You Thought It Was Over? At Final Stand we saw Club Warfare as The Alpha Club took on Bullet Club in a winner take all Elimination tag team match for the Intercontinental and World Heavyweight Championship. It was a close match with both teams eliminating a member of the other team. It came down to Jericho and Dean, each clubs respective champion. Dean was able to pick up and win and bring the titles to the Bullet Club bringing an end to the rivalry. Or so Dean thought. In a turn of events Chris Jericho would come out number 20 for the Final Stand Off and win the whole thing. Chris Jericho has earned himself a number one contendership for Dean's World Heavyweight Championship. This is far from over
Stalked April climbed the mountain once again. With terrible odds April stood on top of the ladder and grabbed destiny becoming the next Ms Money in the Bank. She chose not to cash in and in her words taint the first ever woman Final Stand main event. As she went to put her new possession in the trunk she found a horrible discovery. Someone has been watching her. Hundreds of pictures filled the trunk of April and her family. Before April knew it a pipe to the head knocked her unconscious. Her attacker? Nikki Cross. It seems Nikki has not forgotten about April. This could get crazy between these two
Undisputed Victory The Undisputed Era vs The Cabinet was an ugly rivalry. Full of twist and turns that land both sides in a three on three elimination match. Roderick Strong was lost along the way but by the end of the match it was Kruger left alone to take on Cole and Pete. Kruger put on his best fight but between the two he fell, leaving the Undisputed Era the winners. Now that the Undisputed Era has stomped The Cabinet, one can only ask where they go from here
A Good Start To A Bad Ending Life hasn't been great to Johnny Gargano. Losing his career could have broke him. But through perseverance Johnny was made the host of Final Stand. In a turn of events an I Quit match was made between Gargano and rival Miz. Via a agonizing Gargano escape with barbed wire Gargano won, winning back his job and making The Miz lose his. He looked ahead for the Final Stand off but later that night Johnny was found unconscious. No one saw anything and no one knows why it happened. A sad end to Johnny's night. While no one else knows what happened, the truth to this story may lie with Johnny himself. We may find out tonight
Stand-Off Fallout
The Final Stand-Off had many eliminations that left a bitter taste in many mouths. Daniel Bryan was double teamed by Sami Zayn & Andrade Cien Almas so tonight he gets his hands on Zayn. Leo Kruger eliminated John Cena who was starting to get on a roll, so the leader of the cenation looks to take it to The man that tied for most eliminations. While Killer Kross was unfortunately the first eliminated, so he goes one on one with the last man eliminated, Pete Dunne. Can he avenge himself?

The very instant second that XWL Anarchy goes live, the night after Final Stand which is normally just as big and exciting...the sight before us, is something that causes us the viewers to do a double take. We shake our heads to get rid of the cob webs, we rub our eyes with both hands...we blink several times, we pinch ourselves, we ask the person sitting next to us if they see it too. Because what is staring right back at us, is two Championship belts that we've never seen before. They're exactly alike, duplicate copies of each other, and the most exciting detail we notice...are the words engraved on them. "TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS." As we the fans watching around the world start to screaming giddily over this realization, you hear a loud reaction roaring from within the arena this is being broadcast from. We're not ringside, the reaction is that loud that we can hear this from where the cameras currently are.
We're not dreaming, we're not on the wrong channel, this is XWL Anarchy, the night after a show that was 10 years in the making...and right in front of us, are titles that have been 10 years in the making themselves. After focusing solely on this image for nearly a minute, letting it sink in...the camera starts to pan upward, showing a feminine figure standing with her back to the titles, staring at something in front of her...something that as the camera pans out even more...we see just what has her so captivated. There are two statues made entirely of bronze, placed beside each other as if they were one complete statue. We recognize who these statues are of quite quickly, as they've got a very trademark pose that we remember very often seeing on XWL programming for many years. On the left...is Alex Shelley, standing to the side with his arm extended out, and his hand formed in the shape of a gun, aimed incredible so...at the tag team titles that are on the pedestal. On the right, Chris Sabin...mirroring Alex's exact pose except he's turned to the opposite side so that their arms are nearly joined together even though they're two statues. His arm is firing a gun that is his hand as well, these aren't just men we recognize...this is a team we know fought for tag team wrestling to come to XWL,a fight that unfortunately they seemed to be ahead of their time in. The rest of XWL wasn't as committed as they were, they didn't believe in tag team wrestling enough...whereas XWL today, that's an entirely different story. Many teams have formed over the course of the last year, teams that have stuck, just as The Motor City Machine Guns did in their time. The woman staring at these statues is none other than our General Manager Layla, with a proud smile on her face...as she soon turns to face the camera placing both hands on the titles in front of her.
[Layla] As a trailblazer in my own right, for my own division...I stand here tonight, honoring two more trailblazers. Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin...The Motor City Machine Guns. Two men gave their blood, their sweat, and tears for the cause that never quite could pick up the steam it needed to be a revolution that would surely change this business and XWL forever. No, they fought valiantly, they campaigned, they even tried to pull Superstars together, to see what they saw, to FEEL what they felt. Tag Team Wrestling was magical, it was special, it was different...a challenge all on it's own that wasn't the same as going at it on your own. You had to share minds, bodies, souls and dedication. I can't speak to the extent that they could over what tag team wrestling was to them. But as someone that's been apart of Lay-Cool, and The United Queendom...I appreciated the camaraderie of it, the trust you could hold in someone, the trust they could hold in you. Every where around the world, tag team wrestling was celebrated, rewarded...and the backbone of those companies just as much as a Women's Title, or a World title.
Layla looks down at the Championships before her, and smiles.
[Layla] When I was presented the incredible opportunity to be your General Manager, I took it with great honor and responsibility. It is my job to move XWL in the right direction so that it can be the best company it can be. To provide Men & Women an equal footing, to push the boundaries of what once was, and surpass them. When it comes to Tag Team Titles...it's often been spoken of as "Well it'd be nice...but it's just never going to work." And you know, I heard the same thing when I first set foot in The Women's Division...it was a group of "divas" deemed lesser than everyone else. Us being 'extreme" just wouldn't "work." I've never accepted that answer...and as someone that was just another Superstar in the locker room when The Motor City Machine Guns were fighting that very choice of words...they didn't either. They wanted to just have the company believe in them, to have Superstars employed that appreciated this whole new side of wrestling as much as they did.
She pauses, looking over her shoulder back at the two statues in honor of the men she speaks of.
[Layla] In the last year, The Bullet Club has taken this company by storm, The Kyohi blaze their controversial trail, The Alpha Club...unite in the name of success. And The Undisputed Era vow to make the next coming era, theirs. Through their own journey they have risen up, TOGETHER. Embodying what The Motor City Machine Guns themselves were. I believe in this division, so much so that I want to use my power to give them the stage they have earned. Every last team that has ever stepped through those doors. THIS is 10 years in the making, off the backbones of duos and groups that much like The Motor City Machine Guns...were ahead of their time. But that time? Is NOW! These titles? Are The NEW and OFFICIAL XWL Tag-Team Championships. Titles that will be defended in the OFFICIALLY DECLARED TAG TEAM DIVISION!
Once again you hear a thunderous roar of cheers from the fans in the audience, massively screaming in joy over this moment we truly never expected to see happen.
[Layla] I stated from my very first night in power, that this is not MY show, this is YOUR show. This show belongs to The Superstars. I did not make this happen, this is not my doing, this is theirs. Because they proved the concept...they proved it's not impossible, that they get "IT." They made the division, all I've done? Is name it what it is, a division that is ready to take center stage in XWL for the next decade ahead. We said The Women would never Main-Event Final Stand...they did, they stole the show...and who knows...one day The Tag Team Championship could be the next historical Main-Event on the grandest stage of them all. Now I could go on and on about that this means, and who has made it possible, but you the fans know that already. You've pushed for this as much as The Superstars themselves. So that leaves one question now remaining...when will the FIRST XWL Tag Team Championship Match take place? Well...if you'll look behind me...

[Layla] I have honored The Motor City Machine Guns for their role in making this all possible, by making them the faces of the revolution itself. Unfortunately they won't be apart of this, at least for now....but instead we will host a tournament in their name. The Motor City Cup...a tournament that will all culminate in 3 weeks at a new, and familiar Pay-Per-View...WARZONE!
Some of the die hard OG fans that have been watching since XWL began recognize this name but obviously it's been 10 years since it was used so she smiles ready to continue.
[Layla] For those of you that maybe haven't been along for the ride as long as others...Warzone is a special name because it was the very first event XWL ever held. All the way back at the tail end of 2008, where I became The First Women's Champion in XWL history. Where Randy Orton was crowned The First World Heavyweight Champion....where Chris Jericho became The First Intercontinental Champion. Every FIRST Division Champion to the titles our Superstars fight for today were crowned on this stage, a stage that has only ever taken place once. This immortalized battleground, felt not only symbolic, but inclusive for the FIRST Tag Team Champions to be crowned as well. And as if it could end any other way...this event will be headlined by the finals of The Motor City Cup where two teams will battle it out for The Tag Team Titles.
There's pride in her voice as she says those words, Team Team Titles. She knows how much this means to the teams, and she's happy she can use her power to make this a reality.

The sight that kicked things off, is the exact sight we return to. This is real, this is happening, this is a new chapter in XWL ready to be written by 8 Tag Teams. And it all begins tonight...this is what they will fight for, this is the spoils of whichever team survives The War at Warzone...and with that huge announcement delivered out of nowhere, we don't cut away to a display of pyrotechnics, we switch over to our commentary team consisting of Mauro Ranallo & Corey Graves who look absolutely as floored as we ourselves are by the announcement.
[Mauro Ranallo] Pinch me Corey, I must be dreaming!
[Corey Graves] As a former member of a group of my own, The Men of Honor...I am overjoyed at the direction our company is being led in by The General Manager.
[Mauro Ranallo] Talk about a BOMBSHELL announcement out of nowhere! WHERE DID THAT COME FROM, COREY!?
[Corey Graves] I heard rumors circulating of course but...to see it in front of me, to see actual titles that say "TAG TEAM" on them...to see that it's REAL....I think The Men of Honor Cup has a nicer ring to it personally...but The Motor City Cup is nice too.
[Mauro Ranallo] The Undisputed Era, The Kyohi, The Alpha Club, and The Bullet Club...four Tag Teams in action tonight...and on top of that. FOUR BRAND NEW TEAMS INTO THE FRAY! I wonder who they are, Corey?
[Corey Graves] Your guess is as good as mine, but color me intrigued. But can we talk about this Main-Event? Chris Jericho the man who at Final Stand won The Stand-Off to earn the right to challenge Dean Ambrose at Cyberslam for The World Heavyweight Championship...the man that essentially cost him his Intercontinental Championship earlier that evening teams up with Kevin Owens to clash against Kenny Omega the man who had a jaw dropping end of his best of 7 with Eli Drake at Final Stand, and Shinsuke Nakamura!
[Mauro Ranallo] A star-studded Main-Event, we apologize Ladies & Gentlemen for skipping past the incredible Final Stand that just took place, but Layla our General Manager decided to spring an entirely new division on us out of nowhere and I'm struggling to not wanna talk about that.
[Corey Graves] One thing we need to address was that Main-Event.
[Mauro Ranallo] Often times the end of the show can sometimes not be able to follow up the previous matches before it...but that was NOT the case with The Hell in a Cell Match for The Women's Championship between former best friends Sasha Banks and Natalya, let me tell you that.
[Corey Graves] They absolutely killed one another, they went to hell, and when hell wasn't crazy enough, they broke free of their confines and took it to the next level! We're standing here tonight in front of an announce table, but by the end of that match our table had been smashed to pieces by Sasha Banks who LEAPED OFF THE TOP OF THE CELL with the biggest Frog Splash I've ever seen.
[Mauro Ranallo] Both shed blood, tears, and sweat throughout that match, and neither Woman walked away unscathed. I understand Natalya did in fact suffer a broken nose as we had previous speculated. While Sasha, well if you saw the conclusion when Natalya literally snapped her in half from the most brutal Sharpshooters you'll ever see you can only imagine the condition she's in.
[Corey Graves] But after every painful minute of that match, Natalya emerged from Hell, STILL The Women's Champion.
[Mauro Ranallo] 2018 has been her year without question, our question now...is who's next to challenge the Champion you appropriately deemed "The Queen of The Dungeon?
[Corey Graves] With a division full of hungry challengers, I'm sure we'll soon find out.
[Mauro Ranallo] One last thing to note, of course Final Stand had a host in Johnny Gargano. A man that would shock the world by having an unannounced match with The Miz the man that had made his life hell. An I Quit Match...where if Johnny won? He would get Miz's spot on the roster, and indeed he did!
[Corey Graves] But after that match, Johnny was discovered backstage unconscious by a chair, and loaded into an ambulance to a nearby medical facility. We can confirm exclusively right now that Johnny Gargano will be here tonight to give us an update on his condition, and hopefully shed some light on what happened.
[Mauro Ranallo] Now as they say, let's get this show on the road, the Anarchy after Final Stand begins NOW!
*The words "Earlier Today" are shown in the bottom corner of the screen as video footage begins to play. Dakota Kai is shown outside the arena approaching a gathering of journalists and fanfare. Several take photos and shout her name trying to catch her attention as she approaches to address them.*
[Journalist] Dakota! Dakota Kai! How will you bounce back from failing to capture the Money In The Bank at Final Stand?
[Dakota Kai] You know, I don't see it as a failure... I see it as a learning experience. While I was heartbroken not to become Miss Money In The Bank in my first ever PPV appearance, it isn't something that's going to de-rail my career or keep me from striving to complete my goals in XWL. You just can't win them all as nice as that would be.
[Dakota Kai] I just wish April the very best and hope she chooses the moment to cash in wisely and doesn't waste the opportunity she has. She's been nothing but a friend to me since I've arrived in XWL so to see her as champion once again would warm my heart. But I have warned her not to expect another reign of dominance over the Women's Division because I'm coming for the gold. Maybe it'll take me a little while to get there, but I will be Women's Champion. It's time for Dakota Kai to kick things up a notch and that starts tonight on Anarchy when I defeat Alexa Bliss.
*Dakota's attention is drawn to something off camera...and soon our attention is as well. For arriving onto the scene, rolling her suitcase beside her, is Little Miss Bliss herself, Alexa Bliss. *
*Hot off a huge upset victory over Asuka on the grandest stage of them all, Alexa is clearly in a fantastic mood...so much so, that as she clearly must have heard Dakota utter her name, despite the two of them never having an interaction before now...she doesn't storm over to give her a piece of her mind, she instead waves with a friendly smile and then walks over to the newcomer.*
[Alexa Bliss] Well if it isn't Captain Kick herself. Sorry, where are my manners? I'm Alexa, nice to meet you.
*Alexa extends her hand out to Dakota Kai, seemingly sincere in her gesture...but given her moniker as "The Wicked Witch of XWL" we're somehow sure it can't possibly be. Dakota looks down at the outstretched hand before a look of disbelief clouds her face.*
[Dakota Kai] Are you really being serious right now? I know exactly the kind of person you are Alexa... you use people for your own personal gain. You don't have any real friends... they're just tools you use to make your own life better. You don't care about anybody but yourself. Unlike Nia Jax, I see right through you. I'm not stupid. And I'm definitely not going to be next to be manipulated by you.
*Alexa is visibly taken aback by this verbal attack by Dakota and withdraws her olive branch. She appears to almost be upset by the harsh words. The journalists and fans present are loving this unexpected confrontation between two of the stars of the Women's Division.*
[Alexa Bliss] Look at the high and mighty rookie acting she knows me. For your information, I was being nice, because I'm in a good mood...no, I'm feeling absolutely blissful. So I see XWL's newest rookie and I think, you know...she had a rough night at Final Stand. Utterly failed to win Money in The Bank...despite attaching herself to the longest reigning Women's Champion in XWL history, April to get that spot. Yet she wants to judge me and think that she knows me? First of all, rude. Second, if all I do is use people for my own personal gain then please tell me what I've "gained?" There's been not one, not two, but THREE Money in The Bank Ladder Matches in 7 months, an Elimination Chamber, a #1 tournament and yet despite "manipulating" everyone like you boldly accuse me of despite never having a single conversation with me before now, I've not been apart of ANY of that.
*You can tell she's very agitated by Dakota's accusations, trying to not let her spoil her mood, but it's obvious she has with her "unfounded" accusations.*
[Alexa Bliss] Furthermore, Nia is NOT stupid. She is the smartest, most brave Woman I've ever met. And it is an HONOR, to call her my best friend. So why don't you quit taking out your failures on me, and recognize when someone is trying to be nice to you.
*Dakota shrugs off Bliss' words and again takes an offensive verbal stance.*
[Dakota Kai] It's funny how you live in your own little fantasy world full of sparkles and sunshine where you can do no wrong and you think you're this sweet, little goddess that everyone should love and cherish. But the reality is Alexa, you're not a goddess... you're a two-faced snake that plagues the Women's Division. So I don't believe for one second that any word that comes out of your mouth is sincere in the slightest. Even as a "rookie" I can tell what kind of person you are. So maybe Nia does too. Did you ever think that maybe Nia... shock, horror... is the one that's manipulating you? Did you ever think about that Alexa? No? Does that blow your little mind?
*Little Miss Bliss does a not so little eye roll in response. People have been trying to discredit their friendship ever since the first night they officially became friends. *
[Alexa Bliss] A plague? And people call me dramatic? You know, for the 3 months I've endured excruciating bullying at the hands of some psychopathic clown...I've learned something. Bullies, are merely trying to tear you down because they feel so insecure with who they are. And honestly, I know you're trying to rile me up and spoil my good mood, considering unlike you...I have reason to be over the moon right now. But it's not going to work. I OVERCAME my bully, and every hurtful word, or every emotional scar? Was healed the moment the referee counted three on my behalf. And do you know what happened when I walked through the curtain? Nia was right there, and gave me the warmest hug, and told me she was proud of me for sticking up for myself. So maybe you're the one that's lacking in the REAL friends department...and for that, I feel sorry for you. That you have to demonize a pure bond between myself and Nia all because your "pal" April forgot all about you and all her attention suddenly went elsewhere. I guess that's what happens when your entire "friendship" was born out of pity.
*You can tell this stings Dakota a little but she quickly hides that expression by going into defense mode with her reply.*
[Dakota Kai] You're right, maybe our friendship was born out of pity. Maybe I am thinking we are better friends than we truly are. But it's been a privilege to have her in my corner at the start of my XWL career. To have a legend like her support me... it means the world to me. I'll cherish the time we spent together and I'll remember her advice for years to come. If April's moving on to bigger and better things now, leaving me behind while I try to carve out my own way to the top, that's fine. That's how this business works. Our paths will cross once again in the future, and I'll look forward to that day. But you're wrong when you say I'm here to try and ruin your mood. Unlike you Alexa, I don't get off on making others feel terrible. So congratulations. Well done on your victory at Final Stand. That's sincerity Alexa. Learn it.
*Dakota does actually appear to be sincere when congratulating Alexa being the nice girl that she is, despite all their hostilities up to this point. But a fire burns in her eyes as she continues.*
[Dakota Kai] But I want you to savor this feeling of being victorious. Because after our match tonight you will be tasting bitter defeat. And when you get backstage after suffering that loss, when Nia is consoling you... when she's giving you another "warm hug"... I want you think long and hard about what I said.
*Alexa starts to burst into a fit of laughter at Dakota's threat. Instead of addressing her directly, she turns to the cheering and "ohhing" bystanders and looks at them with disbelief.*
[Alexa Bliss] Aw, did you hear that guys? Dakota Kai is gonna defeat me tonight, oh woe is me...I'm getting really nervous now...I mean, after all she's so SINCERE...she sounds like she really means it.
*When not a single person near them gives her the encouragement she was seeking, she scoffs turning back to Dakota.*
[Alexa Bliss] Since you wanna talk about "sincerity" allow me to show you sincerity. I SINCERELY, think you're going to regret the things you have said, and the unfounded attitude you have had with me. I came over here out of the goodness of my heart to pick you up when you were clearly at the bottom of the barrel in the division, when you clearly buckled under pressure at Final Stand and let all five of your fans down. But you want to badmouth my best friend, make ridiculous claims about someone you had never even introduced yourself to before now, and then stand here and go on about sincerity, as you SINCERELY lie to my face when you tell me you're going to beat me in our match tonight. I SINCERELY doubt that, considering you said you would win Money in The Bank...and then, y'know...didn't.
*You can tell Alexa's channeling The Wicked Witch within as she completely lets Dakota have it for mouthing off to her for "no reason."*
[Alexa Bliss] You're in denial, that much is clear...but don't worry...I'll Bliss-miss all those terrible insincerities in your pretty little head, when I STOMP YOUR FACE INTO THE MAT TONIGHT! No need to thank me, it'll SINCERELY...be my pleasure.
*Alexa spins around, turning her back on Dakota and begins heading towards the arena entrance leaving her behind to feel the burn of her words. Dakota watches her leave, shaking her head.*
[Journalist] Dakota! Dakota! Can we get some comments from you about this confrontation with Alexa Bliss?! Dakota!
*Dakota is showered with questions by the journalists but she's clearly in no mood to answer them now as she remains silent and begins to walk away from them herself. The screen fades to black to signal the end of this segment of the show.*

A limo pulls into the arena, and parks the driver gets out of the limo. He begins walking towards the back right door, but before he reaches to open it.
[Corey Graves] Who do you think it could be Mauro?
[Mauro Ranallo] I'm not sure, but we are about to find out!
The door swings open, and Eli Drake steps out of the vehicle with his wheeled bag in hand.
[Corey Graves] Oh! It is E Li Drake! He is in the building. He went toe to toe with Kenny Omega last night to find out who is really Elite, and boy oh boy did those two deliver.
[Mauro Ranallo] Not only did they deliver, but they tore the house down Corey! They left it all in the ring, but it was Eli Drake who was the one standing at the end of the night to be declared "The Elite Wrestler of XWL"!
He looks upon the limo driver with a smile.
["The Elite Superstar of XWL" Eli Drake] My man, you do not have to do that for me. I'm a big boy I can open up my own doors, but I do honestly appreciate the gesture though.
He places his bag on the ground, and presses down on a button on the handle of his bag then extends outward.
["The Elite Superstar of XWL" Eli Drake] Thanks for the ride, man. I gotta go in, and figure out what I am doing tonight.
[Limo Driver] No problem at all sir. Have an excellent night sir.
Eli looks to him with a smile.
["The Elite Superstar of XWL" Eli Drake] Thanks! You too..
Eli turns his back to the limo driver, and begins walking into the arena. He looks ready for anything as he walks into tonight's Anarchy. He makes his way through the back area greeting, and waving at backstage personal as he passes by him. He stops in front of a door that has his name on the door. He smiles as he gazes upon it then reaches for the door knob.
[Mysterious Voice] Eli just the man I was looking for!
He turns around to see who is talking to him, and Layla steps into view. The crowd cheers to see at the mere sight of their general manager.
["The Elite Superstar of XWL" Eli Drake] Layla. It is a pleasure to see you as always, but I don't understand you are looking for me? Am I in some type of trouble or something?
Layla smiles, and then laughs by his reaction.
[Layla] No not at all! I want you to know we've heard you loud, and clear last night before, and after you beat Kenny Omega. I wanna express you to that we did not mean to make you feel like that we have been overlooking your talent here in XWL. I know you may not have seen it, but I have been in your corner this entire time. We have been waiting for the perfect spot to put you. Since Chris Jericho is not taking his rematch clause until Cyberslam. I think it's time for you to prove once again why you can't spell Elite without Eli.
The crowd lets out a cheer that echoes throughout the arena. The cheers can be heard from in the back. The crowds reaction causes both Layla, and Eli to smile.
[Layla] I'm excited to tell you that tonight you will go one on one with Andrade "Cien" Almas, and the winner gets to fight AJ Styles at WarZone for the Intercontinental title.
The crowd cheers even louder, and Eli nods with a slight smirk on his face.
[Layla] So allow me to be the first to wish you the best of luck in your match tonight!
The two shake hands. A smile of pure joy takes over the face of Eli Drake.
["The Elite Superstar of XWL" Eli Drake] Layla, I would like to thank you for this opportunity! I will not let you down, and I will show you exactly why when you got Eli Drake in a big match. You throw all of your chips on black betting on me. You best better believe I am not gonna let this chance slip through my hands. I am going to go out there Layla, and do exactly what I do better than anyone else. That is being Elite.
The look of joy is quickly replaced with seriousness as Eli continues talking.
["The Elite Superstar of XWL" Eli Drake] You see Andrade is not ready for someone this hungry to succeed. He isn't ready for someone with this much skill. I am the best in that ring. I am the best on the microphone. No one even comes close to what I can offer. Not even the current Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles, and I am not gonna lie I have been itching to fight AJ Styles for sometime now. I mean the last time I fought a member of the finger banging dummies I took his title.
Eli turns toward the camera
["The Elite Superstar of XWL" Eli Drake] Isn't that right Finn Balor?
A slight smile of pure confidence overtakes the face of Eli Drake.
["The Elite Superstar of XWL" Eli Drake] How fitting would it be to take another belt away from the finger banging dummies? But I shouldn't get ahead of myself... I have tonight focus on. In obstacle stands in my way, and his chances of winning are none, and that isn't an insult that Layla... is just a Fact of Life...
Eli nods to Layla, and opens the door to his locker then proceeds to walk in. The door shuts, and the camera focuses on Layla who is still standing there with a smile on her face as we go to commercial break.

As we return to this historic episode of Anarchy, we are first greeted with darkness. However, the camera quickly moves its way to the left, revealing a singular light shining down on none other than Bray Wyatt, albeit with his face covered with his hair.
{Bray Wyatt} When a man who sparks a fellow man’s flame of anger vanishes, the people begin to stir.
The camera adjusts a little bit, so we are able to better see Wyatt’s face, although the cover is still present.
{Bray Wyatt} Yet, despite all your inner thoughts, your inner fears, you must know that this paranoia is not true. You see, I did nothing to the man known as Elias. The universe took care of him, showed him the consequences for the path he had chosen. He saw the final result of all of this fear, all of his cowardice, and it forced him away. He was expunged, just as was planned. You see, everything always ends up exactly where it needs to be.
Wyatt pushes back his hair, finally allowing us to get a full view of his expression, as he reaches one hand up, almost as if he was delivering sermon to a delighted audience.
{Bray Wyatt} And just as Elias has ended up where he needs to be, someone has been brought to my side, exactly where they need to be. As I have known, possessing these “followers” is quite dangerous, quite consuming, yet this man is no follower. This man is one on a path such as mine, one who understands and appreciates my teachings. One who understands the need for the coming demise, destruction, and re-building of this world. For oh, it is still coming. It grows ever nearer. And tonight is the first step in its new phase.
{Bray Wyatt} For you see, tonight is indeed a historic one, yes, yes, but you all don’t fully understand how. You see tonight, the Motor City Cup provides the perfect cover for the beings of the night to take root. Tonight I take on the Undisputed Era in the first step of many towards accomplishing my ultimate goals. And I am being assisted in this quest by none other than the man I just spoke of, the man the universe brought forward to me. But the universe did not bring me just any man to assist me, not any man who believes in me, no. This man has a very special connection with these men we will face tonight. Tonight the Undisputed Era will have to compete not only with men set on a quest by the very forces of the world itself, but also their own past. And after this we will go on to annihilate all of the other foolish groups in this tournament, before taking our rightful titles, and securing a future for the coming Armageddon. But what you all don’t understand is that once we destroy each and every one of these teams standing in our way, not only will we be the first……
Before finishing his sentence Wyatt begins to laugh maniacally, however his eyes never look away from directly at the camera. Eventually, he stops and goes back to looking at the camera with a sense of intensity and threat. After a few moments of silence he finally concludes.
{Bray Wyatt} ….. we will also be the last.
Wyatt continues to stare directly into the camera menacingly as Anarchy fades into the next segment.

[Mauro Ranallo] Well, ladies and gentlemen, Final Stand was a night of triumph, a night of heartbreak, and for one woman...it was a night of chaos. After winning the coveted Miss Money in the Bank briefcase, April was being interviewed backstage by Renee Young when out of nowhere...Nikki Cross would blindside the longest-reigning Women's Champion in XWL history and leave her out cold.
[Corey Graves] Certainly, Nikki Cross is a danger not just to herself but to others around her, including April and the rest of the women's division as a whole. Hell, I'd go as far as to say she could put everyone in this arena tonight in danger, because word has spread that Nikki Cross is in the building tonight in San Antonio, and I doubt she's going to stay quiet very lo--
[Corey Graves] Well, alright, then.
Corey didn't have to wait long for Nikki Cross to greet the XWL Universe after her vicious attack on April at XWL's pinnacle of entertainment, the ten year anniversary of the Super Bowl of professional wrestling, Final Stand.
[Corey Graves] Here comes, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the most dangerous women not only on the XWL roster, but maybe walking the planet today. Nikki Cross is a deranged, unhinged psychopath with only one thing on her mind, and that is getting her revenge on Miss Money In The Bank.
[Mauro Ranallo XWL's resident "Twisted Sister" took the "Psychotic Scot" out of action during Natalya's open invitational, the Iron Woman Classic, leaving her with a concussion and a broken nose, to boot. We hadn't seen Nikki Cross since that night, up until her brutal assault at Final Stand.
[Mauro Ranallo Nikki Cross, a deranged individual, a woman who happily resides as chaos' consort. As vicious as a wild dog...
[Corey Graves] And no doubt, just as rabid, Mauro.
[Mauro Ranallo Given the actions Nikki Cross has taken since her return to XWL nearly six months ago, Corey? I can't disagree with you on that one.
[Nikki Cross] Did you think that I'd forget? Did you? Did you think I was just going to go away, April? Trust me, April...I'd never leave you. I'd never abandon you. After all...you're the reason that I'm here. I challenged you to a match at Final Stand...and what did you do? You resorted to taking me out from behind. You want to know how that made me feel, April? To have you stab me in the back?
[Nikki Cross] To tell you the truth, April...I've never felt more alive. The feeling of your skin pressed to mine...the feeling of you marking me with your blood, the feeling of your very life force dripping down my face...it gave me a rush that I'd never, ever felt before. Nikki stops to collect herself, eyes shutting as she's grinning from ear to ear as the fans look on in sheer confusion.
[Nikki Cross] Tell me, April...I want to know what you feel like. I want to know what you smell like. I want to, I want to bury my face in your hair. I want all my clothes to smell like you. I want...I want to savor you, April. I want to know...everything about you. How you sleep...what you eat...how you look when you're all alone...how you taste...
The fans now turn from confused to being purely uncomfortable as Nikki continues to wear a psychotic grin on her lips.

The collective audience's jaw drops to the floor at Nikki's words, Mauro and Corey both stammering at the announce desk.
[Corey Graves] Wh-What in god's name did she just say!? What the hell did I just hear!? Can she even say that on a live microphone!?
[Mauro Ranallo I...I...
[Nikki Cross] I want to make you my dirty little plaything, April. I want to make you scream, make you squeal, make you mine. And trust me...I won't stop making your life miserable, making your life Hell until I have you all to myself. And when I do...I promise you something, April. The night I get you to myself? Let's just say, the pleasure you got from becoming Miss Money In The Bank? From becoming XWL Women's Champion? It won't even come close to the pleasure that this will give you when I have you spreading your legs for me...
For emphasis, Nikki looks into the camera and sticks her tongue out, pointing to it with a wicked smirk growing on her lips.
[Nikki Cross] Because April...I love you. I love you with all of my heart...which is why I'm the only one that will ever be allowed to touch you again. You...belong...to me! You belong to m--
Nikki's head turns towards the stage as April's theme cuts her off, a grin forming once again on her face as she sits down in the middle of the ring, rocking back and forth while waving to the object of her..."affections."
The crowd cheer as April comes to the stage. She's still taped up from the Money in the Bank match and there is a new bandaged wrapped around her head. She tries to put on a angry front But the usual fire in her eyes are gone. Instead there is disgust. Embarrassment. And even a little fear. April's appalled face shows up on the titantron and in her hand is a microphone. But she's hesitant to use it. Nikki continues to rock band and forth. Her eyes never leaving April which only further unnerves Ms Money in the Bank. After a short stare down April brings her microphone to her lips
[April] I.....I...I-You....ARRRGH!
April's frustrated growl echoes through the arena as he runs her hand through her hair
[April] I don't know...what you're playing at but I'm not gonna be made a fool by some psycho! I'm...I'm!
April's eye gain that full look to them we've all come to know very well. Her eyes narrow in on Nikki's form
[April] If you think you're gonna rattle me with your lies and your stalking I promise you I'm not easily rattled. You want to touch me? The only part of me you're gonna feel on you is my fist in your face!
April tosses her microphone and races down the ramp and into the ring. As April slides in and stands up she finds Nikki on her knees before April. Her arms as held out to her sides and she is begging April to touch her. April raises a sudden fist but stops. Something about Nikki's smile makes her pause. It freaks her out. Nikki slowly rises up. Face to face and nose to nose April slowly backs away, wanting to be anywhere but near her stalker. Nikki reaches forward suddenly, and April flinches from the punch. But there is no punch. Instead Cross simply grabs some of April's hair and lifts it to her nose, inhaling deeply. This finally snaps her out of her trance and April tackles Nikki! Now on top April begins to rain punches down on her for. But not precise hard hitting punches like normal. Instead a these are frantic rapid blows that Nikki can easily endure. That being said April keeps going, an animalistic look in her eyes! As April is on top of Nikki giving her a beatdown the theme of Demon Allie hits. April gets off Nikki and turns her attention to the top of the stage.
[Corey Graves] UH OH! Looks like April has some company. We know she had and still has issues with Nikki but this could be interesting because Demon Allie has an issue with April. Demon Allie made her debut because of what April did to Rosemary. So I guess you can say we all seen this coming.
[Mauro Ranallo] Oh come on Corey. April has enough to worry about she doesn't need Demon Allie out here as well. It doesn't matter what kind of issue she has with her.
[Corey Graves] How about you stop being so sympathetic Mauro. April deserves everything shes got coming to her.
[Mauro Ranallo] Welp doesn't look like shes gonna sh...........
[Corey Graves] Let me stop you right there Mauro. Look it's Demon Allie shes coming from under the ring.
Demon Allie comes from under the ring as the arena fills with cheers and boos. April starts to get curious as she doesn't realize Demon Allie is getting in the ring behind her. April starts to realize when she doesn't see anyone coming that she could be getting attacked from behind. April quickly turns around to Demon Allie staring back at her with a sadistic smile. April looks towards the crowd then suddenly rushes at her with a closeline but Demon Allie ducks under, April comes back about to deliver a right hand when all of a sudden Demon Allie hits her with Mist. April stumbles while rubbing her eyes to try and see again. April gets to her feet. Demon Allie rushes her CODEBREAKER!!!! April hits the mat and is out. Out of the corner of her eye she catches Nikki trying to make her way to her feet. Demon Allie grabs Nikki's hand and pulls her to her feet. As Nikki attempts to let go of her hand and walk away Demon allie pulls her back in CODEBREAKER!!!!!!
[Mauro Ranallo] I can't even watch this. I understand April but Nikki to this is just uncalled for.
[Corey Graves] This is what i'm talking about this is the best thing ever Demon Allie laid both women out proving to all she can stand with the best.
Demon Allie stands over both women then walks to the ropes and calls for a mic
[Demon Allie] APRIL! APRIL! APRIL! Poor little April we hope you didn't think that we forgot what you did a year ago. You see we were just planning on when to strike you. You have always been our target since we returned. We were just waiting for you to take your gaurd down and you have. You see when Rosemary was set on fire it triggered something in us. Something we won't be able to control. You think that one point you were about the darkness. ha ha ha You know nothing about the darkness. But we can show you what it's really capable of. You have unleashed our inner demon and we will take you out.
Demon Allie kneels towards Nikki
[Demon Allie] Nikki you were in the right place just at the wrong time. Don't take this to personal but she's ours to take out you will get your chance but for now get in line. Because we would hate to see something bad happen to you as well. So do us all a favor next time you have the urge to take April don't.
Demon Allie goes to ring side and gets under the ring. She pulls out a bucket of blood and reenters the ring. Demon Allie dips one finger in and puts an H on the forehead for April.
[Demon Allie] Now we seen when April marked and A on Nikki. Well we are more fond of the letter H as in Hive. AS IN FOLLOW THE HIVE.
Demon Allie drops the mic as her theme plays and she exits to backstage

A loud cheer erupts from the crowd as Eli Drake sits up, grinning ear to ear, after pinning Andrade "Cien" Almas.
He stands to his feet, and throws his fist high into the air.
[Corey Graves] ELI HAS DONE IT! HE WILL BE GOING TO WARZONE TO FIGHT AJ STYLES FOR THE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE!
[Mauro Ranallo] He wasn't kidding..When you got Eli Drake in a big match you better place on all your bets on him to go big.
The ref walks over to Eli, and grabs his wrist then raises it high. Eli closes his eyes taking in this moment for it is his to cherish. He opens his eyes, and the ref releases his grip of his wrist. Eli motions for a microphone, and one is quickly brought over to him. He looks directly in front of him, where the hard cam is placed, into the sea of people that is the XWL Universe.
["The Elite Wrestler of XWL" Eli Drake] San Antonio! He then goes to his left, and looks out into the crowd as they cheer.
["The Elite Wrestler of XWL" Eli Drake] San Antonio!
Again he moves over to his left looking outward into the crowd.
["The Elite Wrestler of XWL" Eli Drake] San Antonio!
He then walks into the middle of the ring, and lifts the mic into the air pointed downward. He lifts his head, and yells into the mic.
["The Elite Wrestler of XWL" Eli Drake] LEMME TALK TO YOU!
Eli brings the mic down back to normal height, and brings his head back down.
["The Elite Wrestler of XWL" Eli Drake] Boy do I feel damn good right now. There shouldn't be anymore questions about me being Elite after that. Now the question that remains to be answered, but will be answered at WarZone. What is better being Phenomenal or being Elite. Here is a little hint for ya. If you say Phenomenal you are a dummy, because AJ Styles won't be holding that title for long. His reign ends at WarZone...
Eli smiles as he oozes charisma.
["The Elite Wrestler of XWL" Eli Drake] Now speaking of titles... I know I came to the show a little late, because some dummies down at the airport lost my luggage, and I had to wait for it to get here. Did I hear correctly that we have a tag team division now? I wanna throw my name into the tag division, but sadly at the moment I don't have a partner. So I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to extend an open invitation to anyone in the back that would like to team with The Elite Wrestler of XWL. I will strap you on like a backpack, and carry your kister straight to the damn moon! So who is it gon...
James Ellsworth walks out, with no music, onto the stage looking behind him making sure no one else is coming, and looks forward excitedly at the current number one contender.
["The Elite Wrestler of XWL" Eli Drake] Anyone else...?
James Ellsworth waves to Eli. He looks away from James wanting to forget about this hoping someone else walks up so Eli looks up to the ramp hoping someone else would come, but all hope is lost as no one show. By this time James Ellsworth is in the ring standing along side the man he wishes to tag team with.
["The Elite Wrestler of XWL" Eli Drake] Please anyone else but this goof.. I'll even take a ref at this point.. Eli looks Corey Graves who is sitting at the commentary table.
["The Elite Wrestler of XWL" Eli Drake] Corey feel like coming out of retirement?
Corey shakes his head as he knows he can't get back into a ring. Eli looks at James Ellsworth, and looks him up, and down. Eli shakes his head, and looks down.
["The Elite Wrestler of XWL" Eli Drake] Welp this back fired... ummmm do you have anything to say I guess about teaming with The Elite Wrestler of XWL?
-James Ellsworth- Eli...are you ready to be the XWL Tag Champs? Because I sure am. I know that if you take me and you take you and you put them together you get a winning sandwich of greatness! You are clearly Elite, and well...I'm the only undefeated superstar in XWL so I would have to say I'm elite too right? You know what I say, any man with two hands stands a fighting chance and together we have four hands so surely we can't lose...
Ellsworth starts to trail off as he sees Eli just staring at him. He gives a doofy looking smile and extends his right hand towards Eli, looking for a handshake. Eli looks down at James Ellsworth hand, and a slight smile crosses his face.
["The Elite Wrestler of XWL" Eli Drake] You know... I think this shall be my greatest test, and I am always up for any challenge. So James... you got yourself a deal...
Eli shake hands with James Ellsworth solidifying them as a tag team.
[Corey Graves] WHAT! Why would Eli team with him?!
[Mauro Ranallo] You heard Eli he considers this a challenge. So he is going to do the best of his ability to elevate James Ellsworth to the very top!
The last thing we see is James Ellsworth, and Eli Drake together arms raised standing side by side in ring as we go to a commercial break.

THE FOLLOWING IS AN ALPHA CLUB PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!
We go backstage to see the three members of Alpha Club, Chris Jericho, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens, waiting in their locker room ready for a speech as a camera is now on them. Sami Zayn is the first to speak.
[Sami Zayn] First off I want to start out by saying that Final Stand was absolute BULL! I was screwed out of my rematch by Dean Ambrose beating me be less than legal means and in my RIGHTFUL rematch, I was forced to try an win MY title back in a tag team match? Not only that but you had Chris defend his new belt in the said match as well. What gives you the right to make those calls Layla? How dare you purposely try to screw over your BEST in-ring performers you have on the roster and it doesn't stop there! You didn't even book MY best friend Kevin, like what the hell?
Kevin tries to calm Sami a little before Kevin now starts to speak.
[Kevin Owens] Sami, it's fine, remember Chris still has a chance to bring us the gold. He still has his rematch for the Intercontinental Championship and now has a shot at the World Title! Not to mention the fact Chris and I have the opportunity to become the very FIRST XWL Tag Team Champions!
Kevin pats Sami on the shoulder.
[Kevin Owens] Chris and I got this Sami, go get some food for yourself, alright?
Sami nods and walks off. Kevin Owens looks back at the camera but Chris Jericho still looks off in the distance. His mind clearly focused on other things than this little Public Service Announcement.
[Kevin Owens] That brings us to tonight, Chris. Jeri-KO back in business...
Finally, the multi-time number one contender looks over at Kevin. A less than amused look on his face.
[CHRIS JERICHO] I'm going to be one hundred percent honest with you. If you do anything to cost me my chance at holding three championships at once then there will be hell to pay. I have all the faith in the world in you because I know what you are capable of. I know that you have the potential to be a future champion of any championship you set your heart to. You are Kevin Owens and you are one of the most dangerous superstars in this company right now. I'm just being open and honest with you. If we lose then we lose... but if we lose because of some stupid bullshit... and it's your fault?
The idea of losing began to sink into his head and it wasn't looking good for him. The anger was clear as day, but Chris stops and clenches his fist into a tight ball until he takes a deep breath.
[CHRIS JERICHO] I'm calm. It's only the biggest opportunity of my career... which is saying a lot. The chance to hold not just one. Not just two championships. Three championships. I need this more than you can possibly imagine. I need this because holding three championships will solidify me as the greatest superstar to step foot into this company.
Kevin shakes his head as a look of shock washes over his face, he doesn't seem to understand the words that just came out of Jericho's mouth.
[Kevin Owens] I'm sorry, Chris, I must be misunderstanding you. Did you just threaten me? Do you understand we're supposed to be friends? There is absolutely no need for threats as we'll easily become Tag Team Champions.
Kevin shakes his head again and mumbles something under his breath to which Chris Jericho responds with a loud "WHAT?" and a strong mix of anger and confusion spread all across his profile.
[Kevin Owens] I said a REAL friend would give Sami his Intercontinental Title Match! You don't need three Championships to prove you're one of the best this company has ever seen, they already know that. Being friends with people is learning how to be unselfish and actually, help each other and not be in the friendship to only help yourself. That's what Bullet Club does, are you exactly like AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose, Chris? Using your friends to further your career and not care about them?
[CHRIS JERICHO] I'm not using anyone because I don't NEED anyone to further myself in this business. I have won more championships than even I can count by myself. It's always been me and only me... but I selflessly reached out and WANTED to work with you and Sami because I see the potential in the both of you. Sami Zayn. Yes. I can get him a shot for the Intercontinental Championship but I first I have something to prove. You saw what happened at Final Stand. I was screwed out of my championship considering the man holding my championship is the man I pinned. I ask you one thing, Kevin, how would you feel if that was you? I can only imagine the revenge you would want to take. I have that chance. I have that chance to take it and I don't care if it's AJ Styles, Andrade Cien Almas or Eli Drake. I want my Intercontinental Championship, the championship that I never lost, back around my waist.
Jericho hesitated. The stillness in his movements was noticeable and he lifted his azure eyes to his fellow Canadian. Then it was like a lightbulb went off in his head. The Alpha pushed himself from his seat and moved over to his suitcase in the corner of the room but maintained his speech from where he left off.
[CHRIS JERICHO] I'm sorry if I offended you, Kevin, but this is a big moment in my career and I don't know how many more of those I will have considering I am forty-seven years old. This is perhaps my last chance to make history as much as I hate to admit this. Warzone was the stage where I first made history by becoming the very first Intercontinental Champion and I am honored knowing I get to say I am going to become the first ever Tag Team Champions with a wrestler of your caliber. That is why I got you something to celebrate this momentous occasion in our careers.
Jericho turned and in his hands, he held up a shirt that showed the logo for Alpha Club. No longer just the face of Jericho himself but it had a lion on it - a very fitting animal to represent this Club and not just because Jericho was commonly associated with lions either. They were the Kings of this jungle. They were majestic yet deadly. Watching them work as a team to counter each other's weaknesses was breathtaking. It was truly perfect for Alpha Club - at least in their eyes surely. Most fans and other wrestlers would've probably placed a donkey on the front of the shirt since everyone else thought they were a bunch of assholes.
[CHRIS JERICHO] MATCHING SHIRTS!
[Kevin Owens] You're right Chris, I'm sorry I snapped at you. Sami and I have our whole careers ahead of us while yours is nearing its end. Sami knows what this means to you as well and I know for a fact he would never ask you to give an opportunity to him.
Kevin glances at the new shirts as tears start to fill his eyes, he wipes them away and continues to speak

Speaking of, I don't know if you can feel it but that shirt is made out of wool from the Vucana sheep which not only is the national animal of Peru... but the most expensive wool in the world. That's the kind of friend I consider you and Sami. The kind of friend who I would pay to have the best of the best of the best shirt possible. Now, back to what I was saying about us being men... Men win championships, go out, get drunk and rub it in everyone's faces. That is what we are going to do and you wanna know why? Because we are the Alphas of this tag division.

With the night after Final Stand proving to be full of shocking moments and overall excitement, the show moves right along returning to where it began with a word from our commentary team.
[Mauro Ranallo] Tonight as we discuss the fallout of the biggest show of the XWL Calendar year, of course there was nothing bigger than our Main-Event.
[Corey Graves] The things that Natalya & Sasha did to each other, and continued to fight through still has my jaw on the floor.
[Mauro Ranallo] Without a doubt it will go down as one of the greatest Main-Events of Final Stand in history. The Women had a tall order to fill, and they didn't just fill it, they raised the order for the Superstars that are in charge of filling it next year. The pressure of not only being The Main-Event, after the likes of JBL Vs Matt Sydal...or Chad Gables Vs Chris Sabin...or of course The Winners Take All Tag-Team Match for The Intercontinental & World Heavyweight Championships between The Alpha Club & The Bullet Club...but also as the FIRST Female Main-Event on the grandest stage of them all...is enough to fill either of those Women with nerves that would cast a blemish on their moment. But Corey, I didn't see any nerves.
[Corey Graves] They came out there not to worry about what everyone else did before them, but to worry about leaving that ring as Women's Champion. Of settling their long storied rivalry once and for all, of leaving it all in that ring so that while they may be the first female Main-Event at Final Stand...they wouldn't be the last. Sasha risked her life leaping off the top of that Cell, and every single time that Natalya refused to stay down, she risked her very career. It lived up to it's hype, it silenced any doubter that questioned their placement on the card, it was historic...but for more reasons than just the fact it was a first time ever occurrence.
[Mauro Ranallo] Natalya of course is STILL our Women's Champion...continuing a Pay-Per-View winning streak that began at Roulette back in October of last year. Truly an unstoppable run The Queen of Harts has been on, huh Corey?
[Corey Graves] If I hadn't of seen it all begin with my very eyes I wouldn't believe it. But every event since then, she has just risen higher and higher, the wins getting bigger than the last.
[Mauro Ranallo] It was a night of redemption for Natalya, who of course 8 years ago at Final Stand lost The Divas Championship to Michelle McCool via what became known as The XWL Screwjob. When General Manager at the time Vickie Guerrero along with Michelle's other half of Lay-Cool, Layla conspired to screw Natalya out of her title. And for 8 years, she couldn't put the pieces back together, that night haunted her. But she returned to Final Stand as Champion, ready to rewrite the past, and she did that.
[Corey Graves] After that special moment and she walked through the curtain, I'm told most of our Superstars were waiting to show their respect to Natalya, and even Sasha for the match they had. But after Natalya made her way through the sea of fellow Superstars Dasha Fuentes actually managed to find out how she felt in that moment, and as you can imagine Natalya was over the moon over her new Final Stand moment.
As Corey says that final word, the screen quickly cuts away, and the very footage he speaks of begins to play. Natalya is shown a literal mess, her makeup all over the place, as is her hair, she's only really had time to wipe away the blood that had oozed from her nose. It's clear just looking at her that she's been to hell and back, literally. But even through the war she just came out of, to be standing here STILL Women's Champion...officially claiming redemption she never thought she'd have...nothing can erase the smile off of her face right now.
[Dasha Fuentes] AND STILL XWL Women's Champion...Natalya, what is going through your mind right now after the hell in literal sense, that you just went through?
She coughs as she tries to open her mouth to speak, grabbing at her nose that we suspect has been broken, but after that slight moment of hesitation the smile reemerges on her face as she speaks.
[Natalya] I just, I can't believe it...after...all these years...I...
Little tears start to roll down her face as she's clearly so overwhelmed with emotion that trying to formulate coherent words is rather difficult on top of the other issues like the incredible pain she must be in. Her eyes lower down to the title on her shoulder as she wipes the joyful tears away.
[Natalya] This moment, this night, this entire journey...I'm never going to forget this feeling. The happiness...the pride of carrying this Championship with the integrity I so desperately wanted to prove was possible all this time. I don't know what to say, Dasha. I did it...I came back from the lowest point in my career, and...now I'm the highest I've ever been. It's hard truly describe what it feels like. To hear those fans, to see all those Superstars just now applauding me...telling me they were happy, and feeling like they meant it. All of them have seen me at my worst, everyone in The XWL Universe has...and now, they finally get to see me at my best, and that's something you just can't put into words.
[Dasha Fuentes] Obviously you're very emotional, and I think we're all emotional for you too. Because, this wasn't just any match, this was everything as you said you never thought would be possible. To not only return to Final Stand 8 years later as Champion again, but to have the opportunity to defend that title, now in The First Female Main-Event, and do so against a Woman you had such great respect for at one time, that grew into this intense hatred, of a rivalry that has captivated all of us through it's entirety. And then to retain, your Championship...to STILL be Women's Champion. You achieved redemption, every failure is nothing in comparison to what you have done tonight, what you've done the last 8 months. Talk to us about the match, social media of course has been praising it from the very beginning and they are still talking about it. What did you think, aside from the obvious of being the victor?
Again, she takes a moment to admire The Women's Championship in her possession, it's all she ever wanted. And to have held onto it through first an Elimination Chamber against 5 of XWL's top Superstars, and now inside Hell in a Cell against her greatest foe Sasha Banks, it's almost hard for her to believe.
[Natalya] I'm proud, all the drama aside, once we stepped inside that Cell, the gloves were off. No more talking, just fighting. For our dreams, for our moment, I may not like Sasha, and it's hard to even explain what I think of her after a match like that. I'm really confused on that, I think I got out a lot of my frustration for her, especially in that final minute when I made her toes touch her head with a Sharpshooter straight from my family to her as a reminder of what she did to them, and what that memory helped me to do her. It's difficult to really remember the match, I remember getting hit in the head a lot, I think at one point I was trying to get the taste of my own blood dripping from my nose down to my mouth out of my mouth. It's a blur honestly, but the crowd was amazing from the beginning to the end. The support they gave me, the love...the respect they gave us in that match. It just makes everything that much better. I will cherish this night for the rest of my life.
[Dasha Fuentes] Sasha Banks of course, at one time was your best friend..but that relationship seemed to drift into irreparable territory. However, after the match, she did offer a handshake, one that you did accept. Can you explain why you would shake the hand of the woman that put you, and as you said your entire family through such hell?
[Natalya] I think, in that moment...I put my feelings aside, and remembered what I wanted my reign as Champion to be through all the years of fighting to achieve it. I didn't want to be like so many others that had such a lack of respect for this this title stands for. At the end of the day, this is why we do everything we do. It is the pinnacle, it is the opportunity to represent the division as you want it to be presented. I want respect, to get it, and give it. Because while someone may be trying to take this, I can respect the fight, and the struggle on both sides to reach that point where someone wins and someone loses. I may not have respect for Sasha, but I have all the respect in the world for The Women's Championship. If my challenger wants to shake my hand after I have just beaten them, and prevented their dreams from coming true on this night, then who am I to disrespect that moment? At first I didn't believe it was genuine, but when I looked in her eyes...I saw not the person Sasha had become, but who she used to be. So I shook her hand, and I gave her that much. I do not forgive her, nor do i plan to reconcile our differences but tonight was not just about my redemption, it was about this division receiving the recognition it has fought for the last 10 years. Pettiness had no place in that ring, it never does have a place, and while part of me wanted to disrespect her as she has disrespected me so much in the past...that is not who I want to be, nor who I have become. It is not why I am able to stand here after going through Hell and back, as Women's Champion.
Trying to articulate her words while still in a daze from everything she just went through, she pauses now. Seemingly to catch her breath, but as she stands there breathing in and out, there does seem to be a bit of a struggle that Dasha tries to not call attention to. As Natalya herself as her breathing appears to get more severe covers her mouth with her hand perhaps acting like she was just hurting from the many times Sasha hit her in the face, but that's clearly not the case.
[Dasha Fuentes] Very well spoken as always....well, I know you've had a rather difficult night, albeit very incredible of course. So thank you for speaking with me and once again congratulations, Nattie. We're all very proud of you.
Natalya's clearly in a very dire state right now, and Dasha immediately recognizing that goes into wrap mode, and the second she does...Natalya pulls her hand away to flash a smile, but in that smile you see a struggle...a struggle that as she starts to turn away, suddenly she collapses, and the camera immediately cuts off, as the next sounds we hear are. "OH MY GOD WE NEED A MEDIC! SHE'S HAVING TROUBLE BREATHING!" Along with the sounds of a woman gasping for air. With a chilling conclusion to what was seemingly a celebratory interview with STILL Women's Champion Natalya...we are taken back to Corey Graves & Mauro Ranallo as they seem disturbed as are we by the events that unfolded in the closing moments of that interview.
[Mauro Ranallo] We addressed at the start of the show that Natalya did indeed suffer a broken nose, but what we didn't disclose, due to events still going on behind the scenes...is that the displacement was so severe that as the adrenaline wore off, Natalya was as you saw experiencing issues breathing. Which led to her to collapse as Dasha ended things early.
[Corey Graves] Thankfully our medical staff is the best in the world and they quickly were on the scene and had Natalya in the ambulance and on her way the nearest medical facility for immediate help. Apparently she had gone into panic mode, exhaustion of course playing a huge role in the issues of breathing, and she was taken into emergency surgery shortly after being admitted.
[Mauro Ranallo] We just got an update before The #1 Contenders match for The Intercontinental Championship where of course Eli Drake earned the right to challenge AJ Styles at Warzone. We're told Natalya's breathing has returned to normal, there are no complications, and apparently she's laid up in her hospital bed watching Anarchy as we speak.
[Corey Graves] She is expected to be back in the ring very soon, doctors have recommended during this time that she takes a couple of weeks to rest up at home due to the severity of the break however despite Layla's assurance that she doesn't need to, Natalya plans to return to Anarchy, NEXT WEEK!
[Mauro Ranallo] That's right, as we all heard in her post-Final Stand interview, being Champion is something that means the absolute world to her. She feels it's her obligation to at least be here every week, and it completely killed her to have to miss tonight's show. Therefore exclusively we are able to confirm that she WILL be here next week. Until then Natalya, get lots of rest and once again...congratulations on your successful title defense at Final Stand we look forward to celebrating with you next week!

*Anarchy resumes following a commercial break to the sound of Johnny Gargano's music beginning to play.*
*The crowd roar in approval and excitement in anticipation of the arrival of Johnny Wrestling.*
[Mauro Ranallo] Welcome back to Anarchy and as advertised right now we are about to receive an update on Johnny Gargano's condition from the man himself!
[Corey Graves] Hopefully he can also shed some light on the events which led to him being carried out of Final Stand unconscious on a stretcher! Who was behind the attack? And why?
[Mauro Ranallo] Your guess is as good as mine but it's good to know Johnny is back on his feet after what happened. He may not have closed out Final Stand the way he wanted to, but he did a great job as the host and his match and rivalry with The Miz will forever go down in the annals of XWL as one to remember.
*Several moments pass by with no sign of Gargano. The cheers die down and a concerned murmur replaces them.*
[Corey Graves] Well, where is he?
[Mauro Ranallo] My sources confirmed Gargano had arrived at the arena earlier tonight. But this is unexpected.
*After what seems like an age, Gargano appears on the stage, helped by his wife Candice LeRae who is supporting him as he slowly shuffles onto the stage. He's wearing a neckbrace and is in some clear discomfort. His smile is not present, only a pained expression. The crowd's cheers reach a deafening volume regardless of Gargano's predicament as they give him the delayed welcome they feel he deserves.*
[Mauro Ranallo] There he is! Johnny Wrestling is here! And he's accompanied by his lovely wife, Candice LeRae!
[Corey Graves] He doesn't look as though he's moving freely Mauro. Candice is guiding him down to the ring.
[Mauro Ranallo] He is only human and after such a brutal I Quit match at Final Stand as well as the sneak attack he suffered in the backstage area, you would expect Gargano to not be at 100% here tonight. But he does look a lot more worse for wear than I imagined!
*As LeRae and Gargano near the ring, she carefully helps him up the ring steps before sitting on the middle rope to make it easier for him to enter. He does so, ever so slowly, holding his neckbrace.*
[Corey Graves] Johnny looks as though he's been in a car wreck. He really shouldn't be here tonight in his condition.
*LeRae grabs a microphone as Gargano's music dies down. A booming "Johnny Wrestling!" chant begins. He takes a few moments to take it all in before accepting the microphone from his wife. She then holds his free hand in support of her husband.*
[Johnny Gargano] Thank you. Thank you all of you. It really means a lot. Through thick and thin you have had my back through everything. Thank you.
*The XWL Universe's volume increases but you can tell from the expressions on some of their faces that there is a deep concern for Gargano's health.*
[Johnny Gargano] Now, you guys may look at me right now and see a broken man. A man who has been to hell and back... a man who has had his soul destroyed over the past couple of months and now has the broken body to go along with it. I wouldn't blame you, I'd think the same.
*Gargano looks down at the canvas with a deep sadness etched on his face.*
[Johnny Gargano] Final Stand was supposed to be one of the greatest nights of my life. Not only was I given the honour and the privilege of being the host of the biggest show in XWL's history, but I was given the unexpected opportunity to once again become an XWL Superstar and be rid of The Miz once and for all. And I capitalized on that opportunity by winning the most hellacious match I have ever competed in. With that victory I put everything wrong in my life right once again and I was on cloud nine. I felt that nothing could stop me and that the future was bright. For the first time in a long time, I was happy. I was optimistic. But then in the blink of an eye, once again all of that came crumbling down.
[Johnny Gargano] I was blindsided on my way out to compete in my second match of the night. You see... what you don't know, is that I was supposed to be in the Final Stand Off battle royal! I was supposed to be the final entrant in that match! I had just collected my number when this shadow appeared in the corner of my eye. The rest is all a blur, but when I came to I was laid up in a hospital bed attached to a drip with my loving wife Candice sat alongside me in tears.
*Gargano turns towards LeRae who is shaking her head in disbelief at the current situation.*
[Johnny Gargano] When I first woke up... I was confused. I didn't know what had happened or where I was. But I knew something was wrong. Something was very wrong. Candice explained I had been attacked. She told me the prognosis wasn't good. I'd been looked at by several doctors as she wouldn't accept the first opinion. But the reality was that I was in a much worse condition than they expected. I had no feeling in my body from my neck down. I couldn't move a muscle. I was done. Johnny Wrestling was no more...
*The emotion is all too much for Gargano at the moment so he takes a time out from speaking. LeRae latches onto his side in a hug and whispers some consoling words in his ear. The XWL Universe kind of senses what's coming. They've heard similar speeches all too often.*
[Mauro Ranallo] This is deeply upsetting to hear... but at least Johnny has some kind of movement now and was able to walk out here tonight, albeit not alone. He still has some quality of life.
[Corey Graves] I don't think this is going to end well Mauro. There may be some bad news incoming at any moment. And I have to say, that I am truly sorry for anything negative I have ever said about Johnny Gargano. He is a true fighter and it has always been a privilege to call his matches.
*Gargano takes solace in the words of his wife and musters up the strength continue.*
[Johnny Gargano] I'm not ashamed to admit that that night I cried until I passed out from exhaustion. I had finally gotten everything back that I had lost and once again it was all taken away from me, this time it seemed for good. And not only that, but now I was destined to live out my days being dependent on everybody else, unable to look after myself... unable to provide for myself or my wife. I felt terrible. The worst I had ever felt. The next few days after that, I lived in a constant depression. I thought I had already been to hell and back but I was wrong. No... this was true hell. My life as I knew it was over. But I needed to know exactly what had happened so just this morning, I made a few phonecalls and I had the security footage from the night of Final Stand emailed to my wife. We watched it together on her laptop and what we saw...
*Gargano takes a deep breath.*
[Johnny Gargano] What we saw was not what I expected! I was sure this was another of The Miz's attempts to ruin my career... I was positive this was his last ditch effort to ruin my life... but I was wrong! The emotions... the pure anger... I experienced at that moment lit something inside me and suddenly I could move again! I rose from the hospital bed despite my diagnosis and I knew I had to get here for Anarchy. And while it may be true I'm not in any condition to compete in a match tonight as the XWL doctors won't clear me, that doesn't mean I'm not in any condition to fight!
*Gargano rips off his neckbrace and throws it down to the canvas despite LeRae's protests and is all fired up as the XWL Universe goes wild. LeRae screams at him "What are you doing?" and tugs at the arm of his shirt as he turns his attention towards the entrance ramp.*
[Johnny Gargano] CHRIS JERICHO! I know you're back there!
*Gargano is as angry as he's ever been seen.*
[Johnny Gargano] You want to try and take me out?! You want to put my career and my life in jeopardy?! Then LET'S DO THIS RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW! GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE!
*Gargano slams the microphone down with such force that it's surely broken as an alarmed LeRae retreats away from her husband slightly. It seems even she has never seen him like this.*
[Mauro Ranallo] Is he saying what I think he's saying?! Chris Jericho was the mystery attacker?
[Corey Graves] He's delusional! He clearly took a hard shot to the head which has scrambled his brains!
[Mauro Ranallo] I don't think that's the case Corey! He said that he and Candice viewed the surveillance footage of that night! But this begs the question, if this was the act of the new number 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, why Jericho why?
[Corey Graves] And what's happened to his injuries all of a sudden? Johnny Gargano is a fraud!
[Mauro Ranallo] He's running on adrenaline! He probably thinks anything is possible right now, but trust me, Johnny Gargano is definitely not in peak physical condition. Not by a long shot! I don't think this is the wisest move to call out one of XWL's most dangerous superstars, especially given his weakened state right now!
*The crowd are going absolutely insane at this point, egging Gargano on. As Mauro stated, the adrenaline is surely coursing through Gargano's veins at this point as he shows no sign of any physical injury, despite it being obvious from this entire segment up to this point that he has several and is in no condition for a fight. Candice tries her best to talk him out of it but Gargano only sees red and is in full tunnel-vision mode. All he sees is Chris Jericho and Chris Jericho only. He stretches out both of his arms and beckons for his newfound nemesis to appear and do battle...*
*Then his theme music hits and Johnny Gargano is getting exactly what he beckoned for. The multi-contender himself emerges from behind the curtain and moves out onto the stage. He's greeted in the way you'd expect from the crowd: hate and disdain. Especially after all that they've heard from Johnny Gargano about what Jericho has supposedly done to him at Final Stand. Jericho's profile had the biggest 'are you fucking kidding me?' look that he could possibly form on his face. He already had a microphone in his hand and once his theme song, One Crazed Anarchist by Fozzy, stops playing, Jericho yells into the microphone.*
[CHRIS JERICHO] These accusations are preposterous! There is no way I could've been the man to put your career in jeopardy and do you wanna know why? It's because I was too busy elevating my career by winning the Final Stand Off so that I can challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship on top of my Intercontinental Championship rematch on top of my eventual XWL World Tag Team Championship reign to worry about an urchin like you. You have these people strung along on some convoluted story that never happened because you're jealous of me and my success. I was the man who pulled the number twenty spot. I was the man who last eliminated Pete Dunne to earn a World Heavyweight Championship match. I AM the man who's going to Cyberslam and that eats you up inside that you can't have my success! You are selfish. You are uncaring. You'd rather lie to all these people who love and support you than be honest to them by looking them in their faces and telling them that Johnny Gargano is a liar and a fraud.
[Corey Graves] Well, maybe Jericho is right? Maybe Gargano is coming up with fantasies and fooling us all!
[Mauro Ranallo] You really are unbelievable sometimes...
*Gargano smirks almost as if he expected this from Jericho. He shakes his head in frustration before calling for a new microphone having destroyed his last one. LeRae is still trying to get him to stand down and back away from this confrontation but he is having none of it. He's still completely fired up as he begins to address Jericho's protest.*
[Johnny Gargano] Liar... you're a LIAR Chris! How can you stand there with that smug look on your face, look me in the eye and deny everything? You know damn well that I pulled the number 20 and you just couldn't live with the fact that you had been overlooked for the Final Stand Off. You were so blinded by jealousy and rage that you snapped. You attacked me from behind so I had absolutely no chance to defend myself, and not only that you used a steel chair. You thought you had everything covered. Nobody was around and I wasn't going to remember anything after the assault, you made sure of that much. It was the perfect heist. You thought you could swoop right in, steal my spot... my opportunity... all you had to do was take me out for good. And you almost succeeded. It's true that I don't remember anything about it, but you didn't count on me getting a hold of the surveillance tape did you? You're a coward Chris. The only liar and fraud here, is YOU!
*Jericho shakes his head and wags his finger, continuing his protest. Gargano stares at him with cold eyes and an expression filled with hatred.*
[Johnny Gargano] You can stand there and shake your head all you want to Chris. I have the proof that it was you. In fact, let's roll that footage right now. Let's see if you can still play the part of a smug smartass when you're confronted with cold, hard evidence!
*Video footage begins to play on the titantron. It's from the surveillance camera Gargano mentioned and the date/timestamp matches the night of Final Stand. There is no sound at the footage is from one fixed angle in black and white. It shows Gargano emerging from a room backstage at Final Stand holding a number ball. It's clearly shown to be number 20 as he rotates it excitedly in his hands. Despite his many cuts and bruises from the I Quit match earlier that night, Gargano is upbeat and appears to be in a great mood, no doubt hyped for the biggest match of his life just moments away. For once, the odds appear to be in his favour. As the final entrant in the Final Stand Off, he could be heavily favoured to win the whole thing and go on to have an opportunity to become World Heavyweight Champion!*
[Corey Graves] It all seems innocent enough so far.
*Suddenly out of nowhere a figure wearing a black hoodie with the hood up rushes onto the scene with a steel chair in hand and lands a huge shot to the back of Gargano's head. Gargano goes down instantly but the attacker continues. Chair shots are landed on every part of his body, although the majority are around the neck/head area as the assailant knows this is how you cause the most damage to a person. It is a sickening sight to watch as what must be close to 30 chairshots are shown. Gargano is obviously out of it completely, as the attacker finally relents. The lift the mangled chair up, exhausted from their onslaught and throw it down next to Gargano. They pull back their hood to wipe away their sweat from their forehead, revealing themselves to be none other than Chris Jericho! A huge roar of boos rises up from the XWL Universe as the footage becomes a still image of his face.*
[Mauro Ranallo] Well, there we have it! As if there was ever any doubt.
[Corey Graves] I'm sure Jericho had his reasons.
[Mauro Ranallo] Reasons? For stealing another man's opportunity? For almost ending another man's career? For almost crippling another human being?
*Gargano seethes and his eyes narrow as he awaits Jericho's reaction. Jericho does not respond how you would expect. He smirks, once again...*
[CHRIS JERICHO] That's clearly not me.
*Gargano erupts at Jericho's defiance. He starts pacing around the ring angrily still dodging the calming influence of his wife. He once again turns his attention towards Jericho.*
[Johnny Gargano] Enough of the crap Jericho! I've had it with you! Why don't you come down to this ring right now and try to finish the job?!
*Again, Gargano slams the mic down, probably breaking this one too and gestures for Jericho to make his way down the ramp. LeRae stand in front of him and begs him not to do this, but he walks around her and leans into the ropes, begging Jericho to come on down.*
[CHRIS JERICHO] Because I have a question to ask you before I do anything: what is THAT doing in the ring?
*Jericho pointed down to the ring and there was some confusion at first between the husband and the wife. Candice LeRae pointed to herself and asked if she was talking about her and Jericho confirmed that he was indeed talking to her. Gargano makes a remark about how she can be left out of this but that, of course, won't stop Jericho from saying whatever it is he has to say.*
[CHRIS JERICHO] Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a wild animal loose in the ring! Why is she here tonight!? Well, I think I know the answer why... because I saw down the road that Brazzers was hiring trained professionals to star in the leading roll of their next feature film but they took one good look at you, knowing how many balls you've grabbed over the span of your career, and they declared you overqualified for this job so here you are! Stuck by your husbands side and I would suggest grabbing his to keep yourself preoccupied... but we all know Johnny Gargano has no balls because The Miz took them from him.
*That was it, Johnny Gargano snaps. Jericho's insults of his manhood and his wife were going too far. He can't just stand by and let those words go unpunished. Despite LeRae's efforts to talk him down yet again, Gargano is out of the ring like a flash, sprinting toward Jericho as the fans go crazy.*
[Mauro Ranallo] I have a bad feeling that this won't end well.
[Corey Graves] Not for Johnny! What is he thinking?! He's lucky to be able to walk let alone fight!
*Suddenly Gargano is stopped in his tracks by a wall of tall men built like brickhouses. Each of them are twice his size and each are wearing a black shirt emblazoned with the word "Security" over their left pectoral area. Jericho smirks.*
[CHRIS JERICHO] Johnny... Johnny... Johnny... did you really think I was going to lower myself to your level and fight you? You should just be grateful that I took the time out of my busy day as a contender for three championships to even grace you with my presence out here.
[Mauro Ranallo] Chris Jericho is despicable!
[Corey Graves] No Mauro... Chris Jericho is a genius! That is why he is arguably the greatest XWL Superstar of all time.
*Gargano seethes, knowing that there is no way around this mass of humanity standing before him... but he's going to try! He launches himself at the nearest security guard with a forearm, taking him by surprise and making him stumble for a moment, before throwing fists wildly at anyone or anything close to him. The crowd roars in approval and cheers him on. A "Let them fight!" chant breaks out.*
[Mauro Ranallo] Can you believe this? Gargano is trying to fight his way through!
[Corey Graves] Because that's definitely a wise idea. Look at the size of these guys!
*Despite Gargano being up against the odds, you can sense Jericho has some concern about his predicament. If Johnny does somehow happen to break through, he does not want any of him, so he slowly turns around and makes his exit as Gargano continues to fight. The numbers game inevitably catches up to him though and the security guards take him down to the ground, subduing him.*
[Corey Graves] Bravo Johnny, bravo! That was a great idea.
[Mauro Ranallo] It may not have been the best idea Gargano has ever had but can you blame him for trying to get to Chris Jericho after all he has done? I have to believe that this is far from over, despite what Jericho had to say.
*The crowd begins a "You suck!" chant aimed at the security guards as they've cooled Johnny's fire. One of them asks him "Are you calm?" to which he replies "I'm calm." before they raise him upwards, keeping a hold of his arms to stop him from fighting back again. LeRae is obviously concerned for his well-being and follows as they escort him through the curtain and out of sight. The XWL Universe boos as Anarchy continues...*

As Anarchy returns from a commercial break we go to the arena full of fans who are still hyped from last night 10th anniversary of Final Stand. Suddenly however their excitement dims down and changes to a more.....disappointing demeanor as the theme begins to play. A theme that nearly every member of the XWL universe has grown to despise, especially over these last few months. A theme belonging to none other than.....
{Mauro Ranallo} Oh my god Corey, how is he even able to be here tonight after the beating he received from Matt Sydal last night at Final Stand?
{Corey Graves} Because he’s a Wrestling God Mauro. He beat the hell out of Matt Sydal just as much as Matt Sydal beat him, if not more. He probably would have won too if it wasn’t for that traitorous lunatic Leo Kruger involving himself in places he does t belong.
{Mauro Ranallo} You can’t be serious Corey. If Kruger has done the opposite and helped the “almighty” Wrestling God, you’d be praising him instead of putting him down in the dirt.
{Corey Graves} Your damn right I would Mauro. JBL has been on the short end of the stick for some time now thanks to Matt Sydal, and yet again Sydal slithered our of getting what he truly deserves. A good, old fashioned, beating.
As the theme continues to play the crowd boos as the await for the man they despise to show himself, which he eventually does. However as he shows his face the boos stop. The arena goes silent. For there is no limousine. There is no longhorns. No shit eating grins. None of that. For this is completely different. A “new” version of the man we hate. For as the man makes his way out onto the ramp, he does not ride in “luxury”. He now rides in.....
{Mauro Ranallo} Oh my god.....HAHAHAHA. You’ve got to be kidding me !
{Corey Graves} Shut the hell up Mauro. What gives you the right to laugh at a man in his.....position.
{Mauro Ranallo} Oh come on? You don’t see how this is funny? HAHAHAHAHA. He’s in a.....a.....A WHEELCHAIR HAHAHAHA.
For now Mauro is not the only one who finds this amusing. The entire sea of fans begin to laugh as the man who holds himself in such high regards is now confined to a wheelchair and being pushed down the ramp by none other than Virgil. JBL winches with each roll of the wheel as he gets closer and closer to the ring, ignoring the fans all the while. However there’s no way he doesn’t hear them. For their laughter could be heard miles away. As Virgil and JBL make it to the ring, Virgil locks in the breaks before moving to the front of the wheelchair. He grabs hold to JBL under his arms and picks him up placing him on the apron. JBL winces and lets out a small cry of pain, but the fans continue to laugh at his misfortune. Virgil grabs the wheelchair and carries it up the steps, places it over the ropes, and helps JBL through the ropes and back into it. Virgil rolls the wheelchair to the center of the ring, leaving JBL alone as he exits the ring.
$JBL$ Last night, the most devastating criminal act in the history of this company was committed. Now I’ve said this before, but last night was truly despicable. A man that for years has been the “face” of this company. A man that you constantly cheer for through all his trials and tribulations. A man who after all the hell I put him through, he came back and gave the the match of my career at the grandest stage of them all. A man that finally earned my respect.....
The crowd murmurs with confusion. How can this be? After everything JBL and Sydal have been through, And the fact that JBL is who he is, how has he earned respect for his biggest rival in his career? The. Suddenly they questions are answered as JBL continues.
$JBL$ ALMOST. Matt Sydal ALMOST earned my respect. We went to hell and back, every punch I threw at him he came right back at me with one of his own. He showed me he has persistence to prove that he truly is one of the best. That is, of course, until that backstabbing, lunatic son of a bitch Leo Kruger inserted himself somewhere he didn’t belong. He has the audacity to not only cost the Cabinet a victory over the Undisputed Jobbers in a tag team match, but then he comes and robs not only me, but all of you people from a long awaited victory and end to a bitter rivalry. I would say he robbed Sydal aswell, but I came to the realization that Kruger isn’t smart enough to do something of that magnitude. It takes a snake. It takes an over pompous boy. It takes a son of a bitch like Matt Sydal.
{Mauro Ranallo} Are you kidding me? The Cabinet were to one who came out first to help JBL
{Corey Graves} Matt Sydal nearly killed JBL. They were making sure he’s ok when Sydal attacked them. Then the Undisputed Era would attack the Cabinet aswell before Leo Kruger would stab his “brothers” in the back to seemingly join his so called “enemies”.
{Mauro Ranallo} That’s not at all how I remember it.
{Corey Graves} Well maybe you should go back and watch it again.
$JBL$ Now Sydal can deny all he wants, but that doesn’t change the facts. He has sent not one, but two “Undisputed jobbers” into the Cabinet in an attempt to unravel us from the inside, and I’m here to tell you we will not be taken out so easily. The Cabinet was one of the first groups formed in the new era of XWL, and we are damn sure the most dominant. But instead of being put in the main event, or even the upper card, we are subjected to the mid-show? We don’t deserve that spot and we damn sure don’t deserve the disrespect. The disrespect from the XWL roster as they continue to badmouth Aiden, D’angelo, and myself. The XWL universe every time they boo us when we ourselves are the TRUE “good guys” of this damn roster, but your all too stupid and blind to see the truth.
JBL wipes some sweat from his face with a handkerchief he pulls from his jacket. He is obviously very heated and upset. He takes a moment to cool down before continuing.
$JBL$ And finally the XWL board of directors. How is it that nearly everyone in the Final Stand Off is nothing but a newly found XWL jobber, yet they are chosen for the “opportunity” to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship? What have they done to earn their spot in that match? I’ll answer that question for you. Not a god damn thing. And as for the few, and I mean FEW that actually somewhat deserve to be in that match, why is it that I was not one of them. Hell for that matter why wasn’t a REAL Cabinet member chosen to participate? And finally the XWL website. It seems we have a new theme of “factions” taking over the web. Each section pinned with the faces of each of these groups.....that is, every group EXCEPT The Cabinet? It’s quite Obvious to me that XWL as a whole has a vendetta against us.
{Corey Graves} He does have a point Mauro.
{Mauro Ranallo} What do you mean Corey? JBL has been on the XWL website before.
{Corey Graves} Yes, BUT all these other factions new and old get their spotlight, why not the Cabinet?
{Mauro Ranallo} You honestly think that the XWL board of directors has a vendetta against JBL and the Cabinet?
{Corey Graves} I’m not sure of anything, but JBL does make a good argument.
$JBL$ But you see, this isn’t some realization I have just come upon. No I’ve been seeing this coming for a long while now. The signs have been quite clear. I knew that yet again Matt Sydal would try to weasel his way out of his ORIGINAL contract with myself, and that Layla would do absolutely nothing about it.....AGAIN. I also had a feeling that Matt Sydal would take this feud to a level not meant for men. A level that’s meant for monsters. Which is exactly what he showed me he was last night. A monster. He made an attempt at my life, shown by the very wheelchair I am now confined in. The doctors say I may never walk again, and who caused this? Your “Golden Ticket” Matt Fucking Sydal !
The crowd cheers as JBL demeanor turns to one of total disgust.
$JBL$ And you see, that is exactly what I was talking about. You call me the heel. After the hell ive been put through. After being crippled and forced into a wheelchair. After being brutally assaulted and cheated out of MY World Heavyweight Championship opportunities. And the only excuse your “Golden Boy” gives is because I was enforcing an agreement he himself agreed to abide? And yet you still cheer him as if he was a saint. It’s pitiful just how blind and stupid all of you truly are. But that’s okay. For everything as all of you know it will be changing very soon. The way you perceive the “good” and “bad” guys like Matt Sydal and Myself. The big decisions around here may sway in ways they haven’t in a very long time, or he’ll ever before for that matter. These events will change XWL forever, but I guarantee you it will be for the better. For the first change happens tonight. An event that began just last week on Anarchy. Allow me to take you all back to this life changing moment.
JBL points to the titantron as the arena goes black. A video begins to play of events happening just last Week.
Anarchy 7/9/2018
We go to a backstage hallway. And in this hallway is some sort of delivery man holding a package in front of a door. He knocks on it a few times and waits a few moments before it swings open.
{Layla} May I help you?
{Delivery Guy} I have a delivery for one Ms. Layla El?
{Layla} I don’t remember ordering anything, what is it?
{Delivery Guy} I have no idea ma’am, but whatever it is it must be worth something because your required to sign for it.
The delivery guy hands the pen and notepad to Layla allowing her to sign. She hands it back to the delivery guy and he hands her the package.
{Delivery Guy} Alright, well you have a nice rest of your evening.
{Layla} You too.
Layla looks somewhat flustered as she examines the package and walks back into her office, closing the door behind her.
The screen turns to black as the light come back on in the arena. The entire crowd mourners in confusion not sure what they just witnessed had to do with JBL. But it seems we’re about to find out as JBL raises the microphone back to his mouth.
$JBL$ Now im sure your all wondering “what did that have to do with anything he’s been saying”. Well allow me to tell you. But first, I’d like to invite the good Anarchy GM, Miss Layla El, down here !
JBL lays the microphone on his lap and extends his arm to the stage. The crowd looks to the top of the ramp and awaits their GM’s theme before it begins to play.
The crowd cheers as Layla makes her way out onto the stage and down the ramp. She wastes little time getting to the ring, obviously very busy, especially after her announcement about the new XWL Tag Team division. She climbs the steps and enters between the ropes.
{Layla} John I honestly don’t have time for your complaining right now. As I’m sure you’ve seen I have a lot to deal with being GM and organizing the new Tag Team division. You lost last night. There’s nothing I can do to force Matt Sydal into the Cabinet and you’ve had more than enough championship opportunities as of late.
JBL looks at Layla in shock. The look on his face is one in disbelief. For he feels like she just came out here and spit in his face.
$JBL$ Your kidding me right? You have the audacity to come out here, and address the new Tag Team division, yet you do not apologize or even make an attempt to rectify YOUR mistake?
{Layla} And what mistake would that be?
JBL chuckles but not in a happy way. On the contrary. He chuckles in an angry way, one usually would when they are in disbelief of what they are hearing.
$JBL$ See, this is proof that there is a conspiracy against the Cabinet here in XWL. The fact that you don’t see the problem in itself is a problem. You continue to look right over us as if we’re not even here. How is that justice? How is that being a “fair” GM? You give the Undisputed Jobbers a shot and not the Cabinet? A group that are nothing but a bunch of hypocrites who hate what a faction can do so they all come together and make the biggest faction in XWL. The Kyohi? The disrespectful, squint eyed japs along with the traitor Kenny Omega. What have they done? And don’t even get me started on the Bullet Club. Opportunity after opportunity. No one should be surprised that they hold all the championships right now. Hell I could hold them all if I was involved in every championship match for the last two months. And as for the “Alpha Club”.....they are nothing but a cheap rip off of the already cheap Bullet Club. They all get opportunities yet the Cabinet is looked over yet again. I DEMAND an explanation.
{Mauro Ranallo} Come on now. More of this? He continues to blame Layla for all the shortcomings of the Cabinet. If they truly deserved to be in the Motor City Cup, they would be.
{Corey Graves} Please Mauro. I wouldn’t say she would sabotage their chances, but she clearly doesn’t like them.
{Mauro Ranallo} Boone likes them Corey !
{Corey Graves} Speak for yourself Mauro, I have taste and class.
{Layla} To be quite honest with you John, I really don’t have to explain myself to you. But seeing as to how I know you will never leave me alone until I do, I suppose I don’t have much of a choice. There is absolutely no kind of “conspiracy” against you or the Cabinet. That fact that you are not in the Tag Team Division is because you are confided to a wheelchair, which I am very sorry about, and because I knew D’angelo Dinero would be taking a leave of absence for a few weeks. It had nothing to do with the imaginary vendetta you seem to think I have against you. It was me simply doing my job as GM of this sho....
The Anarchy GM is abruptly cut off by the angered Wrestling God.
$JBL$ MY show. GM of MY show. You see Layla, you don’t seem to be realizing just what Matt Sydal did last night. He didn’t just put me in this wheelchair. He put you top superstar in a wheelchair. He is making an attempt to sabotage Anarchy by making it so that I cannot compete. He made an attempt to not only end my career, but to end my life. Which is the very reason I invited you out here. You see, you yourself knew Matt Sydal would not be allowed to make an attempt at my life or you would suffer the consequences. You signed the contract now it’s time to to pay.
{Layla} I never signed any such agreement or contract. And I never stated any such agreement so if this is another attempt to squeeze through the loopholes and cracks in the system, it isn’t going to work.
JBL looks at Layla in a calm and collective way, knowing she is beginning to get flustered. You have to know he is loving every moment of this.
$JBL$ Oh but you did. You see, that package you signed for was not just another regular package. You signed a contract. A contract stating that if Matt Sydal made an attempt at my life, and intentionally injured me, that the result would be your termination. You see, I have the contract right here.
JBL reaches inside his jacket pocket and reveals a piece of paper. The very paper she signed just one week ago which she thought was for a package, but instead was for a completely different reason.
$JBL$ This contract states that if Matt Sydal made an attempt at my life, or intentionally induced bodily harm to myself, you would step down as Anarchy GM !
{Mauro Ranallo} Oh come on. He can’t be serious!
{Corey Graves} He’s as serious as a heart attack Mauro. Matt Sydal took matters way to far last night, now it’s time for Layla to pay the price.
{Mauro Ranallo} She signed what she thought was a document for a package she received. She had no idea what it actually was when she signed it.
{Corey Graves} That’s why you read before you sign Mauro.
The fans in the crowd begin booing as loud as they ever have at this ludicrous announcement. They can’t believe JBL is trying to pull this scam yet again.
$JBL$ And in case you haven’t noticed “Miss El” I can’t even wipe my own ass, so I’m pretty sure this contract is completely justifiable.
{Layla} You’ve got to be kidding me John. First you pull this on Matt Sydal with a contract he never agreed to in the first place, and now your trying to get me to abide by some contract you’ve formed up and false fully provided as a document required for a package. There’s no way that will hold up. Stop making an attempt to ruin yet another life, go recover, get back to the ring, and sooner or later you’ll get another shot at the World Heavyweight Championship.
JBL begins nodding in agreement with the words Layla just said.
$JBL$ Thank you for wishing me a good recovery and I know that one day the World Heavyweight championship will come home, around my waist, where it rightfully belongs. However I thought you might not take me very seriously when it comes to this contract, but trust me Miss El, I am VERY serious. As a matter of fact, I’m so serious I invited someone else the help push the subject.....
JBL points to the stage as Layla and all the fans turn awaiting who it could possibly be, then as the sounds begins to fill their ears they know, if he is here, this isn’t good.

{Mauro Ranallo} OH MY GOD ! It’s the owner of XWL, Vince McMahon! What is he doing here tonight?
{Corey Graves} What do you mean you fool? JBL just told us what he’s doing here. Obviously JBL knew that Layla wouldn’t take him seriously, so to enforce just how serious this situation truly is he brought the president of the board, and XWL owner out here.
{Mauro Ranallo} Wait. You don’t really think he would enforce that ludicrous contract do you?
{Corey Graves} He way not have much of a choice Mauro. She signed it, she should learn to read something before putting her name on the dotted line.
The crowd is undecided weather to cheer or boo as the owner of XWL’s theme fills their ears. Usually this would mean some sort of huge announcement, but as we saw the last time we saw him with JBL, it isn’t always a good one. Vince comes through the curtain not doing his usually strut. Instead he slowly walks out with a sad look upon his face. He attempts to smile at a few of the younger fans on his way to the ring, but the fake happiness cannot shine through his sorrow. He enters the ring, making his way towards Layla who stands there in utter confusion. They give eachother a small hug. Look to Vince for answers, but he has none for her. He turns to JBL.
{Vince McMahon} John, can we plea.....
$JBL$ Ladies and gentlemen welcome the owner of XWL himself, Vincent Kennedy McMahon. A man that very rarely graces us with his presence, because he’s too good for the like of us isn’t that right?
{Vince McMahon} John please. Can we take this backsta.....
$JBL$ Well now your out here, so let me ask you. Why is it you and the board of directors have this vendetta against the Cabinet and myself? What have we done to earn such treatment?
{Vince McMahon} There is no vendetta against you John, please let’s just take this back.....
$JBL$ No vendetta? Are you kidding me? I suppose I can never prove that you have it out for me. No your too careful. But you know who’s not careful? Your little messenger. The one YOU appointed as GM of Anarchy. Miss Layla El right there behind you. She’s your “prodigy” yet she doesn’t even know how to read something before she signs it? {Vince McMahon} God Damnit, shut the hell up you son of a bitch !
The arena bursts into cheers as we see the classic Vince coming through what we surely thought was a sad demeanor quickly fades. JBL looks at him in shock. He can’t believe someone, even the owner of XWL himself would talk to him in this way. JBL looks at him unable to say a word as Vince continues.
{Vince McMahon} I don’t give a damn if there’s a contract or not. You work for me. It’s about damn time you learn it’s not the other way around. You walk around here as if this is your show, as if when Layla explains her outlook as General Manager and deems this the show that belongs to the Superstars. You forget she says SUPERSTARS as in not just you. I let you get away with your legal BS once before...but if you think you're going to force one of XWL's most successful General Managers, to step down from her position just because you couldn't endure all of Matt Sydal's pent up rage, then you've got another thing coming do you hear me?!
$JBL$ It’s all finally clear to me. I have seen the light. For the truth now stands before me. Vincent Kennedy McMahon truly is a senile old man that would be better fit in a nursing home than running this company into the ground.
Vince looks at JBL like he’s about to bust with rage, but JBL doesn’t stop.
$JBL$ You see obviously you don’t have the slightest damn clue as to who your talking to, so I’ll enlighten you a bit. I’m a successful business man myself. A self made millionaire, unlike yourself who has every due to your fathers intellect, not yours. I own Layfield Energy. I’ve written books. I’ve been a financial analyst on Fox News. I’ve opened a charity. I am truly a great human being, and I’ve become such a great man by most importantly keeping my word. You see Vince, it doesn’t matter if you want to or not. You don’t have a choice. Layla put herself in this situation and if you don’t do what needs to be done, my lawyers and myself will. It’s very simple. If The terms of the contract are not met, XWL is held legally responsible. So unless you want me to become your new boss in the near seen future, I’d make the right decision.
Vince completely changes. He’s no longer angry. He’s more upset like he was when he came out to the ring. A hint of fear in his eyes. XWL is the only thing he has, he can’t loose it. He turns to Layla, as they both try to fight back the tears.
{Mauro Ranallo} Oh my god, no. He can’t really be thinking about going through with this can he !?
{Corey Graves} He doesn’t have a choice Mauro. She signed the agreement.
{Mauro Ranallo} Are you serious Corey? She’s the best GM we’ve ever had and that’s all you can say?
{Corey Graves} It’s sad sure, but what do you want me to do about it?
Vince looks to Layla, as she already knows what is coming. The fans are in disbelief. Vince looks Layla in the eye mouthing “I’m sorry, I don’t have a choice”. Layla responds with “I know”. Layla starts to get emotional, she thought her last goodbye when she retired was hard...but she knew the writing was on the wall so she had time to prepare for it...but this, it came so suddenly...like a knife to the heart, a role she's taken pride in...a job that allowed her to do what she loves even if it's no longer in the ring they stand in. Vince himself seems quite unusually somber...he's normally not the type to show emotion like this...but Layla was his pet project when his daughter ran Anarchy into the ground with her heinous abuse of power. Layla had just retired the month before, and suddenly she was granted this amazing opportunity, to have full control. To run the show the way she felt it should be. No overbearing authority, no abuse of power, the focus wasn't going to be her, she was simply here to do her job. A breath of fresh air...air that now we can only imagine is being squeezed out of the arena upon realizing this is actually happening. Layla doesn't want to leave, but she's not about to let JBL see her breakdown. She's going to hold her head high, she extends her hand to Vince thanking him for what was nearing two years of being General Manager...but he doesn't shake her hand he instead embraces her in a hug. Fans are beside themselves...all while JBL is standing there with the biggest smile on his face as such a sad moment goes down before his very eyes.
As they separate Layla climbs out of the ring and begins to make her way up the ramp, taking hold to numerous fans hands as half the arena chants "THANK YOU LAYLA!" while the other echo anger over this decision. "THIS IS BULLSHIT!" they shout.
{Mauro Ranallo} I just...I can't believe it. She just introduced a tag division at the start of the show, something that not a single General Manager before her had succeeded in doing. It's the night after Final Stand where she was responsible for such an incredible show. I don't understand how this is happening.
{Corey Graves} I don't like it either...but what else was Mr. McMahon to do? The last thing XWL needs is a lawsuit, it distracts from our shows, it takes money away from our Superstars...and if JBL got in front of the right judge? That could be it for XWL as we know it.
{Mauro Ranallo} But we already had to say goodbye to her once before....I can't believe this is really it this time. She's really gone...XWL's longest standing female, the woman that since day one aspired to prove Women could do anything...is being cast out because JBL can't handle the fact that his abuse of Matt Sydal landed him in that wheelchair?
{Corey Graves} Sometimes lifes not fair...I don't know what else to tell you.
The now FORMER General Manager Layla takes one last look over her shoulder as she has a tear falling down her face...then turns around and walks through the curtain...unsure of if we'll ever see her again.
$JBL$ Oh boo hoo. What will we ever do without our beloved General Manager Layla? How will we ever get b.....
Suddenly Vince turns back around, cutting JBL off as he leans down towards him, seething with anger over what JBL forced his hand to do...but the fire in his eyes...is vengeful and full of fury...JBL may have gotten rid of Layla...but as Vince starts to almost growl, foaming at the mouth he gets right in JBL's face...and immediately we know what's coming next...
{Vince McMahon} John Bradshaw Layfield.....YOU'RE FIRED !!!!!
The crowd erupts in cheers now. Sure they just lost the most beloved GM of all time, but in the same moment they are going to loose the most hated man on the roster. The man that just cost Layla her career. They go absolutely nuts at the thought that they will no longer have to deal with any of his bullshit.
{Corey Graves} Oh my god, no !
{Mauro Ranallo} Yes ! Yes ! It’s finally happening! We’re finally going to get rid of him !
{Vince McMahon} Now get your ass out of MY ring, roll up that ramp, and get the hell out of this arena !
JBL looks up at Vince from the comfort of his wheelchair, expressionless. He doesn’t seem upset in the least. Vince looks at h growing angrier and angrier.
{Vince McMahon} Didn’t you hear me you son of a bitch? Get the hell out of here.
Still JBL doesn’t move. Instead a smile comes across his face. He looks up at Vince who is now as red as a tomato. JBL begins to laugh making Vince that much angrier.
{Vince McMahon} What the hell are you laughing at?
$JBL$ You obviously haven’t read the agreement yourself, so I’ll go ahead and tell you THE REST of the agreement. The first half stated Layla would have to step down, but the second half stated I would be able to make the decision for her replacement. And it just so happens I know a man that recently became jobless and has experience in being a leader. So ladies and gentlemen, your new General Manager.....
{Mauro Ranallo} No. There’s no way.....
{Corey Graves} Start believing Mauro !
Vince looks at JBL and his anger quickly fades. He just realized what he has just done. The crowd sees it coming and can’t believe it.
$JBL$ John Bradshaw Layfield !
JBL begins to laugh as Vince shakes his head, but he doesn’t have a choice. The crowd is in utter disbelief. They can’t believe what has transpired. Layla was terminated as GM, JBL was fired, and now JBL becomes the new GM?!
$JBL$ Now there’s only one thing left to do Vince. Shake.....My.....Hand.
JBL extends his hand to Vince as Vince looks at it in disdain. The crowd being to chant “don’t do it Vince”. He looks at JBL’s hand in disgust as he clearly doesn’t want to. But what choice does he have?
$JBL$ Come on now Vince. Are you going to shake my hand or do we need to take this to the courtroom?
{Mauro Ranallo} Don’t do it Vince ! Anything but this !
{Corey Graves} Hey Mauro, what do you mean? JBL would be a hell of a GM.
{Mauro Ranallo} One hell of a crook. After all we’ve seen tonight you honestly thing he’d be good for Anarchy?
{Corey Graves} Without a doubt. And you better start, because he’s about to be our new boss.
vince still hesitating doesn’t know if this is truly what he wants. JBL lives every minute of this because he knows just how excruciating this is for not only The owner of XWL, but every single fan aswell. Then suddenly the unthinkable happens. The arena goes silent. Shock hits everyone as Vince grabs hold to JBL’s hand, quickly shaking it, before turning and exiting the ring without another word. He is not happy at all, but he had no choice. It was under contract that Layla signed. And she had full reign of Anarchy, meaning all the power now goes to.....
JBL sits in his wheelchair with a shit eating grin on his face as the arena boos him louder than ever. For this is the biggest night in his career, yet the way he went about it is nothing but disgraceful, and the fans are letting him have it. But he doesn’t care. He got what he wanted. Full reign over Anarchy. Over what is truly now HIS show.
{Mauro Ranallo} I just cannot believe this. How is this happening.
{Corey Graves} start believing Mauro. We’ve got a new sheriff in town.
{Mauro Ranallo} What does that mean for us? What does that mean for everyone on the XWL roster? Or the fans? With someone like JBL in control this cannot be good.
{Corey Graves} I’m sure he will prove you wrong Mauro. I’m sure he will be the best GM we’ve ever had.
{Mauro Ranallo} And if not?
{Corey Graves} I guess we’re shit out of luck.
JBL’s music continues to ply as the stunned fans watch him laugh and look around the arena. He waves to Vince who has now made it to the top of the stage, making one last look back in disgust. The final image we see before Anarchy moves to a commercial break is JBL’s face, the happiest we’ve ever seen him. But just like Mauro said, what does this mean for XWL?

Normal Match World Television Championship #1 Contenders Match
After the fall of the ref's hand for the third time Adam Cole sat straight up for a moment raising his hands to the air; meanwhile the crowd splits in half, one side in favor of Adam Cole and the other jeering as their hopes had been with Kenny Omega. The match was very intense from bell to bell and this crowd was very much into the action that just took place, gasping in awe after every high vertical leap, moonsault, high knee, and of course, superkicks; this match was truly a sight to the eyes. In the ring, the look on Adam Cole's face was a look of pure excitement as he smiled widely from ear to ear, though we could only see part of it since his ridiculously wet hair was partly covering his face since it whipped in any direction. As his music blared in the arena, Cole took time to just bask in the fruit that he just reaped, sitting on the mat, his mind was racing with such an interesting opportunity to placed before him. After a moment of soaking in the victory by himself Cole then stands to his feet while the ref is making his way over to declare Cole the victory.
[Corey Graves] I can't believe it, Mauro; Adam Cole is the new Number One Contender for Dean Ambrose's World Television Championship. This man has only been here a few weeks and he is already climbing high on the ladder in XWL. You got to think: if Adam Cole is already this far along at such an early point in his XWL career, what can't he do?
[Mauro Ranallo] Not just that, Corey, we have to take a look at the bigger picture. Adam Cole isn't just a competitor fight out on his own, Cole is a part of XWL largest faction, the Undisputed Era and outside of just a couple Veterans of XWL in Leo Kruger and Matt Sydal, this group is a bunch of fresh faces to the industry. This is just one members' ability in the ring and the others can match if not top the performance put on by Cole tonight; that's got to put some fear into the rest of this locker room.
[Corey Graves] That's a very valid point, he is just one of many incredible superstars inside the Undisputed Era and right now at this moment, after beating such an amazing performer in Kenny Omega, Adam Cole is only making this group look like more and more of a threat. Adam Cole right now is leading the charge for the Undisputed Era's quest to Shock the System of XWL and is only one step away from reaching only a fraction of their goal and with such promising results after this first match, we can only expect to see success from the Undisputed Era, and from Adam Cole.
As Mauro and Corey, were at ringside giving their thoughts on the match and future predictions, Adam Cole was looking all across the XWL Universe had a huge grin on his face, he was in the spotlight and he was going to take his limelight for the moment, respectfully of course. Cole made a few rounds in the ring and got up on the middle ropes, taunting to his fans. At the same time though, Cole was yelling out into the XWL Universe many crazy things that may have not made sense to them, but they did to Adam Cole and were only shouted in an successful effort to hype up the new Number One Contender and amp up the crowd. At this point the entire crowd was now behind Cole, the half of the audience that was for Kenny Omega, had dismissed his defeat and didn't see it as too bad of a loss; really no man had nothing to be ashamed of in such a good match and they were certain he would come out on top later in his match for the tag tournament. As the entire sold out XWL crowd was now fully in support and behind Cole, Adam sensed the energy of the crowd and sensed an opportunity. Cole makes his way to the center of the ring and faces the camera. Following this Adam Cole squats in the center of the ring and drapes his hair to the ground and as this is happening the crowd is beginning to buzz, knowing what is to come. Cole slides his elbows onto his thighs and is now in position. He whips his hair and fingers into the sky and with all the XWL Universe they all exclaim:
ADAM COLE BAY BAY!
Following this the XWL Universe cheers and jumps as the feeling of doing something all together in an XWL event gives a person goosebumps. After doing his signature taunt Adam Cole makes his way to the ropes and hops out the ring. As walking towards the ramp he does one final thing acting like the cocky man that he is and takes a small bow at ringside for all the XWL Universe
Following this expression Adam Cole begins to march up the ramp, and upon reaching the stage Cole looks back one more time with a grin on his face before heading backstage to cool off and cheer on the rest of the Undisputed Era in their matches later on in the night. After Cole goes backstage the camera fades. we now head to our next segment.

*As The Undisputed Era's theme sounds throughout the speakers, the audience reacts in a loudly positive way. Cheers along with numerous signs in support of the group that aims to "shock the system". Within seconds both Matt Sydal & Roderick Strong the team representing The Undisputed Era in The Motor City Cup step out onto the stage ready to seize this opportunity just as Adam Cole seized his opportunity to become Number One Contender to Dean Ambrose's World Televison Champonship.*
[Mauro Ranallo] With the brand new tag division set to crown Champions at the end of this tournament..you have to imagine that The Undisputed Era may be the favorites going into things.
[Corey Graves] Without a doubt, they have been on a roll, from continuing to shock us all, to delivering when they're called to do so. I cannot believe that Leo Kruger is their newest member.
[Mauro Ranallo] You have to imagine they had a big reveal type of celebration planned to initiate Leo into The Undisputed Era officially tonight, but when Layla open the show with her own shock to the system...I believe their focus shifted to preparing for the team of Bray Wyatt and whomever his mystery new follower is.
[Corey Graves] The last thing they want is a shock delivered to them, they clearly like to be the ones delivering that shock.
*Sporting matching jackets Roderick & Matt stand at the top of the ramp flashing their signature "U E" hand gesture before proceeding down the ramp with a noticeable pep in their step. Things have been absolutely in their favor since joining together...and this is just the icing on their cake that they want. To outlast every other team, and to go down in the history books as The FIRST XWL Tag Team Champions. Soon they slide into the ring in unison and mount opposing corners motioning around their waists that of course their sights are firmly set of becoming the inaugural champions of XWL's newly instated tag division.*
[Mauro Ranallo] The question is, who is Bray's partner going to be?
[Corey Graves] He was very cryptic as always, but his confidence was very high. Firmly stating not only will he and his new member of The Wyatt clan be the first...they'll be the last.
[Mauro Ranallo] Bray Wyatt is a very terrifying opponent on a normal night, but add in the unknown that is his partner...and that's the makings of a difficult challenge for The Undisputed Era to overcome.
*Tossing their jackets to the outside, Sydal & Strong share one final pep talk between themselves as they turn to the stage awaiting their opponents. The look in their eyes says that even though Bray's bringing his own surprise, they're ready for whoever comes down that ramp with him.*
*The arena is plunged into darkness as the eerie entrance of The Eater Of Worlds begins. The "fireflies" slowly multiply around the arena before Wyatt himself appears at the top of the entrance ramp with lantern in hand which illuminates his face, showing an ice cold stare surveying the ring before him containing his two opponents.*
[Corey Graves] And here comes the ever unpredictable Bray Wyatt. Who knows what deviousness he has cooked up in that mind of his to guarantee success here tonight?
[Mauro Ranallo] Given everything that Wyatt had to say beforehand, it sounds like he has a masterplan to pick up the victory and advance in this tournament.
*A shadowy figure appears alongside him, purposefully out of the glow of the lantern but you can tell they're wearing a hoodie of some sort with the hood up to help protect their identity. Wyatt breaks into a maniacal laugh as the mystery man remains motionless, his eyes seemingly imitating Wyatt just a few moments ago by being locked on the ring, however you can't be sure as his face cannot be seen.*
[Mauro Ranallo] And there he is. Bray Wyatt's mystery partner. Although his face is obscured under a blanket of darkness.
*Wyatt begins his slow descent down the entrance ramp accompanied by his partner. The Undisputed Era's reaction can't be seen due to the darkness.*
[Corey Graves] What must be going through the minds of the Undisputed Era right now? You not only have to face the ever-unpredictable Bray Wyatt, but also this unknown entity in his tag team partner?
[Mauro Ranallo] I don't think you can prepare for a situation such as this. The Undisputed Era will need to rely on their raw talent to get them through this. And as we all know they have that in spades.
*Wyatt and his partner enter the ring. Wyatt spins the lantern around a few times before proceeding to the middle of the ring to blow it out. As light returns to the arena you can see the mystery man is knelt on the canvas with his arms outstretched, with his head down, still protecting his identity.*
[Corey Graves] We still can't tell who it is! I mean, we can see it's definitely a Caucasian male from the lower part of his body as he's wearing boots, kneepads and trunks... but other than that...
[Mauro Ranallo] No doubt Bray Wyatt is loving every moment of this. He is definitely one that thrives on drama, theatrics and suspense.
*Wyatt looks across at Matt Sydal and Roderick Strong who are seemingly making a joke amongst themselves about this whole situation. Wyatt laughs at them and says "You're in for a treat right now!" as he approaches his partner and pulls back their hood... revealing... KYLE O'REILLY.*
[Corey Graves] What the hell?! That's... that's Kyle O'Reilly!
*O'Reilly has a gritty determination on his face with a wild look in his eyes and his teeth bared in a strange grin. The Undisputed Era stop making their jokes and appear stunned by this revelation as do the fans in attendance.*
[Corey Graves] I can't believe this! Kyle O'Reilly is here in XWL!
[Mauro Ranallo] O'Reilly and Wyatt?! Who would've thought these two would ever form an alliance?
*Wyatt cackles more than ever as his new follower rises to his feet, unzips his hoodie and throws it aside, showing that he is also wearing a sleeveless Bray Wyatt shirt.*
[Corey Graves] I mean... he looks the part. He looks 100% committed to the Bray Wyatt cause.
[Mauro Ranallo] You look into his eyes though Corey and you see something different. Something strange about Kyle O'Reilly. This doesn't appear to be the same man fans around the world know and hold in high regards when it comes to in-ring ability. But think about this for a moment: this is a man who has history with The Undisputed Era. Someone who knows their members all too well from when their paths crossed around the world in various other promotions. He knows them better than anybody. This could mean The Undisputed Era makes an unexpected early exit in this tournament. And this could well be a stroke of genius from Bray Wyatt.
*O'Reilly exits the ring under commands from his new master. Just to get inside the heads of the Undisputed Era a little more, he is being saved for later. Wyatt pulls him close and whispers a few things to him and he nods, before the bell rings signalling the start of this matchup.*

*Matt Sydal goes crashing down to the canvas following the push from the outside by Wyatt's new follower Kyle O'Reilly. Both men are down. Wyatt begins to stir first.*
[Mauro Ranallo] What a match this has been! The Undisputed Era obviously have the chemistry together given that their entire group is a well-oiled unit but I'm surprised that Bray Wyatt and Kyle O'Reilly have gelled together as well as they have!
[Corey Graves] The powers of Bray Wyatt continue to surprise Mauro. I don't think anybody expected him to have O'Reilly as a partner, let alone last this long in a match together.
*Wyatt, now on his feet, looks down at Sydal and a look of evil intentions clouds his face. He smells blood and goes to his corner, muttering something to O'Reilly before arching his back and performing his creepy stalking walk towards Sydal.*
[Mauro Ranallo] You know what this means! He's going for it!
*As Wyatt reaches the downed Sydal he spins his body over into it's natural position, quickly picks Sydal up, kisses his head and delivers Sister Abigail, bouncing the face of Sydal off the canvas with devastating effect!*
[Mauro Ranallo] Sister Abigail! This one's over!
[Corey Graves] But he's not going for the cover...
*Wyatt looks across to his corner at his partner and grins. He drags the prone body of Sydal by one of his arms across the ring towards O'Reilly. As he reaches the corner, he makes the tag before lifting Sydal's dead weight.*
[Corey Graves] What is going on here?
*O'Reilly enters the ring and climbs to the top rope as Wyatt holds Sydal in position. O'Reilly dives from the top, catching an arm of Sydal and effortlessly transitions into an armbar on the canvas!*
[Mauro Ranallo] Wow what a move by O'Reilly!
[Corey Graves] It looks to me like Bray Wyatt is allowing his new follower to feast on the bones of the carcass of Sydal before they put this match to bed!
*O'Reilly wrenches on the arm of Sydal who is screaming in agony at this point. Wyatt watches on from the apron with a glint in his eye knowing that this one is close to being over as his follower carries out his bidding. Suddenly the back of O'Reilly's head sickeningly bounces off the canvas as Roderick Strong comes in for the save with a brutal stomp to his face, breaking the hold!*
[Mauro Ranallo] That was devastating! O'Reilly is dazed! This one should have been over!
*The match official escorts Strong out of the ring. Sydal is still in a bad way, clutching at his arm. O'Reilly is out of sorts and crawls his way to his corner, making the tag to the Eater Of Worlds.*
[Mauro Ranallo] Here comes Wyatt!
*Sydal has regained his footing and is looking over at his partner. But he senses Wyatt approaching from behind and he spins around with a big right hand, smacking Wyatt right between the eyes!*
[Corey Graves] Oh wow! What a right hand by Sydal!
*Wyatt spins a little before his entire body goes limp and he hits the canvas hard. Sydal quickly covers him with his forearm rubbing right in his face.*
*1... . . . . . . . . 2... . . . . . . . . . 3!*
*THE UNDISPUTED ERA ADVANCE IN THE MOTOR CITY CUP TOURNAMENT!*
[Mauro Ranallo] What did we just witness?
[Corey Graves] That was one heck of a right hand by Matt Sydal! I didn't think he had that in him! He has a right hook to rival any top boxer on the planet!
*Matt Sydal is grinning like a cheshire cat as Roderick Strong rushes the ring and the two begin their celebrations. Anybody would think they've already won the Tag Team Titles given how over-exaggerated their celebrations are! In stark contrast to this, a still groggy and confused Bray Wyatt sits up in the ring and is being consoled by Kyle O'Reilly.*
[Mauro Ranallo] Let's not take anything away from the efforts of Bray Wyatt and Kyle O'Reilly in this matchup. They showed they have the capability to be one of XWL's top tag teams however tonight was not their night.
[Corey Graves] I agree Mauro. The Undisputed Era advance, and in my eyes deservingly so, but Wyatt and O'Reilly have potential. They were initially a strange pairing in my eyes but after that match who knows what the future holds!
[Mauro Ranallo] Let's take a look again at the closing moments of this matchup and see how it all panned out!
*The starting point of the replay is Sydal already in the armbar, seemingly about to tap. Roderick Strong comes in with the brutal stomp to break it up. It then switches to the big right hand from Sydal and Wyatt goes down for the three count.*
[Corey Graves] And there's the big knockout blow...
[Mauro Ranallo] Hold on Corey, something caught my attention. Can we show the armbar again in slow motion this time?
*The replay begins again, although this time which had gone unnoticed previously you can quite clearly see that O'Reilly is slipping something onto the outstretched hand of Sydal while he's inside the armbar. Brass knuckles! The replay then skips to the knockout blow, and again in slow motion, you can clearly see that Sydal is wearing the brass knuckles which is why the punch was so devastating!*
[Mauro Ranallo] What the-
*The replays were also being shown over the titantron and an awkward silence comes over the arena as the reality of what actually happened settles in. The camera focuses on O'Reilly. The strange expression from earlier is gone and has been replaced by a sinister look on his face. The already dazed Wyatt is in no condition to react to what he just saw on the screen and is helpless. O'Reilly delivers a devastating roundhouse kick to the side of his head and he falls face first to the canvas, out like a light.*
[Mauro Ranallo] What are we witnessing right now?
[Corey Graves] This is genius! Kyle O'Reilly was in on it all along!
*The crowd don't know how to react so a confused murmur begins to rise in volume. Why is O'Reilly doing this? What had Bray Wyatt done to deserve this? So many questions, so few answers. Sydal raises his loaded right hand where the brass knuckles are still in place, casually and smugly blows on his fist and flashes a cheeky grin. Strong begins to laugh and approaches O'Reilly and they fist bump.*
[Mauro Ranallo] Do you think they were colluding from the start? Was Bray Wyatt screwed from the very beginning of his new alliance with Kyle O'Reilly?
[Corey Graves] It's no secret that these men have history outside of XWL and their paths have crossed several times around the world in various promotions. I wouldn't be surprised if this has been weeks in the making.
*Sydal approaches O'Reilly and raises his hand, but flinches as he uses his "bad arm" to do so. He grabs at it, slides off his Undisputed Era armband and twirls it around, making a show of things before outstretching his perfectly health arm, offering the armband to O'Reilly. O'Reilly of course accepts and proudly slides it on to his own arm, with a smug look on his face. The Undisputed Era's theme begins to play once again.*
[Mauro Ranallo] And there we have it. The Undisputed Era continues to grow! Is there any stopping them?
[Corey Graves] Just last week at Final Stand they added Leo Kruger to their ranks. Tonight they add a well-decorated, ultra-talented star in Kyle O'Reilly to their numbers. If you ask me, there is no stopping the Undisputed Era Mauro. Adam Cole's success earlier tonight as well as what we just witnessed supports that. Every man in the group is of the highest caliber and together they could truly be unstoppable.
[Mauro Ranallo] The system has been shocked again here tonight. This time at the expense of Bray Wyatt. The rest of the tag teams in the Motor City Cup and the rest of the XWL roster have been put on notice. The Undisputed Era once again make their own headlines.
*Sydal, O'Reilly and Strong stand in the centre of the ring, in that order, over the fallen Wyatt. They each raise their arms in triumph, before Sydal lowers and forms the letter "U" with his still loaded right hand, keeping the other raised. Strong lowers his own right and forms the letter "E". O'Reilly keeps both arms raised. This is the final image we see as the screen fades away to a commercial break...*

Anarchy returns from commercial break. The cameras follow an individual wearing a light grey sweatshirt with the hood up and the words 'Reborn by Fate' written across the back in dark blue logos with the Hardy Boyz logo painted in a bright almost neon-like green separating them. It's obvious who this was, the man that returned at Final Stand and saved Roman Reigns from an attack by the Super Athlete, and the crowd pops.
[MAURO RANALLO] Welcome back, Ladies and Gentleman, and coming up next is going to be a highly anticipated match between Rusev and the returning Jeff Hardy! All of this came about at Final Stand where Rusev beat Roman Reigns but he wasn't satisfied with just beating Roman. He wanted to hurt Roman... and unfortunately, he did. Doctors reported earlier that Roman Reigns suffered a more serious concussion and might be out of action for anywhere from a week to two months!
[COREY GRAVES] It would've been longer had Jeff Hardy not made the save and stopped Rusev. Knowing what the Bulgarian is capable of, he could've seriously hurt Roman Reigns and put him out of action for much, much longer.
Jeff Hardy continues to walk in the opposite direction of the cameraman. We have yet to see his face but he swings his arms and warms himself up for the match... and then suddenly he's attacked out of nowhere. Rusev with the Machka Kick! Jeff Hardy collapses into one of the nearby containers and falls to the ground in a heap. A few of the backstage workers around jump in surprise as they all glance over and see the Brute standing above the Enigma. There wasn't a smile on his face or anything. Only pure anger.
[COREY GRAVES] Jeff Hardy had this coming! He stuck his nose in Rusev's business! You mess with the bull and you get the horns... or in this case? You mess with the Bulgarian Brute and you get the Machka Kick to the back of the head!
Rusev pulls Hardy to his feet and then throws him back first into the cement wall.
[MAURO RANALLO] I'm afraid of what condition Jeff Hardy is going to be in for their match! There's no way Rusev is going to let him walk into that match being at one hundred percent. It doesn't look like Rusev is done though. It looks like he has more in mind.
Jeff Hardy begins to try and pull himself up to his feet but one stiff boot to his back sent him back down onto the floor. Rusev shouts his signature phrase, the words "RUSEV! MACHKA!" echoing throughout the backstage as he assumes the position to lock in his signature submission move: The Accolade! He has it locked in for a couple of seconds and Jeff tries to squirm out of his hold but Rusev is too strong for him to do that. Referees and producers rush the scene and begin to try and pull Rusev off of the Charismatic Enigma but they aren't able to do that. He finally let's go but the damage is done. Jeff Hardy has to be out cold because he's not moving. The officials shout at Rusev and tell him that he needs to get out of here.
[COREY GRAVES] I'm not the biggest fan of Rusev but can you really feel sorry for Jeff Hardy? This was Rusev's Final Stand debut and Jeff Hardy spoiled his moment for no reason. He had no reason being out there and no reason saving Roman Reigns. You know what this is, Mauro? This is revenge. This is revenge for stealing Rusev's spotlight.
The Brute walks away laughing and the camera focuses on Jeff Hardy who turns around. We see the face paint that he normally wears but... something about this seems off... something about his face is different. It's almost like this doesn't look like Jeff... but maybe it's because of the face paint and the style Jeff went with that makes his structure look different. We then fade to a commercial break before we eventually head out to the ring.
RUSEV UDRYA!
RUSEV MACHKA!
Rusev's theme begins to play, a roar of negativity emanating from the live audience in attendance shows their displeasure with Rusev's actions prior to coming out here. A few moments pass before the dastardly duo of Lana and Rusev emerge from behind the curtain and stand on the stage, Rusev holding the Bulgarian Flag in his left hand while Lana stands to his right. Rusev lifts the flag into the air, gripping it with both hands before swinging it side to side a handful of times, dropping it back to his side when he's done, causing the duo to make their way down the entrance ramp. Boos rain down on either side of them, neither really paying any attention to them. They make it to the bottom of the ramp, Rusev planting the flag on a convenient holder placed near the ring steps and taking a step back, allowing Lana to scale the ring steps at her leisure and stands on the apron before Rusev follows suit, placing his foot on the bottom rope while pulling the middle rope upwards, giving Lana more than enough room to enter the ring with ease. After the Ravishing Russian is safely in the ring, Rusev enters shortly after, calling for a microphone the second he steps through the ropes.
{Rusev} Cody. Roman Reigns. Jeff Hardy. One by one I have CRUSHED your so called American “Superstars,” showing you that Rusev is better than them all. Rusev demands better competition and if your “Superstars” can not give Rusev this challenge, then Rusev has to find his own competition.
Rusev begins to walk around the ring, looking out towards the sold-out crowd in search of this “competition” he seeks. Many members of the XWL Universe try to toss their name into the hat, whether it be due to a reckless dare from the person seated next to them or a genuine attempt to test their strength against the Bulgarian Brute, a majority of them are overlooked when Rusev finds his perfect “competition:” A scrawny looking male, which is probably due to the long sleeve shirt that stretches a little past his wrists he's wearing is a few sizes too big, with his best attempt at imitating Jeff Hardy's face paint (and trust us, it was a bad attempt at it) and an all black beanie covering any hair that he had - if there was any to hide. Rusev motions to this member of the crowd, shouting out, “You!” A roar of cheers breaks out for the proverbial sacrifice as he begins making his way towards the nearest barricade, attempting to climb over a couple of times before being assisted by a few members of the crowd.
[MAURO RANALLO] He cannot be serious. This is a fan! What is this going to prove?
[COREY GRAVES] You've never been inside a ring so maybe you don't understand what this is. Rusev is going to make a statement at this fan's expense. He is going to bully this fan and he's going to show no remorse. And then you know what's going to happen? This fan is going to get embarrassed even more when Jeff Hardy tries to come out here and make the save again but it's going to be different this time - Rusev is ready for Hardy.
[MAURO RANALLO] I mean... I get it... but I don't get it. If he wanted to make a point then why didn't he wait for Jeff?
[COREY GRAVES] Becausr Rusev and Lana wait for no man! They have busy lives full of... bulgarian and russian things.
He begins to scale the ring steps, standing on the apron and looking into the ring where a literal lion in Rusev is chomping at the bit to get this “match” started. Rusev turns his attention from his “prey” for a moment, repeating the gesture from earlier where he puts his foot on the bottom rope and lifts the middle rope, allowing Lana to exit the ring and take her place at Rusev's corner. But while this was happening, the referee calls for the bell, signalling the start of this contest when suddenly...
The fan runs up behind Rusev and rolls him up while his back was turned!

[COREY GRAVES] WAIT A SECOND! I BLINKED! WHAT HAPPENED!?
[MAURO RANALLO] That fan just beat Rusev but... wait a second...
That fan rolls out of the ring with a struggle in the world unlike when he tried to enter the ring. His black beenie was ripped from his head, long hair flowing from underneath and that oversized long sleeve t-shirt was ripped from his body and throw onto the ground...
THAT IS JEFF HARDY, LADIES AND GENTLEMAN! HE BEAT RUSEV!
The crowd pops even louder as No More Words begins to play throughout the arena.
[MAURO RANALLO] That man Rusev attacked backstage... he must've been a fake!
[COREY GRAVES] Rusev didn't know that was a bystander! He's innocent! This isn't fair!
Jeff Hardy has retreated to the top of the ramp and created plenty of distance between him and Rusev. Lana screams at Jeff while Rusev argues with the referee because he cannot believe what just happened. We then fade to commercial break with Jeff Hardy taking a bow at the top of the stage to the dismay of Rusev and Lana.

We are brought backstage and standing by with Mike Rome is the other woman who main evented Final Stand, the Legit Boss herself, though she partially lacks that familiar confidence we normally see her with, Sasha Banks. She's not in her ring gear because she wasn't booked to compete tonight for obvious reasons. Surely, she has to still be feeling the effects of that Hell in a Cell match in the main event.
[MIKE ROME] Sasha Banks. I have so many questions that I could ask you that I don't know where to start. I want to ask you about the match, I want to ask you about that Frog Splash from the top of the Hell in a Cell and I want to ask you about what are we going to see from the Boss going forward... but I think we should get straight to business and discuss what happened after the match between you and Natalya. What was that? Why did you raise her arm after everything that's happened?
[SASHA BANKS] Acceptance. I have been through a lot with Natalya and I have put on the most amazing matches with her that people are going to talk about for a long time. We main evented Final Stand. We have figuratively and literally been to hell and back and if there's one thing that I've learned from all of this then that's this: she is the better woman. I gave everything that I had and I still could not beat her. I hit her with every move in my moveset and I could not beat her... and as much as I don't want to admit this? Natalya is the best woman in this division and as I was locked in the Sharpshooter with no choice but to tap out... that's when I accepted that I wasn't good enough to beat the Queen of Harts.
[SASHA BANKS] I know that one day I will be good enough but that day was not that day. It's not going to be today. It's not going to be tomorrow either. Natalya is on a roll and she's untouchable. And it's ironic that I'm standing here saying this because eight months ago I stood in that ring and said how she was lazy and complacent but... things have changed. She's a different woman. Her morals are the same, yes, she's still all about empowering and wanting to bring competition out of people but... she's a machine in that ring and I don't know how that happened... and there's part of me that even regrets everything that happened because if I knew she was going to have the best eight months of her career right after I turned on her then... maybe I would've done things differently. Because this is the Natalya I want to be friends with but we all know that's not going to happen again. I burned all the bridges that we made and I'll deal with it.
[MIKE ROME] So... you admit that what you did was wrong? And that you would take it back if you could?
Sasha clamps her mouth shut and presses her lips together tightly so there was no chance that she could say anything... but the Boss still nods her head which is enough of an answer for Mike and the viewers.
[SASHA BANKS] I just wish that I had a friend to talk to and lean my head on when I was feeling down. I had that with Natalya but I ruined that. I know I have the Bullet Club. I know I have AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose and Finn Balor but... it's not the same. I feel so out of place around them because everyone loves them while everyone hates me. And they are the best of friends and I feel like a third wheel whenever I'm around them. They have this bond and they are teaming up in all these big matches and I'm just over here... doing what I do... letting people forget that I am technically a Bullet Club member... and losing when it matters which is something most of them aren't familiar with. I'm not expecting people to feel bad for me but these last eight months have been lonely. Natalya was my only friend and I ruined that.
Sasha obviously worked herself up a little bit and was starting to feel a little emotional the more she talked. She wiped her eyes and took a deep breath but it was still obvious that she wasn't feeling up to her usual self. Mike, however, did his job and continued with the interview like he was supposed to.
[MIKE ROME] Can you discuss what was going through your mind when you dove off the top of the Cell?
Sasha looked up at him as Mike Rome moved the microphone a little closer towards her. He waited for a response but Sasha shook her head at him and only said one thing.
[SASHA BANKS] No.
The Boss turned and walked off the set of the interview and Mike was a little surprised since he was clearly expecting to have a longer interview with her. As he said, he had so many questions but he barely got any of them. He starred off and watched the Boss leave before motioning to the camera to stop recording. The show then continues as we head back to the arena.

[Mauro Ranallo] Wow what a match! If Dakota Kai ever had any doubters about whether or not she could hang with the best of them, they've now been silenced as she defeated a very game Alexa Bliss.
[Corey Graves] Taking nothing away from the efforts of Alexa Bliss, but Dakota Kai put in one heck of a shift here tonight and no doubt after that performance she's earned a few new fans in her fledgling career.
*The fans cheer as Dakota rises to her feet and has her hand raised in victory by the match official. You can tell from her expression that this win means a lot to her considering Bliss' comments pre-match.*
[Mauro Ranallo] The result could have been oh so different had Alexa Bliss capitalized on the brutal Bliss-Missed curb stomp following Dakota Kai's missed double foot stomp, but she chose to add insult to injury by going for Twisted Bliss!
[Corey Graves] You're right Mauro. It seemed Alexa had this one in the bag but maybe she got a little greedy and wanted to rub Dakota's face in it a little too much. Ultimately, Dakota dodged Twisted Bliss and was then able to hit a sick Kai-Ropractor for the victory!
*Dakota looks down at Bliss and shakes her head, almost in pity and kind of like "I told you so" before turning her attention to the fans. She poses in her signature pose for them before suddenly out of nowhere she is completely flattened by a huge imposing figure from behind who comes charging into her... it's NIA JAX!*
[Mauro Ranallo] Oh come on! What's she doing out here?!
[Corey Graves] Clearly she didn't take too kindly to insinuating that her friendship with Alexa Bliss was anything but heartwarming.
[Mauro Ranallo] She's allowed to have an opinion, Corey
[Corey Graves] And Nia is allowed to stand up for herself.
[Mauro Ranallo] Oh brother...
*Immediately after decimating Dakota with one sudden body block out of nowhere, Nia tends to her best friend Alexa Bliss. The Wicked Witch is suffering a major backache after that brutal Kai-ropractor, grabbing at it to which Nia places her hand gently on it, concerned to see her friend in such pain. But as Alexa feels her friend's warm touch, it's almost as if it subsides enough of the pain for Alexa to pull herself up and shift her sights over to the fallen Dakota Kai. Alexa with a glare in her eyes...annoyed that Dakota did, in fact, beat her tonight, as she said she would earlier...looks back at Nia and says "Let's show her the power...OF FRIENDSHIP!" to which a devilish grin comes across The Irresistible Force's face. She grabs Dakota by her hair yanking her up, as Alexa starts to stalk her...is she looking to curb stomp, Dakota?*
[Mauro Ranallo] This is just wrong...
[Corey Graves] And again, it is wrong to besmirch the genuine bond between Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax.
*Fans are booing, as Dakota's getting ready to feel every bit of Alexa's five feet of fury. When suddenly..*
*Asuka's music begins to play, and the crowd erupts in excitement...as immediate terror fills Alexa's face...she was sure in her head that the days of dealing with Asuka were behind her, as if The Empress would admit defeat and leave her alone...but as her haunting themes echoes throughout the arena...Alexa stops in her tracks as Nia shoves Dakota back down to the mat and the two begin to circle the ring trying to pinpoint where Asuka's coming from.*
[Corey Graves] What the hell is going on? Doesn't Asuka realize this is over? Alexa beat her.
[Mauro Ranallo] To Alexa, this may be over but to Asuka? She seems to feel differently.
[Corey Graves] Who cares what she thinks! She lost!
*As the tense seconds near the minute mark, and Asuka is nowhere to be found...Alexa is growing more terrified by the second. She makes the decision that they're not going to wait for Asuka to come out here, they get to get the hell out of this ring and as far away from this arena as possible. So Alexa bellows out "NIA, LET'S GO!" quickly slipping through the ropes before receiving a response, perhaps Nia thinks differently, after all, she did end Asuka's undefeated streak by being the first to pin her. Before Nia can even get one foot onto the apron Alexa's already sprinted over to the barricade, not wanting to risk running into Asuka up the ramp. Quickly Little Miss Bliss starts to climb onto the barricade, not letting her short stature get in the way of her escape.*
*Unnervingly Alexa sits on the barricade, waiting for Nia to get out of the ring. Nia finally gets one leg over the apron to leave...when suddenly a random fan grabs onto Alexa's arm! Her face is filled with instant astonishment, not too pleased with this and turns immediately to face the fan with her arms out wide, yelling “GET OFF ME!”. A frustrated Bliss kicks her legs gently up to get the fan to let off of her. She is then yanked down by the arm, and twisted downward behind the barricade, in an unceremoniously way. *
[Corey Graves] Get this crazy and wild fan off of her, are they insane. You cannot touch the talent, and especially Bliss does not deserve that. What a lunatic, I’m surprised security hasn’t swarmed the fan by now.
[Mauro Ranallo] They are standing by and letting this happen because this fan can break Alexa’s arm in an instant, I wouldn’t provoke him.
*The fan twists Bliss’s arm until she’s disabled and then begins to stand up on his or her feet. Nia at this point is rushing into action, yanking off the hood as she tried to grab the fan...and what we all see, including Nia...was something we weren't prepared for...they're wearing one of Asuka's signature masks!*
[Corey Graves] ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?
[Mauro Ranallo] Corey, I think a fan was so upset by Alexa beating Asuka at Final Stand, that they decided to take matters into their own hands. Remember when Alexa pretended to be one of Asuka's fans in full wig and mask? I think karma's just come back to her in a big way!
[Corey Graves] For the last time that was not Alexa, she has an ironclad alibi!
*But as the person is revealed as a disgruntled Asuka fan...suddenly with their free hand, they begin to slowly pull the mask away...AND IT'S NOT A FAN, IT'S ASUKA HERSELF!*
[Corey Graves] LOOK AT THE COWARD THAT HAD TO AMBUSH THE WOMAN THAT DEFEATED HER FAIRLY ON THE GRANDEST STAGE OF THEM ALL!
[Mauro Ranallo] I wouldn't class Asuka anywhere near the category of a "coward." I think turnabout is fair play. Alexa beat her, so perhaps she's decided to dabble in one of Alexa's own tricks to beat her at her own game.
[Corey Graves] I literally just told you Alexa would never do something like this.
[Mauro Ranallo] And yet no one believes you...
*Asuka is standing there with her wild eyes and a smirk that shows she’s willing to inflict so much pain to Bliss that she can dislocate her arm, right here and now! The shrieking continues from Alexa, The close up shows Asuka gritting her teeth and slamming the arm of Bliss into the barricade repeatedly, completely smashing it with force. WITHOUT removing eye contact with Nia Jax.*
[Mauro Ranallo] Did you really think that Bliss could get away with more bullying and that she was finished with Asuka? She’s never finished with Asuka until Asuka says it’s over.
[Corey Graves] Look I understand making an enemy out of The Empress is a recipe for disaster, but all Alexa did is defend herself against her bullying, this is beyond uncalled for. Nia needs to be careful because one wrong move and Asuka could snap her best friend's arm in half.
*Perhaps not thinking, more so acting off instinct alone...Nia goes to swipe at Asuka, unsure of really how she can save her friend but she can't just stand there. But as she swings an arm forward, pulls the chair she had been sitting in perhaps the entire duration of this match, maybe even the whole show thus far...and almost hot potatoes it into the hands of an unexpected Nia Jax. Quickly fleeing with The Irresistible Force's hands full The Empress moves as fast as she can to get out of harm's way, and you can see Bliss in tears holding onto her elbow, telling Nia that she thinks she quite literally dislocated her arm in the exchange! Bliss whimpers and sobs at the same time, officials are coming to check on her. Nia's angry, furious...chucking the air aside as she can't stand to see her friend in such agony...she shoves the doctor's aside and scoops Alexa into her arms almost like a mother bear tending to her cub. She doesn't want to waste time at ringside Alexa needs to see a medic. As she starts to walk away from the barricade...suddenly the audience gets loud and screams in excitement...Nia looks to one fan with a "What are you doing..." before they simply point to the ring...where Nia's body turns...AND DAKOTA KAI SEEKING RETRIBUTION FOR WHAT NIA DID SOARS THROUGH THE ROPES WITH A SUICIDE DIVE THAT COLLIDES RIGHT THROUGH NIA AND ALEXA SENDING BOTH CRASHING INTO A HEAP AGAINST THE BARRICADE! Nia takes most of the brunt of falling into the barricade thanks to holding Alexa in her arms...but Alexa took a great deal of that suicide dive as well. The Irre-Blisstible Force is DOWN! And the fans are LOVING it!*
[Corey Graves] WHERE THE HELL DID SHE COME FROM?!
[Mauro Ranallo] If it's okay for Nia to blindside her and plow through her, I think again, turnabout is fair play. Dakota Kai will not back down from anyone...you take her down? She clearly, has no problem returning the favor.
[Corey Graves] But Nia was carrying Alexa to the medic, has she no heart?!
[Mauro Ranallo] I think she has A LOT of heart, and that's why she didn't let Nia get away with attacking her.
*Dakota jumps to her feet feeling the rush of the crowd as she steps up onto the barricade and throws her arms up getting more cheers in response signaling her music to start back up.*
*The medics Nia just shoved aside roll their eyes as they start to tend back to Alexa, and now Nia who sits against the barricade with a wicked scowl across her face. Dakota sees this and simply flashes a pure smile as if to say "Better luck next time." With that Dakota dismounts the barricade and begins to interact with fans celebrating her victory just as she intended to before Nia barreled through her in the first place. The last sight we see is a very frustrated Alexa screaming at a doctor as he tries to touch her arm.*

The theme of the Cowboy James Storm hits as he appears on stage and heads to the ring
[James Storm] Well. Well. Well. It looks as if miss Layla is having a little tournament to see who will be crowned the newly added tag team champions.
Storm takes a drink of beer and beings to speak again.
[James Storm] Well you guys as well as everyone else knows that I am no stranger to tag team competition as well as being tag champ. Hell i've been a tag champ a numerous amount of times. Hell I can't even count how many times anymore. I have been champ everywhere I have been. Including TNA before I came here. I dominated the tag division there multiple times so I figured that when XWL decided to bring in tag titles I would do it again with whoever I team with.
Storm holds up to different shirts. First shirt held up Americas most wanted crowd begins to cheer. The second shirt held up is the famous Beer Money and the crowd goes wild.
[James Storm] I was apart of Americas Most Wanted but mainly I was apart of the most Iconic team Beer Money. So that's why I'm out here to be a part of this tournament and reveal to everyone who my partner will be. You see when I heard about this tournament I had to make a call to one of my good friends. One who I have not connected with in a long time. I told him about this tournament and would you believe it he was in.
Storm takes another drink and speaks on last time
[James Storm] You see this person I called said it would be an honor to team again. He said that the many of times we teamed even after we split we never lost a beat so why would it be any different. He said that there would be only one difference. He said we would be better then ever. Wait no that's not how he put it. He said we would be GLORIOUS!!!!!!!!
Storm points to the stage as a familiar theme hits
The arena jumps out of their seat as the theme of none other than Bobby Roode fills their ears. Not only are they happy to see him, but they also get to see the reunion of Beer Money In the same night. As the theme plays the lights go out until the “GLORIOUS” is heard throughout the arena. As the light return we see Bobby Roode standing at the top of the ramp, back towards the ring. He is wearing a black and white robe with the letters G L O R I O U S across the back. As the song hits again he turns to the ring, a smile upon his face. For he is happy to be back himself, even more so with an old brother. He makes his way down to the ring, before climbing into it. He embraces James Storm in a big as they have not been in the same ring together for quite some time. As they separate Roode is presented a microphone from the ringside attendant which he takes.
Bobby Roode Damn does it feel good to be back. Not only have I returned to the GLORIOUS land of XWL, but I have returned just in time for the Motor City Cup, Tag team tournament, which is exactly what I needed to bring me back. You see ladies and gentlemen I’ve been sitting at home, waiting for a reason to come back. Waiting for something to give me the inspiration I’ve been lacking so much. I’ve been sitting at home waiting for a call..... THE call.
Bobby turns to Storm and smiles.
Bobby Roode The call that would not only change my life, but the course of history for XWL forever. You see, no one knows Tag Teams like we know Tag teams. We’ve been through hell and back, and more times than one we’ve held the gold. I figured there was no debating. I didn’t have a choice. I HAD to come back. We had a reputation to uphold. And if anyone can make the debuting XWL tag team championships GLORIOUS, it’s us !
Roode looks back at Storm as they both crack a grin at one another, both knowing these words to be true.
Bobby Roode But know this. Bobby Roode is no fool. I know XWL is nothing like TNA, WWE, or the indies. The competition here is a completely different level. But also know, James Storm and Bobby Roode have ALWAYS been on another level. So prepare yourself XWL universe, because the day of reckoning has come. Of its the era of.....
James Storm leans forward.

Gable's theme begins to play, causing a roar of cheers to fill the air alongside this theme, leaving the reunited Beer Money to shift their attention towards the stage. A handful of moments pass before Gable emerges from behind the curtain and stands on the stage, his usual smile and theatrics nowhere to be seen as he's taped up, still feeling the effects of the Three Stages of Hell Match with his adversary in Chris Sabin just twenty four hours ago. Despite the absence of his usual high energy entrance, he still finds the time to slap the extended hands of the XWL Universe residing on either side of the entrance ramp, keeping his focus on the two men in the ring. He reaches the bottom of the ramp and begins making his ascent up the steel ring steps, taking a hold of the conveniently placed microphone on the top step before he makes his way into the ring. He raises the microphone up to his mouth, but doesn't get the opportunity to utter a single word when he's interrupted.
the theme of our new GM begins to play throughout the arena as he rolls out onto the stage. The crowd booing him all the while, yet he seems unfazed. However everyone is wondering what he is doing out here, but it seems we are about to find out.
$JBL$ Well it seems I have some unfortunate news. You see kid...
JBL looks to Gable
$JBL$ It looks like Jason Jordan is MIA. Now I know he was your partner, and even your friend but I’m afraid the simple fact of the matter is the show cannot be held up for just one jobbe- I mean man. Therefore I decided that either you must forfeit you spot in the Motor City Cup, or you must take them on alone. I’m trying to set a pod example here in an attempt to make XWL Great Again, therefore I’m leaving the choice in your hands. So tell me kid, what’s it gonna be?
Gable looks at JBL in disbelief. Not only is his partner MIA, but JBL is already trying to screw him over the very first night on the job. However it seems he knows the simple truth. He doesn’t have a choice. He throws the microphone down and looks to both members of Beer Money, as they all are ready for this match to get underway, both “teams” wanting those championships. However just before the referee can ring the bell to start the match, the craziest this is heard.....

The unexpected theme of Chris Sabin now begins to play, causing almost a negative knee jerk reaction for the Detroit Native. A few seconds later, Sabin makes his way out to the stage, taped up much like Gable is and is looking straight towards the ring, specifically locking eyes with Chad Gable. A brief staredown ensues before Sabin shifts his focus towards a confused JBL for all of a single moment, turning back to Gable and making his way down the entrance ramp with purpose. With Gable seemingly being stuck between a rock and a hard place, he prepares for the imminent collision course with his rival, while still keeping an eye on Beer Money behind him. Sabin makes it to the ring side area and immediately comes to a halt, causing Gable to motion to him, telling him to “bring it.” Sabin takes him up on his offer and hops up onto the apron, Gable's reaction to this is taking a defensive stance, should Beer Money decide to take matters into their own hands. Still on the apron, Sabin looks at Gable for a moment before taking a few steps to his left, grabbing the short rope on the turnbuckle, causing Gable to look at him with a confused expression, putting together the pieces a few moments later. This handicap match has now become a proper tag team match, but why has Sabin chosen to come to his bitter rival's aid?

Twenty minutes in to the match sees a tired Havoc slugging a ragged looking Ambrose. The force of the punch sends Dean back to the ropes where he grabs the ropes and rebounds, exploding toward Jimmy with a clothesline that takes the head up off Havoc! Dean, with new found energy, gets up and beats his chest rapidly as the crowd too get behind him. Dean scoops up Havoc roughly and scoops his arms when a sudden shout catches his attention Aiden English is rushing to the ring shouting to the ref that he is cashing in! Dean pushes Havoc to the mat as turn to Aiden. English jumps on the apron with briefcase in hand motioning for the ref to take it. Dean simply gestures for Aiden to get in the ring. Suddenly Aiden simply smirks and leaps down from the apron, walking backwards. It is then that Dean is suddenly rolled up by Jimmy!

In his first match Jimmy has pinned the Workd Heavyweight and Television Champion. Jimmy quickly rolls out of the ring while Ambrose stares at the ref in shock! Dean turns his attention to Aiden with a look of murder in his eyes! Aiden simply laughs while Dean punches the mat several times in anger! The last shot is of Dean's eyes as anger and rage swim within them

Anarchy returns from a commercial break and upon it's return the cameras had transitioned us to the backstage area where The Intercontinental Champion AJ Styles could be seen walking down the hallway towards his locker room following his team's victory in the 1st round of the Motor City Cup earlier tonight.
(Dasha Fuentes) Excuse me AJ but could we have a few moments of your time?
AJ stopped in his tracks and turned towards Dasha and the crew.
(AJ Styles) Sure thing Dasha.
AJ walked over to Dasha and the camera crew and Dasha proceeded to ask the Phenomenal One some questions.
(Dasha Fuentes) Before I get to what's transpired tonight, I wanna go back to Final Stand if that's okay with you?
(AJ Styles) Of course, ask away.
(Dasha Fuentes) How did it feel to emerge victorious over the Alpha Club and walk out as the Intercontinental Champion?
(AJ Styles) Well it was a mixed bag of emotions to be honest with you. In that 1 history making 1st time ever matchup I felt a whole lot of pain in my knee for one thing, but I also felt defeat at the hands of Chris Jericho, but when the bell rang and the match was over, I felt the taste of victory as well. So to go through all 3 of those things in one night, in one match, it was something I'll never forget let's put it that way. I owe Dean a few cases of beer for pulling that win off for us by the way but that's another story.
(Dasha Fuentes) Well you touched on it slightly there but I wanna dig a little deeper into it, you won the Intercontinental Championship after getting pinned by Chris Jericho was the champion at the time, but now has no title to his name, how does that feel?
(AJ Styles) Well it's a little bittersweet I guess? the competitor in me is frustrated that I got pinned by him but that's just the way things went sadly. Love him or hate him Jericho's a crafty veteran and knows when to capitalize when the moment strikes and that's exactly what happened at Final Stand. I felt I needed to put Jericho away with a home run shot so I went for the Phenomenal Forearm knowing damn well that my knee was screwed, but it was a risk I felt I needed to take and as the entire world knows, it sure as hell didn't pay off and I ate Codebreaker for my troubles. I'm not gonna sit here and make excuses for what happened, my knee was maybe 10% at best by that point in the match? I took a chance and came up short and Jericho pounced on the opportunity to put me away and he did just that, full credit to him as I would've done the same thing. At the end of the day though, Dean pulled it out for us and that's what counts. Do I feel like any less of a champion because I got pinned? no I don't, because both sides knew the stakes going into this match, it was ELIMINATION meaning people were gonna have to get eliminated for the match to reach a conclusion, I didn't lose, I got eliminated as did Sami Zayn for Alpha Club. Imagine if the scenario was flipped around and Jericho pinned Ambrose? Sami Zayn would stand here today as the World Heavyweight Champion, would he give a damn that he got pinned? probably not. So it is what is to be honest, all 4 of us knew the risks, and we all damn sure took them to prove who the superior stable is, and Bullet Club did just that.
(Dasha Fuentes) Chris Jericho may have lost his Intercontinental Championship to you AJ, but as the world knows by now, he went on to win the 2nd annual Final Stand off which means he's gone and earned himself a World Heavyweight Championship match at Cyberslam seemingly pitting him against Dean Ambrose once again and bringing this war that many people thought was over at Final Stand, right back to the frontlines. Do you feel like the outcome will be the same as Final Stand and Dean will emerge victorious over Jericho once again or do you feel Jericho will walk out of Cyberslam as the World Heavyweight Champion?
(AJ Styles) I mean, Chris certainly posses the ability to win any match on any given night, he's a legend in this business, a crafty veteran who's arguably better then he's ever been, but I think you know that I ain't betting against my BC brother Renee. And even if he wasn't my BC brother? he's given me zero reason to think he's gonna lose that championship anytime soon, he's been unstoppable for well over half the year now and I have full confidence and belief in him to walk out of Cyberslam still the World Heavyweight Champion.
(Dasha Fuentes) Let's talk about the match you just had out there AJ, Motor City Cup Round 1 which pitted You and Finn Balor against a mystery team which turned out to be Eli Drake and James Ellsworth. I think it would be fair to say that many wondered how you and Balor would fare as a team as Balor's status in Bullet Club was in question as of late, so how do you feel the match went for you guys and do have any clarification as to whether Finn is fully committed to Bullet Club?
(AJ Styles) I think we did well out there, definitely some things we can improve on but considering this was our 1st time teaming together in a match like this? I'm very happy with our performance and the result of the match. We can't get complacent though, there's ALOT we can work on leading into the next match so we'll be working on that as much as possible leading into the next matchup and we'll be ready for the task at hand. As for Finn's status in Bullet Club? to me it was never in question, Finn's a BCOG, he started this whole thing in Japan many years ago and for the most part I've been at the helm of the XWL chapter per say. Finn hasn't been the same since Jericho's assault on him back at International Incident and I think he was deeply conflicted on what path he wanted to take upon his full return. I think he made it clear he still had BC in his heart when he came to our aide against the Alpha Club before Final Stand and now that the Motor City cup has began? Finn is back where he needs to be in Bullet Club and he's more focused and determined then ever to succeed which makes me very happy.
(Dasha Fuentes) Do you feel confident in Bullet Club's chances of going all the way in this tournament and becoming XWL's 1st ever set of Tag Team Champions?
(AJ Styles) I don't wanna get cocky or anything and be like, "you're damn right we're gonna win it" because that'd just be foolish. In a tournament like this? anything can happen and you have to be on your toes and prepared for anything and everything at all times. Do we possess the ability to win this whole thing? absolutely, but we can't get ahead of ourselves, we have to take it 1 match at a time, our 1st outing was far from perfect so we'll use what time we have to prepare for the next match and we'll work on working out the kinks in our game and get things to where they need to be to give us the best chance of winning these matches ahead of us. I feel good though, I feel like if we put it all together and stay on our toes then we have a great shot to become the 1st ever XWL Tag Team Champions, and to be able to say your team was the 1st ever set of champions? that would certainly be something special. So we'll just keep working towards our goal everyday and we'll see what happens.
(Dasha Fuentes) Well as we saw earlier tonight the Undisputed ERA was also victorious in their 1st round match of the Motor City Cup which saw them take on Bray Wyatt and Kyle O Reilly, but their win wasn't without controversy as Kyle O Reilly gave Matt Sydal a pair of brass knuckles which he used on Bray Wyatt to secure victory for his team and ensure they advanced to the next round. At the conclusion of the match it was revealed that Kyle O Reilly is the newest member of the Undisputed ERA bringing their group total to 6 now with Matt Sydal,Adam Cole, Pete Dunne, Roderick Strong, Leo Kruger, and now Kyle O Reilly. Any thoughts on ERA's actions and whether or not you feel like their growth is a threat to the Bullet Club?
(AJ Styles) Well looks like good ol Matty Boy is up to his old tricks once again isn't he? just gained his freedom from the Cabinet at Final Stand and he's out having a ball with it isn't he? I mean look I ain't gonna slight em for using some dirty tricks to win, we here at Bullet Club have done that many times in the past so that would be mighty hypocritical of me to sit here and criticize them for it, but at the same time, to resort to those measures in the 1st round of the 1st ever Motor City Cup? Seems a little petty to me, they've got 6 guys now and they had 5 going into it, what was the problem? all those guys but no real talent in the group or something? what's the use of having all those guys wear that little armband of theirs if they're all useless in the ring? Wanna know why Bullet Club stopped with the dirty little tricks a long time ago? cause we realized we were too good for it. And that's not cockiness, that's just a fact, and if they or anyone else wanna try and question that? then take a real good look at the Men's titles in this company, who holds them again? oh yeah that's right Bullet Club, and Sasha fought her damn heart out at Final Stand and I'm damn proud of her by the way, but had she won? we would've possessed every single belt in this company at one time and that's something that Undisputed ERA, Cabinet, Alpha Club, and any of these other little "groups" out there can only dream of.
(AJ Styles) Lemme tell ya this, in the men's division where all of ERA's members compete? we're outnumbered 3 to 6, but guess what? I ain't phased in the least bit nor am I threatened by their growth because I've been there before, I've been down that road where it seems right to just bring everyone into the Club and rule the world via the numbers game, and guess what we learned? it doesn't work, and that's a lesson that they'll have to learn the hard way down the line as well. I'll take Me, Dean, and Finn, and I'd bet the house on us to beat ANYONE in this company on any day of the week with full confidence, how many of Matt's guys do you think he could make those types of bets on? He may come out and say that he'd make that bet for all his guys and that he believes in em and yhattta yhatta yhatta, but deep down? do you think he REALLY believes that? do you think he REALLY trusts in those guys alongside him to beat the top guys in this company which currently is Bullet Club? I sure as hell don't think he does. I respect Matt, we all know the history there, and he's one hell of a trickster, but I'll tell ya this, if tonight was the biggest trick up his sleeve? if Kyle O Reilly was the biggest game changing reveal he's got in his back pocket? then I think it's safe to say he's not the biggest trickster in the game anymore, I think I know someone who's got him beat in that regard but I'll leave it at that for now.
(Dasha Fuentes) One last question AJ since we're running out of time here, what's your reaction to Layla being fired and JBL being appointed as the new Anarchy General Manager?
(AJ Styles) A shame, just a total and complete travesty of the highest degree. Look, Me and Layla? we weren't best friends or anything let's just put it that way, alot of ugly history there, but much like I had to respect Sydal after Final Stand last year, I came to respect her as a GM. She had to transition from a trailblazer in the XWL Women's division to a GM which was a tough task in itself, but she also had a tough job managing a locker room with this many egos and attitudes and at the end of the day, even though we didn't see eye to eye all the time, I think she did the best job she could and at the end of the day, the best interests of the XWL Universe was in her heart with every single decision she made, including giving us our 1st ever Women's main event of Final Stand, and by giving the XWL Universe something they've craved for years, a Tag Team Division, and what did she get for all of the great things she gave the fans? a trip to the unemployment line, it's just sad and I really feel for Ms. El tonight. All I can do to honor her and the amazing work she did for this company, is to go out there every single night and fight with heart and honor for the XWL Universe. If the people pay their hard earned cash to come to these shows and I can be apart of sending them home happy and with a smile on their faces? then in my eyes I'm honoring her as best as I possibly can, because at the end of the day that was always her goal, to make sure the XWL Universe got their money's worth.
(Dasha Fuentes) I wanna thank you for your time tonight AJ but before we cut to a break, any thoughts on JBL himself and his new role?
A look of disgust and disappointment was prominent on the Phenomenal One's face.

And with those words the Phenomenal One turned back towards the path he was on before the camera's approached him and began to walk it once more before reaching his locker room and entering it as the camera's faded to black and a commercial began to play.

[JOJO OFFERMAN] Here are your winners, representing Alpha Club, Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens!
The crowd shows their disdain for these two men as the pin is broken and Kevin Owens shoves himself off of the King of Strong Style and throws his hands in the air - the celebrations have already begun for the Prizefighter as he's one step closer to his first taste of gold in XWL. Chris Jericho, on the other hand, walks around the outside of the ring more composed than his best friend but he has a sinister smirk on his face.
[MAURO RANALLO] And there we have it, Ladies and Gentleman! The fourth and final tag team qualifier of the night has come to an end and Alpha Club has become the last team to qualify for the semi-finals. They will be joining Styles and Balor of Bullet Club, Sydal and Strong of Undisputed Era and the controversial team of Chris Sabin and Chad Gable.
[COREY GRAVES] The only thing bigger than the tournament than itself is the fact that Chris Jericho is one step closer to his third championship match! I don't know why people aren't talking about that more often. As we learned earlier, sure, maybe his actions to get those championship matches are questionable but there have been worse things done before. You have to do what you have to do in order to get ahead and there is no man better at that than Chris Jericho.
Kevin Owens rolls out of the ring and meets up with Chris Jericho...
and the two Canadians share a hug with one another!
[COREY GRAVES] These two are best friends! No one can stop them!

[COREY GRAVES] SHUT UP, MAURO! LOOK! THEY ARE BEST FRIENDS!
Kevin Owens keeps his arms wrapped around Jericho as they begin to struggle their way to the ramp. The Alpha himself, Chris Jericho points at the Kyohi members in the ring and he laughs at them.
Jericho and Owens drag themselves up the ramp and pull apart from each other. Owens wraps his fingers around the wrist of Jericho and raises their arms into the air which further causes the crowd to show their dismay for the winning team as a replay shows the end of the match.
[MAURO RANALLO] Thank you, Ladies and Gentleman, for joining us tonight! It was a historic show and we are one step closer to crowning the first ever World Tag Team Champions. Enjoy the rest of your night and we will see you next week!
