XWL Survey June 2017 Empty
PostSubject: XWL Survey June 2017   XWL Survey June 2017 Icon_minitimeThu Jun 08, 2017 7:11 pm

Periodically the admin team likes to throw out a survey for EVERY member to respond to, whether they've been here a week, a month, a year or more. This is to pick their brain and gain a different perspective from our own. Maybe we've loved an idea and you hated it, tell us, and explain why so that we can see things from your point of view, and maybe make necessary changes to line up better with your beliefs. So please, make it a priority to answer these questions as honestly as possible. Your opinion will not upset us, what will upset us is if we could have changed something to improve your experience, and you don't tell us. This is an open forum for everyone to let their voices be heard, and members are encouraged to give their thoughts on others ideas and answers, just remember to do so respectfully, thank you.

The Survey

What is your favorite thing about XWL?

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?

The Administrative team has recently been talking about the way Special Events are presented. We currently have special events lasting two weeks and they take place about once every two months. Do you like that system? Would you rather see us go back to a system of us having them be once a month? Or perhaps a merger of the current and the past? Is two weeks too long for the duration of those events or just enough time?

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?

What is your overall opinion of XWL?  Why?

Optional Question

Pitch us an idea to improve the overall experience of XWL, it could pertain to the site, the titles, the booking, the shows, anything.

What's your favorite thing about XWL?
Name a better place where you can have fun, talk to other wrestling fans, play the game without having to deal with the struggle of online spammers and essentially book dream feud after dream feud. That's right. You can't.

What's your least favorite?
Sometimes people can take things a little too serious around here. Something doesn't go the way they wanted and they begin to act like children. I'm not going to go and name anyone specfically or anything because I don't want to throw anyone under the bus, but there have been a handfull of times that I can name where people have got pissy and acted like children over the dumbest things. This is a league. We are admins. This isn't your daycare and we aren't your babysitters while Mom and Dad are at work. Act your age, guys.... and Sam.

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?
No issues, except one but that's not even anyone's fault really. Sometimes Sasha's booking feels a bit repetive but that is because of how little women there are in the division. I'm fine being booked all the time as Sasha but with Brock, I enjoy having the week off every now and then with him. I'm clearly trying to build the character that he currently has in WWE with my own twist so the more time off he has, the more realistic it feels.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?
I love all the championships and even though I've said it a million times by now, I'm still not a fan of how the Elite Championship is packaged as... some kind of gimmick-ish championship or whatever. I'd rather it just be made into a normal legitimate championship and remove any special things from it.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?
I think we've got a solid lineup. Josh is going to make a great World Champion. Matt is going to do a solid job with his Intercontinental Championship. Fro is going to kill it with the Elite Championship. Lazy has and still is doing an awesome job carrying the Women's Championship on his back. Though, ironically, I think the best scene is the Elite Championship. Even though I don't love the title, I do love Fro's Undertaker and I think having him at the top of that division was a good call by us admins.

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?
If you've worked hard and been active then you should be considered for a championship. I think us admins have been pretty fair with the choices we've made. We have been giving more chances as of late and some people have taken the ball and done a good job at running with it so far. Don't think it could be fairer on our part.

Do you think The Miz should get a World Heavyweight Championship match? - Legal
Yes.

I'll admit that I have a love-hate relationship with the way things are done because on one end I do enjoy how things are currently but on the other, I do wish that there was more events. Sometimes it can be a long, dragged out period of time between events. Sometimes it's nice because we get so much time to really do things and there isn't a thing that feels rushed. Other times it feels like it's too much time to plan stuff out. I don't really know what I'd rather see because it's hard to really work out a system that works out well unless we dropped down to single week special events which I'm not sure if I want for some pretty obvious reasons. More time = less stress.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?
I personally don't have an opinion on it considering the two characters I play were both kept at their in-game overall and I haven't spent a single point yet. Others seem to enjoy it and I haven't really heard many complaints about it. I feel like it does make XWL it's own enigma by giving Matt Sydal and others a realistic XWL overall instead of the 82 or so he'd be stuck with considering he ain't shit in real life really.

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?
#BringBackBang2017

What is your overall opinion of XWL?  Why?
I've been with XWL for a long while and my opinion stays the same always. There isn't a better place than here when it comes to leagues. Sorry, SOOL. You just can't get any better than XWL. We have a bunch of cool members and a bunch of cool everything on here. We give everyone a chance to shine, especially as of late, and you can't get a better league owner than David. He puts up with a lot of shit but he's still one of the nicest, understanding yet hardass guys I've met.

What is your favorite thing about XWL?

I like being able to work with other people to build an evolving storyline. The (generally) cooperative storytelling aspect is really cool.

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?

I wish there were more active members, that way there could be more options for feuds and storylines. I'd love to see a bursting roster of all kinds of people going crazy with XWL.

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

I'm pretty happy with the way I've been booked. I'd like to be booked every week unless otherwise stated. Maybe introduce some variation into match types.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?

I don't have any problems with the current championships. I think the matches happen just enough. If they were too frequent it would devalue the opportunity of the match.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

I think all of the champions are working hard enough to deserve their championships. I'm slightly biased, but I enjoy the IC scene, and the Women's scene probably has the best storytelling of all of them. I think it is important for the challengers to put in as much work if not more than the champion to really help build the story up. Personally, I want to improve on creating longer and more detailed promos.

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?

I think the amount of effort put forth should be the main factor in whether or not a title shot is given. Wins are important, but someone that is consistently knocking out promos and matches every week deserves a shot. I think it has been fair when deciding this.

I think the best method would be to have more events because it would allow for storylines to evolve at an appropriate pace. As of now it can become kind of tedious to try to stretch out the same feud for two months while still keeping it fresh. I think two weeks is good for the "Bigger" events but for smaller ones a week would be suitable.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

I wasn't around for the old system so I don't have any input on this.

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?

I think the posters are awesome! I think the person on the poster should be someone who has went above and beyond for their storyline. I'm sure it's been done, but having more than one person on it could be interesting if the situation warrants it.

What is your overall opinion of XWL?  Why?

I love it. I've had a lot of fun watching Barrett grow and rise up the ladder. The people on here are awesome and I'm really glad Josh talked me into joining. I'd also like to see more input from people that aren't admins. Every single person is vital to this community and it would be good if more people offered up their opinions and ideas outside of this type of survey. The admins do their best to make sure it is as fun and smooth as possible but we aren't the only ones here; if there is something you'd like to see feel free to bring it up. I know I'm willing to listen and I'm sure the others are too.

Optional Question
Pitch us an idea to improve the overall experience of XWL, it could pertain to the site, the titles, the booking, the shows, anything.

Maybe create some sort of incentive for people to play as a female superstar? There is a lot of potential in the division but there are so few people that participate in it that I could see the feud becoming limited.

What is your favorite thing about XWL?

The fact that it's an online league that's been surviving and thriving for like what 6-7 years now? that's just unheard of. I like being in a place that has history, stories, and I like being able to make memorable matches and moments with the people here, it's a chill environment for the most part to be around and I don't think it's too far fetched to say that we're probably one of thee last or possibly the last functioning online wrestling league out there, don't quote me on it cause I could be wrong but I got a feeling we're one of the last ones going, and that makes me personally wanna contribute as much as I can to ensure that this place keeps going strong for years and years to come.

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?
Currently? the only thing really bothering me about XWL right now is the current event schedule. I'll go into more detail once I get to that question about events below.

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

When it comes to AJ Styles, I don't mind being left off some weeks, I've built his character to a level where it's like, yeah sure he doesn't have the World Title right now, but due to his contract and the high level feuds/encounters he's had over the last year, that he's (in his opinion) the face of xwl. A main event style almost special attraction that doesn't need to be booked every week. As for Joe, currently yeah I'd prefer to be booked more often then not since I've still got a long way to go before building that kind of rep like I have with AJ with Joe.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?
I honestly think their needs to be more frequent championship matches if I'm honest with you, every now and then I feel Anarchy should be taken to the next level by having a title match in the main event. Like I said, every now and then, no need to like overdue it and have one every show or something, but idk, maybe once a month pick a title and have it be defended in the main event of an Anarchy or something. And when I say defended, I don't mean pre-determined outcome either, I mean I wanna see real defenses where 2 or however many guys are in the match give it their all to walk away with that title.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?
I feel like they absolutely deserve their titles, if there's one thing that's 100% true around here, it's the fact that you have to earn your place, you've gotta earn your title shot, and if you walk out the champion? then you've damn sure earned it. Lazy, Harmon, Taco, and Fro have all worked their asses off to get where they are now, and anyone who would question their place as a champion right now would be foolish. As for which title scene is the best right now? I'd probably say the Elite or IC title scene tbh, lots of hungry competitors going after those 2 titles and working their asses off to get people paying attention to them, I love it. As for how the other scenes can improve? that's a tough one, when it comes to the Women's title, the honest answer is that we need more Women to fill out that division and help bring some freshness to the already established main players within that division. When it comes to the world title? I mean the fucking thing's "Broken" so call up 1-800 Mr. Fix It and figure out a way to fix that scene cause I ain't got the answers.

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?
I think you guys have done a pretty darn good job on deciding contenders and whatnot, although I feel maybe it needs to be a little more organic and a little less of admins choosing contenders per say. I think what we really need are more #1 contenders matches around here tbh, like say you guys are looking hard at 2 people for title contention, rather then give them both a shot and making the champ defend in a triple threat at like every other ppv, why not just take the 2 guys and throw em in a high stakes contenders match to decide who earns the right to face the champ. I think we need more of that around here, that slight competitiveness to give people the drive and determination to go out their and put all out on the line and see who earns the right to a true #1 contender.

Yeah I 100% believe we need to change the way events work around here, the whole 1 ppv every 2 months thing is starting to take it's toll at least on me personally, having to find ways to drag a feud out for 8 weeks and then get to the show and not have it go up for another 2 weeks, so basically 10 weeks total per special, It's just way too long IMO. I think we need to go back to either 1 ppv a month, or 1 every 5-6 weeks and when it comes to the show itself it needs to just go down to 1 week, the 2 week time that show run just totally kills momentum IMO, I know people want more time and whatnot but personally, every PPV that comes around, I see the opener go up on time as usual, but then after that,  nothing gets posted until like the last weekend of the show, so there's literally usually like a whole week and a half of nothing being posted besides the opener and it's just pointless to me at this point. I think we go down to 4-5 weeks per event and make em just like any other show with the 1 week deadline and things will be so much more exciting around here again, more chances for people to be on posters and see cool match graphics and stuff and it'll be SOOOOO much easier on feuds IMO.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

I think it's been good, it's served it's purpose, no problems with it at all tbh.

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?
No matter who's been chosen the designers have done a pretty fantastic job for the most part on making some sick posters. I do think we should have more multi man posters though, I think that would be cool.

What is your overall opinion of XWL?  Why?
The best online wrestling league to be apart of bar none.

Optional Question
Pitch us an idea to improve the overall experience of XWL, it could pertain to the site, the titles, the booking, the shows, anything.
I do think the Elite title should be re-branded to something like a U.S. or Global championship or something, I never liked the whole gimmicky Elite thing from the start and even though it's moved away from that for the most part, I still just don't really fancy that title tbh. New name, New title belt design, no gimmicks, just a fresh start as an actual non gimmicky championship. Let's see it guys. Other then that, I guess I'll just re-echo what I said above, Have NON PRE DETERMINED title matches main event Anarchy every now and then, have more #1 contenders matches to choose a contender rather then forcing the champ into a multi man situation every darn ppv, make those guys earn that #1 contender spot. Complete rebrand and redesign of the Elite title, and most importantly of all, A major shakeup to the ppv system around here, go back to every month or every 5 weeks and take away the 2 week length of it and drop it back down to the normal 1 week deadline.

The Survey

What is your favorite thing about XWL?
Well, coming from SOOL this place is a lot less stressful is the way to put I guess, because over there losses counted against you. Here it's so relaxed, and everyone  is real easy to talk to. Coming in I wasn't sure about this place, but after finally being here a year I can say happily XWL is better than SOOL.

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?

How long the time periods are between ppvs. Sometimes let's face it when get into feuds every once in a great while one person will drop the ball, and it will lead to one person doing all of the work. Trust me, I have been there, and it sucks you don't want it to drag out for six weeks, but if PPVs came quicker it would lessen up that pain of that. That is my only gripe.

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

I believe us Admins together as a team have established a great job in booking. We all get a chance to fight each other instead of like WWE 2K17 in career mode where I faced Rusev for EIGHT FUCKING MONTHS straight. I believe that all my characters haven been booked accordingly, and I never mind being booked weekly as I love playing the game even though sometimes the servers can be shit..

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?

It's honestly nice to see new faces within the title picture. Here I would like to congratulate Taco, and Fro for their victories at Downpour. As for title matches I believe we have a pretty good pace here on how often they happen, and we should keep it exactly the way it is.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

I think all the champions here so far have done a fantastic job. I look forward to seeing what the new faces to the titles can bring. The best title scene to me is a tie between Elite, and the I.C. The competition within these areas is outstanding. All the competitors have been firing on all cylinders, and I look forward to seeing what you all can do in the near future!

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?

Honestly the system we have now is probably what works best. I believe it has to be someone the Admin team can fully agree that deserves it. A hundred times yes I believe we have been very fair when it comes to decision making for which two people will fight over the number one contendership.

I like how long our PPVs last actually. It gives people some time to rest after putting in a hard effort. Like I said before we should have PPVs more often maybe once a month maybe a good direction, but I don't know how well it could be executed. I think us as a team need to speak out, and give us your opinions so we can see what exactly would be the best route!

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

I love this points system where we can turn anybody into a somebody with our own hard work. It drives people to work harder with their characters so they can make their character just the way they want them. It was an awesome change for XWL. Also I would like to formally apologize for the points not being updated as of late my father is in the hospital, and I have been more focused on going up there to see him every day. The points will be officially updated and we shall return to our normal weekly updates after he returns home. Thank you for reading this!

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?

Austin does an incredible job making these posters. I wish I had the skill to make stuff just like this, but I don't got skills like that. I believe that we have been doing a great job picking who should be on the poster. It rewards people for their hard work, and its us also showing our appreciation towards them with it.

What is your overall opinion of XWL?  Why?

The best damn league I have ever been apart of.

Optional Question
Pitch us an idea to improve the overall experience of XWL, it could pertain to the site, the titles, the booking, the shows, anything.

I think we need to find a way to get people to pick up female superstars. I see the division starting to slowly dwindle downward, but still thriving on story. I am sure if we had more participants within it may actually be the best division. Hopefully more people within the near future shall be joining!

Well, when everything you like is changed and you didn't voice how you felt about everything in particular then I guess you'll see the importance in voicing that opinion next time. Very disappointed in the lack of actual member participation in this, this isn't a survey for just admins and Stunner, but I guess that just gives me more to speak about when I do mine.

What is your favorite thing about XWL?

I love telling stories, creating different characters, building someone from the ground up in a way like I did with Sydal and Layla specifically. I love being able to go in game with someone and have an awesome match.

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?

Honestly, this isn't something I can just name one thing off for, because if I'm honest there's a few things. For example, look no further than this Survey, in the past this has been a huge tool to bring out the opinion of EVERY member, notice I said EVERY MEMBER, not just admins, not the just the person that came to us, and expressed their desire to change the current standard when it came to Special Events. No, it's for every member, whether they like everything or not, to state their OPINION on matters such as the questions above. And I even had this revised before it was posted to take out needless questions, so the fact that anyone could think this is too long, or they didn't feel like it really frustrates me, because I bust my ass, as do the other admins to provide this place for you, and for any member to not see the importance in this, that baffles me. So you don't see the importance in voicing "I love everything because such and such so don't change it. Well then when we ditch the current ppv concept, when we get rid of titles, when we get rid of the women's division, when it goes back to only world titles main-eventing ppvs, when we get rid of EVERYTHING you like, simply because you never told us you liked it, then I guess you'll understand, if you don't already, why this is important to get YOUR feedback.

I didn't wanna rant but honestly this is for open honesty, to be raw to be candid, to state what I feel and what I feel strongly about is the fact that it takes a couple of minutes to respond to this if you're not super into doing this kind of thing, so there is no excuse.

My second least favorite thing is the fact that people take things too seriously, for example, we had a new member that seemed like a great addition, but apparently losing his first 3 matches somehow tainted the enjoyment he EXPRESSED in having, and now he's ignoring us and quietly left. See this is why communication is important, voicing yourself because he probably despite me repeatedly stating losses did not hurt him, thought they did. Also matches, people either get so into a title match that they try to end it quicker than a normal match, or they try hard and then makes excuses after as if they couldn't help themselves. All matches, no matter what they are, should be played for fun and the outcome is the outcome after all of that. People need to realize that a match being for a title doesn't mean you suddenly have to "accidentally" stall a finisher, or do a finisher directly after kicking out when you're supposed to back off, or you spam the same moves, or you run too much because you're afraid of losing your title, or you stop going for pins when you normally do because you dont wanna give someone momentum for kicking out because if they get a sig you might then lose.

This is for fun, yes it takes a certain level of seriousness, but winning a title does not make your life better, losing it does not suddenly destroy your very existence. So do not head into a match as if the outcome will. For example, Natalya Vs April. I was stressed about the impending outcome of that, but I didn't let that affect how I played. I wanted that win more than any win ever, it feels like it's gonna be forever until I get that character back I lost all 4 matches in that feud, and going into that I wanted that, Lazy knew it, everyone knew it, but I didn't let that change how I played. I still went for nearfalls, still went for finishers when he could easily reverse them, still didn't try to end it too soon because the match was the most important aspect, not the outcome. And losing that hurt deeply because it feels like I'll never redeem it, but I don't regret not being a try hard, not doing finishers when he had no reversals or trying to do finishers when he had no stamina so he couldn't res. I wanted most of all a fun match and while the outcome hurt, the match was what I wanted, what we both wanted, and im not suddenly depressed because I lost. It happened, just have to roll with the punches, simple.

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

I think booking is fair, to give an inside perspective to the outsiders we recently changed how booking was done/the card organization and I'm the happiest I've ever been with it so I think we finally solved the age old "Ugh booking" problem. I think we need to be more creative, I feel like we're not, but we'll get there.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?

I like the titles, personally like Elite but I understand people not liking it. I just don't see the point in removing it for like U.S or something that's essentially the same as I.C. When we had both, one was better, one was worse, yet they were supposed to be on the same level, so having 2 of the same titles just feels like what's the point? Elite at least stands out for what we tried to inititally do, and have sort of laxed a bit but still done after the fact.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

I'm really proud of the current champions, to give a shoutout to one in particular? Honestly Fro. The guy has come a LONG way, we had a lot of reservations about putting him in a title position because match wise he needed some work but he's hitting his stride, both match and promo wise. It's awesome to see a great Undertaker, he's always been a character that's been wasted, so I'm really happy with Fro and I look forward to what his reign brings. I don't really think the others need to improve, just in my biased opinion based on a number of things Fro has just taken this opportunity and ran with it to really show what he's made of, and every champion is, but seeing that rise to it, as opposed to people you already know are at that level I feel like that brings more hype. Because this was his chance to show what he's made of, and he's seized that opportunity and then some.

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?

We do need to do more contenders matches, but the issue lately is we've had these matches we wanted specifically for that next PPV so we didn't wanna risk that not being as strong of a match as we hoped. With I.C last time it was really tough because we wanted both Gohard and Taco to get an opportunity, and if im honest with Gohard's run of bad luck with matches I didn't wanna say hey here's this opportunity to be in a contenders match, because if he lost, that could have made his losing ways worse, whereas simply getting that title match at least he could say okay I lost to the champion if he lost. But because he won not only did it really give us a great slightly unexpected new champion it lead to an exciting triple threat program between all 3. But we've 100% been fair when deciding title situations, we factor in everything like this coming special we wanted this to be the show we gave everyone a chance to seize opportunity, maybe they were lacking in some areas, but it was up to them to improve on those problems and earn their spot in turn.

I'm fine changing to whatever the majority want, but I really love shows lasting two weeks, it feels like it's so easy to get burnt out, especially for me when I've been doing this so long and others, so it's like a vacation without taking actual time off. You get time to bust your ass for stuff for the show, and days to just, do nothing. I get the point Stunner made about opening posted and not until the following weekend, but honestly, that's how shows usually are anyways. A couple things day 1 and day 2, and then the rest on that weekend, so I don't get how it'd be much different. We know how people operate anyways. Which sucks because like I get more shows would be good and because it's 2 weeks that's 12 weeks we lose already....but I dont think the issue is more ppvs are needed so things arent dragged out. I think, and I said this so much before but nobody seems to understand, that we need to make anarchys be where feuds end and everything to. Not every feud has to end on a ppv, not every title has to be defended on a ppv, special events have a purpose by simply having their own scene attached, like for example roulette with the wheel, and cyberslam with voting. If you pile on more ppvs you don't for the most part anyways give people the ability to have shorter feuds, ppvs instead become what they honestly were years ago, filler. Status quo, oh 4 weeks we'll defend every title and they need that time to build it, so we cant have any title match between then because then that champ will have nothing to do on the PPV. It just feels very basic to go back to that system when it hindered the idea of having title matches like we have had. And I realize its been a few months for legit title matches aside from I.C but before that we had a lot, world, womens, ic, elite, it's just we had to adapt to the time of year and that left less opening for that.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

Honestly best overall system we've had, it takes what people do, and that makes their overall. You don't have someone like me for example as Sydal and basically become the closest thing to a legend in XWL, and do that off an 83 overall. While idk Undertaker really up until now is a 95 and he's never been much here. It just makes what you do matter, and it truly lets people create Superstars. You think Primo can be the next big thing? Build him up and make him the next big thing, that's what I love about XWL. And this system allows us to do that more than ever before.

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?

Austin/Zack have done a tremendous job, I like the direction we're going in now with giving maybe not the biggest stars, but still a star in their own right a chance to take the opportunity of the poster and build themselvees with it.

What is your overall opinion of XWL?  Why?

It's a love hate relationship, if I'm super honest and candid, it feels sometimes like I care more than every other member here combined, not all the time but there are times where I'm like, why am I doing this? But then there's time where I see exactly why I am when I have a super sick match with someone, or we bust out a promo that you're really proud of, or hell Sydal being voted Superstar of The Year. I've taken that honor the members gave me and made it another part of the character I've sort of made a couple of them love and that's what makes me love it, just rolling with the punches, making a gold alt for a ppv, and suddenly I'm The Golden Ticket. Working with the admins to bring about an awesome new idea, or creating a sick title scene that before anything even takes place we're all giddy over and can't wait to see unfold. I love the stories people create, and the matches they have when they just forget about their desire to win certain matches and have a match that they just can't stop talking about. I hate when people can't grasp the simple concept of communication so when someone posts something and another messages me like "I didn't approve this" you have to communicate between them because nobody thought "Oh I should ask them if they like this idea, or let them know I'm going to do this" so then I have to solve a problem that should have never been a problem to begin with all because they can't communicate. I hate when there's a rivalry over a title, and the two people involved are so consumed in their own egos/attitudes that they can't TALK and instead I get an IM one night where that person is bitching about the other so I have to message that person and make everything okay. But I love getting to know everyone here, and hell meeting a great bro in AJ (Legal) who joined as Mike Knox of all people, did one basic promo and suddenly we're in a chat and we're hitting it off, and I offer to work with him and we have an awesome feud, and then another, and I get to see that member evolve, and still to this day be such a bro. I love XWL, but I hate it at the same time, it's about a 70/30 split maybe 65/35 for the times where I have to practically bitch at someone to get something done, because then after the initial heated stuff is over with, they end up doing it and proving how simple it was, making that entire experience so pointless, and unneeded stress that could have been avoided.

Optional Question
Pitch us an idea to improve the overall experience of XWL, it could pertain to the site, the titles, the booking, the shows, anything.

I've read the answers from THE ADMINS, and Stunner, (cue someone saying my passive aggressive behavior at them not caring to respond to this, or responding to it yet is what they dislike) and I'm not sure what really we do as an incentive for people to join the Women's Division. This is kind of how it's always been, it has highs, and then low lows. But it always comes back around and there's strong people in it to keep things moving so i dont really see the panic personally in that or the need to have some incentive to make people be them, we want them to be them because they enjoy them maybe ask why they dont idk?

As far as ideas for stuff, before this survey flopped I had an idea to maybe have a monthly discussion between admins and certain random members about things we discussed that month, current ideas we wanna introduce, and title situations so it's more of a group efforrt and everyone understands why we did this, instead of that, but now I don't see the point because it'd probably consist of Lazy, Stunner, and who the fuck knows, so really....to improve the overall experience of XWL...people need to give us the admins, the league, what we put into it. Because it's not easy running a league, and when we try to do something such as this, and you have members that know who they are that contribute nothing to the inner workings of XWL and see no reason to do so, it makes us not care, it makes us the next time we have an idea, say well instead of seeing what the members think, let's just do it because our opinion matters, and their's doesn't. BECAUSE IF IT MATTERED THEY WOULD VOICE IT WHEN WE GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO.

The Survey

What is your favorite thing about XWL?

It CAN be fun depending who you feud with and who you face in a match. I've had some great battles with some and utterly horrendous try hard matches with others

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?

People assuming because I don't want to waste my time doing a stupid fucking survey that I don't care abut this league, I do I just have other things I'm worried about and dislike sharing my voice most of the time. News flash some people have anxiety about opening up about shit even if its about a league its still may be something they don't feel comfortable doing.

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

Most of the time its fine. Sometimes you get booked against people you hate facing but thats just life.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?
Tired of seeing a lot of the same people in the World Title pic. The IC Title has introduced some new people and the ELITE Title has been a great difference in faces.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?
The best is the IC Title scene to me. Fro has worked really hard with and for the Elite Title though

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?

Most of the time, yes.

Two weeks is enough time for a PPV. Two months is too long. Month and a half or one month is good.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

I like it. Seems updating points slacks a lot though and it makes people not really care if they keep seeing they have the same points for 2 or 3 weeks in a row.

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better? Any thoughts about who is on the posters?
They're fine

What is your overall opinion of XWL? Why?
It's fine. Some people want to get heated about certain things that in all reality isn't as big as their making it.

Optional Question
Pitch us an idea to improve the overall experience of XWL, it could pertain to the site, the titles, the booking, the shows, anything. Honestly? Take out the Womens Div. dislike it and there's like
what? 4 women? 5 maybe?

Now thats heat Brother! Ive been here for a cup of coffee several times. Life gets in the way sadly but HEY Im here now. so lets get weird.

What is your favorite thing about XWL?

Organization. place is a well oiled machine.

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?

Try Hards..Like i left "The other place" because thats all wed do. And i was damn good at it. Held nearly every belt there multiple times. that elusive Ic belt..only one i ever wanted to. damn..Anyways.. dont try hard me. Im here to have fun. if you ask nice enough Ill put you over.

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

My booking has been as sporadic as my appearances. no complaints.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?

I have no complaints..Ic is by far the most diverse. Lot of untapped potential there. Elite is probably about to turn into Kingpin Taker. The world title scene is probably the same guys everytime ive shown up and left. I could see where that would bug some folks. Matters not to me. Womens? Not my thing but solid job by all involved.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

Solid across the board.

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?

Yea its pretty straight forward. Do shit get shit. not rocket science.

Love one month. Not overly into the two months thing. but i adapt.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

Love it Im Sami Fucking Callihan...Highly doubt NXT washout gets the top billing of a 92 haha. So yea if i do shit to improve the character improves as well.. YAY RPGS

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better? Any thoughts about who is on the posters?

Dont always put top guys on there. Put some random ones that might fit. IDK not that big of a deal..

What is your overall opinion of XWL? Why?

Solid place to have some fun and escape from the rigors that are life.

PostSubject: Re: XWL Survey June 2017   XWL Survey June 2017 Icon_minitimeMon Jun 12, 2017 1:03 pm

In the past has World been predominantly the same people? Yes because they're the ones that put in the effort to be at that level. So that's why I ask for follow up on the issue people have stated in that regard. What do you mean when it's the same people? Because dating back to last year's Final Stand I personally feel like we've had a very fresh run of guys, have some stuck around longer, yes because for the story we felt best-made world what we wanted it to be, they needed to. Like last year's FS, Dean retained against a tournament winner of fresh world contenders that either hadn't been contender in a while or weren't ever. Fast forward to the next event Downpour you had a fresh contender in Plus who won the title, and would defend it against Dean in his rematch the next PPV at emergence, along with TWO new fresh faces, austin who hadn't been in the world scene in years, and stunner who never had been. Fast forward to Roulette the hot brock styles feud would get their 1 on 1 world encounter which was in my opinion still a fresh option for world. And Breakthrough saw myself who hadn't been in the world scene in again YEARS face off against them in a triple threat, a story we worked our asses off to make matter even if AJ/Brock had been around a lil bit by that time. But we didn't really have alternative options nor do I think any really were up to the standard we expected of world challengers.

I then win, and defend against Stunner in his rematch, for FS we want a big match, and AJ/Sydal had the story to back that up, especially when Bofa was delaying his MITB cash in until then, and we had this world battle royal to declare the next contender so what options did we have? Stunner wins it back, BOFA cashes in ANOTHER fresh world guy who unfortunately has issues come up that makes that fall apart. He loses it to ANOTHER fresh world guy in Josh who had never been in the scene up until then. Josh wins, and Sydal never got his rematch, he was hot off 2 of the biggest wins story wise that a male currently had, there's no other face at that level, so matt hardy needed a face to work with. AND if you people have read the shows, you would see that it's not just me stinking up the scene, DESPITE THE CHAMPION BEING FRESH, no because hey as the match is made, suddenly Strowman comes in, A FRESH FACE IN THE SCENE, and then this week, SUDDENLY EDGE is here to play, if you read the stories and actually think about it, and actually look back to see what the scene has actually been like, you would see it's the freshest out of any of them consistently. I.C was constantly the same people last year. Women's has revolved around Sasha, Nat, April basically.

In the last year we've had

Tyler
Austin
Stunner
Plus
Me
Bofa
Josh

That is 7 people, for events that have been every 2 months, and we had a month break in between that, and a new years show that was 2 weeks as well. So the fact that we've had 7 people new, and we're STILL adding to that list, if you look hard enough and don't just see "Oh look Sydal is still around" despite ignoring the fact that Zayn was also still around and he's been in 2 title scenes despite me being in 1 that is where I'm confused as what makes the world scene have the same people, when it factually does not?

PostSubject: Re: XWL Survey June 2017   XWL Survey June 2017 Icon_minitimeMon Jun 12, 2017 1:40 pm

I won't go through the whole survey thing yet because I'm short on time but there are a few things I just want to say. This is, and this is my opinion, the biggest problem in this league is communication between regular members. David, this really isn't something you can do to stop but I just want to say this for people to read. One of the worst things about being in SOOL was working really hard and feeling as if no one cared about anything other than what they did. I feel like sometimes here we don't uplift the hard work each member is putting in. And hey, I'm not gonna lie like I'm just throwing compliments each and everywhere but I try my best to let people know like "Yeah man you're doing great" and not just like those simple compliments. Like, The Styles, Cena, Miz stuff?
Yeah they knocked it out of the park. Anyone who has tried knows how hard it is to pull off a triple threat like feud and they managed to do a great one with not a whole bunch of time.

They did all that and when in came time for the Downpour opener they were forgotten. Now I'm not blaming Josh because hey, ya know, I forget things all the time. But it shocked me that no one had even noticed. Also, Creecher, someone new to leagues like this promo'd pretty well and consistently for a new person. But no managed to say like "hey man great job" or anything. I did and it led to a fun match at Downpour! Pringlee is so consistent as Cactus Jack and he adapts to story lines so well and we should really applaud that and each other more often. Again, I want no one to feel like I'm pointing them out because I'm not,
I'm just saying I feel like it's a mentality we're adopting and I don't really like it much.

That being said, as for people being in the same title scene? Just go look at the results for this show. The same people produce the stuff and therefore they are made admins and or given shots because they deserve it. If anyone feels like they aren't where they should be or wants to be somewhere else, all ya gotta do is put forth that effort. Also, PS, PLEASE PICK UP A DAMN WOMAN WRESTLER. I'm getting bored dropping these jobbers Wink

PostSubject: Re: XWL Survey June 2017   XWL Survey June 2017 Icon_minitimeMon Jun 12, 2017 2:37 pm

I really don't know what to say for this, but I'm gonna give it a shot.

Favorite thing about XWL?
Honestly this is my first league like this and it is different. I didn't really know what to expect, but after a year or so, it's been fun. I think the best part is all the dream match potential. I can feud with virtually anyone and it is cool to see my favorite wrestlers finally collide.

Least Favorite thing about XWL?
I would probably say communication. I have been here for a year and I am just now starting to be in title scenes. Now I know I have been gifted chances for contendership time and time again, but I felt like it took a while to even reach that point. And my opinion is that when people feud, we don't really talk about what we are going to do much so we can't show off. I just had my first BIG promo as Edge and the communication through it was very smooth, connected and thought out. A few feuds have been just filed with attacks then off point promos then a battle at the PPV. I WANT THOUGHT OUT DREAM PROGRAMS, ex: The Miz, Cena, and Styles. You feel me?

Booking?
I don't have a problem with booking. If you don't want to fight with a character a certain week, let admins know in advance.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?
The Championships are pretty cool, I like it. And I think Championship happen enough, though I do wish every once in a blue moon that for story purpose that a title match is held on Anarchy.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?
The Champions right now are going balls to the walls right now. The only reason I say that is because I've seen them shine and I am one, so I know the feeling. The IC Division is red hot right now and I am lowkey jealous.*hint* I wish the Elite Division had more people wanting to fight, it seems The Dead Man scared everybody off. Other divisions can improve basically off of communication, I already ranted on that.

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?
A contender should be decided off of their work, and I think you guys have been fair about that. If a person is consistent on their promos and have a good match every week then they are deserving. If you don't, keep trying till you figure it out.

The current PPV set up is good, DON'T change it. Enough said.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?
It's a good way to keep us in check, though some of us never use our points. Keep it, I'll probably use some one day.

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?
You guys are pretty good about choosing the cover guy with the themes and that is clean. Every now and again add a newbie in there to boost their confidence. And you can see what they are really made of.

What is your overall opinion of XWL?  Why?
It's a good league to be apart of, (home). I can't put it into further detail.

The Survey

What is your favorite thing about XWL?
matches

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?
sometimes promos can go on too long and become tedious to read

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

im fine with my booking. thou if people are without a story a 'booker' should be provided for them and make a storyline for them

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?

i think it should be defended on the 2 month specials only

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

yes. World title scene. they are fine

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?

either through a match or based off what they are doing with their characters character

Do you like that system? Would you rather see us go back to a system of us having them be once a month? Or perhaps a merger of the current and the past? Is two weeks too long for the duration of those events or just enough time?

i think very 2 months for the major ones where the world title gets defended. but every other month have like a in your house type deal where the other titles are the main focus. im either or on the length to get ppvs done

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

i like it

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?

The Survey

What is your favorite thing about XWL?

The people and the story's. I love telling story's through fueds here and I enjoy meeting new people through this league that share common interests.

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?

Sometimes it feels like some people don't care for anyone's promos but their own. Not necessarily admins or anyone specific to call out but that's just the vibe I get sometimes.

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

Nah I feel like the booking is good.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?

Championships are fine, although I'd like to see elite title replaced with hardcore. I think title matches happen the right amount.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

I believe the current champs worked their ass off to get where they are. Taco beat me, the match I thought was extremely fun, and I was happy to loose to someone like the character he is making Barrett (JBL on the other hand is furious). Oh i wonder oh I wonder, how great is frowonder. His time has finally come and I believe he will make a great champion. Lazy is as always do amazing as April, and as for the World Heavyweight Champion...WONDERFUL HAHAHA. My opinion IC title scene is where it's at right now in XWL. Elite title can't really improve I don't think, it's just as I see it now IC title is best, although World Heavyweight scene could improve by 1 simple step...put JBL in main event at CyberSlam against Matt Hardy for the championship.

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?

In a number one contenders match due to activity not wins and losses. Yeah you've been fair, hell look at me. Went on like a 2 or 3 month loss streak but was consistent. I got my shot and became IC champion.

2 weeks is fine, but ppv should be like once every 4-6 weeks.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

Yeah I like points system

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better? Any thoughts about who is on the posters?

They are good, but you know how you could make them great? More JBL

What is your overall opinion of XWL? Why?

Good fun place to be.

What is your favorite thing about XWL?

I love the individual personalities of the superstars. I love the twist that everyone puts on their characters.

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?

I cant say much about things I don't like about this league. I haven't been around long enough.

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

the booking is fine.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?

more title matches would be nice.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

they're all doing a great job. of course the Elite title scene is the best, just kidding.. love you Harmon. <3

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?

I think if someone impresses a admin with their mic skills and in ring competition then they definately deserve a title.

It seems like forever for special events to come around but i believe its enough time to develop stories.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

I have no idea what the point system was like before but this one is good.

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better? Any thoughts about who is on the posters?

doing great guys.

What is your overall opinion of XWL? Why?

I honestly love this league. everyone seems to be having fun and that's what its all about. yall are all great.

The Survey

What is your favorite thing about XWL?

The people here and the rules that mean you can enjoy the game and have good matches -- playing legit online is no fun as people spam to win, but I have had countless amazing matches in this fed and it is the most fun I have had playing online.

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

I am happy where I am at with my two characters.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?

I don't think title matches happen as often as they should. I mean the world title is the top title and should be special and such -- but the other titles -- I think they should be defended a hell of a lot more than they are -- a month sometimes goes by without a defence and that not good in my eyes.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

Everyone who is champion at the moment worked hard for it -- and they deserve it and need to continue the good work.

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?

Winning is not everything -- angles and character development and even throwing the new guys a bone every now and then would be a thumbs up in my book.

The Administrative team has recently been talking about the way Special Events are presented. We currently have special events lasting two weeks and they take place about once every two months. Is two weeks too long for the duration of those events or just enough time?
Two week events are fine -- but once every three months should be the way to go like the way NXT used to do it.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

Still getting used to it, but I am enjoying it.

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better? Any thoughts about who is on the posters?

The person in the poster should be the champion or the challenger or even someone who has worked really hard for it.

What is your overall opinion of XWL? Why?

An efed mixed with real matches -- it is like a dream for me and I am happy that I came back after my first run as Zack Ryder all those years ago.

Optional Question

Pitch us an idea to improve the overall experience of XWL, it could pertain to the site, the titles, the booking, the shows, anything.

I have been in efeds that are just all writing and most if not all have a lower title that is defended weekly -- like a hardcore title or something like that -- it gives people in the lower card something to gun for and it means everyone has a chance for a title. I also think that if someone no shows you or if you send them messages and invites and they don't get back to you then you should get an automatic win -- in other efeds if the person no shows then your guy wins and you can use that win to move up the card. The handler of Mark Henry -- for three weeks we had three matches and he did not reply to me once -- so something along the lines of an automatic lose and slipping down the card is something to consider.

From Tango who can't post cause he's only got access to Skype really atm.

What is your favorite thing about XWL?

The athmosphere, the friendliness of the admin team

What is your least favorite thing about XWL? The one-sided affairs, the ones who don't put any effort into what they do let alone show up to do a match.

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

I feel the booking is fine, I myself am booked plenty enough where i don't have any troubles getting things done on my end.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?

I think they happen plenty enough especially the major titles like the world and the ic, personally I feel as if the Elite championship could be defended a little more frequently due to its value.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

I feel they are doing the absolute best they can being champions, the heavyweight title def. Seems to be broken and needs to not be fixed anytime soon all others are doing well so out of that the brokenweight title takes the cake. I see no improvement needing to be made

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?

I feel as if it should be looked at what the people go through to get things done in order to become contenders, like my self I do the best I can do to work something out only to watch it fade away and turn into a one-sided affair.

Two weeks is perfect time to get things done considering the issues surrounding getting things done in one week I feel there should be bi monthly ppv like there are now but have many events on the non ppv events.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

I like it i think there should be an option for a title opportunity in there (if it's not already In there)

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?

No thoughts other than it should feature the headline feud/rivalry going on at the time.

What is your overall opinion of XWL?  Why?

My overall opinion is that XWL is the best xb1 league today imo, all the storylines feel real, the dead are dead and that has been said. An equal opportunity league to anyone who can step up to the plate with XWL

Optional Question

Pitch us an idea to improve the overall experience of XWL, it could pertain to the site, the titles, the booking, the shows, anything.

More reprimanding when no contact is being made for matches getting done, it is very annoying for someone into what we do and making it work with the schedule they have only to not be able to do so due to the fact that no response is given after the request has been initiated.

what is your favourite thing about xwl?

I feel this place is really friendly and I like all the different story lines and all the different personalities people create for their characters.

what is your least favourite thing about XWL?

I feel that sometimes when people see that they are booked against me they feel like they don't want to do their match with me but I will explain this in the next question.

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

I feel I am being booked correctly. If I am active I get pushed if I am not I don't and that is how a league should work. If I need time off I always let you guys know so I am fine on that front. Now to what I said before these past few months have been hard for me in XWL and I have nearly left a few times and if it wasn't for harmon I probably would have. Lately I have felt that people don't want to do matches against me and when they see that they are booked against me they decide to ignore me so they don't have to do it. I went on a streak of sorts of not getting a match done and to no fault of my own I truly believe. I feel I am easy enough to get matches done with and the blatant ignorance of my messages and stuff really pissed me off and I felt the lack of matches that I was getting done was making me look bad and making people not want to do feuds with me. Just my opinion but that's how I feel I wasn't going to post this but felt I had to get it off my chest.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?

I feel everything is fine with the title matches.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

I feel everyone who is champion deserves it as they are always working hard to post stuff and make their feuds interesting. I can't see any room for improvement.

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?

In my opinion it should go on hard work and effort to get title matches and I think XWL is very fair in giving title opportunities out.

Two weeks is fine for me I can get very busy with work so it actually helps me out quite a bit.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

I feel the points system is fine and doesn't need a change.

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?

My thoughts are the same as Tango it should feature the headline feud/rivalry going on at the time.

What is your overall opinion of XWL?  Why?

Overall I think this league is a really good league. Although I have found it hard lately this is the best league out their and I am proud to be apart of its history.

The Survey

What is your favorite thing about XWL?

XWL (for the most part) is such a chill and fun community that pretty much anyone who joins can feel like family by being a member in it, and that's what makes it so great to be a part of.

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?

People who take this stuff so seriously. It's a game. No one other than you gives a damn if you win a fake title in an online league. Also people who pick up the best characters to ever be in a wrestling ring and don't do crap with them.

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?

Yes I only want to be booked as one character. But I think booking 18-21 matches a week (Yes, I counted the number for the last couple shows) is A) way too many per week and B) way too optimistic that half of them will even get done. Unless we had a second show per week, I feel like booking that many matches is way too crazy.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?

I think we should change the Elite Championship design to the current NXT Championship but that's not my decision, of course. I think title matches happen often enough, but I feel like IC and Elite title matches should happen more often since they're the secondary and tertiary championships.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

Nah, fuck that Lazy guy. Give me the belt as Summer, I'll #MakeAnarchyGreatAgain. ...Kidding, of course. I'd be a terrible champion. Uh, I mean, the champs got to where they all are by hard work and in some cases carrying an entire division on their back (Lazy).

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?

The ones who put an extraneous amount of effort in should be rewarded in kind. However, it just kind of sucks that the most active people are also the ones who are administrators, so it may look like that admins are being handed everything to an outsider (Especially since admins hold two of the four championships), which clearly is not the case.

Two weeks per special event is the right amount of time, and having six a year is fantastic. It proves that we're not just trying to do everything WWE does, we're trying to be different by having different approaches.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?

The points system is great, but I notice looking through that barely anyone around here uses it except to buff up their overalls. Like, come on guys. Live a little, spend those points.
Get some custom sigs and fins, or purchase the ability to win a match with a leverage pin.

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?

Man, the guy who made the posters before Austin started making them sucked, amirite? As strenuous as it was to please David with the aesthetics of the poster design, I'm glad Austin is doing them now because he deserves to get to.

What is your overall opinion of XWL? Why?

XWL is a great community and genuinely a fantastic place to be because like I said above, it's like a family. With Legal being the weird uncle who always shows up drunk to the reunions and tries to hit on you.

Optional Question

Pitch us an idea to improve the overall experience of XWL, it could pertain to the site, the titles, the booking, the shows, anything.

Change the color scheme to blue because green is just as bad of a color as Great Khali is (was?) a wrestler. Also, needs a lot more Jinder Mahal. Praise be to the mighty Maharaja.

The Survey

What is your favorite thing about XWL?
The people, the promos, the matches the feuds. The way it all come together to make something that’s beautiful--something that’s memorable and leaves a mark in the history of the company. This company’s had its ups and downs, its rights and its lefts, but it’s always struck the perfect balance of being fun and rewarding--and being perseverant enough to keep on being alive no matter how much the actual games get worse every year. XWL, may not be what it once was, and it may only have two years left of operation, but when it does close its eyes for the final time it will go down as one of the best things I’ve been apart of.

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?
That E/T can walk around here, retire Layla and call Matt Sydal a legend while nobody talks about Chavo or Shelley. Those were legends. Those are people who should be inducted into the Hall of Fame and never touched by anybody ever again, but those two didn’t have the luxury of being backed by the owner of the league or competing in an era where you could boost your overall based on your performance and were forced to struggle and suffer during a time when 90 overall old farts like HBK, Jericho, HHH and their ilk were running rampant.

I also don’t like that Austin is so active here. Look at him. So smug and self righteous. Sticking out his chin and puffing out his chest like he’s the man, when he should be on his knees apologizing to me for the wrongs he’s committed. And he knows what he did: holding back the queen of thighs like the greedy, selfish monster that he is, hogging her until she left both of our lives. And that...that just isn’t right. That just isn’t fair. He never cared about her, worshipped her, the way that I did. And everytime I look at her, think about taking her by my side, I can’t help but turn my head in disgust at the thought of him getting to her first, using her for months mercilessly and tossing her to the side when she served her purpose without a hint of remorse or regret.

And don’t get me started on the way Tyler upped and left and broke my heart when the EY, Shelley, Striker love triangle was really about to take off and be the greatest thing this website had ever seen.

Also, where are the black people?

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?
I haven’t been booked in years. I really feel like that’s an issue.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?
#youthmovement

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?
I’ve always been an advocate of contender’s matches majority of the time, and straight up giving the title match to a person who promos often but maybe isn’t so strong as matches--no, I don’t mean me, but push me, pls.

On paper that really seems like a long time to keep a feud going, especially one that you intend to go beyond one pay per view. Now, it’s not a problem if that’s being offset by “not-so-special” events so it’s not 6-straight (or whatever the number is) regular matches between pay per views.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?
I haven’t read it in depth, but I welcome the intention of giving those who don’t use in-game wrestlers a chance to compete.

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?
Really bothers me that the first thing I saw was Miz.

What is your overall opinion of XWL?  Why?
Y’all seem like nice folks. The league is still alive, so that’s good. From skimming other surveys, some of the same old problems still persist, but that’s just what happens when you have a website full of puberty, testosterone and egos.

I know I probably shouldn't be filling out this Survey because I've only been back a matter of days... but I hope you guys don't mind.

I'm also not up to date on the new things around the site or recent shows so please forgive me if I've said something that makes no sense or is not a thing anymore.  I'm aiming to catch up and resynchronize myself with everything over this coming weekend!

What is your favorite thing about XWL?
Probably that it's a place where you can play proper matches on the WWE games without fear of being spammed to death or cheaped out of having a fun time online.  But I also like the storylines and feuds a whole lot too.

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?
I haven't been around for a while so it's hard to say but right now I'd say the awkward grey colour that the text becomes when you quote something.  Also that a lot of the "retro" members have gone and never returned as I miss them.  Sad

When it comes to booking, how do you feel about the way you've been booked? Do you feel like we could do better when it comes to how you're presented, or are we booking you too much? Do you want to be left off some weeks, or booked as only one character?
I haven't been booked yet.  When Orton is back I would like to be booked the majority of weeks with the occasional week without a match so I can maybe just promo.

What are your opinions on the current XWL Championships? Do title matches happen often enough or too often?
I don't know at this point.  I'm sure they're fine.  But I don't like that the old NXT title is used because it's an ugly belt.

Do you think the current champions are working hard enough to deserve their belts? What title scene is the best currently? How can the others improve?
I'd assume they are deserving of their titles or they wouldn't have gotten a title shot.

How do you feel a contender should be decided for a title? Do you feel we've been fair when it comes to making that decision?
I think effort needs to be considered as the main thing.  If someone promos every week and does their matches every week to a decent/good standard (or at least tries to) they should be considered for opportunities, whether that's a contendership match or just outright given a title match so they can work a feud with the champ.  I've only just returned so I'd assume it's like it always has been, but I would hope effort that people make doesn't slip through the cracks like sometimes it used to.  On rare occasions it also seemed to take a lot longer for some people to get a chance compared to others despite variations in effort.  Overall I believe the admin team has always been fair though in that regard, and I assume they still are.

I think 2 months is too long, but 2 weeks for the PPV can be beneficial.  I'm indifferent to the PPV length though and wouldn't mind if it returned to a 1 week duration.

The new points system has been in place for a little while now. What are your thoughts on it? Was it a good change?
It confuses the hell out of me and I still don't fully understand it.  I think a streamlined post about it would help rather than the lengthy one that exists right now, which explains it in a lot simpler terms (if possible?).  At this point I'm also hesitant to sign up Orton to the new system because it seems like I'd be building up points for nothing because the new game will be out soon enough.

Do you have any thoughts on the XWL posters and how they can be made better?  Any thoughts about who is on the posters?
The poster looks great right now.  Props to the maker.

What is your overall opinion of XWL?  Why?
It's always drawn me back because it's great.  I don't know of any other place like it that exists.  I am upset that friends I have made over the years have faded away and never made a comeback (I still play games with some to this day and I really love that, but still).  Despite that I am looking forward to making new friends in this new era of XWL.  Also, I'm sad Austin deleted me on Skype Sad

Optional Question

Pitch us an idea to improve the overall experience of XWL, it could pertain to the site, the titles, the booking, the shows, anything.

1) I'm going to throw it out there again - Tag Titles!  Make them work.
2) I would like if people didn't bitch and moan behind people's backs and instead raised the issues with the person directly.  That would be nice.  It's always been an issue and I'm sure it still is.  We're all here for fun, this isn't our job, nobody earns money from this.  Let's all try to remember that when things get heated.  Hug it out.
3) I think what David mentioned about random members being asked to join in the admin chats sometimes would be a good idea.
4) I used to like when songs were chosen for each PPV.  Can this be brought back?

What is your least favorite thing about XWL?
I haven't been around for a while so it's hard to say but right now I'd say the awkward grey colour that the text becomes when you quote something.

I blame the fact we just got this new theme last night and are still working out kinks and stuff. I can fix that myself right now, or at least try to because I agree it isn't exactly the best.
