*As BreakDown opens we see the referee for the Final Stand main event, Brad Maddox walking backstage just oozing confidence after last week. His cameraman Carson catches up with him for a chat before the show.*

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 ZkNNFOn

[Brad Maddox] Carson my boy! You're looking great my friend, the pit stains are less noticeable this week. So I guess we can call last week a success huh? I told everybody that soon enough Brad Maddox's name is going to be in the lights and we're just mere weeks away from ME headlining Final Stand. The plan is all coming together now, the McMahon's thought they could hold me down but nobody can stop the Bradditude era! Sure Dean vs Ted is a pretty big match but what the people are really going to have their eyes on is that hunk of a referee stealing the show with his dramatic and never seen before referee'ing skills. You know how they call Shawn Michaels Mr. Final Stand? I think that trophy is going to be given to me this year.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 JcnQLRT

[Brad Maddox] I mean the XWL universe already loves me! Have you seen that poll for tonight? The one where the fans decide who is the referee for Ted DiBiase vs Roman Reigns? I'm in the lead right now and not just a regular lead, I'm in the lead by a landslide! Brad Maddox is an icon in the public eye and he's what the people want to see and finally their prayers are being answered and they're getting what they want. I know Stephanie McMahon has to be FURIOUS over the fact that I'm in the main event of her precious show but there's not a single thing she can do about it. When in all honesty she should be thanking me because we both know that Brad Maddox equals ratings and whenever I'm on the screen it's quality TV.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 MAGUD4h

[Brad Maddox] The reason I'm going to make such a great referee is because I don't back down to the face of fear. I've looked men like Mark Henry right in the eyes and not shown any weakness. If Ted, Roman or Dean try to boss me around thinking I'm just a pencil necked geek in a striped shirt they're sadly mistaken. In my extensive referee training with Mr. Earl Hebner he taught me not to back down because no matter how tough they are, I'm in charge of the match and they answer to me. Take that as a warning, guys, I'm not gonna stand back and take any crap. It's time for us referees to band together and show what we're made of! Well, maybe not the other referees, it's just me I guess, the rest of them are just pencil necked geeks in striped shirts.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 QSDKImR

[Brad Maddox] But let's not forget, while I may be forced to wear this ugly t-shirt to the ring, Brad Maddox is a wrestler at heart. I'm still working out as much as possible because we all know after my Final Stand main event everyone's going to want to see me in the ring full time, I've still got the guns, look.

*Brad takes his referee shirt off and throws it to the floor.*

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 OVwFko0

[Brad Maddox] You see my arm going up and up like this right now? That's what I like to call ratings going up, at this very moment girls all over the world are telling their friends to tune in and check out the shirtless handsome awesome guy on TV right now, it's crazy!

*Brad is distracted as he spots XWL Diva Trish Stratus walking past.*

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 UJjxuwi

[Brad Maddox] Hey Trish.. You're Canadian right? I like Maple Syrup too.. maybe later on we can get together and.. oh, she's gone.

[Carson] So.. Do you still wanna interview Roman Reigns about tonight?

[Brad Maddox] Oh yeah! Totally! Let's see if he's around.

*Brad and Carson begin a small search for Roman Reigns as they spot him backstage on his own in an office. Brad and Carson try to keep it low key as they whisper.*

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 QUPKhCq

[Brad Maddox] He's yawning.. he must either be thinking about wrestling Ted DiBiase later tonight or watching a highlight reel of his own promos.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 5HeHCtt

[Brad Maddox] He's eating cereal?! What kind of pre match routine is that?!

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 E0QBDYT

*Suddenly Roman hears Brad as he looks up to see a shirtless Brad Maddox recording him through the blinds. Brad yells "RUN!" as he and Carson run out of view dropping the camera trying to get out of dodge as we fade away to our opening video.*

Breakdown returns and we are brought to the backstage area where we see Paul Heyman and Edge shaking hands to the crowd’s surprise. Edge walks off as Rene Young is shown walking up next to Paul Heyman, Goldberg, The Rock, and Brock Lesnar.

Rene Young
Ladies and gentleman, I’m backstage here with The Heyman Crew. How’s it going Paul?

Paul Heyman
I’m good thank you. And yourself?

Rene Young
Fine thanks. Paul, I’m just going to go ahead and ask it. What happened last week? Why send Brock Lesnar out against your own client, Edge!

The Ryback
Because Paul Heyman doesn’t care about his clients.

The Crew turn around and see The Ryback approaching, still bandaged up from his recent encounters with The Heyman Crew.

Brock Lesnar
Come back to finish what we started two weeks ago? You know I’m still not happy about your arm only being fractured. You got lucky then big guy, but that won’t happen again. Next time…

Brock makes a snapping gesture and noise with his hands.

Paul Heyman
Easy boys.. To what do we owe the pleasure of having you here with us tonight Ryback?

The Ryback
I used to be a contender. I used to be the name on everyone’s minds when they thought about the up and coming stars of the XWL. I had two title shots, I was apart of the greatest stable that this company has ever seen. Life was perfect for me.. Than you came along.. I was forced to join your crew and ever since that day my career has gone downhill. I was put on the sidelines for the likes of Goldberg and Brock Lesnar.

Paul Heyman
The likes of Goldberg and Brock Lesnar?? Who do you think you are Ryback? These two men standing behind me, heck, these three men standing behind me are ten times the superstar that you ever will be. You will never, ever, in your career be as electrifying as The Rock, as dominant as Goldberg, or as dangerous as Brock Lesnar. My clients are and always will be superior to you!! Now this here is a Heyman Crew interview, so spit out what you came here for and get out of our TV Time!!!

The Ryback
Alright, fine. I just came back from the Medical Room, and well, I’m going to be cleared to compete at Final Stand. And I want you Goldberg.

Paul Heyman
Really? You’ve already been defeated by him twice. Going for three in a row?

The Ryback
Very funny. But no. The first time I lost I was forced to join the Heyman Crew and it took Amazing Red defeating Brock Lesnar to get me back where I belonged with the West Side Army. But I’m not going to just sit by and let others fight my fights, after all I’m not a Heyman Guy. I want Goldberg at Final Stand to prove that I can beat him.

Paul Heyman
Well that’s just too bad Ryback. You already had that chance and you lost. Goldberg is going to face someone on his level at Final Stand, someone li-

Goldberg
You’re on.

Paul Heyman
What? Oh come on!! What is with you people and grudges!! First Brock Lesnar with Amazing Red, now you with The Ryback? I mean, sure Don West and I don’t get along but I know that I have nothing to prove, I know that Paul Heyman is the superior manager.

The Ryback
Not in the XWL. Don West is the greatest manager in the history of the XWL! He might not be able to turn water into wine, but he can turn silver into gold!! All that you’re good for is talking about the gold, not being responsible for it’s upbringing.

Paul Heyman
It doesn’t matter who I manage, they will be brought to the top. Just because I choose the best of the best as my clients doesn’t mean that I can’t bring anyone to the top!!

The Ryback
Well than prove it! Tonight Brock Lesnar, The Rock, and Randy Orton are taking on my fellow WSA member Amazing Red, alongside John Cena and Stone Cold!! You’re the manager, prove that you can make even this unlikely pairing into a successful unit tonight. If Brock, Rock, and Orton win tonight than you can choose the stipulations of mine and Goldberg’s Final Stand Match. And if Amazing Red, Stone Cold, and Cena win, than I get to choose. What do you think?

Goldberg says no as Heyman says yes.

Goldberg
I’m not putting the stipulations of my match in the hands of anyone else.

Paul Heyman
You don’t trust me Goldberg? You don’t think I know what’s best for my clients?

The Ryback
Well I don’t blame him. After all it’s clear that you only care what’s best for yourself!! Don West has always stayed loyal to his clients, no matter what defeat or hardship they went through. With you, all it takes is one loss and boom! New client. Prince Devitt, Curtis Axel, Christian, none of them were injured, they were all taken out by you. Who’s next? The Rock? Goldberg? Why don’t you answer Rene’s question huh Paul? Why did you do what you did to Edge?

Goldberg and The Rock look towards Paul, also wondering the same question as Lesnar just smirks.

Paul Heyman
Edge was the Master Manipulator, the Ultimate Opportunist. He was supposed to bring something to the table that no one else could bring, like Brock, Rock, and Goldberg all do. But he didn’t follow through, heck, he couldn’t even defeat JTG!! So when I was given the opportunity to substitute him for Brock Lesnar? Are you kidding me? Of course I took it. Putting Brock Lesnar in any match is a guaranteed victory. You saw Edge shaking my hand earlier, even he understood. Was he bitter? Of course? Bitter enough to try to get revenge? Of course not. Edge is smart, he knows that picking a fight with The Heyman Crew is picking a fight that you’re going to lose.

Rene Young
Is Edge still your client?

Paul Heyman
No he is not. From now on The Heyman Crew only accepts the best of the best. Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, The Rock. They are the best.

The Ryback
No. There can’t be three best’s. Clearly you think that Brock Lesnar is the best, otherwise you would have picked Goldberg or The Rock as Edge’s opponent last week.

Brock smirks as the other two clients angrily look at Paul as they realize what The Ryback said to be true.

Paul Heyman
I see what you’re trying to do. And it’s not going to work!! You want a match at Final Stand Ryback!! Well you’ve got it! I’m going to enjoy watching Goldberg shut that mouth of yours once and for all!! And tonight, when my team goes on to defeat Amazing Red’s, then we will be able to pick the stipulations of your match, and you won’t like it!!

The Ryback
So we’ve got a deal?

Paul Heyman
We have!

The Ryback
Good. Now if you’ll excuse me I have an AJ Lee fansite to go work on.

And with that The Ryback walks off.

Paul Heyman
Did he just say… nevermind… Rocky, Brock, tonight is a big night for you, the fate of Goldberg lays in your hands!!

Paul pats Goldberg on the back, but the monster just glares and walks off.

Paul Heyman
What? Was it something I said?

The Rock shakes his head and walks off as well.

Paul Heyman
Oh come on!!

Brock Lesnar
Forget them, we don’t need them anyways! Hell I can defeat those three punks with a hand tied behind my back all on my own!!

Rene Young
Paul, I was wondering what you-

Paul Heyman
This interview is over. Let’s go Brock, we have plans to make!!

And with that Brock and Paul walk off.

Six Man Tag Team Match
 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 FFROr7T XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 6QEv4KI

-Jim Ross-
Here we go folks, the entrances have already been made, the commercial breaks are over and this highly-anticipated six-man tag match is moments away from beginning.

-Michael Cole-
The only people looking forward to this match are the sorry saps who really think that the Paul Heyman Guys don’t have this in the bag.

-Jerry Lawler-
And at least those people realize that the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena and Amazing Red are more than capable of holding their own.

-Jim Ross-
Under ordinary circumstances I’d agree with you one-hundred percent, King. But I feel that the stipulation that Stephanie McMahon added to this match, where if Amazing Red gets the pin, Don West will be reinstated in the company.

-Michael Cole-
What a great woman Stephanie McMahon is throwing poor Red a bone like that to make him feel a little good about himself.

-Jerry Lawler-
Well, it looks like Stone Cold and Randy Orton and set to start this match off so I guess it’ll take a little time to see what effect that stipulation has on the match.

The bell rings the crowd is buzzing at the sight of these two superstars being moments away from beating the stuff out of each other. They take a couple of steps forward until they’re chest to chest, and Austin wastes absolutely no time getting some trash-talk going. Not one to be spoken like that Orton starts jawing off himself until the Texas Rattlesnake shuts him up with a stinging slap across the face. The fury is clear as a cloudless sky in Orton’s cold eyes but his anger merely amuses Stone Cold who chuckles before slightly bending over and sticking out his chin inviting Orton to take a free swing.

-Jim Ross-
Some good old-fashioned mind-games being played by Austin.

-Michael Cole-
Emphasis on old, clearly.

Orton doesn’t hesitate throwing a punch but it’s blocked by Austin who then floors Orton with a stiff right hand of his own. Orton quickly springs back up to his feet and charges at Austin who sidesteps him sending Orton racing towards the opposite end of the ring. Austin telegraphs his back body drop attempt, and Orton grabs him in a front facelock and from that position he attempts to get onto the apron so that he can deliver his signature spike DDT. Austin is hanging from the middle rope by his two feet until Cena comes to his aid by knocking them off. Before Orton can try for plan-b, Austin straightens himself up causing Orton to take a tumble over the top rope and out of the ring. Austin tags in Cena who hops off the apron to grab Orton who slyly pokes Cena in the eyes then drives him backwards into the stiff apron.

-Michael Cole-
Atta boy, Orton! Use every part of that ring!

While the fans in attendance break into a chorus of boos, Orton rolls Cena into the ring and goes for a pin though he barely even gets a one-count. Orton quickly puts Cena in a side headlock when he sits up, doing his best to keep the stronger man grounded. It’s a plan much easier said than executed as Cena slowly but surely fights his way back up to his feet with Orton still holding on to him. Cena backs into the ropes then tries to push Orton off him though Orton manages to keep his grip and uses his leverage to force Cena back to the ground. On the apron Austin begins stomping on the steel stairs and soon the people begin clapping along, allowing Cena to feed off their energy in the hopes that he can turn the situation around.

Once again Cena is able to fight his way back up to a standing base then simply overpowers Orton by lifting into the air then planting him onto the mat with a back suplex. Cena gets up, races over to the ropes and eats a knee to the lower back courtesy off The Rock and that allows Orton to leap into the air and nail Cena with a beautiful dropkick. Orton quickly goes for the pin and just barely gets a two-count before Cena’s arm shoots into the air. As Cena gets up, Orton again goes for a side headlock but Cena reacts quickly this time and sends Orton running towards the otherside of the ring and when he comes racing back Cena jumps up and hits a shoulder block. Cena gets a running start and takes Orton down with a second jumping shoulder block. Orton gets up and throws a wild punch that Cena ducks under and it looks like he’s going for his signature powerbomb, but Orton rolls backwards and lands on his feet behind Cena then staggers backwards into his corner.

-Jim Ross-
These two have gone to war so many times that you just know Orton realized he was in some big trouble.

-Michael Cole-
Oh please, you see one John Cena match you’ve seen them all.

Cena backs away and beckons Orton over so they can keep the fight going, but it would appear Orton is ready to take a breather as he tags in The Rock and the boos of complete disdain and utter hatred for the so-called “people’s champion” are damn near deafening. The Rock pays them no mind, he doesn’t need them, he’s never needed them, he’s got his boys in his corner and whether or not these people chant his name, that’s not going to stop him from tasting success in XWL again. Cena and Rock stare each other down, their history and bitter wars in the past doing all the speaking for them. They begin circling each other in the center of the ring when suddenly Brock Lesnar charges into the ring and takes Cena down with a clothesline!

Red and Austin try to get into the ring to get retribution in Cena’s honor, but their efforts are in vain as the ref rushes over to that side of the ring to keep the two angry men at bay. While the official is distracted, Rock goes to town on Cena, stomping him viciously several times and when The Ref turns around Rock drops down and goes for a cover. He just gets a two-count as Cena kicks out, but Rock presses his luck by pinning Cena’s head to the mat with his forearm and trying for a pin but again the three-count eludes him. Rock pulls Cena to his feet and shoots him across the ring with an irish whip. When Cena comes racing back Rock hoists him onto his shoulders looking for a samoan drop, or perhaps even an Attitude Adjustment!

Cena fights out of it with several elbows to the side of the head until he’s able to wiggle out of Rock’s grasp then he goes for the Rock Bottom! This time it’s Rock who’s throwing sharp elbows to the side of the head until Cena abandons his game plan. Rock then kicks Cena in the gut and goes for a DDT, but Cena uses his immense strength to lift Rock into the air then drop him gut first onto the top-rope. He bounces off the ropes giving the knee he delivers to the side of a dangling Rock’s a little more impact. The most electrifying man in sports entertainment falls to the mat and Cena uses the opportunity to go for his first pin of the match but only gets a count of two before The Rock kicks out.

-Jerry Lawler-
Man, so close but it’s going to take a little more than that to keep The Rock down and you can see it in his eyes that Cena is well aware of that fact.

Cena pulls Rock to his feet and eats a couple of shots to the ribs for his troubles. Cena staggers back into the ropes while Rock dashes towards the opposite side of the ring. Cena charges forward too and the same thought crosses both men’s minds at the same time and they take each other out with a clothesline! The people breakout in a ferocious dueling chant of “Let’s go, Cena!” and “Rocky sucks!” as both men crawl desperately towards their respective corners. Rock manages to get to his corner first and tags in Brock Lesnar!

Lesnar enters the ring and quickly makes a beeline towards Amazing Red knocking him off the apron just before Cena could tag him into the match. Lesnar goes for Austin too, but The Rattlesnakke saw him coming and cold-cocks Lesnar with a vicious punch to the face! Angrily, Lesnar charges to get his revenge on Austin but is intercepted by Cena who lifts him onto his shoulders and hits the Attitude Adjustment! The crowd pops, but Cena is unable to capitalize on the big maneuver as he collapses to the ground in exhaustion. While Cena ordinarily gets some of the loudest mixed reactions out of anyone else in XWL, the stakes are too high in ths match and the people are all in his corner.

Cena looks up and sees Austin on the apron begging to be tagged back into the match then begins dragging himself over to his tag partner. With his last bit of energy, Cena lunges at Austin and makes the tag just as Red gets back onto the apron and you can see the frustration and anxiety in his eyes and not being tagged into the match. He instead watches as Austin gets into the ring and jumps onto a rising Lesnar with the Lou Thesz press! He’s really laying it on Lesnar with a serious of big punches but stops when he sees Orton get into the ring. The Rattlesnake takes down The Viper with a clothesline and gives Rock the same treatment when he tries to get involved.

-Jim Ross-
Look at him go! He’s a man on a mission!

-Michael Cole-
Why hasn’t he been disqualified for all these cheap shots? I can’t believe what I’ve been seeing.

-Jerry Lawler-
All’s fair and love in war, Cole, though I don’t think there’s a lot of love in that ring right now.

There is a lot of energy in the ring as the adrenaline pumps through Stone Cold’s Steve Austin’s veins. He turns around and flips off a rising Lesnar in the gut, then turns and goes for the stunner but gets shoved off and is sent running towards the ropes. Austin hangs onto the ropes and when Lesnar runs at him, the wily veteran tugs down on the bottom rope sending someone flying out of the ring for the second time in the match. Stone Cold sits up and chuckles at the way he pulled a fast one on the beast incarnate and is just about to stand but then quickly drops back down to the ground when Amazing Red goes flying over him and over the top rope and lands right on Lesnar outside the ring!

The crowd breaks out into a chant of Red’s name as he races back over to his team’s corner and gets onto the apron. The desperation to get into the match is obvious as he reaches into the ring as far as he can. Stone Cold looks at Lesnar lying in a heap on the outside and then over at Red, bouncing up and down on the apron. The chants of “Red! Red! Red!” have increased exponentially in their intensity as the fans in attendance all know that this may be the only chance Red has to get Don West back into XWL. Stone Cold looks at all the fans, then rolls under the bottom rope to go after Lesnar himself, restarting The Ref’s 10-count in the process. He then decides to give them what they want by walking over and tagging Red into the match!

-Michael Cole-
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Red jumps over the top rope and it looks like he’s going for his second dive onto Lesnar outside of the ring but is forced to call an audible on that plan when Rock enters the ring and tries to catch the speed-demon off-guard with a clothesline. However, Red ducks under, jumps onto the top rope then backflips over The Rock! Rocky turns around and goes for a punch but Red kicks his hand away spins around and nails the former World Champion with his signature kick to the side of the head! Rocky drops to the ground and rolls out of the ring where Lesnar is! Red bounces on his feet, then charges over to the opposite side of the ring to gather momentum and he doesn’t see Orton coming at all as The Viper hits a vicious spinning powerslam!

Orton gets up and looks poised to hit an RKO, but Cena finishes what he started earlier by getting into the ring, grabbing Orton from behind and hitting the side powerbomb! Red rolls out of the ring restarting The-Ref’s 10-count who is slowly losing all control of the match. Cena pops back up to his feet and has his right hand raised high in the air signaling to the world what’s about to come next. He leans over Orton so that he can wave his hand back and forth in front of his face. Meanwhile on the outside, The Rock pulls Austin’s legs out from under him and The Texan hits his head hard on the apron before dropping to the outside. Cena then prepares to his the five knuckle shuffle by running over to the ropes, but is hit with a spinebuster courtesy of The Rock!

Rock gets to his feet and slowly walks over to Cena’s head and kicks his arm closer to his body. With the boos raining down, Rock slowly peels his right elbow pad off, but instead of throwing it to the fans, he casually drops it onto Cena’s chest. He runs over to the ropes, moments away from hitting Cena with The People’s Elbow, but stops running when Amazing Red springboards off the top rope and lands on Rock’s shoulder with a hurricanrana. The momentum of the move causes Rock to land forward onto the middle rope in prime position for the tiger feint kick. Now it’s Red who turns to run over to the ropes in a set up for the 718, but out of nowhere Lesnar emerges in the match and now has Red in position for the F5!

Suddenly, Stone Cold spins Lesnar around, kicks him in the gut and hits the Stunner on Lesnar who still had Red on his shoulders! Austin gets right in Lesnar’s face and begins talking a whole heap of trash then he stands up and… gets driven into the mat with an RKO! All six men are down in and out and around the ring, the scene of carnage and devastation being painted vividly for the people tonight. The people are on their feet, applauding and chanting just how awesome they thought that exchange was.

-Jim Ross-
For the love of God, the men are putting it all on the line here tonight!

-Michael Cole-
But did you notice which team got the last laugh there? That says it all right as far as I’m concerned.

-Jerry Lawler-
Well as far as I’m concerned, the team who wins will be the team who gets the last laugh.

-Jim Ross-
And we can’t forget that Amazing Red and Brock Lesnar are the two legal men in the match right now and of the two Red is the only one moving.

Red is indeed crawling over to Lesnar, who’s still reeling from the effects of the stunner, and after what feels like forever he’s finally able to drape his arm across Lesnar’s chest and gets the three! No! Lesnar gets his foot on the bottom rope at the last possible second! Red sits up and puts his hands on his head and just how close he was to getting West his job back. With what energy he has left he drags Lesnar into the middle of the ring and tries for the pin one more time. Orton breaks it up at two! Red gets up and chases Orton out of the ring and the two men take almost an entire lap around it. Orton finally slides into the ring luring Red into a trap that allows Lesnar to nearly behead him with a brutal clothesline!

Lesnar takes Red by the leg and looks to put him away once and for all with the Brock Lock, and it takes what little Red has left in the tank to drag Lesnar, who’s luckily still not 100% after that stunner over to his corner and he reluctantly tags in Cena. Lesnar lets go of Red but isn’t fast enough as Cena charges into the ring like a bat out of hell and sends Lesnar reeling into the corner. Cena takes him by the arm and goes to throw him towards the other side of the ring, but Lesnar reverses the irish whip attempt and Cena hits the turnbuckle pads hard back-first.

With Cena right where he wants him, Lesnar runs across the ring and right into Cena’s boot. Lesnar drops to the mat while Cena works his way to top rope. At first it looks like he’s going for that leg drop of his, but Lesnar straightens up forcing Cena to switch things up and go for a crossbody instead. It backfires as Lesnar catches Cena then recklessly throws him over head with a fallaway slam!

-Jim Ross-
Bah gawd! John Cena is by no means a light man, but you wouldn’t be able to tell that by the way Lesnar just caught and threw him like he weighed nothing.

Lesnar staggers over to his corner and tags in the Rock who pulls Cena into the middle of the ring and begins stomping away at his near-lifeless body. He then takes Cena by the legs and after taking a moment to soak in the atmosphere, Rock crosses Cena’s legs and locks in the sharpshooter! He’s leaning back on the submission as far as Cena’s spine will allow, and then some, apparently not worried at all about snapping the man’s spine clean in half. Before they can even decide if they’re going to get into the ring to help Cena out, Austin and Red are knocked off the apron by Orton who quickly dashes back over to his side of the ring before The Ref can reprimand him.

That action by his most recent bitter rival forces Cena to find a way out of this painful-looking submission on his own and his only course of action appears to be to drag himself over to the ropes. He’s just a fingertip away when Rock drags him back into the center of the ring while the fans let out an exasperated sigh. Before Rock and sit in on the submission again, Cena uses the power in his legs to roll onto his back and kick Rock off of him. The two men get up at the same time and Cena ducks under Rock’s clothesline and slams him down with the spinning powerbomb! This time Cena races over to the ropes without his usual setup which allows him to hit the five knuckle shuffle on Rock without interruption.

-Jerry Lawler-
Would you just listen to these people! They all know what’s coming next and they can’t wait to see it!

Cena keeps his eyes locked on Rock who slowly makes his way to his feet after having Cena’s fist dropped onto his face. Lesnar suddenly rushes into the ring and Cena quickly disposes of him by tossing him over the top rope. Cena then lifts Rock off the ground and is moments away from ending the match with an Attitude Adjustment! Cena turns around with Rock on his shoulders and freezes and incoming Orton in his tracks! Orton was trying to be sly but got caught with his hand in the cookie jar. You can see it in Cena’s eyes that he’s just about had enough of Orton’s antics and can be heard saying, “I dare you” to the man who has been a pain in his ass for weeks. Out of nowhere, Red springboards off the top rope, jumps on then off Rock’s back and takes Orton out with a hurricanrana! Cena uses the opening to drop Rock with the Attitude Adjustment and the match is over! One! Two! Thr—Red pulls Cena off of Rock!

Cena gets up with a look of shock on his face and as Red tries to explain him, Lesnar reaches under the bottom rope and pulls Cena out of the ring. Austin leaps off the apron and attacks Lesnar and Red tries to go for the save with a springboard out of the ring but Orton grabs his leg in mid-air and jerks Red back into the ring. Red lands hard on the mat but refuses to stay down. He slowly gets up and Orton goes for the RKO, but Red shoves him off! Red leaps into the air and hits a dropkick on Orton knocking him out of the ring then he gets up only to be spun around and grabbed by The Rock who plants him into the mat with a devastating Rock Bottom!

On the outside of the ring, Cena and Austin double team Lesnar. Their plan now is to take him out with a double suplex but Lesnar lifts them both into the air instead and the three men land with a sickening thud on the thin-padding outside of the ring! It’s complete chaos once again in this match, but it would appear The Heyman guys have firm control of this match as Lesnar picks up the wounded Cena and rolls him into the ring where The Rock is waiting and the Brahma Bull immediately goes for the pin: One! Two! Cena kicks out!

-Jim Ross-
He kicked out! John Cena kicked out! There’s still fight left in the kid!

-Michael Cole-
Would you calm down, JR? Geez! That kickout was all luck, plain and simple.

-Jerry Lawler-
John Cena didn’t get to where he is today because of luck, and frankly neither did The Rock… though it’s hard to put into a single word how much he benefitted from Amazing Red’s actions.

The Rock’s eyes widen in surprise at the fact that the match isn’t over, but he quickly shakes it off and gets his game face back on. He rises to his feet then squats down and shuffles from side to side as he prepares to end this match with The Rock Bottom. Suddenly, Stone Cold bursts into the ring and drives his knee into Rock’s gut. He flips off both Orton and Lesnar on the apron before leaving the ring himself while the people burst into a round of cheers before settling into a chant of Austin’s name.

A dazed Cena makes his way to his feet and when he notices Rock down on the mat he quickly drops down on him for the pin but only gets a two count before the kick out. Cena picks himself up off the ground and stumbles over towards his corner where both his teammates are primed and ready for the tag. Cena approaches Red first but gives him a weary glance before tagging in Stone Cold instead who gets a huge pop from the crowd as he enters the ring.

-Jim Ross-
And here he comes! The Texas Rattlesnake looks like he’s ready to stomp a mudhole in someone in somebody and walk it dry!

-Michael Cole-
Would you stop screaming and at least pretend that you’re not a completely biased and unprofessional commentator?

Stone Cold has a smile on his face as he watches The Rock dry to drag himself as far away from his aggressor as possible. Rock makes the mistake of dragging himself into the corner leaving himself with nowhere to run. He stands up as Stone Cold takes a couple of steps towards him and holds out his hands as he tries to make peace. Stone Cold asks The Rock if he’s serious and in response Rock get revenge on behalf of Orton by smacking Austin in the face. Stone Cold retaliates with a series of punches and when The Rock drops into a sitting position, Stone Cold begins stomping unmercifully on every inch of The Rock’s body until The Ref has to pull him away. Rock uses the distance granted by the separation to lunge over to his corner and tag in Orton.

Orton steps into the ring he and Austin meet in the middle of the ring and unlike earlier they don’t waste time with words and instead begin tearing away into each other. The angry fists fly from everywhere, and just as it looks like Austin is getting the best of Orton, The Apex Predator drives his knee into Stone Cold’s gut doubling him over, then Orton hits a suplex. He floats over for the pin and gets a two-count before Austin gets his shoulder off the mat. Orton and Austin both make their way to their feet and Orton turns to run to the ropes, but Austin grabs the back of Orton’s tights and pulls him towards him, then lifts Orton into the air and drops him with a back suplex.

Austin gets to his feet and hits the ropes before hitting his signature rattlesnake elbow and he goes for the pin hoping that that was enough to keep Orton down for the count. He never gets to find out as Lesnar breaks up the pin, then knocks Cena and Red off the apron for the hell of it. Austin gets up and tries to give the beast incarnate a piece of his fist, but Lesnar headbutts him with a thick skull of his dazing Austin on his feet leaving him vulnerable for Orton who grabs him in a front facelock and throws Austin onto the apron.

-Michael Cole-
This is it, Randy! There’s no one around to stop you this time!

Orton pulls Austin onto the middle rope and before he ends the match with the DDT, he closes his eyes and soaks in the moment. While he does that, Red chooses tagging himself in over helping Austin out. He drops off the apron so Orton doesn’t see him and does nothing to stop Orton from planting Austin’s skull into the mat and potentially doing serious damage to that neck with a brutal DDT. Orton doesn’t go for the pin and instead backs into the corner and the crowd boos while also showing some serious concern regarding the fate of Stone Cold.

Orton charges looking to end a career tonight with the punt but he’s instead kicked by Red who springboards off the top rope and hits a front drop kick. Red kips up to his feet and when Orton gets up he hits a spinning back kick that knocks Orton onto his back. Red quickly races over to the opposite side of the ring and tries to take out both Rock and Lesnar with another front dropkick but he only gets Lesnar and Rock ducks out of harm’s way. Red climbs to the top where he’s one leap away from winning the match with Infrared, but The Rock gets onto the apron and tries to knock Red off the top but gets a kick to the face for his troubles that knocks him off the apron. Red jumps off the top rope and hits Infrared! He stumbles over to his side of the ring where Cena tags himself in, just before Red takes a running start and hits the Red Star Press!

He goes for the pin but because he’s not the legal man The Ref won’t count the pin! Red gets up and he’s clearly beside himself with anger after having victory snatched out of his hands. Cena enters the ring and asks Red if he likes how it feels and in response Red pushes Cena back, his emotions and the stakes of the match clearly overwhelming him. Cena doesn’t take kindly to that and gets right into Red’s face and while the two men are distracted, Orton is able to sneak away and tag in Lesnar before rolling under the bottom rope and disappearing from sight.

-Michael Cole-
I knew these three egomaniacs wouldn’t be able to get along long enough to see this match through to the end and now Lesnar is about to make them pay.

Lesnar charges into the ring and knocks Cena into Red and for a moment Cena’s annoyance at the West Side Army is replaced by a look of concern before Lesnar spins him around and lifts him onto his shoulders in preparation for The F5. Red comes to Cena’s aid by dropping kicking Lesnar on the knee causing the big man to fall forward, but inadvertently causing Cena to get dumped over the top rope and out of the ring. Red’s actions are being fueled purely by adrenaline and he’s suffering a mean case of tunnel vision. Lesnar gets up and he and Red stare each other down. Lesnar smirks and says that West is never coming back, then spits in Red’s face!

You can almost see the exact moment when Red snaps and he nails Lesnar right in the jaw with a vicious superkick, not once but twice and the big man drops to one knee. The Ref is trying to get Red back onto the apron, but he’s ignored as Red races over and nails Lesnar with a spike hurricanrana. Austin gets into the ring and tries to pull Red off when he’s grabbed from behind by Rock but knocks him away with a back elbow. Austin charges at his foe and sends both of them flying over the top rope with an incredibly reckless clothesline. Red undoes West’s tie that he kept wrapped around his wrist and uses it to blatantly choke Lesnar! With no other options The Ref begins a five count.

One!

Two!

Three!

Four!

Five!

Completely oblivious to the fact that he threw the match away and cost his team a victory, Amazing Red is still choking out Lesnar with that tie, seemingly with no plans to back off anytime soon. Stone Cold gets back into the ring and tries to pull Red off his prey and finally manages to do it after a struggle. Lesnar quickly rolls out of the ring and chuckles at the fact that he successfully managed to get inside of Red’s head and prevent West from getting his job back.

As The Heyman crew revel in their victory while backing up the ramp, Austin is still in the ring giving Red an earful, clearly pissed off at the way the match ended. After finally realizing what he did, Red looks distraught and Austin barking into his ear isn’t helping his state of mind. Red walks by Austin and tries to leave the ring, but Austin takes that as a sign of disrespect and spins Red around, kicks him in the gut and is moments away from going for the Stunner before Cena breaks things up, allowing Red to slip out of the ring while Cena tries to calm Austin down.

He reaches back into the ring to grab West’s tie and stares at, the truth of the moment sinking in that because of him West may never come back. He turns around and walks up the ramp and when he gets onto the stage he looks behind him at Cena and Austin standing in the ring, staring back at him. Breakdown fades to a commercial break as Cena and Austin exchange a look and shake their heads.

Breakdown returns to the faces of The Ryback, Stephanie McMahon, Paul Heyman, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, and The Rock. The camera man has seemed to walk in on a heated argument.

Stephanie McMahon
You know that is not true Paul! You know what, fine, I won’t schedule a rematch next week. You’re right, your team won, even if it was unfairly. So what stipulation do you want for the Final Stand Match Goldberg?

Goldberg opens his mouth to speak but Paul quickly speaks over him.

Paul Heyman
For the Final Stand Match, Goldberg versus The Ryback, we want out stipulation to be.. If The Ryback loses, than one..former West Side Army Member will be fired indefinitely… And that member will have to be chosen, the week before Final Stand, by a man who no longer has a job here, Don West!!!

Goldberg glares at Paul and stands over him threateningly.

Goldberg
That’s my choice, not yours.

Brock Lesnar shoves Goldberg off of Paul. Goldberg looks Brock up and down before backing off. Lesnar smirks as Stephanie begins to speak.

Stephanie McMahon
And Ryback, what stipulation do you want for the match?

Paul Heyman
What? What do you mean?? Our team won, his team lost! We get to pick the stipulations not him!!

Stephanie McMahon
No actually, I do, seeing as I’m the Breakdown General Manager, not you. Seeing as your team won via DQ, I’m going to grant The Ryback a stipulation as well. So Ryback, what will it be?

Paul Heyman
You know what fine, go ahead, it’s not like The Ryback will be able to defeat Goldberg anyways!!

The Ryback
We’ll see. Because if I do, then my stipulation is that you Paul Heyman, will be fired!!

Paul Heyman
What!! You can’t do that!!

Stephanie McMahon
Actually, Paul is right Ryback, he is under contract here. So you can
t fire him, but you can relocate him.

The Ryback
Relocate?

Stephanie McMahon
Well he is a manager now, so if you win Ryback, then Paul Heyman will have to drop his clients and become an announcer, or interviewer, or referee, or whatever I seem fit at the time…

The Ryback
Works for me!

Stephanie McMahon
And now it’s time for my stipulation. A stipulation that I had help coming up with, you remember my friend here don’t you?

The doctor that Brock Lesnar broke the arm of steps into the scene with a cast. Brock lunges at him and laughs as the doctor flinches.

Stephanie McMahon
Very funny Brock. But you better wipe that smirk off your face, because if you don’t do it yourself, than this will.. My stipulation is that until Final Stand, Paul Heyman, you are… Suspended As A Manager!!!!

Paul Heyman
What!! No!! Why!!

Stephanie McMahon
Don West is gone, you will be gone, it’s time for some peace and quiet leading up to Final Stand. I could use it!!

Heyman protests but is immediately taken away by a security team. Brock Lesnar fights back, knocking down four of the security members before being held back by the rest of the team. Goldberg and The Rock simply walk off as we go to a commercial break.

Breakdown cuts to the backstage area where we find Randy Orton, in what would appear to be a contemplating stance of sorts. He seems to be thinking heavily about something. A voice comes over the speakers and is instantly recognized as Josh Matthews.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 RandyOrtonpromo21_zps4e2833ad

{{Josh Matthews}}
Randy, Randy, can I have a moment?

Orton turns around as the camera backs out, giving Josh a look that could kill.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 RandyOrtonpromo24_zps39af402f

Josh pauses, not sure how to react to the stare but then goes ahead, attempting to do his job.

{{Josh Matthews}}
Randy, I would like to start off by congratulating you on your win tonight in the six man tag match against Stone Cold, Amazing Red, and John Cena. But I have to ask, what were you thinking so heavily about when I came in?

Randy inhales and exhales heavily once again before stepping up to the extended mic.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 RandyOrtonpromo22_zps65ae9716

{{Randy Orton}}
You want to know what I was thinking about Josh? I was thinking about how tonight is just another mark on the board for Cena. He one upped me, again. Twice in the span of just two weeks.

{{Josh Matthews}}
What do you mean? Your team won tonight!

{{Randy Orton}}
You seem to think I care about the win tonight. No, what I cared about was making Cena hurt and I barely graced that goal. The same thing happened last week. I went to hit him with the RKO and he saw it coming. I tried to do the same tonight and he saw it coming. John, John is getting smarter. He's catching on and it's not what I was wanting. What I was wanting, was for him to get confident, which is what is happening. He's feeling a little too sure of himself Josh, and trust me, that will be his downfall.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 RandyOrtonpromo23_zps48b7cdbe

{{Josh Matthews}}
Well, can I ask exactly what you are hoping to get out of attacking John Cena so many times?

{{Randy Orton}}
My goal, as I said before you moron, is to hurt him. The XWL universe is so high on Cena and it makes me sick. So now, it's finally time to take him down a notch. John Cena is pathetic, compared to me and all I have wanted since he got his little title shot back at Uprising is to prove it. Tonight wasn't a victory for me. Last week and tonight were wins for him. But those are his last. Next week, there will NOT be another slip up on my part.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 RandyOrtonpromo25_zps65122020

{{Randy Orton}}
Now, get the hell out of my locker room.

Josh suddenly backs away, knowing Orton is not in the mood to be messed with. The screen cuts to the next segment.

As Breakdown returns from a commercial break we see interviewer Renee Young standing by with the “Queen of Wresling” Sara Del Rey.

-Renee Young-
Welcome back ladies and gentleman, to my right is Sara Del Rey and Sara, we’re only a few weeks away from Final Stand and as far as we know you don’t have any plans for the biggest show of the year.

-Sara Del Rey-
Key words there being: “as far as you know.” Come on, Renee, do you really think that Don West and I don’t have something up our sleeves? We’re two steps ahead of the pack and when all is said and done we’ll be the highlight of the show.

-Renee Young-
But you don’t have a match or…

-Sara Del Rey-
Or nothing. Anyone can have a match at Final Stand; even someone like Brad Maddox managed to weasel himself into one and that right there should tell you all that you need to know. Besides, when Sara Del Rey steps into the ring it’s a forgone conclusion that she’s going to come out on top, so where’s the surprise or the suspense in that? Did Kharma have a match on the main show the night she went out and destroyed six careers in one night?

-Renee Young-
No, she didn’t.

-Sara Del Rey-
Exactly, yet until the end of time what destruction she caused on the night will be remembered until the end of time.

-Renee Young-
Are you planning on following in Kharma’s footsteps and picking up where she left off?

-Sara Del Rey-
Oh Renee, where’s the fun in doing what’s already been done? I’m going to make an impact and my own way, and trust me, it’ll be every bit as memorable as what Kharma did.

-Renee Young-
Can we get a hint or some kind of clue, at least?

-Sara Del Rey-
I’m afraid I can’t do that, but it’ll be worth the wait, I promise you that.

-Renee Young-
Well speaking of waiting, it would seem that AJ Lee—

-Sara Del Rey-
Oh boy…

-Renee Young-
—is still waiting for a reply from you as far as her challenge is concerned.

-Sara Del Rey-
She’s the only one still waiting because she’s the only one who didn’t get the message loud and clear that I’ve washed my hands of her. AJ is the kind of chick who likes to bite off more than she can chew then gets mad at everyone but herself when she fails to live up to her unrealistic expectations.

-Renee Young-
You kind of have a point there; she is already confirmed to be in the Miss Money in the Bank ladder match.

-Sara Del Rey-
She should be grateful that I’m not in the match, sparing her the heartbreak of watching me climb up the ladder and retrieve the briefcase she’s depending on to make her relevant again. But I guess she liked the beating at Uprising so much that she wants a little more, but I’m going out of my way to make her miserable, I’ll just accomplish that by making sure that she never becomes Diva’s champion in 2014 because that belt will be around my waist and won’t be going anywhere.

Suddenly AJ Lee comes skipping into the scene, it's almost like Sara can't have an interview without AJ coming skipping in. The expression on Sara Del Rey's face says it all, as AJ stops right in front of her with a smile across her face

[AJ Lee]
Oh Sara...Where would you be without this false hope? This false hope that one day you'll be something, that one day..you'll be as good as me. But you know..I have to admire it...You don't let anything get in your way, not even your lack of talent! You still keep going thinking you'll cause the smallest threat in this diva division! Let's face it it the only thing you and Kharma have in common is the fact that you're both oversized freaks You can only dream of causing the destruction Kharma caused, You can only dream about being half as good as Kharma was. As far as the Divas Championship goes... You'll never get even close to my championship and when I regain my championship...I'll make sure that you never get a championship match...That's if you even make it past Final Stand...but then again you're too afraid of what I'd do to you to even accept my challenge..

-Sara Del Rey-
You know something, AJ? Despite what’s been going on with Don West lately, last week was one of the best weeks in my XWL career. Wanna know why? Well of course you do, look at you, you’re hanging on to my every word just like you always do. Just going through an entire show without having to see the blank look on your face or hear your annoying little voice buzzing in my ear like the pest you are was such a relief. But you were right about one thing, though, because Kharma and I? Women like us really are “freaks” because based on what I’ve seen of the “talent” in XWL, women waltzing around here not knowing how to carry themselves in the ring, that’s what appears to be the norm and so I’m glad you realize that, unlike you, I’m a different breed than the rest.

[AJ Lee]
It's funny...because without me..It's almost like you wasn't even here last week. You wasn't relevant when I wasn't here to make you relevant. But now...everybody is watching..all because of me. That's why you need to face me at Final Stand..Without me you won't be relevant at Final Stand, You'll be just another diva that failed to make it.

-Sara Del Rey-
Wow, AJ, when you put it that way maybe I don’t have a choice but to believe you.

[AJ Lee]
You know what I say..is the truth.

-Sara Del Rey-
I mean, who in XWL knows more about failing and coming up short than you do? You’re practically an expert in the field and it’s really I don’t have a pen or pencil on me because one or two of those pieces of information was worth writing down. Like that bit about me needing me to face you at Final Stand. Whenever I’m feeling down I can just read that over and over again and laugh. Here’s the thing: AJ, the only thing I need at this moment is for you to get out of my face because I’m starting to get sick and tired of your little games. You want to play and skip? Go find a schoolyard because here in XWL, here in the real world, there won’t be anyone to save you when you go and piss the wrong person off.

[AJ Lee]
Failing? I am a 3 times Divas Champion, and just in case you're too stupid to realise...that's 3 more times than you've held that championship. Only one Diva has held that championship as much as I have. Am I annoying you? Am I making you mad?...Good...Because I want you to get mad...I mean, I'm not sure you're not going to turn all green but maybe if you get Mad...You'll want to face me at Final Stand, Maybe you'll get mad and make the biggest mistake of your career by agreeing to face me at Final Stand.

-Sara Del Rey-
I bet it’s pretty great to brag about your diva’s championship wins when you have nothing else to talk about. How many countries have you wrestled in, AJ? How many companies have you been the main-attraction of? How many men have you taken to school and outshined? When you figure out the answer to those questions, it’ll finally dawn on you what I’ve been saying all along: in the grand scheme of things you are nothing compared to me. I’m the “Queen of Wrestling” for a reason, AJ, and I bet it’s the same reason why deep down inside you’re so threatened and intimidated by me that you have to put on this tough front.

[AJ Lee]
Tough Front..you think I'm putting on a tough front?

-Sara Del Rey-
No, AJ, it is an act and every time I decline your challenge to spare you the embarrassment of getting destroyed in that ring you take a deep sigh of relief. But you can’t stay away from me; you can’t just learn to count your blessings and move on to someone who will play along with your little games. What you just can’t seem to grasp is that the day I accept your challenge is the day your career ends leaving you with no choice but to find a new wrestler’s bed to crawl into so that you can secure a job in a different company.

AJ brushes off any insult Sara tried to give by actually laughing in response

[AJ Lee]
You know...It's funny... You have to put yourself on a pedestal everytime you talk...Nobody cares how many high school gyms you wrestled in across the world...I've travelled the world with the biggest company in this business, while you was wrestling in front of whoever you could drag in from the street that night...See Sara, I actually attract crowds all over this world. People actually buy tickets to see me...Nobody wants to see you. Plus, I won't be the one needing a new job...maybe Don West can get you a job wherever he ends up. Because either way..You will prove that you don't belong in this company...You'll ever face me and receive the most embarrassing loss of your career on the grandest stage of them all or you'll still refuse to face me and show the world what a coward you really are.

-Sara Del Rey-
AJ, it looks like you’ve done a great job of repressing the memory of what happened to you at Uprising because you’re doing a lot of tough-talking to a woman who made you feel helpless and made you look worthless the last time we were in the same ring. I earned the right to be put on a pedestal and despite the fact that I am leagues above you, AJ, you still try your damn-dest to look down on me even though it’s you that has something to prove, not me. It’s you that’s desperate to beat me because it already goes without saying that I am better than you. The only coward here is you, AJ, because you’re too afraid to look deep within yourself and accept your limitations as a wrestler, and that when you’re at your best, you’re still only half as good as I am. There’s no shame in being second-best.

[AJ Lee]
What you keep failing to remember is...at Uprising, deep down..You only did what you did because you knew that I was going to beat you clean in the middle of that ring..and you couldn't take that. You couldn't just accept that I am better than you...and you're still denying that right now. You talk a big game, but you're yet to be even close to proving anything you say...I'm the one who beat the Divas Champion two weeks in a row, I'm the one who beat Layla and Paige single handed. What have you done? You've been losing week after week. You're living in the past...maybe at one point in your career you was on top, maybe at one point in your career you seemed like the best...but now you're in the big time...you're not even close to being on my level. I've told you that time and time again...yet you seem to deny it..you can't accept that it is a fact.

-Sara Del Rey-
*Chuckles* Ok, you know, what, AJ? If Don were here he’d tell me that I should know better than to reason with a crazy person because all they do is drag you down to their level then beat you with experience. So I’ll just leave you here and maybe you’ll get into a gripping conversation with yourself to pass the time, because I’m done letting you waste my time. You can stand there and say that I’m a thing of the past, when the truth is that it’s killing you inside to look at me and know that I’m the future of XWL, not you.

Del Rey pats AJ on the shoulder and wishes her the best before turning to walk away. AJ then cries out angrily, her expression not changing since Del Rey called her crazy. AJ spins Del Rey around and slaps her in the face! The two share an intense stare, electricity dancing between their eyes. Seconds pass and without warning AJ cracks a smile, turns and skips away. Renee Young, who tried to keep out of it, steps forward.

-Renee Young-
Sara… why didn’t you do anything?

-Sara Del Rey-
Because that’s what she wanted.

With that said, Del Rey turns and walks away in the opposite direction as the screen fades to black.

Really enjoyed the back and forth between AJ & SDR, been a fun feud to follow. I look forward to the inevitable moment when Sara finally accepts AJ's challenge simply because with the way it's been built you know it's coming, but not how or why, that's what makes this better.

This was one hard fought battle that brewed into an amazing match. We may never see another one between these two again!

While Goldberg continues basking in his victory, we’re whisked away backstage to see Stephanie McMahon working diligently at her desk to make sure that Breakdown runs smoothly in these few weeks before Final Stand. A knock is heard on her door that causes her to look up from her work.

-Stephanie McMahon
Come i—

Amazing Red barges into the office, breathing heavily with anger still written all over his face. He’s still in possession of Don West’s tie – much like how West hung on to that Sangriento mask when the odds of Red returning were looking slim – after using it to choke out Brock Lesnar earlier in the night. Red now has it loosely draped around his neck and there’s no telling what he’ll do with it in his current state of mind.

-Stephanie McMahon
Nice to see that you’re at least dressed for the occasion.

Red doesn’t even crack a smile, the days of finding joy in this company long gone without his manager by his side. He walks around Stephanie’s desk and looks her right in the eye as her speaks.

-Amazing Red-
I want one more chance.

-Stephanie McMahon
Do you now?

-Amazing Red-
I want one more match.

-Stephanie McMahon
Look Red, your dedication to West is touching, it really is, but you had your chance; you had your match and quite frankly, you blew it. But hey, you tried your hardest out there, that’s better than nothing, right? Don’t forget there’s a silver lining too: Paul Heyman is gone.

-Amazing Red-
That’s not good enough; I want Don back.

-Stephanie McMahon
Then you should have kept your temper in check instead of getting yourself disqualified.

-Amazing Red-
I wasn’t even the legal man.

-Stephanie McMahon
Which makes what you did even stupider. I expected better from a man who has spent almost a year as part of a group, but I guess I gave you too much credit.

-Amazing Red-
John Cena and Stone Cold aren’t West Side Army, they don’t care whether or not Don comes back.

-Stephanie McMahon
They were your teammates, Red. I’m sure they would have liked to have won that match.

-Amazing Red-
I needed to get that pin and they got in my way.

-Stephanie McMahon
So what are you saying, Red? You want another tag match?

-Amazing Red-
No. I don’t want anyone else dragged into my problems. Don West is gone because of me and I want him to get his job back because of me.

-Stephanie McMahon
So I see, you want to fly solo on this then. What about the other members of The West Side Army?

-Amazing Red-
They all have their own issues to deal with and whether they admit or not I know that they blame me for what happened to Don.

-Stephanie McMahon
Well can you blame them?

-Amazing Red-
The point is, Stephanie, I want one more chance next week. One more match to win Don his job back.

-Stephanie McMahon
You something, Red, unlike others you’ve been civil and professional about this whole thing and I’m going to reward you for that. Here’s what I’ll do: I’m not going to give you one chance next week, I’m giving you three! On Breakdown you’re going to face three opponents in a gauntlet, but I’m not an unreasonable woman, so you’ll only need to win two out of those three matches to win Don West his job back. This is all I’m giving you, Red, and I don’t want to hear any excuses if you lose.

-Amazing Red-
I won’t.

Red turns to leave the room and just before he exits the room he says one last thing.

-Amazing Red-
Thank you.

Breakdown transitions to the backstage area. We see Kofi Kingston sitting on one of the road cases. As the camera gets closer, we can hear Kofi singing.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 TUGr6NM

[Kofi Kingston]
"♫ Can you tell me who will still care?... Oh care! ♫"

An interviewer attempts to get Kofi's attention.

[Interviewer]
"Excuse me, Kofi?"

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 F1vAXmG

[Kofi Kingston]
"♫ Mmmbop, ba duba dop, Ba du bop, ba duba dop, Ba du bop, ba duba dop, Ba du, Ye... ♫"

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 EGGPY8i

Kofi notices the camera and interviewer. He removes his headphones, sporting a huge smile.

[Interviewer]
"Kofi earlier tonight, you picked up a huge win over Jeff Hardy. How are you feeling?"

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 CgUB0KO

[Kofi Kingston]
"How am I feeling? That's easy. I feel alive! I feel that my win of Jeff Hardy was my first step in the right direction. Jeff Hardy is a hell of a competitor and, like me, takes risks to pick up the win. Tonight, I earned that win and I'm proud. You know... ever since day one here in XWL, I've been a background superstar in a way. I'd go out and I'd win some and lose some and no one would care. Opportunities? Not so much.. and that's my fault. I didn't do enough to get noticed. Tonight, was the first step in a career change for the better. From this day forward, I vow to be noticed. I vow to not be a background Superstar. I vow to not be "just another failure"."

[Interviewer]
"With this new "change", what are your goals going into the future?"

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 Xr7trvg

[Kofi Kingston]
"You know... I could be like everyone else and say, "Oh, I'm going for the big one. I'm going for the title." ...but that's not what I want. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm not going to turn down that opportunity if it ever came, but I want something different. I just want to be all I can be. I want to push myself to be a top performer here in XWL. I want to entertain my fans while at the same time, kicking butt and having fun."

[Interviewer]
"Thank you for your time, Kofi."

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 VuSa8rg

[Kofi Kingston]
"Hey man, anytime. Big things are coming for Kofi Kingston. Just watch."

As the short interview comes to an end, we see Kofi place his headphones back over his ears.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 PMTXLNR

He begins to sing again.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 X7BrBsO

[Kofi Kingston]
"♫ Mmmbop, ba duba dop, Ba du bop, ba duba dop, Ba du bop, ba duba dop, Ba du. ♫"

We fade into the next segment.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 Kurt-a10

*As Kurt Angle music cut off he begins to talk*

Kurt Angle: Two down.. Two to go. The quest for the gold match are heating up very very fast. So far its me and Xavier Woods. Now I know for a fact I can beat Xavier Woods, But I am just waiting to see who my other opponents are. Their is no need for me to worry though because I will win that match and become The United States Champion. But, I am only focus on one thing tonight and that's beating Samoa Joe. Last time we were in the ring we were beating each other senseless but he end up winning. This week that's all going to change. I am BETTER than him and anyone in this business. I prove that when I won the first Quest for Gold match and now when I win at Final Stand everyone will know I am the best.

Sorry that it was short. I am on spring break and I was busy but trying to get my matches done.

Promptly returning from a commercial break, Ted DiBiase is shown standing in front of a camera, ready to speak openly, and without an interviewer to get in the way of what he has to say.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 51qgQDy

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 ZWi5APA
I'm the ONE and ONLY Ted DiBiase, The Next World Heavyweight Champion, and let's face it, the last. Because once that title is back around my waist, it's never leaving it. That's not arrogance you detect, that's not my mouth cashing a check that won't clear, that's just reality. For too long I lived in a fantasy world, a world where I wasted three years I'll never get back, by trying to be A Man Of The People. Quite frankly, I was the only true man among those people, not the spineless cowards that walk around every day at their dead end jobs, in their loveless relationships. I've got a beautiful wife at home, together we've got a wonderful son, and I'm the biggest thing going in this company today. Not Dean Amrose, not Roman Reigns, or any other Shield Rejects that try to make it in this company. I've already made it, Dean's just my placeholder, don't get me wrong, he's good, he's got a special something about him, and we've had fun before, but he's in my way, and I'm not afraid to put him in his place, which is below me.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 UtPq75U

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 ZWi5APA
That's because I'm a man that takes charge, I'm a man that can look myself in the mirror and see myself for who I am, not who I'm supposed to be. With your background Dean, people expect you to be some off your rocker lunatic with some serious underlying issues, and well you've certainly fallen into your role quite well, haven't you? You should be honored that you're in The Main-Event at Final Stand, and with me no less, that's a big deal for you, and probably the biggest moment you'll ever have. When all is said and done, you'll be known as the man that did a justice to this company and this world by bringing what was wrongly stolen from me, back to where it belongs. It's been a long road for me, but the dirt path finally ends at Final Stand, a walkway of gold appears before me, and I embark on a journey nobody ever saw me going on. I was supposed to be "daddy's little boy." Something you wouldn't know anything about, since you don't really know anything about your father, but truth be told he was probably a deranged son of a bitch just like you, so at least there that. But everyone, including me, actually knew who my father was. I naturally was expected to be a chip off the old block, an extravagant millionaire that essentially, would repeat everything his father did. Which, was a whole lot of nothing.

Not even blinking after disrespecting his father's name, Ted continues.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 Q9Ye4AI

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 ZWi5APA
Fact is, he did nothing, he was nothing, and he still IS NOTHING! You wanna know why he's back? Because I'm Main-Eventing this company's biggest show of the year, and he thinks that he can piggyback off my success. Ironic isn't it? Considering for the longest time, that's all people claimed I was doing, wasn't it? That I was just filling shoes that were too big for me, when in actuality, I outgrew those shoes a long time ago. I didn't play Daddy Warbucks like my father, because unlike dear old dad, I don't have to be some fake, phony, imitation of my own imagination.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 FZoCt0n

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 ZWi5APA
Oh sure, he's "The Million Dollar Man" but I'm THE Man! He might be back on his comeback tour for the next week or two, but at the end of it all, nobody will remember he even showed his face around here. Just like when the name Ted DiBiase is now thought of, they don't think of that guy that flaunted his money more than he flaunted his skill, they think of ME! Because I've actually been World Heavyweight Champion, and I'll be World Heavyweight Champion again in two weeks. But nobody ever saw that happening for me, not even my "loyal" fans. Because when I was finished with trying to live up to my father's "huge" success. I tried to find my own way, a path that he didn't go down, I went down the road less traveled and acted only as, myself.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 M0F6vAy

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 ZWi5APA
See, everything's always about gimmicks, characters, all that stuff, but me? I was different, I didn't try to be somebody, I just was who I actually was. A lot of time people think they have to get these personas to succeed, to be likable, to "matter" but I was on a mission to prove differently. I defied the biggest "gimmick" of them all, The Undertaker. I tried to give him his moment, to be the fan, but that guy wearing all that eye liner and playing silly light tricks, had to go and throw his weight around like the big legend he is. But how did that go exactly? Did he prove that I was wrong, that he was better? Three straight pay-per-views, I kicked his ass. I made him humble, and opened his eyes to what the world is now, not what it was back then.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 Ocve0TQ

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 ZWi5APA
I am the living breathing example of what is right with this business today, while people like my father, The Undertaker and far too many others that went down in history, but more importantly...became it. They tried to be something they weren't they tried to escape their mundane lives by creating alter egos of themselves, and of course like idiots, the fans bought into that. See you can have charisma, you can have flair, you can be larger than life, but when you start living a lie, that's when you become just that, a liar. A low down, dirty, no good, LIAR! See my father, he's the biggest liar of them all, all the way back to my childhood when he lied about being busy, just so he could escape the arms of his loving family, and find refuge in the arms of another woman.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 WOggqBI

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 ZWi5APA
But people change, right? He's better now, he's a minister in his spare time, he's a loving husband...now.  He won't make the same inexcusable decisions that once nearly tore apart my childhood, right?  WRONG! He thinks he can waltz back into wrestling, take a full time schedule, and that I'm supposed to accept that? You hurt my mother, and I refuse to allow you the chance to do it again. You might have gotten the wrestling itch, but I suggest you get rid of it before it's too late, because these are my stomping grounds, and you have no place here. You can claim to be different all you want, that you just want to relive your glory days, but you forget those days ended when you betrayed those that counted on you. I've learned that nothing changes, these fans turned their backs on me once before, and they did it again at Uprising. So "Ted" I suggest you snap out of your nostalgia trip and realize that not only is this a mistake, but you're just not cut out for this business.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 1LFwMi1

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 ZWi5APA
I tried to tell you when you at home but you wouldn't hear any of it, so I'm going to show you that you don't belong here, by beating you in that ring, and sending you packing. You had your time, no matter how memorable or not it was, now it's my turn. Next week, it's you versus me, and when you face your son's wrath for what you did all those years ago, I want you to remember one thing, I'm the ONLY REAL Ted DiBiase, you're just, and always will be, a phony! I hope you enjoy your fifteen minutes of fame next week when you go one on one with The NEXT World Heavyweight Champion in what is no doubt the biggest match you've ever been apart of, and will be apart of. Because after it's all said and done, after I commit an "Atrocity" and beat you my father until you come to your senses. You'll have had your "Final Stand" just as Dean will have his when I take The World Heavyweight Championship, and do what you never did, for the second time. You always say that everybody's got a price, and next week...you pay yours.

Breakdown resumes after a commercial break with some footage preceded by the words "Earlier Today"...

[Interviewer]
Trish, tonight you go one-on-one against the Divas Champion Layla in your biggest match to date since your return, and in just three weeks at Final Stand it's now been confirmed that you will face off against your former protegé Madison Eagles... your thoughts?

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 04_zps79897470

[Trish Stratus]
My thoughts... hmm?  Where do I begin?  First of all tonight isn't my biggest match since returning... it's pretty much on the same level of inadequacy as all the others.  Because nobody on this entire roster is in my league.  Not even the so-called "Champion".  Layla is nothing more than a little girl in a woman's world, just like Madison Eagles, Sara Del Rey, AJ Lee and everybody else.  This is my division... this is my world and tonight I'll prove that by effortlessly defeating the "best" and I'll prove that the Divas Championship is now nothing more than a common, tacky jewelry item when it should mean SO much more.

Trish begins laughing as she starts her next dialogue...

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 12_zpsd451d2d0

[Trish Stratus]
And as for my upcoming match with Madison Eagles at Final Stand?  Please... you make it sound like a big deal.  To me, it's just going to be about putting her back in her place... again.  Uprising wasn't enough for Eagles...  I thought the kick to the head would've made her see sense.  I thought it would've made her realize that someone like me is like a god compared to a nobody like her, but I guess not.  She wants more.  She wants another kick to the head, and I'm okay with that.  I'd kick her in the head all day long if she wanted me to.  But it seems all the kicks in the head will never drum the fact into her thick skull that she will never be as good as I am, and that she or anybody else will never match the greatness of Trish Stratus.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 07_zpsf1d2fef3

[Trish Stratus]
The way I see it, Eagles is in over her head.  She's made a big mistake by agreeing to the match and by attacking me which has only made me want to embarrass her even more.  She might think she's hot stuff but when it matters most she'll once again be unconscious on the mat looking up at the ceiling wondering what the hell just happened while I'm standing over her with my arm raised in victory.  And that image of me with my arm raised, will be one synonymous with Trish Stratus and the Divas Division for years to come.  You can count on it.

With that, the footage comes to a close as Breakdown continues...

XWL's Breakdown returns from the brief commercial break and we are joined by one XWL's backstage interviewers, Renee Young, who stands side-by-side with Nikki and Brie Bella, The Bella Twins.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 IZGymVv

[Renee Young]: Ladies and gentlemen, my guests at this time, Nikki...Brie... The Bella Twins.

[Brie Bella and Nikki Bella]: Hey Renee.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 CaUPkB5

[Renee Young]: Congratulations Brie on your big win tonight against Michelle McCool, keeping yourself in the running for a chance to be in the Miss Money In The Bank ladder match.

[Brie Bella]: Thanks Renee, means a lot.

[Renee Young]: If you don't mind me asking, how does it feel that you have to actually fight for your spot in the Money In The Bank match at Final Stand unlike Madison Eagles, Alicia Fox and AJ Lee?

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 OT5ECFX

[Brie Bella]: You know Renee, I have to admit that these past couple of weeks, I haven't been on top of my A game and as much as I hate to admit it, I've been overshadowed lately by those three ladies. There's a reason they've been picked to be in the match rather than fight for their spot... however, I don't feel that I am a lesser person because I have to fight for my spot. I'm going to use this opportunity to get back where I need to be and hopefully become Miss Money In The Bank at Final Stand.

[Renee Young]: Heading into this match tonight, Michelle had the upper hand with a 2-1 advantage, this could have very well been the end of your journey to gaining entry into the match at Final Stand but you pulled through. What was going through your mind as you stepped into the ring?

[Brie Bella]: I was extremely nervous stepping into this match... in just three seconds, my dream of becoming Miss Money In The Bank could've been shattered but I knew I had to fight.

[Renee Young]: And that you did Brie. I know Nikki has been supporting you throughout this whole series. Nikki, how does it feel to see your sister competing to earn a spot in Miss Money In The Bank?

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 VOef3bA

[Nikki Bella]: Well, first of all, Brie doesn't deserve to be competing in a series of matches against the likes of Michelle McCool just to earn a spot in Miss Money In The Bank. Clearly, Brie is better than every single diva in that match and whether she wants to admit that or not, I don't care. I'm not gonna sit here and play nice like Brianna. Second of all, I feel that the other girls are probably bad mouthing my sister and somehow, management is putting her in these matches because they have been tricked to think that she's not the most qualified. Pretty stupid if you ask me. Things just aren't adding up. With Brie and Michelle tied up, I'd hate to have to intervene if I see Brianna in trouble...

[Brie Bella]: Are you doubting me Nicole?

[Nikki Bella]: Of course not Brie, I just want to make sure the right woman is competing in the match at Final Stand, I'd rather see one great competitors and three talentless wannabee divas than four talentless wannabee divas.

[Brie Bella]: Trust me Nikki, I got this, you know how much I want this and I rather win the fair way.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 X7zDDhp

[Nikki Bella]: Okay Brie, suit yourself. I'll be in your corner still, still rooting for you.

[Brie Bella]: Thanks Nikki.

[Renee Young]: Ladies and gentlemen, next week will be the last match of the series with Michelle at two wins and Brie Bella with two wins. One more match, two divas, and one winner. Who will it be? Well Brie, good luck on the final match.

[Brie Bella]: Thank you Renee.

With that, the cameras fade to black as we head to next segment...

We're taken to the ring as a certain theme hits.......

J.R.:
And there he is folks, that snobby son of a bitch known as The Rock!

Michael Cole:
Ross, The Rock has every right to be a snob, the man is making MILLIONS for crying out loud!

Jerry Lawler:
Millions off of what, his direct-to-DVD movies? I watched that Robocop movie the other night, and I think the bad taste in my mouth hasn't gone away.......

The sound of The Great One's theme hits, and the boos are quite loud as The Rock walks down the ramp looking irritated, mic in hand. He wastes no time getting in the ring and letting the people know what his thoughts are.

The Rock:
FINALLY........Aw, who gives a crap? The Rock isn't here to cater, to feed the people tonight. The Rock is here tonight because The Brahma Bull just so happens to be a bit.......how do you say, PISSED OFF. You see, The Rock's team might have won the match earlier, but The Rock doesn't give a damn about that. The Rock doesn't give a single damn about any of the other jabroni’s he had to team up with, oh no no no, The Rock is one angry son of a bitch tonight because once again, Stone Cold Steve Austin, supposedly the toughest SOB on the planet......Has to resort to attacking The Rock from behind, costing him what would have been a definitive, a final victory! You see, The Rock and Stone Cold, we've had one hell of a history together! Year after year after year, we've locked horns for so many times, match after match, beatdown after beat down, but STILL you want to go toe to toe with The Great One.......

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 B24F4Ju

J.R.:
Beatdown? I recall many a time where The Rock was beaten by Stone Cold! Many times, in fact!

Michael Cole:
I don't know what you're talking about, name ONE match where Stone Cold beat The Rock!

J.R.:
Well, there was that one ti-

Michael Cole:
You keep your mouth shut.

The Rock chuckles as he shakes his head.

The Rock:
The Rock doesn't think that you've learned your lesson from last week! The Rock came out for his match and embarrassed you! Not only did The Rock slap the taste out of your damn mouth, but he beat you at your own game! The Rock beat you with his OWN version of The Stunner, yeah, The People's Stunner! The Rock thought after that ass beating of a lifetime, you would hide in your trailer park and sit on your ass every night thinking about what could have been. But instead you continue to bother and to pester The Great One. Like the stubborn son of a bitch that you are, you come out here tonight and you attack The Rock when his back his turned, blatant disrespect on your part! Well, Stone Cold, The Rock is going to lay the situation down like this: The Rock sees that you want redemption, that you want your proper revenge on The People's Champion, so tell you what, The Rock is going to make an offer.....No, The Rock is going to do something else entirely, The Rock is going to CHALLENGE Stone Cold Steve Austin to a match......at Final Stand!

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 YjzcCYr

The crowd roars upon hearing the challenge being issued, and The Rock nods, as though he was expecting the response.

Jerry Lawler:
Oh yeah!

J.R.:
Make that a HELL yeah, Jerry!

Michael Cole:
I can't wait to see Stone Cold get decimated - again!

The Rock:
You see, The Rock knew that that would happen. The people want to rise up and cheer for Stone Cold Steve Austin because they LOVE that stubborn redneck! But The Rock will tell you this, and The Rock KNOWS this for a fact.....Stone Cold is AFRAID of The Great One! You see, even though The Rock is challenging J.R.'s Baby Boy, everyone knows that he'll just hide in the back, crawled up into a ball, crying for his momma and asking for a milk bottle! The Rock knows that Stone Cold Steve Austin is nothing more than a delusional, idiotic, hare-brained, dumbass, wasted, hammered, abominable, big-headed, bitter, lousy, gutless hillbilly! See, The Rock can stand here in this ring and expose Stone Cold for all the son of a bitch truly is, and one thing's for sure, and that's the fact that The Bionic Redneck doesn't have the testicular fortitude to get up off of his ass and stand face to face with The Rock! Now if you'll excuse The Rock, he has to go direct another masterpiece film, which The Rock is sure you'll ALL enj-

Rock turns and goes to say his trademark if you smell when suddenly someone comes rushing down to the ring and snatches the microphone out of his hand. As the camera pans closer the crowd erupts as none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin is now in ring mic in hand

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 OOOXzdl

Rock taken aback by this turns and realizes who it is. He goes to speak but Austin looks around and clears his throat loudly, irritating Rock to the point where he decides to let Austin have his fun. So Austin looks around for a few minutes before speaking

{Steve Austin}
So what you’re saying is you’re sick and tired of Stone Cold Steve Austin?

Crowd
What?!

{Steve Austin}
You don’t like how I’m coming out here week after week and jacking my jaw saying I’m pissed off?

Crowd
What?!

{Steve Austin}
That I made a mistake by blindsiding you and that you think I did so because I’m afraid of you?

Crowd
What?!

{Steve Austin}
That I’m scared

Crowd
What?!

{Steve Austin}
That I don’t want nothing to do with you because I’m afraid you’re gonna beat me?

Crowd
What?!

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 Mw5zDeE

{Steve Austin}
Son, I would love to see you try and beat the holly hell out of me you stuck up son of a bitch. You’re coming out here flapping your gums talking about how I’m just a pissed off redneck who can’t let the past go? Well you’re damn right son. When someone picks a fight with me and then ducks around every little corner like some scared little dog with it’s tail between it’s legs then you bet your ass I’m pissed off. You come out here telling all these people that I haven’t learned my lesson? That you embarrassed me? Son, I don’t know if you know this but I’m a Texan who loves to drink beer and get into fights. Nothing embarrasses me you jackass.

Austin pauses for a few minutes before going to speak again

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 XhPOWam

{Steve Austin}
I gotta be honest with ya Rock, what happened to you jack? You come out here in your fancy track suit and you‘re out here running your mouth about how ole Stone Cold Steve Austin is nothing more than a delusional, lousy, big-headed, bitter hill-billy and then you come out here talking about how I attacked you from behind? Need I remind you of what you did to me son? There I was set to face off against Kane.

Crowd
What?!

{Steve Austin}
The big red machine

Crowd
What?!

{Steve Austin}
The devils favorite demon

Crowd
What?!

{Steve Austin}
One half of the brothers of destruction

Crowd
What?!

{Steve Austin}
When the next thing ole Stone Cold knew here comes that jackass that looks like a walrus in a suit, Paul Heyman. He gets out here in front of these here people and he says “Steve, I’m sorry Steve but your match tonight has been cancelled. Oh but don’t worry, because out of the goodness of my heart, I found you a replacement.” Then next thing ole Stone Cold knew WHAM spun around and hit with a damn rock bottom in the middle of this ring right here. Ever since then son I have only had one thing on my mind.

Crowd
What?!

Austin pauses and gets just inches from Rock before speaking a final time

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 W26VhjN

{Steve Austin}
To go one on one with the BIGGEST piece of trash walking God’s green earth. The former peoples champion who now has his head so far up his ass he can’t think straight. That’s right. The bionic redneck. The Texas Rattlesnake and the TOUGHEST son of a bitch to ever lace up a pair of boots going one on one with the walking billboard formly known as The People’s Champion. So how about it. If ya wanna see ole Stone Cold Steve Austin go one on one with The Rock at Final Stand and kick his ass from here all the way back to Hollywood then gimme a hell yeah!

Crowd
HELL YEAH

Stone Cold stops speaking as he stares at The Rock. The Rock looks around and smiles at the people, and he looks back at Stone Cold.

The Rock:
FINALLY......Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to go one on one with The Great One at Final Stand.......And after all is said and done, after the smoke clears and the dust settles, there will be only ONE left standing.......And The Rock knows that it won't be you.....So just bring it, bitch!

Suddenly, Rock grabs Stone Cold, about to do The Rock Bottom, but Stone Cold elbows Rock in the side, kicks Rock in the gut, and is about to do the Stunner, but Rock pushes Austin away and rolls out of the ring, generating boos from the crowd. Rock walks up the ramp shouting at Stone Cold as Austin leans against the ropes, goading Rock. Rock and Stone Cold have a staredown as the feed cuts off.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 VFcqfF3

That is the image we see as soon as Breakdown returns from a quick commercial break and soon it fades away to reveal the face of Alex Shelley holding a camera a couple of inches away from his face.

-Alex Shelley-
All right, guys and gals, you know what time it is: Paparazzi Productions is in the building and we’re going to do what we do best which is capture footage of XWL personnel in some kind of unflattering situation then sell the tape to the highest bidder for boatloads of cash. That’s right folks, you heard that figure correctly: boatloads of cash. This isn’t a game, this isn’t some kind of hobby; we are in it to win it, and soon Paparazzi Productions will be the go-to place for all your wrestling gossip and rumors. Speaking of… Hey, JB, did you know that Stone Cold Steve Austin is officially on the waiting list for an extensive hair-plugging regimen so he can once again be “stunning”?

Shelley turns the camera around to show JB’s expression of confusion.

-Jeremy Borash-
N—no I wasn’t aware of that.

-Alex Shelley-
He was not aware of that, and you want to know why, folks? Because poor JB just doesn’t have access to the connections that I do. If a bra is unhooked in the diva’s locker room I am the first to hear about it so I can get to the scene as quickly as possible to capture the footage on camera that the XWL Universe really want to see.

-Jeremy Borash-
Wait, do you actually have something like that on camera?

-Alex Shelley-
Not now, JB, tonight isn’t about the diva’s tonight is about Wade Barrett as I was graciously given the opportunity to avenge what happened to deal ol’ Mikey a few weeks ago who just hasn’t been the same since Wade… had his way with my fellow Detroitian.

-Jeremy Borash-
Detroit-ian? Is that a thing?

-Alex Shelley-
It will be soon, just… just give it some time, all right? These things don’t just happen overnight, JB. Luckily in the meantime, we’ve got a job to do. I spoke to my source on the inside..

-Jeremy Borash-
Who?

-Alex Shelley-
Janet.

-Jeremy Borash-
The janitor? How’s she doing.

-Alex Shelley-
She’s hanging in there; her knee isn’t what it used to be and her husband is still in jail but life goes on.

-Jeremy Borash-
What a shame; she’s such a nice woman.

-Alex Shelley-
Yes, she is because she went out of her way to “take care of” Wade Barrett’s locker room door giving us the go ahead to sneak in and see what our friend from across the pond does when he’s not sipping tea and eating crumpets.

-Jeremy Borash-
We’re just going to walk in?

-Alex Shelley-
Without even knocking. Let’s do this thing.

Shelley hands JB the camera and the two begin making their way through the hallways. Finally they stop at a door that must lead into Barrett’s locker room and Shelley reaches for the doorknob but freezes. He slowly bends forward and presses his ear against the door.

-Alex Shelley-
I hear a voice inside; stay on your tip-toes JB, and don’t make a sound.

Shelley slowly pulls open the door, and squats down so that JB can stand over him while aiming the camera through the small slit. Inside the room we see Wade Barrett standing in front of a mirror and Shelley does his best to stifle his laughter so as to not alert Wade to his unwanted presence.

[Wade Barrett]
But I'm afraid I've got some bad news. America nobody likes you hahahaha!

Barrett is taking an almost narcissistic pride in practicing delivering "bad news". He has a glint in his eye and clearly thinks he is the best thing in the world in the privacy of his locker room. He clears his throat before continuing much to the amusement of Shelley who can barely contain his laughter.

[Wade Barrett]
I've got some BAD news! *cough* I've got some bad news! I'm afraid.... I've got some bad news! Hmmm... But I've got some... bad... news!

Barrett is now varying his tone and emphasis on the phrase, sounding completely ridiculous. He strokes his beard completely oblivious to the fact that he is being watched.

[Wade Barrett]
Perfection. Look at you. You look like a champion.

Barrett begins throwing hooks and jabs admiring himself while continuing to praise himself in a very embarrassing manner.

[Wade Barrett]
A few years ago you were a clean-shaven greenhorn who fell into success. Now you look like a champion and you have the experience as well as the ability to be better than ever. That rat-faced Ambrose has nothing on you. He'll have to face his own bad news once I win the Money In The Bank briefcase at Final Stand that's for sure... or who knows. Maybe Ted will get a blast from the past...

JB can’t take it anymore, he bursts out laughing and Barrett turns around sharply and stares daggers at him and the next sound the XWL interviewer makes is an audible gulp.

-Alex Shelley-
JB! I think he’s on to us! Run!

As Barrett begins advancing on the two members of Paparazzi Productions, Shelley slams the locker room door shut to buy them more time then he pushes JB before taking off down the hallway behind him. JB turns a corner and faster than Shelley’s brain can process, JB falls and Shelley trips over his body.

-Alex Shelley-
There’s nothing on the ground! What did you trip over?!

-Jeremy Borash-
I’m not an athlete, okay?

-Alex Shelley-
You were running for your life, not a 100K!

-Jeremy Borash-
It’s just been so long since I’ve had to move that quickly.

-Alex Shelley-
Are you ki—Is the camera okay? Without that we have nothing.

-Jeremy Borash-
I.. I think it’s fine, the light is still blin—

-Alex Shelley-
Shh! I think I hear him!

Barrett’s footsteps can be heard as he quickly makes his way down the hallway in search of the two peeping toms and there’s no telling what he’ll do when he gets his hands on them. Shelley and JB get off the ground JB turns to run, but Shelley hands him the camera and tells him to stay put.

-Alex Shelley-
I think we, or rather you, made it clear that running isn’t an option and as much as I feel that this is all your fault, I’d feel a little guilty for leaving you behind.

-Jeremy Borash-
What are we going to do?

-Alex Shelley-
This isn’t the first time I’ve had to talk down an angry Englishman, though I guess it’s a little different because there’s no English girlfriend involved… at least not yet.

Barrett turns the corner and freezes in his steps when he spots his prey. He does that signature part-scowl, part-smirk of his while cracking his knuckles though Shelley holds his arms up defensively clearly not looking for a fight.

-Alex Shelley-
Hey, Wade, you listen here, all right. I spent five hours playing Mortal Kombat last night I learned moves you’ve never seen before. I haven’t actually tried doing them yet or anything, but I am not afraid to make you the first victim.

Barrett edges ever closer with malicious intent burning in his eyes.

[Wade Barrett]
Who exactly do you two think you are? Invading my privacy?

As Wade steps towards his prey, he breaks into a sinister grin as he sees the color drain out of Shelley's face. He begins addressing him in a condescending tone.

[Wade Barrett]
And this isn't some video game Shelley... this is real. Do you know what I could do to you right now if I wanted to? I've fought men twice your size in bare-knuckle brawls and beaten them so badly their own wives couldn't recognize them! What are you going to do? Throw a fireball at me?

Shelley almost responds with an answer about there being barely any fireballs in Mortal Kombat before thinking better of it.

[Wade Barrett]
Luckily for you I'm a reasonable gentleman and not some violent meat-headed idiot who just flies off the handle like the majority of the locker room. So just hand over the tape and we'll forget this ever happened... or somebody can get hurt... it's your choice. The ball's in your court...

-Jeremy Borash-
You can’t do that, Alex!

-Alex Shelley-
Quiet JB; I’ve got this. I’m afraid I can’t do that, Wade. This tape right here is going to be worth so much money and it would be terribly against our business practices to just hand it over. I’ve got some good news for you though, pal, the option to forget this all ever happened, well that’s still on the table.

-Jeremy Borash-
Until the video ends up online.

-Alex Shelley-
Dammit, you’re not helping.

-Jeremy Borash-
Sorry!

-Alex Shelley-
Look, Wade, I know right now you’re a little upset, but that’s because we’re still in the heat of the moment, you know? A couple of days from now when we’re rich off your misfortune, and you’re still… doing whatever it is that you do… we’ll look back on today and laugh.

[Wade Barrett]
Do you honestly believe I'm going to just let you walk out of here with that tape? You're not going anywhere until you hand it over. And you'd better hand it over right now or things are going to start to get a little messy...

Barrett cracks his knuckles and locks a murderous gaze on the two men.

-Alex Shelley-
Easy there, bud, I’m sure there’s a better, more conventional way to settle all of this, without resorting to violence. I mean, sure we’re wrestlers and we’re kind of paid to be violent, but we’re not barbarians. If we stop and just take a moment to think about it I’m sure that we’ll find an option that appeals to the both of us…. Got it! Hey, how do you feel about tic tac toe?

[Wade Barrett]
Tic tac toe? What are you, 10 years old? I'm not here to play games, I'm not a child... I'm a grown man. And men settle things with a reasonable conversation or with their fists. And seeing as a reasonable conversation is out of the question due to your childish ways, how about you just hand over the tape, before I hit you so hard you'll think you're still in Japan and won't even make it out to the ring tonight for our match...

-Alex Shelley-
Our match! Right! Don’t listen to what the naysayers are whispering about you, pal, there is something going on in that noggin of yours. If you want the footage all you have to do is beat me in the ring tonight, 1,2,3.. bang! Bang! Bang! Sounds simple, right? Well actually, I just want to remind you that it was you I beat to become United States Champion so you may have to hype yourself up in front of that mirror a little more to give yourself a fighting chance.

[Wade Barrett]
A lot has changed since then... for one, you're without that boyfriend of yours for moral support. Instead you have this crazed lunatic fan with a camera following you everywhere...

-Jeremy Borash-
Um... Mr Barrett... sir. My name is JB. Jeremy Borash. I actually have a job here in XWL as interviewer.

[Wade Barrett]
Oh you have a job here? Congratulations. And as an interviewer no less. You mother must be so proud of you...

-Jeremy Borash-
She is actually...

[Wade Barrett]
But you're an interviewer I've never seen or heard of, so obviously you're not very good at your job because otherwise you'd be interviewing me. Instead, you're following around this waste of space like some sad, lost puppy scraping the barrel together for footage for some mundane series of videos by invading people's privacy, which might I add, is a felony.

Barrett turns back to Shelley.

[Wade Barrett]
If I agree to this stipulation, how do I know you won't double-cross me and release the video footage before or after our match anyway? The way I see it, I have nothing but your word and I have no reason to trust anything you say. You have some leverage over me... where's my leverage over you?

Shelley runs his hand over his head as he tries to figure something out on the spot.

-Alex Shelley-
I got it! Wade… *Shelley takes off his wrist band* I want you to have this: my lucky wrist band. I have been through a lot of wars with this bad boy, and it would be truly heartbreaking if I were never to be reunited with it again. Isn’t that right, JB?

-Jeremy Borash-
What? Um… Oh yeah, right! He wasn’t wearing it the night he lost the United States Championship.

-Alex Shelley-
Forgot it in my other pair of tights; pretty silly of me, right?

-Jeremy Borash-
B—but then he found it last week and…

-Alex Shelley-
I’m sure Mr. Barrett here saw what happened; he’s one of my biggest fans after all. The power of this band speaks for itself so I think it’s a as fair a trade as any for our tape. So what do you say?

[Wade Barrett]
I think I've wasted just about enough time wasting my breath on you and playing your stupid games, so hand it over!

Barrett swings a big right hook in Shelley's direction, but like a gazelle, Shelley majestically ducks under it in a dodge any martial artist or action hero would be proud of, inadvertently causing Barrett to deck JB knocking him out cold as he falls to the floor like a sack of potatoes. The camera JB was holding falls though it lands in a way that allows the people to still see what’s going on.. even if they have to tilt their heads now to do so. Nearby XWL staff see the commotion and rush onto the scene restraining Barrett as he tries and fails to land another shot, this time on it's intended target. As Barrett is carried away despite his struggles against the numerous security guards he screams...

[Wade Barrett]
I'LL GET YOU SHELLEY!

Shelley shakes his head while slipping his wrist band back on and muttering to himself.

-Alex Shelley-
Turn down my offer then try to break my camera, huh? I guess there’s only one way to repay you for that; I’ll you in the ring, Wade Barrett.

-Jeremy Borash-
Help…

A voice calls out weekly and Shelley turns around, remembers that JB was caught in the crossfire too and helps him off the ground.

-Jeremy Borash-
Did he… did he get the tape?

-Alex Shelley-
It’s okay… it’s safe with us for now.

Shelley picks the camera and hits a button that turns off the feed.

As Breakdown returns from a commercial break we’re thrust into the heat of the action as Wade Barrett shoots Alex Shelley across the ring in a set up for the winds of change but Shelley wisely hangs onto the ropes stopping his forward momentum. Barrett growls then charges at his foe and ends up in a trap when Shelley tugs down on the top rope causing Barrett to take a tumble out of the ring!

Shelley pounds on the mat as his works his way to his feet and the people begin clapping along as the man who hails from Detroit tries to get something going here. Shelley races to the opposite end of the ring, bounces off the ropes and comes running back toward Barrett with a head full of steam! Shelley dives through the ropes looking for the suicide di—BULL HAMMER!

Barrett knocks Shelley out cold in mid-air with an absolutely vicious and sickening elbow to the head and his victim definitely saw it coming but had no means of protecting himself from the deadly blow. Despite their hatred for Barrett the people can’t help but pop for that move, but then they fall into a low murmur as they realize that that elbow could spell the end for their hero.

With that smug look on his face, Barrett arrogantly raises his right arm in the air then thrusts it forward while shouting “Boom” at the top of his lungs. He picks up the lifeless body of Shelley off the ground and rolls under the bottom rope and into the ring. Barrett climbs onto the apron and has one foot between the ropes but then freezes as he watches in dismay as Shelley continues rolling until he fall out of the ring on the other side.

The people in attendance laugh but Barrett doesn’t quite see the humor in the situation and tells them all to shut their mouths before hopping off the apron and walking around the ring to retrieve Shelley. When Barrett gets to the other side he double takes because Shelley is nowhere to be seen! Barrett lifts up the ring skirt to check to see if Shelley’s hiding under there but his search fails to yield the desired results.

Barrett throws down the skirt and eats two boots to the face courtesy of Shelley. After hitting the baseball slide kick, Shelley rolls onto the apron, and when Barrett turns around he leaps off the apron with a knee but Barrett side steps him and Shelley stumbles for a few steps when he lands outside the ring. He turns around and eats a boot to the gut delivered by Barrett then the Bare Knuckle Brawler grabs a hand full of Shelley’s hair forcing his head back and yells, “I’ve just about had enough of your games” moments before headbutting Shelley and watching with a smirk as he collapses to the ground.

Barrett again lifts up the ring skirt but this time he doesn’t return empty-handed as he’s now brandishing a steel chair in his hands. Barrett charges forward and drives the weapon into Shelley’s gut doubling him over, then brings it down hard onto his back. Boos come pouring down as Barrett backs up waiting for Shelley to get to his feet. Once he’s up, Barrett takes a swing but hits the steel post as Shelley gets out of harm’s way!

He drops the chair and shakes his hands while pain shoots up both arms. He turns around and catches the wristband that Shelley tosses at him and before he can figure out what to do with it Shelley nails a side kick to the gut and screams out, “How’s that for lucky?” before setting up his opponent for the Sliced Bread. Shelley steps off the steel stairs, but Barrett throws him off before he can hit the maneuver.

Shelley lands on his feet behind Barrett and tries to grabs him in a rear waist lock, but Barrett quickly elbows his way out of that predicament. Shelley staggers backwards and when Barrett turns around Shelley dashes at him but Barrett sees it coming and throws up his knee locking for the kitchen sink only Shelley’s able to think quickly and gets Barrett in a school boy pin.

Shelley rolls Barrett onto his knees while standing up himself and nails the Englishman with a superkick! Shelley backs up to create a little space then connects with a second superkick, this one more impactful than the last. Shelley grabs the steel chair off the ground and slams into onto Wade’s knee eliciting a great cry of pain. Shelley drags Wade over to the ring and rolls him back inside then climbs onto the apron to get to the top rope.

The crowd is on their feet as they watch Shelley slowly stand up straight on the top rope. He flips Barrett off before jumping off but his double foot stomp attempt doesn’t pay off as Barrett is able to roll out of harm’s way. Shelley does a barrel roll to get back onto his feet then races at Wade only to get scooped up in a fireman’s carry! Barrett is looking to end this match with Wasteland but he’s still feeling that chair-shot to the knee and is now limping around the ring while Shelley relentlessly rakes his eyes.

Barrett finally sets him down and Shelley turns the table by lifting Barrett onto his shoulders to go for Automatic Midnight, but Barrett slips out of his grasp and drops Shelley with a reverse DDT. Barrett calls for the ends of the match as he pulls Shelley up to his feet by the head and grabs his wrist in preparation for the Bullhammer. Barrett spins Shelley around and jerks him in his direction and misses the elbow as Shelley ducks under it!

Barrett still has hold of Shelley’s wrist and gets spun around when Shelley evades the strike yet somehow has the wherewithal to duck under an enzuigiri attempt. Shelley gets up and Barrett pushes him backwards into the ropes then hits the Winds of Change when Shelley bounces off! Barrett hooks the leg when he goes for the pin: One! Two! Kick out!

Barrett’s eyes go wide as he sits up. His anger is clear as he grabs The Ref by the shirt and starts screaming at him. Something catches his eye and Barrett throws The Ref to the ground to get a better look at Shelley’s camera set up on a tripod outside the ring! A thought crosses Barrett’s mind as he begins making his way over to the ropes to exit the ring. Why worry about beating Shelley and taking his word when he can just destroy the evidence right now?

The boos are back in full force as Barrett tries to figure out what to do about the camera. He eventually gets fed up and grabs the tripod and raises it into the air ready to bring the camera crashing to the ground as if he were holding a sledgehammer but before he can go through with his devious plan Shelley dives through the ropes and takes Barrett out with a suicide dive! Shelley grabs the camera and races up the ramp and out of the arena and when Barrett comes to his senses he races after him.

The camera cuts back to the ring and The Ref just throws up his hands unsure of what to do about this. It doesn’t look like either Barrett or Shelley are going to be returning anytime soon so the fans will have to take rain check on this match.

XWL Breakdown returns from the commercial break and we see none other than the former Intercontinental Champion, John Morrison, standing in the hallway. He's stopped by a cameraman who starts up a conversation with him...

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 Bmb7EWW

[Cameraman]: Hey John. Haven't seen much of you around here lately.

[John Morrison]: I've pretty much been doing my own thing as of lately. With the direction this company is going in, there isn't really much of a reason to stick around much longer.

[Cameraman]: Are you just going to give up? Aren't you the same one that was on Alex Shelley's case about leaving XWL briefly to head to Japan?

[John Morrison]: Not that I recall. Let me correct myself. There isn't much of a reason to show any effort or passion in this company as it seems because that's what gets you noticed around here, isn't it? You walk around here moping and unhappy and that's when management starts to notice that you truly aren't happy with your position. I've seen it happen. So no... I'm not giving up on my dream of being the best in this business... well it isn't much of a dream, it's reality. But anyways, there's no way I'm leaving this company until I have achieved all that I came here to achieve and that's become to XWL World Heavyweight Champion.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 XZdNxns

[Cameraman]: So do you think not doing much will help you to reach that goal?

[John Morrison]: Not doing much? Do you own a television? Have you been living under a rock? How long have you been working out? For the majority of 2013, I was the Intercontinental Champion, I've defeated the whole XWL roster, including divas, announcers and general managers, there's no one in this company doing more than me. I'm just patiently waiting for my achievements to be recognized so I'll fall back for the time being. Maybe if I fall back, more guys will have a chance to attain the greatness I have.

[Cameraman]: Cocky much.

[John Morrison]: Confidence. Say it with me. Confidence. C-O-N-F-I-D-E-N-C-E.

[Cameraman]: Maybe next time. Before I go, any thoughts about your falls count anywhere match with Edge?

[John Morrison]: If he's anything like Christian, I shouldn't have much of a problem dealing with him. I've proved myself time after time that stipulations do not phase me and do not affect my performance. Tonight should be something easy.

[Cameraman]: Well John, good luck on your match tonight. Nice talking to you.

With that, the cameraman extends his hand for a handshake. John acknowledges the handshake with his eyes and nods to the cameraman before walking off the camera and heading to the locker room. The camera fades to black and we head to the next segment...

*The first thing heard as this weeks edition of Breakdown fades back into view is Paige's theme slowly beginning to die out, as the self proclaimed “Anti-Diva” stands in the ring, with a microphone in hand, as the live audience in attendance is heard booing her out of the building after her actions last week. What was supposed to be two friends hashing things out ended up turning into nothing more than a cleverly laid out plan by Paige that left her as the only woman left standing in the ring. Paige raises the microphone up to her mouth, unfazed by the boos, and begins to speak.*

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 KWGMEzV

{Paige}
Seven days, that's how much time I've given you to process things, Layla. After I “lay'd” you out last week, is there any doubt in your mind that this “friendship” can be saved? That was a play on words, a pun, a joke, something your career has been since you put an end to the United Queendom. Sure, you're the Divas Champion, you beat AJ Lee to become champion. That's not an accomplishment, that is a travesty.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 KN3hbT6

{Paige}
You became Divas Champion without pinning the former champion, you did what your friend, Kaitlyn, did at Final Stand last year, you took the easy way out. Then you go on to rub it in my face that I'm not champion, you sunk to a new low when you put that championship around my waist. If that would have been anybody else, they would have been on Cloud Nine, but I'm not like most “divas.”

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 CuTd01F

{Paige}
After you gave me a “taste” of what it's like to have that championship around my waist, I returned the favor and gave you a “taste” of what happens when you annoy me. What did you think was going to happen? That it was going to fix the problem and we were going into Final Stand as friends? If you truly believed that, then you had it coming.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 XrijirG

{Paige}
You have something that I want, something that I've fought for years to attain, but every time I got close, you came along and took my eyes off the prize. I've only fought for the Divas Championship once in my time here, and it wasn't even a one on one, because if it was, I would be standing in this ring as Divas Champion right now, but that's not the case, is it?

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 EU7FohA

{Paige}
I'm going to undo the travesty that transpired at last years Final Stand when I finally get my one on one shot at the Divas Champion. It's been a year in the making, and after all these distractions and after all these roadblocks, I will take what I believe is rightfully mine: The Divas Championship.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 KQ23jht

{Paige}
After I sent a message to our esteemed Divas Champion, I went on to defeat a “diva” that hopes to call herself Miss Money in the Bank for the second time in her career, a “diva” that, should she be successful in climbing a ladder to win a briefcase that grants her a shot at my soon to be Divas Championship, will fail her cash in attempt. I am, of course, talking about Madison Eagles.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 SIwMi8q

{Paige}
Tonight, I take on yet another “diva” that's in the Miss Money in the Bank Ladder Match at Final Stand in Nikki Bella, a “diva” I've beaten time and time again, and tonight won't be any different. I'm going to use Nikki Bella to send another message to our Divas Champion, a message that tells her that her days as Divas Champion are numbered.

*Almost as if on cue, the theme of the reigning Divas Champion, Layla, begins to play throughout the arena, much to the approval of the live audience in attendance. Paige looks towards the stage as the crowd continues to cheer the impending arrival of the current champion. A few moments later, Layla walks out from behind the curtain, but not in her usual manner, causing murmurs to start being exchanged between members of the live audience in attendance. She looks almost out of it, seemingly due to how last week went down, clearly not going in the way she thought it would. The only thing that doesn't have an aura of uncertainty is the Divas Championship, which is hanging over Layla's shoulder as she begins walking down the ramp, not even looking at Paige.*

*The fans in the front row extend their arms out towards Layla, in hopes of having her slap their hands, but to no avail. Layla doesn't even seem to notice them, seemingly in a world of her own. She makes it to the bottom of the ramp and begins to walk towards the ring steps, a potential internal conflict ensuing. After slowly entering the ring, she takes a step forward and remains avoiding eye contact with Paige, causing the self proclaimed “Anti-Diva” to extend her microphone towards Layla, a clear ploy on her part. After a few more moments of silence, Paige pulls the microphone away from her and shrugs before speaking again.*

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 Jz56ryt

{Paige}
If you're not going to say anything, I guess I will. I'll answer the question that's on your mind first, Layla, “why?” I'll counter that obvious question with another, why not? You took it upon yourself to end the United Queendom, by kicking me in the face no less. If that would have just been the first part of the sentence, then I would have been fine with that, it was bound to happen one way or another, but it's the second part of it that gets me.

*Layla does react to Paige's words, instead opting to remain disconnected from the current conversation, leaving Paige to seemingly talk to herself.*

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 D3ZSOb3

{Paige}
The kick heard around the world, the kick that put me down for a three count, the kick that not only ended our team, but allowed The Bellas to continue. If you think that kick will work on me at Final Stand, then you have another thing coming. If that's your plan, it's already doomed to fail. You had the element of surprise when you hit it the first time, and was I surprised, but it won't help you the first time.

*Again, Layla doesn't seem to process what's going on in the ring, still remaining in her trance like state, as a look that resembles annoyance appears on Paige's face. It quickly fades before she begins to speak again.*

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 0BDVIQ8

{Paige}
I know what you want to hear, Layla, and here it is: I'm sorry.

*Layla slowly looks up, her eyes eventually meeting Paige's, an almost sincere smile appearing on her face as Layla looks on, a part of her knowing this is nothing more than a trap, while another holds out the hope that this could, in fact, be sincere.*

{Paige}
I'm sorry... that you're too stupid to see when someone is lying right to your face. Do you really believe that I'll be your friend after everything you've done? You may have been my “friend,” but I was never yours.

*Paige's words cut deeper than they appear, Layla's expression changing to one that comes across at her being hurt by Paige's words of truth.*

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 7usamhf

{Paige}
Don't fret, Layla, I'll sink down to your level so I could tell you this face to face: I may be walking into Final Stand as your challenger, but I'm walking out with the Divas Championship, and there isn't a damn thing you could do about it. But I truly am sorry, I'm sorry that I didn't finish what I started last week.

*Without warning, the palm of Paige's hand meets Layla's face, causing the echo of the ear piercing slap to be heard well into the crowd. Layla staggers backwards, clearly being caught off guard by Paige's actions, and drops down to a knee, holding on to the second rope to keep herself up. A smirk now graces Paige's face, as she rises back up to her feet. She takes a step forward, ready to finish what she started, but almost suddenly, Layla pulls herself up off the canvas and drops Paige down to the canvas with a well timed tackle and begins unloading on her fellow Brit.*

*Paige covers up, or at least tries to, managing to cushion the blows but not as much as she would like. Layla takes two handfuls of Paige's hair and begins slamming the back of her skull onto the canvas repeatedly. Not being one to be outdone, Paige turns the tide of the brawl into her corner and returns the favor, driving Layla's head into the canvas. That doesn't last long as Layla's crusade with her sanity has reached another level and led to her being back in control, launching Paige out of the ring through the middle rope and causing her to crash onto the outside with a thud.*

*Layla slides out of the ring and begins to tend to Paige, who is trying to shake the cobwebs out, clearly not wanting to bring harm to her “friend.” She helps Paige up to her feet, causing Paige to push her away, but Layla retaliates, shoving Paige back and sending her back first into the announcers table. Paige holds her lower back in pain but Layla isn't done there, she follows up by taking a hold of Paige's arm and shoots her into the ring steps with an Irish Whip.*

*Paige collides into the steps , going shoulder first into them and nearly causing them to tip over. Layla takes a step towards Paige, a look of concern appearing on her face while Paige holds her shoulder in pain. Another few steps later and Layla is down on a knee, helping her up to her feet. Even after everything that has happened between them, Layla still treats Paige as her friend, but why? Paige looks at Layla, a smile appearing on her face, causing Layla to return the gesture. A split second later, Paige's smile is quickly revealed to be a trap and she quickly attempts to send Layla into the announcers table, but Layla is one step ahead, instead turning the maneuver around on Paige and sends her flying over the announcers table.*

*With Paige seemingly being neutralized for the moment, Layla drops down to her knees, letting out an ear piercing scream. Tears begin to form in her eyes as she runs both her hands through her hair, to the point where she begins to accidentally pull out a few strands. Layla shouts out, “You were supposed to be my friend!” before looking down at her Divas Championship, realizing that it's the reason for the end of their friendship, and Paige's desire to become champion led to her throwing their friendship out the window for a shot to be Divas Champion. The tears rolling down her face temporarily blind her, causing her to bring a hand to her face and wipes them away. The last image shown is Layla having her personal breakdown, while Paige tries to make it back to her feet before the screen fades to black.*

Breakdown returns from a commercial break to the sound of a question...

ARE YOU READY?

The answer is "yes" as the crowd goes into a frenzy as on cue, "Mr Final Stand" Shawn Michaels and "The King Of Kings" Triple H appear on the stage.

[Jim Ross]
Welcome back to Breakdown ladies and gentlemen!  We are just three weeks away from the showcase of the immortals, the biggest show in XWL's calendar year... Final Stand!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
And what a show we have lined up so far JR!  And here come two men with clear goals in mind.

[Jim Ross]
Right you are King.  For Triple H, it's a story of redemption and revenge as he looks to punish Chris Jericho for his actions over the past couple of months in what has turned out to be one of the most personal and violent rivalries in recent memory.  Inside Hell In A Cell with two men hell-bent on destruction just like Jericho and The Game, there can only be one outcome... a match that will be remembered.  For Shawn Michaels, it's all about justifying his name of Mr Final Stand and the right to call himself the Intercontinental Champion.  Shawn has been one of the greatest Intercontinental Champions in some time and he has yet to disappoint at "The Granddaddy of them all".  Will this year be the year Shawn fails to live up to the hype?  You'd be a fool to bet against him.

[Michael Cole]
Well, I would...

DX are now at the bottom of the ramp, taking a few moments to pander to the audience and suck up their appreciation.  Masses of DX glowsticks and arms locked in "X" signs can be seen throughout the arena.

[Michael Cole]
Backing two clowns like Triple H and Shawn Michaels instead of Chris Jericho and Sheamus is a dumb move whichever way you look at it.  I don't think DX take this business seriously anymore...

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
How can you say that?  Shawn lays his life on the line for these fans every time he sets foot in that ring.  Nobody works harder than he does.  Not to mention he didn't look like much of a clown when he got some revenge on Jericho a few weeks back... Shawn still knows how to turn on the heat when it's needed.  And against Sheamus, Shawn will need an inferno to to stand toe to toe with the Great White!  Not to mention Shawn is also in the Money In The Bank ladder match... it's going to be a memorable night for Shawn whatever the outcome!

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 KLFFopA

[Jim Ross]
And as for Triple H, you're forgetting that underneath it all, he is one of the most ruthless, sadistic individuals to ever set foot in that ring.  "The Cerebral Assassin" has done unspeakable things in the past to both friend and foe alike.  Chris Jericho will be on the receiving end of that come April 4th... and you'd be hard pushed to find anyone who would trade positions with him.

DX skip their usual pyrotechnics tonight and get right down to it, each grabbing a microphone.  Deafening DX chants can be heard from the XWL faithful and Triple H allows their voices to be heard before beginning to speak.  After a few moments, he eventually begins speaking...

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 UE4ILfl

[Triple H]
ATLANTA!.... Are you ready?

The crowd explodes into cheers.  Triple H gets all fired up.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 8oiRI4J

[Triple H]
NO!  I SAID... ARE... YOU.... READY?!?

Again, a huge roar of cheers from the fans as they give their response.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 39QxZvs

[Triple H]
Then... for the thousands in attendance... and the millions watching at home around the world... and for Chris Jericho and Sheamus, who at Final Stand... will fall flat on their faces as Shawn and I beat the liviing crap out of them... OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...
LET'S GET READY TO... SUCK IIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!

The crowd mimics Triple H's final words and again erupt into an excited frenzy.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 EJoj2Vi

[Shawn Michaels]
And if you're not down with that, we've got 2 words for ya!

Shawn raises his mic as the fans again repeat a deafening "SUCK IT!"  DX again let the chants rise up for a few moments before The Game steps closer to his buddy and starts to speak again.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 8AYvYaS

[Triple H]
You hear that Shawn?  And this was WCW's home.  How exactly did it fail with fans this awesome?

The crowd acknowledges the appreciation and chant ever louder.

[Triple H]
Well, I guess it didn't have either of us on the books for one...

[Shawn Michaels]
But you did wrestle there...

Triple H becomes wide eyed as he talks sarcastically.

[Triple H]
No Shawn that never happened.  It was a figment of your imagination.  You were hallucinating a lot at the time because of your demons, remember?  After all, who'd wrestle for Eric Bischoff if they had the choice?  It'd be worse than listening to every Fozzy single on repeat for a week... actually on second thoughts, WCW would be more appealing.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 Uo1sztd

[Shawn Michaels]
You're right...I mean I remember back in the good 'ol days... I was sat at home watching WCW and there was this one guy...Terra..Terra Ryzing or something like that...By god he was terrible! You should've seen him! He had this stupid blonde hair, some horrible purple robe...You'd have hated that guy!

[Triple H]
Erm..Shawn...

[Shawn Michaels]
I know what you're gonna say! I'm being a little harsh...so Terra or whatever your name is..if you're watching..I'm sorry. But anyway...WCW isn't the reason we're out here tonight.... Final Stand is just 3 weeks away and I have not one..but two of the biggest matches of my career in that one night. Not only am I defending my Intercontinental Championship against Sheamus... I will compete against 3 other men with a chance of climbing a ladder and becoming Mr.Money In The Bank! I've had my fair share of ladder matches... Hell, I was even in the first ever ladder match. So not only will I leave Final Stand still Intercontinental champion...I will also leave Final Stand with the Money In The Bank briefcase! ..But more importantly than that...Final Stand will be night that my partner..my best friend...destroys Chris Jericho.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 HX4GmME

[Triple H]
I could stand out here all night and talk about Chris Jericho... about his stupid hair... his boring books... his boyband... his lame tattoos... but I'm not going to.  Jericho isn't worth our breath Shawn.  I think we can both agree on that.  At Final Stand, I think I've made it crystal clear what I intend on doing to him and I know for a fact that after the night is over, he'll be in a hell of a lot worse condition than you or me.  Jericho doesn't know what he's got himself into by disrespecting me, by disrespecting you and by disrespecting D-Generation X.  Inside Hell In A Cell... Jericho will get what's coming to him.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 2PAaN7w

[Triple H]
But enough about Jericho for now.  Why don't we use this time to make fun of the big white doofus Sheamus?  I mean, he's such an obvious target and we've yet to crack any jokes about him.  Plus he's Irish... and it is St Patrick's Day this week after all.  I bet he's already stumbling around backstage, drunk out of his mind making his own personal St Patricks day last days, maybe even weeks, trying to block out the thought of stepping in the ring with you Shawn.  After all, there's no way you can lose to a giant pale ginger guy, who happens to have a lisp and an Irish accent right?  Just imagine if you did... it'd be hilarious!  Sorry man... but I'd never let you live it down.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 VHQ8vh3

[Shawn Michaels]
I know..I know... how could anyone lose to someone like Sheamus? I mean..You'd never lose to him, right? I certainly won't! At Final Stand, I will put a end to this so called "run" by Sheamus when I kick his teeth down his throat, then he can go back to Ireland and drown his sorrows all he wants..knowing that he just doesn't quite match up to the The Heartbreak Kid. But you know..we could be selling Sheamus short, he is a former World Champion..after he had many..many shots at the world championship! But something tells me...he's no longer the same, he doesn't live up to his past. Sheamus is far off what he used to be and at Final Stand...I prove that.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 UtcfpYs

[Triple H]
Just make sure you look out for his lucky charms.  I hear that's why he's doing so well lately.  Apparently he has a bunch of them shoved down his trunks...  yeah I don't get it either.  And I have no idea how someone found that out.  But that's the only way I think he has a chance of beating you Shawn... some freaky Irish voodoo curse crap.  But you have God and Jesus on your side so that kinda balances it out I guess.  You're going to do DX proud by walking into Final Stand as Intercontinental Champion... and by walking out as Intercontinental Champion with a guaranteed World title shot.  At least one of us is doing well right?  You've got this buddy.  I believe in you.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 PcN49vs

[Shawn Michaels]
Well..it's not just about me.. We already know what you're going to do at Final Stand..then after you've destroyed Jericho..maybe you can go on to recapture the United States Championship and DX can once again reign supreme over XWL. Final Stand is a huge night for D-Generation X, We're both in the biggest battles of our careers...and I have some match against Sheamus. But everybody knows that when it comes to you and I...we always shine on the biggest stage and it doesn't get any bigger than Final Stand.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 LZfAlFi

[Triple H]
That sounds like a plan.  This isn't our first rodeo... maybe we've had more than our fair share... but you're right.  This year, we could have the biggest battles of our careers.  You have two matches and that's going to be tough for you at your age, but you're not the greatest of all time for nothing.  And while we like to belittle Jericho but we know just as well as anyone what he's capable of especially after what he's done over the past couple of months.  But what Jericho doesn't realize is what I'm capable of.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 NqqAMUW

[Triple H]
I have hurt many who have opposed me... I have crippled people... and I have ended careers!  When Jericho sets foot inside Hell In A Cell he will have to face the fact that he will not be walking out of Final Stand of his own free will!  I will-

Triple H is then cut off by the voice of Chris Jericho

Hey Junior..Up here!

The attention of DX immediately turns up to the big screen as Jericho continues to talk

[Chris Jericho]
Once again you are both stood in that ring filling your fans with false hope, false hope that you two will actually achieve your dreams at Final Stand. That's exactly what they are, and exactly what they will still be come Final Stand. Shawn...What exactly have you done with that Intercontinental Championship? You've not defended that championship in over two months...and let's face it Shawn...You defended it against the likes of Alex Shelley... Someone who I could beat any night of the year..yet you just scraped by, You got that lucky superkick and retained your championship. As far as Money in the Bank goes...It's a travesty that you're in that match and I'm not, Not only did I once again get screwed out of my rightful rematch for the World Championship now the so called "Showstopper" gets in the Money in the Bank and I don't? But I hate to be the one to break it to you Shawn... You're not going to win The Money in the Bank ladder match, You're not going to retain that Intercontinental Championship...You have this idea in your head that you're the old Shawn Michaels, You still think you're the Showstopper, You still think you're the headliner...But you're nothing but a broken old man hanging onto his last bit of life, I proved that at Uprising when I left you as a bloody mess...

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 Dthm2_zps9149a28e
[Chris Jericho]
and Hunter...I could let you enjoy it, I could let you enjoy the hope that you will one day be as good as me, but at Final Stand all that hope will be gone. When you step inside that Hell in a Cell, You're walking into a fight, a fight you can't win. You can make your terrible jokes with Shawn right now but at Final Stand, You have no choice but to fight, You'll be locked inside that Cell with The best in the world at everything I do. Every week you try and tell me what your capable, but Hunter..I'm capable of much more. You saw first hand what I did to Shawn at Uprising. You sat in that ring, screaming and begging me to stop as I gave Shawn a beating worse than he's ever had before.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 B2X8u_zps82a0dc43
[Chris Jericho]
You will fall to the same fate at Final Stand, Hunter. The only difference between you and Shawn is you won't be coming back...

*As Breakdown cuts to the next segment we see the stage and then see the mini and titantrons light up for this theme and superstar.*

*Seth Rollins steps out to the stage, moshing and dancing his way to the ramp, the crowd giving him a very good response but there's a trace of heat in there which has to have come from what happened last week. Seth then stops and starts to slap hands with the fans while walking down the ramp, he then spots a few rabid Rollins fans facing him and he walks over and cheers with them*

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 017

[Jim Ross]
Here's Seth Rollins ladies and gentlemen, a fan favorite.

[Cole]
I don't why he should be one JR, he attacked one of the best talents in this company, Dolph Ziggler! The Show-Off the Show Stealer!

[King]
Oh yeah Cole, because you thought that way when Dolph was getting beat up by the Shield every week didn't you?

[Cole]
People change Jerry.

*Seth has stepped in the ring and there is an interviewer there waiting for him, prepared to rattle off hard questions. After a few moments he begins to address the audience.*

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 022

[Interviewer]
Ladies and Gents, I have with me a former King Of The Ring member. A former member of the Shield, Seth Rollins!

*The crowd pops minus the Ziggler fans.*

[Interviewer]
Let's get right to it. What was that between you and Dolph Ziggler last week?

*Seth then gives the interviewer almost a death glare and the man tenses up, for a few moments.*

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 025

*This continues for a few more moments before Seth looks away at the ground and begins to speak in a sarcastic tone.*

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 030

[Seth Rollins]
What do you think happened last week? Here, let me ask you a question. Have you ever been judged?

[Interviewer]
Uh, yeah

[Seth Rollins]
It doesn't feel good doesn't it?

[Interviewer]
No, it doesn't.

[Seth Rollins]
So why am I judged constantly? Why do I have to be the bad guy? Is it because of my hair? My choice of music? My devastating finishing move? People are always trying to tear me down, not the people in the stands.

*Seth then goes over to the side of the ring facing the jumbotron*

[Seth Rollins]
But the people back there. They reward bad behavior. Don't believe me? How did Dean Ambrose win the World Heavyweight Championship, how did Roman Reigns get in a position for a United States title shot? And if Chris Jericho wanted to, he probably could have got a shot at Shawn Michaels' Intercontinental Championship and would have won because he went after him viciously. What does this have to do with Dolph Ziggler? Well with management as ass-backwards as this company's of course they would make an arrogant prick like Dolph Ziggler look good when we bump into each other isn't that right Cole?

*Seth then walks over to the opposite side of the ring and faces Cole, who just takes off his headset and yells at Seth*

[Seth Rollins]
Oh really how about you come in the ring and say that to my face, c'mon Cole! Who here wants to see Cole versus Seth Rollins?

*Cole goes pinkid as the crowd explodes, they cheer for awhile while Seth just looks at Cole, that is until this theme hits*

As Ziggler walks out onto the stage with a microphone in his hand the crowd cheer for the Showoff as he signals for his theme to be cut-short as he slowly starts to walk down to the ring as he starts to speak

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 B6Dms

Dolph Ziggler: Just hold on a second Seth if you want to beat up Michael Cole then do it on your own time because nothing says I'm a good guy than beating up a guy that has no business being in the ring so good luck with that. But just so you know you're standing in my ring and that means you're on my time, and I'm not going to sit around listening to you moaning about the same old things every single week because quite frankly I'm sick of it.

As Dolph starts to speak again he puts on an overly-whiny voice clearly mocking Seth Rollins who as the camera switches to him Rollins is visibly less than amused with Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler: "Oh Roman Reigns is doing so much better without me, he's got a shot at the United States championship at Final Stand, and Dean Ambrose is World champion, why don't I ever get opportunities like that? Is it because I think everyone thinks I look weird, and I think everyone hates me because I listen to music? I just want to not fit in so I can complain about not fitting in." Wah, wah, wah. Just get over it already!

As he finishes speaking the crowd cheer for Dolph as he returns to speaking in his normal voice as he nears ringside

Dolph Ziggler: Here's a newsflash kid, you don't get those opportunities because you're not good enough to get those opportunities, and the reason Reigns and Ambrose are doing so much better without you is because they're just so much damn better without you holding them back. So I shouldn't be surprised you hit me with a sucker punch last week to try and make a name for yourself, because everyone knows without taking cheap shots you'd be irrelevant as your gimmick is stale.

Dolph walks up the ring steps and enters the ring, as he and Rollins stand either side of the ring as the #Heel continues speaking

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 MDjLb

Dolph Ziggler: So every time you feel like complaining about whatever it is you complain about, just remember that while you do that I'm doing to one thing I do better than anybody else and that's stealing the show so you can add that to the ever growing list to things that just aren't fair in the world according to Seth Rollins because you just can't keep up with me. In the ring, on the mic, in the back, with your girlfriend, you just don't compare to me on any level and you don't hear me complaining about it, because you just don't know how damn hard it is just being so damn good every single night, you don't hear me complaining about every single person that's ever doubted me, that's the difference between you and me. Every time, EVERY SINGLE TIME someone doubts me I come out here and I prove them wrong every single night, and you just complain about it, and try to blame everybody else but the one guy that can do anything about it and that's you, but we both know you don't have the guts to do it.

[Seth Rollins]
Really? If I'm complaining then you're delusional. You see you still think that you're as good as you were last year but the fact is, you've fallen off. Face it, when was the last time you were in contention for anything? And yeah, I'm not as "good" as Roman Reigns or Dean Ambrose, because while looks could be deceiving I'm not a prick that just beats innocent people up to get what I want, like you last week.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 040

[Seth Rollins]
It's funny how you've changed. You wern't calling on the side you are now when I was kicking your ass every week in the Shield but I get it, desperate men do desperate things. And you want to use me as a stepping stone to try and get back to the top, but you better not tread lightly because if you slip the fall will destroy you. Believe that!

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 Ixfit

As Rollins finishes speaking Ziggler takes a moment to soak up what he's just heard from Rollins before he responds to him

Dolph Ziggler: Believe? You want me... to Believe that? You know, what Seth, you're right I should believe that. I should believe that you really did kick my ass when you were in the Shield, and congratulations you kicked my ass all the time... when you had two other guys helping you, but now take a look around and you've got no one, unless you count the voices that you've clearly been listening too telling you whatever it is you want to hear, telling you that you're a stone even worth stepping on, truth is stepping in the ring with you isn't worth my time, what will it prove? And just so you know last time I was in contention for anything I was the World Heavyweight champion, last time you did anything worthwhile was two years ago when you turned up won the King of the Ring. So what you think you're a big shot now because you have a chance at having a chance at getting a shot at the Intercontinental championship? Well guess what, I've been there, done that TWICE, got the t-shirt, shown it off and stole the show, you're not even on my level. Never have been, never will.

 XWL Breakdown: 3/14/2014 - 3/21/2014 043

[Seth Rollins]
Yeah you might have gotten my number in the past, you have accomplishments but what have you done lately Dolph? And remember that main event on Breakdown last year? I took you to the limit when I was a poisoned, mindless drone of The Shield just imagine what I can do when I'm at my best and have these great people behind me. *The crowd pops* So you can show off all you want, but I won't back down.

*Seth then steps in front of Dolph into the eyes and the crowd noise rises in intensity as they might get to see a brawl for the ages until.........*

*The crowd boos instinctively as they wanted to see the fight between Seth and Dolph. Zack Ryder burst onto the stage "woo-woo-wooing" without a care in the world as a ref walks beside him, a gesture that signals the start of a Quest For Gold match as Dolph walks to the ropes and says "This isn't over" to which Seth says "You're damn right"  Ryder burts into the ring and tries to do a "Woo, Woo, WOO" chant with the crowd but it falls on deaf ears. The match then begins.*

Winner: Seth Rollins

As the match ends to an end the referee holds Seth's arm up in victory as his music starts to play following a hard fought victory

Jim Ross:  A big victory for Seth Rollins tonight against Zack Ryder, and who knows how far that could go in the Quest for Gold?

Dolph Ziggler: Just think Cole, if I waited any longer to come out here that could of been you.

Jerry "The King" Lawler: Nobody wanted to see that.

Michael Cole: And thank god for that, Seth wouldn't know what hit him.

Dolph Ziggler: He doesn't know a lot of things.

Jim Ross:  He was on his game tonight though, you can't deny that.  You can't say you weren't impressed.

Dolph Ziggler: Actually JR, I can say that, Rollins isn't an impressive person, in fact I think I'll go and show you just how unimpressed I am.

As Rollins continues to celebrate in the ring, Ziggler removes his headset and places it on the announcers table before standing up as the crowd cheer and he rushes the ring, with Rollins' back turned to him, and he runs at him hitting Seth Rollins with a Zig Zag!

Michael Cole: Zig Zag to Rollins!

Jerry "The King" Lawler:  I guess that was revenge for last week.

Jim Ross: I'm sure Seth heard that loud and clear, and how couldn't he. And you have to say he had it coming after last week.

Michael Cole: He has a lot more coming than that, let me tell you, just wait until I get my hands on him.

Standing tall over Rollins, Ziggler brushes his hands through his hair and flicks his hands down in Seth's direction as Breakdown heads to a commercial break
