Breakdown returns to an arena of complete darkness. But out of nowhere that darkness is broken....





The fans pop loud as Jeff and Matt shoot through the curtains and sprint down the ramp, slapping hands with every fan who can reach them.


{Jim Ross}
This match was made last week when Jeff officially re-signed with XWL after having to save his brother Matt from the 3 on 1 assault that is The Wyatt's.

{Jerry Lawler}
Jeff, right after signing the contract, then demanded this match and it was promptly granted by Stephanie McMahon!


They both dive into the ring and start playing to the crowd, which draws even more cheers our of them. The Hardy Boys continue this but it's all cut short when the lights suddenly cut out completely once again, that is until....








{Bray Wyatt}
Hello, Hardy's. As you so obviously know I am Bray Wyatt and these are my brothers Rowan and Harper. We may not be blood like you two but our bond is pure, untainted, and incorruptible. That, however, cannot be said for your bond.....both of your lives are founded on a series of lies, vices, and envious deeds, and that is why no matter how long you drag this out....you will lose. You are the bane of the coming new world and as this world's shepard towards destruction and these people's shepard towards salvation I must make sure that an example is set for your reprehensible behavior!





{Bray Wyatt}
You men are pillars of wrong that hold this old, outdated, disgusting world up and I and my brothers and sheep are the one's here to cause it all to come tumbling down.....down......down......AND THERE IS NOTHING, that either of you can do about it. My plans have been in motion long before I took this stage and opened the eyes of the blind, cleared the fog concocted by this world's leaders so nothing can stop the avalanche that has built up, the momentum of the wrecking ball that is WYATT! Not even myself or my army.





{Bray Wyatt}
The world is darkest before the dawn and those who follow me will be lead through hell to reach a heaven, a world formed with right and purity in mind. A world with no lies from leaders and where the only thing you are judged on is what you contribute to the coming world's serenity. Jeff, Matt tonight you fight not men, not flesh and blood but an idea, hope of a better world. So the best I can do is pity you and wish you good luck, and apologize in advance...


Bray Wyatt lifts the lantern next to his head as the light's in the room he sits begins to dim.


We're Here.....








The fans boo as The Wyatt's emerge from behind the curtains, illuminating the darkness that has engulfed the arena.





The Wyatt's assume their usual postions. Rowan and Harper on either side of Bray, who steps in front of the rock chair before taking his seat. He rocks back and forth for a moment then stops and lifts the lantern to his face....





Tag Team Match



Several Minutes Later....


The Wyatt's are on the floor and both the Hardy's stand in the ring, they look to each other and smile. Both Jeff and Matt sprint towards the ropes away from The Wyatt's as they sprint back towards the side with their adversaries they leap over the top! They crash onto The Wyatt's as the fans erupt for the brothers high flying move! Matt and Jeff spring to their feet as Bray stays seated in his chair looking onto the carnage.





Jeff locks stares with Bray and tells him to bring it but Bray only smiles and starts chuckling maniacally. Jeff turns back to Harper and tosses him into the ring and attempts a cover but his opponent kicks out at 2.


Each man's respective partners make their way back to the corners as Jeff connects with a couple quick boots to the downed Harper. Jeff lifts him up and tucks his head, he yells to the fans and looks like he's trying for the Twist of Fate! He spins around and grabs his head but before he can drive it to the mat Harper shoves him off and into the ropes, Jeff bounces off them and GETS CAUGHT WITH A DISCUS CLOTHESLINE! Both men collapse to the mat as the referee begins his count.


As the official's count reaches 5 both men stagger to there feet and dive, tagging in their partners! Matt and Rowan shoot into the ring and start trading blows! Hardy gets the edge and delivers a big clothesline that sends Rowan to the mat, as Matt turns Harper tries getting involved but as he gets both feet back in the ring Jeff shoots across the ring and hits a cross-body that sends them both over the top rope. Matt steps towards Rowan but he gets shoved away by the much larger man. Matt tires closing in again but the monstrous Rowan connects with headbutt staggering Matt! Rowan grabs Matt by the hair and throws him into the corner and begins working him over and just as he's about to deliver his big finale Bray Wyatt stands up.


{Bray Wyatt}
STOP!


Bray Wyatt dives into the ring as Matt Hardy rest with his arms supporting him, Rowan steps away as Bray smiles. He stares at Matt for a moment as the referee berates him, telling him to get out of the ring but he doesn't listen. Wyatt's smile quickly turns to an aggressive yell as he charges and sandwiches Matt in the corner!! The ref calls for the bell as Bray starts laughing while Matt slowly crumbles to a seated position in the corner. Bray turns towards the ropes, again with a smile on his face, and yells to Harper.


{Bray Wyatt}
Keep him out of this!


Bray turns back towards Rowan after instructing Harper to hold Jeff back.


{Bray Wyatt}
The stairs...


Rowan scrambles out of the ring and rips apart the steel steps at ringside making sure he gets the correct set that Wyatt once. With great ease Rowan tosses the steps' base over the top rope and into the ring. Bray adjusts them and after they're set to his satisfaction he stalks over to Matt and with one hand grabs his hair, dragging him by it over to where the steps rest. Bray squats down so that he's face to face with Matt and he starts motioning to do something but before he can on the outside of the ring Jeff Hardy squirms free! Jeff shoots into the ring to go after Bray but as he does he is leveled by a blind side shot from Rowan's boot! Harper slides into the ring and joins his "family" as Bray turns to the chaos.


{Bray Wyatt}
Hold him down! He needs an example to live by!


Bray drops to his back and rolls out of the ring grabbing the top of the steel steps and slides them under the bottom rope into the ring. He joins the crowded ring and grabs the still dazed Matt, he jerks him to his feet but quickly moves his arm around his chest and positions him for the Sister Abigail! Bray continues to smile but hesitates for a moment.....he decides to position himself facing Jeff Hardy but in front of the steel steps base!


{Jim Ross}
You gotta be kidding me! He's going to make Jeff helplessly watch as he cracks his brother's skull on those steps!


In one swift action Bray kisses Matt on the forehead and spins him around, driving him face first onto the steps!! Bray lands on his knees and starts sprawling in a circle around his victim as Jeff Hardy tries ripping himself free from The Wyatt's but to no success. Bray stops and looks at ringside and calls for a microphone.


{Bray Wyatt}
Jeff.....I'm sorry. I'm sorry that it has to come to this, but you and all the other sheep need to learn what results come from lying and deceiving. You and your brother are hypocrites and you all have no place in the new world that is on the horizon! But.....but Jeff, I'm giving you a second chance.


Bray drops to his knees again and crawls over to Jeff, he gets nose to nose with him as he's held on his knees.


{Bray Wyatt}
I'm giving you another opportunity to be reborn! Reborn into something fit for this new world, a world without sin. This chance comes at a cost though Jeff, for you to transcend to rebirth something from your past......must......die......


Bray drops the mic and snaps his gaze onto Matt once again whose still out cold, resting on the steps base. Bray gets to his feet and stares down to Matt for a few moments before grabbing the top of the steel steps he brought into the ring earlier?! Bray makes sure his grip is secured on each side of the steps and walks over towards Matt. He straddles Matt's lifeless body and seemingly takes aim.


{Jim Ross}
This is sick! Where in the hell is security?! OR anybody for that matter!

{Jerry Lawler}
I don't know but somebody needs to stop this! He's going to make Jeff watch Matt's maiming!


Jeff has become feral as he continues screaming at Bray and trying to free himself from Harper and Rowan's grip and although forces them to focus intently on him to do so, they manage to keep him secure. Bray slowly raises the steel steps into the air over Matt and right before his next action...


{Bray Wyatt}
I am the Destroyer of Worlds!!


He viciously spikes the steel steps into the head of Matt Hardy!! The fans go from booing to complete silence and Jeff goes from feral and furious to shocked and lifeless himself. The Wyatt's release their hold on him as the three men all exit the ring and Jeff stays motionless only staring at his brother as EMTs rush past him to check on Matt's condition. He watches them put him on a stretcher and suddenly Jeff snaps. He tries sliding out of the ring and chasing down The Wyatt Family but security blocks his path, holding him back. As he realizes his attempt at revenge is futile he goes to Matt and accompanies him from the ring all the way into the back and into an ambulance.

XWL Breakdown's Slammy Edition returns from the commercial break and we see an overhead view of the live, capacity crowd. Tonight is the night where the best of the best are recognized and awarded for their gracious efforts, tonight is the 5th Anniversary of XWL. The camera hovers over the crowd with the occasional close up of fans with signs for their favorite superstars and divas and also decked out in the latest t-shirts.



The camera then drops down and we head to a close-up of the announcers table where we see Jerry "The King" Lawler, Jim Ross, and Michael Cole as we wait for the next award presentation.



[Michael Cole]: What a night it has been so far ladies and gentlemen. We have seen some big winners so far.

[Jerry Lawler]: I agree Cole, a lot of deserving people tonight even if some of my personal picks didn't win.

[Jim Ross]: We're not done yet King, we still have a lot ahead of us on this very special night. I'd like to take this time to thank everyone for tuning in to XWL's 5th Anniversary show, which also happens to be the night of the Slammy's. We couldn't have done this alone.

[Jerry Lawler]: I second that. But like JR said, we've got a lot more coming up and actually, I think it's time for another presentation.

[Jim Ross]: That's right JR, it's time for the Diva Feud of the Year Award. This is the first time we've had this award here in XWL and I have to say I'm excited to see that the XWL Divas are gaining recognition for their hard efforts.

[Michael Cole]: Now, we don't actually know who's going to be presenting this award tonight but I'm sure the person who does will be fit for the job.

[Jerry Lawler]: And now... we wait. Who's it going to be?

The camera shifts it's focus from the announcers table to inside the ring where Justin Roberts stands and puts the microphone to his mouth.



[Justin Roberts]: Ladies and gentlemen, at this time, we will be presenting the award for Diva Feud of the Year! Introducing the presenter of the award...

The camera shifts to the ramp as we wait for the presenter of the award. The crowd is almost silent, waiting in anticipation and the announcer's don't say a word either. A second...a minute...two minutes and still no one shows. The camera shifts back to Justin Roberts...

[Justin Roberts]:Sorry ladies and gentlemen, I have just been informed that the person who planned to present the award can not make it. Therefore, I will be...

Just before Justin Roberts can finish his sentence, a familiar theme song that we haven't heard in a while begins to play...

[Jim Ross]: Bah gawd! It's Nikki and Brie!

[Jerry Lawler]: It's The Bella Twins! We haven't seen them since that attack backstage by Kharma!

[Michael Cole]: Thank god! The Divas division needed some saviors and here they are, Brie and Nikki Bella. Time for these two to be back in the spotlight.

Brie and Nikki Bella step out from behind the curtain in matching red dresses to a mixed reaction of cheers and boos, with surprisingly more cheers than boos. It's almost as if the crowd missed The Bella Twins presence although it hasn't been too long.



Brie and Nikki, The Bella Twins, make their way across the stage and over to the podium where the Slammy sits and smile as the camera closes up on them. The duo looks delighted to be here and the smile on their face tells it all. Brie and Nikki look at the crowd and then look at one another then begin to speak...



[Brie Bella]: Settle down, settle down people. No you're not hallucinating, no we aren't imposters, it is indeed Nikki and I, The Bella Twins. I know we've been missed around here and I'm not surprised with the way things are going.

[Nikki Bella]: AJ Lee is now the XWL Divas Champion and Layla is the number one contender, this division is clearly digging its' own grave.

[Brie Bella]: With Nikki and I gone for the moment, there's nothing this division has to offer and we're going to make you all suffer for it. Just take a look back at the time period of last year's Slammy.

[Nikki Bella]: We shall. Just a year ago, the division was big, it was diverse, we had a great selection of divas, the division was prospering for one reason...

[Brie Bella]: And one reason only... I was at the top of this division, I was the one brining all the attention, I was making all the headlines, ME! ME! ME! Well not only me, of course I had my sister by my side.

[Nikki Bella]: This year we've certainly had our ups and downs but mark our words, 2014 will be our year! But anyways, there's a slammy here that needs to be presented and Brie and I are here to do the lovely honors, shall we get started?

[Brie Bella]: Well, here are the nominees for the Diva Feud of the Year. The first nominee for the category happens to be a grueling feud that started actually last year around this time between "The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix and Layla. We would see these two divas put on some fantastic matches such as a tables match, submission match and their final match, an I Quit match, which resulted in a victory for Beth Phoenix. These two ladies truly did leave the crowd on their feet, waiting for more and for that, they earn a spot as a nominee for Diva Feud of the Year.

[Nikki Bella]: Brie, where's the teleprompter? I don't see any around here. Are you being paid to say those nice things because I know you wouldn't be complimenting anything Layla does.

[Brie Bella]: There's no teleprompter Nikki, just trying to put our differences aside for one night.

[Nikki Bella]: Right...anyways, on to the next nominee, who I happen to be standing right next to. The second nominee for Diva Feud of the Year is Brie Bella versus Kaitlyn, a feud that dates back to last year's Slammy show when Brie was unfortunately robbed of her Divas Championship due to Layla's biased counting. Brie and Kaitlyn would eventually battle over a span of three months, with Brie being crowned Diva's Champion a second time after Uprising but Kaitlyn eventually overcoming all odds and somehow, someway, some mighty force helped her to pinned Brie for the title. This feud would be the defining moment of Kaitlyn's career because she has never faced a challenge greater than Brie and to be able to say she beat her once, she's quite lucky.

[Brie Bella]: She sure is, I'm sure she would love to rack up another accolade. And finally, last but not least, one of the more recent feuds a tag-team feud that featured The United Queendom, Layla and Paige, and The Bella Twins, Brie and Nikki Bella.

[Nikki Bella]: Correction... the team once known as The United Queendom, after we put them to rest.

[Brie Bella]: Right. Well, I have to say personally that feud was a favorite of mine, not only did we come out on top but we've had some memorable moments with Paige and Layla, singing Happy Birthday to Layla, backstage brawls, contract signing, matches after matches, all good of fun. I'm sure the fans enjoyed it too. Well Nikki, let's stop keeping these fans waiting and let's give them what they want...

[Nikki Bella]: And the winner of the Diva Feud of the Year Slammy is...

Brie and Nikki Bella pick up the envelope together and open it together. Brie takes the card out and holds it in the air. She then brings it back down to chest level and Nikki assists her in opening the card. The Bella Twins smile and put the card down before leaning over to the microphone...

[Brie Bella  and Nikki Bella]: The United Queendom versus The Bella Twins!

Nikki Bella snatches up the slammy from the podium and she starts jumping up and down. Brie Bella takes this opportunity to speak into the microphone..

[Brie Bella]: I just want to thank my family, my friends, the locker room, they've been a huge support. I also want to thank everyone who believed in Nikki and I since day one, we're finally being recognized for how superior we are to all these other divas. Even though this award isn't just for Nikki and I, it's okay because we won in the end, didn't we? We're the ones standing here tall, aren't we? Exactly. The Bella Twins have an everlasting bond that no one can break and this won't be the last of us. We will be back on top so whoever is champion by then, just watch out!





A pop from the fans at the sound of Layla's theme roars throughout the building. Nikki scoffs as Layla walks out from the back, microphone in hand and she waves at the twins before approaching the podium.


[Layla]
Appreciate the warning girls, but I think the real issue here, is the fact that you're out here all on your lonesome when, last I checked, this was two group act. Not to take anything away from your stellar victories in the end, we all know those really catapulted you to, success...

Nikki clings to the Slammy, rolling her eyes, while Brie doesn't react as, annoyed as her sister.


[Layla]
But really, we shouldn't let our issues of the past get in the way of celebrating this together. It's our differences that made this rivalry so memorable, it's the contrast in characters that set this feud apart from the rest. As much as you'd like to think it was based solely on the fact that it involved you two, and that this is your award...I'm afraid I'm going to have to remind you that this award is just as much mine, as it is yours.


Layla snatches The Slammy away from Nikki, sliding it over to her side of the podium. She smiles sweetly at them, gliding her hand across the base of the award.

[Layla]
Isn't this nice? You know what I just realized, this is the third year in a row you've presented a Slammy to me! I think we've found our new tradition, all I gotta do is keep winning 'em, and you just gotta keep standing there looking pretty, well...half of you anyways.

Nikki glares at Layla, ready to go off on her, but Brie holds her back, telling her to calm down. It's obvious this was yet another dig at Nikki, the twin Layla's had the most issues with.

[Brie Bella]: I tried to present this award and accept it on everyone's behalf but clearly, because you aren't in the spotlight, you have to throw all these cheap shots. I didn't come with the intention of getting my hands dirty tonight, tonight is a night of celebration but if I have to... I won't hesitate.

[Nikki Bella]: And obviously, you're right, this was a two group act, you could say that this award is equally ours but the thing is only one group stands tall and the numbers are certainly in our favor. Do me a favor and step aside...that way.

Nikki pulls the Slammy back over to her side and picks up the Slammy. She starts to smile at it before speaking...

[Nikki Bella]: You know what I see when I look at this Slammy? The Bella Twins making history and winning the first ever award for Diva Feud of the Year. I see the hard work Brie and I put in just to make you relevant and look how far you've come, we've made your story and journey even better. We've broken you down and look at you now, you're facing AJ Lee at November to Remember, what a story...bravo.

[Brie Bella]: Congratulations Layla, you're finally making a name for yourself but I'm glad we could kick off your career. Make the best of this opportunity because it's the last you'll ever get.

[Nikki Bella]: Let's pretend that it didn't take her one whole year to finally earn a rematch, talk about hard-working, dedicated and passionate.

Obviously sarcasm, but Layla just smiles and stares at Nikki solely as she speaks.

[Layla]
Aw, you noticed, aren't you just the sweetest! But really girls don't get so touchy, what would this night be without a little taste of what this rivalry offered. Strong personalities, witty banter, and at the end of the day, harmless fun. We had fun, we brought something to the division that it had never seen before, and who knows, may never see again.

Layla looks at Brie, then at Nikki, staring at them up and down.

[Layla]
But the real story tonight isn't our Slammy Award winning rivalry...no, there's something even bigger a foot...because, and I hope you didn't think I had forgotten girls...

They look at Layla with a suspicious gaze, Nikki more agitated than the more tame Brie.


[Layla]
Happy Birthday!


She claps excitedly, while Brie seems to have calmed down, and Nikki seemingly waits for the backhanded comment to follow.


[Layla]
What's wrong Nikki? Do you think I'm going to do something? Me? NEVER. I'd never slam your face in your Birthday cake, pour champagne on you and bring you to tea- well, two out of three isn't bad. I mean we can't all be as big of a bitch as you!

Nikki immediately takes offense to that, but Layla throws her hands up quickly chiming in.

[Layla]
Were! You didn't let me finish, were, WERE. It's the start of a brand new era of for The Bella Twins! Brie is actually nice and not so full of her self, and Nikki is...well, she's still Nikki, but A for effort!

She sticks both thumbs up flashing a smile, The Bellas, on the other hand however, don't take the shot at Nikki well, both glaring at Layla with a heated stare. Nikki places the Slammy down on the podium and takes a step towards Layla, who takes this moment as a chance to reach for what is also her Slammy. Brie quickly throws a hand to it causing Nikki to do the same and forcing Layla to use both her hand to pull the Slammy towards herself. With the numbers game noticeably in The Bellas favor, they begin to gain the upper hand is this battle of tug of war for the Divas Feud of the Year Slammy. Just when it seemed that Layla would lose the battle...







A theme that hasn't been heard in nearly a month begins to play throughout the arena, causing an array of cheers to emit from the live audience in attendance, all of which are directed at the returning Anti-Diva. A few seconds pass by before a familiar figure appears on the stage, walking out from behind the curtain. It's Paige! Paige stands on stage, a few feet from where the two divas she once waged war with, The Bella Twins, as well as her former tag team partner, Layla, stand near the podium. After remaining stationary on the stage, Paige turns to where the three divas are, locking eyes with Layla for a few seconds before shifting to the Bellas. Paige, just like the other three women on stage, has as much right to claim the award as they do, but why has she chosen now to return?

After a month of silence and after getting her arm broken at the hands of the reigning Divas Champion, AJ Lee, could this be the revival of the Anti-Diva? Paige begins to make her way to the podium as all three divas remain looking at her, but almost as instant as her return, he's dropped down to a knee after a strike to her lower back. Before anybody can question it, a woman with fiery red hair is revealed to be the culprit and it quickly becomes apparent who it is when she removes her hair from face by running a hand through it.

The returning Alicia Fox stands tall over Paige before beginning to unload forearm shots to her back, causing Layla to make a beeline towards Fox in an attempt to put a stop to it. The second she takes a hold on Fox's hair, she's smacked in the back with the Divas Championship, courtesy of AJ Lee, dropping her down to her back. Fox begins to remove Paige's signature jacket and tosses it aside, revealing her taped up arm and shoulder, obviously not fully recovered from the assault at the hands of AJ Lee.

AJ is shown whispering something to her Divas Championship and pulls it up towards her ear, almost as if it's telling her something. A huge smile appears on her face as she nods at it, gently placing it on the floor and begins to get Layla in position for something. Meanwhile, on the other side of the stage, Paige is beginning to mount a comeback but she's stopped in her tracks when Fox delivers a wild kick to her taped up shoulder, causing her to drop down to her knees in pain.

With Layla being set up in perfect position for the Black Widow submission maneuver, AJ begins to apply pressure to the hold, forcing Layla to scream out in pain while trying to fight out of it, but to no avail. With Layla in no position to help her former tag team partner, Fox takes this as her cue to lift Paige up to her feet and throws her with as much force as she can muster into the minitron on the stage. Paige falls down with a thud as Layla is still locked in the Black Widow.

While all this was going on, The Bellas remained stood near the podium, with the award sitting firmly on it. They share a glance before they decide to take the award and begin making their way backstage. Boos fill the arena as the duo formally known as The United Queendom have fallen victim to their respective rivals. AJ eventually releases the hold and picks up her Divas Championship, dusting it off before placing it over her shoulder. The last image shown before this special edition of Breakdown fades into a commercial break is AJ Lee and Alicia Fox standing tall.

[Jim Ross]
That's right, folks, your eyes aren't deceiving you. Tonight, you're in for a treat, the returning Alicia Fox, as well as the returning Paige will be going one on one. A rivalry that dates back a little over a year has been reignited after Fox made her return at Paige's expense. The following match was made via the XWL App just moments ago during the commercial break. Lets take you back to see how it all happened.

*Suddenly, we see the backside of the returning Alicia Fox strutting into a door with the name plaque stating "Stephanie McMahon." Alicia boldly slips inside the door, unannounced as she takes her place alongside Stephanie's desk.*

[Alicia Fox]
So, what did you think?

[Stephanie McMahon]
Think of what? You entering my office without the courtesy of knocking?

[Alicia Fox]
No, me taking out that pasty nuisance, Paige.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Yes, I did happen to see that.

*Stephanie gestures towards the television streaming the show live into her office. Alicia turns to look at it, and gleefully glances back at Stephanie, patiently smiling at her. After a moment, Stephanie speaks up.*

[Stephanie McMahon]
.. Is there something I can do for you Alicia?

[Alicia Fox]
Yes.

[Stephanie McMahon]
And what exactly is that?

[Alicia Fox]
I'm ready for my title match.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Excuse me?

[Alicia Fox]
I thought we were done with that when they finally booted Vickie out of this joint.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Listen here, Alicia, I don't know who you think you are, or why you feel so entitled, but it's my job to clear that up for you. You think you deserve a title match just because you took out an age-old foe from way back when?

[Alicia Fox]
Well, yeah.

[Stephanie McMahon]

*Alicia Fox sighs and rolls her eyes a bit, placing her hand on her hip. Luckily, for her sake, it seems to slip by Stephanie's attention.*

By facing Paige tonight.

[Stephanie McMahon]
That's right, you and Paige are going to battle out all of your issues, just like old times.

[Alicia Fox]
You've got to be kidding me. You can't do that!

[Stephanie McMahon]
Wrong again Miss Fox, I can. Because like you said earlier, Vickie is gone, but to fill the void of authority, and then some, I am here. I am in charge, and this is my show. You work for me now, so go out there and do exactly what I expect you to do, work.

*Alicia squeals and frustratingly storms out of the office, slamming the door behind her and leaving Stephanie with a grin on her face, another satisfied customer.*






*With that coming to an end, the cameras cut back to the arena, where Paige's theme begins to play to a roar of approval from the live audience in attendance. The clear fan favorite in this match is at a disadvantage after the events that transpired earlier in the evening. It seems that this may just be an easy win for Alicia Fox, or maybe, it may be the hardest one she has ever had to fight for.*



*The cheers seemingly get louder the second that the Anti-Diva walks out from behind the curtain, with her theme still blasting throughout the arena. She stands on the stage for a moment, absorbing all the energy from the crowd, as her nameplate appears at the bottom of the screen before fading after a few moments. She raises an arm into the air before making her descent down the entrance ramp.*



*Now making her way down the ramp, Paige decides to slap a few hands on her way to the ring, garnering a positive reaction from the crowd. It may not seem like it but one has to believe that Paige is hurting after not only getting her arm nearly broken by AJ Lee just a few weeks back, but also after that attack on her earlier in the evening, courtesy of Alicia Fox. She makes it to the ringside area and walk around the ring, climbing up onto the ring apron.*



*Paige remains on the apron for a moment, looking out towards the sea of people that make up the crowd. She points out towards them before doing her signature yell and proceeding to remove her jacket, revealing that her arm and shoulder is indeed taped up. She tosses the jacket to the side and enters the ring, once again letting out a scream, which only causes the crowd to cheer her more.*



*After pacing back and forth for a moment in anticipation of the arrival of her Foxy Rival, the ref decides to ask Paige if she really wants to go through with this match. Paige simply waves him off and fixes her gaze on the stage.*





*The once friendly crowd quickly turns hostile as the theme of XWL's Foxy Diva begins to play, emitting nothing but negative reactions towards her. Paige's pace in the ring begins to increase as the moment of revenge is slowly drawing near.*



*Fox trots out from behind the curtain in her signature fox hood, managing to draw the ire of the live audience in attendance. She simply thanks the crowd for their “kind” reactions towards her, blowing a sarcastic kiss towards them. Fox locks eyes with Paige, who is chomping at the bit awaiting the start of this match, and you can almost see the hatred between them reignited. Fox begins to methodically make her way to the ring, seemingly going to slap the extended hand of a fan in the front row but quickly pulling back at the last second, crushing his dreams in an instant. She makes it to the ringside area and hops onto the apron like only she could and enters the ring, forcing the ref to step in between both bitter rivals and stops Paige from getting her hands on Fox for the time being.*



*Fox does a dramatic motion with her hand, telling the ref to hold Paige back. With that done, she removes her signature hood and scales the second turnbuckle, raising the hood above her head and spinning it around while shaking her hips back and forth. When she's done, she lowers the hood back to her side and turns to face Paige while still on the second turnbuckle. Fox mouths to her, “How's your arm?” which causes Paige to attempt a lunge at her but is stopped by the referee. Fox smirks before dropping the hood to the outside and hops off the turnbuckle, standing across the ring from her long time rival.*




*With the match now underway, both women begin circling one another for a few moment before Fox attempts a lockup, but due to her hurt arm, Paige is having none of it and drops down to a knee to avoid it, ending up behind Fox. She tries her best to hold her grip around Fox's waist but to no avail. Fox overpowers Paige with ease and lands a back elbow, connecting directly with her jaw, sending her stumbling backwards a few steps. Fox lunges forwards for a clothesline attempt but Paige is able to duck it and runs towards the ropes, ricocheting off of them and catching Fox with a clothesline of her own when she turns around.*

*Fox bounces back up to her feet only to get knocked back down with another clothesline. Paige lets out her signature scream, showing that she's fired up early on in the match, but it could come back to haunt her in the long run. That rings true almost instantly the second she turns around and walks right into a dropkick, courtesy of Fox. Paige quickly makes it back up to her feet, only to fall to another dropkick from XWL's Foxy Diva. Looking to end this one early, Fox drops down to the canvas and goes for the first pinfall attempt in the matchup, but it gets broken before the refs hand could slap the mat for a one count.*

*Paige sits up and is clearly favoring her still hurt shoulder, if it wasn't already a target, it is now. Fox notices this as a smirk slowly begins to grace her face. With Paige trying to make it back to her feet, Fox takes a step back and lands a swift low dropkick aimed directly for her shoulder, causing Paige to slam her fist into the mat in pain. Fox tries to take a hold of Paige's arm but she wraps her hands together in an attempt to prevent her rival from inflicting even more damage to her arm. It appears to be a successful defense, that is, until Fox lands a quick kick to her back, causing her to break her grip and putting Fox in the drivers seat once again.*

*With the fans clearly on Paige's side, they begin chanting her name in an attempt to help her make a comeback but it doesn't appear to be helping. Fox has taken control of the match and begins to wrench back on Paige's arm, putting her in a bad spot as she is now at risk of tapping out on her return. Just when it seemed like Paige would submit, a wild swing to the side of Fox's face provides the perfect escape, keeping the match alive.*



*Taking exception to the punch, Fox charges at Paige, who has used this time to catch her breath at the corner turnbuckle, and falls right into her trap, sending Fox face first into the middle turnbuckle, giving her a few more moments to recover and turn the tides back into her favor. Fox holds her jaw for a moment, giving Paige the perfect opportunity to strike with a series of knees directed at Fox's shoulder, almost returning the favor from earlier on in the match. The relentless assault comes to an end when Paige is pulled off of Fox by the referee.*



*Fox is shown holding her shoulder, whether it's to mock Paige or if she's really hurting has yet to be seen. Paige doesn't give Fox a moment to rest and charges at her, only to have her feet kicked out from under her by Fox. Now on her knees, Paige is sent flying backwards after another kick from Fox, this time to her head. A few moments pass before Fox begins to use the ropes for leverage to lift herself up off the canvas and to her feet. With Paige still reeling in the center of the ring, Fox decides to use this time to catch her breath before continuing the attack.*



*With the moment now seeming right, Fox decides to make a beeline towards Paige but that quickly proves to be a mistake as she's met with a kick to the gut and is sent back into the turnbuckle. Almost as if she was taken by surprise, she remains on the turnbuckle, allowing Paige to charge at her and launches herself into the air for a Monkey Flip. Fox is able to stop herself from being thrown halfway across the ring and positions herself and Paige near the ropes before falling down to the canvas but not before Paige's neck meets the top rope, almost decapitating her. Paige collapses to the canvas and rolls out to the apron in an attempt to get out of harms way.*



*Fox is having none of it and reaches through the ropes, taking a hold of Paige's hair and pulling her up to her feet. She pulls Paige through the middle rope and begins unloading forearm after forearm, dazing the Anti-Diva for the time being. With Paige hanging on the middle rope with her upper body inside the ring, Fox takes a few steps back and runs forward at Paige's seemingly lifeless body, landing a swift but deadly Scissors Kick, if Paige wasn't out before, she is now. Paige's body just lies doubled over on the middle rope while Fox, knowing that she has this match won, takes a few well deserved moments to trot around the ring and get under the crowds skin.*

*After a good amount of time, Fox looks back at Paige and sees her beginning to show signs of life. She stops her showboating for a moment and begins to size up Paige once more for what looks like another Scissors Kick. Fox pushes herself forward and attempts the deadly move again, but this time, Paige is able to pull her body away, avoiding impact completely. Fox isn't done, however, and kicks the middle rope, still managing to catch an unsuspecting Paige. Fox tries to follow up with a kick to the head but Paige is able to catch it and throws herself off the apron and to the outside, still holding on to Fox's leg.*

*Fox falls onto the canvas, holding her leg in pain, and struggles to quickly make it back to her feet but does eventually the second Paige slides back into the ring. Paige makes a beeline at her rival but walks right into Fox's trap and gets hit with a Tilt A Whirl Backbreaker. Paige remains resting on Fox's knee before being unceremoniously and forcefully shoved onto the canvas. Fox follows up with a pinfall attempt.*

*Paige rolls over to her stomach to avoid another pinfall from Fox but that's not what she had in mind. Fox makes it up to her feet and takes a few steps back, sizing up Paige for yet another Scissors Kick, this time, with ill intent in her eyes. Paige holds her lower back, still feeling the effects of the Tilt A Whirl Backbreaker and eventually makes it on all fours. Her hair falls over her face, seemingly blocking Fox from her line of sight.*



*With Paige now in position, Fox runs forward once again, and gets more height on her jump than she normally does, with her leg almost slicing the air in half. She brings her leg down across the back of Paige's head, or she would have if Paige wouldn't have avoided the attack. With Fox's leg now in Paige's hands, the Foxy Diva tries to fight out of it but before she's even given an opportunity, Paige sets her up for the Paige Turner, driving her into the canvas with as much force as she can muster.*

*Paige holds her arm in pain, as blocking the move took more out of her than she thought, fully aware that she didn't get all of the Paige Turner. Knowing that it wouldn't put Fox away for the three count, Paige pulls herself up off the canvas and walks over to Fox's legs, lifting them up off the mat and wrapping them together before turning Fox to her stomach for her signature Cloverleaf. Fox's back begins to arch more and more with the amount of pressure Paige begins adding to the hold, causing Fox to scramble to the ropes to avoid being submitted in her return.*

*It's apparent that Paige doesn't have the hold fully locked in due to her hurt arm but it's still enough to keep applying pressure to the hold. Just when it seemed there was no escape for Fox, she uses her leg strength to counter Paige's hold, pulling her a few inches forward, just enough for Fox to scramble out of the hold and quickly exits the ring.*



*Paige tries to follow Fox out of the ring to finish what was started between them but the ref holds Paige back, stopping her from doing so. Fox makes her way around the ring and begins to walk backwards up the ramp, sarcastically waving at Paige, who is livid in the ring. The refs count reaches five and it doesn't appear that Fox has any interest in continuing this match.*



*Fox stands halfway up the ramp as the refs count reaches seven, leaving a pissed off Paige in the center of the ring, pacing back and forth. With the refs count reaching ten a few moments later, he calls for the bell, awarding the hollow victory to Paige, who still hasn't taken her eyes off of Fox. Fox begins to trot up the ramp, content with the way the match ended but just before she reaches the stage...*








*The theme of Stephanie McMahon begins to play, stopping Fox in her tracks as she looks up towards the stage. After a few moments, Stephanie walks out from behind the curtain and stands firmly on the stage, with her eyes shifting back and forth between Fox and Paige every few seconds and with a mic in hand. Fox is heard saying, “Are you here to give me my title match?” at Stephanie, who simply shakes her head. She lets the mixed reactions of the live audience in attendance die down a bit before raising the microphone and begins to speak.*

[Stephanie McMahon]
Earlier tonight, I told you the only way you were going to get a title shot was to work for it, Miss Fox, so what do you do to earn that shot? You run away from a match with Paige, who, even with a hurt arm, somehow managed to push to you your limit. If that's the best you've got, then I hate to tell you, but you're never getting that shot you so desperately want. Now to why I'm out here, that was a good match both you ladies were putting on, well, at least it was until Miss Fox here decided to cut it short because she couldn't put you away, Paige.



[Stephanie McMahon]
A rivalry that has been going on over the course of a year shouldn't be ending in a count out, no, it should be ending in that ring, so what I propose is that Alicia Fox and Paige go at it one more time. But that won't be tonight, no, it will be this Sunday at November To Remember. The “Foxy Diva,” Alicia Fox will take on the “Anti-Diva,” Paige in a rematch from tonight. Good luck to both of you.



*With the match now being made for November to Remember, Fox and Paige engage in a staredown, both wearing a smirk on their respective faces. Breakdown goes fades a commercial break as Fox begins to trot her way backstage while Paige continues to celebrate her victory over her rival.*

*As the Slammy Awards return from a commercial break, “The Dashingly Insane” Cody Rhodes is shown storming out to the ring, clearly furious about the events that transpired earlier on tonight with Ted DiBiase and the Feud of the Year Slammy Award. As usual, the fans heckle and gibe at Cody as he makes his way down to the ring, but he blows them off and continues his walk.*



[Jim Ross]
Well, this kid seems to be in a great mood.

[Michael Cole]
What happened earlier was injustice! Ted DiBiase did not deserve that Slammy Award, that should go to Cody! We should be Slammy buddies right now! He would have the Feud of the Year, and I would be Announcer of the Year.

[Jerry Lawler]
I can’t tell anymore, are you delusional or just stupid?

[Jim Ross]
I think a little of both.

*Cody taps on the top stair with his right hand before climbing up and leaping onto the apron. He runs his hand across the top rope as he walks across the apron, taking one glance at the crowd before entering the ring. He takes the microphone from Justin Roberts before taking center stage in the center of the ring. As the crowd continues to jeer him, he just looks at them with disgust and shakes his head.*



[Michael Cole]
Come on! Show some respect people!

*Finally, Cody raises the microphone and begins to speak.*

[Cody Rhodes]
ATTENTION PLEASE.

*This time, Cody doesn’t wait for the crowd and immediately begins talking after uttering his famous catchphrase.*


[Cody Rhodes]
You know, I just don’t know what to say anymore. What happened earlier on tonight… that was simply an injustice. The fact that Ted DiBiase is walking around backstage with a Slammy Award right now makes me sick, it makes my stomach turn. That man doesn’t even deserve recognition from you people and this company, let alone an award. Yet because of all of you people, all of you SHEEP, that man has gotten away with robbery once more, he has stolen MY Slammy Award. Everything I work so hard for, everything I dedicate my life to, that man just strolls on by and rips it away from me. He doesn’t give a damn and none of you do, either. All I use to do was try to help people, try to help people like Ted, but it always use to end the same way. Nobody would ever listen to me, they would just shake their heads and step all over me. Because I was too oblivious to realize this, too foolish, it cost me my World Heavyweight Championship. And now my past mistakes have come to haunt me again, because my Slammy Award has been stolen away.


[Cody Rhodes]
But, I digress. By the end of the night, that Feud of the Year Slammy won’t really matter. You see, last week I took a well deserved vacation. I’ve busted my ass all year, and seeing is there is quite simply nobody who could stop me, I decided to take a break. Oh, if you’re wondering where the only person in that locker room I can tolerate is, Joey has also taken a much needed vacation this week. Anyway, I hopped on a private jet and went to Honolulu, so obviously I would need a pretty damn good reason to leave Hawaii and come here to Houston of all places. And that reason, of course, is the Superstar of the Year Slammy. I came back to claim what will be mine, because let’s just face the facts here. Who’s my competition? Chris Jericho… Dolph Ziggler… Alex Shelley… John Morrison… Alberto Del Rio… Dean Ambrose… and of course, Ol’ Crybaby Ted. Do any of those guys even be nominated? As far as I’m concerned, the nominees should be Cody Rhodes, Joey Ryan, Michael Cole, and Virgil. That would actually give some real competition.


[Cody Rhodes]
First off, I don’t even know why Dean Ambrose is nominated. All he did was beat up Dolph Ziggler a little, but guess what, I did that too. As a matter of fact, I beat Dolph Ziggler twice in one night. So, I suppose that Dolph should be crossed off that list too. Alex Shelley… I’m pretty sure he lost his title to Jerry Lawler’s nephew, which is even more embarrassing than Lawler’s commentary. Then there’s Alberto Del Rio, who finally won the World Heavyweight Championship at the Monster Bash… and held his title for a whole whooping one week. We’ve got John Morrison on the ballot, now I can’t knock his impressive reign with the Intercontinental Champion, but if we’re being honest he’s the Ted DiBiase of Miz and Morrison. Want proof? There’s a reason why the Miz is World Champ and Morrison is sitting on his couch wallowing in self pity. And of course, the best for last, Ol’ Crybaby Ted himself… Ted DiBiase. What else can I even say about him? Quite frankly, I’m tired of having to say his name.


[Cody Rhodes]
You people want proof that nobody is more fit to be Superstar of the Year than me? When you take a look at it, you’ll realize that nobody has more nominations this year than myself. I dominated the nominations and I already won a Slammy earlier on tonight, even if Ted refuses to acknowledge that. That still isn’t enough for you? Just look at all the people I beat this year. I beat World Champion after World Champion, I knocked down everybody that this company put in front of me. You still need some more proof? Go find your hero, your “People’s Champion” the Rock and go ask him why Cody Rhodes deserves to be Superstar of the Year. You’ll give you a real clear answer, a resounding “YES.” For the past two months, I have laid the Smackdown on Rock’s roody poo candy ass, and he’s got nothing on me. I OWN the Rock.


[Cody Rhodes]
I told all of you people, you just didn’t listen, because you never do. But I don’t care whether or not you listen anymore, because I don’t need tell you people what I’m going to do anymore. All I simply have to do is come out to this ring and do it, because that is all the talking that I need to do. Nobody can match me when it comes to pure in-ring skill, technique, and awareness. I don’t need you people anymore, and Joey Ryan doesn’t need you people anymore. We proved just how weak you and your hero really are. You people and the Rock have nothing left, we have taken everything from you and we have the world in the palm of our hands. We’re already the best, but Dashingly Sleazy is just going to keep on getting better and that should scare a lot of people. Nobody can even come close to competing with us and nobody deserves that Superstar of the Year Award more than I do. I just dare someone to come out here and prove me wrong.



*The crowd are on their feet as the theme of the Rock blasts through the arena! The crowd are cheering and a large Rocky chant can be heard as Cody looks towards the stage with a very intense stare…the theme is played for a few moments and no sign of Rock. After a little while longer the crowd cheers thinking that The Great One is out on the stage but suddenly the crowd turn to boo and Cody begins to laugh as he sees none other than Joey Ryan charging out onto the stage, mocking The Rocks entrance, pacing up and down before laughing and picking up a mic from the stage as the theme slowly fades*

FINALLY…JOEY RYAN AND CODY RHODES HAVE COME BACK TO HOUSTON, TEXAS!

Sorry if I scared you there, Cody. That wasn’t intensional. I know I was meant to be on a break and I was, the past few days I’ve just been at the happiest place in the world, Disneyland! Trying to talk to chicks on space mountain, it’s been great but ya’ know I felt I ‘ought to come back and surprise and support my friend when he wins his superstar of the year slammy! You know last year I still remember it clear as if it was yesterday, my good friend, Michael Cole, standing in that ring presenting me with not one…not two…but three slammy awards! Newcomer of the year, breakout star of the year and shocker of the year. Thank you, Michael, once again for those awards. This time last year I was holding the world heavyweight title and last week I lost at a chance to get a shot at the United States title. Times have changed but Joey Ryan is only getting better and better and now with Cody Rhodes and Dashingly Sleazy there is nothing that should be getting in the way of Cody or Joey doing anything they want in this company.

Also I’ve always wanted to come out with someone else’s theme and prove to all these fans that they are delusional. That they do not know what is right and what is wrong. Just there, you all raised to your feet just because you heard a simple theme, then as soon as a real superstar walks out and comes onto the stage who isn’t made by the suits in the back, who isn’t made to be a superstar just because of his build, who actually worked damn hard for years to get to this position to be infront of you all today, just for sleazeballs like you to slap me in the face and push me three steps you all start to cry and then sit back in your chairs, slouch like the fat slobs you are and proceed to boo and disrespect us. We don’t deserve that. Cody Rhodes dosen’t deserve that. You know what, why did Ted have to come and get that slammy? Why is there not a slammy here for Cody right now? Cody won fair and square. Ted stole that slammy away! He should be reported for his actions!

Tonight is the night that Dashingly Sleazy should be enjoying success, we should be getting all these awards. Why does anyone else even get nominations when everything that defines XWL is standing right here in this ring? We don’t need anyone and we certainly do not need any of you people to do anything for us. We are too good for this, we are too good for all of you. Cody, I think it’s time we take this plan to the next level, we’ve proven we can beat people like The Rock but I think sooner or later you need to get back in the spotlight fighting for that world heavyweight title and proving that you’re the best in this company. There is nothing which is going to stop us from making 2014 the greatest year XWL has ever seen, all thanks to Dashingly Sleazy. Who's going to really try come up against us? We've taken out one of the men who was meant to be one of those guys who everyone looked up too, who everyone thought was a saviour when times were tough. It dosen't matter who wants to get through that curtain because they need to have a long hard think before they walk down the ramp and get in the ring with two outspoken professionals like ourselves. This is our future and 2014 is soon to be the year of Dashingly Sleazy.


[Cody Rhodes]
You know, Joey, I wouldn’t worry about any of that because at the end of the day we both know we are the best this company has to offer and if these people are too stupid to realize that, that’s too damn bad for them. We are the type of men who don’t need to come out here and tell these people what we want to do, because we have the capability to actually pull it off. These people will never understand, Joey, because they haven’t achieved a fraction of the success that we have in our life. We will own 2014 and mark my words, we will dominate every single category at next year’s Slammy. This time next year, I guarantee all of you that one us will be the World Heavyweight Champion, and everybody who gets in our way will end up just like the Rock. Thanks to us, the Rock is a thing of the past but he is certainly just the beginning. Everybody you people you look up, everybody you people love… they will all bow to Dashingly Sleazy in 2014.

But is it really him?

*At the sound of the Rock’s theme, Joey Ryan and Cody Rhodes freeze in the center of the ring, looking up at the entrance stage in shock with their jaws hanging wide open. The fans are sent into a frenzy as “The Great One” himself finally makes his way out to the stage! Rock gazes upon the arena for a moment, taking it all in before charging at the ring full speed! He slides into the ring and ducks a clothesline from Joey, and takes Cody down with his own clothesline! Rock quickly turns around and grabs Joey, planting him with the Rock Bottom!*



[Michael Cole]
NO!

[Jim Ross]
ROCK BOTTOM! ROCK BOTTOM! THE ROCK IS HERE!

[Jerry Lawler]
This crowd has blown the roof straight off of the arena!



*As Joey Ryan is laid out in the center of the ring, Cody Rhodes climbs back up to his feet and takes his shirt off, throwing it to the ground. He and the Rock lock eyes, having a staredown with each other across the ring. The fans chant “ROCKY! ROCKY! ROCKY!” as Cody tenses up a little bit, clenching his fists. Cody gives in and charges at the Rock, swinging a right, only for it to be ducked. Rock shoves Cody into the corner and he unloads on him with right after right after right! Eventually, Cody sinks down into the corner and the Rock beats on his chest to a roar from the crowd.*

[Jerry Lawler]
The Rock is fired up and he’s laying the smackdown on Dashingly Sleazy!

[Michael Cole]
This isn’t fair, Cody already had his Slammy stolen! Give him a break!

[Jim Ross]
Oh, I’m sure Rock will break something that belongs to Cody.

*Cody is still down and out in the corner as the Rock approaches, leaning in to pick up the Dashingly Insane superstar, but receives a thumb to the eye for his troubles! The fans jeer as Cody hops back up to his feet, drilling a couple of rights into the Rock’s skull! The Rock is in a daze as Cody continues to drill him with punches before he tries whipping him into the corner. The Rock is able to block the attempt and he stands his ground, only to get kicked in the gut. He hunches over and Cody hits the ropes, but he’s caught by a Spinebuster on the way back!*



[Jim Ross]
Spinebuster! Cody’s out!

[Michael Cole]
Come on! Where’s the security?

*Following the spinebuster, everybody knows what comes next. Everybody stands up on their in anticipation as the Rock walks up to Cody, kicking his right shoulder. The Rock raises his arms, but is attacked from behind by Joey Ryan! Cody rolls to the outside as Joey hammers away at the Rock, clobbering him with shot after shot to the skull and back. Joey takes the Rock and brings him over to the corner, smashing his head into the turnbuckle over and over. Eventually, Joey gives up and drags the Rock to the center of the ring, looking for the pedigree! Rock slips out, however, and connects with the DDT! Joey is laid out in the center as the Rock stands above him, setting up for the People’s Elbow!*

Oh! It’s coming!

[Jim Ross]
By god! Can you feel the electricity in this arena?

[Michael Cole]
No… no… no! This isn’t happening!

*The fans here in Houston are once again chanting “ROCKY! ROCKY! ROCK!” as he sways his arms back and forth before hitting the ropes. He bounces off of the first set, makes his way back and leaps over Joey, hits the second set of ropes, comes back to Joey and freezes for a moment. He looks around the arena before cocking the People’s Eyebrow and connecting with the People’s Elbow!*



[Jim Ross]
There it is! The People’s Elbow!

*Joey Ryan is officially done as the Rock kips up to his feet and looks  to the outside, where he notices Cody using the apron to get back up on his feet. The Rock quickly makes his way down to the floor, catching Cody by surprise with a clothesline! Cody got flattened and is stretched out on the floor as the Rock turns around and spots the announce table. Showing no emotion on his face, he marches over to the table and removes the cover, tossing it the ground. He grabs the monitors and throws them to the ground before shoving all of the papers left behind by the announcers to the ground. He grabs Cody and tosses him onto the announce table before climbing up himself, setting up for the Rock Bottom!*

[Michael Cole]
NO! ROCK! PLEASE! DON’T DO THIS! DON’T DO THIS!

[Jim Ross]
I think Cody’s going for a ride straight through our table!

[Jerry Lawler]
I think we should back up a little!

*The ten thousand plus in the arena are up on their feet screaming as the Rock stands up on the announce table, with a tight grip on Cody. He takes a breath before lifting Cody up, driving him straight through the table with the Rock Bottom! The table shatters into pieces and Rock hops straight up onto his feet as Cody remains on the ground, with his limbs stretched out and eyes shut closed. The Rock rips off his shirt and tosses it into the crowd before sliding back into the ring, climbing up to the top rope, and striking his “If Ya Smell” pose on the turnbuckle.*



[Jim Ross]
I don’t know if I’ve ever seen the Rock so fired up! He ran out here and just destroyed Dashingly Sleazy, and Cody is at our feet in a million pieces!

[Jerry Lawler]
Dashingly Sleazy has talked a big game, and they kept saying the put the Rock out, but to me it looks like he’s better than ever! And ironically, who’s the only one standing now? That was great!

[Michael Cole]
Guys, I think Cody might be seriously hurt! How can he accept his Superstar of the Year Slammy now?

[Jim Ross]
Oh, that’s too damn bad.

*The Slammy Awards go to a commercial break with the shot of the Rock standing on top of the turnbuckle with his fist raised high in the air, soaking in the moment. What will happen when “The Great One” takes on both members of Dashingly Sleazy in a handicap match this Sunday at November to Remember? Is this a sign of things to come? I know exactly what it's like to be at the top of this business and now I have finally made it to XWL, and as one of the greatest WCW World Champions of all time I must say... This place absolutely sucks. Even compared to WCW, Walking around back there makes me sick. The endless supply of so called talent who don't deserve a damn thing, the XWL Management trying to bosss me around and tell me what to do... Nobody Tells David Arquette what to do.. I've accomplished more than most of this XWL Roster, I should be treated with respect! Dolph walks out from behind the curtain with a microphone and straight up to the podium, he snatches the Slammy away from David Arquette and walks towards the ramp, without even taking notice of Arquette, Dolph Appears to be in no mood for David Arquette



Ziggler stands on top of the stage before his music dies down, he begins to walk down the ramp and begins to speak

Match of the Year! All I can say is it's about damn time! Finally I have been recognised for been the best there is. Let's face it, I would've won this award regardless of Dean Ambrose. This isn't about Dean Ambrose it's about me, that's why I am the one standing here and not him. That's why I am the one with this award in my hand and not him. Winning match of the year had nothing to do with Dean Ambrose...Nothing. I am the best this company has to offer and I put on match of the night each and every time I come to this ring. This award isn't shocking to me, it's deserved and it's being deserved for far too long. I shouldn't be standing here with just this slammy, I should be standing here with the slammy for Superstar of the year, because not a damn superstar on this roster comes even close to matching up to me.


[Dolph Ziggler]
But No doubt, I will be once again over looked and it will go to somebody undeserving and somebody who I out shone and out wrestled each and every night. I have this Match of the Year award because they had no choice but to give it to me. and Tonight, it starts all over again I will continue to steal the show each and every night then a year from now I will be standing here for the exact same reasons. But tonight is apparently a "special" night, So special I'm once again forced to step in that ring with Ted Dibiase, like I haven't beat him enough I once again have to beat him and win 1 Million Dollars..See a couple of years back, Ted DiBiase thought he was great, thought he  would be able to beat Dolph Ziggler, he put his 1 Million Dollars on the line and I did what I do best... I won. So Tonight, Ted DiBiase has a chance to win 1 Million Dollars! Except this time, it's not his 1 Million Dollars. Since his daddy disowned him, it's clear Ted doesn't even 1 Million Dollars to put in the line. So XWL Mangment stepped up, they put the 1million Dollars up for grabs... the only thing that won't change this time is the fact that I will once again be victorious.



[Dolph Ziggler]
And Austin Aries, I hope you're watching because this isn't just about me beating Ted DiBiase once again, it isn't about me winning a million dollars, it's about sending a message to you. Last week I was simply being smart, I wasn't going to let you get your hands on me. You don't even deserve to be in the same ring as me! Last week was the end if it Austin, I'm sick of wasting my time on a talentless nobody like you, I should be in the main event each and every week. I shouldn't be stuck in that ring with the likes of you, that's why I will never face you in that ring, I wouldn't give you the honour of wrestling me. Now Excuse me... I have a show to steal.


Dolph throws the microphone down on the ramp, and walks down into the ring. He removes his shirt and throws it to the outside, and awaits the arrival of Ted DiBiase.... but instead....



The lights in the arena go dark in an instant, causing some the members of the live audience in attendance to scream with a mocking tone in their voice, while others are genuinely confused as to why the lights would go out. Static appears on the titantron for a few moments before fading and a video begins to play. It shows a man with his back turned to the camera, wearing what appears to be a mask over head head, striking random notes on a piano, creating a somewhat eerie melody.

The camera cuts back to Ziggler for a moment, showing a mixture of annoyance and confusion on his face. The melody continues for a few more moments before abruptly coming to an end  when the unknown mans slams the final key. He removes his hand from the piano and looks over his shoulder, slowly turning around. Ziggler's expression is quickly changed to one of pure hatred, as he seems to know who the man under the mask is.



The masked man turns around on his chair and leans forward, locking eyes with Ziggler. After a heated staredown that seemed to have lasted all of a few seconds, the man raises his hand into the air and takes a hold of the mask, ripping it off of his head. But before his face could be revealed, static takes over the titantron, completely concealing the mans identity for another week.

With the static now gone, the lights return to their usual brightness, leaving a pissed off Ziggler standing alone in the ring. He's shown kicking the bottom rope out of anger before pacing back and forth.

The referee calls for the bell as Dolph Ziggler is declared the winner of the hard fought match against Ted DiBiase. He breaks his pins on Ted and instantly begins to rise to his feet, the referee grabbing his arm in the process and raising it into the air. Dolph goes to celebrate as Ted begins to use to ropes to get to his feet, feeling the effects of the match he just went through. Ted begins to exit the ring when he is stopped by an oh so familiar voice as none other than Edge appears on the titantron.

[Edge]
Hey there, loser. Maybe better luck next time?

Ted isn’t amused by Edge as he continues.

[Edge]
Listen Ted, after two weeks ago I felt kind of bad ditching you like that. I had some errands to run and it was either this or that, know what I mean? So look, I’m willing to make up for ditching you a while back. I’m currently in my locker room and I don’t plan on leaving, believe me if you wish.

Edge motions for the camera man to follow him to the center of the locker room, grabbing a chair in the process. He sets the chair down, making it so he could sit in it as he looks back towards the camera and begins to speak once again.

[Edge]
I’m just going to sit here, in this chair, and wait for you. I’ve been told you are pretty slow so I may just take a nap in the meantime, like I said, I have reliable blonde French sources. We all know how much you want a fight so I'll be here, and I'll be waiting.

Edge sits down in the chair as the screen fades to black, leading to Ted DiBiase instantly bolting out of the ring and up the ramp. We head back to Dolph who is standing in the ring, just finishing up his celebrating and is handed a microphone by a worker at ringside.



[Dolph Ziggler]
Not a single one of you believed me, when I said I'd be standing here with my hand raised high... but I did exactly what I said I would do. I backed up my word just like I so every single night I step in this ring, Ted DiBiase is no match for me and I've proved that time and time again. He's not even on my level and the fact that he has the Money In The Bank contract and I don't makes me sick, I should be the one in his position. I've proved once again that I am the greatest superstar in this business, but not only that....


Before Dolph can finish his sentence, he is taken out from behind...Austin Aries out of nowhere! With a forearm to the back of the head of Dolph Ziggler sending Ziggler crashing to the mat. Aries mount Dolph and throws some viscous shots, Aries is fired up! He drags Ziggler to his feet...BRAIN BUSTER! Aries stands over Ziggler and is about to lock in Last Chancery but then....





The none awful theme of Stephanie Mcmahon hits across the arena, Aries looks up the ramp in clear frustration. Steph walks out from behind the curtain with a microphone in her hand, and stops on top of the ramp

Stop this right now! This isn't how things are going to work in the new era of XWL. You two clearly have an issue with each other, and despite what Dolph says..he will step in the ring with you Austin. I'm going to give your chance for revenge the proper way, you can do it the XWL way. So at November to Remember it will be Austin Aries vs Dolph Ziggler!

A smirk comes across the face of Austin Aries, he nods his head in approval as the crowd also cheer in approval. Dolph Ziggler used that time to roll out of the ring and is now down on the outside, hearing the announcement doesn't look too pleased. The last image we see is Aries pointing down to Dolph on the outside.

Breakdown fades out to commercial

Following a commercial break, this very special edition of Breakdown returns to the sight of ring announcer Justin Roberts standing in the middle of the squared circle.  A graphic is displayed upon the titantron screen.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to present the Superstar Of The Year award!  Here to present the award, please welcome the General Manager Of Breakdown... Stephanie McMahon!

The cameras zoom in at the top of the stage where the awards podium has been set up.  Stephanie has changed into a classy black dress to present this very prestigious award and wears a proud grin on her face as she receives a decent crowd response.

[Michael Cole]
This is the most prestigious of the many Slammy Awards ladies and gentlemen.  Heart, dedication and pure talent is what's needed to be considered to be one of the very best this industry has to offer and the best Superstar of the past 12 months, and whoever is named Superstar Of The Year here tonight will be a role model for the entire locker room and those budding Superstars yet to make their presence felt in XWL.

Stephanie clears her throat before beginning to speak into the microphone.

Tonight it is my honour to present the 2013 Superstar Of The Year award.  This individual epitomizes everything that an XWL Superstar should be and this award recognises their achievements.  The nominees are:

A very loud roar of disapproval rises up from the XWL Universe as the name they least wanted to hear is announced as the winner of the Superstar Of The Year award.  Stephanie claps as Jericho appears wearing a smart suit with a smug look on his face, almost as if he is reveling in the hatred being directed at him.



[Jim Ross]
There we have it folks!  Chris Jericho is the Superstar Of The Year!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Can you believe this?  Just when I thought Jericho's head couldn't get any bigger, this happens!

[Michael Cole]
Nobody deserves the Superstar Of The Year award more than Chris Jericho, King.  Don't forget that Jericho has main evented more shows and has held the World Heavyweight Championship longer than anybody else this entire year!  Not to mention he's the 2013 King Of The Ring AND has only lost once since the year began.  Jericho has beaten the best of them throughout the year and  It would be a travesty if he didn't pick up this award.  So I for one am glad he's being shown the recognition he rightly deserves!

Jericho approaches Stephanie and shakes her hand while accepting the valuable accolade as the boos continue.



Stephanie leaves to allow Jericho to take center-stage and he takes his place at the podium to begin a speech.

First of all... no this isn't good enough.  I want all of you parasites to see this award.

Jericho picks up his Slammy and begins to make a beeline for the ring.  The crowd are chanting "You suck!" and booing the hell out of him as he begins making his way down the ramp.



[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
What is he doing?

[Michael Cole]
I think you need a hearing test King.  Jericho just said he wants everyone to be able to see his award, and what better place than right there in the middle of the ring!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Could Jericho be any more arrogant?



[Jim Ross]
I don't think the XWL Universe is taking too kindly to this.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Can you blame them?  Jericho is rubbing their noses in it!

Jericho grabs a microphone and continues where he left off.



[Chris Jericho]
First of all, I want each and every single one of you to look long and hard at me and this award.  While you continue to boo me and chastise me on a weekly basis, I am still able to overcome all of your negativity and hostility and deliver.  I have been named the Superstar Of The Year over your "heroes" and over very poor competition which make up the best this company has to offer.  And I just want to say how extremely ecstatic I am that none of you were able to cast votes to decide the winners of these awards tonight.  Because you are all nothing more than mindless sheep.  You are steered into whatever direction you are told to be in.  You are biased and you're easily influenced, and you do not have the capabilities to decide something like this fairly and you know it's true.



[Chris Jericho]
You lack the intelligence and the common sense to acknowledge true achievement and talent where it needs to be acknowledged.  I never would have won this award if you parasites had the power to vote, so for that I am thankful to the Board Of Directors for restricting voting to XWL Staff.  It's not very often that I am given what I rightfully deserve or recognized for being as great as I am but tonight is not one of those nights.  And the truth is, I knew I was going to be named the 2013 Superstar Of The Year because I am the best in the world today.  Nobody on the entire roster can hold a candle to me or what I have accomplished.

And now you will all sit there and listen to the list of accolades which I have accrued over the past 12 months.  I became World Heavyweight Champion not once, but twice, and I held onto that championship longer than anybody this entire year.  As a matter of fact I should still be holding that championship right now because I was robbed of it by Christian and I was screwed out of my rightful rematch.  But there's another time and there's another place to talk about that.  Tonight is about my achievements.  



[Chris Jericho]
Not only did I become World Heavyweight Champion twice this year, but I also defeated the best XWL has to offer to cement my standing as the best in the world when I was crowned as the King Of The Ring of 2013.  I finally attained the accolade that has evaded me throughout my long and illustrious career, and my incomparable legacy will forever be remembered now that I have accomplished everything that there is to accomplish.



[Chris Jericho]
And let's not forget that I have been undefeated for the whole of 2013 aside from one minor incident at The Monster's Bash.  I think that speaks for itself and even you hypocrites sat out there in the audience don't need that to be explained to you.  Nobody has had a year like I have and just like I told all of you way back in January... 2013 is my year... 2013 is the
Year Of Chris Jericho.

And I can't think of a better way, to round off 2013 than by once again declaring my intent to regain my World Heavyweight Championship and take back what is mine.  Right now, I am better than I have ever been.  I am in my prime.  If you think you've seen everything that I am capable of, believe me when I say this, you haven't seen anything yet.  2014 will be another year rife with success for Chris Jericho.  So you people can continue to martyr me and disrespect me every week, but there is nothing that you can do to change the fact that the remainder of 2013 and the new year 2014 will be more of the same.  That isn't a prediction, it's a fact.  
Do you understand what I am saying to you right now?

The boos reach unprecedented volume at this point and the "You Suck!" chants becoming deafening until Jericho speaks over them.

Suddenly the mood instantly changes when the theme song of Daniel Bryan hits! The fans jump to their feet with a big reaction as they begin the "YES!" chants as Daniel walks onto the stage looking pleased.



Jericho is shown with an unpleasant look on his face as he paces back and forth in the ring holding his Slammy. Daniel's music dies down as he waits on the stage and doesn't waste any time talking.



[Daniel Bryan]
Wow Chris, look at you, Superstar of the Year! That's a hell of an accomplishment right there, I've got to give you credit where it's due, you have had a hell of a 2013. You said it yourself, all of those title wins, everything! And you know what makes this even better? Now I can say that I made the Superstar of the Year for 2013 tuck his tail between his legs and walk off in a match because you were afraid.

The fans cheer at Daniel bringing up how Jericho didn't want to continue their Ultimate Submission match at The Monster Bash.



[Daniel Bryan]
That's right, I haven't forgotten about that and neither have these fans. We both know that I had you beat in the center of the ring, you were trapped in the Yes Lock with nowhere to go and if that clock had even two more seconds on it, you would've tapped out. I tried to get the match restarted so we could settle the score but the Superstar of the Year over here decided it'd be best to walk away from a fight and nurse his injuries! But don't worry Chris, I had a little talk with Vince McMahon himself, I went straight to the top to sort this out. At November To Remember we're settling this, there will only be one fall, there will be no time limit where you can just stop what you're doing and walk off. Next week at November to Remember it's going to be Chris Jericho vs Daniel Bryan!

Jericho is shown shouting in the ring furious at Daniel's interruption, Daniel just smirks and finally says.

And at November To Remember, Chris. I'm going to make sure you physically can't walk away from the match this time.





Daniel's theme song hits as the fans break out into more cheers at the blockbuster announcement for November To Remember. Jericho is still shocked in the ring as Daniel stares a hole right through him on the stage.

[Jim Ross]
Daniel Bryan is back and bah gawd he's back with a purpose!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
This is unbelievable, he crashed Jericho's party and dropped a bombshell on him, I can't wait to see these two go at it again!

[Michael Cole]
Excuse me? Do you not understand how RUDE that was of Daniel Bryan to interrupt Chris Jericho like that? He could've announced their match anytime during the night but nooo he had to ruin Chris Jericho's hard earned moment to do it!

[Jim Ross]
This may have been Chris Jericho's big moment, but will November To Remember be Daniel Bryan's moment? We're gonna have to see if the Superstar of the Year for 2013 can really live up to his name next week.

We fade away from this hectic scene to a video featuring the demented Wyatt Family.

Cameras return from a short commercial break and we are right backstage where Ted DiBiase is seen making a beeline to Edge’s locker room because if you missed it earlier, Edge offered Ted yet another fight if that is what he wants. Ted isn’t quite sure what to believe because after a few weeks ago when Edge did this same thing, Edge pretty much left Ted high and dry in the parking lot. But this couldn’t be a chance Ted could pass up, maybe Edge could actually be there this time. But maybe it could be an elaborated trap for Ted, but Ted doesn’t seem to think that far ahead of things, he just wants to get his hands on Edge for what has happened these past couple of weeks. Ted storms past some backstage workers; they are making sure they aren’t in his way as he continues his march towards the locker room. He turns a corner and begins to walk past many of locker rooms. Names such as Goldberg, Chris Jericho, Stone Cold ET, and others are doors that are just passed by Ted until he comes face to face with a door that has the “Edge” written on it at. Ted goes to open it but he holds his hand on the knob for a second before turning it and pulling the door open.

You’d expect for the locker room to be empty but to Ted’s surprise it was not and in the chair that was sat there was actually Edge. His back was turned and he had a hood up. It looked as if he actually did fall asleep because he hasn’t moved since Ted came in. With his back to Ted and Ted couldn’t help but use this to his advantage as he grabs a steel chair of his own and begins to slowly approach Edge. The look on Ted’s face pretty much explains it all. From weeks of being pestered, mocked, and put to hell and back by this man was about to be taken out with a swift of the chair. Ted gets near him and begins to lift the chair before swinging it and hitting Edge over the side of the head with the chair, sending him down and to the ground. It was actually a person there, not a dummy or anything, and this could be seen by the legs squirming and trying to get up but Ted isn’t having any of that as he lifts the chair up once more and swings it down, hitting Edge once more. Ted lifts it up again and again, throwing down shot after shot. He holds the chair to his side as he kneels down and shouts towards Edge “How does it feel!?” obviously getting the best of this situation as he raises the chair up once more and hits Edge yet again. Ted throws the chair to the side and rips the hood off of Edge to reveal no long blonde hair or anything. Not only that, but that wasn’t even Edge that was in the chair. It was Brett, Ted’s brother!

Edge had just led Ted into yet another trap of his but this time; he just got Ted to beat the living crap out of his own brother with a steel chair. Brett’s mouth was taped close so he couldn’t say a word and his hands were handcuffed so he couldn’t have protected himself. It was a good plan on Edge’s part but the only thing that came out of it was an enraged DiBiase. Ted grabs the duct tape and rips it from the mouth of Brett, helping him to his feet and sitting him down in the chair as Brett goes to speaks.

[Brett DiBiase]
Ted, my pocket. Check it.

He was in a good bit of pain after that attack and Ted knows this. Ted reaches into his left pocket to try to find what he is talking about but there is nothing their. Brett motions to his other one as Ted walks around him to check this pocket and this time he finds something. It is a note, a crumbled up note that was obviously written by Edge. On the same type of paper it was written on before when Ted tried to face Edge in the parking lot of the show. Ted unfolds it and begins to read the note.

Ted, I had Brett watch my locker room if you
don’t mind. Once again, I had some errands
that I just had to run. But don’t worry because
I talked to Stephanie and at November to
Remember, I’ll see you in a Street Fight. I mean,
if that is what you want. Brett told me some stories
about how you liked to do some tea parties but that
just wasn’t my style. So with that said.

Take Care, Edge

Ted crumbles the note back up and he isn’t sure what to think right now. Whether he should be mad because of the fact Edge got him to attack his own brother or should he be happy because he now has a match against Edge at November to Remember. Ted turned his attention back to Brett as he begins to get him to his feet and says “We need to get these handcuffs off you” as the two begin to exit the locker room. The scene ends as the camera begins to fade onto the note that was left by Edge before it begins to fade to a pitch black screen.

Ladies and gentlemen let me give a warm welcome at this time to present to you the winner of this years breakout superstar of the year award. None other than XWL's favourite commentator! Jerry 'the king' Lawler!

The crowd indeed do give a warm welcome as Jerry Lawler walks out from behind the curtain waving into the audience with the slammy in hand. He slowly makes his way to the podium where he stops for a second looking out at the thousands in attendance in front of him before clearing his throat and continuing.

But right now it's my job to present the award for the breakout superstar of the year! Now, not only is tonight a night of history because it marks the 5 year anniversary since the birth of this company but for the first time ever we have two winners for breakout superstar of the year!

As Jerry Lawler waves his hands up to get the crowd going they willingly comply as they cheer on the news that the votes were tied for a winner

This slammy award symbolises that a certain superstar, in our unique case tonight two superstars! That have really upped there game within the past year and have really made there mark on the company. Now without further ado I would like to present to you the nominations.

First up we have the current world heavyweight champion the Miz!

Kenny king everybody!

Next up we have the recently injured John Morrison who has already picked up a slammy already tonight!

Let's here it for Christian everyone!

Ex United States champion and current ersatz champion Alex Shelley!

The number one contender and former world heavyweight champion Alberto Del Rio!

And last but not least Dean Ambrose!

And the winners for this years breakout superstars of the year award will be shared between none other than your world heavyweight champion the Miz! And the number one contender Alberto Del Rio!

A huge cheers goes up for Del Rio as the opposite can be said for the Miz. There's no denying the expressions of surprise out in the audience as both superstars names were called.

Well first of all let me just point out how this award is said to be tied but I don't think that's quite the case. I believe this is a first come first served basis and seeing as I already knew that I would be the winner I was ready to come out when my name was shouted. I mean, I may of even thanked some people if anybody had helped me over this past year, you see, I've made it to the top on my own. I deserve this award more than Alberto Del Rio so the fact of the matter is I'm taking this slammy regardless of what he thinks. Goodnight.

Just as the Miz turns to walk away with the slammy a figure that soon becomes clear to be Alberto Del Rio steps in his way and takes the slammy away from him before pushing past in front of the podium.

I'm honored to have won this award, even in a tie it means the world that you fans have noticed my hard work and the turn around my career has taken. Years of struggling and being resentful are in the in the past and in the future is not only sweet payback but the World Heavyweight Championship. Miz, in this moment I'm choosing not to take your head off so we can celebrate our awards, INDIVIDUALLY, you get tonight to wrestle Steen, celebrate, and then prepare for me so your welcome.


Miz gets a scowl across his face as he stands back and watches the fans cheer Alberto to the back, just when the fans think the segment is over Miz walks up to the podium again.

Oh really? You honestly cheer for that? While you're world heavyweight champion stands right in front of you the REAL deserving winner of this award yet you show me nothing but disrespect. You see, I could talk about this for a while but quite frankly you just aren't worth my time. I won this slammy because I am the best at what I do, this on my shoulder is all the proof I need. Del Rio had one lucky month, that doesn't means he's broke out this year at all. I've busted my ass all year round and I deserve to be champion and I deserve to have this slammy alone! Not to share it with the likes of him. Now Del Rio, as much as you like to play the people pleaser I see right through you and I know you're only playing to the crowd because you're weak and you know that without their pitiful support you probably wouldn't even be making it on to PPV cards nevermind wasting my time in the ring. Now come next week the real breakout star will emerge when the victor walks out STILL champion whether you like it or not.

Jerry "The King" Lawler Oh boy JR, Matt Classic is finally back in an XWL arena!

Michael Cole: Oh, great this guy.

Jerry "The King" Lawler  It is great isn't it, Cole? I'm sure Marty DeRosa is going wild backstage, this man is a living legend. One of the most declarated men in wrestling history, according to himself, he just oozes charisma.

Michael Cole:  Are you kidding me? He's a drunk, and his XWL.com show? Give me a break.

Jim Ross: Classic sure is an interesting character, and you have to say, does he look great or what?

As Matt Classic stands at the podium his entrance music fades out as a small portion of the crowd applaud the mysterious masked man as he taps the top of the microphone with his finger before he starts to speak

Matt Classic: Is this thing even on? Where's Phil?

Not knowing where his very own camera man is, Classic starts shouting for him

Matt Classic: PHIL!

Classic starts looking around his immediate surroundings for Phil, however as he quickly gives up on his extensive search he turns his attention back to the microphone

Matt Classic: Ah, screw it, I can do this without Phil. I'm sure a lot of you are wondering why am I out here right now? Well you shouldn't be because that little kid down by the ring just told you why, but more importantly than that I'm here to talk about Matt Classic, and it's been far too long since you people got the truth from mastermind of Bangladeshi wrestling, the man who defeated The Great Power Mike, and man who made Muhammed Ali run away like a little bitch and that of course is me.

A small section of the crowd pop in remembrance of Matt Classic's totally real stories that definitely actually happened, as a skinny man walks out below Mr. Classic at the side of the stages who catches Classic's attention

Matt Classic: Phil? Where the hell have you been?

The man they call Phil starts talking much to the displeasure of Classic who's still talking via the microphone

Matt Classic: What are you talking about?

As Phil insists on his stance, Matt Classic starts to get angered at whatever he's being told which unfortunately isn't picked up by the cameras

Matt Classic: Why don't you just shut up, these people need to hear the truth.

Classic then turns back to the microphone, as Phil trying desperately to get Classic's attention

Matt Classic: Yes, they do care that Iron Sheik stole my shoes. Who wouldn't care? Have you seen those shoes? They're amazing. Revolutionary some might say, what do you know you idiot?

Classic then clips Phil around the ear knocking him to the floor, as Classic gets back to the task at hand

Matt Classic: So, apparently this isn't the time for a "shoot" whatever that's supposed to mean, so on to the award for the Upset of the Year. Which will be nominated to the superstar who deemed by the fans of XWL, as to who caused the biggest upset in the last twelve months, and the nominee's are...

As Matt Classic starts to read out the nominee's names a graphic appears on the screen for each of the Superstars and Diva

Matt Classic: Cody Rhodes winning the World title at Digital Decision... Do he wear Polka dots like his daddy did? I like polka dots, his dad though? Boy did he suck, and his kid can't be much better.

Nikki Bella beating Layla in the Queen of the Ring final... Women wrestling... that's a disgrace if I've ever heard of one, give me a break sweetheart. Actually that reminds me of a story.

As Phil continues to complain about the pain suffered at Classic's hands, he briefly turns his attention to Phil to put him in his place

Matt Classic: Oh, why don't you just shut up Phil, there's a reason you haven't had a job for over a year you know.

Classic then returns to read out the nominees

Matt Classic: Kenny King winning the United States championship, I guess he's from Jerry's first marriage.

Jerry "The King" Lawler He could be right, you know.

Matt Classic: Alberto Del Rio winning the Inferno match and Elimination Chamber in the same night... A Mexican? That's upset me already.

Dolph Ziggler winning the World title at Unforgiven, I like that kid, good use of hashtags.

And that dirty mark, Christian cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase to become champion against Chris Jericho. Boy if this isn't a stellar list of nominee's than I don't know what is.

Classic shakes his head in shame of the list he's just read out as he starts to open the envelope containing the name of the winner

Matt Classic: And finally the moment you've all been waiting for...

As he reads the name in the envelope, a sense of rage and hatred over comes Matt Classic directing his anger at Phil

Matt Classic: For the love of god, really Phil?! You know how much I hate these guys, they're filthy, they're lazy and they invented Tacos, and don't get me started on his Uncle! He stole from me, Phil!

As he notices Phil is nowhere to be sense, Classic slams the envelope on the podium as he angrily announcers the winner of the Upset of the Year Slammy

Matt Classic: And the winner is, Alberto Del Rio.





The fans pop as Alberto steps out from behind the curtains, just after finishing his match with Cabana
and passes Matt Classic who stares in distaste at Del Rio as they pass each other. Del Rio grins and takes his place at the podiom.

Besides winning the World Heavyweight Championship, Eye for an Eye was the single greatest night of my career and the fact that it's viewed award worthy is an even better honor. That night I sacrificed my all, my body and mind to avenge Ricardo and exorcise that demon which was symbolic of my past misdeeds. Then with myself cleansed I stepped into that chamber and simply survived. I didn't dominate, I didn't beat them definitively but I did survive and became the No. 1 contender and of course that turned into my first championship here in XWL.

{Alberto Del Rio}
Earlier, you saw Miz and I both win Breakout Star of the Year yet he decided I wasn't worthy? That I didn't deserve it, and that just adds to the reasons that I want to snap that arm of his, I gave him a pass earlier tonight but he spat on that pass. So tonight I plan on giving him a second pass, later on I will go to that ring and waive my "protection" by Stephanie McMahon so that you get your so desired opportunity to take me out. But to all my amigos! Thank you for this, for other slammy, and for the support you've shown for Alberto Del Rio. It does not go unnoticed, thank you.


Alberto backs from the podium holding the Slammy in the air as the fans cheer and steps to the back, thus ending the segment.

As we return from a commercial break we are brought backstage where we can see a steel chair smashing into a wall. The camera angle changes so that we can see none other than The Ryback lifting up a table with ease and throwing it into the wall as well.

I don't blame him after that tough loss to Antonio Cesaro earlier.

The Ryback looks around with a crazed look on his face, searching for something else to throw when Don West rushes in.

Hey! What is going on in here? Ryback, what are you doing? I understand that you need to let the frustration out, and believe me, I know sometimes you just gotta vent, but trust me, this isn’t the way to do it. Not here and definitely not now when there’s so much at stake. Not when this time next week you have to opportunity to be standing tall as the new and improved Intercontinental Champion. Why should you be upset about what happened earlier? Why should you care about losing to Antonio Cesaro? Tonight will go down as the greatest moment of his career, but there’s still so much left for you to accomplish and when you take a step in the right direction at November to Remember, what happened tonight won’t mean a thing.

Just then The Ryback is interrupted by Paul Heyman, who walks in with a smug look on his face, Curtis Axel close behind.

Did you miss me? You don't have to answer that, I'm sure you did. Last week I had a meeting to attend to during Breakdown, which was well, of much more importance than this show. You see, I met with a legend of this business, a man almost capable of selling as many tickets as my client Brock Lesnar. A man who might just put his wrestling boots back to wrestle Brock Lesnar at X-Treme X-Mas because after this Sunday we all know that Sangriento won't be an issue anymore. That's right, November to Remember is right around the corner, The Ryback's big title match is coming up, well, his second big title match that is, seeing as he already lost the first one! What makes you think that your client is capable of defeating Shawn Michaels? Do you know who he is? He's an Icon, he's almost on the same level as Brock Lesnar. The Ryback defeating HBK would be like, well, Sangriento defeating Brock Lesnar, impossible! Wha-

{{Don West}}
The only thing that’s impossible is your client, Brock Lesnar, growing a pair and standing face to face with Sangriento so that we can all see in living color that he’s not the big tough guy you swear on your life that he is. All you’ve been saying from day one is how Brock Lesnar is too good to show his face on Breakdown, but I think the real reason is that he’s too scared to step foot in the arena when he knows The West Side Army is lurking, and the only person he’d have to watch is pack is that man-child who will never truly know what perfection is! I’m glad that you two wizened up and figured out that it is true that Sangriento won’t be an issue after the pay per view. Why? Because he’ll be moving on to bigger and better things while the big, bad Lesnar continues being a bottom-feeder desperately hoping that the washed up wrestler he fights at X-treme X-mas doesn’t embarrass him half as much as Sangriento will this Sunday. The West Side Army is the cream the will rise to the top. Ryback will be a champion, Sangriento will be a champion, and all men like Brock Lesnar and Curtis Axel will be able to do is watch in awe.

Oh please. I’m hoping that you’re just saying all of that nonsense because you’re standing in front of your clients because I just can’t imagine that you’re stupid enough to believe a word you just said. Brock Lesnar only appears at Pay Per Views because that’s where the big money is. XWL throws bag-fulls of the stuff of men like Brock Lesnar because they know that people are willing to give an arm and a leg to see him destroy some poor schmuck in person. At the pre-show, Sangriento will be a dead man walking because he signed his death warrant the moment he thought he could lay a finger on Brock Lesnar and get away with it. I would say I’m sorry for your loss in advance, Don, but we both know that would be a lie. And I’m sure you’ll go and say that Sangriento will find some way to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds, but we both know that would be a lie too. See you this Sunday… you should probably start putting together another memorial service in advance.

Heyman condescendingly pats West on the shoulder before turning and walking away. For a brief moment, Axel hangs back and locks eyes with Ryback then chuckles before following his agent out of the room. Just before, Breakdown heads toward a quick commercial break, the camera gets a close-up of West who has never seemed angrier.

We returns from commercial break as the camer immediately cuts to the stage area.





Del Rio's theme hit but instead of smiles and excitement he stomps towards the empty ring in his suit and tie with a microphone in hand.

Earlier tonight we saw Miz get under Alberto's skin even more when they both were voted Co-Breakout Stars of the Year and Miz decided to taunt him.

I'm not denying Miz has talent, that he could've been a future World Champion....Heck, I'm not even saying he couldn't have beat Alberto fair and square in that match but he decided to take the easy way out and doesn't deserve that Slammy OR that title.

{Michael Cole}
Are you two kidding me? Miz deserves both and it's actually an insult he has to share the Slammy with a loser like Del Rio! Miz is the best World Champion we've ever had and I can't wait to see his long reign unfold.

{Jerry Lawler}
Oh brother.....


Del Rio slides into the ring, mic in hand, and starts speaking.





{Alberto Del Rio}
Miz....it's not just the title you took from me, that's not why I'm so disgusted at the notion of you beating me, culo. It's because of how you won it and what winning like that did to me, you spat in the face and stabbed the back of everything I've ever accomplished and that I had hoped to achieve in the future. Whether you knew it or not, pissed on the name of that title and what it is to be called champion! I worked myself to the limit, giving it everything I had to finally reach the top, then, one show after my glorious moment....it's all taken away from me because some punk who wishes his was a man decides he can't beat me. When you hit me with that low blow, it was the most painful thing I have ever felt. That includes my battles with The Rock and Kane and what I went through in that Elimination Chamber, because once you hit that and used the ropes I lost to a lesser man.





{Alberto Del Rio}
I lost to someone who is less than me because he was too scared to see if he could truly beat me! I'm not out here to say you suck and I'm better in this ring because I'm not sure of that answer, what I'm saying is you're lesser because I have the cajones to see if I can beat anyone in this ring each and every week, even see if I can beat each of your assassins while you desperately try and make sure I don't make it to our match with your goons for hire. So here's whats going to happen perra, you're going to walk yourself down to this ring and we're going to have ourselves an old fashioned fight!


The fans erupt as Alberto calls out Miz just a week before they face off against each other for the World Heavyweight Championship

And I'm going to throw my protection from Stephanie out the window, and we'll see who the better man really is! Come on, punto!


Alberto spikes the microphone into the mat and stares down the ramp yelling for Miz.





Still enraged, he starts to take off his suit jacket and scarf, tossing them to the outside. He also, unbuttons his shirt collar and and sleeves, rolling them up to prepare for the ensuing fight.

Business is about to pick up here folks! Del Rio isn't waiting till their match, he wants to get him some now!

{Michael Cole}
He can't do that and more importantly Miz isn't dumb enough too com-!

Well well well, it seems you are in fact as stupid as I thought you were. Here we are one week before we are set to face of in your rematch and you're calling me out willing to break the rule set by our general manager. Well you see, the thing is, I do have brains, whether you like to admit it or not I showed that when I won the title and took advantage of the situation I found myself in. Not only do I believe that your word would mean absolutely nothing against Stephanie McMahon's and I know for a fact that if I run in there and kick your ass for a second time I will have this title stripped from me for good. And I'm not about to that when in just one week I'll be meeting you in that ring having my arm raised as I successfully defend this title, something you failed to do on your first attempt.

Now I'm not sure if this is a really bad fail of an attempt to have me walk into some kind of trap you have in mind or if you genuinely cannot physically wait one more week to get your hands on me. Either way, we both know I'm not getting in that ring don't we. I have yet another main event I have to compete in again tonight and with this being the 5th year anniversary special my match is a no holds barred with Kevin Steen, so I'd like to be get that match over with as quickly as I can so I'm back at 100% for my title defence. I mean don't get me wrong, it's not that a feel if I come into the ring now I might get myself hurt, far from it to be honest. I actually feel that if I run down on into the ring now I'll end up giving myself an even bigger advantage next week because you'll still be feeling the pain come next month! So I'll let you rest so you can be 100% and then you won't have any reasons to be upset when you lose again now will you. So your excuse of me not beating you fairly won't be an option then will it.

But before I leave and go and get ready for my third main event in consecutive weeks Alberto I do have one thing I want to explain to you. I want to explain how I see the relationship we have. It reminds me a lot of that of the cat and the mouse. Me being the cat and you the mouse of course. And being the mouse you're forever running, running from the truth Alberto. The truth that you may of worked your but off to win this title but the harsh truth is you're just not good enough to keep ahold of it. Especially when there are predators like me lurking around every corner. You just can't seem to let it slide that you underestimated me just like every person in this god damn locker room did. Yet I've come out here with back to back victories since winning this title and I intend on doing the same tonight and the same next week against you! You see Alberto, the problem is the mouse may be quick, maybe even because it's so small it's able to outrun the cat by taking shortcuts into the small cracks in the wall. But it can't outrun the cat forever, the cat always catches it's prey. And in inevitable truth is that you can't avoid the truth much longer because next week is your wake up call. Your wake up call I the form of the most must see world heavyweight champion this company has ever the pleasure to lay eyes on. Next week Alberto I put an end to the fun and games and I get you off my back for good. But, just before I go, you did say you was rearing for a fight right? And I did say the fun and games don't end until we meet next week so, you know, I'll leave you two to it.


As the Miz smiles and drops his mic to the ground, Del Rio looks on in confusion as the Miz starts to taunt him by sarcastically waving before walking away, Del Rio doesn't seem to get what the Miz's point was and as he seemingly looks to go and chase down the Miz instead a huge crack is echo'd throughout the arena as Alex Riley sneaks up behind Del Rio and plants him with a hard chair shot that knocks him straight to the ground. Smirking down at the number one contender Alex Riley slowly lifts him up onto his shoulders and with a few seconds of adjustment quickly hits the A-Bomb onto the steel chair that's laying in the ring. Riley stands up with both arms raised as the crowd simultaneously begin to boo him.


{Jim Ross}
Oh come on! Just saying no isn't enough for Miz. He has to take the cowards way out. Del Rio gave him his window and he weaseled away from it and had Riley do the dirty work!

{Michael Cole}
Brilliant! Miz outsmarted him and now has an edge going into November to Remember!

{Jerry Lawler}
So you admit this is all his doing?

{Michael Cole}
No? Alex Riley is just so starved to impress The Miz that he took it upon himself to help him!

{Jim Ross}
Are you kidding me?!


Riley shoots a quick look at the ramp to where security are running down and quickly makes a run out of the ring and hops the barriers and begins to high tail through the audience as XWL fades out and cuts to a commercial.

As Breakdown continues Justin Roberts is introducing the presenter for the next Slammy award

Justin Roberts: And now, please welcome presenting the Slammy award for Newcomer of the Year, television legend Bob Barker!





Bob Barker: Thank you, thank you, thank you, for your kind welcome, and welcome back to XWL Breakdown the Slammy awards. Is everybody having a good time tonight?

Bob Barker: And right now, somebodies night is going to get that much better, while I don't have a Refrigerator to give somebody I do have this Slammy award for Newcomer of the year, and the nominee's are,

As Barker announces the nominee's a graphic for each superstar and diva is displayed on the screen

Madison Eagles!

When Eagles is announced the crowd start to boo

Roman Reigns!

With Roman Reigns mentioned the boos grow louder

Brad Maddox!

Then as Brad Maddox is mention the "smart fans" start to cheer, however a number of fans still boo

Stone Cold ET!

With ET shown on the screen the crowd pop undivided showing their clear favourite, Stone Cold ET!

Kenny King!

The crowd quickly return to booing with Kenny King brought up

And Amazing Red!

Then finally the boos continue with the final nominee Amazing Red is mentioned, before the cameras return to Bob Barker as he opens the envelope


Bob Barker: And the winner is...

Before Bob can announce the winner he's interrupted by a very familiar theme song



As ET walks out onto the stage the crowd cheer again for their favourite alien



Michael Cole: Oh you've got to be kidding me. Are you serious? This guy? You can't be...

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Stone Cold ET! Stone Cold ET! Come on, JR you know how it goes! It's the toughest SOB to ever crash land on this planet. He took the world by storm, and that included XWL earlier this year, and now he's got his rewarded.

Jim Ross: He certainly was a character, King, I've got to say he seems popular here tonight.

Jerry "The King" Lawler": How can't you love this guy.

Michael Cole: He's a damn alien. He's not even a wrestler, this is an outrage!



Stone Cold ET: Ohhh hell yeah! Stone Cold ET is back it the XWL! what? I said Stone Cold ET is back in the XWL, and that's the bottom line. What? See Stone Cold ET was sitting at home drinking a couple of beers, 1 beer, 2 beer, eating a couple of Whitecastles finest when he heard he had been nominated for a Slammy award! What?



Stone Cold ET: That's when Stone Cold ET decided to show up tonight in Breakdown, and accept this award and once again start to open up a can of whoop ass all over the XWL roster. So what Stone Cold ET is going to do, is he's going to walk down to the ring, then I'm going to take the first yellow bellied son of a bitch that walks down this aisle and I'm going to stomp a mudhole in him and walk it dry. And that's the bottom line. If you want to watch Stone Cold ET open up a can of whoop ass here tonight gimme a hell yeah!

As prompted the crowd shout Hell Yeah!

Stone Cold ET: What?

Again in response to ET and crowd shout Hell Yeah, this time a little louder!

One more time and louder than the last the crowd shout Hell Yeah for Stone Cold ET



Stone Cold ET: That's what I thought..

As ET comes to a brief pause Bob Barker interjects to break the news to him



Bob Barker: No, no, ET you didn't win.

Stone Cold ET:[/B] What?

Bob Barker: You didn't win the Slammy?

Stone Cold ET:[/B] What?

Bob Barker: You're not the newcomer of the year.

Stone Cold ET:[/B] If Stone Cold ET didn't win Newcomer of the year then who the hell did?

With ET and Barker staring each other down the actual winner of the Slammy award for Newcomer of the Year starts to blast through the arena



As Madison Eagles music starts to play she quickly runs out onto the stage attacking Stone Cold ET, knocking him dizzy with a high kick to his head, and following it up by throwing ET into the podium back first then Eagles begins choking ET with her foot pushed hard into his throat, squeezing the oxygen out of him for a few seconds. Then Madison lets the pressure off ET's throat she pulls out a fork and waits for ET to get up to his feet. As he eventually does so Madison lunges at him stabbing Stone Cold ET in the left shoulder with her fork, who's first instinct to to try to pull out the now embedded utensil and Eagles takes ET's lack of focus as a chance to hit him with another high kick to the side of the head knocking him down to the floor to the anger of the fans in attendance as Eagles walks over to the podium grabbing the Slammy is her hands as she starts to address the crowd as the boo viciously at her over her actions against Stone Cold ET



Madison Eagles: Did you see that? That's exactly what you get for taking what belongs to me, whether it's my Diva's title or this Slammy everyone will suffer the repercussions that's owed to them, I don't care if it's AJ, Layla, Torrie Wilson or Stone Cold ET, they'll all learn not to get in the way of the best thing around here. ET learnt that the hard way, just like Torrie will later tonight, and whoever walks out of November to Remember with my title will too.



Madison Eagles: I'd like to say I have somebody I'd like to thank, and seriously, there's only one person that is fitting of that, and it's ME! I am officially the newcomer of the year in XWL, and I should be much much more, and I did it with none of your help it was all about me! And that's just how I like it. In one short year I defeated the top Diva's this company has to offer, I won the Miss Money in the Bank ladder match at Final Stand and I successfully cashed in my briefcase and became champion. I was the first Diva to main event Breakdown and it won't be for the last time either. I did all of that in my first year, what did anybody else do? What did Stone Cold ET do? Nothing! He made a few stupid videos and he won you people over. I knocked a few people out and I won the title, which one would you rather be? Hint it's ME! So here's to me the newcomer of the year and the soon to be two time Diva's champion!
