[Triple H]
We did it Shawn.  DX now has both the Intercontinental and United States Championship.  They all said it couldn't be done.  They all said that we were past it, that we couldn't be successful again.  But we proved them all wrong.

[Shawn Michaels]
We sure did, I beat that beastly Ryback and you beat...What's his name! Despite everything put against us, we overcame it all and we are standing here having created history. Some people might think we're a bit "new" around here but let's face it, we've been two of the top guys in this business for years, ever since we returned 2 months ago, we have dominated our way through each other and through the XWL roster. We've gone to that ring every week and entertained each and every fan and that's not something everybody can do.

[Triple H]
I have to admit, it feels good to be champion again.  It didn't look like it'd ever happen again but now that it has, I want more.  I want to be the greatest United States Champion this company has ever seen, and maybe, I'll get to be World Champion again someday.  I can imagine the rage from the internet fans already just from me saying that.  I bet they're already making me out to be some kind of egotistical maniac.  But who the hell cares?  DX is back where we belong.  DX is back in business.  



[Shawn Michaels]
We've already achieved more in short 2 months than some have in a career.  Nobody wants us to be standing here with these championships, not the XWL Management, not Vinny Mac.. Not even your wife! But we haven't let that stop us. We've already overcome the odds and we will continue to do that. X-Treme X-mas will be no different, You'll walk to that ring and beat Antonio Cesaro..again. and I'll beat whoever it is I have to face be it Alex Shelley or be it CM Punk, it makes no difference.

[Triple H]
Speaking of Xtreme Xmas... have you seen that poster?  The one with CM Punk and Santa and the reindeers in the background?  Pretty cool right?

[Shawn Michaels]
Yeah... I've seen it... sooo?

[Triple H]
Well Shawn... you might get a little upset about this.  But this is the original design.  One of my "contacts" leaked it to me.

Triple H pulls out a piece of paper from his pocket and unfolds it revealing a DX-themed Xtreme Xmas poster.



[Triple H]
Pretty sweet right?  But guess what?  Apparently we're "not good enough" to be on the poster.  So they scrapped it and stuck with Punk.  Nice way to treat two of your top stars who bust their ass every single week right?

You can see Shawn biting on his hand to contain his anger, while shaking his head.

[Triple H]
Shawn... are you okay?  There's no need to get upset, we've put up with crap like this before...




[Shawn Michaels]
Are you kidding me?! I'm the Intercontinental Champion, You're the United States Champion! How can they put CM Punk on over us?!

[Triple H]
Calm down, Shawn.

[Shawn Michaels]
Don't tell me to calm down!

[Triple H]
Shawn...Just relax, it's ok.

Shawn takes a few deep breaths and begins to calm down

[Shawn Michaels]
You're right... We don't need our faces on a poster, we don't need the approval of XWL Management. We prove that we are two of the best superstars in this company week in and week out. They can turn a blind eye to that all they want, but we will continue to prove it each and every week and give them no choice but to recognize our effort and our work each and every week.



[Triple H]
We know we're as good as we say we are.  That's all that matters.  We don't need our names up in lights to prove that.  It'd be nice to be on the poster but hey we all know how much Vince loves DX... I guess it's rubbed off on a few people.  And to be honest with you Shawn, if it means we need to start magically teleporting to the ring showing little to no emotion before vanishing again to gain the management's approval... well, I'd rather not.  I didn't even know that they'd figured out how to do that yet, so I guess the technology could be a little bit ropey... but it seems to be working for our tattooed friend.



[Shawn Michaels]
You know, Hunter. You're right, I'd much rather enjoy what I'm doing than change to gain the approval of the "higher ups", that isn't what D-Generation X is about. We're about creating controversy and having fun, and that's exactly what we do.

[Triple H]
And that's exactly what we'll continue to do.  And at Xtreme Xmas, I'll beat baldie, you'll beat the poster boy or the video game nerd... and tonight we'll beat the reality TV greaseball and a mexican millionaire.  It writes itself.  I can't think of a better way to have more fun than to make fun of and beat all of those guys.  Their characters sound just as bad as your sitcom Shawn.



[Shawn Michaels]
We've been through this, it was a dark time of my career and I was desperate! But all that is the past, ever since that I've turned my career around, and it's just going to get better. We will be victorious tonight, then we will go onto Xtreme Xmas and retain our championships. It makes no difference to us what anybody thinks, if they don't think we deserve these championships or not. The fact is... we do and we've proved it every week.

[Triple H]
You're damn right.

Triple H slaps Shawn on the shoulder in a friendly manner and the two of them walk off-screen as the screen fades to black to a commercial break.

We return from commercial break and head backstage to the locker room area where Tony Dawson is seen standing by with microphone in hand.



[Tony Dawson]
Ladies and Gentlemen, by guest at this time, John Cena!

Tony looks to his left as Cena makes his way into view of the camera.



[Tony Dawson]
So John, I just wanted to know what's next? You are fresh off a win against an opponent some say you couldn't beat and you are also fresh off a win against one of the biggest stars to ever step foot into a wrestling ring. What's next?



[John Cena]
What's next? I really couldn't tell you considering I don't know myself. I did what I would always do, I defied the odds and I beat the man known as Goldberg. You saw it, they saw it, everyone witnessed it happen. Now given the normal situation where the person would probably be moaning about how they were screwed and want a rematch. Bill hasn't done that, and I'm not sure if he will. I think he is taking the loss like someone should take the loss, he isn't going to cry about it or take his anger out on other workers, he is just going to accept it. If he ever wants that rematch, I'll be here to give it to him but for the time being, I have to figure out what exactly is next.



[John Cena]
So now, I just have to find something to do. Keep an eye out and when the time comes for an opportunity to arise, I'll be sure to be there if given the chance. I couldn't tell you what it may be or who it may be against but where is the fun in spoiling something? I beat The Undertaker tonight, I'll beat whoever I am set to face next week and I'll just continue to bide my time until something interesting happens. May it just be another match like Goldberg or maybe a contenders match could appear in the somewhat near future for me, who knows.

Cena shrugs his shoulders as he leaves the view of the camera and we then fade to the next segment.

After a very fast-paced match, Adrian Neville defeats AJ Styles via Red Arrow.

Breakdown cuts to the backstage area where XWL Interviewer Renee Young is shown.  She has a mic in hand and is stood alongside the Divas Champion AJ Lee, who appears to be cheerful enough, happily rocking her title back and forth like a baby in her arms.  Layla is nowhere to be found despite the handcuff clearly in place joining AJ's other jewelry on her wrist.

[Renee Young]
AJ... where's Layla?

AJ answers innocently with a grin on her face.  Her precious title is now proudly taking pride of place over her shoulder.

[AJ Lee]
How should I know?

[Renee Young]
She was handcuffed to you last night after your match as per the stipulation... wait is she behind that door?

A few bangs and screams can be heard coming from a room behind AJ.  It seems as though she has locked Layla in the room, despite the two still being handcuffed.  AJ hides her cuffed hand behind her back to hide the evidence.

[AJ Lee]
No... don't be silly!  I'm sure Layla's around here somewhere.  Maybe she's in the doctor's office after what I did to her in our match.  Anyway, this time is about me, not Layla.  I'm the Divas Champion after all.  Layla's not important.  So get to it Renee.  Start doing your job and interview me.

Renee complies despite the noise coming from the locked door.  She raises her voice slightly to talk over it.

[Renee Young]
Okay... so AJ.  Last night you were successful in defending your title after picking up what many are calling the biggest win of your career.  However, Stephanie McMahon handcuffed you to Layla as per the stipulation from-

AJ cuts in snappily.

[AJ Lee]
No Renee!  That didn't happen.  Do you see Layla around here?  Just like I said... I'm not being handcuffed to anybody!

[Renee Young]
But she's behind that door, I can hear her...

AJ is clearly getting annoyed by the focus on her former challenger.

[AJ Lee]
Renee!  I told you already!  She's not here!  Now stop wasting my time!

[Renee Young]
Um... okay... Tonight you face another big match-up as you once again go one-on-one against Madison Eagles this time defending the Divas Championship rather than challenging for it.  Your thoughts?

AJ's eyes blaze with intent.  She brushes her hair back behind her ear while saying something ever so quietly to herself which isn't picked up before responding to the question.

[AJ Lee]
Madison Eagles made a big mistake last night when she attacked me from behind.  She thinks she made a statement last night but all she's done is jumped to the front of the queue to get taken out.  She claims to be this ultra-talented woman who has earned her stripes on the independent scene, but when it comes right down to it she's just the same as every other woman on the roster.  She's cheap, she's expendable and she's more than happy to settle for-

Suddenly the door behind AJ bursts open with a clatter and Layla falls out onto the floor.  Renee and AJ are both startled and step backwards as Layla regains her footing.  She charges at AJ, grabs her by the hair with force and throws her into the room before slamming the door shut.  Imprisoning her and reversing their roles.

[Renee Young]
Oh... um... hi Layla?


[Layla]
Hi Renee!

Sounds almost mirroring those out of a horror movie echo behind the door as AJ pounds on it furiously.

[Renee Young]
Um, so how are things going...

[Layla]
Oh they're great, we're getting along just fine.


[Renee Young]
It sure seems like it...

"LET ME OUT!" AJ piercingly screams from behind the door, which make Renee lose her focus for a moment, while Layla just stands there innocently smiling.


[Renee Young]
So you came up a little short this past Sunday, how are you doing?


[Layla]
You know we all have our off days, I've beaten AJ before so it's not like I can't...it's just, she finally got one over on me so good for her.


[Renee Young]
What's it like to fail to capture The Divas Championship, and then be handcuffed to the woman who beat you for who knows how long?

[Layla]
I'm just making the best of it, that's all you really can do, it's like a constant reminder that I didn't get the job done...and not just because AJ won't stop reminding me like the wonderful totally not annoying person that she is...but hey, you win some, you lose some, and sometimes that also ends with you being cuffed to XWL's very own insane asylum escapee.

"I'M NOT CRAZY!!" the banging and tantrum like background noises continue, Renee once again unsure what to do in a situation like this, while Layla acts like she doesn't hear anything. AJ's demands to be let out continue to fall on somewhat deaf ears, Layla giving AJ a little taste of her own medicine for doing the same to her just minutes ago.


[Layla]
It's so quiet out here, really makes it easy to relax, usually there's someone screaming about something, or random banging and clanging...but there's not a single sound coming from anywhere...

"The thuds on the door behind Layla get even louder, like someone was ramming at it full force, but since that someone is AJ that explains why the door isn't just flying open.


[Renee Young]
Right...not a single sound...from anywhere, especially not the door behind you.


[Layla]
So how about that Madison Eagles, big return match tonight, I wonder what'll happen.


[Renee Young]
AJ Lee seems quite sure that she'll be the one leaving tonight with the title.


[Layla]
But she's wrong...because WE'LL be leaving with the title, duh! Handcuffed, remember?

Layla holds up her wrist showing the cuff, meanwhile AJ's attempt at ramming the door down still continues, ending with a scream that either says she's in pain from hitting a door at full force, or she's angry...or both, or just AJ. Renee looks Layla in the eyes, perhaps saying I think she's learned her lesson with a concerned gaze. Which makes Layla nod then place her hand on the handle of the door, but she doesn't open it yet, she listens in...waiting for the sound of charging foot steps, then flings the door wide open and a flying AJ hits the floor in front of them with a thud as Layla tries to contain her laughter.



[Layla]
There you are! We've been looking all over for you, haven't we Renee?



[Renee Young]
Oh yeah, we've searched long and hard...

A fuming AJ remains on her hands and knee, breathing heavily, steaming mad.


[Layla]
What on Earth were you doing in there, silly?

AJ's face is filled with rage as she replies.

[AJ Lee]
Why did you?  What-  Urghhh!

AJ throws a tantrum as she rises to her feet.  She dusts herself off before putting her title back where it belongs - over her shoulder.

[AJ Lee]
What is wrong with you Layla?  You can't do that to me!  I'm the Divas Champion!

[Layla]
I have no idea what you're talking about...you should be thanking me...I mean seriously, rude much?

The look of disbelief on AJ's face could not be any more apparent, she tries to respond, starting with sounds of "Wha...yu..." but nothing to completion comes out.


[Layla]
If I hadn't let you out who knows how long you'd have been stuck in there.

[AJ Lee]
You put me in there!  I told you Layla.  For the three of us to co-exist, you need to start showing me some respect... then you go and do this!


[Layla]
The thre-

Layla looks at The Divas Championship resting on AJ's shoulders, then at AJ, and sighs.

[Layla]
Well if you want the "three of us" to get along, maybe you shouldn't have slammed the door in my face and locked me in that room in the first place. Lead by example, champ.

[AJ Lee]
It's my interview time not yours!  Why would anyone want to interview a loser?  Right Renee?

[Renee Young]
Well...

[Layla]
Oh you're right, they'd much rather interview someone they can't even say the word CRAZY around.

AJ flips out at this.

[AJ Lee]
DON'T CALL ME THAT!

AJ swings for Layla with a slap but Layla catches her hand and twists it, neutralizing the threat.


[Layla]
Point proven.

She lets go of AJ, who holds her wrist as she returns an intense scowl Layla's way.

[Renee Young]
She does...have a point...

Renee quickly shields her face, bracing for what Layla managed to stop coming her way, but could now be redirected in her direction for agreeing.

[AJ Lee]
What did you say Renee?

[Renee Young]
I said... she has a point...

AJ steps towards Renee in an aggressive manner.

[AJ Lee]
And... what is... that point?

Quickly getting in between AJ and Renee, Layla chimes in.

[Layla]
The point is that it's CRAZY nobody can say CRAZY around you without you jumping to some CRAZY conclusion that they're calling you CRAZY!

AJ snarls and lunges at Layla but suddenly a figure leaps in to protect her... it's Bayley! Bayley hugs Layla lovingly as AJ looks on in disgust.  Layla appears to be enjoying it and hugs Bayley back.

[AJ Lee]
Bayley!  What are you doing?

Bayley releases her loving embrace on the Brit.

[Bayley]
Don't be jealous AJ.  I save my special hugs for you!

Bayley grasps AJ in the tightest hug possible, subduing her completely.

[AJ Lee]
Layla... Renee... please... help me...

Renee walks away from the awkward situation just as she did last week as Layla looks on in obvious amusement.  Bayley maintains her vise like grip on the Divas Champion as the segment fades to black for a commercial break...

We return from a commercial break and instantly a replay from the November to Remember event begins to play on the titantron.  It starts off with Kaitlyn locking in the Lotus Lock on Maria, causing her to tap out. But her celebration was cut short as she was attacked from behind by Summer Rae. The question remains: Why did she attack Kaitlyn? Kaitlyn, along with the entire XWL Universe, had wondered that question themselves. Never had they had an interaction in this company, never had they had a match before, so what was Summer's reasoning for this attack? The replay comes to an end with Summer Rae standing above Kaitlyn before once again fading to a black screen. A couple of seconds pass before we fade to a new scene where none other than Kaitlyn is walking backstage. From the way she is looking around the area she is in, she is looking around for the diva who attacked her. She passes by a  set of crates without looking by them and without noticing, a certain someone is resting on them and watching as she walks by. It isn't Summer Rae, but it is someone who has worked closely with her these past couple of months, Fandango! Kaitlyn takes another step before Fandango catches her attention.



[Fandango]
I thought you would be... taller.

Kaitlyn turns around and notices Fandango there and instantly makes her way over to where he is. From the look on her face, you can tell she is not in the mood to play that many games at the moment.

[Kaitlyn]
Hiding behind crates, creeping on people as they go by.

Kaitlyn pauses, looking around the area she is in with Fandango before speaking once again.

[Kaitlyn]
Could’ve sworn you ditched the weird stuff when you bought those glittery pants.

[Fandango]
Weird? Nobody’s ever called me that before.

[Kaitlyn]
Weird, I could’ve sworn you had a pretty odd past. Maybe you have a twin brother name Johnny?

[Fandango]
I don’t know anybody named Johnny... Or Curtis... before you ask. People always call me that too.

[Kaitlyn]
Well, whatever. Can we just cut to the chase and skip these stupid games?

Kaitlyn’s tone changes to a more serious tone as Fandango doesn’t seem to change his tone, the look on his face or anything at all as Kaitlyn expects a response. She doesn’t get one as a couple seconds pass and she goes to speak yet again.

[Kaitlyn]
I know that you know where Summer is, so just spill the beans.

[Fandango]
Summer is over, Kaitlyn... it’s almost winter now.

[Kaitlyn]
Okay, that is my fault for not making myself clear enough. Where is Summer Rae, you know that little blonde chick that dances around with you every week?

[Fandango]
She’s a person, Kaitlyn.

[Kaitlyn]
And you’re a doofus.



[Fandango]
Actually... I’m only ten percent body... fat. Thoughts?

[Kaitlyn]
My god, I feel like I’m losing brain cells every time you speak. Can we just cut to the chase?

[Fandango]
Can you just cut to the chase?

[Kaitlyn]
I’ve already cut to the chase, it’s your turn to cut to the chase and just tell me where Summer is!

[Fandango]
You’re just embarrassing yourself now… it’s autumn.

[Kaitlyn]
Okay, I know that. So where is your dancer at? I was maybe looking to learn some moves from her because it’d be awkward learning them from you.

[Fandango]
Whoa… I was hand chosen by the Gods themselves… to teach them how to dance.

[Kaitlyn]
And you’ve passed them onto your dancer who could pass them skills onto me, right?

[Fandango]
Summer’s good… at dancing… but I don’t even think she could teach someone of your… caliber.

[Kaitlyn]
What is that supposed to mean? I think I'd be a pretty good dancer!

[Fandango]
You’re a bit of a… tenderfoot. Speaking of tender feet...

[Kaitlyn]
Oh whatever, if you aren’t going to help then I’ll have to find Summer on my own. Maybe I should put that into dance so you could understand it or are we on the same page?

[Fandango]
We’re not on any pages.

[Kaitlyn]
Of course not, and it’s not like we’re on the internet either. But you get what I mean.



[Fandango]
I wouldn’t be so sure of that…

[Kaitlyn]
Internet or not, can you just tell me where Summer Rae, your dancer, the diva who attacked me at November to Remember. Can you please just tell me where she is hiding?

[Fandango]
Okay… I’ll do it… but… I’m going to need something in… return.

[Kaitlyn]
Oh, well this should be interesting. What exactly could  you want?

[Fandango]
I want… you…

Fandango smirks and leans in closer to Kaitlyn, causing her to cringe a little.



[Fandango]
... To stop asking me where Summer Rae is.

[Kaitlyn]
You’re such an ass. And to think, I thought you were actually going to help.

Kaitlyn has finally had enough of Fandango’s antics and storms off of the scene, furious. Fandango watches her leave with his eyebrows raised, and after a few moments Summer Rae steps onto the scene with a giant smirk on her face.

[Summer Rae]
Phew! Good job getting her off our backs, baby.

[Fandango]
Oh… hey, Angel Face… I didn’t see you.

[Summer Rae]
What?... Then what were you talking to her for?

[Fandango]
Other… reasons…

[Summer Rae]
Alright, whatever.

[Fandango]
She’s a little… weird. Anyway… how’s that plan of yours coming along?

[Summer Rae]
Oh, it’s going flawless, baby.

[Fandango]
Alright, let’s out of here. We have… reservations.

Fandango begins to dance down the hallway as Summer follows behind him with the smirk appearing on her face. Breakdown fades to a commercial break as the duo make their way off camera. What is the plan that Fandango and Summer Rae were referring to? What does Summer Rae have in mind for Kaitlyn?

The bell sounds as Layla's theme kicks off the return of Breakdown, the lights flicker in the arena, transitioning between hues of pink and purple, all lighting up the stage as the cameras scan along it.



It's not long before Layla can be seen stepping out from the back, but of course she isn't alone, cuffed to her, and being pulled behind her is none other than The Divas Champion AJ Lee. She's got her title around her shoulder and she might not be the least bit happy that she's bound to her former number one contender, but you can tell he's especially enjoying the fact that she gets to rub it in the face of Layla that she's still the champion, the title is on her shoulder, not Layla's.

[Lillian Garcia]
The following contest is scheduled for one fall, introducing first, accompanied by The Divas Champion AJ Lee, from Miami Florida...Layla!

The fans cheer but as Layla tries to do her usual pose and turn at the top of the ramp, AJ makes sure to put a stop to that by skipping forward, taking Layla along with her whether she likes it or not.

[JR]
Looks like they're not getting along too well on their first night handcuffed together.

[Michael Cole]
Why? Because AJ's leading? She is the champion after all, this might be Layla's match but AJ's clearly the star here.

[King]
She might still be champion but everything isn't always about her..especially not matches she's not even apart of.


Layla's tugged forward, she nearly stumbles and falls but stops herself, and tries to keep up the pace but AJ keeps skipping down the ramp, practically dragging Layla behind her like an uncooperative pet. Fans hold out their hands for Layla, she goes to slap one putting on a smile...but before she can AJ noticeably on purpose yanks her cuffed wrist forward making Layla take a nose dive and fall to the ramp in embarrassment.


[Michael Cole]
Well she's on her game, she hasn't even made it to the ring already she's falling all over the place!


[King]
I'm sure she didn't think AJ would actually do that..

[Michael Cole]
Do what? Stand there?


[JR]
I don't wanna take sides but I'm pretty sure I saw AJ pull on the chain there.


[Michael Cole]
Maybe the selfish Layla was hurting her wrist, ever think of that?


[King]
Because she's been the one trying to drag AJ along, not the other way around right?


[Michael Cole]
Maybe if she'd learn to keep up...besides I think AJ's physical well being is a lot more important, we can't have the champion hurting her wrist before her big defense later tonight.


[JR]
Layla also shouldn't be dragged around like a rag doll before her match with Ashley.


As Layla looks up at AJ, all The Divas Champion does is innocent stare down at her, batting her eyes and extending her free hand to help Layla up. Layla's frustration is apparent but perhaps thinking maybe it wasn't intentional...she goes to grab AJ's hand only for AJ to swipe it away and nestle her head against the Divas title that Layla failed to win from her last night. With a sigh Layla gets back up on her own, tries to move forward but a few steps further and she's held back by the dead weight AJ Lee that appears to be whispering at her title. "Come on AJ!" Layla screams out but to no response.


[King]
Layla might not even get to the ring for her match if AJ doesn't quit talking to...I can't believe I'm saying this, but her title.


[Michael Cole]
True champions treat their belts with respect.


[JR]
There's being respectful and then there's crazy.


AJ's focus returns to Layla for a moment, but it quickly changes back as AJ's ear presses up against The Divas Championship and she begins to laugh before pulling away and shouting "Good one!" Annoying Layla a final time before she marches over to AJ, snatching the title out of her grasp and with an instantaneous throw sends the title flying over the ropes into the ring, hitting it with a thud sending AJ into an emotional wreck. "NOOOOOO!!" she screams in a high pitched tone mirroring a tantrum a child might throw before running past Layla, pulling her along and sliding into the ring grabbing her title and holding it against her chest rocking back and forth in an emotional state.


[Michael Cole]
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!


[JR]
You're sure not the only one...


Layla having accomplished her goal, despite being tugged along for the ride, finally is at the ring, slides in beside AJ, and is met by a deathly gaze from the furious champion. "LOOK WHAT YOU DID!" she holds the title out, not a single thing appears to be wrong with it, but to AJ that doesn't seem to be the case as she's almost in tears..which amuses Layla, but also creeps her out to the point that she rolls her eyes and mouths "She's so crazy..." at the camera.

We return from commercial and we see Edge walking backstage. The look on his face shows nothing but anger and annoyance after losing to Ted DiBiase at November to Remember in a match he expected himself to win but sometimes what you expect just doesn't happen. He is stopped mid-walk by Josh Mathews as he approaches him.



[Josh Mathews]
Edge, I was just wondering if I could ask you a few questions regarding the match you had at November to Remember against Ted DiBiase?

Edge doesn't reply at first, he simply looks down at Josh and stares dead into his eyes. A couple of seconds pass, Edge's anger filled expression doesn't change as a single word escapes his mouth.

Edge begins to walk away once again and Josh is left confused as he tries to catch up to Edge. He stops Edge once again and goes to speak but Edge cuts him off as he moves the microphone close to him to speak.



[Edge]
What would you want me to say? What, do you want me to admit that I lost? Fine, I lost. I lost to Ted DiBiase and he proved that my two wins over him was a fluke. I don't know what I'm going to do next, I'm lost for words because I lost to a man I know I can beat. Now get out of my face before the things that should have happened to Ted, happen to you.

Edge pushes through Josh and leaves the view of the camera as we fade to the next segment.

As breakdown continues the cameras are running through the backstage area to where familiar voices are in a heated argument coming from the dressing room where the attention quickly shifts to see if we can get a better close up on the action

Just what the hell do you think you was playing at? Do you even realise what you have done? No, actually, don't even speak, just listen.



Miz
Last night you cost me the most prized possession there is in this whole god damn company. Last night because of YOU I lost the world heavyweight champion. I hired you to help me out when I needed small jobs doing I was too busy to take care of myself. So when I ask you to do something I expect you do it. So why did that change last night? Why did last night did you think it was at all acceptable to think you were above me? I think you're forgetting how this little deal we have works. Now if you need reminding I'm sure this will jog your memory.

The Miz looks down at his clenched fist and without a second warning plants a quick right hand right onto the jaw of Alex Riley who topples over and takes a few seconds to redeem himself and stand back up properly. As the two eyeball each other it's Alex Riley who is first to speak out.

Miz, let me just explain before you do anything stupid.

Stupid! You're telling me that was stupid!? I was just giving you a taster of what's about to happen if you don't hurry up and give me a good valid reason for what you did last night!

I just thought, because, well you know with all this heat about you winning the title first of all cheaply and then the speculation of hiring people to take out Del Rio. It just occurred to me that if you were to lose through disqualification then it would make you look like a weak champion, and obviously in the heat of the moment you wasn't thinking straight and I wasn't about to make you look weak. I mean c'mon, I know you're the best kind of champion there could ever be and you could wipe the floor with the likes of Del Rio so I wanted to let you do that and retain your title in a strong fashion. I mean you obviously just took your eye of the ball and then he...

Miz
Don't. Just stop, tonight, right mow in fact. Me and you are going down to that ring and you're going to apologise for what you did so everybody knows just who's at fault for what happened last night. You wouldn't want me to come across as weak now would you?

The Miz again eyeballs Alex Riley before giving him a quick shove in the chest before turning and leaving the changing room heading for the ring

The Miz's theme blasts out as he bursts from behind the curtain with Alex Riley following shortly behind him following their dispute earlier in the show, both men are looking extremely serious with obviously a few things to get off their chests.



As the Miz continues to make his way down to the ring it is obvious to many that he still isn't well pleased with Alex Riley by the way in which he's walking in front almost guiding his client to the ring.

Well look at what we have here, the ex world heavyweight champion has a few words for us all folks.

You also forgot to mention future world heavyweight champion King. He has his rematch clause in his contract which I'm sure he's going to use come Xtreme Xmas.

Well I'm sure we'll we soon found out what he has on his mind. He didn't hold back earlier in the night in telling Alex Riley exactly how he felt.

And so he should! That man cost the Miz the world heavyweight title last night!

Well whatever differences they had can't be that bad anymore as they've both come down looking like dumb and dumber with their matching shirts on.

Well if the Miz gets the public apology he's been promised then he doesn't have anything to be about,Alex Riley has turned out to be quite the useful client for the Miz.

And by useful you mean somebody who can help him bend the rules in every way shape and form?

And still fail mind you, they both tried every trick on the book last night and that still wasn't enough to put Del Rio down.

I'm not going to beat around the bush, I'm going to openly admit exactly what happened last night, that's the very same reason Alex Riley is out here because as you saw earlier backstage he also has a few things he would like to say. But before that, it seems November to Remember is not my ppv. Two consecutive years now I've lost in the main event where the world championship has been at stake, the only difference is this time I had everything lose not everything to gain. I think that's what makes you hungry, when you know that what's there is only a matter of seconds away from gaining. When you have the prized possession around your waist, you still feel the same burning ambitions to keep it and do all you can don't let that pass you by. But when it's there to lose you'll do everything you can to make sure that doesn't happen, and if that includes taking a risk then that's how it is. And quite frankly I took a risk last night. That risk is stood right next to me and is former XWL superstar Alex Riley!

The Miz turns to Alex Riley and gets in his face before continuing.

That's right, YOU, cost me my title last night. YOU are the reason I don't have what I've worked my ass off for years to finally achieve around my waist anymore! Now you're lucky that earlier I didn't do more than what I did, you got lucky. That's why I've brought you out here tonight so you can tell these people and everybody back home the truth, publicly and on live television! Now don't be shy, go ahead here.

The Miz shoves the mic into Alex Riley's chest with a look of disguise while Riley's expression tells a whole different story as if he's being forced to say what's about to leave his lips.

Mike, sorry, Miz. You know that I'm deeply sorry for my actions last night. And that I .....
That I take full responsibility in you losing your title and that if it wasn't for me you would still of been champion. I was foolish to question you and you're ability and that showed, I can't say much more but I can promise that I will aid you in regaining that championship gold. No matter what it is I'm willing to do it, I just wanted to make that publicly clear for everyone out here that might not of saw how last nights main event ended. But that does lead me on to tonight's main event. How do you expect the Miz, the future world heavyweight champion to team up with the very same person who stole that title from him! It should be me at his side showing you all what a great team looks like, he shouldn't be made to team up with somebody when he could win this match on his own!

Riley and Miz exchange a look of agreement as he passes the mic back over. Just as the Miz raises the mic to his lips whatever he intended to say is soon put on hold as the sound of the newly crowded world heavyweight champions theme blasts throughout the arena.





The fans erupt and are elated to see the new champion march onto the stage but he not only has his newly reacquired World Heavyweight Championship with him, but a somewhat large Mexican flag as well! He waves it around a few times before setting it down and turning towards The Miz.

Miz, this is sad.....you cower and tuck your tail during our big match and try to cheat your way to keeping this championship then, when it fails, you turn and point the finger to Alex right there. If anything you should thank Alex, because if you had succeeded with your little "plan" during our match, I would make every living moment of your time as champion hell. You would not sleep, eat, or pray without think about me being near first and that's not all because you would have been ridiculed by these fans and your peer's alike for doing that kind of trick twice! I told you what needed to be done to beat me at November to Remember and you started off well and up until those final moments, although with a few questionable instances sprinkled around, you grew a pair of CAJONES! You fought like a real man, and you beat my ass almost as hard as anyone has! Miz, you showed me that you're not all tricks, deceit, and luck but that you can beat me just as well as I can beat you. Now, I wouldn't have lost that match regardless of Riley's interference but for the sake of integrity.....thank you Alex.


Alex doesn't enjoy the sincere thank you, knowing he made a mistake when refusing to hand over the belt.

These people were robbed of a honorable and respectful World Heavyweight Champion when you cheated for this belt but now that it's been corrected, I have a proposition for you Miz. You have found ways to lie and deceit your way to what you were doing, whether it was the low blow/foot on the ropes or your assassins but I understand your desperation, I've felt it numerous times in all the times I've combated for this title, each time failing worse than the last. So how about I give us what we both want? I know we get one last match, whoever wins in the champion and I nor you get another shot until we grind our way to it again. So I'm challenging you, at X-Treme X-Mas, Miz vs Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship.....in a Cage match!


The fans pop at the notion of such a match but Alberto hold his hand up to tell them to wait and listen more.

This cage match will have certain restriction which I think will be fitting, since it's our last encounter we want a definitive winner, no flukes and no luck. So the only way to win this match will be via pin-fall or submission! No escaping through the top or through the door, we must truly defeat one another but just like usual there will be no disqualifications, meaning you have free reign to do what you see fit to win this belt back, but this time around....the same goes for me. The cage is there to act as an arena inside the bigger venue, a gladiatorial arena to be specific. Us two men will walk in alone and battle, we will do whatever we have and whatever it takes to win until, based on our own merit....our own strength and skill, one of us stands as champion!


Del Rio raises the title over his head as the fans pick up their cheering as Alberto turns the floor to respond over to Miz whose stood in the ring listening this whole time.

Really Alberto? I mean you can't be serious right now? Not only have you just matched your previous title reign of 24 hours and already looked to put it at risk with the stupidity of challenging me to a cage match? You see let me tell why this is a mistake, not only are you stood talking to one of the most dangerous superstars in this company but I'm a superstar who bends the rules and plays by his own rules. Inside I steal cage I'm right at home, I can do whatever I like and I don't even have to try and hide it. The real question is do you want to lose your title to me a second time. Well if the answer is yes then I'm guessing this Xtreme Xmas it's going to be Alberto Del Rio one on one with the Miz inside a steal cage!

The fans erupt at the sound of the match and immediately begin loud "SI" chants as Del Rio raises and points to his title before slowly walking back through the curtain as the Miz and the world champ stare each other down from the opposite sides of the arena.

*As Breakdown returns from a short advertisement for XWL's next Pay-Per-View, X-treme X-mas, it quickly heads backstage as a very bitter Paige, who is still steaming from her loss to her Foxy Rival in Alicia Fox just twenty four hours ago at November to Remember, storms down the many corridors in the backstage area, passing room after room and hallway after hallway. After making various twists and turns down the seemingly endless corridors, she quickly comes to a stop in front of a door reading “Stephanie McMahon” etched on it. She stares at the door for a moment before turning the handle and swinging it open, walking through said door with purpose, revealing Stephanie sitting behind her desk, but she's not alone. Across the table from her is a returning diva, Aksana, look towards the door, annoyed that her meeting has been interrupted. This doesn't seem to concern Paige in the slightest and makes her way towards her desk, not wasting a moment to air her grievances.*

{Paige}
Did you see what happened last night at the Pay-Per-View?

{Stephanie McMahon}
Excuse me, Aksana, there appears to be someone knocking at the door. Please, come in. It seems that you weren't taught manners back in England, Paige, and yes, I saw what happened. You lost, simple as that.

{Paige}
Simple as that? I don't care that I lost, but what I do care about is how it happened. She tried to finish what AJ Lee failed to do and that's break my arm. Those ring steps didn't exactly help the healing process but this thing between myself and Fox, it's far from over. So I'm here to ask, no, demand a rematch against her. I don't care where and I don't care when, just make it happen.

Let me get this straight, Paige, and correct me if I'm wrong, but are you telling me what to do?

After her victory over you at last nights Pay-Per-View, I figured I'd let her take a little break for the time being, and seeing as how you're out for blood, it appears I made the right choice.

She gets a fluke victory via count out over me and that constitutes giving her a vacation? In case you weren't aware, she had just returned from a “vacation,” had two matches against me and now she's gone again. I don't care what you have to do, just make a rematch between us or I may have to go find her in whatever hole she's hiding in and drag her back to that ring.

{ Aksana }
Seriously? I don't mean to sound rude, well, come to think of it I do. But you're acting a bit, how you say, "pathetic." Coming into Stephanie's office during my scheduled meeting and start barking out orders like some kind of dog, who do you think you are Paige? Nobody cares about what you have to say about Alicia Fox anymore. Is old news, Paige. You remind of broken record.

{Paige}
A broken record? It couldn't be anymore broken than your English. That aside, who do you think you are, calling me pathetic? Don't you know who I am and what I'm capable of? I'm called the Anti-Diva for a reason. And you're right, Alicia Fox is old news but I'm still not done with her, no matter how much she wants this thing between us to end, it's just getting started. You can do one of two things, you can either sit down and keep your mouth shut or you can leave this room before I take out my frustrations on you. The choice is yours.

You think I'm scared of a British brat with a temper problem? Let us make something clear here, Paige. You cannot just get mad and throw your little tantrum like some kind child, and expect to get what you want. This is a woman's business, the sooner you learn that, the better. *Without warning, Paige lunges forward and wraps her hand around Aksana's neck, pinning her against the wall behind her. Paige locks eyes with the returning diva as her grip slowly gets tighter and tighter with each passing second. As Aksana begins to gasp for breath, Paige's gaze is filled with hate, something that was only believed to appear when she locked eyes with Fox.*

*Stephanie's voice breaks Paige out of her trance like state, causing her to turn to Stephanie, loosening her grip on Aksana, giving the diva from Lithuania the opening she needed to land a hard slap across the face of the Anti-Diva, causing an ear piercing echo to reverberate across the room. Paige takes a step back, her face tilted to the side, a faint imprint of Aksana's hand being visible on Paige's cheek, and slowly turns back towards the woman to is responsible for it. Aksana gulps when she sees the hatred in Paige's eyes, quickly regretting the slap, and tries to make a break for the door but is quickly stopped when Paige gets a handful of her hair and begins to repeatedly slam it against Stephanie's desk, causing the trinkets and various papers and folders to begin flying around the room. Just when it seemed that Stephanie had lost control of the situation, a few security guards storm into the room, pulling Paige away from Aksana, while one holds Aksana away from Paige. The release the Anti-Diva after a few feet, along with the security guards, standing between them. Paige is shown breathing heavily as Aksana tries to regain her composure as Stephanie simply shakes her head in disappointment.*

Just who the hell do you think you are, Paige? You come into my office and stir up trouble, if you think I'm just going to let that happen without consequences, then you're sorely mistaken. You want a fight, Paige? Well, you're going to get one, but it's not going to be against Alicia Fox, no, next week, live on Breakdown, it's going to be you, Paige, and your opponent is going to be Aksana. Now get out of my office before you make me question why you're still employed.

*Paige turns around and makes her way out of Stephanie's office, anger radiating off of her after that brief exchange with Aksana, who is trying to make it up to her feet, with the help of a security guard. Breakdown fades into a commercial break as Aksana begins to make her way out of the office and Stephanie is shown motioning to the lone security guard to pick up the folders scattered across the office floor.*

As Breakdown continues Renee Young is stood by backstage in the interviewing area



Renee Young: Ladies and Gentlemen we have been witnessing the fallout from November to Remember all week on Breakdown, new champions were crowned, and as we heard from them earlier D-Generation X are holding both Intercontinental and United States championships. And one man may have something to say something about that, my guest at this time Antonio Cesaro.

As Renee introduces him, Antonio Cesaro walks in standing next to Renee and the crowd start to boo, as she continues speaking

Renee Young: Antonio, last week you lost your United States championship to Triple H is a hard fought contest, but...

Before she can finish her question Antonio cuts her off going into a rant on what happened last week in his United States championship defence against Triple H



But what? But it wasn't good enough? No I should be standing here right now STILL your United States champion, and if Triple H wants to run around with Shawn Michaels playing champion then so be it, but at X-Treme X-Mas that will come to a very unfortunate end for Triple H. You see Renee, whilst Triple H did beat me last week, by no means does that mean he is better than me. I am Antonio Cesaro, and that means I can whatever I want, to whoever I want to do it to, whether that is Triple H or anybody else for that matter, and there is not a thing that anybody can do about it, and that Renee is why in just over two weeks time I will once again be your United States champion. And as for the other half of DX goes, I think we all know that we have unfinished business there, so once I am done with Triple H and I take my title back and once again represent every single American, as proudly as I can, the Heartbreak Kid will be the next to go. Triple H and Shawn can crack all of the jokes they want to, but when it's done.

No, instead I am going to go out there and show everybody just what I think of last night and do whatever it is that I do and once again show everybody that I am superior every single person here tonight, and that is exactly why I am the role model that America really needs.

Renee Young: And that leads us to tonight where you face a man who is American through and through, that being The All-American American Jack Swagger.

As Renee poses the question Cesaro chuckles to himself clearly finding something humorous about either his opponent or the question asked



Jack Swagger? How could I forget, Jack Swagger? That man is nothing but a fraud, he nor Zeb Coutler are real Americans. They are fakes, posers, they are everything that is wrong with this country and what they stand is just empathises my point exactly. I, on the other hand am as American as Apple Pie, where as they are an American as drinking Moonshine straight from the jug caressing their shotguns on their porch. They need to wake up and realise that they are in a new America, a better America, an America lead by Antonio Cesaro, and tonight Jack Swagger gets to step into the ring against me, the very, VERY European, but Uber American, Antonio Cesaro. And that means he's going to be taught a lesson from a real American hero, and that is me.

AJ LEE RETAINS THE DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP!



As AJ's hand is raised in victory, she's showered with the usual array of boos and jeers.  She stands over the beaten Eagles and laughs at her handiwork screaming "That's why I'm Divas Champion!" while clutching her title close to her body.

[Jim Ross]
AJ has done it!  Once again the unorthodox champion walks out victorious over stiff competition.  Eagles is certainly no pushover and is as good as they come.

[Michael Cole]
That's now two huge title defenses for AJ in a row.  She's quickly establishing herself as a fighting champion and with her unpredictability and skill set I think her title reign last for a very long time.

AJ notices the match official reaching for the cuffs and tries to make a quick escape.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
She's making a run for it!

AJ scarpers up the ramp, faster than she's ever moved before.  She's pursued by both Layla and the match official who are determined to make the Divas Champion abide to the handcuffing.  Just as it looks as though AJ is about to make a clean getaway, leaving both Layla and the referee in her wake... BAYLEY APPEARS!

[Michael Cole]
No!  Bayley, get out of here!  Get out of her way!

Bayley seems ecstatic after witnessing her idol retain her title.  She bounces towards AJ who is now stuck in the middle of an impossible situation with a negative outcome either side of her.  As the reality of it sinks in, AJ freezes in her tracks and screams out "NOOOOO" like a banshee before stamping her feet in a tantrum.

[Jim Ross]
It looks like AJ is stuck between a rock and a hard place.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
How can you not like Bayley?!  I can't believe AJ doesn't like hugs!

[Jim Ross]
Can you really imagine the demented AJ enjoying hugs?  I sure as hell can't.

AJ gives up, realizing she has nowhere else to run as Bayley, Layla and the official close in on her.  The official quickly slaps on the cuffs, reuniting the clearly angered AJ with her arch-nemesis.  Once the cuffs are back on, Bayley latches herself onto all three of them - AJ, Layla and the ref - in one giant hug, bringing them all together.

Awww... what a touching moment.

Maybe so King, but one of these days, Bayley is going to regret being so nice to the Divas Champion.  If looks could kill... well, I dread to think what's going to happen to Bayley someday.

AJ has a look on her face unlike any expression she's had before.  It's a look so filled with hatred and disgust that it's hard to describe.  The hug continues with AJ completely squashed in the middle as Breakdown fades away to a commercial break.

*As we return to Breakdown we see Big E Langston and Jack Swagger having a conversation backstage.*

Big E:
I don't know what you are talking about man. There is no way Oklahoma is better than Iowa. Sure you had a better record in Football but in your sport Wrestling who was better? Now I know your going to say it was because you weren't there or we had a bad year and we had a new coach and yadda yadda yadda.



Jack Swagger:
I would suggest rethinking your comment about our Collegiate Wrestling record, Mr. Langston. I have just received word that the Oklahoma Sooners are currently sitting in first place at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Collegiate Invitational. Are the Hawkeyes in first place currently, Sir Langston? I don't think I'm hearing a response from you. You see, the Oklahoma Sooners are the be all, end all, when it comes to any sport: Collegiate Wrestling, Football, Basketball, Hockey, you name it........We're guarant-damn-teed to be better than anyone else in the country in it.

Big E:

Now Jack, cmon Jack you and I both know that that's not true. No matter how comical or confusing your logic may be I'd be willing to bet any one of the My Little Ponies that I have in my collection that yo..... Yes I have a My Little Pony collection. No it is not my little sisters idea. Look man don't judge me if I wanna collect My Little Ponies I will collect them ok. Anyways there is no way that you could beat me in anything we could do. Wait? What did you just say???

*Swagger shrugs, confused by Big E's threatening question.*

Jack Swagger:

Big E:
Oh really? I thought I just heard you say "Mr. Langston, are you a ten year old girl?" You really think I'm going to stand for that, Mr. America? You know, it's funny, actually it's hilarious! America is supposed to be a place where we embrace variety, DIVERSITY, and I have this guy standing right in front of me calling me out on the prestigious My Little Pony collection of Big E Langston???? Do you know who I am?!

*Langston takes a step closer to Swagger, looking as if he is about to rip The All American apart. Swagger does a cheesy smile and replies with a snarky remark.*



Jack Swagger:
Someone who is hard of hearing, apparently.

*Big E is taken aback with a look of shock on his face. He turns around and puts his hand on his chest, breathing deeply......As if he's about to burst into tears. However, he takes a big breath, closes his eyes, and turns toward Swagger, who at this point has absolutely no idea what is going on, judging by the look on his face.

Big E:
So be it, Mr...........ahem, "Thwagger".

Swagger realizes what Big E is referencing and puts his hands on his face, ashamed and embarrassed of what's to come.

Jack Swagger:
.....Please don't do this.

Big E:
Oh, what is this? A man who has fallen victim to his own dirty deeds? Surely it must hurt, or actually, "It musth hurth, acthually".

*Langston laughs as Swagger uncovers his face, looking completely irritated.

Jack Swagger:
All right, it's getting a little old right now, just stop bef-

Big E:
Look at me, my nameth's Jack Thwagger! Lookths like you forgot about thomeo-

*Swagger quickly cuts off Langston before he continues with a loud roar.*

Jack Swagger:
I DEMAND YOU STOP! This is completely out of line and immature! What the hell is it that you want?

*Big E strokes his beard, thinking of what he wants to say. He replies as though he has some sort of a master plan in motion.*

Big E:
A competition......On next week's Breakdown.

Jack Swagger:
You want a match? Fine, you've got it! What stipulations are we talking about, No DQ, Steel Cage, 2 Out of 3 Falls.....

Big E:
The match that will decide who truly is the strongest.........An Arm Wrestling match!

*Swagger has another dumbfound look on his face as he turns around to see if anyone else heard, but to no avail: He comes to a realization that there's nobody else around.

Jack Swagger:

We return to later that night where Antonio Cesaro is having the upper hand in his match against Swagger! It's already about 15 minutes into the contest, and both men are exhausted. Antonio quickly lays out Swagger with a European Uppercut, and goes for a cover.

Thr-No! Swagger gets the shoulder up, which inspires the crowd to start cheering. Antonio gets cocky and does his arm cannon taunt toward the crowd, getting booed in the process. Cesaro approaches the downed Swagger, jumps, and attempts to stomp on Swagger's torso with both feet. However, Swagger rolls out of the way behind Cesaro. The Swiss Superman is momentarily confused before he turns around, gets kicked in the gut, lifted up into the air and slammed down to the mat with authority!

Jim Ross:
Oh my, what an explosive Gutwrench Powerbomb from the self-proclaimed "Defender of the People"!

Jerry Lawler:
Hah! Good night Cesaro!

Michael Cole:
This isn't even fair! That man, Swagger, clearly cheated right there!

*Swagger quickly hooks the leg of Cesaro, looking for the victory......

After a back and forth match Daniels is able to hit the BME!! He goes for the pin..1…2.. Kick out!.. Daniels goes for the pin again..1…2.. Kick out!! Daniels slaps the mat in frustration before picking Axel up only to be kicked in the gut by the Perfect Prodigy!! Axel hits the Perfect-Plex!!! But instead of going for the pin Axel begins to dance like Daniels, mocking "The Ring General". Heyman is shouting on the outside at Axel, telling him to stop showing off and finish Daniels off. Axel walks back over to his opponent and picks him up, looking to finish him off with the Hangman's Facebuster!! But Daniels, who was able to gain his bearings while Axel was taunting, kicks Axel in the gut before hitting the Angel's Wings!!! He goes for the pin as Heyman throws his arms up in frustration…1….2…3…!!!!



Daniels begins to celebrate as Heyman drags Axel out of the ring and helps him up the ramp with a look of disappointment. We then go to a commercial break.[/i]
