As Emergence officially goes live from The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California...the first thing we see immediately grabs our attention because there appears to be a Woman, pale of skin holding a newspaper in front of her, we're not sure where she is because what our eyes gravitate to, is the headline on the front of that paper.

"Riot wins, Natalya forced to leave XWL"

It's accompanied by a photograph in black and white of Ruby Riot standing over Natalya with The Women's Championship held high above her head, as she uses the other hand to mockingly wave goodbye to one of XWL's veterans. We, of course, know that tonight at Emergence The Main-Event will see Natalya stake her spot on The XWL Roster, risking it being the last night she ever competed under the XWL umbrella, all so she could potentially end The 8-year lapse in time since she was last Champion.

Suddenly the paper lowers, and we see Ruby staring right at us with a smirk across her face.

[Ruby Riot]
Oh hi there, I bet you're expecting some fancy introduction to tonight's show, aren't you? Aw, isn't that adorable? You think I'm like all the others and I'll just play some role to promote an event? I'm not like everybody else, especially in The Women's Division because you know, I beat April...and took her title, because of a Money in The Bank contract that funny enough, I won at this event last year!

She sets the paper down, grabbing her Women's Championship off of the bench she's sitting on, then places it on her shoulder.

[Ruby Riot]
I wonder who will win this year? Actually, I don't care...because whoever it is, has to go through me in order to be successful, and that's just not going to happen. I've received a lot of flack these past 2 months, questioning whether or not I deserve my spot in XWL...and to those people, I again, point their attention to The Women's Title on my shoulder. Are you Champion? Is your precious Natalya, champion? No. But I bet you think she's going to finally win the big one tonight, don't you?

The Women's Champion laughs, rolling her eyes.

[Ruby Riot]
Only in her dreams, dreams that I will crush within the palm of my hand tonight. It took her over a year to beat April, that doesn't make her worthy, burying some purple neon loser doesn't make her worthy. And you know what else? LOSING EVERY TITLE MATCH SHE'S HAD IN 8 YEARS DOESN'T MAKE HER WORTHY! So you want me to promote Emergence, as the night that men and women emerge into superstardom? How about, no...because no one matters tonight more than me. The Cabinet's flavors of the month Aiden English & D'Angelo Dinero and D-Generation X, otherwise known as two old guys clinging to the only thing that made people care about them, can have their little war. Just like Sami Zayn can try to combat a Lunatic. NONE OF THAT MATTERS.

Ruby clearly going off her intended course of highlighting the show, is apparently only interested in highlighting her moment tonight, which she believes will be when she forces Natalya out of XWL.

[Ruby Riot]
They put me on the promotional images tonight because I'm supposed to represent what JBL, Shawn Michaels, Bad News Barrett, or John Cena could become by next year's show...but they're not me...and they don't have a Champion like April, to bring to their knees as they ascend to the top. Liv, Nia, Carmella, Sasha...they won't follow in my footsteps, they'll sink right into the dirt and fall flat on their pretty little faces.

The ever so "humble" Ruby Riot starts to tap her foot on the pavement, looking in the distance as if she's impatiently waiting for something, but it doesn't come so she just continues..

[Ruby Riot]
Chris Jericho will be screwed by Styles who helps his "good brother" because Bullet Club for life, or until they all turn on each other. Sami Callihan will deal with his own nuisance in Chad Gable, and "emerge" still your Intercontinental Champion and move on to better things. Did I mention that Sami's going to lose to Ambrose? The other Sami, the one that's "InZayn" or something stupid like that. It's going to be a bad night for Canada, their darling Trish will fall to Asuka, their World Champion will fail them, and then last but not least...Natalya will FAIL, again...I mean honestly why would that even be a headline? "Natalya fails" in other news, the sky is blue.

Groaning, she looks down at the paper, then quickly rips it in half tossing it aside.

[Ruby Riot]
Did you hear that The Miz is back? And in order to recover from losing to a lovable underdog...he finds another one...wonder if Johnny Gargano will whoop his ass like the last one? Oh I almost forgot...add one more Canadian to the pile of failures, Christian's back tonight against CM Punk...wow, it's really going to be a bad night for Canada, instead of calling this Emergence we should rename it to "Sorry you suck Canada." Did I miss anything? Is this hyping you up for Emergence? Well if that doesn't do it, then wait until we see Pete Dunne the new number one contender to Dean's other title, battle against Cody...just Cody because unlike Natalya...he doesn't want to be known only for his family name...gee, I'd say Natalya should take some pointers from him, but what's the point she's gone after tonight why not be a "Hart" one more night, after all she hasn't ruined their family name enough as it is...no, why not add one last L to column that is their "legacy."

Once more her impatience gets the best of her, loud tapping of her foot hitting the cement pavement, fidgeting in her seat. She leans forward, turning to her left, looking for something again...but sees nothing still.

[Ruby Riot]
Ugh, come on...fine apparently I've got more time to kill, let's see...what else is there...ELI DRAKE VERSUS KENNY OMEGA...aka neither of us are elite but we like to think we are. I mean does anyone define "Elite" more than me? I haven't even been here a year, and look at me. I'm what you see as Emergence goes LIVE, and I'll be what you see as Emergence ends when I'm standing over your "hero" and I kick her to the curb where trash like her belongs!

Suddenly we hear a loud engine pulling up from the distance, and as the camera pans out, we see a Bus with a banner across it reading "DOWNPOUR" with The Elimination Chamber behind the lettering. She mumbles under her breath "Finally" then gets up, but stops before she steps into the bus.

[Ruby Riot]
Well, as you can see...I've got better places to be, just like we all have better things to do tonight than to sit through Shinsuke Nakamura and John Cena...I mean you think their Main-Event in Japan years ago was disappointing? Just wait until tonight, when all of you are disappointed by Natalya, ONE FINAL TIME. When the tears start welling up, just remember...I told you she wasn't worthy...but no, you had you had to go and give her false hope...well when all is said and done she'll be hopeless...and oh, JOBLESS. Welcome to Emergence.

With a fake smile on her face for a moment, that fades to disgust as if it killed her to sit here and talk to us and promote the show, when clearly her sights are set elsewhere...she steps onto the bus, and it drives off...will she actually be going to Downpour as The Women's Champion or will she get kicked off the bus before they reach their destination?

[Corey Graves]
What a night we have ahead of us, don’t you agree Mauro?

[Mauro Ranallo]
Yes we do! One of our biggest events of the year in the shape of Emergence! We would like to thank you all for joining us here in Los Angeles, California and all around the world watching!

[Corey Graves]
I can’t wait. I don’t know which match is going to be the best one! We have Cena and Nakamura going at it. We have Sami Zayn and Dean Ambrose fighting over the World Title!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Don’t forget about our Main Event tonight, Natalya versus Ruby Riot for the Women’s Championship. However, we’re also going to start with championship action here tonight. Take it away!

With that, the camera disappears to darkness moving backwards in time from what one could assume. In mere moments, we are taken back to Bobby Roode versus Chad Gable. We catch only the end coming up in slow motion to reveal Gable German Suplexing Roode into the mat and covering. With a solid three count, a song begins to play setting the tone for Gable’s title reign.

The image changes to show Gable holding the title high above his head, a smirk coming across his face. We then see Gable doing the rounds, running through the competition. Flashes of him beating people in the HBK Classic jump onto screen. One by one they line up, getting planted by a suplex into the mat which signaled their defeat. We even get a moment of Gable dancing, enjoying his reign thus far. Then we move to the prior defense he had made. The triple threat with Dolph Ziggler and Rich Swann which turned out to be a high paced match and definitely worth watching. Gable comes out, planting the competition once again into the mat. He stands, smile across his face while he’s on top of the world. Hands down the best Intercontinental Champion to come about in a long, long time. Then we catch him backstage, following this evening. His words ring out as the interview takes place.

“Yeah, sure. I mean, what a match right? A triple threat in my first defense of a title ever and I walked away with the belt, clean. Can't get much better, right?”

Then in one moment, the music stops as another figure bursts into frame taking Chad Gable to the floor. Then, it flashes to Callihan breaking Gable’s hand with a chair. The image slows, another song beginning to play.

A complete change of pace from Gable’s fun spotlight we’re taken into a darker world for Callihan’s reign. The Switchblade is seen, basically snarling at competition as he runs through opponent after opponent. Attacking Gable from behind as his voice comes over the music.

“Might Mouse”

Callihan is no joke as his goal is to mame and injure anyone who steps to him which was seen with Gable. This doesn’t change as their match comes across the screen as Callihan takes out Gable with a finisher off the reentry. Boom, XWL had a new Intercontinental Champion. The music stops, showing Callihan standing over Gable with the title high above his head.

“How many shows has Sami Callihan even showed up to since becoming Champion?”

The words echo out across the airwaves having just been spoken last week.

“at Emergence, I'm going to beat his ass and take back my title.”

The words of Chad Gable ring out as the new song begins to play. Almost fitting to the words that Gable spoke asking what one man could do with all that power. In Gable’s opinion, Sami crumbled under the pressure. The images speed up to show Gable and Callihan clashing. Each man getting a moment of offense and then revealing the two having a staredown. The song carrying them as we see each of them in their prime, ready to go war here tonight.

[Corey Graves]
And it’s time to kick off with the Intercontinental Championship match!

Sure enough the curtain parts and out comes Sami Callihan. He holds the title over his shoulder, shrugging off the crowd’s distaste for him as he comes marching out onto the ramp. With one hand he raises the belt while the other makes a gun, pointing it right at the ring. He shoots it, storming to the ring in one fluid motion. The look of confidence strolled across his face as he makes his way down the ramp ignoring the fans reaching out to him.

[Mauro Ranallo]
The Switchblade has arrived at Emergence!

[Corey Graves]
Of course he’s here! He has to destroy Chad Gable once and for all.

Callihan slides into the ring, not even rounding it and wasting his time. He crosses it, finding a turnbuckle and mounting it as he holds the title high above his head. He smirks as the crowd showers him in boos. In the middle of this taunt, the lights go out. There is a brief moment of silence before a new song hits the airwaves.

Lights flash around the arena with the beat of the music, almost like a chorus of lights singing the song at hand. It’s ominous and yet, beautiful in its presentation. Some of the crowd pops recognizing the song but most of them wait until the main music hits.

[Mauro Ranallo]
What is this!?

[Corey Graves]
You have got to be kidding me….

The lights flash all around the arena as the intro plays on, the crowd bouncing to the beat of the music and then a spotlight drops on stage as the main theme of the music begins to play. On stage stands Chad Gable who bows his head. He throws one arm up which is in the form of a fist, nodding to the music as fireworks go off around him. This is quite the visual spectacle at this point as Gable stands on stage, all the lights coming up with the second variation coming in with the drums. He bobs his head, smiling out at the crowd who can be seem dancing around to the beat of the song. He waves and then begins to walk down to the ring.

He high fives a hand full of the fans then begins to bounce to the music, moving his way down the ramp. As he reaches the bottom of the ramp, he turns to the crowd which has begun to sing with the chorus of the song. He jumps onto the barricade in one fluid motion, right in front of the sea of singing fans all in harmony at this point.

“Take, on, me!”

The crowd all shout in response

“TAKE ON ME!”

Gable turns and jumps off the barricade, allowing the beat of the music to carry him up the steps, stomping on the beat as the crowd claps with it. Chad seems to be having fun, which is very opposite of Callihan who looks very unamused at this point of the song. Gable still darts down the apron, jumping onto the top rope and taunting out to the crowd who are still just jamming out at this point. He turns to Callihan, winking who shakes his head in response, then jumps off the top rope, rearing up in the corner, ready to fight.

The theme that we heard earlier in the night but this time without the introduction spiel that it was given last time plays signaling the end of the match has finally happened. Gable drops to the mat on his knees, screaming out in victory as his hand is raises by the ref. The ref doesn’t waste much time grabbing hold of the Intercontinental Championship and handing it over to Gable who takes it in his hands. He looks down at it, smiling with the biggest smile he’s had all evening as he has finally gotten back that which he had lost. Callihan has disappeared, no longer seen as Gable stands, staggered. He moves to the middle of the ring and looks out across the fans and bows, showing a sign of respect for those in attendance and at home. Then he raises the title above his head, smiling widely.

The theme that the fans were once enjoying singing along to has now abruptly come to an end, causing an air of confusion around the live audience in attendance, murmuring amongst themselves as to the potential technical difficulties. It takes Gable a few moments to comprehend what's going on, between the grueling contest he just endured to absorbing the positive energy from the crowd. He looks around, still trying to catch his breath, asking the ringside staff if this was intended. They wave him off, not knowing what's going on themselves.

It becomes apparent when the sound of a machine gun firing fills the arena for a few moments before the sound fades out, causing Gable and the crowd to both look towards the only place they'll receive answers: The Stage. Preparing himself for the inevitable, Gable grasps his hands around the Intercontinental Championship, ready to use it as a weapon if need be, and shifts himself into a defensive position. If the sound of guns is a sign of anything, it's a sign that the Bullet Club isn't too happy that one of their own has lost the championship and are out for revenge, but where are they?

Gable begins to scan the crowd, looking for any signs of a threat, which seems to be a futile attempt as the seconds tick past. The crowd joins in, looking among themselves to see if they could spot the proverbial “Waldo” in this sea of the XWL Universe. Just like Gable before them, their attempts prove just as futile. Luckily for them and Gable, the culprit makes himself known.

HAIL SABIN!

Gable's expression changes to one filled with shock mixed with disbelief as various scattered sections begin to cheer while the remainder are unsure what's happening before them. Images appear on the screen, the first is an image of the Earth from a satellite in space, quickly zooming in on the Earth as it rapidly spins on its axis before cutting to a clip where two men are jumping off of ladders on opposite ends of the ring onto an unlucky Superstar, the filter on the clip making it difficult to decipher who the men are. We return to the original clip, this time we're zooming in across a metropolis with many skyscrapers making the skyline. Just like the clip before, it cuts to a man doubled over, recovering from what could have been an onslaught of strikes leading to the two men standing in front of the first leveling him with some sort of Superkick/Enziguri combo, the filter providing to be quite the detriment once more.

The final clip shows a shot of a statue where two men are back to back, both with their arms pointed forward in the shape of a gun, the wear and tear of the statue making it difficult to see who it resembles, before it cuts to a man being held in what appears to be a Neckbreaker as the third man scales the turnbuckle and leaps off of it before sending him to the canvas with Splash combo'd with the Neckbreaker mentioned beforehand. With that, the Titantron fades to black before the words “Hail Sabin” appear on it.

Cheers from those that remember the last time Chris Sabin was a member of the active roster fill the crowd while those that are unsure of the appeal of this renegade that's crashing Gable's celebration. The camera pans across the live audience in attendance, the handmade signs, the freshly purchased merchandise, and the newly ecstatic members of the XWL Universe all on showcase for those watching at home to witness before the camera stops and focuses on the stage, awaiting the arrival of one of XWL's newest signees.

Sabin walks out from behind the curtain for the first time in what must feel like an eternity, throwing both his arms into the air, soaking the positive energy of the live audience in attendance. He begins making his descent down the entrance ramp, slapping the hands of the XWL Universe on either side of the ramp before he ultimately reaches the bottom and begins to scale the ring steps. Now on the apron, Sabin locks eyes with Gable, who has all but dropped his guard, then shifts his attention to the Intercontinental Championship in Gable's possession. A brief internal monologue later, Sabin enters the ring, walking past Gable to retrieve a microphone from the timekeeper before taking his place across from the newly crowned Intercontinental Champion.

Before Sabin could get a word out, he spots a sign in the audience made specifically for him by what has to be a seer of some sort to predict Sabin's return. Turning his attention back to the task at hand, Sabin is almost burning a hole through Gable for a few moments before he brings the microphone up to his lips to speak.

Chris Sabin
The last time I was in this ring, believe it or not, I was fighting for that very same Championship you have in your grasp, the very same Championship you regained here tonight. While I was unsuccessful in my goal to obtain it four years ago, in defeat, I knew that the person that was in possession of the Intercontinental Championship more than deserved it.

Chris Sabin
Now here we are, four years later, and somewhere down the line, that has changed. There was a point in time where the Intercontinental Championship was the most sought out Championship in this company, even moreso than the World Heavyweight Championship and now, it has become nothing more than a shell of its former self. Where did it all go wrong?

Chris Sabin
How does a Championship as prestigious, as legendary as the Intercontinental Championship become such a travesty? At last year's Emergence Pay-Per-View, it headlined the show, it was in the Main Event, the finals of a grueling tournament named after quite possibly the great Intercontinental Champion this company has ever seen. That elevated the Championship to rival the World Heavyweight Championship like it used to but then what happened?

Chris Sabin
Samoa Joe, the most dominant participant, becomes the Intercontinental Championship. It seemed nothing more than a formality to have the match, but he's crowned the Champion and he loses it to Bobby Roode almost instantly. Then Roode decides to have an open challenge, and that's where you come in.

Chris Sabin
The young upstart with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove, you almost miraculously defeat Bobby Roode and that was the beginning of the end. You are the worst thing that could have happened to the Intercontinental Championship and when Callihan beat you at International Incident, I thought maybe, just maybe, the Intercontinental Championship would have recovered after the travesty that was your reign, but here we are.

Chris Sabin
So instead of repeating history and having the Intercontinental Championship close out Emergence two years in a row, it's here, being the opening match. I was actually coming out here to challenge Sami Callihan but seeing as you were the one that ended up with what I want, why don't I issue that challenge to you instead?

Chris Sabin
The Intercontinental Championship eluded me the last time I was here, I won't let it do that again, so here's what I'm going to do for you, Chad Gable: I don't care when, I don't care where, I want a shot at that Intercontinental Championship.

A mixed reaction fills the arena, the ones cheering want to see the match happen while the ones booing disagree with what the returning Chris Sabin has said thus far. All eyes are on Gable, who looks at his Intercontinental Championship before looking back at Sabin, raising the Championship into the air and nodding his head at the challenge standing in front of him. A simple smirk etched on Sabin's face is all that's needed before Emergence heads into a video package for XWL's next Pay-Per-View: Downpour.

Great opener really enjoyed that taco. And as for this Sabin character....

fuck off

You think you can come in here and immediately get an IC title shot? Pfffft. Classic “veteran” move. What do you think this is? The Elite title scene, more commonly known as the “jobber” scene?

But nah, I’m guessing it David but maybe not. Whoever it is this will be interesting and enjoyed this entire bit.

PostSubject: Re: XWL EMERGENCE 3/19/18-4/2/18   Sun Mar 25, 2018 12:50 pm

Tonight is the night, the night where Natalya could finally emerge as Women's Champion, a goal she's fought endlessly to attain since she was screwed out of The Divas Championship at Final Stand almost exactly 8 years ago. We see The Number One Contender walking down the halls, keeping to herself trying to not let the pressure get the best of her. Because while tonight could be triumphant, it could also be her biggest and final, failure.

2018 has been unlike any year for her thus far, she's made history in the first Buried Alive Match to include Women, she's beaten the woman that she fought for over a year to prove she could beat, in the land of her mentor Tokyo Joe. This is the 3rd Pay-Per-View of the year, and now she finds herself in The Main-Event, in a Steel Cage, battling Ruby Riot for The Women's Championship. The level of stress to succeed tonight is unimaginable, and as she continues with every step, we know she's going to be pacing these halls for the rest of the show, just anxiously waiting for the moment that will change everything, whether for good or bad, that awaits to be seen.

As she paces down the hall, she notices a figure begin to approach her from the locker room...

It's Bayley! The woman who took Natayla to her limit on Anarchy but came up short against the Number One contender. Bayley takes a step closer to Natayla who remains focused.

[Bayley]
I just wanted to say...Good Luck! I know you're getting prepared for a match that means everything to you, but it means a lot to the Womens Division as well...You stand for everything this Division should stand for, You've put in the hard work to get where you are...That's exactly what I want to do. Just like you, I've been here when this division had nothing, I've been here to see this division come to an end..but now the Womens Championship is the Main Event.. it's because of Women like you that it is where it is now.  I think I can speak for a lot of the women in that locker room when I say this Division wouldn't be the same without you, and I hope you show Ruby Riot what this division is really about.

Natalya smiles, but that smile lowers as she thinks about tonight's match, nerves setting in.

[Natalya]
That really means a lot, thank you. I'm really nervous..more than I'd like to admit, but I think it's not because I'm afraid I'll lose...I think I've prepared enough the last 8 years to deal with that. I'm just, I'm worried about what it would mean for the division. I mean, we went from April...a Champion that fought anyone and everyone, to someone that thinks every single one of us is unworthy of challenging for her title. I've let down so many people on this journey to the title, every moment it felt like it was finally going to be mine, and then I fell short...I just, I don't want to let you or anyone else down tonight. I want to be proof that YOU are enough, you don't have to be someone you're not to achieve your dreams. I just...I can't shake this feeling, this feeling that...maybe, maybe there isn't a happy ending to my story, maybe I'm not the one to change this division, maybe it's you. Maybe my downfall will motivate you to do what I couldn't. I don't know...and I don't want to think like this, I can't...not before a match as big as this, but I just can't help it. I'm scared, Bayley.

[Bayley]
This is the biggest match of your career...everything you've worked for over the past 8 years has come down to this one match..being nervous is normal, it can be what drives you  to overcome Ruby and do what we all know you can. She won't admit it, but Ruby Riot will be just as scared as you. She's put herself at the top of this division, acting like she's above everybody...tonight, once you've beat her... She loses all that. It's not just you who has everything to lose...She does too because once you prove you are worthy, one you prove you ARE better than her she'll have nothing left..She'll have nobody to bully, nobody to to try step over to get the top. Tonight IS your night, this is the moment not just you...but every XWL fan that has followed you, me included has waited for. This is OUR division, Ruby Riot is determined to hold the division hostage...but tonight, you take back OUR Division.

It's funny Natalya's done nothing but try to empower others as they chase their own success in the division, and now...as she worries about tonight, and fears the worst...here before her is someone from that division trying to empower her. Natalya obviously is touched by this, and places her hand on Bayley's arm.

[Natalya]
You know, every time someone like Sasha for example...gives into the pressure to be like everyone else, to be selfish, to be underhanded... every time a Champion like Ruby loses who she is the second The Women's Championship is around her waist...it hurts because, you know that isn't who they were when they got into this business, and you want to see them be authentic, to achieve their dreams and support them. But then, someone comes along....like you, and reminds you that hey, it might feel like I'm alone in this, that I'm fighting a battle I can't win...but I'm not. We want a division that brings out the best in one another, not the worst...and all I've wanted to do was to be the one to prove it CAN be done. That it's never too late, and...you're right, this is OUR division, and I...

The doubt that clouded her head, and worried her seems to fade as she points at herself with a bit of confidence restored.

[Natalya]
I said WE can do anything, BE anything, and I want to BE Women's Champion so that I can do incredible things for this division, so that WE can do incredible things...so that one day we can Main-Event without needless drama being the selling point, just simply our talent. You can beat the hell out of someone then shake their hand at the end, just like you and I did last week. I really appreciate your support Bayley, I was there when you were first coming up, and I know it hasn't been easy, you've been pressured along the way...but you haven't given in, WE haven't given in. And I'm not going to start tonight, I might fear what tonight will bring...but I know it's nothing WE can't handle.

[Bayley]
It's because of women like you leading the way that I've never given up, every time you've had a set back...You've come fighting back. You've given every woman in that locker room, and every young girl watching somebody to look up to....Tonight is going to show to the world that if you keep fighting for you dream...NOBODY can stop you.  This is everything you've been fighting for...and tonight, I know you can do it, I know you can achieve your dream. Then maybe one day...the main event will simply be about who's the best...and maybe one day, It'll be me versus you for the Womens Championship.

The two share a smile, Natalya starts to respond likely in a way that says she'd like that very much, but before she can Bayley quickly latches onto her, embracing her in a supportive hug. She knows Natalya has a tough task ahead of her tonight, and a hug from a friend is just what Natalya needs to calm her nerves and believe in herself one more time.

With at least one person rooting her on tonight, Natalya returns the hug, thanking Bayley for the pep talk and the unrelenting support she's shown her. Tonight's Main-Event could be the last time she competes in an XWL ring, but just like Bayley said. This is what she's been fighting for, this is why every time she got knocked down she got back up. They continue to share in a friendly hug as the cameras fade, and we know somewhere backstage The Women's Champion Ruby Riot is gagging at this display of love and respect, two qualifies she certainly hasn't embodied these past 2 months.

PostSubject: Re: XWL EMERGENCE 3/19/18-4/2/18   Mon Mar 26, 2018 7:26 am

The camera cuts to the backstage where we see Asuka shadowboxing and stretching left and right. She looks over her shoulder and Renee Young is standing next to her. She turns around to face Renee and Renee holds onto a microphone tightly. Asuka scans her up and down and then puts her hands on her hips.

[Renee Young]
Asuka, we haven’t heard from you since it was announced on Anarchy, that you’re facing TRISH... STRATUS! Out of all people, how does this make you feel?

[Asuka]
How does, make me feel? I’ll tell you, how it makes me feel. Tonight, I feel

Asuka points to herself and smiles, obviously showing that it makes her happy.

[Asuka]
I was ready for everyone, and anyone. She’s a stronger opponent than many, yes. Does that mean she can beat... ASUKA? Nooo. It's time for her to step into the ring with the empress, and impress me. Nobody is ready, not even Trish... Stratus. You can say what you want about her, she's very pretty, I mean that.. but tonight, I'll BREAK her face.

Asuka nods up and down extremely confident and Renee smiles along with her nervously then goes to speak again until she's cut off by someone who decides to crash Asuka's party. Another member of the roster. Not a woman who was looking to try and make a name for herself by the Empress or anything along those lines. It was instead a male superstar. He had a disgusted look on his face as he slowly strutted into frame behind both Asuka and Renee Young. Both women seem so confused by the sudden arrival of Chris Jericho! An awkward silence fills the interview area and Renee even goes as far to look off the screen since it was rather obvious that she wasn't ready for this. Jericho still wore that disgusted look as he scanned the Empress from head to toe before looking over at Renee Young. The Interviewer is about to speak up when Jericho snatches the microphone from her hand. It's slowly brought up to his mouth.

[CHRIS JERICHO]
Be quiet.

The Alpha then turns his attention away from Renee Young and to the other woman - to Asuka. He annoying stared at the Japanese sensation for a couple of seconds before speaking up again.

[CHRIS JERICHO]
I have a bone to pick with you. I was watching Anarchy last week. Yes, I actually watch the show unlike most of the juniors in the back who only pay attention to themselves. I watch everything. I listen to everything. I see everything. I was watching Anarchy last week and you said something that really ground my gears. I was watching you cut a promo and I was listening to what you had to say. You said something that really ticked me off. You said Anarchy... is... Asuka...

Jericho paused for dramatic effect.

[CHRIS JERICHO]
That's MY catchphrase. Anarchy is not Asuka. Anarchy is and has always been Jericho. It's been Jericho for the past ten years and what makes you think you can waltz in here, steal my catchphrase and my show, huh? HUH!?  You can't just walk in here with your stupid mask and your stupid robes and claim that this show is yours when I have spent the last ten years putting this company on the map. I have given my blood, sweat, and tears to this company in order to capture the World Heavyweight Championship seven times on my road to making this company THE company to be a part of. You're just as bad as those Bullet Club bitches. You're just as bad as AJ Styles. You're just as bad as Finn Balor... except you're worse than either of them. You steal catchphrases from legends like me... and do you know what happens when you steal catchphrases from the Alpha of this business?

The cameraman takes a step back as Jericho lifts up and object that once would draw a pop from the crowd. It's the List of Jericho! And with it came his signature pen. Jericho adjusted himself into a position where he was able to write on the paper that was on the clipboard.

[CHRIS JERICHO]
ASUKA... YOU JUST MADE THE LIST!

Jericho quickly scribbles the Empress' name onto the paper before turning to Renee.

[CHRIS JERICHO]
And then there's you. I expected better from you. You are a fellow Canadian and here you are supporting a thief who is going against another Canadian like you and I. I expected better from you, Renee, and do you know what happens when you turn your back on Canada?

Renee goes to answer but Jericho quickly cuts Renee off.

[CHRIS JERICHO]
RENEE YOUNG... YOU JUST MADE THE LIST!

Jericho once again turns to his list and quickly scribbles Renee's name onto the paper. The Alpha quickly shot his head back in the direction of the interview and with an angered look still spread across every feature, Chris Jericho continued to spit out words at her.

[CHRIS JERICHO]
I DEMAND that you give me the same respect you are giving her AFTER I beat Finn Balor and AJ Styles in our handicap match tonight. You better be the first person I see after I walk back through that curtain with my arm raised.

[Renee Young]
It's a Special Referee match. Not a handicap.

[CHRIS JERICHO]
Isn't it the same thing? I know what I'm talking about, idiot!

Jericho doesn't give Renee a chance to respond before he storms off the set which leaves Renee and the Empress standing there as we then fade off to a break before the show can continue.

We return from commercial break and the camera goes directly over to the crowd who are a lively bunch here tonight at Emergence, our pay per view. Then an image covers the entire screen and a recap of the Asuka Versus The World series is being played, first you saw Becky Lynch attempt to stop Asuka in her tracks and was put down. The match between Becky Lynch and Asuka was all about heart, as she was the heart of the women’s division over in Ireland. This next match however that is being replayed for about five seconds is Dakota Kai stepping up to the challenge. You can almost see the determination through every movement of Dakota, who also took some heavy shots from Asuka and was also put down, representing New Zealand. There was no love loss from the Empress Of Tomorrow, she was feeling the competition rise up only to be put in their place, that’s until Piper Niven came along. She was a heavy set female powerhouse who damaged Asuka enough to see the pain in her eyes, nevertheless she persisted and wound up the victor after several finisher attempts, Asuka wasn’t going to be weakened as she was ready to take them all, even the rough and tough Scotsman wasn’t enough for her.

She was on a hot streak and that brought the world’s attention to her, and a veteran in the form of Natalya rose to the occasion, feeling like she needed to prove to herself that she could hang with the ones who ruled the ring as she was too busy focusing on the Women’s Champion, Ruby Riot. The Canadian bred Anvilette, took the fight to Asuka and they were putting on what would be known in the industry as an “Instant Classic” only to be cut short by a blindsided attack from Ruby. Asuka for the first time in her entire career had the Asuka Lock broken, and that’s when she realized what she had to do next.

She came to the ring the following week, this series has gone on long enough and she wanted it all, the fight that would make her name here in XWL. She wasn’t thrilled with the level of competition besides Natalya, and she refused to compete tonight, as soon as the screen goes black and white with Asuka leaving the ring almost, saddening the XWL fanbase. You can see it light up once more, with the arrival of the woman that has vowed to bring Stratusfaction into her life, one way or another. Trish Stratus made herself known as the opponent for Asuka, and the two exchange their smiles, ready for this showdown. The package slowly fades as the camera crew now focusing on the commentary team who puts in their two cents.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Everything that has happened over the course of the last month, led to tonight and tonight is the night that Asuka either raises her claim that she’s the most polarizing female wrestler before you today, or will she will fall to the one who holds the keys to the city, Trish Stratus.

[Corey Graves]
Asuka has put herself out there, not having to prepare for each of those match-ups, and it either will benefit her in the long run, or backfire with this challenge thrown down by Stratus.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I know that you can’t make your predictions on this match, because it can go either way Corey, but i’m going to go ahead with Asuka. She has made it known that the end goal is to be the household name, the one with the merchandise, the female with the strikes that’ll make you never doubt her again.

[Corey Graves]
I wouldn’t say we ever doubted her, it’s just she’s facing Trish Stratus, have you seen how good Trish looks lately? She’s into her physical fitness times ten, and this is a dream match that you can only wish upon a shooting star for! You talk about two completely different female wrestlers who walked different paths, they are not similar in the slightest, yet they are going to lock horns for us tonight, and show who holds dominance over the other.

[Mauro Ranallo]
One question that is hanging over everyone’s head is that will Trish be ready for Asuka in such a short time game planning? Let's get onto the action, the entire arena is electric!

The lights dim instantly and all you can see is the titantron lit up in the distance, it flashes through various masks and then lands on one after skipping through at least 20 versions. The mask that is chosen is orange with 3 golden x’s on it’s side, and then one red X that is supposed to be for Trish Stratus. The mask gets closer to the screen by the second, and then the titantron shuts off.

A holographic starts to take center stage, Asuka appears behind it, wearing her long robe that is full of Japanese symbols and shines as bright as her hair.  The camera zooms in and it focuses on her not moving from the position, scanning the crowd from behind the mask, Asuka takes the air out of the room with her arms out wide and the removal of the mask, to show her war paint across each side of her face, and a smile symbolizing “Looks that could kill”. She’s enjoying herself, and is in the zone. Slipping the mask on she begins her descent.

The music picks up and she whimsically raises her arm above her head, and points to every side of the arena, walking with a purpose, one foot over the other. Dancing along to her theme music, the calm before the storm. Her attire of class and as if she owns the place with every step down the ramp. Dragging behind her the robe that resembles what a Geisha girl would wear.

Reaching the bottom of the ramp, she quickly runs up the steel steps and the robe swiftly goes off the ground and alongside the apron beside her, as she takes herself inside of the ring. Once she’s in the ring, she scales the opposite turnbuckle and places her foot on the post.

Swaying her head up and down to the tempo and rhythm of the chants breaking out in every direction, Asuka rips the mask off of her face and holds it to the side of her, biting the chain before releasing it to the ground below. Jumping down from the turnbuckle, Asuka remains focused and tossing the robe to the outside.

Asuka raises her head up high and stands in the center of the ring, as the spotlight is now directly onto the stage where her opponent will be in just a few seconds, she fiddles with her armband and clenches her fist a few times. A smirk comes across her face as she backs up to her corner with her hair falling over her eyes. The smirk still not leaving her face and the lights flash into a laugh heard in the distance.

“HE HE HE HA HA HA...

OH”

Every fan gets up out of their seat and turns their head to the top of the stage and the beginning of the theme starts with “WOAH, IT’S TIME TO ROCK AND ROLL!” They seriously cannot believe their eyes as Trish Stratus appears from the back, not wearing her usual wrestling gear. She’s wearing a short hoodie with the sleeves past her elbows and her hands are taped up, and blue denim jeans to top it all off.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Trish Stratus has arrived at Emergence, ready for a fight!

Trish thinks to herself for a moment as she stands on the top of the stage and takes in the energy from everyone around her, yelling out to her and then suddenly puts her entire fist up into the air. She’s a strong woman and tonight she fights for all women inside that ring against the Empress, that fist then turns into her pointer finger way up into the sky, and she nods her head up and down. Her signature taunt and then she trails down the ramp. Asuka beckons her in, but she ignores Asuka and makes the walk down to the opposite side of the ring, the fans embrace her and tap her shoulder a few times, telling her “You’ve got this”. She lets out a quick grin and then focuses on her opponent, not her usual happy bubbly self.

She knows that she has to keep herself calm, cool and collected if she is going to have a fighting chance against our resident empress. Trish begins to climb under the bottom rope, and uses the ropes to guide her into her own corner, and the referee checks on her wrists. Trish moves her hair to the side of her, over the shoulder and then walks right up as the referee finishes his check on each part of her body quickly.

Asuka being her sly self, and taunting Trish with a pouty face, not taking her as seriously as we all think she should. Trish puts both of her arms out, saying that she showed up and wasn’t scared. Asuka holds her hand on her tummy and lets out a slight chuckle and returns to her corner, as Trish does the same. The official looks at both of the women, and the crowd is split in half of who they want to win this contest.

We are deep into the match and we’ve seen such tenacious offense and defense from both females, Trish right now is in the grips of wrath with Asuka who has a Hammerlock locked in to perfection, she begins to push on the corner of the elbow with her palm, as the other hand is securing the wrist flat on the wing of her shoulder. You can start to see the pain across the face of Stratus who drops down to one knee after more pressure is applied.

[Corey Graves]
Trish has to find a way out of this or give up the fight, that is, if she wants to continue using that arm in the future for the rest of her life. Asuka has her right where she wants he-

As soon as Corey tries to get a word out, Trish begins to shimmy back and forth, Asuka pressing in on the lock, placing the leg in between Trish so she’s unable to move. Trish rapidly sways back and forth once more, and swings her leg over Asuka and puts her free arm out. The camera zooms in on the free arm and her fingers are nearing the ropes next to her! Asuka losing her balance from the pull of Trish, using everything in her to grab onto the top rope. Asuka being dragged along near the ropes with Trish, and she positions herself to be able to hold the ropes and keep her eyes on the mat.

Trish taking full grasp of the ropes, jumps off of the mat and springs forward, twisting Asuka’s arm along with it, Trish lands a frontflip using the ropes to her advantage, and Asuka shakes her arm up and down, and leans over checking on it. Trish comes at her with a full force elbow, not once, not twice, but three times. This is shocking to everyone, Trish has a lot left in the tank, and Trish picks up pace, running right over to the ropes.

Asuka pumps back left and goes to swing a huge leg up towards Trish on return and you can see the crowd gaze closer. This might be the end for Trish as we see the sheer quickness of the boot, Trish bends her body back in a Matrix like maneuver, which causes the roundhouse kick to miss entirely,  the flexibility of Trish, yet she forgot one thing that is important. Always keep your eyes on Asuka, as soon as she tries to come back up from the dodge, Asuka is right next to her with another strike, she’s gains her balance and grabs onto the tip of her boot and extends it back, and then lets go of the tip, after creating a bungee type effect, and takes all of the air out of Trish once it connects. Trish opens her eyes up as she’s falling straight to her back.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Asuka had to break some of her ribs with that, I don’t see it going any other way.

[Corey Graves]
Trish is wheezing and dizzy, she may have hit her head on that freefall. What goes up, must come down. She tried to be flashy and this is what happens to those who go for flash and raise the stakes, there is a probability you’ll end up hurting yourself unintentionally.

Asuka and Trish are both sweating profusely, and you can see one last stretch of energy come out of these two, Asuka goes down to grab onto a brutalized Trish, and yanks her up by her hair, rising her up to her feet, they go forehead to forehead. Trish starts to mutter to herself and then puts out one finger and tells Asuka to give her all she’s got. Asuka closes her eyes and her face goes from emotionless to a small curve of her lip, was that another smirk?

Trish woozy on her own feet still, only being up due to her hair being pulled, is about to fall as Asuka lets off of her hair. There were two hits about to happen, and it’s Trish - Asuka launches up a kick right into her temple, and Trish’s mouth opens from this, as well as the entire first row of fans. Asuka hitting Trish. And.. Trish then just falls to both knees and then face first. Trish hitting the ground. Asuka doesn’t even have to go down to pin her, because as soon as she tries. The referee calls off the match, because there is no way Trish would be able to come back from that.

[Mauro Ranallo]
The end of an era, exit a female who starstrucked the many, and welcome our very own empress.

[Corey Graves]
Asuka wanted to make a statement and she sure did, an emphatic one. You were expecting a hard hitting contest, do you blame her, this is pro wrestling and you better step up, or get knocked down.

The referee goes to check on Trish and everyone is worried for her since she hasn’t moved a single inch since the referee called off the match a minute ago. Asuka darts right over to Trish and grabs her by her upper arm and starts dragging her back up to her feet. Trish now coming to..

Asuka gives a few light taps on her cheek and then goes to exit the ring after the damage was done and she put the Canadian to rest in a star studded match up. So far this show has seen the return of Chris Sabin and it’s seen a match for the ages between Asuka and Trish Stratus.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Emergence, is what this event is called and Asuka emerged onto the scene victoriously.

Asuka taking a few more steps back to see the chaos from a further angle. She places her arm to the air and sends it towards the camera, bowing in a sign of respect. When we know full and well this is the furthest thing from respect. Asuka stops bowing and the commentary team leaves us with this.

[Corey Graves]
Is there ANYONE on this entire roster..  truly ready for.. Asuka?

[Mauro Ranallo]
I’m not sure there is, could she be eyeing the winner of tonight’s Main Event? It seems likely.

[Corey Graves]
After what we’ve seen in an intense back and forth, Asuka is unstoppable and she’s not even reached her final form.

The camera cuts back over to Asuka, showing her facing the camera with a mischievous grin...knowing that nobody truly is ready for her...she's given out chance after chance, week after week, and yet...no one has been ready, and as she starts to back up and the scene starts to close we wonder if anyone actually will be. She's been a force to be reckoned with, and thus far...her reckoning truly knows no end. She continues to back up, savoring her victory, theatrically moving her arms to the tune of her theme until...her demeanor changes, as she suddenly stops moving, and her jaw lowers in a puzzled manner...before we ourselves can even wonder what's brought this about, or she can turn around we see The Empress struck from behind with such force that she falls down to her hands and knees...and immediately the culprit is revealed.

[Mauro Ranallo]
What the hell is Alexa Bliss doing?

[Corey Graves]
Signing her death wish?

[Mauro Ranallo]
No arguments there...

While Asuka had unknowingly backed up, we come to realize that she had bumped into Alexa Bliss who stood behind her...and as we now focus on Alexa we see the growingly famous "Bliss Stick" in her hands, and a devious smile on her face. Ever since a month ago when she vengefully put Dana Brooke on the shelf and introduced the world to her own twisted idea of "bliss" along with the black kendo stick adorned with all sorts of glitz and dazzle, she's week by week proven to be more motivated than ever to reign terror on XWL's Women's Division. But as she stands over Asuka, this is taking that one step further. Someone like Alexa, at least given her previous showings in the ring, isn't a match for Asuka...but, with the equalizer, she's armed herself with, it's apparently given her the confidence to go after The Empress of Tomorrow, today.

[Corey Graves]
My god, look at Asuka...she's...she's smiling...

[Mauro Ranallo]
The woman was just struck across the back by a reinforced kendo stick, and she's getting up, smiling...I can't believe it.

Perhaps putting more faith in her weapon of choice than she should have, Alexa, watches as Asuka rises back up, and turns to Alexa with a far more devious look on her face than Alexa herself just had. Almost frozen in shock that Asuka's completely shrugged off her stiff strike, and is literally standing there with a smile that's challenging her to do it again...knowing that she can't just stand there motionless because it's only a matter of time before Asuka tries to kick her head off...Alexa grips the Bliss Stick with both hands then lets out a scream as she lashes Asuka right in the ribs, doubling her over for a moment...literally only a moment, because once a few seconds pass and Alexa starts to show the slightest bit of smugness...Asuka rises back up and shakes her head saying "Is that all you got?" With an immediate snarl, Alexa responds with another strike, this time to Asuka's arm, but she doesn't fall, so she strikes Asuka's other arm, but still, she just stands there as if it doesn't even phase her.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Well this is certainly about to backfire on Alexa...

[Corey Graves]
As a Blissfit...this pains me deeply to say but...I think Asuka's about to kill her. Like, Alexa what are you thinking coming after her? Asuka's inhuman.

"GET DOWN YOU OVERRATED CLOWN!" Alexa screams in a banshee-like manner as she swings her Bliss Stick back and wails Asuka in the ribs once more, doubling her back over, and this time she's not playing around. Immediately she strikes her back, but the first strike doesn't drop her so she connects again, then again...slowly tenderizing Asuka with every shot, furiously swinging again...and again....and again...and again until at last Asuka collapses onto the ramp and Alexa brings The Bliss Stick into the air, before crashing it down over the spine of Asuka once more for good measure. The audience is booing quite loudly at this, at first it seemed like Asuka was unphased and was about to give Alexa a serious case of regret but after over half a dozen shots from her reinforced Kendo Stick, Asuka's definitely feeling it now.

[Corey Graves]
Asuka's down!

[Mauro Ranallo]
I stand corrected...Alexa's equalizer wasn't immediate, but she's got The Empress down. But for how long? I wouldn't stick around to find out.

"Boos on top of more boos pour in, but they don't phase Alexa in the least bit, no...she's here to make a statement, and she's not finished yet. As Asuka rolls onto her back, writhing in pain, a sight that seems foreign to us Alexa has the arrogance to kneel down and place her hand under Asuka's jaw as she looks directly into the camera that's near them and starts to smile. Getting down further so that Asuka's almost resting against her, she starts to move her jaw up and down as if she were talking, and The Wicked Witch of XWL mockingly speaks for her. "No one is ready for ASUKA!!!!" screaming her name in a completely exaggerated way, Alexa Bliss starts to laugh, no..not laugh, cackle at her, clearly taking exception to that little statement Asuka has coined. But as she cackles, suddenly Asuka catches her right across the lip with a backfist with such force behind it Alexa goes literally spinning backward.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Mama Mia, what a backhand by The Empress!

[Corey Graves]
Alexa wasn't expecting that...

[Mauro Ranallo]
One might say she wasn't "ready" for it.

The audience pops instantly as Alexa is popped by Asuka and she damn near collapses from one strike. Bliss is still able to stand though, which is more than you can say for Asuka, she hit that backfist but she's still down...and as the camera turns solely on Alexa, we see her rubbing her bottom lip with a furious scowl. Looking at her index finger as she wipes her mouth, seeing if there's any blood, there's isn't...but that doesn't calm her rage...no, she looks back at Asuka and shouts "NOW YOU'RE STARTING TO REALLY BLISS ME OFF!" she picks up her Bliss-Stick, charges forward punting Asuka in the ribs with a stiff kick that rolls her back over onto her stomach, and immediately Alexa unleashes every bit of her five feet of fury in the form of Bliss Stick strikes across her back. One by one she wails on Asuka, leaving imprints of her Bliss-Stick, along with bits of glitter sticking to Asuka's skin. You can hear Asuka start to groan loudly no doubt in frustration but also pain. We haven't seen Asuka in such a vulnerable state before, the audience is both concerned and angry, booing Alexa's actions but still, they don't deter her from wailing away on Asuka as if she owes her money.

[Corey Graves]
We asked if anyone was ready for Asuka, but what we maybe should ask...is Asuka ready for Alexa? Because it certainly isn't looking like it.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Alexa Bliss completely ambushed Asuka tonight, I'd argue that doesn't prove anything.

[Corey Graves]
It proves she's not afraid of her.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Did you see the look in Alexa's eyes as Asuka completely shrugged off her first hit? That was fear, and I don't know if making an enemy of Asuka is something you want to do.

Almost possessed by her release of fury, Alexa just keeps hitting her over and over. It's a vicious sight to witness, to think that someone like Alexa Bliss who appears to innocent at first glance, has this ruthless side to her still boggles our minds. Sure we saw it with Dana Brooke, but this is almost an entirely new level than what we saw previously. With Dana, it only took a couple hits and she was down, granted she had been plowed through by Nia Jax beforehand...but Asuka, she's taken almost two dozen shots from her Bliss-Stick, red marks are all over her body, bits of glitter lined along those marks. At last Alexa connects one final time, and the sound of her Bliss Stick cracking over Asuka's back that last time echoes throughout the arena.

[Mauro Ranallo]
This is unbelievable...Asuka was just hit so many times I've lost count.

[Corey Graves]
Let's see her try to smile now.

You would hope Alexa was done, that she made her point, whatever it was...but the look in her eye, the cold yet intense expression on her face...she's not done. Having savagely beaten Asuka, she grabs a handful of her hair, yanking her head back, she's still conscious but in a great deal of pain that almost has her paralyzed from trying to fight her off any further. Alexa sits her Bliss Stick down, slowly rising back up as she allows Asuka's face to fall like dead weight on top of it...and immediately we know what wicked thing she has in store for The Empress.

[Mauro Ranallo]
No...no...she can't be...tell me she's not about to try and do what she did to Dana Brooke...we haven't seen her since...please tell me Alexa's not seriously going this far? Hasn't she done enough?

[Corey Graves]
They don't call her The Wicked Witch without reason, Mauro. For too long she was ignored, well...it's impossible to ignore her now.

The boos get louder, they all know what Alexa's thinking...what wicked plan she has in store for Asuka...and there's nothing they can do but stand there and watch as Alexa backs up, creating distance from herself and Asuka. Not to spare her from a sudden change of heart...no, she's building up momentum for her final nail in Asuka's coffin. She raises her hand up, her fingers bending inward and outward until she tightly clenched them forming a fist. With a wrathful gaze directed right at Asuka, she watches The Empress, too proud to lie there for anyone, starts to try to push up off of The Bliss Stick, to get to try to stand up to make Alexa pay for what she's done but unfortunately her pride plays right into The Wicked Witch's hand. Alexa starts barreling forward, pushing off the ramp like a launchpad into the air, and the bottom of her right boot comes crashing down onto the back of Asuka's skull, driving her face into the reinforced kendo stick, with a vicious Curb Stomp!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Oh my god! Asuka's not moving...

[Corey Graves]
I guess she wasn't "ready" for that, huh Mauro?

[Mauro Ranallo]
Oh come on, now's not the time for making jokes...Alexa just unleashed just about two dozen shots from her Bliss Stick to Asuka, and then stomped her face right into it...she crossed the line, she...I just have no words. Why? Why Asuka? Why tonight? Why would Alexa do this?

[Corey Graves]
Hey, if you have someone going around saying no one is ready for them, some people are going to take exception to that...and someone as spiteful as Alexa, was that person tonight.

Alexa's serenaded by boos as she remorselessly bends down, sliding her Bliss Stick out from under Asuka's face and starts to twirl it around clearly proud of herself, and not afraid to show it. She places her foot on Asuka's back, then gives the camera, as well as everyone watching an emphatic image of her standing over Asuka, her Bliss Stick pulled behind her neck. proudly displayed in both arms. When Alexa did this to Dana, we thought maybe Dana's bullying had led to it, and maybe in some way, it's what possessed Alexa to do such a horrible thing. But after what we just saw, after the horrors, our eyes endured...we now know that wasn't the case at all. Her unprovoked annihilation of Asuka shows how despicable of a person she really is. Satisfied with her work, Alexa tosses her Bliss Stick aside and begins to back up the ramp. Once more her finger glides over her bottom lip, reminding us that Asuka's backhand is what set Alexa off. But seeing Asuka lie there on the ramp, admiring her handiwork, Alexa grins running her fingers through her messy hair, hair that became so entangled during her onslaught on Asuka, and keeps backing up, oozing nothing but infinite cruelty over what she's done.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I don't want to say it...but, did we just watch Asuka's incredible run come to an end?

[Corey Graves]
Hey, I said it before, and I'll echo it again...hell hath nothing like Alexa's five feet of fury. Asuka had a good run, but The Wicked Witch of XWL is having an even better one.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Folks, we'll try to have an update on Asuka's condition as soon as one becomes available, all we can do is hope that we didn't just watch such an incredible performer brought to her end by an unprovoked assault.

The camera solely focuses on Alexa, not wanting to show us the sight of an unconscious Asuka as medics no doubt have already rushed to her side to treat her. Instead, we see Alexa stop just as she reaches the top of the ramp, and she takes this final opportunity to shout again in a somewhat mocking tone "NO ONE'S READY FOR ASUKA HUH?! NO, I DON'T THINK SO! NO ONE IS READY... FOR ALEXA BLISS!!" With that bold statement, Little Miss Bliss spreads her arms out, continuing to boast over what she's done as the cameras begin fade and her wicked smile is the last thing we see.

PostSubject: Re: XWL EMERGENCE 3/19/18-4/2/18   Mon Mar 26, 2018 1:28 pm

The crowed is pumped with anticipation as JBL, HBK, and Cena have all made their way down to the ring for the annual Money In The Bank ladder match. Each man having earned the chance to solidify themselves in history. All that’s left before this match can begin is Barrett to emerge from the back and join his fellow competitors, which inevitably happens.

The crowd erupts as Barrett’s music hits. He may not be the fan favorite like Cena, but he is still a highly anticipated member of this match seeing as the man he won Feud of the year with, JBL is also in this match basically guaranteeing a 5 star classic. The three men already inside the ring turn and wait for their final opponent to emerge from behind the curtain and make his descend to destiny. Barrett’s theme continues to play as there is still no sign of him. The crowd now begins to simmer down, growing impatient and confused. Where is Barrett and why is he taking so long? The music fades as the arena goes black. The titantron switches to a backstage hallway, which looks like a tornado just ripped through it. Tables crushed, game boxes flipped over, debris scattered across the floor, and laying in the middle of all the wreckage is.....

[Mauro Ranallo]
Oh my god Corey, ITS WADE BARRETT!

[Corey Graves]
I can see that Mauro.

[Mauro Ranallo]
But who could have done this? And why?

[Corey Graves]
What do you mean why? Barrett isn’t the most liked man backstage and there are plenty of men that would be willing to make a name for themselves at his expen.....

[Mauro Ranallo]
LOOK!

As Mauro yells out everyone in the arena turns back to the titantron to see two boots standing beside the beaten and broken body of Wade Barrett. The boots look familiar, yet no one can quite put their finger on who they belong to. The boots begin to move away from the “scene” and just as they move out of the frame it’s almost as if it hit everyone at once. They all realize that those boots belong to.....

.

.

.

.

.

The crowd erupts into a frenzy of boos as Barrett’s attacker emerges out onto the stage wearing the boots we all just saw. And the man standing in these boots? None other than the newest member of the Cabinet himself, D’angelo Dinero.

[Mauro Ranallo]
WHAT! But why? What does he have to gain from this?

[Corey Graves]
He just took out the competition Mauro. He’s new and making a name for himself, and now that Wade can’t compete it looks like he will be replacing him as our fourth man in this match!

[Mauro Ranallo]
NO! This can’t possibly be allowed.

[Corey Graves]
I don’t think it matters what we think Mauro, it looks like Cena and Michaels are welcoming the fight.

And Corey was right. Both Cena and Michaels are motioning for D’angelo to make his way down the ramp and join them for a fight. JBL however has a look of shock, as he obviously had no idea this was going to happen. None the less he finds it absolutely.....WONDERFUL. D’angelo looks from Cena and Michaels to JBL and begins to make his way down the ramp but as he makes it about halfway to the ring he stops? He looks to the ground and then back to Cena and Michaels with a smile from ear to ear. He shakes his head no and points to the top of the stage.

.

.

.

.

.

Without a moment to waste Aiden English emerges out onto the stage as the arena now erupts in deafening boos. Aiden smiles and takes a bow to the crowd as he now begins to make his way down the ramp. He stops next to D’angelo as the two men shake hands before D’angelo heads back ip the ramp and backstage. Aiden turns back to the ring and makes eye contact with JBL, who looks like he just shit a brick. He had no idea this was planned, but now that it has happened he couldn’t be happier. Cena and Michaels on the other hand couldn’t be more upset. For they beat Aiden for their chance to get here, and now because of an unfortunate “accident” he is allowed in the match anyways. Nonetheless Aiden continues to make his way down towards the ring.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I can’t believe this. He’s not really going to be allowed in the match is he?

[Corey Graves]
I don’t think anyone going to stop him Mauro. It looks like Cena and Michaels want him in the match to teach him a lesson. But that won’t be an easy feat seeing as JBL is in the match as-well.

[Mauro Ranallo]
So now we have a fifty percent chance of a Cabinet member winning Money In The Bank!? That’s hardly fair.

[Corey Graves]
This isn’t the kindergarten playground Mauro. Life isn’t fair. That’s why you have to MAKE things happen like The Cabinet.

Aiden makes it to the ring closet to JBL and climbs in. The two men smile and shake hands before they both look to an angry Cena and Michaels. This fatal four way may have just turned into a tag team match, the only problem is.....only one man can walk out with the Briefcase.

[Mauro Ranallo]
If Michaels hits this, John Cena is as good as done!

[Corey Graves]
Earlier in the match, we saw John Cena hit an unbelievable Attitude Adjustment off the top of the ladder, to Michaels...and now Shawn's looking for a little payback.

Cena does everything he can to brace himself for the impending neck breaker that he seems to be helpless to avoid...but as Shawn prepares to leap off, and bring The Leader of The Cenation with him...John clings to the ladder for dear life hoping its sturdy enough to save him...AND IT IS! Shawn launches off...tries to bring Cena with him, but John's position is too strong and HBK just ends up crashing and burning to the mat.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I don't believe it! John Cena might win here!

[Corey Graves]
Oh but that's where you're wrong, Mauro...look, Aiden English is literally right on Cena's heels.

As Cena's eyes gaze up at the case just inches from him...his hand starts to reach..but Aiden English grabs him by his ankle, and yanks him straight off the ladder. He lands on his feet, throwing his fists up out of instinct. But Aiden still lands a rough right hand, and Cena spins around from the force, his back now to Aiden, and that's exactly where The Drama King wanted him. He starts to grab him from behind, trying to set him up for The Director's Cut but Cena's craftiness isn't about to let that happen. He pushes himself back, which in turn forces Aiden against the ropes, then breaks free of Aiden's grasp, spins around...and with everything he's got he charges for a clothesline that sends himself and Aiden flying over the ropes, crashing to the outside.

[Mauro Ranallo]
What a clothesline!

[Corey Graves]
But they both took a nasty spill, they're both eliminated from the equation right now, and...LOOK JBL IS GETTING TO HIS FEET!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Is The Leader of The Cabinet about to be The Mr. Money in The Bank?

[Corey Graves]
Was there ever any doubt? Their plan to get Aiden in this match was genius, and now with Michaels eliminated, Aiden taking one for the team and allowing himself to be eliminated which in turn eliminated Cena...JOHN BRADSHAW LAYFIELD IS ABOUT TO WIN!

The moment JBL's hands grab the ladder, pulling himself up to his feet, the audience immediately venomously loud, this is not the outcome they want, but with everyone else down on the outside, there's nothing to stop him. He looks up, seeing the case, looks around him, makes sure that everyone else is down, and once he gets confirmation that they are...his eyes shift back to the ladder which he stares at with an arrogant smile. He knows this is his, this is his moment, his moment to potentially complete his trifecta against Zayn by ending his World reign tonight, just as he ended his Elite, and Intercontinental reigns last year. Or even better, a great way to stick it to The Bullet Club's own Dean Ambrose should he become World Champion tonight...cashing in that contract, avenging his Elite title loss to Ambrose back at International Incident, this is going to be The Cabinet's night, and he knows it. Although he's exhausted, after all a man like him isn't exactly suited for a match like this, he starts to climb the rungs, slowly but carefully. He can't afford to mess this up by slipping, he needs to reach the top while it's still ripe for his picking.

[Mauro Ranallo]
This match has been chaotic, and at first, it looked like Michaels & Cena were able to combat the blatant tag-team match this had become...but in the end, it looks like English taking Barrett's spot almost guaranteed Layfield a victory.

[Corey Graves]
The Cabinet are a well-oiled unit, they had each other's backs and that is why THE CABINET are the real winners of this match.

[Mauro Ranallo]
But it's supposed to be every man for themselves.

[Corey Graves]
Don't act like this is unprecedented. Our very own General Manager Layla alongside Michelle McCool once fought The Beautiful People in a Money in The Bank Ladder Match, if the opportunity arises...why wouldn't you seize it?

One rung at a time, JBL pulls himself up, still hurting from when Cena tossed him off this ladder almost 2 minutes ago, but the reward awaiting him at the top is far worth any amount of pain he's in right now, enough to endure it, enough to almost numb it as he gets closer and closer. Finally, his hand grabs the top rung, stepping up that final obstacle...and he's at the top. Once more his eyes look around, and still, he's safe. With his smile growing more arrogant by the second, he looks up at the case, he could grab it right now but no...he wants to savor this, he wants the boos to get louder, he wants everyone to watch as he's exactly where he said he would be. His genius has landed him right here, and this is a moment to shout it to the rooftops, that he is about to be YOUR Mr. Money In The Bank! He looks at all the disappointed and hate spewing fans and then with the smuggest look on his face says "AND YOUR NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, JOHN...BRADSHAW....LAYFIELD!" Having basked in his moment long enough, he reaches both hands up, with the chance to end Zayn's reign with the very case that it began with. Audience members at this point just want it over with, they're sick of him dragging this moment out, they just want him to pull it down so they can move on and hope he somehow fails his cash in later if that's his plan. Even us at home are like "OH MY GOD WILL YOU JUST PULL IT DOWN ALREADY LIKE SOME PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY CHEERING NOW JUST TO GET THIS OVER WITH BECAUSE MAYBE IF THEY ROOT HIM ON IT'LL GET HIM OFF THEIR SCREEN SOONER, LIKE HOW ARROGANT CAN YOU BE TO BE THE WINNER RIGHT NOW, AND INSTEAD OF PULLING IT DOWN, YOU'RE JUST MAKING US SUFFER AND WAIT WHEN YOU KNOW THAT EVERYONE ELSE IS DOWN AND NOTHING CAN STOP YOU, ESPECIALLY A GUY SPRINGBOARDING ONTO THE LADDER AND INSTANTLY HITTING A CUTTER OFF THE TOP OF THE LADDER! WAIT WHAT?

[Mauro Ranallo]
WHAT THE HELL?!

[Corey Graves]
HOW? WHO? WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!

JBL nose dives to the mat, smacking his skull off the canvas as he crashes and burns at the hands of an unknown assailant. The audience loses their shit shouting "HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!" just as quickly as they had blinked and almost missed it. The mysterious man quickly rises back to his feet and pulls his hood back to reveal...the angry face...OF MATT SYDAL!

[Corey Graves]
WHAT?! HE WALKED OUT! WHAT'S HE DOING HERE? AND WHY DID HE JUST SCREW JBL OUT OF BEING MR. MONEY IN THE BANK?!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Why? You really have to ask why? JBL forced Sydal to join The Cabinet, because of some agreement Matt never even agreed to, which JBL threated a lawsuit against XWL if Vince McMahon himself didn't give order Matt to join them! He turned XWL's longest reigning World Heavyweight Champion into a coffee-fetching, literal Golden Ticket costume wearing, underling mascot of The Cabinet! We all saw Sydal get fed up behind the scenes during the first Anarchy of 2018 and walk out. To this day we still don't know what pushed him over the edge, but we damn sure know why he just cost JBL this match.

[Corey Graves]
That was almost 3 months ago, HOW DOES THAT GIVE HIM THE RIGHT TO SCREW JBL?

[Mauro Ranallo]
I'm not justifying anyone's actions, but you don't put a leash on a man like Matt Sydal and expect him to sit there wagging his tail like a "good boy."

[Corey Graves]
He walked out, how is he even still allowed in the building! Security should be fired, then they should hire new ones and fire them too!

The entire audience is cheering at the top of their lungs excited to see Sydal back, to see him stick it to JBL by costing him this match, but before The Golden Ticket of XWL can enjoy the sight of JBL lying at his feet...suddenly the security that didn't see him hop the barricade rush the ring and Sydal uses his quickness to duck out of the ring and dash to the barricade which he effortlessly leaps back over into the crowd. They all charge after him, unsure if it's at the orders of Layla, or if they saw someone interfere and thought it was just a random fan that really didn't wanna see JBL win, and also could execute a snapmare cutter also known as The "Kruger Killer" the move that essentially ended Leo Kruger's career back at Downpour last year. As Sydal hightails it out of sight, we know he's relishing in the fact that while he may not know how this match will end, he knows it won't be JBL.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Well, that was certainly unexpected...

[Corey Graves]
REALLY? THAT'S ALL YOU CAN SAY AFTER JBL, AND THE ENTIRE CABINET WERE JUST ROBBED?

[Mauro Ranallo]
I mean everyone is down, and security is trying to catch the returning Matt Sydal after he cost JBL The Money In The Bank. What can I say?

[Corey Graves]
How about that JBL is the winner and this match should be stopped this instant.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I'm afraid that's not how it works, Corey.

While all of us try to recover from what just happened, we start to notice John Cena is stirring, he's unaware of what just happened, if the match is even still going...but as he stands up, his hands grabbing the edge of the apron, he looks and sees it...THE LADDER, DEAD CENTER IN THE RING...AND NO ONE TO STOP HIM. The crowd starts cheering for a new reason, the fact that another John is about to win, THE ONE THEY ACTUALLY LIKE. Cena takes a deep breath then rushes into the ring! But Aiden English once again grabs a hold of his leg, and just like he yanked him off the ladder, he yanks him back to the outside, and before Cena can do anything, Aiden grabs John by the back his neck, and throws him skull first into the ring post!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Mama Mia, Cena's out!

[Corey Graves]
YES! DO IT AIDEN! DO IT FOR JBL! DO IT FOR THE CABINET!

Without wasting a single second, Aiden's head turns to the ring...seeing his future right in front of him. He slides into the ring, and dashes to the ladder, he's endured a lot in this match like his fellow Cabinet brother, but he's also younger and able to take a beating and still have enough in him for this moment right here. He speeds up the ladder, reaches for the greatness that hangs above....AND PULLS IT DOWN!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Aiden English is Mr. Money in The Bank!

[Corey Graves]
YES! TAKE THAT MATT SYDAL, THE CABINET WINS, AGAIN!

[Mauro Ranallo]
If you ask me, Aiden English won...and JBL, clearly lost.

[Corey Graves]
Oh whatever, let's all rejoice for The Shakespeare of Song, and YOUR FUTURE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!

Aiden stares at the briefcase, almost not believing that he just won. Meanwhile, the XWL Universe is clearly not pleased, voicing their displeasure that a man who entered this match through such sketchy means was the one to win it.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I honestly can't believe it.

[Corey Graves]
What is there not to believe? Aiden climbed the ladder, grabbed the briefcase, and won this match for the Cabinet!

[Mauro Ranallo]
He wasn't supposed to be in the match! He's only in because his little weasel of a partner took out Barett backstage, and from that, he managed to slither his way into becoming the winner!

[Corey Graves]
What you call "slithering", I call it "taking advantage of an opportunity". And now he has a world title shot any time he wants over the next year!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Well, take advantage he certainly did, I can not fault him for a lack of trying.

Aiden English has now climbed down the ladder, and makes his way over to the timekeeper's area as quickly as he can in his current state. He snatches a microphone from a crew member and begins barking an order that the camera can't pick up. Eventually, one crew member scurries over to another table, and Aiden re-enters the ring with microphone in hand, before making his way back up to the top of the ladder. He gives some sort of hand signal to the man outside the ring, and suddenly all lights in the arena are off except for one spotlight on Aiden English, sitting atop the ladder, with Money int he Bank briefcase in hand.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Oh come on now!

[Corey Graves]
This is great!

English surveys the crowd, soaking in their jeers and disappointment at the turn of events, meeting them all with a hearty chuckle. Eventually, he turns to face the camera directly and blows a kiss into it. Afterwards, he clears his throat and raises his microphone.

{Aiden English}
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, PRESENTING YOUR MR. MONEY IN THE BANK.........

He takes a deep breath, before continuing in his signature sing-song tone.

{Aiden English}
AIDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNN EEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNGLISH!

Englihs smile and clutches his chest, before taking a small bow. As the boos reach a fever pitch, Aiden raises his new briefcase towards the camera and yells "Magnificent Performance", as the screen fades to black.

As ringside staff and officials attempt to clear the carnage of Money In The Bank from the ringside area, the camera pans from the celebrating Aiden English to Mauro Ranallo and Corey Graves at ringside.

[Mauro Ranallo]
My god, what a car wreck we just witnessed out here! Part of me has to wonder just what Aiden English, if not the entire Cabinet, can do with that Money In The Bank briefcase in hand.

[Corey Graves]
How about we wonder what Layla will do regarding Matt Sydal!? He had no purpose being out here trying to deliberately injure JBL like that!

[Mauro Ranallo]
For god's sake, Corey, the guy who just walked out with the briefcase wasn't even supposed to be in the match to start with! The Cabinet attacked Bad News Barrett backstage and Aiden English stole his opportunity! If you want to try to get someone in trouble over their own actions, let's talk about The Cabine--

Mauro suddenly stops speaking as commotion is seen to the right of the announce table. The camera slowly pans to the right to see what the cause of the sudden change in emotion is, only for the feed to cut to outside of the Staples Center, both commentators in shock at the view they're seeing on their monitors.

[Corey Graves]
What the hell!?

[Mauro Ranallo]
M-My god! Corey! That's Nikki Cross!

[Corey Graves]
I know that! But what the hell is Nikki Cross doing here!? She's supposed to be confined to that nuthouse in Colorado!

[Nikki Cross]
I'm cured, Doc...look at me. Are you proud of me, Ellie? I took all of your advice! I did everything I was supposed to! I was a good little girl for so long...and now? Now, I'm finally free...I'm finally where I belong. Not couped up in some shithole like an animal...I'm out and about...and I'm closer than any of you think.

[Nikki Cross]
I'm cured, Doctor Winters...I'm cured...I'm cured...

Nikki Cross's smile suddenly turns into a hate-filled scowl as she rips at her hair before tugging at her jacket.

[Nikki Cross]
I'm fucking cured, Eleanor! You...fucking...see...me!? Everything...is...fine! I'm fine!

[Nikki Cross]
I'm fine! I'm fine! I'm fine! I'm fine! I'm fine! I'm fine! I'm fine! I'm...fucking...fine! I! Do! Not! Need! Help!

The camera zooms out to reveal Nikki's location...and reveal that Nikki Cross is flailing about whilst on the roof of the Staples Center.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Oh...oh my god...

Nikki looks out towards the nighttime Los Angeles sky with a deranged, twisted Cheshire grin on her face, a devious gleam in her eyes as she eyes the edge of the roof, slowly approaching it.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Corey, she's--

[Corey Graves]
Jesus Christ, Mauro...she--...she's on the roof! She's above us, up on the roof of the freaking Staples Center!

Nikki drops to her knees at the edge of the roof of the Staples Center, a camera behind her showing the view over her shoulder: A drop of nearly 150 feet to the pavement below.

[Mauro Ranallo]
For the love of God, get her down from there! She might...dear God, she might...

[Corey Graves]
Oh god, Mauro...

Nikki slowly leans back into a seated position, violently rocking back and forth, a loud cackle flowing from her lips as she looks up into the sky.

[Nikki Cross]
Where are you, Doctor!? Where are you, Ellie!? Not coming to save me!? Not coming to shove more tranquilizers in me!? Come on, Doc, I thought you were supposed to help me get better!? I thought I wasn't supposed to escape out the back door and leave that shithole! Come on, where the fuck are you!? Where is the good doctor when the world needs her the most? I could get back up right now...I could leap off this roof and the whole world would sit back...sit back and fucking watch. Now, ain't that something? Ain't that just the fucking pits to realize that no one in this entire fucked up world cares about you except yourself? That no one else gives a damn about your life, even if it ended at the snap of a finger...pathetic fucking maggots.

Nikki looks across the roof, her eyes fixated upon an equipment ladder that leads back into the building as she leans back. On her hands and knees, Nikki quickly scrambles towards the ladder, giggling madly as she descends into the Staples Center.

[Corey Graves]
Where in the hell is that lunatic going now, Mauro!? What the hell else is going to happen here tonight?

After a few moments of dead air, a loud cheering is heard from a section of the audience. The spotlights head towards the crowd to reveal Nikki Cross among the XWL Universe, hands tangling themselves in her unkempt hair as she maniacally giggles to herself.

[Corey Graves]
Where in the hell is security!? Mr. McMahon mandated that Nikki Cross wasn't allowed in an XWL arena until she completed her treatment! And escaping from the nuthouse isn't anywhere close to completing her treatment!

[Mauro Ranallo]
For once, Corey, I have to agree with you, Nikki Cross is too much of a threat both to herself and to others to be in an XWL ring at all right now. Someone needs to get her and throw her out of here...and maybe even send her back to Dr. Winters.

Nikki Cross suddenly makes her way down the steps of the Staples Center, grinning madly as three security guards make their way towards her. Nikki pouts up at the security staff, turning to leave before pulling a lead pipe from inside her jacket, turning around and cracking one of the trio of security across the head with it, creating a sickening thudding sound! Nikki lets out intelligible shouts and screams as she goes absolutely ballistic with the lead pipe, bludgeoning three security guards with the blunt object before stomping her way down to ringside.

[Corey Graves]
Good god, get her out of here! She may have beaten three security guards into comas!

Nikki continues to belligerently and incoherently shout as she marches her way down into the ringside area, slamming her palms on the announce table and shouting at Corey and Mauro before grabbing the edge of the table, yanking it with her as she jerks herself backwards, sending the table crashing over on its front, scattering papers and the monitors.

Now on the receiving end of a hateful, vicious glare from Nikki Cross, Graves and Ranallo bolt, causing Nikki to simply laugh to herself before jumping to stand on Corey's chair, her hands ripping at the leather on the backrest of the chair and tearing it to shreds before more security and XWL officials make their way down to ringside, causing Nikki to quickly grab a microphone and roll into the ring.

[Nikki Cross]
Is this the best you got, Layla!? Huh!? Come on, Layla, you're a legend and the best you can bring is this!? A bunch of...a bunch of filthy rotten maggots with fancy shirts and fancy suits!? There's only one thing I want, and you and your...your hired guns!?

Nikki immediately jumps off the chair and scampers towards the top rope.

As the extra security and XWL referees and backstage staff clamor around the turnbuckle Nikki is perched on, the Psychotic Scot sticks her tongue out as she looks out towards the XWL Universe before launching her body off the top, sending everyone at ringside to the floor with a Flying Crossbody!

Bodies are strewn everywhere, not too different from Money In The Bank just moments ago as the Scottish XWL Superstar yanks at her hair, head tilting to the side before rolling out of the heap of bodies left in her wake and grabbing the microphone once more.

[Nikki Cross]
They won't stop me from getting to what I want. I want...I want it! I want XWL's most precious, precious gem all to myself. And I don't care...how I get it! Because it belongs to me! The whole...fucking...world! It belongs...to...me! And now...now it's time...for me to take it! It's time for me...to take everything back that was taken from me! I will take! Take! Take! Take! Ta-

Nikki is cut off as five members of LAPD stand behind her, the one in the middle pulling out a taser and using it to bring Nikki to the ground, howling in pain from the volts of electricity surging through her jolting body, her hands clawing at the piercing conductors shot into her arm before finally being swarmed by the officers and being placed into handcuffs. The taser's volts stop and almost immediately, somehow, Nikki Cross is flailing about like a small child throwing a tantrum in a store, kicking and scratching at the police officers who lift her up from the ground. Together, the five LAPD officers literally carry Nikki Cross away as she continues to scream and flail in their arms, shouting numerous obscenities as she's drug through the XWL Universe and out of sight. The camera pans to reveal a disheveled Corey Graves and Mauro Ranallo sitting in their chairs, looking like they'd been scared out of their minds.

[Corey Graves]
Good! Take her out of here! Throw her in jail and make sure no one can ever find the key to let her back out! That raving lunatic deserves to rot in a padded cell! What the hell is going on around here, Mauro!? Someone needs to do something about...about all of this!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Well...in any case, ladies and gentlemen, Nikki Cross has absolutely overstepped any boundaries she ever could have had as an XWL Superstar. To verbally insult our General Manager is one thing, but to put her hands on security, on XWL officials, to be uncontrollable to the point the police needed to be called and a taser had to be used? I think as much as Dr. Winters did to try to help Nikki Cross? That Nikki Cross is...is a lost cause. A lost cause that is too far gone to ever go back.

Just as Nakamura is about to bring his knee to John's face, the leader of CeNation drops down and brings Nakamura along with him with a drop toe hold. Quickly John Cena pulls Nakamura to the center of the ring and locks in the STF! The crowd come alive as Nakamura screams in agony, trying his best to inch himself to the ropes. But the weight of Cena on his back is too much and he begins to panic! Nakamura looks like he might tap when all of a sudden three men dressed in black hoodies and blue jeans jump the barricade. They quickly suround the ring and jump on the appron. Cena lets go of the hold and takesa a swing at one. The hooded figure drops off the apron before Cena can hit him. Meanwhile another one tries to enter the ring but the ref physically stops him. Cena looks enraged but that face is quickly turned to sheering pain as Nakamura launches a low blow to Cena from behind. The crowd boo and begin to chant "THIS IS BULLSHIT!". Cena drops to a knee and Nakamura waste no time running the ropes and hitting John with a devastating Kinshasa! The ref turns around to find John on his back, Nakamura making the cover

The men bare let Nakamura's song come on before storming the ring and attacking the fallen Cena. Nakamura gets the hell out of their way as they stomp Cena mercilessly. One brings Cena to his and holds his arms behind his back as the other two switch between punching him in the face and kneeing him in the stomach. There are no suplexes. No flashy moves. This is a old fashion beat down with nothing more than hard punches and harder kicks! By the end of the assault Cena's nose is bleeding and he's clearly unconscious. The man behind Cena doesn't even let him fall, he tosses Cena to the ground as if he were nothing more than a piece of trash

As the crowd is left stunned by the absolutely brutal assault that just took place the three men dressed in blue jeans and hoodies turn their attention to Nakamura. The King of Strong Style panics and backs into the corner shaking his head and pleading for his safety.

Mauro Ranallo
These men just dismantled Cena and it looks like they're about to do the same to Shinsuke!

Nakamura's outstretched hand is used to yank him to his feet hard! The crowd cheer at the sight of Nakamura about to finally get what's coming to him. After the brutal attacks on John Cena and the verbal tirades on XWL no one would feel bad if these men did to Nakamura what they just did to John Cena. Nakamura tries with all his might to pull free until...the man holding his arm pulls him into a big hug.

Corey Graves
Huh? Did I miss something here?

Nakamura's face loses its worry and instead becomes an ugly sly grin. The other men all come forward patting Shinsuke on the back as the crowd boos at the sight of Nakamura not getting destroyed. Nakamura turns his head to the ref and he screams for him to get a mic. The look in his eyes tell me the ref if he doesn't comply then Nakamura would have no problem breaking him in half. The ref meekly leaves the ring, retrieves a mic, and gives it to Shinsuke. Nakamura snatches the microphone, looking out at a sea of faces that once loved him but now hate him. He flashes an arrogant grin as he brings the microphone to his lips.

Shinsuke Nakamura
Americans...so gullible!

The crowd boo but Nakamura just eats it up. It's like he's thriving off of it. The men whse identities have yet to be revealed just stand in place patiently as Nakamura carries on.

Shinsuke Nakamura
Winning was expected. John Cena not on my level. Not anywhere near my level! The fact that John Cena in Money in the bank and not one of us just shows the bias that XWL holds against actual good talent. You want to know what real talent look like. Take off hoods guys. Show everyone future of XWL!

One by one the men slowly pull back their hoods drawing various reactions from people in the crowd. Some cheer, done boo, and some do a little of both. The first thing you notice about the one on the far right is his eyes. They seem to lack life in them. The way his brooding stare never leaves the camera in front of his face is unnerving. His hair is a mix of blue, black, and purple. He seems to be bigger then the rest of them men. Not much bigger but bigger.

The next man takes off his hood as he obnoxiously chews on gum. His oranges tainted hair and cocky attitude is familiar. He was not supposed to be seen here for a long time so imagine the shock of seeing him in an XWL ring and standing next to Nakamura no less.

And finally the final man removes his hood drawing the most reaction. He's been a face that has demanded attention as of late. He's dominated opponents. Ended a career. And is prepared to battle for dominance again. This was the last place anyone expected to see him.

Standing from right to left are Evil, Naito, and of course....Kenny Omega.

Shinsuke Nakamura
THIS IS FUTURE! I pulled the best of best from Japan and here to prove what I say a few weeks ago. Japan has best talent. It's a fact. There is no one who can strike fear into the heart of a man like Evil can. The way he breaks bodies and spirits can't be taught in XWL. He is top talent! Did XWL sign him? No. But somehow Jason Jordan has been signed TWICE in last month. Naito, a man who pushed me to my limits. One of the most charismatic wrestlers on the planet got signed. What did XWL do to him? They forced us into match together where one of us have to leave. Because there only so much diversity that America can take before they sick of it!

The crowd boo but Nakamura refuses to be drowned out by a group of people that he detest.

Shinsuke Nakamura
You boo me but it truth. America is and always will be selfish. You can't even get your act together with your own core races. If America is known for anything it's how your good at three things. Being fat, being racist, and being dumb! You have talent like Kenny Omega. A man who should be in Money in Bank match, no, should be challenging for World Heavyweight Championship tonight! I watch fatal fourway and Kenny is light years beyond JBL, Barret, and Dean Ambrose! But you don't even give him one on one match. Don't respect him enough to do that. You place him in multiman match where he lose by not getting pinned. Then you put him in a triple threat ladder match where they gang up on him. And finally...he get his one on one and right when he about to pull down what he earned...American scum, The Pope, cheat him out of win. This XWL? Land of fairness and opportunity? It's all lie. A lie that you people are fine living be we?

Nakamura points between all the men present in the ring.

Shinsuke Nakamura
We see truth. XWL's days of stealing top talent from better establishments and ruining is over. Because we are taking over. No more Cena's. No more Bullet Club. Cabinet, DX! Everyone of them will fall before our feet until we are only thing left standing!

Nakamura glares to everyone in the crowd. He slowly extends his hand behind him, handing the microphone to none other then Kenny Omega. The audience boo as Omega's serious demeanor quickly turns into a smirk after being gifted with the microphone.

Kenny Omega
You people can't be surprised, right?

Kenny looks down on John Cena's lifeless body.

Kenny Omega
John, you can't be surprised. I mean, you all had to see this coming. For years, this company has been holding down the best stars that Japan has to offer. They have been holding back true talent... and for what? So some wannabe superstars can parade around with championships that were once thought to be prestigious? For years, wrestlers who made a name for themselves in Japan have been oppressed. We have been pushed down the ladder time and time again and told that our style just isn't "entertaining" enough for the North American audience. Yet.. every single show, I see all of your generic little superstars waltz out here and perform a poor rendition of moves made famous by Japanese legends. The superstars in this company couldn't lace the boots of those legends, let alone last in the ring 10 seconds with them without having their heads ripped off! Did you people honestly think we wouldn't eventually collect ourselves and retaliate against this obvious discrimination?

The audience boos loudly now. Kenny has had enough as he disapprovingly waves of the audience.

Kenny Omega
No! Stop it! Shut your mouths! This is exactly what Shinsuke was talking about! You people have zero respect for what we have to offer. We get in this ring every show and deliver the best damn matches you will ever see in your lifetime... hell... one-hundred lifetimes and all you people do is boo us? Not just that, then you go home and hop on XWL.com to vote for some undeserving pair of people to be match of the night. I mean honestly, was Natalya versus Sasha really that good? Did Matt & Jeff have a TRUE 5-Star classic? Did JBL and Barrett really out perform me or anyone standing in this ring? The answer is no!... and it will always be NO! We are the best wrestlers in the world! We have the best matches! In Japan, we put the butts in the seats because the Japanese people know exactly what we're capable of and they appreciate us for what we are... Wrestlers. Not "entertainers", PROFESSIONAL WRESTLERS!

A majority of the audience boo Omega, while a small portion sound as if they believe Omega has a point.

Kenny Omega
We are the best and you uneducated little shits will soon learn just that. Soon you will have no choice but to respect us, just as the Japanese fans respect us. No longer are the days of your immature "entertainment" bullshit! This is professional wrestling! This isn't a fucking sitcom or some cheesy cartoon! This ring belongs to true professional wrestlers.. this ring belongs to us now. This company belongs to us now! No longer will you people mock Japanese wrestlers. We have had enough! We are going to take what is ours and there isn't a damn thing any of your little entertainers can do about it!

As Omega finishes, he looks out into the booing audience. After a few moments, he extends his arm and holds the microphone away from him. Slowly, a cold hand grabs the microphone from Omega.

King Of Strong Style, Best Bout Machine, El Ingobernable, and KING OF DARKNESS WORLD! This unit of men will showcase everything that makes strong style the best wrestling on the planet. We've done it in New Japan for years. Nakamura is a superstar in the homeland as is Naito, both men have main evented Wrestle Kingdom, as has Omega, I am a former Never Openweight Champion and a former IWGP Tag Team Champion, but the most important thing that you people will come to learn about me, is that I rule the darkness world.

XWL is about to face a rude awakening, no longer will this company be about who can "entertain" fans the most, we will change the status quo around here. Success will no longer be determined on who can sell the most t-shirts, or who's face looks better on a soda cup, success will be determined based on who are the very best wrestlers in this company, and you're looking at them right now. Competition is king, and we are the kings of competition. I will personally plunge this company and all of it's entertainment aspects straight down into the deepest and darkest depths of the darkness world, where it will proceed to fade to black.

It's too late to act for all of you, it's too late to save the world that you've been living so carelessly in because we're already here and you can't stop us now, the changing of the guard has already taken place, and the events to follow? they're already in motion and they can't be stopped. XWL is nothing, I mean, did you see what each of us did in New Japan?  that's where the real talent was, that's where the real competition did battle, but not anymore, because the real talent? the real competition? it was US! It was Nakamura, it was Omega, it was EVIL, and it was Naito. We ran New Japan, and now we'll run this company that's full of snowflakes and posers. Full of people who wish they were great wrestlers or maybe even posses this false idea that they may in fact be great wrestlers, but in reality, the only thing they're good at is blowing smoke up the right people's asses to try and get ahead around here. This place is full of cheap and pathetic imitations of great wrestlers around the world, and how is this company so successful with such frauds being the center of it's product you might ask? the answer is simple, because they pander to the people in the arenas and watching at home, which in turn means they're really pandering to the brass of this company.

The guys and gals in this company walk down the aisle and they slap hands, they kiss babies, they sign autographs, and then they proceed to step into this ring and put on this illution to all of you people that they're in ring product is somehow great, what a load of bullshit, the young lions in New Japan would slap these little piss ants silly, at least they've got some heart and fighting spirit going through their veins. The only thing that the "superstars" in this company care about is how good they look on camera, which is why the guys spend more time at the gear outfitters making sure they got the flashiest gear and it's why the gals come out dressed like half naked whores.

Those words draw an immediate and staunch backlash from the XWL Universe who begin to boo Naito out of the building which only causes him to smile more.

Wrestlers and fans alike, you're all attention whores and nothing more, all flash, no substance to any of you worthless and pathetic wastes of air. I'm here to kill off your superstars, to kill of your idols, to spit on management and their wishes for the best "entertainment product", we're gonna give you the best wrestling product you ever seen, and if you don't like it? then feel free to take it up with any of us, or all of us, it matters not to me. Matter of fact, none of you matters to me, what matters to me is 3 things, this brotherhood we've established right here before your very eyes, bringing strong style to the forefront, and killing off these frauds that have entrenched themselves within this company. It won't be an overnight process but trust me, I'll get it done, we'll get it done, and soon all those punks in the back will realize that their destiny? it lies in the unemployment line because we're gonna beat all these punks into oblivion, put them all out of jobs, and before you know it? their careers, their pathetic in ring existence as we know it will cease to exist, and maybe, just maybe, if we're successful enough, maybe we can rid this company of it's putrid and toxic "entertainment" fanbase as well and get some real "wrestling" fans that I could actually tolerate tuning into the product, now that's the dream, but one thing at a time.

Nakamura is handed the mic once more as he stares out the crowd, soaking in the moment

Shinsuke Nakamura
This is end of wrestling era. End of XWL era. We have put everyone on notice. We are the Elite of Japan. We are the unappreciated of America. You....may call us The Kyohi. Pray...we have mercy on you...

Nakamura chucks the microphone out of the ring as the crowd boos. Evil and Naito leave the ring first. Omega and Nakamura are about to leave the ring when Nakamura suddenly stops Omega. Kenny turns around to see Nakamura motioning towards Cena who is getting up. But men nod their head as they approach Cena. Nakamura drags him to the middle of the ring and backs away. Both men have positioned themselves on either side of Cena. With another nod both men charge forward. The result is Cena's head being caught in between two of the most dangerous knee strikers in the business. The knee that humbled Seth Rollins and the Kinshasa that just put away Cena meet in the middle and Cena instantly falls forward,. His shakes a few times before ceasing all movement. Both men stare at the fallen superstar before looking up at each other with malicious smiles. They exit the ring, leaving their mark not only on Cena, but all of XWL too

Oh great, ANOTHER heel faction of Cabinet wannabes. Tsk tsk tsk. When will you people learn. No one will ever match the epitome of greatness that is the Cabinet.

But fr, I welcome the new group to the future tag division.

The camera pans to a masked man in the backstage area

{CM Punk}
Christian, here we are, the night I finally rid you from XWL and show to you just what it means to be Straight Edge. See, you asked for this match to be Extreme Rules, Falls Count Anywhere so you could use the help of the Peeps in defeating me. But how is it going to feel when I beat your ass bloody in front of all your loved ones? I am going to show you exactly why I am the best in the world, and I am going to put the XWL Locker Room on notice: I am coming for the World Heavyweight Championship... so I hope everybody in that locker room has cherished their time at the top...

Punk begins to laugh sadistically as the camera pans away

{CM Punk}
Because I am now on a mission to make every superstar here in the back respect who I am, and the message I speak. I will convert every member of this company to be Straight Edge, because it is the best thing to do for this hell-hole of a place.. Now its time to go kick some ass

Spoiler:

{Mauro Ranallo}
MAMA MIA. HE JUST SENT CHRISTIAN RIGHT THROUGH OUR TABLE.

{Corey Graves}
Oh my goodness Mauro, CM Punk may have just ended Christian's career with that brutal assault. Surely he must face some sort of consequence for his actions here tonight. Nonetheless a valiant effort by both men.

Punk walks to the back, pointing back at Christian screaming "I told you so," as it pans to Layla backstage in her office

With all the chaos tonight will bring, and the stress on the shoulders of one Woman, in particular, tonight, we see the Woman herself, Natalya. Bayley gave her a much-needed show of support earlier in the evening, and she's found a quiet place backstage to try and unwind and stretch for her match later tonight in The Main-Event, she stares at the ground breathing in and out to calm her nerves.

This is only the third time ever that The Women have closed an XWL Pay-Per-View, that's reason enough to feel pressure to deliver...but in her case she has another very serious reason to not fail tonight. Because in order to get Ruby Riot to agree to defend her Women's Championship against her...she had to stake something herself. If she loses this match, there is no tomorrow, because she'll be forced to leave XWL. For 8 years she's been on a hellacious journey to become Champion once again, and while she's come close, that's all it's ever been, close...but not good enough. Her goal has been to simply prove to her fellow Women, and the world, that there IS another way. You don't have to be backstabbing, you don't have to cut your fellow Woman down, you can reach the pinnacle the RIGHT way. So tonight, as a million things race through her mind as we watch her stretch her leg out, we know the main thing on her mind is doing everything within her power to make the last 8 years not be a waste of everyone's time and investment. It can't end here...it just can't. There is something that comes to an end though. The footsteps of another person as they stop right in front of the woman who had everything on the line in tonight's main event.

A red pair of wrestling kick pads with black boots beneath them. They said something on the front but you can't make out what was said at the angle the camera was. A yellow trim to the kick pads was present as well. As the camera moves up in sequence with Natalya's eyes, we get a better view of the character. The complexion of their skin is a little darker and they had a blue pair of trunks worn with white stars and golden trim to highlight certain parts of the attire. A golden jacket as well. Has Matt Sydal made his return in the form of a female wrestler? Of course not. That's ridiculous. At this point, Natalya was more than likely wishing that was the case. The figure was revealed for those who haven't already figured it out. One of the four women who'd go on to compete in the Money in the Bank match later tonight. Sasha Banks stood toe to toe with the woman who buried her alive a few months ago. A grin was on her lips as the Boss held her hands on her hips.

[SASHA BANKS]
I'm no personal trainer or expert by any means but I think you should focus on your shoulders for a little. There's going to be a lot of weight placed on them tonight as you walk through that curtain and I'm not sure if you're ready for it. After all, despite all the high profile matches you've had, this one is your most important one. Is it not?

Sasha laughed at herself and shook her head. Was she trying to get inside of Natalya's head? Maybe she was just trying to remind her dear friend how important this match was? The more fun-loving look that she had on her face began to disappear and it was replaced with a more serious look. Her voice even matched her actions.

[SASHA BANKS]
Look. I'm just going to cut to the chase and skip all the bullcrap. You BETTER win tonight. You got that?

Natalya scoffs in response, she knows full well why Sasha wants her to win, but she's not letting it get to her like The Boss might hope it would.

[Natalya]
Oh Sasha, I'd love to say it's so nice to see you, but...well, I preferred you in a grave, covered by mounds of dirt, never having to deal with you, much less see you again. Now THAT was nice, wasn't it?

Sasha's not too amused by Natalya's words, but it doesn't stop Natalya from continuing.

[Natalya]
But don't you worry about me, losing isn't an option tonight. Not that I care to have this conversation with you, but I think it's obvious what this night means to me, and how hard it's been to get here, to continue to overcome obstacles, like you...in my way of achieving this moment. I'm not walking away empty handed, I'm leaving this building as YOUR New Women's Champion! So if you do so happen to climb that ladder, and retrieve that contract...let me give you a little advice, and I'm sorry but this is going to throw a wrench in your little "plan" for tonight. Don't even think about trying to cash in on me, it won't end well...for you.

Sasha would disagree, of course, but she decided to not bring that up any further. It was more like one of those moments where you had to wait and see if they'd happen because both of them were stubborn enough to not want to change their opinions on the possible outcome.

[SASHA BANKS]
This has NOTHING to do with the Money in the Bank. You already know my intentions and whether you win or lose tonight, I'm gonna be champion soon if I'm the one holding that briefcase in my hands. I sat in a hospital bed for a long time watching this wanna-be punk rock ragdoll expand her ego to sizes that were unimaginable and if she thinks she can just come in here and steal my thunder than I hope to God she's dead wrong. I pray to God that she's not going to be the one who ends your career. I want you to win. Not because I want to cash in on you. Not because I want to see you have that feel good moment where the tears roll down your eyes as you finally grab that championship after months of chasing it. I want you to win because I want Ruby to LOSE. Got it?

It was more of a rhetorical question because Sasha didn't give her much time to answer before she was running her mouth again continuing right where she left off.

[SASHA BANKS]
And to put all my selfishness aside, as much as I want you gone so I don't have to hear any more of that empowerment stuff, I want you here because no one pushes the women here quite like you do and I love that competition. No one pushes me to be better in that ring quite like you do and you know that just as much as I do.

[Natalya]
That's why tonight isn't just about me, it's about this division...and it's future. I don't tear down my fellow Woman, I want to bring the best out of them, for the betterment of all, not just ONE. So either The "Gatekeeper" slams the gate on me, and brings in a new standard of lowliness, and cowardice...or I stop her, and I be the light that I have tried to be for years now. I told you back when the sight of you didn't fill me with disgust, that I will be the example of what YOU can be, what EVERYONE can be. You don't have to betray your friends...you don't have to turn your back on those that supported you, you can dig your nails into the dirt and claw your way up that mountain, and it'll feel better than any shortcut you ever took!

The passion radiating off of Natalya as she stands there speaks to why so many have been a long for this ride with her. They want her to be right, to prove that there IS another way, because too often people like her, with ideals, and views of how it can be, are overcome by people like Sasha, who grow impatient and give in to the desire to be more in that moment, rather than fight the "good" fight.

[Natalya]
For some, its too late...they've made their choices, and they have to live with them. But for me, if by some chance I'm going out tonight, I'm going with my head held high knowing that I stayed true to myself, and that's a victory in itself. I didn't let this division change me, I worked hard until the very end to change IT.

The typical Natalya Neidhart was showing loud and clear. It almost made Sasha gag at this point. All the empowering nonsense and making the division better speech that she's heard time after time after time. Instead, she decided to respond with a roll of her eyes.

[SASHA BANKS]
When are you going to start doing things for yourself?

Sasha pointed out in a random direction.

[SASHA BANKS]
Don't do this for them.

She made more more of a circular motion now with her arm.

[SASHA BANKS]
Don't do this for all of us - for our division. We never asked for that.

Her arm then went forward as the Boss pointed at the number one contender's chest.

[SASHA BANKS]
Do it for yourself. Fight and become champion because that's what YOU want. Fighting for this division has got you nothing for eight years. I'm not saying to turn your back on the people but do this because you want that championship so badly. Do this for your legacy. Do this for the Hart Family. Do this for your Father. Do this for your Uncle Bret.

Sasha lowered her arm back to her side and a smirk formed on her face. The Boss took a step closer to her former best friend as she clearly had some kind of plan in her mind.

[SASHA BANKS]
A wise man once said enough is enough and it's time for a change. You're not gonna let him down again... are you?

Natalya sighed hearing every word Sasha said, until that last line...until Sasha, the woman that has openly mocked her family, and made ill remarks in reference to her Uncle Owen Hart..has the nerve to bring him up again. But instead of feeding into the reaction Sasha expects, she simply chuckles under her breath.

[Natalya]
If my Uncle's name leaves your mouth again, you don't have to worry about me "letting" you down, I'll PUT you down! What you don't seem to understand is this, you don't have to be selfish to chase your dreams. You can fulfill a lifelong childhood fantasy, without betraying those that supported you the entire way. So forgive me if I turn my nose up at your "advice" but I'm never going to be like you, I'm never going to simply think for me, and only me...because, and this is something Ruby herself doesn't seem to "get" either. Being Women's Champion isn't some accolade, it's an honor...it validates everything you've ever been through, it gives little girls hopes that they can one day do it too. I've fought for me, for them, for EVERYONE the last 8 years...and tonight isn't just my night...it's OUR night.

Her voice intensifies as you can feel every word coming straight from her heart.

[Natalya]
Even you, the woman that fills me with hatred...I do this for you, for who you used to be, for the woman that might still exist, had you had someone prove that it was possible soon enough. I told you one day it would all be worth it, every time you tried to get me to toughen up, or change along the way...I said no, one day it WILL happen, and when it does...you'll see that it's not just some dream, it's REAL. Tonight I do fight for me, I carry every failure on my back, I carry anyone that's ever been pressured to change simply because they didn't fit the typical mold. I will do this my way, to prove that next time someone's faced with a decision, next time their morals are tested, they'll stay true to themselves, unlike you.

Maybe it was the look on her face. Maybe it was the way her fist clenched into a tight ball. Who knows what it was exactly but it was ever so obvious that Sasha wasn't enjoying hearing this from the number one contender.

[Natalya]
You tried so desperately to be "The Boss" that you lost who you were...and while you may have risen from the "dead" the real Sasha is still in that hole, buried by an unhealthy obsession to be what the Women before her, told her she had to be. You had a choice then, just like I have a choice now. I could walk out there and throw away everything I've sacrificed, for one moment of greatness...or I could make every sacrifice worth it by staying true to who I am until the very end! I may be forced to leave if I don't win tonight, but no one's going to force me to be something I'm not. So as easy as it'd be to hit you right now, to make an example out of you as a message to Ruby tonight...that's just not who I am, and you're not worth it.

Natalya calmly says her last few words, then without so much of a chance for Sasha to respond, she turns away from the woman that was once her best friend, and recently her bitter rival...and walks away. That anger was still radiating off the Boss. How dare she have the nerve to say those things? Does she think she's better than her now? Sasha watched as her ex-best friend walked away and she stared so intensively at Natalya before storming off herself. Not another word said either because she knew that she might say something she might regret, or that Natalya might regret hearing. Who the hell knows with Sasha anymore. The screen fades away to the next segment of the event.

Before he even appears, Kenny Omega receives thunderous booing from the audience, not approving of being one of the men that brutally attacked John Cena earlier tonight. After a few moments, Kenny does not appear on stage.

[Corey Graves]
Well where is he?

[Mauro Ranallo]
Your guess is as good as mine, partner. He was out here earlier when he, EVIL, Naito, and Nakamura brutalized John Cena.

[Corey Graves]
Wait... I think I... Look! There he is!

We begin to hear a commotion in the crowd. Booing can be heard even louder now as we see a hooded man slowly walking through the crowd. As we get a closer look at the man, we see curly blonde and black hair spilling out from the hoodie. The hair covers the man's eyes, leaving just a sadistic grin.

[Mauro Ranallo]
After the brutal attack, how could Kenny be grinning right now?

[Corey Graves]
Is that a serious question, Mauro? This is Kenny Omega we're talking about. This man is sick in the head. During his time here, he has shown zero remorse for his fellow man. Hell, he threw Matt Hardy off a building and laughed about it!

As the man reaches the ringside barricade, he slowly unzips his hoodie. He tosses the hood back to reveal none other than Kenny Omega.

The audience continues the boos as Omega simple smirks at them. After a few seconds of basking in the hate, Omega hops the barricade near the commentary tables. Still holding onto his hoodie, Omega makes his way to the English commentary table. For a moment, he gives a cold stare toward Corey and Mauro. He gets face-to-face with Corey Graves now.

[Corey Graves]
Whoa.. whoa.. whoa! I'm just a commentator, Kenny. I don't want any trouble, alright?

Graves squirms in his chair as Omega slowly places his hoodie on the commentator's table. He backs away from Graves and continues toward the ring.

[Mauro Ranallo]
What the hell was that all about?

[Corey Graves]
I told you Mauro, this guy has a few screws loose. With him aligning with Nakamura, EVIL, and Naito, XWL is in for very dark days. All these men are sadistic individuals.

[Mauro Ranallo]
We'll just have to wait and see but for now, Kenny Omega will have to go one-on-one against Eli Drake to kick off their Best of 7 Series!

Omega climbs into the ring and performs his signature pose.

As the boos continue to rain down on Omega, he makes his way to his corner and begins preparing for the first match of this Best of 7 Series.

Eli Drake walks out onto the stage wearing that shirt he took from Kenny last week, but made some adjustments to it. The camera switches back to Kenny who is seething in anger at the first sight of Eli wearing his shirt.

[Corey Graves]

Oh you gotta love what Eli is doing here Mauro. He is trying to get into the head of Kenny Omega

Eli stops at the top of the ramp, and with his right hand points his right.

[Eli Darke]
E

points down the middle

[Eli Darke]
Li

and points to his left

[Eli Darke]
Drake.

Eli begins walking down the ramp as he makes direct eye contact with Kenny. Eli can see the anger just radiating off of Kenny which brings a smile to his face. He looks down at his shirt, and then back up at Kenny.

[Corey Graves]
Wow you can just feel the tension between these two, but is it possibly for Eli to survive Omega with his given track record?

[Mauro Ranallo]
Well the last time Kenny was in a Best of Seven it couldn't finish, because Seth Rollins got hurt by Kenny. You gotta think Kenny knows what it takes to survive, but then again he is facing Eli Drake who is one of the top tier competitors here in XWL. I say this is gonna be a good fight, but then ending is unpredictable with these two step into the ring.

[Corey Graves]
Well the last time these two fought Eli did walk out on top, but that added fuel to Kenny's anger. Which one thing is certain after these past few weeks we have learned you never wanna make Kenny made. He is a cold blood killer of careers of course. I mean ladies, and gentlemen this maybe the last time we see Eli Drake, but I hope not, because this guy has exactly what it takes to become World Champion!

Eli stops right before the ring, and turns his neck to the left then to the right. He quickly hops onto the apron, and gets into the ring. He stands in the middle of the ring, and once again with his right hand points his right.

[Eli Darke]
E

Points down the middle

[Eli Darke]
Li

Points to his left

[Eli Darke]
Drake.

Eli takes off his shirt, and throws it directly at the face of Kenny Omega. Kenny catches it, and throws it out of the ring. When we refocus on the two competitors they are in there respected corners, and finally the bell rings.

You looking for the winner??? welp...

Best keeping scrolling friend

hahaha Idk why everyone does this?

I guess it adds drama, but we both know you are not really reading this. I bet you just kept scrolling huh?

Eli stands to his feet, and raises both his hands in the air as he stands over Kenny Omega's beaten battered body.

[Corey Graves]
OH MY GOD ELI HAS DONE IT! HE HAS BEATEN KENNY OMEGA!

[Mauro Ranallo]
MAMMA MIA! It now stands Eli one, and Kenny zero.

Eli motions for a microphone, and is quickly handed one.

[Eli Drake]
Kenny where was that clean sweep that you were talking about?

Eli laughs to himself.

[Eli Drake]
You can't keep up with me! How do you expect these people to call you elite when you can't beat me? I am The Elite Superstar of XWL. Kenny, you just don't maker the cut of being elite. That is why I took your shirt, because you don't deserve to be crowned elite. I mean come on people look at me you can tell just by looking at me I should be elite. Six two. Two hundred, and thirty-four pounds with a thirty-seven vertical leap. That in its self right should tell you I am capable of a lot of things, but one thing you all must know is I am an understanding guy. So I will understand if after that ass kicking Kenny wants to back down from this Best of Seven, but if he wants to continue he better train harder to get in my league, because at this rate I will clean sweep him without breaking a sweat, and that isn't an insult that is just a fact of life..

Eli throws his mic down, and celebrates then makes his exit as we go to commercial break.

Here you go

Sami Zayn is on one knee, he slowly gets up and is handed his World Title as the fans in attendance cheer loudly for the man they rooted for.

[Corey Graves]

Sami Zayn did it! He put away Dean Ambrose

[Mauro Ranallo]

This was such an amazing match, Corey. Neither person should be disappointed. They put on one hell of a match!

The ref walks over and raises Sami Zayns hand, Sami raises his World Title high in the air, the fans start to make a commotion, Sami Zayn looks around.

[Mauro Ranallo]

Watch out Sami!

Sami is suddenly swung around to none other than Dean Ambrose, beaten and battered his tank top torn to shreds and clutching his head. Sami looks ready for a fight when Dean does something no one saw coming!

[Corey Graves]

Is Dean, is Dean offering Sami Zayn a handshake?

[Mauro Ranallo]

I think he is Corey! What a sign of sportsmanship!

Sami looks a little confused and looks around at the crowd for a sign of a yes or a no, The fans-of course cheer for them to shake hands. Sami shakes Dean's hand as they both nod to each other. Dean slides out of the ring and leaves Sami to celebrate his win. We go to a commercial break.

We go backstage to see Sami Zayn clutching his World Title, tired after his World Title Match with Renee Young by his side.

Renee

Sami, what an amazing win you had tonight. I just want to get your thoughts and see what you think is next for you?

Sami smiles a bit and repositions his World Championship

Sami Zayn|STILL World Champion

IT was a hell of a match, Renee. I'm beaten and battered and in a lot of pain. Dean took me to my limit. He decimated me with every weapon and throwing me through tables to even hitting me with an elbow from he top of the ladder to ringside!

Zayn clutches his shoulder that was recently healed and now even more recently re-aggravated.

Sami Zayn|STILL World Champion

I inflicted just as much and maybe even more damage to Dean Ambrose though, we put each other through absolute hell, but I still walked out World Champion. Like I said I would. Now as for whats next? I do-

Before Sami can finish speaking, however, we hear the all-too-familiar clearing of one man's throat, who, after the camera pans over, is revealed to be none other than the man who won the Money in the Bank briefcase, Aiden English.

{Aiden English}
What's next? Wel, truthfully, I feel this answer is rather obvious. In fact, I must admit I am rather insulted it's even in question. For you see, Sami, this time there is no one like you to cheat me out of this briefcase here, which means that at any point in time over the course of the next year, I get to challenge for that world championship you are currently holding.

Aiden stares at the world title for a second, then re-directs his attention to his briefcase, before eventually deciding to look Sami in the eyes.

{Aiden English}
You know, to be perfectly honest, in your current state, I have it in my right mind to cash in right here and right now........

Aiden English suddenly adopts a look of serious contemplation, and begins to stroke his beard, debating this possibility. At this threat, Sami quickly takes a fighting stance, just as willing as veer, even after what he just went through. However, as usual, Aiden quickly switches moods via a bellowing laugh. After his laugh dies down, and Renee Young and Sami Zayn are equally confused, English continues to speak.

{Aiden English}
My goodness, could you imagine if I actually cashed in right now after just winning? Where would the suspense be? The rising action? The drama? The tension? No no, that simply wouldn't do. So for now at least, I'll be waiting, lurking, in the shadows. But then again, how credible is a threat if you can't feel its presence? Quite the conundrum. So Sami, let me propose this to you. Tomorrow night on Anarchy, a singles match between the two of us once again, but this time with both of us in a far more prestigious place. Do you accept?

Sami chuckles, he strokes his beard as if almost mocking Aiden. Sami runs his hand along the side of the briefcase Aiden is holding, Aiden pulls it away in what almost seems like disgust.

Sami Zayn|STILL World Champion

Oh, sorry. I was just visualizing how great this case would look with an imprint of your head in beaded in the side, you know, Like when I drove your head into my briefcase? Ah, good times...You want a match on Anarchy? You got it man.

Sami sticks a finger in the air

Sami Zayn|STILL World Champion

But WHEN I win I don't want you crawling to JBL and crying about how Sami Zayn kicked...Your...ASS!

Sami Zayn walks off on Aiden leaving him to just scoff at Renee then also leaving.

Honestly guys the recent shows/ppvs haven't been bad...but this show is kicking ass. One of our best in a while. A lot of exciting developments all around. Great job to everyone that's contributed and I look forward to what's to come in the final 3 and a half days.

Insert shocking debut here

oh, there isn't one? Well, guess we should get to the match result

[Mauro Ranallo]
Liv Morgan is about to do the unthinkable, just barely one month ago she was getting the call from Layla of the huge opportunity that awaited her, to finally earn her Main-Roster spot...and qualify for Money in The Bank, and Corey, everyone's down she's going to seize another opportunity!

[Corey Graves]
I had my doubts, I thought maybe she just got lucky against Mia Yim, but...I'm eating my own words, Liv Morgan is about to have a Women's Championship anytime she wants within the next year...what an insane arrival for this spunky upstart.

With the audience's approval, Liv pulls herself up to the top rung, and her eyes light up as she sees all of her hard work she's put in to even get a permanent spot on Layla's roster, and now...not only is she a regular competitor, she's about to have an opportunity of a lifetime in her fingertips. Surveying the situation, she wants to make sure Nia isn't about to get up and tip the ladder, she's not falling for that trick again like in her official debut match...no, she's ready for anything but with Carmella digging her nails into the mat trying to pull herself up to no avail, Sasha still reeling from that kick from Liv, and Nia barely on her hands and knees, exhausted and hurt. I mean this is the woman that Liv Morgan dove off a ladder from inside the ring, to the outside, to Nia who was laid across another ladder, while Sasha & Carmella made sure she didn't go anywhere. She's been able to keep going despite all the brutal stuff she's endured...but unlike in the past, she's not going to come out of anywhere and tip things in her favor.

[Mauro Ranallo]
All she has to do now, is unhook the briefcase, and she'll be LIVing her best life as our New Miss Money in The Bank.

[Corey Graves]
Just when I thought our Women's Champion Ruby Riot was having the best debut year out of any former Female Superstar, Liv comes along and might do it in half the time of our Gatekeeper.

Cheers get louder and louder as her hand grabs the clasp, starting to lift the case out of it, seconds away from winning this match...but all of a sudden something strikes her back with such force that it doubles her over the ladder, losing her grip on the case, and immediately the camera pans out, and the first thing we see...is a black reinforced Kendo Stick, bedazzled with all sorts of glitter, the weapon that essnetially put Asuka's future into question earlier in the night...The Bliss Stick.

[Mauro Ranallo]
WHAT THE HELL? What's Alexa Bliss doing out here?

[Corey Graves]
Being a good friend, obviously.

The boos overtake the once elated cheers, as Alexa Bliss stands there, a wicked scowl on her face, obviously not taking too kindly to the way her friend has been treated throughout this match or the fact that this newcomer was about to do something so monumental for her career, while Alexa's coming up on her second and hasn't even come close. Liv tries to react, but the shocked state she's in makes her easy pickings for Alexa who strikes her again, then again, Liv's desperately clinging to the ladder...not wanting her moment to be taken from her, not like this...maybe from Nia, Sasha, or Carmella...but for someone not even in this match to threaten the future she almost began to see come to life in the seconds she was away from winning this match...she's digging deep into every bit she has left in her to endure every shot and not lose this moment.

[Mauro Ranallo]
God, this is just...this is downright disgusting...Liv Morgan is clinging to that ladder and the dream of winning this match, and Alexa's just unloading on her.

[Corey Graves]
Looks like her lashing of Asuka was a warning to the other Women, and Liv didn't heed it...

[Mauro Ranallo]
You're trying to say this is her fault for assuming that a match between 4 Women, would simply involve those 4 Women? That's ridiculous, Alexa's not in this match, she has no right to do this. To take someone's victory from them who did nothing to deserve this.

[Corey Graves]
You didn't seem to take much of an issue when Matt Sydal cost JBL earlier.

[Mauro Ranallo]
JBL did a lot of horrible things to Matt Sydal, I don't justify interference, but he wasn't some innocent that was wronged. Liv Morgan has done nothing to Alexa Bliss, unless beating her last week in The Main-Event is some horrifying act?

[Corey Graves]
Oh, how you conveniently forget that Liv Morgan has bullied Nia Jax, and spoken such awful things about this inspirational role model.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Don't you dare act like that's true, we all know Alexa made that up, Liv Morgan doesn't have a deceptive or disgusting bone in her body, all we've seen is kindness and passion.

[Corey Graves]
It's all an act, don't tell me you think she's really this sweet little girl?

[Mauro Ranallo]
I can't believe I'm having this conversation with you while this Woman is being beaten by Alexa Bliss right before our very eyes!

Despite Liv's best efforts, the pain becomes too much for her to endure, and her hands slip off the ladder, her feet buckling under her, slipping in between the rungs of the ladder...and now she's more helpless than she already was. Alexa with the vilest smirk on display stops swinging, and a new diabolical idea enters her mind. She yanks on Liv's hair, bending her back further, then places her other hand around her throat and stares into her eyes as she screams "GO ON LIV, CLIMB THE LADDER, ACHIEVE YOUR WILDEST DREAMS!" She cackles, knowing Liv's trapped, knowing she's just mocking her at this point, Liv tries to grab Alexa by her hair, anything to stop what's about to happen, but it's no use. Alexa pulls away from Liv's grasp, then with every bit of her five feet of fury she tightens her chokehold, and drives Liv down across her knee with a sickening backbreaker that just leaves Liv hanging by her legs as she screams out in pain.

[Mauro Ranallo]
God, this is...this is wrong on so many levels.

[Corey Graves]
So is bullying, maybe next time she won't make fun of Nia's weight.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I have no words to say to you right now.

With Liv taken care of, Alexa begins to dust her hands off, oozing every bit of arrogance we've come to expect from Little Miss Bliss. The audience is fed up, it's bad enough what she did to Asuka, but to then brutally assault Liv, costing her Money in The Bank...it's a far cry from the Woman we thought she was up until a month ago. She wasn't that great of a person before, but as of late she's taken that dial and cranked it up to a 10 on the wicked scale and when that wasn't enough she cranked it even higher until the dial broke off. She sees Carmella starting to get onto her hands and knees, and with the simplest of moves, she leaps up off of the mat, then comes crashing down with both feet across her back, knocking her back down. She then dusts the heels of her boots off, as if she were wiping away the "Fabulous" remains...and still she doesn't stop there. She steps out onto the apron, Sasha's making movements, perhaps her heads still ringing from that kick but she's making progress in coming to. But Alexa's not about to entertain this idea, I mean she did say that Sasha's going to bring about a real-life Walking Dead situation, and we're not too sure if she was serious or not...but again with ease and without much thought, she hops off the apron, landing both feet into the ribs of Sasha, knocking the wind out of her. Immediately Little Miss Bliss turns to see Nia and smiles at her having ensured that the other 3 Women in this match wouldn't be an issue for her for the meantime, it's now time for her friend to climb that ladder and win this match.

[Corey Graves]
The Wicked Witch making sure nobody else in this match will be an issue for Nia Jax.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I just don't see how anyone can think this is okay.

[Corey Graves]
Is it okay that in a match that is supposed to be a free for all, we've seen blatant double, and TRIPLE teaming against Nia Jax? How can anyone say THAT is okay? Alexa's just evening the odds by coming to the aid of her friend that was unjustly targeted. It wasn't fair that she was essentially competing in a Handicap Match.

[Mauro Ranallo]
That's a strategy, you have a bigger opponent, you work together to deal with them, it's allowed, they're in the match, they can team up for a common goal.

[Corey Graves]
This is also a strategy, and I think it's brilliant. Alexa Bliss might not be in this match, but she isn't letting her friend leave empty-handed. When you're friends, their successes are yours, and yours are theirs. You're happy for them, you want the best for them, and that is why Alexa is out here so that Nia Jax can get what she deserves.

The wickedness softens, and Alexa's demeanor changes from night to day. She kneels down, placing her hand on Nia's face, and she sweetly says "Nia, I'm here I told you I would be there for you, and here I am...NOW GO WIN!" but despite her kind words, and shouting, Nia's unable to get up, she's been pushed to her limit. Alexa realizes this and quickly places both hands on Nia's arm, which both hands are unable to fully wrap around her arm it's so big, but she's got a good enough grip that she starts to try and pull her up. Unsuccessful at first, she lets go, blows on her hands, rubs them together to get the blood flowing, then grabs her arm again, digging her boots into the outside mat as she grits her teeth trying to lift the woman that's practically 3 times her size. Trying her best to lift her friend up, she's not even coming close to lifting anything but her arm, and even that seems to be a struggle in itself. "COME ON, NIA!" she screams, while still trying to pull her up, but Nia's deadweight doesn't lift...instead, it pulls Alexa down, as she collapses on her butt, almost out of breath from exerting herself so much.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Looks like her plan backfired, she may have disposed of the other competitors for the moment, but if Nia can't get up fast enough then all that time goes to waste.

[Corey Graves]
Excuse you, the reason Nia can't get up is that she's gone through nearly an hour of a 3 ON 1 HANDICAP MATCH.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Not this again...

Alexa swiftly gets back up, looking at Nia, seeing that she's not in any shape to climb the ladder at the moment, she tries to rack her brain to figure out what she can do. You see the gears turning, her eyes peering to her right, directly at the still in place ladder, a ladder that Liv is still unceremoniously hanging from by her legs, in no condition to pull herself up thanks to Alexa literally almost breaking her back. Alexa's gaze turns back to Nia, concern riddled on her face, then her eyes dart back to the ring...and suddenly, as the camera zooms in further on her, we see a devilish grin appear on the face of The Wicked Witch.

[Mauro Ranallo]
What's she thinking...

[Corey Graves]
Alexa's proven to be quite calculated and smart attributes that make up for her inexperience compared to the other women...I think she's just found a loophole to this conundrum.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Why do I not like the sound of that?

Bliss places her hand on Nia's shoulder and says "Don't worry, I got this" rolling under the bottom rope back into the ring, where she lifts her head up, and eyes the Money in The Bank briefcase suspended above. She glances over at Liv and sarcastically says "Aw, hang in there, Liv!" laughing as cruelly possible before refocusing back to the ladder. The audience is catching on to her plan, the boos start to get louder, with every step she takes where she gets closer to the ladder until her hands grip both sides of it, and she takes a deep breath. Her foot lifts up, planting itself on one of the bottom rungs, then slowly she starts to pull herself up, remaining cautious due to this being a little outside of her comfort zone. I mean this ladder is almost twice as tall as she is and that's a long drop. But she's committed, she came to bat for her friend, almost literally when you think about it...and if Nia can't climb this ladder, and pull the contract down...then like a good friend, she'll do so in her honor.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Seriously? It's bad enough she interfered, NOW SHE'S CLIMBING THE LADDER AND...what? Is she going to unhook the briefcase? You've gotta be kidding me...

[Corey Graves]
Of course, she is, Mauro. When a friend is in need, you do anything within your power to help them. Nia's having a little trouble getting to her feet, so the rules say all you have to do is be the first one to get the contract...Alexa's not technically apart of this match, thus she's not the first to get it...so...

[Mauro Ranallo]
I'm pretty sure you have to climb the ladder yourself, and pull it down, yourself...

[Corey Graves]
I'm pretty sure you're wrong...

Louder and louder, the audience roars in disapproval over what they're witnessing right now. Alexa's finally at the top and her arms stretch up into the air, attempting to grab The Money in The Bank briefcase. Once she's grabbed a hold of the handle, she looks down at Liv, staring right into her eyes as she fails to pull herself up to stop her, then flashes a triumphant grin as she slips the case out of the hook, and SHE'S DONE IT. This is about the time where the bell would ring and we'd rejoice or shun the victor...but Carmella, Liv, Sasha, nor even Nia...were the ones to climb the ladder and retrieve the contract hanging above...no, Alexa Bliss an outside participant took the liberty to do that, and now...we're not even sure if the match is over or if it's continuing. This isn't like Aiden English earlier in the night because while he wasn't originally in the line-up, he was a last minute replacement and fought the match from start to finish. Alexa just came out like 5 minutes ago and turned this entire match upside down, Liv specifically.

[Mauro Ranallo]
What does this even mean...

[Corey Graves]
Alexa Bliss is proving to be a friend worth having.

With the case raised into the air, Alexa shouts "NIA! YOU DID IT!" By now Nia's pushed herself up against the apron, and her eyes open to see Alexa standing atop the ladder, waving The Money in The Bank briefcase. To Nia, this almost looks like she's been duped, that Alexa played nice, pretended to be her friend, all to get this opportunity to pull an Aiden and get in this match and in her mind win for herself...so as she starts to storm into the ring, ready to make Bliss pay, I mean let's face it she's gone through hell in this match, is she really in her right mind to realize Alexa did this all for her? As she stumbles into the ring, she gets ready to let Bliss feel her fury...when suddenly Alexa drops the case from out of the air, and Nia looks up to see the case...landing in her hands...and her jaw drops, as she realizes what's actually happening. Alexa not only interfered on her behalf, she climbed the ladder, something she wasn't in any condition to do a minute ago, and retrieved the briefcase, for her. Nia stands there in disbelief, we know it's obvious she's not been a social butterfly in her life, and probably hasn't had many friends do to being so different...and maybe she's never felt this strange feeling that's bubbling within now, a feeling of...warmth as someone did something so nice, not for themselves or for some ulterior motive...but simply for her.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I...is...does this mean what I think it means? Is Nia Jax the winner?

[Corey Graves]
The Irre-Blisstible Force is in full effect here tonight at Emergence! Congratulations Nia Jax!

A genuine human expression is on Nia's face right now, a smile...a sweetness that we're not sure if she's ever felt before now. She ...a sweetness that places her hand around the handle, staring at the case, then looks up to the top of the ladder to see Alexa staring back at her with a friendly smile in return. While these two have this touching moment between them of binding together a true friendship that many speculated was only manipulation from Alexa, the audience is booing loudly, not feeling warm and fuzzy, more so hotheaded over this robbery of Liv Morgan, Sasha Banks, and Carmella who "lost" this match simply because they didn't have a friend come in out of nowhere and act like they were apart of it. Nia walks past Liv, who you really feel sorry for in this moment because not only does she have a front row view of this disaster of a finish to an incredible match...she's still hanging by her feet from the ladder, too weak to do anything but suffer this realization that she was screwed. Nia approaches Alexa who had started to climb down the ladder, but before she makes it any further, Jax places her arm up under Alexa's knees, and lifts her away from the ladder, catching Bliss off guard, but not objecting to it, as she's hoisted onto her shoulder in a moment that's reminiscent of Macho Man & Miss Elizabeth. Except you know, a twisted version of it.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Yeah, Nia, you can thank Alexa for the fact that you have that case right now, if it hadn't of been for the actions of the appropriately named Wicked Witch, Liv Morgan would be celebrating right now, instead of hanging from the ladder. Can someone please help her, I know the bell didn't ring but let's face it this is over, and whether we like it or not Nia Jax is our new Miss Money in The Bank, so please can we spare this poor girl any more agony than she already feels? She was moments, seconds, milliseconds away from being the winner, and...it just makes me sick to see these two parading around as if they proved anything.

[Corey Graves]
I think they proved that friendship triumphs all.

While Alexa rests on her shoulder, gloating in this moment, Nia raises her other arm up with The Money in The Bank contract in hand, and it's quite the visual. Nia Jax made her debut by spoiling Liv Morgan's victorious debut match, and over a month later, she's now spoiled Liv's victorious moment yet again, all thanks to her friend Alexa Bliss. Now she's got a Women's Championship Match at any time of her choosing within the next year. Alexa raises her hand up, the back of it to the camera, then clenches it into a fist laughing at their successful evening. She possibly eradicated Asuka from competition in XWL, and now her friend Nia Jax reigns the victor of this match. Alexa said their combined fury is unstoppable...that they're The "Irre-Blisstible Force" and it's kind of hard to argue with that with the image before us right now. Nia walks over to the ropes and starts to set Alexa down onto the apron, and Alexa then places her foot on the bottom rope for Nia to exit the ring...but, someone of Nia's size doesn't exactly exit the ring like that, so she puts her finger up to correct herself, grabbing the middle rope and lifting it up while keeping the bottom down, but still not exactly an easy exit for the much larger Nia...so Alexa lets go of both the middle and bottom rope, then grabs onto the top rope with both hands and starts to squat while on the apron, in an attempt to hold the top rope down so Nia can go over it. Nia once again smiles at Bliss knowing she's truly thinking of her, then steps over the lowered top rope and onto the apron. To which the two then step off of and begin to make their way up the ramp, Money in The Bank contract in hand.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Well, I'll say one thing, I had my doubts about Alexa's intentions with Nia, but she just gave Nia Jax this match, and I struggle to see the benefit that it was to her, other than...one friend simply looking out for another friend.

[Corey Graves]
Who says you can't have friends in this business, Mauro? I think the men and women back there could learn a thing or two from Alexa Bliss & Nia Jax. Two very different women that had an immediate connection and while alone they may be very good, together....they're a force, unlike anything this division has seen in a long time.

The camera cuts to Sasha Banks who, much like Carmella was still not too sure what happened in the closing moments of the match. She thought she still had a chance to climb the ladder and win the match, become Miss Money in the Bank and go on to snatch the championship from Natalya later tonight when she (hopefully) beat Ruby Riot but she thought wrong. She slid back into the ring and when she looked up, there was no longer a briefcase hanging above the ring. It was gone. How? She never heard the bell ring. Maybe it did and she missed it but she was so sure it didn't. Her head titled back down and looked up the ramp and that's the exact moment where her heart broke

Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss were on the entrance ramp with the briefcase in their hands. The chance to have a championship match wherever and whenever you want was Nia's possession now. She didn't even begin to wonder why Alexa was out there. That was something she could figure out once she got backstage and rewatched the footage of moments that she didn't get to witness with her own two eyes.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I might not be a fan of her actions but Sasha was cheated out of this match, as were Liv Morgan and Carmella.

[Corey Graves]
Cheated? CHEATED!? Alexa Bliss did not break any rules. There is No Disqualification in a ladder match!

[Mauro Ranallo]
I get that. There are no rules in a Money in the Bank Ladder match however, Alexa had no right being out here. I believe Nia Jax had all the tools to win that match on her own and perhaps she would've! We won't know now.

Her fist was clenched so tightly and the emotions were clear. A mix of sadness but anger. Her chance was gone. The one chance she had to have an easy path back to that championship had slipped through her fingers. The pain was overwhelming as she tried to use a ladder to help her back to her feet and even that was hard on her - especially on her already injured back. Never once did she let her eyes leave the two women who held the briefcase. The anger in those brown orbs refused to acknowledge anything else around her. The fans weren't there in her mind. Neither were the other women. Nothing was there. It was just Sasha and the two of them in her own little world inside her head.

[Mauro Ranallo]
As I try to get over the shock and disappointment over how things played out. I do wonder what the prospect of Nia Jax having this opportunity means for the entire Women's Division. Someone so imposing has never held that contract, and since her arrival, we've seen her flatten anyone and everyone in her way...does The Women's Champion, whomever it might be when she decides the time is right, truly stand a chance against The Irresistible Force?

[Corey Graves]
Nia may be a newcomer in this division, but with her pure power, and a powerful friend in Alexa Bliss...someone that's able to carry her own weight as witnessed earlier in the night against Asuka...I think no one is ready for this twisted yet beautiful alliance.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I'm afraid to say you might be right. I don't like it, I'm very disappointed as a viewer to see Money in The Bank end in such a controversial and honestly unfair way. Interfering is one thing, but to climb that ladder and pull that contract down, and then simply toss it down to one of the actual competitors in the match...it just doesn't sit right with me at all.

Liv finally freed from her torture lies against the corner very emotional over this ordeal. Carmella is screeching at the top of her lungs as she realizes what's happened, I mean come she's supposed to be the thief in this match. Sasha's still staring intensely at Alexa & Nia, who proudly stand at the top of the stage, gloating in their moment. Nia once more raises her new case high into the air, as Alexa lifts both arms up extended toward the case, showcasing it along with a slimy smile over a plan being executed flawlessly. With this last image, of XWL's newest friends cementing that their union is in fact very real, and now...very dangerous, especially for whoever walks out of tonight's Main-Event as Women's Champion...we fade away to an advertisement promoting The Main-Event on the next episode of Anarchy. Pete Dunne versus Dean Ambrose for The World Television Championship.

*The words "Earlier Today" flash on-screen before footage begins to play.  Johnny Gargano is shown wheeling his suitcase into the arena.  He appears to be upbeat despite the events of the most recent episode of Anarchy.  The cameraman approaches him with an interviewer off-screen.*

[Interviewer]
Johnny!  Johnny!  Can we get your reaction to what happened on Miz TV last week?  You were embarrassed and humiliated and-

[Johnny Gargano]
Let me stop you there.  Normally, I'd agree with you.  Being knocked out live on TV in front of millions of people would normally be embarrassing.  But last week, Miz backed up everything I've said about him by doing what he did.  So to be honest, I'm ok with it.  Miz is a coward and tonight we're going to settle our differences once and for all.  I've already beaten him once, I can do it again.  And then it's on to bigger and better things for me.  I like to think I have a pretty bright future ahead of me in XWL, and even Miz believes that subconsciously.  Why do you think he's always wearing sunglasses?

[Interviewer]
Rumours have been running rife around the locker room that Miz has been trying to get a stipulation added to the match at the very last minute... your thoughts?

[Johnny Gargano]
Really? That's news to me.  But that's fine.  Miz can have whatever stipulation he wants to.  The result will be the same.  I'm a big fan of surprises so I can't wait to see what delights Miz has cooked up for me with another of his schemes.  Which, as always, will be doomed to fail.  Now if you'll excuse me I need to go and get ready.

[Interviewer]
Thanks for your time Johnny.

*The camera follows Gargano as he makes his way down a long corridor towards the locker room area before the footage comes to an end and Emergence continues...*

WRESTLING..

HAS MORE THAN

ONE

ROYAL

FAMILY

The cameras cut to the stage to see fog filling the area around the stage as the theme of Cody begins to play.

Fans begin to boo as they see Brandi Rhodes walking out on stage awaiting her husband Cody to appear on stage.

Suddenly you hear a big burst of air as we see a platform with Cody standing on it in a brown full length jacket with the American flag printed on the back rise from beneath the stage. He spins around holding a cigar in his mouth grinning as he soaks in the boos and very little amount of cheers. We can hear Cody mention something but between the Boos and his theme it is very difficult to make out what he is having to say.

Cody then steps off of the platform on to the stage ramp making his way to the ring with Brandi at his side as the boo’s continue to flow hard and strong.

When they get to the ring, Brandi goes first and enters the ring via the bottom section of ropes. Once Brandi enters, she sits on the second rope extending the amount of space Cody has to enter the ring. Cody enters the ring continuing to grin, as him and Brandi lean in lips all puckered out for a kiss.

After the kiss, Brandi exits the ring as Cody awaits his rival one last the “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne.

Instantly the cameras speed up to the top of the ramp and the theme song of The Bruiserweight begins to play throughout the entire arena, the titantron showing images of him decimating several opponents in his run on Anarchy, Pete Dunne pushes through the curtains and walks directly on top of the stage.

He stands there for a moment and then puts both of his arms up high to the sky as if he was to grab energy from the crowd, and feels it throughout his entire body. He widens his eyes as much as he can and clenches his fists, putting them on each side of his face.

[Corey Graves]
This is it, tonight is the night that Pete Dunne and Cody, settle this once and for all.

[Mauro Ranallo]
You and I both have been caught in the war between these two and the deciding factor is a match that’ll test the two’s limits and then some.

Pete charges down the ramp as fans eyeball him as he descends, and you can see Brandi on the far side of the ring, not wanting anything to do with him. A sick and twisted smirk appears on his face, as he takes the ropes in full grasp, getting inside of the ring. He rushes over towards Cody and then stops himself, cockily walking backwards into his corner. Cody makes sure the referee keeps Dunne at a distance, as we get started for this all out war.

Cody lies on the mat after being on the receiving end of that vicious elbow at the hands of Pete Dunne. Pete goes back outside the ring and drops to one knee while lifting the ring curtain as he searches for an object under the ring. Pete then looks up from under the ring smiling as he pulls another table from out under the ring and sets it up right next to the apron.

Pete reenters the ring, Cody still lying on the mat semi-conscious from the elbow shot is picked up by Pete Dunne and drug to the apron outside of the ropes and sets his sights on putting Cody through that very table he just set up with a Bitter End.

[Corey Graves]
Uh-oh, this could spell the end for Cody if Pete succeeds with this.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Your absolutely right Corey, both of these men have been through hell and back in this match so any big time move could just as easy count as the end of the match.

Just about the time Mauro finishes speaking, Pete starts to execute the bitter end when Cody rakes the eyes of Pete Dunne, temporarily blinding him.

Once Cody notices Pete is blinded for the moment, he jumps around to the back of Pete and nails Pete with a Cross Rhodes through the very table Pete Dunne had set up just minutes before.

[Mauro Ranallo]
MAMA-MIA! Cody has caught his second wind and reversed Pete Dunne sending him through the table instead, possibly securing his second win over Pete Dunne since the inception of this rivalry.

[Corey Graves]
Right Mauro, all Cody needs to do now is pin him and it’s over.

Cody jumps down and covers Pete and before the ref could get to Cody and Pete, Brandi Rhodes goes and sits on the back of Cody adding a little extra weight on the already exhausted Pete Dunne hoping to secure the victory that much more.

The Ref comes around and begins to count.

But Pete somehow manages to kick out after just a 2 count, Cody lies on the floor exhausted, confused, angered that Pete Dunne just will not give up.

Brandi stands back up after being knocked on the floor from Pete kicking out.

Pete laying on his side, starts to put his hands on the ground flat. Turning and shaking his head and grabbing at his lower back, all simultaneously. He begins to crawl towards the apron. Then securing his sights on the  ropes and Cody is laying on his back, blinking a few times. They are both looking up at the hot lights beating down on them as every second passes. Dunne pulling himself up barely, and throwing the pieces of table off his body.. He crawls and drapes his right arm over the bottom rope to keep himself up. He then stumbles off the ropes as Cody spins around up off his knee and takes it to Dunne with a knee to the gut, and another knee.. AND one more for good measure to knock the wind out of Pete who hunches over. Cody begins to pick up speed and runs into the ring. runs off to the other side of the ring, and off the ropes.

Dunne holding onto his gut one moment, and then the next he’s spiraling his entire body to a 180 and catches Cody with a forearm that reverberates off the arena walls. Cody caught with a wicked forearm that has him hanging over the rope like a sea saw. Dunne flips his hair back and then slides the pieces of the broken table he just was put through with his foot.

[Corey Graves]
Pete Dunne getting a second wind, and Cody hasn’t moved since he made a fatal error.

The Bruiserweight has swung the apron cover up over the top of Cody, mocking him. He then proceeds to bring out another table much to the shock of the crowd.

[Mauro Ranallo]
ANOTHER TABLE?!

[Corey Graves]
Yes, another table. Did you think it would stop at only a couple, Mauro?

Pete takes ahold of the table and then pushes it into the ring, and then goes down to a knee again. He pulls out a second table and does the same. Looking around for a moment, Pete thinks to himself and puts his hands at his waist, shaking his head. Walking around the ring, he flips the other apron cover up and falls to a knee.

[Corey Graves]
Pete looks like he needs to take a breathe-

[Mauro Ranallo]
Wait.. what is that, in his hands? What is this guy dragging out from under there.

Pete stands back up to his feet and has in his possession, a bag of sorts. He lifts it up next to his face and smiles with vicious intent. He rolls right into the ring with the bag and back up to his feet. He sets it down by his right foot, and begins setting up his punishment for Cody, structuring the tables right next to one another, surprisingly quickly. He slaps each table to make sure their durable and picks up the mysterious bag from the ground.

He walks over to the two tables and lifts the bag high up for everyone to see, and unwraps it and all the contents pour out.

SHINY

SHIMMERING

SPLENDID!

At least 10,000tacks fall from this bag that is as big as Cody’s head, and it covers both the tables completely, where you can barely see any wood in view. Dunne messes with them for a bit and then goes right over to Cody without hesitation. Brandi is on the outside looking in horror and she jumps up onto the apron and begs for Dunne to not do this to her husband. Dunne takes a slow walk over to her and then points back at Cody, and continues on with his plan.

Cody gets back to his senses and slips from under the apron cover, nap time was over. Using the ropes to spring off, Dunne is not letting this happen a second time and then kicks in Cody’s shin mid-flight. Cody crashes down to the mat in front of Dunne, with his head laying on Dunne’s boot. Dunne picks up Cody by his chin and then drags him over to the turnbuckle. Slapping him awake after staring him down. Dunne fixates on this moment and then lifts Cody all the way up, sitting on the top of the turnbuckle.

Cody notices where he’s at, throws rights repeatedly into the forehead of Dunne, who just keeps climbing his way up. Dunne then gets rocked by a huge shot to his chin, and he loses his grip with one arm from the turnbuckle, and begins to sway. He wails his arms over and over, trying to catch his balance and does. Cody grabs onto the arm of Dunne and Dunne reverses the grapple, and locks Cody’s arm with his own arm, and takes his middle finger, bending it upward, as Dunne gets to the top with him, using their weight on one another. Pete disabling Cody with just one finger, slides that same arm underneath to the back. Side by side they stand, and Dunne headbutts the shoulder of Cody, who just lays cradled in Dunne’s arms.

Cody lifeless in the arms of Dunne, wiggles around a bit and slides underneath him, locking his head in his armpit. In a single second, Dunne manages to get back in position and throws Cody to the air with his forearm wrapped around his neck, and they fall ten feet down into the two tables, smothered in thumbtacks. A Bitter End through both tables, did I forget to mention. THUMBTACKS!

The crowd cringes at the impact and so does everyone else in radius. Pete and Cody are laid out perfectly, for Dunne to have his body over the top of him. Their bodies are shaking and convulsing, with thumbtacks lodged into every crevice. The referee jumps down to count the pinfall.

The official tells the bell keeper to ring the bell, and Pete Dunne’s theme plays as the two pick themselves off of one another. The theme continuously is on a loop as the commentary tries to explain what just happened.

[Mauro Ranallo]
These two men went toe to toe, and they have nothing to be ashamed of. All their hatred towards one another was put into the last forty five minutes.

[Corey Graves]
They went shot for shot and Pete Dunne had a burst of energy that made him escape with the win, in brutalizing fashion as he’s known for.

Pete Dunne and Cody are starting to get back up to their feet, mimicking each other’s moment. Dunne and Cody, look at one another and pick out a few thumbtacks, bleeding from almost the same places, arms, head, back and even their legs.

the crowd cheers and chants, “That was awesome!” and roar as they put their bodies on the line tonight for victory. Pete Dunne gathers himself some more and then turns away from Cody, walking to leave the ring. We hear an echo of a voice come through the speakers as soon as Dunne bends down to exit.

Cody
Hey! Pete, you sick son of a bitch, wait.

Pete stops in his tracks as the cameras pan to Cody leaning over catching his breath sweat dripping, practically pouring off of him. He stands up and limps over just in time to meet Pete Dunne nose to nose at the ropes. Brandi rushes in to pull Cody away knowing what’s about to come next but Cody mouths to Brandi he’s got this as he is willing to accept what comes next.

Pete looks down at Cody’s hand, then back up at Cody with a confused and angry look on his face as if he can’t believe Cody would have the audacity to even think about a hand shake. A few moments pass Pete still looking confused, he finally extends his hand out meeting Cody’s as they shake.

Once the two shake hands, Cody lifts Pete’s arm up in the air as Pete balls up his fist once more touching his chin as the crowd stands and cheers.

Cody let’s go of Pete, Brandi walks around and lays a healthy slap across the face of Pete Dunne. After the slap we can hear Brandi yell “You deserved that!” Pete places his hand on his cheek and looks over at Cody as he smiles and shrugs his shoulders as the two exit the ring and head toward the back, ending their blood feud.. For now.
