INTERNATIONAL INCIDENT PPV AWARDS

MALE COMPETITOR OF THE SHOW

PPV Awards: International Incident QtaRQhy

JBL's World Heavyweight Championship reign has come to an end only one month after it began thanks to Drew McIntyre. The Scottish Superstar marched into his home country with gold on his mind and no man would stop him from taking what he felt he deserved. The odds of winning might've been not in his favor with Aiden English being in the match but he says may the odds be damned. A Claymore Kick to the skull of the Texan and a three count marked the beginning of a new World Heavyweight Champion - the first World Championship for Drew McIntyre in his time with the company.  He received a hero's ovation upon his win, however, the reaction might not be the same upon his returned to the United States. Regardless, Drew McIntyre is our new World Heavyweight Champion.

RUNNER UP: Buddy Murphy

FEMALE COMPETITOR OF THE SHOW

PPV Awards: International Incident IPnJsrB

Tessa Blanchard was on top of the world after being the woman to dethrone Natalya, however, like JBL, her reign was cut short before she could even begin to enjoy it. The Pirate Princess boarded Blanchard's ship, fought the captain with all her might, and raided her of all her gold. It wasn't an easy fight. It was perhaps the hardest fight of Kairi Sane's life. Neither woman wanted to lose this match since but alas, one woman had to give in eventually. Kairi not only won the championship but also the respect of the former champion as the show shook hands after the match. With the Elimination Chamber looming in the distance, you have to wonder if Kairi Sane won the championship at perhaps the worst time possible or will she have enough fight in her to go up against five other women?

RUNNER UP: Mandy Rose

PROMO OF THE SHOW

PPV Awards: International Incident Aiden_10

For the second show in a row, Aiden English has stolen the hearts of the XWL Universe with his voice and has cut yet another promo for the fans to remember. His sit down interview with Michael Cole was everything we could ask. It was emotional yet it was also impactful. Aiden spoke about his path to the championship as well as his turbulent relationship with JBL. He was a man who had nothing and now was perhaps one of most beloved stars. The ending might have been short on words but it was enough to send the message to Drew, JBL, and the fans in attendance who'd not totally be on his side. This was a match which was do or die for him. There was no losing. There was only one option for him and that was to walk out with the World Heavyweight Championship.

RUNNER UP: Tyler Breeze and Elias

SHOCKER OF THE SHOW

PPV Awards: International Incident 2ACurbj

What was truly the Shocker of the Night? Sasha Banks making her return or Sasha Banks and Liv Morgan actually being able to work together to secure a victory? That's right. The Boss is back and she's shocked the world by possibly rekindling her partnership with the very woman who put her out of action for a couple of months. People and Liv Morgan alike were skeptical when Sasha first came out and rightfully so, however, Sasha might've proven herself by her actions at the end of the match. Sasha shocked the world when she shoved Liv Morgan out of the way and took a spear for her which led to the Boss and Brat duo picking up the win. Will the shocking actions be enough for Liv or is there still plenty of unsolved tension lying in wait for these two?

RUNNER UP: WALTER debuts / Drew McIntyre wins

MATCH OF THE SHOW and FEUD OF THE SHOW

PPV Awards: International Incident Murphy11

Avengers puns aside, this feud has been nothing short of swerves left and right. What began as an Open Challenge being accepted by a never before seen superstar led to a knife being stabbed in the back of Matt Sydal which led to a show stealing TLC match which then led to the crowning of a brand new Intercontinental Champion. No one would've guessed how this rivalry would've unfolded upon the arrival of Buddy Murphy but it's caught the eyes of the fans and Matt Sydal as well. He's lost his friends. He's lost his championship. There's not much more for him to lose. With a contractual rematch clause in the books, you have to bet that Matt Sydal is planning his revenge, however, might we see the Undisputed Era get involved again? Roderick Strong and Adam Cole both played a crucial part in how we saw the Intercontinental Championship match play out. It looked like Matt Sydal was on the verge of a win but the numbers game became too much for Matt Sydal to handle. The Iron Man was pulled through the ladder and was forced to watch Buddy Murphy unhook the championship and crown himself as the new holder of the gold.

FEUD RUNNER UP: Becky Lynch vs Asuka
