XWL Breakdown: 3/28/2014 - 4/4/2014

Josh Matthews: Christian, you are just about to have your return match here in XWL, and it is against the beast called Bobby Lashley, any thoughts on this match?

Christian: Josh, if I had any doubts that I couldn't beat Bobby Lashley, I wouldn't be in this arena, but I'm Captain Charisma, and I can beat anyone in this place, anyone! Let it be the World Heavyweight Champion, Dean Ambrose, to that Big Hulking Brute Ryback. They'll stare me down and try to intimidate me, but they end up getting Killswitched, plain and simple.

Josh Matthews: Do you have anything to say to Bobby Lashley concerning your match?

Christian: Bobby, you can try to beat me, but you won't. You never will, because I'm Charismatic, and you aren't.

When Breakdown returns from a brief commercial break we see longtime XWL interviewer Jeremy Borash pacing back and forth outside a door that stands between him and a locker room. He takes a deep breath, stops in front of the door and knocks on it repeatedly until it final swings open. Out of the room steps Alex Shelley who looks confused but when he spots Jeremy Borash his eyes open wide in realization then he takes the controller he was holding in his hands and tosses it back into the room before closing the door softly behind him. Borash gives Shelley an accusatory stare but then remembers what he came here to do and gets down to business.

-Jeremy Borash-
Now what’s the big deal, Alex? We were supposed to do this interview an hour ago. You’re the one who scheduled the time!



-Alex Shelley-
I know, I know… listen JB, I know what you just saw a few seconds ago looked kind of suspect, but I promise you that I was doing everything humanly possible to prepare myself for my match against Chris Hero tonight.

-Jeremy Borash-
Everything humanly possible? Alex, you were caught red-handed with a controller!

-Alex Shelley-
Don’t you stand there and judge me, JB. I’ll have you know that an intense gaming session before my matches helps keep my reflexes sharp, my instincts on point and my trigger finger as loose as possible.

-Jeremy Borash-
You’re telling me you didn’t hear me knocking on the door all that time?

-Alex Shelley-
Well, in my defense, I had the TV on pretty loud; it really helps me immerse myself in the story and really feel like I’m part of the action.

-Jeremy Borash-
Oh, come on, Alex, you can’t be…



-Alex Shelley-
Look, I’ll take the blame for this train being a little late to the station; 100% it was all my fault. Here, I’ll even make it up to you by letting you in on a little secret.

-Jeremy Borash-
Really?

-Alex Shelley-
Sure, it’s the least I can do; you were just doing your job, after all and who am I to try and get in the way of a man out here trying to make an honest dollar?

-Jeremy Borash-
Well spill the beans! What’s this big secret about?

-Alex Shelley-
It’s going to be a little hard to hear this, but it’s about you.

-Jeremy Borash-
Me?!



-Alex Shelley-
You.

-Jeremy Borash-
But what did I do?

-Alex Shelley-
You see, according to my source on the inside – who, need I remind you, has never let me down twice – Dragon is furious at you.

-Jeremy Borash-
At me?

-Alex Shelley-
Yeah, he’s spitting fire and everything, you should have seen him earlier.

-Jeremy Borash-
I didn’t do anything to him!



-Alex Shelley-
Did you forget already? The questions that I gave to you that you irresponsibly replaced?

-Jeremy Borash-
That’s why he’s mad at me? Alex, you can’t be serious.

-Alex Shelley-
Oh I’m dead serious, pun intended… Though I guess it’s not much of a pun since you’re still alive, for now, but I digress… My source tells me that Daniel Bryan was so distraught about not being interviewed by Detroit’s Finest that he couldn’t even make it to the arena last week.

-Jeremy Borash-
But he was laughing at the whole thing! Didn’t you see him?

-Alex Shelley-
Oh I saw him all right, but what you didn’t see was the expression on his face when he caught wind of the rumor that’s been floating around.

-Jeremy Borash-
What rumor?



-Alex Shelley-
Oh, didn’t you hear? The one that goes that the real reason he didn’t show up to the arena to wrestle Tyson Kidd is because he hates Canadians!

-Jeremy Borash-
Does he?

-Alex Shelley-
Who knows? But that would explain why he’s hell bent on beating Chris Sabin at Final Stand.

-Jeremy Borash-
What does Chris Sabin have to do with any of this?

-Alex Shelley-
You mean you haven’t figured it out yet?

-Jeremy Borash-
What am I missing here?



-Alex Shelley-
Come on, I’ll walk you through it. What’s his first name?

-Jeremy Borash-
Chris…

-Alex Shelley-
You know who else has that name? Chris Jericho. A proud Canadian who has beaten Bryan in the past.

-Jeremy Borash-
Oh my…

-Alex Shelley-
And then there’s Christian. A man who’s been in and out of this company just as much as he has, but has managed to win the World Title, a fact that eats Bryan up inside.

-Jeremy Borash-
There’s also, Chris Be—



-Alex Shelley-
I think we’ve connected the dots enough, JB, and what we get is a picture that just the mere name Chris is synonymous with Canada for Daniel Bryan and anyone who is unfortunate enough to share that name will feel his wrath.

-Jeremy Borash-
It’s.. it’s all starting to make sense now, but what’s this all got to do with me? I would never start a rumor like… wait a second, Alex, was it you?

-Alex Shelley-
That’s neither here nor there, JB, but what you need to worry about now is formulating a plan so that when he comes looking for you you’ll know what to do.

-Jeremy Borash-
You mean you wouldn’t have my back?

-Alex Shelley-
What kind of question is that? Of course I’d have your back. Hell, if he came storming up to us right now I would fight him to hell and back in your honor.

-Jeremy Borash-
That’s very kind of you, Alex.



-Alex Shelley-
Then again, I won’t always be around to keep you safe. What if he chooses to strike when you’re in the bathroom or at home enjoying a nice home-cooked meal with your family?

-Jeremy Borash-
You don’t think he would go that far, do you?

-Alex Shelley-
It’s hard to tell with him sometimes. Hey, on the brightside, he’s so wrapped up in this whole thing with Chris, he probably won’t even get around to you until after Final Stand.

-Jeremy Borash-
Maybe he’ll have even forgotten by then?

-Alex Shelley-
I don’t know about that, buddy, but whatever helps you sleep at night. Then again, he does have the night off and plenty of free time. He may even come after you while I’m all tied-up in the ring with Chris Hero. Normally he’d be glued to his seat when watching one of my matches, and let’s be honest for a second, who here isn’t excited to see the two of us in the same ring? I’ll tell you who: Daniel Bryan. With the sheer hatred he has for that name he won’t be able to sit through that match and he may be looking to blow of some steam…

-Jeremy Borash-
You make a good point there, Alex.

Borash lowers his head, strokes his chin and thinks deeply to himself about how best to deal with this situation. As he continues to think, Shelley silently slips back into his locker room and when Borash finally looks up he’s surprised to see that he’s been left all alone.

-Jeremy Borash-
Alex? Where did you go?

Borash scurries down the hall and the camera rests on the locker room door for a few seconds before the screen finally fades to black and Breakdown heads to a commercial break.

After the Commercial break, the match between Samoa Joe and Rob Van Dam begins.

The Whole F'n Show finishes this quick match with a graceful Five Star Frog Splash and scores a pin.



Rob Van Dam went into this match and knew how to put Joe down.
This could have been his best Frog Splash to pick up a victory.

Kenny . . . Kenny! Do you have a second, I'd like to-

Kenny . . . I ugh, I was wondering if you had a second to answer a few questions . . .

King remains silent, tearing at the white tape with his teeth. Finally he tilts his head up, staring at Josh with cold eyes. He stands up from his chair, tossing the roll of tape off to the side and then sighing. 

Don't I always?

Well, Final Stand is now just one week away. It's the biggest event of the year, and your career is going to be on the line against Jerry Lawler. But it seems to me, and to a few other people, that ever since Stephanie McMahon announced this match, you've changed. You're distant, quiet . . . To be blunt, you seem to be a shell of your former self. And I can understand that, there must be so much going through your head right now. Because not only do you have that match to worry about, but you also lost your last chance match last week. Which means that you won't be getting a United States championship match at Final Stand . . . Maybe never again. Kenny, what I want to know is, are you at 100% right now? Are you ready for your match at Final Stand? 

King remains still, his eyes still locked onto Josh. He then lowers his head, nodding it at the same time. 

You're right, Josh. These past few weeks have been tough on me. First, Stephanie McMahon announced that I'd have to defend my career against Jerry Lawler at Final Stand, only moments after she almost fired me. I was so distraught that I didn't even make it to the arena the following week. Then, I was given a second chance to be in the Quest for Gold match, something that I've been wanting since I returned. It's what I've built my career around, the United States championship. I was so close, but then . . . Then I lost it. And now, it's a distant memory for me, but something that will taunt me for the rest of my career. Which may not be that long . . . And, you're right, I probably never will get another chance at that title, or any other. But you asked me, Josh, am I at 100%? . . . I don't really know if I can answer that. All that I know is, I may be distant, I may seem like a shell of my former self and I may not act like I usually . . . But maybe that's a good thing. Maybe the events that have transpired this past month have woken me up. I don't know, but I am a changed man. For the better? For the worse? Maybe I am the same man but I'm just hiding it. It's a lot to think about, but I don't have time to. Because seven days from now, I'm going to be down in that ring and my career . . . My life, is going to be on the line. And you can bet, Josh, that I might not be at 100%, but I damn sure am going to bring my A game. I'm going to bring everything that I've got. I won't go down without a fight, and you better believe that . . .

Kenny quickly turns away from Matthews and the camera then walks off, heading to the ring for his match.

We are taken backstage, where we see XWL newcomer Jimmy Jacobs. He begins reciting a poem.

Exactly the same... but a completely changed man"




[Jimmy Jacobs]
Allow me to introduce myself. I go by many names... Names like The Red Bull Kid, The Zombie Princess, Mr. Undercard, and The Emo Warrior... but you can call me Jimmy Jacobs. I am a man of many talents and trades, but the thing I do best is wrestle. I've wrestled all over the world. Places like the United States, Canada, Germany, and England. Those places have all been graced by the presence of yours truly. I've gone one on one with opponents of all shapes and sizes. In those matches I've watched those opponents rise and fall. Rise... when they are handed opportunities, rather than having to work for it. Fall... as I break them down into nothing but a pool of blood, shattered bones, and torn flesh.

I can do things with my hands that no ordinary man has even once thought about doing. You know... it's funny. The common misconception among my opponents, is that I'm a "smaller guy". So in their minds, being a "smaller guy" means that I'm easy pickings. That.... That is where they are wrong. You see... I have made guys twice my size cry and crumble into submission. I have made guys twice my size quit. The simple lesson here is... don't judge a book by it's cover. Judge... it's a funny word, because judgement is thrown around a lot. People judge others based on the color of their skin, sexual orientation, religion,... the list goes on and on. Just know... Jimmy Jacobs isn't one to judge. When I see people, I don't see them for being black or white. When I go out into the world, I only notice two different groups of people.

You have the first group of people like me. The outcasts. The unique ones. The leaders. The people the muscled up jocks and the bullies would pick on throughout the school years, just because they were different. Then you have the second group of people like the muscled up jocks and the bullies. The group of people that choose to follow the common trend. The group of people that rather than make a name for themselves, they ride someone else's coat tail, just so they can make it in this cold cruel world. The second group of people make me absolutely sick. I would like to direct my attention to the audience members tonight. Look at the person to you left... What do you see? Maybe... a husband? ...a wife? ...a son or daughter? I want you to know right now, that that person is nothing but a mindless zombie, brainwashed by the ways and trends of today's society. I want you to know that that person does not care about you. That person is only using you to get ahead. You people are the scum of this earth and if it were up to me, I would have people like you removed from this planet.

Unfortunately,... I can't do that. There is something... I can do. Something... in this little company known as: X.. W.. L.. In this company, you have your typical big muscled up douchebag wrestlers. You have your typical posers, that only act like they're edgy.. when in real life, they couldn't hurt a fly. Example being a man that last week talked about how he wanted to "watch the world burn". Unlike that guy, I ACTUALLY want to watch this world burn. I want to see people suffer. That man is a phony, just like the rest of these so called "Superstars" in the back. I'm sick and tired of the phonies, the posers, the ones that don't speak the truth. Well here I am in front of the entire world to say that I, Jimmy Jacobs, will put and end to all this. After I succeed, no longer will you be forced to sit and watch these liars. No longer will you be forced to sit through this... this facade each and every week. No longer will XWL be run by the meat-heads and the posers. No longer will it be run by scum. I... can save you.

Breakdown fades to a commercial break.

Normal Match


When Breakdown returns from a commercial break we are immediately thrown into the heat of the action where Shelley has Hero in a single-leg boston crab and the Detroit-native is sitting deep into the hold. Hero scratches and claws in a manic bid to get himself over to the ropes and he puts his height to good use by stretching out his arm as far as he can and just barely wraps his fingers around the bottom rope. Shelley sits in a little deeper on the hold making full use of the 5-count and breaks it just before he gets himself disqualified.

Shelley quickly grabs Hero by the ankles and tries to pull him away from the ropes but Hero grabs on with both hands making the task nearly impossible for the smaller Shelley. Switching to plan B, Shelley wraps his arms around Hero’s waist putting him in position for a wheelbarrow then kicks his opponent’s hands until he relinquishes his grip on the ropes. Shelley throws Hero over his head and plants him into the mat with a german suplex but Hero rolls backwards to get back onto his feet!

Thinking quickly Shelley races over to the ropes and Hero makes a dash for the adjacent set of ropes and before Shelley realizes what’s happening Hero damn near takes his head off with a kick to the face! Shelley stands there wobbly kneed and Hero presses the offense by lifting Shelley into the air for a suplex and then hitting the crash landing! Hero immediately goes for the pin hooking the legs:

Kick out! Hero runs a hand through his hair to get it out his eyes as he sits up with a look of disbelief on his face. Suddenly, Shelley grabs him from behind and brings Hero down to the mat with a crucifix!

Hero rolls back onto his feet and again devastates Shelley with a straight boot right to the face right as he stood up. Shelley staggers backwards but has the wherewithal to return the favor with a superkick that rocks Hero. Hero ties for another boot to the face, but Shelley grabs his leg and takes him down with a dragon screw. Shelley tries to lock in a boston crab again, but this time Hero’s able to kick him off and scramble back to his feet.

Shelley charges at Hero and eats a knee to the gut for his troubles. Hero then slips behind Shelley in a rear waist lock, lifts him into the air, then slams him to the mat with a ripcord that drops Shelley onto his back. Hero follows that up with a senton, then he gets back onto his feet and shows off his athleticism with a standing moonsault, but nobody’s home except for Shelley’s raised knees and Shelley quickly turns that into a roll up:

Hero shifts his weight and now he’s the one making the pin:

Hero again shifts things in his favor:

Shelley kicks out it takes a while but both men work their way back up to their feet simultaneously. Shelley kicks Hero in the gut then grabs him in a set up for the Sliced Bread but Hero shoves him chest first into the corner. Shelley staggers backwards and Hero clobbers him on the side of the head with an absolutely sickening rolling elbow! Shelley crumbles to the ground and Hero takes him by both legs and sits on the mat:

The ring is all dolled up with streamers wrapped around the ropes and party hats sitting on the four top turnbuckle pads. The ring itself is filled with balloons that encompass all the colors of the rainbow; a set up for what appears to be an imminent celebration. For what? The answer lies within the giant “W” that stands in the center of the ring, attracting the attention of the thousands of pairs of eyes in attendance here tonight like metal to a magnet. The crowd is buzzing in anticipation and if there really is about to be a party then they’re definitely in the right mood for it.



The fans burst into cheers when Amazing Red’s entrance music blares through the sound system, and it’s a wonder that the people themselves don’t burst due to the sheer amount of joy and excitement residing within them at the moment. They all raise to their feet and take their eyes off the elaborately set-up ring to watch the stage vigilently, each man woman and child, wanting to be the first to lay eyes on the returning Don West when he steps through the curtain and walks onto the stage for the first time in weeks.

Finally, when the heavy instrumental of his theme kicks in, Amazing Red bursts through the curtains and finds himself a recipient of a warm reception from the fans. Red throws up his signature hand gesture, a move which gets mimicked by many of the people who are solidifying their place in Red’s fandom. Red makes to go down the ramp alone, but then stops himself and wags his finger with a smirk on his face before turning and motioning towards the stage with his hands.

Seconds later out comes Don West with a smile that stretches from ear to ear as he listens to the deafening reaction he’s getting from the people; one that this time last year, when being a member of the XWL roster was just another of his wild dreams. But tonight is proof that it’s never too late for a dream to come true; with The West Side Army still standing tall, remaining strong despite the adversity thrown their way, the obstacles they’ve have to circumvent and the hurdles they’ve had to leap over… well that goes to show that no dream is too wild to come to fruition.

West is donning his usual get up, always looking professional but of course his most important piece of equipment being the microphone he’s holding in his hand. But right now he can’t bring himself to speak, not when he’s been brought to such a stunned silence after hearing first-hand just how delighted the fans are to see him back into an XWL arena ever evident by their chants of “Welcome back!” West runs a hand over his face and mouths a single word “wow” in response and this surreal moment for him carries on as seconds become a full minute and the people show no signs of settling down anytime soon. Finally, West regains his composure and realizes what he’s out here for and the noise dies down a tad, he raises the microphone up in front of his lips.



-Don West-
Are you people kidding me?! I’ve never gotten a reception like this before! This is incredible! This just goes to show that hard-work does pay off. It was almost a year ago, people. It was April of two-thousand and thirteen when I was sitting at home, watching old TNA footage and along came a match with Amazing Red, one of the greatest X-Division champions in the history of that promotion. I had seen the match before, hell I had a front row seat at the commentator’s table yet watching that match again years later I was still blown away by the things this man did inside of the ring. I didn’t even realize that I was on the edge of my seat until I almost fell out of the chair!

West chuckles as he and Red begin making their way down the ramp.

-Don West-
Amazing Red was doing things inside of that ring that no one had done before. People still can’t figure out how he busts out these moves that make the concept of gravity look like a complete joke! But where did all that talent get him, huh? Where did that untapped potential and unrivaled athleticism take him? Oh, I’ll tell you where: absolutely nowhere, folks! He never became the star that he should have despite putting on the most exciting matches that I have had the privilege of watching live. When the match was over I sat there and said to myself, “Man, that kid should have gone places. He should have been that company’s top star and now he’s somewhere doing shows in front of twenty people who are too busy texting to realize that greatness stands before them.”

Red gets to the ringside area first and walks up the steel stairs and holds down the middle rope and now waits on West.

-Don West-
That just wasn’t fair, and it made me feel terrible because back then I was one of Amazing Red’s biggest fans, ask anyone who knew me and they’d tell you that behind my wife and kids, I was always talking about what a treat it was to watch this guy do his thing in the ring. I had faith, I held out hope that TNA would see what I did in Red, but oh, what did I know? I was just a lowly announcer and before I knew it we were both out of a job. Red tried to make it here in XWL before on his own, but again he found himself in a company that thought it would be best to punish him because he’s not like the other guys in this business. He’s a man of a few words, he doesn’t like to tell you what he’s going to do to you, he just gets into the ring and does it and there wouldn’t be a damn thing you could do about it!

West finally enters the ring and takes a moment to gaze at the giant W in the center of the ring. He playfully kicks at some of the balloons scattered about the ring, before clearing his throat and adjusting his tie.

-Don West-
That’s when I realized that I could put my gift of gab to use by filling in the gaps in Red’s game. I would say the things that he’d echo in the ring and we’d be an unstoppable force in this industry. But then I realized something: Red’s not the only one who’s been told he’s not the good enough. He’s not the only one who thought he was going to make it to the top just before getting pushed to the ground and getting kicked, stomped on and spat at while he was down there. Later on a got another idea…what if we expanded our dynamic duo and created an Army? An army comprised of the underappreciated, of the people who were never given their fair shot? And the rest, as they say, is history.



-Don West-
History will show that no one ever gave The West Side Army a fighting chance; they all expected us to trip and fall before we ever got our foot in the door. But then history will show that in our darkest hour when all hope seemed to be lost, The West Side Army came together to save the man who helped get them to their point and for everything they did for me last week alone I will be eternally grateful. But with Final Stand approaching we can’t afford to get too caught up on emotions or get too lost in the past because Final Stand is right around the corner and it’ll be one of the toughest battles we have ever fought as a unit. But do you see these balloons, the party hat, the streamers? They’re not set up to celebrate my return, they’re here to celebrate to success that we will have on the biggest stage of the year. Everything that we’ve worked for has brought us to that moment and folks, we will not let you down.



-Don West-
Don’t think I haven’t been keeping a close eye on this product while I was away. I was at home keeping tabs on the members of this group and coming up with game plans that will give them the best shot at success. There was a time when Ryback would be compared to Goldberg and hearing that made me sick to my stomach because it was an insult to him to be compared to a man like that. Ryback was a man on his way to the top, The Big Guy was going to do big things, and what did Goldberg do? He aligned himself with the most despicable man in wrestling. He sold his soul to give himself a fighting chance but never in his wildest dreams did he think everything would fall apart. Now without Paul Heyman around to pull the strings and bend the rules Ryback is going to put the final nail in Goldberg’s coffin and laugh as he does it.



-Don West-
I bet AJ Lee is somewhere backstage skipping and laughing to herself for finally getting what she wanted. She finally got The Queen of Wrestling, Sara Del Rey to wrestle her in a match, but unfortunately for her Stephanie McMahon made it a steel cage and I doubt AJ’s twisted little mind can comprehend what that means for her. Sara Del Rey is a woman who has thrown grown men around the ring like rag dolls… just take a moment to imagine what she’ll do to someone that’s not even a fully grown woman! AJ is going to have nowhere to run and when that bell rings Sara is going to make AJ regret ever challenging her and while she’s getting torn apart, only able to scream in pain and beg for mercy, I bet it’ll finally dawn on her that what we were saying all along was the truth: AJ is no match for a woman who looks down at the rest of the division from her throne.



-Don West-
And from the Queen we go to the King, The World Heavyweight Champion, The most violent, vicious, ruthless man to ever lace up a pair of boots. Dean Ambrose was a man who was lost, a man who thought that bloodshed was the key to success. He bounced around from group to group but got nowhere until he finally crossed paths with a man who knew what he was doing. It started out as a simple business transaction, but when Ambrose realized that things were different in The West Side Army and when I realized that a man so callous and is such a glutton for punishment could be helpful in the long run, we both decided that it would be best if we stuck around each other. Now, Ambrose is main eventing the biggest show of the year, while his former Shield companions are both kicking themselves for not trying harder to keep the pack together.



-Don West-
But who am I to talk, right? How many times did it look like I was in over my head? How many times did it look like I had bitten off more than I could chew? But every time I was at my most helpless it was all due to the actions of one man: Paul Heyman. That’s right, I’m saving the best for last. Paul, you had it out for me since day one and I think we all know why. You were jealous and hated the fact that there was a new manager You went and beyond the call of duty to try and leave me with nothing, but you quickly found out that we were a lot of tougher than we looked. Ever since you unmasked Sangriento at Uprising things have been going downhill and for that, Paul, I will never forgive you.



-Don West-
Between me fighting for Amazing Red’s job back, to not having a job myself, we haven’t crossed paths much, but I can’t say that I missed seeing that ugly mug of yours every week or hearing that grating voice that makes my ears bleed. But now that the train is back on the tracks, I think it should go without saying that, Amazing Red and I? We’re out for blood! Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar were the root of our problems, and ever since The Monster Bash way back in October… in October, Paul! That’s how long your jealous has been fueling this vendetta of yours, but we’re going to finish what you started. What did you think, Paul… that Brock was going to have the night off? Or that he’d be free to give Goldberg a helping hand? I don’t think so, pal, at Final Stand, I’m demanding that that big buffoon make his way down to the ring and fight Amazing Red one. more. time!

The crowd pops at the announcement that these two bitter rivals may be going at it again and you can see, based on the look on his face, that Amazing Red is looking forward to fighting Lesnar again.

-Don West-
I’m not asking for yours or Stephanie McMahon’s permission for this match to happen. Amazing Red will be there in Miami, Florida in his ring gear and if Brock Lesnar has the balls of steel that you swear he does, then he will be there too. If you ask me, this has gone on for far too long, there has been too much blood spilt and we are far past the point of no return. But this match needs to happen there’s still too much uncertainty about who the better man is. There’s still too many sins that you haven’t repented for, and it kills me to admit that you got the last laugh by getting Red fired at Uprising. But Final Stand will be a different story. That will be the night that Brock Lesnar gets absolutely creamed so badly that he may never wrestle again, and I can’t say that I’d miss him.

I’ve never hated another man as much as I do you, Paul, but I want this to be over so that The West Side Army can move on to bigger and better things leaving you and Brock to console each other after suffering a soul-crushing defeat. Now, I now you’re not here, and I’m a little surprised that you haven’t managed to weasel your way in somehow, but I guess karma’s a little bitch, isn’t it. I bet you hate the taste of your own medicine and it must suck getting beat at your own game but a selfish prick as big as yourself deserves every second you spend in your own personal hell. But I’m not going to let you spoil what’s supposed to be a joyous occasion. Tonight is about celebrating a future that’s looking brighter than ever and I think it’s high time that the rest of the gang come out here and join us.





















The theme of AJ Lee hits across the arena, the fans instantly show their hate for AJ, especially for ruining this feel good moment. The look on West and Red's face says it all as they just stare up the ramp as AJ comes skipping out onto top of the stage. She has a smile across her face and a cake in her hands looks down the ramp at West and Red, she waves to Don West before skipping down the ramp and up the ring steps. She skips circles around West and Red, before coming to a halt to once again to hand the cake to Red then she waves at West before picking up a microphone

I just had to come out here and personally...welcome you back! I mean it..I really do. I know you was sat at home, worrying about Sara, Red and Dean...but Really I know you was sat home missing me...and I missed you to. Sara had nobody out here to run their mouth for her..and she actually had to speak for herself! She had to open that manly jaw of hers and let's be honest...That isn't something anybody wants to hear. So I’m glad you’re back, Don! You can now speak for Sara once again, you can now continue to build Sara up to something she isn't. While you was at home, worrying if you'd ever come back...worrying if you'll have to go back to some late night sale show nobody watches... I was making Sara's life hell, and now you're back... You can see it first hand, you can see first hand when I beat her at Final Stand.

AJ, darling you could beat anyone  if it were a contest of who’s most of their rockers! And you can sit there on your high horse all you want, but Sara made the right business decision when she decided to make me her official promoter and because of that investment, when you’re a thing of the past, a distant memory, she’ll still be around kicking people’s heads of their bodies! And don’t you act like you’ve been going through all of this alone; I know you’ve brought some company along for the ride, and know I’m not talking about Kaitlyn or Daniel Bryan or boyfriend #1,000, I’m talking about the voices in your head and that feed you the lies that make you believe that you are God’s gift to this diva’s division when on the contrary you’ve been nothing but a poison and a leech sucking this place dry of everything that once made it special!

..I thought you'd be happy to see me! I even brought you this cake..and I mean, It seems like you like Cake, so I thought what a better way to welcome you back! We stand a week before I destroy Sara at Final Stand, I wanted to give you one last moment of joy before it all comes crashing down at Final Stand...All this hype, all this happiness that you're back in XWL will come to an abrupt end at Final Stand. I will be the one to ruin your grand return, I will the one to ruin Sara's short lived XWL Career. Unlike Sara, I have had success and I will continue to have more success, I will beat Sara then I will go on to becoming Miss.Money in The Bank...do you know what that means, Don? I'd have achieved more in one single night, than Sara has in her entire career once again!



The people burst with cheers when Sara Del Rey’s music completely wipes the smug look off of AJ Lee’s face. All eyes are on the stage as The Queen of Wrestling steps onto the stage with a look in her eyes that makes it clear that she’s out to finish what she started last week. AJ has successfully gotten through the thick skin, but at what cost? Is the former Diva’s champion truly equipped to wage a war with the beast she has awakened? West catches on quickly, and as Del Rey menacingly makes her way down the ramp he does all that he can to try to sooth the burning anger raging deep within her.

-Don West-
Sara? Sara! Now just wait a second there; this is what she wants! We all know that you can beat AJ’s behind from here to Timbuktu and back again, but why spoil the match? Why give AJ an excuse for coming up short or a reason to cry foul when Final Stand becomes the biggest failure of both her career and her life so far? Listen to me, Sara, AJ’s trying to use you as a stepping stone so she can get back to her glory days, the days when she mattered around these parts. She was a champion and those memories are all she has left to hold on to because she can’t accept that she’s on her why out! When just winning a briefcase, just a chance to challenge for the championship is all she has going for her, it’s not hard to see why she’s been acting a pitifully as she has been. The title is yours, Sara, this division is yours to conquer and when the dust settles AJ will be just another casualty.

West goes to speak some more but stops himself when Del Rey enters the ring. She takes a couple of steps towards AJ who in turn takes a few steps back with one arm outstretched with the hand on the other clutching her microphone.

Ahhh Sara, Proving the coward you are once again. You're standing in the ring, face to face with me... a chance to do everything you say you can do, yet you just stand there taking orders from Don here like you're his pet dog. But I'm not here to ruin your little party...just yet, That can wait until Final Stand. For now... I'll leave you with your parting gift....

AJ takes the cake from Red and holds it up in front of Del Rey in an offering. Del Rey places her hands on her hips and looks around at the audience who are all collectively telling her not to accept it. Del Rey turns to stare back at AJ and smirks before trying to kick the cake into AJ”s face! AJ spins away and slams the pastry into her adversaries face! She backs away and smiles before licking the frosting off her index finger. West takes off his tie and tries to wipe the cake off Del Rey’s face who pushes him back and charges at AJ! AJ escapes out of the ring but doesn’t get far when Del Rey leans between the ropes and grabs AJ by the hair to keep her at bay while she exits the ring. Del Rey tosses AJ over the barricade and climbs over herself while the fans work themselves into a frenzy. West puts his hands over his head unsure of what to do as AJ and Del Rey’s brawl takes them deep into the crowd. West and Red exchange a look and they finally decide that they should try and help. The two men make their way out of the ring to—



The crowd gives off a loud boo as Brock Lesnar makes his way out to the stage. He paces back and forth, never taking his eyes off of The West Side Army. The crowd continues to boo as he reveals that he is holding a mic in his hand. He raises the mic to his lips as his music comes to a close. He stands there for a moment or two as the crowd awaits his response to the Final Stand Challenge. The crowd gives off huge boo as Brock drops the mic and smiles, before walking to the back.

The cameras cut back over to the ring where Don West and Amazing Red aren’t looking too amused themselves, and it isn’t that hard to figure out why. They declared that Final Stand would be the night that all of this animosity and hatred would be put to bed, but Brock Lesnar has other plans; the Beast Incarnate has one more game to play and that would be waiting until the last possible moment – someone privy to the antics of Lesnar and Heyman wouldn’t be surprised if they waited until Final Stand – to make his intentions known.

But Lesnar’s choice is a given, right? Surely he’d want to fight Amazing Red as much as Red wants to fight him. Though with The Heyman Crew all but disintegrated and the momentum in favor of The West Side Army, will Lesnar be willing to play a game he may not be able to win? That’s the burning question that desperately needs to be answered and it can’t even be guaranteed that it will be addressed or acknowledged, much less.

The scene we’re left with before Breakdown fades to a commercial break is that of Don West and Amazing Red looking at each other in the ring, while the fans chant: “Red! Red! Red!” at the top of their lungs.
