Stone Cold vs. Kevin Steen

*Stone Cold did it! The fans jump to their feet as Stone Cold defeats Kevin Steen. He rolls over and gets onto his feet raising his arms and middle fingers in the air, Steen rolls out of the ring holding his neck after the vicious Stunner that put him away. Austin calls for a beer as one is thrown to him with a catch, he chugs it and throws it down before he reaches for a microphone talking with a heavy breathed voice since he just finished a match.*

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 GgPFRP3

[Stone Cold Steve Austin] I'll tell you, there ain't nothin' better than a good old fashioned ass whoopin' live on Television! *The fans cheer.* Now I gotta admit Kevin Steen put up a hell of a fight and that's what I expected, 'cause this Kevin Steen guy has been running his mouth for a long time calling himself the antichrist of wrestling and swearing at everyone left right and center. That last bit seems a little familiar doesn't it? But at the end of the day when it comes to a fight, no matter who it is or where it is, Stone Cold comes out on top. All it took was the usual, WHAM, Stone Cold Stunner, 1, 2 3. That's not the first case and that's not the last either. Speaking of fights, I had a hell of a fight against Christian at Digital Decision because of you guys voting me in, now I'll admit I knew from the bottom of my heart that ol' Stone Cold was getting the vote because there's nothing more people love than a good brawl. If you voted Stone Cold Steve Austin for Digital Decision.. Gimme a hell yeah!

*Stone Cold raises the mic as the majority of the fans give a huge "HELL YEAH!!" in response. Austin points to the stage while talking now.*

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 5b5C06c

[Stone Cold Steve Austin] That's what I thought! Now Christian, while you put up a fight against Stone Cold Steve Austin, there isn't a man in this company who is going to beat him, not you or anybody! I caught you with that Stone Cold Stunner in mid-air like I don't give a damn! In this business you've got to do whatever it takes to walk out with that win but unfortunately for Christian he paid the price of that gamble. At the end of the day this ain't ballet and I've heard that Christian isn't in the best shape with his neck after that Stunner but if he comes back and wants a piece of Stone Cold for some revenge I'm welcoming it with open arms because I don't back down. Believe me I know what it's like to be sidelined with a neck injury and it ain't pretty, but at the same time it separates the boys from the men to see who actually has the stones to lace up those boots again so time will tell if Christian can do it..

*He points towards the stage yet again continuing.*

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 VwQtkFJ

[Stone Cold Steve Austin] Now for all of you so called "Superstars" in the back, I hope you're watching closely. Take Christian and Kevin Steen as two examples of many more to come. I don't care what you think of me, what I think you of you, just know that if you're an XWL superstar that you're nothing more than a target to Stone Cold Steve Austin. I've got myself a list of each and every one of you and I'm fixing through that list with two names crossed off already and I will not stop until all that's left for me is to win the World Heavyweight Championship and that's the bottom line, cause-

*Suddenly Stone Cold is cut off by..*

*The theme of Corey Graves hits across the arena, to the displeasure of the audience. *

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 YprKPXu

*Graves walks out from behind the curtain, the crowd continue to be hostile towards "The Saviour Of Misbehaviour". Graves just stares down at Austin with a cold stare*

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 FotIYiC

*Graves raises his hands towards Austin, showing his trademark Stay Down tattoo across his knuckles, before ascending down the ramp. and into the ring. *

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 BL5MvES

*When in the ring, he just stares at Stone Cold, before removing his jacket and grabbing a microphone*

[Corey Graves]
Stone Cold Steve Austin... The Texas Rattle Snake.... I've waited a long time for this, to be standing in the same ring as you.. face to face. For many years every wrestler looked up to you, you were exactly what they wanted to be. You had it all, you was not only the face of WWF, but the face of Professional Wrestling. Even I, growing up... wanted to be Stone Cold. I'd sit at home, put on Monday Night Raw and see you doing this like no man did it before. But now Steve, I look ad you and I see a broken... beaten... old man. You're a shadow of what you used to be. Everything you are, this whole act... is stale. Yet these fans, are too stupid to see it. They still buy into this, they still buy into the whole "Toughest SOB on the planet", "The Bionic Redneck". These fans believe it all, but I see through it. I see you for what you really are. But the fact these fans still voted for a beaten, broken old man over someone like Amazing Red, tells me everything I need to know. You've  been involved in this business for a long time, but how many times have you "taken a break" or even walked away from this business just to come crawling back....

*Austin glares at Corey with a stern look as the fans begin to chant "Asshole!" to Corey over and over.*

[Stone Cold Steve Austin] You're gonna have to speak up, because right now there's 16,000 people here calling you an asshole!

*The fans cheer as Corey shakes his head.*

[Stone Cold Steve Austin] Listen, I've seen your type before, the young upstart who comes in here thinking he can take on ol' Stone Cold and get his name in the history books. Well none of those damn kids were able to do it, and you wanna know why? Because I AM the toughest SOB to lace a pair of boots and there's no doubting that fact, just because you think I'm not doesn't mean I can't beat some sense into that little head of yours. This supposed broken down old man can still whoop your ass up and down this ring, did you actually expect the XWL fans to vote a skinny little punk like Amazing Red over Stone Cold Steve Austin? I don't know what world you're living in but you're just like Red, a punk. You walk around here with your fancy little haircut, your tattoos trying to look all tough but all you are is talk. You sure were tough attacking a guy earlier with your buddies but you're on your own now and I've got an ice cold can of whoop ass with your name on it son!

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 Z6POwDk
[Corey Graves]
Trust me, You haven't seen my type before. I am my own type, you've seen NOTHING like me before. You talk and you talk, many years ago you used to back it up.. but now, can you back it up when it mattes the most? When you're in the ring with someone like me, are you still the same Stone Cold? It's fine beating the likes of Christian and Kevin Steen but when you face someone with true talent, I can see it in your eyes, that you're not the same Stone Cold. Let's face it, you haven't opened a real can of whoop ass on anybody for the past 10 years. It's time for you to move on, go home and retire... .It's time for a new face to get a chance in XWL, it's time for ME to get the chance I deserve.

*Stone Cold smirks as he walks up to Corey and puts his hand on his shoulder.*

[Stone Cold Steve Austin] Are you really the one telling me about not backing things up? About talking and talking? You may be out here by yourself but we both know that you can't fight your own fight, if I hit you over the head right now Amazing Red would be running down that ramp as quick as a gunshot. That's why you're acting so tough because you know you have that little ace up your sleeve but I'm not gonna fall for it. But hell, even if little Red came out I'd gladly give him a Stunner into next week for his troubles. Wrestling isn't about "getting" chances, when I was a young upstart I wasn't getting any chances so you know what I did? I took them, I was sick of waiting for chances off people so I began to take my own chances one Stunner at a time. I'm not going to stand back at let someone like you get a spot you don't deserve because you haven't done anything to deserve it! If you people think Corey Graves doesn't deserve a damn thing in this business, gimme a hell yeah!

*The fans burst into a huge response shouting "HELL YEAH!" once again as Corey angrily takes Stone Cold's hand off his shoulder.*

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 IETQaUa
[Corey Graves]
Nobody gives a damn what these people think, these people already showed they don't know a damn thing about this business. They chant Hell Yeah when YOU tell them to, they cheer when YOU tell them to. Because they don't have a mind of their own. These people mean nothing to me and I don't give a damn if they think I deserve anything or not... Because each and every night I come to this I prove it. Red and West aren't going to come to this ring, because I can fight my own battle, I can take on you one on on because I am the saviour of misbehaviour.

[Stone Cold Steve Austin] You don't need to tell me about misbehaving kid. These people can say whatever they damn well please, they do have a mind of their own and that's exactly why they were calling you an asshole earlier tonight! You may think you can fight your own battles but I have one question for you, how are your reflexes?

*Suddenly Austin passes his microphone to Corey as Corey catches it looking confused and then he kicks him in the gut and goes for a Stunner!! The fans pop as he goes for it but Corey manages to push Austin away and roll out of the ring as he leans against the announcers table holding his ribs. Austin begins to laugh and motions that he was "this close" to hitting it.*

*Austin rolls out of the ring and begins to walk up the ramp as he makes his way to the top of the stage posing for the packed crowd tonight.*

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 ZtP6k4U

*The camera pans back to an angry Corey Graves still at ringside watching Austin with clenched fists as we fade away to a video package.*

Following a distraction from Alberto Del Rio, Abyss finished off Kane with a huge Black Hole Slam.

XWL Redemption returns to see Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman standing backstage, having a discussion.

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 YCS4Izd

[Interviewer]
Paul, Curtis... Could I get a quick interview, please?

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 M54ZfMA
[Paul Heyman]
You want an interview? How about you stand there, and I just speak. Because I already know what questions you're going to ask me. You're going to ask me about Triple H aren't you? You're going to ask me why my client Curtis Axel not only attacked, but injured HHH. Because you aren't smart enough to work it out. You see quite a few months ago now, my other client Brock Lesnar had quite a rivalry with Triple H... Whilst Triple H may have got lucky and came out on top, During their rivalry Triple H put his hands on ME. He assaulted me, and now I will get my revenge and my revenge comes through Curtis Axel. You saw for yourself Triple H was left laying in a puddle of his own blood... Triple H was beaten so bad that he couldn't compete at Digital Decision.

Curtis Axel had an opportunity and he grabbed it with both hands, and now he isn't going to let go. We're going to be here, waiting... For Triple H to once again crawl his way back to XWL. And when he does come back, Curtis and I won't be hiding... We'll be waiting to get in his face and send him right back to the hospital bed he came from. Triple H is the past, but this man right here... is the future, and what a better way to put his name in the history books once again by not just taking out but RETIRING Triple H. This man has a name to live up to, he has a legacy to live up to and with my guidance, he can do more than live up to it. So Hunter, if you're sat at home, sat in a hospital bed...wherever you are.... I hope you're paying close attention, because you're looking at the man who is going to end your career... That's if you even dare to come back to XWL. If the attack at Digital Decision didn't already make you realise that you can't continue. What about your poor family Triple H?

How do you think Stephanie felt watching her husband on World Wide Pay Per View... be left laying in a puddle of his own blood? How do you think your daughters felt seeing daddy get hurt? Do you think they can handle to see it anymore? Can you cope with your daughters crying to mommy every time my client beats you? You need to think it over Triple H... is it all worth it? Is it worth hurting your family just to hang onto this business for as long as you can? Move on Triple H, let the future take over... Let this man take over. Because whether you let it happen or not it's going to happen. Whilst you still have the ability to pick up your children.... Step away from this company.

To many people having a legacy like mine would be too much pressure... I THRIVE on that pressure. I thrive on not only replicating the success of my father, but to better it. And What a better way to start with a man who my father knew well a man who my father even supported. I've had a brief taste of success in this company already, Intercontinental Champion, Mr Money In The Bank... and I even had a shot at the World Championship... but I fell just short. But now with Paul Heyman at my side, I won't fall short, I'll become a star and you could say I will be come absolutely  perfect...

The camera goes backstage where Drew McIntyre is shown standing by next to a camera.

Interviewer
Drew before we begin this interview let’s just have a look at what exactly happened last week at Digital Decision when you went up against the former World Heavyweight Champion, Joey Ryan.

The camera fades out to footage from Digital Decision where the match is announced as a First Blood match before showing the final scenes of the match

Drew dosen’t enter the ring and seems like he is frustrated. He grabs something out of his shoe but it is unseen to the fans. He has an evil smirk on his face as he rolls back into the ring. Joey took a hard hit to the head off the barricade and looks to be pretty dazed as Drew rolls in. Drew picks up Joey and irish whips him into the ropes before ducking and moving out of the way. Joey runs straight into the ref and knocks him down to the mat! Joey is stunned and tries to plead his innocence but Drew picks up and takes advantage and quickly spins Joey around before hitting the future shock DDT. Joey is on the floor passed out and Drew is in complete control. He goes and seems to take a bite of something before going close to the head of Joey. He has a sachet of fake blood which he is pouring on Joey’s head.

Joey isn’t bleeding but it looks as though he has a deep cut on his forehead. Drew rushes and picks the ref up and points to Joey. The ref notices and instantly calls for the bell. The crowd are angry and annoyed and boo Drew as he rolls out of the ring quickly to a heated reaction from the crowd. Drew smiles to himself before shouting “YOU’RE NOTHING COMPARED TO ME”. Drews theme hits as the ref checks on Joey. He is slowly coming to his senses and can’t tell what has just happened. The camera fades out on Joey as he slowly realises what has just occurred and is shown punching the mat in frustration.

The camera goes back to Drew as he continues to watch as the monitor fades out. He has a weird smirk on his face as he slowly turns back towards the camera.

Interviewer
Drew, do you have any reasoning to explain why you cheated? I mean it’s blatant we all saw it.

Drew raises his finger stopping the interviewer and pushes his hair back. He gives of an intense stare but before he can say anything suddenly he is tackled to the ground! Joey Ryan, fresh backstage from his loss against Chris Jericho is showing no effects of the match as he jumps across and takes Drew down, delivering a series of blows to the head as Drew is trying to protect himself. Security come in and quickly stop the brawl and manage to get these two men apart. Joey is pulled off and is heard shouting “NOBODY SCREWS JOEY RYAN OVER!” The camera fades in on Drew who is checking his lip, where a little bit of blood is shown. “THIS ISN’T OVER DREW!” can be heard in the distance from Joey…

-Apologies for the match not actually getting posted last week, it did get wrote up but just not posted cause me and jiggas were both out on the night and forgot to let each other know. So just added the final part in here so it can carry it on-

AJ Lee vs. Torrie Wilson

After a back and forth match, AJ is able to pick up the win. She celebrates in the ring for a bit before Redemption fades into a short commercial break.

The lights dim as the eyes of our live audience focus in on the tron where they see a side-profile of Taryn Terrell, a signature smile on her face as she approaches somebody yet to be revealed to our camera's view.

[Taryn Terrell]
Hey AJ, I just wanted to congratulate you on your big win tonight. You did such a great job, that match was entertaining from bell to bell.

The cameras expand to reveal the victor in the first round of the Queen of the Ring tournament, AJ Lee.

[AJ Lee]
Wow, um, thanks Taryn.

[Taryn Terrell]
No problem at all. How are things with Daniel? If you don't mind me asking.

[AJ Lee]
Fine. Why wouldn't they be? What have you heard?

[Taryn Terrell]
Nothing, I was just-

[AJ Lee]
Good. The last thing I need right now is another problem.

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 S1e4tRF

[Taryn Terrell]
AJ, are you sure you're alright?

[AJ Lee]
I'm fine. Completely fine. Totally fine. In fact, I'm more fine than I've ever been in my entire life.

Taryn gave AJ a very odd expression, looking as though she were prepared to take a step back, or two.

[AJ Lee]
Not, like that.

The two divas stared off for a moment in a bit of an awkward silence before Taryn inhaled before continuing the conversation any further.

[Taryn Terrell]
Listen AJ, I-

Before Taryn could finish her thought, a voice is heard echoing down the corridor, as a familiar, “No!” fills the air. Every time he passes a person, he lets out his signature, “No!” cutting them off before they could speak. A man struggling to carry a decent sized box walks into the shot, causing Bryan to smack the box out of his hands, sending it down to the floor. The man opens his mouth to speak but is quickly stopped in his tracks with a, “No!” He tries to speak again, only to yield the same result. He tries a third time before finally giving up, shaking his head in the process. The man goes to pick his box back up, only for Bryan to kick it away from his grasp before making his way towards AJ and Taryn.

[Daniel Bryan]
AJ, there you are. Where have you been?

[AJ Lee]
I've-

[Daniel Bryan]
It doesn't matter. The plan worked! Just like I told you it would! Ambrose never saw it coming, you should have seen the look on his face.

[AJ Lee]
Actually, I-

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 7eHTB6R

[Daniel Bryan]
AJ, please, men are talking. You said it wouldn't work but it did, what do you have to say for yourself?

[AJ Lee]
I never-

[Daniel Bryan]
Of course you didn't. All that matters is that both of us are moving on to the next round in the tournament and after it's all said and done, we'll be the king and queen of the world!

[AJ Lee]
Daniel?

[Daniel Bryan]
What?

AJ looks at Bryan before motioning with her eyes towards Taryn's direction, causing Bryan to turn to his right.

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 ZM5jec6

[Daniel Bryan]
Who are you?

[Taryn Terrell]
I'm Taryn Terrell, who are you?

Taryn, obviously familiar with who Bryan was, decided to play a bit of mind games with the erratic superstar.

[Daniel Bryan]
Who am I? I'm The American Dragon, I'm the World's Toughest Vegan, I am an Evil Genius, but most importantly, I am a man! Just look at my manly beard!

[Taryn Terrell]
You know, I can't decide if your “beard” actually looks good, or just does a really good job at hiding the rest of your face.

Bryan attempts to counter Taryn's statement but is stopped by the sound of AJ laughing behind him, who quickly pretends to clear her throat shortly after.

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 KSbbK0m

[Daniel Bryan]
What was that?

[AJ Lee]
What was what?

[Daniel Bryan]
That laugh.

[AJ Lee]
What laugh?

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 GlEHs7z

[Daniel Bryan]
I just heard you laughing.

[AJ Lee]
That wasn't me, Daniel, you're hearing things.

[Daniel Bryan]
What?

[AJ Lee]
I'm your evil sidekick, why would I laugh at you?

Before Bryan could come up with an answer, he turns his attention back to Taryn.

[Daniel Bryan]
You're just jealous, just like everybody else is, because you can't grow a beard as manly as mine.

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 XNIBWQi

[Taryn Terrell]
Jealous? Daniel, if I had so much as a fraction of that scraggly bush you constantly try to pass off for a beard anywhere close to my face, I'd be too embarrassed to leave the house, much less parade it around on live television like a complete buffoon.

[Daniel Bryan]
A buffoon? If I'm a buffoon, then I'm the manliest buffoon this world has ever seen! But you'll still be a woman and that's a fate worse than death. Right, AJ?

[AJ Lee]
Daniel, you do realize that-

[Daniel Bryan]
You're my sidekick? Of course!

[Taryn Terrell]
I think you'll find most people would agree that no fate would be worse than that of a goat.

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 PcuWHeg

Bryan's expression quickly changes after Taryn is finished speaking, almost as if the mention of the word has put him in a trance-like state.

[AJ Lee]
Daniel?

The look on his face remains unchanged, as AJ trying to communicate with Bryan has fallen on deaf ears. The state is quickly broken with a loud, “NO!” as Bryan looks at Taryn with anger in his eyes.

[Daniel Bryan]
I am not a goat! I am a man, I have a beard! I will not stand for this! I challenge you to a match later tonight, a mixed tag match! The future King and Queen of the Ring against you and a partner of your choosing! It doesn't matter who you choose because in the end, they will either, snap or tap. Let's go, AJ, we got a match to prepare for.

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 6booDwb

Bryan and AJ walk away, leaving Taryn alone in the corridor, almost unsure of what to think about this challenge that seemingly came out of nowhere. She shrugs her shoulders before walking down the corridor and taking a right, leaving the view of the camera, possibly to find a partner as Redemption fades to a short commercial break.

Daniel Bryans theme blasts through the arena to a mixed reaction as him and AJ come scrolling out from behind the curtain looking as confident as ever...

The theme of the one and only Taryn Terrell begins to play, signaling an array of cheers for the returning diva. She walks out from the back and onto the stage, a confident aura surrounding her. Taryn raises her arms into the air in her usual fashion before shaking her hips left and right for a moment. She lowers her arms back down to her side and looks towards the ring, where both Daniel Bryan is shown getting impatient as AJ looks on innocently. The feigned confidence begins to show its cracks when a bit of nervousness shows itself in the shape of Taryn grinding her teeth behind her smile. She lets out a short sigh and begins to slowly descend the entrance ramp, but has she found a partner to aid her in this Mixed Tag Team Match? About halfway down the ramp, she is stopped in her tracks as a familiar sound fills the air...

But instead of The Shield's signature theme playing, it is one that hasn't been heard in quite some time. The theme of the seemingly unhinged member of The Shield, Dean Ambrose, begins to play throughout the arena as the live audience in attendance rain down boos directed at him. Daniel Bryan and AJ are shown quickly scanning the crowd, in an attempt to locate The Shield.

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 Iq99UZpbEFvyL

Their attempts are in vain, as Ambrose walks out from behind the curtain. Anger and hatred fill his eyes as he looks towards the ring, locking eyes with the man that cost him his shot at becoming the King of the Ring earlier in the evening. He doesn't stop at the top of the stage, instead, he makes a beeline towards the ring, removing his jacket and tossing it to the floor besides him. Ambrose inches closer and closer to the ring with every passing second, with only one thing in mind: Revenge. Bryan notices that Ambrose shows no signs of slowing down and instructs AJ to exit the ring. She gets out just as Ambrose storms past Taryn, not paying her any attention as his focus is clearing on Daniel Bryan.

Bryan prepares himself for Ambrose's inevitable and incoming assault. Ambrose wastes no time rolling into the ring, causing Bryan to charge at him the second he entered. Ambrose is able to make it to his feet in time and both men begin unloading swift but stiff rights to the other. Both men are going blow for blow, even after their grueling Steel Cage Match twenty four hours ago and their respective matches earlier in the evening, the hatred for the other man has consumed them as they show no signs of halting their offense.

Both AJ and Taryn look at this seemingly endless battle between the two heated rivals in the ring from opposite ends of the ring, unsure if the match is still happening or if it has been thrown out due to Ambrose's appearance. The ref stays back and lets this war between both men continue, clearly not wanting any part of it. A stray knee to the abdomen stops Bryan's offense temporarily in its tracks. Ambrose takes another swing but wildly misses as Bryan falls backwards and exits out of the ring, with Ambrose following suit. A short game of cat and mouse ensues as Bryan runs a quarter around the ring before sliding back in, with Ambrose close behind.

Bryan ricochets and flies back towards Ambrose, who has just slid into the ring, and attempts a clothesline. Ambrose ducks it with ease and bounces off the very same ropes that Bryan just did and lands a hard lariat on The American Dragon, turning him inside out. He uses the ropes to stop his momentum and takes a moment to look out to the crowd, who are booing him heavily. The sound of the ring bell causes Ambrose to turn around, as now the match has officially started, and looks at the ref, who motions to Ambrose that this contest is now underway. Ambrose looks towards the ramp where Taryn is still standing, a mixture of emotions appearing on her face. On one hand, she has found herself a partner for this match, as inadvertent as it was. But on the other, her “partner” is the psychotic member of The Shield in Dean Ambrose.

Ambrose walks over to the turnbuckle before motioning to Taryn, telling her to get on the apron. Before she could answer, however, she shouts out, “Look out!” causing Ambrose to turn right into a running dropkick, courtesy of Daniel Bryan. Ambrose drops to the mat in a heap as Bryan shouts out, “No!” AJ climbs up onto the apron as Taryn makes her way to the ringside area before doing the same. Bryan begins to size up Ambrose, who is back to his knees and holds his jaw from the dropkick just a moment ago.

Bryan begins to unload kick after kick on Ambrose's chest, letting out a “No!” with is brutal kick, which causing the live audience in attendance to counter it with a “Yes!” only infuriating him even more so than he already is.

No!

Yes!

No!

Yes!

No!

No!

No!

Bryan takes multiple steps backwards to wind up the final kick, which is usually directed to the head. He charges forward and aims for the fences, but just a split second before it could connect, Ambrose is able to duck under it and pushes Bryan towards the ropes. The second Bryan's back hits said ropes, Ambrose is already in the air and lands a surprise dropkick on the unknowing Daniel Bryan, who falls to the mat.

AJ looks on with a worried expression etched on her face as the tables have seemingly turned once more in this match. Ambrose grabs a hold of Bryan's head by his hair and puts his boot on the side of his cheek, before stomping on the mat, running the length of the boot across the side of his face. Bryan holds his face as the friction between Ambrose's boot and his skin could have been anything but good. Ambrose positions himself over Bryan and pulls his hand down to get a grip on the manly beard of Daniel Bryan. He pulls up, causing Bryan to look up at the seemingly dead eyes of Dean Ambrose, possibly showing that he's done messing around. His rather stoic expression is replaced with a smirk as he brings his free arm down, clubbing Bryan's exposed chest with it, almost as if he's returning the favor for the kicks earlier. Then, almost uncharacteristically, Ambrose shouts out, “No!” mocking his rival. And it seems that the mind games have begun.

No!

No!

No!

With each strike hitting its mark, the sound of Ambrose's fist hitting Bryan's chest seems echo slightly into the first few rows of the crowd. Ambrose places his foot on Bryan's back before shoving him back down to the mat. AJ is heard shouting words of encouragement to Bryan, who is trying to make it back to his feet. Ambrose drops down to a knee besides Bryan, pounding the mat with a fist, signaling that this one could be close to being over. After a few hits to the mat, Bryan is shown rising to his feet, prompting Ambrose to do the same. Before Bryan can fully make it to his feet, he's spun around and lifted onto Ambrose's shoulders in an attempt to hit the Midnight Special. Bryan is able to escape his grip and pushes Ambrose away before rolling to his corner and tagging in his unsuspecting sidekick, AJ.

Ambrose looks almost slightly perplexed as to why Bryan would tag in AJ to face him in this match. The ref begins to instruct Ambrose that he has to tag out since you're only able to face your own gender in a mixed tag match. Bryan is shown evilly smirking outside the ring, knowing full well that Ambrose has to make a tag that he obviously doesn't want to make. Ambrose gives the ref a cold glare before walking towards his corner and locking eyes with his “partner” in this match, Taryn Terrell. Taryn looks uneasy at getting a closer look at Ambrose, who is radiating hatred given from the expression on his face. Ambrose slowly extends his arm towards Taryn, who hesitates to tag herself in but eventually does. Ambrose looks back across the ring at Bryan, who is now back on the apron, before exiting out to the apron.

With both Taryn and AJ entering the match for the first time, it quickly becomes clear that both divas are complete opposites from their respective partners, neither showing the slightest amount of hate towards the other. The circle around one another before locking up in the center of the ring. Taryn is the clear winner of the battle of strength and locks in a side headlock on the smaller AJ Lee. AJ pushes Taryn off of her and shoots her into the ropes, causing her to bounce back and takes AJ down with a shoulder block. Taryn runs at the adjacent ropes and hops over AJ before ricocheting back, only to get sent to the mat with an arm drag. Taryn makes it back to her feet and gets hit with another arm drag. Taryn rises up again and blocks a third arm drag attempt, hitting a snapmare instead and follows up with a low dropkick. AJ holds the back of her head and makes it to her knees as Taryn has already ran at and bounced off the ropes, hitting a corkscrew neckbreaker on AJ. Taryn goes for the first pinfall attempt of the match.

1...

2...

Kickout!

AJ gets her shoulder up off the mat with relative ease, as Taryn checks with the official to see if it was a three. He waves it off as a two and the match is kept alive. Taryn lifts AJ up to her feet but her grip is quickly broken and followed up with forearm shots from AJ. She's backed into the turnbuckle and forces AJ off of her with a huge push. AJ flies halfway across the ring and is able to roll back to her feet and lands a dropkick on the incoming Taryn, who holds her jaw, obviously not expecting the dropkick. AJ follows up with a pinfall attempt.

1..

Kickout!

It is now Taryn's turn to get her shoulder off the mat and breaks the count. AJ stays on the offensive by locking in a side headlock on the downed Taryn Terrell and applies pressure to the hold. Taryn lands a few shots to AJ's exposed abdomen and forces her off with a push, causing her to bounce off the ropes and come back in her direction. Using her quick thinking, she trips up AJ with a drop toe hold, sending her into the middle rope, neck first. AJ rolls around the mat with her hands on her neck as she makes it back to her feet and is quickly dropped with a clothesline, courtesy of Taryn. She follows up with a second one.

AJ gets up, slightly dazed from clotheslines, giving Taryn the perfect opportunity to land a swift suplex on her opponent. Instead of going for the pin, she lifts AJ back up to her feet and lands a few good forearm shots, sending her back onto the ropes. Taryn Irish Whips AJ across the ring but before she could execute what ever she had planned, AJ is able to hit a running hurricanrana, sending Taryn to the mat. Taryn makes it back to her feet, almost falling back down but manages to keep her balance. AJ wraps her arms around Taryn's head and attempts to land a standing sliced bread, trying to end this one early. Taryn is able to throw AJ a few feet across the ring, avoiding the maneuver, before she charges forward in an attempt to hit what looks like her spear. AJ is able to sidestep it, causing Taryn to collide face first with the middle turnbuckle. This give AJ the perfect opening to quickly lock in her signature submission hold, the Black Widow.

Many moments pass as Taryn is still locked in the deadly hold, fighting the urge to tap on her return match. Just when it seemed she would give in to the temptation and submit, Ambrose enters the ring, causing the ref to change his focus and AJ to break the hold, backing up to her corner due to the unpredictability of Dean Ambrose. The ref cuts off Ambrose and tells him to exit the ring as Bryan is heard shouting, “Do your damn job, ref!” Ambrose doesn't pay much attention to the ref, instead, his attention is on the man across the ring from him, Daniel Bryan. Was this part of Ambrose's plan, to save the match for himself, or was it just as inadvertent as being Taryn's partner tonight?

Taryn makes it back to her feet with the help of the ropes as AJ is shown extending her arm towards Bryan, asking him if he wants to tag back in. Bryan lets out a, “No!” as AJ mouths, “Okay.” AJ returns her focus to Taryn, who is at the turnbuckle, and runs towards her with something in mind. She's sent stumbling backwards with a back elbow from Taryn. AJ charges forward again, persistent on hitting her move, but it yields the same result. She tries one more time but this time, she's met with a boot to the jaw, sending her back and to a knee.

Using this opportunity to her advantage, Taryn exits out to the apron and scales the turnbuckle, waiting for AJ to make it back to her feet. She does, and Taryn soars through the air as she attempts to land a picture perfect crossbody from the top rope, but AJ has other plans and jumps up into the air, landing a dropkick on the airborne Taryn Terrell, almost knocking the breath out of her body. Taryn rolls around in the ring, holding her abdomen in pain as AJ is shown trying to make it back to her feet. Taryn begins crawling to her corner as AJ does the same. The camera cuts to Bryan and Ambrose, who are engaged in a heated stare down from across the ring, not taking their eyes of the other. Ambrose looks towards his “partner” and sees her extending her arm towards him as she's still a few feet away. He notices AJ nearing Bryan and extends his arm towards Taryn, making the tag and getting back into the mix. Bryan tags himself in and both men charge one another once again.

Stiff rights filled with pure hatred for the other man are swung by both men as the battle for superiority continues. Just when it seemed Ambrose would gain the upper hand once again, Bryan is able to duck a punch and lands a huge roundhouse kick, sending Ambrose out of the ring through the middle rope. Bryan runs towards the ropes in the opposite end of the ring, and bounces off of them as Ambrose makes it back to his feet and turns right into a huge suicide dive, sending him back first into the announcers table. It didn't look like Bryan got all of the move but enough to keep Ambrose down, as the ref begins his count.

1...

2...

3...

4...

Both men begin showing signs of life as AJ and Taryn look on at the bodies lying outside the ring.

5...

Bryan is the first to his knees, still feeling the effects of catching a part of the announcers table while Ambrose has his arm draped over the cover of said table.

6...

Ambrose uses the announcers table to lift himself back up as Bryan decides to use the apron.

7...

Both men are now on their feet and are unaware just how close they are to being counted out. One look at the other causes Bryan to charge at Ambrose, who is one step ahead, and steps aside, grabbing the back of Bryan's head, sending him flying over the announcers table and into the barricade.

8...

Ambrose drags Bryan towards the ring and before he has a chance to inflict more damage, he hears a voice call out to him. He turns around to see who's the voice calling to him. It is quickly revealed to be Taryn, who is now motioning at him to throw Bryan back into the ring.

9...

Ambrose looks into the ring and just when it seemed that the match was going to continue, Bryan is thrown into the ring steps instead.

10!

A smirk appears on Ambrose's face, it becomes apparent that his intention wasn't to win this impromptu match, he just wanted to hurt Bryan. The match comes to an end as the ref calls for the bell, ending this match in a double count out. Given the evil expression on Ambrose's face, the match may be over but this war is far from over. Ambrose throws Bryan back into the ring before sliding back in himself. He begins pounding the mat repeatedly as Bryan slowly makes it to his feet. This time, Ambrose doesn't waste a second of time and picks up Bryan on his shoulders. Bryan tries to fight out of it but to no avail, and is dropped with a Midnight Special.

Ambrose extends his arms and shouts out, “I am the Dragon Slayer!” as Bryan lays on the mat, seemingly out of it. Unbeknownst to Ambrose, AJ has entered the ring with a steel chair in hand. She tries to swing it but the second she winds it back, she's speared out of her boots by Taryn. Ambrose turns around and sees a laid out AJ Lee with a chair next to her unconscious body and Taryn standing tall above her. It takes him a moment to put the pieces together before he nods his head and shifts his focus back to Bryan. Ambrose backs himself into a corner and lowers his knee pad before raising his arm into the air in the shape of a gun. He hesitates in pulling the trigger, is he having second thoughts? Instead, he shifts his attention to Bryan's sidekick, AJ.

Hate fills his eyes once more but before he could pull the trigger, Taryn stands in front of him in an attempt to stop him from possibly ending the career of AJ Lee. Ambrose is shown mouthing, “Get out of my way, woman.” but Taryn just shakes her head from side to side. His arm is slowly lowering as Taryn places her hand over his, hoping that he will think his decision through. A moment passes by before the gun he's shaped his hand into fades and his arm is lowered to his side. Although it doesn't seem like Ambrose will take out AJ on this night, the hate is still in his eyes, but who is it directed to now?

Taryn smiles at Ambrose, knowing that she made him rethink what he had in mind and before Ambrose could say what he was going to, he spots Bryan charging at him and Taryn with a chair. Ambrose pushes Taryn out of harms way and takes the full force of the chair shot, causing him to bleed from his forehead on impact. Ambrose falls to a seated position on the bottom turnbuckle as Bryan's relentless assault doesn't seem to be coming to an end. That is, until the theme of The Shield begins to play, causing Bryan to pick AJ up off the mat and hightails it out of the ring. The Shield enter the ring just as Bryan has exited. They check on Ambrose as Bryan walks up the ramp with AJ in tow. Ambrose is shown bleeding profusely as he looks out to the stage, where Bryan is standing at now, with a look that simply says, “This isn't over.” Ambrose and Bryan engage in one final stare down as Rollins and Reigns are shown livid in the ring. The last image shown is Bryan standing tall as Redemption fades into a commercial break.

*Ted climbs up to the top rope after dodging Ziggler’s elbow drop, but Dolph rolls out of the ring right before Ted can connect with the diving fist drop! Dolph lets out a smirk before sliding back into the ring. He grabs the leg, only to get kicked off and pushed back. Ted hammers him with a few huge rights, then sending him off the ropes. The two duck each other back and forth for a few seconds before Ted nearly breaks Dolph in half with a HUGE clothesline. Ted grabs Dolph, but his amatuar background comes in handy. He grapples Ted to the ground, connecting with a german suplex by the end of everything. Dolph stalks him, waiting for him to get up. The fans to cheer Ted on, but it’s no use as Dolph drops him with the Fameasser! The fans hiss at the “Show Off”, who flips his hair and shouts “DAMN I’M GOOD.” He yells at Ted to get up, signaling for the end of the match. Dolph looks to seal his World Title shot with a Zig Zag, but Ted throws him off! Dolph is stunned, allowing Ted to hit the Dream Street!*

Michael Cole: Noooo!

Jim Ross: Dream street! This could be it right here! Dolph better do something quick!

Jerry Lawler: Cover him, Ted!

*The Jacksonville crowd explodes, as it seems like Ted may finally get his title shot. After the year he’s been through, he deserves it, right? And how fitting would it be that he finally got it his rightful rematch one year after it all started at Supremacy. Dolph is out cold on the mat, and Ted lets out a huge, premature victory roar. Right before he goes for the cover however, there seems to be a bit of commotion in the crowd. The referee is confused as he scans the arena, rather than making the cover. Ted lays there with Dolph’s leg hooked in shock, but soon it turns into anger. He stands up and turns the ref around, asking what the hell he is doing. The referee has no time to explain as someone has slid into the ring. The referee warns Ted to turn around, and he complies, just to get nailed by the World Heavyweight Championship! Cody Rhodes! Cody Rhodes is here, and he just laid out Ted DiBiase! The referee, with no other choice, throws out the match.*

Jim Ross: By god! Cody just laid out Ted from out of nowhere!

Michael Cole: Yes! Thank you, Cody! Cody Rhodes saves the day again!

Jerry Lawler: Shut it, Cole. Cody just ruined an awesome match simply because of his giant ego. This is ridiculous.

Michael Cole: Ted deserves this! He took away Cody’s moment, so now Cody is taking away his! Justice, I tell you, justice!

*Cody leans against the ropes with an evil smirk on his face. He holds his World Title in one hand as he looks down at Ted, who rolls around in pain while also holding the back of his head. The referee approaches Cody, telling him to get out of the ring now. Cody shoots him a look before breaking out into an uncontrollable laugh. As he approaches him, however, the laugh goes away in a favor of a much more sinister face. He scowls at the ref, before giving him another smile. The referee is beyond confused at this point, but he doesn’t have much time to think as Cody shoves him to the ground! He kicks him in the stomach, dumping him out of the ring. The fans are unanimously chanting “CODY SUCKS!” as he turns his attention over to the man he beat for the title, Dolph Ziggler. He carefully places the title in the mat, waiting for Dolph to get up. Ziggler gets up using the ropes, but he staggers, which is perfect for Cody as he jumps off the ropes, nailing the Beautiful Disaster Kick!*

Jerry Lawler: Oh no!

Jim Ross: This has gotten out of hand, Cody has no respect for anybody but himself! Nobody is off bounds to him, not his fellow athletes or the officials!

Michael Cole: He’s Cody Rhodes! The World Heavyweight Champion! He can do whatever the hell he wants!

Jim Ross: My ass he can do what he wants. Whatever happened to pride and integrity? That’s what makes a REAL champion.

*Now that Dolph is out of the picture, Cody turns his attention back to Ted. It’s clear Ted has no idea where he is, his eyes have nearly rolled into the back of his head. Cody squats down, yelling at Ted to get up. Ted DiBiase is the man who “stole his moment”, and now he wants to take it back. Cody promised to get revenge for what Ted did at Digital Decision, and now seems to be the time for that. As he watches Ted struggle to get up, he laughs again. Like he finds it funny Ted can barely stand after the huge shot from the title Cody blindsided him with. As Ted finally gets up, Cody delivers a swift kick to the midsection. He grabs ahold of his rival, quickly putting him back down with the Cross Rhodes! The fans continue to jeer Cody, but he doesn’t care. He grabs his World Title and poses with it in the center of the ring.*

XWL Redemption Supershow: 7/7/2013 - 7/14/2013 - Page 3 Normal_273

Jim Ross: Is this what we’re in store for with Cody Rhodes as our World Champion? What a disgrace!

Jerry Lawler: This kid has no boundaries, somebody needs to stop him, and quick!

Michael Cole: This is great! Ladies and gentlemen, your NEW World Heavyweight Champion, Cody Rhodes!

*The camera pans to the lifeless bodies of Ted, Dolph, and the official. Redemption closes with the shot of Cody standing tall in the center of the ring, holding the World Title up high with a smile on his face while shouting “THIS IS MY MOMENT!” How will Hulk Hogan respond after the World Champion ruined his huge main event? What will Ted and Dolph do to get their revenge on the “Dashingly Insane One”? What consequences will Cody have to face for his actions tonight. And perhaps our biggest question is still yet to be answered - who will face Cody for the championship at Supremacy?*
