| >>Male Competitor of the PPV<<Winner : R-TruthRunners up : Matt Hardy, Sami ZaynR-Truth not only successfully defended his "Golden Opportunity, he would go on to cash in his Money in The Bank Contract after AJ Styles defeated Matt Sydal to regain The World Heavyweight Championship, making The Phenomenal One's reunion with his beloved gold short lived when he successfully became World Heavyweight Champion for the first time in his XWL career.>>Female Competitor of the PPV<<Winner : Sister AprilRunners Up : Natalya, RosemarySister April easily picks up the award after overcoming the odds of a Fatal Four Way to successfully defend her championship, the only champion at Final Stand that walked in with their title, and walked out with it. >>Promo of the PPV<<Winner : Bray WyattRunner Ups: Matt Sydal, Natalya, CM Punk"Let me tell you, my story" A story so compelling, so raw, a look into what made Bray Wyatt into who he is today, his journey, the eerie tale left an impact that did not go unnoticed. Nor shall we ever forget it...>>Shocker of the PPV<<Winner : R-Truth cashes in The Money in The Bank ContractRunner Up: Brock Lesnar defeating CM Punk in 23 seconds As the pyrotechnics went off, as the graphic appeared signaling the end of the show, as we began to fade...all of a sudden, the sight of a victorious new champion in AJ Styles...the image the XWL Universe wasn't thrilled to be the final sight they'd see on the ninth anniversary special. R-Truth would come out, declare he's cashing in, and the rest...is now history. Cashing in on the grandest stage of them all, essentially making The Main-Event a two part affair, R-Truth truly was, shocking. >>Match of the PPV<<Winners : Sasha Banks Vs Dana Brooke Vs Natalya Vs Sister April For The Women's Championship, AND AJ Styles Vs Matt Sydal For The World Heavyweight ChampionshipRunner Up : Brock Lesnar Vs CM PunkA show as big as Final Stand, left the viwers torn between two matches, each for a championship, but each very different in their own way. The Women's Division has been on fire as of late, and with four of its top competitors battling it out in a grueling match they made their case as to why they stole the show in their own right. Then you had a bitter rivalry between two men that HATED each other, a battle that was so personal its intensity could not be matched, they truly left it all out there and you the fans have shown your appreciation of that. We thank you all for your participation, and your hard work to make the entire show into what it was, even if you didn't win an award we all won the "Have a kickass show" award. Congratulations once again to the new champions crowned, and the winners of The FS IX PPV Awards, as chosen by YOU! | |
