As Roman Reigns music starts to play, the camera's view shifts to the crowd, right at the top of the steps where Roman Reigns himself appears to the sound of many cheering fans. His World Heavyweight Championship hung from his shoulder as one hand would go up to it - slapping against it as the crowd cheered him on - the champion was here and he was ready to fight - one against all. Calmly, Roman Reigns stands on the high ground, overlooking the ring below him and the mass of fans surrounding it that are waiting for him to wage war inside of it. He just holds his head up for a moment and looks down - that ring - his yard - three other men were going to walk into his yard tonight - but only the big dawg was going to walk out. With his other hand, Roman Reigns sweeps his slick hair back and then begins his descent down the stairs, passing through the fans and making a beeline straight to the bottom. Different fans - men - woman and children all reached out to him on his way down the ring and patted him on the back. He had good support tonight - a drastic change of events for him as he is normally booed out of the building. The fans where cheering for him - chanting his name as one hand stayed on the World Heavyweight Championship and held it in place. He stood now at the bottom of the stairs and then moved forward, walking again through the cheering crowd as he the approaches the barricade, places a hand upon it, and heaves himself over in one big leap. As he stands at ringside, Roman Reigns looks off at the side, once again taking a long glance at the space around him filled with people, some who support him, some who despise him, but all who want to see him draw blood and tonight he was not going to let them down, again it was simple - it was one against all. With a twitch of his nose, Roman Reigns turns back to the ring and hops onto the apron. Stepping over to the nearest corner, Roman Reigns climbs into the second rope and raises his arms above him - his World Heavyweight Championship held proudly up in the air for all to see - he stood there for a little bit - posing for the fans for a few brief moments. From here, he wastes little time dropping back to the apron and entering the ring proper, as he awaits for the upcoming match to finally be under way - one against all.
The lights in the arena go off, causing the crowd to grow quiet. A moment passes and a spotlight falls, illuminating a statue of AJ Styles. Erected of marble much like the Romans did it, really fitting the theme of the special event. A few moments pass as a drum-roll starts, another spotlight falling, showing Brock Lesnar. Accompanied by him, on his literal shoulder is a small bust of Paul Heyman, the camera focusing in on this. Another spotlight falls, killing the drumroll to reveal Roman Reigns with the belt across his shoulder. The champion smirking as he usually does, taking up center stage all the statues facing the ring.
[Mauro Ranallo] Looks like we're getting set up for quite the event but one bust is missing.
[Corey Graves] It is quite odd that we're one short but- wait, do you hear that Ranallo?
A siren sounds, catching the attention of the crowd as two ambulances, drenched in black paint comes rolling out onto stage. The sirens cut off as a theme song comes over the airwaves, lights illuminating only the stage.
As soon as the bass of the song kicks in, the ambulance doors open, men and women alike jumping out of them, all wearing black jumpsuits. Across their backs read "Ambrose Asylum" followed by a four digit number. They swarm the stage, several of them, all of which heading to either the bust of AJ Styles or Brock Lesnar. Now compared to people, these things appear to stand around 7 feet tall, towering over these men and women. The men and women begin to grab onto the statues, shaking them and pushing them around. They begin to tilt, the song carrying on as they do so. The crowd cheers, enjoying the show these people are putting on as commentary come over.
[Corey Graves] The Lunatic brought an army!
[Mauro Ranallo] There is just a swarm of inmates from the Ambrose Asylum on the stage!
♫"I can bleed if I wanna bleed"♫
Paul Heyman gets broken off the shoulder of Brock Lesnar.
♫"I can feel if I feel the need"♫
The two busts topple over, shattering to the floor as the Asylum members swarm the Roman Reigns statue. As they reach it, the beat increasing and growing heavier, they begin to mosh right around the statue. With a crack, the head of the statue goes flying off as the leader of the Asylum appears, bat in hand on the statue's shoulder. He jumps off the pedistal he had been upon, all the inmates falling around him, almost bowing.
♫"OHHH, I'M NOT AFRAID!"♫
Dean Ambrose heads down the ramp, the music carrying his stride as he walks, seeming prepped for battle. In the same outfit he wore to Final Stand, he decends the ramp, eyes set on the ring. The fans are explosive at this point, though he ignores them having his sights set on one thing and one thing only, HIS title. Ambrose rips off his jacket, seeming prepped for battle.
[Mauro Ranallo] What a thunderous entrance from the Lunatic Fringe!
[Corey Graves] He's making a statement Ranallo. Even the theme. He refuses to be our hero, but he's far from the devil. He's nothing more than an absolute zero. He's a Lunatic and that's all he needs to be to win here tonight. He's confident in that.
Ambrose finishes his way down the ramp, not having touched any of the outstretched hands of fans. He thenrounds the ring, jumping up onto the apron, looking out to the sea of fans. He heads across the length of the apron, finding himself at the turnbuckle. He climbs it, looking out among the sea of cheering fans.
Ambrose then leaps into the ring, walking across his, turning his gaze then to the stage which has been rushed to be cleaned during the time he made his entrance. He begins to roll his neck and crack his knuckles, practically begging for a fight.
The lights within the arena go completely dark, fans rush to get out their phones as quickly as possible to try and snap pictures rapidly, hoping that the flash on their camera's pick up a glimpse of what's going on. After a few moments, a few shadows can be caught moving around on stage, the anticipation begins to fill the arena as the crowd wonders what is about to happen. Suddenly, the lights in the arena come back on to a dimly lit shade of blue revealing 20 men on the stage decked out in old school Japanese Samurai style armor and wielding traditional Japanese Samurai swords. After a few moments of being lined up in one long 20 man line, the line breaks up into two, as 10 men move to the left side of the stage and the other 10 take up position on the right side of the stage.
A dark figure steps through the curtain slowly with his head down the entire time, he slowly approaches the formation of men that flank each side of the stage. Just when it appears as though the figure is about to step into the view of the crowd, he stops... He keeps his head down for about 10 seconds before slowly lifting his right hand over his shoulder, the figure appears to pull some type of long object out but the arena is just too dimly lit for the crowd to get an in depth look at said object. Suddenly, the figure's left hand reaches over his left shoulder and pulls something over his shoulder and to the front of him. The figure stands incredibly still now, it holds a big object in his left hand, and a longer yet slimmer object in it's right hand.
The crowd leap out of their seats and unleash a massive pop at the sound of the Phenomenal One's theme song, although this time, it appears as though it's a slightly remixed version which the crowd seems to approve of judging by their reaction.
The dark figure in the center of the 2 formations of Samurai now appears to be the Phenomenal One himself AJ Styles. AJ slowly lifts what can now clearly be made out to be a bow with his left hand while putting the arrow into firing position with his right hand, AJ takes his time and once his theme is about 10 seconds in, he takes aim and fires his arrow up into the air. The arrow wastes no time in striking a huge led board positioned above the ring and causing it to display a fiery P1 Logo for about 5 seconds before the "they don't want none" part of his song kicks in, at which point the arena lights begin to go crazy and flash blue and white with all of AJ's normal titantron and minitron graphics being put on display, including a giant AJ logo directly beneath his feet on this LED stage.
The now fully lit arena reveals AJ to be decked out in full ancient style archery gear and armor. AJ puts his gloves together and forms his vintage P1 logo with them for the cameras. AJ takes a moment to bow to each side of the stage showing his respect for the samurai, before heading down the ramp. AJ doesn't slap any fans hands tonight, he's ticked off, and he's on a mission, and as this entrance has put on display, he's ready to go to battle and do whatever necessary to walk out of here tonight as World Heavyweight Champion. AJ walks up the steps and enters the ring. He spins around upon entering the ring and extends his arms as he always does during his entrance. He follows that up by displaying the P1 logo with his gloves once more before turning his attention to the man standing just a few feet from him, the man he laid out last week with a Styles Clash onto a steel chair, Roman Reigns... The two men share an intense stare down for a few moments before AJ smirks and turns away from Reigns.
Styles walks over to the corner opposite of Roman and begins to remove his entrance gear as he awaits the next entrant in this match...
As three of the four men stood in the ring, all of the the lights in the arena suddenly shut off.
The beginning of 'Enter Sandman' by Metallica was easily recognized by the fans, but of course the fans weren't going to give it the most welcome of responses as it was known that this was the song that the Beast Incarnate used during his days in the UFC and from the looks of it, now has brought over to his professional wrestling career. The thick blackness stayed present in the arena until the drum potion of the well-known song began to kick in and it was then that the lights started to flash along with the beet of the drum.
[MAURO RANALLO] And here he comes, Ladies and Gentlemen. The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar.
[COREY GRAVES] If simply looking at a man like Brock Lesnar didn't give you chills, then you must have them now.
The big fight feel in the air was quite obvious now at this point, especially after witnessing spectacular entrances from the other men, and now Brock Lesnar, too. But he took his time coming out, only letting the song play. It wasn't until about fifty-five seconds in did Brock Lesnar come out from behind the curtain. And of course, not too far behind was his Advocate, the man who we might soon be calling our new General Manager of Anarchy, Paul Heyman. The Beast Incarnate did his signature bounce atop the center of the stage and upon him bringing his arms down in one last swing, fireworks to his left and right shot up like always.
[COREY GRAVES] There's a very good chance we could be looking at our next World Heavyweight Champion in Brock Lesnar. I'm not one to count Dean, Roman or Styles out, but when you've got a man like Brock Lesnar in the picture, it's hard to vote against him.
[MAURO RANALLO] But this is a Fatal Four Way match, Corey. While normally I might have to agree with you, one thing we can't forget is that any of these men can lose without being pinned. This isn't elimination. This is one fall to the finish.
The Conqueror himself marches down the ramp with Heyman walking not too far behind him. And upon reaching the bottom of the ramp, Lesnar doesn't do his usual entrance. There are two men standing near the ring, both of them dressed similar in attire. Black shirts, pants and even what looked to be black medical gloves. Once the camera got even closer, as did Brock, it was clear that these two men were the kind of men who you'd see whenever an Ultimate Fighter would make his entrance into the Octagon. It was like second nature to Brock as he approached the men, the first one approaching the Beast to meet him half way.
[MAURO RANALLO] I've seen this many times before and if I were the men in that ring, I'd be a little worried. Brock Lesnar is clearly treating this championship match not like a wrestling match, but a straight-up fight.
The Cutman rubs some petroleum jelly on the most likely areas of impact, therefore the face of the Beast. His job was easily done as he backs away and the other doctor comes in now to do his. The Beast spreads his arms and is inspected by the doctor. The challenger was patted down from head to toe, making sure everything looked up to regulation before then moving to check on the gloves... Though his job couldn't be finished as interference from another played a factor. It was Dean Ambrose who couldn't wait no longer as he dived through the rope, then hitting the Beast Incarnate with a suicide dive to send him back into the barricade hard. That alone brings out a lout 'pop' from the crowd in attendance.
[MAURO RANALLO] There's no disqualification, Ladies and Gentlemen. Dean Ambrose can get away with that!
[COREY GRAVES] But if I were him, I'd be worried. Brock Lesnar might be down but Brock Lesnar won't stay down for long. When he does get up? I would keep an eye out if I were Dean Ambrose.
[MAURO RANALLO] Brock Lesnar has done it! Brock Lesnar is your new World Heavyweight Champion!
The crowd erupts into a flood of jeers for the man who just pinned Dean Ambrose to become the brand new Heavyweight Champion of the World. Lesnar was quick to the rise back up to his feet as he now stood above three broken, battered and bruised men who gave it their all but still walked out with nothing but a loss in the record books. The referee reached out for Brock's arm as he was officially declared the winner of tonight's World Heavyweight Championship match-up. Heyman scurried into the ring and in his hands was the most prestigious prize in all of XWL, the championship that Brock Lesnar just stole from Roman Reigns. The now new General Manager of XWL handed the championship belt off to the new champion and pushed the referee aside so that Paul Heyman could raise the arm up of the new World Heavyweight Champion.
[COREY GRAVES] I know I said it was possible, but... I still can't believe it actually happened. I honestly expected the three other competitors to insure that it was anyone but Brock Lesnar who walks out with the championship held in his hands.
'You did it' and other praises were shouted by Heyman so that Brock could hear them.
[MAURO RANALLO] I just worry because with Brock winning... Paul Heyman is now our General Manager, and we've seen what this man's motives are in a position of power: insuring that Brock Lesnar sits firmly atop his gold throne with an iron fist.
Replays from throughout the match begin to play to highlight the epic World Heavyweight Championship match that we witnessed just moments again. Close falls from all men and moments where we thought that one of the men wouldn't be coming back from the move they took. And when we head back to the live viewing of Emergence, we see Brock Lesnar proudly wearing his gold on the outside of the ring. His back was turned to the ring, literally leaving a mess of human bodies for doctors to check on to make sure everything was okay with them and that nothing was hurting. 'You conquered them and together, we will rule this company' says Heyman as he gives Brock a pat on the back. With the new World Heavyweight Champion looking over his shoulder and back at the ring, that is the last image we see as the Emergence show comes to an end with a new World Heavyweight Champion crowned.
