THE night has finally arrived, and we begin the show much like we began Final Stand, not with an immediate introduction to an extravagant display of pyrotechnics, and our commentary team welcoming us to this exciting night...no, instead we see our very own Poster Woman to this event, The XWL Women's Champion standing without her title, with the echoing of thunder in the background, as light mist falls behind her. Perhaps most unusual of all, is the fact that everything is in black and white.



"The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning, in the Miami Area...those inside of The American Airlines Center are advised to vacate immediately or else you too, will be washed away by the torrential change on the rise."


She turns her head, and the misting begins to get heavier..the thunder, louder.



"But for us, for The Superstars, there's no running, there's no hiding, there's no escaping...what's coming our way."



She looks around, as the camera zooms out, showing the rain spreading on all side of her, as her space remains dry.



"The winds, they howl like wolves on the hunt."


Suddenly Leo Kruger, Luke Harper, Braun Strowman, and Batista appear to her left, the rain falling down their intense faces.




"And when it Reigns..."


The Pack vanishes, and Roman Reigns now stands where they once stood, his fist cocked, as he prepares to weather the storm ready for it's challenges.



"The whole world will know that something crazy...is upon us."



The camera shifts to her right, where The World Heavyweight Champion stands, raising his title unphased by the rain, just as he's been unphased by the challenges he's already had to endure.




"Because we're not just talking about the rain, no...it's much, much more terrifying than that."



The images of tonight's Main-Event combatants fade, replaced by The Intercontinental Champion Raven, and Bray Wyatt, standing side by side...striking fear into us just by the look in their eyes alone...but seconds later, lightning flashes behind them...and there stands the striking duo of CM Punk, and Sheamus, prepared to bring about the end, of what they began.




"Only those deemed phenomenal, those ready to eat, sleep, conquer, repeat, can weather this storm. For you must not, submit to it's challenge."



At the exact same time, appears Brock Lesnar to her left, AJ Styles to her right, staring through the increasing pouring rain at one another.




"No one is safe"



Her head turns to the left, there stands the woman that's been her friend, her enemy...motioning around her waist that the title's coming home with her, as the rain crashes down on Michelle McCool. Shifting her gaze to the right, stands the woman that made her defense tonight come into question, the challenger that delivered a Package Piledriver to Layla on her own championship. With a sinister smile on her face, Mia Yim as nonchalantly motions the title will be hers. Fully focused back on Layla herself, she stares into our eyes, with a cold look on her face.




"Not even me."


And with that, suddenly her safe space shielded from the rain, becomes drowned in pouring water, falling in buckets on her, the heaviest downpour of any sight we've seen. As the camera pans down, revealing The Women's Championship at her feet, the water beginning to submerge the championship



"For this is no ordinary storm, this an unprecedented...."



Thunder rumbles in the background, as quickly the water rises, higher and higher, until the title is fully drowned by the copious amounts of rain falling down on her. Slowly the camera rises, gazing into the eyes of Layla, water dripping down her face, her hair soaked. She's not safe from tonight, because she might not even be competing. She's currently not known to be medically cleared, which means if she isn't in time for The Triple Threat Women's Championship Match...she'll be forced to sit back and watch as her reign, gets washed away. Her eyes intensify, and she stares right into the camera.


"Downpour."



As she says that final word, we zoom out, revealing once again The Women's Championship, flooded at her feet. She looks up at the sky, the rain pelting her...as we fade away, and tonight's show officially goes live.

What a match this should be to kick of the show! A championship battle of the ages. Friend against friend, enemy against enemy!

My God, what a war! Bray Wyatt coming out victorious after an hour of chaos! What a match to open Downpour! BRAY WYATT is XWLs new Intercontinental Champion! Taking the title from his new partner by pinning the man of his personal vendetta. This can't be good John, i got a bad feeling about this.

JBL
What for Maggle? Wyatt has been a man on a mission to free us all. This is just the next step

Cole
Good grief, dont tell me you're drinking the kool aid now?

Wyatt stands in the ring looking over all the destruction and chaos. The ref comes into the ring, handing him the I.C title. Wyatt takes it and holds it in his hand, studying it. He looks over as Raven slides into the ring and comes up to him


COLE
This can't be good. Wyatt essentially just stole Ravens title, after knocking him to the floor.

JBL
All bets are off during a match. every man for himself. It's war!

Raven stares at Wyatt and points and the title in his hand. Wyatt raises it high, looking back. Ready for a fight. Instead of that, Raven nods and shrugs his shoulders smacking Wyatt on the back. The announcer comes into the ring with a mic in hand to see if Wyatt wants to say anything. Wyatt hands the title to Raven to hold. Wyatt looks at the mic, then the announcer, he grins before grabbing him and delivering Sister Abigail. Wyatt laughs as Raven gives him back the title. Raven stomps on the announcer few times before they get out of the ring. They head up the ramp.

COLE
These are nothing but Monsters. That announcer was just doing his job!

JBL
He's happy for him Maggle! They are a brotherhood.

COLE
This cant be good, not good at all. I hope he explains himself.

IT'S TIME!

Tonight on Downpour, we will see two men face off against each other to prove who's best, who belongs, who deserves to move up to the next level of competition. These two men have been back and forth with each other for weeks and are going to resolve their issues here tonight.

DANIEL BRYAN



Tonight is the night we find out who is better. Finn Bálor or Daniel Bryan? One man will win and one man will lose. Who will come out the victor? Let's find out....





The smoke is clearing and the fans are going electric! In the midst of the remaining smoke we see "The Demon" Finn Balor....



[Michael Cole]
I have been waiting for this moment for weeks! This match should be epic!

[Jerry Lawler]
I agree Cole. But I have to admit, when Finn Bálor comes out as this "Demon", I get chills!

[JBL]
Stop being such a baby Jerry. It's still Finn underneath all of that paint. Even so, I expect him to tear apart this goat faced loser he's facing tonight.

[Michael Cole]
Ladies and gentleman, regardless of what John says, this match will be a back and forth affair that could go either man's way.

Finn Bálor has made it into the ring and the fans are loving his entrance, even if they don't love the man himself. Finn is ignoring the fans though and is proceeding with his "Demon" persona. He stares up into the sky as he finishes his entrance while the fans remember who is underneath the paint and start booing him...



Finn Bálor awaits in the ring for his opponent. The fans are going nuts because they know who is coming out and they can't wait. "Yes!" chants have started and they are going strong. When Daniel Bryan's music hits, the crowd erupts and it gets insanely loud in the arena....



YES!

Daniel Bryan walks out but he isn't his usual self. He doesn't do his "Yes!" chants and instead just walks straight down the ramp...



[Michael Cole]
Daniel Bryan looks intense tonight!

[Jerry Lawler]
He should Cole! After weeks of torment, he finally gets to get in the ring with this "Demon".

[JBL]
All the intensity in the world isn't going to save Daniel Bryan from the Authority's hitman. Mark my words gentle man, tonight is the last time we see Daniel Bryan.

Daniel Bryan gets in the ring and walks straight up to Finn Bálor's face and stares him down. The referee gets in between the two men and tells them to go to their separate corners. They listen but they stare at each other the whole time. It's finally time to get this match underway and the arena is going crazy!







[Lillian Garcia]
AND YOUR WINNER IS, DANIEL BRYAN!!!!



[Michael Cole]
HE DID IT! Daniel Bryan defeated the "Demon"!

[JBL]
I can't believe this! This is a travesty! Finn Bálor got screwed!

[Jerry Lawler]
No he didn't John. He was not the better man tonight, if ever. That claim gets to go to Daniel Bryan!

The fans are loving this right now. Daniel Bryan is running around the ring touching hands with all the fans in the front row. He jumps the barricade and proceeds to shake hands with as many fans as he can manage.

[Michael Cole]
I can't wait to see what the future has next for Daniel Bryan.

[Jerry Lawler]
Neither can I Cole. I see great things in this guys future.

[JBL]
I see a lot of pain in his future once the Authority get their hands on Daniel Bryan.

[Michael Cole]
Can't you just be happy for once? Enjoy the sight of Daniel Bryan embracing all of his fans.

[JBL]
Shut up Michael!

Downpour cuts to commercial with Daniel Bryan and the fans chanting....

YES!

YES!

A replay of what happened earlier in the night begins to play, highlighting the end of the Intercontinental Championship match between three hungry challengers and one champion. The Best in the World, CM Punk, was gaining momentum as he took down Sheamus and sent Raven back down to the outside of the ring... And then it all came crashing down as he was caught with a Sister Abigail and pinned. One. Two. Three. Your winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion... Not CM Punk, but Bray Wyatt. The cameras fade to a black, the last image we see is of Bray Wyatt holding his newly won title, and then they fade back in to the backstage area. On one of the containers sat CM Punk with eyes closed and his fingers rubbing against his temple.



A brief second later, the camera begins to move itself a little closer to the man who sat there with a big 'L' now stamped into his record book in a match where most fans slated him as the man who should walk out as the new champion. He was the fan favorite of the match after all, so it should come to no surprise that he was the man who people wanted to see hold that championship title. His fingers continued to press into his temple, rubbing it for a couple more seconds before his voice was finally heard.

[CM PUNK]
Bray Wyatt is one sneaky son of a bitch, isn't he?

And he continued, stopping only to let out a laugh.

[CM PUNK]
I could feel that championship in my grasp. I could feel the tips of my fingers touching it. It was right there and... I let it slip away. I let the championship slip away from my grasp because yeah, maybe I did get a little too confident. Or maybe it's just the fatal four way doing it's job and I forgot that I needed to have eyes in the back of my head with a match like this. Or maybe I haven't gave Wyatt the credit that he so rightfully deserves. I don't know. The one thing I know is that I don't want to sit here and make excuses because that's not going to change the fact that CM Punk isn't your new Intercontinental Champion.

His right hand was brought up to his left shoulder where he applied a bit of pressure to the part of his body that he felt hurt the most. Every inch of his body hurt after that match, but his shoulder was the area that was probably hit the hardest. The Best in the World couldn't pinpoint the exact moment that it happened, but somewhere during that match was when he took a stiff bump to his shoulder and boy was it aching now.

[CM PUNK]
This here shoulder hurts like a mother fucker, and my back kind of hurts too, but you know what? In the end, all of this was worth it. All of this pain and the fact that I'm going to wake up tomorrow morning sore as hell? Most of the people don't realize this but it's going to be worth it because now I have more of a reason to want to kick that son of a bitch back to the swamp in which he came from AND beat him for the championship that should be mine. Because him and I, we have some unfinished business that doesn't involve Sheamus and Raven. I still laid out the challenge to Bray Wyatt, and he accepted it, so as far as I'm concerned? I'll be seeing Wyatt very soon. It doesn't matter when, or where, just as long as I get to tangle my dirty little hands in that beard of his and rip every last strand of hair out from the root.

BROGUE KICK!

From literally out of nowhere, Sheamus ran at full speed right at CM Punk who was sitting down and smashed his boot as hard as he could right into the head of none other than CM Punk. CM Punk head slams back against the wall as he slumps against it, but the Celtic Warrior was not yet done as he would quickly grab CM Punk as he through him as hard as he could right onto the concrete floor. He stands over CM Punk and looks down at him, a look of annoyance, anger and hatred as this man cost him everything tonight. He holds his hands out to his side and shrugs.

Sheamus
(5:15)
"Are you not entertained?"

He then lowers down and grabs the back of CM Punk head as he strikes him once, then twice and then over and over again, driving his fist right into the skull of CM Punk until his knuckles are bloody. He then drops him down and would then kick him hard in the side of the ribs. CM Punk rolls a little bit as Sheamus them stomps on the injured shoulder.

Sheamus
(5:15)
"That was my title! My championship to won and you ruined it for me. You ruined my tag team match and then you cost me my championship. Your weakness is your own doing, I will not allow you to latch onto me and drag me down with you. Raven was mine to defeat, mine to end. That title was to go back around my waist and your weakness handed it to Bray Wyatt! Well fella, you have made a powerful enemy, forget about Bray Wyatt, you won't be dealing with him, that fat fella is mine and you are a message! I am the only true champion XWL needs and I will retake everything that was robbed from me and reclaim my kingdom!"

He then kicks the shoulder one more time as he steps over CM Punk, leaving him laying there. The Straight Edged Superstar was now hurting more than ever as Sheamus had made his anger of the outcome of the match loud and clear.

The lights in the arena go out. A spotlight shines down at the top of the ramp to show Leo Kruger squatting at the top of the ramp.



As Kruger walks down the ramp he looks directly into the ramp as yells into it.

.:Leo Kruger:.
IT'S TIME TO HUNT!

Kruger pushes the camera out of his face, and it crashes to the floor. We switched to a different camera where it shows Kruger getting into the ring. Kruger goes to the farthest corner and turns around then sits in the corner waiting for his prey to come down the ramp.





Austin Aries theme hits and a big smirk crosses the face of Leo Kruger as he knows it's almost time. Austin Aries steps out onto the stage.




The fans cheer with excitement as Austin Aries continues his way down the ramp. Austin stops right before the ring, and looks right at Kruger who is watching his every move. Aries closes his eyes then takes in a deep breath.

.:JBL:.
Austin Aries looking a little weary getting into the ring tonight..

.:Michael Cole:.
I mean wouldn't you getting into the ring with Leo Kruger?

He jumps onto the apron and gets into the ring. Kruger stands up immediately, and quickly starts walking to Austin Aries. The ref tries as much as possible to stop Kruger from getting closer to Aries before the match starts, but isn't strong enough to hold him back. Kruger now stands right in front of Austin Aries. A couple of more refs jump into the ring to back Kruger away from Aries. As they are backing Kruger away from Aries he gets in a cheap headbutt.

.:Jerry Lawler:.
Oh! What a cheap headbutt by Kruger!

Austin grabs his head. Refs check with him to see if he is okay to continue. Kruger laughs watching the ref.

.:JBL:.
Do you see that? Kruger finds enjoyment out of hurting others!

Aries pushes the refs away, and yells.

.:Austin Aries:.
RING THE DAMN BELL!

A slight smirk crosses the face of Leo Kruger as the bell rings.





.:Jerry Lawler:.
NO AUSTIN DON'T JUMP!

When Austin Aries jumps off the top rope doing a 450 splash. Kruger manages to roll out of the way in just the nick of time. The two men lie there the ref sticks his head between the top and second rope to check on Kruger, and Aries. He begins to count as they still lie there motionless.

Kruger begins to stir, and makes it to his feet. An evil smirks crosses the face of Leo Kruger as he looks down upon Austin Aries body. Kruger puts his hand against the barricade watching, and hunches over waiting for Aries to rise to his feet.

Austin Aries begins to show life as he begins to move. Kruger begins laughing as Aries struggles to get to his feet. He begins to grit his teeth as the perfect moment to strike is soon arriving. Aries uses the barricade to pull himself up to his feet. At this moment Aries has his back turned to Kruger. He slowly turns around, and Kruger bursts out into a full sprint, and nearly takes Aries head off with a slice.

.:Jerry Lawler:.
I don't think Austin Aries knows where he is anymore.

.:JBL:.
I haven't seen a clothesline that good since well me...

Kruger quickly stands up, and lets out a powerful yell as he asserts his dominance as the alpha wolf. The ref begins counting as Aries lies knocked out cold.

Kruger raises his arm high above his head, and beats his chest with the other as the camera fades to black for a commercial break.

Hi, I'm Michael Cole and you're watching an XWL interview. My guest tonight? The Future, Seth Rollins. Glad to have you here tonight Seth.



Glad to be here Cole.

(Michael Cole)
Okay Seth, I won't waste your time and I cut straight to the chase. Another week, another time you don't have a match. And unlike the last two weeks it doesn't look like The Authority are just gonna throw someone at you. I suppose my question is...why are The Authority treating you this way Seth?


Seth sighs a little before beginning to talk


To be honest with you Michael...I don't really have a clue. It seemed not too long ago that I was the chosen one. King of the Ring. The Intercontinental Champ. And now? I'm a nobody. Even to Hunter and Steph. The only thing that comes to my is that, well, you have to look at the situation from a business stand point. The Authority are always looking towards the future. That how they evolve and strive. And what is their version of the future? Finn Balor. The Demon. To them he seems hungrier than me. He seems more vicious than me. He seems better than me.

(Michael Cole)
And what do you think?

Seth laughs lightly at the question



You want to know what I think of Finn Balor? I'll be honest with you Cole. I think the man is an amazing athlete. And I think he's gonna go far in this business. However...What did I say would happen last week?

(Michael Cole)
You said he would not defeat Daniel Bryan.


I said he wouldn't defeat Bryan. Because as good as Balor is...he is still kind of green at times. And when the lights are on brightest he still can falter. He hasn't reached that level yet and he will one day. But just not tonight. You want to know who DID be Daniel Bryan? I did Cole. I beat Daniel Bryan in front of everyone by myself! And did I get any respect for it? No. I went out there and beat the crap out of Bryan. I softened him up and Balor STILL couldn't get the job done. But I'M old news. I'M overlooked. And I'll tell you right now Cole that it's the most infuriating thing imaginable. But hey, this is the Authority's game. They will play it there way. And I shall play it MY way.

(Michael Cole)
Seth, you're two former brothers are due in battle tonight. Do you have any preference for who wins?



Preference? PREFERENCE? I don't care WHO wins that match Cole. The only thing I care about is that World title and how I'm gonna get it around MY waist. This little best buddy drama between these two bore me. I don't really give a damn. All I know is I'm gonna scratch and claw my way to the top. Rather The Authority wants me to, or Roman, or even Dean Ambrose. I didn't come here to spectate or cheer people on. I came to win and be a champion.

(Michael Cole)
That being said...what is next for Seth Rollins?



Isn't that the question. What is next for The Future. Cole, if given the chance, people like Wyatt and Ambrose wouldn't have a title to call their own. What separates Seth Rollins from all the other athletic and talented wrestlers is that I play this game of human chest better than anyone. Nobody thinks like I do. Nobody plans like I do. And very few can even wrestle close to what I can do. And I'm going to show everyone just why i'm the real deal around here. The Future Michael...is looking very bright.

All of a sudden after we return from commercial break, The arena lights change colors to gold and black. The start of the stage is covered in a spotlight for only this specific person. Every moment passes and you can hear a couple screams from the crowd. The camera of the phones flashing and a slight movement from behind the curtain. The camera crew spans the entire arena until they reach an “Sami Zayn > Adam Cole” sign.

The music begins to pick up. The anticipation is undisputable, everyone is eager to see if it is Adam Cole making his long awaited return back to XWL grounds. A white background takes over the titantron briefly and Adam Cole’s name is in big bold letters with him posing behind it in a still frame. The curtains get pushed open with Adam Cole emerging from them as this happens.




Chewing on his gum lightly, His hands up to the side of his head. Stepping to take his place right on top of the spotlight with his feet embedded into the stage. His glossy locks dampened from water he threw in previously. He begins to bend over to come eye to eye with the stage. His hands folded together in between his legs touching his inner thigh. Everyone in the rows next to him has themselves ready to yell out in unison with Cole.



He flicks his hair back and shows his very well structured face. His eyes bouncing off of the light and he lets out a sharp ADAM COLE BAY BAY! His index finger and thumb on each hand makes his insignia complete.




Tugging at his elbow-pad to put it in the right place, he whirls his forearm around. Making his way down the ramp perplexed at the sight he’s seeing. The screaming girls and fans all wanting a piece of Cole to take home and call it mine. He reaches the sign shown earlier and rips it out of the fans hands after smirking. Begging the fan to hit him pointing to the side of his face to let him get the first shot. He backs off and mocks the angry fanboy of Zayn.




Passing the side of the post, he uses his pointer finger to show the outline of his face. You can hear a couple of the fans shrill at the appearance of him up close in a good manner. Winking at them, he picks up the pace and is wound up near the apron.


The 2nd rope collide into his hands after gripping them with one hand and in the other wiping his face. Getting all the way up onto the apron watching his footing. He backs up into the rope and stands still to soak in the “all eye’s on me” moment. His hair falls over his face whilst he looks down at the padding around the ring. He’s looking straight to the camera lidded.



Shaking his arm in a vivacious way, he makes his pose, his elbow tilted as the spotlight is on him in every way. Scowling and turning his thumb to point to him as he smiles showing the white piece of gum in his mouth. Through the 2nd rope he goes and up to the 2nd turnbuckle without breaking a sweat or an ounce of nerves in his body. He remains confident and focused, he lets them bask in the greatness that is Adam Cole. Making a lot of snide comments off-mic and facial expressions. He jumps off the turnbuckle and runs his hands through his hair with the music slowly fading out.



The fans cheer loudly as Sami Zayn rushes out from behind the curtain and yells along with the fans,


LETS GO!

Marching along to the beat of his music he makes his way down the ramp, he stops in front of the fan that had his sign taken from him and reaches into his jacket and pulls out a Sami Zayn sign made out of some construction paper that he seemed to fold to fit into his jacket, he hands the sign to the 40+ year old fan who then starts screeching. Zayn just shrugs and makes his way to the stairs. He stops half way up and yells "SAMI ZAYN BAYBAY!" mocking Cole who now looks annoyed in the ring, Zayn steps through the ropes and stretches.

Zayn is picking up Cole but as Cole gets to his feet he pushes Zayn back and hits him with a HUGE Superkick! A smirk crosses Coles face as Zayn is laid out. Cole instead of pinning Zayn, goes over to the corner and hops up on the second rope facing all the Zayniacs in the crowd he yells "LOOK AT YOUR HERO NOW!"

[Michael Cole]
This is uncalled for...
[JBL]
No, This is called being inside your opponents head Maggle!

the fans start cheering loudly as Cole looks confused at their reaction. He steps down and turns around to see a boot coming right for his face!


[Michael Cole]
OH MY GOD HELLUVA KICK!

Zayn with no energy left just falls over Adam Cole , the ref slides into position...

This is a travesty!!!

Zayn slowly gets on one knee as the ref raises his hand


Zayn gets up and turns around as he sees Adam Cole run at him and try to get in a cheap shot, but Zayn rolls under the rope and celebrates his win as Cole sits in the ring and tears at his hair.



Zayn stares at Cole and smiles as he walks into the back

The lights dim with a strange sound toppling over the speakers. A profound violin strum plays softly and energetically all at once. A serrated green frequency bar goes along with this intro fluttering at every chance.



After the song builds, red dots flash long enough to distort your vision for a few seconds.









The dots fade away and only a couple letter’s are shown “S H I N” Everyone in attendance start a frenzy It continues. SUKE NAKAMURA in red bold letters. The minitron and arena lights illuminating the jacket of Nakamura as he walks casually onto the middle of the stage. “NAKAMURA” “NAKAMURA” the crowd bellows out whilst hovering over the barricade..  



Twisting his hands over one another, swaying around with his head tilting side to side. The slow motion sensor picking up his movements slightly. Touching his chest with the back of his palm, the other hand raised in the air swung to the sky. The sensor stops and the urge to shake himself around starts to take control. He’s got a pep in his step, whimsically down the ramp.




Striking a pose, a ninja pose! Flashing his mouthpiece smirking because he can. Shaking his hands to the beat, losing himself in the moment. Both hands over the top of one another, sending signals to every single person in the arena.





The curve in the theme allows him to almost have a seizure in his rock out moment. Clashing with dizziness, pulls himself together still acting wild. In a crazy fashion going up the apron and walking with swag along the outer skirts. Bouncing with his shoulders and his eyes widened. Under the 2nd rope he goes and greets the middle of the ring. Covering his mouth with his hand, The sound of the music suddenly meets a drop, along with Nakamura as he bursts to the side of the rope.



Holding onto it with the mightiest grip of all time. Throwing his right arm carelessly into the wind. Stretching backwards to meet his head to the 2nd rope. Launching his right arm down to the mat as he bends his knees completely until he’s touching the mat. The pose causes hundreds of cameras to flash and leaves tingling sensations through everyone’s heart.


Spinning in a 360, moving his fingers as if he’s grabbing onto someone or something.. He hears the crowd on each side of him and stands front and center. Closing his eyes he bobs his head to the rhythm and his legs and arms rattle along with his face. Sending a YEAHOH! bolt to the mat Shinsuke blows this entrance off it’s heels. The fans hum the sound of his theme music. “OOOH OHH OHH OHHH, UHHH DA DA DA DA DUH WOOH OHH OHH” and he sticks his tongue out playing along.




Feeling the energy pulse through him, Nakamura rises up from his glorious position and to the turnbuckle. Having some pre-match stretches with his legs perched high up on the 3rd turnbuckle.




But the singing audience soon abruptly stops as the sound of another man's music fills the arena. Instantly, boos, on all sides, from man, woman, and child in reaction to the start of Matt Sydal's theme.







With boos nearly drowning out his music, Matt Sydal walks out onto the stage, with Renee Young on his arm, flashing his always present smirk completely in his own world, oblivious to the boos.


[Michael Cole]
Here comes the man scheduled to compete not once, but twice this evening, accompanied by the woman that's been bombard with hate for breaking the heart of Eric Young.


[JBL]
Hate for following her heart?


[Michael Cole]
If she is indeed "following her heart" maybe she shouldn't have agreed to have dinner with Eric literally an hour before she was found making out with that man.



[JBL]

Matt extends his arms out, Renee releases her grip of his arm then he rotates in a circle, showing off shouting "I'm so good they had to book me twice!" He then reaches in the pocket of his bomber esque jacket, pulling out a mic, to which presents it to Renee who grabs it before clearing her throat. Matt holds his hand up, signaling for the crew in the back to cut his theme, to which a few seconds later, they do.

The second she utters a sound, the boos get louder, causing Renee who is by no means as use to the boos as her man, to stop. He mouths for her to go on, placing his hand on her back for support.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my pleasure to bring to you this exclusive interview with the man that needs no introduction, but he DAMN sure deserves one. For he is the LONGEST reigning World Heavyweight Champion this company has ever seen, he is the YOUNGEST Grand Slam Champion in XWL history, and he...is so good, that they had no choice but to book him twice tonight in order to save this otherwise a sure to be failure of an event. Rise up off your...


She looks at Matt, stopping, as the camera zooms out, we see she was reading this all off a note in her other hand, to which it seems the next part might not be something she wants to say....but he gives her a nod, and regretfully...she continues.

Rise up off of your....fat asses, drop the overpriced hot dogs that you've had a dozen of already, gulp that last bit of your fifth refill of soda, and clap your hands...for the man you ALL wish you could be, but never could...be...Matt....SY....DAL!




Well it's obvious she didn't want to repeat what he apparently wrote for her, because the boos somehow get louder, all...while he simply smiles.

Matt, thank you for allowing us your presence tonight, how are you doing this evening?


[Matt Sydal]
I'm fantastic, as always....and ready to whip Mr. NakanobodiesgoingtorememberyourstupidnamewhenI'mdonewithyou's...ass.



[Renee Young]
Many of your critics, would say that tonight you're getting your "just deserts." Do you feel as if that's true?



[Matt Sydal]
Of course, I DESERVE...to be the STAR of this show, and every....single....other. Competing not once, but twice...showcases that I'm a true asset to this company, that they NEED me to appear more than once, to draw interest, to keep the fans tuned in, to give them....what they want, which is me, every single second...but we have to be fair, we have to allow the lesser characters their moment to feel as if they're important too...even though they're not, but we can't exactly tell them that now can we? As the greatest man to step foot in this company, or any other for that matter, we need the Sami Zayns, The Adam Coles, The AJ Styles, The Brock Lesnars to serve as appetizers for the main course, me.




[Renee Young]
As the main attraction, do you feel as if your victories tonight should grant you a World Heavyweight Championship match?




[Matt Sydal]
Absolutely, when I defeat what's his face down there in the ring stretching as if he's actually got a chance at competing against a man of my caliber...and then I defeat everyone's favorite lovable loser Eric Young, I'll be marching straight into Stephanie's office and demanding what I...and only I, deserve. For I am the golden goose of this company, so ditch the lunatic, leave the empire for Rome, and grab your golden ticket to ensuring this company's future!

Fittingly so, Matt shows off his new gold attire, no doubt planning his next step before he's even gotten past the challenges that await him tonight.


[Renee Young]
Well there you have it, spoken like a TRUE...winner. This has been Renee Young, and spoiler alert, Mr. I'm too good to be interviewed, yeah I see you standing down there with that smug look on your face...he's going to beat you, and make you regret passing up on that interview. Because when he's done with you? Nobody will give a damn about what you have to say. now go get him baby.


She leans in giving him a kiss for good luck on the lips, then heads to the back as Sydal rubbernecks and watches her leave. Once she's gone, he turns around with a grin on his face as if to say "that's mine." then rushes down the ramp, sliding into the ring with great speed, and backing into the opposite corner from Shinsuke Nakamura ready for the match to begin.









The referee calls for the bell, and this match is underway! Matt rubs his hands together, ready for a lock up, as Shinsuke parades around his side of the ring, with a grin on his face that almost doesn't take Matt seriously. Slowly they come closer and closer, until Suke being his swag self walks away from a now irate Sydal brushing back his hair giving the arrogant superstar a run for his money with a bit of arrogance of his own.

Swag? What are you twelve?



Matt looks out to the audience and yells "AND I'M THE ONE YOU BOO? WHAT ABOUT HIM?!" to which, they give a RESOUNDING cheer for, only further infuriating the now apparent "golden ticket." Sydal then rushes forward at Suke, tired of his games, only for The King of Strong Style to leap frog above him, evading him once more. Shinsuke again gloats about teaching Matt a lesson at his own game, then proceeds to do it one step further, by then suddenly dropping into his signature pose...Matt looks at the referee yells "IS HE FREAKING SERIOUS?!" "DO SOMETHING REF, I'M TRYING TO HAVE A MATCH, SCOLD HIM, NOW!" The referee throws his hands up, Shinsuke isn't breaking the rules, not even close....this riles Matt up EVEN MORE, more so that he lashes out, immediately slapping the official across the face and shouting "I SAID DO YOUR JOB!" to which....IMMEDIATELY the referee calls for the bell, disqualifying him without a second thought!



[Michael Cole]
DID THAT JUST HAPPEN?!



[JBL]
Clearly his hand slipped, Cole...



[Michael Cole]
Sure, slipped right across his face.





Matt seems upset, until all of a sudden a sly smile comes across his face, and he throws his hands up as if to say "oh well" shrugging the decision and simply saying "Whoops." Before any kind of reaction can come from Nakamura, Matt drops down, rolling out of the ring, accepting the fact that he's lost this match by disqualification, apparently on purpose based on the nonchalance of his behavior. As he starts walking up the ramp, suddenly...  









Without a second in between the start of her theme, and her arrival on the stage, Stephanie does NOT look happy at the fact that a highly promoted match for tonight's show was ended so quickly and in such a way.






[Stephanie McMahon]
You call yourself the golden ticket to ensuring this company's future, yet you go and get yourself disqualified within a minute of the match starting...if you're our future? We clearly are in more trouble than we even imagine. Because that right there, the stunt you just pulled by slapping an official to "get out" of competing twice, that does NOT come without some serious consequences. See, I promised you would get what you had coming to you tonight at Downpour, and now....now you've made that oh so much easier...


Matt looks at her confused mouthing "what the hell are you talking about" to which she happily explains.






[Stephanie McMahon]
You're still competing against Eric Young later tonight, so you know what I'm going to do? To teach you a lesson in YOU DONE WRONG, STYLE....I'm going to appoint a special referee for that match, to ensure that there isn't a count out, or a disqualification, an official that will call it, down the middle....someone that, was promised an appearance tonight, and you've now hindered that.





[Stephanie McMahon]
That someone, is The KING....of STRONG....STYLE....SHINSUKE NAKAMURA!


The audience is elated, cheering very loudly, as a slight grin despite being robbed of a match happening, appears on the face of the newly appointed special referee to the match between Matt Sydal and Eric Young. While Matt, well...as to be expected, he's throwing a fit, but we don't really need to o explain that, it's quite obvious.



[Stephanie McMahon]
Looks like the "golden ticket" just won himself the right to face the man whose girlfriend you stole, in a match where essentially, the guy you just disqualified yourself against, makes the rules. So good luck with that one, and next time...if you pull that stunt again? The only "gold" thing in your future will be that eyesore of an attire you're wearing right now.






[JBL]
Oh come on, how is this fair? Matt now has to deal with essentially a handicap match because of a crooked referee?




[Michael Cole]
He only has himself to blame, John. The Authority doesn't like not getting their way, Stephanie put Matt in two matches tonight, and she expected him to compete in those two matches, not disqualify himself.


[JBL]
How can anyone be expected to compete twice?!



[Michael Cole]
Nonetheless, we've just had a bombshell announced, Matt Sydal and Eric Young will now be competing in a match that will be special refereed by Shinsuke Nakamura! You don't wanna miss this.

[LILIAN GARCIA]
The following contest is an Extreme Rules Match, set for one fall! And now, by order of Stephanie McMahon...if Paige loses this match, she will be SUSPENDED until Final Stand 9! Introducing first...from Norwich, England! Paige!

[MICHAEL COLE]
Wait, WHAT!? Are you kidding me!? This is a ridiculous abuse of power by Stephanie!

[JBL]
Oh please, Michael! Paige defied Stephanie's orders and that girl from the Performance Center Paige faced two weeks ago is still in the hospital! And it's all because of that damn British banshee making her way out here right now!

Paige makes her way onto the stage, a shirt covering her torso to a full on explosion of cheers from the crowd, the self-proclaimed "Barbie Breaker" dragging a trashcan full of weapons behind her much like she did for her scheduled match against a member of The Pack before Stephanie put a stop to it. Paige walks down the ramp with a walk of purpose, a fiery look in her eyes as she marches towards the ring, tossing the trashcan inside before doing her signature scream on the apron, removing her shirt and making her own way inside.

[LILIAN GARCIA]
And...her opponent...

































[MICHAEL COLE]
What, so is AJ Lee going to be Stephanie's handpicked opponent for her tonight?

[LILIAN GARCIA]
Her opponent! From Union City, New Jersey! AJ Lee!





AJ skips her way down the ramp to somewhat of a mixed reaction. On one hand, she's definitively a crowd favorite with the XWL Universe. But on the other, she's Stephanie McMahon's handpicked challenger for a match that may ruin Paige's young wrestling career. She seems to pay no mind to this though, in her own little world as she slides in the ring, skipping around Paige in a circle before Paige finally has enough, dropping AJ with a Superkick to the ribs!

XWL referee John Cone signals for the match-up to begin as Paige stands over AJ with a very angry look in her eyes, taking her aggressions out on AJ Lee with multiple stomps to the ribs with her Doc Marten boots, repeatedly stomping a mudhole into her challenger before stepping away and letting out a loud scream to the fans' delight. Paige reaches into the trashcan, pulling out a pair of kendo sticks from inside. However, AJ kicks Paige in the knees, dropping Paige down and forcing one of the kendo sticks out of her hands.

Taking a hold of the hard bamboo sword, AJ goes to whack Paige across the back but Paige rolls out of the way. The pair then duel with the chairs like Obi Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader in Episode IV: A New Hope, the sounds of the kendo sticks cracking together echoing through the American Airlines Arena in Miami. Finally Paige ducks a shot intended for her head, striking AJ hard across the ribs with her kendo stick, followed by a shot across the back of the head with a shot hard enough to break the kendo stick in half and knock AJ out for the time being.

Paige showed an emotion other than pure anger for the first time at the sight of AJ down on her stomach and clutching the back of her head, a small little smirk crossing her lips as she stomped AJ's back one more time before tossing the destroyed kendo stick in the direction of the commentary table. Paige went back to the trash can, placing it in the corner of the ring before pulling out a crutch. AJ turned onto her back just in time for Paige to press the shoulder support into AJ's throat, trying to choke AJ into submission. AJ however had enough life in her to kick Paige's left knee out from under her, causing Paige to go down in a bit more pain than expected, the "Barbie Breaker" crying out slightly. AJ quickly scrambled to her feet and dumped the contents of the trashcan out onto the mat. However, she dropped the trashcan suddenly, a look of shock on her face when a bottle of lighter fluid and matches bounced onto the mat! The crowd erupts in "HOLY SHIT!" chants just at the sight alone of what has fallen inside the ring as the commentators react with equal surprise.


[MICHAEL COLE]
Oh...oh my god...is that?

[JBL]
Lighter fluid...matches.

[MICHAEL COLE]
Is that the limits Paige would be willing to go to to win this match tonight?

[JBL]
I damn sure don't want to find out, Michael...

AJ quietly kicks both the lighter fluid and the matches out of the ring. However, her shock and reaction has given Paige time to recover. Doubling AJ over with a gut kick, she positions her opponent for a scoop slam, but tosses her right into the ropes, nearly causing AJ Lee to land on the back of her head! AJ clutches her neck as Paige ensnares AJ's right leg between the middle and bottom ropes. Paige smirks and slides under the ring as AJ tries to free herself, only for Paige to pull a chair out and send it right into AJ Lee's kneecap, causing AJ to scream in pain! Paige repeats this a few more times before driving the top of the chair into AJ's right knee. Paige looked down at AJ as she cried out in pain, squatting down to get in AJ's face.

"IS THIS ALL YOU GOT, AJ!?" Paige would shout in her opponent's face, slapping AJ multiple times, paintbrushing her face. Paige would then stand back upright, looking at AJ, then outside the ring...then AJ...then outside the ring. A wild look in her eyes, Paige rolled out onto the floor, looking at the announce table before digging back under the ring again, and this time pulling out a small black sack from underneath the ring to the crowd's cheers at the ideas of what cruel fate would await either of the women that was enclosed in said bag. Paige climbed back in the ring and walked across it towards the top left corner. Untying the bag, Paige held it up high before emptying its contents...

[MICHAEL COLE]
IT'S THUMBTACKS! OH MY GOD, IT'S THUMBTACKS!

[JBL]
Dear God in Heaven...

Before Paige could bask in the idea of slamming AJ into the tacks, however, she was cracked in the back by a chair shot from a now-hobbling AJ Lee! Paige leaned into the corner clutching her back as AJ rammed the chair into it once more, causing Paige to grit her teeth and wince in pain. "THANK YOU MA'AM, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER!?" Paige screamed to the crowd's delight, in reference to the now infamous Singapore Cane Match from over twenty years ago. However, instead of a shot to the back, AJ instead walked back and threw the chair at Paige's head, causing it to wrap around Paige's skull in a sickening fashion and send Paige crumpling to the mat.

[JBL]
For the love of God, Michael!

The crowd began to chant "WOMEN'S WRESTLING!" in response as AJ lapped it up, raising her arms high in the air and skipping around the ring as Paige struggled to remove the chair wrapped around her skull. However, it wasn't without sacrifice as a small cut was opened up on Paige's head, blood trickling down her nose. Tasting her own blood, Paige immediately stood to her feet with a scream of bloody murder, bloody murder exactly what was on Paige's mind as she picked up some of the thumbtacks. AJ turned around only to find Paige tossing the tacks at her, causing AJ to have to cover up only to get lifted up and practically speared into the opposite turnbuckles!

Paige lifts her arms up to her chest, fists forming before quickly turning to face away from AJ, violently driving her elbows backwards into the sides of AJ's head until she felt AJ slump behind her. Turning once more, Paige gripped the top rope and began to stomp a mudhole into her opponent in the corner. Once done, she bent over, giving the other woman a pair of double birds and shouting "OH, HELL YEAH!" Paige smirked as she backed up, making sure everything was just so before charging in, driving her knee right into the side of AJ's head, sending her slumping in the corner below her. Paige then tugged AJ by the hair across the ring towards the tacks. Paige looked behind her and lifted AJ up, only for AJ to counter and lock Paige into the Black Widow!

AJ screamed as she wrenched back on Paige's arm, screaming "TAP, YOU LITTLE BITCH! TAAAAAP!" as Paige tried to find a way out! With a little more squirming, Paige finds a way out and positions AJ on the top rope, trying to throw her off! However AJ positions her instead for a Tornado DDT, but as she jumps off, Paige stops AJ's momentum and turns around, dropping her with a Paige Turner, sending both of them back first into the thumbtacks!

[MICHAEL COLE]
NO! NO! SOMEONE STOP THIS! OH MY GOD SOMEBODY STOP THIS MATCH!

Both women sit up almost immediately, the cameras cutting to the tacks sticking in each woman's backs and arms as they scream out from the pain, a massive "HOLY SHIT!" chant filling the arena as the crowd is absolutely on fire, the entire American Airlines Arena on their feet for this nearly ultraviolent match!

[JBL]
Dear God! Listen to this place! These goddamn bloodthirsty animals in here!

Paige gets to her feet first, blood trickling down her back and arms as she rips some of the tacks out of her arms, wincing with each one she removed! The Barbie Breaker makes her way back towards AJ and pulls her out of the tacks before lifting her in a Fall Away Slam position, tossing AJ over her head and onto her back again, driving the tacks that much further into AJ's back and sending her halfway across the ring! Paige rolls back out and lifts up the ring skirt before pulling out her barbed wire bat!

[JBL]
NO! NO! Put that back, Paige! You don't need this!

Paige finds the lighter fluid and matches that AJ had kicked aside earlier, as well as her own shirt that she had discarded during her entrance. Paige has a wicked smirk in her eyes as she wraps the shirt around the barbed wire-wrapped black baseball bat before pouring the lighter fluid onto it. Paige then holds the matchbook high with one hand, the barbed wire bat high with the other before lighting the match, setting the barbed wire bat ablaze!

[MICHAEL COLE]
OH MY GOD NO!

Paige holds the fiery weapon of destruction high and screams out "THIS IS MY HOUSE!" as the crowd screams "HOLY SHIT!" for the third time in this match, Paige looking up at her instrument of torture with a wicked smile before she's caught off guard by AJ Lee diving out through the ropes, taking her down with a suicide dive and sending the bat rolling away. Unfortunately for the crowd and fortunately for Paige and AJ, Stephanie McMahon makes her way down to ringside flanked by security and event staff. They make their way to the massacre currently occurring in the ring, where security uses a fire extinguisher to put out the fire, causing the crowd to boo loudly.

Paige and AJ get up before entangling themselves together, both punching each other in the face repeatedly as they scramble around ringside, eventually winding up back in the ring, a load of hair pulling and punches being given out by both combatants. Seeing the lengths Paige would go to, Stephanie looks on in horror as this match keeps going. Paige gets the better of the scuffle with AJ, headbutting AJ before tossing her aside once more. AJ rolls out of the ring where the security attempts to put a stop to the match, lifting AJ up as Stephanie comes to check on her, asking if she wants to continue. However, Stephanie quickly has to run for higher ground as Paige ascends the turnbuckles, wiping out AJ Lee, Stephanie's security team as well as herself with a Somersault Senton from the top!

Taking a few moments to recover, Paige pulls out a table from under the ring, setting it up and then scooping up the remaining tacks in the ring, scattering them all across the table! A wicked smirk appears as she pulls AJ out of the wiped out security team wreckage and positions her on the top rope! Climbing up herself, Paige puts AJ in position for a RamPaige off the top and jumps off, putting both women through the thumbtack-covered table, both womens' heads cracking off the table as they went through it and knocking them out cold!

Referee John Cone checks on both women as they lay motionless in the remains of the table, blood and tacks all over their bodies as AJ's blood begins to pour out from her forehead, a small gash over her right eye from a tack that nearly punctured her eye itself. Seeing this, Stephanie immediately climbs on the apron, yelling at Cone to call the match off. The crowd boos heavily as Cone does as his boss tells him.

[LILIAN GARCIA]
Ladies and gentlemen, by order of Stephanie McMahon...this match has been ruled a no contest.

[MICHAEL COLE]
Thank god...

[JBL]
It may not be the popular decision, but it's the right one...

AJ and Paige wither on the mat as the tacks stick and fall off their bodies, they both lay there motionless. The lights go out all of a sudden.





[JBL]
What the hell!?

Wyatt and Raven make their way down, with Raven carrying Wyatt's I.C title for him over his shoulder. They slowly circle the ring as the lights finally come back on. The Ref looks on and yells for them to stay out. Wyatt singles to Raven, and Raven grabs him a mic.



[BRAY WYATT]
Years I've been searching. Searching for someone to fill the void you left upon me. Fill the emptiness that was created when you transcended from this hollow world. Someone who could finally lead when you couldn't, someone to carry on your legacy and mission. Tonight i have found that someone, tonight, we welcome a new Sister to the Darkness.

Wyatt drops the mic as he and Raven head into the ring. The Ref gets in Wyatt's way trying to stop him. Wyatt just laughs as Raven charges from the side, cracking the I.C title over the Refs head. The Ref falls, hard to the mat. Wyatt brings his gaze to the two women, bloodied and tired on the mat. Paige tries to scramble back to get away from them, but Wyatt kneels next to her and in a soothing voice...

[BRAY WYATT]
The Darkness is not here for you child. Not yet. Now...RUN!



Paige moves to the corner as Wyatt slowly, seductively, crawls like a demonic spider to AJ. Too battered to really struggle, Wyatt cradles her head in his lap, running his hand through her hair, soothing her in his own twisted way. He kisses her on the forehead as a single tear runs down her cheek, before she finally succumbs to the brutality and pain of her match and passes out in his arms.

[BRAY WYATT]
I finally found you, I finally found you. (rocking her in his arms)Welcome home my sister. Welcome home Sister April

[MICHAEL COLE]
Oh my god...



Wyatt gets up and slide out of the ring, he grabs her arm and pulls her out on his shoulder. He singles to Raven who was busy stomping the Ref. He grabs the title and rolls out of the ring. The lights go back out as they make their way up he ramp. Make their leave with their new sister.



Paige's left arm is hung limp from her body from the pain and the thumbtacks and blood loss caused by the tacks. Using her right hand to hold her arm, she uses her teeth and bites on the ropes while using her legs to bring herself back up to her feet, looking at the ramp confused as Wyatt and Raven carry AJ Lee out of the American Airlines Arena. However, suddenly, a figure in a black hoodie and jeans comes from behind, turning Paige around and laying her out with a Belly To Belly! The hood flies off as Paige is driven into the canvas to reveal...

[MICHAEL COLE]
Oh my god, it's Bayley! Bayley is back and she just planted Paige with the Bayley-To-Belly!

[JBL]
We haven't seen Bayley in months!

Bayley stands over the fallen Paige, readjusting her ponytail before looking over to the thumbtacks. Tugging Paige's lifeless body back up, she puts Paige in position and drives her into the canvas with a second Bayley-To-Belly, planting Paige in the center of the ring! Bayley stands tall over Paige as we cut to an advertisement for the upcoming XWL 2K17 video game with Dean Ambrose and Layla on the cover, left with far more questions than answers about what has just occurred.

AND THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH, MICKIE JAMES!

Mickie James goes to the corner, and gets on to the second turnbuckle to celebrate her big win over Madison Rayne.



Mickie jumps off, and does a 180. She lands right next to the ref, and he grabs her arm then raises it high into the air declaring her as the victor. Mickie motions over for a mic. The ringside announcer rushes over, and hands Mickie a microphone.

.:Mickie James:.
I am not the same Mickie that was here once before... As you can tell I beat Madison Rayne a former top contender to the women's championship.

The fans cheer

I am here to make my mark in XWL. I am going to make my climb from bottom to the top. It will be a cramazing ride!

Mickie laughs to herself

You see what I did there? I mixed crazy and amazing into one word.

Mickie pauses for a moment as she begins to walk

.:Mickie James:.
Now I know this will not be easy, but let me assure you this country girl is going to do whatever it takes to become women's champion. Let this victory be a message to everyone in the back that Mickie James is here, and means business!

Mickie drops the mic as her music begins to play once again. She celebrates as the camera fades to black for a commercial break.

AJ Styles has the Calf Killer locked in at the center of the ring! He somehow managed to roll The Beast into the move and he has it locked in and he shows no signs of letting it go. After targeting the calf of The Beast the entire time, it has to be weak and ready for the picking. The crowd was starting to pick up and cheer for The Phenomenal AJ Styles as he was inches away from picking up a big win in this submission match.

[MICHAEL COLE]
He's got it locked in! Brock Lesnar might be about to tap!

And the camera proved that as Brock Lesnar had a hand raised. You weren't too sure if he was trying to reach for the ropes or was he readying himself to tap out, or maybe it was a little bit of both. And then Brock's hand began to raise a little bit higher... And then the bell rang. Brock Lesnar never tapped out, and the referee never called for the bell. AJ Styles didn't realize this though. He thought that he made Brock Lesnar tap out and he won the match. Just like any normal wrestler, that caused him to break the hold and rise to his feet with his hands held high, thinking that he was the winner of this match. The referee of the match says otherwise though as he approaches The Phenomenal One and informs him that Brock Lesnar never tapped out and that it wasn't him that made the call. Who was it that rang the bell then? Why, it was none other than Brock Lesnar's manager, Paul Heyman who was shown standing back in the time keeper's area with a sinister smirk spread across his entire face.

[THE KING]
Paul Heyman! What's he doing back there?

[JBL]
I'll tell you what he's doing, he's being Paul Heyman!

And once AJ Styles noticed it himself, the face that once wore such a positive expression turned sour at the sight of Heyman. What Paul said the other day during their interview still raced through the head of The Phenomenal One and that in itself made him make the biggest mistake that a man could possibly make: He turned his back on Brock Lesnar. Styles and Heyman got into a little bit of a shouting match, AJ wanting to know 'what the hell was he doing' while Heyman, trying to play it off, was simply saying that 'his hand slipped' and that it was an accident. This distraction by Paul Heyman lasted long enough for the tides of the match to turn as two hands suddenly wrapped around Styles waist and he was tossed back, landing right on his neck with a german suplex  The fans erupted into boos as Brock began to stalk his prey but he did hold just a little bit of a limp in his step because of how long he was locked in the calf crusher. He may have labeled himself as a Beast, but this individual was still human.

[JBL]
This doesn't look good for AJ. Not anymore at least.

And it's all that man's fault! It's all Heyman's fault!

And Brock decided it was time for himself to return the favor of targeting the leg. The Beast Incarnate took a hold of the Phenomenal One's leg and brought it up and around his neck, locking him in an old maneuver of his that held the same effect as the Calf Killer in a way. It was the Brock Lock and AJ Styles was in no position to grab the ropes, or drag himself to them. The fans chanted for Styles, wanting him to somehow break free of the hold and go on to defeat the Beast Incarnate. But eventually the pain became a little too much and the Phenomenal One had to accept defeat. His blue glove tapped against Brock's leg, signaling that he couldn't take no more and was accepting defeat.

Late into the match . . . Nakamura is seen checking his nails while the two are fighting, taking the attention off of them and onto him. Coming eye to eye with the camera he acts shocked and then the fight resumes. Within mere seconds you can see Sydal running his hands through his hair covered in product. Not seeing a lot of fight left in E.Y. he takes his guard down. E.Y. swoops up Sydal before he can even react and powers him over his shoulder.. AND TO THE MAT THEY GO. Sydal landing in an awkward position after attempting to tuck in his head. E.Y. has hit the E.Y. Driver! Nakamura is signaled over to hit the 3 count and the fans count along with him. Nakamura stands still and shrugs nodding his head ignoring the pin altogether. The fan’s are at a 5 count and Nakamura is shown diving for the pin at full speed. ONLY HE’S NOT GOING FOR THE PIN.. He plummets his left knee into the temple of Sydal who still has his head arched up. In the crossfire was E.Y. who is now seeing stars laid out like one. Nakamura with the Kinshasha absolutely decimates the two. Shinsuke realizing what he’s done puts his hands on both hips and tells Eric to get up and finish the job. Stepping over them both, he grabs onto the arm of Sydal and inches him closer to Young looking down. He grabs onto the arm of Young and pulls him next to Sydal and hovers his arm. He drops it.. Down on the mat and uses his boot to nudge Sydal on top of Young with both shoulders stuck to the canvas. Shinsuke drops down to the pin and slaps his hand down fast.

The audience is stunned, the commentators are stunned, but Shinsuke simply struts away, leaving Sydal to celebrate his unexpected victory.
