XWL Breakdown : 4/11/2014- 4/18/2014

Hot off an exciting Sixth Anniversary of XWL's biggest show of the year, Breakdown goes live in The Tampa Bay Times Forum, where the ruckus sold-out crowd have gathered to enjoy tonight's festivities. It's the night directly after Final Stand VI, and after a show like last night's the fans are more than excited to get to the start of Breakdown. We had new champions crowned, future champions established, and rivalries put to rest. An all out display of pyrotechnics blast off at the top of the stage, adding to the already loud reaction here in Tampa Florida.





[JR]
Greetings ladies and gentlemen, we're fresh off a Final Stand that truly lived up to it's name, and we're here live in Tampa Florida for the fallout of the biggest show of the year.

[King]
It doesn't get any bigger than Final Stand, and what a night it was!

[Michael Cole]
We had two new champions crowned, one stripped of his championship, and another retain in the biggest match of his life!


[JR]
Roman Reigns defeated Antonio Cesaro for The United States Championship, winning his first ever title in this company, and creating one hell of a Final Stand for himself in the process.

[King]
Speaking of picking up big victories, did you see Eric Young and Xavier Woods pull off what can only be described as the most shocking victory ever? The Wyatt Family had been on a rampage, and Eric Young no doubt picked up the biggest win he's had.

[Michael Cole]
While Xavier Woods competed in his second match of the night defeating Goldberg, Seth Rollins, and Kurt Angle in the inaugural Quest for Gold tournament, securing himself either an Intercontinental, or a United States Championship match sometime within the next six months.


[JR]
What many named the biggest Divas Championship Match to take place on the grand stage, certainly lived up to it's expectations. Crowning another new first time champion in The "Anti-Diva" Paige. I've never seen a submission move like the one she used to force Layla to tap out, but bah gawd if she didn't impress the world with that one.

[King]
Speaking of impressing the world, Dean Ambrose in his first defense as champion, headed onto the big stage, against a big challenger. Ted DiBiase cashed in his Money in The Bank contract to Main-Event Final Stand, to reclaim what was stolen from him on the night of his firing, but that's not what happened.


[JR]
I've gotta give it up to Ted, he fought hard, I'm not sure what kind of condition he's in after that match, but he went through hell. That shoulder of his took a beating for the better part of that match, ultimately securing Dean's victory when she would perform a Midnight Special off the second rope.

[King]
The West Side Army survives the war, but who will step up to challenge Dean next after such an impressive defense?

[Michael Cole]
One match that didn't impress though, was The Intercontinental Championship bout between challenger Sheamus, and champion Shawn Michaels. For it unfortunately ended in a double count-out,  giving Shawn the technical successful defense. However our XWL owner, not wanting the big stage to be tainted by a ridiculous finish to what was supposed to be a huge match...would make a huge decision that has left many questioning it since the night ended.

[King]
Stripping him of the title was definitely a controversial move, and as of right now, we don't have an Intercontinental Champion!


[JR]
Which leaves you to wonder, what's Stephanie McMahon going to do about that? She essentially has to clean up her father's "mess."


[Michael Cole]
I'm not sure what she can do, she expected to have a champion heading into Breakdown, but now we've got a title with no owner, so what can be done to change that?





As the commentators pondered, Stephanie's theme hit the speakers, and she's here to no doubt reveal what she's going to do about it. The fans cheer, though not as loud as usual, some blaming Stephanie for her father's actions at Final Stand.



[JR]
Speak of the de- delightful woman, there she is!

[Michael Cole]
Nice save there, JR.


[King]
The fans aren't exactly delighted to see her, do you think they blame her for Shawn Michaels being stripped of his championship?

[Michael Cole]
I don't know, I mean really it was her father that did it, and he did have somewhat of a good reason to. What champion in their right mind would foolishly end a championship match that way? Especially not on a night like Final Stand.


[JR]
But do you think it was too harsh of a punishment? Shawn Michaels isn't the type to initially get counted out, it just happened.


[King]
Compared to a lot of harsh punishments we've seen, it is pretty bad, but if there is one silver lining, it's that at least he wasn't fired.


Making her way down the ramp, she's all smiles, under her leadership XWL underwent another history making Final Stand, full of exciting matches, new champions, and defining moments that will be remembered years from now.  



As she approaches the steel steps, she reaches down, grabbing a microphone that was waiting for her, then begins to climb up them. Shortly after, she enters the ring and wastes no further time by walking to the center of the square circle and motioning for her music to stop.



[Stephanie McMahon]
If Final Stand was the greatest thing you've ever seen, let me hear you scream!


Although a good many were upset about the situation surrounding The Intercontinental Championship, Final Stand was no doubt an awesome show so they scream quite loudly.

[Stephanie McMahon]
I'm sorry, I can't hear you!


Challenged by Stephanie, the Tampa Bay Times Forum gets even louder, bringing a brighter smile to The General Manager's face.

[Stephanie McMahon]
That's what I thought! Last night was historic, it was grand, it was everything it's supposed to be, and MORE!




[Stephanie McMahon]
It was you the fans that made it into such an unforgettable night, and tonight, will be no different.  We've got history being challenged in a year later rematch between former United States Champion, Alex Shelley and Antonio Cesaro! And the best part of all, is that you will be able to decide what type of match this rematch is! Will it be Falls Count Anywhere, Extreme Rules, or A Two out of Three Falls match?





[Stephanie McMahon]
But, all matches aside, there's an issue I need to address. If you go on the XWL site, you'll notice that The Intercontinental Championship has been vacated. As your General Manager, I strive to do what's best for business. Because, what's best for business, is best for you. Now I realize the entire ordeal surrounding this is  a bit mixed. Personally, while I see the bad, that is a great champion in losing his title without actually being defeated. There is a silver lining, a bit of good to turn this mess into progress. Shawn's a very established man, he's done a lot, he's won a lot, and I have no doubt that he'll go on to win many more championships.  But, it's time for someone new to step up, to continue where he left off, and add their own bit of legacy to such a prestigious title.





[Stephanie McMahon]
In four weeks, at Dead Man's Hand, all matches will be put to the test of a wheel. Fate will have a hand in deciding what type of matches these encounters will be, and so I say, why not get a taste of destiny has to offer, by having our own sort of "wheel of fortune" tonight. Gentlemen, please.

Several crew workers begin to head down the ramp with a huge cloaked object in their grasps. It's quite heavy, so it's taking them a little bit of time to get to the edge of the ramp. But once they do the excitement grows, as does Stephanie's smile. A little more help comes from the ringside crew members, who help them lift the mysterious item off the floor, and over the ropes, the landing isn't exactly the softest, but nothing seems to break. She steps to the side, allowing them to center it, then raises his microphone up again.


[Stephanie McMahon]
What's under this, will change careers. Because in honor of Dead Man's Hand, in honor of what it stands for, what it will bring to you, I am proud to show you....this!



Stephanie tears off the black cover, revealing a wheel! But unlike the Dead Man's hand wheel of wonder, there aren't potential match types all around it, instead there are names of superstars. The building erupts cheering even louder, unsure of what this has to do with The Intercontinental Championship but they know whatever it is, it'll be great.




[Stephanie McMahon]
Behold, the wheel that will decide the next Intercontinental Champion! I can proudly announce that tonight, in your Main-Event, there will be an Intercontinental Championship match. Who takes part in that, is up to the spin of a wheel. I will spin this wheel twice, the two superstar chosen, will face off later tonight at the end of the show, and when all is said and done, we will have our Intercontinental Champion crowned. So with that said, let's see who the first name will be...



She grabs at the wheel, giving it a good pull before it begins spinning, having all six names pass by at a rapid pace. Will it be Sheamus, Zack Ryder, John Cena, Eric Young, Kurt Angle, or Seth Rollins? The energized crowd await the first name, it slows down...it gets slower...it passes John Cena, it just barely makes it past Sheamus...landing on....





ZACK RYDER! The fan become even more excited as the fan favorite Zack Ryder has a chance of leaving with the gold tonight.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Zack Ryder, a man that's always shown a lot of heart, and that heart could very well line him up for his first ever Intercontinental Championship reign! But who will be his opponent? Let's find out.

She grabs Zack Ryder's name off the wheel, throwing it aside, and then gives it another spin. It goes faster this time, going by each name, showing no sign of stopping until finally begins to slow down. Just as the first time, it goes right past Cena, meaning we won't be seeing them have a rematch tonight. It slows down as it enter Sheamus' name...




but goes past him landing on Seth Rollins! Much like Ryder, it's a positive response from the fans, and we've got ourselves a championship match now set.  



[Stephanie McMahon]
Seth Rollins! Will tonight be his night? He defeated Zack Ryder a few weeks ago in The Quest For Gold qualifier, but with The Intercontinental Championship at stake in this encounter, who will walk away with the gold? Will Ryder avenge his loss, will lightning strike twice for Seth? Be sure to tune in to The Main-Event, when they collide for the prestigious honor!  Tonight is going to be a great show, now if you don't mind I'm going to on the XWL app and vote for the kind of match I want Cesaro and Shelley to have, be sure to do same!

Talk about taking the good with the bad, on one hand Shawn Michaels unfortunately isn't getting his title back, but on the other, we're going to crown a first ever Intercontinental Champion live here tonight, and it's our Main-Event!

[Michael Cole]
Fate decided who will battle for it, but who will emerge victorious from this huge rematch?

[King]
Your guess is as good as mine, but either way, it's a win win!

[JR]

We fade away from the commentary team, and view a graphic promoting tonight's Main-Event Intercontinental Championship match between Zack Ryder and Seth Rollins. After that goes away, we head to our first commercial break of the evening.

As Breakdown returns from a commercial break, we're greeted by the smiling face of Josh Matthews.

Ladies and gentleman, my guest at this time, Kenny King!

-Alex Shelley-
Remember this bad boy? Pretty cool, huh? Figured I’d dig up a classic shirt to switch things up now that we’re officially living in a post-Final Stand world where nothing will ever be the same as it was before. So it’s fitting that my good friends in XWL management decided to dig up an old opponent of mine to keep me on my toes. I didn’t have a match on the pay-per-view and I’m sure the last thing anyone wants is for the ratings to plummet because the people were disappointed that they didn’t get a chance to see the Technical Messiah get into the ring to do what he does best two weeks in a row. We’re less than 24-hours removed from the biggest show of the year where we have new champions, new memories, and apparently some guys have new names too, and to be honest with you, Cesaro, it doesn’t matter to me what you call yourself because a change of name won’t change the fact that good things don’t happen when you step into the ring with Shelley… but you can call me Alex.



-Alex Shelley-
I bet you felt your United States championship win against Kenny King was a long time coming, didn’t you? Chris Jericho took it all away from you and it was right around this time last year where you were dead-set on becoming Number One Contender again but little did you know that you would be matched up with a guy who wanted that belt just as badly as you did, and seeing as how I won that match, I guess it’s safe to say that I wanted it just a little more than you did. I went on to win that belt and hold it for longer than both of your reigns last year combined, not that I’m keeping score or anything. But it’s only natural that they’d try to compare us and our match tonight is proof of that and while you certainly have a lot of good things going for you, at the end of the day you’re not me, and that’s where your downfall begins.



-Alex Shelley-
Now don’t get me wrong, Cesaro, I’m not stupid enough to think you’re the same man I wrestled before: you’re a little stronger, a little balder and the most impressive change of all, at least in my opinion, is that you finally realized nobody cares what you have to say so now you have someone to do the talking for you and so on behalf of everybody who’s ever had the displeasure of having to listen to you flap your gums: thank you. While you think Zeb Colter is here to help you, you’re going to find out tonight after yet another heartbreaking setback that he’s doing a lot more harm than good. I bet he’s already told you that this match is yours to lose, that tonight is the night you show the world that your loss to Roman Reigns was a fluke and you are still every bit worthy to be a champion in this company and I bet he also told you that that Alex Shelley guy? Psh, hardly anything to worry about.



-Alex Shelley-
It wouldn’t come as a surprise to me to hear that you believe every word Colter says, Cesaro, but I hope you see the problem with at least one of those statements because, as far as I’m concerned, you should be very worried about that Alex Shelley guy. See, you’re not the only one who has something to prove here. After losing to your former tag team partner, I need to make sure that lightening doesn’t strike for the other half of Kings of Wrestling. I’ve faced my fair share of meat-heads in my time and I learned a couple of things: it’s going to be hard to throw me around like a ragdoll when you can barely move one of your arms after it was nearly pulled out of its socket and you won’t be lifting anybody when your leg has been so badly dissected you can barely stand up without tipping over. Those aren’t threats, Cesaro, I’m just letting you know what I’m willing to do to have my arm raised into the air as the victor.



-Alex Shelley-
Tonight the people are going to witness one of hell of a match between two men with nothing to their name trying to start over, which means we both have a lot more to gain than we have to lose at this point and a win here tonight for either of us could be just what the doctor ordered to get us back into the title picture. The fact that neither of us are going down without a fight is guaranteed and the only thing still left in the air is just what kind of match we’ll be competing in. Cesaro, I’m sure you have your preference and I do too, but the power is in the hands of the people, the same fans that you turned your back on and no matter what they choose they won’t be doing you a favor because I’m giving you a hard time regardless of what the rules are. My advice to you is to go out and enjoy the wonderful, hot Florida weather because the moment you step into the ring, your cold-streak is continuing and your grand comeback will be postponed until you can have it at someone else’s expense.

-Don West-
Two and two, folks… two and two. At their first ever Final Stand competing under the same banner, The West Side Army broke even and you know something, people? I couldn’t be more proud of what we were able to accomplish! Our night began with heartbreak and ended with triumph, and many people have come up to me afterward and asked me: “Don, don’t you wish you could do it all again and go for the clean sweep?” And right after the show, right when the emotion and adrenaline was at their peak you know what I would have said? “You’re darn-skippy I want to go at it again!” But now that I’ve had some time to sit back and think about it and reflect on what the results of Final Stand means for The West Side Army… the night couldn’t have gone better! This isn’t me finding a silver lining or trying to make excuses because each and every member of the group did what I said they’d do and that’s give their opponents a hard time.

-Don West-
Amazing Red and Sara Del Rey didn’t go down without a fight and the people they fought may bask in their victories until the end of time but deep down inside they know it didn’t come without a cost. From bell to bell neither of those two never backed down and their futures have never looked brighter than it does right now. If nothing else Red and Sara they proved they have guts and that they don’t stop fighting until they’re physically incapable of moving a finger. I’m not one to make excuses, I’m not one to not give the other half of the match their props and I wish, dear god, I wish I could say the better wrestler won and call it a day, but we all saw those two matches and anyone with a heart can see why I was sick to my stomach to watch how those battles came to an end. AJ Lee and Brock Lesnar should have an asterisk put next to their name whenever the topic of their Final Stand six glory is brought up because those two disgraces to this business only embarrassed themselves by winning the way they did.



-Don West-
Little miss AJ Lee may be somewhere overjoyed that her night wasn’t a complete failure and it’s hard for me to feel sorry that that complete psycho is nowhere close to becoming Diva’s champion when Sara and I warned her that that’s exactly what would happen. We told her that she should count her blessings and stay out of Sara’s business but she wouldn’t listen! She thought she was Wonder Woman, that she could do it all, but she went and bit off more than she could chew and then when it mattered most she choked and came up empty in that miss money in the bank ladder match. But how can she be surprised that her body wouldn’t cooperate when she needed it to most? She went to war with The Queen of Wrestling inside of a steel cage for crying out loud and thought she would have enough left in the tank to put up a fight in a ladder match? Are you kidding me?!

-Don West-
Inside of that steel cage AJ felt the kind of pain that she never thought was even possible, the kind of pain that only a woman like Sara Del Rey is capable of dishing out. AJ tried to keep up, she tried to go blow for blow with the most physically dominant woman in this business today, and I’ll admit that she put up a valiant fight. AJ through everything she had at Sara, but we all what happened. Sara kept getting back up; Sara kept hitting hard; Sara kept bringing the fight while AJ was running out of steam. And when AJ finally realized that she wouldn’t last another second of that match, she ran! AJ Lee ran away from Sara Del Rey, a moment that will forever live on in Final Stand history. AJ Lee’s career was in such a miserable state, she was so desperate to have something in her life to be happy about that she was willing to win the match by any means necessary because that’s just the kind of woman that she is.



-Don West-
Now I’m no fool; I know that the purpose of a Steel Cage match is to climb over and out of the cage and make sure that both feet touch the ground but when AJ escapes to safety, Sara Del Rey was on her feet too. Sara was still itching for a fight, but AJ wanted none of that. You would have thought that with all the nonsense AJ talked about my client being nothing compared to her she would have stayed and fought in that cage until the bitter end. But as the match dragged on, as seconds became minutes, AJ Lee slowly realized that the voices in her head had been lying to her when they told her that she was better than The Queen of Wrestling. With every strike AJ threw that ending barely fazing my client, with every muscle she strained lifting my client off her feet, with every knee she through thinking my client wouldn’t wake up until next week, it slowly dawned on her that Sara Del Rey is in a completely different league and that’s when she decided to hightail it out of that cage and tonight she’s in a better place as she gets ready to face two women who combined aren’t half the competitor that Sara Del Rey is.

-Don West-
So AJ, I hope you enjoy your empty victory. I hope that at the end of the year when you’re still the butt of everyone’s jokes, that you look back at the two times you were allowed to step into the ring with Sara and feel thankful that you were given such a gift because last night will be the highlight of her career. As far as Sara’s career goes, she took me aside after her match and she said, “Don, I never thought I’d wrestle at Final Stand and you gave me that chance and nothing felt better than exposing AJ. Thank you.” And I looked at her and I thanked her for letting me take her career places it had never gone before. And then I asked her what was next and she stood there and thought for a minute before her eyes lit up and she said, “Don, I want to show that no woman or man can compete with me.” So folks, I’m going to grant her that wish. I’m going to hand-pick an opponent for Sara and she’s going to make one last statement in this company.



-Don West-
Unfortunately, AJ wasn’t the only coward The West Side Army had to deal with. When Amazing Red and Brock Lesnar were scheduled to go head to head the people were expecting a match that would blow the roof of the arena and for 99% of that fight that’s exactly what they got. Brock and Red put themselves through the ringer; I’m talking about risking everything but their lives inside of the ring, because they were determined to show that they were the better man. You want first-hand proof of how far a man can be pushed by their own pride? Just take another look at that match and watch how they beat the living snot out of each other. There came a point where their bodies couldn’t take anymore, they were wrestling on fumes, only reacting to things based on instinct and for a second seemed to slow down as they fought past the point of no return. That match was magical, and even I’ll admit that listening to Heyman ramble on and on during commentary kept me amused, but then his ego took over.

-Don West-
Amazing Red was seconds away from hitting Infrared and putting Lesnar away with the three count, but the thought of Brock Lesnar losing was too much for Heyman to bear even though we all saw it coming because Brock may have the size and strength but when you have the amount of heart that Amazing Red has, there’s nothing that you can’t do and no man that you can’t beat. Between Heyman’s distraction and Lesnar’s low blow, those two showed why they are the most despicable men on the roster and now I can understand how those selfish pricks have managed to make it this far in this business when they’re willing to bend the rules as much as they have. Amazing Red may have lost but I’m glad that this war with Brock is over because any man who’s willing to go that far to win a match is not someone I want to get involved with. Brock can take the win, but just like AJ Lee, beating a member of The West Side Army is as good as it will get for him. Red has plenty of time to recover and take this company by storm the exact same way he did last year.



-Don West-
If nothing else, Red proved by going toe to toe with The Beast Incarnate and making him sweat why he deserves to be called “Amazing.” For others, throwing a name on like that would be their way of trying to look cool and better than they actually are, but that’s not the case when it comes to Red. In fact, sometimes I wonder if “Amazing” even does what this kid can do in the ring any justice. He may have lost at Final Stand, but in the long run he’s going to end up the winner, because Red is much more than a record. He’s a man that was so much talent coursing through his veins that what you’ve seen of him thus far was just the beginning. Red is more than a speed demon, he’s more than the most athletically gifted, gravity-defying man on this roster: Amazing Red is a man who is living proof that hard work and a little faith can take you anywhere you want in this world. And now that Paul Heyman’s days as a manager are over, he’s going to watch as I take my client to the top.

-Don West-
Of course, there was some bright spots for us at the pay per view. That’s right, I’m talking about when Ryback went out there and creamed Goldberg in front of tens of thousands of people, putting to rest the claims that he’s nothing more than a cheap imitation by getting the 1-2-3 and proving that he’s the real deal. Who’s out there to stop him now? Who out there is stupid enough to think they can cross paths with The Big Guy and live another day to tell the tale? Goldberg was just the beginning and week after week XWL is going to find that in their efforts to stop Ryback, all they’ll actually be doing is feeding the fire that burns within him that keeps his motor running and soon there will be no one left. Ryback has some unfinished business with the Intercontinental Championship and you better believe that he’ll be keeping a close eye on the main even tonight because there won’t be a winner, just a future victim. I hate to say that because Zack Ryder is a nice guy and Seth Rollins has been coming around, but when Ryback has his heart set on something there’s no stopping him and Shawn Michaels can get over getting stripped of the title and consider himself lucky because had he retained he would not have made the third time a charm.



-Don West-
People don’t willingly get into the ring with Ryback, unless they’re stupid enough to think they’ll stand a chance, or their men like John Morrison who’s being forced to. Morrison is a guy who’s letting his true colors show now that his fifteen minutes of fame have run out and he’s proven to be nothing more than a flash in the pan while Ryback is a fire that will burn on until the end of time. Morrison may have hoped we’d have forgotten by now, but there’s no forgetting or forgiving the fact that Corey Graves isn’t here with us anymore partly because of him. It’s been months since then, but you know what they say about revenge. But this match will be about more than vengeance. This match will be about stringing together some wins so that when it’s time to decide the next challenger they won’t be able to look past The Human Wrecking Ball.

-Don West-
And when they’re deciding challengers for The World Heavyweight Championship I hope they realize that any man they pick to try in vain to dethrone Dean Ambrose will never be the same as they once were. Ted DiBiase had a dream to have a Cinderella moment unlike any other by winning the grandest prize in this industry on the grandest stage of them all, but men like Cody Rhodes or Shawn Michaels or Edge don’t prepare you for what men like Dean Ambrose are capable of and for what men like Dean Ambrose are willing to put their opponents and themselves through to win a match, especially a match with so much at stake. Poor Ted was sitting at home for months with a smile on his face, biding his time and conserving his body thinking that he had everything all figured out but you just can’t plan ahead for a man as unpredictable as Dean Ambrose.



-Don West-
I want you to keep that in mind Punk, you may think you have the element of surprise with that nifty little briefcase, but the so-called Best in the World is going to need a little more than that to become World Champion anytime soon. Dean has lived for as long as he has because he has eyes on the back of his head and always being on guard. You can even try cashing in when he’s asleep but even then I don’t like your odds. There was another man who walked around with a briefcase, sending his cronies after Dean so that they could collect on a big pay day, but he fought them all off, he survived and he made an example out of that man like only he can do. Your fate will be no different, Punk. You like to say that luck is for losers, well that’s a real shame because luck is really all you have. With Final Stand in the books, The West Side Army is still marching on, stronger than ever and anyone who thinks they can step up to us without the proper weapons to fight in the war of their lives, well they’ll just another casualty because when you mess with West you go down with the rest!

The last commercial plays and as we return to Breakdown the camera pans to Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole before static is shown following a graphic right after.




The graphic fades and a empty room is shown before a voice is heard clearing their throat. A man walks into the shot and turns to the camera revealing to be Johnny Gargano.


Here ye, here ye. Will all of you in the arena and all those watching at home please rise, as I your hero has arrived.

The crowd boos at Gargano's remark and clearly don't like his egotistical attitude.


For far to long have you the needing public have been needing a savior of sorts, well look no further. I the whole shebang Johnny Gargano is not only your savior, not only am I you knight in shining armor, but most importantly I am your Hero, and don't worry I know how you fans need time to comprehend material so I will give you all exactly one week before I grace your presence again.

"Johnny Sucks" chants begin echoing through the arena after Gargano tried to insult the fans intelligence.


So with that said I your hero must bid you fans ado.


Gargano puts on a cheesy grin. The camera fades to black before cutting to the next segment.

The Ryback
My names is Ryan Reeves, and I am The Ryback. Last night Goldberg threw everything that he had at me.. yet he couldn't keep me down. The Heyman Crew triple speared me, triple powerbombed me, put me through tables.. yet they couldn't keep me down. That's because The Ryback refuses to Stay Down..

The West Side Army refuses to stay down. When Don West first put this group together everyone thought that it would just be a repeat of The Resistance or The Shield. They didn't think that we would last. Corey Graves had his arm broken, Amazing Red was fired, twice, then "Sangriento" and myself almost had our arms broken by Brock Lesnar as well! Yet despite what anyone threw at us we refused to Stay Down, and we are still here, and we are here to stay.

Last night Dean Ambrose defeated Ted DiBiase to retain his World Heavyweight Championship. Despite the odds Dean refused to Stay Down. And I defeated Goldberg, proving that The West Side Army is the single most dominant group in the XWL. No matter how strong Goldberg was, no matter how dominant he was in the past, there was nothing that he could do last night to make me Stay Down. Because I'm a West Guy. And that's what we do. We defy the odds. We do the impossible. We prove the doubters wrong.

The Ryback
Yet last night, despite what everyone thought, what everyone wanted… Brock Lesnar defeated Amazing Red. So yes, Amazing Red might be down.. but won't Stay Down, he sure as ever isn't down and out. He knows what it's like to climb that uphill battle more than anyone else. And he's the best at it too.

Just a couple of months ago I faced Shawn Michaels for the Intercontinental Championship. I was supposed to bring the gold to the West Side Army. But I failed. Triple H distracted me during the match and as you all know Shawn nearly broke my jaw. Ever since then I started to fade deeper and deeper into obscurity. The Ryback, The Big Guy, The Human Wrecking Ball, those were all names to be feared at one point. But after facing Shawn, I started to doubt myself. And then The Heyman Crew came along, and we all know how much trouble they gave me. I started to get lost in the mix.

But I defeat Goldberg. The Heyman Crew is no more. There is nothing in my way. My time has come. It's time for me to pick up where I left off. It's time for The Big Guy to bring more gold to The West Side Army. Unfortunately Shawn Michaels is no longer Intercontinental Champion. I would have loved to take that title off of his shoulders after what he did to me.. But Seth Rollins, Zack Ryder.. They will have to do.. They might not be able to put up as much of a fight as Shawn would have. But hey. Easy prey is still prey. And whoever wins tonight's Main Event will have a huge target on his back.

I'm hungry for success. I'm hungry for championships. I'm just hungry. Tonight John Morrison has been fed to me. He is my prey. I won't hold back. I won't let anything distract me. I might have been here the whole time, but The Ryback is back. And hungry. You see The Heyman Crew and Shawn Michaels destroyed The Ryback. These past few months the man on your screen has been Ryan Reeves. But after last night. After Final Stand. The Big Guy is back. The Human Wrecking Ball is back. The Ryback needs prey to satisfy his appetite, his hunger. And John Morrison will just be the beginning of it.

I've been here for more than 8 months. For 8 months each and every week without a doubt you saw me on your television screen. I had my ups, I had my downs, but I've always been here. Because I love what I do, I love all of this. I love being apart of The West Side Army, I love destroying my opponents in front of all of you, I love being The Big Guy, The Ryback. So tonight I'm going to do what I love. I'm going to do what I'm best at. And I'm going to prove to Stephanie McMahon exactly why the XWL needs The Ryback as their Intercontinental Champion. Because that's all that it's going to take. If I can convince Stephanie, if I can get that match.. Well The Big Guy will do the rest of the work…

Last night it was Goldberg, tonight it's John Morrison, and next? Well, you better prey it's not you. Because I'm hungry, and it's feeding time.. FEED ME MORE!!!! FEED ME MORE!!! FEED ME MORE!! RYBACK RULESS!!!

All of a sudden there is a knock at the door. The Ryback gets up and opens it. The crowd boos as they see Paul Heyman holding a tray of food.

Paul Heyman
Are you really going to eat all of this before your match?

The Ryback
I'm hungry..

The Ryback begins to inspect the food with longing eyes.

Paul Heyman
You know, you really proved yourself last night against Goldberg. I knew that you always had it in you. Now that I'm D-.. Mr. West's assistant, I've been following him around a whole lot and couldn't notice how he puts you on the back burner if you would. I mean, Dean Ambrose is his World Champion, the man who did what you couldn't do against Shawn. And we all know that Amazing Red is his golden boy.. If you ever want-

The Ryback
You've got five minutes Paul.

And The Ryback slams the door on Paul. The door hits the tray of food and it falls all over Paul's chest, drenching his clothes in ketchup and food. The crowd laughs as Paul storms off and we go to a commercial break.

Breakdown comes back from commercial break, everything in a happy place since rolling off of Final Stand V. The camera spins over to the announcer's table, showing the trio of propaganda, Jim Ross, Michael Cole, and "The King" Jerry Lawler.

[Michael Cole]
Welcome back ladies and gentlemen, just days away from our grandest stage and may I say, was it a classic.

[Jim Ross]
You're right there Michael. The night was one to be held in the record books, crowning a new diva's champion in Paige, along with a new Mr. Money in the Bank in CM Punk.

[Michael Cole]
Not to mention one of the, underrated matches of the night in our broadcast partner's match-up!

[Jerry Lawler]
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Kenny King got what he wanted out of that but don't worry, his day will come.

[Jim Ross]
Speaking of underrated matches that took place at Final Stand, how about the match up between Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper taking on Eric Young and Xavier Woods?

[Michael Cole]
You know JR, as much as I think Eric Young is an idiot, him and Woods made as a cohesive tag team and brought down the family at Final Stand. I was slightly impressed till he started sticking his tongue out. That's just immature.

[Jerry Lawler]
Even if that is the case, those two showed heart that night and here tonight, we get to see these two best friends go at it. I am also under the impression that we have Matt Striker standing by. Matt?

The camera goes dark for a moment then is taken over by XWL's interviewer, Matt Striker. Him and his pretty boy outfit stands, smiling widely at the camera. He brings a mic up to his lips, speaking to the crowd.

[Matt Striker]
Thanks King. Please welcome my guest at this time, Show-time Eric Young!

The crowd picks up, cheers coming from all over the arena as the bearded hero steps into frame. He looks at the camera and smiles a goofy smile before Matt takes it away.

[Matt Striker]
So Eric, it's been a while since I've had the honor of interviewing you. How have you been?

Matt holds the mic out to Young.

[Eric Young]
I've actually been pretty good, how about yourself Matt?

[Matt Striker]
Well I've been pretty go-

Young snaps forward, cutting off Striker.

[Eric Young]
IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW-

Young stops dead, catching himself before he gets carried away.

[Eric Young]
Sorry about that, I'm not sure where that came from. As you were saying.

Striker looks slightly amused before finishing what he was saying.

[Matt Striker]
I've been pretty alright Eric. Are you feeling alright after that war with the Wyatt's?

[Eric Young]
I'm actually doing really good. A lot better than Xavier, actually. He took most of the pain in that fight but, he took it well and for that, I thank him. Without him, I don't know what I would of done at Final Stand. My first time at the grand stage, and what a better way than teaming with my best friend?

[Matt Striker]
I'm happy for you and Woods, Eric. Great job. Now, if I may push further into that subject, how are you feeling about going into tonight?

[Eric Young]
You see Matt, this is where I stay slightly more on the serious side of things. Tonight, is a new night for Eric Young. The restart after the biggest stage of the them all has just begun and what a better way then getting a, new year's resolution? The start of a new wrestling year, and this year, will be far better than last year for me. I have taken one hell of beating after another and it is far from over. I think it's about time I kicked it up a notch. Set my sights higher than just having fun and loving my time here. You know what I mean?

[Matt Striker]
Do you have anything in mind for what you want to do this year then?

[Eric Young]
Be better. Simple as that. Do something bigger than what I've done since showing up here in XWL a year ago. And tonight, going into a match with someone who I respect and care about is the best way to do it. If I can overcome the obstacle of my undefeated friend, I know nothing can stop me. And honestly, I don't know what can stop me. I have a new found drive Matt. Almost like the drive you gave me by singing with me a couple of weeks ago. That kept my head up going into my match with Sheamus. That kept me going throughout that match, back against the wall the entire time. The people, all around the world that check into XWL week in and week out kept me going through all the attacks and all the slander Bray Wyatt sent my way!

Young begins to build in anticipation, his words becoming more and more emotional each time he opens his mouth.

[Eric Young]
The competition in the back, the guys who tell me when I've done good and what I can do to be better is why I keep growing as a superstar and that is why I stand here today saying that it's time for me to shine. No more back seats. No more waiting around for my opportunity. It's time for me to seize it and run with it instead of waiting for it to come my way. Now, it's time for me! It's time for Eric Young! It's Show time! Do you hear that? I hear it! It's glory and it's calling my name Matt! It's calling me and I'm going to see what he has to offer! Whoo!

Young jumps into the air, feeling excited before dashing off screen, screaming out "whoo" as he runs away, still echoing. Matt goes to speak again as Young darts back through the screen, rushing past Matt, making Striker turn his head to look. Matt smiles and shakes his head.

[Matt Striker]
Back to you guys at ring side.

The camera zooms out, all the way out to the ring and slowly turns around to the announcer's table where the commentators sit.

[Jerry Lawler]
Well Eric Young does seem quite excited about a new chapter starting with the passing of Final Stand.

[Michael Cole]
Gosh he's an idiot.

[Jim Ross]
Are you kidding me Cole? That man has more heart than anyone I've seen in this business! He's a great wrestler and as you saw, he's more motivated than ever! That's actually the most normal I've ever seen him act and you call him an idiot?

[Michael Cole]
Because he is JR! Look at him! He thinks he has a chance in this company!? The man barely has a chance of crossing the road and I'm surprised he did.

[Jerry Lawler]
I'm appalled. But, we're not stopping the show to argue with you Michael. We'll be back after the break with more action!

Lawler smiles at the camera as the other two bicker out to commercial break.

Jim Ross:Welcome back to Breakdown folks. I have just been informed that we are going live from an unknown location with one of a roaming reporters in XWL. Apparently he has a big scoop that we need to see.

John: Thank you Jim. You maybe wondering what the hell is going on and why I have been sent out to this location. Well as you know a certain XWL superstar who we were use to seeing tear the ring up and everywhere has been missing. That man is Kevin Steen. Kevin Steen was on a path of destruction during his first tenure in XWL before in his words he was wrongfully released by XWL. We then all remember his hijacks of the shows and him turning up uninvited to many of our shows including house shows. We all know that ended up him facing the then General Manager Hulk Hogan at last year's Final Stand to gain his job back which he won. Sorry I feel like I am going on a bit but I feel that I need to keep the fans up to date with the goings on. Well Steen continued with his usual destructive path until once again he seemingly disappeared. It was reported that Kevin Steen had been once again been injured at a house which put him on the shelf for many months. But there has been no contact since we was put on that shelf. I was handed the job by the McMahon's to contact Steen and find out what is going on because his status should be that he is ready to compete. I have tried calling cell phones, home phones, emails, tweets, facebook message but never got one reply. I contacted a few of his so-called "close friends" but they said they have not seen him. Well I have been doing some tracking and I have found out that somebody matching Kevin Steen's description was seen at this local wrestling show tonight. So I am going in right now which is nearly at its main event right now.

John walks into the building and hands his ticket to an old lady before making his way to the high school gym. The camera follows and they walk through a door to see a wrestling match taking place. The one opponent is a skinny man wearing bright blue tights and blue boots with white tassles. The other is a bigger guy wearing a black singlet and a red mask. The masked man slams the skinny guy into the canvas with a package piledriver. The masked man covers and gets the victory. The fans cheer and clap at his victory. The masked man walks around the ring then spots the camera and John. He stops and stares for a few moments before rolling out the ring and runs towards the locker room area. John starts to follow in hot pursuit but as he burst throw the door, the masked man pushes through and knocks John on his ass and rushes out of the fire exit, jumps into his car before John can get there. John turns to the camera and begins to talk but he is slightly dazed.**

John: Sorry Jim, but I thought I was going to reveal to you all tonight that the masked man in that local match was none other than Kevin Steen. We weren't able to do that but the way that masked man left shows me that he knows where Kevin Steen is or he is Kevin Steen. back to the arena with you guys.

The XWL cameras cut backstage where the new United States Champion: Roman Reigns is standing. Only he knows if he is 100% after that tough battle with the Swiss Superman Antonio Cesaro at Final Stand VI but it looks like he came prepared for a fight

Week after week I tell the World exactly what I intend to do to whatever poor soul that has the misfortune of stepping into a wrestling ring with me and moments later I go out to that ring and I deliver. I'm a man of my word, now for what it's worth I give everyone fair warning, I let them know what the plan is, I let them know my intentions, I like to think of it as giving the opposition a fighting chance but no matter how hard they try, what tricks they try to pull or how storied their career has been up to that point, in the blink of an eye I break each and every single one of them in half and I do it with a smile on my face.

But some still don't believe in what I can do, some like to think that I'm just a flash in the pan, the new flavour of the month and that my run will eventually come to a screeching halt. Well boys, you can't stop a juggernaut. No matter how many bodies throw themselves in my path, I will keep rolling on and I will continue to bring destruction to XWL. I told you when I walked back into this company that I had no intentions of climbing the ladder to get where I wanted to be, I was going to bring it all crashing down around me and just when the World thought I had equal opposition, just when the World thought I had taken on a challenge too large, I overcame the obstacle and in a heartbeat I ended the reign of the so called “Real American” and I took the United States Championship for my own.

My strength speaks for itself, the names that I have defeated all speak for themselves and yet the questions remain. Two months ago I was a second thought, their plans fell through and there was nobody to accept the match, so Prince Devitt stood out in that ring expecting to have his hand raised  I took the match for my own, I came out and despite already going through a punishing match with Randy Orton I showed exactly what I could do, I proved to the World and the XWL roster that I'm not a second thought and after that I am the first fear when everyone looks at the match card, people pray, people beg and people try to squirm their way out of a match with me and rightly so, I have taken out everyone in my path, taking all kinds of trophies into my possession and now I have one of the most fought after Championships.



[Roman Reigns]
Tonight's opponent victim, is Chris Sabin. One of the most impressive tag team competitors the World has seen, one of the most exciting, quick and high flying superstars to watch and that's all fine and dandy but what happens when I ground the high flyer? What happens when I take out the legs of one of the quickest superstars to date? Everyone brings something different to the table, strength, speed or resiliency but when you're in the ring with me all of that means nothing and tonight will be no different because when all is said and done, Chris Sabin will be a broken mess lying on the canvas.



[Roman Reigns]
Believe that!

As we return from commercial break the camera pans over to Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, and Michael Cole who begin to speak on
the Intercontinental Championship match that will happen later tonight. Michael Cole gets word from the back that Josh
Matthews is backstage with none other than Paul London. The camera cuts to Matthews who is standing alone with no sight of
London.



-Josh Matthews-
Well thanks for the introduction Cole but currently the man I was suppose to be interviewing is not here and
no one around has seen him all da....

Matthews is interupted with a loud noise of screeching tires is heard then a man yelling "Wee!". On camera Matthews is
seen jumping out of the way before a golf cart comes flying into the shot crashing into the backstage set. London rolls
out of the golf cart with a big smile and looks at Josh Matthews then back at the golf cart and damage he just created.



He turns back to the camera and utters the words "That was awesome!" before leaving the scene. The camera man pans over to a downed Josh Matthews who is shaking his head and looks at the camera man asking "What is his problem?". The feed cuts back to the commentary team where Jerry Lawler is laughing and says "Well Paul London sure is a hooligan!" Ross agrees
and the trio go on to talk about the upcoming XWL Active match which you can vote on from the app. Michael Cole then
shows the viewers how to download and use the app before fading into the next segment.
