DOWNPOUR PPV AWARDS

MALE COMPETITOR OF THE SHOW

PPV Awards: Downpour QtaRQhy

Drew McIntyre declared that he was going to be setting an example at Downpour. He was going to enter the chamber as the first competitor, mow down the competition, and walk out STILL your World Heavyweight Champion. A lot of men talk a big game but Drew McIntyre was able to talk a bit game and back those words up. He became the second person (and the first male wrestler) to enter the Elimination Chamber as champion and exit the chamber as champion. Drew didn't just stick to the sidelines and allow everyone else to do all the work either. Our World Heavyweight Champion proved his dominance by eliminating Tyler Breeze, Daniel Bryan, and the Velveteen Dream to secure his victory. If five men and a structure made of cold steel couldn't stop McIntyre's sudden rise to the top, what's it going to take to stop the Scottish Psychopath?

RUNNER UP: Chris Sabin

FEMALE COMPETITOR OF THE SHOW

PPV Awards: Downpour 0GiDE2B

While one champion defended their championship, another superstar regained their championship inside of Elimination Chamber. Some said that it was a dumb decision on Tessa's part to use her rematch clause to enter the chamber. Some wondered why she didn't take her rematch in a one-on-one match against whoever won the championship inside of the chamber. Tessa proved why she's a fighter and one of the best this division has to offer to each and every single fan who tunes into XWL programming. She entered the chamber, put everything on the line, and proceeded to take the championship back from the woman who took it from her.  Her night ended with another show of respect between her and the former champion but with Kairi having a rematch clause, Tessa shouldn't get too comfortable yet. Kairi took the championship once and it could surely happen again.

PROMO OF THE SHOW

PPV Awards: Downpour B4R6eTV

Elias took center stage at Downpour and didn't waste any time laying into nearly each and every superstar on the roster. No man nor woman who appeared on the last episode of Anarchy was safe. Some were spared for now. Some like the likes of Mandy Rose who Elias seems to have a soft spot for but if he was looking to make some enemies upon his return then surely Elias has done a good job at that. The fans didn't seem to take to his comments to kindly either as he insulted St. Louis and the people in attendance. However, one has to wonder something... Why tease people with Nelly of all people? It's 2019! Surely no one has cared about Nelly since the early 2000's. Regardless, Elias has a way with words and surely this will not be the last time we hear from him.

RUNNER UP: Bray Wyatt

OMG MOMENT OF THE SHOW

TCSI do a clean sweep inside the Elimination Chamber

The once unlikely duo of Chad Gable and Chris Sabin has recently taken tag team wrestling by storm and been unstoppable... and then the Elimination Chamber came along. There was no chance they could win some said. This was going to be the end of their reign as Tag Team Champions others said. The Trash City Stupid Idiots didn't just win the match and defend their championships. That wasn't the most shocking piece from tonight's show. The most shocking moment came when everything was all said and done. Chad Gable and Chris Sabin eliminated every member of the other two teams without suffering a single fall themselves and stood tall at the end with one another and their championships still with them. If these two couldn't take a single fall... then what's it going to take to strip these men of their championships?

RUNNER UP: QOTR announcement / Aiden requesting his release / Drew McIntyre retaining / Matt Sydal retaining / Paul Heyman as Rousey's advocate / Vince restarts the North American Championship match

MATCH AND FEUD OF THE SHOW

PPV Awards: Downpour S4nkq010

Once again, Matt Sydal and Buddy Murphy have stolen the show and put on another match worth remembering. Sixty minutes these two went and for sixty minutes these two men gave it their best for the Intercontinental Championship. Murphy entered with a lot of confidence and at times it did seem as though he was going to defend his Intercontinental Championship. The Iron Man proved why matches like these are his specialty. In the last couple of seconds of the match, Matt Sydal was quick to roll up the newcomer and secure the deciding fall without leaving Murphy any time to counter with a fall to tie up the score. His hometown fans exploded in joy as they watched their superstar come out on top and add yet another championship to the resume. To Buddy's credit, Undisputed Era did not get involved but that perhaps was his biggest mistake of the night.

Listen y'all. I don't know what to tell you regarding feud besides Alexa Bliss versus Mandy Rose should've won. Compared to him and Sam, David and I didn't really do shit to build a feud in this match.
