What's your favorite thing about XWL?

The community, Online leagues are a simple premise, have matches, cut promos and post results. But actually getting it all done is a different matter and this league is the best out there. The community are a great (weird ass) bunch of people and everyone was friendly and helpful from the get-go making the whole experience fun and not tedious.

What's your least favorite?

When you get put against people who don't bother to contact you, or never reply when you contact them. People who never post/promo or do matches yet hold onto higher profile superstars are also annoying because it forces the new guys who actually want to be a part of the league to pick people they might not wanna use.

What should be done to improve the show?

The show as a whole right now is perfectly fine, maybe just add some more of those commentary promos where they run over the promos and matches so far, could be a nice way to disguise reviews as part of the show.

What's your opinion on a draft?

I would love a draft tbh, could really spice things up if pulled off well. The only problem would be the chances of fueding with someone you wanted to fued with would be decreased if they are on a different brand, not a huge problem exactly, just throwing it out there.

Do you believe XWL should have two separate shows? If yes, given the large roster, would you prefer brands or a second show?

I would like two shows on the condition that they are two different brands, it would give newer people a chance at titles and being noticed in rivalry's. Also brand specific ppv's and brand vs brand matches would be amazing and a nice way to start new storylines.

Do you prefer being booked as one main person or all of your superstars/Diva?

2/3 is usually good for me, one is fine but since i have two fueds going i prefer two and in my experience when you have three, the third rarely gets done.

Are you willing to suggest ideas to help the show grow as a whole?

Don't really get what this question is asking? isn't that what i'm doing with the rest of the survey?, unless it means if i was asked myself would i give ideas, then yeah.

If implemented would you welcome the idea of a tag division in the distant future?

Yes, i would love a tag division, everybody knows the problems and complications that come with tag matches but if everyone pulled their weight it could be awesome.

Absolutely.

I think so, i've actually recieved some stick from E/T and Kyle in the past for being too "jumpy" in tag matches but as seen week in week out on wrestling shows, tag teams are all about working as one to win the match, obviously some rules will have to be sorted out to make it fun and not annoying.

Would you like a weekly review, complete with awards done each week?

One of the things i really want in this league is a weekly review, it lets people know where they went wrong and what they done right, you can't be expected to improve on promos or in matches when nobody is telling you how you are doing. Awards would also keep it fun and fresh, it would give people something to work towards, a little extra motivation when writing their promo.

If so what type of awards would you like to be considered?

Superstar of the week, Tag team of the week(given that the tag division is introduced), Promo of the week, quote of the week (certain line from promos), Faily award( biggest fail of the week whether it be a promo or an in-match fail), surprise of the show and fued of the week maybe?

What's your favorite thing about XWL?

- The fair matches, consistent and always top notch quality promos (save a few), kick ass community and lack of drama.

What's your least favorite?

- Not being able to join in on the fun because I have school work. >

What should be done to improve the show?

- Moar TS1

- Of course.

What's your opinion on a draft?

- Very very iffy. I've been in two leagues that have attempted this and both fall flat. There's too many variables going into that to honestly say I would be comfortable with executing such an idea. Take this into account. You can't make everyone happy, but XWL is currently doing a damn good job of getting as close as one can with that goal, a dramatic change like brands could only slightly benefit or greatly harm the league.

- I would prefer brands over a second show, even given my opinion on drafts. A second show sounds like it's just kinda doomed to fail while brands at least sounds like it has SOME chance of success.

- I like having at least two of my characters booked whenever I'm not swamped with school work.

- Didn't you just ask me this? Yes I said.

- Of course. I love the idea of a tag team division. Now with XWL being so active, I think sooner rather then later would be the most effective time to do so as well. Unlike the brands, you have so much more to gain from this then you have to lose.

If so are you willing to give it 100% when being booked in a tag match?

- I suppose? I honestly say I give 100% (whatever my "100%" is that day, because it's become a very on and off thing for me lol) no matter what the match is. I think most people do, especially since the tag team division is optional and whoever signs up for it probably signed up for a reason, and that's to try their best and have the most fun with it as possible. I think people are mostly turned off by tag matches because even the best users have the tendency of breaking the rules just to end the match sooner.

Also with tag teams, should tag team rules be made to keep matches fun?

- Without a doubt. The rules are going to either be stricter or more bendable because I've seen great players do pretty dirty things in a tag match just to end it. I think rules dealing with the person on the apron is very important.

Would you like a weekly review, complete with awards done each week?

- Without a doubt. This sounds great.

If so what type of awards would you like to be considered?

- I think a "Match of the night" "Promo of the night" and "Memorable moments" every week is good enough. Then have maybe a monthly thing similar to the weekly shows but with more awards, that way people can get recognized for their hard-work and eventually, when the yearly "Slammys" thing XWL has comes around in November, you have something to work off of and keep track of who really deserves so and so award.

I think the shows are fine at the moment, aside from the fact that it's so stacked that it's too much to review. But that's more of a good complaint.

Yeah.

What's your opinion on a draft?
It could work seeing as with most people being two male characters, one could go on each show. The shows wouldn't be as much of a burdon to review because it would be lightened with a lessened amount of people on each show, but still good shows. The main worry would be people giving the same effort as whoever they are, and not just one character.

All of my three characters are my main characters, if I wanted to focus one of my characters more then I might as well drop the other so someone else could get him, who would give the full effort.

I'd welcome it as long as people still promo'd as a team.

Yessir. Reviews are crucial, if you do a promo that you really liked and no-one comments on it you can't help but feel like it wasn't that good, but maybe that's just me. If people started reviewing more it'd help a lot.

Match of the week, Superstar of the week, Champion of the week, Diva of the week, Moment of the week, Promo of the week, Member of the week (For putting in the most effort etc)

What's your favorite thing about XWL?

The quality of segments, mainly because it motivates me to improve my own segments, and also it makes for interesting reading's every week.

What's your least favorite?

Facing the same people..over.. and over... again.

What should be done to improve the show?

To be honest, don't see much flaws with the shows as a whole.

Of course.

What's your opinion on a draft?

It would be interesting, but there's going to come a time when you might end up facing the same people since each draft will have half of the complete roster. I don't know. It's something that has to play out for me to give a verdict on it.

Brands, mainly because a second show with the same roster seem's kind of redundant. At least that's why I'm getting at when you say a second show. Just seem's like more work.

Well, due to me owning another league, and also being close to earning my degree I would definitely prefer not being booked with all of my people every single week. Most of the time the matches themselves are not time consuming, but yeah my focus is usually on segments rather than matches, so it would help to not have to worry about getting a match done so I can focus on a certain segment, but that's just me

Yeah, sure.

Yeah.. in the distant future. It all comes to dedication to be on a team, and its easy to say you want to form a team, but most of the time team's don't last long due to many factors like life issues, or just not being as active as your other partner.

I am. Not sure about the rest though.

Of course. Like a certain number of hot tags per team. Not being able to taunt when you're not the legal guy. Of course when you're not on the apron, but on the outside mat. Mainly because it's kind of cheap that your teammate gets momentum even if he's on the receiving end of damage. Just my 2 cents on the matter.

Yeah, that will make this into a sort of friendly competition to get a certain reward. It will motivate the quality of segments-match write-up's I believe.

Segment of the week. Match of the week. Hard worker of the week. Champ of the week, and maybe some negative awards.... If you want to call them that.

Quality of the shows, especially the feud qualities.

I see it mentioned in a question later. But yeah lack of reviews or feedback. I mean u do a match or a promo and there is only a handful of peeps who give feedback. But shows r stacked so reviews r hard to do.

Totally agree with Adam bout the shows r great but being stacked making it hard to review and i wud love to have time to do a full review.

Definitely always on hand for suggestions etc

ok so i added this part but i wanted to say a few things. I have only been here a short while and i glad I've joined great atmosphere about the place i have had nothing but fun matches and i have enjoyed promoing.

Ok to an idea mine. Most of you watch or have at least heard of ring of honor and well they do a weekly Videowire. Search on YouTube if you want an example. Well i have promo'd like this before but i think if we had a separate section where a videowire is posted all at once by people who want to participate airing there views on there matches here, upcoming matches, feuds etc etc. I would be willing to do this if it was an idea people would like to see tell me wot u think??

God no. Never, In my opinion. Seen in happen in 2 other leagues before and it's never worked out. I think it leaves less people for stuff like feuds too.

Two shows would be too much for such a big roster, it'd require so much more work. I'd say that people should just be used more in the single show.

What's your favorite thing about XWL?

By far the friendly atmosphere and the fact that people are so accomodating for the most part, when it comes to getting things done. A league wouldn't be where it's at if it wasn't for the talent. & for us to be around for almost three years now with veteran members included, that means a lot to me. Especially given the fact that I was an outsider at first before becoming co-owner.

What's your least favorite?

As contradicting as this may be, it would have to be the in-ability to get your matches done. Yes, for the most part ever since the switch, the show gets it's matches done. However, there's always a select few, for whatever reason that don't get there things done. Which, to me is a bit disappointing because it's not only new talent which, is a bit expected but, it's the vets too sometimes. The one reason I have to list this as my big problem, is because of the fact that we have a rule that if you let us know before th weeks up, then the match won't count against you or, a replacement will be found. The problem is, nobody ever gets in contact with myself or David to let us know. We have PM and Msn for a reason guys.. come on now..

What should be done to improve the show?

As a whole, the show itself is great. We're already working on bringing in new things to improve the show. Overall, if I had to suggest anything at all, it's that I would like the cards to be more user-friendly. Yes, we ask for thoughts and opinions on things but, not enough. We're always looking to expand the league but, I think it's time we look to you for that.

In addition and this is more of a gripe for me but, I believe people need to take a few minutes to give thoughts on promos, when they're posted. Maybe not immediately done but I do believe that the majority of people who are active, put their hearts () into being there character and would love feedback. Especially, because some people are hard to promo as, so for them to not get feedback doesn't help them stay into the characters.

Already do, I'm the co-owner and have been for almost three years now for a reason

What's your opinion on a draft?

I haven't been in a league until I stepped foot in XWL but, I have been in ISB which does their form of a draft and for the most part, it works really well. It just takes a lot of work from the superstars but, mainly the GM's themselves. As I can be the first to tell you that GMing a show is difficult. However, we haven't been around this long for nothing, I believe that a draft could do wonders for XWL.

Brands but, think of it as an enhanced second show. Because really, they're one in the same. Each brand should function like Raw/SD ie having their own GM and their own title or titles if we eventually get more. While just having a show is fine, I believe having brands is better because that could expand to so many things. Feuds, matches themselves, even a special ppv or something. Brands take a lot more work than just a show like Indescretion but, if the effort is put in from the talent, I believe the GM's will do wonders with the shows.

To be completely honest? I'm one of those that love to be booked as every single person I have, anytime I can be. The thing that throws me off most of the time, is the lack of communication between people in order for things to get done. With that and my schedule, sometimes it's hard to find time to do promo's yes but, I'll almost always at least get my matches done that week. Which, is saying something since you don't exactly HAVE to be booked as all three or even both superstars one week.

Already done and been doing that for a few years now, what's another couple amirite

Even though I've had a lot of bad experience both just playing for fun, and in real matches I suppose I'd welcome it I guess. Only if I knew the matches would stay fair, fun and most importantly, get done before the deadline as more than a two person match, is hard to plan.

Yes, and I think tag team rules should've been made ages ago. As this isn't disrespecting anyone but, I've been in quite a few tag matches where I've had issues and I just wanna up and leave the match. Whether it's the people I'm facing, or my partner. I think if rules were put in place, although a bit harsh maybe, it would hopefully bring the fun back to the matches. As that's what this league is about, fun.

Considering I'm gonna be the one to do them, yeah lol.

Match of the night, Promo of the night, OMG moment of the night/week, Feud of the month, superstar of the night/month, fail of the week etc. I saw a lot of better suggestions from people before working on this lol.

What's your favorite thing about XWL?

For me it's a three way tie. I love the fair, fun and friendly matches that almost everyone can have, but then I love the community and how active it has become as a whole, and also the amazing rivalries that always seem to stick around just makes me as a league owner one happy camper.

What's your least favorite?

My number one thing are small things that occur in some matches...Such as standing there for a few seconds before doing each move, maybe running away from a groggy opponent only to run back at them and grapple...It just doesn't make it fun for me especially if you're watching it. I realize as a league owner I cannot just say do this do that, don't do this and don't do that. But it would be nice to see less of this. I just get so turned off watching matches and seeing stuff like this happen occasionally. Another thing is some of our newer people not trying to promo...I realize again feuds are easier to promo on but it wouldn't hurt to see a few non feud promos to maybe cause some feuds. Then we have some matches not being done on shows and when I ask why it's always lack of communication. We need more communication between everyone, thats why we have MSN, most of you have computers that you are on to view the site, so downloading MSN isn't that much more of a hassle to be totally honest.


What should be done to improve the show?

The shows as a whole for months and month has been amazing. Since we switched over to a site of our own it's just been so much more active than ever before seen. I can't think of a thing I would change other than one thing I will get into below.

No i'm going to be a totally non-helpful league owner DEAL WITH IT

What's your opinion on a draft?

I'll be the first to admit due to a previous league's failure of executing a crisp draft,roster split I have always been 100% against this. But slowly over the past few months as we've grown as a league, it just feels right. It's such a simple statement but I truly believe if any league can do it, it's us. I don't think I need to remind many of you how XWL came to be. RMS as you know him made a league and I joined it in 2008, it lasted about three weeks before it fell through, and after three more failed attempts Smackdown Vs RAW 2009 was due to be released. Three days after it's release I had been really stressed over what you all pretty much know about and so I wanted to get my mind off it. I took into account what he did wrong all of those times, and almost three years later here we are bigger and better than ever. My plan has always been for any change for me to learn from others mistakes and try my damnedest to to prevent those from occurring in anything I do. I believe as your league owner that I can pull this off, it will take some effort, and help from you all if you're willing to give it...But I honestly believe we can do this.

Brands, I honestly see no point in a second show other than it being for brands because people do need to be mixed with established people and plus if you've got a bunch of new guys all on one thing I can't guarantee everyone in the league would be checking it out. I 100% without a doubt in my mind believe brands can work.

All three usually because I just love focusing on everything that they are involved in.

Of course, i've always been a great supporter of tag-teams, and we've tried to bring this in so many times. But like I said above I learn from my mistakes and if we can get enough active teams we could pull this off.

Of course, I always give it 100% in everything that I do.

Also with tag teams, should tag team rules be made to keep matches fun?

This is a must have to be honest. Tag-team matches can get chaotic without rules because people try to copy real life, or grab too much, or just do unnecessary stuff.

Would you like a weekly review, complete with awards done each week?

I'd like this to be honest because with how busy I already am and many others, I feel terrible that there aren't things like this because so many people put so much effort into their promos and matches and we don't have standard show reviews. But again that is due to the bulk and brands would give you less to view but it would still be a lot

If so what type of awards would you like to be considered?

Everything that has been listed are all great ideas, rivalry of the week, promo of the week, match of the week, perhaps moment of the week? Could have one of the many big moments either match wise or segment wise reflected on.
