*Some highlights of the Money In The Bank match from earlier begin to play before ending with Christian holding the briefcase high above his head. It fades to black before we head to the interview area where Matt Striker is seen standing with a microphone in hand.*

[Matt Striker] Ladies and gentlemen, standing with me at this...

*And before Matt Striker could continue he is interrupted by the man who he was going to interview, the new Mr. Money In The Bank, Christian!*

[Christian] Stop right there, Matt, I got this. Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, Matt Striker's guest at this time is the new Mr. Money In The Bank and the next World Heavyweight Champion, Captain Charisma, Christian! I outlasted three other men, not one, not two, but three other men. And not just any three men, I beat some of the youngest and so called "brightest" stars who would have had a "bright" future if they won this Money In The Bank but in the end, it didn't matter because the veteran of the ladder stopped each and every one of them. Dolph Ziggler, the show off, the hashtag heel. The only thing he can go ahead and call himself is the Hashtag Loser because after weeks of promises, he failed to uphold that promise of his and he lost. Despite him being a former two time Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler just didn't have what it takes to win the big one for the second time. He had the chance inside the Elimination Chamber, he lost. He had his chance here tonight, he lost. And if he ever manages to win the big one within the next three hundred and sixty five days, I'll be there to show him how to truly steal the show. Next we had John Morrison who walked in oh so confident because guess who he beat two times before this? Yeah, me, but third time was a charm Johnny. I won the match of ours that mattered the most because you can keep that Intercontinental Championship of yours because I've got a World Heavyweight Championship waiting for me in my near future.

*Christian raises his briefcase a little and looks as it as he finishes his sentence. He lowers it before going to speak again.*

[Christian] And then we had Dean Ambrose who claimed that I would be nothing but a casualty. Man were you wrong because the only casualty I saw in this match was you, Dolph Ziggler and John Morrison. All of you fell victim to the man who deserved to win this match more then anyone. Captain Charisma, The Instant Classic, Mr. Money In The Bank, Christian. This gives me the chance to finally move on from them people and move onto the division that I rightfully deserve to be in, the World Heavyweight Championship division where the best of the best compete for the top prize this company has to offer. Fighting against the likes of Chris Jericho and Joey Ryan, despite me being better then both of them, they should get a pair of eyes for the back of their head because you screw up once, you let yourself get too distracted, I'll be right there to take the championship from your undeserving hands. And...

[Matt Striker] Um, excuse me, Christian. I think you forgot someone when you were talking about the Money In The Bank ladder match.

[Christian] No I didn't, Who?

[Matt Striker] Stone Cold E.T.

[Christian] What?

[Matt Striker] The guy who came in and hit the Stone Cold Stunner on all four of you and almost won the match.

[Christian] When?

[Matt Striker] A little halfway over the match, you even tipped him off the ladder and then the four of you exchanged high fives.

[Christian] And where did this happen?

[Matt Striker] In the middle of the ring.

[Christian] I'm sorry, Matt, but I don't think you were watching the same match that I was in.

[Matt Striker] But that was the match that...

[Christian] No, don't come up with your pity excuses. That doesn't even sound like me. Why would I let Stone Cold E.T. hit the Stone Cold Stunner on me? Why would I high five any of those three men? Why would I even help any of those three men tip the ladder over? It doesn't make sense, Matt, now does it? I think you really need to go watch the match over again so that you will know what you are walking about next time we decide to have an interview together, which from the way things seem, it will be a while before that happens again.

*Christian snatches the microphone from Matt's hand and raises it up to his mouth to speak.*

[Christian] Now beat it, I've got some things to say still.

*Striker backs away, not to happy as Christian turns his attention to the camera and begins to speak with the microphone near his mouth.*

[Christian] Chris Jericho, Joey Ryan, Stan the Hotdog Vender from section one hundred and fifteenth seating section. It doesn't matter who it is. It doesn't matter who the World Heavyweight Champion will be because in the end, it won't matter. In the end, I'm going to be the World Heavyweight Champion. I've worked so hard to get this briefcase and I'm not going to let anyone stop me from becoming the World Heavyweight Champion. I'm going to be the man who beats the little boys who think this company is a game. I'm going to be the man to break the Money In The Bank curse that has had Batista and Michael McGillicutty fall to it. They both tried to cash in yet failed. I'm not going to be like Rob Van Dam either and lose my briefcase to Batista because this briefcase, this shot, this is mine and it isn't anyone elses. Now if you'd excuse me, I've got a win to celebrate. Luckily none of the losers will be there because this celebration is going to be for winners. Christian is a winner, I was born a winner, and winning is how I roll.

*Christian smirks as he leaves the view of the camera and a hype video for the Divas Championship match begins to play.*

*The camera shifts to ringside where the broadcast team consisting of Jim Ross, Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler are shown. They all seem to be in high spirits and just as excited to be in attendance as the thousands in the crowd.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 SF0Mhsj

[Michael Cole]
What a show we have had so far tonight! And there's still so much more to come!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Every match so far has lived up to the hype and I'd expect no less. This is Final Stand after all!

[Jim Ross]
I feel honored to be at ringside for such a historic event. The quality of this show has been off the charts and we still have several matches still to come on this stacked card.

[Michael Cole]
I can barely hear myself think above this crowd! I can't-

[???]
Final Stand... the showcase of the immortals... the grandest stage of them all... and the show where the best wrestlers in the world prove exactly how good they are...

*The image of World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho appears on the titantron screen to a rapturous volley of boos from the Final Stand audience. The mood instantly shifts from electrifying positivity to being downright hostile.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 NOW2i

[Chris Jericho]
It's a fitting venue for someone like me to further cement their legacy in history. After all, I am the best in the world at everything I do. Nobody on this show, or on any other show can hold a candle to my greatness. Especially not someone like Joey Ryan. But I've already said enough about Ryan and I'm tired of wasting my breath on someone like him. I'm going to talk about the future instead. I'm going to talk about the bright future ahead of me as I continue to emphasize the fact that I am the greatest World Heavyweight Champion of all time. You might be thinking right now that I'm over-confident or that I'm being complacent... but you're wrong. There is only one outcome of the main event tonight and that is Chris Jericho retaining the World Heavyweight Championship in a resounding and dominating display. That's not a prediction. It's a fact. You cannot stop the inevitable.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 ImFCE

[Chris Jericho]
So once Final Stand is over... when all is said and done... all of you parasites and hypocrites can look forward to more of the same. More of Chris Jericho showing up your heroes as the talentless wastes of space that they are. More of Chris Jericho making history and even more of Chris Jericho as World Heavyweight Champion. The reality is that that title is mine and mine alone. I have deserved to be champion since the day I set foot in this company and after I regained the title at Uprising I made a promise to myself that it will never leave my waist again.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 RmvXV

[Chris Jericho]
And Christian, if you're watching this... don't you even think about cashing in that briefcase of yours tonight. Because if you do, trust me... it will be the biggest mistake of your life. If you think Joey Ryan is going to have it bad, it will be nothing compared to what I will do to you if you cash in that case. If you try to steal my title away like some common thief, rather than face me man-to-man, one-on-one in a fair straight up match... I won't be held responsible for what happens to you. I won't let you pick up the cheap, undeserving victory that you're secretly scheming right now. And I'm not just talking about tonight, I'm talking about any night. If you want a memorable moment for all the wrong reasons... go ahead... cash it in. I dare you Christian. I dare you...

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 BJzlt

*Jericho stares into the camera until the titantron screen goes black before being replaced by an animated Final Stand graphic. The pay-per-view then continues...*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 MyUfFTa

*With the arena now changing to a purple hue and the “party” just getting started, it could only mean one thing: the arrival of XWL's Foxy Diva, Alicia Fox. The sold out crowd in the Georgia Dome cheers loudly at the Florida native.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 OxY1z91

*Fox walks out from behind the curtain, causing the roar of cheers to get somewhat louder as she walks out onto the stage and blows a kiss towards the live audience in attendance before doing her usual playful animalistic gesture; beginning her descent down the entrance ramp.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 7BhzTpU

*About halfway down the ramp, one “Foxy” fan extends his arm in hopes of getting a low five from a certain Foxy Diva. Fox sees this and slaps his hand, causing the fan to let out a “Yes!” clearly content with Fox's kind deed. She makes it to the bottom of the ramp and stops just a few inches shy of the ring apron. Fox scans the crowd with a huge smile on her face, knowing that the moment of truth has arrived and she is just moments away from making good on her promise to make two thousand and thirteen the year of the Fox.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 SGcaYpb

*She takes a deep breath and climbs up onto the apron before entering the ring. She undoes the alloy eagle on her hood and removes it from her shoulders, raising it into the air and twirling it in her usual manner while walking to the turnbuckle on the opposite end of the ring. Fox scales said turnbuckle and twirls is again, moving her hips from side to side for a few moments before she hops off.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 BtHyDfk

*Fox turns around and walks back to the turnbuckle she was just at, while still twirling the hood above her head. She scales the turnbuckle and repeats what she just did a few moments ago. She jumps off the turnbuckle and walks over to the center of the ring, handing her Foxy Hood over to the referee, who walks over to the side of the ring and hands said hood to the timekeeper. Fox remains at the center, not taking her eyes of the entrance ramp, awaiting both her opponents for the evening.*

*The “party” quickly comes to an end as the theme of the self-proclaimed Anti-Diva, Paige, begins to play, drowning out the mixed reaction for the British born Anti-Diva.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 CaQq7

*After a few moments, Paige emerges from the backstage area and stands on the stage, as her nameplate swipes across the bottom of the screen. She remains on the stage, burning a hole through her Foxy Rival, Alicia Fox. Both women have put each other through hell, and have been in almost a stalemate since their rivalry had begun. Paige motions to Fox by moving her arms close to her waist, clearly stating that she believes that she will be the one walking out with the Divas Championship. Fox replies with one of her many animalistic gestures, causing Paige to begin walking down the entrance ramp and towards the ring.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 5gTSj

*She stops near the bottom of the ramp, spotting a kid shouting out “Let's go Paige!” causing her to stop in her tracks and gives him an almost confused look. The kid extends his arm towards her, hoping that she will slap it just as Fox did to the other fan moments ago. She stares at his hand for a moment before locking eyes with the kid. Paige slowly raises her arm in his direction, causing the kid to slap her hand as a huge smile appears on his face. Paige takes a few more steps down the ramp and is now a few inches from the fan that slapped hands with Fox a bit earlier on. She looks at Fox as a smirk appears on her face, while Fox looks on, wondering what Paige has in mind. Almost instantly, a loud smack is heard as Paige's palm meets the face of the fan with a thunderous slap. The fan holds his face in pain as Paige continues walking down the remaining portion of the ramp, leaving Fox almost annoyed in the ring. Was Paige playing mind games with Fox, or did she just not like that specific fan?*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 DX1BH2I

*Paige begins to scale the ring steps, not taking her eyes off of Fox, while the fan is shown still holding his face in the background. She enters the ring, letting out a loud yell, possibly showing that she's ready for this match. She paces back and forth for a moment before she removes her jacket and takes a step towards Fox. The ref stops Paige from advancing anymore, causing her to take a step back. Both rivals lock eyes once more, this time, mere feet from one another. You can feel the tension and hate between them but this isn't a one on one match between them. It appears that they have forgotten that there is still one diva left to make her entrance in this match, the champion herself, Kaitlyn.*

*A new theme begins to play but as the titantron lights up, people realize it's the Divas Champion, Kaitlyn, and begin to cheer.*

*Kaitlyn comes rushing out from the back with the Divas Championship in her hand as she goes to the top of the stage. She holds the championship up in the air for the arena to see as she looks on with a giant smile on her face, probably exited for it to be that time of year again.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Normal_shot0046~36

[Jerry Lawler] Welcome back ladies and gentlemen! You decided to join us at the perfect time because we are about to have some Diva action on our hands! Kaitlyn is set to defend her Divas Championship against two divas who are pretty new to the championship scene.

[Jim Ross] Right you are, King, she is set to go against Paige and Alicia Fox, two Divas who have been going at each others throats for a couple of months now and it has recently been brought into the championship scene. May not be that good for Kaitlyn, but she has prevailed through triple threat matches before.

[Michael Cole] She won the Divas Championship a while back in a triple threat match against Natalya and AJ Lee. She defended it a couple months back in a triple threat against Brie Bella and Layla. Now, she has another triple threat in front of her. But the thing we have to realize is that this triple threat may be the hardest yet.

[Jerry Lawler] How? The first time she went against a second generation Diva and her best friend. The second time she went again Layla who was still as mad as she could be after losing the championship and Brie who was on the verge of exploding rage because of Kaitlyn forcing her to only have a one week championship reign. I don't see how it could get worse then that.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Normal_shot0050~34

[Michael Cole] Paige and Alicia Fox, both have never been champion. Both are hungry to be the champion and both of them are in their first championship match at Final Stand. Both have had amazing momentum going into this show and they have slowed Kaitlyn's momentum going into the show more then any other challenger against Kaitlyn has going into the title match. You both may thing I don't care for Divas, but I still pay attention to things around here. I'm the voice of XWL for a reason.

[Jim Ross] I've gotta give it to you, Cole, you bring up a good point. But now, why don't we hear from the Divas Champion herself, earlier tonight she decided to take some time out of her busy schedule to sit down and talk to us about the match for a little bit. And roll the footage.

*The Final Stand logo flashes across the screen as Kaitlyn appears on the titantron with the "earlier today" logo pasted on the bottom left hand corner.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Normal_shot0095~27

[Kaitlyn] So it's that time of the year again, Final Stand! You truly don't know what it is like to finally get my chance to compete on this stage because last year my chances were cut short when Layla decided to cash in her briefcase to get a championship match there. I would've had the rematch clause in my possession but not every story can end with a happily ever after apparently But with a new story comes a new ending and this ending that comes from this story is going to end with that happily ever after that I never got the chance to have. Paige and Alicia Fox, neither of them will stop me from defending the championship because I've worked hard for this, I'm not going to give it up that easily. You can put bets on who will win this but if you want to be smart about it, I'd go with the Diva who has a better win average in triple threats where the championship is on the line then any other Diva in XWL history. And I don't mean to sound cocky when saying that because I'm only stating the truth.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Normal_shot0096~25

[Kaitlyn] Before tonight, two triple threat matches. Two wins. After tonight, three triple threat matches. Three wins. I'm at the highest point of my career, I can't let myself lose just yet. Everyone loses eventually but now isn't my time and now won't be my time to lose because it's going to be my time to win. I'm not going to fall of the "mountain" of XWL because I'm just going to keep reaching higher and I'm going to make sure I'll be remembered as one of the greatest Divas this company has ever seen. Last week I had a realization that I was trying to add some fun into this little triple threat we have going but not everything is fun and games. Alicia made me realize that when she got me eliminated from the two on three handicap match, the match that was made for us to win and not for us to nearly lose. Tonight, the words "nearly lose" won't come to mind as I'm going to go out there and win and I'm going to make sure neither Diva nor wrestling fan out there can say that I "Nearly lost" that match. This is Final Stand, this is the biggest show of the year, this is the biggest Divas Championship match of the year I'd say. And I'm not saying that because I'm in it, I'm saying that because of how unpredictable it is.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Normal_shot0120~26

[Kaitlyn] Paige, Alicia, I wish you the best of luck because you'll need it. You wanted to make this serious, more serious then it had to be then you've got your wish. Before this, I've never been a super serious wrestler, I've had some fun and games but now that I'm taking this a more serious. You better be ready to go toe to toe with a Kaitlyn that nobody has had the misfortune of going against yet because you don't quite understand what I'm truly capable of. I'm not just another pretty face, I've got a body building background and if needed, I will break you so that you will remember tonight for the rest of your life. The night Kaitlyn defeated you to defend her championship. Final Stand V, the night the downfall of your career began thanks to me, the Divas Champion, Hybrid Diva, Kaitlyn.

*Kaitlyn smirks as the Final Stand logo flashes across the screen and we head back to the arena. Kaitlyn, Paige and Alicia are all exchanging glances at each other.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Normal_shot0124~26

*With everybody now on opposite ends of the ring, the ref calls for the bell, signaling the start of this Triple Threat Divas Championship Match. Fox and Paige share a glance as Kaitlyn looks at her opponents for the evening. Paige approaches Fox and motions towards Kaitlyn. Even thought they're bitter rivals, you've got to believe that neither of them want Kaitlyn to walk out with the Divas Championship over her shoulder. Kaitlyn doesn't take her eyes off either woman and prepares herself for what ever they have in mind. A few words are exchanged between them before Paige smirks and shifts her attention to Kaitlyn. It quickly becomes a mistake as Fox spins her back around and begins laying in forearm after forearm to Paige's unprotected face. She manages to duck one and returns the favor, landing a series of forearms on Fox.*

*Kaitlyn decides to step in and turns Paige around, going for a slap, but Paige is able to duck it and it connects on Fox instead. She stumbles backwards onto the ropes as Paige lands a swift kick to Kaitlyn's gut and follows up with a few forearms for good measure, sending her into the turnbuckle. Paige takes a step back and runs towards the Divas Champion but Kaitlyn manages to move out of the way as Paige is sent crashing into the turnbuckle. Kaitlyn quickly rushes at Fox and drops her with a clothesline. With the opening part of this contest now over, the momentum is easily in the corner of the Divas Champion.*

*Kaitlyn goes to lift Fox to her feet but the Foxy Diva still has fight left in her and pushes Kaitlyn into the ropes. She rebounds off said ropes and back towards Fox, who tries to hit her signature Tilt A Whirl Backbreaker, only for Kaitlyn to land on her feet and drop Fox with a Scoop Slam. Kaitlyn notices Paige regaining her composure out of the corner of her eye and runs towards her. Paige manages to hit a well placed elbow to the side of Kaitlyn's head, stopping what ever she had in mind and sends her stumbling a few steps back. Kaitlyn runs at Paige again, this time a boot connects to Kaitlyn's jaw, temporarily knocking her down to her knee. Paige uses this moment to her advantage and quickly scales the turnbuckle. She leaps off with a huge crossbody but Kaitlyn was playing possum and manages to catch her in midair! Just when it seemed that Kaitlyn was going to send Paige to the mat with one of her many power moves, Fox gets to her feet and lands a hard kick to Kaitlyn's lower back, allowing Paige to escape her grip.*

*Paige positions herself for a suplex attempt and motions to Fox, who surprisingly helps Paige, and hit a double suplex on the Divas Champion. Fox quickly goes for the cover but before she could get a one count, Paige breaks it up and pushes Fox back, going for the pinfall attempt. Fox quickly breaks it up as the two rivals share a glare between one another. Not taking her eyes off of Fox, Paige lands a few kicks to the downed Kaitlyn, sending her out of the ring and onto the padding on the outside. The triple threat has temporarily become a one on one match between two woman who know each other really well. Both woman circle each other before locking up in the center of the ring. Not wasting any time, Fox quickly takes a page out of her rivals playbook and stomps on Paige's foot, giving herself the advantage, locking in a side headlock. Paige tries to push Fox off of her but Fox's grip is just too tight. She hits a few elbows to Fox's gut but the hold remains unbroken. She applies pressure to the hold, stopping Paige's offense for the moment, causing her to resort to stomping on Fox's foot. Fox slightly releases her grip but it's just enough for Paige to send the Foxy Diva into the ropes.*

*Fox ricochets off the ropes and towards Paige, who launches Fox over her head with a back body drop. Fox manages to land on her feet and poses with her arms extended for a moment. Paige turns around and sees that Fox is still on her feet. She rushes at her rival, only for Fox to hit a Tilt A Whirl Backbreaker seemingly out of nowhere. Fox keeps Paige on her knee for a moment before sending her to the mat with force and goes for a pinfall attempt. The count is broken at two by Kaitlyn, who drags Fox out of the ring by her feet and sends her back first into the ring apron. She slides back into the ring but before she can react, Paige quickly locks in a small package and gets a two count. The expression on Kaitlyn's face says it all, the look of shock at almost losing her Divas Championship to Paige. Kaitlyn and Paige both make it back to their feet as Paige motions to Kaitlyn that she was “that close” to beating her for the Divas Championship. The two women lockup and it's apparent that Paige is no match for Kaitlyn's strength, getting backed into the turnbuckle rather quick. Kaitlyn backs off due to the ref and Paige uses this to her advantage by landing a stiff kick to Kaitlyn's gut.*

*Paige grabs Kaitlyn by her hair and throws her into the turnbuckle, landing a wave of punches, forcing the ref to interject himself in between the assault. Paige takes a step back before running and jumping at Kaitlyn for a Monkey Flip attempt but Kaitlyn manages to use her strength to stop herself from getting launched across the ring. Paige is left with her jaw dropped as Kaitlyn begins to walk to the center of the ring and turns throws Paige up into the air, catching her on her shoulders. Paige begins to unload a series of elbows to the side of Kaitlyn's face, in an attempt to escape the hold. She's successful and is back on her feet but not for long. With Kaitlyn doubled over, Paige hops onto Kaitlyn's back and goes for a Sunset Flip. Kaitlyn is able to stop yet another of Paige's moves and somehow manages to get Paige back onto her shoulders, this time, hitting what she had in mind the first time, a huge Gutbuster. She goes for the cover. Just a split second before the ref could make the three count, Fox flies into the ring to break the count.*

*A staredown between Fox and Kaitlyn takes place as Paige gets out of harms way and crawls towards the nearest turnbuckle to catch her breath. Kaitlyn raises her arm towards Fox and says something that isn't picked up by the cameras. One has to believe that there is mutual respect between these two divas. Fox smiles and nods her head before extending her arm towards Kaitlyn. Before they can shake hands, however, Fox lands a stinging slap on the Divas Champion, perhaps returning the favor from earlier on in the match. Kaitlyn goes to reach for Fox but the speed is in the favor of the Foxy Diva, as she quickly slides behind Kaitlyn, locking her arms around her waist. Kaitlyn tries to fight out and does, putting herself behind Fox, who hits a few back elbows to escape the hold. Just as she's about to deliver the final one, she spots Paige running in their direction and ducks down, causing Paige to hit a clothesline on Kaitlyn instead.*

*Paige looks at a downed Kaitlyn before shifting her attention to Fox, who kicks her in the gut, doubling Paige over. She goes for her finishing maneuver, the Scissors Kick, but Paige is able to catch Fox's leg and lands a stiff forearm shot to Fox's exposed face, sending her down to the mat. Not releasing her grip on Fox's leg, she grabs the other one and tries to flip Fox over to her stomach. She tries to fight it but Paige manages to lock in the Cloverleaf! She applies as much pressure as she can, causing Fox to let out a scream in pain while reaching for the ropes. Knowing that Fox will submit at any moment, Paige tries to apply a bit more pressure but before she could, Kaitlyn is already on her feet and has rebounded off the ropes on the opposite end of the ring. Paige doesn't notice the incoming Kaitlyn until it's too late and gets thrown off of Fox with a thunderous Spear!*

*Kaitlyn pins Paige but she manages to get her foot on the bottom rope with a split second shy of the three count. Kaitlyn motions to the ref if it was a three count, the ref mouths that it was a two. Paige holds her ribs as she starts making her way to the nearest turnbuckle while Fox, still feeling the effects of the Cloverleaf, tries to use the ropes to lift herself up to her feet. Kaitlyn walks over to the farthest turnbuckle and begins measuring up both her opponents, possibly with another Spear in mind. Both woman make it to their feet almost at the same time, leading to Kaitlyn making a beeline towards Fox, who is the closer of the two. Fox uses all her remaining strength and hops over Kaitlyn, who walks into a desperation Side Kick from Paige and gets knocked down to the mat. Fox uses this moment to her advantage and hits one of her finishing maneuvers, the Fox Drop, before going for the pin. Paige dives at Fox, breaking the pinfall attempt right before the refs hand hit the mat for the three count.*

*Fox begins to give Paige and the ref a piece of her mind, knowing full well that she had the match won, but Paige is having none of it as both rivals begin to trade words with each other. After a few moments of back and forth, Fox pushes Paige back, causing the Anti-Diva to give Fox a shove of her own. Fox's expression quickly changes before she tackles Paige down to the mat and begins hitting her with anything and everything she can. Fox's offense, consisting of slaps, forearms, slaps, and punches, is cut short by the ref as she's pulled off of Paige. She begins shouting at the ref, telling him to get his hands off of her, giving Paige the perfect opportunity to strike. Paige tackles Fox down to the canvas and returns the favor by unloading with a series of forearms. The ref tries to pull Paige off of Fox but Paige just shoves him away, knowing full well that she can't be disqualified. After a few more moments of forearm strikes, Paige subdues her assault for the moment and rises back up to her feet, letting out a yell, showing that she's gotten a second wind and is fired up.*

*Paige lifts Fox up to her feet and shoves her back first into the turnbuckle. She follows up with a few shoulder blocks to Fox's abdomen. Paige takes a few steps back and before she can do what she had in mind, she spots Kaitlyn behind her on the Titantron and quickly turns around. Paige sees that Kaitlyn has already started running at her for what looks like another Spear. She manages to side step Kaitlyn, fully avoiding contact, and Fox barely hops up to the top turnbuckle with a split like only she can, forcing Kaitlyn to crash and burn on the middle turnbuckle. Paige sees an opening and wraps her arms around Kaitlyn's waist, possibly looking for a German Suplex. She tries to lift her up, but before she can, Fox throws herself forward for a Sunset Flip, flying over both her opponents and causing Paige to throw Kaitlyn halfway across the ring with a German Suplex, while she crashes onto the mat due to the Sunset Flip by Fox. She follows up with a pinfall attempt but Paige manages to barely get her shoulder up off the match before the three count.*

*All three women lay on the mat, trying to catch their breath. The seconds feel like minutes as the battle to gain the momentum is underway. Many moments pass as Fox is the first to show signs of life and begins to use the ropes as leverage to lift herself back up to her feet. Paige is the next to start moving and tries to make it to her feet without using the ropes. Fox makes it to her feet first and goes to grab Paige, but is instead pushed into the turnbuckle. Paige uses everything she has left in the tank and runs towards Fox, jumping into the air in an attempt to hit a Monkey Flip. She's unsuccessful as Fox stops herself from getting thrown across the ring and instead places Paige on the top turnbuckle. Fox hits a few forearm shots on Paige, temporarily dazing the Anti-Diva.*

*Fox scales the turnbuckle and attempts a Superplex from the top rope. Paige fights it for a few moments but little do either woman know that Kaitlyn is back on her feet and is making her way towards them. Paige tries to fight Fox off but a forearm to Paige quickly puts and end to that. Kaitlyn positions herself under Fox and grabs a hold of her waist before she sends both of her opponents crashing down onto the match with a Powerbomb and Superplex combo. Instead of going for the pinfall attempt, Kaitlyn backs herself into a corner and begins to stalk her prey, while also using this time to regain her breath. Eventually, both Fox and Paige make their way back to their knees and begin to hit each other with forearms as they slowly rise back to their feet. The second they make it to their feet, Kaitlyn wastes no time making a beeline towards both challengers to her Divas Championship and before they can react to Kaitlyn, she hits a huge double Spear, sending both woman back down to the mat. Paige falls out of the ring as Kaitlyn goes for the pin on Fox.*

*The fans erupt into cheers as Kaitlyn gets the pin on Alicia, officially defending her championship! Paige is on the outside clutching her stomach after the double spear as she obviously isn't happy. Kaitlyn lets go of the pin on Alicia as she stays on her knees, raising her arms up into the air after defending in this triple threat match. The referee approaches Kaitlyn with her championship and hands it to her, raising her arm in victory as she takes the championship from the referee. The referee lets go of her as Kaitlyn places her other hand on the back of her head after that tough match she was just put through with the championship still raised in the air.*

*Kaitlyn begins to walk around the ring with the championship still raised as she sucks in the cheers from the fans live in attendance. She is pointing at her championship, shouting to the fans "This isn't going anywhere!' which they like to hear.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 YsO6puf

The camera cuts to several views of the live audience. The crowd are on their feet and there is a feeling in the air that something special is taking place here tonight. This is XWL's biggest Pay-Per-View of the year - scratch that - of all time, and the XWL Universe are rising to the occasion with their outbursts of excitement and pure emotion. Suddenly, the camera focuses on ring announcer Justin Roberts who has a microphone in hand.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 XmVWbbr

[Justin Roberts]
Ladies and gentlemen... it is now time for the first ever, Divas I Quit Match!

The crowd roars in anticipation. Roberts grins as he continues, showing his inner-fan.

[Justin Roberts]
The only way to win this match is to force your opponent to utter the words... I QUIT!

The theme of "The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix hits to an outstanding reception from the fans. Phoenix appears at the top of the ramp and menacingly twists her wrists as she begins her descent down the entrance ramp. There is a clear look of intent and purpose in her eyes as she is completely focused on the destruction of her hated rival Layla here tonight.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 3q3TnZE

[Justin Roberts]
Introducing first, from Buffalo, New York... The Glamazon, BETH PHOENIXXXX!

Beth shows little emotion as she makes her way down the long entrance ramp surrounded by the thousands upon thousands of fans in attendance. They are going crazy for the fan-favorite Glamazon.

[Jim Ross]
Well folks, this one is going to get ugly. There's no doubt about it in my mind that this matchup will not be for the weak of heart.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
You're right JR. I mean, I'm all for a good catfight. But this is beyond personal.

[Michael Cole]
For months, Beth Phoenix and Layla have shown that their hatred for one another goes beyond almost anything we have seen before when it comes to the women of XWL. From costing each other matches and titles, to causing injuries and considerable pain... we have seen it all.

[Jim Ross]
This match is as unpredictable as they come. Both women are two of the top female competitors in the world today. The score between the two in this bitter rivalry is 1-1, and what better way to settle the score than at the biggest show of all time, Final Stand V! It all comes down to this matchup where one woman will be forced to utter the words, I Quit!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
I can't think of a more humiliating way to lose to your most hated rival than to admit defeat...

[Michael Cole]
And if the past is anything to go off of, it will take something special to make either woman say those words here tonight. Both are as tough and resilient as they come. We have all the ingredients in place for a very special match here tonight. It's a privilege to be sat here at ringside in the best seats of the house.

Beth struggles to climb the ring steps, clearly feeling the effects of last week where her knee landed awkwardly on the barricade at the hands of Layla. She takes little notice of her discomfort however, and walks the apron towards the turnbuckle.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 3atzSR8

[Jim Ross]
That knee will certainly be a target for Layla. It was only a month ago we all thought Beth's career was over.

[Michael Cole]
You're right JR, if I was Layla, I'd be going straight for that knee as soon as the bell sounds. It's a clear weakness and something which she would need to take full advantage of. She can't match Beth for pure power.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Let's not forget about Layla's past injuries either. Both women have weaknesses which will no doubt be exploited here tonight. That's what this match is all about. Putting your opponent through as much punishment as possible.

Beth mounts the turnbuckle and throws her arms up to strike her signature pose. There is a brilliant flash of light as thousands of fans take advantage of this awesome photo-op.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 DvElV07

Phoenix flips backwards and lands on her feet, completing her entrance. Her steely expression remains intact as she walks to the opposite side of the ring, and looks around at all the fans showering her in adoration. Her gaze then returns to the entrance way, as she awaits the arrival of the woman who has caused her so much pain and anguish over the months.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 QHkEZHc

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Look at those eyes. I'd hate to be Layla right now. Beth looks like she's about to kill someone.

[Jim Ross]
If you never thought Beth Phoenix could be more intimidating than she normally is, you're being proven wrong right now. She has a fire burning in her eyes of which I have never seen before.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
And who can blame her? Layla has cost her the Divas Championship and almost ended her career!

[Jim Ross]
Not to mention her public humiliation last week.

[Michael Cole]
I think you're being a bit biased. Don't forget what Beth has done to Layla over the months too! I don't blame either woman for being full of emotion here tonight.

Layla's theme strikes the P.A and immediately all those cheers die down and loud boos take their place.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 2BiX4q6

She poses at the top of the stage with a smirk on her face, then begins to strut down the ramp ignoring the fans, and her obvious fear along the way.

[Justin Roberts]
And introducing her opponent, from Miami Florida, Layla!!

[Michael Cole]
Layla looks ready to me, I think you two should give her more credit, she might be outmatched when it comes to power against Beth, but when it comes to accomplishments there is no one that's on par with Layla. She didn't get this far on luck alone.

[Jim Ross]
She's certainly cemented herself as one of the best currently, if not to ever step foot in this company...but when you call yourself the best, you've gotta be ready for everyone that's looking to prove they're the best as well. Beth's set her sights on revenge for what happened at The Monster Bash, and while she almost had her career ended last month, she came back like a house of fire and that could be enough to make Layla say the two words that Layla feels Beth should have said a long time ago.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 WJoL2Uv

Layla reaches the ring then pulls herself up onto the ropes, eyeing her opponent tonight and very bitter rival, Beth Phoenix...she's never been targeted by someone like Beth before a few month ago, and while she's tried to hold her own, it's not been easy. Perhaps her biggest challenge has been fighting her own fear, and the powerful foe that now stands in that ring. After what seems like forever she makes her way over to the ropes before stepping onto the bottom rope and gliding her body across the ropes and looking right into the cameras with a worried smile.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 LoG5zwA

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
She's very good at hiding it...but after hearing her talk to one of our cameramen just a bit earlier, you can tell she's not as confident as she usually is, she might be trying to look it, but you can tell by just looking in her eyes.

She steps off the ropes then back to the mat, glancing back at a coldly staring Beth Phoenix, she removes her jacket and throws it to the outside before making sure her kneebrace is well in place. .

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 YTke98k

[Jim Ross]
Nonetheless this one's gonna be one for the history books, I advise you get comfortable because there's no telling how long this will last.

The bell sounds. Time appears to stand still as Layla and Phoenix exchange looks. The crowd roar in anticipation as this historic match gets underway. Beth and Layla circle around each other for a moment, almost like two bulls waiting for the other to charge. Finally, contact is made as both women lock horns in a collar and elbow tie up.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 LepLfYf

[Michael Cole]
And here we go!

The tie up doesn't last long, as Phoenix displays her power and throws Layla backwards almost effortlessly. Layla bounces off the canvas, but quickly rises to her feet. Shock clouds her face as Beth shakes her head.

[Jim Ross]
Look at the power of Beth Phoenix! Such strength.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Layla won't want to go toe-to-toe with Beth in a test of strength too often in this one. It's not the best idea, she's probably even stronger than most men on the roster!

Phoenix confidently beckons Layla forward for another test of strength. Layla thinks about it for a moment, then takes a step forward. She feigns a lockup and instead lands a huge slap across the face of The Glamazon! A loud "Ohhhh!" erupts from the audience.

[Jim Ross]
Bah gawd! What a slap!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Well... I don't think that was wise.

[Michael Cole]
Of course it was! It's genius! Layla knows she doesn't stand a chance against Beth in a straight up power contest, so she's trying to throw Beth off her game and get inside her head!

Layla chuckles to herself as Beth seethes from the slap. A rage burns in her eyes as she lunges forward, taking Layla down and mounting her to land some big right hands.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
If she wasn't mad before, she is now!

Beth lands big shot after big shot on her fierce rival. Layla somehow manages to switch the position so she is the one on top and she smashes the back of Beth's head into the canvas over and over again.

[Michael Cole]
You see! Layla knew that would work, now she's in control!

Layla screams as she pounds Phoenix's head into the mat continuously. She finally relents and rises to her feet, beckoning for her rival to do the same. A dazed Phoenix finally mimics her actions, and Layla goes for a big roundhouse kick. Beth ducks and as Layla's back is to her as she finishes off the roundhouse kick motion, she grabs her around the waist and lifts her up into a back suplex.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 JCF6Sie

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
What a counter! She would have taken Beth's head off with that kick!

Beth allows Layla little time to recover and picks her up roughly by her hair. She throws her into the ropes looking for something big on the rebound, but Layla counters by performing a running crossbody!

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 DVaWK2O

[Jim Ross]
Beth's power is without a doubt a major difference maker in this match, but Layla's speed gives her an edge in moments like that.

[Michael Cole]
It's the perfect battle of power vs speed, and while strength may give Beth an edge, it doesn't guarantee her victory by any means.

Beth pops up to her feet almost instantly but Layla's ready to keep this match under her control by locking in a side head lock on The Glamazon.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 GQYApl0

Trying to match power for technicality doesn't seem to go Layla's way though as Beth lifts her up while Layla tries to apply pressure! Kicking her legs just as much as she can she manages to land back on her feet, the headlock still in tact. But Phoenix attempts to get out of her hold once again by pushing both herself and Layla into the ropes just across from them, Layla however isn't about to give up so easily and kicks her feet up, springboarding off the ropes with the momentum sending them back into the same situation they just were moments ago.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Layla's determined I'll give her that, it's still too early to judge but she's doing a good job of matching Beth's power with her unique offense. I do think it's a mistake to attempt to wear someone like Beth down with just a head lock though.

[Jim Ross]
I agree, she's surprised me with being able to counteract Beth's attempts to break free, but that'll only last so long.

"Cmon Beth! Quit!" Layla screams at her, the referee grabs the microphone out of his pocket and tries to put it to Beth's face, but she slaps it out of his hand, then pushes Layla back against the ropes, delivers several hard forearms to the gut, but the British diva refuses to let up. Instead with Beth still held tightly Layla jumps up off the bottom rope in the corner next to them, then off the second, then attempts to do the same to the third, but as her feet make contact with the top rope, Beth shows her just who she's dealing with by giving one good push forward with her hand making Layla lose her foot and her grip all at once and sends her crashing face first on the outside!

[Jim Ross]
Good god in heaven that's one way to get out of that! Layla just took a nasty spill to the floor.

[Michael Cole]
No! Someone go check on her, Beth's got no regard for her safety!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
You're right, she doesn't, and in this type of match she doesn't have to! Layla got too showy there, she might have been trying to get them back in the middle of the ring while keeping the head lock in strong, but Beth's strength threw that plan right out of the ring along with Layla.

Beth has exited the ring and starts to pull Layla up by her hair, she's still a bit dazed and confused after what just happened, and matters are made worse when Beth starts to charge with Layla held in her grasp towards the barricade!

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 ZRcJ24X

Unable to stop what's about to happen Layla's chucked with unbelievable force into the corner of the barricade! Layla falls to the ground after that brutal impact, holding her back with one hand, and her head with the other, the fans are going wild at this sight they've got before them, Beth pulls Layla up again, this time almost carrying her, she runs right for the barricade after backing up a few steps for added momentum, she's go vicious intentions, but they don't get to be followed through with as Layla pushes herself up just enough before impact so that she can land almost sitting on top of the barricade, with Beth's chest colliding with the hard barricade, giving Layla the chance she needs. She wraps her legs around Beth as she kneels in front of her, then begins to ram her face into the barricade wall repeatedly!

[Michael Cole]
Look at that cunning woman! For anyone doubting her this is what makes her such a threat, you never know how or when, but Layla always has incredible awareness of her surroundings.

[Jim Ross]
I'll admit that's certainly impressive.

"Get over here ref!" Layla screams while continuing to give Beth one hell of a headache. He runs out of the ring and over to the two, he moves the microphone towards her while her head continues to be bashed against the wall. "Do you wanna quit?" the referee asks, Beth remains quiet for a few seconds, no longer than three, before snatching the microphone out of his hand, then bonks Layla right across the head with it! She topples over the barricade landing in the crowd, her hold broken, and now with a headache of her own. Beth then raises the microphone up and shouts "No!" to a tremendous pop from the fans.

[Jim Ross]
This one is spilling into the crowd!

Beth climbs over the barricade into the masses to pounce on her fallen prey. She pulls Layla to her feet and begins dragging her up the steps. The fans go insane at this close up view of the brawl.

[Michael Cole]
The referee has lost control of this one! Get them back in the ring already!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Who said they have to stay in the ring?

Phoenix roughly drags Layla through the crowd as she continues to climb the steps. Layla is still dazed. Phoenix reaches the exit, but instead, takes the steps to the side and begins to climb even higher...

[Michael Cole]
Where are they going?

Layla finally begins to struggle a little, but Beth delivers a stiff forearm smash to her face, again rendering her dazed. She finally reaches her destination - a railing above the exit way. The floor must be 15 feet below, and it's concrete. Beth points towards it and the fans go into an excited frenzy.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
This can't be good...

Beth brings Layla towards the railing, and picks her up in a military press! She holds Layla high above her head as she threatens to throw her over. The crowd hold their baited breath as Beth screams "Quit Layla! Do you quit!"

[Jim Ross]
This could be nasty! If I were Layla I'd quit while I still can!

Despite her predicament, Layla screams "NOOO!" and bites the forearm of Phoenix. Beth winces in pain and drops Layla, safely to the floor as she clutches her wounded arm. Layla quickly gets to her feet, and with her adrenaline pumping, she charges at Beth tackling her into the rail... and both women fall over the top to the concrete below! A loud "Ohhh!" is followed by a chant of "Holy shit!" as both women remain motionless on the floor below. The match official holds his head in complete and utter shock.

[Jim Ross]
BAH GAWD! BAH GAWD! THEY WENT OVER THE RAILING! THAT'S 15 FEET HIGH! GET SOME HELP OUT HERE! THIS MATCH IS OVER! GET SOME HELP OUT HERE GODDAMMIT!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
I don't think I've ever seen anything like that in my life!

[Michael Cole]
We knew this would be ugly, but this is just insane! Both women are completely out of it now.

The fans continue to chant as somehow, some way, both women despite being bruised and battered after such a sickening fall, begin to slowly stir...

Layla took the least out of that horrific crash landing, but appears to have tweaked her repaired knee in the process. She holds it for a moment as she sits up, a dueling chant then begins "Let's go Layla!" "Lets go Beth!" Layla's not a favorite by any means but the fans are so into this match that they appreciate what each woman is willing to do not only for their entertainment, but to make the other quit. Layla begins to try to stand up, while Beth is still on the floor, not at all okay after fall to the floor. tries to stand finally, but drops down to her good knee and holds her bad one.

[Jim Ross]
I've doubted Layla's chances in this match, but while it seems as if she's tweaked her knee, Beth's not at all in good shape after what just happened, and this is the opportunity Layla needed to turn everything around.

[Michael Cole]
People don't give Layla enough credit, she's willing to do whatever it takes whenever she has to, and if her spearing Beth over a fifteen foot distance drop doesn't show you that then nothing will.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
I've never seen two women with such disregard for their well beings.

[Jim Ross]
Layla doesn't look like the kind of woman that could do some of the things she has, but that's what makes her dangerous, you don't expect it, and when it happens, you don't know what the hell to do.

Layla's managed to pull herself up, though her injured leg is noticeably being favored, but Beth is still down, and so Layla points down at her then yells out "She's got something to say, don't you Beth?!" is this it? Will Beth utter the words Layla is wanting to hear? The referee hesitantly walks over to the two, placing the microphone down as he knees by Beth, then says "What do you say, Beth? Do you quit?" The fans cheer her on just the best they can during the silent moments of uncertainty, Layla yells out "Just quit!" but right away Beth finds it in herself to scream "NOO!!" the fans erupt into an excited frenzy while Layla's jaw drops, and the fear we've seen on her face during this exchange with Beth for the last few months makes an appearance...If that didn't make her quit then what the hell will?

[Jim Ross]
You've gotta give it up to Beth, whether it's foolish or not, she's got the heart of a warrior.

[Michael Cole]
She can't even move a muscle, it's entirely foolish, it's stupid! Quit! Layla is better than you, quit!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Pipe down, Cole! She can't even here you from all the over here.

After getting over the feeling of disbelief that Layla got when Beth didn't quit just then, Layla pushes the referee out of the way, grabs a handful of Beth's hair and begins to drag her across the floor, all the way over to the barricade, she struggles while trying to not loose her footing due the aggravated knee she's dealing with, but eventually is able to sit her up against the barricade, then grabs her knee for a second...she's perhaps in more pain than she's trying to let on, but she's got something in mind to hurt Beth, and she's bent on doing it. She walks over to one lucky fan, they're cheering her on, yelling "Go Layla!" but he's in for quite the surprise as she yells back "Get up!" he seems confused, and she screams again "Give me your chair!"

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
What's Layla doing?

[Jim Ross]
It looks like she's yelling at that man to give her his chair...that's one way of getting what you want.

The man looks at her for a second, then as she gives him one hell of a dirty look for just sitting there, he finally stands up and she snatches the chair from it place before pushing it inward and heading back over to Beth.

[Michael Cole]
This is gonna be good, I just know it!

Layla's arrived where Beth's slumped against the barricade wall, still in no shape to move an inch, she's ripe for the picking and Layla's exploiting that in every way she can right now. She places the chair against Beth's face, pulling up her own arm to hold the chair in place. She then backs up a few steps, shouts "Flawless!!" then comes charging at Beth, both feet leaping off the ground, coming together for one pin point drop kick in mind, but as she comes flying at her, Beth's hands grip the chair, and she swings like a mad woman connecting with a hell of a shot at Layla's bad knee! She screams out in one gruesome shrill, and she drops to the floor, on the brink of tears clutching her knee in agony.

[Michael Cole]
No! Leave her knee alone!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
What a shot! Layla is in agony!

[Jim Ross]
This one could be over right here folks!

Beth realizes that shot hurt Layla badly and smells victory. She approaches the downed Layla with the steel chair in hand and lodges it behind her knee and locks in a boston crab! The steel rips into Layla's knee joint and she screams out in agony!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
What innovation!

[Jim Ross]
This has to be over! It has to be!

Layla sobs as Beth screams "Ask her!". The referee kneels down with a mic in hand. He asks the question and Layla responds with something of a primal scream as she wails in agony, but she refuses to say the two words. Beth continues to apply the pressure despite being clearly hurt and fatigued herself, until she can no longer. Out of pure exhaustion she releases the hold and slumps forward to rejuvenate her energy as Layla continues to favor her knee.

[Michael Cole]
Look at how resilient Layla is! She's a diva to be admired! Such courage!

[Jim Ross]
How she was able to survive the onslaught of punishment to her knee, I will never know. But this match continues folks.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
What will it take to make either of them quit?

At this point, King's question seems to have no answer as both women have been destroyed both physically and mentally already. The pain and fatigue is clear upon both their faces as the camera zooms in on them both for a few seconds as they try to recover and continue their battle. Beth is the first to recover, and pulls Layla to her feet with a considerable amount of effort. She throws her over the barricade onto the mats and climbs over herself as the crowd cheer her on. She looks to drag Layla to her feet again, but Layla kicks her square in the face and knocks her into a seated position. As quick as a cat, Layla has burst of energy and darts onto the downed Phoenix, and lays in rights and lefts in a flurry of fury.

[Michael Cole]
Let her have it, Layla!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
I'm amazed at how just when we think it's over, they keep turning it around on each other, Layla specially.

[Jim Ross]
They know tonight isn't just about making the other quit, it's about making a statement, a statement neither woman will dare utter without one hellacious struggle.

Layla finally stops her assault and gets off of Beth, screaming out in a release of frustration. She hobbles over to the ring, kneels down on her good knee and throws the skirt up over the ring, she searches under the ring for something to help her make Beth finally say those two, words, she keeps searching and searching, until finally...she begins to back away from the apron revealing the beginnings of a ladder! The fans pop in a big way once they see what she's struggling to pull out from under the ring. It takes her a few tries but she finally slides it out fully, then pulls it up against the apron before pushing it under the bottom rope and into the ring, what does she have in mind? No one seems to know right off, but she goes back searching under the ring again, while Beth starts to try to pull herself up unbeknownst to Layla.

[Jim Ross]
That's an object I didn't expect to see in this match!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
That ladders taller than she is, and probably heavier too!

[Michael Cole]
She's going out of her comfort zone, I don't know what she's got in mind, but the wheels are turning in the head of the Diva of the year, and Beth's done for.

We see Layla pulling a table out from under the ring now, this rivalry is no stranger to tables, it all started with one brutal drop through a table for Layla, and it escalated into a tables match, where Layla lost, perhaps she's looking for a bit of revenge right here.

[Jim Ross]
Now a table? I don't know if I like where this is going.

She sets the table up, unhinging it, then turns her attention to Beth, but she's not where she was! She quickly looks around, trying to figure out just where Beth has gone, but that's when she sees Beth in the ring, leaning the ladder against the ropes, Layla jumps up onto the apron to try to get Beth back where she wanted her, but Beth quickly kicks her in the gut as she stands on the apron, then hooks her from inside the ring, lifting her up with a suplex in mind, Layla tries to fight it, but she's caught, and she's soon carried in this position into the ring, still high in the air, Beth then bounces Layla's lower body off the other side of the top rope, then drops her right across the ladder with a brutal suplex! Luckily for Layla the ladder didn't snap in half, but the vile screams that follow give Beth a momentary second to flash a satisfied smile.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 N083SDR

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Did you hear that impact?

[Michael Cole]
You'd have to be deaf not to have!

Beth sees her opportunity and again locks in the boston crab to try and force Layla to quit.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 CfveD9D

Layla again screams out in agony and her knee which has been through an intense barrage of pain over the past couple of mins is torqued in an unnatural way. The referee again asks Layla if she quits. There is a silence for a few moments before she screams "NOOO!". Somehow, she musters all her strength in her arms and is able to pull herself to the ropes. She uses the ropes one by one to reach her feet and delivers an enzuiguri to the back of Beth's head! The Glamazon crumples to the canvas face first.

[Michael Cole]
Again Layla gets out of it! Her knee must be hanging on by a thread at this point!

Layla falls down to one knee and sits for a few moments to regain her composure. She favors her knee and rubs it, trying to get the blood flowing back there to get the strength back to stand and take out her rival once and for all.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 GIWuGML

Finally she grips the ropes, using them to aid her in standing. She looks at her surroundings while trying to ignore the pain she's feeling, notices Beth on the verge of rising up again, she just won't quit no matter what she does and it's annoying her so much she's not thinking as smart as she usually would, she just wants to hurt Beth, to make her say those two words, but nothing so far has come even close to being enough. She sees Beth staggering over towards where the ladder is still leaned, so she nails a quick spinning back kick, then runs over the opposing corner jumping off the bottom, then the middle rope for the springboard crossbody she's utilized many times before.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 OF8IEHP

But as she springs back, looking to perhaps send Beth onto the ladder out of revenge for that suplex minutes ago, Beth sidesteps out of the way and there's nothing Layla can do as she crashes stomach first onto the ladder!

[Jim Ross]
That ladder just does not like Layla!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
What the hell was she thinking? That had way more of a chance of going wrong than right!

[Michael Cole]
You've gotta be kidding me! Layla! Beth is just vicious, how dare she bring that ladder in the ring, ladders have no place in this match!

[Jim Ross]
Cole, Layla brought it into play, not Beth.

[Michael Cole]
She did not, Layla was simply moving it out of the way so she could get the table that's now outside the ring!

In a state of shock and pain Layla lies across the ladder, coughing, groaning and holding her stomach, but Beth isn't about to let her get a chance at recovering, no...She walks right over to Layla, picks her up, her stomach across her shoulder, and her arms locked around her waist! "Scream!" Beth hollers as Layla cries in pain from the pressure of this very well applied submission hold.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 DsXHxoz

[Jim Ross]
This could be it!

[Michael Cole]
This can't be it!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
It sure looks like it is...

"Quit Layla! Quit!" Beth yells in a demanding tone, the referee pulls the microphone out again, walks over to Layla and asks her..."Do you quit?" Layla responds just screaming out as Beth repeatedly jumps up and down making Layla's ribs meet her hard shoulder over and over again, intensifying the hold as if it wasn't painful enough. "I need an answer! Do you quit?" the referee exclaims, putting the microphone in front of Layla's mouth. "Get that out of my fa-!!!" but her reply is cut short as she's stopped in mid sentence because of the torture she's being put through.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
I can't see a way out for Layla here!

Ironically, as King says that Layla rakes the eyes of Beth Phoenix and ends up behind her. As Beth rubs her eyes, Layla grabs her from behind and drops her with a reverse implant DDT and instantly locks in a dragon sleeper!

[Michael Cole]
You were saying?

[Jim Ross]
Very nice maneuver by Layla there.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Look at the angle of Beth Phoenix's neck!

Beth's neck is being wrenched right back. Layla screams "Ask her ref! Ask her!". The official rushes over with a mic in hand. "Beth, do you quit?" to which Phoenix responds with a feeble no, as she is having the air choked out of her. She's able to lift her good leg and hit Layla smack in the face with a big knee shot. This dazes her enough to break the hold.

[Michael Cole]
And again there's another escape.

[Jim Ross]
One has to wonder what it will take to get one of these two feisty young women to utter the words I Quit...

Beth takes a few seconds to catch her breath before turning her attention to Layla who still hasn't recovered from the knee to her face. Beth drags her over to the corner and with a huge show of strength lifts her to the top rope.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 9pgTRQ9

Phoenix follows and stands on the second rope. She hooks Layla's arm and brings her crashing down to the canvas with a huge superplex!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Well, that's one way to wear down an opponent.

[Michael Cole]
Wear down? I'm surprised the two of them are still able to move after what they've been through thus far.

Both Phoenix and Layla have barely moved since the superplex. The fans begin a "This is awesome!" chant as the referee shakes his head in disbelief at what he has witnessed throughout this match.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 DZZjSKt

Both women lie sprawled out on the mat, this scene would've been far worse had their landed just a few inches further, as the ladder still remains where it's been. The referee isn't sure what to do, both are in no shape to stand right now, but this match can't end based off that, no...someone has to utter the words "I Quit" and right now they can't even move a muscle let alone speak. But there's not much else he can do so he kneels down, first going to Layla since she took the most from that superplex, then raises the microphone up to himself "Do you quit?" his hand then directs the mic at Layla, where she lies in silence. A few seconds pass, no answer still, he directs the mic back at himself then says "Do you wanna quit Beth?" before placing the microphone near Beth for a reply. But just as Layla didn't she too doesn't reply.

[Jim Ross]
I'm not sue what the referee is supposed to do at a time like this, both are clearly spent, they've given so much, there's nothing left .

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
I usually agree, but I think we're not even close to the end of this encounter, you've got two determined women laying in that ring, they'll both be up sooner or later, and when they are they'll do everything they can to make sure they don't end up back on that mat.

[Michael Cole]
I don't know why Beth is fighting it, Layla's clearly winning this.

[Jim Ross]
I don't think it's that simple, Cole. In fact I didn't expect a single thing that has happened in this match, so I think we need to throw out expectations out the window and expected the unexpected. There's still a table outside the ring, a ladder in there with them, and a whole arsenal of weapons underneath that ring, I'm not sure what will be used, but given the toughness of both women, we could see anything.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Never in my life have I seen such a brutal women's match, and we saw Mickie James and Layla meet in the first ever Hell in a Cell match to feature divas, but I don't even think that match will be the most brutal anymore, I think tonight we're not only witnessing history, but seeing a classic that'll be remembered for a very long time.

[Michael Cole]
Of course it will, it's yet another notch in Layla's storied and accomplished career, and Beth Phoenix's last match ever!

[Jim Ross]
That remains to be seen, Beth will no doubt be in bad shape when this match is all said and done, but so will Layla, I guarantee you they'll both still show up on Redemption in spite of that because they're that dedicated, and far too proud to stay at home and lick their wounds.

Layla's shown rolling over towards the ladder, she's still quite exhausted and suffering from that superplex, but perhaps that's why she's trying to make her way to the ladder, she's planning on using it to help her do what her body won't allow her physically do, and that's stand. Beth however seems to be having it easier, she's backed herself up against the ropes across from Layla, and has gripped the top rope with both hands trying to stand up. Cheers of support for both Layla and Beth follow, despite everything they've gone through, their will to win makes the fans show even more respect than they already had been.

[Jim Ross]
I can't believe it, they're both up!

[Michael Cole]
Now the true test will begin, who has the most left in them to cease this opportunity to gain control?

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
After everything we've seen in this match? I honestly can say I have no idea.

Layla's leaned against the ladder, barely standing on her own, in noticeable discomfort, but still powering through to the best of her ability. Beth's a bit better off and is standing on her own after using the ropes to do so. She takes a quick breather to catch her breath, then seeing Layla in the position she's in, she comes up with a plan. She comes barreling in at her, Layla turns her head, sees her coming, quickly backs out of the way just in time, Beth jumps up to avoid making impact with the ladder, landing on the apron, avoiding that potentially terrible outcome.

[Jim Ross]
That could've been bowling shoe ugly, but again the awareness from Beth Phoenix saves her just in time.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
But while she's safe from that incident, she's on the apron, the ladder is right there, and there's a table not far from her, it's not the best place to be.

[Michael Cole]
Quiet, she'll hear you!

Before Beth can come up with a plan B, Layla looks to make the most of Beth's predicament by hobbling over to her to strike her, but Beth catches her forearm attempt, nails a few right hands sending her back for a moment, attempts to grab the ladder from the apron, pulling it up near her while raising it up now resting halfway on the middle rope. Layla comes charging back at her, but Beth is ready! She pushes the ladder forward, hoping to catch Layla with it, but Layla instead jumps up off the mat, evading possibly her third meeting with that ladder and lands right on the raised up side ricocheting Beth's side up and it flies straight into her nose dropping her off the apron instantly!

[Jim Ross]
Bah gawd! The ladder just sucker punched Beth!

[Michael Cole]
Attah girl Layla! Give her a makeover she won't forget!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Now that's the actions of a true thinker, Beth was focused solely on hurting Layla that she didn't think of protecting herself if it went wrong.

Beth's face slowly turns red as blood seeps from her face courtesy of the ladder.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Beth's bleeding!

[Michael Cole]
Well this is surprising! When was the last time you saw blood in a divas matchup?

[Jim Ross]
It's very rare to see the lovely ladies of XWL don the infamous crimson mask. As shocking as this is, I think we should have probably predicted this would happen given the hatred between these two young women.

The blood appears to leave Beth shellshocked for a moment and she stands there like a deer caught in the headlights. She finally shakes it off and slides back into the ring. She holds her bleeding nose and her forehead as she holds up her arms to continue the fight.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 OGORc3F

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Look at Beth! What a fighter!

[Jim Ross]
A little bit of blood won't keep The Glamazon down King. She's as tough as they come.

Layla is shocked that Beth recovered so quickly. She tries to hit her with a big right hand, but Beth catches it and shakes her head. Phoenix twists Layla's arm around into an armlock and screams "QUIT LAYLA! Give up already!"

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 HQIJO6F

Layla shouts "No!" and delivers a kick to Beth's midsection. She runs into the ropes and on the rebound delivers a neckbreaker to Beth, leaving her down on the mat.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Nice counter by Layla there...

Layla notices that Beth is bleeding and rubs her eyes like she's crying, mocking her. "Boohoo! Beth got a boo-boo!" she proclaims over her dazed rival.

[Jim Ross]
I think Layla is wasting time here. She should be capitalizing on this situation while she can.

[Michael Cole]
Wasting time? This is entertaining JR! Layla has this one in the bag!

[Jim Ross]
I wouldn't say that. This one has been as even as they come. Despite Beth's state, I think she still has a lot left in her.

Once Layla's done poking fun at her opponent, she get back down to business dropping down and exiting the ring, she turns her focus back to the table she pulled out just a bit ago, then starts to move it around, looking at the closest corner post for an idea of what she wants to do. Once it's placed to her liking, she dusts it off with a quick glide and a smirk on her face, she steps up onto the apron to enter the ring, but Beth comes charging at her preventing her from doing so, locks her in a headlock then yells "Last chance!" "You better quit now little girl!" the referee tries to position the microphone near Layla but her screams are so loud a microphone isn't even needed at this point, she lets out a loud, but shrieking "No!" which prompts Beth to slowly drag her over towards the corner Layla was eyeing earlier, while still on the apron and Beth in the ring.

[Jim Ross]
This isn't gonna be good..

[Michael Cole]
Someone has to do something!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
I don't think there's anything anyone can do to stop Beth at this point.

Beth pulls Layla all the way to the corner, then uses her unmatched strength to lift her feet right off the apron and places her on the top rope! Layla tries to fight it but her attempted forearm shots are all no use, she might be connecting but Beth's a woman on a mission and she's not going to let anything stop her...

[Michael Cole]
She can't be....she's....she's going to do what she did to Layla at X-treme X-mas! Someone stop her! She's trying to end her career!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
I'm pretty sure that's the point, Cole. These two women do not like each other, and we're about to see just how far that hatred goes.

[Jim Ross]
Beth's climbing the corner, this match is about to be over!

Slowly she climbs, she's very fatigued, but she knows this will win her the match just as it did back in December....she throws Layla's arm over her shoulder, but refusing to quit Layla drills her knee brace covered knee straight into Beth's busted and bloody nose buying her some time as Beth staggers back just for a moment, holding her wounds of war. Layla tries to reposition herself, but her knee is far too weak to go as quickly as she needs to and she nearly loses her foot, landing both feet on the second rope as she sits a top of the third. Layla almost out a breath screams "Tell her to quit!" the referee tries to ask Beth if she wants to quit but he's shoved aside by the angry Glamazon who comes charging straight for Layla, but the Brit isn't about to give up now, she does the only thing she can at this point and that's connect with one hell of a roundhouse kick on Beth just as she was about to get her!

[Jim Ross]
Good god almighty I heard that all the way over here!

[Michael Cole]
Layla does it! Layla hits the Bombshell, it's all over now!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
It's not over until one of them quits, Cole.

Before Beth can fall back Layla quickly hooks hold of her head and begins to pull her in closer, she starts to stand up on the top rope, attempting to lift Beth up with her, but she's dead weight right now, completely knocked out so it's a struggle to even pull her up onto the bottom rope. But once she does she by some miracle Beth snaps out of it and drills her fist right into Layla's stomach, Layla sways back but grabs the top rope with her hand, losing her hold of Beth in the process just to prevent falling. Beth then starts to hook Layla for what looks to be another superplex, but this time she's not aiming for the ring, but for what's outside the ring perfectly placed all because of Layla...She tries to maneuver herself around, though she's still a bit loopy, and Layla takes advantage of that by shoving Beth off of her then connecting with another skull rattling Bombshell!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Another one!

[Jim Ross]
I think the entire arena heard that one!

Layla acting fast steps out onto the apron remaining on the second rope, Beth's on the second rope too and so with one last lift Beth's dragged up onto the top rope, and the fans watch in horror as Layla gets her well desired payback by throwing herself and Beth to the floor and through the table with a crowd pleasing super superplex! Immediately an incredibly loud "Holy shit!" starts up as every fan stands on their feet amazed at what they just saw. Both women lie on the table remains, not moving a single inch, the loud chanting continues now turning into a"That was awesome!" chant.

[Jim Ross]
BAH GAWD! With God as my witness they are broken in half!

[Michael Cole]
Oh my!

Both women are motionless. The crowd begins a duelling chant of "This is awesome!" and "Holy shit!".

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
I have to agree with the fans! This IS awesome!

The referee checks on both women, who still have yet to move a muscle.

[Jim Ross]
This one could be over folks.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
What a shame this would be if after everything these women have put each other through, that there would be no winner.

After what seems like an age, both Beth and Layla begin to move ever so slightly, almost at the same time...

[Michael Cole]
Look at this!

[Jim Ross]
How they are still able to continue is beyond me.

Beth rises to her feet first, followed closely by Layla. Both women stagger a little as they show the toll the match has had on them. Layla charges at Beth going for a clothesline, but Beth ducks it, Layla spins around after missing it and Beth grabs her and hits the Down In Flames on the outside.

[Jim Ross]
What a maneuver!

Beth wastes little time and walks around to Layla's legs. She locks in a leg lock very similar to the one Layla used to defeat her at Uprising! As Layla screams away in pain, Beth calls the referee over and demands that he questions Layla. Beth's eyes are wild as she applies torque to the hold. She looks maniacal with the blood spattered on her face.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Shades of Uprising here! This is the same hold Layla used to claim victory over Beth in their submission match!

[Jim Ross
How ironic would it be if the same hold earned Beth the victory right here?

The ref kneels down and questions Layla who is wailing away. She screams "No!" despite being in a tremendous amount of pain. Beth keeps the hold locked in for some time, until Layla, with her free leg is able to kick her in the side several times, winding The Glamazon and forcing her to break the hold.

[Michael Cole]
That's the true heart of a champion ladies and gentlemen, Layla survives!

Holding her knee in agony, it's taken so much punishment the entire match that it's unbelievable to see Layla continuing on and fighting through the injury. She backs away from Beth until she's backed against the barricade, then places both arms behind her gripping onto the top of the barricade to help her stand. It takes her a few tries but she finally starts to rise, but so does Beth. Once she's up barely standing against the barricade Beth grabs her by the back of her hair and tights, starts to pull her away.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 W7tkA5v

But Layla gives it one last fight striking her with a low kick to the knee that she targeted at Uprising to make her submit before, and perhaps she's looking to make lightning strike twice because she connects with a second kick. Beth stumbles back holding her knee, losing her grip of Layla, the two share a quick stare at one another as they deal with their own aches and pains inflicted by the other....they know this match is nearing it's end, they don't have much left to give or much more they can take, Beth powers her way back to her feet, attempts to throw Layla head first into the ring post, but Layla shifts her in mid movement, sending Beth smack dab into the ring post! Her already mangled nose bounces right off of it dropping her down to one knee again, as the blood trickles down the floor.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
I would not wanna be Beth right now, her nose is absolutely without a doubt broken after the punishment it's endured this match.

[Michael Cole]
That's not all that's gonna be broken, she's about to have her spirits broken to go with that! End it, Layla! Now's your chance!

[Jim Ross
I must say things don't look good for Beth...it's been fairly even the entire match much to my surprise, but she might have to quit for her career's sake.

[Michael Cole]
What career?!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
That's not nice, Cole....I think they've both proven, that no matter who wins or loses tonight, they're both incredible women that have nothing to be ashamed of after the match they've delivered tonight at the fifth anniversary of Final Stand.

Layla remains still for a moment, holding her knee with both hands, it's all she can do to even stand let alone move. She tries to shake it off but just makes it worse, wincing for a moment and giving the camera a look of sheer agony. But she won't quit now, she's got Beth exactly where she wants her...she screams "Get ready!" at the referee who readies himself upon command. Layla then takes one last second to grip her knee, trying to tighten the brace but it can't get much tighter so she starts to scream out, not a painful one but a battle cry! She comes charging at the slumped and surely unconscious Beth, then throws her leg up for a third and final round house kick! But things don't go as she planned because Beth throws herself back away from the post and Layla's knee comes in straight contact with the steel ring post!

[Jim Ross
She took too long and she paid for it!

[Michael Cole]
No!!!

Layla's screams mimic a horror movie as she collapses to the floor crying out in perhaps the most pain she's ever been in. Beth acts fast grabbing her knee, Layla's helpeless and hopeless as Beth clutches her knee tightly raising her leg up against the post before applying more pressure than she can take at this point. "Please! No!!!" she screams out pleading for mercy.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 EYyHhEn

[Jim Ross]
Beth's ripping her knee apart!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
She's gone mad and these fans are loving it!

The referee takes position at Layla, kneeling down at her with the microphone "Do you quit?" she's quick to scream "No!" before continuing with Please stop her!" crying more and more "Please!" her voice becoming more mumbled as the pressure is applied continually. "Quit!" Beth screams down at her, Layla returns her orders with a "Never!" which makes Beth begin to rip at Layla's brace, then pulls back on it tighter, until Layla screams as loud as she can, "I..." the fans are on their feet, is this it? Is she about to quit? "Please!!!!" she begs Beth again, but she's not here to show any compassion towards Layla, she tried to take her out last month and now it's payback time. Layla starts to claw at Beth's leg, doing anything she can to not say those words....but after one last bit of pressure Layla screams in a sobbing tone "I Quit!"

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
She quit!

[Michael Cole]
What? No! I can't believe this!

Beth lets go of the hold, which causes Layla to land head first onto the floor. She breaks into a relieved grin, proud of her victory after going through hell and back to pick up the win. The fans are going crazy at this point and start up their "That was awesome!" chant again, in respect of not only Beth's but also Layla's best efforts. This matchup was a potential show-stealer and surpassed their highest expectations.

[Justin Roberts]
The winner of this match... BETH PHOENIX!

Beth enters the ring and is showered with adoration from the fans. She lets out a few emotional tears, overcome by the emotion. Her bloodied face wrecked with fatigue, she allows the referee to raise her arm in victory. In stark contrast, her rival Layla is sat outside the ring, sat in a ball, crying to herself in complete sorrow.

[Jim Ross]
Say what you will about either woman, they both gave it their all and that much more here tonight. This was a matchup worthy of an occasion like Final Stand.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Their hatred for one another definitely shone through in this one and we reaped the awards as viewers to the culmination of their long and storied rivalry. Both women put everything on the line tonight and despite Beth walking out the winner, this match and the spectacle they allowed us to witness can only mean good things for both their careers.

[Michael Cole]
Layla didn't deserve to lose this match...

[Jim Ross]
Neither did Beth Phoenix, Cole. This was a classic. It could have gone either way, and as King said, both women should see the benefit of competing in such an epic match. They may hate each other, but after pushing each other to their limits, I'm sure deep down there has to be some kind of respect there.

Beth's celebration continues and she throws her hands above her head while perched on the second rope before we fade away to a video package hyping XWL's new PPV next month, Dead Man's Hand. A roulette wheel is shown in the video spinning around perhaps giving us an idea of what this event may have in store for those that will be competing.

Kaitlyn ftw, Brie Bella still hates you.
And that write up was even more awesome than the match I sat in for and that was a pretty great match. Poor Layla can't catch a break.

*Final Stand V returns from a video package highlighting the events leading up to the Hell in a Cell match between Shawn Michaels and Ted DiBiase, before going backstage where one half of the Motor City Machine Guns, as well as one half of the Ersatz Tag Team Champions, Chris Sabin. Sabin is in rare form tonight, usually he's with his tag team partner in Alex Shelley, and where one is, the other is not far behind, but this doesn't seem to be the case right now. Sabin is shown leaning forward in his seat, looking down at the floor, with a serious expression on his face. He takes a moment to gather his thoughts before looking up towards the camera and begins to speak.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 AkJVT

{Chris Sabin}
It's been a while since I've “gone solo” on one of these interviews. Last time it was just me doing the talking, I was getting ready to take on a man I had some history with, Antonio Cesaro. I went on to defeat him later on in that night, but this time, it isn't about him. This time it's about two men who call themselves “Wolves.”

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 XCt5G

{Chris Sabin}
Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, tonight isn't about fun and games for The Motor City Machine Guns, far from it. Tonight isn't even about the Ersatz Tag Team Championships, it's not even about superiority. It's about something much bigger than that, revenge. Revenge for what you did to us many weeks ago when you attacked us from behind after Men of Honor had already left us laid out in the ring.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 QG0h9

{Chris Sabin}
We thought that our prayers had been answered and that we had another team to do battle with, but boy, were we wrong. Not even five minutes after “saving” us from Men of Honor, you attacked us when we had our backs turned and left us for dead. You wanted to make a statement, we get that, but when you tried to take us out, things got personal real fast.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 NKFFG

{Chris Sabin}
For the weeks leading up to Final Stand, we made jokes at your expense, we went “hunting for wolves” with Stone Cold ET as an attempt to get under your fur. Then you ended up attacking Hulk Hogan and for what? He did nothing to you, Wolves. Good thing we showed up when we did or things would have gotten real bad for The Hulkster. Not as bad as what happened to him earlier tonight at the hands of Kevin Steen but still fairly bad nonetheless.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 LKmIZ

{Chris Sabin}
Then we go to a live event where we knew you would be at, American Wolves, and we call you out. We waited and waited but you didn't answer the challenge we laid out. As I've said on Motor City Diaries earlier in the week, we went to Hulk Hogan and the match was made for tonight. And still, not a single word has left your mouth since then. I heard that wolves don't know the meaning of fear, then again, maybe you're not wolves like you expected everybody to believe.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 17sLz

{Chris Sabin}
While Alex is preparing himself for the match of his career, I have already prepared for the biggest war in my life. I knew that since you attacked us, we would have a battle on the grandest stage of them all, so I prepared. I didn't have the heart to tell Alex that you weren't just messing with us, that you really wanted to end our careers. Now he knows, and he won't stop, we won't stop until we have your pelts on our mantle, sitting near our Xbox.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 YZE4p

{Chris Sabin}
Wolves, we just wanted to play a few games, have a bit of fun, but you escalated this battle way more than it needed to be, you took it to another level. And for that, you won't be walking out of Final Stand with your heads held high after a triumphant victory, you will be gunned down like the animals you truly are!

*Sabin removes the small microphone attached to the collar of his shirt before forcefully tossing it aside and rising from his seat, walking out of view of the camera. His footsteps are heard slowly fading as a door is heard opening and closing behind him. The camera remains on the now empty seat before fading to a hype video for XWL's next Pay-Per-View, Dead Man's Hand.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 VM4IzlL

The arena explodes with excitement as Ted DiBiase's theme blares through the massive Georgia Dome. Tonight's the night, after seven months since his firing, this is the night everything has been leading up to, he's been screwed so much a long the way that there isn't a single person in this sold out arena that doesn't want him to come out on top tonight. He's been put through as much hell as a person can be put through, and now, he'll be stepping inside hell itself to put an end to it all, but the million dollar question on everyone's minds, will this finally be the end? Will Ted DiBiase be reinstated when the night's over? Moments pass since DiBiase's theme first hit, and he soon bursts out from behind the curtain, as fired up as he could possibly be, whether it's the overwhelming reaction he's receiving from the XWL Universe, or he's just that pumped up to be moments away from the match he's been after since this all began, you can tell Ted's ready, he's focused, and he's going to give t all he's got when that cell door is slammed shut, and he's trapped in that cage with the man that's made his life hell for far too long.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 VmqcanS

{JR}
There he is ladies and gentlemen, the man that was fired seven months ago back at Supremacy, and now could very well rectify all of that in this one match.

{Michael Cole}
OR, he could prove Vickie made the right decision by once again disappointing everyone and failing on the big stage for the second year in a row!

{King}
I don't get it, Cole....why do you hate Ted so much? If there's ever been a more commendable man to ever step foot in this company I'd like to see them because Ted's always here for the right reasons, he gives it his best shot no matter what's a stake in his matches, and the fans certainly love him.

Ted's long walk down the ramp begins and we pull away from the stage showing the large mass of fans with their signs held high in the air, and their screams echoing throughout the building. All while Ted's shown in the far back heading closer and closer to the ring.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 AgfAgKL

{JR}
We already saw another man's attempt at regaining his job come up successful earlier in the night when Kevin Steen defeated Hulk Hogan so you have to wonder if the same will be said of Ted.

{Michael Cole}
Hogan failed his brand, Vickie won't! Shawn's the best representative she could ask for, and when he beats Ted, which he will, he's going to go on to become the greatest World Heavyweight Champion this company has ever seen!

{King}
I'm not so sure about that, but one thing I am sure of is that Ted's earned tonight's match as far as I'm concerned. When he gave Vickie an ultimatum, give him the match or be sued, she didn't know what to do! Ted used the very thing that kick started his firing against them, and now because of it could take this all full circle and win his job back.

Ted nears the end of the ramp, the Cell not far from him, and the look on his face now changes, he realizes this could be the last time he steps into that ring, he's going to do everything he can to see to it that he leaves this arena once again an XWL superstar, but there's always that little bit of doubt in your mind that makes you wonder what if? And Ted's got that in his head right now as he stares around, preparing himself to step inside Hell after going through nothing but hell this entire time.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 D2iuydd

{Michael Cole}
Threatening the poor woman like he did was earning it? He hasn't earned a damn thing! He might have went the cowards way by bringing up this legal nonsense but it'll all be for nothing when he loses the match that's mattered the most to him, on the grandest stage of them all! He'll be able to tell little Tate and whatever losers he'll spawn with with that wife of his that when daddy had the biggest match of his career, the match that would turn things all around for him, he did what DiBiase's do, and that's fail! Shawn had it all right this past week, and that's exactly what's going to happen.

{JR}
It's not right to talk about a man's family like that, Cole. I found that very distasteful when Shawn brought up Ted's little boy this past week, he's just a baby, he has nothing to do with any of this, but he just wanted to get at Ted, and he's lucky Ted didn't tear his head off right then.

After gazing at the structure for a while, Ted finally steps forward stepping inside of it, then slides into the ring, and begins to wait for his opponent. As Ted DiBiase's theme slowly fades out, he remains standing in the middle of the ring surrounded of tons of steel for a few seconds as he awaits the arrival of his opponent Shawn Michaels. The man who he HAS to beat tonight to get his job back as an XWL Superstar

{JR}
This right now is this young man's last shot, and just just know he must be feeling all the pressure in the world right now on him. If there ever was a must win situation in this business this is it. And he knows the man he's going up against tonight, behind all the personal turmoil that it's going to be no easy task.

{Michael Cole}
No, it's an impossible task, that ingrate is going to be going up against The Showstopper! He's going up against Shawn Michaels, how could Ted DiBiase ever hope to match Shawn? He can't, the doesn't stand a chance, just like every other time he'd faced him, the only thing that changes is now DiBiase gets to embrace himself on the biggest stage in this industry.

{King}
Just cool your jets Cole, the last time these two met at Uprising it was DiBiase who won the match and if you ask me there's nothing to say that he won't be again tonight.

Then as a few seconds go by the Heartbreak Kids theme starts to play through out the Atlanta Dome which is met by a loud chorus of boos from the 70,000 plus crowd[/b]

As Shawn's music plays the titantron is light up in an impressive display showing his entrance video and the world still kept in wait for the Showstopper to come from behind the curtain

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Y4ra643

As Michaels walks out onto the stage, the boos from the crowd start to grow in volume, unfazing the in ring veteran, who knew full well the reception that he'd be receiving tonight and HBK starts to make the ever so long walk down the ramp towards the Cell and Ted DiBiase

{Michael Cole}
Well I think this man would object that that King, here he is the man himself, Shawn Michaels! Who else could ever live up to the reputation of his, there will only ever be one, the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. Tonight will be his night, it's matches like this that he relishes and he excels at, when he's in the zone there is no stopping Shawn Michaels.

{JR}
But he's going up against a former XWL World champion, if anybody can beat Michaels, it's DiBiase, he's done it before like King just mentioned, he beat his old nemesis The Rock two weeks ago and now he's looking to beat his current one and get his job back. That's Ted's extra incentive, Michaels doesn't have that, he's got nothing on the line, and Ted has everything.

{Michael Cole}
Oh please, like that will help DiBiase in any way, he's a loser just like Shawn's been saying, it's when he's had everything on the line when Ted's failed most spectacularly and tonight won't be any different, mark my words.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 DnzyPti

As Shawn reaches about half way down the ramp, he glances out into the capacity crowd then turns his attention to the DiBiase in the ring waiting for him, as Shawn removes he jacket throwing it on the floor

{King}
But this is different, this isn't last year, this is a new Ted DiBiase now, a more focused, more driven Ted, there's no way that he'll let his past short comings haunt him again tonight.

{Michael Cole}
We'll have have to see about that, but the way I see it you're just selling Michaels short, you talk about DiBiase needing this as if Michaels is a push over. He's the Superstar of the Year, you don't become that by phoning it in, you just know he's here tonight to prove a point, and rid XWL of DiBiase once and for all!

Michaels reaches the bottom of the ramp, and we cut over to Ted DiBiase who is standing inside the cell, impatiently stirring, ready to get this fight underway, he's waited a very long time for this night to come, and now that it has he's not about to let anything delay this match one second further. Shawn takes a moment to trash talk some die hard Ted fans in the front row, decked out in his old XWL shop.com exclusive shirts, and a banner hanging down the barricade that says "Hell Hath No Fury Like A DiBiase" he laughs as he reads the sign, then gives them a "you've gotta be kidding me" look before ripping the sign off the railing and tearing it up right in front of them!

{JR}
Oh come on now, that's not right!

{Michael Cole}
That's why he's tearing it apart, it most certainly isn't right!

{King}
That's not what he meant, Cole.

Raring for a fight DiBiase has had enough, he shoves the referee out of the way without a regard for his well being and charges out of the ring, straight through the open cell door and as Shawn's standing there still taking satisfaction in what he's just done, the cheers get louder, catching him off guard, he starts to turn around to see what the hell is going on that's gotten them so suddenly excited, and almost instantly he's tackled against the barricade in front of the fans Shawn took pleasure in picking on! Ted begins to repeatedly thrust his knee into Michael's ribs, all while firing away with a flying fury of right hands!

{Michael Cole}
Hey! Get that animal off him, this match hasn't even started yet!

{King}
Does it really matter? They're here to beat the living hell out of each other not allow any rules! This is is a long time coming for Ted DiBiase, he's been screwed so much that's emotionally and mentally unstable, this isn't the first time we've seen Ted snap at an instant.

{JR}
Good lord he's beating the tar out of him!

Enjoying this far too much Ted refuses to let up for even a single second! The referees try to intervene, to get these two to enter the cell so the bell can officially sound, but once they try to place their hands on Ted, they're met by a look that makes them back up straight away. They're not about to make him turn his assault on them for trying to intervene so they leave well enough alone. Michaels manages to duck a punch finally, making Ted nearly knock one of his fans out, but he's able to stop himself just he was about to connect with one of the members of his DiBiase Posse. This moment was just what Shawn needed as Ted's instantly distracted, allowing Shawn to grab him and throw him into the opposing barricade, then begins to repeatedly punt him in the ribs, sending him rolling with each time that he does. He backs up then yells for him to get up, he calls him a punk, a loser, everything to get under his skin to lure him up to his feet, once Ted charges at Shawn, Shawn side steps out of the way, and DiBiase runs straight into the cell door! His face bounces off the cage, almost knocking him down, but he manages to remain standing, that is until Shawn swings the door straight into his skull, dropping him to the ground!

{JR}
That's just one of the way this cell can be used as a weapon tonight, Shawn Michaels was in the very first Hell in a Cell match back in 1997 so he knows his way around this Cell perhaps more than any other man in this company.

{Michael Cole}
Do it again, Shawn! Make that no good loser pay! This is just what DiBiase gets, he had to go cheap shot Shawn because he knows he couldn't win in a fair fight, and look where it's gotten him, he's on the floor, and he should stay there if he knows what's good for him!

{King}
I think you're not giving Ted enough credit, oh sure Shawn might be the one standing now, but we've seen just how tenacious Ted DiBiase can be, and I know for a fact this match is going to be perhaps the most hard hitting one of the night!

Shawn tell the fans to shut the hell up, which only makes them boo that much more, he grabs Ted by his hair slowly pulling him, then goes to ram his face into the cage wall, but Ted throws his hands in front of him pushing against the cell to prevent Michaels from doing so, then with a swift back elbow to the chest Ted breaks free of his grasp and does exactly what Shawn intended to do and that's bash his skull off the Cell wall, then he doesn't stop there, he does it again, and again, and again! With each time that he does the cheers get louder and louder, he finally lets go of Shawn who drops down to his knees, falling against the cell, barely able to hold himself up. Ted looks around the area, high fives a fan then shouts "I'm just getting started!" Ted goes to pull Shawn up, but Shawn grabs hold of the waist band of his trunks and pulls him head first into wall of the Cell! Ted holds his head in pain, Shawn then rises to his feet, looks to follow up on what he's managed to do, but Ted's far from cooperative and shoves him back with a hard push, then swings for a clothesline, but Shawn ducks under his arm and runs into the structure known as Hell in a Cell for the first time tonight, perhaps he wants to get Ted in a more enclosed environment, or maybe he's trying to run away before Ted gets his hands on him again. We're not sure what the reason is but Ted follows not far behind, but he's not running like Shawn, no he's grabbed hold of the Cell door and is pulling it behind him until he enters the Cell fully and slams it shut with the most sickening smile we've ever seen on his face. He told Shawn he was going to trap him inside his own personal Hell tonight, and this was his way of symbolically doing so.

With DiBiase standing in the way of the door, as an official outside locks it with a chain and padlock, Ted DiBiase turns his attention to Michaels in the ring as he runs towards the ropes sliding underneath them hitting Ted with a Baseball Slide and Ted hits the cage walks back first then as he gets get to his feet, Michaels dives over the top rope lands on Ted with a Plancha as both men crumple to the padding outside with Michaels laying on top of DiBiase

{Michael Cole}
What a move by Michaels, he's quickly put an end to DiBiase's early dominance from that cheap shot by Ted before the match even started! This is the beginning of the end for Ted DiBiase.

{JR}
It's still very early in the match, Cole. Anything could happen still and I don't believe for a second that this contest will be all Michaels, not for a second.

{Michael Cole}
Oh please, you don't even know who Ted's dealing with, he's going up against THE MAN! And it's on his night, there's no stopping Shawn Michaels tonight!

Michaels gets to his feet and pulls DiBiase up to his grabbing his arm and attempting to whip Ted, but DiBiase counters the throw and whips Michaels into the Steel Steps knees first forcing Shawn to flip over them, landing on the ground the opposite side. Wasting little time DiBiase grabs Shawn by the head and starts to grate Michaels head across the Cell walls, right and left in small swift movements trying to get as much blood to Michaels forehead as possible but before he get cut Michaels open he throws Shawn hard back first into the ring apron before whipping him head first into the cage, then in a quick fire attack Ted starts to whip Shawn back and forth into the ring apron and cell wall.

{JR}
Well Ted's whipping Shawn like a government mule right now, DiBiase isn't letting up tonight and he can't afford to either, he knows tonight is a must win match for him, it's now or never for him.

{King}
He's giving Shawn every single bit of what he deserves, this is for the last four months of hell Michaels has put him through.

{Michael Cole}
Ted better enjoy his little spell of dominance while he can because it won't last for much longer.

As Ted throws Michaels into the ring apron one more time, HBK drops down to the floor, but giving him no time to rest DiBiase grabs Shawn by the head and rolls him into the ring, following shortly after him, and he starts to deliver Standing Fist Drops to Michaels head in the shades of his father Ted Senior. As One Fist Drop begets a second, then a third Ted stops before he can land a forth and walks over to the turnbuckle climbing up it backwards onto the second rope. Ted takes a moment to compose himself then jumps off aiming for Michaels, but as he's in mid-air Shawn raises his boot which connects solely to Ted's chin, staggering him, which gives Shawn enough time to get to his feet, then grabbing Ted's arm and pulling him to the mat, trapping his arm between Shawn's leg and applying a Crossface to DiBiase.

{Michael Cole}
What a maneuver by Michaels! He's trying to get the Crossface locked tight, if he manages to get this locked in it could be over.

{King}
DiBiase took his eye off the ball for a second and Michaels is planning on taking advantage of it.

After a few seconds Ted manages to roll out of the submission before Michaels can lock in the hold, but as he turns around he's met with a stiff Knife Edged chop to the chest by Shawn, following with another chop and a chop turning his chest slightly redder and redder with each hit, then Michaels lifts Ted off his feet and plants hi with a Reverse Atomic Drop then directly following up by pushing Ted backwards into the ropes and whipping him across the ring. But once again Ted counters the whip, and instead whips Shawn into the ropes instead and as Michaels rebounds DiBiase ducts down throwing Shawn over his shoulders with a HUGE Back Body Drop forcing Michaels to hit his back on the mat hard and quickly bouncing back onto his feet holding his lower back, clearly feeling the effects of the early focused attack and retreats over to a turnbuckle but with Ted on edge he quickly follows Shawn, not giving him a moment to recoup and starts to hit Shawn with a few chops of his own then whipping Shawn hard into the opposite turnbuckle, but instead of hitting it, Shawn flips over the turnbuckle and crashes to the outside of the ring!

{JR}
Ted's got Michaels reeling right now, Shawn's barely been in this match from the get go, it's been almost entirely all DiBiase from the very start.

{Michael Cole}
Well it's not fair! DiBiase attacked Shawn before the match even started, how can you expect someone to get into second gear when he's jumped when he's not expecting it! This is a disgrace!

With Shawn on the outside of the ring, Ted rolls out underneath the bottom rope and starts to realign the Steel Steps, setting them up as a make shift ramp pointing right at the Steel Cell walls running along the ring. Content with how he's set up the steps and walks over to Shawn and pulls him up by his head dragging him up the steps to the very top and letting him go for a brief second before grabbing Shawn by the waist, setting him up with his legs between his legs, for what looks like it could be a Powerbomb and tries to lift Shawn, but Michaels starts kicking, blocking to attempted move, then flipping DiBiase over his head off the steps onto the thin padding on the floor. Then Shawn walks down the steps and a few paces away before turning around and waiting for DiBiase to get to his feet, then Shawn takes a run up going up the Steps and diving off the top of the steps spreading his body out wide hitting DiBiase with a Diving Clothesline sending him crashing to the padding outside!

{Michael Cole}
What a move by Michaels! How innovative is he! This could be the opening he needed, he just needs to keep on top of DiBiase while he can!

{JR}
But that might be easier said than done, we know what kind of man Ted DiBiase is, and he won't stay down for long.

Shawn makes it back to his feet, using the cell to his advantage, and begins to showboat to the crowd, drawing the ire of the live audience in attendance. He tells them to “suck it” with a signature DX chop before shifting his focus back to Ted, who is still laid out on the padding. Shawn walks back over to a downed Ted DiBiase and begins to trash talk for a moment, while hitting him with the occasional slap across his exposed face. He then picks Ted up off the floor but before he can do what he had in mind, Ted breaks Shawn's grip, landing a series of fists, causing Shawn to stumble backwards. Ted grabs Shawn and using all his might, sends him flying into the unforgiving steel. With Ted now gaining a second wind, will it be enough to put away The Showstopper on the grandest stage of them all? Or does The Heart Break Kid still have a few tricks up his sleeve?

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 FERJKVK

{King}
That's why you can't ever count out Ted DiBiase, he'll take everything you've got to give then still find a way to spin things back his way.

{Michael Cole}
Like it matters, he won't beat Shawn, he always chokes when it matters remember?

{JR}
I don't think that's true, maybe in the past, but Ted's grown a great deal as a man and a wrestler since then and he's definitely a changed man.

Ted stares down at the man that's done nothing but make his life a living hell for his own sick amusement for the last four months, but now it's his turn to return the favor and he's more than happy to give Shawn exactly what he's got coming to him. Shawn lies on the floor momentarily dazed by his skull bouncing off the cell wall, but he doesn't get much of a chance to because Ted quickly follows up by picking Shawn off the floor, throwing his upper body across his shoulder and begins to charge right for the ring post!

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 VyXQJDL

{King}
Talk about using your surroundings to your advantage, that's one way to deal some serious damage.

{JR}
Serious indeed, those posts are designed to be very sturdy to prevent the ring from collapsing but with that they become quite the effective weapon.

{Michael Cole}
It should be illegal to do this, those posts aren't there to be used as a tag-team partner!

{King}
Cole, it's a Hell in a Cell match, there's nothing that can't be used as a weapon in this match!

{JR}
That's why they call it Hell, because it's not only a battle against your opponent, but a battle against your very surroundings.

Shawn's back meets the post in ways it was never meant to met, he lets out a loud cry in pain, but Ted's not done yet, he backs up, still keeping his grip over Shawn then proceeds to ram into the post yet again, getting the exact same reaction from Michaels but it's not enough to satisfy the pain desiring hunger that DiBiase has and so he backs up, still keeping Shawn well in his grasp, then thrusts Shawn's spine into the post a third and final time!

{JR}
That's as ugly as it gets, Ted's letting Michaels have it and there's nothing he can do about it.

{Michael Cole}
Nothing? He's the Heartbreak kid, there's nothing Shawn Michaels can't do, just watch! Ted will be down for the count in no time.

{King}
Right now it looks like Ted's got him exactly where he wants him, Shawn's gotta turn things back around in his favor soon or this match could be over just as quick as it's begun.

Shawn thought the worst was over, but Ted's not let go of him just yet, and that's because he's not finished! Ted makes a quick 180 and with a sudden build of speed drives Michael's back into the unforgiving steel that is Hell in a Cell!

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 CU9ca1d

The fans are going wild at this aggressive side of Ted DiBiase, he doesn't give a damn about Shawn's wellbeing in this match, Shawn's shown nothing but unexplained hatred for Ted since this all began and now Ted's showing him the feel is all too mutual with how brutal he's being towards him tonight. Shawn falls against the cell, slumped against it, barely on his feet, and Ted's still not finished! He backs away slowly, staring right at Shawn in his almost empty eyes, he's gotten the wind knocked out of him and because Ted won't let up he can't seem to fight back into things. DiBiase measures Shawn, stalking him, laying and waiting until the right time, then as it appears that time has arrived Ted comes running straight at him leaping off the floor, thrusting his knee out for his signature Busaiku knee, but just before impact, Shawn jumps out of the way and Ted's knee rebounds off the steel sending him flying back with one hell of a thud.

{JR}
Good god almighty DiBiase flew back like a fly that's just been swatted away!

{Michael Cole}
That's what he gets for messing with a man like Shawn Michaels!

{King}
Uh oh, DiBiase's grabbing at his knee, we saw one severe knee injury earlier tonight, it looks like we might see another.

{JR}
If Shawn's ever had a more opportune time to gain control of this match it would be now, Ted's shaken up from that shoot and miss and he's ripe for the picking.

DiBase's lying on the floor clutching his knee as it's pulled against his chest, he's rocking back n forth, feeling the effects of that move gone wrong, and Shawn's shown now back on his feet, still writhing after what Ted did to him moments ago, but he's ready to return the favor as he starts to stagger over towards him. Ted sees him coming from a mile away and tries to pull himself up, he's able to no problem, it seems like his knee isn't in as bad of shape as everyone had worried, and he's able to stand without even so much of a limp. But as he makes it to his feet Shawn comes right at him kicking him in the gut, then as he slumps forward from the hard kick, Shawn grabs him by his hair and bounces his skull off the apron, then keeps his grip before forcing Ted's head into the Cell wall, almost mirroring Ted's assault just moments ago but instead of going after his back he's looking to bust the son of a bitch open. Bu Shawn's not done returning the favor, he directs him over to the steel steps then smashes his head off the steps rushing all the blood to his head, turning a bright red, but not a sign of blood yet, so Shawn does it again much to the fans chagrin.

{Michael Cole}
That's right Shawn, show him who's boss! Teach him a lesson he'll never forget.

{JR}
This match is known for being as brutal as they come and it's living up to it's name with these two.

{King}
It sure is but I have a feeling we haven't seen anything close to what this match has in store for us just yet.

Shawn takes a moment to tell the fan's off, then goes to send Ted into the steps again, but Ted places his arms out in front of him blocking Shawn's attempt, then connects with a few quick back elbows before bouncing his head off the steps! Shawn staggers back, Ted grabs hold of his wrist to whip him into the steps, but Shawn chops his hand away with a quick swipe, before connecting with a series of knife edge chops turning Ted's chest beet red within a matter of seconds! Ted gets backed against the cell, still getting the holy hell chopped out of him, the fans though they don't like him are shouting "Wooo!" with every strike he delivers.

{JR}
Shawn's chopping him so fast Ted can't see straight!

{King}
That's one thing Shawn's got that helps him deal some serious damage, it might not seem like much but you try being chopped across your chest repeatedly and see how you feel.

{Michael Cole}
He's done a fine job of keeping Ted right where he wants him.

With Ted holding his chest in pain, Shawn looks to add an explanation point on things by turning around and stepping up onto the apron, he grips the top rope with both hands, looks back to make sure Ted's right in position and hasn't moved away, then launches himself onto the second rope, and in one fluid motion springboards back for a springboard moonsault....but before he can make the back flip transition, Ted reaches out catching him on his shoulders as if they were going to play a game of chicken, but this isn't some water game, and Shawn learns that more than ever when Ted rushes back drilling his back straight into the Cell, then propels Shawn forward off his shoulders and drops him jaw first onto the apron!

{King}
Talk about innovation! I don't think I've ever seen that counter before!

{JR}
Shawn went for high risk for high reward, but instead he was sent for one hell of a ride.

{Michael Cole}
Big whoop, Ted got lucky, so he caught him, that doesn't mean anything.

{King}
Except Shawn's pretty much out like a light right now, so it could mean the end of this match.

With Shawn thrown for one hell of a loop, Ted looks to take this action back into the ring by sliding under the bottom rope, then half stepping out onto the apron grabbing Shawn by his hair to pull him into the ring with him.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 IV9jyq1

He's dazed though, and quite confused where he is right, Ted keeps trying to pull him closer, to get him in the ring with him, but he gets more than he was in for when all that pulling of Shawn's hair brings him back to reality and he strikes Ted with a hard low blow knocking him backwards to the mat grabbing at his groin in the pain. Though he's still a bit out of it Shawn's awareness of where he is gives him the ability to drop down to his knees and he starts to search under the ring for something. Ted's still on the mat rolling around feeling the aftermath of that low blow, when Shawn starts to pull out a table!

{JR}
Business is about to pick up!

{Michael Cole}
Whereas Ted better be glad he has little Tate at home because after that he'll be lucky if he can still have kids!

{King}
Shawn caught him right below the belt and any man will tell you that's enough to not only knock the wind out of you but really leave you floored for quite some time.

Shawn picks the table up and slides it into the ring, then enters after it smirking at what he did to Ted. He mocks him for a moment holding his crotch then yelling out "It hurts so bad!" before laughing it off and grabbing the table again to start setting it up. He pulls the legs out from each side before pounding down on the claps making sure it's nice and sturdy, then walks over to Ted to try to pick him up, but to continue the trend of this match Ted returns the favor from just a minute ago by nailing Shawn with a low blow of his own!

{Michael Cole}
And this is supposed to be an honorable man?!

{King}
All's fair in love and war, Cole!

{JR}
Michaels might want to rethink mocking his opponents in the future after that one.

{Michael Cole}
Because he expected the so called "good guy" to stoop so low?

{King}
You do realize Shawn did that first...we just saw it.

{Michael Cole}
So that makes it okay? Ted's the one that acts like he's holier than thou, what a hypocrite!

Before Shawn can fall back, Ted picks him up off the mat, then lightly scoop slams him onto the table, nowhere near with enough power to break the table, but that's not what he's aiming to do, not yet anyways. Ted turns his attention to the fans, then does some mocking of his own immitating the antics of Shawn usually when he's fired up, what's he look to do? We find out as he steps out onto the apron, then makes a slow climb perching himself on the top rope. He stands tall, looking down at Shawn then leaps up into the air diving off the corner with what looks to be Shawn's own signature diving elbow drop! But as quick as he's soaring through the air, Shawn pops off the table, then throws his boot out wide as he lifts his leg into the air and catches Ted with Sweet Chin Music! Ted crashes to the mat, knocked out and laid out!

{JR}
Sweet Chin Music! Michaels hits Sweet Chin Music from out of nowhere! DiBiase is out like a light, this could very well be it!

{Michael Cole}
That's the kind of man Shawn is, he gets the job done when you least expect it, and that's why he should be World Heavyweight Champion, Vickie should add him into tonight's match because this one's about to be over.

{King}
Ted's down, but is he out?

{JR}
I hate to say it, because he's a wonderful young man that's very deserving of being reinstated, but it looks like he is, King.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 RWKfN3r

Shawn collapses to the mat after connecting with a crowd stunning super kick, the fans have gone silent, they know this could be it, their hero could be beaten, and they can't believe it. Slowly Shawn crawls over to Ted, clawing his way over towards him, then manages to throw his arm across his chest and the referee begins his count as every fan remains on the edge of their seats...

1.......

2..............

{Michael Cole}
YES! IT'S OVER, SHAWN'S DONE IT, TED'S LOST, ALL IS RIGHT WITH THE WOR-

NO!! Ted's shoulder flies off the mat sending the arena into a fit of excitement!

{King}
You were saying, Cole?

{JR}
Ted's just proven right here you can never count him out no matter how bad it looks.

{Michael Cole}
That was three! Ted paid off the referee, he had to have, that was three!

{King}
Calm down, you're angrier than Shawn, and he's the one in the match!

{Michael Cole}
I don't care! Shawn's been screwed, that was it, Ted was out, Vickie come out and make this right! They're trying to screw Shawn, do something!

{JR}
A bit ironic considering Vickie and Shawn have screwed Ted out of being reinstated three times, just face it Cole, he kicked out, Ted's quite the resilient man.

The arena is still buzzing from the very moment Ted kicked out, while Shawn's lying across Ted with a look of disbelief, he yells at the referee, but he tells him it was only two. Shawn stumbles to his feet, then backs into the far corner, and begins to stomp on the mat, is he going for another Sweet Chin Music? He continues to stomp repeatedly in succession, the fans chant along out of the sheer fun of it....1!.....2!....He motions for Ted to get up, yelling at him before stomping again, 3!.....4!......Ted staggers to his feet, nearly falling down but maintaining his balance.....5!......6!......Slowly he turns around....7!....Shawn comes running right for him lifts his leg up as he nears him, but Ted ducks under, grabs Shawn from behind and connects with a picture perfect Dream Street through the table!

{JR}
DREAM STREET THROUGH THE TABLE! DIBIASE HITS DREAM STREET!

{King}
No way! How in the world did he pull that off?!

{Michael Cole}
What?! This can't be happening, this can't be real, I'm dreaming...it's just a nightmare....I'll close my eyes, count to three, and it'll all be over, one......two....

{JR}
You're right about that, Cole! All Ted has to do is cover him and he's got it!

The fans are going nuts, Ted wastes no time hooking the leg, is this it, is he finally back, is he long journey finally over?!

1...........

2......................

Unbelievable! Shawn kicks out! The fans can't believe it, Ted can't believe it, he quickly sits up looking back at the referee, are you sure that wasn't three he says? But unfortunately for him it wasn't, somehow, someway, Shawn kicked out and this match is still going.

{Michael Cole}
YES! I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT SHAWN, I NEVER DOUBTED YOU FOR A SECOND!

{King}
You sure about that, Cole?

{JR}
I don't know how these men can take so much punishment yet continue to fight as strong as ever, it's a true testament to their ability.

Ted sighs, he really thought he had him there, he says "Are you sure?" looking back at the referee again who tells him it was only two. Ted then gets back up to his feet and exits the ring while Shawn remains sprawled out on the canvas. Ted returns just a few seconds later with a steel chair in hand, and an idea in mind....he takes a moment to pull the chair out of it's closed position and places it down, but he's not looking sit in it...no...instead he pulls Shawn's limp carcass off the mat from behind, locking in the Million Dollar Dream, dragging him closer to the chair, if Shawn just barely survived a Dream Street through a table, surely a Dream Street on a chair might be enough!

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 SKi76D0

{JR}
Ted's going for it again, but this time on a chair?!

{King}
This is one determined man!

He goes to lift him up, but Shawn spins out away from him, kicks him in the gut before Ted even knows what hit him, pulls him in closely in between his legs, almost as if he were going for a power bomb...but that's not what he's going for.... he steps back while keeping Ted well in position, then begins to fall back with Ted's feet leaving the canvas as he's lifted up...the fans watch as worried as can be, this doesn't look good and it's not good at all....because once Ted's lifted up straight as an arrow, he's suddenly planted on the chair with a sit out piledriver!

{JR}
Good god in heaven as god as my witness....that's it ladies and gentlemen, I don't like it, but there's only so much a human can take, and a piledriver is no ordinary move....there's a reason you don't see that very often, but when done on a chair? There's just no way anyone can continue on after that.

{Michael Cole}
Close but not close enough, reserve your spot at the unemployment line now because you're finished, Ted!

{King}
Shawn's not only trying to keep Ted out of XWL, but paralyze the man!

The chair crumples upon impact, and Ted lies flat on the broken chair, as motionless as he could possibly be...the looks on every face of every fan in the arena right now say it all...a man's dream is over, seven months of hell will not have a happy ending...and we have no idea if he'll even walk again let alone rejoin the XWL roster. Shawn takes a moment to boast, he knows he's got it right here, there's not a doubt in his mind, no one can kick out after that and Ted will be no exception. The grim silence in the arena continues as Shawn finally rolls Ted over onto his beck, and covers him nonchalantly.

1..........

2......................

{JR}
And sadly this one is over...

But it's not! The silence is overtaken by extreme overjoy as Ted's arm flies up off the mat, and Shawn's jaw as well as everyone else's drops to ground, there's no way Ted kicked out, there's just no way!

{Michael Cole}
WHAT?! HOW?!

{King}
How is right....Ted just isn't human!

{JR}
I have never been so shocked in my life, how in the world does this man have the strength to continue on after what just happened?!

The arena has exploded in a mix of shock and excitement, Ted just will not stay down no matter what Shawn does to him! Michaels begins to throw a fit, he yells at the referee, telling him that was three, that there's no way Ted kicked out of that, he begins to poke him in the chest telling him to do his job, all while Ted lies on the canvas trying to get his bearings, and find the strength to move, while he managed to kick out, it was without a doubt by using every last bit of energy inside of him. Shawn continues to lose his cool arguing with the referee instead of going back on the attack, Ted begins to roll over towards the ropes, still very weak, but slowly coming along. He reaches out to grab hold of the ropes, trying to grip them to pull himself up, Shawn notices this while he's STILL complaining to the official, shoves him aside, comes charging at Ted who was finally about to stand. Just as he's about to Shawn swings for a clothesline, but Ted ducks it, tosses Shawn over head who lands on the apron, Ted's still too fatigued to capitalize quickly and Shawn decks him square in the jaw making him teeter back. Michaels takes a second he doesn't have to catch his breath, and he soon learns that will be a mistake he regrets because Ted comes barreling at him, launches himself through the ropes like he would for a suicide dive, but in the process he grabs Shawn taking him with him and the two go flying off the apron and THROUGH the Cell Door!

{Michael Cole}
MY GOD! YOU'VE GOTTA BE.....WHAT POSSESS A MAN TO DO THAT?!

{JR}
There are no words....just no words to describe what just happened!

{King}
That was incredible!

A VERY loud "HOLY SHIT!" chant makes itself heard all throughout the arena as Ted and Shawn lie outside the cell, the door flung open against the cell, and the fans are going nuts!

{JR}
What a slobber knocker of a fight we've got here tonight ladies and gentlemen, just when you think it can't get better it does and I'm at a loss as to what more I could say other than this is one for the history books folks.

{King}
Talk about risking life and limb to hurt your opponent, Ted pulled off the unthinkable right there, I didn't even know that was possible!

{Michael Cole}
He'll pay for that! Shawn's gonna win you hear me? Ted can fight it all he wants, this night will end with him taking one final walk of shame, that is if Shawn allows him to walk after that.

{JR}
I'm not sure if either of these men will be able to leave this building under their own power if this keeps up!

Ted jumps to his feet more fired up than ever after spearing Shawn straight off the apron and through the damn door, he starts to fall back against the barricade where fans gather around him patting him on the back an rooting him on, the support for this man could not get any bigger and you have to think this is partly why Ted's refused to stay down, and why he initially came back. Shawn gets on his hands and knees, beyond exhausted and hurting immensely, but he to refuses to stay down for long and backs up against the opposing barricade, though he's not receiving the same treatment from those fans, he is however being told how much he sucks instead. They raise their heads up suddenly, look each other in the eyes then charge forward firing away with lefts and rights from all sides, neither man letting up, neither man letting the other get the best of them. They keep trading blows, brawling as if their very lives depend on it, all while the fans cheer Ted on with each strike he hits, and boo Shawn with with each punch he lands.

{King}
They're really letting each other have it!

{JR}
Business is picking up, the action has spilled out of the Cell they're supposed to be trapped and now they're brawling on the ramp, the fans are certainly getting their money's worth with this one.

{Michael Cole}
Until Ted wins and they all ask for a refund....thankfully Shawn's in no danger of losing, so they'll all go home happy knowing XWL is still a DiBiase free environment.

With fists still flying a mile a minute it's uncertain who will hit that one punch that puts them in control, they start to slow down though, Shawn connects with a hard right sending Ted stumbling back, but then stumbles forward nailing a right of his own, this continues for a a bit until Shawn's able to connect with two in a row, then three, then a fourth, a fifth, and a sixth that nearly drops Ted but he keeps on his feet, Shawn backs away, perhaps looking to gain momentum for what he's looking to do next, he runs straight for Ted leaping up, but Ted caches him for an attempted flapjack into the cell, but Shawn grabs hold of the cage for dear life, preventing that from happening! Ted tries to pull him down but Shawn kicks his hand and and does the only thing he can at this time and that's start climbing up to the top.

{JR}
Shawn's climbing the cell wall, is he looking to get on top of it?!

{King}
Ted's going after him too!

Ted starts to climb up after Shawn, though he's not close enough to be able to reach him just yet so he continues as does Shawn who nears the top, finally he manages to throw his arm up and grip the roof of the cell aiding him in climbing fully up, Ted starts to climb faster, he's getting closer to the top, Shawn sees this and runs over to the edge, Ted tries to place his hand on the roof like Shawn did but the difference now is there's someone trying to prevent that, Michaels stomps at Ted's hand, hoping to make him slip and fall to his assured doom, but Ted fights through the pain keeping his hand gripped on the roof, Shawn kneels down to try and pry Ted's fingers open so his grip will be broken, but Ted's determined to join Shawn on the cell and so he hangs on with one hand before decking Michaels with a good hook sending him back, allowing Ted to go back to climbing normally and finally reaching the top! The arenas going crazy at the sight of these two men standing on the roof, this is as dangerous as it gets! Shawn immediately goes after Shawn trying to grab him but Michaels rakes his eyes out of desperation, then with Ted blinded begins to hit a series of chops much like he did earlier in the match.

{JR}
This won't end well for one man....that roof could give way any second!

{Michael Cole}
You can do it Shawn! Save XWL, beat Ted like we know you can!

Each chop makes Ted take a step back each time, Shawn continues, refusing to let up, one after another, another after that, and then ANOTHER! Ted's getting into dangerous territory he's just a few inches from the edge one wrong move and he'll plummet through the announce table! Shawn strikes him once more, Ted begins to sway back, nearly losing his balance, but as Shawn goes for one final deadly chop, Ted catches his wrist, spins him inward, and hooks him for what looks to be Dream Street!

{JR}
There is no way in hell, tell me Ted's not thinking what I think he's thinking?!

{Michael Cole}
You see now how reckless he is?! This is a man's life he's toying with, and look at that sick expression on his face, he's enjoying it!

{King}
I think we might wanna move guys....Ted's eyeing our table, and I think we're about to get an unexpected guest in a minute.

Shawn lets out the most terrifying scream as he realizes he's trapped, Ted tries to lift him up, but Shawn holds his ground throws him overhead towards the middle of the cell, then comes charging at him for Sweet Chin Music! But Ted side steps out of the way, attempts Dream Street again, but Shawn hits a flurry of back elbow shots to the side of his ribs, turns around hooking Ted's head for a DDT through the roof? But No! Ted clubs away at Shawn's back not letting it end that easily, thrusts his knee up catching him square in the gut breaking free from him, throws his arm over his shoulder at an attempt for a suplex, he lifts him up but Shawn struggles with everything he has left to land back on his feet, shoves Ted away, immediately goes for the super kick, Ted catches his foot, spins him around quickly hooking him from behind, lifting him up with great height then slams him down onto the roof with A HUGE DREAM STREET! The roof panel they were standing on suddenly collapses out of from under them and Shawn crashes to the mat!

{JR}
GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY HE'S BROKEN HIM IN HALF!

{King}
Ted just hit Dream Street through the cell roof! If that's not a will to win I don't know what is!

{Michael Cole}
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

The arena erupts in a massive spree of cheers as Ted falls into the cover, hooking Shawn's leg....is this it, is Ted FINALLY back in XWL?! The referee counts with each fan in the building counting along...

1.................

2..................................

3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

{JR}
He's done it! Ted DiBiase's done it, it's over, he's back, he's back, HE'S BACK!

{King}
He risked it all to win back his job and he's done just that!

Ted's theme sounds shortly following the three count and audience jumps to their feet cheering just as loud as they can, Ted's struggles are finally over, after four months of being screwed, after seven months since being fired, he's finally ended it all and won his job back!

Ted falls back to the mat, extremely emotional, and overwhelmed by it all, he's beaten his rival, the man that stood in his way from getting back what was his has been taught a very valuable lesson, hell hath no fury like a DiBiase!

{Michael Cole}
That loser is an XWL superstar again?!

{King}
No Cole, that WINNER is an XWL superstar again!

{JR}
What a classic these two put on, Shawn might have failed at keeping Ted out, but these two put on one hell of a match!

The referee grabs Ted's arm raising it up in the air after helping him to his feet, then then fans begin a strongly heard "WELCOME BACK!" chant that brings a smile to the face of DiBiase.

{JR}
Welcome back indeed, Ted DiBiase, welcome back son!

{Michael Cole}
He's REALLY back?! Please Vickie, I'm begging you, fire him again....don't let this man win....

{King}
But he already has, Cole...Vickie's tried and tried but has ultimately failed, Ted DiBiase is once again an XWL superstar, and after this big victory there's no one that can say he hasn't earned his spot in this company.

The cell finally rises up and Ted wastes no time getting the hell out of there exiting the ring and rushing over to a swarm of fans where he takes his place in front of them flexing for the cameras with a smile as wide as the eyes can see all while shouting "I'M BACK BABY!"

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 N9JiZvt

He continues to pose, as happy as he's been in a very long time, he's made his Posse proud tonight here at the fifth anniversary of Final Stand, some said he couldn't do it, others said he'd never be back, but he's proven them all wrong, and he's not only back but better than ever! Ted takes a break from celebrating and looks over at Shawn who is being tended to by medics, he then turns back to the camera with a cheesy smile on his face and shouts "Hey Vickie! You might wanna get a spatula for your boy!" before laughing and high fiving a couple of fans. He places his hands on top of his head in disbelief that it's finally over, he's able to call himself an XWL superstar again, and that's brought a smile to his face that we haven't seen since he won the World Heavyweight Championship last year. His celebration continues while we fade away to a video package hyping the Joey Ryan versus Chris Jericho match where the World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line in our main-event.

Final stand continues on from the celebrations of Ted’s historic win to backstage where Paul Heyman is shown frustrated and rushing around like a madman. Hastily the cameraman heads over to Paul just as he turns around and walks down the corridor towards him.

Cameraman
Erm Paul? I see your busy but can we ju-

Paul Heyman
You’re damn right I’m busy. Tonight my client Brock Lesnar is into his final preperations for tonight where we will witness the end of The Rock. You see tonight Brock Lesnar isn’t just going in with the skills The Rock takes in. Brock Lesnar is bringing a fight. Brock Lesnar is bringing in his UFC fighting experience and he is the only superstar in the back who can bring that to the table. The Rock can bring his movie star experience and try cut a few promos but when it comes down to it and what everyone focuses on is how good they do in that ring. The Rocks got a hell of a lot of courage going into this fight, he’s doing it because of the people. This is all for the people. The Rocks millions and millions of adoring fans. What does he actually think is going to happen, does he think he can win?

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 ZxzU8

Paul Heyman
Does he think he can actually match Brock’s talent? Does he think he can go pound for pound with the greatest superstar in this company? Does he think he has the mental toughness that Brock Lesnar has? The Rock brings nothing to this match. Now let me ask you this and this is going to be a question with only one right answer. Tell me this, Who in your opinion is going to win this match tonight?

Cameraman
Well I am a fan of Th..

Paul Heyman
Let me just stop you right there. Like I said before, I don’t have time for much of an interview because I have to go help my client prepare for giving Rock the biggest beating of his life. He dosen’t know what he’s got himself into and tonight, we’re gonna prove it.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 KDKjs

Heyman storms off as the camera follows for a brief moment before cutting out.

Justin Roberts:
Introducing first…Hailing from Miami Florida...The Peoples Champion...THE RRRRRRRRRRRROCK!

The Rocks theme hits and is almost instantly drowned out by the insane reaction from this Final Stand crowd, they love this man with a passion and the reaction only triples in intensity when The Rock fires out from behind the curtain clearly hyped for this HUGE match up, he's going one on one with the perfect storm and the millions and millions of his fans know it...

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Raw040703-37

The Rock makes his way down the ramp slowly, soaking in this atmosphere, it is like nothing he has ever seen or heard before in his entire career, the goosebumps finally begin to appear on his body as he reaches the bottom of the ramp...

IT'S BROCK LESNAR!

The Rock crumples to the ramp as Brock nails him across the back of the head with a huge forearm during his entrance! The crowd are boo'ing the holy hell out of Brock Lesnar as he throws Rock shoulder first into the steps! The Rock lets out a loud cry of pain as he falls to the mat but he barely has time to catch his breath as Brock scoops him up to his feet and tosses him into the ring! Heymans laughter can be heard in the rafters as he stands meters behind a satisfied Lesnar. Brock slides under the bottom rope and the match is now officially underway!

60:00

Brocks quick attack proved pointless as The Rock manages his way to his feet and begins to unload big right hands on Lesnar, each shot gaining a huge reaction from this sold out crowd, Rock delivers a load more punches backing him into the corner, he cocks back and delivers a jaw jacking punch causing the beast to flop down to the seated turnbuckle position, Rock stomps all over him with pent up anger and frustration, months of ambushes all getting repaid as Rock stomps the living hell out of Brock! The Rock then flips him the bird before coming down with one last chest crunching stomp!

Brock Lesnar rolls under the bottom rope and stumbles over the the announce table, hoping to get a break but The Rock is all over him, he takes Lesnars head and rattles it off the announce table, without letting go he walks over to the apron and slams his head down there to. The Rock still pissed off begins to strip the Spanish announce table of everything, he grabs a hold of a monitor and stalks a rising Lesnar, Brock turns quickly and boots The Rock hard in the gut, he grabs the monitor from Rock and nails him over the head with it as the crowd react with a huge boo watching Rocky fall to the floor below! Paul Heyman is in the corner screaming motivation at Brocks side...

Brock Lesnar looks absolutely pissed as he dishes out boots to the rib cage of The Rock, each sharp boot gains a boo from the crowd and a cry of pain from Rock, Lesnar then picks him up and slams his head on the exposed table, before The Rock can let out a cry of pain Lesnar grabs him by the shoulder and launches him head first right into the steel post! The Rock bounces off and falls harshly backwards into the steel barricade!

Relentless on his attack Brock Lesnar mounts The Rocks dazed body and starts launching vicious forearms into his face! The Rock looks just about unconscious when all of a sudden he shoves his boot into Brocks chest throwing him backwards into the apron! Brock holds his back in pain as The Rock clambers to his feet before punching him square across the jaw! The big man reels backwards for a moment before The Rock grabs him by the head and slams him face first onto the apron! From there The Rock slides him back into the ring, the safest place in the arena, but when you're fighting Brock Lesnar, nowhere's safe...

The Rock gets ready to enter the ring but smirks as he realizes that there's no rules and heads under the ring before pulling out a kendo stick! He slides into the ring and starts to stalk a rising Brock Lesnar...Heymans cries of help do absolutely nothing as the beast incarnate turns right around into a sickening shot to the forehead! The crack can be heard through the entire building but amazingly Lesnar doesn't fall, he merely stumbles backwards, The Rock looks on in surprise but decides to swing again, this time aiming for the ribs but NO! Brock grabs the stick in mid air and yanks it out of Rockys hands, tossing it out of the ring before bulldozing the peoples champion with an angry clothesline!

The Rock hits the mat with tremendous force which causes him to to bounce back up almost instantly but when he does Brock mows him down with yet another clothesline! The Rock staggers over to the corner trying to pick himself up but like a rabid dog Brock Lesnar see's his prey, he grabs The Rock by the arm and irish whips him hard across the ring causing the great one to rattle chest first off of the turnbuckle and turn around, wincing in pain, but nothing compared to what he feels as he hits the mat hard following a huge spinebuster! Brock Lesnar smirks looking down as things seem to be going his way he goes for the first cover of the match! 1....NO! The Rock kicks out! Showing his true fighting spirit not letting it get to two.

Kicking out won't be enough to win this match though as Brock Lesnar drops a big knee down onto his chest causing him to let out a loud cry of pain! Noticing the reaction of the brama bull, Brock stands up tall before quickly dropping another sharp knee into his ribs, eliciting the same response! The crowd begin to stir, the electricity starts to build through the arena and The Rock feels it! He uses his instinct to push Lesnar back before bursting to his feet and pouncing forward with a big diving clothesline! Brock falls to the mat and now it's Rocks turn as he unloads with a series of harsh stomps to the big mans chest! Brock uses his awareness and rolls out of the ring regrouping but once again The Rock is right behind him!

The crowd let out a loud cheer as The Rock clotheslines Brock from behind sending him right over the barricade into the front row! The Rock swings a leg over trying to follow but Paul Heyman jumps out of nowhere and clings around his waist, not letting him go any further! The crowd are boo'ing in full force as the walrus holds on tight, The Rock is left with no option but to turn around and punch Heyman across the jaw causing him to fall to the floor below but when he turns back around a sickening chair shot rattles his skull leaving him crashing to the floor next to Heyman! Brock smirks as he hops the guard, chair in hand, before unleashing a flurry of big shots to The Rocks back and ribs with the steel chair!

Brock throws the chair to the side after a relentless beating on the peoples champion before scooping him up by the scruff of the neck and picking him up with a big military press, the crowd watches on in shock as Brock drops him from a huge height rib first onto the barricade! The Rock screams out in agony as he stumbles around the floor outside before falling backwards into the commentators table, a lightbulb goes off above Brocks head as he walks towards the Great One with a big smile on his face!

He flies towards The Rock with a big right hand to the jaw, sending him completely over the table and onto the commentators lap who all scatter as Lesnar strolls around the side of the table! He picks The Rock up off of the ground and rolls him onto the table before following him up, a tense feeling fills the arena as The Rock is hoisted up onto the animals shoulders but it quickly turns to excitement when he wriggles out and slides down Brocks back who turns around into a belly to belly suplex off of one table and right through the Spanish announce table! Oh my god! A holy shit chant fills the arena as The Rock slides lifelessly off of the table and Brock lies in a car crash of ruble!

The Rock slowly but surely starts to crawl past the destruction and with everything he has, he throws his right arm over Brock Lesnars chest! 1....2....NO! That son of a bitch Paul Heyman pulls the refs leg away! The ref stands up irate but Heyman cracks him across the jaw with a right hand! He looks on at the angry crowd with a smug look until he focuses his sights on a wide eyed Rock who is seeing nothing but red! The Rock staggers up to his feet and gives chase to Heyman who runs around the ring trying to get away! Seeing no escape Paul jumps into the ring to try and cut through but The Rock slides in the side and meets face to face with the man who just cost him the first fall...

30:00

Paul begins to grovel, even dropping to his knee's praying to The Rock, offering him everything he has not to hurt him but The Rock has heard enough, he grabs Heyman by the Ponytail and drags him back up to his feet before leveling him with a massive spinebuster to a huge cheer from the sold out Final Stand crowd! With the red hot crowd behind him The Rock jumps back to his feet and stands at Heymans head before swinging his arms and running the ropes, he rebounds and jumps over Heyman before rebounding again and coming back with a huge Peoples Elbow! The Rock kips up with the electricity surging and boots Heyman out of the ring! He's on a roll and nothing can stop him now! He turns around and--

F-5!

Brock laughs maniacally as he drops to his knee's and covers The Rock....1.....2.......3! Brock Lesnar takes the first fall thanks to Paul Heyman! Damn it!

Spoiler:

Brock Lesnar gets to his feet as the ref begrudgingly raises his hand and declares him the winner of the first fall, he takes it all in with a proud smile before jogging side to side on the spot arrogantly over The Rocks downed body! The crowds drowning heat only satisfies him more as he finally decides to carry on with the match, picking The Rock up by the scruff of the neck, hoisting him up unto his shoulders and screaming a loud battle cry but as he throws him over his head for a second F-5 The Rock lands on he feet, boots him square in the gut and spikes him with a lightning quick DDT!

With the ball back in his court momentarily The Rock takes his time to catch some breath before struggling back to his feet, once he's up he nails a rising Lesnar with a big right hand sending him backwards into the turnbuckle, Rock charges forward and pancakes the big man with a clothesline causing him to stumble out but when he does The Rock lifts him high into the air on his shoulders and brings him down with a vicious Samoan drop! With the high octane crowd at boiling point The Rock drops to a squatting position and circles Lesnar who is nearly at his feet...

Lesnar spins around and Rock Bott-NO! The big man knee's The Rock square in the stomach causing him to double over in pain, Brock quickly goes for another knee but this time the brama bull see's it coming and grabs his leg, flipping him over with a dragon whip! The crowd goes insane as he locks in the sharpshooter on the former UFC World Heavyweight Champion! Brock lets out a yell of pain as The Rock wrenches hard on his back, Lesnar makes it to the ropes almost immediately but in this match that doesn't count for a damn thing! Brock has nowhere to go! The ref tries to check on him, asks him if he wants to tap out but all he does is inadvertently cost Rock the fall when Brock throws the ref straight into his back knocking him over!

Brock and Rock slowly get to their feet at the same time but when they do Brock grabs The Rock by the head and runs him over to the turnbuckle, slamming him down face first on the top pad! With The Rock groggy he grabs the peoples champion and hoists him up to the top rope! With a shocked crowd watching on Lesnar climbs right up to the top with him and grabs him in a double underhook before throwing them both off! The fly through the air and a sickening thud is heard as The Rocks body collides with the mat full force! Brock goes for the cover! 1.....2.....NO! Somehow The Rock kicks out!

With the sold out crowd chanting for him to get up The Rock puts all of his effort into picking his broken body up where Brock Lesnar is waiting with a stiff right hand that knocks him into the ropes but when the peoples champ returns he leaps into the air and nails a HUGE flying clothesline! He kips up! It's happening! The sold out crowd are going wild as The Rock plants a groggy Lesnar with a spinebuster! For the second time in the match he rips off an elbow pad and launches it into the crowd! The Rock runs the ropes and rebounds, jumping over Lesnar to the other side, he rebounds back again and kicks his leg in the air coming down with a huge Peoples Elb---NO! Brock Lesnar grabs his arm in mid air and brings him right down into a deadly Kimura Lock!

Wrenching it as far back as possible The Rocks arm looks ready to break in half leaving him with two options, tap or snap...The Rock knows that if he wants a chance in coming back he's gonna need to arms and so...He taps out!

He holds both his hands behind his head screaming for The Rock to get up and attack him! "How much advantage do you need, Great One?!" He taunts as The Rock slowly but surely gets to his knee's behind Brock, what comes next even Lesnar couldn't expect!

Brock manages to roll out of the ring to stop Rock from hounding him, Lesnar immediately digs under the ring and grabs a steel chair! The Rock hesitates to leave the ring as Brock whacks the apron with the chair! Lesnar now has a clear game plan as he needs to run down the clock, he stalks Rock from the outside and keeps him from leaving! The Rock quickly drops to the mat and rolls to the outside, Lesnar runs around the ring and swings the chair for Rockys head but the great one ducks and Brocks chair collides with the ring post sending a shock wave through his body!

Brock drops the chair instantly and is met with a swift right hand from The Rock! The Rock then grabs the beast by the head and throws him right into the barricade ribs first! As Final Stand continues Lilian Garcia is stood in the ring ready to introduce the competitors for the next match up, then as the ring bell is rung twice she raises the microphone up to her mouth

Lilian Garcia: This following contest is the Miss Money in the Bank match, the only way to win in the climb the ladder and retrieve the briefcase, and the winner will have up to Final Stand VI to cash in for a Diva's title shot at any time they choose. Introducing first...

As Lilian finishes speaking the theme of the first competitor Madison Eagles starts to play throughout the arena

After a few seconds Eagles' emerges through the curtain out onto the stage to a small reaction from the crowd

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 AybjDf4

Lilian Garcia: From Jonestown, New South Wales, Australia, The Punisher, Madison Eagles!

Jim Ross: This young lady could very well be the dark horse in this match up, a relative new comer to XWL having made her debut late last year, we know very little about her and what she can do, but we do know that she wants to make an impact and what better way then to win that briefcase here tonight?

Jerry "The King" Lawler: But that's not going to be an easy feat, she's going up against three other very determined Divas, who all have their eyes on the same prize. They all want that briefcase, and they're going to put their bodies on the line for the chance at that.

As Eagles makes her way down the ramp she removes the t-shirt covering her ring attire, throwing it to the floor on the ramp

Jim Ross: That's true King, and as of recent weeks Eagles has been getting the better of Brie Bella one of her opponents tonight as well as her sister Nikki, and you know Nikki will do everything in her power to make sure her sister gets the contract, and Madison Eagles does not.

Michael Cole: She can't afford to focus on Nikki Bella, the second you turn your focus on either one of them the other will be all over you, she's got that to contend with as well as MsChif and Michelle McCool tonight, she might of bitten off more than she can chew.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Madison is more than capable of defending herself, she just needs to play it smart and then she'll stand a chance, that's what they all have to do, this is her chance to make a statement, and we heard what she's been saying the past few weeks, she doesn't plan on waiting very long to cash that briefcase in if she wins it. This isn't a lady with patience, she's going to take what she wants.

As she reaches ringside Madison jogs up the steel steps and enters the ring and drops down to one knee in the middle of the ring with her arms spread out wide

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 K2QMJ4R

Michael Cole: That could be her downfall, we've seen superstars and diva's try to cash in and fail because they haven't waited for the best chance, and we've seen many diva's lose that briefcase because they've waited too long to cash it in, if she somehow manages that win tonight she needs to pick her moment to strike.

Jim Ross: That's true Cole, but it's jumping the gun a bit there, cashing in might seem to be the easy part, but they need to get the briefcase first.

Madison stands back up and walks over to a corner in the ring, as her theme fades out and the music to one of her opponents starts to play

When Michelle walks out onto the stage she gets booed by the crowd, as she turns around pointing up into the air before turns back around and making her way to the ring

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 YsizHap

Lilian Garcia: And from Palatka, Florida, Michelle McCool!

Michael Cole: Here's my pick for Miss Money in the Bank, the former Women's champion and four time Diva's champion, Michelle McCool! You name it and she's done it in XWL and she's looking to add Miss Money in the Bank to her resume.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Her accomplishments sure are impressive, but with MsChif in this match as well, given their history I have my doubts that winning the briefcase is what she's entirely focused on tonight.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Wdm5fMy

Michael Cole: What are you talking about Lawler, sure they don't get along, far from it but Michelle isn't going to let that stop her from climbing that ladder and getting a title shot in the near future.

Jim Ross: But surely you've got to think that with MsChif in the match that it could cause to distract her, we've seen for a last few months these two woman have no love lost between them.

When she reaches ringside Michelle walks around to the camera side of the ring before hoping up onto the ringapron swinging her leg behind her and kicking up onto the apron before entering the ring and climbing the near by turnbuckle onto the second rope

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 DUz0tvG

Michael Cole: Well I think she'll be able to put it past her, tonight she has the chance to put MsChif behind her and make a huge step towards further cementing her is one of the greatest diva's in XWL history.

When Michelle descends the turnbuckle she stands in opposite corner to Eagles as they both await the next competitor

Lilian Garcia: From The Inferno, MsChif!

Jim Ross: And here she comes, the Tormentor of Souls herself getting ready to compete in her first ever Final Stand match and what a way to debut.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: That’s right a money in the bank match is serious business, not only because of the prize hanging in the sky, but because of all the danger and risks that comes with it.

Jim Ross But is there any diva in this match who knows about danger and risks more than MsChif is? Ever since debuting in August, MsChif has been a force to be reckoned with and nobody has left a confrontation with her the same way they entered.

Michael Cole: Come on guys, MsChif isn’t invincible, she isn’t some unstoppable force. She’s human and that’s been proven time and time again.

Jim Ross: I would argue that MsChif is even scarier when she loses because she gets angry. Besides, Cole, I’ve seen you jump one or two times in fear when MsChif screams.

Michael Cole: I don’t jump when MsChif screams, it’s just a bad case of the hiccups.

MsChif steps onto the stage and receives a big cheer from the crowd and she smirks as she takes a look at the ladders surrounding the ring and the money in the bank briefcase hanging in the air. MsChif throws her right arm into the air and lets loose with one of her banshee screams that gets another big pop from the crowd.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Could you imagine what a huge moment this would be for MsChif if she’s able to win the briefcase tonight?

Jim Ross: It would be major step forward in her XWL career, but it’ll be a lot easier said than done because she’ll be going up against some very stiff competition.

Michael Cole: MsChif is a one trick pony and I can’t wait for her to realize that screaming doesn’t win you matches.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Are you kidding me Cole? MsChif has won plenty of matches, in fact she’s pinned both Madison Eagles and Brie Bella.

Jim Ross: But she hasn’t been able to pin Michelle McCool and there’s no doubt that will be on MsChif’s mind as the match gets underway.

Michael Cole: Well this is a ladder match so she won’t be pinning Michelle in this match either.

MsChif walks over around the ring and climbs onto the apron and stares at a group of fans sitting in the front row who mimic her scream. MsChif gets down on a knee and rears back and shows them how it’s done and the people go crazy.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 L

Jim Ross: That may be true Cole, but that’s not going to stop MsChif from trying to hurt Michelle. I honestly think there’s nothing that stop MsChif from bringing physical harm to Michelle.

Michael Cole: Well if she does want to win the match then she’ll put aside her hatred for Michelle and focus on scaling the ladder.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Someone like MsChif can’t just ignore the urge to hurt someone. She said herself that tonight the choice between victory and vengeance will have to be made.

MsChif climbs to the top rope and screams for the third time and this one is louder than the other as she lets out one final war cry before stepping down to the mat. MsChif begins slowly pacing back and forth in the ring waiting for the fun to begin.

The music of the Bella Twins play and out comes Brie and Nikki Bella, decked in matching green sparkling attires with Brie donning a custom made cape that says Brie Bella on the back. Brie and Nikki have a no-attitude, no nonsense type of expression on their face, particularly Brie. Tonight is her night to actually gain her spot back on top where she deserves to be in her mind.

Lilian Garcia: And from Scottsdale, Arizona, accompanied by Nikki, Brie Bella!

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 NRk81HK

Brie and Nikki walk and stop at the top of the ramp as the crowd boos them. The Bella Twins twirl at the top of the ramp as the boos now turn into some whistle from the men in the crowd. Brie gives a little extra twirl and holds her hand in the air, most likely mocking Layla's "Flawless" pose.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 CMYIg91

The devious duo known as The Bella Twins now strut down the ramp as Brie looks on at her opponents. Nikki bows down at Brie as the some kids try to hold their hands out to get a hand slap or two from Brie and Nikki to no avail. Brie, no nonsense look then turns into a little smirk as her opponents for the night eyeball her up and down. They might say that Brie doesn't stand a chance, but no one really knows what Brie is capable of it.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 XV0LBsL

Brie and Nikki hop up onto the apron and pose side by side. They backflip from the apron and into the ring as Brie looks up at the briefcase and then down at her opponents, then she looks back up at the briefcase for a while, this briefcase just has to be on her.

As the bell rings signalling the end of the match the theme of the winner starts to play throughout the arena

Madison Eagles stands up on top of the ladder clutching the briefcase in his arms proudly, standing above the other three divas down on the mat

Jim Ross: Madison Eagles has won the Miss Money in the Bank contract! She's defeated three other divas and now she has gained herself a title opportunity at any time in the next twelve months, what a moment in this woman’s career!

Michael Cole: But she couldn't of done it without a huge helping hand from MsChif, she was so focused on making sure Michelle McCool didn't get the briefcase she didn't notice Madison Eagles was already an arms reach away from victory.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: And what about Brie Bella, we all thought she had the match won, she had both hands on the case but just couldn't pull it down, she's going to be kicking herself for this tonight, she's been close before to the Diva's championship, just little over a month ago at Uprising and she thought she was going to earn another chance just now but it wasn't to be.

The cameras cut to a short reel of the match, highlighting some of the key moments in the match, firstly displaying the early dominance of Brie Bella and MsChif

Jim Ross: These two Diva's really came out of the gates early in the match, and really enforced their authority in the match up, but neither could quite gain the advantage.

Then they show a clip of Brie Bella trying desperately to pull down the briefcase

Michael Cole: I thought it was all over here, Brie was all alone at the top of the ladder but she couldn't quite get it done.

Then they show a clip of Madison Eagles knocking Brie off the briefcase and reaching for it herself

Jerry "The King" Lawler: But it wasn't to be, Eagles managed to stop her before Brie could unhook it and it was only a matter of time. As she tussled with the briefcase, Michelle McCool pulled Brie off the ladder and tried to climb it herself, but MsChif quickly stopped her and during the commotion Madison Eagles managed to pull the briefcase down almost unnoticed.

As the highlight clip ends, Madison has no climbed down the ladder and exited the ring, still holding the briefcase with both arms up to her chest, before raising both her arms and briefcase above her head

Jim Ross: But needless to say you have to give Madison credit where it's due, she managed to get the job done but now the question remains when will she plan on cashing in? She said she didn't plan on waiting, and now we just have to wait and see.

With the cameras focused on Eagles backing up the ramp, the cameras slowly fade out to a promotional clip for XWL's next pay-per-view event, Dead Man's Hand featuring Dean Ambrose

XWL goes backstage where The Miz is found stood with Matt Striker ahead of his Intercontinental championship match continuing what has already been an incredible PPV so far.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 F2JtnF6

Matt Striker
So Miz, we stand here at Final Stand V the biggest PPV of the year how are you nerves feeling ahead of you big match?

The Miz
Nerves? I don’t feel nervous Matt and certainly not when your feeling as confident as I am anyway. Let me tell you something quickly, with this PPV being the biggest of the year and the spotlight being on me thats only going to help my chances as it will drive me on and give me that extra kick I needed back in November.

Matt Striker
Well Mike you certainly sound like you think you have a good chance of winning. And on the note of chance, how do you think John Morrison, your opponent tonight and current Intercontinental champion will fare competing in two matches tonight and possibly making what could be the greatest historic victory in history if he manages to win the Money In The Bank and retain his...

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 G8UkEie

The Miz
Woah woah woah. Hold it right there Matt. Before we start talking about fairytales and gingerbread men let me bring you and the whole of the XWL universe back down to earth. Morrison is an average superstar at the greatest stretch of imagination and has just caught a lucky break which needs to be stopped and will be tonight. He is going up against 3 of the best people in the business in the modern era with Christian, Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler. He is in way above his head and I can guarantee you after I win the triple threat elimination match John won’t only be in no state to compete but by some miracle he does make it to the ring he will be so beat up and bruised that if it wasn’t already a difficult enough match for him to scrape a victory, it will be made impossible for him. And not only that, like I’ve said many times in the past, this will be the wakeup call Morrison needs, at the moment he is flying high with the support he is receiving during his ‘big push’ in this company and it hurts me to be the one to shoot you down and throw you back where you belong at the bottom of the pile.

Matt Striker
You seem to be a little overly cocky going into tonight’s match Mike I must admit. I mean if we’re going to look at the big picture not only do you have to deal with one of the most fastest up and coming superstars in John Morrison your also going against Austin Aries who if we remember correctly beat you at last month’s PPV? It’s not my area to get involved in but I think you should step back a little and think about your game plan a bit more.

The Miz
Who the hell do you think you’re talking to? Show me some god damn respect! It’s people like you that make me feel sick to my stomach and people like you that show me none of the respect I have worked my ass off deserve that make me into a better superstar and disrespectful people like you that will be crying when I win tonight when in reality you’re the ones who created this unstoppable superstar. Let me just correct you on what you just said, I’m not cocky at all, I’m just confident. And how can you call Morrison one of the fastest up and coming superstars when you stood next to the fastest and the most up and coming superstar in this business because I am the most must see superstar in all of wrestling history and after tonight when I become the Intercontinental I will single handily boost up the ratings of this show and make this company more money than imaginable. And let me introduce you to another fact, I have competed for the biggest title in this company but the time just wasn’t right, so I’ve been given another chance to redeem myself and prove that right now is the time for The Miz to shine. So let that just be a quick review over why I will beat Morrison and why I am better than him, and before any of you can jump to any conclusions I will remind each and every one of you that I beat him without even breaking a sweat just a couple of weeks after enduring what was the lowest point in my career. And Aries? Pfft, don’t make me laugh. Just because he’s a better monkey than I and can climb walls quicker than me does not mean that he can beat me in the ring where my expertise lie. Another thing to remind everybody about was how Morrison beat Aries so technically I hold the higher ground walking into this matchup because if I’m able to beat Morrison it means I am also better than Aries. And one last thing, yes this isn’t your area to get involved in Matt so why don’t you keep your nose in your own business because my game plan is non-existent, I don’t need a game plan and you want to know why? Of course you do. I don’t need a game plan because my in ring ability and class will take me to victory because now is my time to shine and I will grasp the opportunity because I truly believe that right now is my time.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Gp9p6kx

Matt Striker
Well Miz, I’m finding it hard to put this into words for you, but quite frankly its evident to us all that your under estimating your opponents tonight and it could come back to bite you.

The Miz
You know, your unreal Matt. You want me to prove just how confident I am, I know that I will win tonight that if by some strange reason Austin Aries wins I will quit XWL and walk out on everything.

Matt Striker
So you will quit if Austin Aries wins but not if John Morrison’s wins?

The Miz
Well we if we break it down and when I win tonight, Morrison’s career will be over because he will also go on to lose in the Money In The Bank match, he will either die out slowly or walk out on his own free will. But Austin Aries? Well he was never anything in the first place so he will be no worse off, so I’m not going to just lie my contract on the line if Aries wins, if, excuse me *cough* when I win, Austing Aries will be fired.

Matt Striker
So what your saying here is that if Austin Aries wins tonight you will legally be fired from XWL?

The Miz
Yes.

Matt Striker
And if you win Austin Aries is to be fired?

The Miz
Correct.

Matt Striker
Well surely this needs to looked over by the GM but if you have internally agreed to this the I guess there’s not much we can do.But you have made your point, your are confident and believe that you will win tonight, thankyou for you time.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 C8OszMe

The Miz then winks at the camera before seen walking down the corridor backstage and into his dressing room ahead of his big match tonight.

XWL’s greatest show of the year Final Stand returns to action with an image of Austin Aries sat on the apron climbing into the ring ahead of the Intercontinental triple threat elimination match.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Austin-aries_display_image

He climbs into the ring and poses receiving a shower of boo’s from what is a lively audience in Atlanta Georgia. Aries then continues to showboat as he climbs onto two of the turnbuckles posing each time until he is interrupted as The Miz’ theme blasts around the arena.

Jerry Lawler
Well I have to admit guys, this is a match I have been looking forward to for about a month now! Each of these guys claim they have what it takes to avoid two eliminations and walk out of here holding the prestigious Intercontinental championship!

Michael Cole
Your right King, this is a match I think everybody has been looking forward to because to be quite frank with everybody, each of these men has been talking a great deal of smack about each other for a while now! Morrison claims that Miz isn’t a threat and chokes when it comes to stepping up his game in title matches, Aries believes that Morrison will be blinded by his opportunity later tonight in the Money In The Bank ladder match and let that get into his head, whereas the Miz just simply believes he’s the best superstar there is and believes now is his time to shine!

Jim Ross
I think you guys have forgotten to mention how each of these competitors all hold a victory over each other, let me just take you back to last month where it all started and Austin Aries dominated the Miz in a steel cage match and managed to climb out technically without a mark on his body without even breaking a sweat!

Michael Cole
Now now JR, as the Miz has said plenty of times over this past month he has not been pinned or submitted since November and quite frankly I’m on his side that Austin Aries proved nothing that PPV except he can climb a wall better than he can.

Jim Ross
As I was saying, Austin Aries defeated the Miz last month inside a steel cage match just a few weeks prior to that when the Miz was coming off what was the biggest defeat in his career against Chris Jericho and John Morrison was victorious over Austin Aries just a few weeks ago. So in my personal opinion I think with the most recent victory of the three I believe John has the best chance here tonight as he’s going with a huge boost.

Jerry Lawler
I have to disagree JR and agree with Austin Aries, John’s going to have so much going on in his mind tonight that I don’t think he has what it takes to deal with the pressures of not just defending his title against one man, but two!

Michael Cole
Well I disagree with both of you, the Miz has not lost in almost 5 months! Thats a heck of a long time to go undefeated. And being the man holding the victory over the current champ I believe he has what it takes to win and he will come out on top.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 LXXB5IN

The Miz struts down from the ramp and does his signature pose as he looks on confidently at the audience who seem disappointed in his confident attitude.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 OPwhXU5

He carries on down to the ring and then slides onto the apron in his usual fashion then gets onto his feet and hops into the ring. He then slowly climbs in staring down at Aries the whole time. They both exchange a few words before the Miz climbs onto the apron and raises his hands into the air and signals to everybody in the audience that the title is his.

Jerry Lawler
Well here we go! Heres the champ! Lets get this match on the road!

Jim Ross
Well you’re right King. Here comes the champ and he looks fired up to say the least. This match is defiantly going to be one for history books and the match hasn’t even started yet.

Michael Cole
Your both right I have to admit it! All three of these men look fired up and their heads most defiantly in the game! Boy, I can’t wait for this one.

John Morrison giving out high fives and handshakes to the front row of the sold out arena in Atlanta, Georgia when he is blindsided by the Miz who has slid outside the ring and is seen charging up the ramp and towards John Morrison!

The Miz has ditched Austin Aries who stands confused in the ring and Morrison catches Miz running towards him and quickly removes his long coat and title but not quick enough! The Miz has grabbed Morrison by both his legs and taken him down and is hammering left and rights into the skull of the champion! He’s looking relentless and Austin Aries still stands tall in the ring laughing and taunting to the audience that his work is being done for him. Meanwhile Morrison manages to squirm his way on top of the Miz and is returning the favour with harsh left and rights reigning down into the skull of the Miz. An on looking Aries is still standing in the ring and decides to take a seat on the second rope in the corner of the ring and watch on. Morrison is still going heavy when the Miz manages to fight him of and get to his feet where both men have a handful of the others hair while striking with their other hand. Both men seem unwilling to give in until Morrison kicks Miz in the stomach and then pulls back and strikes Miz hard in the face knocking him to the ground.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 JouqYZO

Michael Cole
I can’t believe this! Both men are going to be worn out before this match even starts!

Jerry Lawler
This is a smart tactic by Austin Aries, sit back and let the other two men tire themselves out then when they eventually get back into the ring he can strike.

Jim Ross
Well let me just point out to everybody that this match still hasn’t started. The match will officially start when the bell rings when all three competitors are inside the ring.

Jerry Lawler
Let me just add to that as well JR that this can’t be a smart move on behalf of the Miz he’s going to tire himself out before the match starts and most likely end up getting himself eliminated!

Morrison picks up Miz and drags him by the back of the head looking to throw him back into the ring but before he can Austin Aries looks like he has had enough of watching and suicide dives threw the ropes and takes out both men who lie flat outside the ring with the match still not officially started. Aries stands up and begins to stomp away at Morrison and then stomp away at Miz, and picks up the Intercontinental champion and tosses him into the steel steps shoulder first and he lies there in pain holding his shoulder. As Aries turns around Miz catches him off guard with a clothesline knocking him onto his back. He lifts his arm in the arm and begins to stamp on Aries’ stomach and sits on his back wrenching his face back with his fingers in the eyes of Aries. The referee seems to have no control over this match that he has now taken it into his own hands to stand outside the ring and is just inches away from Miz and Austin shouting “get back in the ring you three or that’s it I will have to cancel the match!” Still taking no notice an aggressive Miz’s attack is soon broke up as John Morrison is on his feet and charges down and kicks Miz hard in the back of the head. Miz could well be knocked out cold as Morrison apologises to ref and picks up Austin Aries and shoves him into the ring, the referee follows and signals Morrison to take Miz into the ring as well. Doing so Miz and Aries are inside the ring and John Morrison is on the apron so close to the match officially starting until Arise bounces off the second rope and lands a perfect dropkick on the jaw of Morrison sending him tumbling to the outside. The referee still standing in confusion goes to signal for the bell but still officially can’t start the match because all three men are not in the ring. Aries takes advantage of the Miz by picking up his lifeless body who still looks to be half conscious from the big kick to the back of the head he received from Morrison just moments ago. Aries has Miz in the corner and delivers three huge chops one after the other knocking the Miz down to lying down on his back. Aries wastes no time at all and begins to stomp down over and over again until the Miz rolls out of the ring and onto the outside mats. Aries. pumped up begins to shout out at his two opponents ‘get back in the ring I’ve had enough of this’.

Aries starts to shout at the ref telling him to do his job meanwhile John Morrison is back up to his feet along with Miz outside the ring who grabs him by the back of the neck and throws him halfway up the ramp sending him tumbling over. Austin Aries looks on in disbelief as the fight continues up to the top of the ramp with Miz and John Morrison giving each other all they’ve got until Miz kicks the champ in the gut and hits a front suplex on the steel ramp. Both men lie down in pain but Morrison certainly looks like the worst off in this bout. Miz is the first one up and looks out into the audience as he runs with Morrison by his side and quickly stops in his tracks and arm drags Morrison off the stage onto the concrete floor! Morrison looks in a really bad way and things look to be getting a lot worse when Austin Aries slides from underneath the ring and runs up the ramp towards the Miz who responds with a big boot to the face of Aries!

Jerry Lawler
This is beyond a joke now, the match hasn’t even officially started and these guys have been going at it for the best of ten minutes and I really fear for the state of John Morrison at this time!

Jim Ross
I have to agree with you King. At first this showed us all just how much anger these guys have been building up over the past few weeks but these athletes are starting to look really worn down and in a bad shape already. Somebody needs to go out and tell them that this is a wrestling match not a street fight! I’ve been in this company the five years it’s been running and never in my whole XWL career have I seen a start to a match quite like this one.

Michael Cole
What are you two talking about! This is the greatest start to a match in XWL history! Your quite right JR, never have we ever seen a start to a match like this one so we should appreciate the aggression shown by all three of these men and the determination shown to eliminate the other before the match has even started.

Miz seems to be the one in control of the match at this moment in time and continues to dominate when he picks up Aries and pushes him up against the security barrier and begins to chop Aries in revenge for earlier. Aries tries to walk away holding his reddened chest but Miz is having none of it and pulls him back but this time lifting him up and dropping him onto his ribs on the barrier. Aries screaming in pain doesn’t stop Miz from continuing his onslaught as he hits his head of the barrier leaving Aries on the ramp. From inside the ring the referee still stands defenceless and confused on how to officiate the match as all regulations seem to be out of the window already. The Miz begins to walk over to where Morrison is still lay out and picks him to his feet. Morrison showing signs of life pushes the Miz away with a hand in his face and uses this as leverage to step up off the concrete floor and onto the entrance stage of the ramp but before he can fully stand up Miz gets a hold of his arm and pulls Morrison down onto his stomach and follows it up by lifting him by his hair and slams his head down hard onto the stage.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 JHPF8Aj

Morrison is lay flat out as the Miz climbs up and hovers over him and begins to trash talk to him about how he’s going to be the new champion until Aries comes running from the centre ramp and leaps over the gap leaping a good 6 foot and hits Miz with a diving clothesline. All three men lie flat out and although the match has still not officially started the audience seem to be enjoying the show and are going wild during the events of this match. Aries is the first to be back on his feet and picks up the Miz and points to his face shouting to him ’you’re fired when this is over and I’m the new champ!’, then follows up with a disrespectful slap to the face and as he stumbles back Aries garbs him and looks to irsh whip him in the opposite direction before putting a quick knee out sending the Miz tumbling over his knee onto his back and the sound echo’s around the arena as skin hit hard onto steel. Aries points at the ring which receives a mix of cheers and boo’s but the boo’s are soon drowned out by cheers as Morrison is up and behind Aries who turns around to eat a superkick right on the jaw. Morrison does’ his signature pose then picks up Miz and tosses him into Final Stand sign.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Ms61Ytz

Miz’s head crashes off the side of the framework with a horrifying crash and lies lifeless on the ground. Aries is quick to react and tries to blindside Morrison with an elbow to back of Morrison’s head but he quickly ducks it and sends Aries crashing into the framework as well.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 3DCM1Vr

Jerry Lawler
My god did you see that! Morrison has just made Miz and Aries look like a pair of rag dolls as they lie lifeless on floor!

Michael Cole
Your right King! What fighting spirit the champ is showing us right now! He has this match just where he wants it.

Jim Ross
Well not exactly guys, your still forgetting how the match hasn’t even started yet, I have a feeling that this could be one of the shortest official matches in Final Stand history.

Michael Cole
Well either way this is most defiantly going down in history, I’m not quite sure anybody expected this match to start out the way it has done!

Both men lie on the floor as Morrison pulls his hair out of his face and taunts to the crowd who immediately respond in showers of cheers in response to his handy work. He lifts up Miz first who is showing very few signs of life as he trys to fight off Morrison to no avail, Morrison hits a couple of chops and follows up with a Japanese suplex throwing Miz halfway across the stage with a huge thud being heard throughout. Aries is back up not long after and spears Morrison onto the floor and begins to punch away pulling back on his hair as Morrison kicks and punches wildly in an attempt to recover. Miz still lay flat out opposite doesn’t show much signs of life but is quickly joined by Aries as Morrison fights his way to his feet and knees Aries in the gut and lands a vicious DDT as Aries looks to be cut open as his head hit hard on the steel ramp. As both men are down everybody looks on in confusion but soon begin to realise just what John Morrison is doing as he begins to climb the who statue of the W in XWL and lets out a cheer and his signature pose as the audience go electric!

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 4olEtpX

Jerry Lawler
Don’t do it John! You have an important match later tonight and this could end your career if you do this wrong!

Jim Ross
Come on John just think about this! King has a point you have a very important match later tonight and I don’t think this is the risk you should be taking!

Michael Cole
Are you guys nuts! Go on John jump!

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 KnlgJ8f

John Morrison hits a shooting star press onto both Aries and Miz taking them both out as the audience goes crazy! All three men look to be knocked out and the medical team come rushing out. A few minutes later Aries is the first one up who ushers them away and drags Morrison by his hair all the way down the ring. Miz is in hot pursuit as he limps and stumbles just behind his two opponents, Aries rolls Morrison into the ring and follows up behind him and goes for a cover. The referee won’t allow it until the match has started and as Aries looks up at him in anger the Miz slides into the ring and the bell finally rings!DING DING DING. But before Aries can go for another cover the Miz bounces off the ropes and hits a hard knee to the side of Austin’s skull and follows it up with a swinging neck breaker and quickly covers.

Kickout.
Morrison has rolled over under the ropes and uses them to help him up onto his feet and stumbles into the corner. As he turns around Miz charges into the corner and jumps towards him in his signature fashion but Morrison rolls out of the way and leaves the Miz hung up on the second rope but not for long as he jumps of the second rope and lands a springboard enziguri right onto the jaw of the Miz. Morrison is on his feet but before he is able to capitalize on his actions Aries is quickly on his case and starts to deliver rights hands until he is in the corner. Aries turns around and walks into the middle of the ring and then charges down and lands a dropkick into the ribs of the Intercontinental champion. As he Austin gets back to his face the Miz is stumbling up against the ropes so Aries changes his sights to Miz and walks over and grips him by the back of the head and follows up with a knee straight to the face of Miz. Taken back by this Miz leans against the ropes and it isn’t long until Aries runs at him and with a deadly clothesline and takes him to the outside of the ring. Aries looking impressed with his work and seemingly in control of the match again turns his attention to Morrison and delivers stomps before picking him up to his feet and dragging him to the centre of the ring, Morrison begins to fight back with punches to the stomach of Aries to much delight of the audience. But this is abruptly stopped when Aries delivers a big knee to his gut followed up by a hip toss and holds him in a tight side headlock. He tightens the hold and asks the ref to ask Morrison if he wants to give up. Morrison tells the referee no and the claps from the audience begin to get louder and louder as they cheer on Morrison as he finally makes his way to his feet and begins to elbow Aries and fights off his grip. As Morrison looks to be getting a little momentum the Miz is back in the ring and takes him down with a leg chop. Morrison is down and Aries and Miz look at each other and nod, they then pick up Morrison and push him into the corner and begin to work as a team taking out the champion. Aries signals Miz to place Morrison on the top rope and he does so, following him up the Miz looks as though he’s setting up for a superplex.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 FM88wzh

Jerry Lawler
Now this is just plain unfair! This is a triple threat match not a handicap match! Ref do your job and step in there!

Michael Cole
Oh please King, there not treating it like a handicap match there simply being smart about it, eliminating the champ first means that no matter what somebody new will be taking home the gold and I think both Austin and the Miz would rather each other take home the title rather than having Morrison retain.

Jim Ross
Well you know what Cole does have a point, but I think we should all remember how Morrison when the special guest referee took care of both of these men single handily. And the following week they couldn’t get the job done in an official handicap match so I wouldn’t rule the champ out just yet guys.

Jerry Lawler
Your right JR, Morrison has been up against the ropes against both of these two before now and they ended up turning on each other so no doubt they will end up doing it again.

The Miz hits a perfect superplex! Both Miz and Morrison are lay out and Aries looks like he has an idea, he climbs to the top rope and issues Miz to get out of his way which he manages to do by rolling under the rope. Aries then hits his finishing 450 splash on a lifeless John Morrison. He goes for the cover and referee slides over and begins to count quickly.

Kickout.
The crowd explodes with cheers as the champion manages to kick out one of the deadliest finishers in pro wrestling. Aries looks on in shock and lifts up the carcass of the champ and signals over the Miz who stumbles over as Aries has a hold of Morrison arms behind his back while the Miz chops and strikes a defenceless Morrison. Aries hits a back suplex and stands over him as him and the Miz look quite pleased with their work. Aries and Miz share a few seconds of a stare down until Aries lifts up Morrison and signals to outside the ring. The Miz and Aries then throw whats let of the Intercontinental champ outside the ring and just as Aries turns around and looks to climb out onto the outside the Miz rolls him up for the quick cover!

The Miz grabs hold of the ropes for extra leverage on the pinfall!
3!!

Austin Aries has been eliminated by the Miz!!

Jerry Lawler
Now come on! Thats not fair it should be the other way around. C’mon ref you must of seen that! He’s a cheat he should be eliminated!

Michael Cole
Now don’t jump on his back! He did what he had to do and if you ask me the Miz was very smart then! Just like he was when he used the chair to earn himself a spot in this match tonight! Now just face the facts that where either going to have the Miz as our new champ or Morrison will retain. But I think we all know which one it will be!

Jim Ross
Wait hold on guys! Somethings happening in the ring!

Austin Aries looks on in disbelief while the Miz is leant against the second rope with a huge grin across his face. The ref puts his hand to his ear where there’s an earpiece and he looks on to the time keeper and signals that Austin Aries to be reinstated into the match! The crowd gives a mix signal but I think the cheers are for the shocked look on the Miz’s face and because John Morrison has finally made it to his feet. Austin Aries looks on at the Miz with a face filled with anger and runs at his opponent but the Miz is one step ahead and sends him tumbling to the outside by pulling down the top rope. Morrison looks on at Aries who lies on the outside and then to the Miz who has his back to him on the inside of the ring. Morrison jumps up onto the apron then runs towards the turnbuckle and waits for the Miz to turn around, as he does so Morrison leaps of the top rope with the intention of landing a crossbody but the Miz cleverly falls onto his back and rolls away avoiding the impact. Morrison slowly gets to his feet shaking off his head as he seems a little dazed, the Miz stalks him from behind and as soon as he gets to his feet the Miz grabs his opponent from behind looking to hit his finishing move.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 GK3Priv

The Miz hits it! Morrison looks to be knocked out cold and isn’t moving, he rolls him over and covers the outside leg.

Aries breaks up the pin! Morrison looked out for the count but Austin Aries breaks up the pin and begins to hammer away at the Miz as he shouts in his face ‘you want to double cross me do you!’

Jerry Lawler
I don’t get it! The Miz had the champ down and out and Aries just broke it up when it would off given him a better chance at the title but he let his anger get the better of him.

Jim Ross
I know I don’t quite get it either JR, but it looks as though Aries was unhappy with how the Miz almost eliminated him and now is getting his revenge on him.

Michael Cole
Well don’t forget how before this match the Miz and Austin Aries put their contracts on the line if the other wins so that would of secured all possibilities of having a new champion and one of these two would of been fired!

Jerry Lawler
Yeah and now Morrison still has the chance to retain his championship and then both the Miz and Austin Aries will keep their contracts right?

Jim Ross
Absolutely King, but I still think that this move from Aries will come back to bite him but I guess only time will tell.

Austin Aries continues to hammer away at The Miz for breaking up their seemlingy new alliance, but it all proved to be nothing but a front as soon as Miz turned his back on Aries. Aries tosses Miz over the top rope but Miz lands on the apron. Miz dodges a punch from Aries and connects with a right hand to the face. He walks over to the turnbuckle and climbs it, it looks as if The Miz is going for the axe handle. Slowly but surely, the most-see XWL superstar stands up on the apron and as soon he stands high and tall, Austin Aries already tackles the ropes, causing The Miz to lose his balance and fall right on the turnbuckle.

Jerry "The King" Lawler
Not the family jewels! He's certainly going to need an ice pack.

Aries hits Miz with a series of shots to the heads before backing up all the way to the turnbuckle adjacent to Miz. Austin charges towards Miz but out of nowhere, John Morrison hits Aries with a vicious superkick to the side of his jaw, knocking Aries to the ground. Morrison then walks over to the ring ropes near to Miz, hops onto the top rope, carefully balances, and jumps off onto The Miz and hits a super huricanrana. The crowd lets out a holy shit chant to the great action they are seeing tonight. Morrison doesn't just stop there, he drags Aries on top of the Miz, stomach to stomach, he runs and jumps over and hits a springboard moonsault on both men. The Intercontinental Champion grabs his stomach in pain, and both Miz and Aries roll around in pain, Morrison drags himself over to the Miz in hope to secure the first elimination

Kickout by the Miz. Morrison looks up in disbelief, Miz isn't just going to give up. Morrison crawls over to Aries and tries to get the cover. Austin Aries kicks out and keeps up this tenacious show. John Morrison slaps the mat in disbelief, he swore that he would've had at least The Miz or Austin Aries down for the count, however, that theory proved to be wrong. Morrison looks at the official and shows him three fingers, he says "I had the three count! It was three!". Morrison rolls Aries onto his stomach and picks him up by the head. The champ drags Aries over to the turnbuckle and starts to lay it on Aries, fist after fist after fist, John just isn't going to stop fighting. Morrison moves back a bit and hits a step up enziguri kick to the head of Austin Aries, something we don't see in his repertoire very often. Aries falls to the ground on his back and he's in the perfect position for the Starship Pain. Morrison looks back at Aries on the ground and intiates the Starship Pain. John jumps up but before he can actually bounce off, out of nowhere, The Miz pushes Morrison to the outside and Morrison crashes hard!

Jim Ross
BAHH GAWD! Is he alright?!?

Michael Cole
Do you think he's alright? Don't ask dumb questions JR that you already know the answer to. Of course he's not alright, but if he really wants to win this match, he'll have to get back into this.

Jerry Lawler
He looks pretty much out of it. We could pretty much have a new Intercontinental Champion right here, right now, in the Georgia Dome.

With Morrison seemingly out for now, Miz hangs over the ropes to catch his breath and look at Morrison. The camera closes up on him showing Miz breathing heavily and smiling at the fact that he could very well have this match in the grasps of his hands. Miz does his signature pose to mass boos from the crowd, as soon as he turns, Miz gets with a vicious dropkick to the face by Austin Aries. Austin Aries tries to go for the cover but he's unsuccessful as Miz crawls under the ropes. Austin Aries is on pursuit as he follows The Miz, he spins the Miz around and hits him with a right hook to the face, causing the Miz to fall onto the barricade. Aries picks Miz face up and slams it down on the barricade as fans try their best to touch some of XWL finest superstars.

Austin Aries then grabs Miz by the back of the head and heads over to the steel steps, banging Miz's head on it continously as the crowd chants a number for each time he slams his head, 1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! 7! 8! 9! Before Aries can slam Miz's head down a tenth time, Miz stops it in place, elbows Aries in the stomach twice in a row until Aries releases his grip. Miz charges at Aries and hits him with a clothesline to the neck, sending Aries to the mat. Miz starts hammering away at Aries with kicks, over and over, he picks Aries up and irish whips him to the barricade corner. Miz runs towards Aries and knees him in the stomach, dropping Aries to the ground. By this time, Aries isn't looking too good, he's holding his stomach in pain with his head rested on the barricade. The Miz walks over to Austin Aries and tosses him into the ring. Miz goes for the cover. . .

Thr. . .

Kickout by Austin Aries and Miz can't believe it all. The Miz questions himself as to why Austin Aries is still in this. Miz picks Aries up quickly and spins Aries around around. He goes for the backbreaker/neckbreaker combination but only gets the backbreaker part as Aries somehow turns around, kicks Miz in the gut and hits a vicious DDT.

Jim Ross
And now the tides are certainly changing, The Miz is no longer in control.

Michael Cole
C'mon Miz, Aries, one of you get up and win this match.

Jerry Lawler
But what is this? Look at this guys!

The camera closes up to around the announce table area where John Morrison was laid out. However, despite previously being out of it, John Morrison begins to show some life. Morrison slowly raises up to all fours, hurt from being thrown out the ring by surprise. He stands up on one knee as the crowd cheers him on, chanting Morrison! Morrison! Morrison! John fianlly gets up to his two feet but is bent over, possibly using this as a method to recover. The champ limps around to the ring apron closest to the aisle, holding his right arm. He lifts the and searches under the ring, what exactly could he be searching for? After a while, John finally takes out a kendo stick and raises it, as the crowd chants ECW! ECW! a company formely known for it's extremeness. Morrison slides into the ring and slaps the kendo stick on the ground one time as The Miz is surprisingly getting up first. Morrison strikes Miz right in the stomach as he gets up, making a huge echo, he then strikes him in the back as Miz begins to turn red.

Jerry Lawler
What vicious shots by John Morrison. The champion, despite having competed earlier tonight, is not giving up.

Michael Cole
He'd really be the biggest loser tonight, losing not only the Money In The Bank but his Intercontinental Champion.

Jim Ross
I wouldn't exactly call him a loser if he lose. John Morrison showed true heart and determination by coming out here and defending his title, despite being hurt in Money In The Bank. I think this makes him a fighting champion.

Jerry Lawler
I agree JR, couldn't have said it better.

Michael Cole
Your opinions never matter, stop wasting your breath.

Morrison hits Miz one last time before heading back out the ring to look under the ring apron. What could he be looking for this time? After a couple minutes of searching, Morrison takes out a nice wooden table and slides it in the ring, doing the same to himself. Morrison picks up Miz and hits him with his signature backbreaker/russian leg sweep before fliping over back to his feet. He does his signature pose over the Miz before going for his signature dancing leg drop, dropping his leg right on the neck of The Miz. Morrison walks over to the table as Miz holds his neck in pain. The champ puts the table into place but before he can actually pick Miz up, Austin Aries hits Morrison with a huge lariat sending to the champ down to the ground. Aries drags the body of Morrison close to the ring ropes and climbs outside onto the apron. He pulls down on the ropes a bit to get a good grip and he hits a slingshot corkscrew splash on Morrison. Aries, confidently in control now, heads over to the Miz and hits a vicious pendulum elbow to midsection, almost knocking all the life out of the Miz. Morrison crawls to his knees and is crawling towards Aries but before he can do much, Austin Aries hits him a stinging kick to the face, with the echo being heard all around the Georgia Dome. Aries goes for the cover on John Morrison. . .

1!
2!
Thre. . .

But no elimination as John Morrison fights to kick out of that count. Frustrated, Aries starts to continously kick John Morrison over and over, there isn't much the referee can do either since this match is no disqualification. Aries fianlly lays off of John Morrison and heads over The Miz, he picks him up from the ground but Miz breaks the hold and send Aries into the turnbuckle. Miz charges at Aries and hits his signature clothesline, as the camera closes up on less lively but still cocky Miz. Miz rolls out of the ring and heads to the timekeeper area. He tells Lillian Garcia to get up and he takes her chair from her. Miz closes the chair and heads back into the ring to Aries. Miz stalks Aries from the back and waits for him to get up. When Austin does get up, Miz hits him with a chair shot to the gut, causing Aries to drop to his knees, Miz drops the chair on the ground, and performs a Snap DDT onto the chair!

Jerry Lawler
What a move! There's no way Aries can get back up from that.

Michael Cole
I might have to agree with you this one time, King. Aries may be done for, he could've suffered a concussion.

Although Miz could have covered Aries at this point, he decides to walk over to Morrison who has found his way to the turnbuckle. Miz runs at him with a chairshot but he ducks out of the way. Miz then turns around into a pele kick to the chair, which causes the chair to richochet and hit Miz in the head. Morrison heads to the outside and gets a chair from under the ring and comes back in the ring. He drags Miz's body at a perfect distance from the turnbuckle to hit Starship Pain. Before he sets up Starship Pain, he places not one but two chairs on the torso of the Miz. John walks over to the turnbuckle, assured that what happened last time won't happen again, jumps up, bounces off the ropes, and hits Starship Pain onto the Miz, with the Miz feeling more pain because of the chairs placed on him, but Morrison also feeling the effects too. Morrison rolling around in a pain gets a hold of himself, crawls over to the Miz, and puts one hand on the Miz to cover him. . .

Three!

The Miz has been eliminated by the John Morrison!!

Jerry Lawler
We have out first elimination!

Michael Cole
No! No! No! Miz was supposed to kick out. This isn't fair.

Jim Ross
The Miz has been eliminated by the Intercontinental Champion, John Morrison. John Morrison can still retain his title tonight in what was just a triple threat match but now is a singles match.

Jerry "The King" Lawler
We could still have a new champion or John Morrison could very well retain his title tonight. But I'd like to commend Miz on a job well done, however this could be his last match should Austin Aries win this match.

Jim Ross
Right King, Miz and Aries made an agreement earlier on tonight putting their contracts on the line, should either man win. However, both are good talent, I'd like to see both men stay.

With Miz out of the picture, this match has just turned into a singles match and either man can win at this point, will it be Austin Aries or the reigning Intercontinental Champion, John Morrison. John Morrison pulls himself by the ropes and stands up in the turnbuckle with his back turned into Aries. He lays over the turnbuckle to rest a bit, however the crowd gets louder and louder not only with cheers but also to warn John Morrison that Aries is hot on his pursuit. As John turns around, Aries charges towards him and hits him with an I.E.D to the head. Morrison drops down to the second rope, Aries takes his head, lifts Morrison up into the suplex position and holds Morrison up in the air and drops down and hits a Brainbuster! The crowd lets out a series of boos as Aries pops up from the crowd and poses.

Jerry "The King" Lawler
Aww man, this could really be it for John Morrison. His title reign might just be over, he's competed in two matches tonight, I don't know if he can do this.

Jim Ross
First Money In The Bank and now this match, Morrison could really be hurt after tonight.

Michael Cole
Poor Morrison, cry cry cry, he's going to lose his title tonight, big deal.

Jim Ross
Do you ever show compassion Cole? Do you even know what the word means?

Shockingly Aries doesn't just stop here, he picks Morrison up by the head and takes him over to the table that Morrison set up earlier. Aries hops up on the turnbuckle facing the fans first, laughing at all the fans with John Morrison and The Miz t-shirts and signs, probably because it looks like he's going to be the new Intercontinental Champion. Most of the crowd boos Aries, little cheer for him, and he sinks it all in. Right before he's about to turn around to end this match, he sees The Miz walking around to the back. He looks at him and smirks as Miz says nothing. Aries knows that the career of the Miz is in his hands, he could end it now, a minute from now, at this point he could end it whenever he wanted to with the state Morrison is in. Aries points at the Miz, who stops, and says "Your career is over" and does a cutthroat gesture. Aries turns around and signals for the 450 splash. Aries jumps off and goes for the 450 splash, but John Morrison moves out of the way causing Aries to crash right through the table! Morrison pulls himself up by the ropes and looks at the bullet he just dodged. John goes to pick Aries up, who has wood splinters all over him, drags him into the center of the ring by his head, and hits a Moonight Drive on the already weakened Aries. He goes for the cover as the crowd chants along with the referee's count. . .

Austin Aries has been eliminated by John Morrison!

Lillian Garcia
Here is your winner and still the Intercontinental Champion, John Morrison!

Jerry "The King" Lawler
John Morrison did it! He retained!

Jim Ross
Not only that King, but he defeated both Austin Aries and The Miz, two great talents. After eliminating The Miz, he eliminated Austin Aries, despite how close Aries was.

Michael Cole
I'll commend Morrison, he took both men out, but I'd still like to think that Austin Aries would've been champ right now had he not been so cocky and busy showboating The Miz.

Jim Ross
Who knows Cole, for all we know, Morrison could've been playing possum the whole time. Maybe Aries did have it, we'll never know.

Jerry "The King" Lawler
All I know that this match was a brawl from the beginning to end. All these men put their bodies on the line to entertain these fans tonight. This just proves that at Final Stand, everyone brings out their A-game.

Jim Ross
I agree Cole, this match was a slobber knocker, took this match a while to get started up because of all the animosity between all these men. I just hope all these men get some good rest and heal their bodies.

John Morrison has retained his title at the grandest stage of them all despite competing in a Money In The Bank Ladder Match earlier on against the likes of Christian, Dolph Ziggler, and Dean Ambrose. Despite coming up short in that match, he walks out still the Intercontinental Champion, and Miz and Aries can gladly thank him for allowing neither man to win. Now that Morrison has retained, who will be his next opposition? We'll find out in the coming weeks, but for now XWL heads to a video package of Ted DiBiase as Morrison lifts his title in the air, showing all the pain, sweat, and tears he's been through.

**Final Stand fades to the backstage area where Wade Barrett can be seen with his newly won championship on his shoulders**

Interviewer
Wade, Tonight you were able to overcome Ezekiel Jackson in a brutal Last Man Standing match to win your first championship since returning to XWL late last year. Obviously you suffered a great deal of damage during that match, but can you describe for us what it is that you’re feeling right now?

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 TCaHajY

Wade Barrett
Earlier tonight I put Ezekiel Jackson through hell; I smashed a camera against his skull. I demolished him, But more than that I made an example out of him. He only has himself to blame after all he decided of his own accord to interrupt my championship celebration that I decided to hold after showing the whole world just how strong their champion was. He interfered in my business and he paid for it. He thought that just because he had a title shot coming up, That I would just lay down and let him take it from me. He made a costly mistake, One I don’t think he’ll be making again anytime soon.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 MkrcF0o

Interviewer
Now that you’ve won the United States championship and have gone from being the hunter to the hunted, What’re you going to do to keep all the superstars on the XWL roster that want a piece of you at bay?

Wade Barrett
Why would I even want to keep those moronic fools away? Sure they might want to fight me, They might want this championship, But at the end of the day they’ll be lying flat on their back wondering what the hell happened in the middle of the ring. The men that’ll be coming after me from now on, They’re little more than rabid dogs. I mean just take a look at the two top contenders, Sheamus is a guy that needs to resort to engaging in brawls inside pubs and hasn’t done anything even remotely impressive recently and Cesaro? All he’s done is get a lucky victory in the three way against myself and Rob Van Dam only to get injured the very next week by Chris Jericho. His period of time with that championship, Which I’m not even going to call a championship reign out of respect for what this belt used to be was even more disgusting than Hardy’s.

Thanks you for your time and good luck on your championship run.

As Final stand moves on from Wade Barrett we go to a door as the camera slowly moves up showing the nameplate of the sleazy one himself, Joey Ryan. A cameraman slowly knocks on the door and pushes it open to show Joey Ryan oiling himself up while listening to his entrance music, rather loudly. As the door opens he turns and notices the cameraman

Joey Ryan
Hey!...Hey! What are you doing? Can’t you see Joey Ryan is getting ready for the main event!

Cameraman
Joey sorry I was just hoping I could get a few words before you go out there…

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 FFOJm

Joey Ryan
You want to interview Joey Ryan? Why not! Joey Ryan is the man of the night. Joey Ryan is the man who is going to be walking out of Final Stand with the world heavyweight championship for the second time in his career and once again the title is back where it belongs around this sexy, sleazy waist. How’s about you just hold that camera and allow Joey Ryan to do what he does best and keep the crowd entertained. Have everyone with my name in mind and make an impact. Joey Ryan is a man who really cannot be compared too in this company. Just look and even Chris Jericho didn’t have as much of a successful year as I did. I beat a lot of legends, I put people out of work and I won titles. I made history, I defeated legends and most importantly I did exactly what I needed to do to make an impact.

Cameraman
Wel-

Joey Ryan
What did I just tell you? Shut up and keep that camera rolling. Now tonight let me tell you all a little story. Joey Ryan is the man who is ending the show. The closing act, the man who everyone is going to be looking at to make an impact. I am going against Chris. A man who has had to come out each week as a duty to that title. I’ve appreciated I’ve managed to have a little break recently because after carrying XWL on my shoulders since the day I got here it was nice but now it’s time for Joey Ryan to take back my crown and go back to the top of the food chain. You see Joey Ryan dosen’t disappoint and when I set goal everyone knows I hit them. Joey Ryan is a living legend and a man who constantly beats the odds. Chris I understand you’re the favourite going into this match, you’re the man who’s been around here for years, you excel in matches like this. This is your stage.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 BIUSo

Joey Ryan
But you need to realise just one thing. This is my one chance to prove I can do this. Joey Ryan is going all out with nothing to lose. I don’t have a title on the line. If I lose I can just go back and fight for another shot. If you lose you lose all your credibility. You cannot call yourself the best in the world. You cannot call yourself a legend and you cannot claim to be the best at what you do and most importantly you will lose that world heavyweight championship. Probably the only thing that’s mentally keeping you here. We can all tell your body cannot do what you used too. You’re not the same Jericho who debuted when I was just in my teens in the ‘90’s. I’m younger, faster, stronger and willing to do anything it takes to win.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 NIPT2

Joey Ryan
Chris, you are going against a man with MOVIE STAR GOOD LOOKS! You are going against a man with ROCKSTAR CHARISMA! You are going against a man who is soon going to be WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION and a man who is BRINGING SLEAZY BACK….to Final Stand V. Now if you excuse me, I’ll get back to preparing for this match.

The camera zooms out and as the cameraman heads to the door he turns and keeps the camera rolling through a small crack, Joey is unaware and goes about his normal business and looks for his sunglasses. As he picks them up out of his bag he sees a note, he looks confused and opens it before looking shocked and smiling to himself. He puts the note on the side and the camera zooms in, as it comes into focus it shows
“Hi Joey
Good luck in your match tonight
? xxx”

A few “ooooh’s” can be heard in the crowd as Joey now has a much more happier sense about him. The camera fades out to the next segment.

[King]: Jr thats win puts mickie and madison tied and winner of the next one will determine mickie's fate this has been one exciting match.

[Cole]: You can say that again. Looks like mickie is happy for that win. Look King shes celebrating it when shes supposed to be ready for the third match. She........... wait look at velvet what does she think shes doing.

Velvet slides into the ring and hits her finisher in yo face. She slides out the ring and gets a ladder and sets it up in the middle of the ring. With the defensive mickie down velvet goes out to help her friend madison. She gets up and in the ring. She starts to scale the ladder as mickie is starting to get to her feet. Madison moves quickly and starts to reach for the case. But mickie makes it to her feet and shoves the ladder over with all her might.

[JR]: She has done it guys she has beaten madison. Mickie stays on XWL and she is making her way to the divas championship.

Madison gets up and stalks mickie as she celebrates. Mickie hopes down from the turnbuckle and madison attacks her from behind droping mickie. They both start stomping her. Velvet tells madison to pick her up and madison does just that and tosses her to velvet. She goes for the In yo face

But before she can do that a fimiliar theme hits and velvets face goes blank and Angelina love appears on stage .

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Spear_zpsb266e8b8

Angelina rushes the ring as madison gets out in a hurry. Velvet tosses mickie and gets ready. Angelina slides in the ring and spears her. She starts landing blows with her right hand and angelina rolls off both divas get up and Velvet gets caught with a closeline.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 DCYMZ1F

Angelina lifts her up and hits her finisher break that bitch. Angelina picks up a chair and lays it down picking Velvet up. Puts her in a DDT Cluch and as Velvet comes to she pushes her off and rolls out heading up the ring. Angelina checks to see if mickie is ok and picks up a mic.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Spear_zps2ef9004f

[Angelina]: Where the hell do you think you two are going? Think you can just jump a defenseless diva. Especially one that is a very close friend to me and think you can get away with out me coming out here to stop you then your damn wrong. So how about you both get you asses back into this ring and we settle this like real divas. Because I've been waiting to get my hands on you long enough.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 Vi_zps5a3e2d6f

Vickie appears on stage

[Vickie]: Excuse me. I SAID EXCUSE ME!!!! Now Angelina I know you want to get your hands on a couple of my clients.

[Angelina]: Your damn right I do.

[Vickie]: Well that wont be tonight. You see the shows almost over as we head to our main event soon. But i do something for the two of you Mickie you can face Madison again and Angelina you can face Velvet but at Dead Mans Hand. But the only way your match wont be at your own risk you two have to win your matches Next week on Redemption and only then can you guys spin the roulette wheel. Mickie i haven't thought of a match for you yet but Angelina I've got just the match. You see i have been trying to get a match for Layla and paige and i just found there opponent you. But ill give you one choice now. You can choose your partner for you tag match. Now i have to get back to work cant wait to see who you choose plus the outcome.

Vickie, Velvet, and madison walk off as mickie and angelina look at each other and smile

*Chris Jericho retains!*

*Jericho breaks into a sly grin, as he acknowledges he has backed up everything he has said over the past 6 weeks on the grandest stage of them all. There can be no doubt in anyone's mind now, about exactly who is the better man between himself and Joey Ryan.*

[Justin Roberts]
The winner of this match... and STILL the World Heavyweight Champion....
CHRIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSS JERRRRRIIICHHHOOOOOOO!

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 TrSpjNt

*As Jericho's arm is raised in triumph by the match official, he is showered in the usual array of boos and jeers from the audience. They appear significantly louder than usual though, given how large the crowd is for this historic event.*

[Jim Ross]
Chris Jericho has done it! Despite Joey Ryan's best efforts, he has managed to pick up the victory and walk out still the World Heavyweight Champion!

[Michael Cole]
Just like he said he would JR! Chris Jericho is champion for a reason and after an impressive display like the one we just saw, who could possibly argue with his claim that he is the best in the world?

[Jerry "The King" Lawer]
That final Codebreaker in mid-air that put Joey Ryan away was a thing of a beauty! It was a fitting finish to this amazing Final Stand Pay-Per-View.

*Jericho barks orders at the referee to hand him his title. The referee quickly obliges, not to anger the champion, and hands the championship over. Jericho clutches it close to his chest like it is the most precious thing in the world. He breaks into a loving grin and screams "I told you Ryan! I told you!" as the crowd continues to boo the hell out of him.*

[Jim Ross]
What a night this has been folks. We have seen it all and-

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 XQKw80U

[Michael Cole]
What the?

*Suddenly, Jericho's celebrations are cut short as the menacing sound of the Men Of Honor's music begins to play. Jericho looks quite alarmed and turns his full attention to the stage. The two renegades appear looking as confident and calculating as ever, despite their respective losses on this night.*

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 GAQMEcQ

[Michael Cole]
That's... that's the Men Of Honor!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
What business do they have out here?

*Ambrose and Styles each eye up the World Heavyweight Champion and smirk before nodding to one another. Jericho's expression is one of confusion, concern and anger as he doesn't know what to think about them potentially eyeing him up as their next victim.*

[Jim Ross]
Well, this is interesting to say the least. The Men Of Honor certainly haven't had the greatest of nights, but they're definitely sending a message and making sure we remember them on this night with this interruption to Jericho's celebrations.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
Are they targeting Jericho and the World Heavyweight Championship?

[Jim Ross]
Who knows King. We've seen it all on this night. From bloodied divas, careers rejuvenated, title wins, title defenses, unbelievable matches... and now this. This night has had it all. This night truly has lived up to it's billing as the grandest stage of them all and the showcase of the immortals. It has been an honor and a privilege to sit here at ringside and watch it all unfold before my very eyes. We thank you all for tuning in around the world and helping to make this show as spectacular as it can be with your support. Be sure to join us tomorrow night live on the Redemption Supershow as we witness the fallout from this historic event. From all of us here... good night everybody.

XWL Final Stand V:   3/17/2013   -  3/24/2013 - Page 2 2Nlrysi

*The last image we see before Final Stand V comes to a close is Jericho sharing an intensity-filled stare with the Men Of Honor. The crowd are ravenous again at this point and have appeared to have found their electricity. There is no conflict between the three on this night however, but some sort of message has certainly been sent. The screen fades to black as the historic PPV comes to a close...*
