LIVE FROM:  Cow Palace
San Francisco, California

DEADLINE: 4:30 P.M. EST / 9:30 P.M. GMT

-/-  News heading into tonight's show  -/-

1. A New Wave?

XWL has no shortage of extraordinary talent. The fact that this promotion is recognized as the most influential in the entire world means that superstars from all corners of the globe flock to XWL for the chance of greatness. XWL has recently acquired a handful of new talents. including Alexander Wolfe and Tetsuya Naito. These two men have very impressive backgrounds and join XWL as already established competitors. How will they fare when introduced to the best of the best? It will surely be exciting to find out.
2.   Mother Nature's Fury

Following what many believe to have been essentially a chemical attack on Sister April by Peyton Royce's posse of plants, the Women's Champ exacted revenge upon the Venus Flytrap by destroying the things she cared most about, the very plants that left her almost comatose last week. Clearly having struck a chord, Sister April now finds herself looking straight into the maw of a carnivorous plant and will be fighting Peyton for her precious championship at Emergence. April has overcome many forces to this date, can she do the same with Mother Nature?
3. The Start of a Revolution?

In last week's main event, we saw Ruby Riot and Natalya take on Asuka and Charlotte in a precursor to their Money in the Bank match at Emergence. Unfortunately for Asuka, Charlotte decided to excuse herself from the match halfway through, leaving Asuka to fend for herself. Despite being a mighty competitor, Asuka was eventually overcome and pinned by Nattie. Ruby and Natalya, who had earlier shared a bonding moment during an interview with Michael Cole found themselves standing triumphant in the center of the ring. That did not last long, however, as Riot leveled her partner with a swift kick to the chin. Will history repeat itself and show Ruby as the last woman standing? Or will fate swing back and knock her off her feet, only to see someone else stealing the victory?
4.  Clash of Personalities

Anarchy opened last week with an ill-fated episode of Miz TV featuring the four men taking part in the men's Money in the Bank match. As the Miz started letting loose with his patented insults, the other three emerged to take issue with what he was saying. It was not long before chaos ensued and fists started flying. The level of animosity between the challengers seems to be reaching it's peak, and if it does not level off soon, there will be an explosion of violence and potentially life-changing conflict. Naturally, this will make for must see competition, so don't miss it.
5. It's Almost Time

Over the past few weeks, matches from the HBK Classic have been taking place as the superstars vying for a shot at the vacated Intercontinental championship wage war in hopes of securing one of the the two final spots at Emergence. The challengers have been pouring out everything they have in the grueling tournament, knowing that they might not have this opportunity again. Once the field is narrowed to the finalists, all pleasantries will have been long crushed, leaving only the primal instinct to survive and to destroy your opponent. This will be a historic moment for the world of wrestling; who's name will be etched into the tomes of the best once all is said and done?

XWL Anarchy opens up on an image of the ring. With one week away from Emergence, everyone knows what is about to happen. The contract signing. In the middle of the ring sits a table, with a clipboard and contract sat in the middle of it. On either side of the table is a chair and at the head of the table, facing the camera is the one and only Corey Graves.

[Corey Graves]
Ladies and Gentlemen, if I could have your attention please. It is now time for the contract signing between AJ Styles and John Cena.

With that, Graves lowers his mic, eyes turning to the stage as the first of the two's theme hits sending a pop throughout the arena.

The intro comes to a damatic end in mere moments as the man himself, John Cena comes rushing out onto stage, arms extended with a smile across his lips. He looks around to the crowd, most of them cheering him as he sinks it in.

Cena takes a moment, pumping up the crowd before turning to the camera, speaking directly to it.

"This is about to be good."

He says before backing up and taking his place center stage. He stands at the top of the ramp, moving to the position of attention before brining his hand up in the form of a salute. He salutes the ring then takes off in a sprint. He slides into the ring after making it down the ramp, jumping to his feet. He takes a moment to readjust himself before rounding the table, grabbing the mic left for him.

[John Cena]
Don't worry, I won't make this long.

He says, fixing his hat as the crowd hushes for him. He takes a moment, looking around.

[John Cena]
Since the moment I walked back into XWL I've had this shadow lurking over me. It's watched my every step and made me slip up, quite a bit. That shadow's name is AJ Styles.

The crowd boos for him, minus the marks in attendence. Cena takes that in.

[John Cena]
Love him or hate him, facts are facts. He's one of, if not the best wrestler on the roster today. But AJ Styles, he's a coward. For months on end he has dodged facing me direclty and now, now I get my chance. Because in one week, ONE WEEK

[John Cena]
I get the chance to go up against AJ Styles in a one on one match and I'm going to shut him right on up. The reason I say this now? Because I'm sure, just like all of you are sure, that he isn't going to come out from behind that curtain alone. He's going to walk out here with his Club, and then I'm not going to be talking much more after that. So, I got mine out of the way. Come get yours, AJ.

Cena drops the mic on the table, causing it to make a loud thud, the crowd popping for Cena who stands with his eyes glued to the stage where AJ Styles should appear any moment.

Cena isn't forced to wait long as the theme of the Phenomenal One would hit just moments after he had dropped the mic. The sound of AJ's theme causes the crowd to rise from their feet and boo the leader of Bullet Club as loudly as they possibly can, some small pockets of the crowd rise to their feet and cheer on the Phenomenal One, some even going as far as to hold up Bullet Club flags and P1 signs, but that doesn't change the obvious, there are far more Cena supporters here tonight than there is AJ fans, Cena has successfully managed to rally the Cenation behind him for this contract signing, but will he be able to do the same at Emergence when AJ Styles and John Cena FINALLY go one on one in their highly anticipated singles bout? that has yet to be seen.

The only thing people are seeing right now is the leader of Bullet Club stepping out onto the stage with a huge smile on his face as he stares into the eyes of thousands of members of the XWL universe who are currently booing him out of the building. AJ tugs on his leather jacket to for the proper fit and proceeds to make his way down the ramp and towards the ring. Cena keeps his eyes locked on AJ and AJ does the exact opposite as he antagonizes fans on both sides of the ramp on his way down to the ring, going as far as to taking a "U Can't C Me" Cena supporters sign and ripping it to shreds right in front of the teenage girl who had held it just seconds beforehand. AJ gets right in the girls face and mouths off to her (That's your crush? it's a shame you got poor taste young lady cause your crush is gonna get CRUSHED at Emergence!) AJ laughs to himself before turning his attention away from the now saddened teenage girl and he then proceeds to walk up the steps and enter the ring. AJ takes position on his side of the table and picks up the mic allocated to him on the table in front of him before taking his seat in the chair and placing both of his feet up onto the table, the Phenomenal One seemingly looks as if he doesn't have a care in the world right now.

(AJ Styles)

Well I'm here John!!!! and as you can see, no Bullet Club to be found, just me and you, one on one, face to face, man to man. You see John, I'm getting sick and tired of this false representation of AJ Styles. People seem to have this idea these days that I can't win a match without Bullet Club by my side, or I can't roam the back without Bullet Club protection at all times, and to be quite frank John, it's all bullshit, none of it is even close to the truth and if people would get their heads out of their asses they would already understand that these rumors, these accusations are just complete bullshit.

Majority of the XWL Universe feels that the accusations against AJ Styles are indeed warranted and factual but AJ and the small section of his fans and BC fans in general would staunchly disagree with that sentiment.

(AJ Styles)
I am the best wrestler on this planet today, just because I've taken it upon myself to resurrect the most dominant faction in XWL history does not mean that I need Bullet Club to babysit my every move. I organized the best group of talent in XWL today and I put the pieces to seemingly complicated puzzle together with a snap of my fingers. Me, Luke, and Karl, we go way back, so that part was easy, same with Finn, we were part of the original crew, Finn Balor is many things, he can play any role he wants within BC, a leader, a solider, a demon, the man has many layers, but his most important trait is his loyalty, the guy bleeds Bullet Club and that's loyalty that money can't buy, that's loyalty that only a band of brothers share. Dean and Sami, those are 2 of the most out of their mind sons of bitches I've ever met, but they're also 2 of the most loyal soldiers I have at my disposal, they'd literally go out there and carve a guy up for me, all I gotta do is say the word, and I'd do the damn same for them, because at the end of the day, we're a family, but when you mess with us? when you declare war on Bullet Club? then you not only get the Bullet Club family, you get double trouble cause you're gonna be dealing with the Bullet Club army, and ya never know just how many tricks and surprises that general Styles may have up his sleeve.

AJ cops a sneaky smile leaving this entire XWL Universe to wonder just what surprises and tricks he may have at his disposal.

(AJ Styles)
I'm sure you stand there and you think to yourself "I didn't come here for storytime with Bullet Club AJ Styles Edition". but I'm explaining all of this to you for a reason, and that's to prepare you for what's to come at Emergence. Bullet Club is family, we're brothers, but this battle is not for them to fight, it's for ME to fight and it's a battle that I will fight alone, and WIN alone. At Emergence, me and you finally step into this ring and go to battle one on one, no Miz, no Maryse, just AJ Styles and John Cena, so lemme ask you this John, are you prepared for your world to come "clashing" down right before your eyes at my hands?

Cena takes a moment, almost smirking in response to Styles. He slowly reaches back out, bringing the mic into his hand. He takes a second, letting the crowd chant. Cena looks around at them using his free hand to clean out his ear making sure he's hearing the almost defeaning "Let's go Cena, AJ STYLES" chants going back and forth across the crowd. Cena then raises his mic, speaking into it.

[John Cena]
I expected something a little bit more intimidating than a pun from you but I mean, it is what it is I guess.

Cena shrugs, smirking at Styles who doesn't seem amused by John's jokes.

[John Cena]
You see, it's funny that you call yourself a solider because every solider I've ever met has an immesurable amount of heart inside of them. They put their lives on the line to defend their country and the people in it. They give up their freedom, just so we can have ours. But you, your Club, you're just a bunch of thugs and bullies. You beg and claw at your chances and do what only works for you. Hell, you made them sign you the most ridiculous contract in history just so you can wrestle every once in a while and you still haven't won. AJ, I wear a set of dog tags around my neck, representing each and every member of our armed forces, some of which I call some of my very best friends and don't you dare for a second compare yourself to any of them because just one of them have more balls than your entire posse put together.

Cena's smirk disappears as Styles gains one, nodding in response to what was said, taking it in with an attitude.

[John Cena]
That goes double for the women willing to step out on the front lines, changing the way a nation looks at them while all you want to do is walk around and demand respect? Earn it first, kid.

The crowd erupts for Cena while AJ looks around, kinda with an attitude of "really?"

[John Cena]
See AJ, you got a hell of a lot of talent. I'll be the first to say it. But each and every time you've claimed that you're worth taking a look at you've had to cheat your way to get there. You had to shred a calf, or hit someone from behind just to feel like you could win. To seal the deal. See, I ain't about that. I'm about going toe to toe, face to face. Hustle, Loyalty and Respect. You got one down, or so you say, how about you learn the other two.

[John Cena]
I don't trust you dude, and I realize every person in the crowd and those watching at home realize that someway, somehow, AJ Styles is going to find a way to make his odds just a little bit better come Emergence. It's smart, I don't blame you. But it also shows just how much of a coward you have been. This is your chance AJ. This is your chance to finally prove just how phenomenal you are. But this is also my chance, to put you in your place and prove that I am the FACE, THAT RUNS THE PLACE!

Cena, hot as fire right now lowers the mic, almost shaking with energy as he allows Styles a moment to think over what was said.

(AJ Styles)
NO JOHN, NO!!! Once again YOU got it all completely backwards, this is YOUR chance to prove just how damn good YOU are. You walk around here and people throw your name and status around about as much as a $10 hooker, but when the John Cena status wears away over time from these starstruck idiots known as the XWL Universe, then what the hell is really there? I'll tell you what's there, NOTHING!!!

The crowd lets out an oooooooooohhhhhh as they know business is about to pick up, these 2 are spitting pure fire at each other now and things have to reach a boiling point eventually right?

(AJ Styles)
You're all flash and no substance John, you've been back for what 5, 6 months now? and just what the hell have you done around here in that time other than be MY BITCH!!! At Downpour you got ko'd when I drove my forearm through your skull like a hot knife through butter and pinned your ass to the mat for the 3 count, is that your claim to fame around here as of late John? getting pinned by AJ Styles? Is that your shining moment of 2017? if it is? then it sure as hell doesn't surprise me, you need ME to make you relevant around here John because the truth is you ain't done a damn thing around here other then toss your t-shirt into the crowd every night kiss a bunch of babies.

AJ paces around his side of the ring before continuing.

(AJ Styles)
So understand this John, the weight? it's not on my shoulders at Emergence, it's on your's. You're the one with EVERYTHING to prove, you need to prove to the world that you're not just some washed up XWL superstar turned half ass celebrity, you're gonna step into this ring at Emergence trying to summon the super Cena of old, and I got news for ya pal, it just ain't gonna happen. There will be no miracle's at Emergence, no Rocky like story that has some fantasy style happy ending, at Emergence the only thing awaiting you John Cena is the best professional wrestler in the world and a much needed reality check for you, and that reality check will come in the form of making it very clear to you of where your position is in this company, and that position is and always will be BENEATH ME YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!

AJ runs his hand through his hair as this crowd is completely invested in this thing now, some people ooooooooing at the fire AJ's dropping and others boooooing the BC leader out of the building.

(AJ Styles)
You're not the face of that runs this place John Cena, you're the ASS of this company and your mouth is like a sewer, the only thing that flows through it and comes out of it is CRAP! All of your beliefs, everything you stand for at the end of the day is a clear representation of what you really are John, about as FAKE as your fiance's tits....

That hit a nerve as Cena steps forward, Corey Graves steps in, reaching out and putting his hand on Cena's chest, stopping anything from imploding. John takes a moment, nodding before backing up and taking hold of the pen. He reaches down and signs contract before shoving it over to Styles. He takes a step back as Styles nods in agreeance, signing the contract as well. As soon as he does Cena throws the chair on his side of the ring out of the way. Cena rips off his hat, throwing it out into the crowd, followed by his shirt. He takes that and throws it right at Styles. It hits him and bounces off as Cena holds out his hands.

"Let's do this then."

That comment about Cena's fiance apparently didn't do AJ any favors as John seems pretty content with opening up a brawl right here, right now. AJ just smirks and nods his head, as if he's telling himself "okay Cena, you wanna throw that shirt and mess with AJ Styles, then bring it on". AJ bends over to grab the pen and proceeds to sign his name on the dotted line of the contract. AJ holds the contract up and mouths off to Cena "At Emergence, you CAN'T SEE ME John (AJ does the U can't see me taunt right to Cena's face), because I'll be the one on a whole nother level above you BITCH!"

AJ drops the mic causing it make a thunderous thud upon impact with the mat and the two men share an intense staredown with one another as the crowd watches on in silence, if they weren't invested in this matchup before this contract signing? then they sure as hell are now. The two bitter rivals continue their epic staredown with one another and that leads Anarchy into it's first commercial break of the evening, who will come out on top in this match 5 months in the making, will it be the leader of the Cenation John Cena? or will it be the Phenomenal leader of Bullet Club AJ Styles? The XWL Universe eagerly await the answer to that question and they'll get it at Emergence.

As we return from commercial break, we see the words..

EARLIER TODAY

..in the bottom left corner of the screen. We see XWL newcomer, Tetsuya Naito. He stands outside the Cow Palace arena, leaning agaisnt a brick wall. As he begins to speak, English translation appears at the bottom of the screen.

Tetsuya Naito
"私は最終的にここにいる。 私はついに、世界で二番目に優れた国、アメリカにいます。 今夜、私はXWLでデビューする予定です。 私は世界のトップにいなければならない、世界の最高のレスラー、内藤哲也にアメリカの聴衆を紹介する準備ができて...しかし、何かが正しくありません。"
("I am finally here. I'm finally in the second best country in the world, the United States. Tonight, I am set to make my debut in XWL. I should be on top of the world, ready to introduce the American audience to the best wrestler in the world, Tetsuya Naito... but something isn't right."

Tetsuya Naito
"この国のすべての都市のうち、サンフランシスコでデビューしていますか? なぜ誰かがここにデビューしたいのですか? さあ、ロサンゼルスはそれほど遠くない。 もしそれが私に任せていたら、今夜のショーをキャンセルし、別のより大きい都市のためにそれを再スケジュールします...しかし、私は何を言わなければいけないのですか。 私は結局町の新しい人です。"
"Of all cities in this country, I'm debuting in San Francisco? Why the hell would anyone want to debut here? Come on... Los Angeles isn't that far away. If it were up to me, I would cancel tonight's show and reschedule it for another, greater city... but who cares what I have to say. I am the new guy in town after all.")

Tetsuya Naito
"これは私がここで非常に成功する理由の一つです。 XWLのスーパースターは私のことをよく知らないし、自分の能力を過小評価するだろう。 彼らは小さなアメリカのバブルで閉じ込められています。 彼らは彼らの仲間とレスリングのアメリカのスタイルだけに精通しています。 彼らは...単純です。"
("Which is one of the reasons I will be very successful here. The XWL superstars are unfamiliar with me and will underestimate my abilities. They have been trapped in their small American bubble. They are only familiar with their peers and the American style of wrestling. They... are simple minded.")

Tetsuya Naito
"一方、私は過去数年間、彼らのすべての最後のものを見てきました。 私は彼らのスタイル、彼らの傾向を研究しました。 私は彼らの強みと弱点に注目しました。 私は彼らの誰も私のために同じことをしていないという事実を知っています。 私が先週の発表時に言ったように、これらのスーパースターは決して私のような人と競い合ったことはありません。"
("Meanwhile, I have been watching every last one of them for the past few years. I've studied their styles, their tendencies. I've taken note of their strengths and weaknesses. I know for a fact that none of them have done the same for me. Like I said during my announcement last week, these superstars have never competed against someone like me.")

Naito raises his hat toward the camera, revealing the logo of his Japanese stable.

Tetsuya Naito
"それについては十分です。 真のレスリングファンは先週、私のグループ、Los Ingobernables de Japonに何が起こるかを尋ねてきました。 派閥はうまく生きていますが、私がXWLにいるように見えると、他の誰かが日々の操作に目を留めています。 しかし、...将来的には西洋の拡大が起こる可能性があります。 もしそれが起これば...まあ...物事はここでおもしろくなるだろう。"
("Enough about that. True wrestling fans have been harassing me for the last week, asking me what's going to happen to my group, Los Ingobernables de Japon. The faction is alive and well, but seeing as I'm in XWL now, someone else will be keeping an eye on the day to day operations. Although,... there could be a western expansion coming in the future. If that happens... well... things are going to get interesting around here.")

Naito winks into the camera before looking up at the blue California sky.

Tetsuya Naito
"そのカメラを私の顔の外に出す。 私は今話し終わった。"
("Now get that camera out of my face. I'm done talking for now.")

As the pre-recorded video fades to black, XWL Anarchy transitions to it's next segment.

As Anarchy returns the camera pans into "The Cabinets" locker room. JBL is sitting in a leather chair, wearing a blue suit and cowboy hat. He has a cigar in his hand and a cell phone in the other. He seems to be on the phone with someone.

$JBL$

Yes that perfectly fine.....

JBL takes a puff of his cigar as the person on the other end of the call says something.

$JBL$
Don't worry about it Randal, I can handle myself here, you just focus on getting back this Sunday for your match with ELI. He and Barrett will both pay for what they've done.

Randy Orton begins to speak but it can't be made out what he says. JBL takes another puff of the cigar.

$JBL$
Alright Randal, I'll see you Sunday...

JBL ends the call and places the phone on the table before him. And suddenly like clockwork a knock begins on the door. JBL not even having to say anything makes his way to the door before opening it.

As soon as he pulls the door open, a fist comes flying through the door, connecting with JBL's face. JBL goes staggering backwards, bumping into a chair which causes him to fall and essentially sits down into the luxurious white leather seat. The assailant is unsurprisingly Bad News Barrett. Barrett follows up with a boot to Layfield's chest, sending both him and the chair toppling backwards. Before JBL can even react to the attack, Barrett is already over him. To his right is an ornate mahogany table. Barrett looks over and slides most of the stuff on top off the table onto JBL, including a crystal decanter of what is likely very expensive scotch. As the decorative pieces come crashing to the floor around him, JBL begins to scoot himself backwards along the floor to avoid the onslaught. There is a taxidermized duck further along on the table that Barrett grabs and throws at his victim. The look on Barrett's face as he does this is a look of pure rage, more so than what we have seen previously. JBL continues scooting back and Barrett looks down, seeing the cigar on the floor that JBL has now dropped. He bends to pick it up and takes a puff of it before flicking it at it's previous owner.

-Bad News Barrett-

You think it's funny do you? You sic some rented goons on me for "assault"? You want to see an assault? I'll show you what that word really means you weasel. GET UP!

Barrett lets the shocked JBL get to his feet before grabbing him by the collar and throwing him into the nearby wall, knocking a large oil painting to the ground. He then picks the painting up and smashes it onto JBL's head. JBL crawls to a door on the rear side of the room and manages to open it before struggling to his feet and exiting. Barrett follows, and as he enters tjhe subsequent hallway JBL, who has managed to get to his feet, grabs Barrett and throws him into the wall leaving a torso sized hole. JBL begins to move as quickly as he can down the hallway, holding his body in pain as he does so. Barrett pulls himself to his feet and gives chase as JBL rounds a corner.

As Barrett turns the corner, stalking his prey, we see that they are now in the backstage interview area. JBL is leaned up against the wall facing away from Barrett and trying to catch his breath. We also see that Renee Young in preparing for an interview with the Royal Family. Broken Matt and Brother Nero are in front of the camera and the King is animatedly speaking while Renee appears flustered.

Barrett sees JBL and bellows at him, causing JBL to start moving again. Barrett does not want him to escape again and begins running at him, spearing him from behind. Their bodies go crashing into Brother Nero, taking him to the ground along with them.

Renee Young
OH MY GOD! What is happening??

She quickly steps backwards to get out of the way of the scuffle while the Broken King looks on in wide-eyed amusement. Brother Nero pushes the two off of him and JBL uses this to his advantage, delivering a couple right hands of his own before getting to his feet. Once he does, he performs a few stomps onto Barrett in an effort to get him to stay down. Barrett rolls onto his stomach to protect his vital areas and JBL continues the stomping on his back and neck. JBL grabs a hold of Barrett's arm and begins to drag him away from the interview area.

Once he gets to a door marked LOCKER ROOM he lets go to open it. As he does so, Barrett gets on his hands and knees, wraps his arms around JBL's thighs, and pushes forward driving him through the open door and into a locker on the other side. A loud crash echoes throughout the room and The Miz and Bobby Roode come walking around a locker in the background to see what the commotion was. Barrett and JBL begin grappling on the floor, smashing into everything as they do so. JBL pulls Barrett up to his feet and begins to push Barrett backwards, similar to a defensive lineman rushing bull rushing the tackle to get to the quarterback. They come uncomfortably close to hitting The Miz and Roode who step back to avoid it.

Bobby Roode
DON"T MESS UP OUR NICE JACKETS!

JBL and Barrett crash into yet another locker, causing it to fly open and someones personal effects go all over the floor. Barrett takes control of the momentum and puts JBL's arm into the open locker before slamming the door shut on it. JBL recoils in pain and jogs through the Locker room exit. Barrett takes off after him.

The Miz
Well that was roode.

The chase continues through another hallway before ending up in the facility's underground parking lot. Barrett catches up to Bradshaw and again engages him, interchanging fists and knees, eventually leading to them smashing into a black SUV and knocking the side view mirror off. Barrett grabs JBL's head and begins to smack it off of the drivers side window before irish whipping him into a car opposite of them. JBL goes careening over the hood and into the windshield which shatters. Barrett backs up and gets into position to hit JBL with the Bullhammer. Before he can, a chair bounces off of the back of his head, knocking him to the ground. Virgil then comes running into the frame, dropping the chair and pulling JBL off of the car. He helps carry him to the JBL Limo and puts him into the back seat before getting into the drivers seat and fleeing the parking lot. The camera swings back to Barrett who is back on his feet and holding the back of his head.

-Bad News Barrett-
YOU ARE MINE JBL! YOU CAN"T RUN AT EMERGENCE!

Barrett grabs the chair that was dropped and starts smashing it off of the hood of the car in anger as the camera fades out.

We come back as we have a familiar sound blast through the arena

BURN IT DOWN

The fans go crazy for Seth Rollins as he walks out onto the stage. He has a mic in his hand and is wearing a "Burn It Down" shirt.

Mauro
Here we go Corey! Seth Rollins made his return last week and made quite a statement!

Graves
I love this guy! So exciting to watch in the ring!

Seth makes his way to the ring mic still in hand, he climbs into the ring and soaked in all the cheers from the crowd as he begins to speak.

Seth Rollins
Hows everybody doing tonight?

The fans cheer louder as Seth smiles

Seth Rollins
Thats good to hear, now last week I came out here and talked a bit how I want to have a better run here in XWL, how I want to be the best but, it seems I wasn't clear enough...

Seth's face loses a smile

Seth Rollins
I want the Intercontinental Championship....

Seth sticks one hand in the air

Seth Rollins
Now I know I'm too late for the tournament, but, I want to let everyone who's participating know. I do not care who wins the Championship. I will come for you and I WILL take your Championship from you... It's not a matter of if but when I become Champion I will finally give it the prestige it hasn't had since that stupid piece of crap JBL got a hold of it. I will defend it with the honor it deserves and I will defend it against anyone and everyone because to me, that Championship means so much more to me that the World Title. I remember Shawn Michaels defending that Championship with pride, ever since that I've always had a special place in my heart for that title and I promise when I win it I will uphold all the integrity Shawn did.

The fans cheer for Seth's respect for the Championship

Seth Rollins
I don't expect to just be handed a shot though, I want to prove I deserve a shot! So I'm challenging ANY Tag-Team part of the roster or Free Agents that want to prove themselves by facing me in a handicap match!

Seth extends his arms and waits

Graves
Ohhhh man! This should be good!

Mauro
TM-61! These two men have dominated the indy scene all over the world! Seth is in for a Challenge!

Seth gets a smirk on his face and nods acknowledging the challenge TM-61 charges the ring and slides in, they motion for the mic, Seth shrugs and tosses them his

Shane Throne
WE ARE TM-61!

The fans cheer for TM-61 as they know their accomplishments

Shane Throne
We have wrestled all the greats all around the world!

Nick Miller
But now we're here to make our selves known to XWL!

Shane Throne
Because we are THE MIGHTY!

Nick Miller
And THE MIGHTY

Both
DON'T KNEEL!

They throw down the mic and get ready for a fight

A Look at Chad Gable

The camera comes across a backstage area where we see the newest signee to XWL, Chad Gable, sitting in a chair. He looks past the camera, at who we would assume is the interviewer and begins to speak.

"My name is Chad Gable. I am from Minneapolis Minnesota and I love wrestling."

Gable cracks a smile as a song starts in the background, carrying on behind his voice.

[Chad Gable]
For most people, when they think of wrestling, at least where I'm from they think of what I did throughout highschool. When I was in highschool, I signed up for the amateur wrestling team. We met on a Wednesday night, around 5 in the mat room and that was the first practice I had had, and it near killed me.

Gable chuckles, remembering his first practice for the school. He takes a moment, thinking it over.

[Chad Gable]
It came naturally to me, honestly. The mat game, the moves, the endurance. I gained all of it really quickly, or so my coach thought. I was starting varsity freshman year and that, that doesn't usually come so easy.

Gable laughs again, out loud at the thought of him getting on the team with the first go. The camera changes, moving to Gable jogging down a road, hoodie on. He looks focused, running down a street which isn't seeing much activity outside of him.

[Chad Gable]
It was October the first. We were all sitting in the mat room, which was near the gym and through the wall we could hear the crowd chanting and cheering and singing the school songs. It was unnerving. My buddy looked over at me, he wasn't dressed out as he was a back-up and we just didn't need him that night and he goes, "Are you nervous?" and I look back and I go, "Nah, I don't really care."

We see Gable as he gives another smile but this one, isn't nearly as happy. We go back to another area, this time Gable walking into a gym. On the floor is a wrestling mat. A single spotlight dropped down on it. The rest of the gym is dark as Gable looks around the gymnasium, the echo of the crowd haunting him.

[Chad Gable]
And at my first ever home match, I lost. When I went back to the bench, my coach looked at me and he asked, "how much training did you do outside of the room?" I responded, "None" and he simply said, "That's why you lost. Your heart wasn't in it."

Gable can be seen, doing push-ups and sit-ups, getting a workout in on the mat while his voice carries on over the airways.

[Chad Gable]
In that moment, I made a choice. I made the choice that I was going to be the best wrestler, in the room. That changed to in the county. Then to the state. Then to the country. Then one day, I decided I wanted to be the best wrestler in the world. And before I knew it, I was standing, this kid from Minnesota, on a mat respresting the United States of America.

[Chad Gable]
This was a dream come true. I'm all about my pride in being an American. In London, 2012, I got my chance to prove it. To prove to the world that I was the best on the mat. Are you guys gonna show pictures from that? Show the one of the suplex. That one looks sick.

[Chad Gable]
I didn't earn a medal. It still bugs me. But, it is, what it is. It doesn't mean I didn't want to go again. Of course I wanted to. But that training, for once every so many years. It just wasn't what I wanted. I felt empty doing it. When I had a match every week, back in college and high scool, I was motivated and happy. Once that constant competition was gone, I lost my motivation. Someone came along, and they took my place. So I had to find a new one.

Gable smirks again.

[Chad Gable]
That. That is when it hit me. When I was ten years old, my dad turned on the television to a promotion at the time called the WWF. He turned it on at the perfect moment because Shawn Michaels and Bret "The Hitman" Hart were standing in the ring, with a timer down in the bottom corner of the screen. The classic sixty minute iron man match at Wrestlemania 12. To me, this was magical. So I thought to myself, "Why don't I do that?"

[Chad Gable]
I found my motivation and my heart once again and I gave training everything that I had for it. I continuously put my name out there and eventually I get a call from one Vince McMahon. He tells me that he has a chance for me to show my talent. Come out to his new training facility and give it all I had. A few weeks later, I was in the workings to becoming an XWL Superstar.

The music comes to an end, a new one taking over.

[Chad Gable]
Shinsuke Nakamura.

A quick clip of a vicious Kensasha to one of Nakamura's opponents flashes across the screen as his theme plays on.

[Chad Gable]
One would ask, "Gable, are you nervous?" And the answer to that is no. I'm not nervous. I'm excited.

The moment of Nakamura appearing on the titantron the week before comes across the screen now.

[Chad Gable]
I was promised competition. I want to show the world what I can do. I want to show the world that Chad Gable isn't just some Olympic has been. I want to show everyone, Everyone, that I can hang with some of the best in this industry. I want to be the next Bret Hart, the next Shawn Michaels. And Nakamura, that's one hell of an introduction to the business. I'm not nervous, I'm excited because I realize he's one of the best in the world and I'm going to get exactly what I came for.

It flashes back to Gable, nodding in excitement.

[Chad Gable]
At Emergence, everyone is going to see exactly why I belong here.

The theme song comes across the arena, the intro bringing the lights to a dim. The lights all take a spin, pointing to the stage as the titantron lights up with images of a mask. The owner of said mask stepping out from behind the curtain, rolling her arms as the crowd cheers for her. Asuka stands on the stage, moving to her music as commentary takes over.

[Corey Graves]
Mauro that is one dangerous woman right there.

[Mauro Ranallo]
One of the best strikers in the world for sure there Graves, and one of the four women in the Money in the Bank ladder match come Emergence.

Asuka taunts on the ramp, moving down it halfway before taking a moment to pause. She reaches up to her mask, pulling it away in a swift motion, eyes darting around the arena. She bites her lip, anxious to get into a fight it would seem as she moves down the ramp.

Asuka comes down the ramp, finishing her decent as she takes to the ring. She climbs the steps and crosses the apron, entering the ring, still swaying to the music. She takes to the turnbuckle, climbing it. She taunts the crowd, almost conducting them with her swaying as they cheer for her. She hops down, walking across the ring and stopping, her eyes shifting up as the briefcase is made apparent.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Could that belong to Asuka come Emergence?

[Corey Graves]
It looks like she isn't going to wait! She realizes this isn't the pay-per-view, right?

Asuka has dipped out of the ring, reaching under the apron and digging under it. A few moments pass before a ladder has been pulled out, the crowd going wild for it. Asuka drags it up, sliding it under the ropes and into the ring. Asuka then turns to the time keeper's area, grabbing hold of a mic. She heads into the ring and grabs hold of the ladder. Asuka sets it up, directly underneath the briefcase before turning to the crowd.

[Asuka]
X...W...L!!!

Asuka nods as the crowd pops for her, biting her lip in anticipation.

[Asuka]
Konshū, watashi wa XWL no saisei irai no saisho no monodearu, ginkō no shiai ni misu manē o nyūryoku shimasu.

Asuka pauses, that rolling off the tongue quickly and almost no one in the crowd following.

[Asuka]
Kako sū-shūkan ni watatte, watashi wa korera no josei to watashi wa sensō-chū ni byū-goto no chingin o kite nagura rerudeshou. Suitai to bōryoku no sensō. Watashi wa Emergence de owaru koto ni naru sensō. Shutsugen-ji, watashi wa shōri no tame ni hashigo o nobotte, burīfukēsu o shuchō shi, yama no chōjō ni watashi no namae o kakemasu.

Asuka takes a moment, allowing it to sink in, pointing to add affect with the next lines she says.

[Asuka]
Watashi ga kisoiau josei to wa chigatte, watashi wa okubyōmonode wa arimasen. Watashi wa Nipponkoku kara no senshidesu. Watashi wa 1tsu no mono to 1tsu no mono dake ni settei sa rete ori, sore wa kono hashigo o shōri ni ageru kotodesu. Watashi wa rubī raiotto yori mo kikendesu. Watashi wa Nataria yori gijutsu-tekidesu. Watashi wa tashika ni shārotto yori ōku no bakkubōn o motte imasu.

Asuka takes a minute, serious look in her eyes as she stares directly into the camera and with that, the eyes of those she will face in the upcoming Money in the Bank Ladder Match

[Asuka]
Anata wa tsugi no joshi chanpion o mite imasu.

Asuka takes a moment, looking up at the ladder before taking to it. She begins to climb, taking no time to reach the top as she hurries, the want to fight and win overtaking her.

[Corey Graves]
Still isn't Emergence and I have no clue what she just said!

[Mauro Ranallo]
If she hears you, she will kick you into next week Corey.

[Corey Graves]
If she hears me, I doubt she will even understand me, Ranallo.

Asuka mounts the top of the ladder, sitting on it, peering out over the crowd as she raises the mic to her lips one more time.

[Asuka]
At, Emergence. I, will, win!

Asuka sticks her tongue out, feeling the crowd as they rise up in cheers for her. She takes a moment, sucking it in as she leans forward on the ladder, feeling quite at home it would seem, but suddenly her comfort fades as the crowd begins to boo, but not for Asuka, no it's for a different reason entirely..........

The arena fills with the theme of XWL's Queen. The crowd continues to boo as Charlotte makes her way out into the stage. She looks throughout the sea of booing "fans" before finally, coming eye to eye with the woman she left to fend for herself in last weeks Main Event. Neither move their gaze off one another. Asuka is more than unhappy and Charlotte knows it, but doesn't seem to care for she just cracks a grin before beginning to make her way down the ramp.

{Mauro Ranallo}

There she is Corey, the buzz of XWL all this week. The woman that left her "partner" to fend against not one, but two opponents.

{Corey Graves}
Obviously she didn't think that match was worth her time Mauro.

Asuka descends from the ladder as Charlotte begins to get closer to the ring. Asuka doesn't trust her, and with good reason. Charlotte turns the corner and begins to make her way around the ring. The crowd still booing her but she doesn't seem to care about that either as she continues to ignore them. She makes it to the announcers table and reaches her hand out, without saying a word.

{Mauro Ranallo}

What is she waiting on Corey?

{Corey Graves}
I believe she wants a microphone Mauro.

{Mauro Ranallo}
Well I'm not getting up and giving her one, she lost all respect I had for her with the stunt she pulled in last weeks Main Event.

{Corey Graves}
Come on Mauro, she's the Queen of XWL, she doesn't have to abide by the same rules as everyone else.

{Mauro Ranallo}
She's no "Queen" of mine.

{Corey Graves}
Fine Mauro, if you won't I will...

Corey Graves stands up, taking off his headset for the time being and grabs a microphone off the table. He steps forward and places it in the "Queens" hand. Charlotte nods as she looks into Corey's eyes, almost hypnotizing him. She then turns around and climbs the steel steps, before stepping through the ropes. Corey sits back down and puts his headset back on as Mauro Ranallo just shakes his head in disappointment. Asuka and Charlotte are now across the ring from eachother, the only thing separating them is the ladder. Charlotte begins to slowly look up the ladder until her gaze is fixed upon the briefcase hanging above them both. Charlotte keeps her gaze upon the briefcase while she raises the microphone and begins to speak.

{Charlotte Flair}
Beautiful isn't it? The thing we've been working so hard for. The thing we've been trying to kill eachother over. That briefcase is almost a guaranteed championship reign. A chance to take The women's Championship off April, and give it to a Queen. But it means so much more than that. It represents equality. It shows that the women in this business are every bit as good, if not better than the men. Or at least.....

Charlotte moves her gave off the briefcase and now comes back to being eye to eye with Asuka.

{Charlotte Flair}

I am.

The crowd boos Charlotte, for they knew this "nice girl" act wouldn't last long. Asuka doesn't seem to show any emotion at all as Charlotte begins to nod her head, smiling.

{Charlotte Flair}

Now let's go ahead and address something. The question on everyone's mind. What happened last week. Why did I leave you to hang high and dry? Well truth be told it's because I don't think you've got "it". You don't have what it takes to be Champion.

The crowd begins booing louder than they have all night, obviously disagreeing with her. Asuka looks around the crowd, realizing the disagree with the Queen.

{Charlotte Flair}

You think these peoples approval makes you a good champion? Or being able to do a few flips and tricks around the ring? No, it takes a REAL woman to be able to be a REAL champion. I am the only deserving woman in this company that should have the title "champion". I am the definition of perfection and yet I'm still standing here talking to.....

Charlotte looks down Asukas body and back up it with a look of disgust.

{Charlotte Flair}

"You"..... you disgust me. Your nothing but a part timer who comes and goes as she pleases. You think your the baddest woman on the planet don't you? But the biggest reason is because think you have what it takes to beat me...A Dynasty...A Queen...A Wrestling Godde.....

Charlotte's words are soon drowned out by loud cheers as Natalya's theme fills the arena, turning all attention to the stage. It's not long before she steps out, dressed in black, and a microphone hanging in her hand against her side. There's conviction in every step she takes until she stops at the top of the ramp, and her index finger raises up, tapping her chin with a peculiar expression on her face. Soon laughter echoes from the microphone as it raises up, and her theme silences.

[Natalya]
Have you ever heard the expression, if you don't have anything "nice" to say...don't say anything at all? Clearly, when it comes to XWL, this division...and practically any situation surrounding it, the answer would be no. Because it's always easy to tear down others, or to insult them when you can't beat them...right ladies?

With that emphatic introduction of her self to the current conversation, she lowers her microphone and starts to descend the ramp, no music blaring, just the cheers from her Natty Cats filling every bit of silence on her way.

[Corey Graves]
I can say what I want about Natalya, but one thing I can't say is that she's honestly without a doubt impressed me the most on this journey to Money in The Bank.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Victory after victory, after victory...and I continue that narrative for much longer due to the absolute roll she's been on.

[Corey Graves]
Ruby Riot, Charlotte Flair, and last week Asuka was added to that list, allowing Natalya to prove that in the ring, they can't touch her. But at Emergence, it's not about a pin or a submission, it's about climbing a ladder, and pulling down the contract that can change everything for all 4 of them.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Very true, and some would argue that by making herself such a threat heading into this match, unapologetically mind you...she's at least given them a reason to consider the idea of it may be every woman for herself, but let's hold off on that until we take Natalya out of the equation.

With a proud smile, Natalya gazes down at the ring as her journey to it continues. Her eyes light up, staring at the Money In The Bank briefcase that hangs above, knowing that it's everything she could need right now, the moment that leads to her finally becoming Women's Champion after 7 long years.

Soon she reaches the ring, and climbs up onto the apron, an unusual way of entry for Natalya. Her hands grip the ropes, and she eyes her fellow participants surveilling her surroundings. She sees the contract, the intensity in Asuka, the arrogance in Charlotte, the ladder set up in the center of the ring. A moment later she steps into the ring, and her hand glides down the ladder, eyeing up The "Queen" and The "Empress.

[Natalya]
You wanna know what's "disgusting" Charlotte? The level of disrespect that you and so many others continue to show each other on a weekly basis. A real woman doesn't need to speak highly of herself because everything she's done has said everything that needed to be said. I could easily stoop to your level Charlotte and rip you apart verbally...but I already did physically. That's what separates me, from you, or anyone else in this match. I don't talk a big game, I bring it. And say whatever you want about my past failures, or how many times I've been close, but fallen short. The fact of the matter is I get there, and while you and others choose to take time off to lick your wounds, I proudly wear mine as I look to the next challenge to fight for.

[Natalya]
And that challenge is not you, Asuka, or Ruby...it's that contract hanging above us, it's this ladder standing right there. Climbing it, and through the chaos, the physicality, the warfare, being able to pull it down, when people are scratching, clawing, dragging themselves back up the ladder as soon as they've been knocked down, that is the challenge. Being a "queen" having a "dynasty" won't matter when it's us in this ring, and that bell sounds. Propping yourself up on the same tired pedestal Asuka, will not win you this match, no...anything we say, anything we do, even the fact that I've defeated ALL of you, does not mean a DAMN thing. What does is our hunger, our drive to keep going, to get knocked down and get back up. And I don't know about any of you, but I know A LOT about getting knocked down, about pulling myself back up and climbing the ladder back to the top for another go. Which is what I'm going to do at Emergence, I will climb this ladder...and I will pull THAT down, and when I do? You may as well call me The New Women's Champion...because that's what I'll be by the end of the night.

As Ruby Riot's theme starts to play throughout the arena, the crowd erupts in a fairly even mix of boos and cheers. There is enough of a split between her actions to have both attracted and turned away fans. Ruby walks down to the ring, mic in hand. When she gets towards the bottom of the ramp, she stops and looks from Charlotte to Asuka before settling on Natalya.

RUBY RIOT!
Well, well, well. Here we are, one week away from a night that will change our lives and our careers. Asuka, it's fitting that you come out here first.  I have no idea what you said, but I'm sure it wasn't important anyway. Because really, what have you done that was important? Charlotte may be nothing but a snake, but at least she's made some moves. Granted, those moves were nothing more than selling herself out to her daddy's friends. I don't even want to think about what you're doing for JBL to keep his protection.

Ruby shakes her head and grimaces a bit before continuing. Ruby then begins to walk towards the ring and climbs in through the ropes, again focusing her attention on Natalya.

Ruby Riot!
I'm going to go ahead and just address the elephant in the room. Last week, Nattie, I...

Ruby falters while speaking and drops her eyes to the ground. She takes a second to gather herself before starting again.

Ruby Riot!
Well, you know what happened. I hope you didn't take what happened personally. We won that match together and as we stood there united, I knew I had to do something to... to stop that momentum you've been building. I needed to show you, and everyone else, that I won't let friendship or anything else stop me from reaching my goal. I knew that if I didn't, there would be a perception that I was carried by you. I've been in that position before, where I relied too much on someone or trusted too much. So, I ended it. I put my boot in your face and I dropped you to the mat and I stood over you. I stood over all of you. I showed that I have not only the ability, but the intelligence to be the last woman standing at Emergence.

"Well..... Well..... Well...."

The attention is back on Asuka as she speaks, this time starting in English just to grab everybodies attention. She nods, roaming the ring having came off her perch during Charlotte's entrance to the ring. She takes a moment, sinking in the electricity of the crowd and the egos all in the ring. She points right to Natalya, starting with her.

[Asuka]
Natalya, Anata wa kore made ni meibo-jō no saikō no resurā no hitoridesu. Anata wa hātodanjon o sotsugyō suru yuiitsu no josei de, sekaijū no josei ni insupirēshon o ataete imasu. Sore wa sore jishin ga motte iru subete no igyōdesu. Shikashi, Nataria o mamoru koto ga dekiru node, watashi o mamoru hitsuyō wa arimasen. Anata wa sainō ga arimasuga, dokokarakitano ka, anata wa rūkī no reberude sae kōryo sa remasen.

Asuka turns to Charlotte, pointing to her.

[Asuka]
Anata ga iitai koto wa, bokokude wa nani mo imi shinai anata no sei dakedesu. Watashi ni totte, anata wa kurushī toki ni watashi ni tatsu koto ga dekinakatta hito dakedesu.

Then to Riot, eyes practically screaming determination.

[Asuka]
Anata wa bureideari, shutsugen suru to, watashi wa anata o anata no tokoro ni oku tsumoridesu. Watashi wa seikō no hashigo ni nobori, sono soko ni, anata ga shozoku suru rain no ura ni anata o oku tsumoridesu.

She goes to turn away but stop, turning back to Ruby Riot.

[Asuka]
Don't worry. I say, in words, you understand, okay?

Asuka then smirks.

[Asuka]
You are, disrespectful.

Asuka turns to Natalya, still smirking.

[Asuka]
You are, has been. I don't need you, to defend, me.

Asuka then turns Charlotte.

[Asuka]
And you. You, worst of all. You, COWARD!

Asuka turns away, wiping her boots on the mat, disrespecting Charlotte.

[Asuka]
Come, Emergence, I'm going to, kick, all, heads, off!

Asuka smirks again, peering around at the group of women she is surrounded by. Charlotte is the first to make a move as she places her hand on her chest pointing at herself.

{Charlotte Flair}
Im a coward?

Charlotte steps forward now. She looks at Asuka with anger in her eyes.

{Charlotte Flair}
lets get something straight here, I have never run from you, or anyone. I hold my own in this ring each and every time I step foot in this ring. You seem to have this idea in your mind that because I was smart enough to do it before anyone else, that makes me a coward? To align myself with winners makes me a coward? I have never used the Cabinet to WIN a match. I'm no coward, you're just a hypocritical bitch.

The crowd "OOOOOOOOOH's" as Charlotte calls out Asuka in front of the entire world. Asuka is emotionless, not even seeming fazed but maybe deep down Charlotte struck a nerve. Charlotte now turns moving her attention to Natalya.

{Charlotte Flair}
look at you, miss all high and mighty. You don't want to stoop to MY level? Well excuse me, but I believe you have it backwards. See you couldn't RISE to my level. Even on your best day your not half the woman I am. You want to brag about beating me last week? Go ahead, because yes you beat me right here in this ring 1...2...3...BUT that doesn't mean you have a chance in hell of winning at Emergence.

And finally Charlotte's attention is brought to Ruby, the woman she has most heat with for Charolette made a name for herself at the expense of Ruby some months ago.

{Charlotte Flair}
And that brings me to you.....I have no words to describe you. Your nothing. You literally have no relevance to me. I could sit here and talk about how you have no chance in winning this match just like these other two fools. How you don't even deserve to be in this match. How this Sunday you'll be proven as the "one hit wonder" you are. But you, I, and all these people already know that.

[Natalya]
We're competing for the most incredible opportunity we may ever have the chance at fighting for in our entire careers...and THIS is how we express ourselves? Do any of you even understand what this means? What this could change? I had this opportunity before, and it's almost sad that staring at all of you has me reminded of myself back when THAT contract hanging above us now, was in my hands...

Her eyes longingly gaze up at The Money In The Bank briefcase and a mix of emotions spread across her face.

[Natalya]
People call this a guarantee, so what's the fuss, right? Be as overconfident as you want, all it takes is one match, and you'll be everything you could have ever dreamed of...and if you carry that mindset beyond this match, you'll end just like I did...when I marched out to the ring contract in hand, cashed it in...and I'm seconds away from making Maryse tap out...she's clawing she's screaming, she's seeing every horrible thing she did come back to bite her in this one moment. And like a fool, I believed it...I knew I had her where I wanted her, that contract, it gave me a power I had never felt...a power that meant I was untouchable, that no one could hold a candle to me, and the second I cashed it in, that title was mine. But do you know what that kind of thinking, that self-focused display will get you? Failure, not because they survived and beat you...no, because when it all but seems to be yours, and that smile is on your face, and the crowd is cheering...as the referee leans down further in to get her submission up close and personal....she slaps him, and just like that, a disqualification ruins everything.

[Natalya]
I want this not because it's an easy solution, or a "sure thing" I want this because I won't underestimate the opportunity that is inside that briefcase again. I won't let someone escape, I won't let it slip out of my grasp again, no...this is redemption, not some fast track to being a champion, but a chance to rewrite the past, to set myself on a course for the success that has eluded me for FAR too long. I NEED this, so if any of you have any hope of winning this match? You better damn well start acting like it. Keep your generic insults, your ego centric displays, and your forgetful messages to yourself, I'm not interested.

With that, Natalya suddenly begins to climb the ladder still in the center of the ring as Asuka, Charlotte, and Ruby all stare at her with a tense focus in their eyes. Once she reaches the top, and the case is hanging almost eye level, her mic raises up.

[Natalya]
I am however VERY interested in whats inside this, and that's my long awaited reign as Women's Champion.

As Ruby watches Natalya at the top of the ladder, a fire lights inside of her. The intensity builds as she looks up at the briefcase and Natalya and she starts to literally shake before rushing the ladder and climbing up the opposite side. Once at the top, she stares at Natalya who had prepared for an attack. Ruby lifts her hand up and puts it on top of the briefcase.

RUBY RIOT!
We ALL need this. You're right Natalya, this is about more than us. This is about a chance to change everything. Whether or not each of us deserves it, we are all fighting for that chance. Any one of us could be right here, holding this briefcase at Emergence. That winner will signal a sweeping change in this division. It will set the tone for the future of what we hold dearest.

While Ruby is still talking, Charlotte has had enough and charges the ladder and grabs the legs in an attempt to knock it down as she had after her recent match with Natalya. Before that can happen, Ruby jumps off of the top of the ladder and connects with a diving meteora, driving Charlotte right into the mat. As Ruby jumps to her feet clearly feeling good about herself, Asuka appears out of nowhere and grabs her from behind, flipping her backwards towards the mat with a vicious belly to back suplex.

[Mauro Ranallo]
This has descended into chaos! These women cannot restrain themselves!

[Corey Graves]
They have everything on the line Mauro. They are warriors, why would they?

As this is happening, Natalya is steadily making her way down the ladder and waiting for Asuka to finish what she is currently occupied with. She picks up Asuka and delivers a solid knee strike before throwing her towards the turnbuckle. Natalya starts running towards her but is tripped to the ground by Charlotte who is still prone.  Natalya rolls over onto her back to look back at Charlotte who has a conniving smirk across her face. Ruby has picked herself up off of the ground and is on one knee looking towards the scuffle. Asuka, who is leaned up against the turnbuckle has her trademark smile spread from ear to ear. All four women slowly get to their feet and a staredown begins, the calm before the storm.

[Corey Graves]
Ooh I have a bad feeling about this. The looks in their eyes say something serious is about to go down.

[Mauro Ranallo]
If it's too serious they might kill each other before the match even happens!

Almost as if on cue, the four charge each other and collide. They grapple together and interweave, pushing slightly in each direction as each woman fights to take control of the scrum. After no ground is gained from any side, the group splits and again stares each other down. The camera shows that there are some heated words being exchanged but the venomous exchange is not picked up by the microphones. Ruby and Charlotte, the two with arguably the most personal vendetta lock eyes. Ruby launches herself at Charlotte who was ready for it and placed her boot squarely into Ruby's face. As this happens, Asuka takes advantage of the distraction to rush forward and drop Natalya with a spinning elbow, ending the move facing Charlotte. Flair wastes no time leveling her as well, knocking her head off with a savage clothesline.

[Corey Graves]
The Queen is left standing over 3 peasants...and if she can do this at Emergence that contract is as good as hers.

[Mauro Ranallo]
With such a high stake, every moment in this Money In The Bank Ladder Match will be crucial to the success of one of these women.

Charlotte's eyes soon direct their gaze from the bodies at her feet to the contract hanging above, and the ladder that's still standing in the center of the ring and begins to climb it, sending a message that she'll be the one to do what she's doing now at Emergence and emerge The Miss Money In The Bank. Taking her sweet time, savoring every second she soon rises to the top, and arrogantly her hand grabs a hold of the case, but she goes one step further...no everyone else has done this they've grabbed it but none have pulled it down. So her other hand soon grabs a hold of the clasp it's hooked onto, and she starts to actually remove it as if the match was currently happening. However as it will be at Emergence, every second she wasted taking her sweet time has allowed Ruby Riot to recover from the straight boot to the face but The Queen and she start rapidly climbing the ladder as well, landing a clubbing blow to Charlotte and reaching for the case herself. Only for Natalya to have picked herself up after that stiff spinning elbow, and with urgency looks at the situation to see both sides of the ladder full, and both Flair and Riot reaching for the contract. Not to be deterred though, Natalya sees a slight bit of room on Charlotte's side, which in no way is how ladders are traditionally supposed to be climbed but she doesn't care. The Anvilette starts to climb alongside a surprised Charlotte, lands an elbow to the side of her ribs and soon it's both of them reaching for the case, as Ruby herself does the same on her side. As the camera pans out to showcase this unorthodox chaos we spot Asuka herself rushing to her feet, and much like Nattie did, The Empress of Tomorrow uses every little bit of room there is on Ruby's side climbing up after the case as well. The scene is hectic, 4 hands grabbing onto the ladder for very little support at maintaining their balance, and 4 hands clawing up at the case. The crowd is electric as if they themselves have forgotten the match isn't actually taking place now but with every push, shove, elbow, pull of the hair, or bash of the face against the top of the ladder, neither woman is giving in, they're refusing to let go, to fall and let just one remain in the position of "victory."

[Mauro Ranallo]
This is unbelievable, they're each so determined that they're defying every rule when it comes to ladder safety.

[Corey Graves]
You're not safe in this match, either way, if you climb too slow, or take your time unhooking that case, position the ladder too perfectly wasting valuable seconds that could separate you from winning and losing you're risking nothing but defeat and every last one of them knows that, it's why they're not playing things traditionally.

We don't typically see this type of display in a ladder match, usually, it's one or two at the top, but every woman in this match at Emergence is at the top clinging to this unstable situation fighting as if one perfect hit can send this situation in their favor. The fans are captivated by this, so much so that a "This Is Awesome" chant begins to make it's way in the building, just before it quickly dies as the ladder starts to tilt from the disarray atop the ladder. Before Natalya, Charlotte, Ruby, or Asuka can even realize it due to their sole focus on the case...it's becoming further and further away, their hands each reaching out one last time....before the ladder, and each one of them crashes to the canvas!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Mama Mia they're all down! Someone needs to check on them, that was brutal!

[Corey Graves]
My god I can't believe it, are they all crazy?

[Mauro Ranallo]
An opportunity like this can change their careers in an instant, sometimes that drives you to truly risk it all.

[Corey Graves]
Which begs the question, WHO will leave Emergence as The NEW Miss Money In The Bank?

[Mauro Ranallo]
I think at this point, it could go either way.

The camera pans out, highlighting the wreckage in the ring, Asuka, Ruby, Natalya, Charlotte all spread across the canvas like a beautiful disaster, and the ladder lying in between them, all while The Money In The Bank Briefcase hangs above. With this last powerful shot, we fade to a commercial break, more hyped than ever for the return of Miss Money In The Bank at Emergence.

We come back from commercial break to find Dean Ambrose and Sami Callihan in the ring. Both men seem pleased with themselves following the end result of their tag match last week. Dean is armed with a microphone and so is Callihan

[Dean Ambrose]
Last week we did what we've done pretty much for a month. We beat the shit out of Punk and Sydal. Honestly, it's not even that fun anymore. Sami or I should have been in that Intercontinental title tournament but instead we've been stuck fighting these two. We need to be focusing on what we set out to do in the Bullet Club. Company wide dominance. Every title, every award, every accolade, everything! After last week we're hoping that Sydal and Punk have gotten it through their heads that there is no winning this situation. You lose in every scenario that involves us and honestly we'd just like to move on with our lives if that's okay with those two

Dean runs a hand through his hair

[Dean Ambrose]
We've spent so much time messing around with these idiots that's just dawned on me that we have nothing to do for Emergence. We should be fighting for titles or laying waste to someone actually important. I've beaten Punk more times than I can count and Sydal doesn't interest me at all so I won't be challenging either of them. Point I'm making is last week closed the book on anything will those two

As Sami has raised his microphone to follow up on what his fellow Switchblade Brother said before he gets a word out, another voice echoes from the stage "Hold it just one gold damn minute!" the mere sound of this voice and their use of gold elicits a massive response of cheers that draws the ire of Dean Ambrose and the interrupted Sami Callihan. Quickly our cameras shift to the stage, and sure enough standing there alongside CM Punk, is Matt Sydal. Since coming together 2 weeks ago they've been a unified front against The Bullet Club, and tonight is no exception.

[Matt Sydal]

Spare us the pain of hearing your whiny voice echo a tune that's as tired as you attacking us every week because when it comes to standing toe to toe in a ring against us, you can't. Lemme guess Sami, you're going to take this time to gloss over the fact that 2 weeks ago you finally got the opportunity you've been bitching about being held down from...and you lost. But not me, no...see there's crow on the menu, and it's just for you. But don't get jealous Dean, there's going to be enough to go around soon enough once The Bullet Club gets what you've got coming to you. See, your whole deal is you're sick of being underutilized, you're through with sitting back while others get what YOU should be handed, but...you literally had the chance to back up what you say, and prove that everything every single one of you spews out on a nightly basis, isn't complete bullshit. And did you? Did he, Punk?

Punk takes this time to shrug in an exaggerated fashion as the fans continue to rally behind them and their message. With a mocking shake of his head and a mouthed "I don't think so" Sydal redirects his focus back to The Switchblades.

[Matt Sydal]

No, you didn't. You fell flat on your face, just like your fellow "good" brother Finn Balor...and is anyone surprised? No! Why? Because it's one thing to say you're good, damn good even...and it's another thing to actually PROVE IT! Me? Punk? We've proven it time and time again, and the fact that you and countless others continue to discredit us, it's downright insulting is what it is. And I bet you think last week was you getting one over on us...but if you paid any attention at all, we knew you wouldn't face us straight up, why be stand up guys now after all. No, you'd do what you did, get your brothers to fight the battle you started, because you know if you fought us without any of them, we'd whip your sorry asses. So to the surprise of ABSOLUTELY NO ONE! You avoided that at all costs, but you haven't seen the last of us, no...we're just getting started. And see, last week...you think we fell into your trap, but surprise surprise...ready for the swerve of your life? YOU FELL INTO OURS!

Confusion is written on the face of Dean Ambrose and Sami Callihan, as the fans themselves seem confused, how is being beaten down by every member of The Bullet Club an elaborate plan?

[Matt Sydal]

I know what you're thinking, did we hit these fools harder than we thought? In what world did we fall into their trap? Well, with the rise of The Bullet Club, any other General Manager in history would have either latched onto y'all and handed you the moon or created a resistance against you. But Layla, she likes to play it even, she wants there to be no call for bias, as much as y'all love to throw that around. So after she made our match official for last week, Punk and I stuck around, and actually proposed a bit of an amendment to her announcement. We knew you two wouldn't go it alone, but she couldn't risk giving you guys any more ammo to blindly fire at her...so, with a quick a nod we headed on our way and said...okay, she wants us to give her a reason to give us what we want? Well, our good buddies Dean Ambrose and Sami Callihan will do just that. AND LIKE THE SUCKERS YOU ARE, YOU BIT HOOK LINE AND SINKER! You couldn't resist flipping the script on us and ambushing Punk and I just when we think we had finally gotten somewhere, and because you have no self-control, a quick visit with Layla about an hour ago, and well...just see for yourself.

As the graphic pops up on the screen the sourer expressions on The Switch Blade's faces says it all, as does the massive pop that follows from the fans in response to the official announcement that there will be a rematch at Emergence, INSIDE A STEEL CAGE!

[Matt Sydal]
Beautiful, isn't it? You'll have nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, no one to save you...and not a single bullet in the chamber. Just you, and us. But as much as we're oh so ready for Emergence, we're a little ungrateful you see. We're like that kid a week before Christmas that stumbles on his parent's secret stash of gifts...and he sees the thing he wanted most, but drat...he has to wait a week, he KNOWS he has it...and in just 7 days he'll be able to play with it...but as he stands there, quietly hidden away he wants to open it right then and there. There are consequences, he's not supposed to, but he wants to....and right now, we REALLY want to knock your teeth down your throat, we KNOW we'll do it at Emergence, but we REEEEEEEAAAALLLYYY WANT TO NOW! So I guess what I'm trying to say is, don't be too mad Layla.

Immediately his microphone causes a "thud" as it bounces off the stage, and both he and Punk make a mad dash down the ramp as the fans quite frankly...lose their shit. Punk and Sydal slide into the ring, right into the Switchblades who pounce, pummeling them upon entry. Wild fists, clubbing blows and kicks all flash towards the two entering the ring. Punk and Sydal struggle for a minute, but with adrenaline on their sides they reach their feet.

Sydal and Punk begin to tee off, backing each of their individuals up to respective corners. Sydal taking Callihan to a corner and Punk taking Ambrose to another.
The Swtichblades take back control, pinning the heroes of our story into the corners, bashing them with quick and unorthodox attacks. Then, to work in unison, they decide to whip the heroes towards each other. Punks ducks Sydal and the two attack, Punk catching Callihan with a big knee while Sydal catches Ambrose with a jumping dropkick. Punk snatches Callihan's head, looking to Sydal who mimicks it. They duo take off, landing bulldogs in the ring, centering their foes.

A moment passes as the two look at each other before nodding, realizing they could possibly have this under control. They begin to attack more, kicking and stomping on the Switchblades, not willing to stop until Emergence starts at this point. They are on the prowl, and out for blood when a very sickening theme hits the airwaves, sending a chorus of boos across the crowd.

The duo look to the stage as two more members of the Bullet Club appear. This time, in the form of AJ Styles and Finn Balor. Not the usually guns, Gallows and Anderson, the fans get their monies worth tonight as the two come darting out of the back. The Bullet Club takes off down the ramp, sliding into the ring right into Matt Sydal and CM Punk. Punk and Sydal take control off the bat, brawling with the duo. Up until the Switchblades get back to their feet. Then, it's the Switchblades on top of Punk while Sydal is stuck with Styles and Balor. In this moment, it doesn't look good for Sydal and Punk.

The crowd comes to life, this time in a series of cheers as another figure enters the ring. Coming in so fast, he's almost able to be missed as he slides in the ring and darts at Styles, sending him clean over the ropes in front of the announcer's table. John Cena stands in the ring, ripping his shirt off over his head as he turns to Balor who is suddenly on him. Balor sends a flurry of kicks his way, backing Cena up to the corner. Cena is staggered but pushes back, literally, sending Balor backwards right into an enziguri from Sydal who had jumped to his feet just in time.

The two share a look of uncertainty for a moment, not sure how they feel about being on the same page. At the same time they look to their right, ducking the Switchblades as they go to attack. The Switchblades bounce onto the ropes, having put their full force into the attack. The duo turn back, right into Punk who is leading the charge as the trio all lock up to clothesline the duo over the top. The trio stands tall, Sydal smirking, Cena yelling in excitement like he does and Punk backing up, practically begging for more.

The Bullet Club sit on the outside for a moment, thinking over what to do next. AJ Styles seems to be leading the brainstorm as he pushes Sami and Dean off as the duo take off around the ring. Ambrose going to the far side where the ramp is while Sami stops on the side. Balor and Styles stop for a moment, having a conversation before Balor goes to move around the ring, slowly, milking this moment. They appear to be doing a SHIELD like move, surrounding the ring to all enter at the same time to outnumber the ones inside of it. Cena, Sydal and Punk all take ready stances, unsure of who to focus on.

The lights go out and the crowd almost lose their freaking minds in that moment.

As they come back on, the crowd only gets louder as The Undertaker stands in front of AJ Styles. Taker snatches Styles by the throat, hatred in his eyes as Styles goes to try and free himself. Balor comes darting back around the ring, using the steps to aid him as he leaps over, right into Taker who catches him, tossing Styles off. Taker grabs Finn by the throat now, the real fire being lit as Balor lashes out, kicking his way free. Then, all hell breaks loose.

The Switchblades storm the ring as Cena darts outside, joining the fray out there. Balor and Taker take to each other, brawling backwards into the announcer's table. Balor gets slammed into one by Taker, who is on the prowl as of right now. He punches Balor, sending him back and over the table. Balor rolls back as Taker moves around the table, going to grab Balor. As he does, Balor thumbs his eyes, causing Taker to double back. Taker backs up towards the time keeper's area as Balor jumps up onto the table. Balor takes off running, jumping off but as he does despite the momentary blindness it isn't enough to stop The Elite Champion from catching Balor out of midair by the throat and tossing him into everyone that didn't make it out of the booth.

Cena and Styles as spilled over the barricade, Cena sending Styles crashing over it before following suit. That comment about his fiance still on his mind as he goes after Styles, swinging on him every chance he gets. Styles reaches out, grabbing a member of the crowd and pulls them in front of him causing Cena to stop his chase. As he does, Styles turns around and flips backwards. Cena shoves the fan out of the way but takes a Pele kick right to the skull, knocking them both down for a moment.

Inside of the ring, Sami has Matt Sydal pinned against the ropes, choking him on them while Punk is unleashing a flurry of kicks into Ambrose. Sami notices this, taking off to help his buddy but Punk merely side steps him, placing Callihan in front of Ambrose and giving him the same treatment. Punk steps to the side as Sydal comes flying in like a bat out of hell, jumping with a drop kick right into Callihan who bashes into Ambrose. The duo roll out of the corner then out of the ring. Punk and Sydal following, not letting up.

All around chaos insues. Cena and Styles brawling through the crowd, using the guard rails and cement to hurt one another. Taker and Balor crawing and scratching their way around the announcer's table. Ambrose and Sydal around the steps on the far side of the ring, going at each other. The Callihan and Punk trying to tear each other apart near the apron. There isn't enough security in the building to stop these guys and Layla knows it, sending the show to a commercial break while sending people out from the back to break this mess up.

Anarchy returns from a commercial break and a familiar theme can be heard playing within the arena, when the camera pans to the ring XWL's general manager Layla can be seen standing in the center of the ring with a mic in one hand and clipboard in the other whilst the crowd cheer her on and as her theme slowly dies down. Layla smiles as her theme comes to a close and she lifts the mic to her mouth to begin speaking.

(Layla)
A little over 2 weeks ago XWL made history by announcing the first ever Shawn Michaels Classic!

The crowd pops for the words that had just come out of Layla's mouth, the HBK Classic has been some of the most exciting in ring action that the XWL Universe has ever witnessed, and judging by their reaction right there, they've been loving it!

(Layla)
The Shawn Michaels Classic was designed as a first of it's kind tournament within XWL where eight hand picked superstars were chosen to battle it out amongst each other in an effort to determine which 2 superstars were the best of the best. Those two superstars who finished with the highest amount of points after completing their matchups would go on to make even more history, they would go on to Emergence to face each other for the Intercontinental Championship in the MAIN EVENT of the pay per view, the first time that the Intercontinental Championship will main event an XWL pay per view in history!!!

Once again the crowd is lets out a massive pop as they're just being reminded at how awesome the Shawn Michaels Classic has been and it seems as though they sure as hell can't wait for that main event at Emergence.

(Layla)
Now for those of you who may have heard the Shawn Michaels classic get announced a number of weeks ago, but are wondering why there's been no matches air live on our weekly Anarchy broadcast, it's just simply due to time constraints. We tend to go 5-10 minutes over our runtime for our weekly Anarchy shows as it is and there was just no way that we were going to be able to fit the Shawn Michaels Classic matches onto the program and I sincerely apologize to all members of the XWL Universe for that, the good news however is that if you sign up to the XWL Network for $9.99 a month, then you will gain access to not only a wide array of XWL content, but you will also get access to ALL of the 2017 Shawn Michaels Classic matches in full, uncut, unedited, and all in their original glory.

The fans seem to be thrilled that they'll be able to watch the full unedited version of the Shawn Michaels Classic in the comfort of their own homes for the low price of $9.99 a month.

(Layla)
With that being said, this tournament was a big leap for XWL and judging by the reaction of the XWL Universe from the moment it was announced, I'd say it's been a resounding success. The matches have been taking place on XWL's live event circuit over the last two weeks and I'm happy to report that as of tonight, as of this very moment, the tournament has concluded and the main event of Emergence has been set!!!

The XWL Universe practically leap out of their seats with excitement, this was a total surprise, nothing was announced beforehand that would've lead anyone to believe that the main event would be announced tonight, most people thought as though it would be announced at Emergence itself, but the XWL Universe appears to be in for a massive treat here tonight.

(Layla)

In my hand right here I hold a clipboard, and attached to this clipboard is the official contract for the Intercontinental Championship match that will main event Emergence. But I must say, something's missing here, Chris (Layla looks over to the timekeepers area and one of the ringside assistant's rises to his feet appearing to be responding to Layla) Would you please bring over the centerpiece of the conversation.

The ringside assistant known as Chris bends over and picks up a dark and flat leather bag from ringside, he walks over to the ring and rolls under the bottom rope, while all the attention was on the man named Chris, another ringside assistant had setup a small table to the right of where Layla was standing. Chris opens the bag and he pulls out the prestigious Intercontinental Championship belt that will be up for grabs at Emergence. The belt appears to have undergone a complete and thorough cleaning as the gold on it glistens as brightly as it's ever been, the white strap also appears to be brand new as the old strap was much duller in color after all the years of wear and tear on the belt. Chris places the belt on the table in way so that the centerplate of the title is on full display for the camera at all times.

(Layla)
That's better don't ya think?

Layla holds up the mic for the crowd to respond and as expected they eat it up 100% and cheer for the good as new looking Intercontinental Championship belt that's been off our screens for far too long now.

(Layla)

So ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to our first finalist. This man or machine as some like to call him is one of the most experienced and dangerous competitors in pro wrestling today. He has been on a total warpath since returning to XWL a few months ago and has brutalized many of XWL's best superstars since his return and even managed to put one of our best and brightest on the shelf for over a month, but perhaps scariest of all, is the fact that this man has been undefeated since returning to XWL. For nearly 5 months, he has beaten and battered anything and everything in his path, he finishes this tournament with an unbelievably impressive 12 points with an official record of 4 wins, 1 draw, and 0 losses and at Emergence he intends to prove himself to be the most dangerous man in all of the continents by capturing the Intercontinental Championship, so please join me and welcoming the first of the two men who will compete for the Intercontinental Championship in the MAIN EVENT of Emergence, "The Destroyer", Samoa Joe!!!!!

Most of the crowd lets out a positive reaction at the sound of Samoa Joe's theme hitting the airwaves, JOE chants begin to fill the arena as the seconds tick on. Some people choose to boo Joe and a select few others don't seem to have much of a reaction at all, potentially because they don't know how to feel about Joe. Joe's caused nothing but destruction since his return earlier this year, but then again, it's not like he hasn't warned us about what he was going to do in XWL, and that's probably where some of these fans have come to respect Joe, he doesn't say much, but when he does speak? he means what he says and he backs up every single word that comes out of his mouth night in and night out, and that's something that definitely deserves respect, but Joe doesn't come out here week after week demanding respect, he comes out here, takes care of his business, and moves on, he is the ultimate professional and his profession? DESTRUCTION!

Joe steps through the curtain and out onto the stage clearly with a purpose and serious intent, he's tired of waiting for his second crack at the Intercontinental Championship and he knows that he's mere moments away from solidifying his one on one main event match for it at Emergence. Joe's been on warpath during this tourney and it's clear that he intends on taking out all the opposition between him and that Intercontinental Championship, and so far? he's succeeded, he's got one match left to win and if he does? then he'll finally become the champion of the continents and prove that he's one of, if not thee most destructive superstar that XWL has ever seen.

Joe walks down the ramp with intent and wastes no time in jogging up the steps and entering the ring where XWL's GM stands with the contract in her hand and the Intercontinental Championship on prominent display beside her on a mini table. Joe approaches the table and stares at the championship, almost as if he's staring into it's soul (if it had one), the message is clear, Joe wants that title and judging by the look on his face and by his body language tonight? he's gonna do everything in his power to make damn sure that he walks out of Emergence with it. Joe picks up one of two mics that was placed on the mini table beside the IC Title whilst Joe was making his entrance, his theme dies down and more JOE chants begin to build up as Joe was lifting the mic to his mouth, the crowd's chants have caused Joe to pause and look out to the thousands of members of the XWL Universe who are chanting his name, he gives them a few nods seemingly thanking them for the reaction before lifting the mic to his mouth.

(Samoa Joe)
A few months ago I came back to this company. I came back here on a mission. I came back here to rectify my past failures, to rectify the failures of a younger and less experienced Samoa Joe. I had to prove to myself and the whole entire world that Samoa Joe? was still as dangerous as he was from day one when he was fresh off the boat from the Isle of Samoa. Don't be mistaken however, it wasn't ONLY about proving that I'm as dangerous and as lethal as I was from day one, it was about proving that I was even MORE dangerous, more lethal, and more capable of causing mass destruction than I ever have been before in my entire career!!!!

Joe paces around the ring.

(Samoa Joe)
So before coming back to XWL, I went back to my roots, I went back to Samoa to sharpen my skills, and then I went took a trip back to SO-CAL to remember who I was, to remember the good ol days, but to also remember that those days have past and that it's all about the here, the now, and the future. I had to remind myself that the old Samoa Joe was dead and gone, and that the older and more experienced seasoned vet who has traveled and wrestled around the world for damn near two decades was the most dangerous iteration of Samoa Joe known to man!!!

The crowd seem to be highly invested in hearing about Joe's journey back to XWL.

(Samoa Joe)
Judging by the last few months I'd say that my time away from the company to do some soul searching and my little "refresher course" in Samoa has proved highly successful. I'm leaner and meaner than I ever have been, I'm faster and sharper than I ever have been, but most importantly, I'm deadlier than I ever have been. I warned people from the day I stepped back into this company, I told every single person employed by XWL to watch their back twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, and three hundred and sixty five days a year because ya never know when you're gonna wind up on Joe's hit list, ya never know when you're suddenly a target for the most dangerous entity in professional wrestling, but yet people failed to take those warnings seriously, they failed to heed the warnings and they went about their lives as usual, and for just about everyone that's crossed my path, that's proven to be a damn near fatal mistake for them, their decision to ignore me, their sheer negligence had to be punished with severe consequences, and those consequences involved me BEATING THEIR ASS TO A PULP in the middle of this ring and them not being able to do a DAMN THING ABOUT IT!!!

Joe's face begins to turn red as he continues to pace around the ring and his rage is clearly intensifying with each word.

(Samoa Joe)
When this tournament was announced, I came out and said that one by one they'd be sent my way, and one by one they'd all fall, and that's exactly what happened. Baron Corbin, Cody, Brother Nero, and Bobby Roode all stepped up to the plate to challenge me, at least that's what they thought because in reality, in the real world, in my world? all they did was step on my toes and get in my way, and as I just got through saying, certain actions require punishment, and their punishment was me putting every single one of them down for the three count and running away with this tournament, but ya see, most people would be satisfied with that, most people would be content with twelve points out of a possible fifteen, but Me? I'm not like most people because I'm an assassin, a machine, a destroyer, I'm all of it but most of all? I'm a professional at what I do, and as far as I'm concerned, I didn't get the job done in my final tourney match, a countout draw is simply not good enough and you can bet your asses that come hell or high water, at Emergence? I will rectify the fact that I left three points on the table when I DESTROY MY OPPOSITION and become the new XWL Intercontinental Champion!!! So consider this my final warning, I will walk into Emergence as a man on a mission, and then I will proceed to massacre and eviscerate the opposition, and when all is said and done, when the bell rings and my hand is raised and that belt is placed over my shoulder? then at that point all doubts will be erased, all the doubters who question my win streak, who say I'm a fluke, all of those who doubt me, who ignore me and who disrespect me will be completely and utterly silenced for good when I leave Emergence as not only the Intercontinental Champion, but I will also leave that building as the  UNDISPUTED DICTATOR OF DESTRUCTION WORLDWIDE!!!!

Joe throws the mic down furiously and requests the pen from Layla, she hands Joe the pen and hands him the clipboard with the contract on it, Joe then slams the pen back down onto the clipboard and hands it back to Layla.

I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU

The powerful sounding music would blast out of the speakers -- the entire arena would shake from the sound of the music as THE MONSTER AMONG MEN would appear on the stage. The entire arena would shake as he steps out onto the stage -- looking different than before. The black lamb mask that was attached to his face was no more. It has been gone, replaced with a look of a monster. A growl leaving his mouth as he stands there -- his entire body language, his presence told the world -- that he was ready for what he had to do tonight to walk out the victor. Looking forward -- right down to the ring -- this was a new land for him. Braun Strowman would stare right at the ring as he walks down the ramp. Thudding his way down as he never takes his eyes of the ring. He would stare forward as he slowly walked to the steps. Taking his time -- each step almost shaking the entire ring itself as he walked up the steps and onto the apron. One leg brought over the ropes and landing within the ring -- the other following as the MONSTER didn't even have to push the ropes down as he stood there. He was breathing heavily as look at Samoa Joe. Walking towards them and almost pumping chests with one another as he stares down at the little runt -- his hand moving outwards to the side as a microphone was placed before it as he grins slightly.

"Don't worry LITTLE MAN. You have NOTHING to fear from me. You are already injured -- I can see it in your eyes, you are hurting from the taste I gave you in our last encounter. There is NO sport in hunting INJURED prey. So lower your guard. I am only here to look you in the eyes and see the fear start to take over you.”

He would chuckle down the microphone. It was heavy and muffled as he moved a little bit. Moving and then walking as he walked around Samoa Joe. Doing one full circle around him and looking him and down and with a grin upon his lips he would shake his head. The monster among men was disappointing with what stood before him. All it took was one taste of him in one encounter for Samoa Joe to be like this. The runt was hardly worth the effort to the monster among men -- and yet the monster remains as he stood before Samoa Joe once more.

"You stand here and talk all this TRASH -- make yourself out to be UNBEATABLE -- but we both know the truth don't we LITTLE MAN -- I had you beat. I KNEW IT. YOU KNEW IT. THE RUNTS IN THE CROWD KNEW IT -- HELL EVEN YOUR OWN FAMILY KNEW IT. You tossed everything you had at me and it still was not enough. You hit me as hard as you could. You dropped me as hard as you could. You managed to get me up and throw me down as hard as you could -- but you could not keep me down and do you want to know something -- ALL I GAVE YOU WAS A TASTE. I gave you a small sample of what I could do and look at what happened. I left you beaten and flattened on the outside while I stood over you with my arm raised in the air. The only reason you are still standing is because I allowed it!"

The monster among men would chuckle lightly as he would lick his lips as he stares on at the man before him. His eyes dart downwards to the contract that was before him as he then looks back up at the man that he wasn't just going to defeat -- this was the man he was going to end once and for all.

"There was a time where I was nothing more than a JOKE here. A time where people would laugh not only behind my back -- but right in my face as well. I had lost my way. I had forgotten who I was -- I WAS LOST. I was nothing and I left in disgrace -- I returned home and I waited -- I allowed hatred to fill my heart. To consume me and drag me down. I allowed the laughter and the numerous defeats I suffered to take hold of me and make me stronger. While you ripped through this roster -- I allowed darkness to take over me -- to kill the man I had become and to birth what I was always meant to be --- the monster among men. I CAME BACK AND I DESTROYED ALL WHO STOOD BEFORE ME. I crushed them in mere seconds. I broke their bodies and their spirits -- and it was easy. I entered this tournament to the sound of laughter -- you all looked at me and saw the man I once was -- and not the monster I had become. I stood in the ring and I stared into the eyes of Enzo -- I took him in my arms and I crushed him and destroyed him -- I beat him so badly that he left the tournament and from the sidelines Mike Kanellis saw what I did and he too left -- in one match I ended two men and from there -- IT WAS ALL EASY. Samoa Joe -- you knocked them down -- but I kept them down. I destroyed all who faced me. Ask Bobby -- ask Cody -- ask Jeff -- hell even ask that runt Corbin -- he got lucky against me, but his luck cost him years of his career. I am not the man you once knew -- I am the monster among men and Samoa Joe -- I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU!"

He would throw the microphone to the side as he grabs the pen and writes his name on the contract. His massive hand gripping under the table as he would throw it up and over the ring ropes as it crashes to the outside as he steps forward. Chest to chest with Samoa Joe as he looked down at him. The monster among men would lick his lips as he just chuckles -- going to strike Samoa Joe first, but he counters and starts striking at the monster among men -- knocking him back as Braun Strowman quickly grabs Samoa Joe and lifts him up and onto his shoulders as if he were nothing more than a child -- as Samoa Joe slips free and lands behind him -- both men start to lay into one another as all hell breaks loose in the ring.

Amidst all this chaos Layla was able to escape just in the nick of time by rolling under the bottom rope and landing on the outside of the ring, she's clearly furious at what's transpiring though, the very reason she decided to vacate the championship from JBL was due to his rivalry with Bad News Barrett that became way too personal, to a point that the Intercontinental Championship was no longer the main focus of the competitors, but the focus was instead on tearing each other limb from limb, now she appears to have a similar situation on her hands, two men who had an absolute war in their Shawn Michaels Classic match, but their match had no true ending, no final resolution as both men were counted out and awarded a zero point draw, now these 2 monsters seem hell bent on destroying each other until there's only one of them left standing for good, and that's something that Layla refuses to deal with once again, Strowman and Joe could turn into the next JBL and Bad News Barrett rivalry, only this time it'd be supersized, chaos and destruction on a whole nother scale due to the sheer size of these two and the amount of damage and destruction that they're capable of causing. Layla signals to the back, appearing to be calling for more security and help out here and it within seconds about ten to twelve members of XWL's security team come racing down the ramp and they slide into the very ring where Joe and Strowman are currently slugging it out with each other

Joe stops slugging away at Strowman and decks the first guard who comes at him with a stiff right that drops him like a sack of bricks immediately. Joe grabs another guard who charges at him and sends him flying across the ring with an exploder suplex. Two more guards charge at Joe and they pay the price by being flung halfway across the ring and crashing into the turnbuckle.Joe unleashes a flurry of strikes onto the first guard before he just collapses from the punishment causing Joe to go to town on the second guard who remains trapped in the corner. Joe mixes up his strikes with a combo of quick body blows and fierce headshots that ends up sending the second guard crashing down to the mat as well. The remainder of the guards attempt to back Strowman into the corner and keep him separated from Joe, their plan fails miserably however when Strowman summons the strength to break out of their grasp and sends them flying halfway across the ring. 4 of the guards stumble to their feet and Strowman charges at them and runs into them like a freight train causing all of em to hit the mat hard and roll out of the ring. Two guards remain, one charges at Strowman and Braun grabs him out of mid run and sends him flying over the top rope and to the outside of the ring with hellacious impact. The last guard attempts to flee the ring but this time Joe snatches him by the throat and tosses him over the top rope and out of the ring as well, seemingly trying to one up Strowman's tossing of the other guard out of the ring seconds ago. The two behemoths share an evil staredown with each other in the middle of the ring now that all the security has been wiped out, these men have a look on their face that makes it 100% clear that they want to kill each other, the problem is, if they do that now? then there's gonna be no main event left at Emergence, that doesn't seem to matter to these two monsters though as Strowman shoves Joe sending him flying off the ropes and causing Joe to crack Strowman directly in the fact with a forearm on the rebound, things are getting out of hand once again and now Layla races to the timekeepers area and picks up a mic.

(Layla)
ENOUGH!!!!!

(Layla)
I am not dealing with another repeat of the JBL and Bad News Barrett situation, this title will not become a backseat to personal vendetta's and rivalries ANY LONGER!!! The main event of Emergence is about THIS CHAMPIONSHIP (Layla holds up the IC Title that she managed to escape the ring with moments ago.) not about the two of you killing each other. OFFICERS, Please make your way to the ring and separate these two men!!!

We're past the point of unarmed security teams at this stage, armed police officers make their way down to the ring with their hands on their holsters showcasing that they're prepared to use deadly force if necessary if things get completely out of hand here tonight. The officers enter the ring and pry the two monsters off of each other and manage to keep them at bay within their own corners on opposite sides of the ring.

(Layla)
Now here's what's going to happen, I'm not gonna deal with another match ending in disqualifications or count outs or any other finish not named pinfall or submissions, so at Emergence, I'm going to give you both your one and only chance to get this want to destroy one another out of your systems. In the main event of Emergence for the Intercontinental Championship, there will be no holds barred and falls will count ANYWHERE!!! Whether it's in this ring, in the parking lot, on the streets, it doesn't matter, one man will pin or submit the other, and WE WILL crown an Intercontinental Champion come hell or highwater!!!

The fans are chanting "let them fight" as police officers continue to keep the men separated in the ring.

(Layla)

So here's the deal, I've given you both what you want, a license to hurt each other by any means at Emergence, now you're both going to play by my rules as I'm not going to let anything jeopardize this main event. Officers, I'm instructing you to arrest Braun Strowman and or Samoa Joe if either of these men come into contact with each other before Emergence.

Joe looks over at Layla and laughs off her comments as he shoves the officers to the side and leaps into the air and onto Braun Strowman and all the officers who surround him across the ring, Anarchy has literally just turned into complete Anarchy as rules are being tossed out the window and chaos is in full effect with these two monsters. About six officers pounce on Joe and tackle him to the mat where they proceed to slap the cuffs on him as he's the one who initiated contact after Layla gave the direct order to arrest either man if they came in contact with each other before Emergence. The crowd begin to wildly chant JOE, JOE, JOE!!! as the officers bring him to his feet and carry him out of the ring in cuffs. Joe is walked up the ramp in handcuffs by officers on all sides of him iwhilst the entire XWL universe cheers the Dictator of Destruction on, Layla just puts her hands over her face at ringside knowing very well that this main event may have been ruined right before her eyes. The last shot we see before a commercial break is Joe being walked through the curtain and the camera once again focusing on Braun and the officers surrounding him in the ring.

[

A recap from tonight's show is played - clips from the announcement made earlier by Layla regarding the winners of the Shawn Michaels Classic and the two men who would be squaring off against one another. Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman. Two men were certainly lacking the 'IT factor' when it came to professional wrestling. When the recap came to an end, we head backstage to a man who believed he was the definition of what it took to have the 'IT Factor' and it didn't stop there. He was simply glorious. He was none other than Bobby Roode... and Renee Young who held a microphone in the grip of her hand.

[RENEE YOUNG]
Earlier in tonight's show, we found out who would be going one on one for the vacant Intercontinental Championship. Two of the men who beat you in the tournament for the main event spot at Emergence. I just wanted to pull you aside and speak to you about the match and tournament itself. Maybe get a word in about who you think is going win.

[BOBBY ROODE]
If you're looking for a word, I've got a word for you ━ the word I have for you is 'why' because I want to know why we have to hand Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman yet another opportunity to succeed. Samoa Joe already had his chance at the Intercontinental Championship and he failed. Braun Strowman had two chances to become the number one contender for the Heavyweight Championship of this company and he could not get the job done because he was too busy writing his little poems about stuff no one cared about. They had their chance and it makes no sense that their failures have led them to the main event of a pay-per-view event. It's not fair to men like me who have done nothing but worked to better themselves, even in the months that I was gone from this company. I was out there looking to better myself. I was out there doing whatever I could to expand the popularity of the Bobby Roode name.

[BOBBY ROODE]
If there is anyone who should be main eventing pay-per-views, that person is me. Bobby Roode should be main eventing pay-per-views. I am GLORIOUS for Christ's sake. I may not have the resume that Samoa Joe has and I might not have the athletic ability that Braun Strowman has for a man of his size, but I have IT and I'm not too sure if Layla realizes that or not. I would assume she sees something in me considering she was so kind enough to negotiate a contract and resign me to the Anarchy brand as one of her superstars, but I am not going to sit back and watch as two men steal the spotlight that I deserve. I deserved that opportunity and I deserve that championship. There is no denying that. There is no arguing against that. I deserve to be your Intercontinental Champion more than either of them deserve it. I do not care if I didn't win the Shawn Michaels Classic because there should have never been a Shawn Michaels Classic. It should've always been about me. It should've been the Bobby Roode Classic and right now, I should be holding that championship.

Renee Young realizes he is finished (for now) and switches the microphone back to her.

[RENEE YOUNG]
I still think you put up an impressive showing in the tournament. You only lost three matches and dare I say, you looked Glorious in doing so. Do you think there is a chance we might see you as the man to challenge either Samoa Joe or Braun Strowman for the Intercontinental Championship once they do battle in Falls Count Anywhere?

[BOBBY ROODE]
First of all, thank you for stating what is already obvious. Secondly, we will just have to wait and see what our General Manager decides to do because as we saw, she has a lot on her hands... but that doesn't change how I feel. I feel like... No, I KNOW I deserve a chance at that championship just as much as the two of them. Emergence is around the corner and since I am currently without a match, I'm going make sure it stays that way. I am going to take a step back, let them have their moment and I am going to be watching and preparing my next move. And my next move, regardless if it involves the Intercontinental Championship or not... it'll without any doubts be oh so...

Bobby Roode stops talking and poses in his signature position. His arms were spread wide as his eyes shut and head tilted up to the ceiling. A moment of silence from in as he took a couple of deep breathes in before shouting his signature phrase at the top of his lungs.

GLORIOUS !

He lowers his head and a wide grin spreads across the Glorious One's features as he steps away, leaving Renee all alone. We then fade away to the next segment of the night's show.

As we come back from a quick commercial break we see the ring has been changed a little. A desk has been moved to the center of the ring chairs on either side. Also standing in the middle of the ring stands April, the Women's Champ. In one of her hands is a microphone but in the other is a bouquet of flowers. April sets the flowers done and stare at the contract before her. Without hesitation she signs the piece of paper and brings the microphone back to her lips

[April]
These purple flowers in my hand are called hyacinth. I looked it up and saw that they represent regret. They're a good apology flower. I tell you this because I am here to call a cease fire between Peyton Royce and I

The crowd waste no time booing and jeering at that. April is having a heard time trying to figure out if they're dislike stems from what she said or just her in general. The thought makes her frown, but carry on none the less

[April]
I know it doesn't please everyone but it needs to be done. This division has been filled with way too much negativity as is and if I can reach out to someone and try to make peace I will. I've been here. I've been in her shoes before. A new girl with an odd message that just wants to be heard. She isn't so different than I was when I showed up on the scene. If they're one thing I've learned is that you shouldn't just shove someone in a box and label them as crazy just because you don't understand them. Because it will just make them go to that much more of an extreme to be heard

The look in April's eyes tells that she really believes in what she's saying. There are some slight similarities between the women and it's obvious that April truly wants to make amends

[April]
So I sent Peyton a message yesterday. I told her I was here to draw a line in the sand and stop this going into our match at Emergence. I told her I'd bring flowers as an apology and we would settle everything in the ring as Women, not little girls fighting among each other. She never replied but I hold strong to the hope that she will agree. So if you're in the back Peyton, I'd like if you could come out here and we can sign this thing to make it official

April smiles up at the ramp, hopeful that Peyton will come out in a good mood

The crowd reacts in a mixed manner, with a surprising amount of cheers for the floral villain. Peyton appears on the stage, a small assortment of carnations in hand as she descends the ramp and approaches the side of the ring, giving the fans her formal entrance.

Royce stands up on the apron before gracefully finding her place between the ropes, per usual, tangling her legs perfectly along the lines to perch herself comfortably as she keeps an eye on the current Women's Champion.

The Venus Fly Trap finally enters the ring, picking up a spare microphone with her free hand as she begins to eye the contract, the title, and the title-holder. She looks on suspiciously as she eyes the floral offering.

{Peyton Royce}
.. For me?

Peyton verifies, making sure there wasn't any kind of mistake made, and to ensure that she heard the champion properly. After receiving a smile and a nod with an extended bouquet of flowers in her direction, Peyton hesitantly receives them with a small, yet genuine smile on her face. She admires and examines the flowers, making sure they had been properly cared for as she strokes them with her fingertips before setting them down on the table.

{Peyton Royce}
As you can see, I-.. I got you a little something too, April. Here.

The challenger extends her bouquet of carnations, with beautiful and subtle vines accenting the petals.

[April]
Wow...they're beautiful...

April takes the time to bring the flowers to her face and inhale deeply

{Peyton Royce}
They're common, but timeless. I'm sure you'll find carnations have such colorful personalities. They're really appropriate for any occasion.. Oh! Make sure you feed and water them generously twice a day, and don't leave them out in the sun too long-

As April is taking in all of this information, she begins to notice a rash trailing up from her hands, to her arms, and up her collarbone. Peyton simply tilts her head to the side and stares at it with a small grin across her rosy lips as April falls victim to the poison ivy laced in the bouquet of carnations. As April looks up towards Peyton in shock and confusion she's struck right between the eyes with a microphone! April leans back and stumbles forward, as Peyton spins her torso around in a flash, getting that long, lethal leg up for a spinning heel kick right to the exposed throat of the champion! The crowd can't quite be in shock at this point, as Peyton Royce's tricks have become all up an every-day routine at this point. Nevertheless, they boo and cheer, and let the ire be known towards Peyton who looks as if she couldn't care less either way.

Suddenly, as if things couldn't get any kookier, Peyton cracks a disheartening smile. She bends down, seeming as though she is going to care for her future opponent, who she just flattened for the third week in a row, but instead she gently and ever so slowly collects the flowers, as well as a microphone, and stands back to her feet, caressing them lovingly as if she were a doting mother. She pulls the microphone up to her curved, rosy lips, desperately trying to resist a smile.

{Peyton Royce}
I'm going to keep this short because my babies need water, so listen closely.. The women's division in XWL has been plagued by a destructive darkness for an entire year, but next week, all of that comes to a long overdue end.. It's time for this division to flourish, to blossom, to sprout up from the disgusting rubble and debris left behind from the likes of this sick individual.

Peyton turns her attention back to the fallen champion, covered in a festering rash and barely showing signs of life.

{Peyton Royce}
You really wanted to be something special, didn't you?.. Pity, because she didn't choose you, she chose me! I'm the chosen one, April! Not, you, any, more!

Royce has clearly gone off the handle, screaming at the unconscious body of the champion as the challenger struggles to regain her wits, brushing a hand through her magenta hair before cracking another smile back at the camera.

{Peyton Royce}
She knows what I'm capable of, and next week, so will all of you.

The Venus Fly Trap drops her mic to the mat, as half of the crowd boos, while the other half begin to chant: "PEYTON! PEYTON! PEYTON! PEYTON!" which prompts the challenger to smile hysterically as she prances over towards the ropes, soaking in the glory that Mother Nature has bestowed upon her.

She mounts the ropes, egging them on a bit as she bites her lower lip and continues to grin eerily at the odd, cult-like following of some members of the crowd. The camera zooms out a bit as we fade out to an extended commercial break.

I've really enjoyed following things between Peyton & April the last several weeks, it's such a unique story with even more unique elements sprinkled on top to be my personal most anticipated match at Emergence. Great stuff guys!

The cameras pan to the stage as we hear the theme of Alexa Bliss begins to play.

Alexa steps out on to the stage from behind the curtain wearing her leather jacket and bedazzled skull hand fingerless gloves. She begins walking down the ramp with a disgusted look on her face. She steps into the ring requesting a microphone.

Alexa Bliss
The reason i am out here tonight talking to you pathetic losers right now is because i am letting all of you know that the time for playing games is over, i am back to put the whole XWL Women's locker room on notice. That includes you April. You see you may be champion right now but soon enough that title will go around my waist and Further solitify myself as "The Goddess of XWL." That is after i beat you tonight.

Alexa drops the mic as she awaits Sister April.

XWL returns to the ringside area to the ring mat taking on a different color of gray instead of the usual white canvas. In the middle of this gray ring mat, a star took shape and formed the insignia of XWL's Number One Public Enemy, Edge. From this sight it was obvious that the Cutting Edge was the next thing on the agenda, even though it wasn't officially announced in the card. The fans seemed a little puzzled to this happening, but when they recognized the symbol, they rolled their eyes and booed because they didn't want to see the Rated R Superstar go on another rant where he says the same thing, but only rewords himself. As the fans voiced their opinion from behind the barricade, four barstool type chairs were set in the center of the ring. It came to cross the mind why Edge needed four chairs in the ring for the audience. That is when it dawned on the sea of people that Edge called out an old rival last week that he is happening to cross paths with yet again: Broken Matt Hardy. It was then that, even though they hated Edge with a burning passion, the audience was about to experience a war of words and things were about to get intense. As the packed crowd waited for this edition of The Cutting Edge to begin, the last two components were added. A gray carpet, with Edge's insignia was rolled down the stage and ramp and the lights dimmed just slightly, to give a coffee shop kind of vibe almost. It was then they were ready and smoke began to flood the entrance way.

As the sound of Metalingus begins to blare through the speakers in the arena, the mood in the crowd intensifies along with a never ending sound of boos flooding through the entire arena itself. Just the sight, or presence of the Rated R Superstar made every man, woman and child get very irritable; Edge at this point was a master of making people mad and just him being around set people off. Without Edge, even appearing yet, the boos got even louder and louder to the point where you couldn't hear the person next to you. The hatred in the crowd and all across the arena was almost unbelievable-- they hated this man so much. However, no matter what the audience thought this segment was still going to happen, and the fans in attendance were still going to have to see the Best DAMN Wrestler in XWL. In this moment, smoke was flooding the main entrance way where it was to thick to see through, lights were flashing like strobe lights, and as the music faded out for the few seconds the crowd booed to their hardest and loudest and screamed for Edge not to arrive, but it was only inevitable.

As the smoke cleared and the human eye could see through the wall of mist, standing in the entrance way was the Rated R Superstar Edge, along with loyal supporter Lita. As Edge stood on top of the ramp, the crowd began to grow louder in spewing out hatred in many ways including, cursing, booing and throwing punches Edge's way. Staring out into the sea of people Edge has a very big smile on his face as always because in his mind it is comical that he can annoy people this much. To this response, Edge stands on top of the carpet holding Lita's hand and he wraps her in as the crowd erupts into rage. The couple begin laughing before Edge spins Lita out and proceeds down the carpet.

Approaching the ring, Edge helps Lita up the stairs and into the ring before going back to one of the audience members and puts his hands behind his back and sticks out his jaw, asking for a punch. The crowd does nothing in this moment out of shock and Edge begins to laugh at the people who talk a big game but do nothing. As Edge is testing the crowd, Lita grabs a couple microphones for her and Edge and takes a seat on one of the barstools. After a moment, Edge rolls under the bottom rope and waits for his music to fade out before speaking. Edge takes a seat as he begins.

EDGE
Welcome to the Cutting Edge, everyone's favorite Miz T.V. rip off!

The crowd boos at Edge and screams "You're not worthy" chants at him. After they die down, he continues with a grin on his face.

EDGE
You people say I am not worthy, but that is where you all are wrong. You see, unlike you, I am a mature person and I speak and formulate my opinions without my emotions getting in the way. And here is the thing: you filthy idiots underestimate me like you did a long, long time ago... But now I am in a much different position than before. You can boo me all you want, but come Emergence, you are all going to have to live with the fact that I proved each one of you wrong and you are all going to have to sit and listen to ME. YOUR THREE TIME WORLD CHAMPION... But tonight isn't another rant... I've noticed over the past few weeks, every time I have spoken I have gone with a common theme, and it seems really repetitive, but tonight this isn't going to be a monologue where I talk and YOU listen and Lita has to sit through it. No, no, no this is a show and a show has guests. Now for you who actually tune into XWL, you know who my guest is tonight, but for the people who don't know, over the past few weeks, I have sat back and really analyzed my opponent at Emergence, even though I don't even have to.  And I have just sat and thought about the fact over and over I can't stop running into this man no matter where I go, and for over twenty years I have ran into this man, and fought him. But this time around has been different because this man and his title that he carries around has gone to his head and he feels entitled to everything and he only insults me from a far in front of nothing, but a camera. Tonight that changes... You see, I have a few things I have to get off my chest and right here, right now that Broken idiot that passes as a Champion and I are gonna have chat and my mind is going to be made very clear to all of you.

Edge pauses for a moment before continuing, the crowd begins to boo a little, but mostly are listening in.

EDGE
Now if you would please welcome my guest for tonight, the soon to be FORMER World Heavyweight Champion and thorn in my side, Matt Hardy.

The Queen Reby Hardy, who is holding Prince Maxel in one hand close to her body the a mic in the other hand, and Senor Benjamin step out onto the stage. Reby raises the mic up to her lips as she looks down the ramp highly displeased.

.:The Queen Reby Hardy:.
You will not announce The Broken King out to this sad pathetic thing you call a show, and what is that lower class whore doing out here? I originally was not going to come out here so The Broken King can show you up once again, but since that low life came out I came out here to show here what a real woman looks like.

.:The Queen Reby Hardy:.
Now please PEASANTS all over the world PLEASE RISE TO YOUR FEET, AND WELCOME YOUR KING! THE BROKEN KING HIMSELF, MATT HARDY!

The Broken King walks out onto the stage with no hesitation, and the World Heavyweight title around his waist, but it appears he is in a pleasant. The camera shows Corey Graves standing, and clapping his hands.

.:Corey Graves:.
There he is ladies, and gentlemen! Our King who has defended his throne with great ability. He has been beaten yes, but he shall shine against Edge at Emergence proving why this is his kingdom! Show some appreciation Ranallo, and do what The Queen asked of you...

.:Mauro Ranallo:.
He has done a good job backing what he says, but going as far as saying he is king is absolutely absurd! So I will remain in my seat thank you very much.

.:Corey Graves:.

I should have guessed that this would be your way of thinking..

The Broken King begins walking on top of the ramp with his eyes locked with Edge who is standing in the ring. Before walking down the ramp The Broken King halts his advance and from the back, people seeming to resemble his royal guard brings out a throne for The Broken King to sit on. After The Broken King takes a seat on his throne on the top of the ramp, he crosses one leg on top of the other, his eyes remain on Edge, who is down the ramp looking really confused. The Queen, in this moment walks over to the throne and places her hand on his shoulder, her ring shining brightly in the light, and Prince Maxel is still on her waist. Senor Benjamin approaches the throne of The Broken King from the other side in this moment. After the royal family has seemed to have made it's full entrance. The Broken King takes the mic from The Queen as she offers it to him. He firmly grasps it, and raises to his lips as he looks to the crowd

.:The Broken King Matt Hardy:.

PEASANTS you maybe seated, and I thank you for loyalty.

He turns to Edge

.:The Broken King Matt Hardy:.

So now onto you. I am a King that listens to all who dwell within my kingdom. You wish to speak to the King. Well here I stand you dirty PEASANT!! Tell me what you wish, and based upon what you tell me I will see if you shall be punished based on your words. So if I were you I would choose my next words very very carefully, but please be entertaining. You have been running around yelling the same stuff over, and over again. I grow tired of these mind games you attempt to play. So if you are going to continue your rant on the same stuff just do yourself a favor get out of MY KINGDOM AND LEAVE NEVER TO BE HEARD FROM A GAIN!

Edge chuckles a little bit, and runs his fingers through his hair while the crowd cheers for Broken Matt Hardy. After a moment, Edge begins to hang his head and smile while the crowd chants "Lesser-being" followed by five claps and The Broken King is staring down the ramp. Meanwhile, Lita is staring a hole through Reby Hardy and her blood boils at the comment she made. After a second Edge begins to speak again.

EDGE
Hold on just a second there, Matt; there is no need to cut straight to the chase... Damn, you sure know how to run your mouth from a distance, but you've never had it in you to say it to my face. At least the Matt Hardy that was in his right mind would let his actions speak more than he talked. And let me have a moment to be honest, ever since you have gotten that title you boast about so much, you have acted like you have had a chip on your shoulder and that you are God's gift to professional wrestling.. You have this idea in your head that no one can surpass you and no one is good enough to beat you in this ring, and sure that World Championship may support that claim, but this little power trip that you're having is pissing me off.. Matt, you have finally climbed the mountain after TWENTY years in the business, but maybe the reason they never gave you the chance in the first place was because of how you act now... You puff up your chest, and hell you walk around here like Vince, and you scream for people to basically kiss your ass, and it's time someone shut you up.

The crowd gasps for a moment, before Edge continues with this rant. Matt Hardy crosses his arms while the World Heavyweight Championship rest on his shoulder. The Queen Rebecca Hardy takes this opportunity to cover up the Prince's ears from the profanity that is being spoken.

EDGE
And sure, no one may think what I say is true, but it is the truth. You think you're a badass and no one can touch you, but that is all as much as a  fantasy as you are a king. And now because you think you are so high and mighty you can't even say anything to me like a man. Here is the deal, Matt, let's have a conversation man to man, face to face, in this ring. If you got something to say, some "wise" words to insult me with, you can walk down that ramp with step into this ring and say it right in front of me.. I know you got something to say Matt, and I damn sure I have something to say, so why don't you come down here and tell us what's on your mind. As whoever the hell she is she can come to--.

As He was going on, Lita grabs the mic from Edge, the crowd kind of marvel at what she has got to say. It is obvious she has beef with someone though.

Lita
You mean that excuse of a "real woman" that Matt calls a wife? That bitch can stay locked up in her palace, she has no reason to be here. You can't even defend yourself-- the only reason people tolerate you being backstage with your son is because of your husband's fame. And let's be honest, Reby is it? You're not exactly no woman, you only got Matt because he wasn't all good in the head. No other man was attracted to you, and I may dress in loose clothing, but Edge is the only man I'll ever need. Now if you could do us all a favor, shut your mouth for once and go home. You're not welcomed here.

The crowd echoes with an "OOHH" throughout the arena. Edge begin to laugh as Reby Hardy, and Matt's eyes begin to widen. Edge chimes back in after a moment with a huge grin.

EDGE
What do you got to say Matt?... What's that Reby?.. Now I set up this ring for the men to talk, not the woman to fight. How about you take your lazy ass, walk down this ramp, and GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT. For once, I'm willing to play ball, don't disappoint them Matt.

.:The Broken King Matt Hardy:.

Fine I did this for both of your safety, but you wanna be thrown in the brutal force of The King, and Queen? Just remember I allowed you to come out here. I was kind enough to let you make your PROCLAMATION before you asked me to come into my domain, and end it.

The Broken King stands to his feet after sitting in his throne, and the arena grows quite as the anticipation builds.

.:Corey Graves:.
I don't think Edge realizes what he has done. This may spell the end for him, and Lita here tonight. They may not even make it to Emergence. What do you think Ranallo?

.:Mauro Ranallo:.
I think Edge is treading in deadly waters, because The Broken King has been on fire as of late, and I don't think even Edge can stop him.

The Broken King begins walking down the ramp with The Royal Family behind him. As they reach the end of the ramp The Queen turn to Senor Benjamin, and hands off Prince Maxel.

.:The Queen Rebecca Hardy:.
Please take care of The Prince

.:Senor Benjamin:.
Don't worry he is in good hands.

The Queen Rebecca turns towards the ring, and she steps forward taking her place next to The Broken King. He turns to his left, and walks up the steel steps his eyes locked on Edge. The Queen Rebecca follows close behind. The Broken King sits on the second rope, and pushes up on the top rope giving plenty of room for The Queen to enter the ring. She smiles at his politeness even in the most serious moments. She steps in between the ropes, and enters the ring. The Broken King then finally gets into the ring still with the microphone in hand.

.:The Broken King Matt Hardy:.
Okay. Now speak damn it! I demand to hear what you wanna say. You wanna show you have a pair step forward, and speak to The Broken King I am all ears...

EDGE
I am sick and tired of YOU, Matt. I am sick and tired of that smug look on your face because you have finally tasted a little bit of what it is like to do something big for your career. You think you have power because you have that belt, but it literally means nothing after this long in your career. I mean let's face the facts Matt, up until this point, every Damn time I step in front of you turn into a different person. Matt Hardy V-One, Matt Hardy V-Two, "Broken" Matt Hardy, you do all these things to change yourself, but it doesn't even do anything to help you. If anything you hurt yourself, every time you turn more and more into a sociopath , all because you don't get enough attention from the crowd-- because Vince doesn't want to push you, but he sure as hell pushed your brother to the fuckin' moon, and now your holding back his potential... It is time you realized something after all this time Matt: maybe Matt Hardy isn't supposed to be a wrestler, and I think the way you got that title and even got this far in general is a fluke. But then again, twenty years without success would drive anyone mad, and it makes me wonder why these people actually buy into this shit. YOU ARE A NOBODY. Your story is the equivalent to an ordinary man winning the lottery. You got lucky.

The crowd echoes back in with a slight "OOH" sound. Even though what he is saying is repetitive, Edge for once is making a point and right now it seems the crowd is kind of behind him. Mostly shocked silent though, meanwhile The Broken King hasn't really said much and has let Edge do a majority of the talking, and one thing was certain Edge was not done.

EDGE
Let me ask you this Matt-- this is a show, How does it feel that the title that you are holding right now was GIVEN to you? That you luckily didn't have to fight The Undertaker or other giants in the Final Stand and then have R-Truth job to you? Sorry fourth wall. Matt, your title reign has been nothing special, but you treat it like it is the greatest thing known to man, and you didn't get a legit defense until Rollins wanted to stick his nose where it didn't belong, meanwhile I bust my ass without the support of these people.. And I earn what I made. I emerged back here over a year ago and I scraped and clawed my way to this moment while you showed up a few months ago and were basically gifted the World Heavyweight Championship. You were never supposed to be champion, you were supposed to be a comic relief and now that you are champion it bugs me even more because you don't even know how to present yourself because your ego is too damn big.. I am a former Two Time World Champion, but I at least acted like my brain was fully functional and I wasn't a five year old girl who wanted to be royalty.

Edge pauses for a moment before continuing, the crowd is still reacting to that last line shouting "pretty-princess" followed by five claps before continuing.

EDGE
I guess, what I am trying to say Matt: I am tired of fighting you... You have never been on my level yet I am forced to keep fighting you without you knowing humility. And now more than ever, that I am being forced to fight you, I want to shut you up; I want to destroy you and make you understand humility, and at Emergence when I take that Championship and silence you and your filthy family maybe you'll learn.

The Broken King laughs to himself then runs his left hand through his hair, and then finally raises the mic up to his lips, and begins to speak.

.:The Broken King Matt Hardy:.
You are done talking now. It is my turn to speak, and when I am done you may speak once again, but until then keep your mouth shut, and if you dare try to speak again i'll shut you up, and make sure you don't make it to Emergence. I hope I make myself clear.

The Broken King pauses as he looks directly at Edge with a burning passion of anger in his eyes. Edge remaining quite listens to what The Broken King has to say.

.:The Broken King Matt Hardy:.

Those other versions of myself you faced have been DELETED! As my soul has emerged from sleep as it is over two thousand years old. I am far from a nobody. I am MORE. You think the victory over Brother Scodrick was a mere fluke? No that was DESTINY at it's mere finest. This was the person I was born to become, and your just mad that this opportunity was not present before you. I was chosen by The Seven Deities, because I was diamond that was yet to be polished, and they saw the potential within me. They knew it was my time to shine. That is why I won The Final Stand-Off, but you must not have been impressive cause from what I heard your name wasn't even discussed for it.

Edge raises the mic up to his lip, and is about to speak

.:The Broken King Matt Hardy:.

I AM NOT DONE YET! Don't you dare even thinking about opening your big flap before I am finished..

Edge slowly lowers his mic as the crowd "OHHH"'s in disbelief that Edge is even listening.

.:The Broken King Matt Hardy:.
You keep bragging that you are a two time World Heavyweight champion. Well there is a reason why you aren't right now, and you are looking at the reason, and as for your little theory of not fighting The Undertaker. Did you forget he was in the Final Stand-Off? Yes he may have been eliminated by Dean Ambrose, but I bet the damage I did to him was more then enough to cause him to be eliminated. Also yet another time I fought The Deadman I stood toe to toe with him yet the outcome wasn't what I wanted. We both pinned each other, and yet you still don't think my reign has been special. I have been a fighting champion no matter who has stepped up I have taken their challenge, because I fight to defend my Kingdom. Like when you were given your first chance at glory since your return. Are you just gonna stand there, and act like it didn't happen? Because I pinned you, and yet you still call me don't think I am capable of anything. If that's true what does that say about you Edge? Are you..

The Broken King smiles as he looks into the eyes of Edge.

.:The Broken King Matt Hardy:.
Are you losing your touch? Is it possible you just don't have what it takes anymore, but your willing to do anything to put yourself under the spotlight. That is why you force this shrew women out of her cardboard box in Florida, because without she will never amount to anything. She is jealous of The Queen Rebecca has. I mean we have a glorious life together. We have a beautiful son who is the sole heir to the throne, and it shakes you to your very core that perfection is no where near you. Even if you somehow come out of Emergence victorious I will always be MORE, and...

The Broken King appears to be in thought as his blank face goes back, and forth from a blank expression until finally a sinister smile grows upon his face.

.:The Broken King Matt Hardy:.

Even faced with a loss I always find victory. I will go done as one of the best XWL has ever seen, and your name will be behind mine Edge. I in fact will always be better than you. Oh.. and I think The Queen wishes to speak

The Queen is handed a mic by The Broken King.

.:The Queen Reby Hardy:.

Lita you see I am like a fine wine that has been aged to perfection while you. Your just Bud Light. A cheap ass beer that is willing to go home with anyone. The thing that crosses my mind I just wonder how Edge here had to pay in order to get you for the past what three weeks? You must have a huge bill racking up, because by the looks of Lita she probably charges a lot, but minimal action. Am I right Edge?

Before Edge can say anything, Lita beats him to the punch, she has a fire in her eyes.

Lita
Reby. It's funny how you insult me, but we established this earlier, YOU'RE no fine wine, you take the appearance of it because of your husband. You married into fame, and really if we are being honest you are just really redneck, hillbilly, trailer trash and think you are elegant. You sap off his career, and you will probably never learn how to get your hands dirty for yourself.. Wait a minute, you already did once, hitching up with that moron. You want to judge me off of first looks, and talk a big game, go for it. But you better be ready for your face to not look so pretty afterwards. Now do us all a favor, get your son, let the men talk, and shut your mouth.

The crowd is eating this encounter up and Edge was shocked to hear those words from Lita. However, Edge had to make a quick recovery on the mic. The ring was starting to get even more tense.

EDGE
As for you Matt, you have made some valid points; You did pin me at Cyberslam, but in all honesty, you didn't win, you survived and that was just Matt Hardy being at the right place at the right time. And you being more remembered than I am is a joke in itself; the only thing you have done that has made heads turn was you winning that belt and headlining a Pay-per-view with ME. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN BETTER THAN YOU, AND IT WILL STAY THE SAME... You think I am losing my touch? Matt you didn't even have anything to work with for twenty, LONG, damn years. You have finally done something for yourself for once and now you think you are the best. You forget that I put you on my back and got you over for years, you have done nothing of value until now! Meanwhile, I have gotten younger talent over, I went toe to toe, one on one with Matt Sydal and won. I am still turning heads wherever I go and that's a fact. And you want to question if I lost my touch.  I am building a legacy, whether you or these people agree with it or not, and at Emergence I am going to take that Title hold it over your head and show the world my legacy is still growing. And at Emer--

The Broken King mutters out, "you won't be able to beat the King." and Edge goes off.

EDGE
ENOUGH OF THIS "KING" BULLSHIT. I have had enough Matt; you don't know how to act like a champion. This isn't Edge talking to Broken Matt Hardy, this Adam Copeland talking to Matthew Hardy. You're not a champ, your a chump and at Emergence I am winning that title, and I am ending this curse of me fighting you over and over again. I AM GOING TO BEAT YOU, AND I AM SO CONFIDENT, I AM GOING TO PUT MY CAREER ON THE LINE. It's way past time we ended this and at Emergence I am going to win that title even if it means ending my career as a professional wrestler, I hope you're ready to lose that fuckin' belt because I am going to show no mercy and I will show you the meaning of being RATED R.

Edge and Lita at this moment begin to exit the ring. As they do the crowd is losing it's marbles to that announcement. Edge will leave XWL if he loses at Emergence. As the two get to ringside and begin walking up the ramp, with their backs turned to the Royal Family,The Broken King speaks again and Edge turns and looks over his shoulder, while the crowd is going nuts.

The Broken King eyes narrow as a smile begins to form across his face as if he is amused by what Edge has said.

.:The Broken King Matt Hardy:.
What a WONDERFUL idea! I SHALL DELETE YOU! It has been quite some time since a DELETION has come to the fold. I shall feast upon your soul, and making myself even more powerful! You will be kicked out of my Kingdom at Emergence. You shall be sent to the Realm of DELETION to never be heard from again, but so you are not alone I shall send you with your winch. SEE YOU AT EMERGENCE, and it will be your last show!!

The Broken King throws down the mic along with the World Heavyweight title. The Royal Family together as a whole begin doing their trade mark DELETE taunt as we go to commercial break.

Main Event

Tag Team Match

Anarchy returns from its final commercial break for the evening as tonight's Main Event is moments from being underway. This tag team match involving all four of the competitors involved in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at Emergence must first align themselves with an unlikely ally before their fateful encounter at said Pay-Per-View: Finn Balor taking the form of The Miz's tag team partner and the two Superstars already in the ring in Cactus Jack and Sami Zayn. There is no love lost between all four men but they must walk into tonight's match first before they reach their destination and fight for the opportunity to become this year's Mr. Money in the bank, an opportunity each man believes is rightfully theirs.

As Cactus and Zayn await the arrival of their opponents, the theme of the first, Finn Balor, begins to play throughout the arena, to an overly negative reaction from the live audience in attendance. The duo in the ring are chomping at the bit, waiting for Balor to make his way into the ring so this contest can be that much closer to its conclusion. In an uncharacteristic manner, Balor's theme continues to play but there's no sign of him making his presence felt other than his theme playing, a miscue perhaps?

Quiet on the set!

Can we please have quiet on the set?

Darkness falls over the arena as Balor's theme comes to an abrupt end, causing the intro of his partners theme to take its place. A number of images fill the Titantron, the sound of a camera flashing as its taking pictures fills the air for all but a few seconds before it comes to a halt.

AWESOME!

The theme of The Miz begins to play, yielding a similar reaction to that of his unlikely partner for the evening. Many moments pass and again, just like Balor before him, The Miz doesn't appear on the stage, leaving both men in the ring on the verge of annoyance while the crowd opts for confusion. The saying “Fool me once” comes to mind, surely the first was a mistake but two times? After a few seconds of nothingness filling the air, Zayn opts to look towards the ringside area to get some answers, but they are just as clueless as he is. Is this all part of the plan to get into the heads of their opponents not only tonight but also at Emergence, or is there something else to blame?

The question quickly finds its answer as a video feed begins to play on the Titantron, a shaking camera running forward past closed doors and open corridors, twisting and turning as the sound of commotion gets louder with every passing second. When the camera man reaches the scene of the alleged crime, everything becomes clear: Balor and The Miz's disappearance is due to the fact that they were picking up where their match left of just seven days prior.

Unloading rights and lefts into one another, both Balor and The Miz couldn't wait until Emergence to get their hands on one another and one General Manager's hopeful tag team match involving the Money in the Bank Ladder Match competitors days prior to the event just went up in flames. Just when it seemed that this test of durability would result in a draw, one stray forearm was all that was needed to put Finn Balor in the drivers seat, giving him control of this brawl.

The Miz staggers back, begin caught off guard by the strike, but that quickly turns out to be a miztake as that's exactly what Balor wanted, charging forward and wrapping his arm around The Miz's waist, slamming him back first into the nearby crate, causing XWL's resident “Most Must See Superstar” to fall to the concrete floor with a hand on his lower back.

Not wanting to give him a moment to breathe, Balor lifts The Miz up off the floor and wraps his arm around his head, forcefully dragging him down one of the many corridors backstage until he finds a door that is slightly ajar and takes the opportunity to shove The Miz into the room with as much force as he could muster, causing the door swing open and collide with the wall, nearly causing it to close itself.

As the cameraman tries to reposition himself to get as much as he could into the shot, Balor takes a step into the room, causing the sound of steel meeting flesh to echo throughout the corridor as Balor staggers backwards, his hands managing to cover his face from the steel chair that was just thrown at him by The Miz. Again, he tries to enter the room, this time with purpose, but the door is literally slammed on his face, forcing him to take a few steps backwards, dazed, only being stopped by the wall opposite of the door.

While this is playing on the Titantron, the camera cuts back into the ring as both Sami Zayn and Cactus Jack are looking on intently in hopes that one will take out the other just days before their encounter at Emergence. They're eyes are glued to the Titantron as Balor tries to break into the room to get his hands on The Miz, who needs an exit strategy when the door inevitably goes down. But why eagerly anticipate one of your opponents being forcefully removed from the match when you can do it yourself. Balor gives the door one swift boot as the door seems to come off its hinges, Balor runs in but is immediately met with a chair shot courtesy of The Miz. Miz and Maryse make their way down to the stage before Balor realizes what has happened. Sami is seen laughing as he is obviously enjoying this, he turns to Cactus to share a chuckle. Cactus chuckles with him but almost immediately loses the smile and plants Sami with a DDT! Sami rolls out of the ring as Cactus slides out and searches under the ring, Cactus grabs out Barbie to the cheers of the XWL Universe, cheers turn to jeers as he makes his way to Sami. Cactus rubs the nasty and somewhat rusted barbwire on Sami's forehead cause him to bleed. The jeers only get louder as he shoves some of the bloodied barbwire into his almost toothless mouth as if almost savoring what he's done. Miz has made it to the ramp now but stops in his tracks when he sees what Cactus has done. Cactus slides into the ring baiting Miz to come after him, Miz still having the chair in hand shakes his head and starts to back up. The crowd cheers again as Miz ignores it still backing up, he stumbles as he seemed to back up into something, the camera pans out as we see a bloody Finn Balor staring down the back of Miz's head blood pouring into his eyes from the chair shot. Miz has not turned around but his eyes widen as he hear Maryse scream like never before and run towards the ring. Miz slowly turns around and finally spots Finn Balor who meets him with a swift punch sending him into the apron. Balor whales on Miz then throws him into the ring as he follows him. Miz is now standing up in the ring between Cactus and Balor. Cactus and Balor charge Miz, but out of nowhere Maryse has made it into the ring and tackles Miz to the ground! Cactus nails Balor with Barbie and sends him flying to the outside this has given Miz the chance he needs, Miz sneaks up behind Cactus and hits him with the Skull Crushing Finale! Doctors come rushing down to check on Balor and Sami as blood is just covering their faces now. Miz straightens his suit as Maryse holds his hand high, we fade out to the closing screen as Miz seems to have stood tall here tonight.
