The Survey

What is your favorite thing about XWL?
The people, the promos, the matches the feuds. The way it all come together to make something that’s beautiful--something that’s memorable and leaves a mark in the history of the company. This company’s had its ups and downs, its rights and its lefts, but it’s always struck the perfect balance of being fun and rewarding--and being perseverant enough to keep on being alive no matter how much the actual games get worse every year. XWL, may not be what it once was, and it may only have two years left of operation, but when it does close its eyes for the final time it will go down as one of the best things I’ve been apart of.

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?
That E/T can walk around here, retire Layla and call Matt Sydal a legend while nobody talks about Chavo or Shelley. Those were legends. Those are people who should be inducted into the Hall of Fame and never touched by anybody ever again, but those two didn’t have the luxury of being backed by the owner of the league or competing in an era where you could boost your overall based on your performance and were forced to struggle and suffer during a time when 90 overall old farts like HBK, Jericho, HHH and their ilk were running rampant.

I also don’t like that Austin is so active here. Look at him. So smug and self righteous. Sticking out his chin and puffing out his chest like he’s the man, when he should be on his knees apologizing to me for the wrongs he’s committed. And he knows what he did: holding back the queen of thighs like the greedy, selfish monster that he is, hogging her until she left both of our lives. And that...that just isn’t right. That just isn’t fair. He never cared about her, worshipped her, the way that I did. And everytime I look at her, think about taking her by my side, I can’t help but turn my head in disgust at the thought of him getting to her first, using her for months mercilessly and tossing her to the side when she served her purpose without a hint of remorse or regret.

And don’t get me started on the way Tyler upped and left and broke my heart when the EY, Shelley, Striker love triangle was really about to take off and be the greatest thing this website had ever seen.

Also, where are the black people?

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?
I haven’t been booked in years. I really feel like that’s an issue.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?
#youthmovement

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?
I’ve always been an advocate of contender’s matches majority of the time, and straight up giving the title match to a person who promos often but maybe isn’t so strong as matches--no, I don’t mean me, but push me, pls.

The Administrative team has recently been talking about the way Special Events are presented. We currently have special events lasting two weeks and they take place about once every two months. Do you like that system? Would you rather see us go back to a system of us having them be once a month? Or perhaps a merger of the current and the past? Is two weeks too long for the duration of those events or just enough time?
On paper that really seems like a long time to keep a feud going, especially one that you intend to go beyond one pay per view. Now, it’s not a problem if that’s being offset by “not-so-special” events so it’s not 6-straight (or whatever the number is) regular matches between pay per views.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?
I haven’t read it in depth, but I welcome the intention of giving those who don’t use in-game wrestlers a chance to compete.

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?
Really bothers me that the first thing I saw was Miz.

What is your overall opinion of XWL?  Why?
Y’all seem like nice folks. The league is still alive, so that’s good. From skimming other surveys, some of the same old problems still persist, but that’s just what happens when you have a website full of puberty, testosterone and egos.

Optional Question

Pitch us an idea to improve the overall experience of XWL, it could pertain to the site, the titles, the booking, the shows, anything.
