Fatal 4 Way Elimination No Disqualification Match

As the previous segment comes to an end, the camera cuts away to the backstage locker room where newest XWL superstar Magnus is sat making the final adjustments to his attire before his match tonight. Happy with his attire, Magnus reaches down to his boots and begins to lace them up, not noticing that Mickie James is stood in his doorway.



Mickie James
Hey.

The second he hears her voice, Magnus sits up straight and turns towards Mickie with a big smile  on his face.

Magnus
Mickie! I'm so glad you made it.

Mickie smiles bck at Magnus and he looks down again to return to lacing up his boots.

Magnus
You know, I've gotta tell you, I really never expected to be sitting here today, no matter how hard I worked, I never thought I'd make it to this point. Just a couple of minutes away from what will arguably be the most important match of my career. Chris Hero is such a talented wrestler, it really is an honour to have him as my first opponent, and I know that he is going to be one tough cookie to beat, but I won't let that get to me, I have to make a great first impression tonight, I need to show Stephanie that she didn't make a mistake in hiring me. More importantly, I need to show you that your faith in me was more than justified.

Magnus lifts his head and looks to Mickie to see that she's surveying his room, almost as if she's looking for something.

Magnus
Uh... Mickie?

Upon hearing her name, she turns back towards Magnus and smiles again.

Magnus
Are you alright?

Mickie James
I'm fine, now what was it you were saying?

Magnus sighs as he realises that Mickie wasn't paying attention to him.

Magnus
It's nothing... Don't worry about it.

Mickie nods lightly and enters into the room, looking at everything as she walks around. With his laces still in his grasp, Magnus lifts his head once more towards Mickie.



Magnus
Are you sure that you're alright?

Mickie James
Mhm. Why wouldn't I be?

Magnus
Well it's just that you look like you've lost something

Mickie James
You're right, I have lost something, I was hoping I'd find it here.

Magnus
Is it your belt?

Mickie looks down to her waist at her leather belt that's wrapped tightly through her jean shorts.

Mickie James
Don't be silly, my belts right here.

Magnus
No I mean your other belt.

Mickie James
I don't have any other belts.

Magnus
Sure you do, you know, your championship belt, the white one.

Mickie's face grows red as she looks towards the door to check if there's anyone around, having made sure that they were alone, she turns back towards Magnus.

Mickie James
Why do you always have to embarrass me like this?! Is it funny to you to show me up like that, do you get a kick out of it?! You know as well as I do that AJ Lee is the Divas Champion, not me. Jeez, you make me sick!

Magnus is in shock from Mickie's reaction, he drops the laces from his hands and moves to stand up.

Magnus
I'm sorry Mickie, I didn't mean to upset you, I was wrong to say such a thing, I hope you can forgive me

Mickie lowers her eyes away from Magnus.

Magnus
Please, I can't go out there tonight knowing that you aren't by my side. I'm sorry... I need you Mickie.

Magnus leans in to hug Mickie, but she pulls away.

Mickie James
Why on earth should I help you and stand by your side after you've made me look like such a fool? No, what you deserve is to be ridiculed, you deserve to feel exactly like you've made me feel... You can go out there by yourself tonight... Hopefully Chris Hero can knock some sense into that dense skull of yours. Oh and Magnus, when you lose tonight, don't even think about coming back to our hotel.. I don't associate myself with losers.

Mickie slaps Magnus hard across the side of his face which knocks his head to the side. Magnus is left standing speechless as Mickie turns around and walks to the door before turning her head back.

Mickie James
Oh and Magnus, good luck tonight, from what I've seen, and I've seen a lot... You're going to need it.

Mickie smiles at Magnus before making her way out of his room. The camera pans in on Magnus one last time, who is stroking his bright red cheek with the palm of his hand and then it cuts away to a video package for XWL Superstar, Jack Swagger.

Chris Hero: Three weeks, I haven't been seen or heard from in three weeks. I wasn't at the pay per view i didn't get to experience that great title change that has been going around. No Chris Hero has been doing something better Chris Hero has been relaxing taking a break watching XWL from his couch in Akron, Ohio. I arrived earlier today and Stephanie informed me that i have a match with somebody who is debuting tonight Magnus Oh yes Magnus one of those grapplers that don't give up i don't know how he is gonna do in the ring against me but i will guarantee that he will get knocked out!

Chris Hero: Magnus i want you to take notes on what i am about to say because what i am about to say will change everything maybe you'll learn a thing or two. I came in to this building earlier today preparing for my match always the first one here always the last one to leave and i was approached by a fool of a wrestler Eric Young. He came up to me and he said " Hey Chris good luck on your match tonight" Goodluck? did he just tell that knockout kid Goodluck? I though to myself and he did so i told him Chris hero doesn't need luck and he walked away with a frightening look in his eyes.

Chris Hero: You see everybody is talking about your debut Magnus but you know pretty soon everybody is gonna talk about Chris Hero knocking you out and giving you a beating of a lifetime. See you in the ring.

*Hero goes in the ring and begins training again*

[Jerry Lawler]
Oh man, this night is going great so far!

[Michael Cole]
You know, I have to agree with you Jerry. Breakdown has been off to a great start so far and I can't wait to see-

The lights in the arena go out, sending everything into darkness except for the flashing lights of camera's around the arena.

[Michael Cole]
What, what's going on?

As if almost an answer to Cole's question, a them song starts up, causing the arena to erupt in cheers.



[Michael Cole]
Oh my god, could it be?

[Jim Ross]
I think it is!

A single spotlight drops down on the stage, illuminating a man, who stares out and around the arena. Smoke begins to build up behind him, as though trying to build effect.



The camera zooms in on the cocky looking Ken Anderson. Anderson looks around some more, sucking in the crowd's positive reaction.



Anderson gives one last smirk before bending his knees and slowly extending a hand up in the air, causing his infamous mic to be lowered down to him. He catches it, pulling it to his lips. He rolls it around in his hand for a minute before speaking up.

[Mr. Anderson]
It has been far too long, kids. Days, weeks, months! All the waiting, praying, hoping and wishing is over! Because the asshole, is back baby!

He pulls the mic away from his mouth for a moment, pulling it back in just a few moments later.

[Mr. Anderson]
Things have changed, a lot. Alberto Del Rio is the world, heavyweight, champion! DX is running wild on XWL, and some broad holds the diva's title. People have built their legacies, implanted their names into the walls of this company, and for what? For Ken Anderson to come right on in with his bulldozer and show you why he is called, the Asshole.

Anderson cocks another smile.

[Mr. Anderson]
For the less intelligent ones in the back and joining us in the audience, let me read between the lines. Anderson is here, to ruin your day. I have wasted months while these people who can't lay a finger on me, shot to the top. Am I mad? Nah. I'm freakin' delighted. Why? Because that makes the pickings a hell of a lot easier. I mean look at it from my perspective, will ya? This company considers Ted Dibiase to be a big deal. How easy is this going to be? At least when I was here last, things made some sort of sense. People who actually deserved that spotlight picture, me, got it. Now it's just given to people. What happened to wrestling?

Anderson runs a hand over his face, trying to make sense of it.

[Mr. Anderson]
You know what, it's fine. I am not going to stress it over. I'm here to save the company, blah, blah, blah. World championship will be mine, blah, blah, blah. Who writes this, anyways? No wonder Colt Cabana went to waste around here. I'm just going to wrap this up then kiddies. Fans, XWL, Assholes, my name is....

Anderson leans back, shouting into his mic.

[Mr. Anderson]
MISTERRRR, ANDERSON!

Anderson pauses as the crowd erupts with a mix of "Kennedy" and "Anderson" yells. Anderson then calls the camera over till it's inches from him, gets right up to it, and finishes it off.

[Mr. Anderson]
An, der, son.

Anderson throws the mic away, letting it role back up into the ceiling as he runs his mouth to the camera man. None of it is able to be heard over Cole's commentary.

[Michael Cole]
I've missed this guy! He speaks nothing but the truth!

Jerry Lawler]
You know he doesn't like you, right?

[Michael Cole]
What do you mean, I'm sure he likes me! Everyone likes me!

[Jerry Lawler]
No, no they don't. We'll be back after this break.

Anderson's cocky smile rides out the show to a commercial break.

As Breakdown returns from a commercial break, we're taken to an arena backstage where good ol' Jeremy Borash is standing by looking as dapper as ever.

Jeremy Borash
And we're back to what has been a great Breakdown so far folks as we draw closer to the most violent pay per view of the calendar year: Xtreme Xmas! We already knew that Antonio Cesaro and The Miz would be competing in rematches for their respective championships, so the only thing up in the year was who the Intercontinental Champion, The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels would be defending his coveted championship against. Well folks, last week we got our answer when Alex Shelley defeated CM Punk in a heated back-and-forth battle to secure his number one contendership. Now it's official, ladies and gents: at Xtreme Xmas it will be Alex Shelley taking on Shawn Michaels with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. And much to nobody's surprise, here with me at this time is none other than the number one contender himself: Alex Shelley!

Alex Shelley
What is this, two weeks in a row we've been at this? It's really great to see that we're getting back into the swing of things after my one week away from this place at November to Remember; I know that must have really put a damper on stuff. You know, I've been having so much fun doing this that I'm putting some legitimate thought into retiring and becoming a full-time interviewee.

Jeremy Borash
I doubt you'd make enough money to support your extracurricular activities.

Alex Shelley
There are so many women in the workforce these days that they should be able to pay for their own taxi rides home by now, right?

Jeremy Borash
Well sure... But I was referring more to the rock band and video games. Besides, you have such a passion for this business that I can't see you walking away from it anytime soon, especially not when you're one win away from holding the Intercontinental Champion for the first time in your career.

Alex Shelley
And man, what a feeling it was to defeat the great CM Punk, a former world champion as recent as years ago, mind you, smack dab in the middle of the ring to earn that shot. If I didn't know any better — and if my vision wasn't kinda blurry because I was knocked a little woozy from that knee to the jaw —I would have sworn I saw a couple of surprised looks in the crowd. But you weren't surprised, were you, JB? You believed in me, right?

Jeremy Borash
Of course I did; you sounded so confident before the match that it was hard not to get behind you.

Alex Shelley
I may have sounded confident, but even I was a little surprised at the outcome of the match; that entire moment: my music hitting, the ref raising my hand in victory, the people chanting my name... It all felt a little surreal. You get into the ring with someone like Punk and you know it's going to be one hell of a fight and sometimes it only takes one screw up, no matter how small it is, to cost you a match. I made sure I wrestled that one perfectly while Punk underestimating me backfired and it's because of that why he's gonna have to find a different way to spend his Sunday night two weeks from now, give or take an hour.

Jeremy Borash
Many are lulled into underestimating you because you don't seem to take much seriously on the surface. Then they get into the ring and—

Alex Shelley
And they find that not much as changed—

Jeremy Borash
There is that, but you find a way to convert your efforts into wins more often than not and at the end of the day that is the ultimate goal.

Alex Shelley
I'm a firm a believer that if everyone just sat down and enjoyed a couple of relaxing sessions of Grand Theft Auto this world would be a better place.

Jeremy Borash
Wiser words have never been spoken.

Alex Shelley
That'd be perfect for someone like Punk to get the frustration out. I wish it didn't have to come to that, I'm sure we could be the best of friends outside the ring, hell, I would have loved to wrestle for the World Championship instead but with the way the economy is in this day and age you just gotta take what you can get sometimes.

Jeremy Borash
Well he's still on the poster, maybe that will keep his spirits up.

Alex Shelley
I'd like to think that's more for me than it is for him.

Jeremy Borash
How so?

Alex Shelley
Well it'll serve as a motivational tool of sorts telling me that if I had it in me to defeat Punk then it should be just as possible to defeat the Heartbreak Kid.

Jeremy Borash
The last two times you squared off it was you who came out on top, so it should be safe to say you have his number...

Alex Shelley
...yet he never answers when I call...

Jeremy Borash
Though it could also be reasonable to say that HBK will be doing everything a human being can to stop that hat trick.

Alex Shelley
HBK certainly does know a thing or two about hats with that thinning hairline. He's definitely not a kid anymore.

Jeremy Borash
Perhaps not, but he is still one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of this business.

Alex Shelley
And one of the greatest wrestlers in history is going to be defeated for the third time when I take a page out of his book and kick his teeth down his throat, which will make sliced bread that much harder to swallow.

Jeremy Borash
Chances are that the man you're facing tonight, Triple H, will be in his partner's corner. Do you have reservations?

Alex Shelley
Triple H has been one of those guys that I just can't seem to shake. Who knows? Maybe his mere presence at ringside will shift the odds to his partners' favor. All that's really certain is that HBK isn't going to give up that title or the spotlight without a fight, luckily I'm equipped with the tools necessary to give him that fight, and then some. HBK's reunion with the Intercontinental Championship has been touching, but I'm here to spoil the party and if I have my way he won't make it to New Year's with the belt, much less an entire year.

Wow, Bobby Roode expressing his mind right now what do you think King?

Jerry Lawler
I like it no as a matter of fact i love it i can't wait to see what he brings her in XWl.

* Bobby drops the mic and taunts *

*As Breakdown returns from its last segment we see a man sitting on a crate wearing jeans and a black tank top



After the cameraman moves the camera we see the man sitting is Seth Rollins!

[Adam The Cameraman]
Hey Seth, I wanted to know if you wanted to answer a few of my questio-

[Seth Rollins]
Shoot.

[Adam The Cameraman]
Okay, well I wanted to ask what many people have been wondering for awhile, where have you been? Why haven't you been wrestling on Breakdown, I mean yeah you wrestled at Novem-

*Seth then puts his hand to the cameraman, signaling him to stop, before answering.



[Seth Rollins]
I don't fight without a reason. Now I know that I'm paid weekly to wrestle in front of millions of people, but honestly, some days I just don't feel like it. And every month someone's always at my throat so I don't see the point in taking my anger out on someone else, now when beating that person leads me to a title shot that's a different story. And of course, when I'm fighting those two pricks, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, I'll give it my all.

[Adam The Cameraman]
What does Stephanie think of this?

[Seth Rollins]
She doesn't like it one bit. *Seth chuckles* In fact, we just had a talk about this, and she said that starting by Xtreme Xmas, if I don't wrestle every week then I'll be fired. So I guess you'll be seeing my pretty face kick some ass for every week as a Christmas present.

[Adam The Cameraman]
Sweet. On a more serious topic, What did you think of what went down at November To Remember, and what can we expect from the three of you in the near future?





[Seth Rollins]
What did I think? I thought it was pretty awesome, well except for Roman Reigns cheating his ass out of our match, but as for me getting a good piece of him and Ambrose, it was great. Now I know I didn't come out on top in that brawl but I wasn't laid out on my ass either and in due time, Seth Rollins will stand above not only Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, but XWL as a whole.

[Adam The Cameraman]
Pretty bold words. As my last question, I wanted to get your thoughts on Dean Ambrose's words last week? Do you think there was a weak link in the Shield?

[Seth Rollins]
There wasn't a weak link. There was just a poisoned man following two demons.

*Seth then puts his two hands up, gesturing to illustratee the two "demons" he's talking about.



[Seth Rollins]
One of those demons, Roman Reigns, made a sick man worse when I took him under my wing. He made me think I was untouchable, but I wasn't. I don't why I did but I superkicked Roman Reigns at Final Stand V and it might have been subliminal, but after Dead Man's Hand,  I didn't take the hint. I was still poisoned, and more was to come.

[Seth Rollins]
Dean Ambrose would like you to BELIEVE that he got me my two Intercontinental Title shots, but I didn't even deserve the first one as much as the next guy because of a wheel and the second one was only given to me because of my showing in the first match. Dean Ambrose also wanted me and all of you to BELIEVE in The Shield, but the Shield was a ruse. All we would do was attack people, and most of the time it was either because they were a World Title contender Dean knew, he couldn't beat by himself. The Shield was nothing but a savage cult and unlike the Wyatt Family, who at least admits they brainwash people, Dean Ambrose wanted me and Roman to BELIEVE that we were all....

When of course he, and probably you all knew we were mindless sheep. Something that I ironically called all of you, now I know I said all of the sappy crap in the world at Monster's Bash but I hope you guys could forgive me and I know some of you won't but that doesn't mean I won't keep fighting. BELIEVE that! *Seth then stops looking intensely at the camera, and then says Any more questions?

[Adam The Cameraman]

Breakdown cuts backstage to see Tony Dawson, standing by with The Show-Off, Dolph Ziggler


[Tony Dawson]
Dolph, Thanks for taking time to join me. Last week, you defeated Sangriento to make it two impressive back to back victories, but after that match Austin Aries attacked you and hit you with a Brainbuster, Aries obviously feels some payback is needed after the way you defeated him at November to Remember, Wh..


[Dolph Ziggler]
Just stop, stop right there. Austin Aries is a coward and he proved that last week when he attacked me after I easily defeated Sangriento. If that's the way Austin Aries wants to react to a loss then fine, it just goes to show I've been right about him all along. I don't need to prove anything to Austin Aries, I beat him at November to Remember and that's all I needed to do. Now I can finally move on, I can move on to where I should be... In the main event. Later tonight you will see just why I am back where I belong, when I defeat Jeff Hardy, John Cena and Chris Jericho. This is just the first stepping stone of me reclaiming my World Championship, the World Championship I was screwed out of by Chris Jericho. My rightful rematch was taken away from me just so they could give the spotlight to Alberto Del Rio. So if that's the way it has to be, then I'll just continue to be the best damn wrestler on this roster.


[Dolph Ziggler]
I've proved myself time and time again, I've beat everybody there is to beat and it's about damn time I start getting what I deserve. Tonight I will be left standing in that ring with my hand raised high. But I know that still won't be good enough, I still won't be seen as good enough to get what I deserve. I'm sick of waiting around for my chance, I'm sick of only getting that call when their first choices turn it down. I'm no John Morrison, I don't get handed chance after chance, I have to work my ass off for everything I have ever had but It still isn't enough. I've said time and time again I am the best in this business and I prove it every time I step into that ring, tonight will be no different.


[Dolph Ziggler]
I'll be going out to that ring to do what I always do and that is steal the show. I'll prove I'm better than John Cena, I'm better than Jeff Hardy and I will Finally prove I am better than Chris Jericho. I'm going to be the one left standing in the middle of that ring, and that is a fact. And now, I will go and do what a lot of superstars fail to do, and back that up. Show....Off.

Heyman looks into the distance fondly and waves his hand in front of him dramatically as if what he is saying is huge news

Curtis Axel, the son of Mr. Perfect, versus the speedy high flying Sangriento!! Wait for it… Stipulations being if Curtis Axel wins, then I get to choose The Ryback's opponent at X-Treme X-Mas and stand in his corner. If Sangriento wins than I'll never bother you about The Ryback again. Deal?

You just don't get it, do you Paul? It doesn't matter if it's Curtis Axel or Brock Lesnar... Hell you could bring back one of your old guys or find yourself some new poor sap to make miserable... None of your guys will ever compare to mine and if playing your game one more week and beating the likes of Axel is what it takes to get your grubby paws off Ryback then so be it. I really hope you weren't banking on Axel to work miracles for you because next week you're going to be in for even more disappoint and at Xtreme Xmas the hits are gonna keep coming when you're forced to toss that towel into the ring when it finally dawns on you that Brock Lesnar isn't the man you claim he is.

Heyman looks like he is about to respond but then pauses.

Hey Noodlehead... is there a reason you're standing in my locker room right now?  Shouldn't you be getting ready for your loss tonight?  I mean, every time I've beaten you in the past it's left you a shell of your former self for a good few weeks before you re-emerge with false confidence and self-belief once again.  It's a recurring cycle...  Why will tonight be any different?  So get out of my locker room junior... I'm busy.



[Dolph Ziggler]
Noodlehead..Original. Almost as original as every time you open your mouth and claim to the best in the world when you're far from it. Tonight you will see that your victories over me were nothing but a fluke. When I'm the one left standing tall tonight, it will prove that I am the best in the world and it will finally prove what you've known deep down all along.... You're a has-been. Tonight will be different because I'm better than I've ever been, I'm on the rise back to my world heavyweight championship.

You're right, Noodlehead is old.  Maybe I should start calling you "Noodlebrains" instead because what you're saying is ridiculous and illogical.  First off, I'm a has-been?  Really Dolph, that's the best you could come up with?  How many times do you think I've been called a has-been?  Yet time and time again I prove the nay-sayers wrong because I'm in my prime.  You're not the best in the world Dolph, I am.  That's why I was named the Superstar Of The Year.  That's why I was crowned the King Of The Ring.  And that is why I will soon once again become World Heavyweight Champion.  Not you Dolph.  Do you understand what I am saying to you right now?

You've already had your chance Dolph and you blew it.  You'll officially be going down in history as one of the most anti-climatic champions of all time.  You're a let-down.  You couldn't handle the spotlight which you craved so badly.  You couldn't handle the top spot.  You surprised everybody by failing as much as you did, but I've made that spot my own over the past couple of years, I didn't expect you to have what it took to keep it.  You don't have what it takes to be the best Dolph... you never have and you never will.  Like I've told you over and over again, which always seems to never sink into your thick skull... you're no different than anybody else.  You're average.  And all of this charade about being the Show Stealer... all of these lies about being as good as you say you are... it's all just a character.

Ladies and gentlemen, my guests at this time... the Intercontinental and United States Champions... D-Generation X.

The camera pans outward to reveal The Heartbreak Kid and The Game standing by in full DX gear.

Gentlemen, last week your comments seemed to upset a lot of people.  You-

Triple H cuts in.

[Triple H]
You know what Todd?  Cut the crap, everybody knows we upset people last week.  Heck, we upset people every week.  That's what D-Generation X does.  We speak our minds.  We're not "yes men" who do what we're told or prance around here kissing ass and pretending like XWL is perfect.  Shawn and I, we're above that.  If we don't like something, we'll tell you about it.  XWL might not agree with what we say but it's our opinion.  And last I checked, it was not against the law to have an opinion.  Freedom of speech is a right.  We don't give a damn if people get upset.




[Shawn Michaels]
You see Todd, when me and Hunter reformed DX we said that we are the old DX and we meant every damn word of it. We've never been the two guys to please the boss and nothing has changed. We're still the same DX as we used to be, and that ain't going to change any time soon. And to top it off I got in trouble for shooting last week...

[Todd Grisham]
...shooting?

[Shawn Michaels]
Well after the show last week, I headed back to San Antonio and decided to do a bit of hunting...Long story short some people weren't too happy with me and...

[Triple H]
Wait, Somebody complained about you shooting?

[Shawn Michaels]
Yeah...I couldn't believe it either!

[Triple H]
I mean, I don't get why...Everybody loves a bit of shooting, right?

[Shawn Michaels]
That's what I thought! But apparently its frowned upon!

[Triple H]
Well, it's completely legal in your home state so I don't see how...

[Shawn Michaels]
Anyhow, I don't give a damn.  I'm going to carry on shooting whenever the heck I want to, and Hunter as you know... you can be my wingman anytime!

[Triple H]
I'm always up for some shooting myself.  I'll have to take you up on that over the holiday period Shawn.  Speaking of Christmas, what are you hoping for this year?

[Todd Grisham]
Well, I could use a nice new pair of socks...

[Triple H]
Not you, you idiot!  Shawn!  What do you want for Christmas?  And socks?  Really?  That's all you could think of?



[Shawn Michaels]

Well, what more is there to say than DX accomplished more in one month than the Motor City Machineguns have in their entire existence?  Tonight it's just going to be a walk in the park and yet another victory under my belt.  So little Alex can try his best but there's no chance in hell of him walking out with the win.  Tonight, he'd be better off staying backstage playing with his cardboard cutouts and his videogames or showering with his buddy Sabin, or whatever it is he does.  Then Shawn gets to beat him again at Xtreme Xmas while I get to beat the crap out of the bald Swiss guy again.  Could this job be anymore fun?

[Todd Grisham]
And speaking of Antonio Cesaro, Shawn, how do you feel about stepping in the ring with him tonight?  He's arguably one of the strongest men on the XWL roster and has been as impressive as they come over the past couple of months... Not to mention the two of you have a history together...



[Shawn Michaels]
Impressive? You saw what Hunter did to him right? Cesaro got me when I was far from my best, I wasn't the same Shawn Michaels, I wasn't the showstopper, the main event, the icon. I was none of that.. but now, I'm all of that and much more. I'm now the Intercontinental Champion. Tonight, I will kick Cesaro's teeth down his throat and then at X-Treme X-mas Hunter will defeat him..again. I will defeat Alex Shelley and D-Generation X will reign supreme.

[Triple H]
A lot of people have stood up to us so far and no doubt a lot of people will stand up to us going forward, but D-Generation X is evergreen.  We're better than we've ever been and whoever tries to prove us wrong will be left embarrassed and beaten.  Every week we get better.  Who cares if we rub some people the wrong way?  Who gives a damn if we crush our opposition or keep these titles forever?  The fans love it.  We love it.  Everybody, deep down loves D-Generation X... whether they admit it or not.  Nothing and nobody is going to silence us or make us change our ways.  The fact is, we're here to stay.  And if you're not down with that, we've got two words for ya...

In Sync with The Showstopper the crowd in the arena can be heard shouting "suck it". Both Triple H and Shawn Michaels pat Todd on the shoulder before walking off screen

The image of The Divas Champion AJ Lee fades as the video package promoting the XWL Divas finishes. Just as soon as it does we head backstage where Matt Striker is standing by with the two longest reigning Divas Champions in XWL history, Kaitlyn and Layla.



[Matt Striker]
Ladies and gentlemen, with me now are two very special guests, they're the best of friends, two women that know how to make an impact here in XWL, and tonight they are tag-team partn-

Suddenly Striker stops, as his eyes as well as the eyes belonging to Layla and Kaitlyn shift to left of the screen. The camera moves along to get a look at what's got them so distracted, and we find out exactly why...because while Layla's here, she's not alone, still handcuffed to her is none other than The Divas Champion AJ Lee. That doesn't seem to be what's got them so lost though, it's what she's doing that has them so lost. AJ's title is held closely to her face, she's staring at it lovingly, whispering to it, admiring it, and briefly heard saying over and over "We'll be together forever..." We leave AJ to her conversation with The Divas Championship and switch back to the full focus of Matt Striker as his guests who seem to be attempting to not pay attention to the crazy chick talking to her title.




[Matt Striker]
Moving on...like I was saying it's a pleasure to have you both here with me, as we know you're both very accomplished women here, you strive to be the best and while neither of you have the Divas Championship right now...

Matt's eyes glance back over to AJ, who from the look in her eyes, still seems to be gazing at her title with a twinkle in her eye.

[Matt Striker]
You're without a doubt very strong threats to...well that. So heading into this tag-team match together tonight against The Divas Champion is no doubt a huge opportunity. Naturally you both are friends now, so you should be on the same page, while the same obviously can't be said for your opponents. I know some things have happened between you two, Layla you defeating Kaitlyn in the Elimination Chamber, Kaitlyn you choosing Layla to be handcuffed to AJ not long after...are you both on good terms still?

Striker moves the microphone to Layla, hoping to get a response from her first.



[Layla]
Absolutely, you know friendships are tested a lot in this business, because you know the competitive nature, everyone wants to be on top, no one wants to stay out of the spotlight for long, it's about standing out, it's about making a name for yourself, not them. But at the end of the day I hold no grudges against Kaitlyn and while I may have said some things regarding this...

Layla holds her wrist up, showing off the handcuff that stretches off to the right of her and ends at a handcuff belonging to AJ.

[Layla]
I need to respect her decision, just like she had to respect that I won The Elimination Chamber, and...she didn't. She also was really cool about me totally almost breaking her neck to do it, what more can you ask for in a friend?



[Kaitlyn]
I'm just being a good friend because you know how the saying goes; keep your friends close and your enemies closer. How closer can they get then being handcuffed together? Now, think of it like this, AJ can't go and plan any back handed tricks because her opponent is right there to listen to her. So I mean, I kinda think I'm doing Layla a favor with all of this.

[Matt Striker]
You know Layla, she kinda has a point.

[Kaitlyn]
Plus, it is pretty funny watching your antics.

[Matt Striker]
And there goes her point.

[Kaitlyn]
But without a doubt, I'd say we are still friends. I do feel it was a little immature of Layla to call me immature for choosing her to handcuff AJ to but I mean, part of the satisfaction of that win was to amuse myself. Having her handcuffed to you, Matt, wouldn't be that fun considering I never see you. Having her handcuffed to someone like Madison Eagles wouldn't be that fun either. I mean, I could've chose someone like Joey Ryan but that would be amusing for him and not for me. So once again, sorry Layla, but it was just too good to pass up.




[Layla]
In my defense I was a little blindsided by it, so blame it on millions of thoughts running through my head all at once. I mean this was the night I was challenging for The Divas Championship...so I'm sorry for saying that Kaitlyn, but if you were in my shoes I'm sure you'd have been a little confused as well.


[Matt Striker]
A little heads up probably wouldn't have hurt.


[Layla]
It doesn't matter though, I know that we've been through a lot together, we trust each other, it's taken a while to get to that point, but I believe we've built a friendship that can stand the test of any challenge. I mean look at The Elimination Chamber, if we can stand here still friends after all of punishment we put each other through in that match, then there's nothing that can tear us apart. I mean, unless I suddenly get a thing for Kaitlyn's new...love interest? But I prefer men that don't take longer than me to get ready, more power to you through sweetie.



[Kaitlyn]
Love interest? What are you tal- Wait, Fandango? Oh god no, I wouldn't be in love with him in his dream's wildest dreams. He's busy with Summer Rae anyway, who I'm still looking for so if you see her then be sure to let me know because I have yet to find her. Plus I mean, I'd rather go out with someone who is a bit... brighter, if you get what I mean. But by all means, if you get something for him then go for it, he's all yours and I won't stop you.



[Layla]
No, I think it's safe to say neither of us have any interest in "Fandangoing" with Fandango.


[Matt Striker]
I see what you did there, very clever. Now Kaitlyn as a friend of Layla's, perhaps you can give her some insight as to what your game plan would be if you were in her shoes? She's handcuffed to The Divas Champion, bringing her a number of opportunities, which could make her a serious threat to AJ's Divas Championship now that AJ has disposed of Madison Eagles. Layla's with AJ every second of every day thanks to you handcuffing them together, so naturally that presents a lot of advantages. Such as being there for every single one of AJ's matches, seeing up close and personal how she operates in the ring, if you were in her position, what would you do? Aside from lose your mind.

[Kaitlyn]
I know AJ better then anyone. I've dealt with the sane, I've deal with the crazy. I've dealt with the once best friend and I've deal with the still best bitch. The only suggestion I can truly give Layla is to not let her get into your head because once she gets in your head, she has won half the battle already. You've just gotta keep a clear mind, and that is basically that and I'm going to stop now before I sound like some Yoga Instructor. But basically, that is what I'd have to offer even though I'm sure she knows that, I just don't think most people know how easy it would be for her to actually get in that head of yours.



[Layla]
But I'm not most people, you and me, the reason we get along so well, is because we're not like everyone else. We can't be easily fooled, we know when something isn't right, and we know how to spin things in our favor. I'm learning more and more about what makes AJ "tick" and what sets her off...The Divas Championship holds a very special place in her heart, and that's just...that's so precious.

[Kaitlyn]
Stopping her from getting into your head is harder than it sounds. But hey, I'm here to help considering I'm the girl who has beat AJ more than anyone else probably. Normal matches, ladder matches, championship matches. I think it is safe to say I've got AJ's number.

[Matt Striker]
Either way, I think Layla has the chance to kinda get some revenge here tonight you two are set to face The Divas Champion, AJ Lee, and Bayley in a tag team match! And speaking of Bayley, what exactly are your thoughts on her going into this match? She is certainly... Different compared to most of the Divas here.




[Layla]
I think she's just adorable, she's obviously a fan at heart, and she's finally getting a chance at living out her dream. Tonight has got to be a dream come true for her, teaming with one of her idols? I'm happy for her, I'm sad that she's facing us...and heading into a match where her partner isn't exactly "feeling the love." But I like her, she's a breath of fresh air, when she's not squeezing the air out of you...I wish her all the best here, too many people come in this company with no respect at all, and she seems to have nothing but respect, so she's alright in my book.



[Kaitlyn]
I think what Layla said pretty much hit the nail right on the head. Besides the fact that her apparent "idol" could have been a better choice than AJ, I think she really has the potential to have a bright future. But first, she's just got to get through tonight when she teams with AJ to face without a doubt, the two greatest divas champions this company has had. May it be a Bombshell to the head, a Lotus Lock, a Layout or a spear, I'd be careful if I were her.

[Matt Striker]
So Layla, I was just wondering this, tracking back to the whole handcuff ordeal. But if you were given the chance to handcuff AJ to Kaitlyn, would you have done it? It is pretty obvious that Kaitlyn would handcuff you to here, but I think some would like to know if you'd repay the favor if given the chance.



[Layla]
Well I mean, it is the Holiday season...what could be better? It's like the gift that keeps on giving, first it gives you a headache or two,  it gives you a friend for life...or what feels like it. But best of all, it gives you that warm fuzzy feeling inside when you see the love shared between coo coo and her coco puff. It's magical stuff, no seriously...how else do you explain a woman being able to hear something that nobody else in the world does? Surely that wouldn't insist that she's....oh, I don't know...what's the word?


[Matt Striker]
Crazy?

AJ snaps out of her happy daze, hooks her title over her shoulder, and strikes a piercing stare at Striker with a look that could kill.  She brushes her hair slowly behind her ear before speaking slowly in a low, quiet tone.  Layla knows this has set her off and laughs behind her hand.

[AJ Lee]
What... did you say?

[Matt Striker]
I just said that Layla is implying that you're crazy AJ...

AJ's rage is clear for all to see as she snaps back an angry response.

[AJ Lee]
I AM NOT CRAZY!  You're the crazy one standing here talking to these two instead of interviewing me!  I'm the Divas Champion!  I'm the greatest woman to ever lace up a pair of wrestling boots and you'd rather interview these two bimbos?  What is wrong with you Matt?!?  If anyone is crazy, it's you!

[Matt Striker]
I'm just doing my job.  There's no need to-

[AJ Lee]
Did I say you could talk Matt?!?  Did it look like I was finished?!  Shut up and listen to what I have to say!  Layla, I hate being handcuffed to you as much as you do to me, but I'm sick and I'm tired of you degrading me and making jokes at my expense.  You'd think that the way I dominated you at November To Remember would make you respect me as both a competitor and a person... but no!  Here you are once again making fun of me.  And you Kaitlyn... who gives a damn if you've beat me a few times?  All that matters is that I have the Divas Championship right now, and you don't... and you never will again.  

AJ's not done, her temper has clearly boiled over as she was clearly taking in all of this interview despite appearing to be in some kind of a trance with her title.

[AJ Lee]
I bet the two of you have set Bayley on me too.  You've conspired against me and come up with this amazing grand plan to try and rattle me, to get inside my head and make me slip up.  But I see through your mind games.  I can deal with Bayley and those... hugs.

AJ is disgusted as she utters the word which is clear by her face as it looks as though she's sucking on a lemon.

[AJ Lee]
I can deal with them because I'll do whatever it takes to hold onto my title.  It's never going to leave me again.  Whatever it takes to keep it, I'll do it.  But trust me... one of these days, when I'm free from these handcuffs, all three of you will get what's coming to you.  You think you have me all figured out... that I'm some delusional psychopath obsessed with the Divas Championship... but the truth is, I'm already inside your heads.  And you don't even know it yet.


With AJ breathing heavily, having ranted for what seems like forever, Layla and Kaitlyn stare at each other with a look that can only be described as "you deal with this" Layla being the one shackled to The Divas Champion, seems to be the one forced into responding.


[Layla]
Are you done yet? We've been over this before AJ, if you want respect, you have to first learn how to show it yourself. You treat every single woman in this division like they're nothing compared to you, which REAL TALK...that couldn't be more further from the truth. You're good, neither of us deny that, but if we're going to get along for however long we're stuck together....then you need to start treating me with some decency. I'll give you November to Remember you beat me, bravo, want me to pat you on the back and bow down to your or something? You're forgetting I've beaten you before too, as a matter of fact a hell of a lot more than you've beaten me. Now I think you owe me, and Kaitlyn an apology for talking to us like that.

AJ looks in pure disbelief at being told to apologize.

[AJ Lee]
Apologize?!  Apologize for what?  Speaking the truth?  You know what... we're out of here.

AJ tugs hard on the handcuffs causing Layla to stumble a little to the side as AJ tries to make them both make a quick exit.  Layla begins to pull back and the two are locked in a tug of war which is pretty evenly matched as Kaitlyn looks on rolling her eyes.

[AJ Lee]
Layla!  We're leaving!  Move now!

The tug of war continues for a few more moments before AJ gives up with a defeated sigh, realizing they aren't going anywhere.

[Kaitlyn]
I've gotta say Matt, I'm enjoying this way more then I should. But really, who cares if AJ thinks their are these conspiracy theories against her. Who cares if she thinks that because she holds the belt, she is the best. Which let me just say is wrong because the belt doesn't make the champion, the champion makes the belt. Quite frankly, sure AJ already has two defenses under her belt but the things is, I have no reason to truly consider her a champion with the way she has acted.

Kaitlyn shrugs her shoulders before going to speak once again.

[Kaitlyn]
But hey, no need to try and convince her about anything. She can believe this or that, it doesn't matter. Her brain really isn't in the right place so what is left to us is right to her and vice-versa. All that matters is that she goes into that ring and she watches out because when she'd least expect it... She could be taken down a notch after I spear her... again!

Kaitlyn again kicks the living hornet's nest known as the volatile AJ Lee.

[AJ Lee]
Shut up Kaitlyn!  What do you know?... you didn't even want to be a wrestler until I got you interested in it!  You were always aiming to be this muscle-head freak bodybuilder until I turned your head to wrestling!  Who are you to judge me?  Who are you to talk down to me?  If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't even be here right now.  But you don't care about that do you?  All you ever do is step on people to further your own career or better your own life.  Layla will find out sooner or later just what an evil conniving little bitch you are!

With that AJ takes a swipe at Kaitlyn with her free hand, the slap barely missing her as Kaitlyn ducks.  AJ takes another swing but she's restrained by Layla.

[Kaitlyn]
Conniving little bitch, huh? Well, with all the time we spent on the road, I guess that it is safe to say that I learnt from the best! Lay, I'll catch you out there, I feel like I may be going a little crazy just talking to her.

Instantly AJ snaps at the sound of her trigger word echoing through her ears...


[AJ Lee]
CRAZY?! I'LL SHOW YOU CRAZY!


Her hand just barely misses Kaitlyn's face as her talons tries to claw Kaitlyn's eyes out in one livid response. Layla continues holding AJ back, not allowing this mad woman to get her hands on Kaitlyn. Amused by the situation Kaitlyn just laughs faintly, then waves at Layla and walks off. Continuing to break free from Layla, AJ struggles and struggles but it's no use. Eventually realizing that it's not going to happen, AJ stands with her arms crossed, glaring in the direction Kaitlyn left in. Layla sighs, rolling her eyes in response to AJ's tirade.


[Layla]
Oh yeah, you sure showed her alright...

Layla's sarcastic tone does not sit well with AJ one bit, but instead of going off on her, or trying to rip her eyes out...AJ just stares at her scowling silently, for the first time since being handcuffed they'll be on opposite ends of the ring, with all of the frustration between the both of them, you can tell that tonight's tag-team match will present a welcome opportunity that they've been waiting for. The two shackled sisters glare into each other's eyes, arms crossed, and not a single word uttered as we fade out.
