*Instead of the stereotypical opening of the show, we see the words "Earlier Today" flash across the screen. Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero are entering the building here in Morgantown and they seem to be having quite the argument.*



[Vickie Guerrero] Wait! No, Dolph, listen to me!

[Dolph Ziggler] No! Save it Vickie, I don't care. I'm supposed to be the top priority around here, you offer Orton a World Title match for beating Joey Ryan, and not me?

[Vickie Guerrero] Look, he didn't even take it! I was just-



[Dolph Ziggler] I'M the one you should be reasoning with, not Orton. If you're going to throw out title shots to everyone else, maybe I should find another brand to be on?

[Vickie Guerrero] ...

*Before Vickie goes to reply, Dolph murmurs "I'm outta here, I've got an X-Treme Champ to beat. He walks off by himself as Vickie stands in frustration with her hands on her head. We then head off to the opening video for Redemption.*





*We change scenes to the packed arena as the camera pans around the fans as they cheer in excitement and raise their signs as high as possible with a hope of getting on TV, the camera turns over to the commentators for the broadcast. Michael Cole and Joey Styles.*

[Michael Cole] Hello, Ladies, Gentlemen and Coleminers alike! My name is Michael Cole alongside Joey Styles and we welcome you to Redemption!

[Joey Styles] We've got some night lined up for you guys, the action will be coming hard and fast on your TV screens tonight with an action packed main event between Joey Ryan and Cody Rhodes!

[Michael Cole] These two have bordered the line of allies in the past but tonight they come to blows, will we see another appearance from Cody Rhodes' masked attacker or will Austin Aries play a role in this match?

[Joey Styles] Well either way, it sure is a Main Event you don't want to miss. And I think Austin Aries is going to have his hands full enough as it is when he squares off with XWL's Sadistic Viper, Randy Orton. He's not a man you ever want to take lightly.

[Michael Cole] Speaking of men you don't want to take lightly, Brock Lesnar is going one on one with the Bionic Redneck; Stone Cold Steve Austin! If you're looking for a knock down drag out brawl that's exactly what you're gonna get when these two face off, with Lesnars will to win and Austins tough never say die attitude that'll be a dark horse for match of the night!

[Joey Styles] And as we saw at the end of the little, err.. "argument" between our General Manager Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler. Dolph is going to face John Morrison tonight, is Dolph fully focused on that match or does he have different things on his mind?

[Michael Cole] Classic, Joey. Just classic..

[Joey Styles] What?

[Michael Cole] Don't try and stir things up between Dolph and Vickie, they'll be fine!

[Joey Styles] How can you be so sure? Dolph even said himself that he might be interested in switching brands!

[Michael Cole] Yeah yeah, let Dolph take his frustrations out on Morrison tonight and THEN we'll see what happens.

[Joey Styles] Whatever you say...

{West Virginia, the site of tonight's episode of XWL Redemption. These fans are sporting their memorabilia proudly, for the greatest organization of professional wrestling we have today. And then a theme song rings out, now, of course, being on Redemption, these fans didn't expect this theme song to play at all... Not a bit. You see, this is a Breakdown superstar, and his name... Is Damien Sandow}



{Sandow emerges from the back, as proud as ever. The fans boo this man, given that in his three months signed with the company, they haven't exactly taken a liking to him. There's several chants aimed at him, but Sandow doesn't care, he's just doing what any enlightened savior would do, try to save the unwashed masses.}



{Damien Sandow holds his arms out as far as he can as he progresses down the ramp, signalling for all the attention to be on him. He walks down the ramp this way, until finally laying his hands to rest.}



{He takes a few looks around the audience, not too much though, until he is now walking down the rest of the ramp. His hands now by his side, he walks up the ramp and steps into the ring. The Redemption audience is very displeased by his appearance, but he doesn't take much notice. In the ring he has now pulled out a microphone, and he appears ready to spout as wisdom as he always is inclined to do.}



[Damien Sandow] Allow me to beg your indulgence, I am the intellectual savior of the unwashed masses, Damien Sandow, and I do not appreciate the utmost rudeness that the majority of the masses have demonstrated thus far tonight towards me. Your proper manners must have been forgotten for the boos which are raining down upon me are in no way of the flattering variety. However, I come here with a different intention, the enlightening of the masses must be put on hold for this moment for this matter is of desperate urgency. Following last week, it has finally come upon me that actions must be performed immediately, this world can not suffice with John Morrison prancing about as a champion for a longer period, and as of this moment, I am officially requesting an X-Treme Championship match at Monster Bash.



[Damien Sandow] You see, I may be an understanding man, but the time has come where John Morrison must pay his debt to society, his ways which are similar to the common ignoramus must finally catch up to him and he finally must forfeit his prized possession to the hands of decency. Through these months I have seen several men unfit for this championship pursue it. Mr. Fn, Sheamus, Sin Cara, Ezekiel Jackson, John Morrison, Mark Henry, and of course, these men are not pursuing this title with the correct state of mind. All the men attempting to win this championship have the same background, they do not wish to replenish a ruined division, yet, they see themselves as a lower tier citizen in this world and thus are thinking themselves to be lowering themselves to a title which they have an equal opportunity to win. But this is very much so incorrect. They are not lowering themselves to this title, for this title is above each and every one of them, and in my possession, the light shall be shed upon them as well.



[Damien Sandow] That false prophets shall cease, and this too is fitting for a Pay Per View named Monster Bash. For it is I, the God-like figure set into this wrestling industry who is going to engage in combat with the Monsters of the dark. These monsters shall put forth their most valiant efforts, attempting to prevail over all of my great efforts to provide for this community a valid champion, but it is in the end which I shall claim to this world that I have conquered evil, the common sins of the day shall recede and my glorious reign shall come upon the days. It is like a prophecy which has become months in the makings, all that has happened has been set to happen from the beginning, and the one missing factor is that of the final match, the moment where I will shed from this world the firm grasp that the ignoramuses possess over them. Morrison's hand shall be lifted, and the comforting hand which will restore everything which we have lost, my very own hand, will be put upon all of society. I am society's one and only true savior.



[Damien Sandow] One moment please. John Morrison, I would now encourage you to come out here, better yet, I am inviting you to come out from your deepened hole in the backstage area, to grace our presence. Enlighten us as to why your way of doing things is much better than that of the enlightened savior, and tell us exactly how you plan about defeating such a superior opponent. I am sure that this crowd is as eager to hear your wise words as I am.







The music of John Morrison begins to play as he comes out in his finest shades and spectacular shirt that could be found on XWL shop for $19.99. He walks down the ramp with a very serious expression.



John steps into the ring still with the serious expression. He's tired of Sandow's mouth and is ready to address him and Sandow's challenge.





[John Morrison]: Damien, you're like a broken record, it's like I can predict every word you're about to say. You're here to save the unwashed masses and replenish this X-Treme division, but when exactly will the saving begin? What have you done in XWL that makes you credible enough to take this division to where it needs to be? Nothing at all. You aren't any different from the Ezekiel Jackson's and Sin Cara's, you couldn't bring legitimacy to this title like I could. Clearly, you are not a man who speaks words of truth and you should rethink your whole shtick. Using fancy words isn't going to earn you a title shot Sandow, no it will not.



[John Morrison]: A man once said, "Championships should only be held by true champions, those who aspire to be the best and who have achieved it through true dedication." Can you guess who said that Sandow? Well, I'll tell you now, you said that and I hate to agree with you, but you said it best. Through hard work and just outshining everyone I've had a match with, I've shown that I am the best and I've worked towards earning this title. I can't even fathom why you would even get another title shot. You clearly are contradicting your words right now because a man who walks out on a title opportunity surely isn't showing true dedication, which is a characteristic of what a true champion should have.



[John Morrison]: You've called me out now and I've answered the call. Now I ask you this question, why should you get the title shot against me in 2 weeks at The Monster Bash? Are you even worthy enough to hold the X-Treme Championship? Prove to me right now why I should agree to this match, you've already proven that walking out of matches is what you're all about. You've got 2 minutes to state your claim, GO!



[Damien Sandow] Excuse me, but you do not have the authority to limit the knowledge which I spout. My worth in holding the X-Treme title is limitless, thus making it impossible for me to present to you all of the reasons in which I deserve it more so than a man of your caliber. I possess class, decency, I'll show the world everything they're lacking, you are chasing this for your selfish desires. And upon those selfish desires, you have no chance to defeat me as in the case of our first match. My walking out was not an act of cowardice, rather I proved that I possess the capability of defeating you without the mere swing of a weapon. I not once lowered myself to your barbaric level and I demonstrated to the masses what a true X-Treme Champion should. You attempt to use my own words against me, yet this will never be successful for the words of enlightenment can not contradict the words of enlightenment. Indeed, dedication, aspiration, these aforementioned traits are traits I possess, I am dedicated more than you to remove this title from your waist. It is my duty to rid the world of these ignoramuses, and to fulfill it, I must put forth the greatest effort possible, or in other words, I must be dedicated.



[Damien Sandow] You may feel as if you're gaining the advantage over me, but in the truth you're simply making a mockery of yourself. You are demonstrating to this audience how simple minded you truly are, by failing to see the greater picture. This title match is simply not a one on one, nor is it even about me against you. This is the story of a determined man set out on a conquest to abolish the fiendish ways of society, you are none more than a piece of this story line and upon defeat you shall never again be relevant in the story of Damien Sandow's great restoration of the masses. The legitimacy you speak of does not exist, for a man who is pleased to hold his title only out of pity from another is not a man of great pride. I clearly had you defeated, but I allowed you to hold onto your belt, and you take this opportunity to hold your best as if you had done a thing to hold onto it yourself. This is a shameful act. A true champion would have forfeited this belt following such a disgraceful retaining. For you to object to the fact that I deserve the chance to strip you from ruining this championship once more is simply your own attempting of hiding from me.



[Damien Sandow] On contrary to popular belief, you feed into my words, you would love to hear more, this is why you have extended your hand to me in the past. And you know my words to be true, you fear the day we meet again in the ring because you know this to be the dawn of my salvation of the masses. It frightens you that your title may indeed fall into the hands of a man who possesses the capabilities to force the masses to forget about any champion previous to his own reign. John Morrison, you have attempted to provide arguments against me, yet not a single one has succeeded, I have bested you time and time again in and out of this ring. It is because of this you are backed in a corner, I am familiar with human feelings very much so, and in those feelings, you feel you have something to prove, correct? You are not fooling a single being by acting tough and pretending that you are not going to accept this match for in your mind this match provides for you just as much as it provides for me, an even wager. And in your mind, we're an even match. Let me assure you Morrison, we are not even, but if it is this thought that will lead you to accept the match then I encourage you to believe so, but know this, I hold no accountability for any injuries you may suffer at my hands.



[John Morrison]: Here's my problem with you, you believe you are all high and mighty, when in fact you're below the scum of the Earth. You beat around the bush for every question, I asked you why you think you deserve this title shot, not for all the characteristics you possess. How can YOU embody what an X-Treme Champion is supposed to be if you can't go to the extreme? You aren't willing to put your body on the line and put on classic extreme matches. How many times do I have to remind you that when you carry this title, you have a name to live up to. You have to go all out like I do every night and prove to people why you're superior to them.



[John Morrison]: And let's get this straight, this does has something ro do with me. I am not just a piece in your storyline, I am far greater than that, far superior than everyone in this arena. The title that you seek is in my possession so this has everything to do with me. If anything, you are just one small obstacle in my way to the top and I can and will dispose of you with no effort. I have proven time after time that I am champion who is willing to fight and never back down. I will accept your challenge, not because you have persuaded me to, but because I'm going to end this once and for all. You're right, we aren't an even match. In case you haven't noticed, I'm the one holding the championship which speaks for itself. This title means that my skills exceed yours, but you can't seem to get that through your thick skull. This will be a match where I can put this feud to an end. John Morrison will go one-on-one with Damien Sandow, in 2 weeks, at the Monster Bash and I will come out victorious, no doubt.



[John Morrison]: You don't know what you're getting yourself into this time. I'm more fired-up than I've ever been before. The fact that you think you've bested me inside and outside of this ring is laughable. When I go head-to-head with you in that ring, I want you to know that I won't be reluctant to kick your ass at all, and yes I know it sickens you that I have resorted to such language. You've had your chance to just walk away and let me be, but by the end of the PPV, Sandow will be no more.



[Damien Sandow] It amuses me greatly to give witness to a man of your inferior being to attempt to spread about false rumors about myself. You attempt to tell me that my incapability of using weapons will doom my X-Treme title hopes, yet they are just what propelled me to defeat you. I choose not to focus on what a weapon may do for me, but rather what I may do to my opponent, which in return allows me to defeat any man. There is no rule stating that I must use weapons, nor any rule saying that not lowering myself to the class of a common barbarian is a sin. The masses now look upon those men who use weapons as valiant warriors, yet I look upon them in a different light, and soon too, will the masses share my thoughts with me. And on another subject, you claim that you've proved time and time again you're a fighting champion, and you refuse to cower in the face of a challenge. Yet when has this actually occurred?



[Damien Sandow] It is any easy claim to make, and if it was true, it may add some validation in your argument. But allow me to evaluate your reign as X-Treme Champion thus far. First, you return from an injury suffered from your own stupidity, and shortly after, you challenge for the title I have set sights on. You defeat the very man we all wished to have done ourselves, and you claim to have done something miraculous. In reality, any simple man can defeat Ezekiel Jackson, even Curt Hawkins, a man many would now refer to as this class they call a "jobber" has defeated Ezekiel Jackson. And in the following week, we engage each other for the championship. In clear vision, I have you defeated, yet I take mercy for I wish my title win to come at The Monster Bash, and you claim this to be an act of cowardice to shield yourself from any heat you may face that you had truly lost to a man who had refused to use weapons, an embarrassing feat for someone of your being. Following this, you have ridden the world of my former partner, Alberto Del Rio, who I myself planned to take out in the near future, thus having performed my own task for me. And yet you claim you have proven you're a fighting champion time and time again, but when is it that you have truly proven this? I see not one example of this being done, and with one statement with a false nature, I find it hard to believe that your argument is sustainable. It is in two weeks time that I shall take the great pleasure in relieving you of your championship, and thus finally putting to rest the case of John Morrison.



[John Morrison]: It seems like my message isn't getting through to you and now I question if your intelligence is genuine or a just a facade. I never said that you not using weapons will doom your X-Treme title hopes. I did say that by not using weapons, you aren't living up to what the title should stand for therefore you simply couldn't be the champion that this company needs. When people see the X-Treme Champion, they don't want to see a guy who is tame, who thinks that he's above using weapons. They want to see a guy like me, a perfectionist, someone who goes out of his way to set the bar high, someone who can put on matches like no other can. I proved that I'm a fighting champ when I took you and Alberto Del Rio on in a handicap match and demolished ADR. Where is he now? I showed you that night what a true champion looks like and I can't wait to show you one-on-one.



[John Morrison]: Answer this, Sandow. You've been here before I returned. Why isn't it that you didn't save the masses earlier? If any simple man could've beaten Ezekiel Jackson, then why didn't do it? You had way more time to prove yourself and clearly didn't deliver when you needed to. You want to face me so badly to prove a point. I think you secretly worship the very ground I walk on, you aspire to be like me and that's why you need this match so bad. It's stopped being about the title a long time ago, now this feud has gotten personal. I will say no more tonight as I have a match to prepare for. Damien, in two weeks time, nothing will change. The title will still be around my waist and I will put an end to your journey. It's time for me to move on to other challengers and I'm sure everyone in this arena would agree with me.



[Damien Sandow] Very well. If you would like to say no more tonight, then I will allow you to do so, and I will allow you to stand there and listen to all that I say. And in the time that I've been here, allow me to remind you what it was that I had done. I have ridden this world of Santino, Matt Classic, and most recently, through you, Alberto Del Rio. You see, I am not in the same kind as everyone else, these men have failed to return following my attacks on them. I possess power unimaginable and yes, I know it to be true that these fans believe a barbaric X-Treme Champion is what they want, yet through my own knowledge I know it to be true that these fans do not know what they want. And I see you are pretending to not be following in my teachings, or prior to your possession of this title, I pursued Ezekiel Jackson and all of his challengers, prior to your possession, I was occupied with preparing the way for myself as champion. From the beginning, you have only believed what I have wished you to have. You believed by destroying Alberto Del Rio you would send me a message, yet did I even venture a thought towards helping him? I think not.



[Damien Sandow] I led you into performing for me, I possess the intellectual power to do so, just like I have led you into accepting this match with me. I've known from the start of our encounters how to alter your choices to suit my own needs, and it will continue to be done so, for unlike the rest of this wrestling world, I notice the smaller things, your showing when you put your hand out to me, I will not for one second leave that out of my thoughts. Every word you've spoke to me, I remember them all. You admire me, you wish to be me, even following me telling you this, you repeated almost the exact thing back to me, proving my point farther. You wish you had said what I said. You lack the cleverness to come up with the words I do, you are incapable of manipulating me, I am the puppet master at this moment and you are the puppet. You're feeding into my thoughts and I'm in control, I can see through your words, you're trying your best to not show that I'm getting to you, but it's failing to work.



[Damien Sandow] I see through your calm outward expressions, and I see through to the sole of your being. You're afraid, you fear my capabilities, you wish my wise words to cease, yet this doesn't happen. I never stop proclaiming to the fans your faults, or the faults of any man. You're a disgrace, cling to your title with all your being, you have two weeks remaining with it. Heed my warnings as you will, prepare to your fullest, you will need a miracle to defeat me. I am the biggest threat in this entire company, there is not one other man more capable of defeating you than I, and I do not even require weapons to do so. And once I've defeated you, I refuse to acknowledge any rematches you may request for. In my eyes, this match at Monster Bash is your rematch. This is your chance to deem yourself worthy of my presence, for at this moment, you are nothing more than a miscreant. However, I am a merciful man, and once I have taken your championship, I will forgive you for your past transgressions. So it has been said, and so it will be done, you're welcome.



{Sandow smirks as he looks right at Morrison. There is a clear tension in the air, each man has stated their case, each man can't wait for their opportunity to take the title home at The Monster Bash. Sandow never once allows Morrison to leave his eyes as he steps out of the ring. He hops down off the apron and onto the outside, still looking towards Morrison. Each man has everything to prove, is Sandow legitimate? Is he a savior? Or is he just one of the false prophets he claims everyone else to be? And as for John Morrison, is he the perfect X-Treme Champion? Does he possess the hardcore abilities he claims to have? Will he expose Sandow to be an impostor?}



{For now, Morrison simply stares down Sandow. He wants to prove this man wrong, John Morrison wants to show the world what he's capable of. But will he? There's so many questions on the viewers mind, and on each of these men's minds, but which will come out victorious? Of course, for whichever man who loses, there will come disappointment. The loser will have wasted a part of his career focused on a man who he'll have lost to, and not proved a thing to. But the winner... Now the winner, he'll have the victory he's craving right now. He'll have everything, he'll have the title, and he'll be able to say he was right all along. This feud is not just about the title anymore, it's a way of life. These two men are very different, they each have varying opinions, and they want to fight on behalf of their thoughts. These men will do battle, and in the end, there can only be one.}

Dolph Ziggler Vs John Morrison

Chavo’s theme hits to the delight if the fans who were robbed of their contract signing when Michael McGillicutty was nowhere to be found. They spent an entire week waiting to see if the Intercontinental Championship match would happen, but it looks as if now they’ll get their answer. The watch as Chavo makes his way down the ramp and cheer when he slaps a few high fives before getting to ringside and stepping through the ropes. Chavo takes a few moments to let things die down before he gets to business.



Chavo Guerrero
As I’m sure you all already know, last week instead of coming out here and accepting the fact that his days as champion are over, Michael McGillicutty instead insisted of running away with his tail between his legs. And I’m sure he’s got some amazing story about why he couldn’t make it, and I’m sure that it’s a load of crap. After putting on such a brave face and saying ‘Oh Chavo I can’t wait to end your career,’ it turns out that the big bad McGillicutty was afraid that he couldn’t back up what he said. But you see, I’m a man of second chances and tonight McGillicutty has a chance to set things straight tonight. After our discussion last week, Eve was more than willing to whip up a fresh copy of the contract and got her to add in a nice little detail that I thought Mike would love: If he doesn’t show up tonight and sign this contract, then I’ll walk into Monster’s Bash as Intercontinental Champion.

The people cheer at McGillicutty possibly being stripped of the title, and it takes a while for them to calm down so Chavo can speak again.



Chavo Guerrero
Yes I know, I know. Thank you, I understand that that kind of generosity and kindness but please hold the applause. What I did was give McGillicutty a way out, think of it like an offer he can’t refuse. Now this way he can stay home, lose the title and avoid fighting me which at the same time means he’ll avoid getting shamed in front of all of you. It means that my three year journey will come to a satisfying conclusion without me having to break a sweat to achieve it. So here’s what I do, we have this nice table, two comfortable chairs and even a nice platter of cookies I got Eve to whip up, I’ll sit out here and relax and give the champ five minutes to decide whether or not he’ll accept my tempting offer.

Chavo takes a seat and puts his legs up on the table as he takes a bite out of what looks to be an absolutely delectable cookie. It’s in a perfect circle and the chocolate is just oozing out of it and Chavo barely has to bite down showing how soft and chewy this masterpiece of baking is. Chavo takes a deep breath as the deliciousness of the cookie just overtakes him and he can’t even take another bite for fear of the flavor overwhelming him, but he takes the next bite and you can hear him moan as he takes his time chewing before taking a nice slow swallow. Chavo reaches for another cookie and then he…



The theme of the reigning Intercontinental Champion begins to play as the crowd shows their appreciation, or lack thereof, for the third generation superstar. Michael walks out from behind the curtain and onto the stage where he sees Chavo reaching for another cookie before pulling his arm back as a smirk appears on his face. He raises his Intercontinental Championship high into the air, almost taunting Chavo, before lowering it back down to his side and begins his descent down the entrance ramp. Michael walks to the ring with a purpose as Chavo keeps shifting his focus from McGillicutty to the Intercontinental Championship every few seconds. Michael scales the ring steps and stands on the apron, staring down Chavo, who reaches for another cookie before taking a bite out of it, showing how much he cares about Michael's threats. For the first time in nearly seven months, both men will be in the same ring, with nothing to stop them from brutalizing one another. Michael steps through the ropes before grabbing the mic from the table and raises it to speak. No words come out as he just looks at Chavo, who is really enjoying the cookies, then almost instantly, Michael slaps the tray off the table and begins to stomp the cookies that are now scattered on the mat.



{McGillicutty}
Do you think this is a joke? This isn't a game, Chavo, you're gambling way more that you think you are. Your arrogant pride lead to your downfall once before and it will lead to your downfall once again. You thought I was a joke and I made you pay for your mistake, now here we are, seven months later, and you're still making the same mistake you made then. Chavo, when will you learn, I am far superior to you in every way, I am faster than you, I am smarter than you, I am stronger than you, the only thing you are better than me at is being ignorant. Your pride refuses to see me for the threat I really am. As for that little stipulation you added to the contract, it backfired. I know you used it as a way to lure me out here and quite frankly, that's not what forced me out here, I have come to terms with the fact that if I don't put an end to this... this hate between us, it will affect me in the long run.



{McGillicutty}
It really shouldn't come as a surprise to me, how you managed to arrange this whole thing that is. You used your last name to get something you don't deserve, classic Guerrero, is it not? Chavo, I hope you know what you're getting yourself into, you and I have faced off in this ring before and it didn't end well for you. The moment you sign that contract will be the same moment you seal your fate. I will be forced to finish what I started all those months ago. This little storybook tale known as your career will cease to exist. The story of Chavo Guerrero, the story of a man who made it to this company through determination, through countless hours of training, and not without the help of his aunt, the story that started as a mans rise to the top will end as a tragedy. From what I can tell, it's not a very good story. This is what caught my attention though, the final chapter, your last stand. At The Monster Bash, should you be foolish enough to sign that contract, you will step into this ring with the same man who ended your career once before. While your story reaches its final page, mine will start a new chapter where I become World Heavyweight Champion and there's not a damn thing anybody can do about it.

Chavo takes his eyes off of McGillicutty and then stares longingly at the cookies on the floor as thoughts of what could have been run through his mind. After McGillicutty slams his hand on the table Chavo snaps back to focus,



Chavo Guerrero
Hey Mike, remember the last time you thought that no one could stop you from becoming World Champ? How’d that work out for you? You gotta understand Mike, I do these little things to prove a point: A point that you’re not as invincible or unstoppable as you’ve foolishly thought you were for all this time. You want to look down on me for using my connections to get the match I want? Well that’s funny because I remember you forcing yourself on Eve so that she’d be more than willing to hand you the title that rests oh so comfortably around your waist. So you could say that I was forced to fight fire with fire, and you better believe that my fire is a lot hotter than yours has been or ever will be. Some would say it’s as hot as the sun, or as hot as your temper when you fail… which is quite often from what I understand.

Chavo takes his feet off the table then gets out of his chair. He begins to pace back and forth in the ring.

And you shouldn’t sell yourself short, big guy, because you better believe that I do see you as a threat. You’ve been threatening to run away from this match for weeks now, for starters, and let’s not forget that you’re threatening to have the worst Intercontinental Championship reign in recent memory. I’m only here to end that threat, Mike, because the people don’t need… they don’t deserve to go through another week with you as their champion. Unfortunately they’re going to have to wait another week or so until that match happens, but it’s not as bad as me waiting three years for this moment. Three years clawing and scratching and now that I’m back where I belong you better believe that I’m not letting this opportunity slip through my fingers again. Consider your reign over, McGillicutty, and consider yourself finished.



{McGillicutty}
Your bark has always been bigger than your bite, Chavo, and if truly believe the crap that comes out of your mouth, then this match is already over before it has even begun. You keep saying that you waited for three years to get your rematch, three years for this moment. Trust me when I say, you're going to have to wait three more before you can claim this championship because I refuse to let you win and as long as there is a breath in my body, you won't take this away from me. I can see it in your eyes, Chavo, the fire that once burned within you has been extinguished, the passion you once had is long gone, and at The Monster Bash, I'm putting you out of you misery, then I shift my attention to claiming what should have been rightfully mine, the World Heavyweight Championship.

So I won’t get a shot as long as there’s a breath in your body? Heh, you’re better off not tempting a man when you’re not sure how far he’s really willing to go. You don’t know what I’ve been through and you damn sure don’t know what I’m willing to put myself through to get that championship. But here’s a hint, I’d much much rather neither of us walk out as champion than just you. But it won’t come to that, have no fear, because I’m confident that I will be the new champion and there’s nothing you can do about that.



{McGillicutty}
You're confident? Good. It'll make the moment that much sweeter when I not only destroy you physically, but mentally as well. Do what you want in the match, trust me, it won't be enough to keep me down. Throw me off the stage, put me through the announcers table, do what ever it takes to pin my shoulders to the mat and I guarantee it won't work. This isn't the same person that ended your career, I have evolved into the man you see before you. Chavo, enjoy these final moments of walking under your own power because if you go through with this, I will not hold back, nor will I hesitate to end your career yet again. Think long and hard about your decision, think about what your family will have to go through when they realize that what they thought you were was all a lie. Think about your kids Chavo, how do you think they would feel if they see their father finally get a shot at a championship that has eluded him for three years, only to fall flat on his face?

I think it’s safe to say we’ve done enough talking right about now.

Chavo then leans over the table and signs the contract in a few places then places the pen down emphatically on the table. Chavo takes a step back then says a few more words before crossing is arms and seeing if McGillicutty will follow suit.

Let’s see if you’re man enough to sign this contract, get into the ring with me and attempt to back up everything you’ve promised you’d do.

McGillicutty grins as he signs the contract to without hesitation and then he grins as he raises the mic to his mouth.

{McGillicutty}
Thank you, Chavo. Thank you for proving once and for all just how stupid you are. That wasn’t the real contract you just signed, that was a little something I had Eve whip up to switch with the old contract and this one states that as long as I am the champ you’ll never get a shot at this title.

The people begin to boo when McGillicutty reveals the switcheroo, but Chavo doesn’t seem bothered at all.

About that, I actually already had Vickie make this title match official so it doesn’t matter which contract is signed they’re both null and void. I just did all of this so I could get you out here and…

WHAM!

Chavo drives his microphone right into McGillicutty’s face!

But the big man remains on his feet and after a furious trading of punches McGillicutty begins getting the best of Chavo and before you know it he slams Chavo through the table with a huge fisherman’s suplex! Chavo immediately rolls out of the ring but McGillicutty is right behind him. McGillicutty takes Chavo by the back of the head and throws him into the barricade! McGillicutty takes a few steps back and then charges forward only to miss his big boot as Chavo ducks out of harm’s way! McGillicutty reaches for his groin as he finds himself straddling the barricade until Chavo helps him out by connecting with a dropkick that knocks McGillicutty onto the fan’s side of the barricade. Chavo hops over and the two men begin brawling right there in the crowd!

Drinks get spilt!

Signs get torn!

Glasses are knocked off faces!

Nobody is safe where! Where is the security? Why is no one stopping this? A woman gets shoved down, a man gets elbowed in the face so many people are getting hurt while Chavo and McGillicutty fight and these two heated rivals don’t seem to care. All they want is to keep pounding the living daylights out of each other until one of them stops moving.

EXCUSE ME! STOP IT RIGHT NOW! I SAID EXCUSE ME!

But they don’t stop, in fact the threat of their fight being ended soon only makes McGillicutty and Chavo throw harder punches and stiffer kicks. Finally security makes their way onto the scene and it takes a ton of effort but they’re finally able to separate these two men.

You break that very expensive table and then you put the people in danger? This is not the type of show Redemption is and to make it very clear that this type of behavior will NOT be tolerated, both of you are banned from Redemption starting right now and until after Monster’s Bash!

The camera cuts to McGillicutty and Chavo who don’t seem to care, they’re too busy staring down each other and seeing how much damage they did. McGillicutty has a busted lip while Chavo’s brand new dress shirt is ripped and ruined. They shout out some insults to each other while they’re hauled away by an army of security guards. When they’re out of camera view the camera cuts back to Vickie who is shaking her head.

*As Redemption continues, the camera begins rolling backstage as Shawn Michaels is walking backstage with a purpose*

Michael Cole: Look at this Joey! It's Shawn Michaels! The newest member of the Redemption roster, and I've got to say it's just great to see Michaels back home where he belongs!

Joey Styles: It doesn't go far to say just how big of a steal this could be for Redemption! Like him or not Shawn Michaels is a big time player in XWL.

Michael Cole: And how can't you like him? Just look at everything he's done this year alone, Shawn Michaels in my opinion the greatest superstar alive today! And as his best friend you can take my word for that.

*Shawn pulls a backstage worker aside and says something to him not heard on camera then the worker points Shawn into a direction which Shawn begins to follow his directions*

Joey Styles: His best friend? Are we going to get started that that again, Cole?

Michael Cole: Oh look at you, it's been months since Shawn's been on Redemption, and you're still jealous of our friendship. Why don't you grow up!

Joey Styles: Why don't I grow? I'm not the one running around telling the world about who I'm friends with.

Michael Cole: That's because you spend all day on XWL.com, you don't have any friends.

*As HBK continues to walk, Redemption heads to a commercial break*



*As Redemption returns from the break Shawn Michaels theme begins to play through the PA system and the members in the audience stand on their feet and cheer for the Heartbreak Kid*



*When Shawn runs out onto the stage the crowd cheer again as Shawn runs over to one side of the side and gazes out into the crowd, before running over to the other side of the stage and doing the same*



Michael Cole: And we're back live with XWL Redemption coming to you straight from Morgantown and this is the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels!

Joey Styles: And he can tell just by the reaction he's receiving right now that the fans are well and truly behind Michaels after he's seemingly turned a new page, and in doing so has found his way back to Redemption.

*As Shawn walks down the ramp he high fives several fans on the right side of the ramp then about half way down, he stands in the middle of the ramp before dropping down to his knees and raising his arms into the air as a gesture to god as pyro goes off behind him from left to right and right to left, then Shawn hops back up to his feet*



Michael Cole: I've got to tell you Joey, I was shocked when I found out that Shawn was going to be leaving Breakdown, up until recently Michaels had been in unstoppable form, but ever since to gave up the United States championship, things have been getting worse with every week for him.

Joey Styles: They say you don't know who you really are until you're at your lowest point and from what I can tell a few weeks ago Shawn has rediscovered his old self.

*Reaching ringside Shawn hops up onto the ring apron and shake his hair behind his head then enters the ring spinning around with his arms spread out wide, jumping over to the middle of the ring then kneels over and performs his signature pose for a few seconds as the crowd cheer him again*



Michael Cole: I couldn't believe it Joey, one minute he was on top of the world and the next...

Joey Styles: Maybe this is a good thing for him Cole, with a new perspective on life...

*Shawn walks over to the side of the ring closet to the announcers table, then as the announcer hands him a microphone he walks back over to the middle to the of the ring*



Michael Cole: Oh like you'd know what's best for him? You're not his friend!

*As Michaels' theme fades out the crowd begin to chant "Welcome back" in response to his return to Redemption and Shawn nods in approval*



Shawn Michaels: Morgantown! Thank you so much for the warm ovation, but quite frankly I haven't been living up to my own high standards as of late. Heck I sold my soul to the devil himself and gave up my United States championship for a shot at the XWL championship at Eye for an Eye, and as you can tell I came up just a little short. And yet you people... the fans have stood by me, you've cheered for me and chanted y name when given the things I've done this past year, I probably don't deserve it.

*The crowd begin to chant "HBK, HBK, HBK" and Shawn waits for the chants to die down before talking again*



Shawn Michaels: No, no, please this is important, let me finish. I... I've done some pretty bad things this year, I've cheated my way to victory over victory, I've said just a few things that weren't quite so nice, and well I've just been a bit of a bad egg in general. So I just wanted to say, from the bottom of my heart...

*Shawn goes to speak, but then hesitates and turns away from the camera with his head down for a few seconds before turning back around and he hesitantly begins speaks*

Shawn Michaels: Thank you.

*As he thanks the fans, the crowd in attendance applaud Shawn's humbleness in acknowledging the fans*



Shawn Michaels: From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for believing in me, thank you for giving me yet another second chance. A second chance that I don't really deserve, and well let's not pretend I've had my fair share of them too, but I swear to you this time is different. Every single time I step through that curtain I will continue to work my butt off week in week out and do what I do best! And that's putting on the very best show possible for each and everyone of you! Now I never claimed to be perfect... well actually that's a different conversation all together, but the bottom line is guys, no matter what I've done or what I will do, knowing you guys have my support just goes to show...

*Shawn pauses again with a cheeky smile on his face*

*The second Shawn calls the fans stupid the crowd begin to boo ferociously*



Shawn Michaels: I can't believe you nimrods fell for it, AGAIN! It just goes to show no matter what I do, you people want nothing more than to cheer for ME! It goes to show that the second, the very second! That I decide to appeal to your simpleton ways that you're all willing to finally accept the oh so blatant truth, that I am the very best! In this business today. Let me remind you I'm this way because you people begged me to be the old Shawn Michaels. You begged and pleaded for this to happen and the second it did you turned your backs on me! I don't need your approval, and I never did! And to tell the truth I've always been better off without it. I gave you everything you people thought you wanted and don't go blaming me because you didn't quite know what you were asking for! Then I turn around and decide to be that "boring Shawn Michaels that nobody wants to see" and you have the audacity to cheer me? You asked for me, I sure as hell didn't ask for you and I don't need you, but you sure as hell need me. You people make me sick, don't let my door hit you on your keister on the way out!

It's no surprise that ever since I got drafted to Breakdown that this show's rating have plummeted to the depths it was on before I arrived here to begin with! And you people validated that when the second I started kissing your ugly babies and hugging the fat girls in the front row, that I am just that! You proved for a fact that I am the MAN! And you know what? I bet I'd make each and everyone of you hicks to fall for it all over again.

*The fans begin to chant "Asshole, asshole" directed at Shawn, who just chuckles and shrugs it off waiting for the noise to die down a bit before talking yet again*

Shawn Michaels: And now that, that's out of the way. On to more pressing matters, and that of course being what's next for the old HBKid? *As he says his own name Shawn holds his free hand above his head*

*Shawn then lowers his hand down to about waist height to the disapproval of the crowd*



Shawn Michaels: No, it's ok, don't worry I won't be gone, I'll still be around, I'll make sure you get your weekly HBK fixings. After all where would you be if it wasn't for your favourite bad guy? I am the longest reigning Intercontinental and United States champion in XWL history, and a superstar like me... not that anybody else even compares to me. But the fact remains that the Heartbreak Kid flat out refuses to be overlooked anymore. The Heartbreak Kid refuses to have to lower myself to get what's rightfully mine and that being an honest chance. An honest chance at rewriting history as the NEXT World Heavyweight champion! *Shawn raises his arms above his head and looks into the camera as he crotch chops to the crowd*

Joey Styles: Somehow Cole, I actually agree with you, I can't believe I let him fool me like that.

*Shawn exits the ring and begins to walk up the ramp*

Michael Cole: Don't feel bad Styles, you're only as stupid as everyone in the crowd tonight!

*As Cole finishes talking the camera's slowly fade out to black ending the segment*

The XWL cameras head backstage where the X-Treme Champion, John Morrison, is standing by with Josh Matthews.

[Josh Matthews]: Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here with your XWL X-Treme Champion, John Morrison, who just suffered a loss at the hands of Dolph Ziggler. May I get your thoughts on the match?

[John Morrison]: Well, it's not everyday where you get to see your X-Treme Champion on the losing end of matches and I'll admit I wasn't too pleased with the loss. You see, while I might respect Dolph Ziggler as a fellow XWL wrestlers, there is no doubt in my mind that I should of came out of the match with my hand raised in the air as I am the better man and doesn't the saying go "May the better man win". Clearly, that didn't apply tonight.

[Josh Matthews]: Would you say that your loss has something to do with Damien Sandow getting in your head?

[John Morrison]: Let me correct you foolish one. Damien hasn't even phased me one bit. Did he get in my head? No. But what he did do is make me want to beat the living hell out of him and teach him a lesson. I've almost been X-Treme for one month in what will be a lifetime, we're only one month into the Era of Morrison, so we're just getting things started. If anything, I'm the one who has gotten to Sandow's head, I'm the one who he striving to be now, he's trying to do what I'm doing and that's replenish this division back to it's normal state and then take it to levels it has never ever reached. You feel me Josh?

[Josh Matthews]: I see where you're coming from. But back to the match, did you think you were going to get the win when Shelley showed up to support you? You kind of had the numbers on your side.




[John Morrison]: No, I didn't expect to win just because he showed up, he was just there to show support. You know Josh, Shelley and I, we share a mutual respect for each other. We see that we can take each other to places we haven't been to before. He's that type of guy that I need to support me.

[Alex Shelley]: Sorry man, I should have been there for you, but it looks like we got our signals crossed. Are you okay?



[John Morrison]: Yeah, it's no big deal man. At least you supported me out there and that's all that counts. Has any progress been made between you, AJ, and Sabin. It must still be stressing you out.

The crowd begin to boo like nuts as the theme of Brock Lesnar rings through the building, the fans wait for around a minute before finally out comes Paul Heyman as he strolls down the ramp to a thunderous round of hatred...

[Joey Styles]
I wonder what Paul Heyman has to say about what transpired last week.

[Michael Cole]
He's going to be livid and you know what? He has every right to be!

[Joey Styles]
Say what you want but Randy Orton did what he had to do.

[Michael Cole]
He put the career of our World Heavyweight Champion in jeopardy!

[Joey Styles]
Joey Ryans a tough guy, I'm sure he'll live...

Paul Heyman slowly climbs the stairs before entering the ring and grabbing a microphone from the side which he raises to his lips...



[Paul Heyman]
Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury, you are all the witnesses of a massive injustice brought upon my client...BRAWK LESHENUR. I am here tonight to speak on his behalf and to let the world know that I am not a happy man, but Brock? He is absolutely furious and let me tell you why, last week our beloved general manager Vickie Guerrero made a huge mistake when she folded under the pressure forced on her by the thug, yes thug that you people know as a mister Randy Orton. Brock Lesnar never agreed to fight Randy Orton at the Monsters Bash and don't get him wrong, he isn't scared to fight Randy Orton at the Monsters Bash...He simply chooses not to because he doesn't give in to peer pressure. The arena rise to their feet in a frenzy as the sound of the Apex predators theme rings through the building, the crowd are going wild but Paul Heyman on the other hand is looking a little more than worried...He can be seen, visibly panicking in the ring as Orton makes his way down the ramp towards him...

[Paul Heyman]
Ra...Randy...Be very careful with what you're doing...

Orton smiles as he continues to walk down the ramp towards the ring

If you so much as lay a finger on me I'll take you for everything you own...

Ortons demeanor takes a nasty turn for Heyman as he begins to walk up the stairs, growling at Paul as he walks along the apron and enters the ring...

Randy Orton jumps to his feet and shakes his entire body as he stomps on the mat, the rage pouring out of him as though it's a weight lifting off of his shoulders before every one in attendance! Orton uses his boot to roll Heyman out of the ring as his body thuds off of the floor below to a massive cheer from the XWL universe...

[Joey Styles]
OH MY GOD! Randy Orton just hit Paul Heyman with an RKO!

[Michael Cole]
This isn't going to end well for Randy Orton. Paul Heyman is not an XWL Superstar! Randy had no right to do that! Is he out of his mind?

[Joey Styles]
I think you know the answer to that Cole...

Orton bends over and picks up Heymans mic that he dropped on the mat



[Randy Orton]
Paul...Paul...Paul. When will you and your client finally realize that I don't give a damn about anything that comes out of your mouth! I have what I want and that's a match at the Monsters Bash. You can lie and lie all you want but I know for a fact that Brock will be there and why? Well there's two reasons, number one, there's a big pay day involved isn't there? You're salivating at the idea of being a headline match on a Pay Per View once again! Reason number two, you can't let your ego take that hit can you? You wouldn't be able to live with the shame of no-showing!



[Randy Orton]
So listen up Brock. Next week when I show up to work I don't wanna have to sit through another little Paul Heyman speech, I'm going to come down to this ring and I'm going to call you out. If you don't come down to the ring? I'll come to the back and find you!

Orton drops the mic as his theme blares through the arena again, he exits through the middle rope, standing over Heymans body as he makes his way back up the ramp and through the curtain as XWL's Redemption goes to the next segment...

Cody Rhodes Vs Joey Ryan

Redemption fades out to last week showing the reaction of Joey Ryan from his match against Randy Orton. Joey claimed this week he was here to make a change…



color=orange]The intensity in the atmosphere changes as Joey Ryan rushes out onto the stage. The crowd begin to boo the Heavyweight Champion as he pulls out some baby oil from his trunks and smothers it over his body. Oozing with charisma and confidence he heads down the ramp, shouting at fans in the front row, claiming his is a great champion. Joey jumps up and rolls into the ring before demanding a mic from one of the workers…[/color]

Joey Ryan
Last week what you all saw was a travesty. Joey Ryan is money and the greatest thing to ever happen to this company. Putting me against a man who wanted to put me out of a job was disgusting and disrespectful to the champion. Honestly it makes me think why I am here, honestly I am the only reason all of you come to this show. Now last week what I said was that I wanted security. I deserve to be protected, I am the world champion. You cannot put me against people who are going to not wrestle, but brutally beat down on a man who is representing Hollywood and also Redemption. Everyone comes to watch me, honestly who even is there on this show who can match up to my rockstar charisma? Who can match my movie star good looks? And how many people on that roster can say they are on a mission to BRING SLEAZY BACK! Now right here I have a new contract which I think everyone will find to be sufficient. Codys theme hits and out he comes with a serious look on his face. He wastes no time in heading down the ramp to boos from the crowd. Joey looks on and looks a little pissed as to being interrupted and not having Vickie come out. Joey takes off the world title and pulls a contract from out of his trunks, both of which he hands to the ref who passes them to one of the ring workers. Cody rolls in the ring in takes off his jacket before resting it on the turnbuckle. Both men get prepared as the ref rings for the bell…

Both men circle the ring before coming into the centre where they are come to blows. Joey gets the first advantage and locks Cody in with a side headlock, he tries to apply pressure but Cody pushes away and manages to push Joey onto the ropes. Joey rebounds back and ducks under and Cody’s attempt at a clothesline. Joey is the first man to turn around and attempts a dropkick but Cody pushes away Joeys feet and he lands on the floor. Cody tries to take advantage but Joey kicks Cody to the gut, knocking him back a few metres. Both men are up and come into another lock up where this time Cody knees Joey in the gut, getting the advantage. He then locks Joey in and hits a suplex. Joey holds his back in pain as it slammed hard against the mat. Cody begins to stop away on Joey, fully in control. He picks up Joey and tries to throw him into the corner of the ring but Joey somehow manages to keep the hold locked and spins around and slides under the legs of Cody, He keeps a hold of the arm as Cody looks confused before lifting Cody up and slamming him down behind with a huge modified suplex.

Joey spins around arrogantly, showing off to the fans. Cody is behind him and charges, knocking him down with a chop block. Joey falls down to his knees as Cody smiles at his actions. He is now in control and begins to work on the leg of Joey, stomping away. Joey is struggling to get out but cannot as Cody drops a huge elbow drop before locking in a hold applying pressure just below the knee of Joey. Joey is in pain for a few minutes as he cannot fight out. He struggles but Cody just applies more pressure causing Joey to fail. Slowly Joey beings to deliver elbows to the temple of Cody, causing him to become more groggy and loosen the hold. As the hold gets looser Joey knees Cody in the nose and is able to roll out of the way. Both men are slowly getting to their feet as Joey charges at Cody who ducks and runs at the opposite ropes…Joey turns and follows but BEAUTIFUL DISASTER! Joey is knocked out as Cody is on his knees. A loud smack was heard all across the arena. All Cody has to do now is pin and it’s all over. He looks and goes for the pin but then suddenly stops…he turns around and there is the masked man! He jumped on the apron and begins shouting abuse at Cody who turns his attention to the man. He rushes over but the man jumps off the apron and begins to shout abuse. Cody is fuming and dosen’t know who to direct his attention too, Joey or the masked man. Cody waited a little too late before his decision was made because the masked man fades away and slowly heads back up the ramp, not turning his back on the ring. Cody turns around to focus on Joey when suddenly…SUPERKICK!

Cody is out cold as Joey scrambles over…

Joey has done it! He rolls out of the ring quickly and rushes around to grab his contract and title. Cody is laying out cold in the ring as Joey laughs at his actions. The crowd begin to boo and don’t show much respect to Joey as he laughs at what he has just done. He holds the title high in the air as the camera flicks to Cody…


*As Joey Ryan's theme dies down and he heads up the ramp and into the back, Cody Rhodes gets up in the ring. The crowd mocks "the Dashingly Insane One" as he is fuming in the ring. You can't see it on his stone cold face, but his eyes tell a different story. A fiery rage is brewing in his eyes as he gets up on his feet. The referee tries to check on him, Cody only starring at him. There is no emotion on his face as the referee backs out of the ring, Rhodes leaving through the ropes on the opposite side. He heads over to the timekeeper's area and takes back his jacket and Million Dollar Championship. He puts the title around his waist and readjust his jacket onto his shoulders. He takes a microphone and heads up the ramp. Once he finally reaches the top, he turns around and begins to speak.*


[Cody Rhodes]
I have been with this company with almost three years. All of you people have seen the hardships I have come through as long as I've been employed by this company. However, for reasons I cannot fathom, this place never ceases to amaze me. That is for the what may be the first time ever, tonight I, Cody Rhodes, is standing here a broken man. A matter of months ago I was headed straight to the top. I was the Breakdown General Manager. I was in one of the main event matches for Final Stand IV against Edge. I had a legendary feud with Mick Foley. I was the first pick in the 2012 draft, and I've been in contention for the World Heavyweight Championship, the title just barely out of my reach. Of course, all of this came to a screeching halt a matter of months ago. How? It's simply, really - one man caused it. Ted DiBiase.

I remember like it was yesterday. It was the Night of Champions SuperShow. There was a poll to decided who would be facing one Ted DiBiase for the World Heavyweight Championship. It was between myself, Randy Orton, and Davey Richards. By some margin of luck, you people sharpened you minds for one little week to vote me in. I couldn't believe it, I was pretty much stoked to be honest. Of course, there was no time to celebrate. I had to be pugnacious come the SuperShow. I finally had my big chance to defeat Ted DiBiase, claim the World Heavyweight Championship, and liberate the title so it could return to it's former glory. So the stage was officially set. It was the biggest match of my career. As thousands of the XWL Universe stood in the arena and millions watched at home, I took on Ted DiBiase. We went back and forth and it was a match for the age, but it took a sinister turn.


[Cody Rhodes]
With one little move you nearly ended my career. With one Dream Street to the outside you caused more damage to my spinal cord than you could imagine, Ted. I was immobilized from that one move! I was confined to some ridiculous scooter like all of the pathetic over weight termites in this country. Before that, however, I laid stilled in a hospital bed. I was bitter about my condition, and I wanted to extract my revenge against you as quickly as possible. However, I realized I had to do the right thing. I had to serve just for everybody you had harmed before me. In just one year you had put both the Miz and Edge on the shelf. Even though I may have some personal issues with both men, I am enough of a man to acknowledge there talent. I couldn't allow you to hurt anybody else, Ted. I had to rid of from this company. I campaigned in every way I could have imagined at the time, and somehow I got into Vickie Guerrero's head. Even more surprising, she actually fired you!


[Cody Rhodes]
Man, oh, man! I was on top of the world! I couldn't believe it! Well, I guess I shouldn't have been so surprised, being the savior of XWL. Now, to put the cherry on top, I had another shot at the title at an Eye for an Eye in the Elimination Chamber. I got what most people in life could only dream of - a second chance. I couldn't let the title slip through my finger tips again. I had to justify my loss to you at Night of Champions. Come Eye for an Eye, I was well on my way to doing this. I had Austin Aries right where I wanted him, but it seemed like I took a U-Turn right back to that sinister path I took after you injured me at Night of Champions. A masked man broke into the cage and BRUTALLY assaulted me. He went as far as throwing me through a glass pod, and as a result I was eliminated.


[Cody Rhodes]
I expected something to be done about this, it's reasonable, right? Who would let some random masked criminal assault their superstars on their shows? Well, apparently Vickie Guerrero would. She apparently values "entertainment" and "excitement" over the safety of her employees. Then it all came clear to me. She always had it out for me. She was the one that allowed Zack Ryder to jump me from behind on multiple occasions. Then she made me look like a fool in the middle of the ring by saying I couldn't sue this company for the injuries Ted caused me, despite the fact I didn't have a lawyer present, so technically I didn't even have to discuss the legal matters with her. Finally, who was the only person who had to qualify for the Elimination Chamber? You guessed it, "Dashingly Insane" Cody Rhodes. Once that hit me, I also realized I had to take matters into my own hands.


[Cody Rhodes]
I had to protect myself, hence why I didn't show up last week. Now, the correct way to protect myself was to deduct the true identity of my attacker. It was obvious, it really didn't take much thought or time. I had no doubt in my mind that Ted DiBiase has been the one attacking me. He is the one with the personal grudge against me. I! was the one that stripped of him his job! Not Vickie! Not Eve! Not Teddy Long! Not Mick Foley! Not John Laurinaitis! Not Hulk Hogan! Me! Cody Rhodes! I am responsible for all the troubles in Ted's life, and I'm DAMN proud of it. Nothing will ever make regret what I did to him. I stand by what I did, and I think that was the right thing. Now, in fear of my safety, I have come to a decision. I am going to sit out the rest of my lucrative contract, and one the time expires, I'm leaving this company with the DiBiase's Million Dollar Championship. More importantly, however, I won't give Ted the satisfaction of revenge.

*The crowd is in shock, but Cody simply bursts out laughing on the stage like the maniac he is.*

Oh my god..... Cole. Did we?

[Michael Cole]
If it wasn't for Shawn Michaels coming back, this would be the darkest night in Redemption history! Redemption's Finest is leaving us!

*Suddenly, Rhodes abruptly stops laughing and gazes across the crowd as their jeers echo across the arena.*



*Cody turns around and heads to the back, never looking back as Redemption goes off the air.*
