As Anarchy returns from a commercial break we see none other than the Wrestling God himself, JBL making his way through a backstage hallway. You can hear the crowd erupt boos as they see one of the most hated men on the roster. JBL ignored the sound and continues to turn corners without stopping to talk to anyone. Eventually, he stops at a door. The camera turns to show a plaque on the door, with the word “Cabinet” engraved. JBL grabs hold to the handle, twisting it, before stepping through the doorway into the room. Before him are all the members of the cabinet, each doing their own thing.
Brock Lesnar is wearing sweatpants and no shirt laying on a bench press machine. He’s “warming up” with 475 pounds. Barely breaking a sweat he pumps out reps, seeming as if effortless. Beside him sits Paul Heyman in a leather recliner is wearing a suit as usual. He is on his phone, tweeting and going through all of his and Brock’s social media accounts. Across the room is Aiden English. English Is standing in front of a TV watching an Opera of some sort. He sings along with the harmony before him. Virgil is making his way around the room, tidying up around the room, which is already spotless, yet he continues to do so. Matt Sydal is somewhere off to himself, sitting on the floor with his arms crossed like a child that's been forced to take a timeout. And finally As JBL steps into the room everyone’s attention changes as the sound of his booming voice bounces across the walls.
$JBL$ Listen Up! Now as you all know our plates are already full of this Anti-Cabinet Bull Shit, but now we have another problem to deal with. Last week one of our own, Chris Jericho was beaten in this very locker room by one Dean Ambrose, member of the Cabinet Wannabes. I wish I could say that luckily not too much harm was caused due to Matt Sydal interrupting this assault, but sadly that isn’t the case. Instead of helping his fellow associate, he wanted to have a debate with ole Dean about why they should or shouldn’t have a match that no one gives a damn about.
JBL shoots an intense, angry look towards Matt Sydal who just rolls his eyes. JBL moves on.
$JBL$ I would have thought that those fools would have learned not to mess with the Bull at Roulette, but it seems they want the horns. So let’s give it to em. Let's go find that son of a bitch an.....
Unable to bite his tongue any longer, Sydal quips back.
[Matt Sydal] Look I'll play "Cabinet" and wear your stupid costumes, but Dean's mine. I've had an issue with him and The Bullet Club long before you...so no, what you need to worry about is Eli Drake, Sami Zayn, and Bad News Barrett. You have your plate full, so I'll handle Dean, and I'll do it on my terms, which will be in 2 weeks at Breakthrough. Besides, if you ask me, you're better off without Chris Jericho, there's not enough room in this locker room for his ego, and yours.
Everyone looks back and forth between Matt Sydal and JBL, feeling the awkwardness of the interruption. JBL not seeming shocked that he was interrupted, I mean what can he expect? Matt Sydal is being forced to be a member of a group he doesn’t agree with.
$JBL$ First off, don’t you EVER interrupt me unless you want your next job to be asking “may I take your order”. And secondly when I say WE are going to do something that doesn’t mean you alone will attend to it. You had your chance to settle it yourself last week but what did you do? You watched, you talked, and you let him just walk away. That doesn’t fly with the Cabinet. So step your ass back in line, and do as I say unless you’d rather be wearing a tuxedo, cleaning our locker room, and taking the fall for us.
Virgil stops what he’s doing for a split second before shaking it off and continuing. Sydal however just continues to sit there, exhaling a deep sigh clearly uninterested in even being here right now.
$JBL$ Jericho was a valuable asset here in the Cabinet. He was a strong addition to our ranks, and now he’s in the hospital and the doctors aren’t sure if he will be able to recover. So I say we continue what WE finish what we started at Roulette. That son of a bitch Dean Ambrose has the audacity to attack us in our own locker room then thinks we will just forget about it? Well, he and the rest of the Bullet Club have a rude awakening coming. Now, who’s ready to whoop some lunatic ass!
Brock stands up off the bench as Paul Heyman stands and shakes JBL’s hand, showing that they agree. Aiden turns the TV off and takes a bow, agreeing in his own way. Virgil sets down his cleaning tools and nods his head. Sydal continues to sit in his corner and mumbles out "Did you really think he'd forget about Callihan?" Unable to take Sydal's sass any longer, JBL storms over to Sydal grabs him by the back of his neck like a child being scolded, then pulls him to his feet shoves him forward. It doesn't matter if he wants to join their crusade to find Dean tonight or not, he's going.
JBL leads them out the door and down through the hallway. As they turn the corners, members of the XWL crew and roster see them, obviously on a mission, and choose to turn and go the other way, not trying to be anywhere close to them. On their path, a few doors are “opened” by the muscle of the group, Brock Lesnar but to no luck of finding their target. They continue to make their way through the hallway until finally, they find what they might just need in Renee Young.
$JBL$ Where the hell is that son of a bitch.
{Renee Young} Wh.....
$JBL$ You know good and god damn well who. Dean Ambrose.
{Renee Young} I just saw him walk into the men’s restroom bu.....
$JBL$ Finally somewhat useful for once.
JBL leaves Renee in a shocked state as he and the rest of the Cabinet continue their way down the hall until finally, they make it to their final stop. JBL busts through the door to find Dean Ambrose talking to himself in the mirror. The members of the Cabinet flood in around him as he turns around to witness this.....situation. Dean raises his eyebrow as he looks over the Cabinet all around him.
[Dean Ambrose] I was gonna be done in like a second. It's not like you all had to storm in here. There aren't even enough stalls! Now if we could all form a nice neat li-
Before Dean can even finish he is abruptly cut off by the Wrestling God.
$JBL$ Shut the hell up you son of a bitch. I would say don’t play dumb, but I don’t think you’d be playing. Last week you commutes the crime of breaking and entering into our locker room, you committed the crime of assault on our associate Chris Jericho, and you committed the crime of having the audacity to ignore me and talk to the man I’ve taken under my wing instead.
Matt Sydal rolls his eyes.
$JBL$ My question to you is who the hell do you think you are? I could have your ass thrown out of this company with a snap of my fingers, leaving you with nowhere to go but the soup kitchen you probably already frequently attend. I could have you on the corner begging for money holding some bull shit sign saying “please help, homeless” but unlike all the liars out there you’d actually be telling the truth. I could have you using every bit of money you make to inject into your arm Under some shitty bridge in Ohio. You know these things to be true, yet you have the audacity to poke the bull with a stick anyways. Here’s a life lesson son. You mess with the bull, you get the hor.....

Dean thankfully stops and rolls his eyes

[Dean Ambrose] YOU started this Bradshaw. We were content to let you beat up on Sami and whoever else but you fired the first shot when you attacked my brother Sami Callihan. And what? Did you think I wouldn't do anything? Did you think I was such a coward that I'd just sit back and do absolutely nothing? Well I guess you were wrong because I struck back and beat the ever-loving shit out of Jericho. An eye for an eye. We're even. Maybe if you stayed out of my business then I wouldn't have to stomp a hole in your group's heads. And look what you're doing now. Sticking your nose where it doesn't belong. $JBL$ I’m gonna stop you right there son. You can choose to ignore all of our accolades and accomplishments, but the fact still remains, we are at the top of XWL’s food chain. WE are what everyone’s talking about. Not the Bullet Club and damn sure not Dean Ambrose. You talk about I started this by doing what I did to your brother Sami Callihan at Roulette, but you see Dean it wasn’t personal. It was just good business.
JBL turns to look at Matt Sydal.
$JBL$ Damn good business. It could have been you that was laid out backstage, leaving your brother to fend for himself. It could have been your career that seemingly ended at Roulette. You should be thanking me. It’s not the coward thing to do, it’s the smart thing. But I guess we’ve already established your not the sharpest lunatic in the asylum. Especially since you say the only one in this room your worried about in this room, is Matt Sydal. You see Dean, you're outnumbered, outmatched, and simply outgunned.....
Dean does look around at the numbers facing him. He sighs heavily before quickly reaching into his pocket and brandishing a switchblade
[Dean Ambrose] I might be about to go down but I promise that I'm taking someone with me. Permanently
Upon those seemingly last words being uttered by Ambrose, JBL and his Cabinet close in on Ambrose on all sides and just when it looks like they are about to lay into the Lunatic brandishing the Switchblade, a door can be heard being kicked in, the camera quickly pans to the area in which the noise eminated from and we can now see that the door labeled "Emergency Exit" has been kicked in from the outside putting everyone in this locker room even more on edge then they currently are.
(???) Don't you worry brother, the only ones going down are these stupid sons of bitches.
A dark silhouette emerges in the doorway, he stands there for a few seconds taking in the scene before him whilst subsequently letting his words sink into the men standing in this locker room. The XWL Universe has a pretty good idea as to what voice they just heard, and they're suspicions and predictions are confirmed after a few more seconds elapse as none other than The Phenomenal One himself AJ Styles makes his way into the BC locker room armed with a silver baseball bat. Virgil, who was surrounding Ambrose from the right side of the room where the Emergency Exit door was kicked in has now retreated behind the safety of the Beast as he's clearly concerned about Styles with that bat and Ambrose with that deadly Switchblade in tow.
(AJ Styles) See, I don't believe we've been formally introduced as of yet so allow me to do the introductions, My name is The Phenomenal One AJ Styles, #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship, and the man who built this deadly little unit called Bullet Club together from the ground up around here. I don't believe I've heard you band of hoodlums till my brother Ambrose over here alerted me to the issues you've been causing him. I've been a little busy as of late. I've busy beating main eventer after main eventer and somehow, someway, I guess AJ Styles and John Bradshaw Layfield just never had the luxury of crossing paths in that span, and I wonder why that is? My personal theory as to why we've never crossed paths John is because you're just not on the same level as The Phenomenal One.
The XWL Universe watching this play out on the big screen all let out an "oooooooohhhh" as they know AJ just shot some fire straight at JBL.
(AJ Styles) I mean what exactly have you done around here in the 1st place? Babble about how rich you are? throw down with England's Bare Knuckle Brawler for most of the year, and I guess you did have a couple of Intercontinental Title runs so fair play I suppose, but in all honesty? when you really think about it? it's not really THAT surprising that we haven't faced off, because you're the guy who's just consistently beneath me on the todem pole around here, maybe you've got yourself just enough talent to pick up wins over some of the middle of the road guys around here, but you're just not quite good enough to tango with the best of the best around here are you John? The Mike Mizanin's of the world, The John Cena's of the world, but most important of all, the Phenomenal One of this world, AJ Styles!
Styles and JBL share an intense staredown, there's a literal standoff going on in this locker room right now but in this moment? the only man AJ and JBL see in this room? is the man standing directly across from one another, you could cut the tension between the 2 alpha males of their respective units with a knife!
(AJ Styles) So what does John Bradshaw Layfield do to attempt to make up for his lack of in ring talent? how will John ever break that glass ceiling and make it into the main event scene around here? the answer to that is quite an easy one as it's literally surrounding you right now. You used your money John. You used your money to surround yourself with talent that's CLEARLY superior to the talent that you posses which is just barely enough to get by around here as it is. You got Aiden English over there, a young up and coming guy around here who's got more promise then you ever had, you got my most famous rival watching your back over there, that's right Brocky boy I ain't forgotten about you pal, just like I'm sure you ain't forgotten about Roulette 2016, the night I took the World Heavyweight Championship from you. And then there's the man who arguably shines the brightest whilst on display in this little cabinet of yours, the Golden Weasel himself, Matty Boy Sydal, how's it hangin ol' pal? looks like you're just loving life over there.
AJ mockingly waves at Sydal with his free hand and the disgust in Sydal's face is evident. He doesn't wanna be here as it is and to have to see one of his biggest rivals of the last year stand just a few feet from him and mock him over this tough predicament that he's in, it's just tough for the Golden One to stomach right now and he's letting Styles know about it by sending the stare of death back his way.
(AJ Styles) The thing with you is John, the thing that's made this just too easy is the fact that you're just so freakin predictable. Ambrose knew you had a few options for potential retaliation but he knew you'd go the most predictable route which is walk through the front freakin door. and you may think to yourself, some trap this is, just 2 guys with a bat and a switchblade, but what if I got a crew of guys trashing your locker room as we speak? what if I got a crew just waitin to ambush ya'll from behind? that's the thing, with Bullet Club? you just never know when or where we're gonna strike, cause we're WORLDWIDE!!! and our reach is ENDLESS!!!
A sinister smile crosses AJ's face as he's planted the seed of doubt into the heads of The Cabinet.
(AJ Styles) So go ahead boys, make your move if you dare, but just know that once you cross the line and go to war with Bullet Club? your demise will be inevitable...
With JBL, along with the rest of The Cabinet member's growing more agitated with every word that leaves The Phenomenal One's mouth, it feels like any minute now absolute anarchy will break out. Which Sydal easily reads and looks to defuse the situation, stepping in between AJ & JBL who were getting too close, and pushes both back slightly.
[Matt Sydal] No one needs to make any moves, this isn't your fight, JBL, nor is it your fight AJ. If Dean and I wanted a "stable" war, we'd have said so...but I think he'll agree with me, in fact probably the only thing we do agree on, is that all of you, need to worry about your own damn problems because I'm not fighting him at Breakthrough representing "The Cabinet" and he isn't fighting me representing "The Bullet Club." No, it's Dean Ambrose versus Matt Sydal, No Holds Barred, and NOBODY else! Don't you have a title to worry about winning AJ? I'd think you'd be a little more precious with your effort after you LOST to The World Heavyweight Champion last week. Yet, here you are trying to get in on Dean's business when what you should be doing is finding a way to prevent Maryse from pulling that stunt again at Breakthrough. After all, we both know Triple Threat World Title Matches, at Breakthrough, don't exactly favor you, remember?
Styles doesn't seem amused one bit by Sydal's remark, JBL, however, flashes an almost faintly proud smirk, that Sydal notices immediately and turns back to him.
[Matt Sydal] I didn't say that for your approval, no you have your own issue to contend with, a Six Man Elimination Tag-Team Match, what you need to be doing is focusing on Eli Drake, Sami Zayn, & Bad News Barrett...not butting into my business and trying to start a war when your last one isn't even over with. So how about you check your ego and get out of here because I don't want anything to get in the way of mine and Dean's match at Breakthrough. If you two groups wanna kill each other afterward, hey as far as I'm concerned that's killing two birds with one stone, but as for now...you two need to realize neither of you will win this fight tonight, because you both have way too much on your plates already to be trying to start anything else.
{Aiden English} YOU KNOW WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS?
Suddenly everyone in the room, regardless of affiliation, turns and faces English, unsure of what this outbreak has to do with the situation at hand.
{Aiden English} It was a banner year at the XWL roster. We got a pay per views called Emergence. The gold man grabbed me and said: "I'm gonna take down the Bullet Club, Johnny."
Seemingly done with his monologue in the style of... Breakfast Club? English now turns towards Matt Sydal.
{Aiden English} I mean, why wouldn't he? He's the "Man of Gold", the "Golden Ticket" himself, Matt Sydal! Former world champion and one of the top stars in XWL! But, he didn't did he? In fact, even after forming an unlikely bond with one of his rivals, CM Punk, a pairing of two top superstars that made everyone believe in his chances, well... he didn't just lose, he let CM Punk get decimated to the point that it will probably be a long time before anyone sees him around here again. But, how could that happen?
English now walks towards Sydal, and gets close to the point that if went much further they'd probably be touching/.
{Aiden English} You see, the truth about this golden man that everyone except him seems to realize, is that all this talk of god is little more than a facade to mask his own shortcomings. The truth is this man needs a faction war at Breakthrough, because he's already proven that he simply does not have what it takes to get his own tasks done by himself.
With that, English takes a few steps back, and at first seems like he may be done talking, but then turns his attention towards Styles.
{Aiden English} However, you see, there is a much bigger problem in this room right now. And that is the man known as AJ Styles. You see, it would be wise for him not to speak on how long Mister LAyfield and that ruffian Bad News Barrett have been fighting for, because I seem to recall a certain someone returning eight months ago and laying out John Cena. And I also seem to recall him having done very little for those past eight months besides fight John Cena. Or perchance it's meant to be seen as difference because at one point the Miz became involved?
{Aiden English} Speaking of which, the man here also seems to claim that he is superior due to him being #1 contender for the world title. However, if I remember correctly, the only reason that's the case is that a wheel just so happened to land on Miz at Roulette, and that he's won one or two of an endless barrage of triple threat matches. Or perhaps he should be taken more seriously as a threat due to this all-mighty Bullet Club? Well, let's put that to the test. There's Sami Callihan, but he most certainly won't be around here any time soon. There's Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, but that's only when they even happen to remember they still work for this company since they don't actually wrestle There's also Sasha Banks, but I guess she's off breaking into people's houses and "Revolutionizing the woman's division". Which only leaves AJ Styles, who there is little more to speak of, and Dean Ambrose, a self-admitted lunatic. So I believe that takes that particular idea off the table.
English walks back over near the rest of the Cabinet, before finishing up his speech.
{Aiden English} You know what I think the truth is, honestly? I think AJ Styles is nothing but another over-hyped tough guy, who couldn't lace Mister Layfield's boots. So come Breakthrough, the Cabinet will defeat the pathetic "Anti- Cabinet Alliance", and then will go on to do whatever they please in that no holds barred match.
Dean raises his eyebrow towards Aiden English
[Dean Ambrose] Hey, singing jester, I thought you could only talk when commanded to. You have the least clout here so maybe shut that trap of yours. And I can't believe I'm saying this but this isn't exactly what I want. I usually would be the first to throw a punch and start this shindig but I want Matt Sydal at one percent when I beat him so there are no excuses
Dean pushes his way past the Cabinet and in front of Styles
[Dean Ambrose] AJ I know you're ready to throw down but you need to worry about bringing that title to the Club. You can't get injured here so what we're all gonna do is leave it here
Dean looks towards JBL with his next words
[Dean Ambrose] If you want to continue this after I'm done pinning Sydal i'm not hard to find. I'm not hiding. But just know that when you fire that first shot that you've started a real war and there won't be any time outs like we're having. I promise you that I am the ironman of XWL. I'm indestructible! I won't die and I will keep coming back and back and back until I've ended everyone of you little fuckers. I'm the Tommy Gun of the Bullet Club and when I fire I hit multiple targets at once Bradshaw. So just walk away.
JBL looks between Dean and AJ. He grins and chuckles to himself.
$JBL$ Dean I believe I had it all wrong. Your not a complete fool. As a matter of fact I believe you may be the brains of the operation in the Bullet Club, but don’t let that go to your head because it’s not too much of a compliment. You have business to settle with Matty boy, I’ll let you two handle it. We will stay out of it as long as the Rest of your “brothers” do the same. And as for you AJ. I don’t give a damn what you’ve done in the past, because it’s just that. The past. Your a has been hack who needs to hang up how boots and retire. You and I both know that you don’t stand a chance against the Miz and John Cena, but go ahead. Prove me wrong. Or right. It doesn’t really matter, because sooner or later the bullet clubs gonna get the horns.....
With that JBL tips his hat and turn to the door, way, where he proceeds to shove Sydal through it, and then step out of it himself as the rest of The Cabinet follows him. This leaves AJ & Dean to AJ and Dean left to themselves as we fade out, and wonder when this war will officially kickoff, given the massive tension between the two groups. Will Dean & Matt get their straight up match, or will their respective members seize this as yet another message of superiority?
After Dolph Ziggler opens the show with a proclamation that he'll be leaving tonight as The #1 Contender to Chad Gable's Intercontinental Championship. We cut to recap recalling what we saw on last week's edition of Anarchy when it was officially announced that Natalya & Sasha Banks would not only battle it out at Breakthrough in 2 weeks, they would compete in a Buried Alive Match. With their personal rivalry played out for us every week, from vicious attacks to personally motivated actions, we've seen the best of friends, become the bitterest of enemies. As that recap ends, we're taken somewhere backstage within The Pepsi Center, where Michael Cole is sitting before us.
[Michael Cole] Ladies and Gentlemen, tonight I'll be sitting down with the women set to do the unthinkable at Breakthrough when they compete in not only the second Buried Alive Match in XWL history but the first to be contested with women. With the incredible presence, The Women's Division has had in XWL over the years and the gap between them and their male counterparts growing less and less with every monumental move in true equality. I'd be remiss if I didn't express what all of XWL felt in that moment, which was astonishment at the fact that a rivalry, not just a rivalry between women, but a rivalry period had become so personal that both sides wanted to see the other brought about to their end. My first guest is the woman that early critics, say is completely out of her element at Breakthrough, she isn't ruthless, or cold-blooded enough to be the reason her former best friend, is buried alive. But I believe that notion is unfair given her journey to even become a Wrestler. So Natalya, thank you very much for joining me here tonight, how are you doing, all things considered?
Her polite smile fades after only a few seconds, you have to believe it's hard to find a reason to be her usual positive self after everything she's endured these last several months.
[Natalya] You know, ever since that night in Canada, I've been an emotional wreck, seeing my family thrown in the line of fire, by someone I thought of as my best friend...it hurts, and I'm not going to sit here and say oh she didn't get to me, because it'd be a lie. Our relationship started off rocky, you know the usual tale of a rookie that's determined to do anything to make an impact, and unfortunately, I was that easy "target" I was someone she thought she could make a name for herself on, at the expense of my own. But after it ended, and a few months had passed...I saw a different Sasha, one that seemed to see the "light" and realize she can be successful without tearing down the division in her path. I just sit here asking myself where did it go wrong? Was it ever right? To think of what's led up to this, and where it's ending, I'm just all over the place. From angry, to sad, to happy in a way that it'll all be over after Breakthrough, but of course also anxious because it's not just your everyday match, there's a reason we're the second match of this type to ever take place, it's almost a last resort because it is not just career-threatening, but life-threatening.
[Michael Cole] Why accept her challenge then? Knowing that the risk, honestly outweighs the reward?
[Natalya] I've never played it safe a day in my career, have I not been as ruthless as others? Sure, does that nullify the fact that I have turned it up when it calls for it? The fact that my journey to the square circle began in a dungeon, a dark desolate place where I was broken every single day, and molded into THE BEST there is, was, and soon would ever be? There's a reason I was the only female graduate, it's because I was tough enough to survive the challenges that it held, I was brave enough to get up every morning knowing that this day would be far worse than the last. My grandfather gave me all the tools to make The Wrestling World mine for the taking. But that isn't my personality, I'm not the type to rule with an iron fist, I tried to be that person...and sure it made me successful on day 1, I destroyed everyone, EASILY. But I lost my humanity, the ability to know when enough truly was enough, when to call on what I learned in The Dungeon, and when to restrain myself from being the person I was literally born and bred to be.
She takes a moment to collect herself, speaking of who she was once is difficult, because that version of herself was successful, and it's always the first thing people say nowadays when it comes to if she'll ever reach success again. Why not go back to your old ways? But it's because she wasn't proud of who she had to be, of who this business says you have to be in order to reach the top.
[Natalya] One day, the division will be built on respect and all of the history we've made will spawn a division that truly can do anything, and rather than tear each other down, we can build something incredible from the sacrifices of the women that came before us. But to get to that point, people like Sasha, either need to be humbled, or they need to leave. I became a wrestler to be the best and to compete against the best every night. Not to have my family victimized, or my home invaded, or to be made a fool of all for someone else's amusement. That has no place in wrestling, I understand there's a market for that, and some people love the "drama" but all I want to do is wrestle, to showcase my passion every single night. I don't want that to be overshadowed by needless antics, and jealousy. The fact that I even have to be apart of this narrative, of this woman who was betrayed by her best friend, and have you ask me how that makes me feel, or to be promoted on the poster for Breakthrough simply because of that drama, rather than because of anything I've personally done in that ring...it infuriates me. This is why Sasha did what she did, why women like her have done what they've done. They pull some childish stunt, and suddenly a spotlight is cast upon them and their ego is repeatedly stroked with every moment that what they did is even mentioned. So why did I accept her challenge for a Buried Alive Match? Because it's either I risk my life, or she one day accomplishes her goal of ruining it.
[Michael Cole] You said something interesting, you think the glorification of this rivalry, and the fact that so many eyes are on it, is giving Sasha what she wants? That she sees this and knows that's all she has to do to get the attention she seeks?
Natalya nods, noticeably agitated by what she feels has given Sasha wanted she wanted, why she even did what she did, attention.
[Natalya] Exactly, she's like a child that threw a tantrum because their mother wouldn't buy them an ice cream cone, and then because of that tantrum, she didn't just get ice cream, she got the whole damn sundae with chocolate syrup, whip cream, and cherries. I realize that I am in the public eye because of what I do, and the fact that we reach so many homes every night, and I love bringing that in-ring entertainment to so many people. But I didn't ask for my best friend, outside of this business, someone I traveled with to every show, and worked out with every day, to betray me on live television, and do so at not only my expense but my Uncle Bret Hart's as well. I just, I want to be known for my work in that ring, not as the woman that got betrayed. I don't want our "rivalry" to be marketed, to be "celebrated" and showcased as this marvelous thing because it's not. She did a horrible wretched thing, and that does not deserve recognition, it does not deserve to be promoted or featured as a selling point for a Pay-Per-View. But unfortunately, that's what happened, so not only am I forced every day to be reminded of the fact that I lost someone so dear over something so stupid...but I have to come into work and see it on full display because it's "must-see"
[Michael Cole] Surely you understand why it's heavily promoted though, right? It may be drama you want no part of, but it's like we're watching a compelling story play out before us, and we can't help but want more, to see how it all ends, and how the hero of the story, the woman that was betrayed, comes out on top.
Again you can feel that she's getting more irritated by this idea, because it's easy to look at it through that lens and think hey everything WILL be worth it in the end, but is it ever worth it especially now? Will it be worth seeing those she loved be assaulted right in front of her? To be powerless to save them?
[Natalya] I'm not a character in some story, I'm a real person with real feelings, feelings that have been hurt. And not to be pessimistic, but this isn't the first story where I've been described as the "hero" and do you remember how that one ended? The evil villain won because it wasn't some fairytale, it was real. And in this grand story, I would have won and it would have all been worth it, but I didn't...and it wasn't. So why would I view this through that same lens or give it any sort of acknowledgment as a possibility when I've learned that not every "story" has a happy ending. You may find it compelling, and it may be "exciting" to see me put her in her place, but I didn't ask for any of this, I don't want any of this...I just want to wrestle, and I don't think that's a lot to ask for.
[Michael Cole] I can understand why you'd be reminded of your rivalry with the then "Sister April" but some might argue it didn't end, just that chapter did, by restoring humanity to April after seeing what that defeat did to you. It's the reason why she's been able to reform herself and even become so well liked. Did you ever think maybe this is your next chapter, you have to overcome the woman she first was bested by, to reach the TRUE end where you not only finally win, you become Women's Champion and end the reign no one else has been able to end?
Immediately her head shakes, having zero interest in this narrative Cole's trying to pitch, because not only is it not a guarantee, but she can't allow herself to buy into that, not after April and how badly that ended.
[Natalya] It's like I said, this isn't a book, this is my life. And Sasha has made it a living hell, far more than April did because at least a small part of her thought she was doing something "good" and while she kidnapped me, and tortured me, and brainwashed a fan...and forced me into her "sisterhood" she didn't maliciously involve my family, she didn't pull off some elaborate ruse to make a mockery of me. She didn't make it her mission to literally END me...I can understand why you see a parallel between the two, but that's simply not the case. I knew what to expect with April, with Sasha...I never expected her to do the things she's done, or to say the things she's said. And never did I once think that one day, I'd actually hate my best friend, and want to bring her unimaginable pain and suffering...but I do. I hate Sasha for going down this road, for dragging me down it with her, for undercutting everything I've done to distance myself from ever being in a situation like this again after April...I was fine being a background character, just showing up and doing what I love, wrestling. She knew that too, she knew that after before, I needed to just be me....and just, live my own life, have my own career, let my ability be who I am. And the fact that she did this, and used everything I ever told her against me, it makes my blood boil. It makes me want to take out all of my frustration on her, to break every bone in her body because even that wouldn't come close to the pain I've felt, of a broken heart.
[Michael Cole] I'll respect your desire to give this issue any further promotion. Let's talk about Breakthrough itself, how do you prepare for a Buried Alive Match?
[Natalya] I don't think you do, I think you just go into it knowing how horribly wrong it could go, and you do everything within your ability to make sure you're not on the other end of that horrible fate. That everything you've overcome up to this point has prepared you for the ultimate battle of survival ahead. This isn't just about who is "better" or who is more technically gifted, this is simply about incapacitating your opponent by any means necessary, long enough to put them in the grave, and literally bury them alive. I think I find myself personally in a unique predicament because I was there, I was there at Supremacy over 6 years ago, when Ted DiBiase and The Undertaker competed in Buried Alive.
[Michael Cole] Do you remember the mood? How it made you feel just as simply a bystander watching it all transpire?
[Natalya] It was very ominous, a lot of people felt uneasy because here you had this beloved Superstar potentially stepping into his last match, and he did it because he wanted respect. He didn't want to be known as someone who was afraid, or to have all of his hard work up to that point be for nothing, he challenged himself to face that impossible challenge and while I didn't personally have any interaction with them before their match, I just remember watching it...and asking what made this so personal, so heated that someone like Ted would be willing to pay the ultimate price to have it be over?
[Michael Cole] You know, I have to be the honest...the way you paint that picture, don't you think it's almost like you're talking about yourself? How you saw all of this, and in a strange twisted sense of irony, you've now found yourself in that same situation. Here you are, this beloved woman that wants nothing more than to see a division of respect, and you've been disrespected in the worst possible way by someone you yourself once respected, just like he at the time had always respected The Undertaker. I think you accepted this match because you knew if you said no, even if your first instinct was to...all of the trials and tribulations you've experienced over the years would be for nothing because Sasha could tout that she was right, and use it as further ammunition to destroy your very name itself.
Natalya's head lowers for a moment, he has a point, there are similarities, but while he ultimately overcame the odds, there's no guarantee she will.
[Natalya] Maybe you're right, maybe it is the same...maybe I never thought I'd be in his shoes, that when I watched their match all those years ago, I was afraid for him. So as much as I hate to admit it because I know it'll only bring merit to those that think I'm out of my element at Breakthrough, I am scared. I've prepared my whole life for everything that is wrestling, and to know that it won't be enough, that I'll have to go places I've never gone before to survive...I wonder if I can dig deep and bring that ruthlessness out. Part of me, whether I want to or not, will always see Sasha as my friend, even after all she's done, that small part remembers all the good times, and who she used to be. So it's hard to erase that, hard to see her in such a different light, hard to...hurt her in the ways that I'll need to. That's just who I am, I'm not capable of forgetting what we once were, no matter how badly I want to, how much I just want to unleash all of this built up hatred and to not give a damn about her well being. Because she didn't give a damn about mine, or my uncle's, or my mother's, or my father's...but I don't want to be that person, that person who feeds into their hatred, so I'm conflicted. I sit here tonight wishing Sasha right there, so I could throw her all over this room, smother her in the soil of that potted plant over there, break that vase over her skull...slam that door over and over into any part of her body. But I never wanted this, I never wanted to feel this way, and to know that I do, that I'm going to be the reason my once best friend, is officially out of the picture come Breakthrough, it's difficult to fathom.
[Michael Cole] As they say in this business, never say never. Now I only have one final question. Who is being Buried Alive at Breakthrough? Natalya? Or Sasha Banks?
[Natalya] Sasha, no matter what we once had, who she once was, all she is right now is the woman that stands in the way of my future. She cost me The Women's Championship one month ago at The Slammy Awards, that was my night, and for once I was going to be on the right side of history. But because of her, I don't sit here as Women's Champion, I sit here knowing that on the night it was finally about to happen, the woman who was once my best friend, took that moment from me. All of the blood, sweat, and tears over the last 7 years, the feeling of rejoice, the pride in never giving up despite the many shortcomings, she stole that from me. She betrayed my trust, she made it personal in ways no one ever had with me before, and in the words of my Uncle, enough is enough, and it's time for a change. I may wish it had never come to this, but I'm prepared to do what I must, to survive, to finally be free of her. I don't know what will happen when that bell rings, and the fight for survival begins, what awful things I'll need to do, the pain I'll need to inflict, but I won't hold back. I won't show mercy, I won't be afraid of the unknown, or the person I will have to be on that night. I will avenge my Uncle, my Mother, my Father, and my name by showing Sasha that if you drag it through the dirt, I will drag you into the hole it left and bury you.
[Natalya] She started this, she made it personal, she made me hate her...she made me want to rid this entire place of her, who she is, what she represents. Which is why she'll only have herself to blame when she finds herself in that grave fighting for every last breath as she's Buried Alive.
With no emotion to be found on her face, not anger, sadness, or anything in between, she sits there letting her final words sink into us the viewers, but especially to Sasha if she's currently watching right now. She didn't want this, but she'll be damned if she's going to let someone take her career from her, after everything she's fought through up to this point. Nothing more needs to be said, no intense gaze is needed, she's serious...more serious than we ever see Natalya be. Even Cole is almost speechless by this, not even able to do an outro for his first of two interviews tonight. No, we just continue to stare into the face of a woman that's prepared to risk her very livelihood to be free of the woman she once called her best friend until we begin to fade. And the fade is slow, we zoom in on her expression, or really lack of...and suddenly some of us that thought maybe she's not capable of being in a match like this, or that she's simply a fool to accept such a stipulation...find ourselves second-guessing what we thought, because while she's still Natalya, and her first instinct isn't to be the type of person that's typically thrown into a Buried Alive Match. There's a part of her that's been dormant since she stepped out of that fateful Dungeon, a part she doesn't like...but a part that she'll embrace come Breakthrough.

Dolph: AND THE NEW Intercontinental Champion DOLPH ZIGGLER. That is right because when I win my match tonight and go on to beat the failed Amateur Wrestler Chad Gable, I will take back the title.
Like I said I won't settle for just one championship I'm coming for them all. I will be the Champ Champ...Champ.
I got to give it to are GM Layla though you have finally woken up and realized that I am the man you want to be the face of XWL. Not The Miz or Gable not even Kenny Omega. Speaking of that loser, my opponent Rich Swann defeated him two weeks ago.

#1 Contender's Match for the Intercontinental Championship
The lights in the arena die down as everyone's attention is drafted to the tron. In the bottom corner, we see the label "EARLIER TODAY..." with Maryse frantically trying to maintain her composure while her husband, the new XWL World Heavyweight Champion is relaxing and preparing himself mentally for his Anarchy debut as the King of XWL.
Maryse Babe, I just don't know what to do; the phone won't stop ringing! Reporters, talk show hosts, TMZ-- they all want the first interview with the new XWL World Heavyweight Champion. I've got Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon on hold, and Ellen is still waiting for a date to go on her show.
The Miz No, scratch Ellen. I don't do daytime.
Maryse nods and makes a note on her phone when a third party suddenly comes into the frame. It's Jojo, and she's come equipped with a mic and some questions.
Jojo Excuse me, Miz- I was hoping to get a moment of your time. The XWL Universe is dying to hear from the new-
Just like that, Maryse turns and faces the much shorter Jojo, narrowing her eyes at the interviewer as if she were nothing more than the gum under her Christian Louboutins. She eyes her up and down, painfully slowly.
Maryse Excuse me, what are you, and what exactly do you think you're doing in my husband's dressing room?
After an awkward second of silence with Jojo struggling to gather herself and produce a response, Maryse snaps before the rookie gets the chance.
Maryse Don't you know there's a waiting list? I bet you didn't bother checking it before you came in here uninvited, did you? Do you have any idea how rude that is, how disrespectful that is, how unprofessional that is? Is this the kind of help XWL is hiring these days? Unbelievable.. What makes you think a groupie like you deserves the first interview with my husband, the XWL World Heavyweight Champion, hm? I'm so tired of dealing with you people and your obsession with my husband. Do you think you're special? Well you're not. There are 40 more girls just like you in the parking lot, and hundreds more in the crowd. What's so hard for you to understand? He's taken. Now get lost, and don't let me find you in my husband's dressing room again.
Maryse takes the moment to rub her coveted diamond ring on her left hand until Jojo finally takes the hint and sees herself out. Maryse breathes a frustrated sigh of relief and begins tending to her husband's needs again.
Maryse Ridiculous. The media has no boundaries anymore. Literally, sending the help in here disguised like an interviewer? Do they think I'm an idiot? You can't trust anyone in this business anymore.
As Maryse rolls her eyes and leans against the table, Miz clears his throat, prompting Maryse to grab his imported water and unscrew the top before putting it up to his lips for him to drink.
The Miz Babe, you've always had such a way with talking to the press. It's one of the many things I love about you.
Maryse -and I love you.
The "It Couple" both grin, fawning over each other as Maryse leans in closer and the two exchange an intoxicating array of kisses and nose bumps while the tron fades back to black.
With the opening signature to the show coming to an end, the camera cuts to a shot focused on the stage and almost as if on cue, pyrotechnics light up the stage in a rainbow of colors in a predetermined order, the sheer sound of the them making the theme to Anarchy seem as if it was muted, going up and down the stage as the live audience in attendance emanates in a positive reaction for not only the return edition of Anarchy, but also the coveted Slammy Awards. On either side of the firework display are two larger than life sized Slammy Awards and upon closer inspection, they appear to have a slight resemblance to the new World Heavyweight Champion in The Miz. One final explosion signals the end of the display, allowing the theme to be heard once more, the camera doing one long pan up the ramp as the members in the first few rows are seen cheering and seemingly enjoying their time on the show despite it just start, believing their money was well spent.
The camera stops at the stage, the smoke slowly disappearing into nothingness as various superstars make their way onto the stage and down the ramp, a good portion of them, male and female, don their best suits and dresses while others, refusing to conform, opt instead to wear their merchandise in the shape of T-Shirts or simply stick to the status quo and use their ring gear for such an occasion. One camera switch later and we're greeted to a shot of the ring, or it would be it if didn't have a much needed makeover. The ring ropes replaced with ones made of velvet, two pictures of The Miz holding the World Heavyweight Championship on different occasions on opposite ends of the ring facing the camera. The ring steps being thrown to the wayside and replaced with a fancier version, the letters “M,” “I,” and “Z” on each step, positioned in the center of the apron matching the ramp for easy access, as well as a bouncer guarding the sacred ring. And finally, the proverbial “pièce de résistance” being on the mat itself: A scaled up version of a star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame with The Miz's name etched on it. Superstars now surround the ring, some excited for the promise of free food while others are seemingly contractually obligated to be there.
[Mauro Ranallo] Good evening ladies and gentlemen, it is XWL's big season premiere, we are live from The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, home to the NEW World Heavyweight Champion The Miz...and host to The Slammy Awards!
[Corey Graves] Calling tonight "big" just doesn't quite do it justice, Mauro. When we say tonight is packed full of incredible rematches, and exciting returns, as well as debuts...we're absolutely serious. Our General Manager Layla, while we were off enjoying a little vacation, has been tirelessly working to fine tune every detail of tonight to make it as big as a show like The Slammys, and our Season Premiere should be.
[Mauro Ranallo] Indeed she has, including setting forth our Main-Event of the evening, which not only renews one of XWL's best rivalries within the last year but sees the unstoppable Women's Champion look to extend beyond her 10 month reign as it stands tonight.
[Corey Graves] They say to be on top you have to truly be willing to fight with everything you have, and as we learned on XWL.com current Women's Champion April has been dealing with a number of injuries, but refuses to slow down, refuses to take time off, this reign, this path of redemption means everything to her, and that is why tonight she will defend against Natalya in the very match that ended it all, tonight they step back inside...HELL IN A CELL!
[Mauro Ranallo] Which is exciting for an entirely different reason than it was back at Downpour 5 months ago, because both women have transformed themselves within that time, introducing new weapons to their arsenal that have made them better than ever, and...while April herself has dealt with struggles from the likes of Bray Wyatt's reemergence, and an upstart in Peyton Royce...Natalya's dealt with the sting of betrayal.
[Corey Graves] Her "best friend" Sasha Banks lured her into a trap, which saw her uncle Bret "The Hitman" Hart absolutely decimated by The Bullet Club, and Natalya floored by a chair shot, they clashed at Roulette in a straight up wrestling match where Natalya defeated Banks, which actually earned her the right to tonight's match becoming a true rematch in the sense that the title will be on the line as it was 5 months ago.
[Mauro Ranallo] But unfortunately for Natalya, while that victory ended her losing streak on PPV, it didn't seem to mark the end of their rivalry, at least not for The "Bullet Boss. Our very own Renee Young sat down with Natalya in her home while we were away for a special edition of Unfiltered...which saw Sasha along with Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson savagely invade her home, assault Renee Young, her mother, and father...it was one of the most heinous things I've seen in a long time.
[Corey Graves] If you haven't seen it it's available on XWL.com, but be warned it is very graphic in nature, so viewer discretion is advised. But with that horrific ordeal, one has to wonder what state of mind Natalya is in tonight. Is putting her in a match like Hell in a Cell really a good idea knowing that she might take whatever Saha's done out on April?
[Mauro Ranallo] At the very least at least it will prevent Sasha from potentially ruining this match, but that will be our Main-Event but there's much more set to take place.
[Corey Graves] Such as another very deeply personal rivalry being revisited when Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins clash once more in a Los Angeles Street Fight, just as they did back at Final Stand earlier this year.
[Mauro Ranallo] Bad News Barrett and JBL clashing in a rematch of their Falls Count Anywhere Match from Emergence which had the whole world abuzz so much so that tonight it's also one of the nominees for Match of The Year.
[Corey Graves] Also nominated, and set to take place will be Matt Sydal versus Brock Lesnar, where they clash in a rematch of their last encounter back in May. Two men that also after Roulette had everyone talking due to their involvement with The Cabinet.
[Mauro Ranallo] I don't even know where to begin with that, why did Brock Lesnar get involved? Is Matt Sydal actually apart of The Cabinet? Will Sami Zayn get his Money in The Bank briefcase back? So many questions we hope to have answered by the end of tonight's broadcast.
[Corey Graves] We'll also see last year's Most likely to Succeed Superstar Awoken Matt Hardy clash with this year's winner.
[Mauro Ranallo] Which after the betrayal of his brother at the end of Roulette, you have to wonder what his mindset even is, their relationship as brothers has been filled with ups and downs on both sides, will Brother Nero perhaps explain his actions?
[Corey Graves] Who speaking of which will be taking us back in time, to when XWL began where we'll have a special showcase between Brother Nero, once known as Jeff Hardy, clash with The returning Viper Randy Orton, this was the first great big rivalry in the history of this company, and I for one am eagerly awaiting their match tonight.
[Mauro Ranallo] And of course, we're set to hear from our NEW World Heavyweight Champion, The Miz. The man that in the fan's words went from "worst to best" at Roulette, falling out first in The Elimination Triple Threat Match between AJ Styles, John Cena and himself, only for the wheel to land on his name, and crown him Awoken Matt Hardy's opponent in The Main-Event, which would see him become champion for the first time in many years.
[Corey Graves] Truly an impressive rebound for The Awesome One, who now looks to finally move on away from AJ Styles, and especially John Cena.
The show begins with a shot of Maryse in the center of the ring, holding a microphone.
Maryse Mesdames et Messieurs, bonsoir!
Maryse pauses, holding her mic down as she smiles, allowing the crowd to boo her. Nothing was killing her mood tonight, however, for a celebration was in the midst, made obvious by the setting of the ring.
Maryse At Roulette, my husband showed all of you why we are the future of this company. We are the face of this business. We own the moneymakers, and we sign the checks. Since the day my husband stepped foot back in this company, he has been telling you people that he is a winner. At Roulette, he proved that to all of you. Nobody can dispute the success and the talent that follows my husband everywhere he goes. From the movie set, to the gym, to the ring, and even to the bedroom..
Maryse smirks playfully, having to pause as she raises a brow while the crowd seems to be a bit amused and taken back by that last bullet point.

The lights in the arena dim, a number of images flash across the screen and the sound of photography being taken intensifies, the pictures being of The Miz's championship match against the Awoken King at Roulette. The sound of flashing timed with the images shown, where the final seconds of it are The Miz hitting Matt Hardy with the Skull Crushing Finale to become the World Heavyweight Champion. The sound comes to an abrupt end when The Miz's theme kicks in.

The lights return to their former intensity as a wave of paparazzi make their way onto the ramp from either side of the stage, two men in suits walking out onto the stage with what appears to be a red carpet rolled up. They place it down on the stage and quickly make their way down the ramp and have it meet the steps at the bottom of the ramp, the carpet being the perfect length, clearly having no expense spared.
The paparazzi come to life when The Miz, having the World Heavyweight Championship displayed proudly on his shoulder, walks out onto the stage, the constant flashing of the cameras lighting him and his Championship up like a Christmas Tree, before he stands in the center of the stage and does his trademark spin and point combination, a surprisingly positive reaction for the new Champion, and poses for the cameras.
A few moments pass before he begins his descent down the red carpeted ramp, splitting the Red Sea of Paparazzi as if he were a modern day Moses, lifting the championship as high above his head as he could while he makes his way into the ring. He eventually makes it to the bottom of the ramp and begins scaling the custom made ring steps, standing face to face with the bouncer, who wastes no time granting The Miz entry to his own ring.
The Miz circles the ring, looking at any and every Superstar that surrounds him on the outside, noticing a few missing faces but not really paying them any mind before he greets his wife, Maryse, with a kiss before he stands in the center of the ring and raises the World Heavyweight Championship one more time, still to a positive reaction, while some of his peers clap sarcastically to the crowning of a new Champion.
He lowers the Championship back down and places it on his shoulder once more and takes a moment to almost soak in the positive reactions from the live audience in attendance while they're still there. The Miz and Maryse begin to whisper to one another, drawing this out just a little bit longer, causing a few members of the present roster to grow impatient. He receives a microphone from his wife, which he quickly puts to good use.
The Miz Seven months ago, I made my long awaited return to this company at the expense of John Cena and for seven months, I waged war against him and AJ Styles. Roulette marked the end of an era, the last encounter between myself, AJ Styles and John Cena, the final match to end the story of quite possibly the greatest feud this company had ever seen. Roulette saw AJ Styles walk away with quite possibly the biggest win in his entire career, finally emerging victorious and bringing an end to the war. Roulette also saw me walk away with the biggest victory in my career, when the wheel landed on my name and I walked out of Roulette as the World Heavyweight Champion.
The Miz AJ Styles may have won the war, but I won the most prestigious prize in this company. And what did John Cena do at Roulette? Lose, like he always has done and always will do. While I, I have reclaimed my spot at the top of the mountain, I am the Most Must See Superstar in this entire company, in this entire industry and all I've been hearing the past two weeks was how AJ Styles beat John Cena, how AJ Styles beat The Miz, how AJ Styles is in the peak of his career but no one, NO ONE is talking about how The Miz became the World Heavyweight Champion, about how despite losing earlier in the night, I went out there and defeated Matt Hardy to win this Championship.
The Miz I'll give credit where it's due, I don't like him, I don't think he's “Phenomenal,” maybe average at best, but at Roulette, AJ Styles was the better man. He did everything he said he was going to do and more. But at the end of the night, despite everything he did, he didn't leave Roulette as World Heavyweight Champion, I did. So to celebrate that, I have brought those who have attended my Red Carpet Affair a gift.
The Miz motions to the back, causing multiple carts to emerge from the backstage area after a few moments. On the carts are dozens of neatly wrapped presents, festive wrapping paper concealing the contents of the apparent box inside. Upon reaching the bottom of the ramp, the carts split, half go left and half go right before the presents are being passed around throughout the Superstars ringside. After about a minute of gifts being passed around and making sure everybody is in possession of one, the alleged “Santa Miz” is seen motioning for the presents to be opened as the present roster has seemingly received an early Christmas gift, courtesy of the World Heavyweight Champion.
The wrapping paper is torn to shreds as some of the roster couldn't wait to see the contents of their gift, while a few carefully undo the wrapping paper, careful to not damage it so it could potentially be reused at a later date, while the remaining superstars disinterestedly get this over with, ripping away the wrapping paper to reveal the contents inside. Almost simultaneously, they all pull out a velvet bag from within, causing the string that's keeping it closed to cease in its only purpose, revealing a picture frame of sorts. After a few moments of staring at it, the Superstars around the ring grow livid at The Miz's idea of a gift and begin mouthing angrily at him, some doing their best to keep it tame while others shout profanities at him.
The Miz The Miz Participation Award! You know that you could never even dream to have the success that I do, so what better way to reward you than by giving your life a semblance of meaning? Now, you too, can live vicariously through The Miz. When I win, you too will win. When I kiss Maryse, you too will kiss Maryse. When I walk on the red carpet, you guessed it, you too will walk on the red carpet. So you're welcome, I have now given you a purpose. But don't worry, Audience, I didn't forget about you. If you look under your seat, I have given you a gift as well.
A good portion of the live audience in attendance reach under their seats, some excited for the award itself so it could be sold for a profit online, but after a few murmurs amongst the crowd, it's revealed that there is nothing actually under their seats.
The Miz Did you really believe that you people DESERVE one of my prestigious awards? You don't even deserve the seat that you purchased, much less one of my awards. So continue sitting there, booing because you will never gain a fraction of the success I have, because you will never be this AWESOME!
The Miz gets two glasses that were prefilled with champagne from the nearby table inside the ring and hands one to Maryse before they lift them up into the air.
The Miz A toast. To the former World Heavyweight Champion in Matt Hardy for failing to regain the championship he had lost at Emergence. A toast to irrelevancy in John Cena and “Average at Best” AJ Styles, for being so far in my past that they aren't even visible in my rear view mirror. A toast to my beautiful wife for being here to witness my Championship victory. And most importantly, a toast... to ME for becoming the World Heavyweight Champion once again.
Before the married duo could drink their champagne, they are stopped in their tracks when a familiar theme begins to play throughout the arena.
The XWL Universe lights up with excitement as the theme of the Phenomenal One had begun to blast within the arena. Normally, a small section of the XWL Universe would be cheering AJ whilst a much larger portion booed him out of the building, right now however? a STRONG majority of the XWL Universe seem happy to hear the Phenomenal One's theme, perhaps due in part to their dislike for Miz and Maryse and this over the top celebration that they've been forced to witness.
Within moments of his theme coming to life, the Phenomenal One makes his way through the curtain with his head down, hood up, and arms outstretched, he takes position center stage and right on cue and in perfect sync with his theme, AJ flies his hood back and does his signature pose on the stage causing 2 sets of pyro to go off on both sides of him. AJ forms the P1 logo with his gloves above his head before making his way down the ramp. A few fans decked out in Bullet Club and AJ merch throw up too sweet's for AJ, hoping that the Phenomenal One will make their day and too sweet them back, and guess what? today's their lucky day cause AJ goes up to each one of em and too sweet's em, surely a moment that those fans will never forget. AJ then proceeds to turn the corner and walk up the steps and out onto the apron, AJ surveys the crowd who have slightly turned against him after the initial pop, but still, over 50% of this crowd is giving AJ a very positive reaction here tonight, AJ throws up too sweet's to the crowd before turning around and entering the ring. AJ walks right through Miz and Maryse without a care in the world and signals for a mic from ringside, a ringside assistant proceeds to hand him one and AJ turns to face Miz and Maryse.
(AJ Styles) I really didn't mean to interrupt the festivities here Miz but I had just to come out and be the first one to congratulate you personally!!!
The crowd instantly turns against AJ following those words, they thought he was out here to end this celebration but it appears as though he's here to take part in it.
(AJ Styles) I know that Me, You, and John have been at each other's throats for the better part of 7 months now, but like you said, all that stuff's in the past, Roulette was the END of this war, so as a peace offering and as a token of my respect, I'd like to shake your hand right now and congratulate you.
AJ extends his hand and Miz seems shocked, but in all honesty? Miz never really hated AJ Styles, competitive dislike perhaps, but hatred is a word that Miz seems to have reserved for John Cena. Miz cops a smile and extends his hand causing the two men to share a handshake in the middle of the ring very much to the dismay of the XWL Universe. As Miz goes to pull his hand away however, AJ keeps his grip on it and the crowd begin to cheer as Miz's smile quickly diminishes.
(AJ Styles) I wanted to "congratulate" you MIKE on being the man who has the honor OF LOSING THAT WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TO ME!!! THE PHENOMENAL ONE!!!! AAAAAJJJJJJAAAAAYYYYY STTTTTYYYYLLLLLEEESSS!!!!!
AJ tosses Miz's hand down and the crowd is now firmly behind the Phenomenal One once again as Miz and Maryse are fuming.
(AJ Styles) I mean honestly Miz, what the hell did you think was going to happen? Did you think that maybe I'd walk out here, shake your hand, and ride off into the sunset leaving you all to yourself to have your little fun AJ Styles free reign with that title? The simple answer to that is HELL NO!!!
(AJ Styles) Ever since Final Stand, ever since that travesty took place, I have been scratching and clawing my way back to the top of this company. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a firm believer that I'm the best wrestler in the world today, and I think after the run I've had this year, that even alot of those people out there who don't like me would have a hard time arguing that point, but I had to convince the people that run this place that I was BETTER then I was when I was World Champion, and it sure as hell has been a struggle. I had to bring a brotherhood back from the dead to truly get people's attention around here, to show them that we meant business and to show them that the BULLET CLUB runs the pro wrestling world, and in my opinion? Bullet Club is the best assembled group of pro wrestlers on this planet today, "The Executioner" and the Elite Champion Finn Balor, "The Lunatic Fringe" Dean Ambrose, "The BULLET BOSS" and quite possibly the greatest acquisition in Bullet Club history SASHA BANKS! and then you have Myself who's kinda the glue that keeps everything stuck together. I went out there and scouted these guys and gals now that Mrs. Banks has joined the ranks, and after that it's up to them to go out there and show them why each and every single one of em are the best in the world at what they do, and dammit I'm proud of em because they've all done just that.
(AJ Styles) The point is Miz, I've spent the last 7 months BUSTING MY ASS to prove to the world that I'm still the best pro wrestler on this planet, and I had to fend off You and Cena repeatedly to do so, and although we each exchanged some wins over that 7 month span, I was NEVER pinned or submitted, and in the final match with all the chips on the line, with all of our pride at stake, I pinned you, and then I pinned him to prove to the entire world that AJ Styles is the BEST!!! But my 7 months hasn't JUST been consumed by that, I've been multitasking, I've been scouting the current talent you see within Bullet Club, I've been priming em for success, I've been going to battle alongside em, I've been flying around the world to promote Bullet Club and truly make us a WORLDWIDE entity, and I believe we have achieved that to an extent, but there's one thing that's keeping us away from truly going down as THEE greatest group in the history of this company, and that's the World Heavyweight Championship.
(AJ Styles) You can go as far back as the original Bullet Club that I was apart of over 3 years ago and you will discover that Bullet Club has never possessed the World Heavyweight Championship. Finn Balor has done his part by proving that he is THE ELITE OF THE ELITE, disposing of that old Elite Title belt, and bringing a new belt into play that truly represents just how good that man is. Finn has made Bullet Club proud with his championship success and I have no doubts that gold is not far from the grasp of our resident Lunatic Fringe and our BULLET BOSS, but now it's my time. After 7 months of busting my ass, 7 months of fighting wars on multiple fronts, 7 months of stress and pressure, it's finally time to take what's mine, and what's mine Miz? is that World Heavyweight Championship.
(AJ Styles) And I'm sure you stand there and think to yourself that I'm in the past, that you're done with me, that the spin of a wheel means your off the hook, but I got news for ya, it's all about perspective Miz. See, in your fantasy land perspective, getting pinned by AJ Styles, getting lucky by a wheel landing on your name, and going on to beat a guy who's never beaten me means that I should be in your rear view mirror. In my perspective? I put you down for the 3 count with relative ease and it's only due to the sheer luck of a wheel that you were able to get a shot at beating a guy who's well and truly broken at this point, a guy whom I beat TWICE in the last year. So in my world Miz? I'm not in your rear view mirror, I'm in your here and now pal, cause I'm the UNDISPUTED #1 Contender to that World Heavyweight Championship!!!
The Miz pulls his microphone up to his lips for a verbal retaliation attempt but before he could get a word out, he's once again interrupted.
And with that, the mood shifts from tense and focused on the ring to excited and moved towards the stage. To the dismay of the people in and surrounding the ring but to the pleasure of the fans, the curtain parts making way for the one and only John Cena. Haven't had made any appearances for anything since Roulette, the fans had been wondering if his run in XWL was over again. But here he stands, smiling as he comes out, arms extended.
"Can't have a little get together without me now, can you?"
Cena pulls his hand up, touching the brim of his hat in a salute. He then extends it to the ring before taking off in a sprint for it. By passing Miz's bouncers and paparazzi. A space opens, the sea of superstars parting as Cena slides into the ring, crossing it in one fluid motion. He is sure to watch the other two as he goes to get a mic, picking it up and raising it to his lips. Miz is obviously on his last nerve and AJ just isn't impressed by Cena coming out, cocking a small smirk.
[John Cena] Now what in the world do we have here?
Cena asks, smirking as the fans come to life cheering for him.
[John Cena] Now Miz I knew you liked having your ego stroked but this just goes to show what happens when Maryse puts you on the couch for a few nights. You have to go way over the top just to get that satisfaction. I'm sorry. Truly, I am. Maryse, you have to start putting out again. I know, after all that botox it must be hard but really, he's starting to show withdrawal symptoms.
Cena then turns, looking around to the people surrounding the ring.
[John Cena] I just feel bad everyone in the back had to come out here to listen to you talk about how great you are. I mean, we get it, you like yourself. Really, please, stop it. But that, that isn't as much of a beaten horse as this guy over here.
Cena turns to AJ Styles who saw it coming, rolling his eyes almost comically.
[John Cena] AJ Styles. The man everyone was talking about last year. The biggest contract in XWL history just to be wrapped up chasing after me for most of it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it. The sneak attacks and poor punch lines of your insults. Always fun to me. But just once, I would love it if you wouldn't come out here like a soccer mom talking about her kid's team and go on and on and on about the Bullet Club. At this point, I'm just not convinced. You guys went even at Roulette. Not exactly something to brag about.
[John Cena] Speaking of bragging, I feel you're getting a bit ahead of yourself there AJ. Because at Roulette, you did beat me and Miz. Just like how Miz beat you and I to get into that Money in the Bank match back at Emergence. Just like, if my memory serves me right, I beat both of you back at Downpour. That makes it, one, to one, to one.
Cena points at each of them, finishing on himself.
[John Cena] This idea of you being the "Undisputed" Contender is bullshit. I have as many wins over Miz as you do. Hell, I tapped him out. If anything, I think that opens up the doors for you're little Undisputed claim to be Disputed by yours truly. So as much fun as it is to think that you two might ride off into the sunset without me, and that our little games are over, which trust me, they are, I still have one goal on my mind and it's sitting on that joker's shoulder.
Cena points to Miz, the crowd exploding for him as he stakes his claim to the title.
AJ immediately raises his mic to his mouth once Cena lowers his seemingly cutting off Miz who looked like he was going to reply which only seems to frustrate the Awesome One even more.[/b]
(AJ Styles) I mean it's nice to have goals John, I applaud you for that, you're always striving for greatness and I admire that, the problem is John, it's rather hopeless for you to strive for greatness when you yourself are not great. Now don't get me wrong John, you're good, you're damn good, and I've said it before and I'll say it again, you are the hungriest guy in that locker room night in and night out and you give everything you've got every single time you step into this ring, which is why you have my respect, but John the painful reality that you're going to have to accept is that right here? right now? YOU are the one who can't see me because I'm on a whole nother level.
The crowd lets out an ooooooooooohhhh cause they know AJ 100% perfectly placed that pun directed towards Cena
(AJ Styles) I've lost track of the amount of times me and you have done battle over the course of these last 7 months, but I can tell you one thing, outside of you tapping him out (AJ points to Miz), and outside of him climbing a ladder and pulling down a contract whilst me and you were battling it out, I have emerged victorious in every encounter we've had John. The 4 on 2 handicap, The 1 on 1 at Emergence, and the Triple Threat Match to "end it all" at Roulette. So while you may stand there and "dispute" my undisputed #1 contender status, deep down as much as it pains you to admit, you know (AJ points to Cena), he knows (AJ points to Miz), and they know (AJ points out to the crowd) that I am the rightful #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship.
(AJ Styles) But I tell you what John, like I said, I don't really hate you, matter of fact I admire you in some ways, and since I'm in a good mood tonight and since I'm confident in my abilities in the middle of this ring, I'll humor you and your "dispute" John. I'll put it to the test in front of the whole world, but it's going to come at a cost. See, I know I'm the #1 contender, EVERYONE knows I'm the #1 contender, but I'm going to give you the chance to roll the dice and see if John Cena is still as good as he thinks he is, or see if his better days are truly behind him. So how bout this John, Me and You (AJ points to Cena) one on one, one more time tonight, if you win? You can have first crack at Miz and his title, but if you lose John, if you lose you will no longer stand in my way because you'll instead be standing by my side as my Bullet Club brother!!!
[John Cena] Lemme tell ya something kid, I've made an entire career of rising to the occasion when the stakes are highest, and yeah I'll admit it, I haven't been at my best at times throughout the last 7 months, I've been knocked down time and time again, but you know what? it's about how you get back up from getting knocked down that counts. These 3 words that I display proudly on my sleeve, Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect, they define me AJ, I NEVER GIVE UP on my goals and my #1 goal is taking that gold off that punk's shoulder. So AJ, even with those high stakes you just laid out, stakes that could make or break my career, I NEVER BACK DOWN, I NEVER RUN FROM A FIGHT, and that ain't about to change tonight CAUSE I ACCEPT YOUR CHALLENGE!!!
[John Cena] Tonight, I'm going to walk out to this ring with the weight of the world on my shoulders. 2 paths will lay before me, one path leads to glory, and the other leads down a dark and unpredictable world where John Cena is at Bullet Club's mercy, and just when you think John Cena's gonna finally crumble under the pressure, just when you think the pressure and the stress and the uncertainty is gonna get to me, you're going to see a whole new animal get unleashed upon you AJ. So I'll give you till about the 2nd hour of the show to change your mind and run away with your title shot in tow, because once I step out here in front of the XWL Universe, once I take this shirt off and kiss these dog tags only 1 THING will be TRUE!!!!

The Miz takes this opportunity to reinsert himself into the equation.
The Miz You know, I'm actually glad you're out here, despite rudely interrupting YOUR World Heavyweight Champion, I have a gift for you.
He motions towards the timekeepers area, causing the man sitting near the bell to rise up to his feet, holding a velvet bag under his arm, and makes his way towards the ringside area, handing The Miz his gift. He begins to mess with the fancy looking rope keeping the bag sealed shut before pulling it away and opening it up.
The Miz Your very own The Miz Participation Award!
He hands it to Styles, who reluctantly takes a hold of it after a few moments before The Miz looks towards John Cena.
The Miz What? Were you expecting one too? I only hand out my awards for those who deserve them. And besides, you already have more than enough participation awards from this year alone.
The Miz turns to Styles.
The Miz As far as your Championship aspirations are concerned, why don't you go for a Championship that's at your caliber, I hear the Intercontinental Champion needs some contenders.
He turns back to Cena.
The Miz As for you, the X-treme Championship was defunct a few years ago, so you're out of luck.
Just when it seemed that these combustible elements would collide one more time, the theme of the General Manager in Layla begins to play throughout the arena.
She walks out from behind the curtain and stands on the stage, a microphone in hand, in an attempt to potentially defuse the situation at hand.
[Layla] First and foremost, AJ I know you've felt as if you were undervalued, or underappreciated...but the fact of the matter is, you're wrong. I've had my eye on you for the last several months, watching as you have one impressive performance after the next. What you did at Roulette, was prove that you are one of the best talents on the roster today, and seeing as you did pin The Miz in that match, regardless of the fact that he wasn't champion yet, you earned a title match without a shadow of a doubt.
A big smile comes over the Phenomenal One's face as he can be seen mouthing the words "See, I told ya'll they couldn't deny me any longer" to Cena and Miz.
[Layla] So you WILL challenge The Miz at Breakthrough for The World Heavyweight Championship....however, seeing as you three have been so heavily involved in each other's business for the better part of this year...and the fact that you each hold a triple threat victory over one another, the way I see it, the score is tied, and I wouldn't be a very good General Manager if I didn't at least capitalize on that, now would I? So AJ, you threw around the idea of you would face John Cena tonight to decide The Miz's Number One Contender, right? But if he lost, he would have to join The Bullet Club...and a match like that, with high stakes on both sides, that's too good to pass up. So while you already have your championship match, John Cena doesn't. And if you're truly up for the challenge tonight, John? If you're willing to accept AJ's high stakes, then it's official. Tonight John Cena will go one on one with AJ Styles in a rematch from their previous match against one another at Emergence if AJ Styles wins? Then John Cena will have to join The Bullet Club, but if John Cena wins? Then The World Heavyweight Championship Match at Breakthrough will become a Tie Breaking Triple Threat! Good luck gentlemen, and may the best man win.
With the match being made with World Heavyweight Championship implications, The Miz's reign could be in danger if John Cena manages to defeat AJ Styles, something he has yet to do since this rivalry started, and make the World Heavyweight Championship match at Breakthrough into a Triple Threat. Can John Cena do the impossible and gain a much needed victory over Styles, or will history repeat itself with him standing over John Cena once again, forcing the “Leader of the Cenation” to join the Bullet Club? The final image is the three men in the ring engaging in a staredown as Anarchy heads into its first commercial break of the evening.
Roulette returns from an advertising break and a graphic appears on the titantron which tells the XWL Universe all they need to know about what's coming up next, a match that has 7 months of bad blood embroiled in it between 3 of the top superstars in the world today, John Cena, AJ Styles, and The Miz.
A few seconds after the graphic gets a nice pop from the crowd the graphic fades away and the infamous Roulette wheel appears on the tron with a variety of match types on display on it. The wheel begins to spin and the crowd holds their breath in anticipation of what match type the wheel will throw at these 3 men.
The wheel has decided the fate of Cena, Styles, and Miz, the 3 men will compete in an elimination triple threat match where there are no rules, no disqualifications, and no countouts, the only thing you need to do is pin or submit your opponent in the middle of that ring to eliminate them and the last man standing will be victorious. The XWL Universe know that they're ins tore for a real barn burner here tonight so the superstars one by one make their way down to the ring and before long this matchup 7 months in the making is underway.
AJ's done it, AJ's not only just won this unbelievable triple threat elimination match, but he's done it in PHENOMENAL fashion by eliminating both Miz and John Cena himself. AJ grips the ropes and uses them to help him to his feet after that exhausting match where all 3 of these men took their game to the next level and left it all on the line in the middle of that ring with more than just a win and a loss on a line, this match was personal between these 3 men, it wasn't just about walking out the winner, for 3 of these competitors it was about proving to not only the 2 men who stood across them in the ring, but rather to the whole entire world that they are the elite of the elite in this business and after that match? there can be no doubting the legitimacy of these 3 men. The ref raises AJ's hand in victory as Lillian Garcia announces him as the winner of this match, upon finishing her announcement AJ signals her to come over to the side of the ring, Lillian obliges and AJ walks over and requests the mic from her, Lillian hands over the mic and retreats to the timekeepers area as AJ walks to the center of the ring with a mic in hand.
(AJ Styles) Over the last few months I've had to put up with alot of crap in this company, but the one thing, the one thing that's always made me happy is SHUTTING UP AND SILENCING ALL THE HATERS!!!
AJ takes a few seconds to catch his breath as he's still recovering from this exhausting matchup.
(AJ Styles) "AJ's a cheater", "AJ can't win without Bullet Club", "Bullet Club take the easy way out", and that stuff? that's just the tip of the iceberg, that's about 2% of what I have to listen to on a daily basis from a majority of the clueless fanbase that this company has. I'm not stupid though, I know there's some intelligent people in that crowd because I see em every single week when I come out here, they chant "Too Sweet" and "Bullet Club", they hold up their Bullet Club flags and throw up the Too Sweet to greet us every single time a member makes it's way through the curtain, so to those people I say thank you for being a part of the Bullet Club movement that's truly spreading more and more by the second WORLDWIDE.
Bullet Club fans within the arena cheer on The Phenomenal One whilst the rest of the XWL Universe make their displeasure known by sending boo's and thumbs down AJ's way.

Did Finn need any Bullet Club backup? was I at ringside? was Ambrose at ringside? no? neither of em? how bout Sasha then? surely she was at ringside backing Balor up right? WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! and we here at Bullet Club industries LOVE to prove you idiots WRONG night in and night out because honestly? it's just too damn fun watching most of you bitch and moan about how damn good we are. Bullet Club wasn't formed because we needed to help each other to victories and "cheat" like most of you claim, the brotherhood was re formed because we are truly THE ELITE of this industry, there is no unit that even comes close to us in this business today, and if there was? we'd simply put em out of business cause that's what we do, when we shoot? we shoot to kill.

Most of the XWL Universe completely brush off AJ's claims, but judging by the reaction in the arena, there's at least a few more members of the XWL Universe who seem to be at least pondering the thought that what AJ's just said may be true, what if these guys going to war with Bullet Club are just doing it to save their own careers rather than doing it to fight for the good of XWL and the XWL Universe?
(AJ Styles) And even after all I've just said, if you're still sitting there in your comfy little arena seats or up there high up on a comfy sofa in the luxury box and you're all still doubting what I've said, then listen to these cold hard facts and let it sink in real good ladies and gentlemen. Back at Emergence, I said I would beat John Cena one on one with NO assistance from the Bullet Club, and guess what? I did just that, in both of my matches against the former World Heavyweight Champion Matt Hardy, I defeated him ON MY OWN clean as day in the middle of that ring, and then there's tonight, AJ Styles, John Cena, The Miz, all colliding to once and for all put an end to this bitter rivalry that has gone on for 7 months now, and guess what? I pinned BOTH OF THEM without a sliver of help from ANYONE!!! Yet tomorrow I'll still wake up to a bunch of tweets stating that I somehow took the easy way out in this match and didn't deserve to come out on the winning end, and to that person who's clueless enough to make that tweet I say screw you because at the end of the day? I didn't just prove that I'm better then Mike Mizanin and John Cena, I ONCE AGAIN proved that I AM THE BEST PRO WRESTLER ON THIS PLANET TODAY!!!
Fans are a little more hesitant to boo AJ after he's just made that bold claim because although a good chunk of these fans dislike AJ and Bullet Club? it's hard to not put AJ Styles as one of the top 2 or 3 wrestlers in this business today.
(AJ Styles) I'll give my respect where respect is due, I don't like John Cena, that part is 100% clear, but I will say this, I respect John Cena for the battles we've had this year and tonight was no different, he brought his A game but as I've been saying for the better part of this year, nobody's A game is on the level of my A game, and once again tonight I proved that but I can say this for damn sure, John Cena? has more heart, more determination, and more fight in him then just about anyone I've ever faced around here, so for that I'll tip my cap to you. Miz? I don't like you, and to be quite honest I don't really respect you either, but I will say that I respected your performance here tonight, you more then "came to play" like your theme suggests, you came to win, and I can respect that, but sadly enough for you, you ended up being the 1st guy I eliminated here tonight, but look on the bright side, you've got that high class little wife of yours to go home and cry too so at least you've got that going for ya.
These fans aren't exactly fans of The Miz or his wife Maryse either so that comment from AJ actually got a few cheers out of this crowd, although there was still some boo's chucked in from the Cena fans who aren't happy with some of AJ's words.
(AJ Styles) As to where I go from here? who knows, Anarchy doesn't return for another 2 weeks so I think I'll take some time off and go home to my family and just heal up and relax for a bit, but make no mistake about it, when AJ Styles returns to Anarchy at the season premiere, whether the title belt has Matt Hardy on the nameplate, whether it has "Irrelevant guy #1" on the nameplate, or whether the freaking thing still has "vacant" on the nameplate, I don't give a damn who's name is on it because the bottom line is this, come the season premiere of Anarchy? AJ Styles is gonna step into that ring and declare himself the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship!!! AJ throws the mic down with force as his theme begins to blast throughout the arena once again, Bullet Club fans in attendance scream at the top of their lungs whilst throwing up the Too Sweet salute to AJ who in turn stands in the center of the ring and throws up the Too Sweet in return to the loyal members of the Bullet Club Movement, a vast majority of the XWL Universe boo AJ as loud as they possibly can as he exits the ring and makes his way up the ramp and into the back which sends Roulette to another advertising break.
A newcomer on the XWL scene Chad Gable picks up this weeks number 5 spot. Not only did he beat Naito, but he declared he wants an opportunity to chase the Intercontinental Championship. Not only that but he found a mentor to get him there, who else than the man the tournament which just came to an end was named after, The Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. Over the next few weeks we will witness Chad take on all the men who were involved in the tournament to see if he truly has what it takes.

Ever since his return to XWL Roman Reigns has wanted nothing more than to get his hands on the Elite Championship and what stands in his way? E-LI-DRAKE. On the Fact Of Eli these two went into a war of words claiming that they deserved a shot more than the other. It was then declared that next week we will see these two in a match one on one to see who the better man is. However it seemed Roman didn't want to wait for next week as he superman punches Eli laying him out. Not only did he seem to take out Eli but then he went on to beat Braun Strowman who was in the Main Event of Emergence for the Intercontinental Championship. Can he pull out another win next week over Eli or will Eli show him why he's one of XWL's elite? Tune in next week to find out.

The Beethoven of Baritone, Aiden English is this weeks number three on the Power Rankings. He was interviewed early in the night stating how disgusted he was that Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, and Matt Hardy have all been stealing his spotlight. He ten goes on to have a match with a former Intercontinental champion in a match that was sure to be an upset, but completely shocking everyone Aiden English beat Wade Barrett. After his victory he went on to celebrate but was interrupted by none other than the Cabinet. As they assaulted Barrett, English watched on until he was offered to join in. After a few moments of thinking it over he had made his decision...and it was to join the Cabinet and continue the attack on Wade Barrett. Everyone may not like the side he seems to have joined, but like him or not, he has earned some respect his first week here in XWL.

How does a Broken, Crazy, Charismatic, former World Champion react when he looses? He takes out the man who beat him. Last night Broken Matt Hardy did just that when he assaulted edge after loosing their match. Edge was sent to the hospital, and because of his injuries the Championship was forced into vacancy. Layla announced that the wheel will decide one of the number one contenders for the World Heavyweight Championship, but as for the other? Well who else than the former Champion and the man who took out the newly crowned champion, Matt Hardy. Our GM might not like it, but Matt Hardy has earned the right to his rematch, and at Roulette he will get it, the only thing is, who will he be standing across the ring from?

The first Power Rankings number one spot goes to the GLORIOUS one, Bobby Rhoode. He was set to face Baron Corbin, Brother Nero, and Cody. The World thought the match was over when Cody hit Brother Nero with the Cross Rhodes, and it was...but due to Boddy Rhoode rolling up the unexpecting Cody for the 3 count. Thus making him the new #1 contender for Samoa Joe's Intercontinental Championship. He went on to come face to face with Joe backstage following his match, informing him that he will be leaving Anarchy next week with the gold. Samoa Joe didn't agree and the two continued to go back and fourth. Rhoode almost to the point of starting a physical war between the two in the hallway, but was able to calm himself down before things went too far. What does this mean for the Intercontinental Championship scene? Only one thing is sure, it's going to be.....GLORIOUS!

He came out before her match promising that she would shock the world by beating Sister April in her debut match, and she didn't disappoint. BULLET CLUB FOR LIFE
In this weeks Main Event, we saw best friends compete against one another in Natalya and Sasha Banks. It was one hell of a war between these two women until Bret Hart would attempt to come out to Natalya's aid before being blindsided by.....The Bullet Club? They brutally assault the Wrestling legend as Natalya watches in horror. Just as she turns to her friend.....he World comes crashing down. For "The Boss" plants the chair right onto Natalya. This assault would continue until Natalya was left is a pool of her own blood. Sasha had done the unthinkable, she turned on her friend and went to the "dark side". It seems she has joined the Bullet Club, but the question on everyone's mind is, what does this mean for the Women's Division?
congrats on those who made it onto the first edition of the XWL power rankings. it was really close with those who didnt quite make it so keep up the great work everyone. if anyone has any suggestions or thoughts on this feel free to post in here.
Anarchy returns from a commercial break and it's made clear almost immediately that everyone's attention should be shifted towards the titantron as the lights in the arena dim slightly and the words "last week at Emergence" appear on the bottom right hand corner of the titantron. The titantron begins to scroll through highlights of the highly anticipated one on one contest that took place at Emergence between AJ Styles and John Cena. The first picture shown is of AJ making his entrance at the event and after a few seconds we scroll to a photo of John Cena making his usual charge down the ramp at Emergence following his salute to the crowd.
The next photo shows Cena and AJ in their respective corners with the referee in the middle of the ring signalling for the bell, this photo is clearly on display to capture the sheer magnitude of the match that took place between these 2 at Emergence, it was something that fans wanted to see since March, and at Emergence they finally got their wish, and boy this encounter sure as hell didn't disappoint em. The photos of the best moments of the match continue to scroll across the tron for another 2-3 minutes, showcasing moments such as AJ hitting the AA on Cena to which Cena kicked out of, Cena's emphatic AA on Styles through the announcers table which sent the crowd into an absolute frenzy, Cena catching AJ out of mid air following a springboard 450 attempt and planting him with a thunderous AA, AJ's AA counter into a Styles Clash in which he only got a 2 count out of, and then we're finally taken to the final highlight photo, AJ flying through the air and subsequently connecting with a pinpoint Phenomenal Forearm on John Cena for the decisive 3 count. Following that final photo the tron goes back to the normal Anarchy graphics for a few seconds before....
Bullet Club fans and AJ marks rejoice in hearing the theme of the Phenomenal One echo throughout the arena whilst the casual member of the XWL Universe boo's as loud their lungs can possibly allow at the theme of the Bullet Club leader. AJ steps out onto the stage on perfect cue as usual to a raucous reaction from the fans in attendance tonight, AJ's in street clothes tonight signalling that he's more than likely not wrestling this evening, he's decked out in some jeans, some dark shades, a "Styles Club P1 4 Life" Bullet Club themed t-shirt, and his traditional leather jacket with hoodie covering his head. AJ flips his hoodie back on cue with the song as always causing his pyro to erupt on the stage and creating a must see entrance spectacle as usual. AJ stands on the stage for a few seconds with a big smile on his face before making his way down the ramp, along the way he see's a teenage girl on the left side of the ramp decked out in Cena gear from head to toe booing him at the top of her lungs, he walks over to her and does the "U Can't See Me" taunt right to her face, she rears her hand back preparing to slap the smirk right off of AJ's face but a man appearing to be her boyfriend grabs her hand in mid motion preventing her from making a mistake that could involve serious legal repercussions for her, AJ proceeds to mouth off "That's right, keep your pet on a leash!!!" before turning away and continuing down towards the ring. AJ walks up the steps and out onto the apron and rather than form the P1 logo with his gloves as he usually does, considering he's not in his ring gear right now, he throws up the "too sweet" instead causing a massive boo's and some cheers depending on what opinion you as a fan may have on AJ and the Bullet Club, some love em, most hate em, just the way it is, but the Phenomenal One doesn't seem to give a damn about what ANYONE thinks here tonight as he turns and enters the ring. AJ walks over to the announcers table side of the ring and signals for a mic, a ringside assistant quickly grabs one and runs over to hand it to AJ through the ropes, AJ takes the mic and signals for him to go back to whatever hole he crawled out of. AJ takes position in the center of the ring as his theme dies down, it appears as though the Phenomenal One is gonna address the XWL Universe.
(AJ Styles) I'd like to start off by pointing out a crucial fact about Emergence that people seem to be ignoring, probably on purpose because they can't accept the reality that Bullet Club rules the wrestling world, but nonetheless, Bullet Club reigned SUPREME at Emergence, my executioner Finn Balor finally took his place atop the throne and proved to the world that he is the ELITE of the ELITE in this company by becoming Elite Champion and subsequently killed the spirit of the Deadman once and for all. Dean and the SUPERIOR SAMI in this company, Mr. Sami FUCKING Callihan beat the breaks off the ol Golden Weasel and his little "best pal" over there in CM Punk as I knew they would because quite honestly? the golden weasel's a bitch and CM Punk hasn't been the "Best In The World" since like 2011, nowadays? he can't even refer to himself as the "Second Best In The World", he's just merely the "Second City Scumbag" and him and his little weasel pal outta just give up now whilst they still have a chance because at Emergence? Ambrose and Callihan proved that they're the most dangerous duo in pro wrestling today.
AJ cops a devious smile knowing that the Bullet Club truly displayed their dominance at Emergence and the Phenomenal One clearly loves every bit of it.
(AJ Styles) Now that I've spoken about my BC Brothers success at Emergence, it's time for me to address what you just saw on that screen up there (AJ points to the titantron) that was one of the most highly anticipated matchups of 2017 taking place inside of an XWL ring at Emergence, and yet not a single news outlet ran a story on it, not a single program for tonight's show highlighted or gave a preview about what could potentially be the fallout of said match, a match that was 6 freaking months in the making, not a single word, instead all the hype is around a bunch of people who can't even dream of matching my drawing power for this company. I'm the most EXPENSIVE superstar that this company has ever had the pleasure of sending a check to and yet my match with John Cena at Emergence is practically forgotten about, swept under the rug by the higher ups around here to promote "the up and coming superstars" around here, gimmie a freakin break...

The theme of The Miz begins to play as a livid AJ Styles looks towards the stage, being less than pleased having his time on the microphone interrupted. A few moments pass, almost as if making Styles wait for his arrival, before he walks out onto the stage with a microphone in hand, no theatrics on the side of The Miz and Maryse.
The Miz looks towards the ring, engaging in a staredown with his former rival. The last time these two men were in the same ring, it was during the Money in the Bank qualifying match weeks prior to Emergence, where The Miz would walk away with the win before ultimately failing to become Mr. Money in the Bank just twenty four hours ago. He eventually lifts his microphone up to his lips, ready to engage in a war of words with Styles.
The Miz Nothing anyone can do to stop it? Really? Seeing as I've just virtually done the impossible and stopped you from rambling on and on, stopping your “Club” should be a cakewalk. Hell, John Cena essentially stopped your “Club” on his own at Cyberslam, you know, before I handed you your “victory” over Cena. I do like, however, how you think holding a win over John Cena is something of significance, something that should give you a World Heavyweight Championship match because if that were the case, I would be getting a shot too.

And you know why? Because you, just like John Cena, are irrelevant and you have to resort to desperate measures to even get a reaction.
Everyone turns their attention towards the stage as another theme takes over the airways, sending the crowd to their feet. The superstars don't look too pleased though as John Cena comes out onto stage, dressed in his regular attire. He has a mic in hand and doesn't even bother coming down the ramp, able to see both of the two men he wants to talk to perfectly from where he is.
[John Cena] Well, well, well. What do we have here? Looks like the kings of the cheapshots! Though, at least one of you have a clean win over me, I guess I have to give you that. I'm a bit embarressed that you two come out here and claim to be the best in the back and act like no one else cares because from the way these fans have been reacting all night, almost everyone in the back are cared about.
The crowd pops for Cena who doesn't stop there.
[John Cena] But, let's get to the matter at hand shall we? There is still an issue at hand and you both seem pretty aware of it from how you two are both speaking about yourselves. The three of us still haven't had that match to figure out just which of us are the top of the three of us. I mean, AJ and I fought, so I guess I can't complain there but the two of us, we still got beef with you Miz. So, rather than splitting up and wasting time. Why don't the three of us settle this? AJ paces around the ring side to side furiously and thumps his mic with hand to make sure it's still on.
(AJ Styles) You know what John? that's fine by me, you wanna get the three of us in the ring ONE MORE TIME so that I can prove to the entire WORLD ONCE AGAIN that I'm not only better than you 2, but better then this entire fucking roster then by all means let's do it. At least with you John, I may believe that the way that you portray yourself to the world is not much of a reflection of who you truly are, at least I can respect you. You were man enough to step into the ring one on one with me and I kept BC at home and we just went to war, so as a man, and a competitor, you have my respect on that front. But you Miz, you're just a straight up BITCH! who hides behind his wife and uses her looks to get to where you are around here. Why do you think you're on the programs and arena posters? I'll tell ya why, it's not because of your in ring talent that you 100% lack, it's because ya got the French Canadian blonde bombshell on your arm. The crowd lets out a loud ooooooohhhh as they realize that AJ just burned Miz HARD right there.
(AJ Styles) So I tell ya what, since you and your wife wanna come out here and insult me and brag about how you ran up a ladder and snaked an opportunity from Me and Cena that led to a Money In The Bank match you proceeded to lose anyways, since you wanna come out here in an clear and poor attempt to try and gain yourself some relevance which you clearly lack, since you wanna just be a prick in general, than let's do what Cena said and settle this once and for all. Roulette, Styles vs Cena vs Miz ONE LAST TIME, but I'm gonna make this ABUNDANTLY CLEAR to the XWL hierarchy, WHEN I win that match, on the following Anarchy I sure as hell better be made the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship and if you don't? if you still proceed to snub me after winning yet another high profile pay per view match, then there's going to be hell to pay and the casualties will be on your hands, NOT MINE..... AJ throws the mic down and puts his shades back on before exiting the ring near the announcers table, not even taking the time to see if Miz was gonna accept this match proposal or not, it's clear that AJ's in no mood to listen to anymore of what Miz has to say and he makes that even clearer he hops the barricade and makes his way through the side tunnel which leads to the arena parking garage.
The Miz To the surprise of absolutely no one, AJ Styles has once again ran away after having a “mic drop” moment, at least he didn't quit like that last time, right?
The Miz turns his attention to Cena, who's still standing firmly on the stage.
The Miz And you... You just had to come out here and steal the spotlight from me and make this about you, didn't you? In case Styles hit you one too many times in the head, the last time the three of us were in the ring, I beat you both when I did what neither of you could and climbed a ladder to solidify my spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The Miz makes his way up the ramp with Maryse in tow as Cena hasn't taken his eyes off of the approaching superstar. Upon reaching the stage, The Miz gets face to face with the man that issued a challenge to him at Roulette.

With that said, he tosses the microphone over his shoulder as he and Maryse disappear backstage, leaving Cena with a smile etched on his face, their triple threat match virtually confirmed almost instantly, that being the final image before Anarchy heads into a commercial break.
#1 Contender's Match for the Intercontinental Championship
Due to complications with the game itself, we had to improvise. Triple H is playing the role of Bobby Roode. The long-lost third Young Buck is playing the role of Jeff Hardy. Cody went insane and reverted back to his Stardust character. Baron, for some reason, thought it was alright to show off his skinny fat.
Before Cody even has the chance to roll Brother Nero into a pin attempt, from behind comes another participant who rolls Cody up into a schoolboy pin of his own with a handful of tights.

In front of his fellow Canadians, Bobby Roode backed up his word and he managed to secure himself a match against Samoa Joe for the Intercontinental Championship. The Canadians in attendance were loud and proud of their own as he stole the win from Cody when he was only a fingertips length away from winning. They didn't care that it took a handful of tights to walk away with the win. They were only happy to see one of their own walk into the match and then walk out of the match a winner. The Glorious one didn't stick around in the ring to celebrate his win though because after the referee's hand came down for the third time, he used his last bit of energy to make a beeline out of the ring and away from the other three men who he had beaten moments ago.
[COREY GRAVES] Can you believe it, Mauro!? Things have just become absolutely GLORIOUS!
[MAURO RANALLO] We will have to see if Bobby Roode can carry forth this momentum into next week because it's official! Next week, in our main event of the evening, we will see our new number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship goes head to head with the champion himself, the Destroyer, Samoa Joe! Whether or not Bobby Roode has what it takes to defeat Samoa Joe is questionable, it should be a main event you can't miss!
The match had obviously taken its toll on the winner as he clutched his ribs while walking back up the ramp and away from the mayhem going on inside of the ring. Cody obviously looked rather frustrated while Baron looked something along the same lines, assuming that had to do with the fact he wasn't even part of the deciding fall. Brother Nero was still out following the Cross Rhodes and was being checked on the referee. Back to the winner of the match, Roode stood at the top of the stage now. His theme still echoed throughout the arena and as it got to that point in the song, hands extended out wide and he, along with the many people in attendance, shouted 'GLORIOUS!' in unison with his theme song. It's the last image we get a chance to see before we fade out and to a commercial break.

1. Change on the Horizon
Emergence saw a total of eight people competing for two Money in the Bank Briefcases. Two stood tall among the bodies, with Ruby Riot and Sami Zayn claiming a future title shot. With the turmoil the championships are currently in, having these two proven competitors waiting in the background for the perfect opportunity to cash in will certainly cast a shadow over anyone holding a championship.
2. Gods can be Slain
Finn Balor finally achieved what has eluded him for so long: a victory over The Undertaker. Now that Balor has laid the Deadman to rest and claimed the Elite championship as his own, where will he and the Bullet Club set their sights? Furthermore, what will The Undertaker do? Will he come for his title or will someone else step up to challenge Balor?
3. Sanity and Chaos
April managed to fend off yet another challenger, defeating Peyton Royce in a hard fought match. Unfortunately for her, instead of what should have been a well-deserved celebration, she was met with Bray Wyatt and his emissary Alexander Wolfe who delivered a vicious Sister Abigail to cap off a frightening message for the Women's champion. The Eater of Worlds is back, and he has shown that he is ready to take what is his.
4. Absolute Deletion
The Broken King Matt Hardy fell victim to Edge, and lost his championship as a result. This shocker was not to be savored for long however, as the dethroned Hardy took his own brand of revenge on Edge by DELETING him. Edge did not appear to be in any shape to compete following this and it has to leave the XWL universe what will happen as a result?
5.The Destroyer Stands Tall
Following JBL having his Intercontinental championship stripped from him, a revolutionary new tournament named The Shawn Michaels Classic was created with the purpose of finding the most qualified individual to become the new champion. After a grueling set of matches, Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman emerged as the final two competitors. Neither man pinned the other during the tournament, raising the stakes even more. In a brutal match, the two big men traded close call after close call, but in the end Samoa Joe claimed victory. Whoever is next better be prepared because Joe will not be put down easily.

Tables Match WINNER DECIDES #1 CONTENDER FOR THE ELITE TITLE
The arena goes dark as the arena begins to fill with smoke. A video begins playing on the titantron as the crowd begins to watch closely.
As the video ends a voice is heard throughout the arena.
???: He has arrived… The balance between good and evil. The one who has come to punish. The beginning and the end. This is not The Punisher…
Heartbeats begin to fill the arena as the crowd begin to boo and the Bullet Club fans begin to cheer. The heartbeats continue for a moment as the anonymous voice says one last thing.
???: The executioner has arrived.
Finn Balor rises from the smoke with a leather trench coat and a shotgun in his hand. He stands at the top of the ramp looking down at the ring. Finn smirks as he lifts the shotgun up and points it at the roof, firing a blank as pyro explodes throughout the arena. Balor throws the shotgun down as he walks toward the ring. Balor holds up his “too sweet” as he finally makes it to the bottom of the ramp. Balor stands for a moment looking up at the ring with a slight smirk on his face and then begins to walk up the steps. Balor climbs the turnbuckle and extends his arms as the crowd boos the Bullet Club member. Balor drops from the turnbuckle and stands in his corner as he takes his entrance gear off.
The lights go out as a gong echoes around the arena. The fans hop out of their seats as The Deadman makes his arrival. Nothing in the arena can be seen as the gong continues to to play. The gong is heard one last time as the lights come back on and aker is seen standing right in front of Balor. Balor jumps in fright as Taker smirks and takes his Elite title off his shoulder and the ref rings the bell for the match to start.
After 15 minutes of back and forth action, both competitors are laying on the ground with two tables set up, one in the corner and one outside the ring. Taker then sits up as he looks down at Balor as he also begins to stir. Balor makes his way to the ropes as Taker begins to stand up. As both competitors make it to their feet, they stare down. Taker then slides his thumb across his throat as Balor laughs. Balor throws a forearm hitting Taker square in the cheek. Taker then retaliates with a strong right hand knocking Balor to his knee. Balor stands back up and the two begin to go back and forth with punches.
Corey Graves: This is a war between these two long time rivals. There is barely any gas left in the tank of either competitor and they continue to give it their all.
Taker throws one last punch knocking Balor towards the ropes as a table is set up right under him. Taker sees his moment as he attempts to clothesline Balor over the ropes and onto the table. As Taker runs to the ropes, Balor grabs the top rope and pulls it down forcing Taker to hop over onto the apron. Balor then immediately leans back and hits Taker with a pele kick. Taker staggers for a moment against the ropes and then out of nowhere… falls back onto the table.
DING DING DING!!
Mauro Ranallo: Oh my Corey!Finn Balor gets to choose the next challenger for the title! I didn’t think it would end like this but it did!
After the match, Balor rises to his feet. He looks down at the broken body of the Undertaker as his theme as Finn’s theme sounds throughout the arena. A smile crosses the face of Balor as he motions toward the ramp.
The Bullet Club Theme echoes through the arena as members begin coming out one by one clapping their hands for Finn Balor’s victory over The Deadman. The members then rush toward The Deadman and begin ganging up on the beaten Taker. Aj Styles throws Taker in the ring and gets in as the rest of the members follow him. Finn grabs a mic and begins to speak.
Finn Balor: This is what happens to so called gods that think they can run over the Bullet Club! You end up with a bullet right between your eyes. Everyone in the back! Look at this! (Balor kneels over Taker holding his head up by his hair) This is what happens when you cross the Club! Now… I have important matters to discuss. The stipulation was that whoever wins gets to pick your opponent for your next Elite Title Match. Hmmm… should it be… Sami Callihan!? (The crowd boos as Sami puts up a middle finger to them all) Or maybe it can be, Dean Ambrose!? (The crowd continues to boo as Dean brushes them off and laughs) How about, The Phenomenal One, AJ STYLES!? (Some of the crowd cheer at the dream match but most continue to boo) Hmmm… decisions, decisions.
The Bullet Club gather in a circle for a moment and begin to plan their next move. As the circle breaks up, Balor turns back toward the camera smiling.
Finn Balor: We have come to a decision… The next contender for your title Taker… IS ME!
The crowd boos heavily at Finn as he holds his arms out embracing the hate.
Finn Balor: I have even better news for you Taker… Layla told me that whoever accepts the match can have it whenever they want. SO WHAT DO YOU SAY ONTARIO!? DO YOU WANNA SEE A NEW ELITE CHAMPION!?
Taker rises from the ground into a sitting position, scaring the members of The Bullet Club. With one move of his hand he moves his thumb across his throat. Balor smirks as he begins stomping a mudhole into Taker. The other members of The Bullet Club leave the ring as the ref rings the bell. Balor continues stomping as Taker lies on the ground. Balor gets on his knee over taker and grabs him by the hair mouthing words inaudible to the camera. As he finishes speaking, he picks Taker off the ground and hits him with a Bloody Sunday. Balor then pins The Phenom.

Taker kicks out last second as the crowd rises to their feet in celebration. As he gets his shoulder off the mat, Balor wastes no time jumping back on the attack with punches to the face. Balor yells at him ”STAY DOWN!”
Mauro Ranallo: There is no quit in The Undertaker. Even after being beaten like this… he still continues to give it his all.
Corey Graves: But is it enough to beat Finn? No sadly… It wont be. Taker has already been through too much. Balor then climbs the ropes and as he looks down at the broken body of Taker, he points his finger gun at him and pulls the trigger before hitting him with a Coup De Grace. Balor then pins Taker once again.

The crowd begins to boo and throw their trash into the ring as Balor rises to his feet. He is met by the referee holding the Elite Title. Balor grabs the title as the ref raises his hand in victory.
Lillian Garcia: Here is your winner… AND NEW ELITE CHAMPION, FINN BALOR!
Corey Graves: Finn has finally done it. He has achieved his dream and finally placed The Undertaker in his final resting place and taken the gold. Rest. In. Peace.
Balor falls to his knees in joy as the Bullet Club join him in the ring. The members lift him up as he holds the title up.
Out of nowhere the screen goes static and the arena goes dark. The lights stay out for a few moments as a heartbeat is heard around the arena. As the lights come back on, Balor is nowhere to be seen. The Bullet Club look around for him but Finn has vanished. The members run to the back looking for him as the camera cuts to Taker laying in the ring. The arena the fills with cheers as they chant, “THANK YOU TAKER!”
Taker sits up as he looks out at the crowd. The chants continue as the lights suddenly go out. The crowd then goes silent as the the lights come back on and Taker is nowhere to be seen.
Corey Graves: Both Taker and Balor vanish and apparently are nowhere to be seen… what’s going on here in XWL? The camera cuts to the next segment.
XWL returns to the arena, all the fans anxiously waiting for the main event to take place, the restrooms and concessions: a ghost town, every seat in the arena was filled and were waiting for the arrival of the Dead Man, the Elite Champion, the god of death. While the fans waited, they also seemed to be a little uneasy because one thought that ran across the mind of their minds was, who was actually brave enough to take on The Undertaker. They would soon find out as the lights dropped low.
Lightning slammed in the middle of the ring, while the gong sounded and the light's were completely blacked out; there was no vision period, not a man could see their hand in front of them. But after that gong, the light's were only out for a few seconds, long enough for the bolt of lightning. However, though the light's were out for a short time, when the lights came back up, The Undertaker was in the ring, his championship shining around his waist. Undertaker already had his coat off and his hat was still on and as he stood there his head was looking towards the ground. To this sight, the fans gave an ovation because that was quite impressive to see, even though this has been Undertaker's preferred entrance for weeks now. As the Undertaker stood in the ring with his hat blocking his eyes, and his Elite Championship around his waist, the Undertaker reaches one hand to the back of his hat and the other at the front.
Undertaker was ready for combat and after he removed his hat, lightning sounded and his eyes rolled to the back of his head. Undertaker then turned his gaze to the front of the ramp, and paced back and forth almost wildly-- his mood seemed different. Undertaker's blood seemed not to boil, but it was as if he was eager to do battle, Undertaker's eyes held focus, but rage and fury hid well underneath, as he waited and after just a few moments, the Undertaker stopped in his place to and now his blood boiled because of his opponent for tonight. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
As that tune sounded, The Undertaker stopped pacing and leaned on the top rope-- pushing down with both hands, his eyes rolled to the back of his head. Now his eyes held a very intense rage, but in Undertaker's mind the only question was, who is next to be buried. He soon revealed himself with walking through the curtain and looking The Undertaker straight in the eyes.
Sami Callihan, pointed at The Undertaker at the top of the ramp and yelled at him pertaining some unfinished business with him. After this Callihan, marched down that ramp keeping eye contact all the way down and as he stepped into those ropes, it was almost like he propelled himself in the ring because he slammed his chest into The Undertaker, who returned with a bump of his own and the two were face to face. Callihan showed no intention of backing down, or that he was scared. He had a bone to pick. After a moment, these two looked ready to kill each other and the ref had no choice but to step in and separate the two into different corners. After a moment the ref took the Undertaker's title and held it high in the air.
It was after this, that the two men were prepared to fight, and the ref ran the bell for this Elite Championship match, and battle between the Bullet Club and The Undertaker to begin.

As the match concludes the Undertaker rolls out of the Tombstone cover and lays flat on his back. Upon victory darkness descends on the arena and smoke again fills as the ringside area as the Undertaker is laying on his back with his eyes wide open. Undertaker was not breathing heavily, however it seemed as though he was processing the ability of the opponent he just faced and where his loyalties lied. After a few moments of the Undertaker of reviewing in his mind a smirk comes across the face of the god of death. keeping this evil smirk across his face the Undertaker sits up and has a menacing look in his eyes to match. As the Undertaker rose to his feet, Lillian Garcia raises up her microphone to declare the winner.
[Lillian Garcia] Here is your winner, and STILL your XWL Elite Champion: The Undertaker!
As this announcement was made The Undertaker receives his title from the official of the match. As it falls into the hands of the Phenom, the title seems to shine a little brighter and when it was in his hands the Undertaker tightened his grasp around it. Before pacing around the ring, The Undertaker holds the title up to eye level and stares at the title. In his mind he asked himself why people lose their senses over a piece of gold. Better yet, he asked why it seems as though no man would challenge his reign over the over prideful bullet club. As the Undertaker had this mental dialogue, our commentary team takes over.
[Mauro Ranallo] What a match, or rematch I should say between Sami Calihan and The Undertaker. You could really tell they were putting everything on the line and grabbing at any opportunity to ensure victory.
[Corey Graves] Yeah, Mauro, but in the end The Undertaker proved again that he might just be a god among men in XWL. Sami made just one mistake though, it could have gone either way; however, if one thing is certain, there was even more bad blood between those two tonight. Both men, looked like they had every intention to kill the other. Ever since, Sami joined the Bullet Club and Undertaker declared war on the renewed brotherhood, things have gotten extremely tense and the last time Undertaker fought Calihan, Sami had the Dead Man's number.
[Mauro Ranallo] Let's take a moment though to expand on the topic of the Undertaker vs Bullet Club. This is a group of men versus one Phenom, and all of those men are very well known and successful in the business, I don't care how you put it, Legend or not, The Undertaker can't beat those odds on his own. They got him at Cyberslam, and you can believe they can do it again. He is the only person, being or whatever that is trying to stop them, and with no one else halting their assaults, they can get the Dead Man whenever they want and no one will stop them.
[Corey Graves] What are you on, Mauro? Sure they are big names in the industry, but this is the Undertaker we are talking about. This is the legend, who is known as a god around here, in the WWE he was a multi-time world champion, along with a undefeated streak at the biggest pay-per-view for twenty one straight years. A master of mind games, and has defeated the greatest superstars and odds possible. And sure, they can gang up on them, but haven't you seen the Undertaker leave a trail of broken bodies and souls in his destruction of the Bullet Club? He beat Balor twice, one of those matches was against Brock Lesnar as well. He beat both Gallows and Anderson and now the Undertaker just knocked off Sami Calihan. Right now in this war, The Undertaker is three and zero.
[Mauro Ranallo] Come on, any person can throw statistics around, and though that may seem like the case, one thing is certain: This war is not over yet, but I guess for tonight the Undertaker stands tall.
The Undertaker lowers the title to his side and still holds it tightly as he does so, Undertaker begins to walk around the ring; staring through each soul as he slowly paces. After walking around and surveying the crowd, The Undertaker was again in the middle of the ring. At this point, the Undertaker faces towards the ramp and drops to a knee. The Phenom lifts his championship high, to not only celebrate another championship defense, but to also recognize another victory over the Bullet Club.
The Bullet Club anthem echoes around the arena as Taker and the thousands in attendance rise to their feet in anticipation. The crowd’s mixed response fills the arena as Taker waits for a sign of the Bullet Club. AJ Styles walks onto the ramp as the crowd goes nuts. Taker gets pumped as his #1 Target makes his appearance.
Corey Graves: The Undertaker has been waiting for this for a long time! It’s finally time that he gets what he wants! AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker!
Mauro Ranallo: The energy in this arena is mind blowing! This will be the showdown of a lifetime!
Taker motions AJ to come get some but AJ doesn’t move. Taker stands there waiting as AJ looks at Taker with a smile on his face. Then suddenly out of nowhere. . . . BAM!
Gallows and Anderson attack Taker from behind as the crowd begins to boo. AJ is standing on the ramp laughing as the duo continue the beatdown on Taker. Punch after punch, kick after kick, Taker is beaten down like never before. Gallows and Anderson pick up the beaten body of Taker and hit him with their finisher… The Magic Killer.
Mauro Ranallo: The good brothers send Taker to the mat with The Magic Killer! A blindside attack! This was AJ’s plan all along!
Balor's music hits as he walks onto the ramp. He smiles as AJ greets him. Balor then runs to the ring and begins an assault on The Deadman. Stomp after stomp, Balor stomps a mudhole into the XWL Elite Champion with no remorse. As he finishes stomping he lifts Taker off the ground. Balor looks Taker in the face as he cuts his throat and hits him witha Bloody Sunday. Balor looks up as he kneels over the body of Taker and smirks.
The camera shows AJ still smiling. The attack isn’t over yet. AJ motions another person to make their way to the ring and that person appears to be none other than Dean Ambrose, Dean quickly too sweets AJ on the top of the ramp before darting down towards the ring and sliding under the bottom rope. Ambrose mounts the downed Taker and begins to unleash a flurry of strikes on him, the barrage of strikes ends up busting the Deadman open, upon seeing the blood Ambrose is like a shark who smells blood in the water, he pounces on his pray with even more strikes to his skull. Ambrose pauses after damn near 30-40 punches and looks at his formerly white wrist tape that is now completely covered in the Deadman's blood and a sadistic smile comes across his face.
Ambrose looks towards the top of the ramp where AJ once stood but while Ambrose was beating down Taker, AJ made his way down the ramp and now stands on the apron applauding the work of his BC brothers. Ambrose drags the near lifeless body of the Deadman up to one knee where he proceeds to hook the arms of The Undertaker, Ambrose locks eyes with AJ almost as if he's waiting for the go ahead to put the Deadman down, AJ smiles and aims a gun taunt at Taker and a few seconds later pulls the trigger on it causing Ambrose to simultaneously plant Undertaker with Dirty Deeds.
AJ enters the ring and too sweets all of his Bullet Club brothers before suddenly out of nowhere, a disgruntled Sami Callihan rolls back into the ring and sprints over to Taker's body which is lying face first in a bloody heap in the middle of the ring, Callihan performs a cutthroat taunt of his own and lets out a huge scream before hooking Taker's arms, lifting him up, and spiking him straight down on his head with the Sami Driller. Callihan's Bullet Club brothers are taken aback slightly by the insanity shown by Callihan there but after a few seconds they all throw up the too sweet for Callihan and he accepts whilst displaying a sinister smirk across his face. AJ walks over to the timekeepers side of the ring and signals for a mic, a ringside tech grabs a mic and walks over to the side of the ring to hand it to Styles, AJ grabs the mic and walks over to the center of the ring where he stands above Taker's near lifeless corpse with his Bullet Club Brothers surrounding him.

(AJ points to all the members of BC which flank him on both sides)this is a brotherhood, this is a family, and THIS (AJ points to Taker beneath him) is what happens when you threaten our brotherhood and when you threaten our family. AJ tosses the mic down as Bullet Club's theme begins to play throughout the arena, AJ lifts Taker's head slightly off the mat and sticks the gun right to the side of his head with the gun taunt before pulling the trigger and letting go of his head causing it to fall flat face first on the mat in a pool of blood. All the members of Bullet Club throw up the too sweet's to each other and fire off gun taunts at the camera and at the XWL Universe as Anarchy goes off the air.
The XWL Universe is in complete shock as the theme of the Phenomenal One began to play throughout the arena, this capacity crowd are in shock because AJ Styles has just pinned the World Heavyweight Champion in the middle of the ring CLEANLY. No Bullet Club, no outsiders, no shenanigans, just a Styles Clash and a 3 count for the Phenomenal One.
Some rebellious AJ Styles fans and Bullet Club fans in the crowd cheer at the top of their lungs in support of AJ's victory, but sadly for them, they're in the minority and their supportive cheers are drowned out by deafening boo's as most of this crowd is displeased with AJ's victory over the Broken World Champion, the crowd's displeasure sure as hell doesn't seem to phase The Phenomenal One as a huge smile is displayed across his face as the referee raises his hand in victory.
(Lillian Garcia) Here is your winner! The Phenomenal!!! AAAAAJJJJAAAYYYYYY STTTYYLLLLESSS!!!
AJ shrugs off the referee's hand and walks over to the side of the ring nearest to the timekeeper's area and signals for Lillian to come towards the ring, Lillian hesitantly walks over and AJ points to the microphone in her hand and signals for her to hand it over to him, Lillian walks over to the ring and hands over the mic to AJ through the ropes. AJ walks over to the center of the ring and his smile grows bigger as the boo's grow louder.
(AJ Styles) Judging by your reaction, I can tell that all of you are just absolutely THRILLED with what you've just witnessed!!! The boo's grow and grow by the second as fans continue to voice their displeasure towards AJ.
(AJ Styles) Ohhhhh I'm sorry...Are ya'll upset that the Broken King just got knocked off his damn throne? WELL TOO FREAKING BAD!!!! Ya see, I look out there (AJ points towards the fans in attendance) into the eyes of thousands of members of the XWL Universe and not only do I see your clear displeasure over the fact that AJ Styles came out on the winning end tonight, but what's truly shocking to me is that you people seem surprised by it....
AJ stands in place and shakes his head because he truly can't fathom how people would be surprised at him beating the World Heavyweight Champion Broken Matt Hardy, a man who he's already beaten in one on one competition earlier this year.
(AJ Styles) Ya wanna know who's not surprised at AJ Styles pinning the World Heavyweight Champion? ME!!! BECAUSE I'VE BEEN TELLING YOU PEOPLE FOR MONTHS THAT I AM THE FACE OF XWL!!!! (AJ Styles) Here's what's gonna happen ya little fruity pebble punk, next week on Anarchy I'm gonna be sitting in this ring at the negotiating table and we can draw up a contract and make this official, AJ Styles vs John Cena at Emergence and this way John, I can kill 2 birds with one stone, I can pin you AGAIN, and secondly I can erase any doubts in people's minds that AJ Styles needs Bullet Club to win his matches. I sure as hell didn't need my brothers here tonight when I knocked off the World Heavyweight Champion, and I won't need em at Emergence either, but just so that John Cena's little mind can rest easy at night going into that match, I'll go the extra mile just to put your mind at ease Johnny boy, Bullet Club will be BANNED from ringside. It'll just be me, you, the squared circle, and all the precious little members of the Cenation to cheer you on, but just know this John, it still won't be enough. Starting on the Anarchy following XWL's PPV EMERGENCE, the power rankings will be coming to XWL. It will be posted weekly with the top 5 superstars based on several different factors. (Match quality, promo quality, memorable moments, ect.) it will be discussed between a few admins and myself so it will not be biased. A small incentive to being on this will not only be recognition for ones hard work, but also a few points added to that characters store. The numbers are as followed.
Now above me is the numbers for the men, but fear not. The women of wrestling have been proving that they are just as skilled, if not more so, in the ring than men. I haven't forgotten about you, so there will also be a power rankings for XWL's Women's Division. Same guidelines apply, although since there a fewer women than men here in XWL, there will also be fewer spots on their power rankings. Here are their point rewards.
Anarchy’s intro fades as fireworks begin going off as the fans are going wild over the fact that Anarchy is about to begin. As the fireworks fade the camera cuts to Corey Graves and Mauro Ranallo.
Maura Ranallo: Hello and welcome to another episode of XWL Anarchy! Tonight you won’t be disappointed because we have our World Champion, The Broken King himself in the building! He is going face to face with the #1 Contender for his title Seth Rollins FOR THE WORLD TITLE! MAMA MIA!
Corey Graves: Yes, Mauro. That will definitely be a great main event but let’s talk about The Boss finally standing up to Sister April. She claims she is going to show her for the fraud she is and I honestly can’t wait for these games to be over.
Mauro Ranallo: We’ll see if she’s actually playing games or maybe she’s telling the truth. On another note… we’re sorry to say fans that there will not be a Money In The Bank qualifier this week but we promise to pick back up with that next week but let’s enjoy tonight’s action!
Finn’s music begins to play as he walks from the curtain and stands in the smoke for a moment. The look on Balor’s face shows that he is not playing any games this week. A look of anger and frustration fills the face of Finn as he stands at the announce table. Balor rolls into the ring with a mic in hand as words begin to shoot out of his mouth like bullets.
Finn Balor: Are you serious?! No qualifier tonight? You’ve got to be kidding me! I am the best in this business and once again XWL screws me over.
Balor throws Mauro’s headset off his head before walking to the ring in anger.
Finn Balor: Another week… Another week that one of your top guys is pushed aside in another meaningless match. Week after week I come out here and give these bottom feeders a reason to watch this show and I still haven’t been given the chance that I deserve. I give this company everything I got and I don’t have shit to show for it. That ends now. This marks the end of Finn Balor waiting his turn. I will no longer sit back and watch as everyone else get chance after chance and fail. It’s my time. So, Layla. Vince. I DEMAND A CHANCE! I DEMAND A QUALIFIER FOR THE MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH!
Layla’s music begins to be played as the fans begin to cheer at the sound of the legend’s music. Layla walks out from the curtain with a mic in her hand and a questioning look on her face.
Layla: Finn, Finn, Finn, hold on a minute. What exactly have you done to even deserve a shot at the big leagues? Last time I checked… you couldn’t even win the Elite Title.
The fans go nuts at Layla’s burn as Finn goes psycho in the ring.
Layla: But… you do have a point. Ever since you joined the Bullet Club you have opened up another side of yourself that we here at XWL have never seen before. We don’t usually reward chaos, but isn’t the show named Anarchy?
The fans continue to cheer as Finn begins to listen more closely to what Layla has to say.
Layla: So, with that being said, two gentlemen have taken an exception to how you and The Bullet Club have operated, now seeing as they've been impressing people as much as you have these last couple of weeks, I say we make a match of that. So, it will be you Finn Balor representing The Bullet Club versus either Enzo Amore or Big Cass. You stepped up to the plate to redeem The Bullet Club so it's only fair I allow them that same opportunity to choose which one of them battles you in a Ladder Match, TONIGHT! But be careful Finn… You might not get another chance if you fail this time.
Finn climbs the turnbuckle and starts cheering after the huge announcement. Finn then puts his lips to the mic.
Finn Balor: Well, it’s about damn time that I got what I deserved here. This should have been announced weeks ago. I hope all of you scumbags in the seats and at home are ready for the match of the night. A match even bigger than the main event tonight! All of you will see that I finally get what I deserve when I finally get my spot in the Money In The Bank Match. And …I got one thing to tell you Enzo and Cass… YOU CAN’T RUN!! YOU CAN’T HIDE!! AND YOU DAMN SURE CAN’T OUTRUN A BULLET!!
Finn Balor throws down the mic in excitement as he climbs the turnbuckle one more time throwing his arms out as his music begins playing. Finn puts his finger to his head and “pulls the trigger” as the camera cuts to the next scene.
Alright so test promos will be required, and given that Braun's circumstance is very recent, we have a subject for both applicants to center their promo around. Braun just lost to Seth for the #1 contendership.
So keeping that in mind, who Braun is, make your promo be the fallout of that.
The crowd cheers as Seth Rollins walks through the back. Seth has a look of pure determination on his face as he cracks his neck. He stops right before the curtain, and takes a deep breath it's just then that Renee runs up to Seth
[Renee Young] Seth! Seth! I just want to hear what's on your mind going into a match against the monster like Braun Strowman
Seth smiles a weak smile as he turns to Renee
[Seth Rollins] Cyberslam didn't go the way I wanted it to. I was close, but more people wanted to see Edge. And hey, I understand. Controversy and loud things get people's attention. I mean, just look at the rant and excuses he went on earlier. But he squandered his chance. This is mine. And if you want to be honest, I deserve this. I honed my craft this last year to turn myself into a better wrestler and a better man than I used to be. I been to battles and even wars in the last year and I've always been the last man standing. Because that's what I do. I persevere and I keep going. Which is exactly what i'm gonna do tonight
Seth looks towards the curtain and turns his back on Renee Young. He looks back to her one more time
[Seth Rollins] I'm not gonna lie. Strowman is a huge obstacle and I'm gonna have to throw everything at him to get the job done. But that's okay, cause that's what I do best. I get the job done. I would have done it at Cyberslam. I'm gonna do it now. And more importantly, I'm gonna do it against Broken Matt and take the title I've wanted for so long. If you don't believe me, just watch and be amazed
Seth grins and walks through the curtain. As he disappears you hear the crowd get off their feet for the Architect!
World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contenders Match
The crowd has lost their mines as Seth crawls off of Strowman, the victor!
[Mauro Ranallo] Did you see that?! Mama MIA! That curb stomp on the chair was the end for Strowman!
[Corey Graves] I can't exactly fault Seth. It was gonna take a drastic move like that to keep Strowman down
Seth finally stands up and fist pumps towards the crowd. He ascends the top rope and holds his hands high into the air as the crowd's approval washes over him. This is Seth's moment! This is his time! And as Seth is caught in the moment he doesn't even see it coming
[Mauro Ranallo] Seth! Don't turn around!
But Seth can't hear Mauro. He hops off the top rope, big smile on his face, and has his head damn near caved in by a vicious chair shot! One moment Seth is on top of the world and the next he's staring up at the ceiling. The holder of the chair grins down upon Seth. Edge. The crowd, who already hated Edge's guts earlier in the night, are livid with the Rated R Superstar who doesn't look like he could care less. He holds the chair high into the air for the crowd to boo. Seth has rolled over and is crawling slowly, trying to get to the ropes. His forehead has been cut open by that savage chair shot. Edge looks down and gets an irritated look on his face. As if Rollins has the audacity to be moving. Edge shakes his head and raises the chair high above his head
[Corey Graves] Edge is losing his mind right now
[Mauro Ranallo] Someone needs to stop him!
Edge brings the chair down on the back of Seth who cries out in pain. Edge, liking the sound, does it again. And again. And again! Edge is trying to break the chair in half over Seth Rollins' back! Seth has stopped moving and Edge throws the chair out of the ring. Edge finally having enough goes to leave through the ropes, but stops. He looks at Rollins and the sadistic look of the Rated R Superstar returns
[Mauro Ranallo] Oh come on, he's had enough Edge!
Edge seems to disagree because he has Seth's hair in his hands and is lifting him on to his feet. Edge whips Seth into the ropes as hard as he can. As Seth rebounds he is damn near broken in half by a spear from Edge! Edge crawls to Seth's level and begins to scream into his face
[Edge] I AM BETTER THAN YOU! DO YOU HEAR ME?! I'M THE BEST DAMN WRESTLER ALIVE AND YOU WILL NEVER BE ON MY LEVEL KID!
With that Edge gets up and starts to beat his chest rapidly, much like Rollins does. From the response of the crowd Edge is easily one of the most hated wrestlers in XWL. But Edge doesn't care. Instead XWL goes to commercial break the last image being Edge standing over Seth's broken body
We are taken to the backstage area where Renee Young is attempting to get some thoughts from the Bullet Club following The Undertaker's call out earlier in the night on the live Anarchy broadcast. Renee approaches a door that has a sign on it indicating this door in fact leads to the Bullet Club's exclusive locker room. Renee proceeds to knock on the door.
(Renee Young) Hello, anyone in there? It's Renee Young looking to get some comments from Bullet Club on what the Undertaker had to say earlier in the night.
Sounds of footsteps on the other side of the door are picked up by the camera's microphone, the footsteps get closer and closer before the sound of metal moving around can be heard indicating that the door is being unlocked, suddenly the door peaks open slightly before being forcefully kicked open by the man on the other side of the door which startles Renee and her crew, that man is none other then Finn Balor who appears to have a look of pure anger and rage on his face, almost resembling the look of a demon in human form. More footsteps are picked up and now that the door is wide open, we can see that the other man exiting the locker room is The Phenomenal One, the leader of the Bullet Club, AJ Styles. Styles approaches Balor and pats him on the back before taking position to the left side of him. Renee and her crew slowly approach the men and begin to interview them.
(Renee Young) I appreciate your time gentleman, I......
Styles holds his hand up and immediately cuts Renee off.
(AJ Styles) No Renee, I don't actually believe that you do appreciate our time, I don't think you understand just how valuable our time is. it's difficult being the top guys around here, but more importantly? it's time consuming. The Bullet Club is not only an XWL entity Renee, the Bullet Club is WORLDWIDE. Our merchandise is selling out in stores around the globe, we fly all around this freakin planet making appearances in various countries every single week, and why do we do it? because the Bullet Club rules the wrestling world, our goal is to expand and get bigger and badder every single freakin day. We're not shortsighted nor are we single minded, XWL may be the biggest game in town, but it isn't the only game, taking over this company is our #1 objective, it's our mission to rule this company, but at the end of the day? it's not about 1 company, it's not about the little picture, it's about the big picture, and the big picture is the Bullet Club ruling the wrestling world with an iron fist, and that means every company, in every country, do you understand Renee?
(Renee Young) Yes I think I get the point AJ.
AJ laughs off Renee's response...
(AJ Styles) Oh so now you wanna get snarky with me? I'm not surprised considering how you at one point were banging the most arrogant, egomaniac, golden jackass that this company has ever seen, I see more then the white stuff rubbed off on ya... Renee cannot believe what she's just heard but being the professional she is, she attempts to handle it in the best way possible. (Renee Young) That's one of the most distasteful, and disrespectful things I've ever heard around here, but coming from you AJ, I can't say I'm surprised. But I'm gonna do my job and ask the question I came here to ask, what is the Bullet Club's thoughts on the Undertaker?
Balor sits there for a moment with disgust in his face and hatred in his heart. He knows how close he was to winning the Elite title and he is about to make his frustrations known.
Finn Balor: This close… I came this close to beating you last night Taker. You thought you were done with me but The Bullet Club is a plague. We will find you and we will end you. I’m not going to be finished with you until you are done for Taker. The Bullet Club does not take lightly to your empty threats. If you want us. You got us. Tell me a place and time and I will be there. I don’t need anyone else to beat you Taker. I have your number, but my friends aren’t afraid to give you another beating. The Bullet Club has given me new life and a new purpose and I’m so much better now with my good brothers by my side. We will end your façade as a “god” and show you the even gods can fall to the Bullet Club. We will hunt you down like a pack of wild dogs. You can’t escape us Taker… You wanna know why?
Balor looks over at AJ as Balor puts a finger to his head and AJ points at the camera.

Camera cuts to the ring where a superstars entrance music blazes through the arena which recieves a huge pop from the crowd.
Corey Graves: Well here comes the resident fossil of XWL honestly I wish he would just retire already instead of holding back such great talent like a man like Eli Drake. We all know Cactus is passed his best here.
Mauro Ranallo: Passed his best? Did you receive some sort of brain damage last night? Cactus Jack proved he still has what it takes to hang with the best here in XWL with his victory last night. You are just bitter Corey that he beat one of your favourite guys here in XWL.
Cactus Jack appears on the entrance way which recieves another huge cheer from the crowd. They are certaintly happy to see him as he makes his way down to the ring. He grabs a microphone from ring side and climbs into the ring and begins to speak.
Cactus Jack: Well thank you for the war reception here tonight it means a lot. Now many of you fans here are probably wondering what is next for Cactus Jack well that is my point for being out here tonight. Now last night I did compete in a war with Eli Drake and although I don't like you Eli you have earned my respect you took me to my limits but at the end of the day as I told you I would get my revenge and I did. I beat you all over the place and it wouldn't surprise me if you ended up injured last night but you did put up a good fight theres no questioning your toughness or reslove but at the end of the day I had to teach you a lesson and damn boy you recieved one hell of a lesson on not pissing off the so called fossil of XWL.
Cactus Jack: Now that you are in my rear mirror its time to move onto something different around here and its time I got myself some gold round this big waist of mine don't you think?

Cactus Jack: So with that being said which title should I go for? Now Kruger has picked up his ball and went home that means I can challenege for the IC title and that title would look good around my waist but I think its time that this old fossil finally gets his shot at the top of the mountain. I think its time that yours truly recieved a shot at the world title don't you?

Cactus Jack: Now I think I have earned that right. I beat brock lesnar when he was world champion in a none title event, I was the first one to beat broken matt in XWL so theres another world title holder checked off the list, I have torn through this place and knocked down challenger after challeneger and I think it is about time that I was given what I have earned and that is a shot at the world title so with that being said come on out here Layla it is time to discuss some buisness.
Ask and you shall receive, though it takes a few seconds longer than normal, perhaps because Layla was dealing with another matter, like preparing for tonight's Main-Event Intercontinental Championship Match...but soon she's out on the stage, and making her way down the ramp. She passes by the fans smiling their way, as one shouts out "ADD CACTUS TO TONIGHT'S #1 CONTENDER MATCH!" to which she just continues smiling until she's now at the ring. Within moments later The General Manager has made her way up the steel steps and is stepping through the ropes, raising a microphone without much more delay.
Layla: So you wanna discuss business, do you? Well, Cactus here I am, and first and foremost I'd like to commend you for really giving it everything you have since returning back at the very beginning of June. You came out, you knew what you wanted, and that determination fueled you to issue an open challenge...that didn't exactly go as well as you had hoped I know, but you didn't let that deter you, did you? No, when Eli Drake bragged to the moon about your defeat, it awakened something inside you, something you haven't had in a while, it's the reason you fell behind the pack for a little bit...but as we saw last night at Cyberslam, that fire is raging...and at last left Eli Drake in defeat. So congratulations Cactus, not only do you still have "IT" I think it's safe to say that you never truly lost it in the first place. Now, I was in the middle of a conversation with Vince on the phone just before I came out here, so I'm a little lost on what you want to discuss, but here I am and the floor is yours.
She lowers her microphone, and motions with her other hand for Cactus to please speak his peace.
Cactus Jack: Well I am glad you are finally taking notice Layla that I am still a player here it has taken a while but at least I am finally grabbing your attention here and your damn right the fire is raging. The furnace is lit and there is nothing that is going to put it out. I have been over looked for far to long now and I won't take it anymore I deserve my shot at greatness my shot at the top of the mountain and I am here to ask in fact no I am demanding a shot to cement my legacy here in XWL. Now I will be the first to admit it I am old and my career is catching up to me with all the abuse my body has taken and I will be damned if I don't finish my career with one final title run or two here in this company. Now I have been in this company for over a year now and I think its fair to say I have given my all for this company.
Cactus Jack: Now some might say well when I came back I fought for a different banner and yes that is true when I came back I was fighting for my old company and I still say to this day that I would have succeeded if it wasn't for my brothers getting greedy and going after personal goals so I gave up the fight and I tried to work my way back into the system and I jumped every hurdle you people threw at me, I played your games, I even went to war with my ex brothers in arms for you people. I was liked your hired hit man I took on my ex brothers in arms Sami Zayn, The Undertaker and I think everyone remembers the wars I had with Leo Kruger. You prayed on that, you people knew that we would tear each other apart and we did I even put up a stipulation with my fight with Kruger just to get my hand on him and when I lost I didn't complain I didn't moan I just got on with it whilst you kept poking the bear meaning me. I petitioned for my chance at the world title all I wanted was a one on one number one contenders match to prove myself but no I was put in a battle royal which you people threatened to take me out off.
Cactus Jack: I have played your games, I have bent to your will but now enough is enough I won't take it anymore do you hear me?! I am here tonight to put my career on the right path to greatness. To set my legacy in stone before I have to retire from this great business. I will be damned if I go down as the guy who couldn't win the big one or the guy who yeah you could get good matches out of him, he was entertaining but unfortunately, he was B plus player and was never going to make it as a world champion here in XWL. Well damn it I refuse to be looked down upon, I refuse to believe that I can't stand at the mountain top here in XWL so my question to you Layla is what are you going to do about it?
Nodding with every word Cactus said, it was evident that Layla took what he said seriously, and she can understand how he feels.
Layla: Listen Cactus, I know what it's like to be in the later years of your career, you want to do so much more, but you know the clock is ticking...and you have all these fresh young talent coming in every month to seize the opportunities you want. And while XWL is the land of opportunity, ultimately there's only so many to go around every so often with so many people continually impressing the fans, impressing me, it's not easy for someone like you to stand out in the crowd. And I think you'll agree when I say that's sadly been the case for you, while your other SOOL brothers set the world on fire, Sami Zayn becoming the inaugural Elite Champion, Leo Kruger becoming Intercontinental Champion, even The Undertaker who has now become Elite Champion himself, it's worked against you because you all came in together with this goal, but somewhere along the lines you were the one that got lost in the shuffle of things. And honestly it feels like you sort of accepted that after a while, you tried to change it, but the timing was just wrong, and I hate that for you because I haven't forgotten what you did for my career at one time.
Layla stares into Cactus Jack's eyes, continuing with her words.
Layla: I was on the rise sure, I was Miss Money in The Bank ready to cement myself, and you as General Manager tested me like I never been tested before, you threw me in the first Hell in a Cell Match. I hated you at the time for it, but you saw something in me, even if you didn't like how I went about things, you ultimately had supported me all along. And that's really how it's been with you, the roles now reversed. Have I given you a one on one shot at The World Title? No, you didn't deserve it, I'm sorry to say that but everyone one involved was operating on an entirely different level, you'd sporadically show up and that hurt me because I knew if you just went back to your old ways, and were The Cactus Jack that we all remember....you could achieve EVERYTHING you wanted.
Pausing for a moment to collect her thoughts, Layla soon continues.
Layla: All I've wanted was to see you succeed, as any other man or woman back there. But I've said this countless times, if you want something, it's your show...so seize every moment to prove that you should have it. This past month you've done just that, sending a message that you can hang with the young talent, and beat....them. And with that, I feel you're owed a chance to finally make something of yourself here. Things have slipped through your fingers...you tried to become Elite Champion, Intercontinental Champion...but before all that, there was another goal, a goal you sort of threw your hat in too late to even be considered, remember? It's actually funny timing because I was going to call you to come out here later tonight, I was finalizing some things with Vince, I wanna really shake things up this upcoming couple of months, and that all starts with the annual...Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
The audience erupts with glee at the reminder of the Money in The Bank Ladder Match which took place at last year's Emergence, and is expected to do so again.
Layla: Last year you got left behind, but this year....the line starts behind YOU. I'm out here to officially confirm that The Money In The Bank Ladder Match will once again return at Emergence, where FOUR men will battle it out for a championship opportunity anytime they want, until next year's Emergence. And I'm shaking things up, by having qualifying matches this year, matches that will not just be any match...no, to win Money in The Bank you have to climb a ladder, so that's what the winners of those qualifiers will have to do, win a ladder match and pull the contract down that officially enters them in The Money in The Bank. But you Cactus...will not be in one of those matches, no...I'm not going to make you jump through any hoops, you had to watch last year as everyone else fought for the ultimate opportunity, but this year YOU will fight for that opportunity. You are officially entered into The Money In The Bank Ladder Match!
The crowd erupts into a yes chant at this exciting news. The camera then zooms in on Cactus Jacks face and although everyone else seems to be happy he does not.
Cactus Jack: So let me get this straight I am going to have to battle four other men to get my shot? Are you kidding this is ridiculous I shouldn't have to go through ....
Cactus pauses for a second as though he is thinking about something.
Cactus Jack: Wait a minute a ladder match has no rules.
A huge grin starts to come over Cactus Jacks face.
Cactus Jack: Which means I can do whatever I want which means I can cause as much pain and suffering as I please on the poor three souls that are going to be in this ring with me this is perfect. Well thank you Layla your oh so kind and I hope you have realised what you have done by putting me in this match? I am going to cause all sorts of hell. I am going to break bodies, make people bleed and scream in agony as nobody is going to stop me do you hear me!
Cactus then turns directly to the camera and looks straight down it.
Cactus Jack: So this is a warning to the superstars competing in the qualifiers be ready to get hurt, be ready for your careers to end as your stepping into my yard, my extreme playground and there is nothing that you can do from dragging this overweight carcus up a set of ladders to claim that brief case because it is meant to be so have a nice day BANG! BANG!
Cactus then celebrates in the ring as the crowd cheers whilst Layla slowly slips away to go complete some more off her general manager dutys
Mauro Ranallo: Wow ladies and gentlemen what an announcement Layla is on a roll tonight Ladies and Gentleman! I wonder who the competitors are that will have to compete in these qualifiers and what about Cactus Jack he is getting slotted straight into the match without having to compete.
Corey Graves: This is ridiculous why should that old fart be rewarded he sucks and he is once again taking and hogging the spotlight. Layla this isn't acceptable. I hope whoever ends up in the match with him sends him back to the old folks home where he belongs.

1.What's Next for Sydal?
Matt Sydal has long been involved with the World Heavyweight Title scene. Now that he has yet again seen his chance to regain the title slip from his grasp, this time at the hands of the Broken King, where will he turn next? Without the championship as his goal, will Sydal look to make an impact in another way? Perhaps we'll find out when he stars in tonight's edition of Miz TV. One thing is for sure, someone as ambitious as him will not be content to sit on the bench as others surpass him.
2. Heir Apparent?
The Broken King Matt Hardy successfully defended his throne at Cyberslam, defeating both Edge and Matt Sydal in a triple threat match. It is now clear that Broken Matt does not intend for his reign to be a short one. Naturally, there will be no shortage of superstars clamoring to steal the crown, but who will prove to be a worthy challenger? Both Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman watched their opportunity to fight for gold slip away as Edge was voted into the match at Cyberslam by the XWL Universe. Will one of these warriors be able to rise above the sea of competitors and seize what they narrowly missed last week?
3. How Ya' Doin'??
Cyberslam was full of surprises, from JBL reclaiming his Intercontinental championship to the Undertaker again showing why he is in control of the Elite title. Not all of the surprises were matches however, as the XWL Universe was greeted by none other than Enzo Amore and Big Cass. The Certified G and the 7 Foot tall wrecking machine made their PPV debut and showed the Allstate Arena why they are the biggest faces in the league and that everyone else is simply SAWFT. How will the introduction of these two affect the landscape of XWL going forward? They seem poised to cause some damage with their vocal ferocity and fists of fury. And you can't teach that.
4. Unbeatable?
Sister April has decimated opponent after opponent since claiming the Women’s championship. No one in the division has been able to defeat her and she still stands tall after Cyberslam. Fortunately, there has been a resurgence of fresh talent and challengers such as Asuka, Ruby Riot, and Charlotte stand at the ready. Who will be the next to try her hand at slaying the dragon that might just be invincible?
5. The Ladder to the Top
Now that Cyberslam has officially come to a close, the build to one of the most exciting events of the year can officially start. That is, of course, the Money in the Bank match at Emergence. This is one of the few matches that can completely change the course of XWL. The man that emerges victorious can challenge any champion at any time. This layer of unpredictability is rivaled by very little, and the contenders will soon be decided. Who will be lucky enough to have the chance to climb that ladder and secure themselves a place in the history books?

World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contenders Match
What is your favorite thing about XWL? The fact that it's an online league that's been surviving and thriving for like what 6-7 years now? that's just unheard of. I like being in a place that has history, stories, and I like being able to make memorable matches and moments with the people here, it's a chill environment for the most part to be around and I don't think it's too far fetched to say that we're probably one of thee last or possibly the last functioning online wrestling league out there, don't quote me on it cause I could be wrong but I got a feeling we're one of the last ones going, and that makes me personally wanna contribute as much as I can to ensure that this place keeps going strong for years and years to come.
What is your least favorite thing about XWL? Currently? the only thing really bothering me about XWL right now is the current event schedule. I'll go into more detail once I get to that question about events below.
When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?
When it comes to AJ Styles, I don't mind being left off some weeks, I've built his character to a level where it's like, yeah sure he doesn't have the World Title right now, but due to his contract and the high level feuds/encounters he's had over the last year, that he's (in his opinion) the face of xwl. A main event style almost special attraction that doesn't need to be booked every week. As for Joe, currently yeah I'd prefer to be booked more often then not since I've still got a long way to go before building that kind of rep like I have with AJ with Joe.
What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often? I honestly think their needs to be more frequent championship matches if I'm honest with you, every now and then I feel Anarchy should be taken to the next level by having a title match in the main event. Like I said, every now and then, no need to like overdue it and have one every show or something, but idk, maybe once a month pick a title and have it be defended in the main event of an Anarchy or something. And when I say defended, I don't mean pre-determined outcome either, I mean I wanna see real defenses where 2 or however many guys are in the match give it their all to walk away with that title.
Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve? I feel like they absolutely deserve their titles, if there's one thing that's 100% true around here, it's the fact that you have to earn your place, you've gotta earn your title shot, and if you walk out the champion? then you've damn sure earned it. Lazy, Harmon, Taco, and Fro have all worked their asses off to get where they are now, and anyone who would question their place as a champion right now would be foolish. As for which title scene is the best right now? I'd probably say the Elite or IC title scene tbh, lots of hungry competitors going after those 2 titles and working their asses off to get people paying attention to them, I love it. As for how the other scenes can improve? that's a tough one, when it comes to the Women's title, the honest answer is that we need more Women to fill out that division and help bring some freshness to the already established main players within that division. When it comes to the world title? I mean the fucking thing's "Broken" so call up 1-800 Mr. Fix It and figure out a way to fix that scene cause I ain't got the answers.
How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision? I think you guys have done a pretty darn good job on deciding contenders and whatnot, although I feel maybe it needs to be a little more organic and a little less of admins choosing contenders per say. I think what we really need are more #1 contenders matches around here tbh, like say you guys are looking hard at 2 people for title contention, rather then give them both a shot and making the champ defend in a triple threat at like every other ppv, why not just take the 2 guys and throw em in a high stakes contenders match to decide who earns the right to face the champ. I think we need more of that around here, that slight competitiveness to give people the drive and determination to go out their and put all out on the line and see who earns the right to a true #1 contender.
The Administrative team has recently been talking about the way Special Events are presented. We currently have special events lasting two weeks and they take place about once every two months. Do you like that system? Would you rather see us go back to a system of us having them be once a month? Or perhaps a merger of the current and the past? Is two weeks too long for the duration of those events or just enough time? Yeah I 100% believe we need to change the way events work around here, the whole 1 ppv every 2 months thing is starting to take it's toll at least on me personally, having to find ways to drag a feud out for 8 weeks and then get to the show and not have it go up for another 2 weeks, so basically 10 weeks total per special, It's just way too long IMO. I think we need to go back to either 1 ppv a month, or 1 every 5-6 weeks and when it comes to the show itself it needs to just go down to 1 week, the 2 week time that show run just totally kills momentum IMO, I know people want more time and whatnot but personally, every PPV that comes around, I see the opener go up on time as usual, but then after that, nothing gets posted until like the last weekend of the show, so there's literally usually like a whole week and a half of nothing being posted besides the opener and it's just pointless to me at this point. I think we go down to 4-5 weeks per event and make em just like any other show with the 1 week deadline and things will be so much more exciting around here again, more chances for people to be on posters and see cool match graphics and stuff and it'll be SOOOOO much easier on feuds IMO.
The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?
I think it's been good, it's served it's purpose, no problems with it at all tbh.
Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better? Any thoughts about who is on the posters? No matter who's been chosen the designers have done a pretty fantastic job for the most part on making some sick posters. I do think we should have more multi man posters though, I think that would be cool.
What is your overall opinion of XWL? Why? The best online wrestling league to be apart of bar none.
Optional Question Pitch us an idea to improve the overall experience of XWL, it could pertain to the site, the titles, the booking, the shows, anything. I do think the Elite title should be re-branded to something like a U.S. or Global championship or something, I never liked the whole gimmicky Elite thing from the start and even though it's moved away from that for the most part, I still just don't really fancy that title tbh. New name, New title belt design, no gimmicks, just a fresh start as an actual non gimmicky championship. Let's see it guys. Other then that, I guess I'll just re-echo what I said above, Have NON PRE DETERMINED title matches main event Anarchy every now and then, have more #1 contenders matches to choose a contender rather then forcing the champ into a multi man situation every darn ppv, make those guys earn that #1 contender spot. Complete rebrand and redesign of the Elite title, and most importantly of all, A major shakeup to the ppv system around here, go back to every month or every 5 weeks and take away the 2 week length of it and drop it back down to the normal 1 week deadline.
The camera cuts to a backstage area that has workout equipment set up. Bad News Barrett is sparring with a heavy punching bag, throwing lefts and rights and the occasional elbow. The door behind Bad News Barrett opens and Sami Zayn walks into the room carrying a sports bag. Barrett looks behind him and sees one of his opponents for the Intercontinental title walking up. Barrett returns to his punching bag.
-Bad News Barrett- Well, if it isn't Sami Zayn. Here to warm up for your defeat tonight?
Zayn sets down his bag and begins stretching.
*Sami Zayn* Heh, you're a pretty funny guy Wade. I'm just here working out my kicking leg getting ready to kick JBL's jaw out of his skull but don't you worry i have more than enough Helluva kicks to go around if needed, Wade.
Zayn continues to stretch out his legs as Barrett chuckles.
-Bad News Barrett- I'm afraid I've got some bad news for you there. There's not going to be much jaw left for you to kick after I'm done with him.
Barrett delivers one final blow to the bag, a resounding thud leaves it swaying back and forth. Barrett turns and faces Zayn and begins to unwrap his hands.
-Bad News Barrett- He has no idea what he's in for tonight. His reign of terror is already over and he doesn't even know it yet. I can't wait to knock that smug look off of his face.
*Sami Zayn* You done with that?
Zayn points to the heavy bag, Barrett steps aside and gives an after you gesture Zayn starts punching the body bag, not known for his punches they aren't as fluid and stiff as Barrett's but seem to be a bit faster.
*Sami Zayn* There won't be a smug look on his face when he realizes he's stuck in there with two people who hate him more than they dislike each other. Zayn takes one last hit on the body bag and it sways but not as much as Barrett's. Zayn turns towards Barrett.
*Sami Zayn* I've said it before Wade, I may not like your actions but I respect the hell out of your athleticism and ability. I'm not sure who's coming out of this fight with the belt tonight but I know its going to be hard fought and that's something I live for but, one thing I know for sure, JBL isn't walking out of this arena tonight without learning some humility!
Zayn turns towards the body bag and kicks the hell out of it, It almost falls off its hook. Barrett looks surprised at the force with which Zayn kicked the bag.
-Bad News Barrett- I hope you don't think I'm going to take it easy on you Sami. JBL may be public enemy #1, but I'm not letting anyone come between me and that belt. Once he's been dealt with, everything is fair game. Zayn gives Barrett a nod and pulls headphones from his bag and places them on. He extends a closed fist which Barrett looks at for a second before bumping it with his own. Zayn turns and walks across the room to a cardio machine and starts jogging. Barrett watches for a short bit until he returns to the punching bag which has just about stopped swinging from Zayn's kick. He delivers a Bullhammer to the bag, which sends it swinging on its hook but not to the extent that Zayn's kick did. Barretts brow furrows as he turns and looks again at Zayn.
After a few seconds the camera cuts to the next segment.
Anarchy returns from a brief commercial break as the image above fills the screen for a few moments before it fades into the ring, where a few chairs are laid out in an orderly fashion and the hosts of the show, The Miz and Maryse, are show standing in the center. With both wielding microphones, The Miz takes a step back, giving his wife the spotlight, as Maryse takes a step forward before raising the microphone up to speak.
Maryse Mesdames et messieurs, bonsoir!
Maryse glances around the arena as the fans boo her, and her grin slowly fades to a stern, scolding glare.

Maryse steps aside, extending her arm out to present her husband to the XWL Universe proudly as The Miz steps into the spotlight and raises his microphone to speak.
The Miz Welcome to the most must see talk show in XWL history, welcome to... Miz TV. Last week, John Cena had the audacity to call me out to this ring in a poorly veiled attempt to get a bit of revenge on me for what I did to him the week prior. He tried to save face after the beatdown he received at my hands by trying to be the bigger man and look where it got him.
The Miz But tonight isn't about John Cena or his failures to become the World Heavyweight Champion, tonight, just like every other night, is about The Miz and Maryse. And to a smaller extent, my guest tonight on Miz TV. Before I bring him out here, I was asked to give him an introduction, so I said why not.
The Miz Ladies and gentlemen, tonight's guest on Miz TV is none other than the man who was assaulted by John Cena last week, only to end up with the last laugh. He believes he's “Phenomenal” but he's really average at best: A... J... Styles!
For the first time in weeks on Anarchy, the sound of "Evil Ways" fills the arena as smoke begins to build up on stage. The lights in the arena turn to a shade of dark blue and the trons turn from Miz TV graphics to shifting shades of blue and black as the theme plays itself out. After about 20 seconds a dark silhouette appears within the smoke, the figure steps forward through the smoke and it's none other than the Phenomenal One AJ Styles as expected. AJ stands at the center of the stage with the smoke surrounding him on all sides.
But I can't hide, Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
The song cuts off at that point and the arena goes pitch black.
AJ's "Phenomenal" theme hits the airwaves and bright blue lights suddenly illuminate the arena, on cue with the song as always at the "They Don't Want None" part of the song, AJ flips his hood back and extends his arms causing a set of pyro on stage to go off.
AJ makes his way down the ramp while most of the crowd voices their disapproval of the Phenomenal One, but it's not as harsh as it's been in the past, and that's probably due to them having a much stronger dislike for the Miz and Maryse as of late, nonetheless AJ turns the corner and walks up the steps that leads him to the apron of the ring.
AJ looks out to the crowd and raises his hands above his head to form the P1 logo with his gloves which always draws a reaction from the crowd, in this case, about 60% negative, 25% positive, and about 15% of fans somewhere in the middle. AJ steps through the ropes and enters the ring where he goes face to face with the Miz and Maryse. AJ helps himself to one of the mics that was positioned on one of the chairs set up in the ring, AJ takes a seat and raises the mic to his mouth as his theme cuts off.
(AJ Styles) Ya know Miz, I'd love to say it's honor to be out here on the most must see television show in history, the show where all the "A listers" come to right? The show that TMZ and all the major reality and entertainment outlets cover nonstop, Miz TV, but if I said that it was an honor to be out here, then I'd simply be lying through my teeth, and if there's one thing that AJ Styles is not, it's a liar. The fact is, this little show of yours is a freakin dumpster fire.
Miz and Maryse seem appalled and offended by AJ's words.
(AJ Styles) I mean what the hell even are you? a poor man's Jay Leno or something? I mean you seem to have an identity crisis Miz, you seem to not even know what the hell your own show is out here these days, is it an interview style program? or is it some poorly executed wannabe late night comedic talk show? I say comedic, because as you were giving me my introduction, you seem to have had some jokes, ya know the whole "Average at best" comment, so Miz, lemme ask ya, if I'm average, then what the hell are you? because as it stands right now, you couldn't even DREAM of lacing up my boots BOY!

The Miz turns to Maryse.

He returns his attention to AJ Styles.
The Miz Really? Isn't it obvious? If you are average, which you clearly are, then that means that I'M AWESOME! Calling you average isn't an insult, no, it's just a fact. Do facts anger you? Is that why you tried to channel your inner John Cena with your cheap attempt at an insult? Are you going to demand you be in the Main Event on next weeks Anarchy like he did?
The Miz As I've said earlier, tonight isn't about that walking Crayola Box, it's about the people in this ring. And I've been informed that the past shall be left in the past, so in honor of the return of Miz TV, I have a gift for you, AJ.
The Miz motions to Maryse, causing her to rise from her seat and take a few steps towards the turnbuckle. She receives a book like object from the ringside personnel before walking back towards her seat and handing it to The Miz as she sits back down.
The Miz What I have in my hands is something you've been fighting for since you attacked John Cena, something you've wanted ever since you left: A contract. Not only is it a contract to regain your status as a member of the roster, it also grants you a match at Downpour against the man you believe took your spot: John Cena. You're welcome.
He lowers his microphone and hands the contract over to his guest for the evening in AJ Styles.
(AJ Styles) Before I even look over this contract, I must correct ya Miz, I haven't been "fighting" for a contract, ya see I already EARNED a new contract for carrying this company on my freaking back for the last year, the problem is the management around here either failed to recognize that or simply didn't gave a damn. Personally, I tend to believe the latter. So I decided to give them a wake up call and walk out of the company on my terms. Now as I explained previously, the whole John Cena situation came to my attention and I opted to tear up my other offers and come back to XWL to prove a point, to prove that AJ Styles is UNTOUCHABLE, AND IRREPLACEABLE!
(AJ Styles) Technically, my old contract is still valid around here, but that deal is expiring within a matter of weeks, which means, if I look over this contract that you have handed to me here and I deem it unsatisfactory to me like I have deemed all the other offers as of late, then sooner rather then later AJ Styles will be gone from XWL for good.
AJ lowers his mic momentarily as he can be seen opening the book style object that contained the new contract offer that's currently on the table for the Phenomenal One AJ Styles. AJ can be seen looking over the fine print and chuckling to himself from time to time whilst shaking his head to show his apparent displeasure with some of the things he's reading. After about 2 minutes of giving the contract a brief read over, AJ lifts the mic back up to his mouth.
(AJ Styles) Looks like little miss Layla REALLY went out of her way to please AJ Styles with this offer, I mean it's got it all doesn't it?
AJ looks down at the contract whilst holding the mic to his mouth, it appears as though he's going to read off some of the juicy details to the XWL universe.
(AJ Styles)
1. "AJ Styles to be classed and marketed as the FACE OF XWL for all Pay Per View, and Television promotional spots that XWL partakes in."
2. "A entire new "Phenomenal" merchandise line to be designed by AJ Styles, the merchandise, once created would be released on XWLShop.com with AJ Styles receiving a 70% cut of all merchandise sales"
3. "AJ Styles to be placed front and center on all XWL concession and arena promotional products such as cups, chairs, posters, and various other types of items for sale at all XWL Events."
4. "AJ Styles to receive up to 3 months of paid in full vacation time per year that he is free to take whenever he chooses."
5. "AJ Styles to officially be acknowledged as a main event level talent in XWL at all times and is too be considered an "indispensable member of the XWL roster"
and last but not least, 6. "AJ Styles to be made the highest paid XWL superstar in the company"
(AJ Styles) Now don't get me wrong, that's a SIGNIFICANT improvement from some of the other offers that I previously received from XWL management, but at the end of the day? it's still doesn't represent my true value to this company, and I simply don't think Layla and all the members of the board truly understand how much AJ Styles is worth to XWL. I don't just bring American viewers to XWL, I've traveled this ENTIRE freakin planet and won gold in just about every wrestling promotion known to man, I bring an INTERNATIONAL audience to this company that would damn near vanish the moment that I walk out the door, and trust me, I'm not stupid, I know you'd still keep a good chunk of those viewers, but after awhile they'll get bored of guys like king fruity pebbles back there and they'll begin to tune out, they'll begin to ask themselves, where's AJ Styles these days? they'll look me up and discover that I'd be coming to a town near them real soon and then they're gonna throw there money or there viewership that promotions way and XWL will have NO ONE to blame for their blunder other than themselves....
AJ runs his hand through his hair before continuing on.
(AJ Styles) I'm sure you're all asking yourselves, "AJ, that's one of the best contracts I've ever heard of right there, why don't you just sign it?" I'll tell ya why, where's my guaranteed championship match huh? You're gonna attempt to sit there and tell me that a guy carries the company on his back for a year, headlines the biggest show in this companies history, wins the World Title for a 2nd time, and then gets screwed over on some BS political technicality that states that I don't get a rematch? Gimmie a freakin break... I don't plan to be screwed around this year by company politics, so before I commit my future to this company, I want GUARANTEE'S, I want a guaranteed championship match within ONE calendar year.
AJ lowers the mic for a moment and grabs one of the bottled waters that is provided on the set of MIZ TV for the guests, AJ unscrews the cap and takes a swig before covering the bottle up, placing it to the side, and lifting the mic back to his mouth once more.
(AJ Styles) I'm also sick and tired of having to wait at airports and deal with travel delays whether it be with planes, rental cars, trains, whatever the hell it may be, I'm sick of it. So not only do I want XWL to cover all of my travel costs, but I also want my own private jet and my own private bus. I want em paid in full and put in my name so I can get to every single show without any problems and delays whilst enjoying maximum comfort at the same time.
(AJ Styles) And my final demand is a simple one, this contract sitting in front of me here is a 2 year contract, for the duration of this contract I want it to be made clear to the whole entire world that AJ Styles is the FACE OF XWL, for this 2 year time span I want it in writing that I am to REMAIN the highest paid member of the XWL roster at ALL TIMES. Which means, XWL can still bring in guys like king fruity pebbles or any other hot free agents on the market, they just can never earn more then me, and if XWL does decide to pay them more then AJ Styles, then my wages automatically bump up to not only match the signing's contract, but surpass it.
(AJ Styles) These are my demands Layla, if you and the board can't meet them or simply decide not too, then in a matter of weeks the AJ Styles World Tour 2017 will be kicking off, and XWL will not only not be apart of it, they'll be public enemy #1 and it'll be my sole goal to bring this company to it's freaking knees, so choose wisely Ms. El, I'll be waiting.
AJ lowers the mic and prepares to exit the Miz TV set when all of a sudden.....
Just like that the atmostphere in the arena changes as AJ Styles stops dead in his tracks, halfway out of the ring. He looks to the stage and grins before pulling back into the ring and throwing his hair back in disgust, smirking. "Of course" appears to come across his lips as the crowd lights up, the camera spinning to the stage as the intro comes to an end. John Cena comes burting out from behind the curtain, clad in his blue attire per usual, smirking and taunting. He takes a moment to look across the crowd, which is cheering him.
He then turns his attention to the ring, smirking right at AJ before bringing up his hand in a salute. He pulls himself to the position of attention at the same time then pushes off his hand, taking off down the ramp. In mere moments he sprints down the ramp, sliding into the ring, AJ watching just as Cena does for him as he hits his feet. The duo have an awkward moment of glares before Cena walks across the ring, grabbing a mic from a ring hand before turning around, raising the mic.
[John Cena] Ladies and gentlemen, the guy who is never satisfied, A, J, STYLES!
Cena points to AJ who looks up to the sky, rolling his eyes with discontent for John.
[John Cena] Let me guess, that didn't cut it for you either?
Cena's smile goes away as he takes in a serious tone, speaking directly towards AJ Styles.
[John Cena] You know it's a little different seeing you from the front. Ain't a whole lot of oppurtunity to get the upperhand from there, is it?
Cena points to AJ, showing him off to the crowd.
[John Cena] Ladies and gentlmen what I have in front of me is a coward and a punk. A street yard bully who talks a big talk but won't ever hit you when you're looking. I dealt with someone like you when I was growing up AJ. He ran the yard, surrounded himself with the biggest friends and acted like he had everything under control. Acted like he was better than everyone. Then one day, he hit one too many nerves with me and I hit him square in his jaw. He didn't say another word to me for as long as I was in school with him.
Cena runs a hand over his head, replacing his hat once he's finished.
[John Cena] Unlike him, though, you won't even step in front of me for me to swing on you. Because you know what happens when you do. But I'm tired of that. I'm tired of the dodging and weaving and I'm tired of you taking credit for what other people have done around here. Sorry to burst your bubble but you're not a one man show, kid. You're one hell of an athlete and I'll give you that but where XWL is right now? That ain't because of you.
[John Cena] That's because of people like Matt Sydal. Brock Lesnar. R-Truth. Eric Young. Dean Ambrose. And yeah, your name might fall in line with them but you are far from the only back this company has been on. I've seen men give their blood, sweat and tears just to wrestle once inside of this ring. Hell, Eric Young for example busted his ass for years to get here and not once did he touch an ounce of gold. But he sure did beat you around a couple of times, didn't he? You, you're cocky and you're greedy. You're in it for the money and the glory. You run from anyone who actually wants to step to you and you take the dirty way out. You aren't a wrestler, you're a bitch.
The crowd pops with that one as the word gets bleeped over the feed. Miz covers his mouth smirking as Cena turns to him.
[John Cena] You can laugh all you want but once I'm done with him, I'm coming for you.
Cena turns back to AJ as Miz has to restrain Maryse from getting in the middle of something. Cena adjusts his hat as AJ watches him, unimpressed and obviously pissed off.
[John Cena] If you're so damn good in this ring why don't you prove it for once? Most of your career you've talked about how all you need is four posts and some ropes and you'll give anyone a five star match. Why don't you sign that contract and put it to the test? It's finally time to put up or shut up. What's it gonna be?
Cena drops the mic in front of AJ, throwing out his arms in defiance as to signal he's done talking.
(AJ Styles) Who the hell do you even think you are Cena? Lemme tell ya something, 3 years ago, maybe you were the man over here when you were the World Champion, but that was then, and this is now, and right now, I'm the best freakin wrestler ON THIS PLANET, and you of all people have no right to come out here and tell me that I'm just one of the many guys who's carried this company over the last year, BULLSHIT! The crowd can feel the intensity between AJ and Cena picking up by the moment as AJ responds to Cena's comments.
(AJ Styles) You haven't been here week in and week out like I have and you damn sure haven't poured your heart and soul into this ring like I have over the last year. So don't try and come out here and puff your chest and act like you know what's gone on around here for the last year, cause at the end of the day, you're just a big freakin phony who don't know SHIT about what's gone on in this company recently.
AJ paces around in the small area of the ring not occupied by Cena or Miz and Maryse as he continues on.
(AJ Styles) You say I'm just one of the many backs who helped carry this company and then you mentioned some of the other names who you claim also carried this place, we'll let's go over em real quick, R-Truth, the current champ, or shall I say, the man who's just holding MY TITLE, how'd he win that again? oh yeah, HE BEAT A GUY WHO WENT TO WAR WITH THE GOLDEN WEASEL FOR OVER A FREAKING HOUR!!!
AJ's face can be seen turning red very quickly as the look on his face signifies that he still hasn't quite gotten over what happened to him at Final Stand.
(AJ Styles) And guess what? EVEN THEN, he still BARELY managed to beat me, you put me and him in a ring one on one for that title, and I walk out a 3 time XWL World Heavyweight Champion, not a doubt in my freaking mind. At the end of the day, Truth got away with highway robbery at Final Stand by STEALING my moment and everyone knows it. Speaking of robbery, how bout a man who actually robbed me in XWL? a man named Matt Sydal, ya'll turncoats know him real well, the guy who STOLE my World Heavyweight Championship at Roulette, he had to resort to stealing just to get himself into World Title picture, and John with your Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect codes that you live by, that doesn't seem like something you'd condone. As for Matt, I respect him, and he's elite, but he's not Phenomenal, because Phenomenal is the class above elite that is occupied by me and myself alone. AJ runs his hand through his hair before continuing.
(AJ Styles) But it seems like you don't understand that John, It seems like you just don't understand how good I freaking am, either that, or you're just too full of yourself to see it. Whatever the reason, I could careless, I don't give a damn about what runs through your head, all I care about is what's running through my head, and what my head is telling me right now, it's telling me to put you in your freaking place at Downpour and your rightful place in XWL for as long as I'm here is beneath me, and at Downpour, that's exactly where you're going to end up, beneath me for the count of 3 BITCH!!! AJ tosses the mic down and picks up the book like style object that contains both contracts. AJ opens it and grabs the pen that was attached to the object, he pulls out his extremely lucrative XWL superstar contract that he was reading off earlier and signs his signature on the dotted line, it's now official ladies and gentleman, AJ Styles is now locked in to a lucrative multi year deal with XWL that see's him become the highest paid superstar in XWL and is set to receive all those bonus perks that comes with it. The merchandise, the branding, the namesake, all of that and more is now made official with AJ's signature on the document.
AJ flips the employment contract over and the other paper is none other then the contract for the Downpour match against Cena, AJ signs his signature on the dotted line before tossing the object containing the paper work to the side and mouthing off to Cena. "What now bitch???"
Cena scoops AJ up off the ground in an instant and plants him straight down to the mat with an AA from outta nowhere. The crowd cheers as the AA has been a long time coming but as Cena rises back up to his feet, he's sent back to the canvas courtesy of a steel chair in the hands of The Miz, who slyly made his way outside of the ring during the war of words that ensued on his show.
Not being one to fall so easily, Cena slowly makes it to his knees, resulting in another chairshot to his unprotected back. He drops down to the canvas, holding his lower back, as The Miz repeats the gesture a couple more times, the sound of steel meeting flesh echoing throughout the ring. He tosses the chair down at his side before he begins to slowly lift up the assaulted John Cena to his feet. The second he makes it to a knee, Cena launches up to his feet, lifting The Miz on his shoulders in the process.
Desperate not to receive the same fate as AJ Styles before him, The Miz unloads wild elbows to Cena's jaw, causing the Leader of the Cenation to loosen his grip and giving The Miz a chance to escape. He slides behind Cena, wrapping his arms in a full nelson. Not wanting to fall victim to the Skull Crushing Finale once again, Cena, using all the strength he could muster, tosses The Miz forward, avoiding the maneuver. The Miz runs towards Cena in an attempt to regain the upper hand but all he gets for his trouble is being lifting up to Cena's shoulders once more.
With The Miz on his shoulders, Cena turns to give the camera a good shot of the impending AA but instead he's meet with a cold and calculated slap to the face, courtesy of The Miz's wife, Maryse. Being almost stunned at the unexpected slap, this gives The Miz the perfect opportunity to not only escape but turn around Cena and deliver a swift but deadly kick to the lower region. Cena falls down to the canvas with a thud like a pile of bricks, causing a negative reaction to fall over the arena.
A smirk appears on The Miz's faces as Cena's lying down on the ground, holding his family jewels. Not being satisfied with getting the upper hand on John Cena, The Miz picks up where he left off and begins to lift Cena up off the canvas. With almost no resistance, The Miz locks in the full nelson one more time and positions Cena over the chair he used earlier. In one swift motion, he sweeps the leg and drives Cena head first into the waiting steel chair on the mat, a sick smirk appearing on his face once more.
The Miz rises up to his feet as Cena remains motionless on the canvas. He walks over towards the side of the ring closest to the entrance ramp and sits on the middle rope while lifting up the top one to allow Maryse to easily exit out onto the apron then hopping down to the outside. Before The Miz could follow suit, he looks back towards the ring and spots the contract on the far side of said ring. He looks at it for a moment, causing the cogs in his head to turn before hatching an idea. He steps back into the ring and walks towards it, lifting it up off the mat. The Miz looks down at Cena while he slowly opens the contract then returns his attention to it.
Without another moments hesitation, he takes the pen that was attached to the contract and begins scribbling what could potentially be his signature. He puts the pen back where it belongs and tosses the contract at Cena's lifeless body, mouthing the words, “See you at Downpour.” before making his way out of the ring and up the ramp with Maryse. Anarchy heads to a commercial break as the final shot shown is Cena laying on the canvas next to the chair that was used against him and the contract that was just signed.
Anarchy returns from a commercial break and Lillian Garcia is standing in the ring.
(Lillian Garcia) Ladies and gentleman, please welcome via skype, "The Phenomenal", AJ Styles!
A good chunk of the crowd boo's at the sound of AJ's name but then again, a fair amount of support can also be heard for AJ beyond the boo's. Overall, a rather mixed reaction.
The titantron goes black for a moment before transitioning to the skype call with the Phenomenal One. AJ appears to be sitting on his sofa and checks his pc to make sure the skype call is live before leaning back on his sofa and beginning to speak.
(AJ Styles) Before I start, before I shoot or on my rant or whatever the hell I'm gonna do, I wanna make one thing clear. In return for doing this skype session with you the XWL universe, I was promised total and complete freedom to say whatever the hell I wanna say. That means, no Renee Young, no Charly Caruso, no Tom Phillips, NONE OF EM! No interviewers WHATSOEVER!!! Just me speaking to all of you from the heart.
(AJ Styles) So I'm gonna get right into it, I'm sure there's 2 questions on everyone's minds, #1, why did AJ Styles come back last week? and #2, why did AJ Styles blast John Cena over the skull with a steel chair when he could've done it to the golden weasel instead? So I'm going to address both of those questions right now starting with the 1st one, why did I come back?
(AJ Styles) Lemme preface this by saying, I DAMN SURE didn't have to come back XWL last week, hell I'm still not even officially a contracted XWL superstar at the moment. After I quit live on Anarchy the week after Final Stand, within minutes of leaving the arena I was getting phone calls from top representatives from both New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor. The first question both companies asked me, "was it a work? you really gone?" My answer, "you're damn right I'm gone, the hell with this company". It was like music to their ears as they both laid out BIG MONEY pay per appearance deals within days of me leaving XWL, and trust me when I say this, I would've made a hell of a lot more money working 60 dates a year for both companies, then I would've staying here working over 300 days a year, But I digress.....
(AJ Styles) So exactly one week after I quit the company I had both deals on the table in front of me ready to sign. All I had to do was sign on the dotted line and AJ Styles World Tour 2017 would've gotten underway, but then, my wife turned on Anarchy because above all else, she's a fan of wrestling herself, I can respect that, I had no issues with it whatsoever. I looked down at the contracts and popped the cap off the pen, and as I'm about to sign on the dotted line I hear my wife raise the volume on the tv and I hear none other then John Cena's voice coming through my tv screen. It's almost like I was frozen, I couldn't move my hand to sign the deals that lay directly in front of me, I was paralyzed at the sound of Cena's voice, all that kept going through my head was "what in the hell is this chump doing back here?" (AJ Styles) So I sat there paralyzed and listened to what he had to say, and I couldn't believe my ears, the son of a bitch booked himself in a main event match against Matt Sydal for the very next week on Anarchy and he did so because "he's John Cena!" More thoughts rushed into my head, who the hell does this guy think he is? he may have been something in some other company but he hasn't done HALF of the things AJ Styles has done in XWL and yet he's going around and handing himself main event matches? It made no sense to me, UNTIL, until I began to put the puzzle pieces together. It started to all make sense, this was Layla's going, she handpicked this phony thinking that he could replace AJ Styles void in the top of the card. Right then and there I broke out of my paralysis, capped my pen, grabbed both contracts, walked over to my fireplace, and tossed them into it, at that moment I realized, I needed to come back and show the ohhh so idiotic Layla and the board that you just can't go around replacing "The Phenomenal One" with some half as talented, fraudulent, jackoff like John Cena. I'm ONE OF A KIND, I'm UNTOUCHABLE, I AM THE PHENOMENAL ONE!!!!! and NO ONE REPLACES ME!!!!
(AJ Styles) So I booked a flight and before I knew it I was inside of the arena last week. I used my good relationship with the security staff to my advantage to enter the arena, and then I hid, I waited, I bid my time, and when the time felt right, I struck! I made an impact so big that every single wrestling dirt sheet is covering this story right now, ESPN covered it, Bleacher Report, Fox Sports, Meltzer, you name it, the whole freakin wrestling world is talking about what AJ Styles did last week. And now, in case you haven't already managed to pick up on why I chose to strike Cena rather then Sydal, I'll give you the short and sweet explanation. Sydal, he's a weasel, he's a prick, and I can't stand him, but he's got my respect because he forced me to respect him at Final Stand, he's paid his dues around here. John Cena? he doesn't have my respect, he's a fraud, he's a chump, and he's nothing more then just a NAME! That's right a name, he's a brand, he's not a wrestler, he's not a main event caliber superstar like I am, he's not a guy who can carry a company on his back like AJ Styles can, that John Cena is long gone. I've done more for XWL in this year alone then he has in his entire career, and John, if you wanna dispute that, then you're more then welcome to do so next week to my face, because next week, AJ Styles is coming home to ANARCHY! (AJ Styles) And John, don't waste your time trying to find me, because at the end of the day, YOU'RE THE ONE WHO CAN'T SEE ME, because AJ Styles is just on a WHOLE NOTHER LEVEL!!!
AJ leans forward and cuts the skype call off leaving the XWL universe pumped up for a potential confrontation between Cena and Styles next week!
