XWL Anarchy: 7/1/2019 - 7/8/2019

1. The Golden Disgrace
Last week started out celebratory for God’s Greatest Creation with the milestone of longest reigning North American Champion and the cover of Muscle & Fitness Hers under her belt. Her parade was promptly rained on, however, when her rival and contender for her Championship, Alexa Bliss, crashed her celebration. Things soon escalated to the point of an arena-wide brawl that eventually led to the stipulation for the North American Championship match at Coronation to be a Falls Count Anywhere match. Following that, the Golden Goddess found herself booked in the Main Event of Anarchy last week, against none other than the 2x and current Women’s Champion, Tessa Blanchard. The Diamond and the Golden Goddess clashed in a battle for title supremacy and the Main Event spot at Coronation, but in the end it was the Women’s Champion who walked out victorious and proved why her face is plastered on the Coronation poster, and why she deserves the headlining match. Following that contest, and after an appearance from the Pirate Princess herself, it was announced that the Women’s Championship rematch at Coronation will be 2 out of 3 Falls. Needless to say, things are increasingly heating up in the North American and Women’s Championship pictures, and both titles deserve a watchful eye this week in the go-home show.

2. Needs More Extreme
Since returning to XWL, Dean Ambrose has made it his mission to exact his revenge on this company by way of its employees. Recently, two men have caught the ire and attention of the Lunatic Fringe in particular. Last week, Ambrose faced off against Bad Boy Joey Janela, where he continued his rampage through the locker room by picking up a win over Janela via countout, but that wasn’t the end of this dynamic story. Following the match, the thorn in Ambrose’s side, Keith Lee, issued the challenge for Dean at XWL: Coronation. Dean then took it upon himself to choose the stipulation, and kicked things up a notch by announcing that Keith Lee and Dean Ambrose will face off in an Extreme Rules match. Unfortunately for Janela, he didn’t get off so easily last week, as the impatient Ambrose demanded another match with the Bad Boy this week in the exact same Extreme Rules stipulation. Can Joey Janela turn the tides of Dean Ambrose’s momentum in his favor?

3. The Baddest What in the World?
Before her previously scheduled contest, Ronda Rousey was set up in the ring with her “handler” Paul Heyman to most likely address the upset of a loss she suffered last week in the Queen of the Ring tournament to little ol’ Liv Morgan. Before Heyman was able to address the controversy, however, he and his client came face-to-face with the Reckoning in Rhea Ripley. While Rhea was Ronda’s previously scheduled opponent, her arrival was not anticipated so abruptly. Ripley wasted no time getting the action started, not even waiting for a bell. After taking it to the Baddest Woman on the Planet, Rhea’s rookie confidence got the best of her and allowed Rousey to gain the upper hand. While this match never officially took place, after spilling outside of the ring, things only got nastier. A rematch has not been scheduled for this week, and both women have their own respective mountains to climb in the intimidating forms of Charlotte Flair and Awesome Kong, but after exchanging spit, bloodshed, and carnage galore, surely these two have unfinished business to attend to.

4. Savor that Poison
After punching their tickets to the finals of the King of the Ring tournament at Coronation, Cesaro and Brian Pillman Jr. will take the grand stage in order to determine who is XWL’s King of the Ring for 2019. While Cesaro has been on an undeniable streak, one person who holds a victory over him is in fact his opponent at Coronation, Brian Pillman Jr. Could BPJ be the Swiss Superman’s kryptonite? We’ll figure that out next week at Coronation, but this week Flyin’ Brian made his own unique proposal. Cesaro will choose his opponent for the go-home show, and he will choose Cesaro’s. A fair, but risky trade to make only one week before the tournament finals. As we learned on the previous episode of Anarchy, Cesaro has selected Drew McIntyre to face BPJ. As for Cesaro? Brian chose Daniel Bryan, the Bryan whom Cesaro has made himself perfectly familiar with as of late.

5. Wanted: A Partner for the Iron Man
We’ve recently come to terms with the fact that Chris Sabin and Matt Sydal still have unfinished business with one another. The question around this blossoming feud then became, “whose title will be on the line?” While it originally seemed as though Sabin would be the one challenging Sydal for his Intercontinental title as he made a point to in the past, the Iron Man was quick to flip the script on one half of the longest reigning Tag Team Champions. Only problem now is, who’s going to be his partner? As we found out last week during a backstage interview, the Phenomenal One, AJ Styles, has declared his interest in the tag team division, just not particularly in Sydal. Understandable, given their history, but will Styles be able to put that aside and join forces with the Golden Boy? Or will someone, or anyone else answer the call?

As Anarchy goes live, we head straight into the arena in Monroe, Louisiana as a jam packed show awaits us as the final stop before Coronation. We forgo the usual pyrotechnics as the camera focuses in on our commentary team of the evening, Mauro Ranallo, Corey Graves, and Renee Young who are standing in front of their seats to kick things off.

Welcome to Anarchy, as the battle for the throne draws near!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Ladies and Gentlemen we are but ONE week away from Coronation, the night where titles, crowns, and bragging rights will be at stake...and tonight it will be all out Anarchy as every Superstar looks to claim that last bit of momentum heading into such a momentous occasion.

[Renee Young]
Of course at the end of last week's episode we learned that Women's Champion Tessa Blanchard will defend her title against Kairi Sane in a grand finale Main-Event that will be contested in a Two Out Of Three falls match!

[Corey Graves]
It should be The Golden Goddess defending The North American Championship but I suppose it's for the best as Mandy clearly will make short work of that pipsqueak.

[Renee Young]
Tessa of course earned The Main-Event by defeating Mandy in a Champion versus Champion match last week.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Kairi Sane and Tessa Blanchard have been locked in a competitive rivalry for months, but with two victories each over one another as it stands...Coronation will truly prove who ultimately reigns supreme between the two of them.

[Corey Graves]
Speaking of Kairi Sane, her friendship with Alexa Bliss has been a hot topic in the last month, they've refused to acknowledge any ill will between one another, and act as if their relationship is perfect...well, in response to Alexa's heinous AND cowardly assault on God's Greatest Creation last week? Mr. McMahon has ordered that tonight the two best friends who were victorious in Tag-Team action against The Boss N' Brat Connection will go one on one TONIGHT! AND, the best part? If they refuse to compete against one another? BOTH WILL WILL VACATE THEIR TITLE MATCHES AT CORONATION!

[Renee Young]
Try to reel your enthusiasm there, Corey.

[Corey Graves]
I'm just glad they'll finally be forced to show their true colors tonight. No more fake "love" no more obnoxious "respect" tonight they have to actually FIGHT...and like every other friendship of their kind? Tonight? I'm expecting theirs to fall apart..the only question is, who will drive that knife in the back first?

[Mauro Ranallo]
What makes you so sure anything of the sort is going to happen?

[Corey Graves]
Because, friendships in this business do not last...and when you have to spend every waking moment touting how great your friendship is? It's probably not that great.

[Renee Young]
They've only "touted" about it because Mr. McMahon and Mandy Rose have both taken extreme measures to drive a wedge between them, and every step of the way they have failed. Tonight they may be forced to wrestle one another? But I for one believe in this friendship, and just like every other attempt? This one will also blow up in The General Manager and The North American Champion's faces.

[Mauro Ranallo]
While last week we learned what match The Women's Title will be defended in, earlier in the night we received confirmation that Alexa Bliss' challenge to Mandy Rose in a Falls Count Anywhere Match has been signed and at Coronation just like their fight spilled into the concessions? They will have no limits, no barriers, and nothing to prevent a chaotic showdown between these two bitter enemies.

[Renee Young]
Speaking of bitter enemies, Matt Sydal attempted to court one of his former rivals last week after challenged TCSI to a Tag-Team Match at Coronation. While he didn't get confirmation one way or the other...TCSI did confirm that his challenge was indeed accepted. Where if he and his partner whomever they are win? They'll earn a Tag-Team Championship Match. But if TCSI win? Chris Sabin earns an Intercontinental Championship Match.

[Corey Graves]
Chris Sabin returned over a year ago with a quest to attain The Intercontinental Championship which belonged to Gable at the time and while he wasn't successful that rivalry did spawn the formation of TCSI which has been an unstoppable team in The Tag-Team division.

[Mauro Ranallo]
He's had his sights on that title ever since, and now if TCSI can win their next match together? He will at last get his one on one title match.

[Renee Young]
But we all know how resourceful Matt Sydal is, when he sets his mind to do something he pulls out all stops to get it done. AJ may not have taken him up on his offer as of yet...but there's still a roster of Superstars that surely can see the benefit in getting in a Tag-Team with someone of Matt's acclaim?



[Corey Graves]
While AJ's neither accepted nor declined his offer...he himself is exploring his options tonight by bringing forth a challenge to one of the teams that will clash in the finals of The Motor City Cup at Coronation. The newly formed duo of Tyler Breeze & Velveteen Dream have proven successful together thus far...but as a newly formed team themselves, how will they fair against AJ Styles and his mystery partner?

[Mauro Ranallo]
The Phenomenal One has had many friends over the years from a lot of places, and it'll be interesting to see who shows up in his corner tonight.

[Renee Young]
Velveteen Dream & Tyler Breeze as we mentioned will be competing at Coronation when they clash in a Number One Contenders Match against The Cut Throat Era Sami Zayn & Jay White. What's interesting about the finale of this tournament is you'll have a team that's been together for a while now...competing against one that has only been around for a month. Will experience prevail or will this new tandem of flamboyance and ability prove it's their era and move on to challenge The Tag-Team Champions at Ascension?

[Corey Graves]
Elsewhere in Tournament action both halves of The Boss N' Brat Connection have made it to the finals of The Queen Of The Ring tournament, and with a rocky history between each other having recently been smoothed over...will the crown get in the way of their friendship when they clash in the finals?

[Mauro Ranallo]
The crown of course this year has a huge opportunity attached. The winner will have a Women's Championship Match at their disposal for 90 days. The match must be announced a week in advance at the latest, so it's not going to be as unpredictable as Money In The Bank. However, having an opportunity like that in the hands of one of them who are anything but predictable? Is a danger that will soon await The Women's Champion for the next 90 days.

[Renee Young]
The last tournament finals will see Cesaro and Brian Pillman Jr. clash in finale of The King Of The Ring tournament. Much like The Queen Of The Ring, the winner will receive a crown allowing them a World Heavyweight Championship Match at their disposal. For two men who have never held that title? That is a big BIG opportunity that neither will let slip through their fingers so easily.

[Corey Graves]
Brian Pillman Jr. is of course the comeback kid, who lost to Daniel Bryan in a Number One Contenders Match to kickoff The Anarchy after Downpour. But his hopes were not completely crushed thereafter, as the loser of that match had another opportunity, a second chance of sorts to be the final entry into The King Of The Ring tournament hosted that night. Brian would redeem his loss earlier that night and defeat Bray Wyatt to keep his championship dreams alive and well. Cesaro himself laid defeat to Dean Ambrose to move onto the Semi-Finals the next week...which were two huge matches for both to overcome.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Cesaro found himself across from former World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles. Dare we say his biggest victory in XWL history because he was a bit of a dark horse in this. Everyone saw The Swiss Superman hanging around Daniel Bryan and expected his focus to be too be split to defeat a Phenomenal athlete like AJ Styles. But much like his inspirational messages to Bryan...he practiced what he preached, and earned his way into the finals by defeating a former world champion. Brian himself that week fought a legendary superstar in Shawn Michaels and former world champion and would advance. Which now leads us to the finals next week.

[Renee Young]
But before Cesaro & Brian Pillman Jr. compete against one another, tonight they take part in a Pick Your Poison set of matches which has arranged for Cesaro to compete against the very man he's brought a more vicious side out of lately...and Brian finds himself in a one on one match with The World Heavyweight Champion and its under Extreme Rules.

[Corey Graves]
Extremely smart of Brian to pit Cesaro and Bryan against one another, and the same for Cesaro giving The World Champion to him in a one on one match. Brian has defeated Drew before but in a Triple Threat Match...a one on one is an entirely different story, especially when you give The Titanium Tyrant from Ayr a match with absolutely no rules other than to pin or submit your opponent inside the ring.



[Mauro Ranallo]
That will of course be our Main-Event this evening where The World Heavyweight Champion has an opportunity to send a message to his challenger at Coronation, Daniel Bryan. As we spoke of Bryan's new aggressiveness, Drew felt that first hand 2 weeks ago when McIntyre began to be assaulted by a recent breakout in Killer Kross. Bryan would come to his aid, but due to Drew's disrespectful exchange with him in the locker room earlier that night? Bryan took that moment to introduce himself to McIntyre, to ensure he wouldn't forget who he is next time.

[Renee Young]
And last week, Bryan got a receipt from The Champion when like the week prior, Kross tried to bring forth an assault but this time McIntyre was the one who played "hero." Not for long through as a Claymore Kick into the chair that was wrapped around Bryan's neck. Tonight they may have their own battles to deal with, but I highly expect for them to somehow cross each other's paths again as they prepare to clash for The World Heavyweight Championship at Coronation.

[Corey Graves]
Well I don't know about you, but I'm ready for the night to begin so what's say we get things started?

[Mauro Ranallo]
I'm surprised you didn't express your excitement to see Mandy tonight.

[Corey Graves]
One is always excited to lay witness to God's Greatest Creation.

[Renee Young]
Anyways...I'm with you let the show begin! Match, altercation backstage, interview...declaration...I don't care I'm ready for it all!

As a video begins, we see XWL newcomer Hiroshi Tanahashi stepping out of a Japanese boutique. Behind him, an assistant emerges carrying multiple bags for Tanahashi. This does not look like any other assistant, but a young Japanese wrestler paying his dues. His duty today seems to be helping with whatever veteran wrestler Tanahashi asks as is tradition in Japan.

The Japanese superstar fixes his hair in the reflection from the boutique window before starting down the sidewalk. He doesn't get too far before he is mobbed by a group of screaming fan girls. Tanahashi smiles, adoring the attention he is getting. One by one, he poses for a selfie with each girl. After a few moments, the fan girls disappear and Tanahashi continues on his path. Seeing the camera man in front of him, Tanahashi begins to speak. Subtitles flash at the bottom of the screen to translate Tanahashi's words.



HIROSHI TANAHASHI
みなさん、こんにちは！ 日本の大阪にある棚橋宏と私は明日の朝アメリカに飛ぶ前に買い物を終えたところです。 今、私は12時間のフライトの前に私の最終的なトレーニングをすることになっています。
(Hello everyone! Hiroshi Tanahashi here in Nagoya, Japan and I have just finished shopping before my flight to the United States tomorrow morning. Now, I am on my way to do my final workout before a twelve hour flight.)

The video skips ahead in the day and we fade into Tanahashi walking into a gym. This isn't just any other gym, but Tanahashi's personal pro wrestling gym. He takes a moment to greet each of his students as well as his personal trainer that he has invited here for today's workout. Tanahashi has also allowed a few members of the local media into his gym to record and photograph today's workout. We now see Tanahashi begin to stretch. As we cut ahead to the workout, we see Tanahashi has made a change of attire.



As grunts from Tanahashi can be heard, we hear his personal trainer encouraging him to continue his great workout.

Personal Trainer
とても良い、エース！ これがあなたが一番いい理由です！ 完璧な形！
(Very good, Ace! This is why you're the best! Perfect form!)

We cut to another exercise.



Personal Trainer
それはそれだ、チャンピオン！ そのポジションを持ってください！ 私はあなたにXWL列車の中の誰もがあなたと同じくらい難しいと約束しない！ あと5秒、タナ！ 持て！
(That's it, champ! Hold that position! I promise you no one in XWL trains as hard as you! Five more seconds, Tana! Hold it!)

After a few seconds, the personal trainer blows his whistle. Tanahashi then springs up to his feet. He can be seen sweating, but doesn't seem too fatigued. He's thrown a bottle of water from ringside and then makes his way toward members of the media who are standing on the side of the ring.

HIROSHI TANAHASHI

As we skip ahead again, we see Tanahashi has had a shower and another change of attire. He sits outside his gym now, taking questions from the same reporter from inside the gym earlier.

As Anarchy resumes, we're taken to a special set backstage, where the first thing we see is a white mug resting on a seemingly long stretched white counter, where a enticing cloud of steam floats from the top of the cup confirming it's far from empty.


But as we can see, this is no plain ordinary mug...this is a mug brandished with the all new "Twisted Bliss Coffee" logo. Little Miss Bliss as of late has revealed a new side of herself, a coffee connoisseur that sometimes needs to get her fix before confronting The General Manager, or leaving a Tag-Team Match halfway in refill her caffeine levels, or even in the event of a toast...she will have a cup of coffee on standby. As the logo appropriately reads "No Coffee/No Bliss that has been one hundred percent true as of late. Last week these mugs along with t-shirts hit The XWL Shop online and at the arena, and the hands of some Superstars last week such as one half of The Tag-Team Champions Chris Sabin. As our eyes are enticed by the hot steam that we swear is starting to do that thing in cartoons where it forms a hand and starts motioning for us to come to it...that trance is broken by the hands of a Woman reaching towards it, lifting it up and taking a sip as she lets out a satisfied "ahhh..." Once the mug is lowered, to really no surprise...this person is none other than Alexa Bliss herself. The camera has panned out to reveal that she's on what can only be described as your prototypical infomercial set complete with a tray of assorted treats you could dip your coffee in, along with a very well placed pyramid behind her made up entirely of twisted bliss coffee cups. To complete this total shill of a moment...Alexa is wearing one of her "Twisted Bliss Coffee" t-shirts and she smiles as she stares into the camera.

Unfortunately, despite my coffee not even being delivered in this mug during my special toast with Mandy last week...everything sold out without a single mention of this new merchandise even existing yet. There wasn't a stand at every entrance and exit enticing people to buy it...and I didn't get a special banner announcing it on the website. In other news, if you'd like The New Muscle & Fitness Hers with Mandy Rose on the cover? They're still very much in stock. Now as much as I have my issues with Mandy? I'm sure her new magazine would make an excellent coaster for my coffee.

She reaches down pulling out Mandy's new magazine, and then sits it on the counter in front of her.

Which brings me to tonight's special segment, DOES IT COASTER? Where I take your random items you might have lying around and find out...if it works as a coaster, or just belongs in the garbage.

She folds the magazine over in half, to where Mandy's face is entirely hidden then picking up her coffee. She takes this opportunity to grab a quick sip, then starts to place it onto her makeshift coaster, eagerly awaiting the verdict of it it coasters or not. Slowly she puts it down, and unfortunately the cup is immediately unevenly positioned to the point that a small drip of coffee overflows from the cup and onto the magazine, prompting a very zoomed in still of Alexa's disappointment.

Oh how embarrassing...it does not coaster after all...well, in case you made the mistake of already purchasing the magazine do not fret because as proven last week...it's semi-passable to clean up a mess. Not great, not even really average...barely serving any use but somehow still existing...anyways...

Alexa picks her mug up and moves it to the side, then swipes her hand across the counter sweeping the magazine off. The camera cuts over to a specially placed camera which seems to be above a trashcan, where we see the magazine fall into the trash. After this extremely extra and somewhat unnecessary shot we focus back in on Alexa who now has something beside her with a specially designed "Twisted Bliss Coffee" cover over the top of it to keep it hidden.

From one embarrassment to the next...unfortunately this is the part of the program where thanks to the clarity and relaxation attained from my coffee...I need to reflect on a past embarrassing moment of mine see the good in it...like there's always good in a cup of coffee. Because even if they put three sugars instead of four, or skimp on the cream, or burn the beans...it will ALWAYS do it's job. So tonight I look back on Downpour, where I made history as the person male or female...who has lost a title match in the shortest amount of time. I know, it's frustrating to look back on, because I felt so robbed, you know? Like, there I am unconscious outside of the ring...and The General Manager waves in two stooges to cart my body into the ring so that the match I was in no way conscious for, could begin. The end result was losing to Mandy in a record 3.84 seconds. BUT, given that my last name is Bliss...and I love to put my twist on things? I am proud to announce that tonight...in honor of my HISTORIC ACHIEVEMENT....I bring you this exclusive deal for a limited time only...

After hearing that patronizing tone of voice, we already know who has arrived upon the scene. Judging by the look on Alexa's face, so does she. The camera turns until it finds the glowing face of the Golden Goddess, Mandy Rose. On her shoulder sits the coveted North American Championship, and in her arms is a stack full of her Muscle & Fitness Hers magazines.


Trying to coerce the young and impressionable fans of the XWL Universe into buying your dirty, unregulated coffee brew? That's tragic, Alexa. I thought you were better than that. Well, actually I didn't, because I don't think about you ever, really. Not that you could possibly relate or understand, but when you're the longest reigning North American Champion, as well as a successful cover girl and entrepreneur- oh, and let's not forget God's Greatest Creation, you don't really have time to dwell on all of the little people. And no, that wasn't a short joke... Anyway, seeing as though I've accidentally stumbled across your tiny little set here, and considering I am known to be a generous and charitable Champion, why don't I help you glam this place up a bit? I think this set could really use a TRUE Goddess's touch. Who knows? Might help you actually sell one or two of these-

Mandy lifts up one of the mugs and twists it around in her hand curiously, observing it as though she were a Greek god who was dumbfounded by the utensils and everyday tools of mere mortals.


Makeup brush holders. No worries! I'll have this place looking livelier and more ethereal in no time.

The North American Champion places the mug back onto the counter before using her arm to cleanly sweep every last promotional items off of the surface. The clutter comes crashing down onto the floor next to Alexa as Mandy takes her time laying out one magazine after the other, all face up in a perfect line. With her face successfully plastered across the entire counter, Mandy smiles at her handiwork before taking another glance around the set.


Hmm... Something's still not right...

The Golden Goddess then experiences a proverbial light bulb turning on right above her celestial head as she takes another copy out of the stop in her arm and places it in the hands of Alexa Bliss. She manipulates Alexa's digits so that she is holding the magazine open in her hands. Alexa, like a sleeping bear, has yet to move or react in any notable fashion. Mandy tilts her head to the side, taking another look over Alexa and the set while lining it up with the one in her head. Finally, she raises Alexa's arms up just enough so that the open magazine is covering her entire face. Rose smiles elegantly, breathing a sigh of relief as she fawns over the beautiful set that she's so graciously created.


No need to thank me, sweetie. I already know how much this means to you... Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got another photo shoot to get to. Longest reigning North American Champion and all that. Toodles!

Mandy grins and winks at the camera and wriggles her fingers at the lens before sashaying off set and down the corridor. The camera refocuses on the open spread of Muscle & Fitness Hers that is still covering Alexa's face. We notice the intense rising and falling of Alexa's shoulders and upper diaphragm as she breaths heavily. Suddenly, a sharp tearing sensation can be heard from the magazine being ripped in half! Pulled apart by the gripping knuckles of Five Feet of Fury until it was two halves of a hole, which allows us to see the ire of Little Miss Bliss through her burning glare. After zooming in on eyes of Bliss, the camera gradually fades out into our next segment.

As we return from a commercial break, we're greeted to cheers emanating from the live audience in attendance as the Swiss Cyborg and XWL's favorite Goat Faced Hero stand across the ring from one another. The anticipation begins to build as Bryan is now in position to gain a bit of revenge against the man that attacked him after he became the Number One Contender to Drew McIntyre's World Heavyweight Championship a number of weeks ago. Since then, it has been Cesaro's quest to “Reawaken The Dragon” that lies dormant inside Daniel Bryan and we may have gotten shining glimpses of that in the weeks that followed, most notably when he decided to “introduce” himself to the current World Heavyweight Champion after the disrespect shown by Drew earlier in that evening. Now Bryan stands across the ring from someone that has become somewhat of a mentor to him, or depending on your perspective, his own personal tormentor. With this being his final opportunity to gain some much needed momentum as he walks into his first one on one match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Coronation, Cesaro is on a similar boat, with his match having equal importance as he takes on Brian Pillman Jr in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament, something has to give as these hard hitting, technical messiahs prepare themselves for the war ahead.

The referee calls for the bell, signaling the official start to this contest. Cesaro, not wasting a single moment, charges out of his turnbuckle and makes a beeline towards Bryan, who sees the rapidly approaching Cesaro and instead of avoiding or countering the attack, opts to just stand his ground. When he gets within range, Cesaro throws his full weight behind a European Uppercut, hitting Bryan square in the jaw with enough force to cause him to take a few steps forward before dropping to a knee. As boos begin to fill the ring, Cesaro quickly close the short distance between himself and Bryan before he wraps his arms around his waist, lifting him into the air like he was a fraction of his weight. He hovers in the air against his will for a moment before Cesaro swings him upwards and slams him down behind him. Not being satisfied with that, the Swiss Cyborg keeps his hands interlocked with one another and using his inhuman athleticism. Cesaro rolls backwards in one swift yet precise motion, standing on his feet once again with a seemingly helpless Daniel Bryan still in his grasp. He plants his feet into the canvas and lowers his stance ever so slightly, nearly allowing Bryan a potential reprieve but that is swiftly taken from him when Cesaro pops his hips and with the greatest of ease, sends Bryan soaring through the air over halfway across the ring before crashing onto the canvas with a sickening thud.

If Cesaro couldn't fully awaken the dragon, he could most certainly make him feel like one for a few moments as he took flight. Now on the other side of the ring, Bryan somehow is still in this, whether or not gravity is to thank or blame for Bryan not being laying on the canvas and on his knees has yet to be seen. Cesaro sees this moments after he quickly goes from being back first on the canvas to on his feet with a Swiss style Kip Up, the live audience in attendance torn between booing his dastardly strength or cheering his effortless athleticism, quickly opting to boo for the principle of the situation, he's battering and beating the crowd favorite without remorse after all. The Swiss Cyborg mirrors his opening salvo and makes a beeline towards the kneeling Daniel Bryan, who at least brings his fists up towards his face to make an attempt to fight back, even if it is futile at this point in the match, and futile it is when Cesaro slices through the air and goes back to old faithful: His infamous European Uppercut. Bryan crumples under the force behind the deadly strike, sending him back to the canvas once more.

Not being done with his assault just yet, Cesaro takes a hold of Bryan's head and brings him back to a kneeling position, the only thing keeping Bryan in this position is Cesaro's grip. With Bryan's arms dangling at his side, it's clear that this match, if we can even call it that at this point, can be won but where would the fun in that be? Cesaro slightly adjusts Bryan's head before he begins unloading Uppercut after Uppercut, reminiscent of his initial attack many weeks ago after our Goat Faced Hero's impressive victory that secured him a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship in six days time, but seeing how this is going, will he even make it to Coronation? Cesaro's vicious Uppercut Barrage easily reaches double digits in record time and when he's satisfied with concerto of European Uppercuts, he theatrically winds up the the final one, moving his closed fist in a circle motion a few times before he brings his forearm into Bryan's jaw, the momentum behind it causing him to rise to his feet with his arm raised into the air while Bryan falls back down onto the canvas once again. More than content with his performance, Cesaro takes the time to take a bow in the center of the ring, awaiting the praise and adulation for his flawless rendition of Goat Boy Blues. Instead of that, he receives boos for his remorseless actions.

Receiving the opposite reaction he was expecting, Cesaro does his trademark neck snap before he turns his attention towards the fallen Daniel Bryan, the expression etched on his face being one of annoyance and finality directed at the former American Dragon. More than ready to put the exclamation point on this “match,” Cesaro bends down and takes a hold of Bryan's head, pulling him from his grounded position to a vertical one with ease. He looks into his glazed over eyes before slapping Bryan across the face with a slap that echos to the highest points of the enclosed arena, the resounding shockwave heard up into the cheap seats, before Cesaro shoves Bryan away from him and towards the ropes that cause him to ricochet off them and return to Cesaro as if he were a human boomerang. When he gets within range, Cesaro wraps his hands around Bryan's waist and lifts him into the air, tossing him a considerable distance before allowing gravity to do the rest as he primes his arm for the Uppercut that will put an end to this match. As Bryan returns towards the canvas, Cesaro's arm is quickly closing the distance between them but just when it seemed like all hope was lost for our Goat Faced Hero, Bryan shifts his body and takes hold of Cesaro's arm in one simple yet seamless transition, bringing not only Bryan himself but also Cesaro down to the canvas below.

The live audience in attendance explode into an array of cheers as the glimmer of hope has become a shining light in the form of Bryan's gambit to remain in this match: The Yes! Lock. Bryan is able to trap Cesaro's arm under his knee with relative ease as the overzealous Swiss Cyborg made one fatal miscalculation that might end up costing him the victory here tonight. Bryan tries to wrap his arms around Cesaro's face and interlock his fingers to properly apply the hold but Cesaro isn't about to allow that to happen without a fight as the cheers have begun to reach their breaking point. Up until now, Cesaro as managed to keep Bryan's hands apart and while he focuses on that, one has to believe that his priorities need to change if he wants to not only avoid the submission maneuver but to escape it entirely. Bryan, quickly realizing that this is a fight he'll lose if he continues wasting time, pulls his arm far enough away to where Cesaro can't control it before bringing it back and driving his forearm into the side of his head repeatedly. Cesaro tries to cover up but this plays into Bryan's hand perfectly as now that Cesaro's hand his preoccupied, he now has a window, albeit brief to say the least, and he's going to take full advantage of it.

The second that Bryan begins to apply pressure to his submission hold, Cesaro readjusts his body to use Bryan's force against him, allowing the Swiss Cyborg to roll through the maneuver and force Bryan off of him. This works to his detriment however, while he's out of his submission predicament, he has put himself in an equal, if not worse, position due to Bryan making it up to his feet before him. Cesaro makes it to his knees and just as he's transitioning towards a vertical base, he's sent back down to his knees by a calculated kick to his chest. While still experiencing the recoil of the unsuspecting first strike, another is delivered to the same exact spot, the precision being virtually unmatched. Bryan quickly finds his rhythm, unfortunately for the live audience in attendance, it's mistimed with their “Yes!” chants as the intensity behind his kicks are giving him a second wind as well as the crowd hope for their favorite Goat Faced Hero to turn the tides of momentum towards his favor. This is a version of Bryan that isn't concerned with keeping time with the live audience in attendance's chants, his only goal is to knock Cesaro's head off his shoulders. This is clearly visible with the building anger in not only his demeanor but also written all over his face, every kick that comes in contact with Cesaro's now pulsating chest has more impact behind it than the previous. It's clear that Bryan's initial intention of winning has been erased from his mind, he only has one goal now: Survival.

In a nearly indescribable state of pain and seemingly regret after being virtually responsible for this “killer instinct” in Daniel Bryan being awakened, Cesaro is almost in a stunned state while Bryan stands above him. Instead of opting for his usual build up to the crescendo of this combination of kicks, Bryan takes a single step back, inadvertently not giving the crowd the opportunity to steadily build up the final kick, and unleashes a Roundhouse Kick worthy of having all the pain, anger, disrespect and failure since his return many months ago. Just when it seemed like the Swiss Cyborg would be sent to the scrap heap for the role he's played in this transformation, he instead ducks under the kick, just millimeters shy of making contact with the top of his head, if he had hair, it would have been kicked off without question. With his unfortunate miss, the momentum causes Bryan to do a complete three sixty on the spot, almost as if he were a kick happy ballerina, but when he completes his spin, Cesaro is standing face to face with him. Cesaro's stoic expression remains true as he locks eyes with Bryan, who has seemingly lost all sense of time and location as a scowl appears on his face while anger clearly radiates off of it, whether it's due to him missing his calculated strike or something entirely different has yet to be seen. Cesaro's stoic expression breaks into a twisted grin before he mouths, “You're ready.” towards Bryan, who doesn't seem to acknowledge this in the slightest.

The seconds quickly begin to tick up as they remain staring at one another, causing the referee to interject and tell them that this is still in fact a match. The only acknowledgment this gets is a nod from Cesaro that was directed at Bryan, causing both men to quickly charge at the referee, Cesaro delivering his trademark Uppercut while Bryan opts to use his knee, both men colliding with the official in unison and ending this in an unofficial double disqualification in the process. With this match reaching an abrupt end, we're taken to a quick commercial break, the last image being that of a kneeling Daniel Bryan looking down at the referee while Cesaro lifts both his arms into the air in the shape of fists and begins firing off, his mission to “Reawaken The Dragon” seemingly being a rousing success.

XWL ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED

It was only a handful of years ago that he ran wild in XWL. He did what he wanted, took what he wanted and BROGUE KICKED whomever the heck he wanted as well. It seems in his time away a great many things have changed, but not that many things - Matt Sydal was still kicking around for some reason - that would need to be corrected once again and along with that XWL had a long line of chumps that needed a good boot in the face to knock them out and then one right in the backside to send them flying out the back doors. Last week he had a match with Batista - and it seemed the animal needed to get himself checked at the vets because he never showed - that was the best thing for him, he never wanted to put the beast down.



Once again he had another match in XWL. Opening or closing it didn’t really matter - you just knew someone was going to get hurt and this week it was going to be the turn of Sami Zayn at least he had this one thing going for him - he showed up. He had that in him, he had the guts to get into the ring with a man like Sheamus - that was worthy of respect if nothing else. The Celtic warrior made his way out onto the main stage. The spotlight was firmly on him, darkness all around him and only he was there to light up XWL. He spread his arms outwards and then started to thump at his chest leaving red marks upon it as he moved forward, his music full blast as he made his way to the ring. His eyes locked with Sami Zayn as he walked slowly up the steps and into the ring as he stared the man down, knowing that he was going to have to take his head clean of his shoulders to take the victory this day.



Speed, endurance and power - Sami Zayn had this aplently, but when it came to facing someone like him - it was not enough. A brogue kick was a brogue kick and bigger and better have taken one right on the chin and never got back up. Sami Zayn was a fighter that was given, he fought for everything he had and for Sheamus - putting him down was not an easy task. It took almost all he had to do it, but after one too many brogue kicks - Sami Zayn could not kickout - giving the victory to Sheamus.

This is so clever, what better way to get into somebody's head than to interrupt their match against someone of the calibre of Charlotte Flair.

I don't think clever is the right word here, Corey. Can you imagine what Ronda's actually going to do when Rhea gets the guts to come down here?

Well it looks like we're about to find out because here she comes!

Rhea walks out down the ramp, and Ronda prepares herself for a fight. Rhea jumps up onto the apron, and taunts Ronda

Ronda seems to have forgotten she's in a match!

And it looks like that's about to be her downfall, Charlotte's back to her feet!

Charlotte stares at the scene in front of her, and grirns, seeing her opportunity, she shoves Ronda into the ropes, knocking Rhea off the apron and onto the floor, and causing Rousey to stumble, Charlotte rolls her up, and places her feet on the middle rope for leverage.

Before the referee can get to the count of three, a furious Rhea ripley slaps Charlotte's legs off the middle rope, and forces her to break the count. Charlotte is livid, she can't believe what's happened. The referee checks on Rousey, as Charlotte turns to the irrate Rhea, screaming in her face through the ropes, Ripley's got no time for her shit though, and smack her full force across her face.

Look out Charlotte!

Stunned and ego bruised, Charlotte slowly turns around, and is instantly struck down by a charging Ronda Rousey's fist. Charlotte falls limp to the floor, Rousey drags her to the center, and covers her.

Rhonda stands over Charlotte after pinning her. She looks around for her enemy that attempted to cost her here tonight, however she is already nowhere to be found. Ronda angrily exits the ring and heads backstage in pursuit of Rhea laving Charlotte laid out in the ring as Anarchy fades to a commercial break.

Anarchy comes back from commercial break to begin the next segment.


Mauro Ranallo: Ladies and Gentlemen welcome back to Anarchy
and what a night it has been so far.

Corey Graves: And it's only going to get better as the night goes on.


Mauro Ranallo: And here comes HBK who will be in a foul mood after last weeks attack from Chris Jericho backstage. These two men have a real hatred for each other and when they finally get a hold of each other I don't think the army will be able to keep them apart.

Corey Graves: Please Michales had it coming. Everything Jericho has been saying is so true. HBK was underserving off being in the KOTR. It should have been Jericho he is the rightful number one contender he never even got a fair rematch for the world title. He is not only the best in the world but the rightful heir to the world championship and you and everyone here and at home knows it.

Mauro Ranallo: Well that's a matter of opinion Corey. An opinion I disagree with. Looks like HBK is ready to talk so lets see what he has to say.

HBK: You know I am kind of getting sick and tired off being jumped from behind and taken advantage off. Now I told you Jericho you wanted no part of the heart break kid but you just kept stirring the pot and running me down whenever you could and then last week you decided to attack me from behind with a steel chair busting me wide open and then power bombing me through a table so kid you have made this real personal real fast. You seem to have this obsession with me and it took me a while to figure out why and it seems to all come down to jealousy.


HBK: Why is Jericho jealous you might ask? Well you see when Jericho was growing up watching wrestling, dreaming off being a wrestler one day he identified one man as his hero, one man he wanted to be like and that man was yours truly the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels. So you got into the wrestling business and tried your best to mimic me and be just like me but at the end of the day you just couldn't could you Jericho? No matter how hard you tried you always had that eating inside off you that you weren't on the same level as HBK and it has turned you rotten. It has destroyed you and consumed you until you couldn't take it anymore and you lashed out at HBK.


HBK: Now like I said before I warned you to stay away, I warned you to keep yourself to yourself. There is no denying your ability. You are a former world champion and one of the best wrestlers in the world. You have legions off fans and people who respect you but it's just not good enough for you is it? You crave to be the best, you need to be the best, you need people to say you are better than me, you need to beat me and well Jericho now you have my full attention, now my sights are set firmly on you and when it's all said and done in the end you will look back on this and say was it all worth it? Was it worth backing the old lion into a corner? As when I strike Jericho it won't be pretty, it will come from nowhere and knock you into next week and you will wish you never gave into that sickness that you have bee carrying to do with me.


HBK: So with that being said we will have a match at the ppv, we will see who is the best when we collide but you see you will be facing a new Shawn Michaels, well not new but the old shawn michaels who hasn't been seen for a long time. You will be facing the man who will take any advantage to get ahead, do anything to win, will break all the rules and when it's all said and done kick you so hard in the face your teeth will fall out!

Rhea's face drops as she hears the familiar song, and Ronda wastes no time, sprinting down the ramp, headed straight for the ring. Rhea barely jumps off the turnbuckle onto her feet before Rousey pounces onto her, firing a barrage of fists at Rhea's face as she struggles to protect herself, barely managing to block with her hands as the referee calls for the bell.

The referee attempts to pull Rousey off Rhea, and eats a fist for his trouble, and Ronda continues to hammer into Ripley's face, until suddenly she's grabbed from behind and tossed out of the ring!

It's Charlotte Flair, she's here to help Rhea!

The crowd cheers as Charlotte smiles looks down to the outside where Ronda lies, but as Charlotte looks to her side, and sees Ripley down on the ground, vulnerable, her smile fades, and she takes Ronda's place, continuing the assault on Rhea!

Oh for heavens sakes, someone help her!

For once, I actually agree with Renee, this is getting out of hand.

Charlotte grabs hold of one of Rhea's legs, and lets out a loud 'Woooooooooooooo', but before she can do anything else, She's grabbed from behind by Rousey and thrown out of the ring, just as she'd done to Ronda before. Rousey pounces back onto Ripley, who's trying to crawl away. It doesn't take long for Charlotte to recover and enter the ring, pulling Rousey back off of Rhea and to her feet, the two women argue amongst each other, and Rousey shoves Charlotte.

Are these two vultures actually arguing with each other over who gets to attack Rhea next?

Rhea is to blame for all of this, if she had kept her nose out of Charlottes match with Rousey then this wouldn't be happening.

It looks like things are about to get worse, look!

Pissed off, and completely unaware of what she's done, Charlotte shoves Rousey back, and she falls back into what feels like a brick wall. Rousey realises what she just smacked into, and slowly turns around, only to come face to face with...

Well can you blame her Corey? These two women have completely derailed her match.

Awesome Kong looks furious, sizing up the woman standing in front of her. Rousey knows her only way out is to fight, she fires three quick firsts into Kong's chest, and she barely moves. On the fourth strike, Kong manages to catch Rousey's fist in her giant hand, and with little effort, she flings Rousey half way across the ring by her arm. Rousey drags herself to the corner, pulls herself to her feet, but has no time to recover as Kong charges full force into her, squashing her between Kong's body and the corner.

Charlotte can't help herself, breaking into loud laughter as Kong assaults Rousey, but all it does is alert Kong to her presence, and she doesn't appreciate the comedy as much as Charlotte does. Kong turns away from Charlotte, and stares at Charlotte, and the laughter comes to a quick stop. Charlotte realises she's in trouble, and she's not dressed to compete, so she quickly makes a beeline for the ropes, she gets one foot through, before Kong grabs a chunk of her hair. Charlotte screams in agony, as Kong pulls her back into the ring, and throws her down to the ground by her hair.

Oh so when it's Charlotte, she deserves it, but Rhea and Ronda don't?

Charlotte grabs for her heel which flew off when Kong threw her, but before she can use it, Kong sprints towards her and crashes down across her back with all of her weight. Charlotte's insides feel like they've exploded, as she rolls out of the ring, defeated.

Kong surveys the damage she's caused, and out of the corner of her eye, she spots Rhea who's stirring, pulling herself up to her feet by the ropes.

No Kong, that's enough! Rhea's already been attacked, don't do it!

Kong doesn't care, and as Rhea finally gets to her feet, she's quickly restrained as Kong grabs her arms, turns her around and places her in the powerbomb position between her legs. Rhea begs for some relief, but Kong cluthes her arms, almost as if she's going to pedigree her, but instead, she lifts Rhea up into the air, Rhea screams, but there's no way out as Kong brings her crashing down to the canvas face first for her signature implant buster.

Kong shoves Rhea's body out of the ring onto the floor with her foot, and stands looking over the three women laid outside, as the show quickly cuts to commercial.

Just as this contest is set to get underway, with both competitors locking eyes in anticipation for the bell to chime...








Suddenly the fans’ positive attitude about this contest abruptly transitions into a boo that has been unmatched up until this point of the show. With the sultry whisper of her name and the warm and inviting glow of the stage, the longest reigning North American Champion makes her way out onto the stage with her pristine and prestigious title on her shoulder. As she strikes her signature pose atop the stage, both participants stop and look in her direction in utter annoyance and disbelief that they were once again being plagued by the constant presence of the Golden Goddess. After a brief moment though, they turn their attention back to one another, mutually making the decision to not let this match be entirely hijacked by Mandy Rose and to maintain the spirit of good sportsmanship and entertainment.

Rose sashays down the ramp, not paying a single golden droplet of attention to the fans or to the two competitors inside of the ring. As she glides right by ringside, feeling the two holes burning through her like laser beams from Alexa’s corner of the ring, Mandy makes her way over to the commentator’s table. Corey instantly clears his throat, stands to his feet, and adjusts his tie before pulling the wheeled leather chair out and bowing his torso while presenting the chair to Mandy with an open hand for her to take, in the true likeness of a queensguard or butler. Mandy takes his hand and elegantly finds her seat, positioned so that Graves is in between herself and the other two commentators.

As both Alexa and Kairi stand there admiring each other's efforts in the early goings of this match, the audience shows their support for both Women with dueling "Let's go Kairi! Let's go Alexa!" chants. Both best friends start to raise their hands up as they circle around the center of the ring, prepared to lock up again after their very technical competition thus far. Kairi goes for a tie up, but Alexa with something else in mind quickly ducks under Kairi's arm and starts running to the opposing ropes, shooting off of them as Kairi turns around and Alexa leaps off the mat wrapping her legs around Kairi as she whirls through the air for a headscissor take down. But rather than going the traditional approach, she stops herself mid rotation planting both feet back onto the mat, then follows up this unexpected move by kicking the legs out from under Kairi sending her back flat onto the mat. Meanwhile at ringside...

Do you guys realize how blessed we are tonight?... We have the best seat in the house! And no, I'm not referring to this piss-poor match going on.

Excuse me? While you and "God's Greatest Creation" might be content calling it a night after nothing but a prolonged look at the mirror, some of us actually appreciate a little friendly competition!

"Friendly competition?!" No good competition is friendly. These two are equally matched and equally as boring to watch, and quite frankly Renee, you're coming off as a bit of a hater right now.


He's right, your envy is coming off a little strong.

With The Pirate Princess in perfect position, Alexa drops forward with both knees into the abdomen of Kairi, then rolls forward ready to follow through with The Insult To Injury. As she springs backward, Kairi knowing her friend's offense very well rolls out of the way and Alexa's knees land into the mat leaving her momentarily prone for a counter attack. Kairi jumps to her feet then bounces off the ropes for momentum, rolling forward as she grabs a hold of Alexa's head and flips over her with her unique neck snap. Given the precisely timed attack, perhaps it's enough to keep Bliss down for a 3 count so Kairi goes for the pin...

But immediately after the referee's hand hits the mat a first time Alexa's shoulder flies off the mat and she sits up looking at Kairi with a widening of her eyes as if to say "you thought that would be enough" to which Kairi responds with a shrug that says "can't blame me for trying." Bliss is quickly back to her feet and the two are once again in a stand off.

As the longest reigning North American Champion, what are you professional thoughts on these two superstars, Miss Rose? Everyone's well aware of your dislike for Alexa Bliss as well as Kairi Sane outside of the ring, but witnessing this match now, you have to commemorate them as solid competitors inside of the ring, do you not?


As the longest reigning North American Champion, I don't. Neither of them are even capable of touching the legendary ground that I walk on on a daily basis.

Except for that time that Kairi Sane beat you just a couple of weeks ago, right?


Aren't you precious... Do you treat all of your guests with the same amount of disrespect? Besides, you can't show me that match on paper because it doesn't exist. I was obviously baited into a handicap match due to my highly renowned generosity and sportsmanship. I don't applaud or reward thug tactics, Renee, not in my division.

Spoken like a true Goddess! I couldn't have said it better myself, and as for you Renee, you have NO PROOF of that match! Show us the receipts! Kairi Sane does not hold a single victory over God's Greatest Creation.

This time Bliss is the one who initiates the makings of a lock up, but much like Alexa previously Kairi has other plans and ducks under her arm as well and begins to shoot off the ropes from the other side of the ring. She comes barreling back at Little Miss Bliss with her trademark interceptor...but Alexa again knowing her friend's moveset in and out from teaming together sees it coming and leap frogs up into the air. Kairi stops herself shortly after avoiding her target, but Bliss seeing her opportunity now jumps up onto the shoulders of Sane, then spins around to where she's in a traditional hurricanrana position and brings Kairi down to the mat with a hurricanrana straight into a pin.

Much like Alexa, Kairi isn't kept down for long, but given the unique pinning predicament she was in, rather than just kicking out, she uses her momentum from it to reverse the pin into a sunset flip position and the pin is now in her favor.

Bliss, not to be outdone pulls the very same card Kairi just used against her and propels herself back into control of the pin.

This time Kairi's shoulder pops off the mat and she rolls backward getting out of the original position, but still going for a similar strategy. Bliss was still on the mat so Kairi flips herself over on top of Bliss for a jackknife cover.

The referee feeling deja vu stops before his hand can hit two as Bliss starts to plant her feet onto the mat and slowly bridges up, causing the two of them be in a bridged position together for a second until Alexa digs deep into her "fury" and pulls Kairi forward with a backslide cover.

OF COURSE it’s not! Mandy has already explained countless times how she is in every way superior to these two, and subjecting herself to this kind of visual torment just proves how generous she is. To elevate this match to heights it otherwise would not have reached simply by gracing us with her presence is the epitome of selflessness! Are there no limits to your charity and good works, Golden Goddess?


No, and I think the truest testament to that is who I choose to give that charity and career boost to. If I’m being totally honest, you can’t really get any lower than Alexa Bliss. Statistically, physically, any way you’d like to slice it, she’s the lowest of the low. No matter how many times she tries to spit on my legacy or assault my image, I still lift her up, because that’s the kind of supportive environment I want this division to become under my reign.

AGAIN, these two refusing to stay down for longer than a one count, Kairi maneuvers her shoulders off the mat, then with Alexa's knees being on the mat Kairi completes the leverage pin mania by pinning Alexa to the mat with an Oklahoma roll.

Bliss shifts her shoulder off of the mat, and the two rise up from their knees and again find themselves staring across from one another. The fans are cheering loudly for their even stalemate clash thus far, proving that while they may be great partners, that seems to translate into them being great opponents as well. Bliss extends her arm forward for a bit of a show of sportsmanship, Kairi returns the token with a light "slap" to her hand then the two give a nod to one another as they know they're going to have to ramp things up if they want to get anywhere in this match. The question is who is going to make the first move? With a few seconds passing since their "you ready?" nod...Bliss suddenly swings forward for a clothesline, but Kairi kicks Alexa's arm blocking the attempt, then as Bliss grabs at her arm from Kairi's boot straight up punting it. Kairi sees her opening and grabs a hold of Bliss by her arm slightly wrenching it before elbowing her stretched out arm and then plants her feet to the mat for an Irish whip towards the corner...but Bliss returning the damage done to her arm uses her non-targeted arm to chop Kairi's arm. Sane's grip is broken and this allows Alexa to turn the tables on her pal by going for the very thing Kairi just tried to do to her. With a quick grab of Kairi's hand she propels her into the corner with an Irish whip.

The Number One Contender to The North American Championship takes a couple of steps backward, adding distance between herself and the cornered Number One Contender to The Women's Championship. She lets out a quick exhale, then starts to run forward, planting both hands onto the mat for a handspring, as she launches herself at Kairi for a corner clothesline with flare. But in mid jump, Kairi steps forward, ducking at just the right time for her and the absolute wrong time for Alexa. Unable to stop herself even if she sees the conundrum she's in Alexa's caught out of the air with a sudden Alabama Slam!

The Number One Contender for Tessa Blanchard’s Women’s Championship had Alexa Bliss scouted there! That just goes to show how well these two competitors know one another.


I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again now, when you’re as predictable as Alexa Bliss, a toddler could have you scouted. Come to think of it, that’s kind of what Kairi Sane is. Just look at her, like a little girl all dressed up to go trick-or-treating. It’s, almost cute.

Kairi Sane is a former Women’s Champion, how can you possibly equate her with a toddler?

You don’t have to answer that, Mandy... BECAUSE MANDY ROSE IS THE CURRENT AND LONGEST REIGNING NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION IN HISTORY, that’s how.

Bliss' back is flat out drilled into the canvas as Kairi in one moment has left Alexa Bliss in a very bad position. The very execution of that move in the way it was initiated added even more of a whiplash effect than normal due to Alexa's momentum gained from that handspring. She may have tried to use her athletic background to her advantage, but it was decisively and literally flipped against her. Sane for a second shows a look of concern, as she really let her best friend have it there...but knowing this is a match and they are required to fight in order to retain both of their championship opportunity at Coronation next week...Kairi hopes that maybe this one impactful move might just be enough to keep Alexa down for the exclamation point known as The Insane Elbow. She steps through the ropes onto the apron then begins to climb to the top rope and signals to the audience that she's looking to wrap this up.  This isn't an ideal situation for either of them so the quicker it's over the quicker they can be done being the puppets in Mr. McMahon and Mandy Rose's game. Kairi rises up to a standing position when suddenly...Bliss leaps to her feet launches herself against the top rope, causing Sane to lose her balance but thankfully she lands into a seated position on the corner rather than taking a nasty spill to the outside or to the mat.

Alexa seeing how this match has indeed kicked off into a much higher gear starts to wrap her arm around Kairi's head as she seems to be attempting her rope hung DDT. If she can spike The Pirate Princess into the mat from this position? That very well could be enough to score victory for Bliss. As she starts to pull backward, to set Kairi fully up for the move...Kairi proves far from easy to put down and begins to pummel Bliss's back with a flurry of strikes from slaps to fists, anything to avoid the demise on the horizon. Having been tenderized like tomorrow's dinner, Bliss' grasp is loosened, enough for Kairi to pull away, and then connect with a wicked forearm shot that knocks Bliss back a couple of feet. Bliss stumbles back, on wobbly wheels as Kairi pulls herself back to a vertical state on the top rope then leaps off with a flying Kabuki Elbow! Immediately upon impact, Kairi hooks the leg.

But just after two Alexa kicks out, finally down for longer than a one count but not enough for three just yet. Mandy audibly sighs over at the commentary desk, rolling her eyes.

As a matter of fact...

Mandy raises her title and gazed at her own reflection in the freshly polished gold plating. She appears completely captivated by her own celestial beauty, and is caught “zhuzhing” up her hair with her free hand while putting on her best pout.


I'm thoroughly enjoying the view.

A true class act, I’d never expect anything less. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all, especially not with a view like that! Did they not teach you that in Canada, Renee?

Must've been too busy riding moose and harvesting maple syrup.

Rather than letting her friend recuperate from being clobbered by that huge elbow, Kairi pulls Alexa up and resumes her attack. She throws an elbow from her left arm, then one from the right, then the left again, then once again the right. Bliss still not aware of her bearings slightly staggers back as she's rocked by elbow after elbow.  Kairi follows it up with another left elbow, then the right...then turns slightly with a back elbow strike that rocks Bliss even more than she already was. Feeling a rush of energy upon connecting with her series of strikes, Kairi opts to follow it up by turning and running off the ropes behind her for extra pepper on the finale to her signature strike fest. As she comes running back at Bliss for the clothesline that completes the combo....Alexa lets out a roar as she throws a WICKED right hand that immediately causes Kairi to crumble to the mat as she runs straight into it!


Does she always have to be so dramatic?

Bliss foggy from all the strikes stumbles to the mat into a cover as she hooks BOTH of Kairi's legs.

But despite getting clobbered by Bliss' fury, it's not enough and Kairi shoots her shoulder off of the mat staying alive in this match. Just like Kairi didn't let up on her offense previously, Bliss applies a front headlock to Kairi who now lied on her stomach. She pulls Kairi up to her knee, then up to a standing position, setting her up for The DDT. Unfortunately, as she's about to follow through with it, Kairi blocks it then shoves her back. Bliss immediately runs at her, Kairi side steps then starts to run toward the opposing ropes as Bliss herself shot off the opposite end of the ropes. Like two trains coming to a head-on collision, both with added momentum from the ropes start to come into contact but Kairi at the last second drops down sliding through Alexa's legs, taking them down with her in the process and mounts Bliss for a rather unconventional pin.

The referee's hand is about to hit the mat for a third time when Bliss in a panic uses a lot of her energy to shoot her arm off of the mat. She rolls onto her stomach from the momentum of her kickout, which...proves to be a TERRIBLE idea because, with Bliss' legs ever so slightly raised off of the mat, Kairi seizes her moment grabs a hold of them, then begins to pull back as she plants herself over Alexa...APPLYING THE ANCHOR SUBMISSION!

Alexa not expecting this to go like this screams out as the pressure is wrenched, the referee drops back to the canvas getting close to Alexa to ask if she wants to give up. She yells out "NO!" defiantly refusing to give up, Kairi again trying to end this as quickly as possible because this isn't easy for any of them...starts to pull back on the submission even further, bringing Alexa's feet dangerously close to her head as the submission starts to BRIDGE. Alexa's cries of agony grow louder as HER FEET ARE NOW LITERALLY ON HER HER HEAD! SHE IS BEING CONTORTED LIKE A PRETZEL!

Maybe after I finish her once and for all at Coronation, she can try selling her very own Twisted Bliss Pretzels! 'Cause Heaven knows nobody's buying her coffee.

The human body was not meant to be bent in this way, and the pain in Bliss' tone as she refuses the referee's offer to call the match says she's hurting...but with Mandy Rose ringside, and a huge title match coming up next week? The LAST thing she wants to do is tap out right now. It may be stubborn, it may be foolish, but she is adamant about not giving up. Kairi's expression is full of confliction. She hates to hurt Bliss like this, but this is the circumstance they've found themselves in. They have to fight and give it their all, and so The Pirate Princess is doing just that, giving it her all to break Bliss in half with the most brutal execution of The Anchor we've ever seen. The camera angle also catches a shot of a couple of cameramen and a director jogging down the ramp with their equipment. Alexa and Kairi are obviously a little too preoccupied to even pay the matter any attention at the moment.

Oops! I almost forgot, since this match is basically over already and I have this mandatory photo shoot in honor of my monumental reign as North American Champion, but I still really wanted to come out here and support the girls, I just decided make some subtle adjustments and relocate my photo shoot right here at ringside! Now, I’ll you’ll excuse me.

The men make it to ringside as Mandy removes her headset and rises to her feet. Corey spends his time fawning and gazing over her like a teenage girl in 2001 gazing at Justin Timberlake. Mandy makes her way over by the ring apron where she holds her Championship high, striking a pose while the cameras flash and capture a couple dozen photographs all in the frame of a few seconds. Back inside the ring, Bliss' hand stretches out, desperate to reach the ropes...but she's not close enough. So, knowing she has to do something because sooner or later her will to survive is going to wear out while in this extremely painful predicament...she starts to reach her arm to the side, trying to utilize Kairi's head position being so close to her. Finally, her arm manages to shift around Kairi's neck, and while not the prettiest execution of a sleeper headlock type hold, Kairi's own momentum on the submission makes Alexa's makeshift hold effective enough to give her a fighting chance.

Mandy then hops up to sprawl herself across the ring apron, showcasing the signature pose from her entrance while she holds the North American title high overhead. Meanwhile Kairi and Alexa are on the brink of a submitting one another just behind the Golden Goddess, but that does nothing to deter the cameras from flashing or her effortless posing.

Since when has the God's Greatest Creation ever been "conventional" by mere mortal standards? Everything move she makes is innovative, every word she speaks is sacred, she's the LONGEST REIGNING NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION for crying out loud! When will you people learn?

Kairi tries to mirror Bliss' stubbornness by keeping her submission intact even if it means she herself is slowly being choked out. But after a couple of seconds, the audience again dueling "Let's go Alexa! Let's go Kairi!" The simultaneously release their holds and lie on the mat physically drained from the fast-paced match they've shifted into. Both friends lie on the mat taking a breather, trying to use this opportunity to regain some of their energy since given how this match has progressed this might be their last opportunity to get that second wind.

Alexa starts to crawl her way to the corner, grabbing the bottom rope to drag herself closer and also as a way to try and get back to her feet. The support of the ropes proves effective as she pulls herself into the corner and turns around back against it the turnbuckle where she catches her breath some more. Kairi looking up and seeing Bliss where she is...gets an immediate idea and rather than recovering any longer springs to her feet charging at Bliss with a SPEAR into the corner! Bliss falls down clutching her ribs into a seated position...and that is where Kairi looks around at the audience, as everyone knows what comes next. She may be slightly spent but she is fueled by the adrenaline of knowing that this match could be close to over. Kairi starts to dramatically march to the opposing corner with purpose. While she does, Mandy has relocated herself in the appropriate corner by the obviously dazed Alexa Bliss. She holds up her title and smiles, barking at the cameramen to ensure that Alexa's defeated appearance is in the shot.


Say: "longest reigning Champion!"

Mandy smiles and gets several shots with the compromised Alexa Bliss. With each emphatic stomp, she sways her arms until she arrives on the other side of the ring then turns around taking aim at Alexa Bliss. With her target locked, and her elbow loaded...The Pirate Princess charges forward to connect with The Sliding D! But as she drops down to connect with the elbow to a seated Bliss...Alexa again using her gymnastics background rolls forward just in the nick of time avoiding her elbow causing Kairi's arm to strike the bottom turnbuckle with full force. Bliss in full rotation rolls to her feet, and as Kairi tries to pop back to her feet to avoid being hit by a counterattack...CURB STOMP! Kairi was on her knees, slightly hunched over as she was about to stand when suddenly Bliss sees her moment and lets her BFF feel all Five Five Feet of her FURY.

Alexa without a single second of hesitation hooks Kairi's inside leg and hopes that she's just Bliss-Missed The Pirate Princess from this match.

I absolutely do not, and neither does anyone else who is a fan of only the purest, most elite, and celestial wrestling of the Golden Goddess.

Bliss looks at her pal's foot on the ropes, she's not even really upset she's more so disappointed that she didn't even think that this could have happened when she delivered the stomp but of course given how the stomp was executed she just begins to nod as she sits there as if she should have known better than to count her Pirate Pal out of this match. But while Kairi was aware enough to get her foot on the bottom rope, she's still very much feeling the effects of having her skull driven into the mat by Alexa. Seeing that Sane is still very much susceptible to being pinned she drags Kairi away from the ropes then her sights shift to the top rope as the crowd begins to cheer knowing very well what she has in mind.

Little Miss Bliss sees her opening!

Slowly Alexa steps out onto the apron, then places her hand over the top rope as she begins to scale the corner until she's at last on her perch and staring down at The Former Women's Champion. She rises to a standing position, raising both backs of her hands into the air, her signature pose that signals the impending end...but as she's about to sherself off with Twisted Bliss...Kairi finding a second wind leaps to her feet! Alexa knowing how she previously dealt with Sane when the roles were reversed earlier in this match lowers herself down from a standing position to try and brace for impact as Kairi jumps up onto the bottom rope and drills Alexa with a hard forearm shot that fully knocks her down into a seated position on the top rope.

Kairi tosses Alexa's arm over her shoulder then climbs to the second rope seemingly setting up a superplex. But as she starts to go through the final motions, Alexa refuses to go without a fight. She struggles, tries to club Kairi's upper back with her free arm then manages to slip out of Kairi's grasp. With Kairi looking up at Bliss to put her back down and resume her original plan, as soon as she lifts her head...Bliss CLOCKS her with another wicked right hand! But rather than falling backward, she slumps forward almost knocked out from the shot. Kairi's arms fall against the second rope as her feet fell to the bottom rope. Alexa without much thought about what to do now rises back up to a standing position, the gears already turning as she jumps up, then LANDS ONTO THE BACK OF SANE...AND FLIPS OVER HER TAKING HER WITH HER WITH A SPECTACULARLY BRUTAL SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB FROM THE SECOND ROPE!

As the audience erupts with excitement over that incredible move, both Women crash and burn from the impact into the canvas. Kairi's body snaps off the mat and she rolls a few feet away from Bliss not by her own doing but the momentum behind that powerbomb. Alexa just falls to her back where she landed, that move took a lot out of her as well, the back of her spine essentially was driven into the mat itself and that isn't exactly a great feeling either. The official seeing how devastating that move was for both immediately drops to his feet to check on Kairi who took the absolute worst of it. She seems to nod that she's "okay" as if anyone can believe her after that move. But she's okay enough to where she's not injured and very much intended to continue on with this match. Given that she's nearly by the ropes her arm thanks to her ring awareness gravitates towards it hoping she can use it to get back to her feet quicker than if her own body was the sole source of stability. Once the official has ensured Sane is able to continue with this match he next shifts his sights to Alexa who still was lying on the mat.

He kneels down with his back to Sane to ensure he's fully attentive to Bliss' needs and then follows the same procedure he did with Sane. However, while the referee is conducting the procedure, the camera switches to ringside where Mandy Rose is beckoning one of her photographers. As he approaches her, she holds her hand out and instructs him to hand her the camera. He hesitates, given how undoubtedly expensive this piece of equipment is, but eventually he hands it over knowing full well who he is dealing with. Once in her hands, Mandy pretends to be scrolling through the images taken until... SHE STRIKES KAIRI SANE DIRECTLY IN THE FACE WITH THE CAMERA! The crowd begin to boo the Golden Goddess out of the building while the cameraman protests, but with the ref and Alexa both preoccupied, Mandy's involvement goes otherwise unnoticed. She hands the cracked camera back to the photographer who is in shock at this point, while Kairi falls back flat onto the mat in a state of unconsciousness.

After Alexa assures the referee she's fine she starts to pull herself up to her feet, and to her surprise...her friend is still down. She thought surely since her own recovery took so long that Kairi herself would have had enough time to be at least sitting up. But she's flat on her back, and she seems like she's completely out. Of course in a match, you can't take too much time to wonder about the semantics of things. Sane is down, she delivered a hard punch followed by a second rope Sunset Flip Powerbomb...maybe it was enough to incapacitate Kairi for this long. Unfortunately, WE know why Kairi is down, and that's why it's hard for the crowd to react when Bliss again finds herself looking to the top rope. She tries to climb the turnbuckle quicker this time given her slowness cost her previously and once she's standing on top of the turnbuckle...she looks down at Kairi, then leaps off...rotating as she descends delivering Twisted Bliss!

Bliss pulls herself off her defeated best friend and takes a seat besides her, a smile on her face directed at The Pirate Princess as if to thank her for the match that they just had. Unbeknownst to the referee and Alexa herself, the real deciding factor was the woman outside the ring with the object that was responsible for this match ending how it did and the live audience in attendance knows it, raining boos at the Golden Goddess, who takes this opportunity to rub it into Bliss, shouting out “See, they hate you too!” at Little Miss Bliss inside the ring, who has now just gotten her arm raised by the official. While she begins to celebrate her hard earned victory, in her mind, Kairi pulls herself up to a seated position, holding the back of her head after the calculated cheap shot Mandy Rose took while she was recovering from Alexa's gambit.

As she hops off the bottom rope and safely back onto the canvas, Bliss walks over to Kairi, dropping down to a knee, words inaudibly being exchanged between the duo before Alexa takes Kairi's arm and throws it over her shoulder, helping The Pirate Princess up to her feet. The second both women are on a vertical base, Kairi surprisingly shoves Alexa away, nearly sending the Five Feet of Fury back down to the canvas while Mandy, outside the ring, has the biggest open mouthed smile etched on her face, as if she were a child and this was Christmas morning. A dumbfounded Alexa Bliss is heard shouting, “What was that!?” towards the woman she thought was her best friend.

Will you be quiet? Cheering the difficulties of a friendship as pure as theirs is completely repugnant. They have had to deal with obvious attempts at destroying their bond for the entire last month. Enough is enough, and Mandy Rose should be ashamed of herself.  

Kairi's response is quite simple: A cold glare at the woman that took advantage of Mandy's actions. With the gravity of the situation now brought into context in Mandy's mind, she realizes that she was singlehandedly responsible for this friendship being undone after many failed attempts before. When the shock wears off, Bliss takes a step forward and shoves Kairi back, causing Mandy to gleefully jump outside the ring in excitement that her masterful plan has worked, well masterfully. She lifts her arms into the air, pointing at herself as she shouts out, “I did this!” as she looks towards the crowd.

Inside the ring, however, Kairi, using Alexa's shove as a boost, ricochets back first off the ropes and charges forward. In her way stands Alexa Bliss, who has interlocked her fingers and lowered her stance, awaiting the arrival of her Pirate Pal. When Kairi gets within range, she leaps into the air, placing a foot in Bliss' hands, causing her to launch her further into the air as if she were a human trampoline, allowing Kairi to soar over the top rope and outside of the ring into the unsuspecting North American Champion, wiping her out with a variation of her InSane Elbow.

An Elimination Chamber for Kairi's title, a Tag-Team match pitting them against each other, a Tag-Team match with the two of them fighting The Finals of The Queen Of The Ring Tournament couldn't stop them, and tonight with the threat of both having their opportunities at Coronation stripped from them if they didn't compete against one another...they still are as strong as ever, in spite of Mandy giving Alexa a hand in screwing Kairi out of this match.

Alexa quickly rolls out of the ring and makes her way towards Kairi before helping her up to her feet after her high flying adventure. As she's being pulled up to a vertical base, Kairi is heard shouting in what could only be Japanese towards the Golden Goddess, the bond between herself and Alexa being virtually indestructible as shown here tonight, it's going to take a lot more than one loss on top of everything they've had to deal with since Bliss set her sights on the North American Championship to drive a wedge between them.

I both stan and STAND behind OUR Golden Goddess...she has reigned supremely thus far...and some pipsqueak with a height complex trying to overcompensate for how inferior she is compared to someone like God's Greatest Creation...certainly won't be bringing anything to an end other than her tired drawn out attempt at making a name for herself off the celestial name of our North American Champion.

As Mandy is laid out on the thinly layered padding below, Kairi breaks apart from Alexa and drops down to a knee, taking a hold of the strap keeping the Championship around Mandy's waist and undoing it before pulling it away from her waist and handing it to her best friend. Bliss slowly extends her hand towards it, taking a hold of it before raising it up into the air, causing cheers to fill the arena, a sight that could easily become a reality at Coronation when she takes on Mandy in a Falls Count Anywhere match. A few moments of posing with the Championship pass as the photographer snaps a couple pictures of the two before Alexa gently places the Championship over Mandy's downed body, mouthing “At least you tried” before she and Kairi begin making their way to the back, the final shot being that of both women slapping the hands of the XWL Universe.

HAIL SABIN!


As the theme of the victorious Chris Sabin begins to play throughout the arena, the man in question pulls himself off a very game John Cena into a seated position besides the Leader of the Cenation, nodding to himself as if to say that was a hard fought victory to say the least. Gable, who was watching every moment of this match unfold, quickly slides into the ring and drops down to a knee, handing Sabin his half of the XWL Tag Team Championships. He takes it without hesitation and begins mouthing something towards Gable that isn't audible to the camera nor the fans, causing him to nod and make his way towards the far corner of the ring. Gable begins motioning towards the timekeeper's area for a microphone, which he receives a few moments later before returning to Sabin's side and handing him the microphone in question. Sabin opts to remain in his seated position and crosses his legs, causing Gable to take a seat besides him as Sabin tosses his half of the Championships over his shoulder. He's clearly out of breath and does his best to mask his fatigue when he raises the microphone towards his lips to speak.

We're six days away from Coronation and we have yet to see who your partner is, Matthew. I've heard of waiting until the last second but this is getting ridiculous, you either have a partner or you don't and from what I've seen, which is completely nothing might I add, it seems like you don't have a partner. Chadsworth and myself aren't about Handicap matches so if you want forfeit the match, we don't blame you, you'd be doing us a favor. Because the way I see it-

Suddenly the obnoxious clearing of someone's throat rings through our ears, and our sights shift to the stage where Matt Sydal proudly stands with his Intercontinental Championship over his shoulder.

Pardon my interruption, Chris...that was truly rude of me...but seeing as you're obsessed with being me, given your interest in going after my title...and digging up old "friends" of mine...I thought, hey...let's give Mr. LONGEST REIGNING DEFENDING TAG TEAM CHAMPION IN XWL HISTORY...a bit of a crash course in what it's truly like to be The Iron Man Of XWL. I've often competed not just once....a night. But actually, TWICE. Many times, and I've won those matches. So seeing as you yourself just won a match over John Cena...aka the guy I once made TAP OUT to retain my World Title, aka the record that hasn't been beaten in 8 years...I think you've got a real shot at proving you actually CAN be me! So Chris, I looked long and hard to find you the right opponent, and I do mean LONG AND HARD...like, dude...besides being Shelley's partner you just weren't that interesting on your own, were you? BUT, never fear for thanks to the magic of The XWL Network...I've tracked down a match that TRULY will test whether or not you've learned a few things since your last failed attempt at becoming Intercontinental Champion...oh, and I'm not talking about The Elimination Chamber...I mean the time BEFORE that. Aka, the time where Chris Sabin tried to prove he could go it alone in singles competition, and got his sorry ass handed to him by a guy who bedazzled his abs.








Morrison strikes his signature slow motion pose before heading down the ramp ready to use this opportunity to perhaps mount a comeback to XWL. He of course once defended The Intercontinental Championship successfully against Chris Sabin...obviously Sydal is taking a page out of Sabin's playbook from last week when he dug up the guy who ended Sydal's first reign as I.C Champion.

Over Easy from Sabin!


With Sabin in prime position to exorcize one of the demons from his past, he goes to pin the downed John Morrison before stopping in his tracks, looking over his shoulder towards the Intercontinental Champion standing outside the ring with his arms crossed looking on at his plan potentially backfiring much like Sabin's did the week prior. With the memories of that week playing on repeat in the back of his mind, where Sydal had the audacity to use Sabin's Cradle Shock to put away his surprise opponent in William Regal, Sabin's expression changes as he pulls himself to his feet. When he makes it to a vertical base, Sabin takes a hold of Morrison's head and forces him to his feet against his will. He's kicked in his abdomen, doubling over the former Intercontinental Champion and takes his right arm, taking a hold of it between his left before Sabin places his arm over the back of Morrison's head. A curious Sydal looks into the ring, the move being set up looking familiar before he nods following the realization of the move Sabin is attempting, turnabout being fair play. Sabin lifts Morrison off the canvas and flips him into the air, slamming him back down onto the canvas with Sydal's very own Here It Is Driver!

A surprised Sabin looks down at Morrison for a second in disbelief before shifting his focus towards the ref to confirm whether or not that was a three count. The referee waves it off saying it was in fact not a three count, causing Sabin to run his hands through his hair in frustration. A few moments pass before Sabin comes to a realization of his own, surely it wasn't his own fault, he executed the maneuver to perfection, it had to be the move itself, right? With this belief in his mind, he looks over to Sydal, shouting out “Your finish sucks!” causing the Intercontinental Champion to shout "No, you just lack the DRIVE TO ACTUALLY PERFORM IT! IT'S CALLED A DRIVER, YOU CAN'T DRIVE WITH WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE" Sabin doesn't give Sydal's words a second thought due to him having to think of another way to put down the man he has never beaten, perhaps he should have pinned him after the Over Easy before all this started?

Sabin exits out onto the apron and begins scaling the turnbuckle from the outside, causing cheers from the live audience in attendance to emanate due to whatever high risk maneuver Sabin has in mind. Unbeknownst to the crowd, Sabin doesn't actually have anything specific in mind when he makes it to the top, looking towards the still downed John Morrison laying on the canvas below. But which of his many diving maneuvers will he use to attempt and put down his impromptu opponent for the three count. Sabin looks towards the outside to once again lock eyes with Sydal, causing an idea to pop into his head, surely the Here It Is Driver was the weakest of his finishing maneuvers, but maybe the Shooting Star Press was the golden ticket to winning this contest? Sabin refocuses on his opponent and takes a deep breath, after all, a high risk maneuver could make or break a competitors chance of winning a match.

Throwing caution into the wind, Sabin leaps off the top rope, doing a slow rotation backflip through the air, barely managing to do the full spin before he lands across Morrison's chest, successfully managing to pull off the Shooting Star Press. Sabin's expression is one of surprise as if to say “I actually did it!” before he falls into the cover.

Sabin's theme plays for the second time in the night, causing Gable to reenter the ring and help Sabin up to his feet to celebrate his well deserved victories. Matt pulls a golden scorecard out from within his jacket which reads a "2" as he shouts "YOU LOOKED LIKE A FISH HAVING A SEIZURE!" With Sydal now on the stage and our reigning and defending XWL Tag Team Champions in the ring, Gable and Sabin raise their Championships into the air, prompting Sydal to do the same with the Intercontinental Championship. With this being the final shot before we head into a commercial break, who is Sydal's partner going to be at Coronation as he takes on the Trash City Stupid Idiots in a match where if he and his partner win, they will be granted an XWL Tag Team Championship match but if TCSI win, Sabin will be granted a one on one Intercontinental Championship match against Sydal? Does he even have a partner? The question will have its answer one way or another at Coronation.

We come back from commercial to see Becky Lynch standing in the middle of the ring wearing her "The Man" shirt, holding a mic in her hand and wearing a scowl of sorts on her face. She brings the mic to her mouth.

It's been a full week, a WEEK since I laid down the challenge to Layla...Nothing, no voicemails, no texts. I even @'d her on Twitter and started a #BeckyvsLayla but still, nothing.

Now I know she's probably at home enjoying her retirement sipping a drink out of a coconut with her husband, but the challenge has been laid down Layla. Don't you want to prove to everyone around the world that you STILL GOT IT? You've done so much in this Company that when I started this whole Becky Lynch Legendary World Tour you were always the one I had in mind to face last. You literally hold the RECORD  for most Divas Title defenses when you beat the likes of AJ Lee who held the record for longest Women's Championship reign, Eve Torres THREE times and that has nothing on you defeating Michelle McCool FOUR TIMES! A woman who holds the record for most Divas Championship wins and if that wasn't enough you defended that belt in a GAUNTLET match against McCool, Molly Holly, and Alicia Fox! Then after you lost it to Kana and for those of you who don't know that's Asuka, you won it back in 2013 for your second time!

The crowd here tonight cheers for Layla and breaks out a "ONE MORE MATCH! ONE MORE MATCH! ONE MORE MATCH!" chant Becky nods along with the chants, hoping any of this would get through to her.

YOU were the VERY FIRST WOMEN'S CHAMPION when YOU rebranded the Divas as WOMEN SUPERSTARS! You single-handedly pushed this industry into the next generation when you MADE people listen, we aren't Divas. WE'RE SUPERSTARS! Anyone of us can and has competed with the Men, I don't call myself "The Man" because I wish I was one, I'm THE MAN because I AM the greatest SUPERSTAR XWL has RIGHT NOW, YOU were MY inspiration, and I know what people are gonna say "Becky, you haven't won anything here yet, but you call yourself the best?" and you're DAMN RIGHT! I'm the best because I FEEL IT! It doesn't matter to me if other Women like McCool, AJ or even my good friend Natalya have longer Title Reigns, Layla was THE BEST of the BEST and she proved that right before her retirement when she won the Women's Championship for the second, and last time. She proved that when she was THE BEST General Manager in XWL History and if she came back for one....more....match. SHE COULD PROVE IT YET AGAIN WHEN THE MAN BECKY LYNCH TAKES ON THE LIVING LEGEND LAYLA EL! Whaddya' say Layla? Shall we make HISTORY? Or are you happy with fading out of everyone's memories, just like the other legends no one ever mentions...



Suddenly the arena erupts as Becky's face lights up. Is it truly her? Is Layla showing her face since she was forced to step down as General Manager? Sure enough it is indeed her, she walks out casually dressed, looking as good as ever with a bright smile on her face. She quickly makes her way to the ring and walks past Becky to retrieve a microphone as a huge "WELCOME BACK!" chant echoes for one of XWL's most popular superstars in the history of the company. Popularity she earned through blood, sweat, and tears in shaping the division into the division it has now become.

My my, Becky...we've never had the pleasure of meeting...but you sure do know how to sell yourself, don't you? I usually don't answer to ANY man, even my husband as he'll tell you. But I gotta say, all of this is rather flattering...but as everyone knows this chapter of my life has been closed for some time now.

Some fans start to boo disappointingly, not out of anger because Layla's story is well documented, she was forced to retire it wasn't exactly a choice.

Believe me, I get it...I loved to be in this business, to wrestle, to manage, to break barriers, to set new standards, I lived and breathed every aspect of it. But I made peace with all of this coming to an end a long time ago. This wasn't really a choice I was allowed the luxury of making. My stubborn nature and refusal to believe I couldn't do anything...left me with a lot of scars that are forever. Competing in Hell in a Cell and The Elimination Chamber were huge for this division, because look at it now...they're normal...they're no longer "WOW WOMEN IN THESE HARDCORE MATCHES." They're on the level of when Men compete in them. They are brutal and special still, but no longer are they simply about the gender involved, but rather the animosity between the people who are going to war in them.

She smiles as she recalls the past experiences that made her into who she is.

But you don't reverse a Superplex from the top of a pod, into a neckbreaker...without taking several years off of your career. That is the sacrifice we make, it's one I made without question. But while my last name is now young, and I still look as good as ever...unfortunately, I have aged. My age caught up with me, the injuries, the pushing through periods where I needed to take time off...caught up with me. I had one last run as Champion, and for the first time in my career...I was one doctor's decision away from being forced to vacate my title because I couldn't get cleared to compete for it. But like every other decision in my career, I refused to take no for an answer. I went out there with the agreement from that doctor that if they let me compete in one last match...I would announce my retirement after the match win or lose.

Her smile fades as she has to look back on the night that she shocked the world, after losing her title she grabbed a microphone and delivered the heart shattering news that all the years of pushing her body past the limits had caught up with her.

That was very difficult for me, because you know...it's been several years upon years since that decision. I feel great today, I don't hurt, I don't feel light headed, I don't struggle to get up every day and go to the gym anymore. As much as I'd love to compete in....one...more...match. I just don't know if I've even still got "it" or rather if I even want to have it anymore because I tried to numb the pain of retiring by being "okay" with it....and the issue with that is when one of today's hottest Superstars comes and challenges you, there's a big part of you that wants to say yes...but then I have to say, is it worth it? Is this match really that important to you? Am I truly the "greatest legend" you feel you need to test yourself with before you can know if you're ready to become a Champion or not? If I'm going to risk reopening old wounds...I need to know really, and truly...what is THIS match to you, Becky? Am I just a notch on The Man's belt...or is it more?

This match is EVERYTHING to me Layla, you were my inspiration to get back into wrestling. When I injured myself on the indies and no one wanted anything to do with me, I thought my wrestling career was done. I was sad, I was hurt. I packed my bags and I went home, I got a stunt double role on the show Vikings to try and fill the void wrestling left, it didn't work. After my dream died I stopped watching wrestling altogether, until one day I was at the pub and the barkeep was playin' a wrestling promotion I've never heard of, XWL, and somethin' caught my eye. You, I saw you fighting for your life inside the first ever Women's Hell in a Cell match. I watched the entire thing and I was so into the match I ended up watching the rest of the show. That night I fell in love with XWL and told myself, I don't care how long it takes. I WILL make it to XWL and I WILL challenge Layla to a match. Years passed before I got my shot and unfortunately by the time I did, you had already retired but, I didn't let it get me down because I KNEW! If I could PROVE myself to YOU that one day you'd come back and give THE MAN ONE...MORE...MATCH! Don't take my word for it, though. Take theirs!

Becky raises her mic into the air and we hear "YOU STILL GOT IT! ONE MORE MATCH! YOU STILL GOT IT! ONE MORE MATCH!" as Becky smirks. She brings her mic down to her mouth once more.

Make history one more time Layla, let's make the trip here worth it. In my mind, if I can't beat the Woman who gave me my drive to become better, to retry professional wrestling, then I don't deserve to challenge for The Women's Championship...

Layla mulls over what Becky said, nodding to herself as her microphone sways at her side, trying to read Becky's challenge and see if there's actual validity to the claims she's made. Coming back for one more match would be exciting...but it has to be with the right person, and is The Man that person?

To be "The Man" you have to beat The Man, isn't that what they say? I never referred to myself in that way, but when you look at this division's history? I WAS "The Man." I'm the one who gave it my all each and every opportunity I was presented. I can see that fire in you, Becky...and if what you say is true...it's very humbling to be in this ring with you tonight knowing your journey and the trials and tribulations you yourself have had to overcome. I planned to come out here to respectfully decline....because I made peace with my departure once and I know it would be hard to have to do it all over again...but hearing you speak, and seeing you here...I feel motivated to test myself against the current crop of talent in this division, to remind them of who paved the road they now get to enjoy freely. So Becky? You say "One More Match?" I say...YOU'RE ON! Let's see if "The Man" can do what no man has ever been able to do, and that's keep me down.

The fans rejoice as the match is official, Layla comes back out of retirement for ONE MORE MATCH against Becky Lynch at Coronation! The two shake hands as they stare down and the scene ends.

Anarchy returns from a commercial break and we're shown a live shot of the arena, thousands of members of the XWL universe are in attendance this evening and judging by the setup that's in the ring right now? they're about to bare witness to a contract signing. Renee Young is standing by in the ring to tell us more.

Welcome ladies and gentleman to the official contract signing for the MAIN EVENT of Coronation. For those of you that haven't heard yet, it's been made official, Tessa Blanchard vs Kairi Sane for the Women's Championship will be headlining the Coronation pay per view event, and in just a matter of moments, both competitors will be making their way out here to get their final thoughts off of their chest heading into one of the biggest Women's Championship encounters we've ever seen in this company. For Tessa and Kairi? it's legitimately all or nothing, win or go home, it's the final showdown for Tessa Blanchard and Kairi Sane and it takes place at Coronation. Once both competitors have gotten anything and everything off of their chest, we will commence with the contract signing itself, each competitor will be provided with a pen by me, and given time to go over the details of the contract if they choose, once they're satisfied, they sign their name on the dotted line and slide the contract and pen across the table to the opponent. Once both names have been signed onto the contract, Coronation's Women's Championship main event will be 100% set in stone and official.

The crowd lets out a big pop at the sound of the Women's Champion's theme, within moments Tessa Blanchard has appeared on stage in a pair of jeans, black boots, and a black T-3 Tessa tank top that you can get right now on XWLshop.com. Tessa has her back facing the crowd as usual due to what's about to happen next, she sways her hips from side to side and quickly swings her head around before throwing out that infamous wink which has signaled to the world that they've just bore witness to the world famous "Tessa" pose that's captivated so many around the world. Tessa full turns to face the crowd and we get a great look at that gorgeous Women's Championship belt that's firmly draped over her right shoulder. Contract signings are usually always an occasion in XWL that ends on a sour note, but one can imagine with all that these two have been through? with all of the respect they have for one another? that tonight will go off without a hitch with nothing more then a little friendly competition and a little light banter to prepare fans for what will be the final showdown for these two fierce rivals at Coronation.

Tessa makes her way down the ramp and is sure to slap many fans hands along the guardrails on the way down before turning the corner which leads to the steps. Tessa steps out onto the apron and looks out at the thousands of cheering fans, she lifts the title off of her shoulder and raises it momentarily for the fans before stepping through the ropes, entering the ring, and placing the title right back on her shoulder where it belonged. Tessa acknowledges Renee and shakes her hand before taking her seat on her side of the table, she stands her title belt up on the table for the whole world to see by hooking it together as it were around her waist, the face plate of the title was now perfectly balanced and facing across from her, in perfect view of the empty chair that sits across from the champ right now, the same chair that in a matter of moments? the Pirate Princess Kairi Sane will occupy.

And now, please join me in welcoming the former Women's Champion, and the challenger for that very title at Coronation, the Pirate Princess, Kairi Sane!!!!!





The theme of the challenger to the Women's Championship, as Renee previously mentioned, begins to play throughout the arena, a positive reaction filling the air as the former Women's Champion emerges from behind the curtain, not wanting to waste any time here tonight. As Kairi walks out onto the stage, her appearance is noticeably different, for starters, her trademark coat is absent, as is her pirate hat. Instead, she opted to wear her own merchandise in the form of a black shirt with a pirate wheel on it and her name both above and below it, perhaps to show how seriously she's taken this contract signing, the second one between herself and Tessa. Kairi begins her descent down the entrance ramp, slapping the extended hands of the XWL Universe on either side of her. Without much fanfare, she makes it to the bottom of the ramp and turns the corner, beginning to scale the ring steps until she's on the apron. She places a foot into the ring between the bottom and middle rope before the rest of her body follows suit, entering the ring in one swift motion and walking towards her destination in the form of her chair in the middle of the ring. Just like Tessa before her, Kairi shakes Renee's hand and lowers her head slightly, moving over towards the chair to take a seat. A smile is exchanged between Champion and Challenger before Kairi takes a hold of the microphone in front of her and raises it up to be the first to speak.

What started as a match for Tessa to use me to send a message to the rest of the women's division that she was here to stay when she put me through that announcers table naturally blossomed into a battle supremacy and mutual respect. And now, five months later, here we are, the Main Event of Coronation, facing each other one more time in a Two out of Three Falls match. A fitting finale to our war to say the least.

Cheers fill the ring, whether it be genuine excitement for the match, respect for the two competitors in the ring or a mixture of the two has yet to be seen, one thing is for certain though, the positive energy from the live audience in attendance is electric.

Kairi Sane
On any given night, either of us could walk away victorious. Just look at International Incident, on that night, I was just a little bit quicker and pinned your shoulders to this canvas to become the Women's Champion for the first time in my career. Then at Downpour, it was you that was just ever so slightly faster than I was when you pinned me in the final two to regain the Women's Championship inside the Elimination Chamber. This war between us to decide which one of us truly deserves to hold the Women's Championship more has bit two women that are virtually even in every regard. I think our record against each other speaks volumes, two wins a piece, it is quite literally a coin toss to see who wins between us. The difference between this match and our previous ones, aside from the obvious stipulation, is that this is your chance to prove that you never should have lost the Women's Championship to begin with, that just like Natalya before you, you deserve a long and fruitful reign after dethroning the longest Women's Champion in history. While I, on the other hand, need to redeem my loss inside the Elimination Chamber. After we eliminated two women each, it came down to us, the final two, a rematch of International Incident and on that night, you were the better woman, that Women's Championship on your side of the table proves it.

I couldn't agree more with everything you said Kairi, but at the same time, as true as it may be that we're essentially equal? it can't be that way forever, not just for us, but for the health and overall long term growth of this division as a whole. It has to end at Coronation, and by god did we have to FIGHT to EARN our right to END this rivalry once and for all at Coronation, we're gonna do this OUR way, and on OUR terms, but at the end of the night, when all is said and done, one of us will hoist this Women's Championship above their head, not just having won the battle, but having won the WAR itself, that person? they will have without a doubt earned the right to be called Women's CHAMPION!

The XWL universe couldn't agree more with Tessa's sentiments, these two are ending this chapter in their story on their way, on their terms, and at the end of it all, one of them will be the true and deserving Women's Champion.

We can't leave any question marks, not a hint of doubt can linger in anyone's minds as to who won this war and who subsequently solidified their place at the top of this division once and for all. It's up to us to make sure we go through hell to see who deserves that right the most and to see who deserves to lead this division into the future. At this point? We know each other like the back of each others hand. We know each others move set's, we know the counters to those moves, we know each others tendencies, we know how to break those tendencies and make each other uncomfortable out there, my point is, you can't split us apart, we counter each other perfectly, but at International Incident? I saw first hand that one can counter the other perfectly for over an hour, and it still only takes one slip up and a three count for it to all be over.

Tessa's spot on right there, we saw counter Cutlass after Cutlass at International Incident, no one has an exact total on hand but one would say she at least countered six Cutlass attempts if not more from Kairi in that war that lasted over an hour, but at the end of the day, when she finally landed the Cutlass, three seconds later and Tessa's first reign as champion was all over.

So how do you do it? how do you definitively end this stalemate we're at? We force ourselves to beat the other TWICE on the same night, in the same match. I'm no poet but I feel like there's something beautifully poetic in how this whole thing between me and you has gone. Bitter rivals to start, one hundred percent my fault on that one I might add, nonetheless, from bitter enemies at the start, to pretty darn good friends as we sit here today staring down the inevitable end to our story. Well, maybe not the end forever per say, I don't like that, too broad of a statement, let's just say, end of this chapter in our story, I think that's more fitting. So what do we do Kairi? The pen's are in our hands to write this final chapter at Coronation, how does it end? We both feel confident in our abilities to beat one another, we both know we can get a win over the other on any given night, but this isn't just one win, this ain't the flip of a coin anymore, it has to be DECISIVE, one of us has to beat the other twice in the same night to break this two wins a piece deadlock we have in our head to head record, one of us will get that third win to end it all. So two questions I suppose Kairi, will it be you standing there with this title when the page is turned and our chapter is finished? alternatively? if it's Me standing there raising my title at the end of the show, what does that mean for Tessa Blanchard and Kairi Sane going forward? What's the aftermath look like?

Regardless of what happens, win, lose or, god forbid, draw, we will both know that we left everything we had in that ring and whoever walks away with the Women's Championship will be more than worthy enough to hold it. We will show the world what we are truly capable of and why we more than deserved to not only have this match but also the Main Event. Despite the hurdles that we had to jump through to make this happen, we're finally here, it's finally a reality, Tessa Blanchard versus Kairi Sane for the Women's Championship one final time in a Two out of Three Falls match. From all the matches we could have chosen, we could have taken a page out of the historic Natalya versus Sasha Banks rivalry and made this a Hell in a Cell, but we aren't trying to end the others career. We could have gone the route that Alexa and myself took when we defeated she who shall not be named and Nia Jax in a Last Team Standing match, but we aren't in a bitter rivalry. We chose a simple yet fitting stipulation, one that doesn't overshadow the match, the history between us or the competitors involved.

We've each been pinned by the other in the center of this ring twice, but never in the same night, let alone the same match. Our war at International Incident lasted over an hour, we left everything in that ring and then some, we showed what we could do if we were given a chance and we didn't disappoint. Now imagine everything that went into that match, the fight we each had, the desire for you to keep your reign intact and for me to finally become Women's Champion, the heart we showed with every kickout, our inability to accept defeat until we had absolutely nothing left. Then take everything from the Elimination Chamber, you striking first when you eliminated Io Shirai, then me following suit when I eliminated Asuka, you firing back when you eliminated my best friend in Alexa Bliss, then me eliminating Becky Lynch until you finally eliminated me and regained the Women's Championship after another war between us. Take both of those instances, combine them then double it because that is what this Two out of Three Falls match is. I have to do what I did at International Incident twice to regain the Women's Championship, whereas you have to do what you did at Downpour twice to keep the Women's Championship in your possession. Those two matches were difficult on their own but to have to make lightning strike twice in the same night? That is how true Champions are made. My question to you is: Are you ready to put everything on the line to remain Women's Champion? Because I am more than willing to do the same to regain my treasure.

With that said, Kairi places her microphone back on the table, causing Renee to place her hand on the contract that's been patiently waiting on the table and slide it over to the hopeful contender, allowing her to examine the contract. Upon receiving the contract, Renee hands her a pen to sign with should she accept the terms of the contract itself. Kairi opens it up and spots the Coronation logo on the top portion of the page with both her and Tessa's names, as well as “Women's Championship Match” below it. This is apparently all our Pirate Princess needed as confirmation before she presses the top of the pen to reveal its ballpoint. She scribbles her name on the first page and takes a hold of the bottom corner to flip to the next page where she does the same thing before placing the pen on the contract and closing it, sliding it over to the Women's Champion shortly after. Tessa leaves the contract in place in front of her opting to lift the microphone up to speak before signing her name on the dotted line.

Not only am I "ready" to put everything on the line, I WILL put everything on the line and do whatever it takes to retain this championship. Lemme tell you, Me and You? we've both got nothing to lose and everything to gain, that makes us both dangerous, but to top it all off, you seek redemption for losing your title in your first defense just like I did when I lost to you at International Incident, that makes you extra dangerous, but you know the only thing that's more dangerous then someone seeking redemption? someone who's seeking validation and that person is me. Neither of us have been able to break through the roadblock that we've been to one another and really put a stamp on our title reigns in the history books, we haven't been able to blaze the trail we want to blaze in this division because we've both ended each others reigns in the first outing.

At Coronation, I have the same mentality that I had going into Final Stand when I became Women's Champion for the first time, throw caution to the wind, stay focused, stay with the gameplan, and do whatever it takes to walk out as Women's Champion. If that means I tear a ligament or break a few bones? so be it, if it's something even more severe then that? then it's no different, if I have to take a dangerous risk that could seriously injure me, maybe even end my career, and it means I have a better chance of walking out with my title in hand? then those are the sacrifices I'm prepared to make to walk out as Women's Champion. That's what this title means to me, that's what I'm prepared to do to continue elevating this division night in and night out and ensure that the XWL universe gets their money's worth everytime I step into the ring. Injuries come with risks, but with no risk, there's no reward, I knew what I was signing up for when I got into this business, the goal was to one day sit atop the mountain with this title in hand and call myself the best in the world, but the problem right now is? you can very well lay claim to that moniker yourself. The way I see it? we're both atop the mountain, I have the hardware, but that's still not enough, you're still right beside me, and that mountain top? it only has room for one of us, and come Coronation Kairi, with all due respect, I'm knocking you off that mountain and claiming it and this company as my own.

Tessa places the mic on the table and opens up the closed contract, she grabs the pen that was placed on the inside and briefly evaluates the contract, within seconds she proceeds with scribbling her name onto the first page directly beside Kairi's before flipping to the second page and doing the exact same thing. She presses in the top of the pen to retract the tip and places it on the front of the contract before closing it up and gently sliding it over to our moderator Renee Young.

Ladies and gentleman it's now official, Kairi Sane will challenge Tessa Blanchard for the Women's Championship in a special two out of three falls main event of Coronation in what many people including themselves have dubbed to be their "Final Showdown". It's gonna be a can't miss ending to what is sure to be a jam packed pay per view event and we hope to see you all there and if you're not there live, we hope you tune in live on pay per view. Ladies I'd like to thank you for your time, I must return to my position on the commentary table now if you'd excuse me, to all of our fans here and at home tonight, please enjoy the rest of the show!

The two competitors rise and both individually shake Renee Young's hand as she makes her way out of the ring and back to the commentary table. Kairi then extends her hand across the table that had separated champion and challenger and Tessa wasted no time in gracefully accepting the handshake. Tessa picked her title belt off of the table and made sure the strap was bolted together before she placed it over her left shoulder. Kairi exited the ring from her side as did Tessa from her respective side, both competitors went around ringside slapping almost every fan's hand before meeting up at the area where the ramp meets the ringside area, they simply smile and nod at each other before proceeding up the ramp, Tessa slaps fans hands on the left side of the rail whilst Kairi takes care of the right side, before long? both of them have reached the top of the ramp and have taken center stage.

Tessa and Kairi both look out at the crowd and smile, Kairi does a few elbow poses whilst Tessa proceeds with giving them all her signature wink. In what is seemingly the last goodwill gesture of this segment before it will come to an end, Tessa raises Kairi's right hand high in the sky and points at her with her free hand, an ultimate sign of respect from champion to challenger, but all of a sudden, this goodwill gesture has turned sour real quick as Kairi attempted to bring her hand down normally and when it didn't work? when her hand didn't move? she turned to the right to look into Tessa's eyes and she saw the look of someone with one thing in mind, PAYBACK!!!

In that "oh shit" moment, Kairi instantly realized why what was about to happen was happening in the first place, but it was already too late, Tessa had used her grip on Kairi to spin her around furiously and place her in the hammerlock hold before spiking her head straight down into the stage with her trademark Buzzsaw DDT. This completely took the air out of the crowd and even brought down a fair share of boo's from the audience in attendance this evening. One can imagine that this was some sort of measure of payback on Kairi for what happened the last time these two had a contract signing, when Kairi almost broke Tessa's neck with a nasty Cutlass and left her laying. This had to be revenge for that incident because what else could it possibly have been? It appears the XWL universe will be left to ponder all of these questions and more as Tessa picks up her title that fell in the midst of the Buzzsaw being hit, she raises it above her head as she just continues to stare down at the fallen number one contender as the show goes to commercial break, one things for sure though, this crowd is in a state of shock and awe over what they've just witnessed.

With Velveteen Dream and Tyler Breeze already in the ring, AJ Styles comes out and all three await the arrival of his unannounced partner tonight. After a brief hesitation, James Ellsworth eagerly runs down to the ring as the voluntary 4th participant, and insists on starting the match. Prince Pretty kicks things off for his team, and 2 seconds into the match hits the Beauty Shot on Ellsworth. With their slimy opponent in perfect position after the finishing move, Breeze tags in his partner Velveteen, who climbs to the top rope to hit the Purple Rainmaker. Velveteen hooks the leg for the 3 count.

We are shown a video package highlighting the events that occurred d last week between “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela, “The Limitless” Keith Lee, and “The Lunatic Fringe” Dean Ambrose. Once the video package comes to a close the camera cuts to the announce table.

Ladies and gentleman as you saw, last week Joey Janela and Dean Ambrose went to war in the ring. They bent the rules, they made use of the outside, they even found new ways to implement the steel steps and ring post… But when it was all said and done, the match ended with a count out victory.

That’s right, but tonight we get to see a rematch!! And this time they won’t have to worry about breaking the rules, because there aren’t any!! It’s an Extreme Rules Match!!

Knowing those two, I hope that there are going to medics on standby!!

I wouldn’t be surprised if there are. Both of those men are known for finding unique ways of using weapons to their advantage.

There’s going to be blood, there’s going to be tears, ladies and gentleman Dean Ambrose and Joey Janela in an Extreme Rules Match is the definition of “Don’t Try This At Home Kids.” I can’t wait!!

Well luckily we won’t have to wait long, but in the meantime we do have a video clip that was captured during one of the commercial breaks last week. This exclusive clip has aired on XWL.com, and it got so many hits that we just had to share it with you all tonight!!

That’s right! Last week we saw Joey Janela confront Dean Ambrose only to get shoved into a locker. “The Lunatic Fringe” then broke the camera, forcing us to go to commercial.

Unfortunately we weren’t able to get any of our cameramen on the scene to record the rest of the backstage scuffle, however one of the XWL crew members was able to record it all on his phone.

[[Corey Graves]]
Let’s take a look.

We can see the closed locker room door of Dean Ambrose. The cameraman’s hand can be seen reaching for the doorknob, but before he is able to get close enough to grab it the door swings open, followed by the body of Joey Janela!!

Joey!!

Penelope rushes out the door next, kneeling besides Joey with a worried look on her face.

You monster!!

[[Dean Ambrose]]
No, that’s Braun Strowman… I’m no monster..I’m a Lunatic..

Penelope is helping Joey to his feet as the camera focuses back to the locker room door, where Dean Ambrose has just stepped out of.

[[Dean Ambrose]]
You fucked up now Joey.. It’s a shame really, I usually get a lot more pleasure from kicking the crap out of people. But I actually kind of like you. Don’t get me wrong, I’m still going to enjoy breaking your body, I’m just not going to enjoy it as much as I usu-

Out of nowhere, a steel chair comes flying into frame. It cracks off the head of Ambrose, sending the Lunatic stumbling over. Ambrose uses the nearby wall to keep himself upright. We see Ambrose smile at this.

Joey Janela
Come on you son of a bitch!

Janela comes flying in with a right hand, but Ambrose moves his head. Joey Janela punches the brick wall behind Dean Ambrose and immediately clutches at it, writhing in pain.

Penelope
Oh my god, Joey!

With Penelope yelling for her man in the background, Ambrose sees his opportunity to strike. He immediately brings Janela to the ground with an amateur wrestling takedown. He then mounts Janela and begins to dish out an array of elbows and punches to the downed “Bad Boy of Professional Wrestling.”

[[Dean Ambrose]]
Let’s see how tough you really are!!!

Ambrose slaps himself in the face a few times to hype himself up as he paces back and forth, thinking what to do next.

Joey Janela
Tougher than you… Bitch..

Ambrose’s eyes turn red with rage as he sees Janela smiling and giving him the finger. Dean pins Joey’s hand to the floor, the same hand that Janela just used when he punched the concrete wall. The Lunatic Fringe then stomps on the hand not once, not twice, but three times!! He then walks a few steps away and begins to pace as Penelope screams and checks on Joey.

[[Dean Ambrose]]
You’re lucky that I have to wait until our match starts to end your career. If it were up to me you would already be in an ambulance on your way to the hospital to be told by the doctors that you can never wrestle again. But if I do that to you right here, right now, then I’ll get fired… But inside the ring, once that bell rings.. Then it’s fair game. My job will be safe, and your career will be over… As a matter of fact, why don’t I bring you to the ring now and get this over for you as fast, and painful, as possible…

Dean goes to pick Janela up but “The Bad Boy” is able to use all of his strength to lift his attacker off the ground and drive him straight forward, right through a locker room door opposite Ambrose’s. Both men go crashing through the door and end up lying in a heap on the other side of it, splinters and pieces of wood all around them.

Penelope
Joey!!

Penelope goes to enter the room, but stops in her tracks as she sees... two pink pigtails jumping up and down on the sidelines. Of course, these belong to none other than the resident Juvenile Delinquent, Liv Morgan, which the camera reveals to be true after catching a better angle. In true Jersey fashion, Liv balls up her fist and pumps it into the air as she jumps up and down eagerly, screaming:

FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

Liv is clearly having the time of her life and enjoying the best seat in the house. Her encouragement completely counteracts Penelope's efforts to deescalate this situation before its too late.

Penelope
Can it, My Little Pony!

Morgan's head quickly twitches in the direction of the shouting voice, narrowing her eyes at Penelope in noticeable offense. Liv wastes no time marching over with her hands on her hips until she grabs the mangled frame of the door and swings it shut right in Penelope's face. But due to the gaping hole after both men basically demolished 90% of the door itself, it hardly inhibits anybody's view.

[LIV Morgan]
Sorry, toots! No groupies allowed.

Liv leans forward and sticks her blue raspberry tongue out, blowing it as well as a few spit droplets in Penelope's direction before laughing obnoxiously in her face. Before Penelope can react, both women's attention is turned back to the scene inside of the women's locker room as the Lunatic Fringe and Bad Boy finally begin to show signs of life and stir once again. Dean swings at Joey but “The Bad Boy ducks the punch and strikes back with one of his own that connects with Ambrose’s jaw, knocking him to the ground.

We see Ambrose crawling to a nearby wall, reaching out for it in an attempt to pull himself back to his feet. Ambrose scratches at the poorly painted drywall. Joey laughs..

Joey Janela
You talk a big game, Deano... A real big game... for a man that's lying on the floor!

Ambrose brings himself to a seated position. Joey Janela wastes no time rushing past Liv Morgan, hurrying to the other side of the locker room.

Joey Janela
Out of my way, Morgan!

At the other side of the room, Joey Janela runs full sprint toward Dean Ambrose!

Penelope
Joey NO!!

Joey leaves his feet, front flipping at a now kneeling Ambrose. As he connects with a thudding cannonball, Joey Janela and Dean Ambrose go crashing through the poorly painted drywall and into the next room.

Dust fills the area for a moment. Coughing can be heard from not just two, but three people now. Joey speaks with his face covered in dust from the broken wall.

Joey Janela
You wanna end my career you son of a bitch?! Huh?!

Joey slap a lying Ambrose across the face. Unfortunately for Joey, this slap brings Ambrose back to life as the Lunatic Fringe's eyelids swing open. Still, a third person can still be heard coughing in the room. As Joey begins to look around the dust filled room, he looks up to see a man standing over him. Quickly, Joey wipes the dust away from his face to see one man...

Joey Janela
Holy shit! You're Randy Orton!

Janela proceeds to fanboy out over being face to face with one of his favorite wrestlers of all time. Orton does not look impressed.

Joey Janela
You're The Viper! The Legend Killer! Dude, I loved you in 12 Rounds 2! You're not as good an actor as The Rock, but you're bad ass. Holy shit man, I can't believe I'm...

Randy Orton cuts off The Bad Boy.

Randy Orton
What in the hell do you think you're doing?

Janela has no idea how to react, as Orton grabs Janela by the hair and forces him to look down at the rubble, it takes him a few seconds to see it, a feint blue light coming from a shattered screen.

Joey Janela
Oh man, is that yours? Shit dude, I'm sorry...

This isn't good enough for Orton

Randy Orton
Sorry? You're sorry?! Do you have any idea how much you've just cost me?!

Orton angrily shoves Janela down to the rubble.

Randy Orton
STUPID!

Janela turns around only to be struck square in the jaw by Dean Ambrose who is wielding a trash bin with Randy Orton’s face on it. He throws the trash bin over Janela and shoves him into one of the open lockers. The Lunatic Fringe backs up before charging, striking The Bad Boy with a dropkick, crushing the side of the garbage can as well as part of the locker.

You Indy fuckers never listen..

Ambrose notices The Viper standing over him.

Orton strikes Dean right in the jaw before grabbing him and swinging his legs over a bench, much like The Viper does with the ropes when he is in the ring about to hit his signature rope-hung DDT. He has Ambrose in a headlock, The Lunatic Fringe’s body is limp. Orton stares at Penelope as she checks on Janela before DDTing Ambrose on the locker room floor. He quickly picks Ambrose up and tosses him out of his locker. He pushes Penelope out of the way and quickly disposes of The Bad Boy from his locker room. Penelope and the cameraman quickly follow suit. Ambrose and Janela can be seen lying in a heap on the floor. Orton slams and locks his locker room door as the camera zooms out, showing none other than…

Well look who it is!!

R-Truth is shown smiling over Janela and Ambrose, he reaches for his pocket and pulls out his cell phone.

Truth takes a selfie of him and Janela and Ambrose, who are just now starting to stir.

Truth hands Penelope a pen and paper. Penelope doesn’t seem to know what’s going on, but quickly signs the paper and hands it back to Truth. She then hurries past him and checks on Janela.

[[R-Truth]]
That’s a weird way of spelling Lita.. Oh well!! Thanks guys!! You are the best!! I’m going to use you as my motivation tonight against Aiden Cesaro!!!

Truth walks away as Penelope is helping Janela to his feet. Joey shoves Penelope off of him and grabs Ambrose by the hair, lifting him to his feet. Ambrose quickly strikes with an eye poke, causing Janela to hold his eyes in pain as he frantically tries to make some distance between him and Ambrose while he is able to recover. Janela is able to run down the hallway and turn the corner, so that he is out of Ambrose’s line of sight. “The Bad Boy” opens the first door that he sees and runs inside.

Janela's eyes grow wide as he is face to face with one of his childhood favorites.

Janela looks as if he's just ran into his hero. Janela hops up and down in pure joy despite being in the middle of a fight.

The door slams open, and we see Dean Ambrose sneering at Janela.

Ambrose and Janela exchange elbows, fists, kicks, and whatever other body part they are able to throw at one another as a weapon. They go back and forth as they make their way out of the room, and down the hallway. Ambrose tries to low blow Janela to get the better of him, but it doesn’t seem to affect The Bad Boy. Ambrose kicks Janela in the groin this time, but to the same effect.

What the fuck?

Janela smiles and reaches into his pants. He pulls out a jock protector, like they wear for baseball.

Joey Janela
You see Deano!! That’s the difference between you and I!! I come prepar-

Janela sinks to the floor in pain, as Ambrose just kicked him right in the groin again, which is unprotected now since Janela is holding his jock protector in his hands.

[[Dean Ambrose]]
Idiot..

Ambrose notices that they are near the ring stage entrance.

You ready for our match buddy?

Ambrose is about to pick Joey up and drag him past the curtain, but is distracted by a voice behind him.

Ambrose turns around to see none other than Paige!! She hasn’t been seen in XWL for almost two years!! Behind her are two unknown men, judging by their bodies one can assume that they are wrestlers. The Lunatic Fringe doesn’t seem to care, as he turns back towards Janela.

[[Paige]]
Dean, you mind if I introduce you to my-

[[Dean Ambrose]]
Not interested

Do you know who you’re talking to?

Should we take care of this guy for you Paige?

Ambrose turns back towards the two men and Paige.

[[Dean Ambrose]]
I was in the middle of rearranging Joey’s face.. If you want I can do yours instead..

Paige gets in between the men.

Easy, easy, easy.. I can’t have you two getting injured before your first match.. Lets go.. Was nice seeing you Dean… You too uhh..

Joey Janela
It’s Joey.

Dean turns around only to be struck with an elbow to the bridge of the nose. Paige and the two men she was with turn and leave as Ambrose and Janela exchange blows.

Penelope grab my jock protector!! That thing cost $8.99!!

Ambrose puts Joey in a headlock and drags him past the curtain, and to the ring’s stage.. The cameraman can’t follow Ambrose and Janela to the ring so the screen goes black. The crowd is riled up, you can see Janela is hot on the trail of Ambrose. Ambrose takes a moment to himself and pulls himself off the mat to his knees. Joey is doing his usual taunting, putting both of his arms out cupping his hands feeding off the energy of everyone in the arena, and he perhaps does this for too long.

Ambrose now seizing the opportunity, hits the ground running and starts to spring to the opposite side of the ring and off the ropes takes full speed to where Janela is at who is too concerned with himself right now. Ambrose diving through the second rope putting his body sideways, a literal suicidal type dive and the force causes The Bad Boy to flip over the announcer’s table. Ambrose hits the announcer table too but the front end with his head.

[[Renee Young]]
Dean throwing as much caution to the wind as he possibly can, no brakes required.

Both of them are laid out by now and all you can see is a ruckus crowd, and.. Keith Lee? He’s standing tall with his arms folded, a smirk comes across his face and he’s way up on the bleacher part of the arena. The fans focus in on him and so does the cameras. Ambrose and Janela are getting their wits back, Keith shrugs and it sparks up the crowd even more when he begins to take a walk down to the ringside area and hops the barricade.

Oh my god, he’s coming this way!

Lee looks at both competitors being down and keeps that smirk on his face as he bends down to lift up the apron skirt cover. The gleam in his eyes doesn’t fade, the excitement too. He pulls out what seems to be a TABLE and sets it up immediately!

[[Renee Young]]
This doesn’t look too good..

Janela a mess near Corey and Co, starts to get up all wobbly and hangs onto the barricade, Ambrose trying to grab onto the apron skirt that was twisted up by Keith Lee, they both take notice of him and instead go fight each other wildly. Forearms and Clubs. Clubs and Forearms off each part of one another. Keith sets up the table minding his own business, positioning it to where he wants itThe Lunatic Fringe takes Janela by his golden hair and wraps it around the post all whilst digging his teeth into his forehead ripping into the flesh, Janela squirming and unable to defend himself at this time. Ambrose wipes his chest with Janela’s DNA, not blood and he’s loving it.

Nothing spells disaster like Keith Lee in the distance as Ambrose is fixated on disgusting tactics.

Keith takes four giant steps over to Ambrose and they lock eyes for a brief moment before Ambrose gets mouthy, tries to pick a fight with him, only for Keith to wrap his giant bear paws across his shoulders and toss him into the ring through the ropes with ease. Ambrose tumbling all the way back to his feet, Keith slips right in and Janela too unexpectedly.

Joey and Dean look at each other coming to their senses and start scheming as Lee is standing tall in front of them, they point to each other and then at Lee who can paint the picture of the scenario and tells them to bring it on and so they do. The two of them throw everything they have at Keith, kicking, punching, and exhausting every bit of energy they have left. Joey gets too carried away and tries to lift Keith, Dean follows suit and then the camera zooms in on Keith’s reaction which is “Not going to happen” he promptly picks up both men with one hand each and sends them onto his shoulder.

Keith Lee has a plan of his own, using his freakish strength to make that plan play out effortlessly.

Oh my god, what is he doing with both of them in such a compromising position!?

Keith keeping them in place as they move around rapidly trying to escape, the looks on their faces are pure terror. Lee then sets them on top of one another over his shoulder and then swings them around to the air, pushing them forward extending his arms, a mid air Pounce!

HOLY SH- The static from Corey taking off his headset to audibly say you know what speaks volumes.

Ambrose and Joey are falling right into the direction of the table outside of the ring below, and the sudden impact of their bodies colliding with not only the table but each other has everyone losing their minds. They are completely laid out, the crashing of the table along with themselves.

The referee sees that they are absolutely decimated decides to call for the bell. Throwing the match out completely and Keith sees the carnage he’s caused, the smirk on his face remaining. He raises up his thumb and points to himself, raising his fist like he did in the titantron last week. His theme song plays out the scene along with the commentary over it as the two men are not moving a muscle.

Keith Lee has made this Extreme Rules match an afterthought but what he did is more than that, much more than what words can describe. It was a message, as clear as day. You got in his business, Janela and you brought this out of him Dean, taking both of them out to clear the field and set the stage.

[[Corey Graves]]
That table is only the start for Ambrose as he takes on Keith Lee at Coronation in an Extreme Rules match of their own design. Stay tuned whilst we have doctors check on Dean Ambrose and The Bad Boy, Joey Janela.

Yeah, i’m really feeling for Penelope.. You can only imagine what’s going through her head right now. First seeing Keith slam Joey’s face into a pie and now this?

The silence surrounding that man in the ring as he has a literal pile of broken bodies on the outside is nothing short of astounding.

As both men come down to the ring, Chris Jericho notices a sign in the front row that reads “HBK > Y2J.” Jericho grabs the sign and tears it into shreds. Jericho gets into the ring and the bell rings. As the bell rings, Shawn Michaels theme plays throughout the arena.

Jericho turns his back to Lee as the fan he took the sign jumped the guardrail. The fan takes off his hood to reveal himself as Shawn Michaels. Jericho’s face turns to utter disgust and shock. As he turns around he is met by Lee who throws him up to the air by his trunks instantly and then slamming him down onto his shoulders high.

The referee slaps the mat for the count after a HUGE Spirit Bomb.

As Jericho stands up and argues about the quick count and the fact he didn’t know the match had begun, he turns around and is met by Sweet Chin Music by “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels. Shawn standing over Jericho as Lee has his hand raised by the referee, camera fades to black with these two visuals.

Picking up yet another victory here tonight over R-Truth, Aiden English has his arm raised by the referee, before making his way outside of the ring to grab a microphone from the timekeeper’s area. Quickly making his way back into the ring, Aiden speaks, with a large smile on his face.

Drew McIntyre eyes up BPJ as he sets up for the Claymore kick, kicking the steel chair out of the ring.  BPJ slowly getting up to his feet, but not there yet.

As cameras show a view of the ring and ringside, We see none other than Daniel Bryan hop the barricade and grab the steel chair.

Its Daniel Bryan!  He’s not supposed to be in this matchup.

Ah yes Ranallo, but this is an XTREME RULES MATCH here in the XTREME WRESTLING LEAGUE.

Daniel Bryan goes on the apron, as BPJ finally gets to a full stance, dazed and confused still.  Drew McIntyre charges at a stunned BPJ.

The Champ is going for it!

Daniel Bryan tosses the steel chair directly at the head of Drew McIntyre as the chair hits him during his Claymore Kick attempt causing him to take a bump.

My goodness! This match is extreme never the less.

BPJ slowly makes his way to the apron as he sets up for the Air Pillman Jr Springboard Clothesline.  Daniel Bryan makes his way to the turnbuckle as he sets up for the running knee to Drew.  As Daniel Bryan Charges, BPJ springboards, and Drew is on a knee.  As BPJ soars through the sky, Daniel Bryan avoids it as he stops, but the zooms in where we see only the right side of the ring.  BPJ misses both Daniel Bryan and Drew McIntyre.

Corey Graves
I’m not too sure who Brian Pillman Jr was going for there.  But look is in the ring with them now!

Renee Young
It’s the Swiss Cyborg Cesaro!  He’s Brian Pillman Jr’s opponent at Coronation!

Cesaro and Daniel Bryan eye each other up as Cesaro goes for the Uppercut on Daniel Bryan, but Daniel Bryan quickly avoids the uppercut and slides out of the ring and continues watching at ringside.  Drew McIntyre still at a knee and BPJ also at a knee as the Xtreme Rules Match has taken a lot out of both competitors.  Cesaro walks towards them as both of them barely get up.  Cesaro hits BPJ and Drew with an Uppercut as BPJ’s arm is able to secure a pinfall.

Brian Pillman Jr has done it again here tonight!  Against the man with the gold, Drew McIntyre.

That wasn’t the most skillful of pinfalls.  Cesaro kinda knocked both of them silly and Brian Pillman Jr just happened to fall awkwardly enough to secure a pinfall on the World Heavyweight Champion, Drew McIntyre!

Renee Young
You could say it’s just a fluke.  Or.  Maybe. Just Maybe. We saw some of the killer instinct of Brian Pillman Jr that he WILL need when he goes up against the Swiss Cyborg Cesaro.

Mauro Ranallo
Perhaps Renee.  That was quite the match.  You gotta wonder if this grueling match will effect either of their performances at Coronation.

3]]Cameras still just an aerial view where we see Daniel Bryan heading towards the ramp.  Cesaro in the ring still.  Both BPJ and Drew still gathering consciousness on the lower ropes from that Cesaro uppercut.[/b]
