I...I heard you were looking for a partner in crime and well, Y'know, I've not been doing anything lately and I was wondering if maybe...Y'know?

[Daniel Bryan]

Maybe, I could be your sidekick of doom!

I know, right? I am here to usher in a new era in XWL, the era of doom! You have to understand that my sidekick has to be talented in the ring, smart in the ring, smart outside of the ring, they need to be able to take an order, they must have a mean streak, they must be willing to do things that normal people wouldn't do and they must not be afraid to break the rules! It's an exciting prospect and I need to thing long and hard about who I want as my partner. If I even make the smallest mistake in my decision process then it could backfire, I could end up on my ass in the dirt like the last time I trusted someone.



[AJ Lee
Daniel, I promise you I'm a changed woman! I tick all of those boxes! I am talented in the ring, I am smart in and out of it, I can take an order from you whenever you want! I have a mean streak a mile long and you already know from the past that I can do things that no one else can! I will break all the rules you tell me to and I will follow you to the end....I need this job Daniel....I need it! I'll do ANYTHING...

[Daniel Bryan]
Anything?

[AJ Lee
Yes!

[Daniel Bryan]
Well then you can start tonight. I have a match against Kofi Kingston later, I'll leave a note with your instructions in your locker room, are you sure you're up to the task? If you fail tonight then you will never get the chance again do you hear me?



[AJ Lee
I won't let you down Daniel. Thank you.

[Daniel Bryan]
Okay now go wait in your locker room.

AJ leans over to kiss Daniel on the lips but he holds his finger up over hers and whispers "shhhh, now go" AJ looks smitten as she gets weak at her knees, still she does as Daniel says and skips off down the corridor towards her locker room as XWL's Breakdown Supershow rolls on...

{Michael Cole}
Ladies and gentlemen last week, in the midst of all the championship chaos, we saw something that many never expected to see, and a lot of people didn't know how to react, and they still don't

{JR}
That's right, our very own two time Diva of the Year Layla has always been more of a, well loner in the division. She's done whatever it took to reach the top, and make a very long last impression in the process, though that impression was not always a positive one.

{King}
But out of the blue after having her partner, and probably her only friend in this division in quite some time...taken out of action, she took her twitter account and released a video which we shared with the world on Redemption last week. She seemed to be different from the Layla we've come to know over the years.

{Michael Cole}
She practically was saying things that she would never say, and personally I don't buy this whole "reformed" attitude she was trying to sell us.

{JR}
I had my doubts too, but when she met her once BFF, turned rival Michelle McCool in their match, we once again saw someone different. She seemed to be having more fun, and even showed some respect in the end when she not only helped Michelle up, but she hugged her, I'm not sure if this is all an act, but if it is she's one hell of an actress I'll say that much.

{King}
Earlier today Layla arrived at the arena, and was bombarded by our camera crew, they wanted answers, and surprisingly, instead of telling them to get lost, or insulting them in some way, she agreed without so much as a single complaint. She sat down with our cameras to go further into her change of heart, and it was quite the interesting interview, so let's go now to that footage.



The lights in the arena go out, making everything pitch black with the exception of flashing lights from cameras and whatnot, then the titantron suddenly lights up. On the screen a video begins to play, where Layla, smiling is shown sitting down, giving the cameras her full attention.



{Interviewer}
Ladies and gentlemen, with us today is XWL's most noteworthy diva, she's accomplished all sorts of history, is currently the longest reigning Divas Champion we've ever had, and has always been known as a "bad girl." But last week many of us were caught off guard by a sudden change in this person, she seemed regretful of her past, and willing to do anything to make amends for it. That woman is of course our very own, Layla.

{Layla}
Oh stop it, you're making me blush.

{Interviewer}
Layla, I'm going to cut straight to the point, because there are skeptics out there, is this an act?



{Layla}
No, and I realize I deserve that, I mean with my past, with everything I've ever done, said, and shown the world, who could believe that I could change? But as hard as it may be to comprehend it, I just quite frankly am sick of being the object of everyone's hatred. It's time for a change, it's time I show the world that I'm not as bad as I've made myself out to be. In this business you have to make some decisions you might not be proud of at the end of the day, and that's because it's a cut throat world we live in here. You either take what opportunity comes your way, or you get left behind and forgotten about. To me, after sitting on the sidelines for years because of my knee injury, I was willing to do anything to finally show the world what I was capable of.



{Layla}
Unfortunately that meant abandoning everything that was right, and embracing everything that was, wrong. Is it amazing to be able to have a resume as impressive as mine? It's completely unimaginable, I never believed I would be so successful, but with that success....I lost every ounce of respect or friendship from everyone in this entire company, even my friends outside of this business were like, whoa Layla, aren't you getting a little too consumed by all of this? Which I was, when you're in the shadows for so long, and taste that first bit of success, like my victory against Angelina Love to become the Miss Money in the Bank, you want more.

{Interviewer}
More?

{Layla}
More fame, more glory, more things to....well, brag about. I was being embraced by the fans before that win, and then after it....I sort of went downhill from there. I mean obviously not success wise, I mean more history was made, eventually I became Divas Champion finally, and even in that moment, despite being so caught up in everything, I still maintained a bit of the real me by not doing what others before me had. I won the Divas Championship completely legitimately, and that's the one thing I can look back and be proud of. I didn't let the person I had become, defile the championship, I maintained some integrity there. It still is so surreal to think of that night, the fourth anniversary of the biggest pay-per-view event of the year, and I was so honored enough to walk out as Divas Champion.

{Interviewer}
But the next night....



{Layla}
I know I know, I made a fool of myself....a stamp with my autograph? I was out of control from that point on.

{Interviewer}
So what exactly has sparked this change in you?

{Layla}
I won't lie, it's lonely here without Paige...I went so long without relying on anyone, and shielding myself from everyone around me, that when I finally found a bond with someone, and actually let the walls down, I felt so at ease....I felt like, this is how you should journey through this business, not alone, but with people you care about and share a love for wrestling with. So with Paige gone for the time being, I sent out that tweet as a, I guess a cry for help? I wanna change so desperately, I wanna feel loved, I don't ever wanna be booed again, it's not a good feeling, I never showed it, but it hurts...because no matter what you do out there, because of how you carry yourself, you'll be hated for it. Which is completely justified, I deserved all the hate.

{Interviewer}
But you not only want forgiveness from the fans, you want to start fresh with your fellow divas as well?



{Layla}
More than anything in the world....I've done some horrible things, and said some even worse things in my time here. I could blame it on Michelle McCool, but I had as much say as what I said in Lay-Cool as she did, we each made our own decisions, and I wish I could take it all back. The Smelly Kelly nonsense, the Fattie Nattie crap, That time when we compared Maryse to Reese's Pieces, implying that Beth Phoenix was a man....giving Gail Kim a "Fail Kim" nickname...oh god and called Melina, a Hynena? Who says those kind of things? Then implying that Eve was The Crimson Chin, Madison Eagles was... temporary diva number three wasn't it? Oh and who could forget, calling poor Mickie James, Piggie James....it's just unacceptable, and it's going to take a lot of apologizing to a lot of people to make up for the way that I made them feel.


{Interviewer}
Perhaps Natalya the most?

{Layla}
I don't know how I can ever make that up to her, I cost her The Divas Championship, what could I possibly do to make her forgive me? I not only made her life hell, I took something away from her that to this day, she still has not held again. I feel awful about it, out of everything I've done, that takes the cake. I wish I knew what I could say or do to make up for that, but unfortunately I don't. Maybe since so much time has passed since then, she could find it in her heart to forgive me, or at least give me a chance to show her how sorry I am?


{Interviewer}
Anything is possible, I mean you've changed, and not many ever saw that happening. So since you're looking to redeem yourself for all of your past mistakes, what's on the agenda tonight? Do you have anyone in particular you wanna maybe try to talk to, maybe work things out with?



{Layla}
Actually yes, another person I really hope to settle some differences with is the current Divas Champion, Kaitlyn.

{Interviewer}
Really now, and why is that?

{Layla}
You know, I was just so awful to her since the very first night she got here, she ended up beating me in her debut match and I didn't take that very well. Once again I was trying to find my own place in the division and you have the new girl upstaging me when I was supposed to be the one everyone was talking about. It was wrong of me to react the way that I did, and sadly it brought about a lot chain reactions between us, and all because of the fact that I never gave her a chance. It's built up over the years, all the insults, all the foolish hatred, and I wanna squash it. I want her to know that I'm deeply sorry for not properly welcoming her to the company, implying that she worthless, stating numerous times that she was a disgrace to this division, and I very much so would love to just put the past behind us and start fresh.


{Interviewer}
As for The Bella Twins?



{Layla}
Just because I'm a different person doesn't mean that I suddenly have no backbone. They took my friend out, they've been ruthless to everyone in the division, and I know I'm not one to say anything about that kind of behavior, but until they show me the decency I deserve, and apologize for the things they've said about me, to my face, and acknowledge that they were wrong to injure Paige, much less gloat about it... I have nothing kind to say to them.

{Interviewer}
Last week you challenged them to a Handicap match, we know you're changed and everything now, but don't you think that might have been a mistake?



{Layla}
I might have a lot of regrets, but that isn't one of them. Am I outnumbered? Sure, but that's my own fault, I've pushed away everyone that could have helped me in this time of need, so it's time I show all of those people that you know, I was vicious, and self centered before, but that's now all behind me, and at Unforgiven I'm going to avenge Paige. It might seem foolish to you, but to me it's the right thing to do, and I think it's about time I do what's actually right for once.


The screen suddenly fades out as this exclusive interview with the seemingly reformed Layla comes to a close.

*Jericho appears deep in thought as the view pans outwards to reveal interviewer Josh Mathews standing by with a microphone in hand.*



[Josh Mathews]
Chris Jericho, last week was an eventful week for you. First of all you were involved in a heated exchange on the Highlight Reel with Dolph Ziggler which culminated in you gaining the upperhand and making a statement courtesy of a Codebreaker after a failed cheap shot by the Show Off. Then later on in the night you retained your World Heavyweight Championship against the Intercontinental Champion John Morrison in an outstanding matchup where you put in a dominating performance picking up a 2-0 victory. As a result of your title defense, Dolph Ziggler is now the number one contender heading into Unforgiven. I have to ask you... what is your gameplan and mindset heading into that matchup? Ziggler seems to have an answer for everything you say, and you likewise have a response for what he says. The two of you are arguable the best XWL have to offer right now and-

*Jericho pulls the mic towards him, interrupting Mathews.*



[Chris Jericho]
The two of us are the best XWL have to offer? No Josh. I am the best XWL has to offer. Dolph Ziggler isn't even close. You saw him try to take a cheap shot on me last week but I knew it was coming sooner or later. I was primed to retaliate because I know Dolph will be trying everything he possibly can to gain some kind of an advantage before we lock up in the ring because he knows that deep down he doesn't have what it takes to defeat me, and he doesn't have what it takes to measure up to what it means to be the World Heavyweight Champion. That's the problem with guys like Dolph Ziggler. They talk a lot, but when the time comes to back up those words they fall short. I used to be just like Dolph, so I'll admit... the kid has potential. He reminds me a lot of a younger Chris Jericho but everything he has been saying... this "hot streak" that he's currently on... all of that will-

*Suddenly a flash of blonde hair comes into view and the camera is knocked to the ground with a huge crash. Static fills the screen and the audio is mangled until a broken sideways picture returns, showing both Jericho and Mathews knocked down seemingly unconscious. Blood seeps around the head of Jericho who is face down among several broken items of backstage paraphernalia. There are several screams and paramedics are shown rushing onto the scene as the screen fades to black for a promotional video...*



*SUMMER RAE COMES TO XWL - MAY 20TH*

Following a brief advertisement hyping up our next PPV, the only night where rivalries are truly seen in "black and white." We head backstage to a view of our very own Divas Champion Kaitlyn, geared up for her match against Nikki Bella later on in the show, and walking the halls with her title proudly resting on her shoulder. She seems to have a lot on her mind, while she's hot off a successful defense last week, she didn't have much time to celebrate because Natalya laid her out after taking advantage of her trust. Naturally this has greatly affected her better judgment going forward.



As she's perhaps lost in thought, continuing forward, maybe thinking about what Natalya did. Or even how she may have won the battle but the war could be far from over, she's stopped in an instant when she hears a familiar voice in the distance yell out "Kaitlyn!" This voice seems to annoy her greatly as she lets out a sigh, turns around and sees a woman she's never gotten along with, Layla, running towards her, she yells out "Wait Kaitlyn!" once more just as Kaitlyn was about to continue walking forward.



Finally Layla arrives next to Kaitlyn, she gives Layla a sour look in response to seeing her, but Layla doesn't seem to notice as she starts talking immediately.

{Layla}
Listen, I know you probably want nothing to do with me, and who could blame you, I've been absolutely terrible to you since the very day you got here. In fact, I've been pretty terrible to a lot of people, never given them a chance, never allowed myself to think about the things I was saying to you and everyone else, much less all the horrible things I've done...I mean last month was clearly the last straw, I drove you to say some terrible things, and I know you would never say those things had I not driven you to a point of madness, and I honestly regret responding in the way that I did, I had no right to bring up your arrest, I mean it was only for a speeding ticket, you're one the road like all year, it's easy to let things like that sneak up on you. I just...I really wanna fix things between us.


Layla stops speaking, closing her eyes for a second while Kaitlyn just stands there still wondering what's going on.




{Layla}
Sorry, I'm getting a little emotional. The point I'm trying to get at is, I feel just awful about how our relationship has gone. I've come to the realization recently that I need to make amends for my past before I can move on and try to be a better person. So Kaitlyn, I know you have no reason to trust me, or believe that I'm one hundred percent genuine when I say this, but, I'm sorry for the way I've treated you, and I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

Layla lowers her head, she's poured her heart out, admitted she was wrong and now she stands there hoping she can make up for the past.



[Kaitlyn] Layla, listen. We've had our moments in the past, we have never seen eye to eye except maybe now because of them high heels your are wearing that add a good three or so inches to you, but that it beside the point. We've never seen eye to eye and when I say never, I mean never. And after hearing you talk into that microphone, saying not so nice things to me since they day I walked into this company, it is pretty hard to trust someone just like that. As of right now, I don't trust you. I'm being open and honest with you, but I just don't like you and a few simple words aren't going to change how I feel about you. I know it worked with Michelle, a few simple words plus a handshake and we had a little Laycool Reunion in the ring, but it isn't working with me. I just can't help but feel there is some kind of catch to this because all of this seems random to me, it feels as if this could lead to me being turned on once again.

Kaitlyn pauses for a second and looks at Layla, making sure she is hearing all of this before continuing.

[Kaitlyn] I over-reacted last week after Natalya turned on me, kind've let my emotions get the better of me and I regret that, but one thing I don't regret is saying "I don't trust anyone here" and if I had to make a list of the people I don't trust more then anyone, you'd be on the top. I know you probably don't blame me and trust me, I do feel somewhat bad for you but I can't trust you. Do you expect me to believe that suddenly Layla, that one diva who turned her back on so many people and treated everyone as if they were peasants in her kingdom, can turn into a good girl with a few simple words? I'd hope not, it takes more then a few simple words to prove you are good considering anyone can say anything to make people believe them.


{Layla}
I can't make you understand what it's been like for me, and I'm not expecting any sympathy, I've made a lot of bad decisions over the years, and I know I have to own up to those mistakes so that I can move forward, but honestly...I'm scared, Kaitlyn...I'm scared that I've gone too far, that nothing I do will ever make up for my past, and that scares me. I'm not perfect, I can't promise you that I'm one hundred percent reformed, and I'm bound to have a few slip ups along the way, it's hard to break a habit. I've done whatever it took for so long that it's a struggle to change myself completely. I'm capable of doing the right thing, I was at one point, but then I just became so wrapped up in all of this that I couldn't go back.





{Layla}
I just need someone to take a chance on me, someone that believes people can change. Someone who believes I have, that I'm not out to just stab them in the back when the least expect it, but that I'll have their back when they need it. I know it's hard for you to trust me, I've never given you a real reason to, but think back to The Slammy Awards last year, I had a rematch clause, you were cashing in your Miss Money in the Bank contract against Brie Bella, and I got Vickie to make me the special referee. Now I know you expected me to be unfair, and even screw you because naturally I would have preferred a one on one match at November to Remember, but I called it straight down the middle, and kept Twin Magic out of play so they didn't screw you, surely that showed some good in me? I even let you have your moment, raised your hand, congratulated you and left you to celebrate. I know it's not much, but didn't that show you I was at least capable of doing the right thing?



[Kaitlyn] Why? Why do you have to make this so hard on me?

Layla is a little confused at what Kaitlyn says as she continues to speak.

[Kaitlyn] I want to forgive you and try to make amends but I just can't help but think that giving you a chance would be like giving myself a chance to lose this championship or even the hospital. Giving you a chance would be like giving myself a one way trip to hell, I just can't help but think that. You try to convince me with all this "special referee" stuff when truth be told, I feel you did that so you could be as close to the Divas championship as you possibly could. I know you, I probably know you better then everyone here, besides Michelle McCool honestly. Speaking of which, just a few words won't impress me. You may have got Michelle to do a little Laycool Reunion in that ring last week but a few words and a simple handshake mean nothing to me. But back to what I was talking about, I would have beat Brie no matter if you were there or not because I'm better then her.



[Kaitlyn] Listen, you need to stop all this crying and whining, asking for acceptance type of stuff. If you want to be good then you have to stop asking and prove you want forgiveness. If you don't want to be evil, you've got to do two things. One, prove it and not ask for it and two, don't hang out with AJ Lee and her new boyfriend in their league of evil. Pretty strange couple right there if I do say so myself, but I guess they go together considering how crazy each of them are.


{Layla}
I think AJ's just misunderstood, I mean I've said some pretty bad things about her in the past too, and speaking as someone who has been where she is right now, I think even if you won't give me a chance or forgive me, you should at least try to work things out with her, and maybe be the friend she needs the most right now. Even through my arrogance back when you two were dominating this division as The Chick Busters, I saw the friendship you both had, it was a strong one, one that doesn't come around often, and I think it's a shame that things between you fell apart.



{Layla}
I'm not trying to get you to forget everything that's happened between us, but I just, I just don't know how to make up for everything I've ever done. You say I need to prove it, but how do you prove something like that if no one will give me the chance? I know you can't trust me, I'm not expecting you to right away, but I just wanted to try to tell you how sorry I am for everything, and if you won't forgive me then I don't blame you, but I really wish you could find it in yourself to give me the chance I was too proud to give you when you first joined this company. It's asking a lot sure, and you've already made your mind up about me so I suppose it's pointless to waste your time anymore than I already have, but after doing bad for so long, I just need someone to help me finally do some good. Where does a person like me go from here? The entire locker room doesn't trust me, I've never felt like such an outcast.

[Kaitlyn] You want to know how to prove yourself? You prove yourself by just proving yourself. Don't ask people for the chance, give yourself the chance. Wait for the moment to come and show them that you are there to help. Like for example, say tonight Nikki and Brie tried to double team me, that would be your chance to help. Or say Michelle was being attacked by another diva, that would be your chance to prove yourself and help her. You've got to act with actions, not words. People understand, words can truly mean nothing, and unless you go out there and prove yourself, I don't see anyone taking this serious.



[Kaitlyn] Now I'm not saying I want you out there as my manager or anything, or even out there to help to prevent something from happening, because this is my fight to win against the Bellas who I myself have some unfinished business against. But sometimes you can't always listen to people when they tell you something. You've just got to go with your gut feeling and if you gut feeling says do something, then do it. That is something that I've learned, trust yourself and your own opinions and thoughts more then the thoughts of someone else.

{Layla}
Well thanks Kaitlyn, I hope someday you'll be able to forgive me, I really do....but I've wasted enough of your time already so I'm gonna get going. I've got a match to get ready for myself so good luck out there, not that you'll need it, but just watch your back, I learned the hard way at Dead Mans Hand that they're a lot more sneaky than I initially thought....hey, before I go can you do me a favor out there?

[Kaitlyn] Um...

{Layla}
Give 'em a spear for Paige, you two had your differences but I know she'd appreciate it.

[Kaitlyn] Give them a spear for Paige? And I thought AJ was the crazy one here.

Kaitlyn turns around and begins to walk away, leaving Layla there. Layla waves at Kaitlyn with a smile on her face as Kaitlyn waves back with a more awkward and still unsure wave. Kaitlyn turns the corner and Layla lets out a sigh of relief, hoping that there is possibly a chance of turning things around. The smile grows back on her face and she begins to leave the camera as we fade to commercial break.

Breakdown comes back from a commercial break and we head backstage where Maryse is shown sitting somewhere apparently in the middle of a phone call. What she doesn't notice however is that Yoshi Tatsu is standing right beside her, though he's seemingly too nervous to even say a word, and is just stuck there in a frozen state.



Maryse starts to laugh at what the person on the other end said, but that's when she notices Yoshi standing there, and instantly she seems a bit confused, though since she's trying to be a nicer person she doesn't tell him to get lost, she instead hangs up her phone and smiles at Yoshi, this causes him to melt into a smile as well.



Maryse's reaction gives Yoshi the motivation he needs to finally say something, he's there for a reason, Maryse didn't shoo him away, it's now or never, he's about to speak, what's he going to say?!

{Yoshi Tatsu}
Hi.

[Maryse]
Bonjour, Yoshi! How are you? Ah, what's up?

{Yoshi Tatsu}
Yoshi wanna know, you free Sat day night?

Way to just dive into it there, Yoshi....

Oh, wait, I forget.

He turns around, grabbing something off a crate not far away from them, and turns back around revealing a very cheap looking box of chocolates.

[Maryse]
Wow, oh my gosh! This...this is really sweet of you Yoshi! How did you know that chocolate was my favorite! Même si le chocolat rend les gens gras, c'est certainement agréable de vous, gros connard! Of course I'm free Saturday night, especially for such a sweet guy as yourself.

Maryse winks at Yoshi and gives him a playful smile causing the guy to completely melt for Maryse. She opens the box to pick out a chocolate when the box is snatched out of her hands by someone behind Yoshi. The camera pans to the left to reveal it's none other than...

Chocolate?! My favorite!

Chuck takes a piece of chocolate from the box and throws it into his mouth. Quickly, Chuck gains a grimace, then spits the chewed up piece of chocolate into Yoshi's face.

"CARAMEL! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME OR SOMETHING?! Everyone knows I hate Caramel!"

Yoshi wipes the chocolate off his face, puts his head down, and leaves the room.

[Maryse]
How did you get in here! Who keeps letting you in here, you...creep!

[Chuck Taylor]
Well you see frenchy, I'm THE Kentucky Gentleman. Meaning, I put on my sweet Kentucky Gentleman charm to persuade my way into wherever I want. So what was that with Yoshi? Something going on betwe.... Never mind that, that's not why I'm here. I here because of the little contest I challenged you to last we...

Maryse turns her head and puts her hand in Chuck's face. Chuck grabs Maryse by the wrist, lowers her hand, then gets face to face with her.

[Chuck Taylor]
This contest, Maryse, is a contest like no other. In this contest, I am going to show the world, just how.... fake.... you really are. After tonight, people will be chanting in arenas around the world... "Chuck Taylor is the best wrestler in the world and is way better look than Maryse and is most certainly not a phony in any sense of the word!" See you out there... Mademgazelle.

Chuck walks out of the room while trying to do an evil laugh. This leads to him coughing. Chuck exits leaving Maryse in disgust and confussion. We move on to our next segment.

Breakdown returns from a commercial break and the cameras take us backstage to where David Otunga is seen speaking with the executive vice president of talent relations, John Laurinaitis.

John Laurinaitis
I’m a little concerned about the way things went down last week, Otunga. The plan we had set in motion was playing out perfectly, but you jumped the gun and forced it on a tangent.

David Otunga
I’m sorry, but I wasn’t going to sit on the sidelines watching you have your fun with Damien Sandow any longer. I know you’re a smart man, Mr. Laurinaitis, and when you look at me I know you see a star and you know that XWL needs someone with the talent that I possess now more than it ever did.

John Laurinaitis
All right, I see your point, perhaps I was getting a little carried away making Sandow miserable.

David Otunga
Let’s face facts, Sandow is smart, but he isn’t Harvard educated… he isn’t David Otunga. Not only am I clever, cunning and cerebral, but I’m a beast when I step between those ropes and any man that tries to test me is going to get knocked silly.

John Laurinaitis
That may be so, but there’s still the issue of the legality of your actions last week. Jay Lethal won that opportunity to face Sandow in the Feast or Fired match and…



David Otunga
Let me stop you right there, Mr. Laurinaitis, and assure you that everything that happened was well within the confines of the law. Sure Lethal was the man that won the case, but possession is 9/10 of the law and at the end of the day I was the man who had the case, not him. Besides, you officially declared me Lethal’s replacement in the contract match, which you had every right to do since you are the executive vice president of talent relations and the orchestrator of the Feast or Fired match. Lethal was unfit to compete, and Sandow had a contractual obligation to compete that night so you did what was best for business. If Sandow or Lethal have an issue with what happened, then you refer them to me and I’ll handle the rest.

John Laurinaitis
I like the way you think, Otunga, it’s great to have a man with your keen mind on the roster. Though as I’m sure you know, you don’t achieve success in XWL by being more intelligent than everyone else. However, someone like you will easily be able to outsmart them and destroy them in the ring on your rise to the top. That’s why I took the liberty to book you in a match tonight to get you started on that journey to success.

David Otunga
I could use a good warm up match since I’ve been gone for what feels like forever. So who am I taking on? Chris Jericho? Alex Shelley? John Morrison? Since I’m going to be a champion in this company sooner rather than later, I figure I may as well get asserting my dominance out of the way early on.

John Laurinaitis
Actually, the best I could do was schedule you to go one on one with Zack Ryder.

David Otunga
That clown? Man, I was expecting a challenge. But you know what? I’ll just make light work of Ryder and move on to the next victim.

Otunga takes a sip from his thermos and nods in Laurinaitis’ direction before leaving to get ready for his upcoming match against Long Island Iced Z, Zack Ryder later on in the show.



As the hype video of The A-List, David Otunga, comes to an end, the Tormentor of Souls, MsChif, appears on the screen looking as wicked as ever.

You thought you caught a break last week, didn’t you Madison Eagles? You couldn’t face the shame of being defeated by me twice, you couldn’t bear the weight of embarrassment when everything I said last week was proven right. You may think you’re on top of the world as Miss Money in the Bank, but I still look down on you and when I look into your eyes I don’t see a future champion, I don’t see someone who should be considered a threat… I see scared little girl afraid to death of the boogeyman. I don’t hide under beds or in closets, but I’m that thing that goes bump in the night and I’m the reason why the darkness is something to fear. So you have every right to be afraid, Madison, you’re in good company with the likes of Paige, Nikki Bella, Lita and Michelle McCool, names that I have repeated over and over and over again, names that should serve as a warning… but people like you always think that things will be different for them and it’s that way of thinking that serves as a catalyst for their tragic fall.

But as much as it pains me to say it, it won’t be just us in that ring tonight, Madison. We’ll be joined by a woman who I’ve been waiting to cross paths with for a very long time. In the blink of an eye she went from a deceitful, spiteful, self-absorbed, stain of a woman to someone she expects us to look up to, respect and idolize? I won’t pretend to know what your angle is, Layla, but I know you’re pretending to be someone you’re not in an effort to use the cheers of the people to fuel your ego. But tonight, I won’t go about trying to expose you, I’m going to test you and find out for myself if you’re as good as you loved to tell us you are. As far as you’re concerned, Kelly Kelly, your message was brought to my attention and if you know what’s good for you you’ll watch what you say or else that leg will be the worst of your problems and walking won’t be the only thing you’re incapable of doing. Once the video package of MsChif ends the scene opens up with Jeremy Borash standing backstage alone as he prepares to conduct an interview.

It’s great to see you again, Mr. Interviewer Man, though I would prefer to be called the United States Champion of the world. You following me right now?

Jeremy Borash
I’m not sure that’s possible, Alex.

Alex Shelley
People also thought that me winning this title wasn’t possible, but I proved them wrong, didn’t I? I went out and I beat Wade Barrett at Dead Man’s Hand, then I beat Jack Swagger last week, and tonight I’ll beat Cody Rhodes.

Jeremy Borash
Your match against Cody Rhodes isn’t for the United States title, so you won’t have to worry about losing the belt anytime soon.



Alex Shelley
That’s not gonna stop me from wrestling like the belt is on the line anyway because you know and I know and the fans know and Dusty knows that Cody wishes he were United States champion right now and I won’t give him the chance to brag and say that he got a win over the champ.

Jeremy Borash
Are you worried at all that a bitter Wade Barrett or Jack Swagger won’t try to stick their nose in that match and help Cody get those bragging rights?

Alex Shelley
Being champion means that I have a nice big target on my back, I knew what I was getting into and I’ll be as ready as I can be to thwart any attempt to make me look bad. In case you forgot, not only am I United States champion, but I’m also one half of the Ersatz Tag Team champions…

Jeremy Borash
Since you brought it up, what does Ersatz mean anyway?

Alex Shelley
Antonio Cesaro would be disappointed; someone needs to brush up on their German. And standing here as a dual champ means that the target on my back is twice the size of everyone else’s. Not only do I have to keep an eye out for Barrett or Swagger, but the Wolves may decide to make a surprise appearance or there’s a possibly the New Age Outlaws, who are anything but new, or that pairing I like to Kasseo Kruno, will come after me to try to show the world how great their teams are.

Jeremy Borash
Those two teams are actually going head to head later on in the show. Will you be keeping an eye on that contest considering your struggle to bring tag team wrestling to XWL?



Alex Shelley
Sure I’ll tune in and catch the last five minutes, but the winner will have to sit tight if they expect to get a shot at The Guns afterwards, because thanks to The Miz we’re on a little hiatus.

Jeremy Borash
In that XWL.com exclusive video, we saw you defend the Ersatz tag belts with a Chris Sabin cutout of all things. Any chance we’ll see you two join forces again sometime soon?

Funny thing about that is the Chris Sabin cutout out isn’t doing so well.

Chuck sprints to the back leaving the crowd in confusion. A few minutes later, the music of Chuck Taylor begins to play which can only mean one thing... it's time for... THE CONTEST! Chuck enters onto the stage. He is wearing a black robe and pink flip flops. He makes his way down the ramp.



[Justin Roberts]
Please welcome... CHUCK TAYLOR!

In the ring now, Chuck has stolen the microphone from Justin Roberts.

[Chuck Taylor]
Ladies and gentlemen... IT... IS... TIME FOR...... THE CONTEST! Which can only mean one thing. Maryse, get your cellulite covered assets out here!



Maryse enters onto the stage, looking down into the ring in disgust. She doesn't receive an introduction from Justin Roberts, seeing Chuck stole his microphone. She makes her way down the ramp and into the ring. She extends her hand so Chuck can give her the microphone. Instead, Chuck refuses and holds the microphone against his chest. Maryse calls for a microphone from ringside. As she is about to speak, Chuck can be seen staring at her chest.

[Maryse]
Okay, Chaz or whatever your stupid name is, what type of stupid contest do you want? Is...a-are you staring? See something you like? Are you there...hello? Are you awake? Are you alive? Are you conscious? Are you the biggest dummy in the entire XWL locker room? Are...

Not realizing she has said something, Chuck continues to stare at her chest.

[Maryse]
HEY! Stupide! Eyes up here, vous pervers!

Chuck quickly stops staring.

[Chuck Taylor]
Yes, thank you for asking. To be specific, this robe is made out of the finest Kentucky silk, hand made by my great grandmother, Geraldine O'Doyle-Taylor.

[Maryse]
I didn't ask what your stupid robe was made out of, stupid!

[Chuck Taylor]
You... you didn't ask what the robe was made out of...?

[Maryse]

[Chuck Taylor]
Oh yes! The contest! The reason I I've challenged you to this contest is simple... I've been watching XWL for years and for years, I've seen you walk around here thinking you're the best looking person here. I say, NO MORE! After I win this contest, people will have no choice but to recognize Chuck Taylor as the best looking PERSON in XWL! So without further ado...

Chuck pulls a glove and a scroll from one of the robe's pockets. He unrolls the scroll and places the glove in his right hand. He begins to read the scroll.

Chuck swings his right arm, causing the glove in his hand to slap Maryse, similar to duel challenges. Quickly, Chuck drops the black robe, revealing that he's wearing a pink bikini with diamond sequins. Maryse is shown in shock. The audience can be heard booing and laughing at Chuck Taylor.

[Maryse]
What the hell are you do...

[Chuck Taylor]
Listen Maryse... these people love me!

Chuck turns to the crowd.

[Chuck Taylor]
Who here wants to see more of Chuck Taylor?!

The crowd chants "No!"

[Chuck Taylor]
Your loss. Maryse, it's your turn. Wait, where's your bikini?!

[Maryse]
That IS MY bikini! Where the hell did you get that, you...pervert, creep!?

[Chuck Taylor]
Nonsense! This is my bikini. I had this tailor made by my cousin, Dolores Tayl...

Maryse interrupts.

[Maryse]
No, that is a bikini I designed exclusively for my House of Maryse line! Unless you bought it, which I don't see any tags or anything, you stole it from my bag, you creepy...UGH! I can't take this anymore!

Maryse throws the mic down and steps out of the ring, walking up as fast as she can visibly annoyed, disgusted, frustrated, and a whole lot of other things.

[Chuck Taylor]
Maryse, it's obvious you are just making excuses. So seeing you don't have a bikini... LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR WINNER CHUUUUUUUUUUUCK... TAAAAY....

The theme song of Hulk Hogan begins to play throughout the arena. The audience is on their feet cheering the man that is about to enter. At the theme song picks up, Hulk Hogan walks out onto the stage making an air guitar gesture. His theme begins to fade out and he begins to speak.

[Hulk Hogan]
Hold the phone, Jack! Before you declare yourself the winner of a contest you got no approval for. I ran into my daughter, Brooke, just before you came out here. She came across your phone backstage and she had a good reason to check it. We found a little video on your cell phone, shot by you. Why don't we roll the footage.

The screen shows Chuck Taylor earlier in the evening with a Krispy Kreme doughnut in hand. It shows him pointing the camera at himself while walking down a hall backstage, he takes a bite of the doughnut. He keeps repeating the same word over and over, "Diva's". He stops at a locker room door, "Ah... Diva's." He points the camera at a sign on the door that reads, 'Diva's Locker Room'. Without knocking, Chuck nonchalantly opens the door and enters. Luckily for him, the locker room is empty. Chuck is shown searching the name tags on bags until he comes across one in particular. He zooms in on the name tag. It reads, 'Maryse'. Quickly, Chuck unzips the bag. Without much looking, Chuck pulls out a pink bikini with diamond sequins. In the background a toilet flushes in the locker room restroom. Chuck hurries to put everything in the bag back in it's original place. A sink turns on in the locker room restroom. Chuck zips the bag up and returns it to it's original position. Chuck turns around to hear, "Hey! You're not supposed to be in here!." It's Hulk's daughter, Brooke Hogan. Chuck walks toward Brooke and shoves the Krispy Kreme doughnut into her mouth. Chuck says four words to Brooke, "You didn't see anything." He quickly rushes out of the Diva's Locker Room. The video ends.

[Chuck Taylor]
Oh! Come on! That doesn't prove anything! That could have been my long lost twin, Wesley Richard Taylor!

[Hulk Hogan]
Chuck, there's two problems with that. One, you are wearing the same bikini that was stolen from Maryse's bag... and Two, you still have the pink icing from that doughnut on you upper lip.

Chuck quickly wipes the icing from his face.

[Chuck Taylor]
...ALRIGHT! I did it! I would have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for your meddling kid!

[Hulk Hogan]
You know what Chuck. I'm in a good mood tonight. So here's what I'm going to do. Seeing that you like to disrespect women whether it be stealing from them or insulting them... it's only fitting you be punished by one. Next week, you'll go one on one with... I'll let you find that out next week, brother...



Hulk walks to the back leaving Chuck in the ring confused as we cut to a commercial.

Once Layla's theme begins to play, it's met by a mixed response from the fans in the arena, there's a group that's actually okay with what Layla did, she didn't technically cheat or break any rules, though there's another set of fans not so content with how things went down. Layla essentially stole the win from Mschif, though you could say she simply struck when the opportunity presented itself, much like many would do if in her shoes. However the scattered boos mixed in with cheers don't seem to dampen Layla's mood as she instantly throws her hands up in the air, ecstatic to be announced the victor of that insanely long match against two of the finest in the divas division.





{JR}
And Layla's done it?

{King}
Quite the interesting outcome of this incredible match, I thought Mschif had Madison there, but then Layla came to just in time to push Mschif out of the way and cover Eagles herself.

{Michael Cole}
I knew she hadn't changed! She tried to pull the wool over all of our eyes, but that right there proved she's still the same person.

Layla rises to her feet flashing a bright smile to the cameras while pointing out to the fans, getting more cheers this time, though there's still a clear portion of boos directed at her actions just then.



{JR}
I'm not so sure I'd go that far, Cole....did Layla steal the win from Mschif, yes....but compared to the things Layla's done previously to win matches that's quite minimal in comparison.

{King}
I have to agree, Layla's pulled the tights, put her feet on the ropes, illegally used weapons, raked someone's eyes, and had outside interference play a role in some of her previous victories...so just pushing someone out of the way after they knock someone out, I'm not entirely sure that's something we should condemn her for.

{Michael Cole}
You're joking right? She took Mschif's hard earned win away from her.

{JR}
We know Cole, but when a match goes on that long. everyone's pretty much earned the right to come out on top of that, so while Layla didn't lay Madison out herself, she did hold her own that entire time, I mean Madison had her down for the count so many times and Layla just kept kicking out, they all did.


After having her hand raised by the referee, Layla hears an angry Mschif fan yell out insults towards her about what she did. She responds simply by having a bit of fun and throwing her arms up still excited, and gives them a "Can you blame me" look.




She turns around shrugging mouthing "oops" before giggling playfully and continues in celebrating "her" win. It doesn't seem like she's overly enjoying stealing Mschif's win, but more so she's just so excited about how great the match was and she's happy she found a way to come out on top, while abiding by the rules.



As Layla’s theme continues to play, MsChif finally comes to after being knocked into the corner and music playing that is not her own tells her all she needs to know about the situation. The Ref checks on MsChif and offers to help her to her feet, but MsChif him out of her way and uses the ropes to pull herself to her feet. She takes a few steps over to Layla, cutting her celebration short and a hush falls over the crowd who wait to see how MsChif will react to what Layla did. MsChif stands there not just looking at Layla, but looking deep within her and the blackness she calls a soul that MsChif seemingly would love nothing more than to torment right at this very moment.

{JR}
Uh oh...

{King}
I'd get out of there if I were Layla right now.


Layla doesn’t back down, and if she’s afraid or intimated by the potential threat a few inches away from her then she isn’t showing it. She isn’t paying attention to the few people in the audience who seem to be eager to watch MsChif give Layla her comeuppance, and the former diva’s champion keeps an eye on her would be attacker watching for any sudden movements. Layla’s face doesn’t reveal any telltale emotions, until a look of surprise finds appears on it, when MsChif smirks, shakes her head either in pity or disgusts, then turns to leave the ring.

{Michael Cole}
Hey! Look! Layla's going right for her, I KNEW IT!


MsChif barely has a foot out of the ring when Layla suddenly lunges forward, and there are some gasps from the crowd thinking Layla’s going for the preemptive strike, but instead she places a hand on MsChif’s shoulder then quickly removes it when she realizes what she’s done. There are some “oohs” now from the crowd as MsChif slowly turns around and Layla would have dropped dead on the ground right then and there if looks could kill. Instead, Layla puts a smile on her face and sticks out her hand in some kind of truce.

{JR}
Color me surprised, but I thought you were right, Cole...apparently Layla just wants to shake her hand...

{King}
I've never been so confused by a woman's behavior...


MsChif looks down at the seemingly harmless hand and then back at Layla who is doing her best to look friendly though it doesn’t look as though MsChif is buying what she’s selling. The Ref gets between thte two women to avoid a potential physical altercation, but just like last time, MsChif pushes him out of her way then without warning, she sends the lethal green mist flying through the air and Layla barely has enough time to drop to the ground and roll out of the ring. Layla stares back into the ring and begins to mouth I didn't mean to make you ma-….

Darkness…

It’s pitch black in the arena now, and all that can be heard is the murmuring of the audience who begin to speculate about Layla’s fate. If she could dodge that green bullet and avoid getting hit with the mist could she avoid getting dragged into the darkness potentially never to be seen again? Or did she use up her proverbial “get out of jail free card”?

The questions are answered when after a chilling banshee scream by MsChif, the lights return and Layla is shown to be in the exact same place she was standing before the darkness struck. She looks around her expecting a MsChif surprise attack, but when it looks like the coast is clear, she lets out a sigh, then shrugs before making her way up the ramp with that smile back on her face.


{JR}
Well that was interesting to say the least.

{Michael Cole}
If you ask me Layla got off lucky. If someone stole my win I certainly wouldn't let them get away with it.

{King}
Cole, you couldn't win a battle with a piece of paper.

{JR}
Nonetheless...that was amazing divas action from three of XWL's top divas, and we're seeing the transformation in Layla slowly continue, I'm not sure if it's all an act like many speculate, but I will say she's starting to make me believe that perhaps she does want to change.

{Michael Cole}
Speaking of change can someone change the ring mat? There's green mist all of over it now.

{King}
Just once I wish she'd spit that stuff into your face...it'd be an improvement.

{JR}
Okay you two settle down, we'll be back in just a minute folks with more of tonight's exciting episode of Breakdown!

*Breakdown returns from a brief commercial break and we're taken to the ringside area*

What an amazing night it's been so far folks. We've had us some tremedous matches and we're not even close to being done.

Jerry Lawler
That's right JR. We've already seen great matchup's between Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan and got to witness first hand more of a reformed Layla battling it out against Madison Eagles and MsChif. Who after what happened at Dead Man's Hand, if I were the two of them, I'd stay clear of her.

*Cole shakes his head and chuckles before speaking*

Michael Cole
Y..You can't be serious Jerry.. pleas tell me you're not serious. She's just another woman who claims to be a "diva" why are you acting like she's the scariest thing you've ever seen?

Jerry Lawler
Oh come on Michael. Like you've never been scared of something or someone? I could name a few people that I know right now...

Michael Cole
Are you kidding me right now Jerry? Do you know who I am? I'm Michael Cole. I'm THE voice of XWL. What you are sensing isn't fear it's intimidation. Not me being intimidated by them, but, the fact is jerry they should be intimidated by me. I'm not now nor have I ever been afraid of anyone in this com...

*Suddenly Cole's cut off and in an instant the arena sits in pure darkness. Nothing but flashes from camera's can be seen throughout the entire arena. Cole can be heard yelling for someone to get the lights back on.

Moments later the lights begin to flicker on and off. We see a glimpse of Michael who slowly grips tightly onto his chair. In a quick flash the camera darts to the stage and stays focused on the titantron. After a few minutes static appears*



*Everyone in the arena stares in confusion. After a few minutes an image slowly starts to come in but keeps fading out at each passing moment*



*The camera cuts quickly back to the commentators with Cole now shaking his head in disbelief. He looks around before speaking again*

Michael Cole

*Suddenly the camera darts back to the stage an an ominous video begins to play*



*As the video begins to fade out the words He's Coming. Next Week. A Monster has risen appear on the screen before fading out into static once again. The camera cuts back to Cole who's as white as a ghost. He slowly sits back down as Jerry and Jim offer there thoughts*

I don't know what on earth just happened folks but I think we're in for one hell of a ride next week. I can't put my finger on who it is but I've got a sinking suspicion we all know.

That's for sure JR. There's been lots of "Monster's" in XWL's time as a company. So I'm with you on not having the slightest clue who it is.

*Cole finally comes to and shakes his head laughin*

Michael Cole
Y..You guys can't be serious? Jerry, you're telling me for as long as you've been here, YOU of all people have no clue who it is. Well, for once I think I've got the one up on you but, because I'm a nice guy I'll wait and see what happens. Trust me. Next week you're all going to be disappointed. Don't say I didn't warn you.

*The camera stays focused on the three before fading out to black with an advert from skittles*

*We return from commercial break and standing backstage is Josh Mathews, ready to get an interview started with an unknown superstar.*



[Josh Mathews] Welcome back ladies and gentlemen and standing with me at this time is the man who is set to take on the self-proclaimed "most must see superstar in XWL history" later tonight! Please welcome, John Cena!

*John Cena makes his way onto the screen, pumped up and ready for his match later on tonight.*



[John Cena] How's it going, Josh?

[Josh Mathews] Pretty good, thanks for asking. Now John, last week you were scheduled to face Jack Swagger. That is before he got the chance to become the United States Champion and took himself out of the match with you. What do you have to say about Jack Swagger "backing down" from the fight against you?



[John Cena] Instantly I said, "I thought this man was a real american" because if I'm correct, he mentioned something about how Americans never back down from a fight yet he did just that. I mean if I had the chance to become the United States Champion, of course I'd take it, but if I had made a promise to fight someone in that ring, I'd keep that promise and I'd go out there and fight them. Win or lose, it doesn't matter to me because in the end I went out there and I did what I said I would do. But in the end I did get the chance to face a very talented man who goes by the name Austin Aries in the only match he had competed in since returning to the company. But that is beside the point, despite how good I felt that match was, I went out there expecting to face Jack Swagger and I didn't get what I expected. You know what I mean?

[Josh Mathews] I can somewhat understand what you are saying, could you elaborate on it a little?

[John Cena] Okay, it's like this. Waking up on Christmas morning, running down stairs hoping you got the new Xbox 360 that you wanted oh so much and it turns out you got a Playstation 3! Obviously, not trying to start and console wars here, you wanted that Xbox 360 so bad but you can live with having the Playstation 3. It's a win-win situation because on each system could you buy XWL 2K14, which is set to come out this fall, and you could finally have the match between Jack Swagger and John Cena, the one all of us were dying to see! I'd still win, not to brag or anything, real life or in a video game.

[Josh Mathews] And before this interview comes to a close, what do you have planned for Jack Swagger after ditching the match that was scheduled to happen?



[John Cena] Well, it looks as if Jack likes to play games with people. Saying he will do this but then change his mind on it and go and do something else. He likes to mess with you and he does a good job with it. But as the old saying goes, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. So Jack, we can play a game of hide and seek. You hide, I seek. Once I find you, I think we'll have to play a good 'ol fashion game of rockem' sockem' robots. All jokes aside though, it won't be all that pretty. When I came back, I said I was going to rise to the top of XWL once again and with Jack Swagger stopping me from doing that, it has taken an abrupt halt and until I beat Jack. Well, we will just have to see what happens when the time comes.

*Cena leaves the view of the camera as we head to the next segment of the night.*

*Breakdown returns from commercial break and Christian is just finishing up his entrance as he steps into the ring, briefcase in his hand, before taking a stroll around the ring. Looking out into the crowd as half of the crowd cheers for Christian while the other half still boos him. He is handed a microphone from a worker at ringside and he waits a little bit, looking down at his briefcase, before raising the microphone to his mouth to speak.*



[Christian] So... Best in the world, am I right? Better then everyone, top of the food chain, top of the mountain, all that kind of stuff. But let me get this straight, if the so called "best in the world" got beat, would that truly make him the best in the world? Is CM Punk really the best wrestler in the world? I'm starting to question that because if he really was the best, wouldn't he had beat me at Dead Man's Hand? And I can't get that question out of my head, is CM Punk a fraud? A fake? A phony? I can't help but think that CM Punk isn't capable of backing up what he says on the microphone despite saying he can back everything up which is wrong too considering he didn't back that up. And let me just get this straight as well, from what I've heard CM Punk wasn't seen nor heard from last week on Redemption.

*Christian lowers his microphone as he looks out to the crowd before speaking again.*

[Christian] Wouldn't we call that, a sore loser? Is CM Punk a sore loser?

*The crowd cheers as Christian lets out a little smirk before speaking.*

[Christian] Yeah, we all know he is. I'm just guessing that he couldn't handle the loss. He couldn't handle the fact that he isn't the best. CM Punk isn't the best, you could call him one of the best in the world but I proved that he is not the best in the world. Hey, if I was able to beat one of the best this world has to offer, maybe I should start to call myself the best in the world? I don't know, I'd have to think about it because I'm pretty content with being Captain Charisma. The Instant Classic. The Livewire. But most importantly, XWL's Mister Money In The Bank and future World Heavyweight Champion!

*Christian smirks as he looks down at his briefcase before setting it down next to him. He raises his arm, pointing at the titantron, while raising his microphone to speak again.*



[Christian] Let us just take a look at what happened at Dead Man's Hand between myself and CM PUnk because maybe not all of us had the pleasure of watching it live.

*A replay from Dead Man's Hand begins to play on the titantron.*

[Christian] And there you have it. Fair and square, no strings attached, no cheating, just a clean win that looked like nothing but meant everything to me. It was important to me because I wanted to do something not many men could do and that was make the Voice of the Voiceless a member of the Voiceless. And I did just that and if needed, I'd do it aga-



*Paul Heyman's theme begins to play through the speakers in the arena and the light heartedatmosphere instantly turns on its head as the crowd begin boo'ing the arrival of Heyman but Heyman isn't on his own, walking down to the ring at either side of him or two security officers in full body armour and helmets. Paul Heyman and his guards climb into the ring opposite Captain Charisma, Heyman walks on over to the ropes and requests a microphone. He walks back into the centre of the ring, looking at Christian with a smirk on his face before raising the microphone to his mouth.*



[Heyman]: I am so sorry for interrupting your little moment in the sun but I know what you were about to say and I'm going to stop you before you go ahead and make a promise that you just can't keep and I just want you to know that I am not out here to make your acquaintance, I am here out of business not pleasure, I am here on behalf of my client and my very good friend CM Punk. There has been a lot of speculation about CM Punk after the match that took place at Dead Man’s Hand, many believe he is embarrassed, many feel that somebody finally succeeded in shutting his mouth but I am here to tell you that each and every one of you are wrong because CM Punk and myself don’t believe in fate, this result was not destined to happen and it was not the will of the God’s that you were able to defeat CM Punk. All that happened at Dead Man’s Hand was you proving to the World what we already know and that is that you are no more than a fluke artist. The fact that you have survived this long without your dear old Edge is a fluke, the fact that you hold that Money in the Bank briefcase so proudly in your hand is a fluke and your victory over CM Punk two weeks ago is nothing more than a fluke. For you it was a crowning achievement, a victory over CM Punk fluke or not is not something to roll your eyes at, you will be living off of that moment for some time to come but for CM Punk it was nothing more than a bump in the road, a momentary hitch on his path to regaining his World Heavyweight Championship.



[Heyman]: I know why people like yourself believe CM Punk’s disappearance is due to embarrassment and it’s because you’re foolish and naïve. I have known CM Punk for a very long time and I am one of the very select few people in this World who have the honour of being able to call CM Punk a friend of mine and that’s because I seen something in CM Punk that nobody else did, I knew from the second that I saw him that this man would be the future of the business and while everybody else turned their noses up at him because he wasn’t a cookie cutter wrestler, because he had tattoo’s and because he didn’t allow people to talk down to him and all the while I was standing beside him telling the World that this man will be huge and you all laughed, you laughed in my face and you laughed in his and what happened? CM Punk proved all of you wrong and despite what you claim Christian he proved to the World that he is the Best in the World.



[Heyman]: You see becoming the Best in the World isn’t based on one match, it is based on being the best performer, being the best talker and being the best on the roster and not only is he leaps and bounds over everybody else in this company but he has the one ability that everybody else lacks around here and that is that he can bounce back from adversity with ease. You and the XWL Universe like to think you know the inside scoop, you make your claims while the fans run to the nearest computer to parade it as fact but truth is you couldn’t be further from the truth. You say it’s embarrassment, you say it’s a hurt ego when the truth of the matter is it’s none of the above because while you may think you’ve gotten under his skin, that you have somehow gotten inside the head of the Best in the World and he is hiding somewhere licking his wounds when all that is really happening is all of the talk you are doing is setting you up for an even bigger fall because all CM Punk is doing is waiting for the opportune moment.

[Christian] And you expect me to believe that? CM Punk is waiting for his moment? Paul, listen buddy, he had the chance to have his moment at Dead Man's Hand and he missed the train. It's gone, out of here, sayonara. And if Punk is waiting for that "opportune moment" then he'll be having to wait for a while because I don't see any good moments coming for Punk. I see a dark and cloudy, somewhat depressing, future for the man who has fallen so far after he was once the XWL World Heavyweight Champion. I'm ready for any "fall" CM Punk may have planned, I've been at the bottom, I know what it is like to start at the bottom and work my way all the way to the top. I've done it before, I'll do it again.

*The crowd cheers for Christian as he continues.*

[Christian] I'll admit though, Punk knows how to turn nothing into something as much as I do. I've seen his DVD on Netflix and I'll admit, the guy has fought for everything that he has earned. But the thing is, I am the man who has something to fight for now when he has nothing. I repeat, nothing. He doesn't have a money in the bank briefcase to protect, he doesn't have millions and millions of peeps to satisfy and he doesn't have a pretty hot, if I do say so myself, sitting at home watching XWL week in and week out. *Christian looks to the camera and waves at it while speaking still.* Hey honey, how's it going? *Christian then turns his attention back to Heyman as he continues.* And what is the deal with these two guys? Are you like, scared I'd beat you up? Like some playground bully looking to take the lunch money from that little chubby kid who has no friends? I'm sure you could relate to the chubby part, and no friends part, but let's not get into that.



[Christian] Call it a fluke, call it luck, call it whatever you want to, Paul. The fact is that I beat Punk when it mattered, live On Pay-Per-View, in front of too many people to even count. Compare me to Edge some more, why don't you, I've already broke away from his shadow in case you've forgotten. Hell, I even had my own theme made for the moment I broke away from it. Remember it, Paul? Sounded as if an arena had turned into a Opera. But seriously, with this whole Edge thing, get some better insults. Like seriously, please get some better insults. The whole Edge lines are getting so old because it seems like both you and Punk love to mention them. Punk, he can say whatever, he can say how he's proved us wrong. He can say this, he can say that. But in the end, I don't see him, I don't hear him and quite frankly, I'm fine with that.



[Heyman]: Congratulations. A couple of days ago you were standing on your own two feet, making your own path in this business and doing whatever it takes to get there. Yet now, you stand before me pandering to these “Peeps” of yours, people who accepted you about five minutes ago and yet you speak like you’re for the people, that you’ve always been at their side and fighting for what they want to see. I’ve taken you for many things Christian, a fluke artist being one of them but never once did I consider you to be a hypocrite, yet here I stand, astounded by the sight of yet another hypocrite amongst the ranks. It’s a crying shame too because all though you made irrational threats and claims you were at least mildly entertaining, you at least had some potential because you had that attitude that you were going to prove everybody wrong and make it on your own but now you’re not fighting for yourself, you’re fighting for these fickle fans who will turn their back on you as quickly as they embraced you. To them, you are the new hot topic and they will cling to you because you performed a miracle the other night, you did the unthinkable and defeated CM Punk but eventually there will be another hot topic and you will be a flash in the pan to these people.



[Heyman]: If you were wise you would take my word for it but I know the situation, I’ve seen it all before and you have become dumb to it all. You believe that they love you with all intent and that they will never go away and I do wish that were true, that would have made my job as a promoter that much easier but if that were true why would these fans turn their back on The Rock? The very man that they claimed to be their People’s Champion and they abandoned him to move onto someone who was fought against the rules, who isn’t by any definition a people person and yet they praised and cherished CM Punk before they too went back to where they came from. It is their nature, they want to cheer for the new thing and they will leave anything to say they were with the “In” crowd. As far as my insults go, I’m not one of those people who stoops so low to insult a person, I call them as I see them and I tell the hard facts. I am one of the best bookers and greatest minds that this business has ever seen and if Paul Heyman tells you that you are still in Edge’s shadow, then buddy you can take that to the bank.



[Heyman]: You question why I have security out here this evening? Well these two gentlemen beside me are out here to keep sure that you don’t get out of line and try to lay your filthy hands on me, you can try and twist it anyway you like but the truth of the matter is that I want to ensure my own safety when I’m in the ring with somebody like you. A man who changes between a good guy and a bad guy as quickly as you did is quite clearly unstable of mind and I deem it an unsafe work environment by being in this ring with you by myself, I’m not an athlete, I’m not a performer and to be perfectly honest it would be quite stupid of me to get into this ring without some protection. So for the benefit of yourself I would keep in mind if you even think of getting out of line, these two fine gentlemen will be all over you quicker than you can blink.

[Christian] What can I say? After dealing with people like you, it's nice to have some fans out there. Makes me realize how annoying I was after hearing how annoying the two of you were. And please, can you come up with your own material? I was the one who orignally talked about "hot topics" and stuff like that so I know what a hot topic is when I see one. I'm not one, I'm not just a hot topic because I was one a while back but this time I see things differently. But I can see why you say that. My career has been on fire these past couple of months and it will just keep getting hotter once I win the World Heavyweight Championship. So Paul, why don't w-

[Heyman]: We could go back and forth all night but quite frankly that will get us nowhere, you can keep spreading your lies about the true reason as to why CM Punk isn’t here but when the hard reality of the situation that you have found yourself in strikes, I don’t think you will be in any state of mind to regret your choice of words. As a matter of a fact, maybe you should take these two fine gentlemen here with you because God knows you’re going to need them or if you’re too stubborn to accept advise from someone like me then how about I just give you their number because God knows your wife could use some protecting…

*The second Paul mentions Christian’s wife he leaps forward and wraps both of his hands around his collar trying to drag him closer, but the two security guards that Heyman hired try to push Christian away. He begins to struggle and break free from the two guards until he eventually releases Paul Heyman so he can fight his way through the guards but the pair manage to drive Christian into the corner making it even more difficult for him to try and break free. Heyman stands behind the two henchmen barking orders towards them but his tail quickly tucks between his legs as Christian somehow wriggles free and tackles Heyman to the canvas but before he can even throw a punch one of the security guards pushes Christian off of Heyman. Christian quickly gets to his feet and swiftly kicks the oncoming guard in the groin, naturally causing the guard to fall into a heap on the mat. The second guard comes over and luckily he doesn’t suffer the same fate, the two men begin fighting for control and Christian gets the upper hand and kicks the guard in the gut. He then grabs his arms and goes for the Killswitch, he motions to the crowd but before he can deliver the final blow Paul Heyman strikes Christian with a night stick that he retrieved from the fallen guard. Christian crumbles to the canvas, allowing Paul Heyman to get to his feet and fix his shirt and tie. The guards return to their feet and stand over Christian, unable to stop them both guards grab either arm and restrain Christian from being able to move.*



*The crowd turn into a sea of hate as soon as CM Punk’s theme begins playing through the speakers and Punk walks out as casually as you can, with a huge smirk on his face and happily strolling through the hate and boo’s that are raining down upon him. Christian stares Punk in the eye, as he does Punk throws a cheeky little wave his way which only serves to anger Christian, he tries as hard as he can to break free from the two security guards that are holding him but he just can’t seem to escape. Punk climbs into the ring, he assess’ the situation for a moment but to everyone’s surprise walks straight past the restraint Christian and instead heads over to the other side of the ring and climbs back out before walking over to the time keepers area and grabbing Christian’s Money in the Bank briefcase. Punk climbs back into the ring and stands in front of the helpless Christian, who is still trying his hardest to break free from the guards but begins to accept the situation. He looks up and stares CM Punk dead in the air and says “You son of a…” but before he can utter the final word CM Punk in poetic fashion drives Christian’s own Money in the Bank briefcase into his skull causing his entire body to go limp. The two guards release him and he falls face first to the canvas, where he lies dead still. CM Punk turns and faces the crowd, he places a foot on Christian’s back before raising the Money in the Bank briefcase high in the air. Paul Heyman stands proudly behind CM Punk, applauding his actions while CM Punk screams “Best in the World!” loud enough for the heavens to here. Punk looks down at Christian’s lifeless body and spits on him, before he and Paul Heyman exit the ring, taking Christian’s most prized possession with them: the Money in the Bank Briefcase. Half way up the stage Punk hands the briefcase to Heyman, who holds it high in the air for the World to see while Punk extends his arms in the air. XWL then fades into a hype package for The “Show Off” Dolph Ziggler.*

*Breakdown cameras head to the back where we see Seth Rollins walking down a hallway, wearing a new Asking Alexandria shirt with his hair in a mess. He doesn't notice the cameraman until.*

[Cameraman
Seth! Do you think you could answer some questions before your big match against the World Champion tonight?

*Seth looks up at the camera with a stoic look on his face.*

[Cameraman]
Uh......What are your thoughts on facing the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho tonight? A man who is fresh off of his latest title defense which saw him beat the man who retained his title against you.

[b][Seth]
What are my thoughts? Well I think Hogan must have recovered from all of those beatings from Steen, because after 6 months he's finally realizing what kind of talent and potential that stands before him. Funny you say that Jericho beat Morrison right after he beat me, because if John Morrison wasn't a complete idiot he would have realized that he should have just forfeited the Intercontinental Title match because when you go up against Seth Rollins, you're gonna need to be 100% to win. So it doesn't surprise me that Jericho won, but one thing's for sure I'm not going to be the one staring up at the lights at the end of the night.

[[Cameraman]
Speaking of the Intercontinental Championship, do you know if you'll get another shot? Possibly at Unforgiven?

*Seth has now gone on his phone, seemingly ignoring the question.*

[Seth]
Of course I'm getting another shot, you would have to be an idiot not to give me one. John Morrison is not better than me, he has not pinned me. He's pinned The Rock once, I did it TWICE in 2 weeks. Now if you'll excuse me I have important business to handle.

*Seth then walks and bumps the cameraman, after a few seconds of watching Rollins walking away, Breakdown heads to the next segment.*

*Natalya is shown walking backstage as the cameraman approaches her as she lets out an annoyed "What?!"*



[Cameraman] Uhm, sorry to bother you Natalya.. But we were just wondering if we could get a word on what happened last week with-

*Natalya cuts off the cameraman.*



[Natalya] Don't. Just don't. I know exactly what you're going to say. "Oh poor Kaitlyn, she didn't deserve that!" "Why Nattie why?" Because that's all of the same things I've been hearing from anyone and everyone. I'll tell you why. I attacked Kaitlyn and made a bigger statement than any other "diva" has in the past couple months because I can. I was sick and tired of being casted aside for so long and you really believed that goody two shoes, happy for the opportunity Natalya was how I really felt? Tell me Mr. Cameraman, if they got some other fat slob to do your job for a year and act like you're pretty much nothing.. Then the higher ups come crawling back to you and just act like everything's fine, would you be cheery? Would you be on top of the moon because they're finally seeing your untapped potentinal? Or would you be angry at the fact that they've let you go un-noticed for so long?

*The cameraman goes to speak but Nattie cuts ahead again.*



[Natalya] Well let's be honest, you seem to have no backbone with how you're letting me push you around so you'd probably sit there and say thank you. But that's not the kind of person I am. I was casted aside in the divas division like I was nothing and I knew that when I got my chance again that I'd make a mark that would force people to take notice. I don't care if you hate me or if you love me, if you boo me or cheer me it doesn't matter as long as I'm out there doing what I do better than any other diva to lace up a pair of boots. I've had people saying things about me all week, calling me a sore loser, calling me bitter. You're damn right I'm bitter and I have the right to be, and Kaitlyn can say whatever they please but if they were in my situation they'd be bitter too.



[Natalya] Speaking of Kaitlyn.. I haven't really had the chance to express my feelings towards her at all until now. When I look at Kaitlyn I see an amateur who is in way over her head and is letting the title get to her. I mean come on! Look at the opponents she's faced before me, Alicia Fox and Paige, I mean, who? And Beth Phoenix aka the shell of her former self.. Not to mention The Bellas who hardly know a wrist lock from a wrist watch, but that's all beside the point. And I know what you're all thinking, "But Natalya, you lost to Kaitlyn too!" Let me get this straight, Kaitlyn did not beat me fair and square in a wrestling match. Oh no, not at all. She managed to "out-extreme" me in a barbaric Extreme Rules match, let me get this straight. I'm not here to hit people with weapons or throw them through tables, if Kaitlyn and I had a straight up wrestling match it's fair to say that the title would be around my waist right now.



[Natalya] Now does that answer all of your questions?

[Cameraman] Um, yeah.. Thanks for your time Natalya..

*Natalya shakes her head and walks away from the cameraman as we fade away to a video package.*
