*With now both men standing mere feet from each other, locked in an intense staredown, before exchanging a few inaudible words to one another. Just when it seemed the time for talk is over, both Triple H and Christian begin unloading rights on each other and it becomes clear that Triple H is winning the battle. He forces Christian to stumble backwards into the ropes before Triple H grabs is arm and throws him towards the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. Christian rebounds off said ropes and ducks a clothesline from Triple H, only to ricochet back towards him and get leveled by his signature running high knee. Triple H attempts to throw Christian to the ropes again but this time it's reversed and Triple H ends up going to the ropes instead. Christian ducks down a little too early and gets hit with a face buster, courtesy of Triple H. With Christian dazed, Triple H throws him to the ropes one final time, in hopes of hitting his signature spinebuster. Christian bounces back towards him and just before he lands it, Christian hooks his right arm around Triple H's neck and slams him face first with a huge DDT. Christian makes it back to his feet and stumbles towards the corner before setting up his signature spear. He's almost begging for Triple H to stand up as he feels the match is moments away from being over. Before he can attempt it...*
*The theme of Michael McGillicutty begins to play as an array of boos for the third generation superstar are heard. Christian quickly looks towards the stage as Michael bursts out from the back and makes a beeline to the ring. He stops just inches away from the ring and has a staredown with Christian, who is unaware that Triple H has just made it to his feet. Michael sees Triple H up and motions to Christian to turn around, who eventually does, and is quickly dropped with a huge Pedigree. Triple H goes for the pin as Michael looks on.*

*Triple H's theme plays throughout the arena as both himself and Michael lock eyes, with Michael mouthing towards him, “You're welcome.” The ref raises Triple H's arm into the air but he quickly lowers it back down before standing up, not taking his eyes off of Michael, who motions to Triple H to back off. Triple H doesn't move an inch as Michael slides into the ring and begins stalking a slowly rising Christian. As soon as Christian makes it to his feet, Michael charges at him, only for Christian to spin out of it and push him towards Triple H, who kicks Michael in the gut and drops him with a Pedigree. Christian makes it to his feet again and extends his arm towards Triple H, who hesitates to shake it but eventually does, only for him to suffer the same fate as his rival and gets hit with another Pedigree. He looks down towards both men before throwing his arms in the air and doing his all to familiar taunt as his theme starts up again. Triple H exits the ring and begins walking up the ramp as the camera pans to the both Christian and Michael, who are still out on the mat. Triple H disappears backstage as Redemption fades to a commercial break.*
Redemption returns and we are shown the thousands in attendance showing off their "I'm a Peep", "Joe! Joe! Joe!", and "We Want Steen" signs. We cut backstage where Robert Roode is looking into the camera hyping himself up for his match which is about to take place.
{{Robert Roode}} Last week I defeated the former Intercontinental Champion, the same man who has pinned and will keep on pinning many of Redemption's top stars, and a wrestler who I respect both in and out of the ring.. Christian. When I joined the XWL I knew that I would be facing some of the toughest competitors in the world, and I was ready to take each and every one of them on, I thrive off of competition, off of the XWL Universe's energy, and I showed that last night. Tonight I go one on one with Samoa Joe, one of the toughest and most fierce competitors on Redemption. I look forward to putting on a great match for the XWL Universe and testing my ability against such a great wrestler as Joe. And once it's all said and done, win or lose, he can find me at the local bar with my good buddy James Storm, and Joe if you can beat me then your first beer's on me!
{{Robert Roode}} There's my cue!
Roode storms out of the curtain and the crowd cheers. He makes his way down the ring high fiveing fans as he goes before sliding in, climbing the turnbuckle, and soaking in the crowd's cheers.
Joe makes his way down to the ring as the crowd cheers. The two circle each other before shaking hands and locking up!.. Joe is able to get the advantage early on.. He keeps the momentum going until... Enziguri!! He goes for the pin..1..2..Kickout! Roode is able to gain the advantage and keep it until... Spear!!!! 1...2... Kickout!! The two men battle back and forth until Roode locks on a Fujiwara Armbar! Joe reverses it into a cross face!!! Roode reaches the ropes and Spinebusters a charging Joe then locks on a armtrap crossface!! Joe is able to reverse it into a leg lock forcing Roode to reach the ropes once more. Both men get to their feet as Roode kicks Joe in the gut before positioning himself for a Pay off! Roode goes to hit it but Joe doesn't budge, Roode tries once more but Joe is able to use his power to lift Roode high in the air and slam him hard to the mat with a Muscle Buster!!!!! 1....2....3..!!!
Joe has his hand raised high in the air as Roode lays in the middle of the ring holding his head. The crowd goes wild as Joe walks over to Robert Roode and extends his arm to help him up. Roode gratefully accepts as he gets to his feet and shakes the Samoan's hand. We go to commercial as Roode holds Joe's hand high in the air while the crowd cheers.
