Styles: Good evening everyone and welcome to Redemption, coming to you Live from Chicago Illinois!

[Cole]: Save it Joey nobody wants to hear you blabber on and on, they all want to hear the voice of XWL and that's me Michael Cole. We have a great show for you lined up tonight, we will see R-Truth go up against the one and only Miz! In a match where no doubt The Miz will triumph and come out on top.

Styles: Oh enough with the being biased already, we get it you love The Miz. Sing a different tune every once and a while. Sorry folks, tonight we will try and get you all an update on the health situation of Ted Dibiase, after he was brutally assaulted at the hands of The Undertaker, Kane and Mr. Fn. That very same trio will also take on "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels, in a handicap match.

[Cole]: Excuse me. Biased? How dare you, unlike you I am a professional, I call the action right down the middle, I don't take sides. Try not to be jealous that I am the voice of XWL Joey, we all know that you were a voice of a company, but that was a long time ago. Get over it and move on and give me my time to shine. I apologise on my partners behalf everybody, some people just aren't as professional as they should be. Anyway, tonight will also see two friends collide as X-treme Champion Alex Shelley heads on over to Redemption to face off against Chris Sabin.

Styles: Not only that, we will bring you a blockbuster main event as CM Punk takes on Chris Jericho to make it into the finals of the King Of The Ring tournement. In what some are describing as a possible matche of the year.



The crowd errupts with cheers as the home town hero: CM Punk makes his way out onto the stage



Styles: Listen to the ovation here tonight for CM Punk

[Cole]: Pfft who cares?

Styles: Are you kidding me? It was only last week that you were all high and mighty about CM Punk and even going as far as to comaring yourself to him.

[Cole]: I did no such thing, that is a lie and you know it. I know you're jealous of me Joey, but you don't have to go making up rumours about me. Next thing you know there will be annonymous posts on Dirt Sheets slandering me.

Styles: What a shame that would be...

By the time the two commentators have finished arguing with one another, CM Punk has already got inside the ring and grabbed himself a microphone



[[Punk]]: I am standing here in the middle of this ring, being brought to you live from from the greatest city in the World: Chicago. I am standing here, in front of my people and as per usual, I have something to get off my chest and I am not waiting around to get the ok to do so. This microphone is a supposed pipebomb right? Well I think it's about damn time this pipebomb went off. First of all we need to do a quick bit of recapping ? Last week, I came out here and said my piece about Dwayne, explained my actions from two weeks ago, called you people all hypocrites and stated that how I was going to win the King of the Ring tournement. Are you people all follwing this? I certainly hope so, because I have a lot to say, you people know me very well and you know that I am not a man of few words.



[[Punk]]: After I was out here and gave my little speech, I went backstage to prepare for my match with Drew McIntrye. No more than 5 seconds after I went behind that curtain, a member of the XWL management took me to one side and explained to me that I am doing a great job. How everybody upstairs is very pleased with what I am doing. But that I need to stop with this whole Dwayne situation. He told me that what I am doing is taking the focus away from Alberto Del Rio, that I am taking the focus away from the Supremacy main event. That my time to talk about Dwayne, isn't right now. I should focus on winning King of the Ring, that should be my number one priority.



[[Punk]]: That's right, despite the fact that I am doing "a great job", I've been told by management to stop. Why? Because I am getting the ratings and not the person that they have chosen to challenge for the Championship. Remember that pipebomb I mentioned? If you idiots in management actually had a brain cell between you, you should be pushing this more and more. Nothing you have produced lately, has been anywhere near the level of CM Punk and The Rock. You think you would've have figured that out as soon as you seen what happened between Dwayne and myself at Digital Decision. If any of you had a brain, you would've make this your next big thing.



[[Punk]]: But no, instead you ignored the reaction it got. You ignored the people that wanted to see it and instead you all went ahead and booked Alberto Del Rio Vs The Rock at Supremacy. Do you want to know why the focus is being taken away from that match so easily? Because not a single person here tonight cares about it. Why? Because everybody has already seen that match a hundred times. These people, your fanbase want something new. Something fresh, that is why they're all paying attention to the goings on between Dwayne and I.



[[Punk]]: A normal person, with a working brain would see the popularity of this and then capitalise on it. Push it, hype it and make into one of the biggest rivalries of the year. Because whether you people like it or not, that's what it is turning into and you're all just going to have to learn to accept it. But you won't, here is exactly what's going to happen. You will try and scrape together what chances you have of making a good main event match at Supremacy. Odds are, nothing will work. Which will make you point the finger of blame, towards me, all for doing my job, the job that you all pay me for.



[[Punk]]: Which normally would be fine. I come out here week after week and make these people hate me, I make it so these people can't stand to see the sight of me. Which is fine, that I can deal with. But the fact that you're going to sit there in your office, with your stupid suit, then point the finger of blame towards me and then hate me for doing a better job then your #1 Contender, does not sit well with me. If your #1 Contender actually did something worth while you wouldn't be in this situation, an easy fix when you think about it. But instead you look for the scape goat, a role in which I just so happen to fit.



[[Punk]]: Here's a bright idea. You want the focus on you main event? Here is what you do, see those two sitting over there at that table. Yeah they're called commentators, what you need to do is get them to, I don't know hype the match? Then what you do, is actually get Alberto out here and have him make these people want to see him in the Main event again. I watched last week, Alberto attacked Dwayne. Yet again I might, but this time there was a slight twist. Alberto put Dwayne through a table with his own finishing move. Oh, you writers are crafty. Now I am interested in this feud again...



[[Punk]]: While we're on the topic of Alberto, I would like to say a quick something. You come out last week and try to insult me by saying that I haven't proven myself against big name talent? See I would take offense to this, but the irony in your statement is through the roof. Tell me Alberto, what have you actually achieved in your career here in XWL? That is apart from that single fluke win you gained over Dwayne all those months ago. I'll tell you what you have done with your time here, nothing. You haven't achieved a damn thing and that one time where you did have a chance, where you finally had a shot to make a name for yourself, you failed to live up to your own hype.



[[Punk]]: And that is the difference between me and yourself Alberto. If I say I'm going to do something, I damn well do it. Unlike you, I don't panic and drop the ball in World Championship matches. I would like to know something, what it is you had to give to the higher ups to actually "Earn" a Title shot. Besides from winning a random match at Digital Decision, what has you done to get himself a Championship match? Nothing that springs to my mind, but hey, I'm not a management guy so I obviously don't know any better. If those guys upstairs make the decision then it's obviously the right one right? I mean afterall, I need to be told by you guys what I want don't I?



[[Punk]]: No I don't, unlike most of the people backstage I actually have a brain, which means I can actually think for myself. Do you know what I really want? Less of the same people being shoved down our throats 24/7. I want to see guys like Christopher Daniels, Batista and Daniel Bryan to get their chances. I don't know about you people, but I am personally sick of seeing Evan Bourne, sick of seeing Sheamus, sick of seeing the same old people week in and week out, taking up all the oppertunities that other people deserve. Take two weeks ago for an example, Evan Bourne challenged for the Intercontinental Championship, but can any of you actually tell me why? Because quite honsetly I have no idea. It's not like he actually earned a shot, it's seems to me that XWL Management is keeping their golden boy sweet and handing him a Title shot. Which of course he lost, rendering the challenge pointless and wasted. But that is just my opinion..



[[Punk]]: But afterall nobody truly knows why, yet nobody questions it. We just have to accept it, because that's just the way things are ran around here. Well I can't accept that anymore. You people in management tell me to move over to allow the Supremacy main event to flourish? Well I say go fuck yourself. If you think that I am the type of person to do that, then you have obviously forgotten who I am. Well allow me to remind you, I am CM Punk. And CM Punk is not and will never be your little bitch. So here is what's actually going to happen. You want me to focus on King of the Ring, I can do that. As a matter of a fact I have always been doing that, just because I come out here and say a few words does not make that any different.



[[Punk]]: And as regards to Dwayne. He still has my attention, he still has a huge target painted on his back courtesy of myself. When I come out here next week, I will talk about what I want and who I want. I will mention, Dwayne, Jericho, hell, even the idiot that apparently runs this company. Then when I have finally won King of the Ring and when I am crowned King. You can bet your sweet ass that I will be gunning for Dwayne and his World Heavyweight Championship. And there is not a damn thing that you, your shitty excuse for a management or any other one of your Corporate whores can do about it.



[[Punk]]: Now I know you're going to be foaming at the mouth right now, I can see you sitting there in your suit just thinking of some way to punish me, thinking of a way to make an example out of CM Punk so no member of your roster ever tries to do something like this again. I personally don't care one bit, because afterall, that just means I did a good job... This message was brought to you Live from Chicago, courtesy of CM Punk!

CM Punk drops the microphone in the centre of the ring and then mimicks an explosion with his hands and mouth. Punk then climbs onto the ropes and raises his arms in the air which is met by thunderous cheers from his hometown crowd. CM Punk begins to applaud and thank members of the audience. A few moments later the as the screen fades to black and cuts into a Hype package for Supremacy.

***As Redemption returns from commercial break, Josh Matthews is seen onscreen***



Josh Matthews: Please welcome my guest at tnis time the All-American American Jack Swagger.

***The Crowd boos at the mention of Jack Swagger***



Josh Matthews: Now Jack, how are you feeling mentally after that demoralizing loss against Alex Riley, and how does that play into your match tonight against Rey Mysterio and this Sunday at Supremacy against Kofi Kingston for you XWL contract?



Jack Swagger: Mentally? Demoralizing? Have you been reading a dictionary? While alot of people know that I lost to Alex Riley last week, only a few really know what happened. What you people don't know is that during the commercial break, Kofi made his presence felt, and while the ref was checking on Riley, I was hit with a Trouble In Paradise. And that's where my downfall in the match began. Regarding my match with little Rey-Rey tonight, I don't care what happens tonight, win lose or draw, I will have my revenge on Kofi Kingston at Supremacy... and when I win on Sunday and keep my contract, I will make his life... a living hell.

Josh Matthews: My next question is...

***Before Josh can ask his question, Swagger cuts him off***

Jack Swagger: It doesn't matter what your next question is. Yeah I do impressions, so what, sue me. Now that this interview is over, I got some things I need to take care of in the ring.

***The camera follows Swagger as he makes his way to the ring***

***Redemption goes to a quick commercial break***



***As Redemption returns, Swaggers theme plays***



***As Swagger makes his way into the ring, he asks for a mic***

Jack Swagger: Before I get down to business, I just want to show you something that is very important to me... it will make you envy me even more... if that's even possible. I was going to wait to show it off after I beat Kofi at Supremacy, but this is a good time as any.

***As Swagger looks at the tron with a smile on his face, his smile fades as he sees Kofi on the tron.***



Kofi Kingston: You know it's funny what you find just laying around back here.

***A shot of Swagger's Nascar is shown.***



Jack Swagger: Don't even think about it kofi.

Kofi Kingston: Alright. I won't think about it... I'll just do it.

Jack Swagger: I'm warning you, Kofi.

Kofi Kingston: I heard these cars were very durable and couldn't be easily scratched... lets put that to the test.



***A scratch along the side of the car is visible.***

Kofi Kingston: Looks like I was lied to. Oh well. Hey Swagger, I'm going to do you a favor and give you a better paintjob on your car.

***Kofi gets a bucket of paint and puts it on the roof of the car***



***He then jumps on the hood and makes his way to the roof of the car and dumps the orange paint all over the car***



Kofi Kingston: Now that's a paint job.

***Swagger exits the ring and sprints to the back as Redemption takes another commercial break.***



***Redemption returns with Swagger backstage looking for Kofi. His phone rings, when he answers it he finds out it's his dad***



Jack Swagger: Hey dad, what's up? Your watching Redemption? How was I supposed to know that he would destroy my car? Yeah I attacked him a few weeks back after his match, but what does that have to do with... how is this my fault? What do you mean it's always my fault? That was 10 years ago, get over it. I got to go... no, I'm not trying to avoid the situation... I've got to find Kofi for destroying my car... hello?

***Before Swagger can hang up his phone, Kofi comes from the shadows and attacks Swagger. Swagger tries to block one of Kofi's kicks but the are just too fast. Kofi seemingly unpleased with the assault, decides to setup one of the nearby ladders and put Swagger on a table. Kofi climbs the ladder and hits his signature "Boom Drop" on Swagger through the table into the concrete***

Styles: OH MY GAWD!!!

Cole: Look at what that degenerate, Kofi Kingston, did to Jack Swagger. What did Swagger do to
deserve this?

Styles: You mean besides attack him after his match a few weeks ago?

Cole: That attack was justified?

Styles: How?

Cole: Kofi took his spot in the King of the Ring tournament.

Styles: Kofi earned that spot and you know it.

Cole: Really?

Styles: Yes, really.

***While cole and stles were talking, Swagger was being checked on by the EMTs.***

Styles: Well, it looks like Swagger won't be able to compete tonight against Rey Mysterio.

Cole: I know Swagger personally and I know he won't take a loss by forfeit. I can guarrantee that he will be out here later tonight.

***Redemption goes to yet another commercial break.***

*The Miz and CM Punk are shown backstage.*



The Miz- You know Punk, I thought you were the man who could do the most damage with that microphone pipebomb. But I think you've been outclassed. He was like a man possessed out there! He sure showed us.

[[Punk]]: You know, I hate to say it Miz, but for once in your life you're actually right. That man went out there tonight and did something that only you and I can only dream of, he shook the XWL foundations to it's very core.

The Miz- Juuuust like he shook the foundations of the earth when standing up after spending two hours in catering. If I wasn't facing Kevin Steen at Supremacy I'd want Mark Henry at the front of the line for a shot at my title.

[[Punk]]: How do you think I feel? I've spent all of my time gunning for Dwayne, when there are quite literally bigger fish in the pond. If I knew Mark Henry was capable of such things, I wouldn't have even wasted my time on Dwayne.

The Miz- Well quite frankly the difference between Mark Henry and Dwayne "The Dwayne" Johnson is that The Dwayne is a phony. Mark Henry deserves his respect, who would actually want to "gun" for him. I sure as hell wouldn't, or else I'd get my "A** KICKED!!!" But then again, I have no wrestling ability, I just freeload off my fame and fortune. You know?

[[Punk]]: I know exactly what you mean Miz, going after Mark henry would have serious consequences for anybody. Especially me, I mean afterall I am just a "STRAIGHT EDGE FAILURE". I would stand no chance against Mark Henry, I would most certainly end out getting my "A** KICKED!!". I don't know about you, but I don't want that. I like my ass the way it is.

The Miz- Exactly! Your ass is perfectly fine as it is.

*Miz and Punk stop talking for a few seconds with an awkward silence. A random staff member can be heard letting out a cough in the background.*

The Miz- We need to take a stand, Punk. We can't let people like Mark Henry boss us around, we're men damnit! WE DESERVE OUR F****** RESPECT AROUND HERE, WHAT HAS MARK F***** HENRY DONE TO SAY THAT BULLS*** ABOUT US? HUH?

[[Punk]]: I don't know about you but I am F****** SICK AND TIRED OF THIS S***. I AM A F****** FORMER WORLD CHAMPION AND YOU'RE THE CURRENT UNITED F****** STATES CHAMPION. WHAT DO WE HAVE TO SHOW FOR IT? SOME ***** **** *** MARK *** ******* ***** **** *** HENRY **** *** **** ***** PUSHING US AROUND? I DON'T THINK SO!

The Miz- **** NO WE'RE NOT GONNA F***** TAKE HIS S***** **** ********* EVAN BOURNE HORSE *****. WHO THE HELL DOES EVAN BOURNE THINK HE IS? BUT MARK HENRY! [[Punk]]: IT'S ABOUT TIME WE DID SOMETHING ABOUT THIS ****** F****** SEXUAL CHOCOLATE. **** **** ***** "GIVE IT ALL TO YA" *** ***** CHALLENGING CM PUNK AND THE MIZ?! I THINK NOT, BUT BEFORE WE DO ANYTHING I JUST WANT TO KNOW ONE THING AND TO QUOTE MY BOY DWAYNE.... Who in the blue the hell is Mark Henry?

The Miz- Erm, is he that guy who goes around saying "DAMN"? Yeah, I think that's it.. He was pretty cool in the Nation of Domination I must admit... But back to MARK F****** HENRY.. ARE WE GONNA SIT AROUND AND TALK ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE OR ARE WE GONNA TAKE ACTION?!

*Both Miz and CM Punk continue to rile one another up and prepare themselves for whatever it is they have planned. They turn to walk towards the door but as they're doing so both men begin to laugh uncontrollably*

[[Punk]]: I'm sorry but I couldn't keep that charade up for much longer.

*CM Punk can be seen wiping a tear away from his eye as he & Miz continue chuckling to themselves. The duo then exit through the door, with every step further away their laughter becoming more and more quiet.*
