1. The Dangerous Alliance meets... an unlikely alliance.
Strange bedfellows unite in tonight's main event as the team of AJ Styles and R-Truth take on Brock Lesnar in a handicap match. That's right, the World Heavyweight Champion and the man who could possibly take his championship from him at any given second are set to team up to take on the Beast Incarnate only a week before what could be the biggest match of AJ Styles' career: a triple threat Unsanctioned Match for the World Heavyweight Championship - and that's assuming R-Truth doesn't have a trick up his sleeve!


2. The Darkness goes Bankrupt
The number one contenders tournament has finally come to a close and "The Legit Boss" Sasha Banks stood tall above the rest of the division - minus one champion of course. Come Breakthrough, for the first time ever, all of that changes as Sister April and Sasha Banks are set to collide with the Women's Championship now on the line. But first, the two of them have to put their differences aside and work together as they team up against Dana Brooke the woman that went against the teachings of her new mentor and partner Natalya when she raked the eyes of Sister April two weeks ago to defeat her one on one. With Natalya's ongoing struggle to rein in Dana's nefarious behavior, will she be able to focus on using this opportunity not only to catapult her back at the top of the title hunt, but also a lesson to Dana that you don't have to cheat to get ahead? Will Sasha Banks and Sister April be able to pick up the win or will their own behaviors and want to be the pinnacle of this division cost them the win?


3. Is the Truth going to face the consequences?
Brock Lesnar and AJ Styles aren't the only troubles that R-Truth has to deal with on tonight's show. A 'wrestling god' by the name of JBL has challenged R-Truth to a ladder match at Breakthrough after R-Truth cost JBL a match against Kevin Owens stole what rightfully belonged to JBL, his signed hat. If R-Truth manages to defeat the wrestling god, well, might literally be walking away as the man who has money in the bank - that is assuming he chooses to not back down from the fight after John Bradshaw Layfield put an offer out on the table during his interview with Renee Young. Will R-Truth prove that he's a fighter and quite possibly a future Heavyweight Champion? Or will he give in the JBL's demands?


4. Will the Eater of Worlds enter the Asylum?
After Dean Ambrose robbed the fans of witnessing a match between Bray Wyatt and Bobby Roode by attacking the Glorious One during his entrance, it was announced that Dean would have to pay the price for his actions yet again. Not in the former of a suspension or anything like such, rather in the former of a match. A match with the man who was supposed to fight Roode this past week on Anarchy. Will Dean Ambrose be able to prove that he was a former Heavyweight Champion for a reason or will Bray Wyatt be able to silence the Lunatic?


5. The Greatest Contender That Ever Lived?
After a week where the Best in the World was unusually silent, you have to wonder just what he has in store for the Greatest Man That Ever Lived after he cheated his way to earning a shot at Punk's Elite Championship. A CM Punk with a microphone in his hands is already deadly enough as it is, we've witnessed that for weeks now, but a CM Punk who's gone silent? Austin Aries might have his hands full in his match with Scott Hall but if he were smart, he'd keep a pair of eyes in the back of his head, as should his manager.

Before the show even starts the regular intro is cut off by a black screen. Numbers flash onto the screen that say 01:30:00, before anyone can react it starts counting down like a timer

Mauro
What's that timer on the screen? What is that supposed to mean?

Graves
I don't know Mauro but looks like we'll find out in one hour and thirty minutes!

The timer disappears as the fire works flare up for the show intro

The arena lights up with fireworks following the intro. The crowd, is in a frenzy, chanting and cheering as the camera spins around the arena, highlighting the faces of those in the audience. Then, it settles upon the announce team, who are also estatic to be present.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to XWL's Anarchy! The hottest brand on the scene right now, where you never know what will happen!

[Corey Graves]
As we all know this show is unpredictable, unstable and always, chaos, but in all the best ways. Tonight we have great matches in store for you. We have the Intercontinental Champion teaming with Cactus Jack to take on Sami Zayn and Eric Young in a Contender's Quarrel event!

[Mauro Ranallo]
We have the Women's Champion, Sister April teaming with Sasha Banks, her challenger at Breakthrough in just one week, taking on Natalya and Dana Brooke!

[Corey Graves]
We also have our Main Event, which Brock Lesnar himself asked for, a handicap in which AJ Styles will team with Mr. Money in the Bank, R-Truth. Can we see a new world champion crowned tonight? What will that mean for Breakthrough!?

[Mauro Ranallo]
Also, I'm going to ask the question on everyone's mind, what was that which aired on the screen, just mere moments before the show's official opening? The numbers counting down?

[Corey Graves]
Well Ranallo, if you'd ever pay attention, we'd get to know here in an hour and a half. So sit back, shut up, and be excited because I sure am for whatever that is supposed to mean.

The bell sounds off in the arena, the camera spinning to find Lilian Garcia in the middle of the ring.

[Lilian Garcia]
This match is scheduled for one fall!

"ONE FALL!" responds the crowd, excited for the night to come.



Out from behind the curtain emerges Bray Wyatt, sack drapped over his shoulder as he trudges to the ring, eyes wandering around the arena.

[Corey Graves]
Speaking of unpredictable, here is the man we call Bray Wyatt. He's went through a sudden change here recently.

[Mauro Ranallo]
The Eater of Worlds isn't the monster he used to be. Instead he's here, repenting for his sins in a way, taking up a life of nothing besides what's in that sack.

Bray comes down the ramp, eyes sulking almost as the crowd is silent, allowing his theme to carry him to the ring, in which he used to give sermons of sorts, but now, he does no such thing.

[Lilian Garcia]
Introducing first, Bray Wyatt!

Bray pushes the bag into the ring, rolling in under the ropes and sitting for a moment. He looks around, then pulls himself to his feet, walking across the ring.








The arena comes to life, the theme of the Lunatic Fringe coming over the speakers as the man himself appears, barreling out of the curtain with fire in his eyes. He looks around breifly, then begins his stride down the ramp.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I'm excited for this one here Corey! After last week where Dean attacked Bobby, we get to see Bray and him go at it, having ruined Wyatt's match.

[Corey Graves]
He BLINDSIDED, Bobby! Not attacked. There is a very big difference. But this match will be great and hopefully, Bray will make Dean repent for his sins as well.

Dean comes down the ramp, avoiding the hands of the crowd and slides into the ring. He doesn't waste time, ripping off his jacket, throwing it over the top and backing into the corner opposite of Bray. He smirks almost, talking shit to Wyatt before the bell even rings.

[Corey Graves]
OH NO! DIRTY DEEDS!





Ambrose stands, the ref going to grab his hand but he jerks away, running a hand over his face as though he's been disrespected by Bray Wyatt. He looks around, the smirk gone, reborn with frustration on the face of the Lunatic.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Wait, do you see that!?

Before anything else can happen, someone has slid into the ring behind Dean, spinning him around and kicking him in the gut.

[Corey Graves]
GLORIOUS BOMB! YES!

Bobby Roode stands over Dean Ambrose, anger on his face as well, then looks around at the booing crowd. He nods in response and then calls for a mic. It is handed to him and he brings it to his lips slowly, soaking it all in.

[Bobby Roode]
You, want to attack me? You really wanted to attack me Ambrose!? Well fine. Have it your way. Consider this a challenge for a match at Breakthrough in one week. What do you say there, ol' chap?

Bobby lowers the mic to the lips of Dean Ambrose who is far from coherent. Bobby smirks, then brings the mic back up to his own lips, looking around the arena.

[Bobby Roode]
Oh would you look at that? He accepts.

Roode them plants the mic into the chest of Ambrose, smashing it hard. He stands slowly, raising his arms and exclaiming that word he is so fond of. Then, his theme song comes in, ending out the segment and the start of the show.

Randy Orton's music blasts through the arena as he walks out from behind the curtain. Microphone in hand and donning his typical t-shirt and jeans, he begins to walk down the ramp to the ring.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Welcome back to Anarchy, ladies and gentleman, and what a time to come back as it seems we are going to be joined by a man who has been missing the past couple weeks, The Viper, Randy Orton.

[Corey Graves]
I've been wondering where The Viper had gone off to. Ever since we saw him get in a confrontation with Matt Striker and Eric Young. He seemed to disappear. I hope we get an explanation for that.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I'm sure we definitely will as the man who can hit the RKO out of quite literally nowhere has made his way to the ring.

Orton slowly climbs the steel steps onto the apron. He pauses in the center, looking at the crowd, then turning to look at the center of the ring. Taking his time, almost methodically thinking about his next move, he cautiously enters the ring and makes his way to the middle of it. He turns his head from one side to the other, staring into the audience as his music fades. Randy raises his mic up to speak after a few brief moments.

[Randy Orton]
It's a shame... what this company has tried to do to me. Management here, no matter if it was the Authority, or Layla now, has tried to keep me down, scared of what could happen should I ever rise up to be a threat to the status quo again.

Orton raises his other hand to stroke his short beard that has grown in during his brief time off. He begins to pace the ring as he continues to speak what is on his mind.

[Randy Orton]
Recently, it was due to a suspension. They suspended me after attacking Matt Striker, but... they instantly reinstated me? How does that makes sense? There's only one reason I could see as to why this happened. To explain, let's rewind a bit, to the beginning of this year...

Randy walks up toward the ropes closest to the camera set, looking straight into it, his voice becoming angrier.


[Randy Orton]
XWL was reborn... it was renewed... it was given a fresh start... Do you remember... WHO... was the first XWL World Heavyweight Champion of this... "New Era?" ... Randy... Orton... I won the tournament to win the title. Do you know who else was involved? The likes of Dean Ambrose... of Brock Lesnar. Not only did they lose to me, but somehow, they both got opportunities after I had the title and lost it. Dean defeated me for the title with the opportunity given to him. Brock defeated him with his.... you know who WASN'T given an opportunity to get his title back? ... Randy... Orton... You know who became a 2-time champion? Dean Ambrose... You know who is still in that title picture that never seems to change? ... Dean Ambrose... and Brock Lesnar...


Randy begins to take a breath and walk back toward the middle of the ring.

[Randy Orton]
Let's fast forward now to the present. I was suspended, do you know what happens when you're suspended? You lose your place in line... on the ladder. Your rung gets replaced. I was instantly reinstated, however, which in not normal. So not only did I LOSE my place on the ladder, I have to watch as another undeserving superstar battles for what is rightfully mine... No matter who walks out of Breakthrough, whether it be AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar, or Matt Sydal... I'm coming for that title.. and NO ONE... will stop me this time.



Orton lifts the mic and drops to the mat as he strolls over toward the ropes, leaving the ring, and heading back up the ramp.

After Orton leaves the ring the  arena and screen goes black. The timer flashes onto the screen again but this time it says 01:00:00, it starts counting down again

Look it's back up! I can't wait to see what this timer means!

I can't wait Mauro! One hour to go!

The timer disappears as the show continues

The crowd erupts for Sami Zayn as he makes his way out to the ring, mic in hand wearing a shirt that says "I CONQUERED THE CONQUER" and on the back it says "KRUGER IS NEXT". Zayn skips down the ramp and stops at the edge of the stairs as he looks towards the crowd and throws his arms in the air yelling "LETS GO!". He gets into the ring as and paces around for a moment, he stops and begins to speak.

Sami Zayn
I keep saying I'm not the same Sami Zayn that I was, I'm more aggressive and more dangerous. I've always had this side to me but I never attempted to fully unleash it.  As my shirt says I have beaten Brock Lesnar... and Kruger you're next... I WILL take your Championship at Breakthrough no latter who I have to go through!

Zayn paces back and forth, he puts the mic back up to his mouth.

Sami Zayn
Tonight I team up with Eric Young to take on the team of Kruger and Cactus, now EY and I are buddies but come Breakthrough it's every man for themselves and I won't hesitate to put him down if I need to. All that matters is that I walk out Intercontinental Champion.

The fans cheer for the idea of Sami Zayn and Eric Young teaming up

But that's Sunday, tonight Eric and I both hold a grudge towards Kruger and let's be honest here, Cactus? He's not Kruger's friend either. I doubt those two can even cooperate enough to beat us. Hell come Sunday I doubt Kruger will get out of the match without anything being broken. He's made a lot of enemies and three of them are in a match with him. So Kruger, from the bottom of my heart, good luck....

Zayn smiles and leaves the ring

We cut to a back alleyway, where Bray Wyatt is sitting thinking over his match, his loss. He looks into the small fire he has going to keep warm.



BRAY WYATT
This path, is one I have chosen. I set out to redeem myself for my past transgressions. My past sins, the awfulness and chaos I helped bring into this world. If my flesh must feel the burn and pain of fists and anger. so be it. I WILL not let these things stop me from my path. For If i did, then those who put me on this journey will have won. I will not allow them to, I WILL not-(looks off to the side)-Oh, Its you...

The screen abruptly cuts to black

Some think of me as a hero..... to be a good and fight off the bad guys, but you've go it all wrong. Many may see my past actions as unprovoked and unneeded, and you may see me as someone horrible. Think what you please, I don't care if you are for me or against me, I don't care what you think, I'm doing what I set out to do... You can think what I do is awful and evil, but I'm not mortal, my actions don't change as my emotions sway, I have no feelings. Only the desire I have is to take the souls of those who approach the reaping hour. You can think what I do is evil, but as long as the Deadman still walks the Earth, there are still more holes to be dug and more souls to be collected.  

Bray Wyatt, the day of reckoning is near. You are the next name on the Reaper's list and the next body to be added to my graveyard. Your soul will be in my possession very soon, and no one will be able to save your lost and wandering soul. It's ok to feel fear Bray, it's what humans normally do when they stare death in the face. Run... This is your only chance because when the time finally arrives you will Rest. In. Peace.

We come back from break as the  arena and screen goes black. The timer flashes onto the screen again but this time it says 00:30:00, it starts counting down again

The timer disappears as the show continues

As the latest update on the mysterious timer fades, we find Dana Brooke stretching backstage as she prepares for her Tag-Team Match against two women she's not made good first impressions on, Number One Contender Sasha Banks, and XWL Women's Champion Sister April. She crosses her arms, making sure she's warmed and ready to "dominate" them when her partner Natalya walks up. Before Natalya can say a word, Dana's already beaten her to the punch.


[Dana Brooke]
Oh hey Natalya, perfect timing, I actually wanted to talk to you about something.. I know our tag match tonight is a pretty big deal for you since you know, you haven't really beaten April OR Sasha before, but I was thinking tonight I'm gonna take the reigns. No offense, you're a great coach, but considering I've actually beaten her before, and you haven't-.. Look, I think you and I both knew this would happen sooner or later.



Dana's arrogance doesn't please Natalya one bit, but she knows this isn't going to be an instantaneous growth, it's going to take time before Dana understands the error in her behavior so she has to exercise patience and understanding but that doesn't mean she can't reprimand her right now.

[Natalya]
While I admire your spirit, I'm going to need you to settle your teakettle. This isn't Dana versus April, or Dana versus Sasha, this you and I, versus them. It's a tag-team match, which means we are equal partners. I'm not the leader, and you know what? Neither are you. The only thing that needs to happen is you need to own up to HOW you beat April. Because I'm going to only say this once, Dana. If you try and pull that out there tonight? You won't have to worry about Sasha trying to break up the pin, I'll waltz right into that ring and do it myself.  We are in their with the Number One Contender, and The XWL Women's Champion, this is an opportunity for both of us, you to prove you can win without any dirty tricks, and my chance to be the one that's ready and waiting for whoever leaves Breakthrough with that title.


[Dana Brooke]
You know Nattie, when you actually BEAT someone, then we can have a chat about being equal. I don't play dirty, I get the job done. Because if there's one thing Dana Brooke doesn't do, it's disappoint.


[Natalya]
Well you sure disappointed me two weeks ago, and honestly, I'm pretty disappointed in you right now. But we CAN have that chat because I've not just beaten someone, I've beaten YOU. And you know what, Dana? I didn't have to blind you to get it. You think you've got it all figured out, but you don't. Because as soon as you were chosen by Sister April, you came to me for help. And instead of listening to my advice, you went against it, making a terrifying new enemy. On top of the one you made at Roulette, when you attacked Sasha Banks as she accepted my Open Challenge. And tonight? You're up against the BOTH of them. So are you really that caught up in your own ego that you can't see we have to be on the same page tonight?


Dana stands there silent, letting in all soak in, before responding.


[Dana Brooke]
Fair enough, Nat, but when the dust settles? Everyone is going to see that Dana Brooke is NOT the weakest link. Because this is my playground, and playtime? Is OVER. Let's go.



Dana tries to grab Natalya by her wrist and lead her on, still trying to be the leader in this situation despite their talk but Natalya isn't budging.


[Natalya]
While I appreciate the compliment, as much as I hate to say it I wasn't born yesterday. So no, we're not going anywhere until you say it. Say we are equal, say that if things get tough out there, you won't try to handle it yourself out of fear of looking "weak." Because weakness isn't needing help, it's needing help, and being too proud to accept it. So, are we in this together or not?



Realizing she's not getting anywhere, she stands there, then sighs.


[Dana Brooke]
FINE. We're equal.


Biting her cheek, giving her a nod, she tries to lead them away again, this time Natalya doesn't stand her ground she takes Dana's words and hopes they're true. The two head off to prepare for their match as it draws near.

After losing last week to Eva Marie, Charlotte has been very quiet. The crowd had yet to hear from the boisterous daughter of the Nature Boy for the last two weeks, something that they definitely weren't complaining about. However, as soon as the camera cut to Charlotte backstage, the crowd drowned her in massive boos and hisses, to which Charlotte simply rolled her eyes. Charlotte looked around her private locker room as her father strolled in, a collection of cheers and Wooos from the audience now.

[RIC FLAIR]
Charlotte, my baby girl...YOU need to get somethin' done! You were supposed to be facin' the champ! At Breakthrough! You! You, my girl, were supposed to break through and become the XWL Women's Champion! WOOO! But instead! Instead ya ain't even got yourself a match! But...the Nature Boy being the legend that he is, styled...and profiled...his way into getting you on the show, baby!

Charlotte had been tuning out her old man as he rambled on for about the third time that afternoon about her degrading loss to Eva Marie in Eva's first match in eight months, having been distracted by Alexa Bliss who had lost earlier in the night allowing Eva to hit her with her Sliced Red finisher. Charlotte growled in anger at the recollection before looking up at her father upon hearing he'd gotten her a match on the show.

[CHARLOTTE]
Wait, you what? Dad! I...I don't even know if I want to go out there anymore. That little...little midget humiliated me! I lost to some hasbeen who hadn't wrestled in almost a year! That tournament was supposed to be mine but instead I'm stuck here with some throwaway match! It...it's an outrage!

[RIC FLAIR]
I know, Princess, I know. And that's why I went to Miss Layla El and got you the match that you been wanting!

[CHARLOTTE]
Wait, you got me a title match!?

[RIC FLAIR]
Well...not quite...but I got ya the next best thing. I got ya a match, one on one, mano a mano, with Alexa Bliss! Wooo!

Charlotte's eyebrows perked up at her father's response. While she was disappointed that she wasn't receiving a title match, a match with the woman who cost her said title match wasn't too far off from being a prize in it of itself. A sinister, malicious grin formed on the lips of the daughter of the sixteen time World Champion as she adjusted her top, looking up at her father.

[CHARLOTTE]
Have I ever mentioned that you're the best dad in the world, Dad? So, since the holidays are next week, I figured I'd give you a Christmas present. I'm going to give you the gift of your daughter doing what she does best: Styling and profiling all over Alexa Bliss and walking out of her first special event victorious. Wooo!

[RIC FLAIR]
WOOOOOOOO! Ha ha! Let's go! The champ in the makin' needs to get a lil' more trainin! You need to get your fanny in the gym, pronto!

Nodding her head, Charlotte kneeled down to tie up her knee-high boot before zipping up her bags, hoisting them onto her shoulder as the father and daughter made their way out of the room while the camera faded into the next segment.

Camera cuts backstage to a cold dark damp part of the arena to a room that looks run down. The camera shows the door and engraved into it is letters that say Cactus Lair Enter If You Dare. The door then opens and the cameraman goes inside to where a figure is standing in the middle of the room. The camera zooms in on the figure who is revealed to be Cactus Jack.

Cactus Jack: Two weeks I have been pondering my next move, planning my strategy, up dating the war plan perfecting plan B. I had Plan A all set, I was going to get my one on one opportunity to face Kruger and all it was going to take was to beat Sami Zayn which I have done many times before. The match was planned out my strategy perfect and then all my plans came crumbling down because of one man.

Cactus Jack: One man and his idiotic mind thought he was clever enough to get round defending his IC title against me, that one man thought he had escaped, thought it was clever to try and lay me out and in doing so made it 100 times worse for himself. Kruger you stupid son of a bitch you know damn well I deserved to face you one on one but know you got scared, you are running from me and now because of your actions I am having to fight 3 other men including your for my prize. Zayn doesn't deserve it, and Eric young isn't even involved but yet they manage to make it into our world, our war but that just means another two victims to add to my list.

Cactus Jack: And then here's the kicker out general manager thinks it's a good idea to team me with Kruger for tonight hahaha wow aren't you full off bright ideas. Putting two men who can't stand each other on the same team like that's going to end well. However Kruger if you stay in check and stay out of my way maybe just maybe we can get back to me and you and take the competition out early . Just think about that you get only one person to face and I get what I want it's a win win situation isn't it ? Or do you not have the brain cells to work that out?

Cactus Jack: Either way you better stay out of my way as after the stunt you pulled you should be thanking the gods that I don't tear you apart. I'm angry, frustrated and in the baddest mood possible so Zayn and Eric young you guys better be ready as this anger, this pain, this frustration needs to be taken out on someone and it looks like you two are the sacrificial lambs sent to the slaughter so be ready and if you survive tonight and make it to the PPV you better hope I leave enough of you to even allow you a slight chance to compete in the match let alone win.

Cactus Jack: You see I have the most to lose here, I'm the one that's gone all in, it's all or nothing for me but if I don't win then Kruger my friend you'll be coming down with me as if I can't get the pleasure of winning the gold then you won't get the pleasure of retaining it. I need this championship, I crave it, it's like an addiction and my addiction needs to be calmed and at breakthrough my time will come the reign of the extreme lunatic will begin and it will be everyone's worst nightmare. HAVE A NICE DAY ! BANG !BANG !

Tag Team Match







Kruger after tagging Foley realizes his moment, and Irish whips him outta the ring. Foley goes crashing to the floor. Sami Zayn backs out of the ring, and lifts up the apron looking for something. Eric Young, and Leo Kruger begin trading blows. Sami pulls out a steel chair, and slides back into the ring. He rushes over to Kruger, and Eric sees ducks out of the way. Sami begins to swing the steel chair, and Kruger punches it right out of Sami's hands. Being dazed by Kruger's sheer force of power Zayn turns right into Eric Young' s finishing move the EY adjustment. Eric Young stands up, and turns right into a slice from Kruger. Kruger stands tall taunting in the ring untill BANG ! Out of nowhere Cactus Jack is back and he has just smacked Leo Kruger in the back with his barbed wired bat. Kruger drops to his knees in agony. Cactus then bounces of the ropes and runs straight at kruger leaping at him and pushing the wooden part of the bat to Krugers neck choking him with it as Kruger lays in agony on the canvas.

Cactus Jack then begins to lay a barrage off punches into Krugers head. He is enraged the anger has taken over. Kruger has awoken the dark side of Cactus Jack who is just pummeling Kruger in the face with punches. Cactus then gets up and grabs the barbed wired bat again. This time he starts to swing the bat ontop of Krugers mid section tearing apart Krugers ring attire and causing the skin to be cut open. Cactus Jack then goes over to Krugers head and starts to rake the bat over Krugers Skull cutting open Krugers forheas as Kruger yells in pain. Cactus then picks up Kruger and drags him to one of the corners of the ring and rests him on the bottom turnbuckle. Cactus then walks to the middle of the ring as Kruger lyes motionless and helpless.Cactus then picks up the barbed wired bat again runs straight a kruger and dives into Krugers abdomen causing more punishment with the bat. Cactus then drags Krugers body into the center of the ring and stand over it. Cactus has this huge sadistic grin on his face, almost a look of pride for what he has done. Cactus then rolls out and goes over to the time keepers area and grabs Krugers IC title off a scared announcer. He climbs back into the ring and sits down behind Kruger. Cactus then pulls Krugers body over him with Krugers bloodied head cradled in his arm. Cactus then lifts the Intercontinental Title into the air as he servays the landscape. Everyone is down for the count bar him.

Corey Graves: Is this the scene we will see at the PPV ? Will Cactus Jack walk out with the title and finally win the big one ? What a viscous attack we have just witnessed ladies and gentleman I wouldn't want to be in the ring with Cactus Jack at the PPV after that display.

Camera fades away zoomed in on Cactus Jacks sadistic smile as XWL goes to a break.

The XWL Logo flashes on the screen as we are taken backstage. Jeff Hardy would appear as the crowd start to cheer and chant his name. He has not been seen since his own brother, his flesh and blood had attacked him several weeks ago and left him beaten and broken on the stage. Jeff Hardy looked at the ground, breathing heavily he would look up at the camera, this was not the Jeff Hardy of old, this was a man who was pissed, who wanted one thing, revenge.

He would breath heavily now as he looks down, there was pain in those eyes, his own brother had done this to him. Of course they had fallen out throughout the years, they have crossed paths numerous times, locked up in that ring, but it was always business, they would always embrace afterwards and share a cold one in the back, but this was now no longer business, this was personal.

He would spit on the floor, talking about his brother would bring out the worst in him, everything that has happened has happened because of Matt Hardy. He has missed matches because of him, he has lost his daughter because of him, Matt Hardy is out to destroy him and he is doing a damn good job about it.

Jeff KNEW he was nothing without me. When he turned his back on me he woke me up. He showed me the REAL Matt Hardy. He gave me that fire, because I knew. Right then that I wanted the chance. I wanted to be the one to send Matt crashing down to the bottom of the barrell. I knew that I wanted to be the one that made Matt Hardy see what he's done to himself. But my biggest goal, that'll be much - much sweeter. Matt, my biggest goal is to make you SUFFER. To WIPE your name from the history books! To make it seem as if you had never even existed, because right now Matt? You're a disgrace. A disgrace to ME. A disgrace to MY FAMILY! A disgrace to THIS BUSINESS! We go back to the alley where Bray Wyatt was earlier. But he is no longer there. The Cameraman looks around until a little girl grabs his hand. He jumps, but regains his composure

The girl leads the Cameraman around the corner to where Bray Wyatt lays in a pile of garbage. His face is bloody, nose broken; as he favors his shoulder.

CAMERAMAN
Hey man, you ok? Let me call-

Wyatt cuts him off before wiping the blood off his face

BRAY WYATT
No, that will not be necessary, for this is my penance.

CAMERAMAN
What? Did the Undertaker do this?

Wyatt holds his hand over his face, assessing the damage.


BRAY WYATT
No. Along my previous path of destruction and vile hate, I have wronged many. Many with reason, many with cause. No this was not the Undertaker. But a beast that will not, shall not fade. Shall not die. No matter what, it will always rise. My true penance as begun I suppose.

Before the Cameraman can respond there is a noise behind him, he turns around just as a hand covers the camera lens and the screen goes black. There is a scuffle, then a loud metallic crunch before the feed cuts out.

We go to the next segment

A video plays highlighting the recent events between AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar, and Matt Sydal. It reminds us of what happened on The Season Premiere of Anarchy when AJ Styles crossed a line, intentionally injuring the man that deemed himself the future, putting that future into question. The very next week when that future was once again threatened when The World Heavyweight Champion would snap once more, attacking the injury he was responsible for, showing no mercy, garnering a reaction he wasn't familiar with, boos. Boos for assaulting the man everyone couldn't stand because he took it too far, he didn't give him a busted lip, a black eye, he tried to end his career...in a way, we wouldn't wish on anyone, not even our worst enemy. We then see one last clip, a cut recap of the meeting Matt, Paul Heyman, and Layla had in her office as she prepared to announce The Main-Event of Breakthrough. But The Golden Ticket refused to sit out the match he was robbed of due to the injury. No, he begged Layla for the match, and Paul for his own obvious reasons, to include a man Brock could beat "easily" to regain his title...came to bat for Matt Sydal leading to Layla regretfully agreeing to make it official, unofficially. An unsanctioned Triple Threat Match, Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles, and Matt Sydal for The World Heavyweight Championship. Tonight they're set to sign the contract and set this perhaps career threatening match in stone. As the recap comes to a close, having caught us up on everything that's lead to this night...we see none other than Josh Matthews standing outside the trainer's room.

Ladies and Gentlemen, an hour ago Matt Sydal hopped his way into the room behind me for one final evaluation from XWL's medical staff. As of then, Matt was still not medically cleared to compete, we understand the purpose of this meeting was for XWL's medical personnel to have an opportunity to explain the gravity of this injury to Matt, and what he faces if he chooses to go against their advice and sign the contract tonight, making it official.




[Josh Matthews]
General Manager Layla with support, of the owner himself Vince McMahon have allowed Matt Sydal, should he choose to...to compete in this match. But they want to make sure he understands the risk he faces by doing so. This may have gotten personal very fast between he and AJ Styles, but is it worth potentially never competing again just to protect his ego? Just to not allow AJ Styles the satisfaction of eliminating him from the equation as he obviously expected he had?


As Josh poses that last question, we see Matt Sydal himself, with the aid of his gold crutches stepping towards the door, prompting Josh to turn and address him.

Matt, sorry to bother you, but we've gotta know...how did things go in there?



Matt stops, sighing, looking down at his golden cast.

Honestly? About as good as could be expected. Three weeks ago someone tried to end my career, and a week later? They tried to finish the job. But here I stand, barely...still...I stand. I stand here after telling those doctors that I don't give a damn how many times they try to explain this situation because they? They don't get it. This isn't about salvaging my ego, this isn't about whipping his ass, though that's an added incentive. This is about The World Heavyweight Championship. This is about preserving everything it stands for, everything I MADE it stand for at it's highest peak. It may have been out of my grasp for longer than I might like, but despite that it has remained, prestigious. It remained an honor to hold, and defend. So when a man or a boy that tries to pass himself off as a "man" tries to tarnish that? Tries to go against the only moral standing I have, and injure the threat to his reign, instead of fighting him? I don't let him succeed, I become the bringer of his FAILURE.

But, can you truly bring that if you're incapable of even standing on two feet? Surely you have to still be in a lot of pain, and a no holds barred match means that you're going to be in even more of it.

You remember what happened on The Season Premiere a month ago? AJ Styles stomped a hole that would rival the Grand Canyon in what was once my calf, he then placed my barely still attached calf, between a car door....a sedan, to the point I will never be able to open a sedan's car door without reliving the horrific trauma I endured...he slammed that door, over...and over...and over...and over...and over....and over....AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER!! He did that, as I cried, yes I cried because my entire career, I've worked so damn hard to be the best, to give that ring, and those people regardless of how I felt about them, my all. I saw all of that coming to an end. I begged him to stop, I pleaded, but how did he respond? By wrapping a chain around where my calf used to be, and literally trying to kill not only that but my career as well.


You can see the pain in his eyes, but also the fire that pain has brought out.

I was in the most pain I've ever endured, so you know what? If I survived that? If I didn't have to announce the end of my career after everything he did to me. Then there's nothing he and nothing Brock can do at Breakthrough to BREAK me. I've said it since day one, everyone LOVES to underestimate me. They see a small guy, a guy that talks a big game, so surely he can't back it up. But that's always been the difference between everyone else, and ME. I say something, and I do it. So when I say I will stop at NOTHING to leave that match as World Heavyweight Champion, that means I will fight through pain, I will keep getting up, if I have to hop up, if I lose feeling in this leg to the point I physically can't stand, I will CRAWL, I will dig my nails into that mat to maneuver myself into a winning position. I will drag myself, as my blood, sweat, and tears stain the mat. WHATEVER I have to do, I will do it. And I don't care how I leave that match, carried off by referees, stretchered out on a gurney, scraped off the canvas...All that matters is making sure The World Heavyweight Championship, and EVERYTHING it stands for isn't destroyed like that bastard tried to destroy me!  Does that answer your question, Josh? Good. Because I've got a contract to get signed, so if you'll excuse me.



With the help of his crutches, Matt hops away, having made quite the statement. His lack of fear, lack of regard for his own well-being, should make for an interesting element in Breakthrough's Unsanctioned Main-Event.

Jericho comes out hyped up and taking in all the energy around him but, he's not wearing his normal light up jacket that everyone loves so much, instead it's a red velvet scarf draped around his neck, he is also wearing jeans and a Fozzy shirt and in his right hand is a bag of some sort. Obviously didn't come here tonight to fight.

Jericho struts down the ramp mic in hand as he yells to the crowd to hype them up even more, but, at this point you couldn't hype them more even if Styles came out and said he was retiring. He enters the ring and smiles as he begins to speak
