As the show begins, the lights promptly fade out in the arena to near-perfect darkness while a distortion of music slowly builds over the sound system. Suddenly from the tron, a green cast illuminates the audience as an eerily slow and peaceful shot of the forest is displayed. Then, the serene setting is obstructed by a voice...

???
I never expected to step back into the dark and disruptive world that is XWL,

but SHE had other plans for me.

The video on the tron then begins to change. Plants seem to be growing right before our very eyes as if they have been summoned by a mysterious force. They reach out for the sunlight that isn't there, coiling their vines around the trees while a single word appears in the center of the screen. "POISON."

???
I thought my business here was finished. My mission, failed. But She knew better than me. I should have trusted Her plan all along... Last year I put that plan into motion, and now, I've come back to see it through. I learned to work in the shadows and the darkness that plagued this division. The same darkness that I once sought to erase. I realized that in order to destroy that darkness, I had to do it from the inside. And that's where I found her again.. That's where I found the source of it all, April. The being whose very existence spit in the face of Nature's divine order. Finally, I had gotten to the root of the issue, and it was all going according to plan, just as She said it would.

The previous shot transforms into a closer view at the vines reaching towards a small source of light in the distance. As they get closer, their leaves and petals begin to bloom in anticipation. The next word, "IVY," replaces the former on the screen as the sultry voice of our narrator proceeds with her monologue.

???
But there was one, little, issue... Nikki Cross. You might think you're avenging your sick perversion of love, but it's time that you realize you're involving yourself in a much more dangerous game.. A game that I've become all too familiar with, and one that I'm all too eager to play again. However, not before I finish what She started. This war began long before you came here, but it ends tonight, with the final phase of Her plan.. My trap is set. When the time is right and you're soaking in your own false sense of security, that's when Nature's jaws will snap shut and you too will be mine.

The vines travel across the forest floor until they finally find their light. Their refuge comes in the silhouette of a woman as they spread up her legs and onto her torso, gradually forming a layer over nearly her entire body.

???
You're looking for answers?.. Well, everything will be revealed to you soon.

It will be revealed to ALL of you soon.

E A R L I E R T O D A Y

The words read across the screen to indicate that the interview was hosted earlier in the day, back at the hotel room which one of the World Heavyweight Champions stayed at. Jericho sits in a chair with his back to the window which overlooked the city of Portland, Oregon. His World Heavyweight Champion is sat on the small table to Jericho's left and there was an interviewer who sat beyond the camera's view.

I N T E R V I E W E R
We should probably start with the obvious: what did we witness at Roulette between you and Tommaso?

C H R I S J E R I C H O
I have seen the tweets and I understand why there is a lot of confusion regarding my actions during my match with Tommaso Ciampa. I tossed the match. Yes. I handed Tommaso Ciampa a match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Tommaso Ciampa is going to be stepping into that ring with at Breakthrough with Johnny Gargano and I and he is going to be in for the fight of his life. I had every intention of going out there and defeating whoever the wheel threw in front of me. Cody? I would've beaten him. Kenny Omega? I would've beaten him. Sami Zayn? I would've beaten him as well... but then things changed when I heard that chime of the heart rate monitor and those words scream at me; No One Will Survive. I have become so obsessed with fucking with Johnny Gargano and then the Roulette wheel is so gracious enough to hand me his best friend in a one-on-one match. Beating this man and knowing it'd crush Johnny would've been satisfying but not satisfying enough. I wanted more than the win. I saw a chance to make Johnny Gargano's life even more of a living hell. It came at a cost. It came at the cost of me getting a one-on-one match with Johnny Wrestling. I've wanted that match so bad, I want it so fucking bad, but I did what had to be done... so I punted Tommaso in the balls.

C H R I S J E R I C H O
This is the World Heavyweight Championship we are talking about. This is a championship which not many men get to hold - let alone contend for. I've seen so many men come and go without even getting a chance to hold this championship. Tommaso Ciampa might've been one of those men. He'd come around and then fuck off before we even had the chance to learn about who he is as a person... and that's where I start to become curious. I wonder something. I wonder if Tommaso Ciampa is as good of a friend as Johnny Gargano thinks he is. I mean, as I said, this is the World Heavyweight Championship. This is the most important championship in this business. Friendship gets put to the test when this championship gets involved. I still remembered when Edge threw away his friendship with Ted DiBiase for this championship. He was a savior to the company... but he threw it all away because he wanted this championship. Of course, that didn't last long because I stepped in and I stole the championship from him, but that is beside the point. Your friendship gets put to the test when the World Heavyweight Championship is on the line. We learn who you are as a person when the World Heavyweight Championship is put on the line. I want to know the kind of person Tommaso Ciampa is. I want to know if he's the type to throw away his friendship with Johnny if it means getting his hands on this title.

C H R I S J E R I C H O
I fucked with the career of Johnny Gargano. I fucked with the championship reign of Johnny Gargano. Now, it's time to fuck with the friendship of Johnny Gargano. In the meantime, while their friendship is still intact, I want to do them a favor. I have an invitation to Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa for next week. Hosted by Chris Jericho, the Alpha of Professional Wrestling will be a Festival of Friendship where we shall celebrate the friendship of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. I want to celebrate all that they've done and all that they might do. I want to celebrate themselves as wrestlers and as the future of this company. Bring your friends and bring your family, boys. I We're going to pop some bottles and we're going to be having ourselves a good time. There's no trick up my sleeve. Kevin Owens is gone and Sami Zayn has got his hands full with Pete Dunne. This is between the two of you and myself.

I N T E R V I E W E R
And what about tonight? You are scheduled to face Finn Balor.

C H R I S J E R I C H O
The Alpha was born with him and AJ Styles. The Alpha has only grown stronger since then. I'm going to fuck him up, I'm going to win, and then I'm going to head back to my hotel room and take in this marvelous view. There's not much else to it than that. Finn Balor doesn't deserve my time. I'm not here to put on a five-star match with him that would have Dave Meltzer creaming his pants. I'm here to win championships, something which I have been pretty successful at the last few months, and prove why I'm the Greatest of All-Time. That's it. Interview over.

The Alpha grabs his World Heavyweight Champion, drapes the strap of his shoulder, and stands up from the chair. He doesn't even say another word or looks towards the camera as Jericho steps away from the scene of the interview. All we hear is the faint sound of a luggage bag rolling across the carpet and a door opening. The door is slammed and the interview then cuts off and the screen goes to black.

As a video begins to air, we hear an unfamiliar song begin play.

A man begins to speak over the music.

"They said that I'd never make it..."

"They said that I wasn't good enough..."

Clips from multiple wrestling radio shows and podcasts begin to play over the music. Each clip of the host criticizing the man previously speaking.

"He's what? 5'8? 5'9 if he's wearing shoes? He's too small for XWL. There are guys on that roster that would eat him for breakfast!"

"Sure what he's doing on the indies is creating a lot of buzz, but at the end of the day... he's just another overrated indie darling."

"They said that I was too much of a liability..."

"This guy is going to get himself or someone else killed! This dude's a manic!"

"He's definitely not one to tow the company line. I don't think he'd fit in well in the XWL environment."

"XWL would lose sponsors the second he opens his mouth...the network might even kick them off the air!"

"They said that XWL would never be interested in someone like me..."

"Do you honestly think XWL is going to sign some death match wrestler?"

"It wouldn't make sense for XWL to offer this guy a contract. I mean, look across the globe. There are plenty of more deserving wrestlers."

"'The Bad Boy' or whatever the hell he calls himself will NEVER be in XWL plain and simple."

"They...were FUCKING wrong!"

"My name is Joey Janela..."

"...and I'm a BAD..BAD..BOY!"

After Janela's statement, the music and video come to an abrupt end as a graphic flashes on the screen.

"The Bad Boy"
JOEY JANELA

Mauro Ranallo
WELCOME TO XWL ANARCHY! We have a great show here tonight coming off another thrilling XWL PPV!

Corey Graves
Thrilling is downplaying it Mauro! We have two new Champions! Toni Storm shocked the World by capturing and becoming the first EVER North American Champion and then Matt Sydal proved he was better than two other men to claim the Intercontinental Championship from a bulldozing Eli Drake!

Mauro Ranallo
I'm excited to see whats in store here to-

Corey Graves
WHAT?!

Mauro Ranallo
She's back! Becky Lynch is back in XWL!

The crowd erupts as they hear the theme of the Irish Lass Kicker blare throughout the arena, she may have an on again off again relationship with XWL but the XWL Universe love her none the less, Becky walks out with a smile on her face, not doing her normal entrance everyone has grown to know and Love, instead of wearing her normal trench coat shes dressed in jeans, a leather jacket, and a tank top.

Corey Graves
It's been a little while since Becky has been here in XWL, but it seems the crowd here tonight hasn't forgotten about her yet!

Mauro Ranallo
I'm excited! It's always great to see her perform!

She clutches the mic firmly in her hand and makes her way down the ramp nodding her head to the cheers of the XWL crowd here tonight. She steps through the ropes and takes a second to remember this feeling, a feeling only XWL can give you. Becky stands in the middle of the ring and takes off her jacket as her music cuts out and raises the mic to her mouth.

Becky Lynch
BECKY BALBOA IS BACK BABY!

The crowd erupts in cheers yet again as Becky can't help but to smile wide.

Mauro Ranallo
Listen to this place! It's defining!

Becky Lynch
Yes I'm back and this time I'm stayin'! No mo of comin' in and rasin' hell then packing my bags a few weeks later,  and what a good time to come back! The XWL Women's Division has never been more lively and I felt now was the time to make my return so I could battle with the best of 'em, but don't get it twisted.

Becky's smile goes away as she gets serious for a moment, a sight we're not used to seeing from the Irish Lass Kicker.

Becky Lynch
I'm not here to make any friends and be buddy-buddy with all the Women in the locker room. This time I have a goal, I will work my ass off and climb my way to a Title shot and be a Champion each and every one of you can be proud of! Now I don't care if its the North American Champion or if I have to fight a long time friend in Natalya but this is a promise to each and every one of you, Becky Balboa is here to stay and I'm coming after anyone and everyone to get a Title around my waist!

Corey Graves
This doesn't seem like the Becky we knew before...

Mauro Ranallo
You're right Corey, she seems to have this....Fire in her.

Becky Lynch
Now that's down the line a little bit, tonight I need to focus on Carmella. A woman who is so full of herself that she relies on lies she tells you all instead of focusing on what made her a two time Miss Money in the Bank, she has all the talent in the world but ruins it by taking her cheap and underhanded ways and uses them to win her a match when she probably could'a just done it the fair way and got the same outcome. Who am I to judge though, you see "'Mella" I ain't no Judge and I ain't no Jury, but after I break your arm off tonight I will be your Executioner!

Becky throws down her mic and back up out of the ring, the fans cheer her along as her theme starts playing.

Mauro Ranallo
Big Statement from Becky here tonight! It's good to have her back here in XWL!

Corey Graves
Let's just see if she can back up her words though.

Becky heads into the back as Anarchy goes to commercial.

Mauro Ranallo
Welcome back folks, it’s been one hell of a night already, we’ve just witnessed the return of the one, the only, Becky Lynch!

Corey Graves
And that’s not all Mauro, we also got to be hyped for the debut of the bad boy, Joey Janela is coming to XWL!

Mauro Ranallo
The nights barely even begun and we’re already to a rocket start! Loads more to come, just look at the….

EXCUSE ME!!!

The unmistakable screech echoes through the arena, and everyone just beings to unanimously hope that they’ve just started to hear voices in their heads, that this can’t actually be happening, we can’t actually be hearing her, can we?

I SAID EXCUSE ME!!

That’s it. Once could be written off, but hearing THAT screech twice in less than ten seconds… no one is really sure how to react, and fall into quiet murmurs as Vickie Guerrero walks out onto the stage, microphone in hand.

Vickie Guererro
I have an important announcement, and I demand that you all put down your mobile devices, your signs, and any of those fatty treats you bought on your way in here, and pay attention to me!

The audience just jeers in reaction to Vickie’s ludicrous demands.

Vickie Guererro
Every week you’re told that the XWL women’s division has never been brighter. That with so many talented women on the roster, there are endless possibilities for where the division could be heading. For the first time in XWL history, there are two championships exclusive to women. That’s absolutely ground breaking in this industry!  The roster is bigger than it’s ever been, with a total of almost twenty women competing. We’ve had incredible matches over the past few years, a lot of firsts, and many, many rivalries. There’s been Elimination Chambers and Hell in a Cell matches. It’s hard to argue against it.

Vickie Guererro
But I can assure you, this division isn’t at its brightest. The women on the current roster are talented, I don’t doubt that fact, they’re all incredible performers, but they just don’t have what it takes. What this division is lacking, what this division needs, is a strong, dominating force, one that can take it to the next level, to heights that these women could never dream of reaching.  It doesn’t need a talentless MMA reject. It doesn’t need a little girl playing dress up, and it definitely doesn’t need any ‘Straight fire’.

Vickie Guererro
I know exactly what the womens division needs. It needs a woman capable of anything. It needs a woman who strikes fear into her opponents eyes just with her appearance alone. It needs a dominating force, a woman who can throw anyone on this roster around like a rag doll. It needs a woman who can carry this company on her back while putting the little girls in their place. What this division needs, is a legend, a champion, a gladiator, a glamazon!

Vickie grins and steps aside as a familiar song, one we haven’t heard in a long time in XWL, hits the PA system.

Corey Graves
This is shaping up to be the best night ever!

Mauro Ranello
I have to agree Corey, first Becky, now Beth Phoenix!

Corey Graves
Don’t forget Vickie!

Beth Phoenix walks out onto the stage, and the audience burst into a loud group of cheers for the Glamazon. Most of them don’t agree with her choice of company, but they’re still so happy to see her back in XWL Beth stops at the top of the ramp and strikes the pose she made famous.

Vickie claps and smiles as the Camera focuses is on Beth at the top of the stage, before dying out and cutting to a break.

Following the promotional video package hot off the heels of XWL's special event, Roulette, the tron transitions into the next scheduled segment backstage. Peculiarly, however, the view we are given is of the ceiling while the camera sporadically jerks back and forth as if it were in some kind of tug-o-war. It becomes apparent what is going on as soon as we catch a glimpse of some strands of bubblegum pink hair whipping around on the right side of the camera's frame, accompanied by an unmistakable voice that can only belong to one very special member of the XWL roster...

LIV Morgan
I SAID.. I CAN.. DO MY OWN.. INTERVIEW!.. NOW, GIVE IT!

After a few more twists, tugs, and grunts of frustration, Liv finally manages to yank the camera free of the cameraman's grasp. We are treated to an exquisite look at Liv's chin as she catches her breath and adjusts her hair, perhaps not yet noticing the flashing red light which indicates that the camera is in fact rolling. As the cameraman walks away, we can hear him yell back at the Delinquent: I'm calling security! To which Liv promptly shot back with a hearty:

LIV Morgan
DO IT, BOZO! I DOUBLE-DOG DARE YA.

Morgan keeps her eyes narrowed in the direction that the cameraman ran off to until he was presumably out of sight. Then, with the flick of a wrist, the camera springs up to face-level with a snickering Liv Morgan.

LIV Morgan
ANYway, what's poppin' XWL Universe? It's ya girl, the one and only Liv Morgan. That's right, the Liv Morgan that kicked the "Baddest Woman on the Planet" to the curb at Roulette.. Y'know since my big win last week, a lot of people have been askin' me: "Liv, how does it feel to have beaten Ronda, friggin', Rousey?" and you wanna know what I tell 'em? Do ya? Get this, I tell 'em..:

Liv pauses and stares into the camera with her doll eyes in pure pseudo-seriousness for a second before bursting into hysterical laughter.

LIV Morgan
YOOO, IT WAS SO SICK! Did you see the part where me and Sash threw her off the stage, and then the part where she hit the floor?? INSTANT classic! The only thing that woulda made that moment any better was if we all coulda seen the look on Paul Heyman's OLD face when the ref counted to 3, and "Miss Morgan" broke the myth that his precious UFC outcast has anything to look forward to besides a lot more L's in her future.

LIV Morgan
And that's exactly what's gonna happen to anybody else who thinks they've got what it takes to step to me OR Sasha. Sash and I go together like Wednesdays and pink, like Ren and Stimpy, or like jolly ranchers and pizza.. Point is, there has never been a match more perfectly made in Heaven, and what happens when you mess with the Boss? You get the Delinquent. Ronnie found out the hard way that no matter how strong you are, or how "famous" you are, or even how many arms you might've broken, you're never gonna outplay a girl from Jersey.

LIV Morgan
So I guess now the big question on everyone's minds is: "What's next for Liv Morgan? Who could possibly compete with the girl who quite literally DESTROYED Ronda Rousey live on pay-per-view?" Well for starters, tonight I'm gonna-

There she is!!

Liv is abruptly cut off mid-sentence because of a screeching declaration made by the original cameraman, who is now approaching fast and leading the charge with a cavalry of XWL security guards right behind him.

LIV Morgan
Uh-oh, looks like you guys'll just have to keep watchin' for now.

The Delinquent blows her tongue out at the camera and grins before dropping it onto the ground and holding her hands up innocently as a swarm of security guards arrive on the scene.

LIV Morgan
TAKE IT EASY BRO, I DIDN'T DO NOTHIN', I SWEAR! I FOUND IT LIKE THIS!

Just as soon as the words had left her mouth, Liv turns and sprints off into the opposite direction, resulting in the flurry of security guards chasing after her yelling: Hey! Stop right there! as the tron goes black to segue into the next segment.

XWL returns from commercial to a graveyard. It's dark, a bit foggy, but the most unsettling part is the man sitting in the center of the camera cross legged and eyes closed.

Aleister Black
You all had your fun at Roulette. You spun the wheel and let chance take the reins. However, I don't believe in chance. I don't believe in luck. You see, amongst the darkness is power. You have to be willing to grab it.

As Aleister states this, he makes it to his feet in a single leap, now standing as the camera moves up and against centers the camera on the personification of darkness.

Aleister Black
You see, Mr. Drake. You are a snake. I've seen your actions. I've seen how you conduct yourself. It is very unbecoming. So, Eli, tonight you will begin the process of cleansing. This entire company is in need of cleansing. And I, I for one am the one that can absolve XWL of it's sins.

Aleister once again closes his eyes and as his eyes shut the camera switches from the graveyard to a stunned Corey and Mauro, who are unable to make any sense of what they saw as we are then hurried into a commercial as Anarchy rolls on.

The camera cuts to a dark room with a man sitting in the middle of the room. The man appears to be beaten and broken. Not only physically but emotionally. The man looks up and that man is Finn Balor.

Finn Balor:
Sunday, I journeyed to hell and back. In the appearance of a demon I went to battle with a man who claimed to be The Eater of Worlds. I took that man to hell but only one came back in one piece and that man was Bray Wyatt. As he crawled from the depths I was left there to be tortured for my defeat. A piece of me was torn from me. The voices are quiet. My thoughts of defeat are the only thing that fill my mind and now I am but a man. As a man I crawled alone from the depths and fought another man. A man that bested me in my lowest time. But in my lowest time I have that man everything I had and gave him one hell of a fight. I sit here now as a man. A broken and empty man who looks for vengeance. Bray Wyatt, you have taken something from me but it has not made me weaker. I come out from the depths stronger than ever. I will wreak havoc upon you not as a demon but as a man.. but with vengeance comes redemption. Tonight I have the chance to prove myself against the other half of the World Heavyweight Champion. Chris Jericho. Tonight Chris I will give you every ounce of fight I have left in the broken body that is Finn Balor. I will not quit until a point is proven that I am a future World Champion here in XWL. I will not hold back against you and you will see that I deserve a shot at whoever wins at Breakthrough. I will stand and fight until my last breath because I am the man, Finn Balor.

Finn Balor slowly stands to his feet and walks off camera as XWL cuts to commercial

Anarchy returns from a commercial break with Seth Rollins in the ring, ready and waiting to confront his aggressor from Roulette.

Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins
So, my little open challenge at Roulette didn’t quite go to plan.

Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins
Call me foolish, I probably deserve it, but I kind of expected somebody to come out to the ring and give me the battle that I’m thirsting for, and for the two of us to steal the show at the same time. What I didn’t expect was for some coward to cut the power in the arena, blind me with the lights, and then assault me from behind with a weapon. I’ve gotta be honest, I didn’t see that coming one bit.

Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins
I’ve had my share of sneak attacks, I’ve been the victim a few times, and I’ve actually been the culprit more times than I care to admit, but there’s a few big differences between those attacks and this one. II’ve never attacked someone without a reason, it’s just nonsensical to me. I mean maybe this guy did have a reason, maybe he wasn’t a fan of my T-shirt, or maybe my entrance music was too loud, I don’t know, but I’d like to know, so if he wants to share his reasons behind it, I’m all ears…

Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins
I’ve also never attacked anyone while wearing a mask. To me, it just highlights this as the cowardly assault that it was. Even if you overlook the blackout and the spotlights, the mask alone, hiding his identity, all it does is show the world what a fraud that he is. He didn’t show his face because he knew that if he did, I’d spend every single week hunting his ass down… But unfortunately for him, his plan hasn’t really worked, because I don’t care who the hell is under that mask, I’m still going to kick his ass!

Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins
So, how about  you get your little masked ass out here so I can kick it around this ring for all these people to enjoy?

Corey Graves
I always knew Seth was stupid, but this is a new low even for him. What is he thinking, calling out the guy who attacked him like this?

Mauro Ranallo
He wants his revenge Corey, he wants to teach that coward a lesson.

Seth waits, learning from his mistakes at Roulette, he keeps his microphone in his hand. He stares out to the stage, and just as he starts to give up hope, the lights once again go completely out.

Corey Graves
Well done Seth! Look what stupidity gets you, another blackout, and we all know what comes next.

Mauro Ranallo
Seth’s expecting it this time Corey, he’ll be ready when he switches the lights back…

Bang!

The lights come back on, and Seth is left lying on the ground with the masked man standing tall over him, a chair in his hand.  The masked man shoves his boot in Seth’s face, repeatedly stomping down on his head, causing the stitches on his forehead to open, and blood to seep down the side of his head.

Corey Graves
He deserves everything he gets. Be careful what you wish for in the future Rollins.

Mauro Ranallo
No one deserves this Corey, how can you be so cold? Look at his face

Seth lifts to a knee and tries to fight his attacker off, but the blow from the chair seems to have knocked him for six, he can barely even see where he is as the blood starts to drop down over his eyes. It doesn’t take much for the masked man to knock Seth back down to the ground, and that’s when the gears start moving in his twisted mind. The masked man opens the chair in his hands and places it over the neck and face of Rollins.

Mauro Ranallo
Oh come on! Does he deserve this too Corey? Someone do something!

Corey Graves
Even I know when too far is too far Mauro. This is a mans life, you can’t justify this kind of damage. You’ve made your point masked man, just leave it there and go.

Mauro Ranallo
I don’t think he’s going to listen Corey…

With the last of his energy, Seth tries to free himself from the grasp of the chair, but he just can’t muster the strength. Lying there, practically lifeless with the chair wrapped around his neck, he’s left helpless as the masked man raises his boot… but quickly changes his mind, as his eyesight averts to the corner. You can almost see the sadistic smile come across his face as he walks over to the corner, and climbs up to the top turnbuckle.

Mauro Ranallo
Oh god, no! I can’t watch this!

Corey Graves
I can

The man readies himself to jump, when a member of the crowd leaps up onto the apron and shoves him down to the canvas with a thud.

Corey Graves
What the??? Someone get this man out of here!

Mauro Ranallo
Would you listen to that crowd? They’re cheering for this guy, someone who had the guts to stand up and help Seth.

The whole arena comes alive in a unanimous roar of approval as the masked man can’t believe what’s happened. He staggers back to his feet, and just as he gets back to them, the young man from the crowd leaps over the apron and fires himself at the masked man, knocking him down once more. The masked man knows he’s outnumbered, and quickly retreats, rolling out of the ring and running down the ramp to the backstage.

Corey Graves
This is disgusting! How can we just stand by and watch as a member of the audience assaults someone in the ring like this? Where’s the security?

Mauro Ranallo
Disgusting? This young man is a hero! If it wasn’t for him, Seth could have ended up with a broken neck.

Corey Graves
It wasn’t his place to interfere! He’s nothing but a hooligan, a stupid little boy, and he deserves to be arrested.

The young man turns to Rollins, and helps him to remove the chair from around his neck, before giving him a hand to get back up to his feet.

Mauro Ranallo
How can anybody look at this as a bad thing? This kid just saved one of XWL’s biggest names, and then helped him back to his feet. This could have ended a lot worse for Rollins.

Corey Graves
It’s bad because it’s insane Mauro! People shouldn’t be able to just jump the barricade and attack a wrestler just because they don’t agree with what he’s doing. What kind of precedent doesn’t that set?

Mauro Ranallo
He didn’t put his hands on a wrestler, or on any of our staff or talent, I don’t see what he did wrong here.

Rollins isn’t sure what to think, he’s thankful for the help, but he has no idea who this guy is, or why he jumped the barricade to help him… But he decides to thank him anyway, which cases the young guy to grin, and when Seth raises his arm, he can barely believe where he is, stood in the middle of an XWL ring with one of his lifetime idols, celebrating after saving him. To him, his dreams had come true.

Mauro Ranallo
Look at that picture, just look. This young kid looks ecstatic, it’s like he’s met his role model, not only met him, but saved his life! This’ll be a day he remembers for the rest of his life.

Corey Graves
I’m sure it will Ranallo, the day he got his criminal record. Look, here comes the back up, late as usual.

Drake Maverick rushes down the ramp, followed by a sea of security guards who flood the ring, they apprehend the invading member of the crowd and force him out of the ring, to the boos of the audience. Maverick looks furious as they march the boy past him and to the backstage area.

Mauro Ranallo
This is disgusting!

Corey Graves
It’s Justice.

The cameras cut to black as Seth watches the chaos unveil in front of his eyes.

PostSubject: Re: XWL Anarchy: 12/3/2018 - 12/10/2018   Yesterday at 3:33 pm

With a night full of action set to determine what is next for many Champions in XWL, we see none other than our Women's Champion sitting on top of a crate deep in thought over who might be next to challenge her. She takes great pride in being Champion, in being successful in defending that right thus far, but with the division ever evolving, who knows could step up to the plate this time. As she stres at The Women's Title sitting beside her, suddenly her focus is broken when none other than Dasha Fuentes steps into frame, Natalya of course greeting her with a smile.

[Dasha Fuentes]
Pardon me, Natalya...I was hoping to get a quick word from you?

[Natalya]
Go right ahead, I'm just sitting here patiently waiting for our General Manager to call me into his office to discuss what he has planned for my next title defense. I know Michael Cole said there'd be news regarding that on Anarchy, and well...I don't know about you but I haven't heard anything.

[Dasha Fuentes]
No unfortunately I haven't. But speaking of Championships, I did want to ask you about The Main-Event of Roulette which saw Toni Storm become the first North American Champion. You actually had the privilege of being ringside for this momentous occasion, can you talk to us about that?

While eager to learn who will challenge her next, Natalya momentarily escapes that thought and smiles warmly as she recalls the incredible night in question.

[Natalya]
It was honestly such an honor to be there watching history unfold before my very eyes. You know this year I've been fortunate enough to be apart of historical moments of my own, but when you're in them it's hard to really soak it all in. It was nice to take a step back and be a fan again, to witness Women's Wrestling rise to this new height, to see competition elevated as four upstarts proved they are indeed the future of this division. They had all the pressure in the world on them, they had 10 years of the division set the stage, and they delivered over and over again. I cannot express how proud I am of each Woman, every one of them is a future Champion no doubt.

[Dasha Fuentes]
Toni Storm in her official XWL in-ring debut emerged victorious, as someone that's had similar success in your first month, followed by a dominant run that somehow has now been eclipsed entirely by your current...did you have any advice for her when you embraced? We noticed you whisper into her ear, perhaps some wise words from one Champion to another?

[Natalya]
Not quite, really...what I said is between us, and I don't want to ruin that special moment by putting it out as some "exclusive." It wasn't anything like what you think. As much as you'd think I maybe should offer advice to her, the truth is...we're supposed to make mistakes, to screw up our first chance because that is what shapes us into who we become. Toni could get it right from the jump, but no amount of forewarning or suggestion can really prevent the trials a Champion will face. Everyone handles it differently, I know that sometimes becoming a big deal fairly quick can come with impossible expectations that you feel you have to live up to, a standard you can't maintain...but as we both know...I made a lot of mistakes, and at times I wished I could go back and do it all over...but the truth is look at me now.

[Natalya]
Every obstacle that brought me down, made me into The Champion I have been able to be this year. It has made me "dominant" because what didn't kill me, DID make me stronger. I had to fight, I had to face the facts that I wasn't the best no matter how badly I thought I was. And that realization made me work even harder, and it is why I have been so successful in 2018. You want to prevent someone from walking down the same road you did, to save them the trouble, but Toni Storm has her entire career ahead of her. She's going to fall flat on her face, and she's going to stand tall, she's an incredible athlete that ultimately like all of us, is human. Failure is unavoidable, but it's how you handle that failure that truly defines you. You can't really compare us and say that because I buckled under the pressure all those years ago she's destined to follow in my footsteps. Because every single Woman in this division is different, and they've also had the experience of learning from the mistakes of the past. But the key is not being afraid to make those mistakes, to realizing that sometimes we need to make the wrong choices, because it shows us what choice we REALLY want to make going forward.

[Natalya]
I know she's going to make an amazing Champion, and I have all the confidence in the world that The North American Championship is in very good hands. If she wants advice, if anyone really wants advice, it's just...be you. If you stay true to who you are at your core, then you can never lose the most valuable thing we as competitors have, and that is our identity. You don't want to be a statistic, you want to be a standard, you want to elevate things even higher than they were when you first began. And you do that by just believing that you are enough, and that...that IS enough. I believed that I could be where I am right now, maybe some times were harder than others to cling to that idea...but I knew whether in this reality or some alternate reality...that there was a time where I could prove there's another path to success. That there is no failure you cannot overcome. And look at me now, I've overcome every failure that dragged me down. Ultimately, it's us that decides who we want to be, and from our brief interaction at Roulette...it feels like Toni Storm wants to be a game changer, to carry this new title proudly into the unknown as she and the rest of the division are brought to uncharted territory.

[Natalya]
What Toni did, what Shayna, Kairi, and Ember were all apart of with her...was game changing. Shortly after all of their debuts in XWL, they were THE Main-Event, for a major Championship...and all eyes were glued to them. If someone wasn't a fan before that night, they left with a newfound respect for each of them, and this division because while 2018 has saw my rise to unbelievable heights personally...the division itself has undergone the exact same rise. More Women than ever before, more hunger within each and every last one of them, and true change that forever impacts XWL going forward. A Main-Event at Final Stand? A SECOND title? Being the division with the best rivalry and match of the entire year? It has never been a better time to be a Woman in Wrestling...and I am so happy for Toni Storm and the rest of the division that they get to be apart of the next great era of this division.

[???]
The "next" great era of this division?

A familiar voice is heard off-camera.  It pans right to reveal the new North American Champion Toni Storm approaching the scene.

[Toni Storm]
No Nattie, this IS the great era of this division.  I mean look at us... two champions in the Women's Division?  Who would've thought?  2018 has seen the rise of the Women's Division to heights nobody in their wildest dreams would've ever expected.  And that is the reason why finally after all these years a second title has been added to the Women's Division.  This title...

Storm looks down lovingly at the newly-minted title around her waist.  She takes a deep breath.

[Toni Storm]
At Roulette, history was made as I became the first ever North American Champion in my debut match.  A debut to rival any other and one that will be remembered for generations.  And I will proudly defend my title against all comers and follow in your footsteps at the helm of the division as I too will go on to be a dominant champion.

[Toni Storm]
As much as I've talked a lot about the other women on the roster over the past month or so, I've always had the utmost respect for you Nattie.  Because you set an example to women wrestlers around the world with your heart, your determination and your ability.  You've been the measuring stick for everybody to measure themselves against.  And now you're in the middle of the long and epic title reign you deserve.

[Toni Storm]
Anybody would love to have the career you've had in XWL and I am proud to stand alongside you at the top of the Women's division.  But make no mistake about it, I'm not here to emulate you, I'm here to be better than you.  I'm going to take your example, learn from it and set my own standard for everybody else to follow.  I'm going to follow in your footsteps until I break into a sprint and run right past you.  I'm going to take the bar you've set and raise it even higher.  We're both champions, but in my mind I'm the best.  I've already graduated from being an upstart with potential to being an ultra-talented champion in record time.  Who knows where I'm going to go from here?  But one thing's for certain, right now is well and truly, Toni Time!

Natalya smiles at Toni's confidence, some may find it off-putting like it's adding tension, but Natalya comes from The Hart Family where you are to believe you are second to none. So she loves the fire within her, and you can tell she's got a whole of respect for Toni as she stands here The First North American Champion.

[Natalya]
As every Woman behind me would say, I want you to be better than me. This division has grown so much over 10 years, and where one rises, where one reaches this previously unattainable height, another waits in the not too distant future to rise higher, to REACH even further. April set a standard that I never in my wildest dreams thought I could measure up to. But here I am, 8 months into my reign, and I'm not just living up to that, I'm creating one of my own. And that's the truly incredible thing you'll learn about the division as you yourself grow even more, and yes become even better than you already are. There may be a lot of egos, a lot of differing personalities, but at our core we are strong Women that want to keep The Women's Title, and now The North American title at the forefront of this company.

Natalya looks to The Women's Championship to the side of her, then picks it up and throws it over her shoulder as she beams from ear to ear staring at Toni's title.

[Natalya]
I'm so eager to watch your story unfold, Toni. There have been a lot of Women to arrive on the scene and make waves, but you're surpassing them and I'm really happy for you. I know ultimately we are competitors, and I will work my hardest to keep The Women's Title as the top title in this division...but when any of us succeed, the division itself succeeds. So whether it's you, or me? I'd say the division has another great year ahead of us.

Storm breaks into a smile of her own.

[Toni Storm]
That's something I can agree with.  This year has been the best year the division has had.  Roulette was historic.  It was the greatest moment of my life.  But as every week goes on, I get better.  You get better.  The entire division gets better.

Storm is getting all fired up and excited.

[Toni Storm]
2019 is almost here and you can be sure that it's going to be another year where even more records and broken, landmarks are created and new standards are set. And with the two of us leading the charge into the New Year...

Storm extends her hand, offering a handshake from champion to champion.

[Toni Storm]
The possibilities are endless.

With Zero hesitation, Natalya gleefully shakes Toni's hand, The 2 Champions sharing in a sweet moment of respect.

[Natalya]
I couldn't agree more.

Their hands remain locked together as they each glance back and forth between each other's eyes and their titles. It's a healthy show of competition but it's friendly. Their smiles do not fade, and their eyes do not dull themselves. They are ready to work together along with the rest of the division for 2019 to be even more incredible than 2018 was for The Women. But like any heart warming moment...of course there had to be something to come along and spoil it.

???
What in the hell is this?

The camera turns to show JBL sitting in his doorway, in his wheelchair. He looks agitated towards both Natalya and Toni.

$JBL$
Toni I didn’t give you your shot to become the first ever North American Champion because I saw your friend making qualities. I didn’t do it because you enjoyed “friendly” competition. I did it because you proved, or at least I thought you proved to me that you knew what was best for business. You knew you were the best. You knew that you didn’t need to stoop down and join some kind of love fest with little miss Nattie over there. But from the looks of it, and I do hate to admit this, but maybe I was wrong. Maybe you don’t deserve that championship. Maybe you don’t deserve my gratitude. Hell, maybe you don’t even deserve the XWL contract I gave you.

Never one to stand by as a fellow competitor is talked down to, Natalya turns to JBL unimpressed by his words about Toni Storm.

[Natalya]
With all due respect, sir...you are WAY out of line. Toni proved at Roulette that she not only deserves her spot on this roster, but that she is the perfect person to carry The North American Championship. You have no right to talk to her like that, just because we're competitors doesn't mean we can't share a little respect between us. Furthermore, instead of trying to belittle someone after they just cemented their place in history...thanks to the generous opportunity presented because of you...maybe show her the respect of saying congratulations.

JBL is now taken aback. He can’t believe the snapping back he’s receiving. Natalya turns to Toni who was almost speechless over what JBL said, but also looks appreciative of Natalya standing up for her.

[Natalya]
Personally I think instead of criticizing her, or our meeting for that matter...you should be telling me who is going to be my next cha-

$JBL$
RESPECT!? You want to talk about respect? How about you show me some respect by not interrupting me every opportunity you get. I mean seriously, who do you think you are telling me what my priorities should be? Last I checked, you answer to me...I don't answer to you. You'll find out who is next when I'm good and damn ready to deliver that news. Thanks to your stunt with Kaitlyn I have to be extra careful that you don't go and try to blindside them in the stairwell to avoid defending your title.....AGAIN.

Natalya's jaw flies open as The General Manager, the guy that's supposed to be unbiased and solely do his job, has the absolute nerve to twist what actually happened when Kaitlyn was the one who attacked her, and she defended herself...by actually saying she targeted her? The Women's Champion is now the one that's left speechless as Toni shares the same annoyance Natalya has earlier when JBL spoke ill of her.

[Toni Storm]
Don't listen to him.  Everybody knows what really happened...

$JBL$
Now Natalya, you don't have the best track record with friendships here in this business, a fact I’d like to remind you of Toni. That’s why I’d like to put this new found “bond” to this test. In tonight’s Main Event it will be Women’s Champion Natalya taking on North American Championship Toni Storm, one on one, to declare who is truly the best woman of them all. Good luck ladies.

JBL winks and tips his hat before rolling back into his office, Virgil closing the door behind him leaving Toni Storm and Natalya alone in the hallway. They try to get over that far from great interaction with The General Manager and focus back on each other as both stare at each other's prizes before looking into each other's eyes. For the first time in XWL History we will see The Women's Champion face The North American Champion...and to add even more excitement this will be Toni Storm's official in-ring debut on Anarchy and as if that's not big enough...it's The Main-Event. So while he's not very "empowering" in his message...putting them in that spot is somewhat of a counter to the disrespect he showed them. Either way they're no longer concerned by what they just heard from their boss, instead they're staring down in a friendly exchange as the cameras cut and they prepare tonight to put their respect on full display as they look to leave it all on the line to close out the show.

PostSubject: Re: XWL Anarchy: 12/3/2018 - 12/10/2018   Yesterday at 4:35 pm

*Anarchy returns from a commercial break to the sight of co-World Heavyweight Champion Johnny Gargano in the ring.  It's a strange sight as he appears to be on the set of a talk-show as he's seated alongside an empty seat with what appears to be a screen in the middle with a blanket covering it.  Gargano hasn't been known to run his own talk-show, so there's a murmur of confusion mixed with excitement.  Gargano smirks and raises the mic up to his lips.*

[Johnny Gargano]
Ladies and gentlemen... welcome to the premiere of the greatest talk-show in XWL history.  You've had to suffer through mediocre talk-shows for years... from the Kevin and Sami Show... to the Ambrose Asylum... to Miz TV... to the worst of them all, Chris Jericho's Highlight Reel.  But right now, you're in for a treat.  Because my talk-show isn't going to be mediocre.  Oh no.  It's going to be something special.  It's going to deliver epic interviews.  It's going to bring you so much drama and talking points...  It's going to be the whole shebang!

*Gargano rises to his feet and throws his World title over his shoulder where it now sits comfortably.*

[Johnny Gargano]
So welcome... to the first ever, JOHNNY GARGANO'S HIGHLIGHT REEL!

*Gargano pulls off the blanket, revealing the Jeritron 8000 which is displaying a modified logo.*

*The word "GARGANOTRON X360" has been etched onto the frame of the screen in what appears to be neon red marker.*

[Mauro Ranallo]
I have to admit, I'm excited!

[Corey Graves]
I think I'm going to puke...

*Gargano looks at the screen for a moment before turning to the camera and shrugging in comical fashion.*

[Johnny Gargano]
You know... since Chris and I are sharing everything at the moment I figured I'd give this a try!  It's not like he's done this in a while anyway.  The Jeritron was just gathering dust, begging to be used, so I cleaned it up real nice and gave it an upgrade. And besides, I've always wanted to do this because, I'm a big Conan fan!

*Gargano chuckles to himself, receiving a mixed reaction from the XWL Universe who don't know what to think about this whole situation.  Plus some just hate Conan.  Has Gargano lost his mind here or is all of this just plain genius?*

[Johnny Gargano]
But unlike Chris, I'm not going to go on and on and drag this intro out for too long. So let's get right down to it!  Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the first ever guest on Johnny Gargano's Highlight Reel... he is the new number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship... and my best friend... TOMMASO CIAMPA!

NO ONE WILL SURVIVE! Right on cue, the theme of The Psycho Killer, Johnny Gargano's best friend and now Number One Contender Tommaso Ciampa blasts across the arena, to a huge reaction from the XWL Universe. Ciampa strolls out from behind the curtain. And down the ramp towards the ring. Ciampa enters the ring, and embraces his best friend with a hug. Ciampa picks up the microphone, and signals for his best friend to talk.

[Johnny Gargano]
Tommaso!  Welcome.  Take a seat, stand there.  Whatever you want to do.  Hang your jacket up over there if you want to.  Welcome!  Now, let me jump right in the deep end with a question... How does it feel to be #1 Contender For The World Heavyweight Championship?

*Ciampa raises his mic up but Gargano cuts him off.*

[Johnny Gargano]
Actually, no, let me rephrase.  Sorry, I'm new at this.

*Gargano clears his throat.*

[Johnny Gargano]
Tommaso... how does it feel...

[Johnny Gargano]
...to stick your nose into my title reign where it doesn't belong?

*You can tell that Ciampa is completely taken aback by this.  Several in the crowd boo as Gargano launches a verbal onslaught.*

[Johnny Gargano]
You know first-hand how hard I have worked... how much I have sacrificed and suffered... to win this title!

*Gargano looks at his title then again upward, his eyes have a look as though he was possessed.*

[Johnny Gargano]
But you just waltz right in here to XWL and you get yourself a title shot without barely doing anything!  How does it feel Tommaso huh?  How does it feel to be handed a title shot gift-wrapped on a silver platter?

*Gargano steps towards Ciampa and gets right in his face.  His tone of voice is as aggressive as it's ever been.*

[Johnny Gargano]
You know how long it took for me to make an impact... to earn my chance?  That's what we do.  DIY, remember?  Do it yourself.  We scratch and we claw like nobody else.  You have all the time in the world.  I had no doubt in my mind that sooner rather than later, that The Psycho Killer will be in the main events where he belongs.  But you just couldn't wait your turn could you?  You had to accept the opportunity to be become #1 contender at Roulette and make it all about you!  You're supposed to be my friend.  My best friend!  But you're here right now as a threat to everything I've ever worked for... my life's work.  What kind of friend are you Tommaso?  Because from where I'm standing... you're no friend of mine!

[Tommaso Ciampa]
Johnny, Look what that championship is doing to you. I went to that ring at Roulette, and Chris Jericho did what he did. Chris Jericho put me in this situation...for this reason. If the positions were reversed, You wouldn't turn down this opportunity. That championship, has turned you into something you aren't. It's made you become obsessed, it's made you become everything you once hated.  You're right, I might have been handed this. I may have had luck on my side with the spin of the wheel, but Johnny....You didn't even win to become the "champion".

*The crowd let out gasps as Ciampa fires back at his best friend.*

[Tommaso Ciampa]
Maybe you should see how this works for you, Johnny. Maybe you should realise that with me in that match, it increases your chances. It puts you in a better position to finally actually beat Chris Jericho. Trust me, I don't want Chris Jericho as World Champion just as much as you don't. But if you think, I'd turn down this chance just because of you? Then you're becoming more and more deluded. Becoming World Champion is something we both have dreamed of, It's something we spoke about travelling across the country together...at Breakthrough we both enter this ring for that World Heavyweight Championship. We've done many battles before...but never for a prize like that. It's something we both have always wanted, It's something you...almost have.  I'm not here to crush your dreams, Johnny. But if you want to stab me in the back....You know exactly what I'm capable of.

*Gargano has backed up a little and is pacing like a madman.  He smirks as he raises his mic once again.*

[Johnny Gargano]
Funny Tommaso.  Real funny.  It just goes to show that you haven't been following my career. Some friend you're turning out to be.  It's nice to finally see your true colours.  For your information, I've defeated Chris Jericho this year.  At Warzone I beat him to earn my opportunity at the title... but you don't know anything about earning your way to opportunities, do you?

*Gargano again steps towards his seated frenemy.*

[Johnny Gargano]
And I will beat Chris again, it's only a matter of time before I get my hands on him.  If it's at Breakthrough, that's fine, I can wait until then.  If it's sooner, it's a bonus.  I just know he's too busy hiding out in fancy hotels right now because he knows that he's awaken something in me that he's afraid of.  And you should be afraid too Tommaso.  Because you think that you know me better than anybody, but you're dead wrong.  At Breakthrough, if you stand in my way and try to take my life's work away from me... I'll show you, exactly what I am capable of.  There won't be any stabbing you in the back my friend, because I will look you right in the eyes as I deliver the killing blow to your hopes and your dreams.

*Gargano has a cold, icy stare as he locks eyes with Ciampa.  Every word he says has no emotion.*

[Johnny Gargano]
But I'm going to give you an opportunity right now.  Another you don't need to earn.  Because I'm a good guy, I'm going to give you one final chance to back out of the match at Breakthrough.  Just leave this ring right now, go to the back and give up your title shot.  Do the right thing Tommaso, and I'll forget this ever happened.  We can go back to being best friends and all will be forgiven.  What do you say?

*Ciampa looks away towards the ramp, rubbing his hand over his head clearly deep in thought*

[Tommaso Ciampa]
I get it...I see what this is. I can see that you're jealous. You spent many months travelling back and forth, busting your ass for that title, and I turn up here and achieve everything you worked for within a fraction of the time. I know it hurts Johnny, Everything you went through for that Championship just to have your best friend walk in and take it away. But this isn't personal, Johnny. You're making this personal. I came to this company with the goal of becoming World Heavyweight Champion, and I'm not going to walk away from that because you can't handle it. This could've been everything you needed Johnny, We could've worked together to take out Chris Jericho then battled it out to see who is the better man. But from what you've become...it's clear we don't need to do that. You're showing to me and the entire world you aren't the man you claim to be. We've travelled the world, I was a groomsman at your wedding....and it took me until now to realise that your wife...has bigger balls than you've ever had.

*A loud "ohhhh!" is heard from the fans as Gargano breaks into a smirk once again.  He taps his microphone a few times before raising it.*

[Johnny Gargano]
...you did this to yourself.

*SUPERKICK!  Gargano nails Ciampa right between the eyes with a superkick, sending him flying backwards off the chair.  The crowd are stunned by this and don't react for several moments.  When they snap out of it however, there is a huge roar of disapproval.*

[Mauro Ranallo]
What the hell?!

*Gargano has this evil look on his face which is difficult to describe, he steps towards his downed pal and screams at him "You did this!" before mounting him and landing big left hands over and over again on the defenseless Ciampa.*

[Mauro Ranallo]
Something has snapped in the mind of Johnny Gargano!

[Corey Graves]
We've seen glimpses of the darkness inside of Johnny Wrestling for months but it looks like it's completely taken over him right now.  DIY has imploded before our very eyes.  Their friendship won't survive this.

*After what seems like an eternity, Gargano ceases his attack.  He rises to his feet and looks down at his now bloodied hands.  He stares at them for a minute or so before turning back to Ciampa who now wears a crimson mask.  He isn't done as he brings the dead weight of Ciampa to his feet and holds him there.*

[Johnny Gargano]
You did this!  All you had to do was stay out of it!

*Gargano then swiftly charges Ciampa face first into the Garganotron X360, shattering the screen into a million pieces.  Ciampa falls to the ground in a heap, completely out of it and no doubt needing medical attention as the blood continues to pour out of him.*

[Johnny Gargano]
You did this!  You did this to yourself!

*Gargano continues to scream the same words over and over again, either to deliver a message to Ciampa or to convince himself of his own deluded views.  He stands over his former best friend and raises the championship upwards as the crowd lets their feelings known.*

[Corey Graves]
This was hard to watch.  You just know that in this business, whenever there's some kind of screen involved that someone is going to go through it.  Chris Jericho must be rubbing his hands and loving what we just saw.

[Mauro Ranallo]
What has happened to Johnny Gargano?  What has happened to Johnny Wrestling?  Is there any trace left of the man we all once knew and loved?

[Corey Graves]
You look at his face right now Mauro and I see a different Johnny Gargano.  One that has no limits.  Friend or foe, if you stand in his way of keeping the World Heavyweight Championship - his life's work as he calls it - he will take you out without a second thought.

*Anarchy fades to a commercial break following this shocking development...*

Mauro Ranello
What an absolutely incredible match that was. Boy am I glad we actually got to see it.

Corey Graves
I can't pretend I'm not disappointed, but congratulations to Becky, she's got this new attitude and it shows in her performance.

Becky walks over to the corner and pulls herself up to the second turnbuckle, she soaks up the love and appreciation the audience are showing her.

???
Congratulations Rebecca!

The mood in the entire arena turns as the familiar voice of Vickie Guerrero is heard. Becky drops down from the turnbuckle and turns to face the stage, where Vickie Guerrero is stood, microphone in hand.

Vickie Guerrero
No, I mean it, congratulations! It's not every day you defeat Mrs. Money in the Bank, and you did it less than an hour after returning, I applaud you. But listen Rebecca, I'm not just out here to congratulate you, I actually want to give you bit of advice.

Becky leans against the ropes.

Vickie Guerrero
Now I know that you're excited and you're happy that you came out victorious tonight, and so you should be. But there's one thing that you shouldn't forget...

Becky Lynch is suddenly taken out from behind with an arm to the back of her head as Beth Phoenix charges toward her.

Vickie Guerrero
Your place!

Vickie cackles as Beth Phoenix drags Becky back to her feet by her arms, locking her own through them, and hoisting her into the air. Beth holds her for a few seconds, leaving her hanging there, looking straight out to the stage at Vickie Guerrero, who's still stood on the stage laughing hysterically.

Without warning, Beth brings Becky down to the canvas hard, face first. Lynch is left lying in the ring as Beth stands over her, her foot placed over Becky's chest before the show cuts to a commercial break.

Corey Graves
HERE HE IS! Sami Zayn the man who put on one hell of a fight against Pete Dunne last night at Roulette in a Steel Cage match! The fact he's still standing is incredible!

Sami skips out to a chorus of boos without a care in the world.

Mauro Ranallo
You know I caught up with Sami earlier today, he's convinced Pete Dunne rigged the wheel somehow with the help of The Undisputed Era.

Corey Graves
I don't doubt it Mauro! Pete Dunne is a SNAKE that has to cheat to win!

Sami climbs up the steps and into the ring to await his opponent tonight

ARE YOU READY TO FACE THE FACTS!

CURT HAWKINS ONCE WENT TO MARS. THAT'S WHY THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF LIFE.

CURT HAWKINS MAKES ONIONS CRY.

CURT HAWKINS TELLS SIMON WHAT TO DO.

The man of the hour, the man that everyone had paid to see would slowly walk out onto the main stage as he looks down into the ring as he would smirk - slowly he raises that cane upwards and points it right at the man he had set his sights on.

"Sami Zayn - do you want to know something - I have been looking forward to this match since it was announced. You see every since my massive win only a few weeks ago I have been looking for my next challenge - or should I say victim and you Sami Zayn are that person I have been looking for. Now don’t get it mixed up, I respect you, I am not running you into the ground, think better of me Sami Zayn. I have seen all you have done here, I have seen the men you have defeated and how far you have come here, you got skill, but come on Sami Zayn - do those guys you beat really measure up to me - CURT HAWKINS? The answer to that is NO! Sami Zayn, you don’t have a chance against me because I’m just plain better! I’m not just better because when we stand side by side - people know who I am and when they look at you - they get confused. I’m not just better because I’ve been working my ass off for thirteen years to get to this point. It’s because I am the BEST and that’s a fact that everyone on XWL is going to realise when I step into that ring with you, Sami Zayn.”

Strong words from Curt Hawkins as he would spin the cane in his hand as he slowly walks down to the ring, staring down at Sami Zayn who was waiting for him. He did not seem scared nor worried, the facts had spoken and it was clear to one and all that Sami Zayn was not in the same league as Curt Hawkins.

“Now, Sami Zayn, I don’t want you to take this personally because I take no pleasure in making someone like you suffer in that ring but you’re the man that’s in my way of reaching that next level and that next level is winning that XWL Championship, a championship that’s been the launch pad of a number of careers in XWL and I promise you that when this is all said and done. You won’t be on next week's show. You won’t be wrestling. You won’t even be spoken about, because tonight Sami Zayn, it is the start and end of you.” Now I know there is a FACT going around Sami Zayn - that these people see you as the better wrestler, that they think you can defeat me with ease, that’s why it’s going to be all the more SWEETER when I knock you out in the middle of the ring, stunning all of the people in that arena into silence and I’ll get the one, two, three. When that bell rings after the three count is made, everyone in XWL will understand one thing -- YOU ARE ALL LIVING IN THE ERA OF FACTS - AND THE FACTS ARE CLEAR - SAMI ZAYN WILL LOSE TONIGHT!”

He reached the bottom of the ramp, his cane was set down as he would move as he rolls into the ring as he would ready himself for the fight to come as Sami now looks visably upset at Curt Hawkins words.

Announcer
HERES YOUR WINNER, SAM-

Sami Zayn yanks the mic out of the announcer's hand and shoos him off. Sami raises the mic high in the air before slowly bringing to his mouth.

Sami Zayn

Ladies and Gentlemen, it's now time for you to SHUT THE HELL UP BECAUSE I AM TALKING!

The crowd didn't like that one bit as they let Sami hear it

Sami Zayn

YOU WANNA TALK ABOUT FACTS?! The fact is I'm better than EACH and EVERY Superstar in that locker room! I'm better than this imbecile in the ring and I'm DAMN SURE better than Pete Dunne! Next week I'm gonna prove it as our gracious GM has given me the opportunity to face you Pete, one on one. So no tricks this time, I'm mentally prepared for this match, unlike our Steel Cage matchup where you CHEATED to win. No, this time it's just you and I and just so we're sure JBL has told me that if ANY of your Undisputed morons get involved they're FIRED! See you next week, Pete.

Sami tosses the mic down and struts up the ramp, snickering on his way

PostSubject: Re: XWL Anarchy: 12/3/2018 - 12/10/2018   Yesterday at 8:32 pm

As Anarchy returns from its commercial break, we head ringside where the camera has an overview shot of the entire area from the stage to the audience and the ring itself. Anticipation is in the air as we wonder what great thing might be up next...but our patience isn't tested for long because we figure out what...or we should say...who...is next within the next instant when all the lights in the building suddenly shut off, from the ring banner to the titantron, even the advertiser's digital banner at the very top of the building shuts off. And cheers ramp up, knowing this can only signal the arrival one ONE man, a man that officially made his return to being himself when he captured The Intercontinental Championship at Roulette.

[Mauro Ranallo]
You ready, Corey?

[Corey Graves]
Ugh, is it really that time? Can I excuse myself and get a drink my throat is starting to get dry and I'm sure this is going to take a minute, or ten...

[Mauro Ranallo]
No Corey, you won't want to miss it...neither will all of you at home because as promised...tonight is THE RETURN OF THE GOLDEN ONE HIMSELF, THE NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION MATT SYDAL!

[Corey Graves]
Like, congratulations are in order for his impressive victory, that Fatal Four Way has been receiving rave reviews, it's already nominated for Match Of The Year at the next Slammy Awards as is Matt Sydal for Superstar Of The Year because of that performance...but, like...can we not do this? Can he just be normal and come out here and celebrate without all the bells and whistles?

[Mauro Ranallo]
The Golden One has become a huge part of Matt, the fans love it, and it allows him to truly shine as brightly as he always believed he could when he first started in this business.

Suddenly a gold spotlight casts down on the stage, where on an of course golden pedestal is The Intercontinental Championship proudly on display. The camera pans in closer to show the extra detail of Matt Sydal's name now being engraved on the name plate, before suddenly the spotlight disappears and we return to darkness.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Matt of course defeating Eli to win that title when it came down to them in The Elimination Match.

[Corey Graves]
Not only that as much as I don't like this entrance stuff you cannot deny his ability or worth as Champion. He faced Eli in a non-title match the week before Roulette on the last episode of Anarchy and defeated him there too. A very strong start to Matt's reign that leaves little question to any "luck" that may have played a factor because you may get lucky once, but after the second time that's just talent.

The arena erupts in loud cheers as Matt Sydal's always infectious tune sounds throughout the building, and the titantron begins to light up with gold graphics that read "The Golden One" at the very top, and along the sides is little golden confetti falling in the shape of tickets. It doesn't take long for the floor lighting to soon follow there after where golden tight confetti on the digital screen have accumulated enough to cover it, it's quite an interesting sight to see one LED board connect to the one at the floor to create the visual of actual falling golden tickets without the actual use of it. Fans still remain into it as they look to the top of the stage awaiting The New Champion's arrival.

[Mauro Ranallo]
You never truly know what you'll see during Matt Sydal's entrance.

[Corey Graves]
Are they...am I seeing this correctly? Are the "piles" of tickets forming in The Undisputed Era's logo?

Right as Corey points it out, we see it ourselves, Matt's nod to his fellow brothers and the group he's apart of may not have included the classic "SHOCK THE SYSTEM" voice over, but in full view on the stage floor is exactly as Corey said...a pile of golden tickets that have digitally been designed to form The Undisputed Era's logo. And of course as all the golden lighting is on full display, the gold pedestal remains where we first saw it, right in the center where The Intercontinental Championship is sat atop of it. Soon amidst all the gold graphics, something begins to appear...as if lifted up from under the stage, a silhouette of a Man rises up to the stage, sporting as expected gold tights, and even gold kickpads. There's no fancy ticket cape or crown on his head though, he's kept it simple, at least in his terms with an Undisputed Era t-shirt and some sort of gold gauntlets on his wrists. He steps forward into the frame and it's as we already knew it would be, it's Matt Sydal! He stands behind the podium with his title on it, then the gold spotlight extends outward as his arms lift up with his classic smirk expression.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Matt Sydal back in gold, I must say he certainly looks more like himself now.

[Corey Graves]
I'm just glad there's not some sort of throne carrying him down the ramp, or some ridiculous cape that spans the entire length of the ramp...and if I never see that golden ticket crown again I will be the happiest man on Earth.

Matt's hands lower from the sky, and to his Intercontinental Championship as he picks it up and throws it over his shoulder with a gleam in his eyes. "IT JUST FEELS RIGHT!" Matt exclaims as he starts to descend down the ramp with a confident strut.

[JoJo]
Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome THE NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION...HE IS THE GOLDEN ONE HIMSELF...MATT SYDAL!!

He stops halfway down the ramp as JoJo's announcement echos and his hand comes up to his ear as if those words were music to his ears. Once it's fully sunk in he suddenly makes a full sprint down the rest of the ramp, and slides into the ring effortlessly before thrusting his title into the air under the gold spotlight shining down on him.

[Mauro Ranallo]
See that wasn't so bad.

[Corey Graves]
That's how he gets you, remember how this all started before? It wasn't THAT long at first...but it felt like he added 5 minutes to it every single time...

[Mauro Ranallo]
Now you're just being over dramatic.

The ovation finally simmers down as The NEW Intercontinental Champion basks under his golden spotlight, and admires his beloved prize over his shoulder. Being able to be himself again, to shine brighter than any other Superstar is his purpose, it's why he fought for a year to regain who he was after it was unceremoniously ripped away from him. He nearly gave up, he almost admitted defeat, but he has never done that in his entire career, and he wasn't about to start now. His 2018 may have began with him walking out of XWL...no longer proud of the man staring back at him in the mirror...but it's going to end with him as Champion and you can tell the feeling that's overcome him is truly magical. He twirls a customized mic around in his free hand, a black base wrapped around the microphone, but unlike XWL's personal mics the logo is missing and is instead replaced by Matt's logo from a year ago, a golden ticket.

[Matt Sydal]
There are no words, no words that adequately describe my journey to this moment right here, right now. I have shined brightly, and I have become dulled. You don't know who you are, until you lose yourself, and every waking moment of your so called "life" is spent clinging to the past, wishing with everything in the fiber of your being that you could just go back to the moment where it all changed, where your light dimmed, and your future unlike ever before...became bleak.

The newly re-lit Golden One shares a reflection into what it was like when he was forced to join The Cabinet and infamously walked out, presumably to never return again.

[Matt Sydal]
I stand here tonight, admitting that I never expected to stand in this ring, as any sort of Champion ever again. I thought I was too far gone, too damaged to get back on the horse and ride it like nobody else can. To step in this ring and be the best, because after this last year...for the first time in my entire career, I no longer believed I was. How can the "best" be reduced to someone's servant? How can the "best" spend his days playing errand boy? How can the "BEST" compete in this ring, defeat a former World Heavyweight Champion, and after the dust has settled, he can't even be granted one moment of excitement without an outside voice entering the fray to ask him not about his victory, but about the success of someone else...the someone that was responsible for his downfall to begin with! The "BEST" does not fall under any of those banners, he is a banner of his own, he is THE BEST for a reason...because he is second, to NONE!

He continues to candidly address his 2018, how it began so terribly, and seemingly was doomed to never take off into anything reminiscent of what he was used to.

[Matt Sydal]
I owe Roulette to my brothers in The Undisputed Era, because without them...I would have stayed at home, sitting out the remainder of my contract, dreaming of the days where I wasn't such a worthless being...where I had MEANING. They gave me the support I needed to fight the seemingly unwinnable situation I had found myself, and together...with their help, with their allegiance to one notion that we all shared...we didn't just win, we conquered. We refused to let this era pass us by because it was OUR era! But despite my bravado, I knew something was missing from this wonderfully constructed picture. I was back, I was with a group that truly understand me, that truly understand each other and what we want in this business. But, I was a mere shell of who I was a year prior. I needed to regain that fire within me, to stoke those flames and bring....HIM...back.

His eyes look down at his golden tights, gear he hasn't worn anything like since losing "himself."

[Matt Sydal]
See this right here, all of this? It's merely cosmetic. I wear this to further establish reality, but without that reality...it's just a bunch of gold slapped on everything, no meaning behind it. I've said this before and I will say it now, I am not "The Golden One" because of how I dress, because of my entrance, or any elaborate thing that I do. I am The Golden One because I define what it means to be not a Champion...but to have the HEART of a one. You can win, you can defend, you can carry a title with you along your journey, but it means nothing if the person carrying it has little meaning themselves.

Matt pauses, taking another gander at The Intercontinental Championship on his shoulder.

[Matt Sydal]
My existence is not merely to win title after title, it is to forge something from each reign I am fortunate enough to attain. Too many Superstars boast about being Champion, but ultimately...they're interchangeable, they do it for the accolades...they do it to pretend that it makes them the "best." They have little care for the title, they look at it cosmetically...oh look at the gold around my waist, not what the gold around my waist stands for. See, I needed to become Champion again not to parade around head to toe in gold...but to unlock that part of myself again that is capable of being more...of being a man worthy of making whatever Championship he has in his possession the most prestigious prize in this business. See, there's an inner strength that separates true Champions, from CHALLENGERS. You can carry a title all day, even put your name on it, maybe go one step further and manifest a title in your image...but all of that? That's just for show.

The passion in each word that comes from him is on full display, you see how much it means to him to stand here tonight, and how proud he is.

[Matt Sydal]
What you do in this ring, what I did against Eli Drake The Anarchy before Roulette? What I did against Eli Drake when it came down to us at Roulette? Is paramount, it exemplifies what it means to be Champion, to face the best, and emerge the one true best. The fact that I did it back to back, leaves no question that not only am I honored to stand here as Intercontinental Champion...but I am deserving of that right. Roulette was the world coming back into perfect alignment as The Golden One, made his return to XWL one year after fate dealt me a bad hand...and I have waited far too long to shine my light over this company again, to show Superstars what a REAL Champion is. All the respect to Eli Drake on what he accomplished during his reign, he was a very good Champion, but I have only ever stood for GREATNESS...and no matter how "Elite" you are, The Elite isn't on the level of The Best Gold Damn Superstar to set foot in THIS ring!

Matt pridefully raises The Intercontinental Championship into the air as the fans cheer, and his mic remains raised.

[Matt Sydal]
Now speaking of Eli, as any former Champion he is owed a rematch, and like any true Champion I welcome him to exercise that right and bring one hell of a fight my wa-

The crowd erupts into boos as JBL rolls out onto the stage. Matt Sydal turns, not in shock as he was somewhat expecting this, however he isn’t happy at all to see his General Manager.

$JBL$
Oh boohoo. What a surprise that Matty boy would come out here the night after winning the coveted Intercontinental Championship and begin to throw himself a pity party. Crying for the one hundredth time about how he was “forced” into being MY servant. About how you were “forced” to be MY errand boy. About how I gave you no other choice than to shut your mouth and do my bidding. And while I must admit, watching you decay from the confident, conceited, and arrogant weasel you were Into the self loathing, broken down shell of the man you once were was quite amusing. But hear this you son of a bitch, I never forced you to do a god damn thing. You had a choice. You had a choice to decline my help at Roulette to take on the Bullet Club, which since I have become General Manager has been disbanded, you welcome.

The crowd cheers and boos. Many of them happy Bullet Club is gone, however it also had many fans.

$JBL$
But no, you welcomed my help. You then had another choice. Join my Cabinet of leave XWL. A simple as a choice can be. Laid out upon the table for you to decide your own fate. But you couldn’t make it simple. You had to continue to fight back against me the entire way. So I continue to make your life a living hell. But then, you make a choice I didn’t give you. A choice I didn’t expect. You, the “perfect” Golden Boy, went back on his word. You signed the contract binding you to the Cabinet, but instead of staying. Instead of keeping your word. Instead of falling in line and suffering the consequences of your own actions, you tuck your tail between your legs and you walk out. You walk out on me. You walk out on the Cabinet. And you walk out on each and every one of these people that you call your “fans”. You then make the choice to return with your new found job squad and challenge me. And finally you chose to put me in this wheelchair ultimately making me General Manager.

deafening cheers begin to flood the arena. Matt Sydal laughs, happy with the outcome of his previous situation. JBL however does not seem amused.

$JBL$
Your career, your life is full of choices. I did not, no. I COULD not take away your ability to choose. You have free will. From the very beginning at Roulette a year ago, you had choices. You chose to stay. You chose to follow orders. You chose to do as I command. You chose to go back on your word. You chose to return and you chose me to replace Layla. But sure, like many of your fellow roster members, blame me for all your failures. Blame me for your mistakes. For your dark times. Blame John Bradshaw Layfield for everything wrong that has ever happened to you in you miserable life. I am now the easy target, because of you I’m am confined to this wheelchair. I am paralyzed from the waist down. Something you can and seem to be very proud of.

JBL looks down to his legs, thinking back to the fearful night when he lost the function of the lower half of his body.

$JBL$
You see Matty boy, you were so worried about your name being tarnished. Worried that you were no longer “the golden ticket”. You wanted to rove something not only to yourself but everyone in that locker room. And you truly proved something at Final Stand. You proved it to me, the locker room, and all these people. You proved your a ruthless, heartless, injury causing monster. You were so worried that you were no longer the “best” that you’d do anything to return to the way it used to be. But you see Matty boy, everything is not always as it seems, and seeing as to how these people are now too afraid to tell you how they actually feel, I suppose I have no choice. The truth is Matt, You’ve NEVER been the best. You NEVER will be the best. To be the best it takes great strength of the body and mind. It takes a leader. It takes someone who knows right from wrong. And you have absolutely none of these qualities.

JBL is now getting heated. He takes his hat off, pulling his hair back into place, and calms himself down before putting his hat back upon his head.

$JBL$
Now with all that being said, I would like to thank you. Thank you for removing that championship from around the waist of that pest Eli Drake. He was NOT a great champion. In actuality he should have never been allowed the opportunity o gain the Intercontinental Championship. He brought nothing but shame to everything it stands for, aswell as the greatest International Champion there is, was, or ever will be. John Bradshaw Layfield. But don’t get it twisted. As I thank you i must also ask you, how do you have the audacity to call the former champion out and tell him you welcome him to challenge you. You don’t run Anarchy. You don’t book. How do you know I didn’t have different plans for him? How do you know I didn’t have him fired? You are an arrogant bastard Matt Sydal, And with that attitude and mouth of yours, I guarantee you will get yourself into trouble around here. You may not have noticed it much yet, but with that gold around your waist you’ll learn soon enough. You better fall in line son, there’s a new sheriff in town.

Matt rolls his eyes, he's been dealing with JBL in some sort of capacity for a year, and at this point it's like he's a golden version of The Undertaker due to how often The General Manager causes Matt to do so.

[Matt Sydal]
Actually, "Boss" this is the exact opposite of a pity party, not that I expect you to know the difference between between the two because every day you roll through those halls is one giant pity party. Oh woe is me, I pushed a man too far, and now I'm a walking...sorry I mean ROLLING example to everyone in all of XWL, why you do not mess with Matt Sydal's career. Why you do NOT get on the bad side of The Undisputed Era. See, you cry and blame me for something that you brought on yourself. And the only reason you're General Manager is because Vince McMahon is no longer the grape fruit carrying "macho" man he used to be...he's just a senile old little bitch that isn't even man enough to stand up for his company when someone like YOU tries to bend it over backwards.

JBL did NOT like his tone or a single word he spoke, but the audience? They LOVED every single word, and they express so with loud cheers that causes Matt to momentarily pause to perhaps show JBL that he's not alone in his thoughts, and perhaps Vince if he's watching what the world thinks of him now.

[Matt Sydal]
I don't fall in line, I don't cower to any man, especially not one that can't even stand up and look me in my eyes when he's talking to me. You wanna be a victim and cry about your inability to walk, I'm afraid you'll receive no sympathy from me, or ANY of these people. You're a bastard, you're the scum of the scum of The Earth...and I'm not going to tow the company line and show you any respect because when have you ever shown me ANY? You didn't give me this opportunity, you tried to abuse your power, to screw over the last Champion, and fate decided to throw it right back at you by putting the guys you hated more than Eli in that match. And then when you tried to once again rig it for your boy Drew? He got clocked by my boy Pete...and sent back up that ramp with his tail between his legs. I am Champion to SPITE you, to make you long for days when Eli was Champion because at last it wasn't the guy that put you on the shelf permanently. But now? NOW...everywhere you look...you will see my smug face, RAISING THIS TITLE HIGH ABOVE MY HEAD...and no matter what you do? You won't be able to do a damn thing about it!

JBL chuckles as he looks up to the Intercontinental Champion.

$JBL$
Ah but you see Matt that’s were your wrong. I may not be able to physically do anything, but I guarantee you I can make your life a living hell, because as you see so frequent to forget I am the General Manager, not you. However seeing as to how I am the greatest General Manager XWL has ever had, and you are so eager to fight, I’ll give you one. But it’s not going to be against Eli Drake. No tonight you will not be going up against a man, but THE MAN. THE MAN that should be Intercontinental Champion. THE MAN that busts his ass each and every night to prove he is truly the best. And he is THE MAN that will beat you in that ring right here tonight to become the new number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship. THE MAN I speak of is none other than Drew McIntyre!

$JBL$
Now before I bring out the future Intercontinental Champion, I’d like to ask. Does anyone have any reason to object to this match and its stipulation?

Without missing a beat Matt Sydal raises his microphone, as he clearly objects, however as he attempts to speak no sound can be heard from his microphone. He taps it and still nothing. He begins to grow more and more agitated as he looks up to JBL who has a devilish smile stretched across his face.

$JBL$
No? Very well. Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce at this time, Drew McIntyre!

The theme begins to blare over the entry way as a wicked smile rolls across the face of JBL. The arena turns to a symphony of boos as Matt Sydal stands in the ring, aware of what is coming next as Drew McIntyre appears on the stage. The Scottish Psychopath throws his hair back as he steps up next to JBL, holding out a hand for the mic which is handed over to him. His eyes wander around the arena for a moment, then he speaks.

"Shut your pathetic mouths."

The boos just grow louder as Drew looks around, then back to Matt Sydal.

[Drew McIntyre]
You know, for quite some time before I signed my contract for XWL I had looked forward to meeting you Matt Sydal. This was the man of XWL, the Golden Ticket as he called himself. The top of the company, with or without the World Championship around his waist. I couldn't wait to meet him and kick his head, clean off, just so I could get that cocky smirk off your face.

McIntyre smiles as the crowd boos him once more. This doesn't halt him as he continues.

[Drew McIntyre]
But I see, someone already got to that for me because this isn't the Matt Sydal I wanted to kick in the head. No, this is instead a sad, worthless shell of a man. Never in all my life have I seen something so sad and pathetic, unless you count Eli Drake's attempts at wrestling, which in that case, you got me there. But no, this isn't Matt Sydal. This isn't Evan. This is just some guy, in bright tights, that thinks the world is turning around for him.

[Drew McIntyre]
Allow me to let you in on a little secret buddy: it isn't. The bad part is just getting started because you see, you had it made when you were serving JBL. Hell, you should of kissed his boots then begged to lace them for him. But instead you chose the foolish and selfish way as you walked away from the thing you claim you love the most: wrestling. Yet, these morons still cheer you. As though you're a martyr for the cause.

[Drew McIntyre]
The only thing these people can relate to you with is when you sat at home and brushed the popcorn off your chest while watching real men do the stuff you can't. While dreaming and aspiring to be like real heroes of the modern era. Real heroes like: ME! But enough of the truth. It's apparent that neither you nor these so called smarks will understand what the genius that is myself or JBL are getting at. Instead, I have to put my boot to the face of a Matt Sydal wannabe. It's a shame, but the heads all kick off the same.

McIntyre hands the mic back over to JBL, nodding at him as his smirk dies away into a cold scowl. The cocky McIntyre is gone and all that is left is the cold and terrifying one. The monster of Ayr makes his way down the ramp as the theme continues. He rips off his jacket, signalling the time for talking is over and the time for fighting has just started.

$JBL$
Ref, ring the damn bell!

Normal Match

Non-Title

If Drew wins he is #1 Contender To The Intercontinental Championship

The fans in the arena begin cheering loudly as Eli Drake comes into view. Drew is now facing Matt Sydal waiting for him to turn around, but Eli is not gonna let Drew make his strike as he starts to grab at Drew's feet.

[Mauro Ranallo]
That.. THAT IS THE ELITE ONE ELI DRAKE!!

Matt Sydal begins to turn, but Drew doesn't notice Eli, and starts to run, but falls to face as Eli trips him grabbing his left leg. The ref walks over yelling at Eli for his actions, and looks over at JoJo as Eli begins pulling Drew out of the ring.

[Ref]
Ring the bell! This match is over due to disqualification. Drew is the winner...

Fans in the front row begin booing as JoJo picks up the microphone.

[JoJo]
Ladies, and gentlemen it has come to my attention that this match has ended in disqualification. So your winner of this match due to disqualification... Drew McIntyre..

The camera now fully focuses on Eli Drake who has pulled Drew out of the ring, but Drew manages to get his feet on the ground before he was sent crashing to the ground outside of the ring. Eli lifts his right forearm up high as Drew's head rests on the side of the ring. Drew sees his opening, and throws a big back elbow. Eli stumbles back, but does this stop The Elite Superstar of XWL from firing back? NO! Drew tries to create distance, and get away he turns then begins walking away, but from behind Eli crashes into Drew with a Clothesline from behind sending him to the matt with a loud thud.

[The Elite Superstar of XWL Eli Drake]
You keep trying to get into my business Drew! You don't deserve any of this! Only reason why you are getting these chances is cause you're JBL's bitch!

[Corey Graves]
As we can tell here.. Eli is not happy about Drew getting this match.

Drew beings getting up to a knee, and Eli smacks him in the back of the head. He bends down grabbing drew by the head pulling his head underneath his left arm, and lifts Drew to his feet. Drew begins firing back with punches to Eli's gut. With each punch Eli's grip loosens up. Finally Eli's grip is broken, and Drew pushes Eli. This push had something extra behind it as it sends Eli onto his ass, and Drew starts running over the barricade. Eli quickly gets up, and cashes after Drew. As Eli closes in on the distance Drew hops over the barricade, and Eli with a last ditch effort to try get him. Eli rushes over to the barricade extending his arm outward trying to grab Drew. His hands was merely inches was grabbing Drew, but comes up short. It appears that Eli leaned to far forward, and falls over the barricade onto the other side. Eli gets up to his feet, and continues his chase through the crowd for Drew. Leaving Matt Sydal alone in the ring, and confused on what just transpired as we go to commercial break.

PostSubject: Re: XWL Anarchy: 12/3/2018 - 12/10/2018   Yesterday at 8:44 pm

As Anarchy resumes following a recap of Roulette which saw Toni Storm cement her place in history when she became The 1st North American Champion...we're taken backstage to a typical interview backdrop where none other than Alexa Bliss is standing beside Renee Young. But this isn't the usual Alexa we're so used to seeing bring this burst of energy and arrogance...no, tonight something seems very different. She doesn't stand with pride, her arms are pulled close to her waist, and even the way she's dressed is rather...plain. Just a "Little Miss Bliss" t-shirt covered by a jacket that is mostly zipped up. Renee herself seems quite awkward in her demeanor, as if she's really not sure how to begin this interview...because, what she witnessed at Roulette, what happened with Alexa...what can you even say?

[Renee Young]
Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm standing here with Alexa Bliss, hoping to address the events that transpired at Roulette.

Renee looks to Alexa, whose eyes are aimed at the floor, barely even a reaction to Renee, it's very...unlike her to have any reaction whether good or bad.

[Renee Young]
Normally we would show all of you a recap of the events in question...but, they are too graphic to ever be repeated..footage was lost, but unfortunately many of you were able to hear a little bit of...what happened. Most unfortunate of all, is that you Alexa were the victim of...I can't even put it into words it's too vile, even vile doesn't come close to properly expressing the...horrors...the...disturbing assault from Ruby Riott. But I appreciate you allowing us to talk to you, so can I first ask how are you doing tonight?

Alexa's eyes start to lift up, not quite to the camera, if we didn't know any better we'd almost say she's ashamed to show her face...but...surely that's not it? Though, her lack of any sort of emotion, or presence seems to point in that direction. Renee moves the mic closer, in hopes she might speak, but after several moments of silence, she brings it back to herself.

[Renee Young]
Alexa, I know we haven't always been on the best of terms, you've been a pain at times, but given the outrage over all of social media I believe I as well as the fans believe that what happened to you was not only well past any "line" it was something we wouldn't wish on our worst enemy. And I know this being brought into the limelight is probably the worst thing that's ever happened to you in your career. Because, you have grown from that time in your life, and no one should use that as a way to tear you down. All I can really say is that I'm so sorry Alexa, no one deserves to have someone not just talk about something very personal, but...go as far as to...force you to relive that.

Alexa's positioning slightly changes, as if this is indeed uncomfortable, moving around and clutching her abdomen tighter than she was, as if this entire ordeal has her stomach in knots and while that's more of an internal emotional thing, she's trying to undo those from the outside to feel better. She starts to almost...quiver, her face lifting up ever so slightly so that we can see a bit more of her. And what we see is even more difficult to watch than this already was, there's a stray tear that begins to fall down her cheek and to the floor. Rene feeling horrible for even having to try and talk about this decides the wound must still be too fresh, and she's not going to pry any further. Just as she gives the signal to the camera that they need to cut away, someone else suggests otherwise.

[???]
Aw, what's the matter, Lexi?

Just like at Roulette, Ruby Riott steps into frame with a devious smile on her face. Her very voice causes Alexa to almost freeze, as if what happened at Roulette was so traumatic that she's been triggered by Ruby's appearance, and she's gone back to that moment of weakness.

[Ruby Riott]
A "Champion" against bullying like you should be used to this. But I guess that's the problem in itself, huh? Your privileged little life makes you think everything's so much worse than it is...and now that someone's come along and shown you what it really means to be BULLIED...you've gone quiet. But have no fear, your dear pal Ruby is here to open your mouth back up, and let you spill EVERYTHING.

Without hesitation Ruby jabs Alexa straight into the gut, doubling her over, as Ruby extends two fingers forward, it's exactly like what happened at Roulette, and Renee knowing what's about to happen goes screaming for help.

[Ruby Riott]
Now now, don't be shy...you've done this a thousand times, one more won't hurt.

Alexa is literally as we've never seen her before, she's too frightened to even fight back, it's as if she's checked out of her mind to not be present for what's about to happen, as Ruby's fingers inch closer to her mouth, beginning to enter when they abruptly come to a halt, causing Bliss to sigh in relief as Ruby's eyes shift towards the figure she saw in her peripheral vision a moment ago.

[Ruby Riott]
Looks like we have an audience, let's hope you don't have stage fright.

Ruby's fingers continue on their journey, a slow and disgustingly methodical pace also teasing the Superstar out of view, until they take a few steps closer, both walking into the shot and causing Riott to briefly stop her gesture, a sick smile forming on her face. The woman in question is almost a surprise, The Pirate Princess herself in Kairi Sane, the woman that just engaged in a war with Alexa Bliss at Roulette in the ever unique Trading Places Match.

[Ruby Riott]
Now now, I would stop right there if I were you. All it takes is another inch and we'll have a repeat of Roulette, and you wouldn't want that, would you? Although, she might.

At this point, the mental and physical torture is almost too much for Bliss, causing some tears to drain from her eyes and roll down her cheek, these don't seem to be crocodile tears, but their genuine counterparts. The look of fear on her face as she locks eyes with the woman she's mocked for weeks, pleading for rescue from this hostage situation.

[Ruby Riott]
Now instead of standing there like a pirate caught in headlights, why don't you go walk on planks or fail to plunder treasure, whatever it is you pirates do because right now, I've got my own “treasure” to plunder.

Ruby is now in the homestretch, her fingers nearing their destination and just when it seemed that Bliss would be in line for some deja vu, Kairi's elbow flies into the air, catching Ruby across the jaw, causing her grip to loosen and her fingers to retreat from Bliss' mouth, almost surprised at the shot she just took. Before she can fully react, another is sent in her direction, striking her in the same spot. As a third is airborne, Ruby manages to dodge it and readjust her position by tactically retreating down the corridor to remove herself from harm's way.

[Ruby Riott]
Don't worry, Alexa...we'll pick up where we left off next time. As for you, you'll regret that, Pirate.

The once confident and beyond arrogant Alexa Bliss sits there on the verge of having an emotional breakdown as the woman she seemingly had issues with kneels down beside her drying her tears. Normally Alexa would refuse help from anyone, but at this point she's just grateful this wasn't a repeat of Roulette. The scene closes out as Renee Young returns with help only to find she was beaten to the punch. Kairi continues to console Alexa, showing how sweet of a person she truly is as we fade out.

I'm so glad I came back. I missed reading all your awesome promos. You all pretty much eclipse the real thing. Didn't see that Gargano/Ciampa twist coming but I kinda loved it. ^^

Triple Threat Match

World Television Championship #1 Contendership

Matt stands to his feet almost, but does not celebrate his victory. A look of somber crosses the face of Broken Matt standing there looking down upon the ground.

[Mauro Ranallo]
The past month Broken Matt has been saying he doesn't deserve to fight his brother for the XWL World Television title, but here he stands victorious.

[Corey Graves]
Not only is he the winner, but he is now number one contender for said title. Look at Matt.. he is not happy that he has won.

The ref walks over to Broken Matt, and grabs his wrist then raises it high into the air indicating that Broken Matt Hardy is the winner of this match up. Matt's eyes slowly rise up to his waist, and slightly shakes his head in disapproval of his victory.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Wow.. you are right Corey. You can tell that he did not want this victory, but it is written in history, but remember this is exactly the match Jeff has been wanting. How is this going to reflect on the brother's relationship?

[Corey Graves]
It makes you think if Matt is really going to go through with this match For how heavy his heart is with regret for all of his actions in the past towards his brother.

Broken Matt makes his exit out of the ring, and walks up the ramp with sadness in his eyes. What does this mean for the title match? Stay tuned Next week to find out more!

We return from commercial break, finding ourselves in the presence of one half of the Tag Team Champions, Chris Sabin. Only, he doesn't look quite like Chris Sabin. Instead, he looks like Chris Sabin, but in a suit and tie, which isn't very Sabin-ish. But here we are. He stands outside of a door and knocks on it. A moment passes before it opens and the other half of the team appears.

[Chad Gable]
Thank goodness you're here. I never thought you'd make it.

Chris Sabin enters the locker room, followed by the camera to reveal a normal looking locker room. Yet, Sabin surveys the area, checking under a few things and inside others before turning back to Gable before uttering a word.

Chris Sabin
You called about a, robbery?

[Chad Gable]
Yeah, what are you doing?

Chris Sabin
The thief might still be afoot. Can never be too careful.

[Chad Gable]
Chris, you were there when it was taken. What do you-

Sabin's hand shoots out, shushing Gable as he appears to have heard something. A moment passes before he replaces the hand to his side.

Chris Sabin
Continue.

[Chad Gable]
Chris, seriously. What are we going to do about my belt.

Chris Sabin pulls out his phone, dialing a number and them placing it to his ear.

[Chad Gable]
What are you doing?

Chris Sabin
Calling in back-up.

[Chad Gable]
Chris, it's only us. There is no one else to call.

Chris Sabin
Oh really? Well turn around.

Sure enough, Gable turns around to find Cardboard Shelley, a phone taped to his face as he stares blankly ahead at the camera. Gable looks to Shelley, then to Sabin, then to Shelley, then back at Sabin, then to Shelley who is now on a horse- WAIT. That's the wrong commercial.

[Chad Gable]
Alright, alright. This isn't how this needs to go. Chris, I've waited my entire career to be a champion. I've waited my entire life to wrestle. I've waited an eternity for these moments and their being taken away from me time and time again. First it was you, and after you stopped, I figured we were untouchable, but now, it's Undisputed Era. How many of them are there anyways? Like, 8?

Chris Sabin
There's only five.

[Chad Gable]
That isn't the point. There could be hundreds of them. Thousands, Chris. But at the end of the day one of those fools have my title. Mine. My half of our team. I'm letting it down and I'm not one to let anyone down. I want to- I need to get it back. I don't care what it takes. I'll fight every last one of them. I'll fight them with one of my hands tied behind my back. I'm just not walking away tonight without what is mine because, one, theivery is wrong and two, it has my name on it. That's like, ultimate dibs.

Chris Sabin
Have you tried asking for it back?

[Chad Gable]
I..... No.

Chris Sabin
Well...

[Chad Gable]
Is that what you would do?

Chris Sabin
Well, it beats standing here venting. But why are you telling me and Alex. Go tell the world. More importantly, go tell them.

One transition later, we're taken towards the arena, the myriad of hand made posters and signs being littered in a sea of humanity, each being lifted in place by people wearing one or more articles of clothing in support of their favorite Superstars. The camera pans throughout the crowd, showcasing the unique sight that changes every week for a few more moments before darkness falls upon the arena, causing the theme of the “Stupid Idiots” from “Trash City” to begin to play. After many seconds pass, in unison with the chorus, a spotlight pierces the darkness, illuminating the duo of Chad Gable and Chris Sabin on the stage, Gable on his knees with his arms extended outwards while Sabin stands behind him, his arm extended in the shape of a gun pointing at the ring, a noticeable accessory missing around Gable's waist.

Being a one man firing squad, Sabin “shoots” the ring, causing Gable to rise from his feet and the pair to stand side by side, Sabin raising his arms up to his uncharacteristic suit and tries to rip it off his body but instead of being a seamless transition, Sabin begins to notably struggle against the fabric. Gable mouths, “What are you doing?” before assisting his tag team partner in his endeavor, quickly proving to be the missing piece of the equation when he rips it off Sabin's body. Gable hands over the piece he ripped off of the now ruined suit, causing Sabin to toss the piece that he ended up with into the crowd, causing a mad grab within the section it landed in, a near brawl ensuing for the apparently priceless suit. He take the remaining part and tosses it towards the opposite section of the crowd, hoping for a different result but ends up with more of the same, a brawl breaking out between the three way tie for the ruined suit, causing security to interject themselves into the fray. The “Stupid Idiots” exchanging a gaze, Gable's expression reading, “Look what you did” while Sabin just shrugs it off before the pair make their descent down the entrance ramp.

With a single goal in mind, the pairing make their way to the ring with purpose, slapping the hands of the fans on either side of the entrance ramp as they make their way down to the ringside area. A few words are exchanged, causing Gable to slide into the ring as Sabin scurries around the ring to reach the timekeepers area, retrieving two microphones and sliding into the ring. Sabin tosses Gable a microphone before the duo engage in a quick game of rock paper scissors to decide who will speak first. Gable wins with ease and takes no time addressing the state of the XWL Tag Team Championships.

[Chad Gable]
Undisputed Era! I have a bone to pick with you! You took something that belongs to me! Despite if you pinned me or not, the match ended with us being champions still so I would like my title back! After all, that's how it works! Damn it!

Chris Sabin
The fact of the matter is this: Kyle O'Reilly Auto Parts, Bobby Fish out of water, you have something that doesn't belong to you. So unless you want us to go back there and show you how property is retrieved in “Trash City,” I suggest that you two come out here and return it to its rightful owners. Maybe that's what you want, maybe you want the “modern day Hercules” Chad Gable, maybe you want the “Submission Magician” Chris Sabin to go back there and-

Gable taps Sabin on the shoulder, causing him to stop mid sentence and pull the microphone away from his lips, leaning towards Gable, who begins mouthing something into his ear. A look of confusion transitioning into almost disgust appears on Sabin's face before he raises the microphone back up.

Chris Sabin
What do you mean that's already taken? Looks like we both got something stolen from us.

[Chad Gable]
Sabin is right! At the end of the day, we're the champions. We're the Trash City Stupid Idiots. We earned what we've gotten over the past year. We've busted our asses for the titles and for this division. We are this division! So I want you to come out here and hand that belt back over to the person it belongs to, the person who made it into the prestigous title it is today, Alex Shelley!

Gable points to Cardboard Shelley who smiles at the camera. Cause you know, that's all he ever does.

[Chad Gable]
Who in turn will hand it over to me. So get out here and hand over our title!

Sabin leans over to Gable, nudging him slightly causing Gable to jump and then bring the mic back up.

[Chad Gable]
Please.

Sabin nods and smiles as Gable lowers the mic slowly, unsure if that was the right move or not.

The theme of the Undisputed Era hits to a mixed reaction which has become customary for XWL's largest faction. The team of ReDRagon, Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly make their way out onto the stage with mics in hand. O'Reilly is wearing one of the tag titles around his waist. They stop and O'Reilly raises the mic upwards with a confused expression on his face.

[Kyle O'Reilly]
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait just a minute! I pinned you Chad Gable. Or did we beat you guys so bad that you don't remember?

Fish nods in agreement as O'Reilly continues.

[Kyle O'Reilly]
The fact that you're both standing in that ring right now with our other tag team title is just plain wrong! You guys need to hand it over to Bobby here and then you can go back to making your horrible jokes and parodies, or whatever you want to call them. Nobody cares about you guys because you are a JOKE!

Gable acts completely devastated at O'Reilly's words before locking eyes with Sabin and laughing.

[Kyle O'Reilly]
As far as we are concerned, YOU tapped out. So that means, YOU have our title! WE are the tag team champions right now, so hand it over!

O'Reilly burns a hole in the ring with his gaze, as Fish crunches his knuckles as they await a response.

Chris Sabin
I tapped out? You think that the “Samoan Submission Machine” taps out!? You-

Again, Gable taps Sabin on the shoulder, causing him to lower the microphone once more before whispering into his ear. Upon the revelation, Sabin simply runs his hand through his hair, mouthing “Seriously?” as Gable nods.

Chris Sabin
Why don't you ask your partner who exactly was tapping out while you were allegedly pinning Chad Gable? Because as far as we're concerned, YOU were the one with your shoulders to the mat. The only thing I know is that your partner was tapping like a Fish out of water when I applied the Ankle Lock and you didn't even try to help him. Is that the kind of partner you are, O'Reilly, one that forces him to fend for himself while you try to take the glory?

Fish now stands forward in defence of his tag team partner

[Bobby Fish]
Whoa whoa, Hold up there 2018 Marty Jannetty.... If you watch back the video you'll see the only reason I tapped out...is because I knew my partner had it won. Kyle knew I wasn't in danger, I saw Kyle had the titles won, so I as the ref counted 3, I tapped out so you'd release hold so I could celebrate with my partner. The ankle lock didn't even hurt for a start! We're the true champions here, So hand me my title then you two can head back there and go back to being oblivious to everything going on out here. So kindly hand me my championship, and leave the real champs to celebrate in true Undisputed Era style!

Familiar music hits and none other than Drake Maverick appears on the stage alongside the Undisputed Era.

[Drake Maverick]
Gentlemen, please.  The tag team championship match at Roulette ended in a draw.  That was clear for everybody to see.  And in the case of a draw, the champions retain.  So Trash City Stupid Idiots are still the Tag Team Champions!

O'Reilly and Fish are enraged and scream "What!?" as Gable and Sabin raise their arms and start to celebrate..

[Drake Maverick]
However, the XWL Universe wants to see it, I want to see it and our esteemed GM JBL wants to see it... so at Breakthrough, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish of the Undisputed Era will face off against the Trash City Stupid Idiots in tag team competition for the Tag Team Championship!  This time we will have a clear winner gentlemen... hopefully you don't "tap away" your chances again.

Maverick exits and leaves the two teams to lock eyes.  O'Reilly unstraps the title around his waist and he and Fish hold it up high.  Gable and Sabin do the same with their own title.  The two teams will collide at Breakthrough to decide who will go home with the two straps of gold in what will be a match nobody will want to miss!

Normal Match

North American Championship #1 Contenders Tournament Match

With Kairi Sane now in prime position to put an end to this match and advance to the finals of the North American Championship Tournament to crown a Number One Contender for Toni Storm's newly won Championship, The Pirate Princess motions for the InSane Elbow, a move that has put away many a foe, including the woman ringside in Alexa Bliss. Just when it seemed Kairi was about to cross the t's and dot the i's, Bliss is heard shouting into the ring, “She's here, Nia!” causing Sane to look towards Bliss, who is looking towards the ramp, before she does the same, spotting Ruby Riott already halfway down the ramp, a sick and calculated smile etched on her face. Nia begins to stir on the canvas as both Alexa and Kairi are looking at the slowly approaching Ruby, wielding a “blissified” bucket in her hand, swinging it back and forth with every step.

Ruby reaches the bottom of the ramp, and makes a sharp turn, going towards the side Bliss is on, causing the woman known as Five Feet of Fury to begin backstepping away from the impending threat. Kairi, still on the top rope, has seemingly had enough of this, lowering herself back down to the top turnbuckle and begins to make her way down back to the canvas, but before she could, Nia Jax, taking full advantage of this situation, takes a hold of Sane, throwing her onto her own shoulders, causing the Japanese native to begin unloading a quick flurry of elbows to escape the grasp of the stronger woman to no avail.

Nia puts an end to that with a swift yet deadly Samoan Drop, leaving The Pirate Princess laid out in the center of the ring. Outside the ring, Bliss has turned the corner, Ruby still giving chase almost at a mockingly slow pace, as if she's savoring every second of this. Alexa is heard shouting, “Nia, she's getting closer!” causing the woman in the ring to shout back, “I'm almost done here.” “Hurry” is all that escapes Bliss' lips as Nia begins to measure up a downed Kairi Sane before dropping a swift leg drop, nearly turning The Pirate Princess into The Pirate Pancake. Nia doesn't stop there, pulling herself back up off the canvas and dropping a second, more calculated Leg Drop. If Kairi wasn't down before, she is now.

The larger Jax transitions herself into a pinfall attempt but before she hooks the leg, she stops herself, carefully contemplating her next move. An internal nod later, she pulls herself up to her feet once more, motioning to the seemingly out of it Kairi Sane for one more Leg Drop. Nia throws herself towards the nearest set of ring ropes, ricocheting off of them like a torpedo with her target being the pirate ship of Kairi Sane. When she gets within range, she leaps into the air, her leg nearly crushing Sane's throat in the process with the power behind it. Seemingly content with this decision, Nia quickly goes into the cover, ready to advance to the finals of the Tournament.

1...

2...

3!

Nia's theme begins to play throughout the arena, her arm being raised by the referee in victory. It may be shortlived however as Bliss, still managing to somehow avoid Ruby Riott's grasp for the duration of the closing moments of this match, has accidentally backpedaled into the steel ring steps, causing her to fall over backwards, stopping her escape momentarily. As Ruby inches closer and closer to her prey, Bliss has to choice but to attempt an escape by crawling away on her hands and knees causing Ruby to begin moving just ever so slightly quicker than before and closing the gap much faster than Alexa anticipated. Just when it seemed like Ruby would be rewarded for her patience, Nia quickly slides out of the ring, standing between Riott and her target, being denied what she wanted for the second time in the evening.

Ruby mouths, “This isn't over, Lexi” before taking a few steps back and hopping over the barricade before ultimately disappearing into the crowd, crisis being averted for the second time in a single night. With the weight being seemingly lifted from her shoulders, Alexa is helped up to her feet by Nia, who motions for them to make their way to the back to celebrate Nia's impressive victory over Kairi Sane, avenging her defeat to The Pirate Princess some weeks ago, much like her best friend managed to do at Roulette. TheY make it around the ring, standing on the side closest to the ramp before Nia begins her ascent while Bliss stays at the ringside area, looking into the ring at the still downed Kairi Sane.

Alexa's in a conflicted position, sure she's had her issues with The Pirate Princess...but Ruby's actions have put things into perspective where Alexa maybe didn't see it before...and the fact is, when Alexa was targeted for a repeat of Roulette by the truly vile Ruby Riott...she was saved, by the unlikeliest of people, Kairi Sane. She stopped Ruby from her disorderly conduct and as Alexa sees Kairi struggling to even get up, profusely coughing on the mat, she's met with this strange feeling, as if the holiday season has inspired this Grinch like transformation...and her cold little heart began to grow three times it's size, feeling...remorse? Is that it? She looks to Nia then back to Kairi...and starts to backtrack. Something in her won't let her leave, not after Kairi put aside their issues to help someone in need, and isn't that what Kairi needs right now?

As she slowly approaches the ring, Nia calls back to her. "Lexi, the locker room's this way!" Motioning for Alexa to hurry along so they can leave together. Alexa stood at the edge of the ring, her hands pressed against the side of the ring apron, looking at Kairi...but again Nia persists "I know I did a great job but you don't need to admire my work, let's go!" Alexa turns back to Nia, and reluctantly begins to backtrack her backtracking, repeatedly looking back over her shoulder at Kairi, part of her wants to tell Nia to go on without her that she wants to show Kairi half of the compassion she had for her earlier. But this is all so...different for her. She doesn't know which way is up and which way is down. She's really confused, emotionally shattered, and her instincts just tell her to leave, to follow Nia.

Just when she's about to stop herself again, Nia had ventured back to Alexa placing her arm around her and begins to lead her up the ramp. Alexa's head turns once more over her shoulder as she's led away, seemingly concerned about Kairi Sane. But due to Nia being her best friend, she feels obligated to go with her, because with Ruby Riott's antics...that's what she really needs right now, a friend to help her get through this trying time. The two of them head through the curtain as the scene comes to a close.

Normal Match

Eli stands to his feet after being declared victorious, and takes little time motions over a microphone. He grabs it from JoJo.

[The Elite Superstar of XWL Eli Drake]
Drew... If you or JBL continue to slide yourself where you don't belong. I will have no problem kicking your ass again. I chased your ass out of this building, but the funny thing is to me. You think you deserve the Intercontinental after backing down from a fight? Nah nah nah! Like I said before Drew... YOU DON'T DESERVE SHIT. Just wait until I get my hands on you, and I will prove exactly why I am The Elite Superstar of XWL. As I have time, and time again. I mean come on.. I did something you couldn't do Drew. I pinned Pete Dunne. Hell I almost took out the whole Undisputed Era! I gave both of them the fight of my life, and yeah I didn't come out, but let's see how well you do in a two on one. Something tells me if you ran from a fight with me. You would be running as fast as you can if you had to square up with them. While I planted both of my feet in the ground, and took everything thing they had to dish out.

Eli is seething in anger as he thinks more in depth about JBL possibly handing Drew another title shot.

[The Elite Superstar of XWL Eli Drake]
See this is what I was talking about months ago people. Even though I have a title rematch against Matt Sydal. JBL is overlooking all of this great talent that is in the locker room, and handing opportunity after opportunity to Drew. The only thing I can come up with is Drew's knee pads are getting a good work out if you catch my drift. Drew I expect you to wipe the mess JBL made on your face, and wisen up man. Just because you can give the boss a blowjob, and receive opportunities doesn't mean you will capitalize. So far you have a horrible track record, kid, but let's see how well you do next week.. I want you in the ring next week ready for a fight...

Eli drops the mic, and makes his exit with the fans cheering as we go to commercial.

As Anarchy returns from commercial, we are brought backstage with none other than Renee Young standing by.

[Renee Young]
Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, Aiden English.

Mr. Money in the Bank Aiden English walks into frame, briefcase in hand as always. However, something that is somewhat unusual is he is on his own. Rusev is nowhere to be found.

[Renee Young]
Now Aiden, you specifically requested this time, which is strange as you normally tend to treat me as an…. annoyance to say the least. What do you want to say right now to the XWL Universe? And, if you don’t mind me asking, where exactly is Rusev?

{Aiden English}
Well Renee, on the subject of Rusev…….

Aiden trails off, looking unsure of himself. Tears begin to form in his eyes, but as always, who knows if they’re real or just another performance?

{Aiden English}
Well after those barbaric Hardys somehow managed to muster up all the luck they have and win our match last night at Roulette, Rusev didn’t know what to do. So, he decided….. to take a break from XWL. To go spend more time with his lovely wife Lana.

Aiden places his fist to his mouth, biting down as he begins to full on cry. Renee Young just stands there awkwardly for a while, not really sure what to do. Eventually, she decides that a hug might be the best idea? Ever so slowly she moves closer English, before beginning to wrap her arms around him in a moment that is likely making her rethink her career decision.

{Aiden English}
WAIT, MY MESSAGE!

Out of nowhere Aiden springs back to life, causing Renee to fall backwards right onto the floor. Aiden sees that he caused this, but doesn’t seem to pay any mind to it. Eventually, Renee gets back up, dusts herself off, and puts the microphone back up to Aiden English, taking a mental note that literally all of his tears seem to be gone.

{Aiden English}
Now Renee, I do have to warn you that my message may not be the most exciting one you’ve ever heard in your life. In fact, it’s more of a reminder than anything else. But, the matter is, during my time with Rusev, I heard some vile rumors that I had left the Cabinet. Well, I am here to put these rumors to rest, and affirm the XWL Universe that my membership in the Cabinet is and always has been pristine. Mr. Layfield was just allowing me a little “break” you could say. No fear however, me, Mr. Layfield, and Drew Mcintyre...

Renee makes a face of confusion in regards to Aiden’s odd tone of voice when saying the name of his fellow Cabinet member, but he continues without elaborating.

{Aiden English}
… are still a strong, collective unit that shall venture forth into the seas of XWL! And of course, as always, I must remind every other superstar on the XWL roster that they are looking at a future XWL Heavyweight champion. Well Renee, I must say, our time here has been quite enlightening, but as always, my time is more valuable than your, so I must be going.

[Renee Young]
But this is your…. Time…… you…. asked…... forget it he’s gone. Back to you Mauro and Corey!

The feed then switches back to ringside where whatever fierce match or emotional promo is up to next is leaving the fans in anticipation.
