, with the cheers from the fans working as a nice background noise for the explosives.




[JR]
Welcome folks, to a night that is sure to be remembered for many nights to come, because Hulk Hogan is making it his mission to throw everything but the kitchen sink into tonight's show.

[King]
He might even throw that in, there's no telling what's going to go down tonight!

[Michael Cole]
With the new owner's representative hanging around, every decision Hulk Hogan makes tonight could either make or break him.

[JR]
Last week we learned that our very own Layla and Maria would take part in a match that not only gives them one hell of a warm up, it takes us back in time to a night when the divas took that first step and showed us what they were made of. It started with a Steel Cage match, a match we all still remember to this day, which lead to the first Hell in a Cell that had women competing in, and at The Monster Bash in two weeks, our lovely divas attempt to conquer The Elimination Chamber!


[King]
Another match we've learned about, which really shows the trend tonight is going to follow...Corey Graves versus Alberto Del Rio in a Submissions Count Anywhere Match! The number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship collides with the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship and let me tell you this, you won't wanna miss it folks. These two men know all about making your opponent tap out, and a win tonight will do wonders for either.



[Michael Cole]
But what I wanna know, is what's our Main-Event?! There's no telling what's up Hulk Hogan's sleeves, or lack of...it could be anything, a championship, a Hell in a Cell match even?! Who knows, he's looking to impress, and whatever's going to conclude tonight's show, I know it better deliver with the matches we already know about.


[JR]
Hulk Hogan is a very wise man, he knows what the Hulkamaniacs wanna see, and I'm almost certain that he'll deliver.


[King]
Well then what are we waiting for, let's get this show on the road!




[Michael Cole]
It's Hulk Hogan!


[King]
Is this it? Is he going to reveal this huge Main-Event of his?!


[JR]
Calm down, King! I'm just as excited as the next man, but let the guy get out here before you start talking about the Main-Event.


Hulk steps out from the back full of energy, he shows off his pythons, flexing the fans to a huge pop, then shouts out "It's time to lay down a bombshell brother!" as the camera zooms in on him, and he raises a microphone to his face.




[Hulk Hogan]
Let me ask you brothers, are you ready for a night you'll never forget?!


The fans let out  collective gleeful screams, giving him just the answer he was looking for, but he still acts like it's not enough.

[Hulk Hogan]
I can't hear you, I said are you ready jack!

Being challenged to get louder the fans give it their best attempt, screaming at an even higher pitch, and a smile flashes on the face of the General Manager.


[Hulk Hogan]
Now that's what I'm talking about! Tonight I've promised to give you guys and gals one heck of a treat, and that's a show like other, because I've pulled out all the stops, I've pushed the envelope, and I've laughed in the face of people telling me you can't do do that, brother! Because I'm going to do it, I'm going to give you the fans, my hulkamaniacs the night you deserve!





[Hulk Hogan]
I've made some incredible matches, utilizing the talent that these men and women back there have to offer, and I promise you this, you won't be disappointed! Now I've kept one thing under wraps, what will be the last thing you see tonight? What's a match that will blow everything else out of the water in comparison? Well I've been thinking brother, and I've come up with just that, a match that nobody will be expecting, and that match....is a Ladder Match!


[King]
Whoa! A ladder match?!


[Michael Cole]
That's pretty big!


[JR]
You said it, Cole.


The cheers finally die down after the announced match type that'll conclude the show, but Hulk doesn't seem finished.

[Hulk Hogan]
That's right, a ladder match is an unpredictable as it gets, but wait...there's more! With a night like tonight, that's not quite big enough, we need something up for grabs, something to hang high above the ring, something BIG, brother!



[Michael Cole]
Are we gonna see a title match?!

[JR]
With Hulk Hogan's agenda tonight, you never know!

This isn't going to be just ANY Ladder Match!

It's going to be a Money in the Bank Ladder Match, BROTHER!


[JR]
Did I just hear that correctly?! Bah gawd almighty, another one?!

[King]
A new Mr. Money in the Bank is going to be crowned?! That's crazy, that's....I LOVE IT!


[Michael Cole]
Now that's a match no one expected!



[Hulk Hogan]
Our very own World Heavyweight Champion showed what success that simple little briefcase can bring, and that momentum is going to carry over after tonight, with the new Mr. Money in the Bank! It's going to go like this, Chris Jericho became the World Champion, only to have it taken away from him, by this very thing....and that's why Chris Jericho lace up those tights, and prepare yourself, because I'm giving you an opportunity at winning the very thing that snatched that title away from you!


[King]
Chris Jericho's going to be in it?! Could you imagine if he won?!

[JR]
I could imagine Chris Jericho perhaps giving Christian a taste of his own medicine!

Next up, The United States Champion, the man that flies like other, while having a technical skill that rivals the best of them! The United States Champion, Alex Shelley?! Wow now that's the  chance he's been waiting for, and in a match that couldn't be more perfect for him!

[JR]
Alex Shelley might become the first XWL Superstar to carry around THREE titles! Those tag titles he and Sabin have defended, his United Stats Championship, and the World Heavyweight Championship! This night could really set him up for one heck of a year.



[Hulk Hogan]
Joining him will be another man that's no stranger to flying high, he's done some crazy things with weapons, he's shown incredible athleticism, and he's going to be one to watch out for because he's also The Intercontinental Champion! Defeating every challenger who tries to take that title from him, John Morrison has been chasing the World Heavyweight Championship since the very first Final Stand, and if he can win this match, those hopes and dreams could finally come true!


[King]
Now that's a guy I would not wanna face in a Ladder Match! He's liable to climb up it when you're trying to hit him with it!


[JR]
He's a master of the art of parkour and that could allow him to pull that case down at any instance! A very big threat in John Morrison, that's for sure.


[Hulk Hogan]
This last cat, he's seen some hard times brother...he's been treated poorly by this company, and I'm taking a stand, something I should have done a long time ago back when Vickie Guerrero was running things! That's why the last participant in this Money in the Bank Ladder match, is Ted DiBiase! Johnny said you had to get past Edge before he'd even consider you for any opportunity, but I never agreed to that, so here's your opportunity son, climb that ladder and leave this company no choice but to give you what you deserve!


[Michael Cole]
Are you kidding me?! Ted DiBiase?!

[King]
Hulk just went against John Laurinaitis' decision! This could be just what Ted needed!


[JR]
What a line-up Chris Jericho versus Alex Shelley versus John Morrison versus Ted DiBiase! Now that's one huge star packed Money in the Bank ladder match!


[Michael Cole]
Whoever manages to pull that case down could be the next World Heavyweight Champion!




[Hulk Hogan]
Let's find out if lightning strikes twice, can the next Mr. Money in the Bank follow up the success of the last one? There's only one way to find out, stayed tuned brother it's gonna be a wild night!



Hulk lowers his microphone, and the cheers continue as we get a quick view of the commentary team.

We fade away to the first commercial break of the evening, the fans still very excited at the announced Main-Event, which of the four will have their try at following in the foot steps of the previous Mr. Money in the Bank? We'll find out later in the blockbuster Main-Event!

As we return from commercial break, we are backstage in the XWL interview area where Tony Dawson has run into Roman Reigns.

Whoa... Whoa... Whoa. Before you even get started, I want to make one thing very clear. You don't EVER disrespect me. My name is not to be uttered by the likes of... YOU. From now on, you and your fellow commoners will address me as... Mr. Reigns.

Well uh... Roma... uh... Mr. Reigns, last week you went on on one with Chris Jericho. A lot of people are saying that if Chris Jericho didn't get himself disqualified, you would have lost the match. Your thoughts?

Who are these people, Tony? Are these the same people that sit behind a computer every day and night, blogging on the dirt sheet websites? Are these the same pathetic losers that still live with their parents, because they're afraid of living in the big bad real world? Are these the same people who claim they're smartened-up to the business, when they haven't even laced up a pare of wrestling boots? Those people aren't smart to this business and they sure as hell aren't smart to MY business. You see, last week against Chris Jericho... look at it any way you want to. At the end of the night, who was your winner? Who Tony?

You're damn right I won. I'm going to win tonight, next week, the week after, the week after that, and then on... FOREVER. I said it last week and I'm going to keep saying it until it's drilled into everyone's brain. What you see before you, is a pure athlete. A pure talent. A pure... everything. When it comes to me, I pretty much untouchable. I bet your "smart" little internet friends would say that I'm being arrogant right now, Tony. Tony for once, your friends aren't wrong. When your name is Roman Reigns, you have every right to be arrogant. It's because I am the Alpha-Male of XWL. Being the Alpha-Male comes with a lot of perks. Roman pulls back his sleeve revealing an expensive watch.

You can't be serious. If you lay on finger on it, you're gonna be 6-feet under after I'm done with you. Tony, this watch is worth more than the bank accounts of everyone sitting in that arena... COMBINED. Not to brag or anything... but I'm living it up right now. There isn't anyone who can take me down. Not my opponent tonight, not anyone. Speaking of my opponent, I don't even know who I'm facing. It's funny, because I don't really care who it is. I am going to beat them, just like I beat Chris Jericho last week... fair and square. Like I said last week... Who you see before you.. is a man, that with his hands does what ever he wants to.... because he can.

Back during my days with the Shield, we had a saying. A saying that went,... "Believe in the Shield". Seeing the Shield is dead, how about I put MY spin on that saying.

Suddenly, a phone can be heard ring. Tony Dawson checks his pockets, seeing if he accidentally left his phone off silent. Meanwhile, Roman pulls an iPhone out of his pocket.

Um... Mr. Reigns, we're kind of in the middle of an...

Without hesitation, Roman answers the phone.

Roman Reigns
Hello? Hey, I'm glad you called. No... no, I'm not busy.



Roman walks off the interview set.

Seriously....?

Tony is left standing there as we transition into our next segment.

It looks like the rumors were true.

Kharma was indeed released from her XWL contract, but the news must not have gotten to her before she arrived to the arena because the cameras have cut to a section of the building backstage where the monster that once struck fear into the hearts of her opponents is walking dejectedly back to the parking lot.

Now she’s caught up with the news that the rest of the world, thanks to the power of dirt sheets, knew hours ago: XWL once again has decided that they don’t have a place for her. Maybe they wanted to maintain a professional reputation and inform her of her release in person, or perhaps they weren’t able to get in contact with her beforehand, but either way Kharma is now aware that she showed up here tonight for the sole purpose of collecting a severance check instead of another victim.

It’s been years of irrelevance for her in XWL where time after time she has failed to achieve the level of success she garnered overseas in Japan. She peaked recently when she pushed The Glamazon Beth Phoenix to her limit for several months, only to be made to look like a fool at the hands of Paige masquerading as her manager Raisha Saeed. Then she struck such a chord of fear in the heart of Eve Torres that the diva refused to compete against her at Eye for an Eye. Her future looked promising, until a loss to Layla now stands to be the way her final days in the company shall be remembered for years to come.

Kharma has gone through this moment so many times before, where she takes the walk of shame not knowing if she’ll ever be back, that it extends far beyond deja vu into the realm of a reoccurring nightmare.

One where she’s a laughing stock instead of harbinger of pain and destruction.

On another day she might has raised hell, given the person who delivered the bad news an Implant Buster for their trouble? But what’s the point? What’s the use? She’s made it to the double doors and has a foot out ready to leave XWL never to be seen again, when suddenly a voice calling out to her from a distance halts her in her tracks.

Hey… Hey!

Kharma turns her head around, her foot still out the door, her expression cold and her demeanor threatening as she watches Don West of all people come chugging down the corridor as quickly as his legs can carry him. The official promoter and leader of The West Side Army has come without his partners in crime to confront a woman who could end his managing career in a split-second if he says the wrong thing.

Showing either a measure of bravery or stupidity or perhaps a lethal combination of the two, West has opted to approach Kharma on his own, though his reasons and motivations are unclear at the present moment. With Kharma glaring at him through the corner of her eye with half her body on the other side of the doorway, West quickly realizes that time is of the essence and doesn’t waste another second getting to his pitch.

Don West
Where do you think you’re going, huh? Is this how it all ends? Your career? Your legacy? Your life? Because everybody knows that wrestling is your life, it’s everything to you, it’s all you ever wanted and all you’ve ever been good at, but every single time you show up in XWL it’s like your passion, motivation, hunger and desire all disappear and all you end up doing is going through the motions like some kind of machine. You’re a monster, Kharma, a beast, a mastodon, the most dangerous entity wrestling has ever seen not a machine. So is this how you’re going to allow yourself to be remembered? Because it seems to me like you don’t even care anymore. From where I’m standing it looks like at some point along the way graciously collecting a pay check became more important than being the best. I don’t even know why I bothered coming out here…

If West came out here to motivate or inspire Kharma he did a pretty piss-poor job of it. As West falls silent, allowing tension to build in the place of words, Kharma turns to face away him and continues her motion of walking through the door.

Don West
You’re pathetic.

Again the voice of West halts Kharma in her tracks but this time she fully turns to face West with an expression on her face that would have halted the function of his bodily organs causing him to drop dead right then and there if looks had that kind of power. Kharma takes a step towards West allowing the door to slam shut behind her. She suddenly lunges forward and wraps a glived hand tightly around West’s throat. West gasps for air, using what’s left in his lungs to continue talking down to Kharma.

Don West
That’s right, I said it. You’re pathetic! A joke! An embarrassment!

Perhaps moved or impressed by West’s boldness, Kharma let’s go of his throat. West takes a couple of steps back but maintains a brave face in the face of what looks to be an impending attack from a woman he decided to go out of his way to verbally provoke.

Don West
You shouldn’t be angry at me, you should be angry at yourself for letting it come to this. The fact that you’re on your way out without a job for what must be the hundredth time this month alone is nobody’s fault but your own, Kharma. You may think that putting that look on your face may be intimidating, and you know what, my knees are shaking a little, but that’s because I’m not a wrestler I don’t get paid to fight. But let me tell you something, women like Layla and Kaitlyn, heck even the Bella Twins, women who’ve risen to the top of the division while you’ve grown comfortable being a player in the background, don’t feel the pang of fear that they do when your music hits and you step out onto the stage. Somewhere along the line you stopped being the predator, you stopped being a threat and you damn sure stopped being taken seriously.

West’s words, painful in the truth that they hold, are clearly getting to Kharma who takes another step towards West who in response takes a step back to ensure that there’s always some distance, a safe-zone if you will, between the two.

Don West
These other people might like to sugarcoat things and tell you that you’ve still got it, but girl whatever it is, you lost that bad boy a long, long time ago. And it was around that time when you last made a wave in this industry but that was back when you were Amazing and Awesome back when wrestlers feared that getting into the ring with you would spell the end of their careers and oftentimes that was exactly the case. I remember back in TNA when I was nothing more than a lowly commentator, watching week after week as you carried that Knockouts Division on your back, absolutely creaming anyone and I mean everyone who dared get in your way. I was in awe, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, there are few men in this business who could take you out, much less women and you proved that by being the most dominate superstar on that roster. You held each championship you won with an iron grip and they had to throw every feasible thing at you and sometimes not even the kitchen sink was enough to stop you, and to think you did all that by rarely speaking a word.

Noticing that Kharma’s expression has softened just a tad as she listens to what West has to say, the promoter actually takes a step in her direction, feeling confident that he has her right where he wants her.

Don West
You had Raisha Saeed at your side and together you two ran rampant throughout the company. You let your actions do the speaking for you, because what sends the message clearer than a mountain of broken bodies in your wake? Sometimes it’s better to show not tell and believe me when I say you did a phenomenal job of showing everyone that you were a force to be reckoned with. But here in XWL the only thing you’ve managed to show on a consistent basis is that when they changed your name a switch inside of you shut off and you changed too and I think we both know it wasn’t for the better. I think we both know that Kharma pales in comparison to the woman Kong was and if it were possible I’m sure Kong would dig herself a grave to roll around in. I know for me personally, watching the beast you were in TNA with my own two eyes transform into what you are has been painful and I can’t even imagine what it’s like to watch yourself go through such a fall from grace not knowing how to stop it or turn things around. But what if I told you I could get you out of rock bottom?

Intrigued, Kharma cocks her head to the side and while she has still yet to utter a single word, West has been able to read her body language perfectly and he can tell now that if he’s able to sell his plan right, this this will be a good day for him, though not necessarily for XWL.

Don West
Kharma, I’ve got the deal for you. I can be your Raisha Saeed and you’d never have to worry about someone trying to impersonate me because nobody can perfectly imitate the real thing. You’d never have to say a word, not to the fans or to other wrestlers, heck, you’d never have to deal with the likes of Hulk Hogan, because it’ll only take a second of interacting with him before you feel like ripping his head from his body. Trust me, I’ve felt that way on numerous occasions, and it’s taken some incredible self-restraint to actually not go through with it. That way the only thing you’ll ever have to worry about from this point forward is who the next unfortunate soul you’ll rip to shreds will be. Because that’s what you’re good at, Kharma, making everyone regret becoming wrestlers and with me by your side the sky is the limit. For so long the name Kharma has been a synonym for disgrace, but with me working night and day to open doors for you other divas won’t ever have access to, you’ll finally find the success that you deserve and the success you’ve found under different names.

Getting himself worked up with his pitch, West, wipes a bead of sweat from his brow as he continues his appeal to the giant.

Don West
I’ll be straight with you, Kharma, this amazing deal comes with a catch, but it’s not even really a catch now that I think about it, more like an added bonus. A revived career, renewed motivation, and success beyond your wildest dreams can all be yours, and all you have to do is commit yourself to The West Side Army. I remember The Kongtourage and how together you would wreak havoc in TNA, well now’s your chance to become part of The Dontourage. It’s a great group of guys, Corey Graves is this close to becoming the next Intercontinental Champion, Amazing Red was guaranteed to become the next World Champion until Hogan derailed his career and Ryback, well let’s just say that nobody who interacts with him is ever the same. There’s a hole that was left when Melina was brainwashed into believing that she could do better without, but you’re a lot stronger that she is, and you could easily fill that hole and put yourself on the path to becoming a champion in this company.

As Kharma stands there letting West’s words sink in, the man takes yet another step towards her.

Don West
Think about it, Kharma, what more do you have to lose? How much lower can you sink? I’m offering you a chance to turn things around and finally make a name for yourself in this company, but if you walk out of that door and throw all this away there’s nothing that I can do for you. I became one of your biggest supporters back when you were tearing things up in TNA so you can trust your career in my hands. I can light the fire under you and unleash the beast that’s been hibernating inside of you. The diva’s division is yours to reign over and I can help you get to that point, I can help you get your revenge on the women who walked over you before thinking you were easy pickings, I can help this company stop being a revolving door for you instead a permanent place that you can call home. You busted your ass for years to create a legacy for yourself that any woman would be envious of, but it’s a legacy that’s been getting tarnished in XWL and I know that’s been eating away at you. I can get you what you want, I can get you where you want so that your struggles here can be validated when you finally have something to show for your years in this company. All you have to do is accept the offer, Kharma, the ball is in your court now.

Kharma doesn’t respond immediately, actually as seconds become a full minute, she doesn’t respond at on. As her eyes remain locked on West, she finally shows her first inkling of emotion by chuckling. It’s a maniacal cackle that no doubt causes goose bumps to rise up on West’s flesh while the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. Suddenly, Kharma stops chuckling and her expression turns cold once more as silence fills the room.

Kharma eliminates what space there was left between her and West by walking over to him and looking down at him for what feels like forever to West who would be helpless and defenseless if Kharma were to decide to let loose months of aggression and frustration on him. However, West stands his ground until finally Kharma grunts, turns sharply and walks away. She steps through the doors which slam shut moments later leaving West alone in that small corridor.

He pleaded his case the best that could, doing all that he could to show Kharma that he was serious, committed and dedicated to that cause of turning her career in XWL around. As a member of The West Side Army, West would have undoubtedly brought Kharma to the forefront of the diva’s division a stark contrast from her usual place as an afterthought, simply because week after week he would have never shut up about her.

Alas, it didn’t look like Kharma had any interest in making something of herself in XWL. Perhaps this new status quo of being an XWL superstar one day and a free agent the next as some sort of appeal to it that makes her reluctant to let go of the lifestyle. Oddly enough, as the camera cuts from the now closed door Kharma just walked through over to Don West, he doesn’t look disappointed at all... in fact he has a smile on his face which is the last thing we see before the screen fades to black and XWL heads to a commercial break.

Jim Ross:
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Sunday Night Breakdown! Hulk Hogan surprised us all right at the start of the show, King! He announced the main event as a 4 man Money in the Bank ladder match! What do you think of that, King?

Jerry Lawler:
I'm loving it, JR! Tonight was looking to be a great night, and when Hulk Hogan came in, he made a great night into a fantastic night! What could possibly make this night even better?

Michael Cole:
Who knows, King? You can never predict what will happen at Sunday Night Breakdown!

Michael Cole:
Well, well, well! Looks like my last statement was correct!

Jim Ross:
Look at this! The All American-American has returned to XWL, and the fans are on their feet!

Jerry Lawler:
Oh man, this is great! Jack Swagger returning? What a night it's been so far!

Jack Swagger:
Denizens of Chicago, I welcome you all back to Jack Swagger's America. In case some of you have forgotten or have never seen me before, my name is Jack Swagger. I have come here to bring patriotism back to the XWL. You see, I have noticed that certain.....figures are running a sort of monopoly in this industry. They come to these events each week, they boss around other people around here because they believe that they have the power to do so. The "authority". And why do they do that? Because they think that it's ok to take short cuts in life, that it's ok to damage other people's careers, that it's all fine and dandy when they "get" championships, or "get" respect. Ladies and gentlemen, that is not how the foundation of America works. Our founding fathers EARNED the right to make this country into what is it today. I see people who walk around backstage every week who DESERVE more recognition, but struggle because they are shoved into a corner and practically bullied by other superstars who have only earned one thing in my eyes, and the people's eyes: Hatred. But they don't care about that, in fact they see it as something that's beneficial to them and only them, they don't think for the good of the country, and they don't care about the citizens that pay their hard-earned money to attend these events every single week! I'm here to change that. 

Jim Ross:
I think Swagger's got a point here, King.

Jerry Lawler:
JR, we could be looking at a modern American hero!

Jack Swagger:
Ladies and gentlemen, I am "The Defender of the People". No longer will the locker room be susceptible to villainous treachery. No longer will you have to put up with the injustice that has been dealt over past months. As Americans, we need better, and we DESERVE better. WE THE PEOPLE should fight back and take back what's ours! It will be a slow process, and it will not be easy, but with the help of the loyal American citizens watching tonight, and my willingness to change this place, we can make it happen. I guarantee you, things will change. I will strike down any one who opposes our movements, because they don't believe in making America a better place. And to those who say that this place will never change, to those who say that we the people cannot make it happen, I say this: Yes. We. Can.

Jim Ross:
Can you believe this, King? The entire Chicago crowd is sounding off! This is unbelievable!

Jerry Lawler:
I can't believe it either! This is nuts!

Michael Cole:
I think his goals might be a little lofty here, gentlemen.

Jack Swagger:
I see you're very anxious to see some change. As part of my plan, there is one object that I need to capture if I want to rally more people to support our movement, the first step: The XWL United States title, currently held by a Mr. Alex Shelley, one half of the Motor City Machine Guns. Now before you jump to conclusions, this is not an attack on Alex by any means. As a matter of fact, while he might be reckless and rambunctious, he is still an honorable man, and that is the reason I hold respect for him, as you all should as well. Just a warning, though, Alex: I will be coming to recapture that United States Championship, as I have done in the past twice before. I may fall down going down that path, because I know that you are a tough competitor, but I will stand up every time and keep going, because I have the energy and the determination to succeed in getting to that first step. My hope is that you and I will face off one night in a fair and square contest, to determine who the real champion of the United States of America is.

Jack Swagger:
Unfortunately, I am not slated to compete in a match tonight. However, I expect that my message to you was loud and clear: Jack Swagger's America is going to be rebuilt from the ground up, from scratch. And above all, remember: This revolution will succeed, and soon enough, Jack Swagger's America will grow into a land that is free from the perils of injustice..........

Jerry Lawler:
What a message sent by Swagger! Do you think this "movement"'s going to take off?

Jim Ross:
Well, from what I can see, he'll have absolutely no problem racking up supporters! I can tell you that even I'm starting to get impressed with what this young man is doing for the greater good of the country.

Michael Cole:
I think we'll just have to wait and see if anything comes out of this.


Swagger drops the mic, closes his eyes, puts his hand on his heart, and leaves the ring. He stands at the ramp for a minute, looking impressed at the positive reception from the XWL Universe. He shouts "Yes! We! Can!" before walking into the backstage area. The show fades to black, ending the segment.

Alex Shelley roams the hallways backstage with nothing more than the company of his beloved Ersatz and United States Championships. He arrives at a door, opens it up then barges right in without regard for the privacy of whoever is on the other side. The occupant just so happens to be Shelley’s opponent at The Monster’s Bash, Kenny King! In the middle of a pleasant conversation, judging from the smile on his face, King doesn’t notice Shelley initially, but after a loud clearing of the throat catches his attention, the smile from King’s face disappears once he realizes that he’s not alone in the room.

Easy there, pal, I didn’t come here to cause any trouble. I was just in the neighborhood and thought I’d stop by to check if you were doing all right, you know, mentally and all that. You see, I caught your promo last week, some captivating and entertaining stuff, really, keep doing what you’re doing. But I was listening to what you were saying and you sounded pretty confident that you were winning that match, almost like you were guaranteeing that you’d walk out of The Monster’s Bash as the new United States Champion. You were talking as if you actually felt deep down inside that you were better than me, and I knew that just couldn’t be the case.



-Shelley-
So then I thought a little harder about it, played some games, watched some TV then thought a little more, and I figured that what happened was that I hit you so hard with the chair at Eye for an Eye that you just went and forgot everything that happened before that. So I went out and did you a solid. I figured with what you were making the budget wouldn’t allow such an extravagant purchase, so out of the kindness of my heart I bought you The Eye For an Eye DVD, now available on XWL.com and a retailer near you, so that you can take some time to re-watch the United States Championship match and be reminded of how badly you were out of your league.

While I do appreciate the offer, Alex, I'm going to have to decline. You see, I already have a copy, it's the same copy that I showed to both Vickie and Hulk Hogan during my. . . Let's call it, presentation to get a rematch. And they saw that you had bent the rules in your favor to get the victory, so, they granted me one. And that's what every single person who bought this DVD will see. The great Alex Shelley! Taking the cheap way out, as usual! So you can keep that, my friend, heck, if you want me to I'll sign both half's! After I win the United States Championship at The Monster Bash you'll surely get a good price for it, even in its current condition.

Oh, someone's a little defensive, what'd you think I was going to hit you!? Please, unlike you, Alex, I'm a man. I don't attack people from behind or break the rules just to win a match. I was just trying to council you as I see that you're simply heart broken. But hey, if you don't want to be friends, then that's fine by me. But when I do in fact beat you and become the new United States Champion, I expect some respect to be shown by you. I expect you to finally look me in the eyes and flat out say, "Kenny, you're better than me, and you deserve that United States Title."

Kenny shrugs to show that he's done talking. Shelley looks down at the case once more before looking up at his Monster Bash opponent.



-Shelley-
Hey, don’t take it the wrong way; I just wasn’t sure where your hands had been. I mean, who knows what you were doing before I walked in or who you were talking to? But it’s ok, dude, who you call when you’re feeling lonely is none of my concern. But let’s make one thing clear: I wasn’t worried that you’d hit me, because let’s face it, the last thing you’d ever want to do is to start a fight you can’t finish... wait a second… that’s exactly what you did! You couldn’t accept that you were outclassed at Eye for an Eye, you keep bringing up me hitting you with the chair, holding on tight to that moment because that’s all you have right now to keep fueling the denial that allows you to live in your fantasy world.

Shelley chuckles softly.

-Shelley-
The only thing that’s going to change at The Monster’s Bash is the match type and making the use of chairs legal isn’t going to change who the fans cheer for, it won’t change who the better wrestler is and, here’s the part you may not want to hear: it won’t change who walks out as champion either. Maybe when the show is over and done with, you can pick up a copy of that DVD and give another presentation to Hogan and Vickie where you use that match to point out all the reasons why you’re a waste of their time.

Shelley looks at the broken DVD case in his hands and shakes his head sadly.

-Shelley-
You want to talk about respect and being friends? How about you appreciate the fact if I didn't take pity on you and offer you a shot at this title in the first place, you would have anything to complain to Vickie and Hogan about. What did I get for my selfless act? No thank you card, no breakfast in bed, hell a copy of Grand Theft Auto would have been grand, but I guess that was just too much to hope for. But that’s neither here nor there, I’m not one to hold a grudge, and believe me when I tell you that what happened before, what’s happening now and what’ll happen down the road is strictly business, nothing personal. You’re just another challenger right now, but maybe once this is all said and done with, we can hang out sometime.

What aren't you getting here, Alex? This may not be personal for you, but it is damn personal for me. You took away my opportunity to become a champion once again. I worked hard for that chance, and you ripped it away from me. Maybe if you would have won it fairly, like a man, I wouldn't be so upset. But you didn't, you can try to cover it up anyway you want. You can say that I'm just trying to make excuses, but you know that it's you making the excuses. You cheated, Alex. I was this close to winning that title, this close!

I am the true United States Champion, and come The Monster Bash, that will be revealed as truth. You're pathetic, you're weak and you're run as champion is coming to an end. So keep talking up your game, keep cracking your jokes, and keep holding on tight to that championship. I'm not here to make friends and I'm most certainly not here to entertain those so called fans. I'm here to win championships and to earn paychecks. So, ugh, good luck in your match tonight, and good luck at The Monster Bash. You're most certainly going to need it.

Kenny backs away from Shelley slowly, taking one final look at him before scoffing. He then walks out of the room, leaving Alex behind to go over what was said. Shelley takes the United States title off his shoulder and holds it into the air with his free hand.

Don’t worry, you’re not going anywhere. How about we go find Chris, huh? But first things first…

Shelley hands the broken DVD to the camera man and nods in his direction before turning and leaving the room.

The referee kicks and rolls around in agonizing pain, while holding his midsection. As the XWL doctor slides into the ring to check on the fall and possibly injured referee, Roman Reigns rolls out and starts up the ramp. As he reaches the top of the ramp, he looks back toward the ring to see the injured referee.



We transition to our next segment.

Breakdown returns and cuts to ringside just as a familiar theme hits.....



The theme of the "Show-Off" Dolph Ziggler hits across the arena, to a surprisingly mixed reaction.

It's been a roller-coaster couple of months for Dolph Ziggler

[Jerry Lawler]
He's gone from World Champion to the bottom of the pile over the past month, Surely he can't be happy about that?

[Jim Ross]
He spent many years working his way to the top for it to end in moments.




Ziggler walks out from behind the curtain, stopping at top of the ramp to do his usual taunt before walking down the ramp. Ziggler appears to be more fired up than he has in recent weeks. Dolph enters the ring in his usual fashion, before asking for a microphone


[Dolph Ziggler]
There's a lot of questions being asked. What happened to Dolph Ziggler? What happened to the Dolph Ziggler that was the World Heavyweight Champion? Let me tell you what happened, let me tell you the story of how XWL management finally got what they wanted. It's no secret that I'm not the company guy, I'm not a guy they want as the face of the company. No, They'd rather have the likes of Ted DiBiase...Please.. What does Ted DiBiase have that I don't? I have everything it takes to be a star in this business, I have the look, I have the charisma and I have the talent. Each and every night for the past 9 years, 9 damn years I've proved that I am a step above each and every superstar in that locker room. I've come out here every night and stolen the show, no matter what match I was in, no matter where I was on the card when it was all done when the smoke had cleared it was me who was the star of the show. I did it back then and I still do it now, there isn't a single wrestler on this roster that's more consistent than me, I do what I do best every damn night and that's steal the show.


[Dolph Ziggler]
Even on my worst night I'm still better than most of the guys in that locker room, yet I stand here tonight with no title around my waist. I stand here without my rematch at the World Championship, and that's only because the XWL management are too damn afraid of just how good I am. They know that I come out here and I outshine their favourites like Alex Shelley...and they wouldn't want that happening would they? So they throw back to the bottom of the pile, they take away everything I have earned, and when I say I earned it you better be sure I mean it. Earning title is something that is rare these days it seems but everything I have ever had I put my body on the line and earned it. I can tell what you're all thinking, You're damn right I'm pissed and yeah I'm bitter but when you're as good as I am then you deserve to be performing in the main event every week, you deserver to be in all the press conferences,you deserve to go to all the media interviews.


[Dolph Ziggler]
But because I don't fit the XWL mould of a "superstar" all of that get's handed to whoever kisses the most ass, and let' face it that could be a lot of the guys back there. But all of this... Just like every other bit of negativity that is thrown my way i turn that into my motivation to continue to be the best, to continue to outshine every damn member of that roster each and every night. I could stand here and talk about myself all night...Which by the way would be more entertaining than anything else you'll see tonight, but as much as I'd love to do that... I have some other business to take care off. Because unlike everybody back there I back up every damn thing I say, and when I say I'm the best you know it's the truth. I don't even need to tell you that because I am that damn good it shows each and every time I step foot in this ring.



[Dolph Ziggler]
Every time I come to this ring I do what I do best and I prove the doubters wrong. I prove management wrong when they don't chose me as the face of the company, I once came out week after week on World Wide Television dressed as a male cheerleader and even that couldn't stop me being the best damn wrestler on the roster. Nothing can stop me doing what I do, you throw me under a bus and I roll straight out the other side because I am untouchable. People call me the Show Off but It's not showing off when you back it up. Unlike the likes of Chris Jericho I back up every single word I say and tonight Is no different, I told you that I steal the show every time I come out here and well...


[Dolph Ziggler]
You can now consider the show stolen.....

[Jim Ross]
It doesn't seem like that the past couple of month have affected Dolph's confidence in the slightest.

[Michael Cole]
But when you're as good as Dolph, why would it?

Ziggler drops the mic and stands in the center of the ring, taking in the mixture of reactions from the live audience in attendance. He runs both of his hands through his hair before flicking his hands forward, towards the crowd. Dolph walks over to the ring ropes, placing one leg over the middle rope and onto the apron, looking back towards the crowd for a few moments. He smirks and shakes his head before attempting to exit the ring. Just as he's about to make his way out to the apron...







The theme of Dean Ambrose stops him in his tracks and forces him to make his way back into the ring, awaiting the arrival of one of his former rivals. Ziggler looks out towards the crowd, scanning it in an attempt to locate Ambrose, but seemingly to no avail. After the dissection of XWL's resident “Apex Predator” in Randy Orton at the hands of Dean Ambrose, Ziggler prepares himself for the impending assault as he's shown pacing around the ring and looking into the crowd. The theme dies down as Ziggler is shown walking back and forth in the center of the ring, not taking his eye off the ball as the history between himself and the man who has seemingly made him a target once more dates back to almost one year ago. Ziggler stops pacing in the ring and picks the mic up from the canvas, raising it up to his mouth.



Before he could utter a single word, Ambrose slides into the ring, seemingly out of nowhere, and makes a beeline towards Ziggler, catching him off guard and leveling him with a hard right. Ambrose mounts a fallen Dolph Ziggler and begins unloading lefts and rights. After a few moments, Ziggler is able to put himself in a dominant position, returning the favor with a series of rights and lefts of his own. Ambrose turns the tide back into his favor by rolling back over and lands forearm shot after forearm shot before Dolph is able to block one and lands a shot of his own, sending Ambrose flying off of him with a shove. Ziggler quickly makes it back to his feet, just a moment before Ambrose does, and goes for a superkick, but it wildly misses. With Ambrose ducking the superkick, he runs towards the ropes before ricocheting off of them and landing a stiff lariat on Ziggler the second he turns around, causing him to flip in the air and lands on the canvas with a thud.



Ambrose looks down at a seemingly out cold Dolph Ziggler with a stoic expression etched on his face. After a moment, he exits the ring and walks over to the timekeepers area, shoving him off his seat and taking the chair with him. He raises it up into the air before slamming it shut, causing the sound to echo throughout the arena. Ambrose slides the chair into the ring and rolls into the ring right after it. He kicks the chair towards the center of the ring and drags Ziggler to his feet, tightly wrapping his right arm around his neck. Ziggler tries to fight out of it with a series of punches and elbow shots to Ambrose's abdomen but to no avail. Ambrose shifts his weight forward, taking Ziggler with him to the canvas, planting Ziggler's head into the steel chair with as much force as he possibly could, landing a Headlock Driver on the steel.



Ziggler lies motionless on the canvas as Ambrose reaches down to grab Ziggler's mic. Boos rain down into the ring from the crowd, not condoning Ambrose's actions moments ago. Ambrose doesn't seem to care as his attention is focused on an out cold Dolph Ziggler laying at his feet. He raises the mic up to his mouth to speak for the first time in a few weeks.



{Dean Ambrose}
And just when you thought I was done making your life a living hell, Ziggler, the fun is just beginning. You thought you got rid of me when you pinned me to become the World Champion, but that couldn't be further from the truth. If anything, I've been distracted for a few months with a couple different people who thought they had what it took to put me down for good. People like Daniel Bryan, Rob Van Dam and Randy Orton all fell at my feet, while you, you did what you set out to do: Become the World Heavyweight Champion.



{Dean Ambrose}
One fluke victory over me doesn't mean a damn thing. Sure, you kept me down for a three count but I'm still standing, same can't be said for you. You should be used to being left out cold on my feet, Ziggler, that's all that happened when I was busy making your life a living hell. I knocked you down and you got back up, rinse and repeat then you became the World Champion. I made the mistake at letting you walk away once, I won't make that same mistake twice.



{Dean Ambrose}
Randy Orton, you were right about one thing last week, it was your final appearance on Breakdown, I made sure of it when I kicked your head off of your shoulders with your own move. I told you that you would regret making me a target and I made good on that promise. I took you out so it's only fair that Dean Ambrose is now this company's “Apex Predator,” wouldn't you agree?



{Dean Ambrose}
Another name added to the list of people who though they thought they could take me out. A list that consists of Dragons, Showoffs, people who think they are the best in the world at what they do, an “extreme” legend, and now a viper has been added. And that's not counting all the people who tried to make themselves famous when you put a bounty on my head, Ziggler



{Dean Ambrose}
Nobody has even come close to taking me out, no one has come close to making me pay for my sins, and no one ever will. Ziggler, you may already be on my list but that doesn't mean that I'm through causing you pain and misery. You are the sole reason why my conquest to take over this world was put on hold, and for that, you will pay.



{Dean Ambrose}
I will finish what I started at November To Remember last year and it'll make the things I did to Bryan, RVD and Orton pale in comparison to the pain I will bring to you. Consider this a message: The worst is yet to come, Ziggler.



Ambrose leans forward on the ropes, looking into the camera for a few moments before taking a step back and dropping the mic to the canvas. He looks at Ziggler's lifeless body for a few seconds then walks over to the ring ropes. Ambrose begins to exit the ring through said ropes but sees Ziggler start showing signs of life out of the corner of his eye, causing him to stop in his tracks. Ambrose backs himself into a corner for the all to familiar setup for his Knee Trembler. Ziggler makes it to all fours, using a hand to hold his forehead, still feeling the effects of the Headlock Driver on the steal chair a few minutes ago.

Ziggler begins shaking the cobwebs from his head as he slowly starts to gather his surroundings, unaware that Ambrose is sizing him up. Ambrose, with his arm already raised halfway into the air in the shape of a gun, “shoots” Ziggler for the first time since their last encounter and starts to make a beeline towards his former rival. Ziggler sees an incoming Dean Ambrose out of the corner of his eye and is able to avoid contact by rolling out of the way of the move, ending up outside the ring and at the bottom of the ramp.



Ziggler walks backwards up the ramp, not taking his eyes off of Ambrose as the favor is returned from inside the ring. Both men remain locked in a gaze before Breakdown fades into a commercial break and the last image being shown is both men engaging in a heated stare down with their rivalry seemingly being reignited.

A commercial break comes to an end and we return to the broadcast only to be taken backstage where Ted DiBiase is shown making a beeline for Hulk Hogan's office. Does this have anything to do with Ted being included in tonight's Main-Event Money in the Bank ladder match? Or perhaps Ted's upset over the events of last week, when he and Edge were supposed to compete in a tag-team match, that saw Ted ultimately face a Handicap. For whatever the reason may be, DiBiase approaches Hogan's door with a purpose, and as he grabs the handle firmly, he opts not to knock and bursts into the room flinging the door open.


[Ted DiBiase]
Yo Hogan, we gotta talk!

The cameras pan inside the room, showing General Manager in front of his desk, leaned against it while reading a local newspaper. He doesn't answer Ted's abrupt entry to his office, and that seems to bother Ted.

[Ted DiBiase]
Look, I appreciate tonight and all, but what about last week?! You give Edge a tag-team match we all knew wouldn't happen, I get thrown against two guys all by myself, I had the match in the bag, and then look who finally shows up, only to cost me the damn match! What are you going to do? You know with this new owner and all, your job doesn't look too secure, and I'm no expert at running a show or anything, but if you advertise something, shouldn't it happen exactly as it's supposed to? So maybe if you wanna impress Johnny and whoever runs XWL now...you should make an example out of Edge, after all...all's fair in love and war, ain't that right BROTHER?

Ted stands there as he looks at Hogan who is seemingly ignoring him. As each second passes, Ted begins to grow a bit more impatient to the point where he goes to speak again, this time in a more serious tone then before.

[Ted DiBiase]
Hulk... Are you even listening to me?

Ted awaits a reply but doesn't get one until the point where he is basically done waiting for a reply. He reaches up and grabs the newspaper, ripping it out of the hands of Hulk Hogan only to realize it wasn't Hogan reading the newspaper. It was probably the last person Ted would want to see right now, Edge! The crowd could be heard cheering in the background as Ted's expression begins to change from annoyed to annoyed and a bit angered, especially after what Edge pulled last week.

[Edge]
Woah there, Ted. Can't a man read a newspaper without having it ripped from his hands? I came in here to talk to Hulk myself, catch up on some old times and I had an idea for another tag match we could take part in next week but he wasn't here. Decided to read some of the comics and I've got to say, I forgot how funny these were.

Edge lets out a little chuckle before continuing to speak.

[Edge]
Oh, and sorry about last week. I kinda had this burrito for lunch and it didn't really sit to well. I went to the bathroom and next thing I know, I see you taking on the Motorcity Machine Guns all by yourself! You did good but Ted, being a tag team specialist, let me give you a few hints. You never should take your eyes off the pr-

But mid-sentence, Ted cuts Edge off.

[Ted DiBiase]
Real cute! Maybe I wouldn't have taken my eye off the "prize" had your stupid music not decided to play about thirty minutes too late! But no really, you were a BIG help, TO THEM!

[Edge]
Hold up one second, the guy with some lame country music has the nerve to call my music stupid? I'm sorry, but that's just not cool. But in all serious Ted, The Guns were distracted as much as you were. It's not like you were the only one to hear the music, right? But anyway, I figured since last week didn't go so well, we could try another tag team match next week! Any thoughts on a team we could face or would you want to try and beat The Guns again?

[Ted DiBiase]
Oh you wanna try to make it up to me? Then let's do it! The Guns, you and me, in that ring, the week before I kick your ass like I would've at Supremacy last year...sounds good to me! Now let's just hope I don't come down with a pesky bug of my own, it'd be an awful big shame if you were left all on your lonesome like I was...you know, an unfortunate circumstance that wasn't at all "intentional."  

Ted's sarcasm could not be any clearer, the tone of his voice tells us he's not the least bit serious with what he just said.

[Ted DiBiase]
On second thought, you know because I'm not a bastard like some people around here....sorry, but I'm going to have to respectfully decline your little offer. I'm more a loner, didn't used to be that way....but you know, some things happened, namely you screwing me and sending me on a downward spiral for the last whole damn year! But hey, who's holding a grudge? Not me, NOPE!

Edge doesn't reply for a second but then begins to speak.

[Edge]
You know, funny you mention a Downward Spiral because fun Edge fact of the day, The Downward Spiral was my finisher back in the day and I've been in the mood to start doing it again. Do you think I should or what? Some may say it kinda is a generic move and not as good as the spear but I don't know. The spear has kinda had my back for a while now, but I think the Downward Spiral could be the move that we could use to beat The Motorcity Machine Guns! Doesn't that sound great or is that just me?

Ted goes to reply but Edge once again cuts him off.

[Edge]
Actually, I don't know. All we know is that it's safe to say that The Dream Str- I mean, Silencer, because when we had that one match that you seem to like to bring up, it was called that. But like I was saying, we all saw how weak of a move it was last week, maybe I actually have what it takes to defeat The United States Champion and his partner in crime. Maybe I will be able to do what you couldn't last week, such a shame to see you lose. C'mon Ted, you need all the momentum you can for our match but also this money in the bank ladder match.

[Ted DiBiase]
You stay the hell away from that match! You and your little friend Johnny tried to set up another thing against me, to do whatever your sick plan is to keep me from getting ahead here....but Hulk Hogan FINALLY manned up and made a decision of his own, instead of doing what the powers wanted. We all know that WHEN I beat you at The Monster Bash, it won't be just a simple matter of, oh Ted can finally get an opportunity! No...there will be some kind of excuse, some loophole exploited, I see this for what it is...another attempt by this company at keeping me down...because that's what you did at Supremacy last year, you brought me down from the high that I was on, and I've not been able to reach those heights again since!


Ted's anger is boiling, and he starts shaking his head, his frustrations being vented.

[Ted DiBiase]
Not because of my own lack of ability, but no...because of people like you, Cody, Shawn...people they put in my path to stop me, but you're all merely delaying the inevitable. I will be World Heavyweight Champion again, and tonight...I'll secure that by winning The Money in the Bank! So if you've got any plans to try and come out there and tip the ladder, cut the lights out, RAISE THE DAMN THING UP IN THE AIR JUST LIKE MY LAST LADDER MATCH! Then I strongly suggest you just stay out of it....because I don't have to wait until next Sunday to take you out of my path!

[Edge]
Ouch, someone is pretty upset. Ted, I'm here to help. You are entering a ladder match and guess who would probably be one of the best people to talk to when it comes to a ladder match. You guessed it, Me. I've made my career based around them and as much as you'd hate to admit it, you know I'm pretty good when I've got a ladder in my hands. So here is this plan I had that I could guarantee could lead you to victory in that money in the bank match here tonight.

Edge begins to pull a piece of paper out of his pocket but pauses for a second.

[Edge]
Now, I've got to warn you. This may be a bit too complex for you to understand so I'll try to make it so you can understand it.

Edge pulls the paper out and unfolds it and shows it to Ted, as well as the camera. It clearly shows a stickman with a ladder next to him that looks something like this:



Ted seems confused by it as Edge speaks.

[Edge]
To put it in words you can understand: Ted climb up ladder to win! Like I said, it may be too complex for you because with all this anger you've seemed to be having, you'll probbaly want to bash a few skulls in with a ladder but you just can't do that, Ted. You've got to win! And god knows after last week if you could win.

Ted's seething, Edge is doing nothing but cracking jokes, and he used to be just like that....until Edge took that carefree attitude away from him, and brought about the most trying year of his life. Edge flashes a faint smile as he notices Ted getting angrier and angrier....which makes Ted snatch the paper right out of Edge's hand, ball it up in his fist, and throws it right at Edge! Edge doesn't seem annoyed though....he instead shakes his head mumbling "Oh Ted..." grabbing the balled up drawing, and throws it into a recycling bin...somehow making Ted even more angry than he already is. With a faint grin, Edge stares at Ted...and responds.

[Edge]
You've really gotta improve on your aim if you expect to be champion again someday, Teddy.

He starts to chuckle, and Ted's been sent over the edge....he's had enough of Edge's jokes, he's tired of him period! Ted lets out an enraged scream then with all the force he has, he pushes Edge so hard that Edge goes flying back over the table and to the floor behind Hulk Hogan's desk. Ted then turns away letting out another rage educed scream punching the wall nearest to him, leaving an imprint of his fist, and he storms out the door as Edge looks up over the table, somewhat amused by Ted's outburst, rather than angry himself. This is the last sight we see before we head to a quick recap of Hulk Hogan's big announcement earlier at the start of the show.

*15 Minutes Later*

Graves has the No. 1 Contender dazed on the outside, Graves grins as he burrows under the ring apron for a moment before emerging out with a chair which cause the crowd to spew boo's towards the man. Graves slaps the ground several times trying to coax Alberto to his feet.

Remember, there are NO disqualifications in this match, it can only end by submission. Something both these men take pride in as their expertise.

Graves measures Del Rio as he turns and fires the chair but Alberto ducks. Graves turns around, chair in both hands and Del Rio fires a Super Kick right into the chair causing it to smack Graves in the face! The crowd cheers Del Rio on as he starts slapping his wrist signaling his patented Cross Arm Breaker. Del Rio lifts up the body of Graves who starts stirring and out of instinct shoves Del Rio away, he charges in and dives for the knee but Del Rio side steps it and grabs him but is shoved off once again. Del Rio grabs the chair from moments ago and holds it up as Graves throws a punch and it smacks the chair causing him to shake his wrist in pain, Del Rio swings the chair and connects with a shot over Graves' arm! Graves falls to a knee holding the arm and yelling in pain, Del Rio hustled over and wraps the arm of Graves in the chair and hooks the arm and spins him over and snaps the chair down on the arm locking in the Cross Arm Breaker with the chair adding even more tension! Graves refuses to submit and starts yelling out in extreme pain. Del Rio keeps the hold applied as the referee's face goes into disgust and starts immediately calling for the bell!

*Del Rio releases the hold as the referee raises his hand up in the "X" sign to signify the EMT's to come down to the ring. Del Rio doesn't seem happy that it came to that, but understands it was Graves fault for not submitting. The EMT's come down and check on the superstar showing expressions of extreme pain, his arm is placed into a splint and the escort him to the back as Del Rio rolls back into the ring to celebrate with his fans. He motions over to Ricardo whose on the outside and he hands him his scarf and a microphone until-!





Del Rio's expression changes as Christian's theme begins to play throughout the arena, triggering the fans of Chicago to burst into cheers.



A couple of seconds pass before Christian makes his way out from behind the curtain with his World Heavyweight Championship in hand and a smirk gracing his face. He makes his way to the center of the stage and holds his World Championship up a little, looking down at it before looking back up at Del Rio and letting out a little laugh.



Christian raises the World Heavyweight Championship on to his shoulder and holds it there as he looks down the ramp and locks his eyes with Del Rio. A little bit of time passes as Christian's theme dies down and he raises up his microphone to speak.



[Christian]
Del Rio, congratulations on the win. If I were you, I'd bask in the glory all you can. Celebrate as much as you can, hold a fiesta. Reason being, you won't be getting the chance to celebrate after our match at The Monster Bash. And I'm not talking about some Money in the Bank winner cashing in after you win, I'm talking about how I'm going to be beating you in the middle of that ring. It's like this Berto, you are making this out to be about respect and how I disrespected you when I slapped you across the face. Truth is, I don't respect you, even before you superkicked me on my Peep Show. I gave my reasons why I don't like you or respect you, because you've had all this handed to you because of who you are.

Christian pauses for a moment before once against raising the microphone of his to speak.

[Christian]
The slap I delivered, it was to bring you back into reality because the reality is no matter how many monsters or chambers you've overcome, it really doesn't matter. Anyone can beat a monster, anyone can win a chamber, what makes you so special? Because you won two matches in one night? Oh, that's so good because it's not like I wrestled two matches a night for weeks when I was the XWL 15 Champion as well as the XWL Intercontinental Champion. So don't think that makes you special or that makes you deserve respect, because winning two matches doesn't give you respect, making a career out of winning matches and winning championships is what gives you respect.



{Alberto Del Rio}
So you don't like me, don't respect me because I was born in a better situation than you? Christian I respected you, not because you rose from very little to this level, although it admirable, I respected you because you are one of the best wrestlers in that ring night in and night out. I don't take into account the petty reasons why you don't like me into whether I like you or respect you. Christian, I don't know if you remember but those 2 matches I won weren't normal matches and it wasn't just two guys and the level of competition was on different levels. I defeated 6 men in one night, some of the absolute best in this company, to get that title what did you do? You cashed in Money in the Bank on a man who had already gone through one title match. I'd say if anyone deserves that title, it's ME. If anyone can say that they're special right now, it's ME.

Del Rio stops for a moment before keeping going.

{Alberto Del Rio}
I was given a quicker, more straight forward path in but that doesn't mean I didn't earn what I have, what I've achieved! I don't care if you like me or if you respect me but I'm not going to let you stand here and act better than me, let you try and discredit everything I've done just because I didn't struggle as much as you at the start. At The Monster Bash I was going to somewhat dread being the guy to end your title reign, now? I'm looking forward to it!



[Christian]
Actually, I'm pretty special if I do say so myself. Being the champion and all, something you've never amounted to, I'd say I'm the most special person in this company as of this very moment. But the fact is Berto, you are someone who knows how to run his mouth while having a hard time to back up everything you can say. And I have every right to be confident and oh, so do you because of what you went through. I'll give credit where credit is due and say you did do what most people in this planet couldn't do and you won two of the most dangerous matches in wrestling history. But I still have thr right to be confident because looking at history... You are like a staggering zero for what, like four or five in championship matches?



[Christian]
But it doesn't really matter because you may have momentum on your side to help you through this battle, well I have history on my side. And I had a little chat with history just a little bit ago and he told me that history would repeat with Alberto Del Rio once again failing to amount to what his expected of him in a World Heavyweight Championship match. And I don't mean to sound like the bad guy but I've worked for this and I'm not losing this one month after winning it. It won't be to you, Alberto. It won't be to Chris Jericho,Ted DiBiase or anyone else in that Money in the Bank ladder match here tonight. If you want to rip this championship from my hands, simply put, you'll have to rip them out of my cold dead hands.



{Alberto Del Rio}
I won't have to kill you to take that title from your hands Christian, but I won't have an issue in breaking your arm and taking that title off your broken body. And you're right history is a cruel mistress to me but sometimes looking back keeps you from looking ahead and Christian you do all the rationalizing you want looking for evidence in the past because while you're doing that I'll be walking into that match with a clean slate and nothing to lose. I'm a man with a final shot at redemption and I plan on taking it without hesitation, before last week you just happened to be the poor man in my way, but now you've lit a fire under my ass to not just win the title but to beat you. Before it was only about the title, but now it's to show you that I'm better than you that I can beat you, history can kiss my culo because I am winning that title at The Monster Bash! You know what they say, there's nothing more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose.



[Christian]
Nothing to lose? Maybe your father's respect will be lost if you don't win, no dad wants a son who amounts to nothing more then a failure. What about your families legacy? Or even that one family member of yours, Mil Mascaras or whatever his name is. That one guy with all the masks and no, I'm not talking about Rey Mysterio. I'm sure he'd be ashamed of watching you lose yet again. Face it, Berto, you have things you could lose. It isn't anything physical or anything you can hold, it's all in the mind, the mental things. Face facts, your quest for Redemption is as failed and pointless as the Redemption brand was. You can talk a lot of smack, but you fail to deliver it in the ring. Sure, you can go and beat up a few tattooed freaks who pledge allegiance to some stupid army but what does that prove? Nothing, you prey on the weak because you can't handle facing the strong because each and every time you step up only to be knocked down a step.



[Christian]
So I've got a little challenge for you, since you like to pick on the weak. Next week, we each pick an opponent for one another. A pick your poison match to be exact, and you can choose any man on the roster to face me while I can pick any man on the roster to face you. You seem to want to fight, you seem to want to break someones arm so I'm giving you the chance to next week if you are willing to accept it. Hell, I could throw someone like the former beast of the Shield, Roman Reigns at you. Maybe someone along the lines of a former World Heavyweight, Intercontinental, United States and XWL Champion in Chris Jericho at you... or... I could send someone who knows me better then anyone like Edge at you. What do you say, Berto, up for the challenge?



{Alberto Del Rio}
What do I say? Si! Christian, si. Yes, I accept your challenge because I can take on and beat anyone you throw at me, I am fully prepared for anyone and that's not different from any other night. Christian, I look forward to seeing who you choose as my opponent and I'm sure these people do to but regardless the end result will always be the same result as you just saw with Graves there. Reality isn't deceiving you as bad as I originally thought Christian, you know what you're up against in me, only thing left for you to realize is you're going to lose.

Christian nods but instead of replying drops the mic but shouts "We'll see Berto!" towards the ring as he heads backstage. Alberto watches him head to the back and stays in the ring himself for a few moments before he steps out as his theme music plays him to the back with the fans cheering for the No. 1 Contender as the show fades to commercial.

What an astounding kick from the British Bombshell Layla!

[King]
Maria is definetely going to feel that in the morning!

[Michael Cole]
From the looks of it, I'd say she's feeling it right now!


The fans scream and cheer as Layla almost knocks Maria's head off her shoulders with one hell of a super kick as she came back from the ropes. Layla falls to her hands and knees, exhausted and spent from this grueling match, but it's proven to be a huge warm up for both of these women. The Elimination Chamber will be much more challenging, and more career threatening, tonight's just a taste of what that chamber will bring, the only difference....tonight you can escape, but in two weeks, escaping isn't an option. Layla forces herself back up to her feet, she looks up at one of the high steel walls of chain linked fence, and after making sure Maria is still out like a light....she grasps the cage with both hands, and begins to scale up it!


[King]
This could be it! Layla could escape and win this match!

[Michael Cole]
I might not be a fan of her new "reformed" attitude, but there's one thing I can tell, this woman knows what to do when locked in a cage with another woman.


[JR]
She does have the only victory in the only Hell in a Cell match that this division has had, that certainly showed a lot of tenacity to pull that off.


[King]
Maria's stirring, but will she even be able to stand up after that wallop of a kick?



Layla uses the ropes as a sort of ladder to get higher up the cage, cautiously climbing because one slip-up, and she could say bye bye to competing in the Elimination Chamber. The cheers get louder as she gets higher up the cage, but a loopy Maria jumps to her feet, stumbling into the cage wall, but shaking off the cobwebs, Maria looks up and sees Layla getting further up the cage! She knows she's almost out, her feet are firmly on the top ropes, well not firmly...but she's stable enough to set her sights on attempting to climb the wall itself now. Maria looks around, trying to come up with a plan to stop her....and that's when her eyes loom over to the top rope nearest to Layla....and begins to climb up the corner all of a sudden!



[JR]
What? What's Maria doing? Layla's almost out, now isn't the time to fly!

[Michael Cole]
I think she's still affected by that kick, she doesn't even know where she is, or what she's doing!

[King]
What is she doing?! This is not like Maria at all!

[Michael Cole]
It's her hometown, Chicago...maybe she wants to go big!



Layla hesitates to proceed forward, the fans seem to be reacting differently than they were, and she's noticed this...she looks to her right, trying to see if Maria is still down or not. Meanwhile Maria's priming herself for something, what we don't know....but from the sudden look in her eyes, it looks like she's going for something completely out of her element. Layla's getting more and more concerned, she turns her body slightly to the right, trying to look on the mat for Maria....but she doesn't see her...immediately she knows something isn't right, but by the time she realizes this....it's already too late. Maria lets out a piercing scream, then leaps up off the top rope, charging at the sideways Layla grabbing her head in an instant headlock the two crash with a hard thud all the way to the mat with one of the biggest bulldogs we've ever seen!


[King]
WHA!!! I don't believe it!

[Michael Cole]
THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!

[JR]
I don't think I've ever seen anything like that before! Bah gawd, Maria just leaped off that turnbuckle and dropped Layla in a nasty way with that variation of a bulldog!

[King]
A bulldog has never looked that brutal before, she used to call it The Beautiful Bulldog, but after that...all I can think of is brutal!


The hometown fans suddenly become hugely on Maria's side! Loud cheers of shock, a rousing "HOLY SHIT!" chant blasting throughout the building. Both women are on the mat, motionless, and Maria might have just won over her hometown with that incredible risk that sure did pay off! Layla's face first on the mat, she hit it with such force that it's no surprise she appears to be knocked out, and while Maria was the one delivering the move, a landing that far down would leave anyone hurting.


[Michael Cole]
Get up, Maria! Layla's out, this is your chance to escape!

[JR]
If there ever was a time to climb out, it'd have to be now! Layla hit that mat like she ran into brick wall, and Maria needs to fight through the pain and get out of that cage because she's got this won!


The Chicago fans begin to chant "Let's go Maria!" following with loud stomping and clapping, one huge risk has shown the fans that maybe she's not all bad...maybe her words might not be doing her justice, because what they just saw, was selfless risk and all to entertain them! Though some could argue that it was just to take Layla out of the equation finally...but it's obvious her hometown fans would like to believe it's something more than that. The cheers regardless of Maria's intentions, seem to be giving her the strength to rise up! She grabs onto the ropes, holding her back, holding her rear end, she's hurting for certain...but she's in a lot better shape than Layla that's as clear as day.



[King]
She's up! Maria might have this!

[JR]
All she needs to do is escape, does she have it in her to scale that cage?



Maria backs herself against the corner closest to the ramp, exhausted, spent, hurting...but with the fans suddenly behind her, she looks to her back at the cage, and starts to climb up the turnbuckle, starting her climb out of the cage. She makes it to the top rope, Layla still down, not a single movement...Maria turns back around, focusing on continuing her ascent up the cage, slowly though because she knows it's dangerous, her last Steel Cage match may have been nearly four years ago, but she remembers the aches and pains she felt when she let her guard down.


[Michael Cole]
Keep going!

[King]
Maria's nearing the top!


Maria claws her way up the cage constructed wall, clinging to it like a spider monkey, but slowly she's making progress. However since she's going so slow, this gives Layla a little time to recover, a little too much time that is. The British Beauty writhes on the mat in pain, but she looks up, and sees Maria making an attempt at escaping, and knows that if she doesn't find the strength within to stand up and stop her, Maria's going to escape and win this match. Layla clings to the bottom rope, tugging on it, using it so she can get up, and she does! Half the battle is won, she's managed to stand up, now she needs to climb after Maria. Layla does just that, grabbing Maria by her ankle but she gets kicked in the jaw, stopping her progress but thankfully not knocking her off. Maria starts to hustle, climbing faster, knowing if she doesn't hurry Layla's going to keep trying to stop her.


[JR]
Layla's in hot pursuit of the fiery red head, but will she be able to stop her from climbing over the cage and escaping?


[Michael Cole]
There's no way, Maria's got this won, don't jinx it for her!



[King]
Isn't that jinxing it by insinuating she's practically won?



Indeed it is King, because Layla's getting closer to Maria, who finally reaches the top but she knows it's not over yet. She tries to kick her legs up over the top of the cage, to get all the way on top of it, but Layla's grabbing at her ankles, trying to pull her down, and clubbing at her lower back like a mad woman. Determined and unafraid, Layla brings Maria down slightly, attacking her still, not letting up a single bit. Maria screams in anger and pain, she's so close, she can't be stopped this easily from winning, she won't accept it! Her fingers begin to cling to the brim of the cage roof, clawing at it desperately until she pulls something off of it! It's the steel pipe that she's become so accustomed to using lately, she hid it on the top for this very reason, and she strikes Layla right across the temple, sending her falling like dead weight to the canvas, and the fans instantly turn on the hometown girl.

[JR]
What the hell?!


[King]
Maria used the pipe! Layla just took a nasty spill!

[Michael Cole]
It's all legal!

[JR]
It might be legal but they're not supposed to have weapons in there!



Maria's demeanor changes, she's laughing, now twirling the pipe in her hands with a bright glow about her. The boos are loud, but she's not at all affected by their sudden change of heart against her, all she cares about is winning this match, and proving a huge point to the entire divas division...and that's now what she's about to do. Taunting the fallen Layla, Maria savors the moment, standing on the top rope in an arrogant pose, as she looks down at the steel pipe, her one and only friend.




What?! Kaitlyn's theme roars throughout the stunned audience, their boos turning to loud and delighted cheers in a matter of seconds! Maria's jaw drops, she looks to the stage, shaking her head from side to side, this can't be....KAITLYN CAN'T BE COMING OUT HERE! But she is!


[Michael Cole]
Now hold on a second!


[JR]
It's Kaitlyn! Layla's friend has come to her aid after Maria resorted to the very same tactics she's fallen on recently against Kaitlyn herself.

[King]
Looks like Kaitlyn's had enough of Maria and her little "friend."


Kaitlyn storms down the ramp, not wasting a second, and she when she reaches the end of the ramp, and sees Maria clinging to the cage, angry, and holding that pipe in her hands...Kaitlyn decides to do something, something we didn't expect! The longest reigning Divas Champion begins to climb the cage from the outside!


[JR]
Bah gawd, Kaitlyn's trying to get in the cage!


[Michael Cole]
Someone stop her! This cage is supposed to stop this match from getting out of control like last week!

[King]
Maria caused all of this when she brought out that damn steel pipe!

[JR]
Look at Kaitlin go, she's rapidly getting closer to the top!



Kaitlyn nears the very top, and Maria screams "Get out of here!" shaking her steel pipe at her, only for Kaitlyn to suddenly grab it as she leans over the cage, trying to take it from Maria! The two struggle over the weapon, Maria refusing to let go of it, but Kaitlyn's strength proves to be the deciding factor here, giving Kaitlyn control of Maria's dear friend, and before she knows it, or can even brace herself, Kaitlyn strikes her with the steel pipe and Maria goes crashing to the mat beside Layla! The fans cheer loudly, and Kaitlyn flashes a grin as she holds the pipe up in the air to a huge pop.



[Michael Cole]
No! How is this fair?!

[JR]
It's like you said, Cole...it's all legal!

[King]
Maria just got a taste of her own medicine!



While Kaitlyn slowly climbs back down to the floor, with the pipe in hand to ensure Maria can't call on it for help again...both divas locked in the cage begin to stir, rolling over onto their stomach, they get up to their knees, beginning to use each other as the leverage they need to try and stand up. They intertwine their arms, trying to be the first up, but they're both up around the same time, and now's the time to strike! Maria dazed, but still aware enough, kicks Layla in the gut, and yells out to the now standing ringside Kaitlyn "This one's for you!" pulling Layla into a side headlock, she tightens the hold then primes herself for a bulldog, but as she tries to charge off ward, Layla holds her ground, and then uses what little she has left to push Maria off of her and with so much force that she's flung face first into the steel mesh, stumbling back like a rubber band, Layla grabs her from behind throwing her neck over her shoulder and drops her with a Layout! The referee begins to open the cage door upon Layla's instant request, but Kaitlyn politely pushes the referee aside holding the door open herself allowing Layla to crawl out of the ring, and successfully escape!






[JR]
Layla's done it! She's escaped the cage, and beaten Maria!

[King]
That was one crazy match, if this is anything to go by, The Elimination Chamber is going to be unreal!

[Michael Cole]
Why would it be anything to go by? You can't escape in The Elimination Chamber, so Layla's "victory" doesn't prove that she's suddenly a favorite to win at The Monster Bash.

[JR]
No one's saying that, Cole. I just think that the match itself shows that we can expect an unbelievable first Elimination Chamber for the divas.



Layla falls against the barricade, exhausted but elated, and her friend Kaitlyn stands by her side congratulating her and gingerly she places her arm around Layla helping her stand up so she can raise her arm in victory. Meanwhile Maria's down on the mat, pounding on it with her closed fist, but she's too worn out to do much else. Kaitlyn flashes a million dollar smile in Maria's direction then starts to help Layla up the ramp, as we head to a long overdue commercial break.

Breakdown returns from commercial to see John Laurinaitis, standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in his hand. There is a table set up in the middle of the ring, with chairs at either side of the table.



[John Laurinaitis]
My name is John Laurinaitis and I am the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations. I am out here right now on behalf of the XWL Board Of Directors to take care of some important business. Over the past few weeks Triple H has been on a rampage, which started with Shawn Michaels. Leading to a match being made at The Monsters Bash between Shawn Michaels and Triple H.  Now this isn't just any match-up.  This match-up will be an Unsanctioned Match at the request of Triple H.  What this means is that neither XWL, nor Shawn Michaels or Triple H will be legally liable for whatever happens at The Monster Bash.  If there is serious injury involved, or some other serious incident, XWL will not be held responsible.  The match official is only there to count the pinfall or call for a submission.  Anything else is in the hands of the two competitors.  What happens in the Unsanctioned match stays in the Unsanctioned match.


[John Laurinaitis]
Both Triple H and Shawn Michaels have agreed to sign a legally binding document, that agrees to the Unsanctioned match at The Monster Bash. This documents states that should Triple  H or Shawn Michaels get injured during this match, then XWL is not responsible. In no way will Shawn or Hunter be able to blame XWL for any injures received and I can't think of a better way to have a witness to the signing that in front of the public eye and live on television to millions of people around the world.  So now Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome one of the participants of this match-up... The Game, Triple H!




The music of The Cerebral Assassin hits to a huge roar of boos from the XWL Universe.  Triple H appears at the top of the ramp in a classy blue suit and begins his descent down the entrance ramp as focused and as confident as ever.



As he gets to the bottom of the ramp he stops for a few moments and looks from left to right, soaking up the audience's hatred before continuing.  There is no water spitting or poses on this night.  Triple H is all about business and enters the ring with no theatrics to where a clapping John Laurinaitis is standing.


[John Laurinaitis]
Ok Hunter, thanks for joining us.  Before you go ahead and sign this contract we need to get your opponent out here so that you two can exchange any final words that you may have.  So now, please welcome Triple H's opponent at the Monster Bash... The Heartbreak Kid.. Shawn Michaels!





The theme of HBK hits across the arena, the fans jump their feet and applaud Shawn Michaels as he appears from behind the curtain.



Shawn clearly isn't his normal self, as he slowly walks down the ramp, not once taking his focus away from his former friend Triple H who watches him with a steely gaze. Shawn doesn't acknowledge the cheering crowd as he walks straight to the ring, and enters it without a second thought. He takes a seat at the table opposite Triple H who remains standing.




[John Laurinaitis]
Now Gentlemen, We are out here tonight to sign this contract, that is all. We are not out here to fight, save that for the Monsters Bash. Now Shawn, if you could sign the contract first...

John Laurinaitis passes the contract to Shawn, Shawn looks at it long and hard before placing it back on the table. Instead of signing it, he picks up a microphone and just stares at Triple H.



[Shawn Michaels]
We've had times were we were the best of friends. We caused havoc, we broke the rules but most importantly we entertained these fans. Nobody has ever been more entertaining than the two of us. We've put each other through hell, we've beaten each other, made each other bleed but after all of it our friendship remained strong. No matter what we went through together, we came out of it stronger. When I was close to giving up this business on many occasions, you were there to stop me. You were there to make me see that this isn't just my job, it's my life. This is everything I've ever wanted to do and there isn't a single day that I regret becoming a Professional Wrestler. But to sit here today, despite all we've been through and look down at this contract... Knowing all this came by you wanting me retire...Nobody tells me when I'm ready to retire. I've worked my entire life to get here today, I'm not going to let you... or anybody tell me when it's time.


[Triple H]
I didn't want it to have to come to this Shawn.  You've forced me to do this.  If you can't see that it's time for you to call it quits... I'll have to make you.  Remember that story you told Ric before you retired him?  Let me refresh your memory Shawn, because it also applies to you.  That story was about Old Yeller... that happy, playful little dog that everyone loved and everyone cared about.  The best dog anyone could ever ask for.  One day, Old Yeller became too old to play anymore.  He became rabid.  So for his own good, Old Yeller was taken out the back and put down.  Nobody wanted to see him in that state and he was suffering.  But everybody remembers the sweet little dog and they look past his final days where he was a shadow of his former self.  That dog is just like you Shawn.  You're not like you once were and I'm sticking to the pact we made.  You can't perform at the high standards we set ourselves and you're too delusional to face facts.  So it's time to put you down before your career is tarnished and as your best friend, I'm going to be the one to do it.  


[Triple H]
I want to remember the Shawn Michaels who headlined, the Shawn Michaels who stole the show every single night.  I don't want to remember the Shawn Michaels who half-asses his performances.  I don't want to remember the Shawn Michaels who hung out with Don West's cronies and a bald swedish guy in a wig while making some weird sitcom-


Shawn interrupts.


[Shawn Michaels]
There's a difference between Me and Ric, and that's the fact that deep down...Ric knew he was ready to retire. I did what I had to do, I did what Ric wanted me to do. Landing the Sweet Chin Music on Ric and pinning him in the middle of that ring, was the hardest thing I had ever done in my career. I'm still the same Shawn Michaels I was back then, I'm still the same Shawn Michaels who went for over an hour with Bret Hart, and I'm still the same Shawn Michaels who kicked you straight in the face, and pinned you inside an Elimination Chamber to win the World Championship. I'm the first to admit, the last few months of my career made it look like I'd gone down hill, it was embarrassing for me...You're right, that's not the real Shawn Michaels.  But You're now sat across this table from the real Heartbreak Kid. If going one on one in this ring is what it will take you to realize that, then so be it. I will show you that I can still go at the highest level, but not only that. I will show you that I can still win at the highest level.


[Triple H]
Do you honestly believe that Shawn?  Do you honestly think you still have what it takes?  When was the last time you did something to be proud of?  Because you'd have to think for a long time to come up with something wouldn't you?  Now I'm no saint.  I've not exactly been the competitor that I can be over this past year or so, but if you ask Brad Maddox or Mick Foley what they think of me lately, I'm sure they'll tell you I've turned a corner.  A corner that you can't turn Shawn.  You're past it, and you're embarrassing yourself.  Not just in your matches, but when you open your mouth.  You're sat there right now and you're trying to build yourself up ahead of our match and make me go back on what I've said.  But I look in your eyes right now Shawn and I see a sad, broken, old man trying to remain relevant.  Trying to keep the spotlight on him and desperately trying to convince himself that he still has it.  

Triple H leans over the table and stares right into the face of his adversary.


[Triple H]
But the fact is Shawn, the sparkle you had, has long gone.  Your words hold no weight and you can't back them up.  All those amazing matches you had... all the fun we had as DX... and all of those Wrestlemania and Final Stand moments you were a part of... they're all a thing of the past.  You say that you're not like Ric but from where I'm standing, you're just the way he was.  You're in denial and you're delusional.  You think you're still as good as you ever were, that you can still hang with the best of them, but that isn't the case anymore.  I have a duty as your best friend to put you out of your misery and to preserve your legacy so you're remembered as one of the greats as you deserve and not as some kind of joke, so one way or another Shawn, when you and I step foot into the ring together at The Monster Bash...


[Triple H]
...it's over.

Triple H stares intensely long and hard into the sad eyes of his longtime friend as the crowd boos louder than they have all night.


[Shawn Michaels]
You're right... it is over. But let me tell you, Hunter. It won't be my career that's over. This thing that you and I had is over, all the DX memories, all the times on the road... is in the past. I've said many times that I wouldn't be where I am today without you, and no matter what happens, that will always be true. But don't forget, Hunter...if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't be here today. If all those years ago, Me and Big Kev didn't take you under our wing... You'd have amounted to nothing in this business. When Nash and Hall left... it was left to me to have your back. I made sure that you got the treatment that you deserved.  I had your back from day one, I saw something special about you, and I'm not afraid to say I was right.. You do have that something special....You know everything there is to know about this business, you're a man who is  rarely wrong when it comes to Professional Wrestling...  but you're wrong about this Hunter. You're not looking at a broken old man, you're looking at the man who will kick your teeth down your throat and pin you for the three in the middle of this ring. My whole career has been proving people wrong, I never thought I'd come to the day where you would be the one I'm proving wrong.


[Triple H]
And I never thought the day would come where I had to cause you unthinkable pain Shawn.  Do you realize what's in store for you come The Monster Bash?  If you think your back injury was bad, just wait until after our match Shawn.  You came back from that injury.  But you won't be coming back once I'm through with you.  I guarantee it.


[Shawn Michaels]
You shouldn't make guarantees that you can't keep,Hunter. You've never been able to stop me from coming back before, You drove a sledge hammer into my back, you threw me through a car window... but Every time you knocked me down, I came fighting back. My entire life has been a fight to get here, and I've still got some of that fight left in me. You're forgetting one vital rule, Hunter... Don't hunt what you can't kill.

Triple H appears offended as he replies.


[Triple H]
What kind of a monster do you think I am?  I don't want to kill you Shawn, I only want to cripple you.  I want you to never wrestle again for your own sake.  I've already contacted your wife Rebecca to tell her to give up her day-job so she can look after you on a full-time basis.  I've even gone ahead and told your kids that daddy's coming home permanently and they're so excited that Uncle Hunter is going to make it happen.  I'm such a nice guy that I've even bought them front row tickets for your final match.  It's going to be one big family occasion Shawn.  It's going to bring a tear to my eye seeing all the emotion and love after the great Heartbreak Kid finally retires...



Shawn just stares at with a cold look straight at Triple H. Shawn picks up the pen from the table, and signs the contract. Not removing his focus from Triple H. HBK throws the contract across the table towards Triple H, now all that is left is for Triple H to sign the contract.


[Shawn Michaels]
All you have to do is sign it, Hunter. You want to make all this a reality? Sign that contract and it's official. You get your chance to end my career... You wanted a fight at The Monster Bash and you've got one. But be careful what you wish for Hunter... You want this match as unsanctioned.... I will not be held responsible for my actions at The Monster Bash.


[Triple H]
That's fine by me Shawn because I'll take whatever you can throw at me.  Bring your best because the outcome will still be the same.  I'm doing you a favor by signing this contract, and in a few years time, you'll thank me for it.  You'll be grateful that I ended your career when I did because if I didn't you'd be remembered as a laughing stock.  At least now, you'll still be considered a legend and I'll be putting you to rest in one final big match-up.

The Cerebral Assassin signs the contract without any hesitation.  The match is official and the crowd goes into a frenzy.


[John Laurinaitis]
There we have it it is now official! At the Monster Bash, Triple H and Shawn Michaels will do battle in an unsanctioned match. Good luck to both of you gentlemen, and may the best man win.


With the contract signed Shawn gets to his feet, before Triple H immediately throws the table aside. HBK and The Game are now face to the face, almost nose to nose in an intense stare lockup.  The crowd are going nuts in anticipation of what is about to happen. The stare down between the two continues, as both men wait for the other to make the first move. But then without warning, HBK turns away.  The crowd are clearly disappointed, not getting the brawl they was expecting. A smirk comes across the face of Triple H as he feels he has got inside the head of his longtime friend but just has HBK is about to exit the ring he stops.....



SWEET CHIN MUSIC! Shawn Michaels hits the Sweet Chin Music on Triple H out of nowhere! Triple H is out cold on the canvas! The crowd burst into cheers as Shawn Michaels takes off his jacket and throws it down at Triple H.



He stands over Triple H, who is still yet to move an inch as he begins to rip open his shirt.






Michaels' theme hits around the arena one more time, as a glimpse of the Old HBK appears with Michaels beginning to dance around the ring in celebration before the screen fades away to another commercial break...

The scene opens up backstage where an exhausted but smiling Layla stands in front of the camera.

{Interviewer}
Layla, that was one hell of a match you had earlier against Maria, very physically demanding and in the end you pulled out the win. That was in big part to your friend Kaitlyn coming out and making the save after Maria hit you with the pipe at the top of the cage. Any comment on what's going through your head? Especially with the Elimination Chamber right around the corner.

[Layla]
I'm absolutely ecstatic, I finally got some payback on Maria for all she's put me thr-CRACK!

Layla slams against the cold hard ground as the camera flies up to reveal that Maria is the culprit! She has a enraged look on her face as she breathes heavily dropping her signature pipe that cost her the match earlier. She walks over to the dazed Layla and grabs her by the hair.

{Maria}
You think you REALLY beat me? If it wasn't for Kaitlyn I would've won, left you lying like the loser you are in the center of that ring. So I have a question, where's your beloved friend now?!

As Maria yells this she slams Layla's head off the ground! However, she doesn't release her hair as he pulls her to her feet. Maria locks her into a side headlock and turns towards a metal garage door. Maria yells out and charges the door driving Layla skull first into! Layla collapses to the ground motionless as Maria just stares down without any emotion at the scene she lets a small grin creep across her face and slowly falls to her knees and lays over top Layla whispering in her ear....

{Maria}
Until next time....

Maria leaps to her feet, grabs her pipe and walks from the scene as the cameraman starts calling for help for Layla who has now started moving, trying to figure out what just happened, the camera drops as he sprints to her aid and the show cuts to the next segment.

Edge goes for spear, Ted comes out being a trolly somewhat heel, fans are booing cause they wanted Edge to spear and Ted was talking shit on the mic. Edge eventually turns away from Ted who is still on about "Not distracting him" when he totally is...Edge charges at HHH for spear, runs into gut kick, pedigree 1, 2, 3. After the match Ted gets in ring, mocking Edge, fans are booing with a minority of them cheering, vintage Chicago? Ted helps Edge up, only to drop him back down with The Silencer. But the fans are anything but silent, they boo. Ted then gets down on the mat next to Edge and is all "So close" and stuff like that before he realizes he's being boo'd and he's like what? Edge is the bad guy not him, but the way it looks...Ted's now the bad guy?



Was A LOT better and clearer but it's late, have work tomorrow, lost everything I had, was basically ready to post, and the backspace button screwed me and took me back to the original quite the card bit where all the matches show but the stuff I did doesn't....vintage.

[[Punk]]:: Last week the World witnessed a miracle, as though God himself intervened in life but for a brief moment and gave us all just a brief glimpse of the power that the almighty possesses. The whole World watched in shock and awe, as they bared witnessed to what they were seeing before them. The people in the arena jaws dropped in a heatbeat, the silence was so thick that and I know it's cliché but you could in fact hear a pin drop. The people who watched at home were glued to their TV sets, although many changed the channel momentarily and some even fiddled with their cable wires because they just couldn't believe what they were seeing before them, there was no logical reasoning as to why this was happening before them. But I have come out here tonight to tell you that it did happen and what you seen last week was reality and not some form of camera magic. Last week you all seen a real miracle, Kevin Steen actually grew a set of balls.



[[Punk]]:: I know, I know how ridiculous it sounds but trust me I have tried to figure this out but what we seen last week defies all logic, there was no thought process behind what Kevin Steen done last week, there is nothing for him to gain and I have thought of every possibility in every each different way but still none of it makes any sense. So how else could you explain last weeks actions? I mean, why else would I man who has never achieved anything during his entire tenure in this company want to step inside the ring with the likes of me? Why else would somebody who is only known for picking on people smaller than him and beating up old men want to step inside the ring with the absolute Best in the World? Like I said, it makes no sense and you could go crazy trying to figure out the logic and thought process. So I ask you one last time, why would somebody like that agree to a match with CM Punk? Why would someone like that want to fight the Best in the World?



[[Punk]]:: I could go on for days about why someone like that wouldn't want to step into the ring with someone like me.
1. I'm the Best in the World.
2. I'm better than you.
3. No real victories under your belt.
4. Only accomplishment is losing in the Elimination Chamber.
5. Punching way above your weight.
6. I have beaten everybody that has been put in my path.
7. I'm a former King of the Ring
8. I am a multiple time World Champion
9. I have had more big matches in this company than you have had regular matches.
10. Oh, and did I mention. I'm the BEST IN THE WORLD!



[[Punk]]:: Kevin, you can try and spin this anyway you like to make it seem as though the ball is in your court. Perhaps to give you some sense of well being and falsely leading you to the conclusion that you in fact have some chance of winning or in fact survivng our encounter at the Monster Bash. You can claim to be a monster because I have taken down bigger foes, you can claim that you are unstoppable because there are many names on my list have had made the same claim and all of them have been put to sleep by yours truly. Truth is, you haven't got a chance in hell. Now I could say literally anything I wanted right now, I could insult your idiocracy for agreeing to step into the ring with me, I could call you fat, a moron, a no good spot monkey but I won't. Why? Because one, I don't like to state the obvious and two, I've already got what I wanted. A match with you come Monster Bash, where you will learn first hand why I am in fact the Best in the World!



[[Punk]]::But now onto more pressing matters. For the past two weeks I have had a few people lingering around backstage, they're there when I arrive in the building, they are around my locker room and they are around the curtains when I come out to this ring. I may indeed sound paranoid but they have a certain look about them, as though they are just more empty suits who are waiting for the orders. The way I figure it, the big guy upstairs is just waiting for his moment where I slip up and give him what he wants most in this World, give him the chance to hand me one of his terrifying “Warnings” so that he can get some relief. Sadly for him, that will not be happening any time soon, he may have a hard on for CM Punk but as long as I know that my presence here is bothering him so much I am here to stay.



[[Punk]]:: But, I do not take too kindly to being followed around by people backstage, I do not take too kindly to being constantly crowded by these empty suits. So what I have done, when I had some private time, when there was not eighteen set of eyes staring at me from a distance, I consulted my very good friend Paul Heyman about what I should do. Naturally my first thought being was to knock their teeth out, make a pretty necklace and send it to the boss himself but I was advised against that by Paul and he informed me of a better way to go about it. Paul.

*Punk hands Paul Heyman the microphone, Heyman steps into the centre of the ring and holds up a sheet of paper in his hand.*



[[Heyman]]: Thank you. I would like to draw your attention to what I hold in my hand, fear not it is not another “warning” from the higher ups. As a matter of fact, this is a warning note from myself and CM Punk to the boss himself. When CM Punk came to me and told me about what was happening at the shows every week, I told him to calm down and to not take matters into his own hands and in doing so I saved the faces of many people backstage. I took my good friend to one side and I told him that we shall fight fire with fire, we shall beat him at his own game and then maybe you shall receive some peace.



[[Heyman]]: You see what my client CM Punk is suffering through on a daily basis is harrassment, ordered out by a quote, unquote “Man” who has nothing better to do than get his stooges to stalk this innocent young man in the work place. This sick and strange behaviour, almost fetish like is so disturbing that it has left my client fearing for his safety on a constant basis, he cannot relax, he cannot have privacy because he is constantly looking over his shoulder at the endless people shadowing him almost every second he comes to work. “This will not do” I said, I said we should take this higher and no we didn't take this to the management themselves we went that one step higher and we took this situation to a court of law.



[[Heyman]]: We told the judge what was happening on a regular basis and he handed us this. This is for the boss himself but I will read it aloud for the World to hear. This, is a restraining order but this is a restraining order that comes with a few little perks that my client CM Punk and I came up and due to the pain and that CM Punk is being caused every day the judge agreed to our little perks and he gave us this lovely sheet of paper which states that the restraining order is in place. I will now read aloud to you all what the boss himself has to follow, otherwise it could have major affects to his life.



[[Heyman]]: It reads “If heard speaking at any time about one, CM Punk, the person in which this restraining order applies shall be placed with a Warning from the federal courts. If these actions should continue within the time period of two weeks, then the person in question shall be placed with a second Warning and will receive a fine and will be instructed to pay that fine to one, CM Punk. If a second warning should be necessary a public apology will be required on top of the fine, however if no apology occurs and the original actions continue then the person in question will receive his final Warning and be required to spend a week of community service. If the person in question still refuses to refrain from his actions, he shall be placed under arrest for breaching the terms of his restraining order.”



[[Heyman]]: On top of that. “If at any time any of the colleagues continue their previous actions prior to issuing this restraining order, the people in question shall immediately be sent to Community service and given a hefty fine. Harrassing and stalking will not be tolerated, they shall receive one strike and one strike only, if they continue to break the terms of the restraining order after receiving their first strike they shall be immediately arrested for breaching the terms of the restraining order.” So, both myself and CM Punk... Well, not so much CM Punk in fact there is nothing more that he would like than to see you thrown into jail but I hope, as a wealthy and successful business man that you are, I hope that you have more sense than to continue your previous actions and leave this man well enough alone. *CM Punk stands behind Paul Heyman with a smirk on his face, as though he has just beaten someone at their own game. Heyman drops the microphone and both men exit the ring and head up the ramp. Punk takes the restraining order from Heyman's hands and begins kissing the piece of paper before bother men disappear behind the curtain.*

*The theme song of Daniel Bryan hits as the fans burst into cheers, the man who made Chris Jericho tap just last week makes his way onto the stage looking focused and ready for his big match against former World Champion Joey Ryan.*



[Jim Ross] Daniel Bryan has obviously got to be on top of the world after he made Chris Jericho tap out last week.

[Michael Cole] He may be on top of the world now but will he be this happy about the outcome of his match at The Monster Bash?

[Jerry Lawler] He made him tap once, all he has to do is make it happen again on Pay Per View!

*He throws his arms up in the air and shouts "YES!" as he runs sideways down the ramp as the fans chant it along with him. He stops at the end of the ramp and raises his arms in the air once more.*



[Jim Ross] Wait a damn minute, is that?!

*The welcoming cheers suddenly turns to gasps and boo's as Chris Jericho is seen running down the ramp at full speed blind siding him from behind! With a huge forearm to the back of the head Daniel flies forward. Daniel doesn't even get a chance to recover as Jericho viciously stomps him over and over at the ring apron before picking him up by his hair and throwing him full force into the steel steps back first!*

[Jerry Lawler] Oh come on! Chris just can't get over the fact that he was forced  to tap out last week, this is going to prove nothing!

[Chris Jericho]  You son of a bitch!  You want to me make tap out?  Huh?

*Daniel yells in pain as the top half of the steel steps is unhinged from the force he was thrown at. Jericho disrespects Daniel as he rips open his T-Shirt and throws it to the ground, he picks him up in a bearhug type position and then runs with him back first into the steel ring post! The back of Daniel's head also catches the post as he crumbles to the ground.*

[Michael Cole] His head! His head hit the ring post too! Chris Jericho doesn't give a damn about Daniel Bryan's well being.

*Daniel is trying to catch his breath on the ground but now Jericho picks him up and throws him into the barricade. Jericho has bad intentions as he starts peeling at the outside ring mats before pulling off the padding! He throws off the protective mat to exposde the concrete floor as the fans boo even louder. But Jericho has given Daniel too much time to heal as he's back to his feet! He leaps at Jericho with a big forearm knocking him down, he slides into the ring now.*

[Jim Ross] No Daniel, don't do it! Just get out of there for crying out loud!

[Jerry Lawler] I don't think Daniel Bryan is one to give up on a fight, here he comes!

*Daniel runs at full speed across the ring and on the way back he goes for a suicide dive but as he's in mid air Jericho catches him and throws him down with force making him land back first on the unprotected concrete! Daniel is in agony now as Jericho grabs him by the legs and turns him over, the damage has been severely done to his back as he locks in the Walls of Jericho!*

[Jim Ross] GOOD GOD! Daniel Bryan landed spine first right on the concrete, and now he's locked right in the Walls of Jericho with no-one to help!

[Michael Cole] The risk didn't pay off and now he could be seriously injured, look at the torque on that Walls of Jericho, he's gonna snap in half!

[Chris Jericho]  Tap out!  Tap out Bryan!  Tap!

*Daniel has nowhere to go on the outside as he yells in pain and is forced to tap out! Jericho refuses to let go even though he has got his revenge making Daniel tap, referees and backstage agents rush down to ringside now. They try to pry Jericho off of Daniel but it takes a long time because Jericho just won't let go. After nearly a minute in the hold Jericho lets go as the referees and agents force him to head up the ramp.*

[Chris Jericho]  How do you like that Bryan?  Huh?  How do you like that?

[Jerry Lawler] It's safe to say Daniel Bryan is in no condition to face Joey Ryan tonight after what Chris Jericho just did. But I know Daniel's not going to take this lightly.

[Jim Ross] I hope Chris Jericho is proud of himself, he's a downright sick bastard, look at him smiling!!



*Jericho watches on with a smirk as he loosens up his tie, the medics are seen helping Daniel up as Jericho makes his way through the curtain. As the medics tend to Daniel we fade away to a video package.*

Hey John, if I could talk to you for just a second...

[John Morrison]
Go ahead man, just waiting for this attire to be finished, feel free to ask away.

[Cameraman]
Tonight is a huge night for everyone I would say. Hulk Hogan made an announcement earlier on that tonight would be an extreme one. On top of adding multiple extreme stipulations to matches, the hugest announcement had to be the Money In The Bank Ladder Match, which he included you in. Can I get some thoughts on that? How are you feeling?

[John Morrison]
I have to say I'm honored to be given this opportunity yet again after coming up short in the first Money In The Bank. This is truly an opportunity to showcase my skills tonight and finally earn the briefcase that I've been longing for. I've been chasing the XWL World Heavyweight Championship for 5 years now, since the first Final Stand. It's been a dream of mine to win the big one and with this briefcase in my possession, I could cash-in anywhere, anytime and in a matter of seconds, I could be the new World Heavyweight Championship and Intercontinental Champion. I also have to thank Hulk Hogan for seeing my potential and giving me countless opportunities, I don't see why he's under review for putting on quality shows.

[Cameraman]
Now, as announced earlier, the other participants in the match are some big names, shall we run down the list? First up, Alex Shelley, thoughts?

[John Morrison]
Alex Shelley really is a guy I've come to know and respect. I respect him inside and out of the ring. He truly deserves to be in this match, he's one of those guys that's constantly overlooked because he isn't the biggest and strongest.

[Cameraman]
What about Ted DiBiase?

[John Morrison]
Ted is another guy who I respect. I'm glad he's getting another chance to prove himself, for too long, he's been getting screwed over by the likes of Vickie Guerrero, Shawn Michaels and Cody Rhodes. Neither of them will have any influence in the decision tonight.

[Cameraman]
And the final participant, Chris Jericho.

[John Morrison]
Chris is a tough competitor, not as good as he used to be but obviously I've been struggling to beat him this year. Christian just cashed-in on him and I'm sure he wants to return the favor. Honestly, I'm not too worried about everyone involved in the match, I just have to worry about climbing that ladder and securing that briefcase. But I will say good luck to everyone competing.

[Cameraman]
Good luck to you too John. Now that isn't the only thing you have to worry about, Corey Graves is gunning for your Intercontinental Championship. And last week, we saw MCMG and WSA at each other's necks last week, leading to the announcement of a huge tag team match that will take place next week. Is there anything you want to say to Graves before next week?

[John Morrison]
Actually, I have a lot I'd like to say. Graves... if there's a couple of things I'd like to teach you, it would be...

John! Your attire is ready.

Nice chatting with you cameraman, I have to get this and prepare for later on so let's continue this another day, see you around.

ADRIAN NEVILLE!

As Adrian makes his way down the ramp, the commentators begin to speak.

[Michael Cole]
Well folks, let's take a look back at last week.

The screen transitions to a few clips from last weeks show. Specifically, what occurred after Adrian Neville's debut match

[Michael Cole]
Summer Rae would come out to distract Adrian Neville...

Quote :

Summer Rae comes out to the stage, dancing all by herself. She stops for a moment, giggles playfully and plays with her hair as Neville remains confused in the ring. Neville turns to the referee, Jack Doan, asking if he knows anything about this. Jack shrugs and assures him he knows nothing as Summer performs a split. She smiles and freezes.

[Michael Cole]
This would set up the perfect opportunity for Fandango to viciously attack Adrian from behind.

Quote :

Suddenly, the camera pans back over to the ring where Neville collapses to the mat and holds his head, kicking his right foot a little in pain. As the camera zooms out, we can clearly make out Fandango standing tall above him!

[Jim Ross]
...but it wouldn't end there, Michael. Watch as Fandango just beats the life out of Adrian Neville.

Quote :

Fandango continues with the assault, driving the boots  into the midsection over and over. With Neville still out on the mat, Fandango steps over him and drops down to a knee, putting himself over Neville’s body. He jerks his head up off the mat and holds it up by the hair, allowing him to drill some hard rights into his skull. The blows start to become more rapid as the assault goes on.

[Jim Ross]
Then, he hits that devastating leg drop off the top rope.

Quote :

With Neville seemingly out for good now, Fandango ascends to the top rope. Fandango leaps off the top, soars over halfway across the ring, and creams Neville with a leg drop! Summer enters the ring and performs the splits, while Fandango busts out his signature pose. Summer holds her arms out and smiles, while Fandango looks down at the mat, showing no expression.

[Jerry Lawler]
I've been on the receiving end of a move like that. Trust me, it does not feel good.

[Michael Cole]
The question is... Why? Why did Fandango attack Adrian Neville?

As we return from last weeks footage, Adrian is shown shaking his head in disgust after watching the footage as well. He stands in the ring, awaiting the arrival of his opponent.



A wave of collective jeers comes from the crowd as Fandango’s music hits, as Neville clenches his fists in the ring. They have spared no expense for Fandango’s entrance, as a huge golden curtain supported by an arch has been set up on the stage. Eventually, Summer Rae pops out from behind the curtain, decked out in a stunning pink dress She dances around the stage by herself for a bit, much like last week, but this time she stops and points to the curtain, where Fandango makes his way out from.



[Michael Cole]
I like this - go big or go home!

[Jerry Lawler]
Yeah… wait, you’re talking about Summer, right?

[Jim Ross]
Fandango can make his entrance as grand and spectacular as he wants, but tonight he has to step in the ring with a man he pissed off.

Fandango makes his way over to Summer and takes her hand, raising it up just to kiss his own. He pulls her close and spins her around, following it up with some dance moves I don’t know what to call because I’m too white to dance. When they’re finished Fandango pulls her back in close and she wraps her arm around him, Summer letting out a smirk as Fandango inhales and closes his eyes, then opening them and smiling at Summer. They let each other go and Fandango pulls out a microphone from his jacket, wasting no more time before he begins to speak.



[Fandango]
Andrew… you seem a little… tense. You… and all of you people.. can relax now… because I am here. Now, a few weeks ago… angelface over here warned you all that something .. wasn’t going to go according to plan. She warned Hankford Hogan the same thing… and he didn’t listen… you didn’t listen, Andrew. Everybody has been abuzz about your debut… but in reality they should have been abuzz about the debut of… FANDANGO! You are nothing compared to me. Just look at you… and look at me. Look at your scrawny… repulsive body  and look at my 10 percent body fat body hand crafted by God himself. You are not going to be… the next big thing… around here, Andrew. It’s going to be… me! And quite honestly… I don’t you think you deserve to be… in the same ring as me. The only way… you people will get to experience the debut of… FANDANGO… is if you, Andrew… say my name.

Adrian turns to Justin and shrugs, asking for the microphone. Justin hands it over and Adrian raises it to speak.

[Adrian Neville]
Johnny Curtis.

[Jim Ross]
Oh no.

Neville can’t help but let out a smirk, but Fandango and Summer are livid up on the stage. Fandango is so offended he has turned his back to Neville and now stares up at the titantron. He puts his head in his hands, as Summer tries her best to calm him down. The camera is able to pick up a few words that the two exchange…

[Summer Rae]
I’m sure he didn’t mean it, baby!

[Fandango]
He didn’t even have any As… how can the As breathe… if they’re no As?

[Summer Rae]
I know, I know.

Fandango cools off and turns back around, raising the microphone once more.

[Fandango]
You people… have one more shot… if Joshua can say my name correctly.

*Flustered*

[Justin Roberts]
Me?

[Summer Rae]
Yes, you, now say it!

[Justin Roberts]
Okay…

[Fandango]
You’re wasting our time… on with it.

[Justin Roberts][b]
Fandango!

[b]Fandango hangs his head as Summer facepalms, just before she once again has to try and calm Fandango down. He cools off much quicker this time and begins to speak.

[Fandango]
One more time… now, say it with me…. FAAAAAAAN…

[Justin Roberts]
Faaan…

[Fandango]
DAAAAAAN…

[Justin Roberts]
Daaan…

[Fandango]
GOOOOOOOOOOO!

[Justin Roberts]
Go.

[Fandango]
Go!

Fandango shakes his head as Summer looks disgusted and she turns away, not wanting to look at Justin Roberts.

[Fandango]
I’m sorry… Andrew… I simply cannot teach your child. Let’s go, Summer… we have… reservations.



Fandango takes Summer’s hand and the two turn back for a moment to look at Adrian Neville. They shake their heads and walk off together. Adrian remains in the ring, ticked off and he clenches his fists again. He shakes his head as well and storms out of the ring, marching up the ramp, perhaps in pursuit of Fandango and Summer Rae? Breakdown heads to a commercial break as Neville makes his way backstage, and it seems like he’s not willing to let Fandango get off easy, but it’s clear Fandango wants no part of “The Man Gravity Forgot!”

*Breakdown returns from a commercial break showing the previous XWL.com poll, where AJ Styles was deemed to be the superstar the XWL Universe wanted to return the most.  The poll is shown for a few moments before cutting to Michael Cole who is inside the ring with a mic in hand.*



[Cole]: For weeks now, you the XWL Universe have been ranting and raving, most of you if not all of you have taken to the social media platforms and tried to make your voices heard. Even at XWL's Live events, wherever we are, whether it is a live show or just a house show there is one thing on your minds and you all scream about it before the show, during the show as well as after the show. It has been the hot topic for you all, everybody likes to rally behind something and the XWL Universe for the past month has definitely found their cause.



[Cole]: I know many of you have your fears that your voices have fallen onto deaf ears, with the XWL Management or in fact anybody working for this company having yet to give you an explanation, an answer or even reassuring you all that your voice has been heard. Most of the time when met with such response the chants will die down and everyone will abandon their cause but as the weeks progressed and as every week goes by where the XWL Community at large doesn't receive an answer you only get louder and louder, you chant more and more and it only places the spotlight on the person that you all want to see most.



[Cole]: But, I want the World to now rest easy. Let it be heard that Michael Cole does have some pull inside the backstage area and from now on nobody who walks this Earth today can not say that Michael Cole is not a man of the people because I have personally went out and found the person that you all crave the most, I have requested their appearance with me here tonight and they have accepted that request. So XWL Universe ask, ask, ask and you shall receive thanks to me, Michael Cole but I want you all to do one thing for me. The certain "phenomenal" person backstage is a little skeptical of coming out here tonight, so I want you all to show them how much they mean to you and chant until your hearts content.

*Loud cheers begin to roar through the crowd before the XWL Universe in unison begin screaming at the top of their voices “We want AJ! We want AJ! We want AJ!” getting louder and louder with each and every passing verse. Cheers begin to again overshadow the chants, the crowd begin to clap with excitement awaiting the arrival of AJ.*



[Cole]: You want AJ?

*The crowd cheers loudly.*

[Cole]: I can't hear you, I asked do you want AJ?

*The crowd cheer even louder than before, the arena begins rocking and the roof is about ready to come off.*

[Cole]: So be it. You want AJ, then I give you AJ!

*Large cheers again ring through the arena before the crowd abandon the cheers and instead begin chanting YES! YES! At the top of their voices.*





*AJ Lee comes skipping down the entrance ramp to a huge roar of disapproval.  The fans are on their feet in rage as Michael Cole laughs and claps as AJ makes her entrance.  She takes up a spot next to Cole with a big smile on her face.*



[Cole]  Now, now, don't you people boo!  I gave you what you wanted!  I gave you AJ!

*The crowd boos even louder.*

[Cole]  Now before we get started on yet another Michael Cole exclusive interview, let me first say to you AJ... that you look Phenomenal here tonight.

*Cole chuckles to himself as AJ plays with her hair as the crowd's rage continues.*



[Cole]  So first things first.  AJ, last week you suffered your first defeat in a while when Melina pinned you in a triple threat match-up that also involved Eve Torres.  This can't be good for your title aspirations we hear about every week.  Where do you go from here?



[AJ Lee]  Where do I go from here?  I think that's pretty obvious Michael.  I go straight to the top where I belong.  You think that a loss will stop me?  Nobody's perfect.  You can't win them all.  A loss just makes me more determined to prove that I am the best because I know that Melina isn't better than me.  Neither is Eve or anybody else back there in that locker room.  The glass ceiling hasn't changed from one loss.  It's still there, taunting me.  I just can't wait to smash it into a million pieces.



[AJ Lee]  The Divas Championship is upset that I lost but that's okay.  I have plenty of time to make it up to it.  The title still loves me and I love it.  Our bond can't be broken.  I can still hear it crying out for me at night, and sooner or later I'll make it happy again by bringing it home where it belongs...  

*AJ tilts her head and appears to go off into some kind of daydream as a loving expression comes over her face.*



[Cole] And what do you have to say about Paige?  She hasn't been seen around here since your unprovoked attack a few weeks ago...



*AJ's expression drastically changes and she fires daggers in Cole's direction with a stare that could kill.  She  becomes snappy in her reply.*

[AJ Lee]  What about Paige?  Who cares about that fake.  I'm the true Anti-Diva.  It's my goal to redefine the word Diva because I'm so sick and I'm so tired of what women's wrestling has become.  I shouldn't have to flash my skin or dance around looking all nice and pretty to make it in this business.  I don't want to appear on some lame reality TV show or suck up to the right people to get anywhere.  Paige says she's different but shes just the same as everybody else.  She's a fake.  And I'm making it official right now.  If Paige can even make it to The Monster Bash, we're going to have a match where I fulfill my promise to make her the first "Diva" to fall.

[Cole]  Wow!  Well there we have it folks!  At The Monster Bash it will be AJ going one-on-one against Paige!

*Suddenly from out of nowhere AJ is attacked from behind.  She falls to the canvas in a heap as PAIGE begins her assault like something possessed!  The crowd goes insane as the catfight continues.  Cole becomes visibly afraid of getting hurt or caught in the crossfire and makes a swift exit, moving faster than he ever has before.  Paige pounds AJ's head into the canvas over and over again, just like AJ did her on the concrete a few weeks back before stopping her attack for a moment to let out her trademark primal scream.  The crowd are in a frenzy and begin to chant Paige's name as she rises to her feet.  AJ is unconscious at this point, sprawled out on the canvas.

[Paige]  See you at The Monster Bash.

*Paige throws the mic down hard into the gut of AJ before beginning her exit under a wave of "Paige!" chants. Some staff at hand at ringside enter the ring and try to wake up AJ but to no luck, instead they slowly slide her out of the ring and take her backstage.

[Cole]: While AJ is helped to the back I want to let you all know something, all of your tweets, messages and endless crusading to get AJ Styles rehired is a waste of your time. The man was fired for a reason and if there was the slightest chance that he would somehow make it back into this company it wouldn't be by your doing. It would be because of the people who make this place run, the beloved management team and they are not interested. While you believe you are doing some good, all you are achieving is tarnishing what little credibility AJ already had and making him a joke. Thank you...
