| Male Competitor of the PPV: Dean Ambrose Ever since winning the XWL World Heavyweight Championship, Dean Ambrose has been on a tirade of defenses left and right, and tonight was no different. With the odds stacked against him, Dean Ambrose defended his title against Chris Jericho and Johnny Gargano in a 2 out of 3 falls match. In what was an intense battle between the three it was Dean Ambrose who barely came away with the win.Runner Up: Eli DrakeFemale Competitor of the PPV: Natalya Over the last 6 months, Natalya has proven time and time again that she is leaps and bounds ahead of the XWL Women’s division. Cyberslam was all in the same for the daughter of the late Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart as she came back and thwarted the attempt that Kaitlyn had thrown out to rid Natalya of her XWL Women’s Championship.Runner Up: Alexa BlissPromo of the PPV: “Awoken” Matt Hardy After being thrown off of a building by Edge several months ago we were sure it was the end of “Awoken” Matt Hardy. But to no prevail Jeff Hardy channeled his inner Brother Nero and contacted his brother in need of help against the Duo of Aiden English and Rusev. With Queen Rebecca, King Maxiel, Lord Wolfgang, and Senor Benjamin, Matt Hardy requested the services of his trusty drone, who talks, Vanguard one, they were teleported to Cyberslam to aid in the help of Jeff Hardy.Runner Up: Tomasso Ciampa, Ruby RiottOMG Moment of the PPV: The debut of Shayna Bazler No one likes a bully, especially Alexa Bliss. That’s why for months she and Asuka had issues with each other with Alexa claiming Asuka to be the bully. Having enough, the two went one on one with the loser having to kiss the boot of the winner. Later in the match it was XWL’s newest signee who was seemingly on Alexa’s side when she broke the arm of The Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka aided Alexa bliss in her win against Asuka, therefore it is know that not only did Asuka kiss the boot, she got the boot.Runner Up: Demon Allies casket set of fireMatch of the PPV: Dean Ambrose vs Chris Jericho vs Johnny Gargano 2/3 Falls   In a match where anyone can come away with the victory, suspense is sure to follow. At Cyberslam suspense was in the air all night, none more so than the triple threat 2/3 falls match that saw Dean Ambrose, Chris Jericho, and Johnny Gargano go to absolute war to each other, where at any point someone could have walked away with the win. Dean Ambrose arose as the victor but not very easily. Chris Jericho was livid knowing for a fact that he broke up the pin that secured Ambrose’s win, but upon further review it was ruled that the refs hand hit the matt for a count of 3 before Chris Jericho attempted to break up the pin. I’m sure the unhappiest of them all was Johnny Gargano who was the one pinned at the end of the match. After all he has been put through this was sure to be his swan song only for it to fade away right before his very eyes.
Runner Up: Eli Drake vs Kenny OmegaFeud of the PPV: Alexa Bliss vs Asuka As mentioned before, no one hates bullies more than Alexa Bliss that’s why she had her site set on Asuka for the last several months, With Alexa’s mission on ridding XWL of the bully Asuka being successful with the help of Shayna Bazler, she was successful. Only time will tell to know if Alexa is satisfied ridding XWL of any and all bullies. Runner Up: April vs Allie | |
