XWL Anarchy: 11/23/15 - 11/30/15

After many months of anticipation for the return of XWL, and it's brand new show titled, Anarchy...the moment has finally arrived. Television sets are tuned to the right channel, snacks have been gathered, and all eyes are resisting the urge to blink for fear of missing a single second. Sure it's 2015, and most everyone has the capability of pausing live television, but then they wouldn't be able to tweet along with the world as XWL makes it's way back into our homes, and towns. This is the moment we've been waiting for, and at long last, a commercial concludes, and we're taken to a cold opening of Anarchy. Inside the office of Stephanie McMahon, she sits at the head of the table, ready to welcome us back, and introduce us to the new era of XWL.




[Stephanie McMahon]
Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my honor to welcome you to XWL, Anarchy!

The daughter of Vince McMahon pauses for a moment, but then continues.



[Stephanie McMahon]
When my father Vince McMahon shocked the world just a few years ago by revealing himself as the new owner of XWL, the world was a buzz. Promises were made, new ideas were immediately in the works for transforming this place into something even more amazing than it already was. However, when you run a successful company, sometimes that message can get lost in all the chaos. We're not above owning up to our mistakes, there are things we could have done better, but as the saying goes, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger!




[Stephanie McMahon]
On the sixth anniversary of Final Stand, the biggest spectacle of the year in all of wrestling, we decided that something needed to change. Issues weren't being addressed because in all honesty, it's hard to truly see what's wrong, when you try so hard to focus on what's right, or at least what you think is right. We needed to address the issues, and unfortunately, that meant closing shop and really unearthing just what was truly wrong. We had to fine tune every little malfunction of the machine that is XWL. So with great sadness, we announced that XWL would be going on a hiatus, and return in the fall.





[Stephanie McMahon]
Everyone was upset, from fans, to talent, hell even my father and myself were both distraught over having to do such a thing. Wrestling is a year round thing, you don't get down time, but we needed it, we needed to come back bigger, and better than ever. We needed to go back to the drawing board and see what would make the most entertaining shows for you the dedicated fans that always sold out arenas, and always made the show what it was.  







[Stephanie McMahon]
After seven long months, the wait my friends, is OVER! We've listened to your suggestions, we've scoured the globe for the best talent in the world, and we've reached out to some familiar faces you might remember...






[Stephanie McMahon]
Tonight the whole wrestling world is turned on it's head! Tonight, a new era in wrestling begins, an era that will be filled with unpredictability, an era that will push the boundaries like never before, an era...that is complete and utter, ANARCHY!






With a promise of a new era, Stephanie fades out, and our next sight is inside the sold-out Toyota Arena, live in Houston Texas! An extravagant display of pyrotechnics blast at the top of the stage, and the crowd roars with screams of excitement.




Every single member in attendance is on their feet, fans on all sides are holding up various creative signs, and emerald green lights flicker around the ringside area. The fans are ready, everyone at home is ready, and no doubt all of the talent in the back is ready, it's time...Anarchy is afoot, and there's no telling what tonight has in store for us. Cameras cut away from their shot of the audience, and we then see our first look at XWL's ringside broadcast team. Jerry "The King" Lawler, Michael Cole...and a new face has joined them, former XWL competitor, and General Manager, JBL!  


[Michael Cole]
Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to XWL Anarchy!

[King]
With a name like that you can't help but get excited!



[Michael Cole]
You got that right, King! I'm Michael Cole, and as you'll notice to my right is the newest member of the XWL broadcast team, John Bradshaw Layfield. Welcome aboard, John!


[JBL]
It is great to be here, Michael! I don't know about you, but I've been counting down the days till this night was finally here! With the best athletes in the world, coupled with unbeatable management like The McMahons, we're in for a real treat and you can count on that!

[King]
They say everything's always bigger in Texas, and it doesn't get any bigger than what's about to go down tonight!


[Michael Cole]
I honestly cannot remember a more stacked line-up than what's on the docket this evening. There's too many exciting match-ups to talk about, historical rematches, clashes between past stars and the stars that hope to be the future.


[JBL]
All it takes is one good night to separate the big fish from the little ones, and it's all about standing out from the pack, and making your name be the one that's trending all the way into the weeks to come.

[King]
You know guys, there's been a pretty big rumor making it's way through the locker room today, and if it's true...oh boy Anarchy is going to live up to it's name!


[Michael Cole]
They do say there's always a little bit of truth to rumors, but what was it, King?


[JBL]
Come on boys, we're not here to gossip at the watercooler, we're here to call the action!



[King]
Well, word is that...






D'OH! So close, but it looks like gossip hour is over as the arena erupts in glee over the tune of The Divas Champion, Bayley! It's almost hard to believe that the first person to kickoff Anarchy, is a woman that's as sweet and innocent as Bayley! But to say anyone is disappointed would be a bold faced lie, every butt is out of their seat, and all heads turn to the stage in anticipation of the woman that's stolen the hearts of fans all over the world.






Bayley's looking to turn it up as she bursts through the curtain almost as if she's been waiting to do that every day for the last seven months. There isn't an individual male or female that's fueled by the support of the XWL fans than Bayley, and that's always so evident by the glow on her face, and the glee she expresses every time she gets to do this. She bops to the beat of her tune, eventually walking back to top of the ramp and smiles from ear to ear.  






You wouldn't think the reception could get any louder than it is, but the second she spreads her arms out, the wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men come out to play the room damn near comes off the building!  She playfully reaches out to them trying to hug them, oh Bayley with an adorable display like that it's so easy to forget that you survived such a grueling match as The Elimination Chamber to attain that coveted prize in your hand.


[JBL]
Look at this, I've never seen anything like it!

[King]
I love those things!

[Michael Cole]
Aren't they just so fun? They really lighten up the atmosphere here. For those you that are just tuning in for the first time, this young woman might look sweet and oh so innocent, but she's proven she's one tough cookie when she needs to be.

[JBL]
It's so genius, make everyone think you're harmless, and then destroy them!

[Michael Cole]
I wouldn't say it's anything like that all, John. Bayley is the least manipulative person you'll ever meet.


[King]
A real inspiration for the fans to look up to, she's a fan herself, and every day she gets to come out here, is the best day of her life.


Fans out stretch from the railings on all sides of the ramp, and Bayley being the fan friendly person that she is, refuses to miss meeting every person she can. She runs along the right side, high fiving hand after hand, then points to the left with a smile, and runs back up the ramp catching all their hands as well. She snaps off a band that was on her wrist, and as a mother holds their son's arm out for her, she places the cuff on their wrist to their delight. But she's not done being the best person ever, she removes an extra headband she had on her head, and notices a little girl walking right over to her and making her night by placing it on the child's head. Is it even a question as to why everyone loves Bayley? With no more prizes to give out, she beelines for the ring, turning the corner and making sure she high fives that group of fans as well. Once she's done there, Bayley jumps up onto the apron, and makes her way into the ring.





She gets in tune with the beat of her entrance music then as it's about to ramp up in beat, she spins around and does her signature high-ten with not a single person leaving her hanging!  




[Michael Cole]
It's always so incredible to see such heavy fan interaction.

[JBL]
I can honestly say I've never seen an audience do that in all my years of wrestling.


[King]
Well you aren't exactly fan friendly, JBL.


[JBL]
As long as they kept their hands off my limousine I was very fan friendly, King!

[Michael Cole]
I don't think you know what fan friendly means, John.

[King]
Yeah, when he looks fan up in the dictionary all he finds is himself.

[JBL]
There's nothing wrong with that, King! You should always be your own biggest fan!


Overjoyed to be back, she could do this for hours, but it's obvious she came out here to do more than soak in all the love. The Divas Champion kicking off Anarchy means she has a purpose, that she wants to pick back up where she left off, and not wait a single second longer. So while she'd love nothing more than to continue and maybe even jump into the crowd to high-five, or ten every single person in this sold out arena...she keeps her focus on what she came out here to do, and that's why she leans through the ropes and retrieves a microphone from Lillian Garcia. The lights return to normal, and her theme begins to slowly die out as she looks out into the sea of lifetime members of the hug life.




But while her music may have fizzled out, the electricity in the building has not. An uproaring "Bayley!" chant makes this young lady feel even more beloved than she already did. It takes a lot to not just stand there in joy, however she mustn't. The Divas Champ at last raises her mic up, and being the respectful bunch they are, the fans quieten down so their hero may speak.




[Bayley]
Wow, this is just...wow! I can't even put into words just how good this feels! To be back, to be out here, to...to hold this!

The fans can't help but startup another loud chant, this one however is even more heartfelt than the last, as they chant "You deserve it!" Once again Bayley can't contain her jubilance, this is all too amazing. To finally be out here again, and to still feel so much love, it's everything to her.




[Bayley]
No, no no...YOU deserve this! Each and every single one of you, you made this possible. With...without you, there'd be no this. So, so I...I know I've said this a lot, but I really do mean it you guys, thank you! Thank....thank you for making this little girl's dream come true!



Bayley begins to raise her arm up to share her title with the fans, but before it can fully extend up, she stops as Layla's theme starts to play.





The audience and Bayley are sent into mass confusion, just what is Layla coming out here for?



[Michael Cole]
Here comes the self titled, Lay-gislator of the Divas Division.

[JBL]
I know all about this woman, she has made quite the name for herself in XWL.

[King]
But now her name is on a plaque in her office.

[Michael Cole]
An interesting fact guys, when the diva's division was brought back to XWL back in March this year, these two women had an exchange we didn't expect to go so well. Perhaps Layla is merely out here to talk with Bayley about the return.


[JBL]
Of course that's what she's out here to do, she's the boss, she just wants to speak with one of her employees, why is this crowd getting so up in arms over her coming out here?


Absence has not made the heart grow fonder when it comes to the fan's feelings toward Layla. She, unlike Bayley is unwelcomed by boos and upset faces. But as she steps out onto the stage you wouldn't know she was on the receiving end of such a negative reaction, because she's smiling. Why is Layla smiling? Happy to be back? Is she just out here to share in Bayley's special moment? Maybe so, but the fans, and Bayley herself are of course skeptical given the fact that we've seen Layla's character over the years, and it's not always been one you wanna have to deal with. The British Beauty makes her way down the ramp, stopping at the little girl that was given Bayley's headband then points and lets out an "aww, isn't she precious" before continuing down to the ring.



We cut to a shot of Bayley, still trying to figure out what Laya's intentions are for coming out here. Maybe if she waited a few minutes to let Bayley say what she wanted to say the reaction would be a little different. However, she didn't, and so whether her intent is good or not, this 100% pro Bayley crowd is having none of what she's out here for. Layla grabs a microphone off the steel steps, conveniently placed of course, and then steps into the ring, waving at her champion, and then soon basking her with applause. A moment passes, her theme ceases, and her mic rises up to it's one true home, her mouth.


[Layla]
Let's hear it for The Divas Champion!

Genuine or not, Layla's tone always sound so, what's the word....bitchy? But some fans let out cheers, mostly for Bayley not at all for Layla. She points at the champ, somewhat easing Bayley's mind. This is all too familiar, Layla did show she wasn't so bad after all before, so perhaps this is just a boss wanting to talk to her employee?  

[Layla]
Bayley, I'm terribly sorry for intruding like this, I know you've been dying to come out here for so long, and you've got so much you'd like to say...but, I also have something that needs to be said. So if I may, could I please have the floor? You can take as much time as you want afterwards, but I do have something important to say, and it really...really can't wait.


Bayley looks to her left, then her right, almost looking for guidance from the fans. But eventually goes with her own gut on this situation and replies. 

[Bayley]
Um...uh, sure Layla go ahead.


She lowers her mic to her side, then takes a step backwards and she just like the audience prepare to hear what Layla needs to say. 



[Layla]
You're so sweet, thank you.


The apparent "Lay-gislator of The Divas Division places her index finger on her chin, tapping it as if she were pondering something. She nods to herself, then dramatically clears her throat.  


[Layla]
Around Eight months ago, when XWL brought back the Divas Division under my authority, I was all so new to the position. I've always felt like I was the one running things, but I found myself actually running things, and it's not an easy transition. To go from trailblazer to the woman in a blazer...I didn't know what was right or what was wrong. I thought I was doing the right thing, really I did...but, and this is painful to admit...I screwed everything up!


Screwed what up? A question pretty much everyone asks themselves, this is a different side of Layla though, she never admits to a mistake, but what was it?   

[Layla]
It was a conflict of interest, I should have known better, but I wanted so badly to make things right. Have you ever tried so hard to do the right thing, only to realize you made such a horrible mistake? This isn't an easy job, but it's one I really want to excel at, this division is my livelihood, this division was forged through my blood, sweat, and tears. Years of trying to make women's wrestling matter! Years of putting my body through matches that clearly have brought my career as an in ring competitor to an end. When I came out here on that night, I was still heartbroken over the news that I'd never wrestle again...Which is why, I tried to live vicariously....through you Bayley.



Talk about an unexpected turn of events...when Layla compared their careers on the night in question, she really was serious....she was treating her career, as if it were her own... 


[Layla]
As we all know, I was the very first XWL Womens Champion, it's accomplishment that still to this day is so hard to believe, you know? That I, a diva search winner, could make history in such a...such an incredible way. However, much like you, when the division came to an end a short month later...I was crushed. That's why when history repeated itself, when it happened to you, after such an unbelievable accomplishment as winning The Elimination Chamber to become champion, I...I....I couldn't let you go through the same pain that I went through when the championship was just stripped away from me. It wasn't my fault the division fell, or yours....so I refused to let history come full circle, I couldn't send you down that road. I had a chance to do the right thing, to do what I wished someone did for me all those years ago!


You can feel something in Layla's tone, her heart may be something many question if she has...but she seems to be pouring it out, and you can't help but listen, and wonder where she's going with this. 

[Layla]
But, and here's the difficult part...that's the problem. I spent so much time putting myself in your position, comparing our careers, trying to continue mine through you by giving you the chance I never got. I made it about me, I didn't consider the repercussions of my decision, and that's why everything fell apart. Letting you keep The Divas Championship may have made me feel overwhelming satisfaction, for my own selfish reasons...however, letting you keep The Divas Championship...did nothing but fill the locker room, with dissatisfaction.



Bayley's gaze shifts from Layla, and to her title, which has suddenly become the focus of things.




[Layla]
Didn't you notice the fact that every woman pretty much suddenly lost their voice? Nobody showed up for their matches, hell...my proposed tournament to take place at Final Stand, remember that? Guess what, nobody else did apparently because nobody bothered showing up! It was supposed to make the biggest female impact in the history of Final Stand, but instead...instead, it made hands down the worst. I've never been so embarrassed in my entire career, that was supposed to be us showing this company it can't just cast us aside like we don't matter! That they can't just call it quits on the division, that we are part of what made XWL so damn successful in the first place!


Layla wasn't lying when she said she had something she needed to say, it's almost as if she's been sitting on this since XWL went on it's hiatus. She's not sugarcoating anything.

[Layla]
I almost went straight to Stephanie's office the second Final Stand went off the air, I was done. I was fed up, I tried so hard to build us back up, but nobody cared. I was going to say the board was right, they should axe the division, because the division I know and love, would never crawl in a hole and die the way it was. The division I helped forge for women like you, wouldn't go out without a fight. So where was my fight? Why was I the only one fighting? And then it hit me, I was at Stephanie's door, and it hit me...why the lack of motivation? Why did everyone stop caring, why did they stop caring after I brought you out to the ring that very first night? Do you know why, Bayley? Do you?  



Some fans seem to have cracked the code, and they're not happy...booing, all while Bayley remains on her guard. She starts to raise her mic up, but Layla puts her hand up telling her she's not done.

[Layla]
It's because of you, it's because of me...it's because of what I did. There's a reason I was stripped of my title when the division fell and returned, it's because that's what you do. You don't try to pick up where you left off, because there's a reason it came to an end in the first place. You focus on the now, you make opportunity, you start everyone off on the same level...but I didn't do that. I placed you up on a pedestal, and said come knock her down. Why would they bother? I showed favoritism, I failed as a leader by letting my feelings cloud my judgment.


[JBL]
Is she about to do what I think she's going to do?


[King]
That was the rumor!

[Michael Cole]
I'm not sure I follow...




[Layla]
Bayley, I know that title means everything to you, but I'm afraid I've got some bad news, well for you that is. Stephanie and I, we've been having a lot of talks over the past couple of months. We want this to be the start of a new era, and when a new era begins, an old ends. Which is why tonight, you're the first of many loose ends being tied up. You see, when you have something new, you get rid of what's old. You know what's really old? Come on Bayley, you're a smart girl...what's old, and in this ring right now?


A comedian in the audience yells very loudly "YOU!" which causes Layla to look directly at him, and he sits down. Her eyes shift back to Bayley, who starts to look back st her title, holding it closer than previously.




[Layla]
That's right Bayley, it's not staying with you, it's coming with me. So hand it over, that title doesn't belong to you, and it hasn't for a very long time.

Bayley's been respectful this entire time, letting Layla say what she needed to say, but that time is over. She begins to shake her head and doesn't appear to be entertaining Layla's order.


[Bayley]
No...



And pop of the night goes to....Bayley! Her outright refusal makes the fans very happy.



[Layla]
Excuse me?


[Bayley]
I said no, Layla! You don't get to do this, you don't get to...you don't get to take this from me, from all of these people that won this just as much...as I did.

[Layla]
Um, yes...that's exactly what I get to do. Because I'm the boss, and what I say goes...so yes, I get to take that from you, and them if you wanna put it that way, NOW HAND IT OVER!



[Bayley]
No!

[Layla]
You little...this is not me asking, this is me telling you!


[Bayley]
No!


[Layla]
Listen here little girl, you do not say no to me...


[Bayley]
No.

[Layla]
After everything I've said, how can you still believe that title belongs to you? This is not a choice, Stephanie's going to come out here and do the same thing to every other champion. This is not us being unfair or picking on poor Bayley, this is us doing what's best for business. You don't kickoff a new era until you put the last to rest. So I will not say it again, I'm sorry if it pains you to do so...I get it, I do...but what you do not get, is that this is not a choice! You cannot shake your head, close your eyes, and think I'll disappear. This is reality Bayley, this is me telling you that you have been stripped of your championship, and you need to give it to me, NOW!


Deafening boos fill the building, whether they like it or not, Bayley has been stripped of her title, and she has to hand it over. But Bayley just like themselves, do not care. They saw Bayley's climb to the top, they were with her throughout her grueling journey, they saw her do what nobody thought she could ever do, how can she just hand the title over after fighting so hard to get it?  



[Layla]
You still don't get it, do you? You're such a pathetic little girl, wah wah mommy, I don't wanna give up a title I shouldn't have gotten to keep in the first place. Boo hoo, woe is me....poor little Bayley, she doesn't deserve this....YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE SHE DOESN'T DESERVE?!?


All of a sudden Layla outright snatches The Divas Championship away from Bayley!


[Layla]
THIS!

THUD!! Just as quick as Layla swipes the title and gloats, Bayley shocks the whole world when she without hesitation snatches Layla into her grasp, and squeezes ever so tightly. She causes the title, and her mic to fall to the mat, as Bayley follows through with the Bayley to Belly, and fittingly so, the back of Layla's head collides with the very title that's caused all of this!


[Michael Cole]
OH MY!

[JBL]
What in the hell does she think she's doing?


[King]
She's mauling Layla!



Nobody can believe what we're witnessing, and there's not a single person in their seat, everyone is watching with utter delight as Bayley lays into her boss! Shot after shot, Layla tries to shield herself from the blows but Bayley is a woman possessed! She went through a literal incarnation of hell to get that title, she can't just let someone take it from her. Layla's screams echo throughout the building, begging Bayley to stop but her pleas fall on deaf ears. Layla hasn't had to grapple with somebody in well over a year, she's rusty, she doesn't have that fighter's mentality she used to, she's out her element and it's showing. Bayley just wails away at her, mixing in her own screams with Layla's.



[JBL]
I told you it was all an act, that's not the same woman we saw come out here slapping bracelets on kids, and giving them her headband.

[Michael Cole]
It wasn't an act, but I will agree with there you there, this isn't the same Bayley.

[King]
It's the same Bayley, just a side we've never really seen before!


Getting absolutely destroyed, Layla realizes she's not softening the blows at all, and begins to claw at the mat. She's frantically feeling around until she finds exactly what she's looking for. With a tight grip, in a last ditch effort, Layla grabs the mic, and bonks Bayley over the head! Finally, the salvation she needed, Bayley's caught off guard, grabbing at her head instead of using her hands to further pumel Layla. This allows The "Lay-gislator" of The Divas Division to flee the scene. She slides backwards across the mat, because nobody ever runs when they need to in a horror movie, they just back up really slowly because logic, right? This is Layla's horror movie, she's never seen Bayley like this, and it's got her off her game. She doesn't want any part of this anymore, unfortunately for Layla...striking Bayley on the back of her head, almost seems to have made this situation, far more worse...


Bayley rises up to her feet, Layla throws her hands up desperate to reason with her...but the now former Divas Champion isn't at all interested. She charges at Layla, who being a master of running away, slips under the bottom rope just in time, collapsing to the floor grabbing at her neck, which appears to be giving her a lot of trouble. She tries to stumble to her feet, but as she rises, Bayley's there and she grabs a handful of hair, then sends Layla flying across the announce table!





[JBL]
Whoa, that is extremely unnecessary!

[Michael Cole]
Guys we may wanna get out of here.


A sound of headsets being dropped rings through our ears, and a glutton for punishment, Layla uses the table to try to get up, and try her hand at fleeing again...however Bayley's not done...she tears off the covering from the announce table, then rips out the monitors...all while the audience gets louder and louder...THEY'RE LOVING THIS! Layla tries to prop herself up using the table, a mistake she'll soon regret because Bayley climbs up onto it, then hoists Layla up there with her! IS SHE GOING TO DO WHAT WE THINK SHE IS?! She wraps her arms around Layla once again, this isn't a hug...this is Layla having the life squeeze out of her, just seconds before she's sent through this table...She does the only thing she can do, she screams. She's about to go through this table and there's nothing she can do...no one to come to her rescue...ding dong the witch is about to be dead....


Bayley lifts Layla up, BUT OH HAPPY DAY A SWARM OF REFEREES YANK LAYLA OUT OF HER CLUTCHES! The fans aren't happy, and Bayley's not going to just let them take this from her. She just like Layla are dragged away off of the table, but unlike a grateful Layla who finds herself hugging one of the officials for saving her...Bayley claws at the air having to be restrained by four referees herself. The two referees who came to Layla's rescue start to help her leave the ringside area, but doggonit, Bayley slips through the officials, races back to Layla, then before anyone can stop her, she pounces on her to a huge pop!



"GET HER OFF ME!!!" Layla screams while Bayley strikes her over and over. Thankfully for Layla, the four referees join together with the other two to drag Bayley away, though before she's full torn away The Brit, she manages to get in a few kicks, stomps, and  she makes sure to get in a one last good forearm shot, and a couple kicks mixed in with some stomps. The audience starts to can't "LET HER GO! LET HER GO!" but she's not being given any leeway to make a second escape. The official band together to lead her away from Layla, who sits herself up against the steps, seething with anger, and holding her neck, something appears to be wrong with it.



[King]
I can't believe what we just witnessed!

[Michael Cole]
I'm right with you there, King. Bayley almost put Layla through our announce table!

[JBL]
You see gentlemen, Layla was absolutely right, Bayley doesn't deserve to keep that title! A true champion doesn't behave in such an undignified manner! She assaulted a poor woman for just doing her job!

[Michael Cole]
I honestly don't know what to say, I hate to say it but that was complete anarchy!



The "LET HER GO!" chants continue as strong as they began, however the referees are in fact not going to let her go. They've managed to defuse the situation, they've gotten Bayley to the ramp, and despite her best efforts of slipping free again, they're not budging one bit. Lillian comes over to Laya, checking on her, its obvious something's up with that neck, but after continuing to hear the chant over and over....Layla swipes the mic out of Lillian's other hand, and struggles up to her feet.



[Layla]
HEY BAYLEY!



Layla breathes heavily into the microphone, staring at her attacker from one side of the ringside area to the other...she's angry...she's not only in pain, she's been outright embarrassed. You can see it in her eyes, and as we know...hell hath no fury like a woman that was almost put through the announce table.



[Layla]
Your little hug-a-maniacs have just given me an idea...you think you can just attack me like that? Defy me? Embarrass me? YOU THINK YOU CAN PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME WITHOUT CONSEQUENCES?!? Hey Houston, I agree...she should be let go. YOU'RE FIRED, BAYLEY! FIRED!


Within an instant, everything stops...Bayley stops flailing, the audience stops chanting, it's complete stunned silence...



[Layla]

With hands on awe-struck faces all around, the referees do as ordered, and lead a heartbroken and frozen Bayle up the ramp. This is the night she's waited for, the return...to come back to work and do what she loves...and now...it's gone, it's all gone. She lost her cool, and now...it's just gone. This isn't the start to the show we expected, nobody saw this coming...and that's why it's so hard to believe that it actually happened. Are we all living in the same bad dream? Or did we just learn exactly why you don't cross the boss? Bayley has been fired, she let her emotions get the best of her when Layla stripped her of the title and snatched it away....with the promise that Stephanie's going to be asking the same of every other champion sometime tonight...you have to hope those go a lot better than this did. Anarchy, that is what we just witnessed, and when we really start to think about it, that's what we were promised.

Within seconds the lights dim with only the titantron being lightened up with letters forming one by one across it sketching out the name of none other than Finn Balor.

King: This kid has got some acute strengths, let's see if he'll use them here tonight.

JBL: Certainly will, he trained with the many greats in Japan. He's a natural and I won't believe anything you say otherwise.

Displaying a look he was characterized by during his stay in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Emerging from the back tightly gripping onto the collar of both sides of the jacket whilst turning around and placing his two feet apart. Waves his arms swiftly into the air as if he’s parting the red sea. The crowd focused on him and the spotlight not leaving his side, continuing to make his way down to ringside after each flash of white/black strobe-lights. He nods his head after taking each foot step acknowledging the fans in a frenzy at his arrival here in XWL.



Michael Cole: An enigma in his own right, Finn Balor claims to be a bit of an introvert.

JBL: His presence haunts the air here tonight, unbelievable.

Taking note it’s been a long while since we’ve been able to capture the chilling feeling in the air during Finn’s patent entrance.


Lounging with his arms over the barricade embracing the pats on the back from his adored fan base. Closing his eyes swaying with embedded grace, lifting himself up on top of the apron with his knee sliding behind. Crouching on the apron with both of his arms only grazing the ring ropes. He suddenly opens his eyes noticing the huge roar from the crowd of 23,530 strong.

Pacing himself, he takes one slow leap onto the 2nd turnbuckle to his left. Swooping down he presses his legs on the turnbuckle post relaxing embellishing in the moment. His fingertips whimsically hitting the cold air beside him. Puffing out his chest he stares straight up at the ceiling channeling a higher power. White smoke spills out of the top of the turnbuckle where he’s still perched. The smoke clears and he swings down from the turnbuckle with the top of his hand propelling him to the middle of the ring. Bouncing on the soles of his feet he points directly to the camera and his entrance comes to a close. With the music drowning out his words he says a fews under his breath, and grabs onto a mic through the ropes from a stagehand.

Finn Balor: Cannot quite say I was expecting that, nevertheless I’m in a downpour of excitement as much as you are. Roaming around with the boy-o’s in the back is a grand ol time, but this.. this is a feel-en that cannot be matched for the life of it. For certain, it’s destruction that sought out XWL and tried to rip it from underneath each and every ONE of you. XWL came together as a whole, with many months come and pass. We’re back and we’re better than ever, and you’re going to see Finn Balor regain his rightful place on the XWL mountain tops.

Finn getting cut off by a fan and then sends his thanks then continues on with his speech igniting more passion hearing the rumble in his throat.

Finn Balor: The last time I was here, I pressed the gauntlet. I threw on my gear and strapped arrows to my back. I was ready to wage war with foes and even friends. The arrows being you people, with every moment thought of failure. I had you guys in my ear telling me I could achieve much greater. Each time that I didn’t know if I could make it out alive or not. You men and women  were the arrow that wedged deep into my opponent's heart. You led me through many fights and tonight, I send my shout out.

Finn nods back at the crowd and turns around to the opposite side with the mic in the air letting their voice be echoed through it. He keeps the mic high above his head showing his gratitude and promises that he’ll put good will and he won’t ever cast judgement on those who aren’t standing with him.


Raising his palm and putting it into a fist.. he changes his grin that lit up the fire in young kids into a plain sulk showing no expression on him. Taking the mic with charge he flicks the switch on and off showing a sudden change. The crowd goes silent and you can hear a pin drop around the entire circumference of the arena

Finn Balor: Let me finish, ….  I thank you for a lot of things. For following me on social media, For paying to see me wrestle with your hard earned money. With that said money, granting me enough to say. You played into my hands, you fell into my parlor tricks. You fed from my agony of defeat, only to buy more merch to support my so called cause. You felt what I wanted you to feel and most importantly. You’ve made me a courteous gentleman for the sake of gaining more wealth. You’re my favorite wrestling fans, unless you stop making me money. You see, I call the shots and without Finn Balor you have no one to look up to. So I created this image of a man who would be everything you ever dreamed of or looked for in a pro wrestler. I did your autographed photos with a smile on my face because I knew where being patient would get me.

King: I'm not too sure I like the way he's going about his business.

JBL: What do you mean? Sure he has some questionable antics about him. That does not set him up to be blamed for his actions that are benefiting one guy and one guy only. Finn Balor, because at the end of the day that's who matters most.

King: Yeah well, I'm not on any side.. all I know is I don't like it.

JBL: You don't have to like it, nobody is asking you to, the only thing you have to do is respect it.

Michael Cole: You two are out of your damn mind, Balor turning his back on the fans and you're sitting here in a mild debate? Do you know how this changes things?

Finn Balor: I saw the kids wearing my facepaint to show support and I was their in-spa-ray-shun. I still can be, because in this world you either fight to keep living another day.. or you live until that day sooner or later comes around and bites you right in the arse. I’m neither, I filled your heads with the same boring shit a smart man would say, to get himself into the position of greatness.

Soaking in the moment he gets himself comfortable looking down at his jacket with a scowl on his face returning back to the microphone

Finn Balor: XWL, I was the guy who told you everything you wanted to hear at the time, you were the girl who bought into it. Now, continue to wave the Flag of Balor and proudly say Finn Balor is your hero among the common kind. because he's my hero and I get to see him every day I look into the mirror. By the way, my real name is Fergal Devitt and I genuinely hate the lot of you.

JBL: There you have it folks, Fergal Devitt remember that name because I have a feeling if you don't he'll make you.

Cole presses his finger onto his earpiece and listens for further instructions.

Michael Cole: Ladies and Gentleman, I've been informed Finn Balor will be in action against "The Icon" Sting. That match is actually, RIGHT NOW.





After having his hand raised by the ref, Finn falls out the 2nd rope to his feet. Walking up the ramp almost embarrassed at the fact that they are still cheering. “What a performance, What a performance.. by me. Light work” he says while he puts both his arms in an conductor type of way and bows to the orchestra of these mindless sheeple. Making his exit closing out the scene.

Anarchy comes back to us live backstage, in the form of Renee Young who appears to be moments away from conducting an interview. She waits for the cue that we're live, then smiles as we await just who might be joining her.





[Renee Young]
Ladies and Gentlemen, in just a moment, my guest at this time will make his first appearance for XWL in well over three years. He has been United States Champion, Intercontinental Champion, X-treme Champion, and World Heavyweight Champion. He is not only XWL's second ever Grand Slam Champion, he is half the age of the very first man to do so. Throw in the fact that he holds the record as the longest reigning World Heavyweight Champion in XWL history, and you've got yourself one impressive resume. Exceeding expectations came naturally to him, and that's why he's here to exceed another. Many thought we'd never seen him step foot in XWL ever again, but that's exactly what he's about to do.

Some noticeable rustling can be heard to her left, obviously this person is ready to make his appearance, and it's really no longer a mystery as to who she's talking about.

As quick as that E escapes her mouth, a high pitched "uh-uh" echos from her side, and the man steps into focus, revealing himself as of course Evan Bourne. However, he doesn't seem happy with something she did, he stares at her silently, looking her up and down, waiting for her to realize what mistake she's made, but when she doesn't, he exhales a deep sigh.

Oh, OH, oh I'm so sorry, I meant to say, please help me welcome back to XWL, Reborn....Matt Sydal!

Shaking his head with utter disappointment, the apparently renamed Matt Sydal does not seem to be enjoying his first impression of Renee Young.

[Matt Sydal]

I'd say it's great to be back, but you sure ruined that, now didn't you?

[Renee Young]
My apologies, everything I read up on said Evan Bourne, and  I didn't get the memo that you rebanded yourself until earlier today so I'm very sorry, it won't happen again.

[Matt Sydal]

See that it doesn't, because I've more than earned the respect I expect from you.

[Renee Young]
Of course, I mean you went from United States Champion to World Heavyweight Champion in your first year, that's incredible.

[Matt Sydal]

I know, but you've also left out the fact that I'm the first superstar to simultaneously carry both The United States, and World Heavyweight Championships. Guess that's just another thing that slipped your mind, huh Renee?

There's just so much to remember, I mean...wow you sure didn't waste any time, did you?

[Matt Sydal]

No, I didn't. However, apparently I've decided to do that with you.


Renee may have mixed up his names, and she felt bad for that, but she's not at all liking his attitude, or the fact that he won't stop throwing digs at her.

Okay, well how about change that, hm? Let's address the huge elephant in the room, who is Matt Sydal and why has he replaced Evan Bourne? Naturally I'm sure you have a very important reason for undergoing such a change, so please we're all ears.

Oh, you want me to explain myself? Because for some reason you feel entitled to an explanation? Is that it, Renee? You believe that I owe you an explanation, my what a perfectly acceptable conclusion you have there. Oh wait, it's not. You wanna know why? Well how about this, you and all of those people out there, and the eyes glued to the sets at home will get your answer, the second I get something that I damn well am actually owed, and you know that is, Renee? You know what the price everyone needs to pay for this juicy little tidbit? It's a little something called, R...E...S...P....E...C...T! Ever heard of it? I realize it's probably a foreign language to the likes of you, and clearly all of them as well.

Look, I realize we probably got off on the wrong foot, I really didn't mean to slip up at the beginning, it happens this is live television after all, but I mean this is your return, shouldn't you lighten up a little bit? This is an interview, one you asked for might I add, and all I tried to do was show a little interest in why a successful man Evan Bourne, would opt to return under a new identity. With all due respect, it feels a little counterproductive to boats about your well earned accomplishments, and then cast aside the name you did such things under.

With all due respect? Did you not listen to a single thing I just said? You, nor anybody else has shown me respect, so no you do not get to treat this as an innocent little mishap, this is not a one time occurrence, this is how it was, and it's how it appears to be once again. Getting my name wrong, shows your inept ability in doing your job, something I know nothing about because clearly I've excelled in every way at mine. So maybe you, and everyone both back here, and out there...should follow my example, because then maybe your lives wouldn't be in such disarray that you'd have to take it out on me by purposefully trying to agitate me time and time again.

How about this, clearly I've struck a nerve by asking such a simple question, so tell me Matt....what should I ask you? Is asking what you had for dinner too much of an intrusion? Is it disrespectful to ask you about your new haircut? Would it be just downright foul of me to ask you why you've decided to return for this new era of XWL? Is that too much? Because my job which you criticized, is to ask you a multitude of things, and yours...right now, is not to be difficult, to to answer them, because that is how an interview works


An amused smirk appears on Matt's face, obviously finding Renee Young snapping to be very entertaining. It's almost like he intentionally tried to be difficult just because he could. But it'd be disrespectful to dare make such an assumption. Renee attempts to regain her composure, but seeing the expression on Mr. Sydal's face makes that even more challenging than we could ever know.

[Matt Sydal]

Difficult, huh? Did that feel good, Renee? To finally let it all out, to let the real Renee Young come out and play? How's this for an explanation, maybe it was time I let the REAL Evan Bourne come out and play... Maybe I never got to show my true potential all those years ago because my competition was anything but. Maybe, and do try to follow me here.. Evan Bourne was just the tip of the iceberg? Maybe, I've finally awakened my final form, and that form...is Reborn, Matt Sydal. A form that will make everything I've done, become an afterthought to everything I'm now going to do.



With such conviction in his voice, Matt Sydal drops a statement that cannot be ignored. He is not only back, not only "reborn" but has unlocked his final form...a form that will make everything he's done, pale in comparison to what he's going to do. Is that even possible? Can such a statement be backed up? We'd ask ourselves how one man could be so sure of himself, but this is no ordinary superstar, this is a man that's proven he has the ability to hang with the best of them. Matt gives Renee a smug "How's that for an answer?" look, and walks away leaving her flabbergasted. That wasn't an interview, we barely scraped the surface on the emergence of Matt Sydal, we don't even know for sure if that was a real answer or not, but according to Matt Sydal this interview is over, we're left with so many unanswered questions, but in just a little bit, we'll find out if he really is even better than before, when he competes against the also returning Roderick Strong. We cut to a graphic promoting the match for a moment, and then fade out to a commercial.

Eva Marie has been hyping up her debut for weeks, making red carpet appearances, and showing off a bit of her training. Whereas Alexa Bliss has left everything to the imagination, she's the unknown, and sometimes it's what you don't know that can be the most dangerous. Which debuting diva will come out on top? What an impressive win for Eva Marie. You've gotta give credit where credit is due, and the fact of the matter is that Eva picked up a clean victory, much to the chagrin of the fans here tonight.

After the ref releases her wrist, the red-haired diva blows a slow kiss to a couple of guys in the front row who are holding up a sign that reads: "



Eva extends her right arm and gestures for someone to hand her a mic. She walks over to the ropes and takes it, confidence oozing from her cunning smile

Eva Marie leans down towards Alexa, who was just beginning to show signs of consciousness again. A false expression of concern crosses The Red Queen's face as she proceeds with her verbal attack

Eva then proceeds to lead the booing audience in an involuntary chant

She holds the mic out to the crowd who nearly boo her out of the building by this point. It's clear they are not pleased with her victory or how she continues to belittle her opponent, and are not putting up with any of her antics tonight

Eva grits her teeth and charges at Bliss, viciously kicking her in the gut before rolling her out of the ring under the bottom rope with her foot. As the boos surprisingly become even louder than before, Eva collectively brushes her hair out of her face with her manicured fingertips

After the uproar from the crowd finally becomes impossible to ignore, she holds her arms out cockily and embraces the heat, doing a slow turnaround to face all in attendance. "BOOOO!" The lights cut out. Leaving the arena submerged in darkness. No word comes from the commentators, can only assume that the technical difficulties that they were being plagued by have also affected their headsets. The crowd is unsure what to think, there a few cheers from those who believe this is a part of the show and many boos from those who feel this is an interupetion of their evening. A few moments pass before a few flickers of white flash on the titantron, disappering as quickly as they showed themselves. An image begins to slowly fill out from the middle of the titantron, replacing the empty nothingness with an iconic scene.

The scene repeats itself a before burn marks appear on the titantron, as though a worn out film being shown through a projector leaving the titantron once again in darkness. The crowd, in a stunned silence as the historical piece of film is no more.

A figure can be seen creeping forward from the darkness, a very faint break of light reveals the figure bit by bit as he makes his way forward. The figure steps out from the shadows revealing hinself to be "The Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt, he chuckles to himself as he stares down the camera.

This World can be a cruel place, it can cast you out in a heartbeat but the true cruelty of it all is that those who have been shunned don't even realise it, those who have been thrown away and cast aside by this World haven't the faintest idea of what is happening around them because they are too busy being blinded by their naivety to see the actual picture. They see the smiles all around them, they see the clouds in the sky and they feel the sun on their skin and they think to themselves that "everything is alright" Hahaha... That's what they want you to think, man. Tell me, why is that you can't sleep it night? Why is it that you get this sickening feeling in the depths of your stomach? I'll tell you what what is... Reality... Reality has become so uncommon to you people that when you are faced with it that it has adverse effects on the mind and body, to the point where it's gotten so bad that you people can no longer accept reality for what it is...

The camera quickly cuts to rinside, the arena no longer in darkness but instead being illuminated by the "Fireflies" dancing the arena in an awe inspiring sight.

You people like to believe that the World is a kind and caring place because you can't accept the World for what it really is. This World has become evil. This World has become tainted and unpure and it is you people that have allowed it to happen. You see the horrors of this World each and every day, you are faced with the evil that this World produces and still you carry on with your day without a care in the World! You turn away and believe it's not your problem, that a hero will swoop in a save the day. In this World. There are no heroes. Only monsters. It's by these monetrs that you have become blinded, you have been misled by those that have sworn to protect you because it is these people that have told you these lies, it is these people that have told you that the World is rich and pure. It's these people that you thought were helping you reach new levels of enlightenment, while they were holding down in the dirt.

Bray paces back and forth, moving his hand along with his speech, as though he is conducting his words.

They're the ones that make you dream. They're the ones that tell you that anything is possible and that you can truly achieve anything in this lifetime... Whilst shackling you with limitations. They're the ones that give you your freedom, whilst making you slave your life away hahaha... Like everything in life, it sounds too good to be true. They've made fools of you, all of you. That's what they do, they misguide you with these hollow promises, they whisper these false hopes in your ear so you will do everything that they want you to do and they promise you everything that you desire. Greed. Lust. They promise they will lead you into a new World... Into a New Era...

Wyatt smiles like the Cheshire cat at the mere mention of the words "New Era" It's very hard to know what a man like his is thinking

The "New Era" has begun man. Hahaha... A new era where all has been wiped clean, your past transgressions are forgiven, your sins absolved, a fresh start for all... A cute sentiment for those who are naive to this World, but you and I both know that such a thing doesn't exist. Nothing more than a lie dangled from a rope to keep the sheep blinded to everything that is happening around them. To rid you of your guilt, to help you sleep better at night, to make you feel safe within your own little lie. You may like to pretend, they may like to forgive but I do not forget! I do not forgive! The people of this World have to pay man because I remember. I remember everything that you have done, I know what lurks in the deepest, darkest corners of your mind that you try to keep shackled up and hidden from the World! But what if I told you... That voice... That voice that you try to fight, man... That's the very thing that will set you free...

But no... You choose to follow the herd, you want to remain blind little lamb whilst the shepard that leads you, the man that you follow with such blind faith is the man that hides a gun behind his back! Why? Why do you follow so blindly? Why have you misplaced such loyalty? Because he throws you scraps to feed on... Because he makes you feel a little more safe in your tiny little World but if you used your brain, if you opened your eyes and looked around you, you would see that you outnumber him and you could take what is rightfully yours! Ask yourself, man, what is yours? What is rightfully yours? Your house? Your possessions? Nah... The World, man. It's all yours... Excitement fills the arena as we come back from a commercial break, eagerly awaiting what might be next. Is Stephanie about to march out to the tune "Queendom" to call out another champion for their title? No, what is about to happen, is the return of another "queen" in her own right.  



We haven't heard this sound in well over a year, and it gathers a nice response from the fans, cheers and turned heads as they look to the stage for the return of the anvillete herself.


[Michael Cole]
Oh my, is that Natalya?!

[King]
I sure hope so, we haven't seen her in forever!

[JBL]
Haha, the daughter of Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, what a treat this is!


The applause gets louder as we see Natalya pink embellished hair and all stepping out through the curtain and with a bright smile on her face. The third generation diva throws her arms up screaming "Yeah baby!" overjoyed to be back, and in awe of the reaction. It's a new era, and Natalya looks more than ready to be apart of it.  


[JBL]
She is the first ever third generation female wrestler in the world, with a stat like that, this is a big deal ladies and gentlemen.

[Michael Cole]
Not only that, JBL she's a former Divas Champion!

[King]
And that Sharpshooter of hers has always made her one dangerous diva.

[JBL]
For crying out loud, King she's the only woman to be trained in Stu Hart's famous Dungeon, every move of hers could be dangerous if she wanted it to be!


Soaking in this moment, feeling what she does now, Natalya closes her eyes for a second, then with a cheery glow she begins to run down the ramp high fiving every hand she can reach. She stops a few feet away from the ring, looking all around her, this is real, this is happening, and she's ready. Natalya high fives a couple more lucky fans as she makes her way to the steel steps, then grabs the ring post while pointing at the ring and shouts "THIS IS MY THRONE!" to another big pop. 


[Michael Cole]
With the news earlier of Bayley being stripped of her title, you've gotta believe that Natalya has all the capabilities of competing at Breakthrough for the XWL Womens Championship!

[JBL]
She's more than capable, Michael! This lady doesn't mess around in that ring, and not only is this her return, it's her official notice to all the women in the back, that this ring is her throne and that title would make a mighty fine crown.

While we took a moment to see what insight our commentary team has to shed on Natalya's return, she retrieved a microphone from Lillian Garcia, and positioned herself in the middle of the ring, ready to address everyone. What might she have to say? With a deep breath in, and out, she raises her microphone.  



[Natalya]
I can't tell you how great it feels to be out here right now, in front of all of you, inside THIS ring again!

The crowd cheers in agreement, they're as happy to have her back, as she is to be back.


[Natalya]
There's so many things I wanna say, all the tweets, the letters, the emails, you didn't forget me and move onto some new toy, you wanted me back, so be careful what you ask for, because you just might get it!

Natalya lets out her signature laugh, before proceeding.



[Natalya]
That's right, I made a deal with the devil, sorry...I mean Layla, whoopsie....and now I'm back, baby!

A "Welcome Back" chant starts to make it's way through the audience, gaining traction with each passing second, making Natalya feel even more love than she already felt.



[Natalya]
It's been far too long, and I don't know about you, but as someone that's been watching at home all this time, I think this division needs someone to whip it into shape. Some noses need thumping, some attitudes need checking, and some faces downright just need a good old slap in the face! Because this isn't about who can say they're the best, or who can say they're the "baddest." This is about who can step into this ring, prove all of the above!


[King]
Natalya's not messing around!

[JBL]
No she sure isn't it, and that's what I like to see!

[Michael Cole]
And judging by the reaction, that's what the fans like to see as well. Someone taking charge and telling it like it is.





[Natalya]
I've been doing this for a long time, I've been there, done that, gotten the t-shirt, a hat, and the commemorative jacket! So if anyone thinks they're just going to walk all over me, then they're just going to have to learn a lesson that I've taught many women throughout my career, when you mess....with the best, you go down...with the rest! Something Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch will soon learn when we meet inside this ring later tonight. So ladies, I do wish you luck, but you're gonna need a whole lot more than that because I've got a whole lot of...hart.






[Natalya]
Which is what separates me from the rest of the pack, I don't say never, and I don't buckle under pressure. Tonight may be your debut, the start of your journey, but tonight's the night Natalya picks back up where she left off all those years ago. We WILL tear the house down, and we WILL show the world what wrestling is all about...But I've got one other thing in mind, that's being champion again. After what happened with Bayley earlier tonight, I think we can all agree you need someone that can breakthrough all the drama, and just make wrestling matter. You need a champion you can be proud of, and I want to be that champion. Too many people try to talk their way into a championship match...but when it comes down to it, it's never about this...


Natalya uses her hand to mimic someone that talks a lot of nonsense.


[Natalya]
It's always about what happens inside THIS!

Wrestling first ever third generation female points to the ring she's in, and makes a statement that the audience couldn't agree more with. Natalya is back, and her sights are set on claiming the newly vacant prize, but she's no doubt ruffled a few feathers so what will her fellow women have to say, or better yet...what will they prove inside the ring? Proud of herself, Natalya sets the mic down, then walks over to the ropes in view of the camera, places both hands on them, and then steps down on the bottom rope symbolically welcoming any challenge to what she had to say as we fade out.

We return from a commercial break and immediately are taken to a clip highlight of what took place at the start of the show. Bayley is shown kicking off the night, smiling and proudly displaying her Divas Championship. Before she can address the audience for too long though, the woman in charge of The Divas Division came out with something to say. "Around Eight months ago, when XWL brought back the Divas Division under my authority, I was all so new to the position." ".I didn't know what was right or what was wrong. I thought I was doing the right thing, really I did...but, and this is painful to admit...I screwed everything up!" We see a shot of Bayley looking confused, as we skip ahead to what Layla had to say next.

" I spent so much time putting myself in your position, comparing our careers, trying to continue mine through you by giving you the chance I never got. I made it about me, I didn't consider the repercussions of my decision, and that's why everything fell apart. Letting you keep The Divas Championship may have made me feel overwhelming satisfaction, for my own selfish reasons...however, letting you keep The Divas Championship...did nothing but fill the locker room, with dissatisfaction. "


Bayley started at her title, feeling deep within herself that something was not right. "I placed you up on a pedestal, and said come knock her down. Why would they bother? I showed favoritism, I failed as a leader by letting my feelings cloud my judgment. "


"Stephanie and I, we've been having a lot of talks over the past couple of months. We want this to be the start of a new era, and when a new era begins, an old ends. Which is why tonight, you're the first of many loose ends being tied up."

Bayley knew what she meant, but she couldn't comply, she just couldn't.

"That's right Bayley, it's not staying with you, it's coming with me. So hand it over, that title doesn't belong to you, and it hasn't for a very long time. "


Bayley wasted no time disobeying Layla, and responding with a clear defiant "No." Layla couldn't believe it, how could she say no to her? "Excuse me?"   "I said no, Layla! You don't get to do this, you don't get to...you don't get to take this from me, from all of these people that won this just as much...as I did. "

" I'm the boss, and what I say goes...so yes, I get to take that from you, and them if you wanna put it that way, NOW HAND IT OVER!"

Layla's frustration was evident, but Bayley's refusal would not waiver. She repeatedly told Layla no, and Layla would not accept no for an answer. "This is not a choice, Stephanie's going to come out here and do the same thing to every other champion. This is reality Bayley, this is me telling you that you have been stripped of your championship, and you need to give it to me, NOW!"


But she wouldn't, leaving Layla no choice..."Boo hoo, woe is me....poor little Bayley, she doesn't deserve this....YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE SHE DOESN'T DESERVE?!?

AND JUST LIKE THAT...SHE'D SNATCH THE TITLE AWAY FROM BAYLEY! A decision she'd soon regret...for Bayley would not surrender so easy. She dropped her boss with The Bayley to Belly, and unload onto Layla seeing red for the first time we can remember. Bayley was a woman that had snapped...she worked so hard..went through so much...and now it was all being taken from her, and not the way a champion is supposed to lose a title.

Gusty as ever, Layla would find a way to grab one of the fallen mics, and strike Bayley long enough to flee from the onslaught she was under. However, things would get far worse...Bayley would throw her over the announce table, and eventually..attempt to drop Layla with another Bayley to Belly, this time...through the announce table...but referees would come to Layla's rescue, leading Bayley up the ramp, prompting the audience to chant "LET HER GO" in a unified effort. Something they might regret doing, because she was let go....but not by the referees...


"YOU THINK YOU CAN PUT YOUR HANDS ON ME WITHOUT CONSEQUENCES?!? Hey Houston, I agree...she should be let go. YOU'RE FIRED, BAYLEY! FIRED!"


Bayley's fight faded, her lip quivered, her eyes blinked at a rapid rate, and the audience went silent. It didn't have to end like this...but for Bayley, it did. She was a champion that wouldn't quit, and it would get her fired on the night she had anticipated for so long...this was her return, but it would be short lived. The recap comes to an end with Layla holding the back of her neck being our final sight.


Following that detailed refresher for those just tuning in, or those that may have tried to block the harsh memory from their head. Following what went down at the start of tonight's show, Layla was taken backstage to get checked out. We noticed her favoring her neck quite a bit, so is she hurt? We head within the trainer's room and instantly find Layla sitting down, accessorized with a neck brace...and she does NOT look happy.

[Layla]
I just...I don't know what I did wrong...I did my job, I was fair, honest, and what does it get me? THIS!

She's talking to herself, we're not sure where the doctor went, but it's obvious he's a very smart man because he did not stay around for Layla's pity party.

[Layla]
How am I supposed to go back out there looking like this? You look ridiculous Layla, utterly ridiculous!

The Brit tries to hang her head, but due to her stabilized neck, that's not possible, which agitates her further.

[Layla]
And now you're talking to yourself like a complete loser, god...NO! No, you are not the one you should be upset with, you did your job, you restrained yourself because you are a professional. This is all Bayley's fault! She couldn't face facts and surrender her title, she had cause a scene, she had to make it about her, THIS WASN'T ABOUT HER!


Maybe it's due to the stress of what she went through, or maybe it's a side effect of the painkillers she was no doubt given to ease things, but she's really...vocal for a person that is in a room alone.

[Layla]
Now what are you going to do? You've got an announcement to make, you can't make it wearing this god awful thing. This is not a cute look, Layla...everyone's going to laugh, they're going to chant "YOU LOOK STUPID" because guess what, you do!

Layla covers her face, embarrassed, upset, perhaps wishing she could pinch herself and wake up from this nightmare, but this happened, and now she's sitting here in a neckbrace, freaking out.

[Layla]
Ugh, how is anyone suppose to take me seriously in this thing?

From somewhere off screen, another voice comes into the sound of the camera.

[???]
Who are you talking to?

Layla spins around as the camera backs out to find none other than Madison Rayne. The self proclaimed "Killer Queen" of the locker room looks better than ever, dressed in her wrestling attire, apparently having a match later tonight. She looks around, slightly confused, thinking that Layla had been talking to someone, but finding no one she could of possibly of been talking to. None the less, she smiles at Layla, holding out her arms for a hug.


[Layla]
Oh Madi, it's just awful!

Distraught from everything she's dealt with tonight, Layla hops off the table and embraces Madison in a hug. Of course, this is not exactly a practical thing to do given the fact she's got a huge neck brace around her. So by trying to hug Madison, she's ultimately suffocating her, and she's too upset to even notice. Maddy looks as though she is struggling to get Layla to release but eventually does, causing her to catch her breath.

[Madison Rayne]
Hey.... To you.... Too.....

Layla, still sobbing, throws her face into her hands, trying to hide it from Rayne, who looks over her, with a look. Whether it's pity, or sympathy, is beyond anyone but her.

[Madison Rayne]
There, there.

Rayne says, sticking a hand out, lightly patting Layla's shoulder. Though, not going too far out of her way to be comforting.

[Madison Rayne]
Why don't you tell me what the matter is Lay?

Rayne does a pouty expression, trying to being sympathetic to Layla, but as everyone knows...nobody likes that, and Layla is no exception.

[Layla]
Don't patronize me, Madison! Look, I appreciate what you're trying to do...but you know damn well what's wrong. It was supposed to be a simple task, vacate the title, have Bayley surrender it, and then...

Not wanting to let the cat out of the bag as to what her planned announcement would have been, Layla catches herself before she spills the beans.

[Layla]
I just...I can't believe it, who just viciously assaults someone like that for no reason?!?

[Madison Rayne]
Someone who deserves what they got. Bayley is someone who thinks she deserves everything, but once she got a real dose of what she needed, she over reacted. Layla, you didn't deserve that.

[Layla]
I mean it's not like we singled her out, every champion is getting stripped of their title tonight, what's so hard to understand about that? I know for a fact had it been you for example that had to surrender your title, you'd have done so with grace and integrity because that is what a true champion does. You can't just attack someone like some wild animal, she's supposed to be an adult, not a spoiled little brat...

[Madison Rayne]
You know what? Forget her. She isn't even worth being in contention for the title Layla. You made the right call. You did a great job, as you always do. And you know what? The champion needs to do a great job too. You know who does a great job, just like you? The other Queen of the diva's division.

Then suddenly, the tides turn. From being the sweet friend to turning into a greedy competitor once again. She smiles into the distance as though seeing her name on the belt.

[Layla]
I...

Layla stops, realizing that Ms. Rayne is encaptured by the thought of something. Madison continues to stare off into nothing, seeing something grand. That something is herself, with that title wrapped around her waist, and it's magical...

[Layla]
Madi?

Layla steps a little closer, snapping directly into the eyes of her "friend" who immediately shakes her head and tries her best to not call attention to the fact that she just got lost in thought.

[Layla]
Focus hun, remember...tonight is important, you're facing the daughter of Ric Flair. Do not underestimate her, okay? I put you against her so that you can finally show the world what you're made of. It's a crime that you've gone all these years without a run as champion, and as the Lay-gislator of The Divas Division, it is my job to ensure everyone gets exactly what they deserve.

It's almost like Layla just said the sweetest thing ever to Maddy. Rayne's face lights up at the sound of her deserving to be champion.

[Madison Rayne]
I mean, if you really think that Layla, then who am I to tell you you're wrong? I can see it now. "Rayne defeats Charlotte, and becomes an obvious contender for the belt. The Diva's Divison gets what they need, all thanks to Layla."

Rayne winks at Layla, as though hinting at the fact that she would be responsible for what Madison would think is the best thing to happen to the division.

[Layla]
I've always had the division's best interest in mind, and what it needs more than ever...is a champion that can do what I did before. That's why next week, I'm making a very special announcement, it was supposed to be tonight...but with everything that's happened, I can't go back out there in front of all those people, especially wearing this...

The British Beauty grabs at her neck brace, exhaling a deep sigh, while Madison's smile still hasn't faded. Perhaps The Queen Bee is reading too much into what Layla's saying?

[Layla]
Thankfully all this mess with Bayley is sure to have blown over by next week's show, I let's be honest, I'm the real victim here. Just as Bayley got what she deserved, it's time the division finally gets what it deserves too. I've thought long and hard about this, and Madison...I really can't wait to share the news with you.


Layla flashes an endearing smile, which whether intentional or not, has made Madison's face smile even brighter than it already was...what does Layla mean by this? Madison in her mind seems to have solved the puzzle, but has she? Madison jumps forward, hugging Layla tightly.

[Madison Rayne]
I knew you'd be great at this job! I'm so excited! What am I going to wear? Wait till Josh hears! Oh my gosh this is actually happening.

A medic enters the room as Madison continues to babble on. She smiles as she turns away, going to leave the room, now stuck in her own fantasies. She blows a kiss to Layla, the idea of gold appearing to be obvious on her mind as we head to a commercial promoting XWL's first Special Event since returning, Breakthrough.

Normal Match

[Momentum is as  important as ever, it's a new fresh start for everyone. It's a chance to reclaim fame, or finally reach it. Can Hideo finally get on the road to success by taking down a former World Heavyweight Champion? Or will Sheamus Brogue Kick his way back to where he last left off? Japan meets Ireland when Hideo Itami steps into the ring with Sheamus! ]

It has been one hell of a match, both Sheamus and Hideo Itami have flung everything they have at one another, counters, kick-outs, big moves, this match had it all. Both men have brawled in the ring, they have brawled out of the ring, Hideo Itami had the crowd in his corner, fighting like a true hero, while Sheamus tried to keep Hideo Itami grounded and even did some damage to him on the outside of the ring. But as long as this match went, as much as the crowd loved it, there could only be one winner. Hideo Itami tried to go for his GTS, Sheamus battles out with elbows to the side of the head, he dazes Hideo Itami and slips off his shoulders, running of the ropes he connects with the Brogue Kick! Hideo Itami almost loses his head as Sheamus drops down and makes the cover. The referee then slides down and makes the cover.

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

Ring Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, by way of pinfall, SHEAMUS!



Sheamus raises his arms outwards and slants his head backwards and lets out a loud and powerful roar as he then beats his chest several times. He did not expect this match to go as long as it did, he did not expect Hideo Itami to put up such a big fight, but he did, but in the end it did not matter as he still walked out the winner. Sheamus music was playing as he walks to the ring ropes. He leans out and starts to scream form a microphone. The time keeper was quickly to action as he ran over and gave him a microphone.

SHEAMUS
Cut the music! I said cut the bloody music, I got something I want to say!

The crowd would boo as Sheamus looks down at Hideo Itami and smirks as he walks over and kicks him out of the ring, bascially rolling his limp body out of his ring. Sheamus then smirks as he then begins to speak.

SHEAMUS
Each and every single one of you people here, you doubted me! You thought that I would lose to this nobody, to this Hideo Itami! Well look at what happened! Look at what happened to your little hero here. He thought he could take down me? Not bloody likely. I gave this little fella a lesson he will never forget. This ring right here! It belongs to me! This is a new company, a new start for me and I am here to prove myself, I am here to prove that I am a big fish, in a little pond. There is nobody here that can match me. There is nobody here that can defeat me. After what you saw me do to Hideo Itami, can you actually doubt anything I am saying? This is a fresh start for me and the mistakes of the past shall not be repeated. You can all chant your little chants. You can all cheer for losers like Hideo Itami. You can all call me stupid, but who is the stupid one here? I won my match, Hideo Itami lost his. I am undefeated and I am setting my sights at the top of XWL, and there is not a bloody soul here that can stop me!

Sheamus then throws the microphone out of the ring, doing his best to hit Hideo Itami, to add extra insult to his fallen opponent. His music would then blast out of the sound system once again as he beats his chest and leaves the ring. He has done what was needed to be done. He won his match. He said what needed to be said, he was going to the top, and after tonight's performance, can anyone stop him?

The camera makes it’s way to the top of the stage where we hear a heavy intro of a guitar solo with drums following up. “End Of Heartache by Killswitch Engage" jump starts the live crowd. The curtains are swung to the side and out comes a familiar face in Roderick Strong. In his “Stronger Than You Think” newly debuted t-shirt available in all sizes on XWL.com.  


[Michael Cole]
We've seen a lot of familiar faces pop up here tonight, and here comes another one!

[JBL]
I've heard a lot about Roderick Strong, he's exactly the type of guy that benefits from this new era in XWL.

[King]
The last time we saw him was on the fifth anniversary of Final Stand when he was the last man standing.

[Michael Cole]
It takes a lot to win a match like that, so I predict big things for this man in the coming months.



Putting his hand above his eyes overseeing the fans as if he has a handmade visor. Speed walking down the stage and ramp, slapping onto the apron getting himself pumped up. Taking no time at all, missing two portions of the steps. Sending himself up onto the top of the turnbuckle and then into the ring. The theme fades out and the fans are shocked to see Roddy back on XWL grounds.

I shouldn’t have to remind anyone who I am. For those who have forgotten, I’m the guy who put wrestling on the map. Roderick Strong, me.. yeah that’s right, and the uneducated jokes they placed me up against was not only disrespectful. It was a downright shame, I even said to these rookies you should watch your mouth before it gets you hurt. Long story short, I popped them all in the face and nobody ever heard of them again.

Collecting his thoughts and playing off that he's not a man you should see as a stepping stone. Listening to a few hecklers behind him he finds himself back talking about the task at hand

>Roderick Strong<

I came into XWL to face real one on one competition. It became apparent to me that I would no longer have to settle for lazy, pathetic excuses of wrestling scum. I have been all over the world in 80 days or less. Make no mistake about it, I’m going to run through everyone that I get my hands on. You know what, we don't even have to wait much longer because that is starting toni-





Speaking of running through everyone...Roderick is cut off by a man that knows everything about doing just that. The music catches the crowd off guard at first, but once they see the name "Matt Sydal" appear on the stage graphics they waste no time and  start booing. Sydal didn't exactly make the best impression backstage just a bit ago during his interview, if you could even call it that. Roderick Strong lowers the mic to his side, perhaps Matt just wants to cut the small talk and jump right into action, and that's just fine by him.    



[JBL]
This is going to be awesome ladies and gentlemen.

[Michael Cole]
I can't argue you with you there, we're no strangers to Evan's ability, and it's earned him quite the impressive resume here.

[King]
Don't you mean Matt Sydal?

[Michael Cole]
Speaking of which, what do you make of this name change?


[JBL]
He's absolutely right, it shouldn't matter what he calls himself, if he wants to say he's now Matt Sydal, then you do your job and call him Matt Sydal. He's still the same man that to this day is the longest reigning World Heavyweight Champion in XWL history!



Taking his sweet time, Sydal finally emerges out from the back, wearing a sharp jacket that we notice has a microphone sticking out of it. Matt rubs both hands together, does a few running jumps in place, and then with a smirk we wish we could slap off his face, he throws up two peace signs. He looks around before lowering his arms, and taking out the mic that was in his pocket.

[Matt Sydal]

Ehem...


Matt gives the guy in the back the signal, and his music cuts off.

[Matt Sydal]

Roddy, welcome back buddy...think you'll be sticking around a little longer this time? What is it, the second, third, fourth...fifth time you've walked through these doors? Promising all these things...and then in true Roderick Strong fashion, never delivering, not even once. But hey, the past is the past, right? I'm sure your hearts really in it for the long haul this time, maybe you'll even last a WHOLE SIX MONTHS! Wouldn't that be special?



The audience doesn't take too kindly to Matt's mocking of Roderick, booing in response which Sydal simply laughs off.  

[Matt Sydal]

But who am I kidding, you'll be gone within the next month. Because people like you, you quit...you walk in here like you're hot stuff, and then what happens? You fizzle out, while stars like me...we rise. You put wrestling on the map? You? Seriously? Pretty sure that was me back when I won the United States, Intercontinental, and World Heavyweight Championships within my first year! But this isn't about me, this is about you, and the fact that all you are is one never ending disappointment. The fact that this company has given you so many chances, and the result is always the same...really makes this easy for me.


Pointing down to the mat showing that he has heard enough of Sydal's trash talk. He wants to get straight into the action and is being halted by words when wrestling is where he stands out. To his dissatisfaction Matt decides to be a motor mouth once more  

[Matt Sydal]

Matt Sydal does not do mediocre, Matt Sydal does not associate himself with pathetic excuses of wrestling scum....you're nothing more than a meaningless win to me. You're not a victory worth having, as a matter of fact...this whole conversation isn't even worth my time. I know you really want this whole wrestling thing to work, but sometimes you just gotta face facts, there's guys like you...who in four years, has accomplished absolutely nothing...and then there's guys like me, who in one year, let alone five...has accomplished absolutely...EVERYTHING! Don't it take personal, but this whole match thing? Yeah, I'm gonna pass, but keep your chin up kiddo, maybe one day you'll worthy of being beaten by me.



[Michael Cole]
Is Matt Sydal seriously saying that facing Roderick Strong tonight would be a waste of his time?

[JBL]
Look, say what you wanna say, but Matt Sydal is one of the greatest superstars to ever set foot in XWL. That's not an opinion, that's backed up by facts, facts that list him as the first man to capture both The Intercontinental, and The United States Championships at the same time. If he doesn't think Roderick Strong is worth his time, then guess what, he's probably right.

[Michael Cole]
How would he even know?

[JBL]
Because Michael, when you know, you just know.



Roderick placing his hand through the 2nd rope and dropping the mic onto the lining of the apron. He's had enough of the poking and prodding and eggs Sydal into the ring.


[King]
Well wait, look Matt's still there maybe he's rethinking his decision?

[JBL]
Oh come on King, he said it plain as day, Roderick Strong is not worthy of being defeated by the likes of Matt Sydal.

[Michael Cole]
Although perhaps Roderick's persistence will sway his decision?



Sydal wants no part of it and decides to trot to the back. Roderick placing both of his hands on his hips disappointed scratching the back of his head before exiting as well with a careless grin.


[JBL]
See! Now here's what Roderick Strong needs to do, trying to compete against Matt Sydal is aiming too high, aim a little lower and maybe one day, just like Matt said, he'll be worthy.

[Michael Cole]
I just, I don't even know what to say. It's the first night back, how can someone not want to make an impact in their return by showing what they're made of?

[JBL]
In what world does Matt Sydal need to show what he's made of?

[King]
But it's supposed to be the start of a new era, JBL. No one can deny Matt Sydal is a very talented man, the proof is in all of his accomplishments. But tonight was a new beginning for him, and all of the XWL talent, all anyone will remember is that he chose to walk, instead of fight.


[Michael Cole]
I couldn't have said it any better, well ladies and gentlemen, we're sorry that you won't be seeing Matt Sydal compete against Roderick Strong tonight, but rest assured there's a lot more exciting matches to come, so we'll be right back with more, ANARCHY!

*late into the match because I got lazy*

Rayne holds Charlotte in a headlock on the mat, wrenching on it and screaming at her. "Come on Flair! Make daddy proud!" Rayne laughs at herself as Charlotte struggles to get some leverage. After a lot of slow movement, Charlotte begins to climb to her feet. Once reaching them, she throws an elbow, hitting Rayne in the side. Rayne's grip loosens. Charlotte does it again, getting free. She throws a punch at Rayne's face, causing Rayne to stagger backwards.

Charlotte turns to the ropes, taking off. On the backswing she clotheslines Maddy, dropping her to the mat. Maddy pops back up, just to eat another one. Maddy pops up again, getting tossed into the corner. Charlotte takes off, ramming into her, causing Rayne to drop down to a seated position. Charlotte backs up and "woos" to the crowd, then takes off and knees Rayne into the face. Charlotte looks around, feeling the energy now. She backs up across the ring, right into the corner.

Charlotte stands in the corner, waving her hand, waiting for Madison to reach her feet. Rayne slowly stands, turning around to Charlotte who takes off. Rayne side steps her as Charlotte spears her own shoulder into the turnbuckle post. Rayne drops down, grabbing Charlotte from between her legs and rolling her up into a school boy. The ref drops, looking at the shoulders as Rayne throws her feet up on the ropes for leverage. The ref begins to count 1, 2, 3! Rayne jumps off as the crowd goes crazy with boos. Rayne seems to have just won the world title as she makes the ref raise her hand and dip out of the ring before Charlotte can do anything about it.




Winner:

We see Cesaro in his locker room.

Antonio Cesaro: Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Antonio Cesaro, and I'm a real American. It just so happens that, before I make my in-ring debut,  I would like to say that I've went out and found another real American to be with me; we are the true Americans, ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, my buddy, Kurt Angle.

Kurt peeks his head around the corner.

Kurt Angle: Hey.

Cesaro greets him.

Antonio Cesaro: Hey, Kurt. How are you? Are you excited to be representing this great country of America, the land of the free and the land of the brave?

Angle responds as he strolls over.

Kurt Angle: One question at a time please.

Antonio Cesaro: Well, are you happen to be here Kurt?

Cesaro's tongue must have slipped and Angle capitalizes.

Kurt Angle: I do happen to be here. Anyways, while I'd love to keep our fun little interview going, I have something to say. Are you ready?

Antonio Cesaro: I'm ready to fight and debut, so to answer your question, yeah. I'm ready, Kurt.

Angle and Cesaro fail to be on the same page, but that's okay because neither man needs to fight until Cesaro's upcoming match.

Kurt Angle: I meant are you ready to hear what I had to say, but you know, when you put it that way, I don't know that I could have done much better myself. You summed that up real nicely. Do you agree?

Antonio Cesaro: Well, it depends on what you mean. I don't want to make you feel angry by saying something different than what you meant.

Cesaro is oddly apologetic and Angle consoles him.

Kurt Angle: I meant, "do you agree?" It's okay big guy; we all make mistakes. Just don't make any in the ring or that other son of a bitch will make you tap. You following me?

Antonio Cesaro: Yes, I understand what you're saying Kurt, and I'll make these boys in the back suffer from the pain I dish out. Back to you, Kurt.

Kurt Angle: I like the sound of that--we're like news reporters. Hey, back to you, Tony.

Cesaro rolls with the back-and-forth with ease.

Antonio Cesaro: Well, here is the forecast: a real American storm. It's going to be worse than a tornado or hurricane

Kurt Angle: Oh, it's true. It's damn true... Hey, want to know a secret?

The mood transitions to a bit of austere.

Antonio Cesaro: Yeah, I want to hear a secret, Kurt, go ahead.

Kurt Angle: Well, I spent some time during XWL's break in Taiwan. And do you know what happened in Taiwan?

What?

Kurt Angle: I'll tell you what happened in Taiwan.

Cool.

Kurt Angle: A wise buddhist monk told me an ancient proverb of the man with three eyes. And do you know what each eye signified?

Antonio Cesaro: Tell us, Kurt.

Kurt Angle: Intensity, Integrity, and Intelligence. I bet you thought I was talking about a cyclops or some shit.

He played us for a fool.

Antonio Cesaro: You're right, Kurt. We were thinking of a cyclops or a three eyed monster.

Cesaro seems to agree.

Kurt Angle: Oh, I'm always right. And do you know why? Because I believe in intensity, integrity, and intelligence... but that reminds me, Mr. Antonio. If we're to be true best friends and business partners, shouldn't we have, you know, something we say? Something to close out our... you know, this sort of thing?

Antonio Cesaro: Something like this: we're the true Americans. It's real, it's damn real.

Nahhhhh, not feeling it.

Kurt Angle: I was thinking we come up with something new, something refreshing. Something like... "and that's the bottom line, 'cuz Antonio said so." How does that sound?

Antonio Cesaro: I like that saying, Mr. Angle

Kurt Angle: Well, you shouldn't! That's Stone Cold's saying; come on, we aren't thieves! We have to come up with our own saying!

Antonio Cesaro: I agree with you, Kurt.

There he goes again, agreeing

Kurt Angle: Stop agreeing with me!

Antonio Cesaro: I was really thinking our catch phase could be, "we are one."

Kurt Angle: Yeah, but we couldn't just lie to people like that. We are two. Me + you. That's two. We are two.

Angle is clearly half-serious, half not-so-serious, but Cesaro supports his point regardless.

Antonio Cesaro: What I mean by one is that we both represent the wonderful country, the United States of America.

Kurt Angle: I see what you did there. How about we change it a little then. We'll say, "We are one-der-full." Because we are pretty damn wonderful.

Antonio Cesaro: I think we should worry about the team name a little bit later

Kurt Angle: I know. Right after we finish worrying about our catchphrase, we'll worry about our team name.

Antonio Cesaro: We've got plenty of time to worry about all of that.

I never realized Cesaro was a level one procrastinator.

Kurt Angle: Oh. Then what should we worry about right now? I'm a pretty big worrier, you know. I'm old.

Antonio Cesaro: I don't know, do you?

Angle hurriedly checks his watch.

Kurt Angle: And that's all the time we have for today, folks. Stay tuned for next week: what will Antonio have to say then? What is the next step for this new dynamic yet nameless duo of Kurt Angle and  Antonio Cesaro? And finally, will Kurt Angle's hair grow back? The camera clicks off abruptly.

Anarchy returns from commercial break, coming to the announcer's table where King, Cole and JBL all sit, smiling at the camera. Cole takes the lead, as usual.

[Michael Cole]
Hello and welcome back to XWL!: Anarchy! What an amazing night we've had thus far with Layla kicking off the show with a huge announcement!

[JBL]
Don't forget the number of returning faces such as Matt Sydal, Kurt Angle, Madison Rayne, Bayley and so many others.

[Jerry Lawler]
And the new faces too! Gorgeous new women and intense new superstars!

[Michael Cole]
Speaking of returning faces, over the past several weeks on YouTube, a series has been posted regarding former XWL superstar, Eric Young. These clips involved his home life and even his own mother, all in an attempt to see why Eric left XWL when he did. With no answer, the clips stopped as XWL came back on the air. Now, allow me to take you through several clips taken throughout tonight's broadcast.

Cole, JBL and King all stare at the camera with solemn faces as the camera fades out. It comes back in to reveal a parking garage area. The camera appears to be hidden, able to see but unable to be seen as a truck rolls into the parking garage. It pulls into a parking space and pauses before being put into park. A few moments pass again and the door opens, a figure stepping out, unable to be seen as the camera only shows the passenger tail end of the truck.

The door slams as the figure walks out revealing himself to be Eric Young. Young fumbles around in the back of his truck for a moment, grabbing a bag. He tosses it over his shoulder and then takes off in what would appear to be the direction of the arena entrance. Then, the screen changes.

We come to find ourselves in a hallway, looking at door which has been left cracked open. Inside, sat on the bench in front of a locker appears to be Young. He stares down at his phone, flipping through it slowly, seeming set on it. The camera inches closer, causing the door to creak slightly. Eric looks up, and sighs. He moves to the door, coming closer to the camera. Before anything can be said, Eric slams the door closed tight, shutting off the vision of the camera.

It comes back to life in a hallway again. This one, however appears to be full of people. Backstage workers and what not, all busy and bustling around. Coming down the middle of all the chaos is a solemn looking Eric Young. He stares down at his phone, not looking up to people as they say, "Hey, Eric!" Eric makes it closer to the camera as the man behind it goes, "Eric! I didn't know you signed to come back! What made you-" and before he can finish, Young pushed past him, bumping into him and not looking up. Without an apology, as Eric would normally have done, Young carries on, walking through the back, head looking down the entire way. The camera fades back to ringside.

We come to find Cole and the team sat there once again.

[Michael Cole]
Now, word of Eric Young signing back with XWL is still a mystery but one thing is in fact for certain and that he is here tonight.

[Jerry Lawler]
I don't know what's the matter with him but I sure do hope he gets better. I miss the fun loving Eric Young!

[JBL]
I don't. He's much better quiet.

[Michael Cole]
Besides JBL, I'm sure the entire XWL Universe wants to see the fun loving Eric back. So if you hear this Eric, we hope you begin to feel better!

With that, the screen fades, moving to another part of the arena.

[JBL]
Aw, this is just great!

[Jerry Lawler]
It's the Showoff! And where Dolph Ziggler is bound to show up, so is Summer Rae! Woo-hoo!

[JBL]
Aw god, shut up, King! This guy needs to go back to the eighties where he apparently belongs, judging by his stupid fashion sense!

After a few moments however, Dolph has yet to appear on the stage! The fans wonder in confusion before suddenly...



Dolph's entrance video plays again to the delight of this Houston crowd! However, once again, after another long minute of anticipation, Ziggler has yet to appear.

[Michael Cole]
Maybe he took your insults about his fashion sense to heart, John?

[JBL]
Ha! Maybe he got cold feet, Michael! Ha-ha!

[Jerry Lawler]
Maybe he and Summer forgot their cue?

However, the tron cuts out from Dolph's entrance video, and the regular Anarchy logo is displayed for the crowd who begin to boo. The camera then returns to the announcing trio at their desk.

[Michael Cole]
...The hell is going on here tonight?

[JBL]
I don't know, but as long as Dolph Ziggler ain't involved, I love it, Michael!

Bradshaw continues to guffaw to himself, as XWL Anarchy rolls on...

As Anarchy returns from a commercial break the cameras are focused on the commentary team as they start the run down some of the matches still to be seen later tonight

Michael Cole
We are back live with the return episode of XWL Anarchy, and it's certainly been a great night so far and we're not done yet. We've still got some huge matches to come.

The camera cuts to a graphic for the Lesnar vs Ryback match coming later on

Jerry "The King" Lawler
You can say that again, what about that huge Steel Cage match, Brock Lesnar vs Ryback! I can't wait for that one. Can you imagine what's going to happen when you lock those two inside a Steel Cage?

John "Bradshaw" Layfield
I've been in my fair share of Cage matches, and I'm sure Jerry has too, and let me tell you these kind of matches are ones you're feeling the effects of for days even weeks afterwards, but I've never been locked inside with a someone like Brock Lesnar or Ryback, and I wouldn't want to be.

As the subject changes to the next match the graphic changes to Eric Young and AJ Styles

Michael Cole
And what about the rematch from Uprising? Eric Young takes on the Phenomenal One AJ Styles in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

John "Bradshaw" Layfield
That's going to be a great match, that's for sure, and with any thing goes, who knows what will happen?

As the graphic on the screen changes to CM Punk the crowd cheer for their returning hero and champion CM Punk

Michael Cole
And then there's still the return of the Best in the World, CM Punk!

Jerry "The King" Lawler
It's been a long time since we last saw the XWL Champion, and I'm sure Punk and Paul Heyman will have a whole lot to say.

John "Bradshaw" Layfield
That's why they call it a Pipebomb. Those two will say whatever they want, and these people in Houston can't wait!

Michael Cole
And how about some Divas action?

Then as the commentators finish taking about CM Punk the graphic changes to the Diva's triple threat match between Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Natalya

Jerry "The King" Lawler
I love watching the Divas, Cole.

Michael Cole
I know you do King, and coming up in a little whole, we've got a Triple Threat Divas match with Natalya, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch! And right now we've got our colleague Jojo backstage with The Boss Sasha Banks.

The cameras cut to backstage where interviewer Jojo is stood by with the Boss Sasha Banks as she's preparing for her match tonight on Anarchy



Jojo
Sasha, it's a huge night here in XWL, and considering what happened at the very start of the show, surely now there's a big pressure to make an statement in your match tonight?


As Jojo asks her opening question Sasha looks at her in disgust, as if Jojo has insulted her, as she fervidly answers back

Sasha Banks
A statement? You're asking me if I think I need to make a statement, Jojo? Don't you know who I am? I'm the Boss of XWL, I don't need to go out of my way to make an statement, I just do it. Now as for what happened earlier with Bayley? Boo freaking hoo. What am I supposed to have sympathy for her or for all the little girls that looked up to her? Because I don't, Bayley's little fairytale was cut short with a harsh dose of reality, and it couldn't have happened at a better time. Do you expect me to fight her battles? I'm not going to do that, because as far as I'm concerned all that means is there's just one Diva to beat to get where I want to be.

Jojo
And that starts tonight?

As Jojo asks another question, Sasha looks at her before snappily retorting as if she didn't really understand the question



Sasha Banks
Tonight?

Jojo is a little surprised at Sasha's blunt response as she expands her question

Jojo
When you face Natalya and Becky Lynch in a Triple Threat match?

Sasha looks at Jojo as she waits for her to finish the question, but as Jojo does expand, Sasha is forced to interject

Sasha Banks
What's the question? I don't get it, what are you trying to ask me, Jojo?

Jojo, not seeming too sure at the mix up reluctantly rephrases her question

Jojo
My question is that...

Before she get spit the question out Sasha interrupts her as she tries to hurry the process along



Sasha Banks
Is what exactly? I don't have all today Jojo, I have a match to get ready for. So hurry up already.

Waiting for the question to come Sasha stares right at Jojo, clearly annoyed that she's taking up her time

Jojo
I was just wondering what your thoughts were going into your match tonight.

Still unimpressed at the question Sasha doesn't answer as she continues to stare down at Jojo, then after a few seconds Jojo tries to ask the question again

Jojo
You just said that Bayley was just one less person to beat, so do you see Becky Lynch and Natalya as stepping stones towards becoming Divas champion?

As she finally asks her question Sasha huffs as she leans over Jojo trying to intimidate her as she answers her



Sasha Banks
That's your question? Jojo, tell me, what do you see when you look at me?

Sasha stares at Jojo as she waits for her answer, but she just stands there without answering

Jojo
...

Sasha Banks
I'm sorry Jojo, but I didn't quite hear that.

Sasha continues to look right at Jojo, completely unimpressed by her hesitance, waiting for her to answer for question

Jojo
.. I don't know.

Banks' whilst still starring at Jojo, comes back at her clearly not happy with the constantly unsure questioning



Sasha Banks
You don't know? That's kind of the problem isn't it? Nobody ever looks at me, and see's what they should see, they just see a hundred and ten pound little girl that will break in half the moment you touch her, they think I'm ratchet. But they couldn't be more wrong, I might be small, but I'm still the baddest Diva in XWL, and nobody can take that away from me. And after tonight everyone that watches won't be thinking those things about me, I'm the best female this company has ever seen, just ask Becky and Natalya later tonight and they'll tell you that themselves. Tonight's the night Sasha Banks arrives in XWL, and if you think for even a second that I'm happy to leave it at that then you couldn't be more wrong. This division... That title is up for grabs, and there isn't anybody more fit to be a champion than me.

Sasha pauses for a brief moment as she recollects her thought process as she continues to address Jojo

Sasha Banks
Fourteen months ago, Bayley realized her dream, and every little girl was so excited and then the entire division died. And tonight XWL and the Divas Division is reborn, and that championship deserves to be held be someone who can live up to the standards of what a champion should be, and now that I'm here, that's exactly what's going to happen.  I'm here to change what people think makes a champion, and I'm going to do it, like a boss.

With nothing left to say Sasha Banks' takes the glasses from atop of her head and puts them on, and walks away from Jojo bringing the interview to an end



With Sasha Banks gone, Jojo stands there by herself for a few seconds before the cameras fade out to black ending the segment

Not a moment spared Becky has Sasha hoisted above her chest with all her might, Sasha slips off behind her and hits a vicious neckbreaker causing the two to collapse. Natalya crawling feeling the after effects from the dropkick that caused her to damage her chin off the canvas.

All 3 of the women are down at this point, this match so far has been wearing and tearing on each of their bodies. Sasha fights to her feet first, stumbling over to Natalya to perhaps finally end this and pick up one hell of a first win. But as she pulls Nattie up by her hair, Natalya pushes up with both hands sending Sasha flying over head and crashing down with a back body drop. Sasha nearly collided with the turnbuckle but thankfully do to some nifty maneuvering during the move she didn't land as hard as she could have and finds her way back up. Natalya turns around, catches Sasha with a kick to the gut, attempts to hook both arms for a double underhook suplex but Sasha grabs onto the ropes, refusing to let go. That's when Becky gets back into the mix by sneaking up on Natalya and dropping her with a back suplex.

Sasha using the ropes to keep herself balanced, wipes her hair out of her face with a condescending smirk. Without warning Becky nails her with a huge dropkick that sends her chest and throat into the top rope. With the vibration causing her to grab even tighter for her own security in this match. Lynch getting visibly frustrated gets a handful of Banks hair and pulls backwards with her causing Sasha to lose her footing and traction. With a lot of wiggling and trying to make her way out of the tight grip that Becky has applied. Becky makes sure to put an end to that with slamming the back of Sasha's head off the canvas.

Sasha with her mouth wide open almost losing all conciousness, bounces up so hard that she stumbles right into the direction of Becky. Natayla with her arm on her back looks up to notice Lynch aiming to end it. Becky grabbing the arm of Banks and twisting with her back turned, bending it unceremoniously.

Sasha suddenly wakes up but it is too late, Becky lowers Sasha down and there is nothing more that can be done for poor Sasha. Sasha waving her free arm in front of Natalya for some assistance, trying to roll herself out of this painful position that her arm is placed in. Natayla getting a second breath of life, with her back still in a large amount of pain. Grimacing and where she was before, crawling to Becky and Sasha.

Becky sees this and arches up Sasha's arm even higher after each movement Natayla makes. I WILL BREAK IT IF YOU COME ANY CLOSER SHE MUTTERS TO NATTIE. Natayla doesn't believe her, and Sasha out of fear taps out frantically on the mat.










After the definitive victory, the bell is rung and these three have laid it all out on the line in this ONE match. After the others take their leave and head up the loser trail Becky Lynch is slapping her wrist wanting the ref to show who had risen above The Boss and The Daughter Of Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. No longer will she wait until others turn heads, on her own accord she'll make them. Pointing to her waist where the gold would fit ever so greatly.


JBL: This is her moment and it's going to be put into position as she isn't going to take any prisoners.

King: I'll say this, after tonight there is one thing for certain. She was battle tested, this wasn't an easy feat.

Cole: Becky overcame adversity and left here tonight with her as the clear winner. I wonder what the heads in the back are thinking, can Becky lead this next generation?

Becky prompts the ref raise her arm again signifying that it won't be the last time you see her arm high in the air. The eyes are on the prize, she's physically proven she's on par. Challengers are going to be knocking on her door, there is only one question left. Who's going to try and take Becky's dream away from her? She is confident there will be a day where the arm is raised crowning her the new Divas champion, that confidence may get her there. Anarchy continues on and we'll see many others get their chance to leave a lasting impression such as Becky Lynch has here tonight.

Steel Cage Match

What do you get when you throw two beasts inside of a cage?
You've got the "Eat. Sleep. Conquer. Repeat" against "Feed. Me. More." with phrases like that, they're not used to be beaten, they're used to tearing through the competition, they're used to never being satisfied, but tonight their blood lust is quenched, when they meet one on one, inside the confines of a Steel Cage. Shield your children's eyes, this one won't be pretty.

Brock Lesnar is just in control here!

Jerry "The King" Lawler
And just look at Heyman on the outside could be be any happier at the sight of this, just barking orders at Lesnar.

Brock grabs Ryback by the head and throws him like a ragdoll into the cage wall, forcing him to crash back down to the mat

This is just methodical by Lesnar, he's taking Ryback apart here and he's enjoying every second of it.

As Ryback struggles to get to his feet Brock grabs him by the waist from behind and with ease lifts Ryback in the air and plants him in the middle of the mat with a huge German Suplex

John "Bradshaw" Layfield
Suplex City!

With Ryback hitting the mat, Heyman on the outside of the cage shouts "That's One", and Brock keeps his grasp in tight and he powers his way back onto his feet, dragging Ryback with him and he hits him with another Suplex, prompting Heyman to shout "That's Two!"

Michael Cole
Have you ever seen a freak of nature like Brock Lesnar? He's just throwing Ryback around like he's a cruiserweight.

Jerry "The King" Lawler
And he's nearly 300 pounds. Ryback doesn't call himself The Big Guy for nothing.

John "Bradshaw" Layfield
He does not, but I don't think Brock cares how big he is, he's going to do whatever he wants, and I don't blame him.

Keeping his hands locked Lesnar forces his way back up and hits Ryback with a third German Suplex and he lets his grip go allowing Ryback to slump on the floor

Paul Heyman
Brock! Put him up! F5!

John "Bradshaw" Layfield
Heyman's calling for the F5, this one could be over already.

Upon Heyman's orders Brock lifts Ryback back to his feet and hoists him on his shoulders looking to put Ryback away with the F5, but before he can, Ryback starts to fight back elbowing Lesnar in the side up the head again and again, eventually forcing Brock to put him back down, and quickly Ryback pushes Brock away then charges at him and hitting a big clothesline sending Lesnar to the mat!

Meathook! Ryback connected with the Meathook clothesline!

You know what's coming next, Ryback could be closing in on a huge victory tonight!

Finish It!

As Ryback declares his intentions the crowd cheer him on, and he lifts Lesnar up and picks up into the air, but Lesnar slides off Ryback's back and hits another German Suplex!

Just when you thought Ryback had him.

Knowing that play time is over Brock goes over to Ryback and picks him back up onto his shoulders and plants The Big Guy with an F5 in the middle of the ring
