*As always, Cody’s catchphrase draws more heat from the crowd here in Kansas City. Cody simply rolls his eyes and tilts his head, waiting for the crowd to quiet down. He gazes across the arena and once he’s satisfied with the noise level, he begins speaking again.*

Do you people know why I’m standing in this ring with a smirk on my face? In this company it’s not often that I actually have a reason to smile, a reason to care. But recently, I’ve just been feeling great and things are finally starting to look up for Cody Rhodes? Why? Because I freed myself, I liberated myself, hell - I SAVED myself.  I saved myself from each and every single one of you people. I was obsessed with the idea that I was going to be your savior, that I was going to be the one who brought this company and you people into the light. I wanted nothing more than to be the one you all could look up to. But now I realize I was just being naive, I was simply being sophomoric. You people are just quite frankly unsavable and no matter what I do, no matter what I try, you people will always worship your false idols and cling to them like a blanket on a cold winter night. So now, I have freed myself of caring about you people and now the only person I give a damn about is Cody Rhodes. I’m here to protect my own interests now, and there is nothing this company will be able to do to stop me from reclaiming my World Heavyweight Championship.

As for tonight, I have something a little different on my agenda. You see, I was wronged about a year and a half ago, and I’ve never gotten a chance to vindicate what happened to me.  If your minds are capable of remembering all the way back to early 2012, I competed against Edge in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match at Final Stand IV for the right to become the sole General Manager of Breakdown. And, as you might recall, I may not have been the one to win that particular match. Since then, I have never gotten the opportunity to step into the ring with Edge again, and that loss has been eating away at me ever since March 2012. I always knew that I was the better man, and I shouldn’t have lost on that night. You want proof? Look no further than X-Treme X-Mas 2011. Edge and I met in a No Disqualification Match, and I was the one who came out victorious. Look no further than Over the Limit 2012, where I defeated both Edge and Mick Foley in what was practically a handicap match. I know I can beat Edge, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do in this very ring tonight when we met up once again. Oh, and may I add it’s been a pleasure watching him and Ol’ Crybaby Ted kicking the crap out of each other again.

Anyway, enough about those two crazy lovebirds. How about we talk about the man you people all adore so much, your “People’s Champion” The Rock. Let’s talk about what I have done to your beloved hero over the past three weeks. Right after the Monster Bash, I made the first move  and I attacked the Rock, not only that, but I laid him out too. I put him down after the Cross Rhodes. Then, two weeks later he came after me, looking for a fight. He desperately tried to make it up to all of you people, he tried to redeem himself in all of your eyes. Ultimately, he failed and fell to me just like they all do, like all your heroes do. I knocked him out COLD with the Beautiful Disaster, and it took him a very long time to get back up on his feet. Last week the Rock foolishly picked another fight with me, and I squashed him like the annoying little gnat he really is. I left him laying unconscious on the ground for the third straight time in a row. I’ve got the Rock’s number!

And, if you want me to be honest, it feels good to hurt the Rock. Oh, it feels really good! *Cody cackles and throws his head back before regaining his composure.* Oh sure, it feels good for a couple of personal reason. Like because of how the Rock used me for a year straight and mocked me behind my back. How I stuck my neck out for him, and all he did was treat me like dirt in return. Because he’s just an arrogant, pompous, self-conceited wannabe movie star who tries to use this business and this company to try and make himself relevant. No, no, no. It feels good because he represents you people. It feels good, because when I see the Rock laying on the ground beneath me, I know your spirits are crushed. It feels so good because I am getting the satisfaction of revenge, and the satisfaction of hurting each and every single one of you sheep at the same time. And, to be honest, it feels pretty good because you people can do nothing about it. Clearly, the Rock himself can do nothing about it. I am going to take out the Rock, I am going to take out all of your other heroes, and I will burn this company to the ground!





*The Rock's theme blasts around the P.A and the crowd are on their feet, cheering and screaming for The Peoples champ! Cody turns to face the stage with a look of disgust as The Rock walks out as cheers errupt with a mic in hand. He paces up and down the stage awaiting the music to die down*

Now The Rock was just in the back sat down listening to Coach tell the world about his dancing and life down on the farm when I heard something in the distance. The Rock could hear his name being mentioned. Now The Rock just had to come out here and see just which jabroni is badmouthing The Rock on The Great One's show and out in front of the MILLIONS......(AND MILLIONS)...AND MILLIONS of The Great One's fans. And who do I see? Edge? Dolph Zigger? Chris Jericho? No! Just this two bit roody poo who is wearing too much makeup for his own good! Cody you come out here, you come out like you impress somebody and you like to run your mouth about all the things you've done to The Rock and how great Cody Rhodes is blah blah blah nobody cares we've heard it all before. The Rock knows that Cody Rhodes is the reason the toilets are backed up backstage! People told me Big Show went in just after the All you can eat Indian but I defended him and I told them no! Cody Rhodes is a man who's ass can't keep up with the amount of crap so he comes into the ring and lets it all just spill out of his mouth!

Cody you can go on and on about what you did to The Rock, you can take them accomplishments with you for the rest of your life but The Rock just tell you one thing, you can talk about how you saved yourself and you can talk about how amazing you are now but when The Rock finally gets his hands on you there is nothing that is going to save you from the asskicking you're going to get. For the last few weeks you've left me with nothing but a sore head, some bruises and a few hospital bills I didn't need! Now what I'm thinking right now is that The Rock needs to go down and pull your eyelids back over your head, stick my boot so far up your ass you're gonna' be running round that ring squealing more than Coach's pot bellied pig during dress up! Now as much as The Rock would resent going into the ring with a man who spends all of his free time doing his makeup or platting his boyfriends hair The Rock will make an exception for you.



The Rock
Let The Rock just tell you what is going to happen to Cody Rhodes the next time him and The Rock meet face to face. The Rock isn't gonna' play no nice guy. The Rock is tired of being the one getting screwed over so what The Rock is going to do is a few things. Number 1...The Rock is going to slap that makeup off your face and paint it all over The Great One's ring! 
Number 2...The Rock is gonna' do you a favour and give you a makeover. The Rock is going to stick your head so far up a clowns ass you'll have a complete makeover and look as stupid as you sound!. 
Then finally number 3...listen closely to this cause here is where it gets really good, The Rock is going to take you on a trip now, I can see you're excited! Now what The Rock is gonna' do is pick you up, and Rock Bottom you into that very mat like the piece of Chicken crap that you are! 

*Before he speaks again, Cody lets out a little laugh.*

Time after time, it’s always the same thing with you, Rock. For the past sixteen years you’ve been using the same old, tired shtick. You come out, play with eyebrows, insult whoever happens to be present in this ring, and you pander to all of these people. Don’t you ever get tired of it, Rock? You’ve never woken up, taken a look at yourself in the mirror and realized something needed to change? Because, I, Rock, finally woke up one month ago after I was forced to say I Quit. Ironically, I woke up when I knocked you out. You see, Rock, I had gone under a change and when I saw you laying out cold beneath my feet, I realized change was good. Oh, I realized changed was very good indeed! So maybe it’s time you wake up, but we all know that’s not going to happen. That is never going to happen. The fact is all you care about is making a quick buck with tired catchphrases and t-shirts, and these people buy into all that crap. And, quite frankly, I find that abhorrent. It disgusts me that they allow you to get away with everything you do, but I will take pleasure in watching you crawl.

And, you know what? I find it quite rich that you have the audacity to walk out onto that stage and promise to all these people that you are going to hurt me, that you are going slap me around, that you are going to strike me down with the Rock Bottom, but you’ve got nothing to back that up. Your words have no merit and you’ve got no ground to stand on, so you will fall, Rock. Me, on the other hand, I actually have the proof to back up my words. When I pick up this microphone, I don’t talk “crap” as you would say, instead I preach the truth. I teach the facts. The fact is I have laid you out three straight times in a row. You can grasp at straws all you want and try to pick apart the means I used to defeat you, but at the end of the day every time we have met thus far it has ended with you flat on your back. Your words mean nothing, but mine mean everything. They are the truth, and whether you, or these people, or XWL management like it or not they are REALITY. And if you really want to know what the reality is, Rock, it’s that you can’t beat me.

Just let The Rock get one thing clear, you think The Rock preaches the same old crap time and time again? You think that The Rock has reached the end of his little black book of jokes and now The Rock is beginning from the start again and just hoping nobody noticed?! Oh no, The Rock is never done telling people like you to bring your candy ass to The Great One's ring so The Rock can provide an ass whoopin' of a lifetime! Cody you may change but that's one thing The Rock dosen't want to do. Do you think The Rock gets tired of stepping out onto that stage each and every week and hearing "ROCKY...ROCKY...ROCKY...ROCKY"...

*Rock stops talking as a loud ROCKY chant begins from the crowd. He smiles and laughs to himself for a few moments as Cody looks at the crowd in disgust.

Cody The Rock is never tired of that. Each and every week is like a new experience and I just love being out in that ring and performing in front of everyone. The Rock's just a showman! He can't help that! Even after the show when you're sat applying makeup or waxing your legs or whatever you and Mike do, The Rock takes the party to the city! Side by side The Bhrama bull and The Rock take each city by storm! Do you really think The Rock get's tired of that? Hell that's like saying one day The Rock will get tired of pie! Cody let me be the first to say aswell I heard what you said, and I apologise. Cody Rhodes does not talk crap, I'm sorry. I was out of line....Buuuuut What you do talk is a great big pile of heapin' steamin' grade A monkey crap! Cody you want to talk to The Rock about how The Rock has never beat you well here is the challenge. October 20th, The Monster Bash. One on one The Rock vs Cody Rhodes. The Rock is tired of having to chase you or get hit from behind. If we're gonna' do this we're gonna' do this on one of the biggest shows of the year. You talk a big game and you keep going on about how confident you are so c'mon, going against little old Rocky shouldn't be a problem for someone as great as you should it?

Oh, I knew that was coming, you’re just too damn predictable, Rock. Is that what you really want? You really want to go ONE on ONE with THE DASHINGLY INSANE ONE? Hahaha… let me tell you something. You got it. For the first time ever at the Monster Bash it will be The Rock versus Cody Rhodes. Oh, this has been a long time coming. I have been waiting and waiting, just chomping at the bits until we finally met in this ring. I guess dreams do come true after all because I finally got you right where I want you, but unfortunately for you my dream is becoming a reality so that means your nightmare is too. If you were smart you would swallow your pride and walk away, to never show your face in this company or on my show ever again. But I’m smarter than that, hell even these people, your people, are smarter than that. We all know you don’t have the brains to match your brawns and you will step into this ring with me on Sunday, and it will be the very last time you ever do so. Just like me, the game has changed quite a bit, it’s not 1999 anymore, Rock. You are past your prime and I am going to run you out of this business.

The clock is ticking, Rock. At the Monster Bash, it will strike midnight and you will have no Cinderella ending. Not only am I going to beat you, but I am going to hurt you. I will destroy everybody who has wronged me and that all starts with you. You will not go down in the history books as one of the greatest of all time, you will go down as just another statistic. Just another victim... of Cody Rhodes. I guarantee you, Rock, things are going to change for you at the Monster Bash, and I don’t think you’ll be able to see it coming.



The Rock
The only thing that is going to be striking at The Monster Bash is the refs hand on the mat as he looks towards The Rock and The Rock watches as the referee counts, 1....2....3, and then The Great One's fans all rise out of their seats and the electricity in the air gets high. The Rock lets out a smile and looks down at you and leaves you in that ring nothing but a loser. Cody let The Rock tell you this, you can go on and on about how you're going to hurt The Rock and how I don't stand a chance and well I've only got one thing to say...Just bring it.



*Rock drops the mic as his music hits. Both men stare at each other tensly as the cameras zoom in on both superstars. The Rock holds out his hand and motions for Cody to 'Just bring it' to the excitement of the fans. Cody mouths "just wait..." The cameras fade out to the next segment of the show.

There are chairs everywhere.

They’re surrounding the ring, opened up inside of the squared circle, four perched precariously on each turnbuckle, and one chair stylized in red white and blue hanging from the ceiling. This elaborate set up can be an allusion to only one match, the upcoming clash at The Monster Bash between United States Champion, Alex Shelley, and his challenger, Kenny King.

For almost two months these two have been going at it, determined to prove that they’re the better man, superstar and ultimately, a batter champion, than the other. It was a conflict that was ignited when a frustrated Kenny King came out in front of the XWL Universe to air his grievances to the fans who had no choice but to sit there and listen to his every word. He upset over his loss to Eric Young, a man who King deemed a joke a waste of his time, energy and efforts. That win? Nothing more than a fluke. In King’s eyes Eric Young isn’t fit to lace his boots much less call himself a wrestler.

After the upset of the century, King wanted a chance to prove himself, he wanted to face the best that XWL had to offer… he wanted a shot at anyone, anyone involved with the World Heavyweight Championship in any capacity…. Instead he got Alex Shelley.

Always one to try and lighten the mood with his humor, Shelley attempted to inform King about his relevance, or lack of it thereof, while also letting him down lightly as far as his aspirations for challenging the World Champion were concerned.

King didn’t take to kindly to Shelley’s interference or his backhanded compliments, or sarcastic remarks, and being the kind-hearted, fighting champion that he is, Shelley offered King a shot at his coveted championship, feeling particularly bold and confident retaining against a long-time thorn in the side of The Motor City Machine Guns, The Miz, in what was a hard fought battle that was any man’s to win up until the final moments, where Shelley was able to put his challenger to rest.

The anticipated battle between the long time XWL fan-favorite and the up-and-coming brash new face on the block was slated for Eye for an Eye, and what a match it was. Constantly throughout the match, King kept Shelley on his toes with his impressive athleticism while the champ did what he does best and that’s utilize his impressive technical knowhow to keep the high-flyer grounded.

In the final moments of the match, King got desperate, or perhaps he saw an opportunity with the referee getting knocked out and decided to seize it. Regardless, there’s no debating it was King who brought the chair into play first, though in the end it was Shelley who landed the preemptive, and ultimately, fatal blow, which jumpstarted the string of events that led to Shelley retaining his belt.

King didn’t take too kindly to getting outsmarted at his own game, and immediately took his case to the higher-ups, showing them footage of the match and whether or not tears and begging was involved is something only known to those in the room. What we do know for sure is that King was granted his wish: a rematch against Shelley, this time with the use of chairs being legal.

That brings us to where we are now.



There’s a huge roar of support from the crowd when the theme of The Motor City Machine Guns blasts through the speakers, signaling the arrival of one man.



The noise only gets louder when Shelley arrives on the scene in the flesh. The love he’s getting from the crowd has put a huge smile on his face. Ever since that Xtreme Championship Match - where he took a nasty spill on from the top of the ladder through a flaming table, ironically at the hands of his best friend, Chris Sabin – Shelley has been on a mission to prove that he can be a top player in XWL.

Standing on the stage with the Ersatz Tag Championship wrapped snugly around his waist, and the United States Championship draped over his right shoulder, Shelley stares wide-eyed at the sea of the adoring thousands packed into the arena here tonight. He has shown them nothing but love and respect from day one, and tonight on the eve of what’ll undoubtedly go down as one of his toughest challenges to date, the people are returning the favor tenfold.

Shelley plants his right foot firmly on the ground as he stands to the side, then makes a gun with his hand, aiming right at the ring. He pulls the “trigger” and pyro explodes on both sides of him mimicking the sound of a gunshot that echoes within the arena. Shelley blows the invisible smoke off his finger, pausing there on the stage to soak in the adoration just a moment longer before finally making his way down the ramp.



The champion takes a moment to slap as many high-fives as he can, clearly in good spirits, despite a tough loss during the money-in-the-bank match last week. Shelley carefully steps around the chairs strewn about on the outside of the ring, as though he were superstitious and there was a myth that stepping on a steel chair would lead to copious amounts of bad luck, and he definitely can do without that right now, even if luck is for losers.

Walking up the stairs leads Shelley onto the apron, where he once again pauses to thank the fans then respectfully wipes his feet before using the bottom rope to propel himself into the ring. Shelley walks around the ring surveying the scene around him. Tonight, is the calm before the storm, the chairs may seem like harmless inanimate objects right now, but at the Monster’s Bash they’ll be used to inflict a whole heap of damage both on King and on Shelley, and for the winner all the pain and suffering will be worth it if it means being able to call yourself United States Champion when the dust settles.

Shelley leans out of the ring to retrieve a microphone, then toys with it in his hand as he paces back and forth in the ring. He raises it to his mouth to speak when suddenly so that he can shed a little light on why the ring is set up the way it is and his mindset heading into his championship match.

Thank you! Thank you… Now, it was a pretty close call last week, wasn’t it? Man, there were so many times when I was just this close to grabbing that briefcase and making it mine, and taking a step closer towards finally becoming a World Champion in this company, but I guess it wasn’t my night. Hey, maybe I used up all my ladder match mojo trying to retain against Kofi Kingston, way back when, huh? I guess those long sessions playing XWL ’13 with Chris didn’t prepare me as well for the hell that Money in the Bank ladder match would be as I thought. But it’s cool, because sure my plans to hold, count ‘em, three championships, were put on the shelf, but it’s only a temporary setback. Come on; is there really any doubt in your minds that sooner rather than later this handsome mug right here is going to be slapped on everything that has to do with XWL? I’m talking: video game box art, cereal boxes, posters, magazines, hell I already have my own t-shirt to go along with the Motor City Machine Gun merchandise and those are selling like hotcakes. And for that overwhelming support through thick and thin, I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, on behalf of Chris Sabin and myself, thank you and we love you all.

And it’s that support that makes me a feel a little guilty about not getting it done in that match, it’s hard not to feel like I let you all down, but hey, if not me, then that Ted fella’s not such a bad second option, right? I mean, he used to crack jokes, play monopoly, throw parties but it looks like somewhere along the line the poor guy just went and lost his smile. When you look at it, I guess he and Shawn Michaels have a little more in common than they’d care to admit. But it in the end, as far as Alex Shelley is concerned, it’s not about TDJ or HBK, it’s about how Christian and Alberto Del Rio can rest a little easier and sleep a little sounder at night now that they now me cashing in at any time or any place won’t be an issue for them. But that doesn’t mean that they’re futures will be completely Shelley free, oh no-no-no, in fact, being that close to having the sweet chance to send my career to the next level and make my stock skyrocket has only made me hungrier. I never stopped working hard, I never stopped pushing myself, I never stopped learning from each and every match I’ve had from my days as the Xtreme Champion to my days as the United States Champion, win or lose, rain or shine, there was always something, anything that could be improved on and tweaked and I found a way to make it right… but that doesn’t mean I won’t find a way to take things even further if that’s what has to be done to take things to the next level. Despite all of that, there is a silver lining in all of this: I am still your United States Champion and at The Monster Bash I’m going to come right down to this ring and finish what I started with Kenny King.

As it stands right now, I’m pretty much guaranteed to be your second-longest reigning United States Champion in this history of this company by the time the pay-per-view rolls around, even though it still feels like just yesterday I was dodging deadly rights and lefts from Wade Barrett who was willing to do everything in his power to keep his name engraved on that title. And I don’t know for sure if he fought so hard because he really wanted to be champion or he just really didn’t like me, though there’s nothing wrong with it being a mixture of the two, Barrett is a very emotionally complex person, but once you take the time to get to know him, I’m sure he’s a great guy. Regardless of his motivations, though, he put everything on the line to retain this title, and that just goes to show how much this championship means to the guys in the back, and you damn sure better believe that it means the world to me. This isn’t just some toy, and neither is the Ersatz Tag Title for that matter, but that’s a different argument for a different day. Men like Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston and The Miz, have pushed me to the limit and then beyond, they pushed themselves past 100% and it was all done in the name of being a champion, but I wasn’t going to just lie down and give them the title, they were going to have to work for it and one by one they realized that their best just wasn’t good enough.

Kenny King learned that same lesson the hard way at Eye for an Eye, and I’d like to think that he loved spending time with me in the ring so much that he just had to come back for seconds, and in a way it’s actually kind of flattering. On the other hand, Kenny King, is like that creepy ex-girlfriend you can’t shake no matter how many times you move to a new home or change your name. He just couldn’t accept that it was over, he couldn’t handle the fact that I was done with him and ready to move on the bigger and better things, no, he had to go kicking and screaming and crying and whining to the powers that be - who didn’t actually want to see him in another title match, they just wanted him gone so that they could finish their lunch - and now that something has finally gone his way, he thinks that things are going to be different the second time around. King, allow me to be the first to inform you is that the only thing that’s going to change is that it won’t be illegal for me to take one of the dozens of chairs surrounding the ring at The Monster Bash and break it over your body. Well, technically it wasn’t actually illegal at Eye for an Eye either because I didn’t get caught. The fact of the matter, King, is that…

Is that I'm better than you. We all know that, Alex. We all know, that as much as you love to hide behind your jokes and your wise cracks, underneath it all is a scared, lonely soul. You can come out here and you can preach to these fans all you want, but it in the end, you did in fact fail them. Just like you failed them at Eye for an Eye, and just like you're going to fail them come The Monster Bash. You lost the one chance you'll ever have to become semi relevant. You saw that case hanging above the ring last week, and you had SO many opportunity's to grab it. But like the pathetic, nobody that you are, you let it slip away. Man, I know that if it were me. . . That briefcase would be in my hands right now. You see, I don't make empty promises to my fans, I don't tell them I'm going to do something then not do it. I'm a man of my word, Shelley. That's why in just a weeks time, I'm going to beat you for that United States Championship. Because on my word, I've made a promise. Not just to these fans, but to you and to everyone else in the backstage area. I am going to beat you, one way or another. And when it does happen, you'll have no choice but to tuck your tail between your legs and limp out, like the dog that you are.

Now you say that I learned the "hard way" at Eye for an Eye. But in my eyes Alex, it was you that learned the hard way. You learned that you can't get away with bending and breaking the rules. Sure, you picked a win and defended your United States Championship, but only for another month. You see, I don't back down easily, as you've seen in the past weeks. I'm not going down on a fluke victory. I had that match won, but you, against your own morals and against the wishes of your fans, the same fans who claim to love, bashed me over the head with an illegal chair to pick up the win. So you're damn straight that I took my complaint straight to Hulk Hogan and Vicky Guerrero. And they saw that one of their own champions, a man who is meant to represent this company, took the easy way out. So when I asked them for a rematch they gladly agreed. And on top of that, they gave me the power to choose what match we'd be having. A chairs match. And I can see that you love the idea, these are some. . . Nice decorations you got here. I wonder what they'll look like when they're bashed in over your skull. When they're bent and broken around your bones. I guess I won't have to wait too long to find that out. . .

I told you last week that this may not be personal for you, Alex, but it's damn personal for me. You stole my spotlight, the spotlight that I worked hard to get. I was so close to winning our match, SO CLOSE! But instead of taking your inevitable loss like a man, you showed your true colors and decided to cheat to win. That chair that I brought into the ring, I wasn't going to hit you with it! I was testing you! I was showing these fans just who they're actually cheering for. A coward, a wimp, the kind of man that doesn't deserve to wear championship gold around his waist. That's right, you're a phony, Alex. And you know it. I've said it before and I'll say it ten more times. I'll say with my last breath, because you just can't seem to get it through your thick skull! But hopefully, come this Sunday when I hit you over the head with one these bad boys it'll knock something loose up there and you'll finally be able to grasp just how much of a loser you actually are!

Kenny lowers his mic and stares into Alex's eyes, showing no emotion. The two remain silent for a few moments, before Alex takes a deep breath and raises his mic.

You want to compare me to a dog, King? Well then I guess it’s safe to say that I’m the pit-bull to your poodle. Unless you want to steer the conversation over to video games, in which case it could be argued that I’m the Xbox to your Atari. Though if music’s more your thing, I think we could both agree that I’m The Beastie Boys to your Justin Bieber. But if it’s wrestling you want to talk, I don’t think there’s any denying that I’m the Alex Shelley to your Kenny King. You see, for me to believe you would have done better than me in that money in the bank match, I’d have to first believe that you’d be good enough to be allowed into the match in the first place, and that’s a bit of a stretch. You weren’t good enough to beat Eric Young, you choked at Eye for an Eye, yet somehow you still believe that you’ll be able to get the job done in a few days’ time. Luck hasn’t done you any favor’s this far, King, yet with you standing so uncomfortably close to me, I can see it in your eyes that you’re desperately hoping that the third pay-per-view will be the charm. A word of advice? If you’re depending on luck to get you by in this business, then you’re not going to get too far. I can already spot a few holes in your game plan; you can go right on ahead and bash in my skull and break every bone in my body… but that still won’t guarantee you a victory.

Oh, but you're wrong, Alex. It WILL guarantee me the victory. Because after I get finished breaking both of your legs and snapping your arm in to, and you're being carried away by the medical team, it'll be I, Kenny King, with the United States Championship around my waste. And as you slowly begin to fade away, I'll wave you goodbye, smiling the entire time. These aren't threats, these aren't empty promises, no, this is the truth. And, to quote a crazy man, the truth. . . Shall set you free!

Kenny lowers his mic, cracking a half smile as the fans boo all around him. Shelley nods his head, letting out a deep breath. King backs up another step, shrugging as he stares down his Monster Bash opponent.

The only free you’ll know is the free agency because, I don’t think you quite understand, but by the time we’re through that’ll be the only place you belong. You can predict greatness for yourself until the cows come home, but until the day you can overcome your handicap and walk the walk, nobody but Mama King will give a damn about you and I’m sure by now after years of disappointment, even she’s looking for another bandwagon to hop on. Who are we kidding, I’m sure right now she’s sitting at home, cheering her heart out with an Alex Shelley shirt on because she knows that you’ve started a war you’re not equipped to win. Allow me to quote an even crazier man: “To be the man, you’ve got to beat the man.” And Kenny, there’s only one man you’ve been able to beat consistently, and I’m sorry but that experience won’t help you at The Monster Bash. See you this Sunday.

Shelley sympathetically pats King on the shoulder, perhaps trying to ease the pain of what the champ feels is an inevitable loss. With the crowd on their feet, chanting his name, Shelley turns and makes his way out of the ring. With one foot through the ropes, Shelley is suddenly attacked by King who throws his body into the champion sending him flying off the apron and onto one of the chairs strewn on the floor outside.

Almost immediately upon the moment of impact the mood in the arena turns sours, a change that has gone completely unnoticed by King who stares outside of the ring with an intense glare fixed upon his face as he watches Shelley writhe in pain on the outside of the ring.

King grabs one of the chairs that were set up inside of the ring, and now the object may very well find itself being used as a weapon instead of decoration. King gets out of the ring and slowly approaches Shelley who suddenly explodes forward with a burst of energy plowing King into the ring apron. The chair flies out of King’s hand but he has to worry out Shelley who’s unleashing a rapid-fire series of stiff right hands onto the forehead of his challenger.

Desperate, King puts his hands in Shelley’s face and damn near gouges out his eyeballs. Shelley staggers backwards holding up his hands to protect himself, but King has no intentions of going for the face. He grabs the chair he dropped and rams it into Shelley’s gut dropping him to his knees, then King raises his arms into the air ready to deliver the fatal blow. Shelley lunges forward and drives his skull into his gut. Quickly rising to his feet, Shelley takes King by the head and slams his face against the apron.

With the momentum now in his favor and the crowd firmly behind him, Shelley takes King by the arm and shoots him over to the steel steps. In a show of athleticism, King steps off the top of the stairs transitioning into a moonsault, only to get caught by Shelley who then races over to the ring post with the intentions of launching King face-first into it. His plans are thwarted when King wiggles of his shoulders, dropping down behind him then tries to catch Shelley off-guard with a push into the post, though Shelley thinks quickly, grabbing the pole with one hand causing him to quickly change directions and he rolls under the ring.

King doesn’t hesitate to follow him inside and the two men trade vicious rights and lefts as they simultaneously rise to their feet. King goes for the eyes again but the Detroit native sees this one coming and stomps on Kings foot. While King hops around, Shelley reaches for one of the plethora of chairs and whacks King on the side of the leg of the leg with it. Shelley shouts that he wish he didn’t have to do this and takes aim at King’s leg again only this time he misses as King leaps into the air and nails him with an enzuigir. Shelley’s stunned on his feet making him vulnerable for King’s next offensive maneuver which is a suplex and Shelley lands again on one of the chairs.

King signals his finishing maneuver, and hoists Shelley onto his shoulders, ready to slam him down with all his might with The Coronation, or so he thought because Shelley repeatedly elbows King on the side of the head until he’s released from the jaws of death. Shelley grabs King from behind and drops him head first onto the chair with a tiger suplex! King rolls onto his feet clearly dazed, yet still has the wherewithal to go charging at Shelley with a head full of steam, but his grogginess from that fall onto the chair has affected him more than he let on and Shelley’s easily able to sidestep him and throw him over the top rope.

King lands on the apron feet-first like a cat, while Shelley thinks he’s in the clear. King bounces on his feet ready to take to the sky and springboards off the top rope looking for the blockbuster...

Crack!

Shelley whacks him over the head with a chair! King collapses to the mat in a heap and so does Shelley. In contrast everybody on the arena is on their feet cheering their heads off. They start up yet another chant of Shelley’s name willing the United States Champion to his feet. Shelley’s taking a beating, but shot to King has changed everything and now is Shelley’s chance to send a message to his opponent heading into their huge pay per view battle.

Slowly raising to his feet his Shelley to looks down at King who has a trickle of blood sliding down his forehead before dragging him near the middle of the ring. Shelley places one chair and then another, and then a third onto King then makes his way over to the corner. After a long climb to the top, Shelley takes a little longer than usual and that allows King to knock the chairs off of him and quickly roll out of the ring to safety to the dismay of the crowd.

King walks backwards up the ramp locking eyes with Shelley while shouting that he’s going to get the last laugh at The Monster Bash. He places his hand on forehead to confirm that he’s bleeding and the jeers from the crowd isn’t making his situation any more bearable. After telling the people to shut up, King turns back to look at the ring and sees that Shelley has hopped down from the top and now stands in front of the ropes with his United States Championship raised high in the air.

Eve’s in firm control of the match now and the crowd boos as she walks over to Layla’s fallen body and starts popping her booty.













Eve’s eyes widen horror as a theme she had never hoped to hear again fills her ear drums. She walks over to the ropes facing the stage and puts on a tough face before beckoning for Kharma to make her way out to the ring so that they can finish what they started at Eye for an Eye. Suddenly Layla grabs her from behind in a set up for her devastating hangman’s neckbreaker then drops her with a vicious Layout! She crawls onto Eve’s motionless body and makes out with her seductively as the Ref counts the pin fall.

When her theme hits, Layla gleefully leaps into the air and Kailtyn gets into the ring afterwards and the two women lock eyes. They’ve been through so much, but they’ve arrived at a place where they can unconditionally trust each other. Kaitlyn runs a hand through Layla’s hair and says that she’s starting to feel things for Layla that she hasn’t felt since AJ was in your life. Layla replies that there’s been a hole in her heart and her bed since LayCool disbanded.

Layla wraps her arms around Kaitlyn’s waist and says with tears in her eyes that it’s such a relief to be able to love again and without warning Kaitlyn pulls Layla towards her in a passionate embrace. The crowd doesn’t know what to do, and Maria who was about to go for a sneak attack faints and the ref drags her out of the ring and then under it, disappearing behind the apron.

Still in the middle of expressing their once repressed, now newfound feelings for each other, Kaitlyn and Layla can’t seem to let of each other and security rushed down the ring to break things up. Disgusted the crowd chants: “Let them kiss!” but the guards have seen enough and it takes everything they have but they’re able to subdue the two women.

There’s suddenly a scream as a half-naked Maria tries to crawl out from under the ring but she’s quickly pulled back under and not another sound is heard from her. One of the guards knocks Layla out cold with a nightstick and the bristish bombshell collapses to the ground. Teary-eyed Kaitlyn breaks free from the grasps of the five guards holding her and tries to make her way to her lovers arms but a tazer to the thigh knocks her out cold as well.

The boos are deafening as the public display of affecting was prematurely ended and the guards handcuff the two men and drag them up the ramp and backstage. Eve is all that’s left in the ring and she has still yet to move. The crowd has fallen silent out of fear because as much as they may hate her they have never wished death on the woman. They begin to chant her name, it’s quiet as a whisper at first then explodes into a full blown scream as they try to will the diva back to life with their words, but it all seems hopeless.



Undertaker’s gong silences the crowd once more and in an instant the lights go out. When the come back on the entire ring is gone and the last thing we see before Breakdown heads to a commercial break is Maria fending off the referee and hornswaggle.

The camera opens up to an interview set with Alberto Del Rio presently seated and awaiting the questions he'll be presented with.

{Interviewer}
We are one week away from your first title match since losing to Rob Van Dam one year and one month ago at, ironically, Eye for an Eye in the finals of the U.S. Title tournament. How is your mindset different now than in your previous failed attempts?



{Alberto Del Rio}
I'm clear headed mostly, my first run of World Title opportunities was clouded by my pure hatred for The Rock, I was only focused on destroying him, on taking him out and it cost my the World title. With RVD, I was too overconfident, I had just formed an alliance of sorts and thought there was no way he could win....until he pinned me. Now? I only care about winning that championship and bringing honor to my family's name, yes things have been getting heated between myself and Christian but I cleared my head with that super kick, after that it was a release and I've been clear minded ever since.

{Interviewer}
What about last week? You said you were going to love beating Christian for the title?



{Alberto Del Rio}
I never said that in my clarity that I won't enjoy making him submit or knocking him out but it's of secondary importance. Christian has turned this thing into how he had to scrap and claw to get here and how I waltzed on in and I respect his struggle to reach the top, but I haven't had it much easier. I have a certain prestige to live up too, something I have been grasping at but failing to reach it. My family is the pinnacle of Mexican wrestling, our bloodline is the foundation of it, but here in XWL I'm the first of my family to blaze these trails and it's been a rough journey but that will end come The Monster's Bash.

{Interviewer}
Awesome. On to tonight, who do you think you'll be facing and how well do you think you'll do against them?



{Alberto Del Rio}
I'll win. Doesn't matter who or what Christian throws at me tonight, I will overcome it and walk in to the pay per view with full momentum backing me. I know for a fact that he can't pick someone as good as I have picked for him, it's someone I respect to the absolute highest degree although we never have gotten along and I know he'll give Christian a run for his money tonight.

{Interviewer}
If you win at The Monster's Bash, besides Christian, who would you like your first title defense to be against?



{Alberto Del Rio}
Fácil. Ted DiBiase.

{Interviewer}
Easy? Why him?

{Alberto Del Rio}
Si. We have some unfinished business after last time, he beat me and it's time for some payback. After I win this title I look forward to when he decides to cash in that briefcase because I'll get to show him what Alberto Del Rio can really do.

{Interviewer}
Well thank you for your time Alberto, and good luck tonight and at the big show!

XWL's Breakdown carries on from the previous segment and we see a determined Intercontinental Championship, John Morrison, as he exercises on a production truck. Morrison continues to do pull ups as the camera records him and he counts out each rep. Lately he's been off his game and even though he's not scheduled for action tonight, he's still looking to get back on top of his game.



Morrison does 10 more pull ups before dropping down to the ground and lifting his head and the cameraman closes in on the champion's serious facial expression, you can tell that he means business tonight...



John Morrison raises up for the ground and begins walking. It looks as if he's heading to the General Manager's office to talk to Hulk Hogan due to Corey Graves being taken out earlier in the night. John Morrison makes a right and stops right in front of a door marked "GM Office". Right as he gets ready to knock...

Roman Reigns causally walk into the shot. John Morrison gains a scowl, not knowing what Roman's intentions are. As John Morrison stares down the very man that attacked his opponent for The Monster Bash, Roman begins to speak.

[Roman Reigns]
You know John... if I didn't know any better, it looked as if you were about to go into Hulk Hogan's office. Surely you were just going in there to wish Hulk Hogan congratulations on such a great job he's been doing... or maybe... just maybe, you were going to go into his office to complain. To complain about what I did to Corey Graves earlier tonight. John, you're a smart man. Hell, even a child could figure out that it wouldn't be in your best interest to complain.

Roman takes a step closer, trying to intimidate the Intercontinental Champion.

[John Morrison]
If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're trying to intimidate me and it's not working by the way... so maybe you'd like to take a couple of steps back... wouldn't want to hurt you. I'm not here to complain about Corey Graves but I also didn't come here to talk to you so if you don't mind... can you step aside so that I could talk to Hulk?

Roman quickly puts his arm between John Morrison and Hulk Hogan's door, blocking Morrison from entering.

[Roman Reigns]
What's the hurry? Hulk will be in there all night. If there is one thing I don't like, it's people who complain. John, I don't know if you know who my dad is. He was wrestled back in the days in a legendary tag team called 'The Wild Samoans'. Back in his day, there was no such thing as complaining. Back in his day, if you had a problem, you used your fists to make your point. Instead of all this verbal politicking crap today... then, you used physicality to send those who disrespect you a message. John, right now... I feel pretty disrespected by your attitude.

John Morrison rolls his eyes, clearly annoyed with Roman Reigns antics. He grabs Reigns hands and pushes it down but Reigns puts it back up.

[John Morrison]
I know who your dad is, a great wrestler, a great tag-team competitor too, don't need the history lesson, I've been watching your father before you were even born. Now, I'm not so sure why you're blocking me from talking to Hulk, it's not like it concerns you, you don't even know what I need to talk to him about. But while you're here, I'd like to tell to your face that it was very cowardly of you to attack Corey unexpectedly, you would think that you would "make your point" face-to-face like a real man but I guess not.

[Roman Reigns]
Listen boy... when you're the Alpha-Male of XWL, you can do whatever you damn please. When you're the Alpha-Male of XWL, you are above the law here in this company. I attacked Corey Graves, because he needed to learn a lesson. The lesson that he should try to take my spotlight. If it were up to me, this show would be called, "Roman Reigns' Breakdown". I like the sound of that. My face would be on everything. From the ring to the T-shirts those sheep fans wear. Everything. Right now John, you're in my spotlight. So I'm only going to give you this one time opportunity to spare yourself from a beating so bad, your momma will feel it.

Using the same arm he blocked the door with, Roman points to the direction opposite of where John Morrison's facing.

[Roman Reigns]
Leave.

John Morrison looks at Roman Reigns with an unpleasant look and pushes Reign's hand down with his hand.

[John Morrison]
When you're the so-called Alpha Male, you don't let your partners make quick work of you like Dean Ambrose did. Don't think anyone has forgotten about The Shield disbanding, we all remember. If you think you're gonna give me a beating so bad like you did to Dean Ambrose, I suggest you reconsider that considering that I've beaten Dean Ambrose a couple of times now.

Morrison gestures for Roman Reigns to step aside but Roman Reigns doesn't budge a bit. Morrison goes to open the door of Hulk Hogan's office but Roman slap his hand down yet again...

[John Morrison]
Let's not be stubborn now, just step aside and move along, you go attack some more people from behind while I sit down and talk to Hulk. Fair?

Suddenly, John Morrison is grabbed by the neck. Roman slams him against the wall in anger.

[Roman Reigns]
You have just made the worst mistake of your life! The Shield is in the past! I am a new man! I am a man that could pop your head like a pimple! Dean Ambrose is dead to me! Seth Rollins is dead to me! I am the lone wolf! I am the Alpha-...

The General Manager's office door quickly swings open, slamming into the wall. The Hulkster himself steps out of the room. He doesn't look too happy about what is going on outside his door.

[Hulk Hogan]
Stop all this ruckus brothers. What's going on out here? It seems like you two gentlemen are having a little problem out here and it looks like it needs a lot of solving. First of all, Reigns, come on brother, take your hands of off John, let's be professional. I know we just had a great conversation a while ago, don't ruin it for yourself.

Roman quickly lets go of John Morrison. Roman puts a smile on his face a turns toward Hulk Hogan.

[Roman Reigns]
It's not what it looks like Mr. Hogan, sir. I was just giving John a few... tips. Tips to make him a better wrestler. I mean... have you watched his last match? He looked terrible. All that yelling, was me trying to teach John how to be more charismatic. Lord knows he needs it.

Hogan gives Roman a look that lets Roman know he doesn't believe one bit of his story.

[Hulk Hogan]
You expect me to believe you brother? I wasn't born twenty minutes ago jack. Right before I opened the door, I picked up a couple of words. Something about John making the worst mistake of his life? Seems like you two dudes got a lot of hostility built up between you.

[John Morrison]
Honestly Hulk, I just came to talk to you but tough guy here was standing in my way as if he's some bouncer for your office. Someone... I'm not going to say any names took Graves out and now with the PPV in a couple of days... I'm wondering what's going on.

[Hulk Hogan]
I actually wanted to talk to you about that brother. With Graves out of the picture, I obviously had to search high and low for some new competition. I was looking for young blood, someone's who has been standing out lately and his name is...

[John Morrison]
I'll take a wild guess... 

[Roman Reigns]
Roman Reigns. Haha... Johnny-boy, Hulk picked me for the simple fact that I'm not only better than you, but better than the entire XWL Roster. Unlike you or the idiot fans, Hulk sees that I am the future of XWL. That I am the future of professional wrestling as a whole. Hulk knows that I will not only be a big star, but he knows I'll be a bigger star than he ever...

Roman is interrupted by Hogan.

[Hulk Hogan]
Hold on there brother, let's not get ahead ourselves and be too cocky. I chose you because you've been impressive lately, jack. You still have a lot to prove before I dub you "the future of XWL", keep it up and maybe brother, just maybe you'll earn that title.

[Roman Reigns]
Yeah, Yeah. Whatever you say, old man.

Roman steps toward Morrison and gets in his face.

[Roman Reigns]
If you thought that me slamming you against that wall was bad, you're going to have a rude awakening come The Monster Bash. I am going to take you, put you on the mat, then stomp you until you are nothing more than a pool of blood and broken pieces of bo...

Hogan interrupts Roman for a second time.

[Hulk Hogan]
That's enough. If I were you, I'd get to stepping, jack. Unless you want me to reconsider my decision...

Roman turns toward Morrison.

[Roman Reigns]
I'll see you at The Monster Bash.

Roman walks out of the shot, leaving John Morrison and Hulk Hogan standing there.

[John Morrison]
Really Hulk? I won't deny that Reigns hasn't been impressive but taking out the number one contender earns him a title shot? If that's the case, maybe I should take Alberto Del Rio out, will I get a World Heavyweight Championship? Yes? No? I guess we'll just figure out. And you wonder why you're under review...

[Hulk Hogan]
Brother... I...

Before Hulk Hogan can even finish speaking, John Morrison walks off the scene, leaving Hogan speechless. The camera focuses on Hulk's facial expression before fading to the next segment.

We return from a commerical break where a picture is shown on screen as the commentators talk over it.



[Jim Ross] Folks, if you head over to XWL.com right now you'll see a huge announcement on the front page. That huge announcement is that former World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho is going to be facing Daniel Bryan in an Ultimate Submission match!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] I can't believe it! These men have been at eachothers throats for weeks now, Daniel Bryan made Chris Jericho tap, Chris Jericho made Daniel Bryan tap. Now we really get to see who the true ultimate submission artist is in XWL at The Monster Bash!

[Michael Cole] These two men had a singles match made a couple of weeks ago but now the stakes have been raised, Daniel Bryan and Chris Jericho are in for the fight of their lives. This could be a career defining moment for Daniel Bryan or it could be yet another notch on the record of Chris Jericho.

[Jim Ross] You can say that again, the man who comes out top on this match will really have an incredible amount of momentum. And as you see in that article the decision was marked "best for business" and that's for damn sure, I can't wait to see what Daniel and Chris have to say about this change.



[Jerry "The King" Lawler] And it looks like we're not gonna have to wait any longer!  The Highlight Reel is set up and here we go!  Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan come face to face right now!

Right on cue, Chris Jericho appears at the top of the ramp and begins his descent towards the entrance ramp.  He wears a confident expression as he edges ever closer to the ring where the set of The Highlight Reel has been erected.  The fans hurl a volley of abuse at Jericho as makes his entrance.

[Jim Ross]  Say what you will about Chris Jericho, but that man right there is no doubt one of the best that there is today.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]  If you asked, Jericho, he would say that he is the best.  

[Michael Cole]  It's hard to argue with the facts.  Chris Jericho has been pinned once this entire year and has held the World Heavyweight Championship on two occasions this year.

[Jim Ross]  His attitude could use some work, but there's no denying how talented the young man from Winnipeg, Manitoba is.



[Jerry "The King" Lawler]  I wouldn't exactly call Jericho young, JR.  Young in relation to us maybe, but Jericho is one of the most experience members of the XWL roster.  That's nothing against Jericho at all, as he can clearly still go with the best of them.

[Michael Cole]  You have to wonder if Daniel Bryan truly realises what he has gotten himself into by agreeing to the match with Jericho at The Monster Bash.  On one hand you have a virtual nobody in XWL, and the other, one of the most decorated superstars in this company's history!

[Jim Ross]  I'm sure Bryan won't let that faze him.  Daniel Bryan is a fighter.  The kid has more heart in him than most men and he has all the potential in the world.  All the ingredients are in place for the Ultimate Submission Match at The Monster Bash to be a classic!

Jericho enters the ring and grabs a conveniently placed microphone.  As his music dies down, Jericho takes a few moments to revel in the hatred from the thousands in attendance, bringing a slight smirk to his face.



A large range of jeers and chants (none of them nice) can be heard, none of which have any effect on Jericho as he raises his mic, speaking over them to drown them out.



[Chris Jericho]  Hypocrites... liars... cheaters... and parasites of all ages.  Welcome to the single, greatest talk show in the history of sports-entertainment.  Welcome to The Highlight Reel!

As expected, a huge roar of disapproval rises up from the ranks of the XWL Universe.  Jericho grins before continuing.



[Chris Jericho]  I expected as much, you see, wherever I go in the world, it's always the same.  XWL fans are just like sheep.  You cheer who you're supposed to cheer.  You boo who you're supposed to boo.  You can't think for yourselves.  Every single week I give you the best match of the night and I'm by far the most talented in that entire locker room, yet you boo me, because you're supposed to.  And just like the sheep that you are, you buy into all the lame catchphrases.  You spend your hard-earned cash on all the childish, cheesy t-shirts and merchandise that you're supposed to and you're brainwashed into eating up mediocre television every week.  I'm not surprised that you're just as quick to shout YES whenever that bearded freak comes out here and begs you to give him a reaction...

A large portion of the crowd start chanting YES with the accompanying arm motion, much to Jericho's annoyance.



[Chris Jericho]  You see?  He's not even out here yet and here you are, acting like mindless idiots.  Do you know how ridiculous you look and sound doing that?  You're pathetic.

The crowd quickly reverts to a NO chant as Jericho continues.



[Chris Jericho]  But after this Sunday, your hero Daniel Bryan will meet his demise.  There will be no more annoying chants.  No more annoying bearded freaks.  Now that the match is an Ultimate Submission match I will be using that to my advantage.  Now I can make Daniel Bryan tap out over and over again.  I can embarrass him more times than he can imagine by forcing him to submit and in the process admitting that I am far superior than he is and ever will be.  I now have the chance to break every single bone in Daniel Bryan's body and there is not a damn thing you people or anybody else can do-



[Jim Ross] Well it looks like Daniel Bryan has had enough of Chris Jericho's talking already!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] I don't think he's the only one in the arena who doesn't exactly want to hear Chris Jericho's voice right now.



Daniel walks down the ramp glaring at Chris Jericho obviously not happy about the beating he was given last week at the hands of Chris Jericho. The fans cheer and shout yes as always but Daniel just makes it straight to the ring and picks up a microphone getting in Jericho's face.



[Daniel Bryan] You're gonna be the one to make me tap out over and over huh? I don't think you're even going to get the chance at The Monster Bash, Jericho. Sure, you made me tap last week. But the only way you could do it was to ambush me, throw me into steel ring posts and exposed concrete and then lock in the walls.. Let's not forget what happened the week before that, you may have made me tap out after all of that but I was the one who made you tap out when you were the fresh man and I had been wrestling for 15 minutes against Colt Cabana! So if I can make you tap out while you're 100%, imagine how easy it'll be for me to make you tap in a regular match? And then I can do it again.. and again.. and again! I could make you tap from a neck submission, arm submission, leg submission, any of them! And you want to come out to these people and talk about how they're sheep? Don't forget that if it wasn't for those "sheep" as you like to call them, you wouldn't even have a job.

The fans cheer at Daniel backing them up now.



[Daniel Bryan] You're one to talk about "cheesy t-shirts" as you stand there in your patented Y2J t-shirt along with your sparkly jacket, you've got all of the signs of an entertainer Chris, not a wrestler. You don't exactly look like a guy who can wrestle in an ultimate submission match, with your fancy light up jacket, your boyband haircut and mid life crisis tattoos. By the time I'm finished with you at The Monster Bash you can take your little haircut and light up kiddie jacket to your Fozzy concerts where they belong. I said you don't know what you're getting yourself into when we were just set to have a singles match, but now with these raised stakes? You're just in way too deep, you really don't know what's going to hit you once you step into that ring at the pay per view. You know I was watching your entrance on the monitor backstage and I heard Jim Ross say that this could be a career defining moment for me. That would be true if I was facing the real Chris Jericho.. but all I see before me is a man who cares more about his look than his actual skill..

Jericho stares long and hard into the eyes of his rival before slowly removing his light up jacket.



[Chris Jericho]  I don't need flashy jackets.  I don't need t-shirts like this one to amount to anything.  I don't need these people to make a living.  You say I wouldn't have a job if it weren't for these people?  Let me remind you of something.  I'm not only a professional wrestler... Bryan.  I'm a rockstar.  I'm a writer.  I'm an actor.  I'm a jack-of-all-trades.  These people... these gelatinous tapeworms are not responsible for my success.  I don't need them and they don't mean a damn thing to me.  I'll succeed in anything I do with or without their approval, unlike you.  You need the attention.  You need their reaction to remain relevant and to put food on your table.  You beg and grovel every single week to get some kind of a response and you degrade yourself every week with your stupid chants and arm motions like some kind of children's entertainer.  I've said it before and I'll say it again... If it's anyone that's the entertainer, Bryan... it's you.

The crowd boo as Jericho continues.



[Chris Jericho]  Let me ask you something Bryan.  Why is it that every week you need to make a name for yourself at my expense?  If it's not attacking me from behind, it's interrupting me as I'm speaking on this microphone.  You're trying to steal some of my spotlight.  The thing that separates me from the likes of you.  Wherever I go, whether they admit it or not, everybody wants to see Chris Jericho.  In this ring, out of it, all the media appearances, book signings, concerts... everybody turns up to see me.  I'm a superstar Bryan.  You're just a bearded nobody trying to make any kind of a name for himself in a company where he has accomplished absolutely nothing.  You're trying to build up this false illusion that somehow, Daniel Bryan stands a chance against Chris Jericho at The Monster Bash with all these attacks and interruptions.  But the harsh reality is that you don't Bryan.  You don't stand a chance in hell this Sunday.  And when you realize that... when the truth finally sinks in as you look across the ring at me and face the fact that you are in the ring with the best in the world and the biggest superstar in this company...  It'll be too late.



The fans furiously boo again as Daniel stares at Jericho. You can tell Daniel's almost at his breaking point but he's keeping himself calm not letting Jericho get to him.



[Daniel Bryan] Okay.. okay.. You are all of those things, you're a writer, an actor, a rockstar and many more things! But the one thing you are not is better than me. Just because you're more seasoned than me in this business doesn't mean you're above everyone else. I may throw my hands in the air with a signature pose.. like a "children's entertainer" as you call it. But not long ago you were the young up and comer who threw your arms outwards in a signature pose and you had catchphrase after catchphrase after catchphrase! I'll admit, the first time you called me an entertainer, it hurt. But I don't really care right now because at The Monster Bash you're going to see first hand how much of a professional wrestler I really am. When you walk to the back disappointed with a red chest from plenty of kicks, a bloody nose, bloody mouth, maybe a dislocated shoulder or even more, try call me an entertainer then. Or maybe a good ol' fashioned guillotine will do the trick, knock you out cold for a win and then you won't be able to use that voice of yours for your concerts or tv shows.

Some of the fans can be heard going "Ohhh!" at Daniel's threats.



[Daniel Bryan] So let's get to the question since it is your show after all. Why oh why do I keep targetting you? I should be asking you that, the night after Eye for an Eye I was minding my own business in the ring with my own promo and you are the one who interrupted me. You're the one who interrupted me off the bat and tried to treat me like I'm nothing. And you're the one who attacked me from behind on two separate occasions, not to mention one of those backfiring. And the whole interrupting you on the microphone? Yeah it's just a little payback from the night after Eye for an Eye. You came out trying to steal my spotlight because you were down in the dumps after losing your World Title in pretty embarrassing fashion so you picked on the guy in the ring but the thing is you chose the wrong guy. I'm not trying to make a name for myself, Chris.. I AM making a name for myself. You're right on one point though, the truth is going to sink in for me next week when we face off in the ring. The truth is I will be in the ring with "one of" the best wrestlers in the world and "one of" the biggest superstars in the company but the difference is it won't be too late, it'll be just right. It's the perfect setting for my rise and it's all going to be at your expense.

The crowd begins chanting YES as Jericho looks on with a smirk for a few moments almost acknowledging Bryan got one over on him with that exchange.  You can almost see the cogs turning in his mind as he ponders his next move.



Bryan is all fired up and has an intensity in his eyes like we haven't seen in a while as the YES chants reach a deafening level.  Jericho cuts in, breaking up the chants, by beginning his response.



[Chris Jericho]  I have to admit kid...  you have some guts to stand there and disrespect me the way that you are.  And you really do believe you have it in you, don't you?  You really think that you have what it takes to succeed.  After all the setbacks, after all the obstacles put in your way and despite your obvious lack of talent and charisma you think you can accomplish something in this company.

The crowd cheers as Bryan nods, still extremely fired up.



[Chris Jericho]  But you're no different than Dolph Ziggler.  The Show Off who has been shown up time and time again.  You're no different than Dean Ambrose, so lost in delusion and his fantasies that he can't keep his eye on the ball.  And you're no different than Christian, a fake, a fraud and a phony.  All you are to me, is just another opponent.  Another guy in my way and another victory for me to earn on my inevitable return to the top of this business and the regaining of my World Heavyweight Championship.



[Chris Jericho]  After The Monster Bash, you're going to fade away Bryan.  All this support from the fans, all of this hype surrounding you... it will all be gone.  I hope you realize that.  After I embarrass and humiliate you in our match up, Ring Of Honor, Dragon Gate or whatever worthless indy promotion currently scraping the barrel looking for generic wrestlers won't even pick you up.  You'll be done Bryan.  Nobody will want you.  Do you understand what I am saying to you right now?



[Daniel Bryan] Oh, I understand what you're saying, but just like everything else coming out of your mouth it's wrong. You can say that I'm no different than Dean Ambrose or Dolph Ziggler but this time next week you'll be forced to admit you're wrong. Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose could never get the job done against you and I'm going to overshadow them. Not only am I going to beat you once, which is more than those men could do, I'm going to beat you over and over again as you tap out and tap out to your heart's content! The single reason you interrupted me is because you were the one who was fading away, you had just come off the biggest loss of your career and you were the one trying not to fall into obscurity so you picked me because whether or not you want to admit it, deep down you know I have a future around here.

Daniel pauses and glares at Jericho.



[Daniel Bryan] And don't you dare talk down on indy wrestling. I spent ten years on that circuit busting my ass to get to where I am today and I know there's guys in Ring of Honor and Dragon Gate that would wrestle circles around you if given the chance. Those guys are the future of this business, when you're retired at home with your little legends contract. Those guys that you're talking down on right now will be taking this business to places it's never been before and I am going to be one of those guys. You may think I'm done at The Monster Bash but trust me, it's just the beginning for me whether you like it or not.



[Chris Jericho]  You can believe whatever you want to believe Bryan.  The fact is you're wrong... and you're going to be proved wrong this Sunday.  So enjoy the limelight while you can junior.  Because your days in relevancy... your days of being popular or having potential... are numbered.

Jericho gives a few seconds for his words to sink in before throwing his microphone at Bryan.  Bryan catches it confused, before Jericho comes flying in, tackling him to the ground and landing big right hands!  The crowd showers the ring with boos as Jericho continues his assault!

[Jim Ross]  Bah gawd!  What an under-handed move!  

[Michael Cole]  That's called being smart JR.  Jericho had Bryan hook-lined-and-sinkered.

Jericho screams at Bryan "you son of a bitch!" several times as he continues his attack.  Suddenly Bryan grabs one of Jericho's arms and flips him over into the YES LOCK!  The arena erupts into a frenzy as Jericho wails in agony!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]  The Yes Lock!  What a counter!

Jericho taps the mat over and over again as Bryan screams out Yes while applying the pressure.  The fans are going absolutely insane at this point. A couple of referees enter the ring and pry Daniel off of him, he lets go and springs to his feet throwing his arms in the air signalling for the fans to continue as the Yes chants continue at a roaring height. Jericho rolls out of the ring as the referees check on him but he can be seen looking back in the ring as Daniel has his back turned to him.

[Michael Cole] Jericho looks like he's about to blow!

[Jim Ross] Be careful what you wish for Cole, he's coming back!

He angrily pushes the referees away before sliding back into the ring, he holds his shoulder before turning Daniel over and dropping him with a Codebreaker! He stays on his knees as a smirk grows on his face, he pulls Daniel to the center of the ring and hooks his legs. He turns him over and locks in a solid Walls of Jericho with nowhere to go for Bryan. The referees enter the ring again and try to pull Jericho off but to no avail as Daniel taps on the mat.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] He's a man posessed, they can't get him off Daniel!

[Jim Ross] You can just feel the hatred between these to men, they're going to be let loose in an Ultimate Submission match next week and it's going to be bowling shoe ugly folks!

The boo's from the fans are deafening as Jericho can be heard shouting "Come on Daniel, you worked 10 years for this, is this all you've got?!" More and more referees come down as it takes multiple people to pull Jericho off of him. Jericho is being held back in the corner of the ring to keep him away from Bryan. The last sight we see before we head to a commercial break is Daniel Bryan in agony on the mat as Chris Jericho is being restrained with a smirk looking on at him.

**Breakdown returns from a commercial break. We are ringside with the team.**


J.R: Folks, over the past few weeks there has been tension between two superstars. CM Punk and Kevin Steen! Both men have attacked one another, both men have had verbal attacks too. Punk has been have a problem with not only Steen he has had a problem with the authority in XWL to add to his problems in XWL. This is all started when Kevin Steen decided to interrupt Punk's friend and mentor, Paul Heyman. Punk came out when Steen started to get a little physical and after a little back and forth Punk got hit with that infamous package piledriver that has put many out for some time here in XWL and in the pro wrestling universe. Well weeks have gone by where officials have had to pull these two apart and this coming Sunday they be unleashed on one another. Punk is said he is going to prove to all of the XWL universe that he is what he says he is, The Best in the World. Punk wants to show us all that Kevin Steen is nothing but a profanity using, trash talking second rate wrestler who is thinks he is big time. Kevin Steen has said that he will be the monster at Monster's Bash and he will show Punk why he is better than him and why he is not only Pro wrestling's Worst Nightmare but Punk's nightmare aswell. So this Sunday at Monsters Bash it is The Best in the World vs Pro Wrestling's Worst Nightmare. We understand that we have Kevin Steen live via satellite where he is in his car on the way to the arena tonight here in Kansas City. J.R Stands up with a mic to interview Kevin Steen.

**We go to the titantron which shows Kevin Steen driving his SUV with a camera filming from the steering wheel.**


J.R: Kevin, if I could....

Kevin Steen: Shut the fuck up J.R!!

**The fans start to boo as Kevin Steen shouts that to the voice of XWL, J.R who then drops his mic and sits down.**



Kevin Steen: That's right Jim do as your told and just sit there and shut up for a second and let someone else get a word in yeah? I mean I heard all your bullshit break down bullshit about how all this happened. It doesn't matter how it happened, what matters is what is going to happen on Sunday. I see that last week I had my match with Chris Sabin in a hardcore match and there was no sign of Punk trying to get a cheap attack, there was no sign of him trying his luck one more time because remember Punk is all moral now, he wouldn't do sneak attacks beacuse he will have you all think that he has the balls to attack someone face to face. Well Punk I know you haven't got the balls, you may think you have, I know you are probably checking now to see if there still there but Punk believe me your full of shit. Yeah I respect that you have done a lot in your career, you have beaten the whos who of XWL as well as the rest of the pro wrestling world. You have wrestled with the best of them, you have brawled with the brawlers, gone technical with the ring technicians and you have beat them all. But Punk to me I don't give two shits about what you have done because you have been in the ring with me once here in XWL, I beat you, I dropped you on your fucking head and I am making your work through the pain week in and week out. You think your tough because breaking all this "kayfabe" now you are not free of injury, you know that you have a few niggles here and there. I know about this and I will fuck you up further and maybe I will be nice for once in my life and put you on the shelf so you can have much needed rest.



Kevin Steen: Anyway I bet you all want to know why I am not already at the arena in shitty Kansas City, well that's because I just have to make a little pit stop here in Kansas City to visit someone but you know what you can all come along for the ride. Jim, Michael, Jerry you can join to in something that I might call Kevin's Escapade. Anyway I am just about to pull up so you can go to a commercial or some type of did you bullshit that the XWL like to put up every fucking opportunity.

**Steen is cut off as we got to a video package of the the next DVD and Blu Ray release from XWL. It is the last PPV, EYE FOR AN EYE!! The video package ends letting us all know we can buy it online from XWLshop.com. We now go back to "Kevin Steen's Escapade".**



Kevin Steen: Hey so Jim, I would let you give me a welcome back introduction but you know what you can still stay there and mumble to yourself how I am making you look fucking stupid. So welcome back sports fans, I am here at a local wrestling event that is happening near XWL tonight which will prob have a few fans who don't know what this shit is really, maybe we get some washed up vets here too. I would give you a name of the little indy company it is but you know what I don't actually know so fuck it. Anyway here I go into this little school hall or some shit to see some top class rasslin'.

**Kevin goes through the door and we are following him on his personal camera that has been filming all this. He gets to the table that is where you pay the entrance fee. The women who looks about 50 but dressing like some teenager is looking at Steen likes she knows him from somewhere.**

Lovely Lady asking for money: Hey darling, I think I know you don't I?

Kevin Steen: Well Doris don't tell anyone about that okay, I mean, I was lonely, I needed some comfort because I was away from home and we don't need this to be aired do we.

Lovely Lady, possibly a prostitute: Excuse me darling, I don't know what you are implying...

Kevin Steen: Oh its fine don't worry about it I will just slip you this $5 to get in and you know what I will see you next time doll, wink, wink.

**Kevin Steen grabs his ticket and starts walking to the entrance where the ring is set up. A little weedy guy wearing a jacket that says "security" on it steps in front and stops Steen.**

Big Bad Security Guy with acne: Excuse me sir, your not aloud to take that camera in here, we have a no flash photography, no video camera policy here at IPW-----

Kevin Steen: Woah, Woah, Woah, watch your goddamn language son, you want me to lose my bloody job, I mean lets not get sued, I mean I am sure you would love to go back to your caravan to get fucked up later on so lets not mention that in front of my little camera here. So security you see your dumb ass might be a bit like Doris over there and think they might know who I am but I am going to straight up and tell you, I am Kev...... I am Kelvin Bean, I am from Xtreme Wrestling League and I am on what you could call a little scouting mission for some talent. I am sure that the wrestlers tonight and even the promoter wouldn't want you to fuck that for them would they junior?

**Kevin Steen pats the guy on the back which actually hurts the security guy as he starts to rub his back. Steen walks into the room where there is a few merchandise tables with Indy wrestlers selling their t-shirts.**



Kevin Steen: So I have used my skills that I learnt through many youtube clips of the best espionage tactics on the internet EVER!!! I am not here where these guys are trying to make a bit of money on there crappy fall apart t-shirts. I might go buy one or two because there is a couple of guys who I actually think are pretty good but for legal reasons I won't name sorry. Anyway I sure when I find them a certain someone in XWL might recognise them and I hope its going to be like its a nice reunion for them. Hmmm I wonder where they are, I mean I saw a Honky Tonk Man lookalike over there and someone else who looks a lot like Cactus Jack, no thats just some weird local who obviously got those clothes from a thrift store. Oh hang on a minute I think I have found our guys.



**Kevin Steen turns the camera to to guys at a merch table selling t-shirts to some fans. Steen starts to walk up to the fans but stops when the Honky Tonk Man lookalike stands up and greets him.**

Kevin Steen: Wait a second, I will love to see all that shake, rattle and roll bullshit but I am a little busy but you look like you know who I am more dipshit and Doris out there. So you can do me a favour and hold this camera while I go talk to your tops stars here tonight.

**The Honky Tonk Man slowly takes the camera off Steen and looks a little confused on what the hell is going on. Steen informs him to hold it up and point it at him. Steen walks over to the town wrestlers and pats them on there backs. They turn around and then they are a little starstruck at the sight of Kevin Steen and they start to shake his hand. Kevin Steen is all smiles as he stares right into the camera.**

Indy Wrestler #1: Hey your Kevin Steen, damn I can't believe it. I mean aren't you meant to be on TV tonight. I know my good friend.....

Kevin Steen: Hey, Hey, Hey, come on let me drop the bombshell of the evening because this is my bloody moment here you can have yours in just a second. That's right without giving names, these two actually know someone in XWL who is such a good friend. I mean I think he has tried to get you a couple of tryouts at XWL but they didn't workout so I thought I'd pay you a visit and give you a gift from your new buddy, Kevin Steen.

Indy Wrestler #2: Hey aren't you the guy who is wrestling our buddy this Sun.....

Kevin Steen: Goddam fucking it!!! Yes ruin it all for the audience who is watching via this camera I have Honky holding over there. Yes I am wrestling your so-called buddy this Sunday on PPV, your buddy that is none other than CM Punk!!!

**Steen who was full of smiles quickly turns to a look of digust and then suddenly pulls something out of his pocket and hits the one guy other the head with it. The indy guy falls back onto his merch table and then Steen grabs the other and starts beating the hell out of him with lefts and rights to the skull. For some reason Honky is still filiming all this. Other indy wrestlers run over but stand back as Steen lifts up the one and


F5'S HIM THROUGH THE TABLE WITH HIS T-SHIRTS ON IT!!!

The indy wrestlers and even the security guy stands back not wanting to do anything just in case they get that next. Steen walks over to the other guy who got hit first with some type of foreign object and is now bleeding from the eyebrow. The guy is dazed as Steen grabs him by this long hair. But suddenly the guy starts punching Steen to the gut and is trying to fight back. He gets to his feet and unloads some punches to Steen but a thumb to the eye stops him in his tracks and then a swift kick to his balls puts him down to his knees in a flash. Steen grabs him and throws him onto his merch table and climbs on it with him. Steen lifts him up and then....


PACKAGE PILEDRIVER RIGHT THROUGH THE TABLE!!!!!!!



Steen gets ups and roars with an angry roar then starts to punch himself in the face which seems to unsettle everyone around. Some try to go check on Punk's Indy friends but Steen won't let them pass. Steen walks over to the Honky Tonk Lookalike and kicks him straight in the balls. He drops the camera in which Steen then picks it up and puts it up close to his face and starts to talk once more.**



Kevin Steen: PUNK!!!!!! No fucker is safe from me, I would of beat the crap out of your adoptive family if we was in Chicago. You think that I am some second rate wrestler, you think that I am not really worth your time, well I you are dead wrong Punk, tonight these fuckers has had a treat. For you, your friends have had a little taster of what is in store for you asshole. I hope your watching, I hope your eyes are glued to this horror scene, glued to this monster because this face is what you will see in your nightmares until Sunday reaches when this face will be in front of you and then this monster fucks you up!!!!!

**Steen gets up and walks away and leaves the camera on the floor next the Honky Tonk lookalike and shouts "keep it asshole and try a new gimmick  fucktard" The guy looks up and shouts back, "I am the Honky Tonk Man". We then got to commercials.**

*We switch to the parking lot area where AJ Lee is shown arriving.  An interviewer is quick on the scene and approaches AJ for some words.*



[Interviewer]
AJ!  AJ!  This coming Sunday at The Monster Bash, you will be going one-on-one against Paige.  After what happened last week, it's sure to be one heck of a brawl between the two of you.  What are your thoughts heading into the final week before you finally settle your differences once and for all?



[AJ Lee]
Settle our differences?  I don't think our differences will ever be settled.  You see, I despise Paige.  I hate everything that she is and everything that she represents.  She claims to be this "Anti-Diva" but she's just the same as all the other women on this roster.  She's a Diva whether she admits it or not.  She loves the spotlight, she likes to look pretty and she couldn't care less about the way women's wrestling is declining.  I can only imagine how ashamed the wrestling family she comes from are.  But it's okay.  After Sunday, Paige won't be around anymore.

*AJ's eyes are cold and lack emotion as she continues speaking.*


[AJ Lee]
I made Paige a promise a few weeks ago which I intend on keeping.  She will be the first Diva to fall.  One by one all the pretty flowers are going to wither up and die until my path is clear to the Divas Championship.  It's waiting for me to reclaim it and it knows I won't let it down.  The higher ups can continue to ignore me every single week, but when I'm the only one left standing they'll have no choice but to give me my rightful shot at regaining title.  I don't care who you are, but if you come between me and my precious Divas Championship, you're going to get hurt.

*AJ speaks with an intensity and fire in her eyes as she continues.*



[AJ Lee]
I might not be the biggest, or the strongest, or look intimidating, but trust me.  You'll all witness what I'm capable of at The Monster Bash.  It's ironic Paige loves the colour black so much because that's all she'll be seeing once I'm through with her, after I leave her unconscious, in a broken, bloodied, mess.

*Suddenly it's like a switch has been flipped in AJ's brain as she breaks into a big grin, the complete opposite to her mood just a few seconds ago.*



[AJ Lee]
Whatever it takes to make Paige happy so that she can see all the black she wants to, I'll do it.  My promise will be kept.  Paige will be the first to fall... and everybody else will follow...

*AJ lets out a laugh, which is sinister, almost creepy, before skipping away merrily towards the arena.  The screen fades away to a promotional video hyping up the Monster Bash PPV this Sunday.*

Breakdown returns from a commercial break and heads straight backstage to see Jonathan Coachman standing by.


[Jonathan Coachman]
I am the Coach! Jonathan Coachman! We are just a few short days away from The Monster Bash, and at the Monster Bash we will see two of the biggest names in the history of this business square off in an unsanctioned match. These two men are known for being best friends but at The Monster Bash it becomes personal when Triple H and Shawn Michaels go one in one, in the most fierce rivalry in XWL, and my guest at this time is one of the men who will compete in that match...The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels!

Shawn Michaels then walks onto the screen to a huge reaction from the Live audience. Shawn Michaels is looking more like "himself" than he had been over the past few weeks, its almost like landing the Sweet Chin Music on HHH was what he needed to reignite the fire inside him.


[Jonathan Coachman]
Shawn, What are you final thoughts on heading into The Monster Bash to face your best friend and former Tag Team Partner, Triple H?  And not only that, but facing him in an Unsanctioned match where absolutely anything goes?

Just as The Coach lifts the Microphone for HBK to speak, Shawn is knocked down to the ground from behind. The camera pans out to reveal none other than Triple H standing over Shawn Michaels! Triple H then mounts Shawn Michaels and lands vicious shots to the head of Shawn Michaels, before getting back to his feet leaving Shawn on the floor. Triple H drags Shawn to his feet...but Shawn fights back! Shawn lands some lefts and rights of his own, as the battle is now on! Both men are just throwing left and right shots towards each other, before HHH lands a knee to the gut and throws Shawn Michaels into the interview set! The set and Shawn Michaels both go crashing to the floor.  The carnage causes some women in the background to scream and various backstage workers scarper.  Coach is long gone and moved quicker than anyone thought possible as soon as the fight broke out.

[Triple H]  You still think you've got it Shawn?  Huh?  You want to kick me in the face and think that changes anything?

The Game grabs a nearby camera stand and pushes it over onto the downed Michaels.  He then bends down to get right in his face.

[Triple H]  This Sunday Shawn, one way or another... it's game over.

Triple H breathes heavily, his cold final words echoing as he looks down at his unconcious former friend.  He turns to leave, but wait!  Shawn Michaels was not unconscious after all!  He quickly bounds to his feet and comes flying in with a forearm to the back of of The Cerebral Assassin's head!  Both men again fall to the ground in a heap as the brawl continues. Michaels is first back to his feet and grabs hold of Triple H and hits some viscous right hands, staggering Triple H. HBK then picks up a trash can! He swings it towards the head of Triple H and it connects! Triple H falls to his knees and HBK throws the trash can to the ground, the huge dent that Triple H's head left is there for all to see. Michaels now approaches Triple H...LOW BLOW! Triple H connects with a Low Blow, Michaels falls to the ground in severe pain. The Game is back on his feet, a laceration now showing from the trash can shot.  He stalks his prey and is once again about to launch an attack when an agent comes in to try break up the two adversaries.  Triple H throws the agent into a wall effortlessly with brute force!  He then grabs hold of Shawn by the hair and roughly drags him to his feet.  Hunter drags him over to a window! What does Triple H have planned?! He stares Shawn in the face.

[Triple H]  This is going to hurt Shawn, you son of a bitch!

Shawn's eyes are glazed over and he doesn't respond. The Game lunges forward towards the window...But no! Shawn manages to deliver a elbow to the gut of Triple H before he is sent crashing through the glass, instead Shawn now has control and slams Triple H into a near bytable, the pain on both men is clear for all to see.  Blood trickles down the face of The Game who is in a heap against the table, as The Heartbreak Kid takes this moment to try catch his breath.  Suddenly revitalized, The King Of Kings charges forward, slamming Shawn against a shutter door, driving the wind out of him.  The cavalry arrives in the form of a large number of security guards and XWL officials, around 20 in total.  They pull the men apart as the two continue to shout obscenities and insults at each other.


Then suddenly HBK breaks free! He dives straight onto HHH, taking out some security too! Just as it seems like the brawl is back on security once again take control holding both men apart.





The last images we see are of both Triple H and Shawn Michaels being held back by security, the hatred is clear to see as both men try to get free but the amount of officials and security make that impossible to do so.

Triple H's theme song blasts throughout the arena. The arena begins to flash with all sorts of different colors. Justin Roberts begins to speak.

Could I have your attention, please?

As Triple H's theme song fades out, the audience begins to boo the man that has just interrupted his entrance.

[Michael Cole]
I have just received an e-mail from our general manager. It says,...
and I quote...
"Triple H will not be competing tonight. Thus, making the winner of this match... no one. This match will be ruled a no contest.... brother."

After hearing this news, Adrian Neville is livid. He begins yelling at the referee, as if he has something to do with this. Suddenly from behind, Fandango slides into the ring and takes Neville down with a clobbering blow to the back of the head. Neville falls to the mat and Fandango stands over his body, a chorus of boos accompanying him. Fandango begins to dance over his body a little bit, as Summer Rae stands on the outside applauding him.

Jim Ross
This damn kid has been out of control, he’s been making his own rules around here.

Jerry Lawler
Yeah, and I’ve got a sneaking suspicion Summer Rae has something to do with that.

Michael Cole
Here you two go again. If we could look at the facts, this is the second time Fandango has taken Neville down!

Jerry Lawler
Yeah, from behind, maybe.

Fandango ceases his dancing and turns to Neville, looking down at him with a scowl, but his mouth remains shut. He stomps away at Neville a bit, driving his boots into his chest. He drops down to his knee and hunches over Neville, just like he did two weeks ago, and picks up his head in order to deliver some hard shots. Fandango drills him in the skull over and over with his right fist, and once he’s satisfied with the damage he slams Neville’s head straight into the mat. Fandango gets up and dances his way over to the turnbuckle, with Summer applauding him the entire way. He leaps up to the top rope and turns around, standing up on his feet. He dances again, signaling for his leg drop.

Oh come on! What does he want?

The crowd explodes as Breakdown General Manager, for now at least, Hulk Hogan struts on out to the stage. Fandango freezes on the top rope and turns his attention to Hogan. Summer turns around to face him and puts her hands on her hips, staring at Hogan in disgust. Hogan has a microphone and he raises it to speak.

[Hulk Hogan]
Hey, just hold the phone there, jack! If you want me to be honest, I’m getting pretty damn sick and tired of the crap you two have been pulling over the past couple of weeks. You two think you run this joint, but guess what, you don’t! I’m the one in charge here, brother. Now I don’t know what the relationship between you two are, and I don’t really care either. I just know you two have been a thorn in my side ever since you showed up here a couple of weeks ago. Fandango, you’ve been running around here sneak attacking Adrian dude from behind, and last week when it finally was time to put up or shut up you tucked your tail in between your legs and ran off like a coward. You and Summer decided you only need to compete when you feel like it, but that’s not how it works around here. You’re gonna compete when I tell you that you have to compete. And you know what, Fandango? You’ve got a match this Sunday, brother. A match against none other than “The Man Gravity Forgot” Adrian Neville! And in case you get any bright idea to just walk off again, let me be the first to tell it ain’t gonna happen that why. From now on, you and Summer have to compete when you’re told, or you are out of here!

Hulk Hogan just laid down the law, if Fandango and Summer refuse to compete from now on they’re fired!

Hogan stands on top of the stage, nodding in approval of his own handy work. Summer is livid on the outside, and she shouts at Hogan, calling him an idiot and a senile old man. Fandango remains frozen on the top rope, and Neville hops up to his feet!

Watch out, Fandango!

Neville sprints towards Fandango and grabs him by the leg, yanking him off the top rope and causing him to crash back first into the mat. Neville realizes Fandango is out and gazes across the arena before pointing to the top rope. The fans here in Kansas City pop and hop up to the feet, they all know what’s coming next! Neville walks over to the corner and jumps up, landing firmly on the top turnbuckle. He stands up and balances himself before measuring his next move, knowing he has only one shot to hit this. He finally takes the leap, going for the Red Arrow, but Summer pulls Fandango out of the ring at the last moment! Miraculously, Neville is able to land on his feet!

I’m just glad Summer got Fandango out of there!

Yeah, Fandango runs away from another fight…

Well, this Sunday there will be no running for Fandango! He has to man up and face Adrian Neville this Sunday at the Monster Bash, or he is fired!

The fans jeer as Summer holds Fandango’s hand and the two escape up the entrance ramp together. They make their way up to the stage as Neville shouts at them, telling Fandango to get back into the ring. They stop on the stage and Summer hands Fandango a microphone. He catches his breath before raising the microphone and speaking.

[Fandango]
It’s… FAAAAAAAN… DAAAAAAAN… GOOOOOO.

Fandango drops the microphone and engages in a brief stare-down with Neville. Eventually, he turns around and takes Summer’s hand, telling her they have reservations. They walk off together leaving Neville in the ring, but this week he has a smirk on his face because he knows he will have Fandango in this ring this Sunday at the Monster Bash.

-20 minutes into the match-

Alberto Del Rio is shown leaning against the ropes catching his breath only to see Daniel Bryan running at him across the ring, he ducks and flips Bryan over the top rope. He moves forward regaining his composure when he notices that Daniel in fact held onto the ropes! He takes Daniel by the head trying to throw him off but Daniel headbutts him out of nowhere, he takes Del Rio by the arm and hip tosses him over the ropes and out of the ring causing him to land hard on his back. Daniel jumps back into the ring and runs as fast as possible springing off the ropes and on the rebound he jumps through with a huge suicide dive!



[Jim Ross] What a dive! Daniel has the crowd on their feet!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] You can tell his words with Chris Jericho earlier tonight really motivated him, he's in top form right now.

[Michael Cole] Do you HONESTLY think he can beat Alberto Del Rio?! He's the number one contender for a reason for crying out loud!



Daniel gets up first as he looks to the crowd and nods his head feeding off the electricity of them. He picks Del Rio up but it turns out he was playing possum! Rio viciously knees Daniel in the stomach winding him before throwing him arm first into the ring post, Daniel falls to the ground in pain holding his shoulder. Del Rio is like a man posessed as he targets the shoulder now stomping it over and over, he rolls Daniel into the ring and then wraps the bad arm around the bottom rope and kicks it until the referee forces him to step back. Daniel crawls out of the corner and then all of a sudden Del Rio kicks him right in the head!



[Jerry "The King" Lawler] What a sickening sound, a vicious kick!

[Michael Cole] He's out! Cover him!

Del Rio indeed covers and it looks as if it's over but Daniel gets his shoulder up after 2! Del Rio looks up in shock and shakes his head, he waits for Daniel to get up and goes for a second superkick but Daniel catches his leg and holds it up and nails a leg trap German Suplex. He quickly scales the turnbuckle and pauses on the top rope soaking in the ovation from the crowd.



Before he dives off with a picture perfect headbutt! He waits for Del Rio to get up as he staggers to the corner, Daniel runs across the ring with a huge dropkick and starts to run across the ring to gain momentum for a second one but what he doesn't notice is Del Rio running across the ring behind him and once he reaches the corner Del Rio drops him with an enziguri! Both men are down now after Del Rio's last ditch effort. Del Rio is the first man up to his feet as he signals for the cross armbreaker but just as he's about to pick up Daniel Bryan..



It's Christian! Rio's jaw drops as he immediately turns to the stage, he leans against the ropes as the champ himself walks onto the stage. Christian's music stops as he simply stands on the stage with folded arms watching on. Del Rio can be heard angrily shouting at him to get out of here but what he doesn't notice is Daniel getting up to his feet. Behind him Daniel prepares himself and once Del Rio turns around he walks right into a huge flying knee knocking him out cold!

The fans jump to their feet as Daniel is victorious, they break out into Yes chants as Daniel has his arm raised in victory.

[Jim Ross] He did it! Daniel Bryan just defeated the Number One Contender for the World Title!

[Michael Cole] Oh don't you start JR, that was a damn fix! Christian had no business showing his face around here, that goat faced troll didn't do anything!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] You said it yourself, Cole. He was simply showing his face, he didn't do anything wrong, he was watching it just like you and I were!

Daniel does his signature Yes chant with the crowd as he rides on a wave of momentum heading into The Monster Bash as Alberto Del Rio is down on the mat. Christian can be seen smirking before walking through the curtain happy about the result of the match as we fade away to a commercial.[/b]

**The match has gone on for a good while and its a very back and forth affair with both getting a fair amount of offence in. Steen has Storm grounded after hitting him a sleeper suplex and Storm is on the floor trying to recover. Steen is to his feet and that sadistic look in his eyes from earlier after that attack at a local Indy show is there. Steen stalks Storn who is trying to get back to his feet. Steen looks like he is ready to finish this if not maybe hurt Storm here right now. Storm makes it to his feet and Steen is about to attack Storm when.....

















Steen turns around to face the titantron with a look of horror in his face. Steen walks over to the ropes with the look still on his face. Steen then starts to shout something which can't be picked up on the camera. He then starts signalling for Punk to make his way down. He is urging Punk to come down and face him right now. **

J.R: Kevin Steen looks like he is a little worried after hearing Punk's music and after the attack on his friends at the wrestling show earlier tonight I should expect so. Punk looking for some early revenge here....

Michael Cole: But where is Punk, his music has been playing for sometime but there is no sign of him so maybe Punk has had seconds thoughts....

King: Hold on, wait a minute look in the ring....

**We cut back to the ring and James Storm takes advantage of the distraction and quickly rolls up Steen for the pin, the ref gets down quick and counts.....

J.R: NO, Steen kicked out just before the 3, goddamn that was close

King: Steen wouldn't of been happy if he lost that way tonight.

**Steen kicks out and both men get back to their feet and there is still no sign of CM Punk as his music has stopped. Steen goes to hit Storm his a haymaker but Storm ducks. Steen turns around and....







J.R: LAST CALL, LAST CALL, Storm hits the Last Call Superkick and near enough knocks Steen's teeth down his throat. Surely its o.....

Michael Cole: Wait a minute J.R, look the force of that kick has made Steen fall through the ropes and to the outside, Storm won't be able to get the pinfall now. Dare I say that was clever of Kevin Steen.

**Storm dives towards Steen to stop him from falling through the ropes but he doesn't get there in time and he hangs on the bottom ropes holding his hair with a look of dissappointment. Steen is down on the outside holding his face. Storm falls back and lies on the canvas whilst the ref is calling for Steen to get back in the ring. Steen is starting to stir as the ref has just got around to starting the count. Steen starts crawling over to the announce table and uses it to help himself up but Steen is in a daze. Storm looks like he doesn't want a cheap victory and rolls out the ring and rushes towards Steen who is just about on his feet. Storm goes to attack but Steen grabs one of the monitors and hits him in the sternum. The ref calls for the bell to signal that Kevin Steen has been disqualified. Steen then goes to smash the monitor on the back of Storm but suddenly out of nowhere J.R grabs the monitor from Steen and takes it from him. Storm stumbles to the ring and rolls in as his music plays for his victory. The ref raises the arm of Storm but he snatches his arm away not happy with a cheap win. Storm rolls out and starts making his way to the back. Meanwhile Steen is staring down J.R who grabbed the monitor off him.**

J.R: That's not how to wrestle a match, I want to call a good mat--

**Before J.R can finish what he was about to say Steen pushes him back down to his seat and grabs his cowboy hat. King stands up but is met with a left hook to the face knocking him down. Steen throws the cowboy hat to the floor then drops an elbow drop on is squashing it before throwing it at Michael Cole. Steen then grabs JR around the throat and looks like he is going to hit him when....









CM Punk's music hits and the crowd pops big but that not as loud as it gets seconds later when CM Punk appears on the ramp looking down at Kevin Steen. Steen slowly lets go of JR and pushes him back to his seat. Punk is staring down at Steen with a face like thunder whilst Steen slowly climbs back into the ring. Steen looks back at Steen from inside the ring with a look of anger. Both Punk and Steen look like they are not going to wait until Sunday. Steen then flips the bird and shouts "bring it motherfucker" that is picked up by the camera. Punk then starts rushing down towards the ring when.......








STEVE CORINO jumps the barricade and tackles Punk down as he nearly makes it to ringside. Steen look of anger changes to a big sadistic smile as Corino gets the better of Punk with punches. Corino then gets to his feet and turns to his friend and has a smug look on his face. Corino then slowly takes his belt off and turns around ready to give Punk a whipping with the belt. Corino turns around and is met with a hard roundhouse kick to the side of the head and before he can fall to the ground Punk lifts Corino onto his shoulder and stares at Steen is is not moving in the ring but the smile has gone and the angry look is back. Steen doesn't know whether to attack or watch. Steen is looking, then suddenly he just shouts "FUCKING DO IT PUNK!!!"

Punk then hits the G.T.S!!!!!!!!

Corino gets knocked the hell out and falls to the floor and its now Punk and Steen staring one another down.**

J.R: Business is about to pick up folks. It looks like we are going to get an early present right now.

**Before Punk and Steen can do anything officials and agents storm to the ring to stop any attack but Punk and Steen don't even move. They cannot take their eyes off one another. The time for talking is over and they both look ready for Sunday at Monster's Bash. The agents and officials form a makeshift wall to stop anyone of them getting past to start an attack. But Punk and Steen still just stand there staring at one another.**

JR: You can cut the tension with a knife, one false move and we could have a slobberknocker right here, right now.

Michael Cole: Thats wall of officials and agents might not be enough if that happens JR, this could be all out war if this happens right now, but I think they are both thinking come Sunday nothing is going to stop them.



**We cut back to both Steen and Punk staring one another down with a wall of officials and agents in the way of them both. That is the last scene we see as we fade to a commercial break.**

XWL Breakdown returns from commercial and cuts to ringside..




The theme of Dean Ambrose hits across the arena and the crowd bursts into jeers.



The figure of Dean Ambrose appears from behind the curtain. He slowly walks down the ramp ignoring the entire audience.



Ambrose receives various sorts of abuse from the crowd at ringside, but none of it phases him and he just shakes it off as he walks to the ring. Dean grabs a microphone from ringside before entering the ring. He just stands and waits for the boo's to die down before raising the microphone to his mouth.

Before Dean can even get a word out he his cut off by...






It's Dolph Ziggler! The them of the "Show Off" hits across the arena, and some the crowd jump the their feet. THe typical mixed reaction for Dolph, but now it appears more of the crowd is on his side.



Ambrose's attention turns to the entrance as he just stares with a look anger.



Dolph Ziggler appears on the stage.. he just stands and stares at Dean, He doesn't do any of his normal taunts or poses.



Ziggler removes his jacket and drops it the ground, which causes the crowd to erupt as they can sense what is about to happen...With that said Ziggler begins to make his way down the ramp, not removing his focus from Ambrose. Ambrose just stands in the ring, begging Dolph to enter the ring. Dolph gets to ringside, and slides in the ring...The brawl is on! Ziggler takes down Ambrose and begins to throw lefts and rights as Dean tries to cover up. Dolph gets to his feet and removes his shirt and throws it to the crowd. The crowd are going nuts as they are delighted to finally see Dean Ambrose get whats coming to him.... But just as they think that Dean his to his feet and gets on the attack by knocking Dolph down from behind, the crowds cheers turns to jeers. Dean looks in control now, as he begins to stomp on Dolph, Dolph down on the mat and Dean backs up into the corner before "shooting" Dolph... He runs.... SUPERKICK BY DOLPH! Dean ran straight into a superkick from Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler this his opportunity and goes to the outside, Dolph grabs a steal chair from Under the ring, and re-enters the ring, Dean is getting to his feet but not for long as Dolph swings the chair straight across the head of Dean! Dean falls to the mat almost like he's out cold, Dolph places the chair on the floor and drags Dean to his feet and holds up over the chair... FAMEASSER ON THE CHAIR! Dean crashes face first into the folded chair on the mat. Dolph is fired up and isn't stopping there.. He drags Dean to his feet once more, and a cut has now opened on the face of Dean...ZIGZAG ON THE CHAIR! Dean squirms in pain as he lays on the mat, with blood pouring from his head. Despite the bloodied and beaten Dean, Dolph still isn't done... knocks dean down to the mat with a vicious kick to the head and places the steel chair flat across the head of Dean before dropping Multipul elbows to the crushing Dean's head between the mat and the chair! Ambrose is laying out cold as finally security and officials rush to the ring..but Dolph has just enough time to hit a sickening stomp on the chair! Once again crushing Deans head! If he wasn't already Dean is now outcold! Security hold back Dolph as EMT's check on Dean.



Dolph is left standing in the ring, as Dean Ambrose is loaded onto a stretcher and helped out of the arena.

When the cameras start rolling Matt Striker is stood by the the interview area ready to introduce his guest at this time

Matt Striker: Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm being joined right now by the Swiss Sensation, Antonio Cesaro.

The camera pans out a little as Antonio Cesaro walks in standing tall next to Matt Striker, as confident as ever as he waits for Matt Striker is ask him his first question



Matt Striker: Antonio, later on tonight you will go one on one with the man who next week at The Monster Bash will go up against Alex Shelley for the United States championship, that man of course being Kenny King, just what are your thoughts going into this match?

Cesaro looks annoyed, removing his glasses as he addresses Striker over his displeasure of what he's just said

Is that it? No welcome back Mr. Cesaro? No it's good to see you, we missed you last week? No of course not because you are ignorant and rude. I have defeated superstar after superstar and still you treat me like everybody else, I am not like everybody else, I am superior. I am superior mentally, I am superior genetically, I am superior in every way possible to everybody here tonight, and yet still you treat me like I am a nobody. This will not do, it is unacceptable.

Matt Striker: I'm sorry Antonio..

Before he can say another word Cesaro cuts Striker off taking another objection to the way Matt is speaking to him

No, no, that is Mr. Cesaro to you, so please start again.



Before trying to begin the interview again Matt Striker clears his throat

Matt Striker: Mr. Cesaro, it's good to see you this week.

Thank you, I wish I could say it is good to see you as well, but unfortunately I cannot.

Matt Striker: Tonight you go up against the number one contender to the United States championship, Kenny King, your thoughts?

Matt, in the last month I have defeated Randy Orton, Bobby Roode and your World Heavyweight champion Christian two weeks ago, so tell me please, why Kenny King would be of any concern to me?

Matt Striker: Well he's gearing up for a big match next week against Alex Shelley, so I'm sure he'll be looking to gain some momentum going into that at your expense.

No, Matthew, once again you are wrong, last week might be a big match for him, but tonight Kenny King is facing the fight of his life against me. He might be the contender for the United States championship, but I am Antonio Cesaro and I am the greatest superstar in XWL today. I am...



As always with Cesaro talking in his many languages the crowd start booing through total ignorance

Matthew, I feel like this is asked to me every single time I have a match, am I not concerned about whoever it is that I am facing? The answer will always be no. Just look at me, Matthew. I do not have any reason to be afraid of anybody, and I am not. Kenny King is no concern of mine because he does not have anything that I want, if he manages to become the United States champion next week at The Monster Bash, then maybe we will talk but as of right now, Kenny King is nothing to me.

The crowd begin boo Cesaro as he easily dismisses his opponents threat to him

Boo? Did you hear that, these people are booing me? And why? Because they know that I, unlike them speak the truth. However, even though they do not like me because they are stupid and uneducated, they have no choice but to respect me as the pound for pound strongest man in XWL today, and as they watch on from their recliner chairs that they have not moved from for days, and even the ones that have managed to wriggle free and make their way here tonight they will bear witness to Antonio Cesaro defeating Kenny King just like I have defeated many before him, because I am Antonio Cesaro and I am very... very European.

As Antonio Cesaro finishes speaking he walks away leaving Matt Striker standing by himself in the interviewing area as the cameras slowly fade out to black

As Breakdown returns from a commercial break, the Liaison to the Board of Directors John Laurinaitis is stood in the middle of the ring  beside a somewhat executive set-up of a table and two chairs as boos echo through the arena all directed at the man in the ring as he raises the microphone up to his lips as he starts to address the XWL universe



John Laurinaitis: My name is Mr John Laurinaitis, and I am the Liaison to the Board of the Directors of XWL.

As Laurinaitis talks the crowd continue to boo him trying to drown out whatever he has to say

John Laurinaitis: And as I told the General Manager Hulk Hogan a few weeks ago I have been sent here to Breakdown for the past few weeks to evaluate the operating condition of this organisation, and I have been burdened with the responsibility to make cuts wherever I see fit, to ensure not even a single penny of the Board's money is being put to misuse, and to guarantee that you people get to view the greatest spectacle that you possibly can each and every week. And despite what people may think of me I can assure each and every one of you that have took and will continue to take my role seriously and not allow petty personal difference get in the way of business, and I just want to take this moment to personally wish all of the people who have unfortunately been relieved of their duties the very best in all of their future endeavours. So with that said, per order of the anonymous chairman himself I am out here right now in front of a live crowd to conduct a job evaluation to one Hulk Hogan. So without further a due I request that the General Manager of XWL makes his way to the ring right now so we can get this under way.

As Laurinaitis finishes speaking the crowd continue to boo him for a few seconds until the theme of GM Hulk Hogan starts to blast around the arena prompting the crowds boos to quickly turn into cheers as they await the Hulkster's arrival



When Hogan walks out onto the stage the cheers from the crowd grow louder as the original icon of wrestling walks out in his legendary Red and Yellow colours possibly and starts to make his way down to the ring



Jim Ross: This could be the last time we see Hulk Hogan in an XWL arena, and by the sounds of things I think these fans know that.

Jerry Lawler: I think deep down everyone knows it, I'm sure Hogan will fight for his life right now, but I'm sure Laurinaitis will take a lot of convincing.

Michael Cole: What are you taking about? Mr Laurinatis is fair and impartial, I'm sure if Hogan is right for this job then he'll keep it, he's doing this for the fans, and I have no doubt in my mind that John Laurinaitis will do what's right.

Upon reaching ringside Hogan throws his feather boa's off his shoulders as he walks over to the ring steps handing his sunglasses to a fan in the front row and he walks up the steel steps onto the ring apron, and enters the ring



Jerry Lawler: It seems to me that you're scared for your job, Cole.

Michael Cole: Oh come off it Jerry, are you blind? Just look at how much XWL has improved since Laurinaitis has come back, and it's all thanks to our new Board of Directors.

Jim Ross: Things have changed that's for sure, but right now it's about that man right there, Hulk Hogan and whether or not after tonight he'll be able to still call himself the General Manager of XWL.

Now in the ring Hogan plays up the crowd as he walks to the camera side of the ring cupping his ear, leaning out over the top rope towards the crowd, then posing down for the crowd as his theme fades at as the crowd continue to cheer him on, but the cheers soon turn back to boos as Laurinaitis starts to talk again from his seat as he offers Hogan to sit down




John Laurinaitis: Mr Hogan, if you would please take a seat, and we can begin to proceedings..

With Laurinaitis in mid sentence he's cut off quickly by Hogan prompt the crowd to cheer as Hogan starts to speak refusing the seat offered to him

Hulk Hogan: Just hold on a second, Laurinaitis! You talk about your cost cutting and your new found power brother, but you know this evaluation is complete and utter bull! And if you really need an answer to the question, has Hulk Hogan done a good job as General Manager of XWL then all you have do to is listen to the 15,000 screaming Hulkamaniacs and they'll tell you exactly how they think I've done at the helm!

When he stops speaking Hogan quickly turns his attention to the crowd as they erupt in cheers for the General Manager showing their full support for him

John Laurinaitis: That may be so Hulk, but unfortunately for you their opinions doesn't matter in these proceedings. You might have 15,000 strong on your side but it's the 15,001st man that you need to convince, and before anyone thinks that this is an open and shut case, right now I'm going to offer you the floor to convince why your tenure as General Manager as been a successful one and more importantly why the brand new Board of Directors should give your their full support going into a brand new era of XWL.



Hulk Hogan: Well brother, I'll be completely honest with you, you're right maybe I haven't been the best General Manager of late, maybe I haven't been making sure these people get to see the best matches each week, maybe I have been blinded by my own views in rewarding superstars that I've taken a liking to with opportunities others would kill for. Maybe I have done that, but you know just as well as I do John, that I can't do the best job I can when I'm being undermined, I can't keep every superstar happy, and it can't always be good and rosy all the time, but you can't stand their and tell me that these last few weeks have been a home run. You can't honestly tell me that last week didn't have you on the edge of your seat from the very beginning to the very end of the show.

John Laurinaitis: I won't deny that the last few weeks that you've stepped up to try and put on the best show possible, but last week on Breakdown while admittedly it was exciting to see, you risked the health and safety of each and every single of of the XWL Superstars just weeks before one of the biggest pay-per-view events on the calendar, what would of done if the World Heavyweight champion Christian suffered a serious injury against the man that put in on the shelf to begin with? What if Corey Graves had sent the number one contender Alberto Del Rio to the hospital?

As Johnny Ace continues to question Hogan's decisions the crowd continue to boo him clearly disagreeing with his opinion on last weeks show

Hulk Hogan: I'll admit it was a risk, but you wanted excitement no matter the cost and I gave it to you, so I'm not going to stand here and apologise for booking a great show, and giving these people something they wanted to see.



John Laurinaitis: And what about last weeks main event? An unadvertised Money in the Bank ladder match featuring Chris Jericho, The Intercontinental champion John Morrison, the United States champion Alex Shelley and Ted DiBiase. One of the most exciting and dangerous matches in XWL history, all four of those men could of been gone from XWL for months to come, we could of lost three champions last week due to your rash actions. You endangered the well being of all of the superstars and divas last week on a whim, and that simply is not acceptable.

Hulk Hogan: It's like I said just now, yes, that was a risk, but it was a risk I was willing to take.

John Laurinaitis: That's very easy for you to say when it's somebody else's body on the line, let alone knowing that you needlessly gave away pay-per-view main event quality matches away for free without even a days notice.

Before the crowd can react to what was said Hogan quickly comes back at Laurinaitis



Hulk Hogan: Don't go pretending that it's only a risk to step between these ropes  when there's tables, and chairs and ladders and cages, Laurinaitis. You know full well that at any moment in any match, one bad landing, one freak accident could end a career. Bottom line, Johnny, you know damn well that this has nothing to do with if I've done a good job or not, because I know that sure I've had my bad weeks, but you know that I've done a great job as General Manager, and you know I deserve to remain General Manager going forward. I did the best with the hand I was dealt, and even when the chip were done I did this company proud, through it all. I was the first line of defence when this company was threatened from outsiders. I was the one who bit the bullet for the entire locker room, I led by example and I paid the price for it. I stood up when it mattered the most, and I will continue to stand up for this company and I will continue to lead by example if you give me the chance to. I will lead this company to new heights and you can tell that to the Board of Directors. You don't want to take what these people think into account, it's what they think that matters more than anybody else, they're the ones that pay your pay checks, they're the ones the pay for all of this and I have worked my fingers to the bone and I will keep doing that to make sure their hard earned money is well spent every single time they come to an XWL event. I know from the bottom of my heart that I am undoubtedly the best man for this job!

The crowd cheer for Hogan's speech, knowing that he won't let them down, as they do their best to suede Laurinaitis' decision



John Laurinaitis: That was quite the speech Hulk, but I think I've heard enough to come to decision that is not only fair, but what is best for business and best for XWL going forward. While the time you have given to XWL and in regards to your plans to the future vision of this company are quite impressive, and the effort of which you have given to your role as General Manager have been noted, I can't turn a blind eye the lack of organisation I have witnessed first hand the last few weeks, the declining viewership of XWL Breakdown on a weekly basis, and the lack of actions taken by yourself to drive XWL fan base to new heights or even to maintain at the level which this company was at when you took the position given to you. The poor decisions made by yourself as to the hiring of worthless and near non-existent talent littered through out the locker room, the long list of employees hired directly by you, whose job role were deemed unnecessary and have since been removed from their positions. After a long and carefully examined reviewal held directly with the Chairman of the Board and his advisors, as well as the views of the XWL Superstars of whose livelihoods you so wrecklessly endangered last week. I have no choice but to inform you, Hulk Hogan...

Knowing exactly what is about to come out of his mouth the crowd are on their feet booing Laurinaitis louder than ever as Hogan pleads with him to change his mind until the booing ceases and John looks Hogan right in the eyes as he finishes and with a smile on his face, Laurinaitis finishes what he has to say

John Laurinaitis: You're Fired!

Enraged by the decision the boos continue from the crowd as an ever dedicated Hogan fans launches his beverage into the ring aiming for Lauriniatis however misses somewhat spectacularly

John Laurinaitis: And I would like to wish you the very best of luck in all of your future ende..

Before he can finish his word Hogan grabs Laurinaitis by the collar of his shirt as the crowd cheer Hogan, encouraging him on, as he lifts Johnny into the air and plants him with a big Body Slam onto the mat!

Jerry Lawler: Ahhhhh!

Jim Ross: Hogan just slammed Laurinaitis!

Michael Cole: That's no way to treat your boss!

Jim Ross: He's not his boss any more, he just fired him, and Laurinaitis just got exactly what he deserved!

The crowd erupt for Hogan as he slaps his hands together and points down at Laurinaitis signalling for the Big Leg Drop as the crowd continue to cheer for Hogan, and he flips the table over pushing it out of his way, as a group of four or five security run down to the ring and block Hogan away from Johnny quickly ending the crowds cheering

Michael Cole: Talk about being a bad sport! They better get Hogan out of here and send him to the unemployment line where he belongs!

Jerry Lawler: Hogan just lashed out there, and I can't blame him, that's no way to be treated.

Laurinatis slowly gets back to his feet and he starts barking orders at the guards to escort Hogan out of the arena off microphone, and with resistance from Hogan the guards manager to get Hogan out of the ring as Johnny continues barking orders at the guards to remove Hogan from the arena for the final time

Michael Cole: Somebody check on Mr Laurinaitis, make sure he's ok.

Jim Ross: Ladies and gentlemen take a good look, this might unfortunately be the very last time we see Hulk Hogan in XWL.

Jerry Lawler: But who's the new General Manager?

Jim Ross: I don't know King, but this wasn't how I expected this to end tonight. Hulk Hogan, you'll be missed.

With the cameras focused on Hogan being dragged out of the arena by the security staff backed by the incensed booing from the crowd, the cameras slowly fade out as Breakdown heads to a commercial break

*Lights turn off all over the arena*

*Lights turn back on but no one is in the ring*

*Titatron turns on and there he is*



Kassius Ohno: Did you forget about me?I Haven't stepped foot in this company for about a good two maybe three months.I see many things have changed since i last was here,But that doesn't really matter because you see Kassius is back that means more people are gonna have to watch there backs. i was here i fought every week i won almost every match but what really happened?Did Ohno get his opportunity no he didn't but this time it will be different.

*Kassius Pauses*



Kassius Ohno: Take a look at me, I'm back ladies and gentleman i'm in better shape i'm in a better physic i'm ready for what stands in front of me. This elbow is starving somebody is going to get knocked out and you ladies and gentleman have a pass to see this happen that young knockout kid has an elbow of gold!I can cuss with my kicks and i can Knockout with my elbow! I'm not the same kassius as i was a few months ago i am in the shape of my life.

*Kassius lifts up his arm and bangs it on his chest*



Kassius Ohno: This is a personal gift! this body those feet that elbow are all lethal weapons. I don't need a steal chair or a kendo stick or a table to hurt someone i am dangerous and hell i will knock out anyone who stands in my way of the gold. If you though i was dangerous before just wait and see what i have in store now i'm not the same ladies and gentleman i no longer care about the fans i no longer care about what people in the back want it's all about me this time. Because that young knockout kid isn't going nowhere damn right you can believe that.

*Kassius Ohno raises his arm up*



Kassius Ohno: I am up here everyone else is down below me. All i care about is the K and the O and if you're to stupid to know what that  is it's the knockout.Ladies and gentleman the beast has finally crawled out of its cave and it ready to make people pay. I'm entering my 15th year as a professional wrestler, everything you're hearing right now is all me no big Hollywood script writers nothing just me. It doesn't matter f you're at home or here live or even in your grandma's basement this is a message and it goes out to everyone.

Kassius Ohno:Nobody though that i was gonna make it! Everybody though i was gonna be wrestling all my life in high school gyms getting paid 12 dollars a match win or lose. But you know now all those people are scratching there heads wondering what the hell were we thinking? Now i wanna take you guys back to the year 2004 maybe 2005 Kassius Ohno just started to wear less baggy clothes had on a red CH shirt and some white baggy pants on, fighting his ass off all over America and Europe taking the road to one promotion to another Antonio Cesaro just had come out of Switzerland preparing to become one of the greatest wrestlers of this era.



Kassius Ohno: You see i was fortunate enough to watch him grow watch his talents improve Kassius Ohno created an alliance with Antonio but later after we toke pro wrestling by storm we met again in FCW. And now he's in XWL as well it seems like he can never get enough of the elbow but that's perfectly fine because sooner or later he'll be one of the people to get knocked out. I'm back.

[Mickie James] It's just one week away, one week! The days and weeks leading to the Pay Per View seemed so quick because I've been so focused, I can't remember the last time I've been this ready for a match. I have my eye on the ball. Ever since I got to announce that I was the #1 Contender for Madison, I've been on top of the world. I know I have a lot of doubters, a lot of people who say that my time is up or that I don't deserve this shot. But we'll see what they have to say when Madison Eagles is out cold face first on the mat while I have my hand raised as the NEW Divas Champion. Ever since I returned a couple months back, things have just been going up and up. And it's going to continue to go up until I reach the top of the mountain and I'm so close to it I can taste it and now's the time to go harder than ever.



[Mickie James] Next week there's no escaping for Madison, no more of her cheap attacks from behind or running. She's going to be forced to fight a fair fight for once in her life and she's in a war she's not going to win. I pride myself on making history on this division and I'm going to continue to do that when I win the title yet again and take it to levels it's never been at before! I'll be watching the Divas Elimination Chamber closely too, because I know if I beat Madison that'll be my next opponent. Whether it be a former champion or a new challenger, if I beat Madison you'll be looking at a fighting champion for once. The time for talking is almost over and once that bell rings there's gonna be nothing to save Madison from the ass kicking of a lifetime that she deserves so much, and what's going to make it even better is-

Suddenly Mickie stops mid sentence as she notices something.

[Mickie James] Well well well...

With Mickie's attention on the person off screen, Madison Eagles walks into the camera shot with her title over her shoulder as she gets up in Mickie's face as she talks to her progressively getting closer and closer as her speech goes on



Madison Eagles: I'm sorry, seriously, I know I shouldn't of been listening but I couldn't help myself. Everyone loves a good comedy right? Come on, Mickie you've got to admit it, it is kind of hilarious that you actually think that you stand a chance in beating me next week, for MY championship. The reality of it is Mickie, you've been waiting a really long time to call yourself champion again, and unfortunately while in dream land you'll be calling yourself champion next week, the cold harsh truth is the moment that you become Diva's champion again is as far away as it's ever been. At least after I beat you next week you won't be so insanely moronic as to thinking that you even stand a chance of taking MY title away from me. Just admit it you're weak, you're pathetic, you're nothing compared to me. So why don't you just do yourself a favour and go home and not turn up next week to save yourself from the embarrassment of getting knocked out at The Monster Bash.

Mickie ponders to herself for a second before hitting Madison across the jaw with a stiff forearm and tackling her to the ground hitting away at the champion following her totally cheap and completely uncalled her attack, then Eagles turns her over and gets back to her feet quickly and looks to attack Mickie in return but before she can three referee's run over forcing a gap between the two as the champion and challenger start to yell back and forth between each other still trying yet failing to force their way through the referees

Madison Eagles: Get her away from me! Next week Mickie, your mine!

As the two Diva's are forced yet, the cameras slowly fade out to the next segment

We return from the commercial break and the crowd is set for the main event of tonight. Christian versus a currently unknown opponent. Christian stands in the ring, his World Championship draped across his shoulder as his eyes are deadlocked on the stage, waiting to see who Alberto Del Rio chose for him here tonight. The crowd instantly burst into boos as the theme of a certain someone begins to play throughout the arena.





The arena is plunged into darkness and Chris Jericho's jacket provides the only source of light for a few moments before a brilliant flash of pyro explodes.  Jericho spins around clearly full of confidence and very happy with himself after making his rival Daniel Bryan tap out earlier in the night.



Christian looks shocked as the man he embarrassed and humiliated live on Pay-Per-View just a few short weeks ago climbs through the ropes.  The two exchange in a long, intense staredown before the ringbell gets things under way...

Christian takes Jericho down with a huge spinebuster and he begins to get the momentum on his side as he begins to backup into the corner. He crouches down into position to hit the spear, shouting and begging for Jericho to get up so he could hit him with the spear. Jericho begins to move on the mat, using the ropes to get some extra leverage. Christian is about to go in for the kill when he instantly looks up to the stage to hear a theme play throughout the arena, the theme of a man who he has had problems with the past couple of weeks.



It's Alberto Del Rio! The crowd burst into cheers as Christian takes his eyes off of Jericho, moving them to the stage as he eagerly waits for his opponent this Sunday to make his way out from the back. A couple of seconds pass and there is no sign of Alberto, Christian seems to be confused about what exactly is Del Rio's plan here. He turns back around to notice Jericho just getting to his feet and he quickly backs himself back into the corner before charging at Jericho, looking to hit the spear! But Jericho leapfrogs over Christian and Christian is sent shoulder first into the corner, the crowd boos as he holds his shoulder. He stands straight up, holding his shoulder with one hand but as he turns around... CODEBREAKER BY CHRIS JERICHO! The crowd erupts into even more boos as Christian collapses onto the mat following the codebreaker from Chris Jericho. Jericho looks towards the stage himself, making sure that there is no Del Rio or Daniel Bryan to take this victory from him. He covers Christian and goes for the pin.

Chris Jericho has done it!  Chris Jericho has defeated the World Champion!



Jericho revels in the crowd's boos before bending down to the unconscious World Champ to say "Best in the world"... before raising his arms up high in triumph.  Both contender and champion lost momentum on this night, with both men costing the other their respective match-ups.  How will this affect the World Heavyweight Championship match at The Monster Bash?  Jericho smirks knowing that he has gained some huge momentum here tonight before the screen fades away to a commercial break...

 

Tag Team Match


Torrie and Madison are all in the ring staring down Melina who tries to remain confident although as the seconds tick on the odds are increasing that she’ll have to fight these two women on her own. The Ref looks over at Melina who puts on a brave face and tells Eagles and Wilson to bring it on. Seeing that Melina is fine with going solo in this fight. Wilson gets on the apron while Eagles says “it’s your funeral” to Melina and then the ref goes to call for the bell…





There’s a mixed reaction for Kharma has she steps onto the stage with a cold look on her face. Right behind her is Don West, who in contrast has a huge smile on his face as he trails Kharma down the ramp. The eyes of all three women in the ring are on her as the entire landscape of the match has now changed in a heartbeat. West shouts at Melina that she could have been in Kharma’s shoes while Kharma ascends the steel stairs and Breakdown heads to a quick commercial break.



When we return, Eagles has Melina right where she wants her. She hoists the diva into the air, and drops her with a suplex. Satisfied with her contribution to the match, Eagles walks over to Torrie then slaps her across the face which counts as a tag, and a disrespected Torrie has no choice but to get into the ring. She walks over to Melina who has made it to her hands and knees and tries to pull her to her feet but Melina pushes her back towards the ropes. Torrie bounces off and clubs Melina in the face with a forearm the kicks her in the gut and attempts a DDT but it’s reversed by Melina who spins out of Torrie’s grasp then slams her head back against the mat.

Melina goes for a quick cover, but that wasn’t nearly enough to get the three count. As Torrie gets to her feet, Melina races over to the ropes gathering a little momentum but Torrie ducks under her clothesline attempt and they both go racing towards opposite side of the ring. With the same idea in mind they leap into the air and take each other out with a crossbody! As the ref begins his double-down 10-count, the two women begin crawling towards their respective corner. Torrie gets over to Madison and reaches up hoping her partner will meet her halfway. Instead, Madison hops off the apron, walks over to the time keeper to collect her title and starts making her way out of the arena to a chorus of boos.

Distraught, Torrie watches on, then her expression switches to anger and she begins to make her way out of the ring when Kharma grabs a handful of her hair and pulls her back in! Torrie kicks the predator away and scrambles over to the corner but Kharma is right behind her. Torrie stands and Kharma grabs her by the throat and starts choking her. The Ref tries to grab Kharma by the arm to pull it away, but there’s no overpowering her and he’s forced to start a five count: 1! 2! 3! 4! 5! The Ref calls for the bell awarding the victory to Torrie and Madison but that’s not going to stop Kharma from choking the life out of her prey.

West hops onto the apron and tells Kharma that she’s done enough to prove her point and send a message to the women in back. Kharma finally lets go and is about to exit the ring when Melina grabs her shoulder, spins her around, and offers her a handshake. Kharma stares at the outstretched hand for a moment then after several seconds, accepts the shake! But suddenly she spins around and clobbers Melina with a backfist then Melina crumbles to the mat.

Kharma watches as The Ref tends to Melina then she angrily growls and grabs the Ref by the head and stuffs it between her legs. She then hoists him up in the air then slams him down with a monstrous Implant Buster! The crowd boos while West cheers on Kharma and the last thing we seen before Breakdown fades is the unlikely duo of West and Kharma walking up the ramp and disappearing backstage.
