*As Breakdown cuts back to the next segment we hear this theme.*



*The crowd pops at the sound of the rebellious multi-colored hair warrior named Seth Rollins. You can hear some boos thrown in there, but not as loud as last week. Rollins then steps out onto the stage and begins to mosh but not very much as he looks across and sees a sea of people and takes in what he is hearing. He smiles and slaps hands with the fans in the front row for a while and then walks into the ring, he then walks over and grabs a microphone, he then taps it to check to see if it's working before speaking.

[Seth Rollins]
Wow, I didn't expect that.

*The crowd pops more and Seth then chuckles bring a smile to his face something that we haven't seen in quite some time.*

[Michael Cole]
What a damn kiss-up.

[King]
What? He can't be nice to people Cole?

[Cole]
Well he needs to make up his mind, either pander to these idiots or not, don't flip flop every week just because you feel like it.

[JR]
I don't think it's that Cole, I just think that last week was a bad day for Seth, it happens to the best of us, I don't think Seth is a bad guy he just was worried about not getting in a Number One contenders match.

[Cole]
Well then you two must have bad days every day! And you weren't calling him a good guy when he was getting title matches were you JR?

*Before JR can respond Seth has begun talking again.*

[Seth Rollins]
Now I know you guys saw me put on an awesome match with Kenny King and I'll give the devil his due, he won fair and square *The crowd boos after hearing something good happened to Kenny King.* so that's not why I'm out here.

*Seth then turns and faces the stage.*

[Seth Rollins]
I'm out here to ask a certain someone why I'm not in the main event this evening.

*Seth then stops talking and after a few moments we hear the theme of who he's talking about.*



*The XWL fans hear the theme of the Breakdown General Manager as she steps onto the stage with no real reaction on her face until she gets to the top of the stage and smirks at Seth.



*The camera then cuts back to Seth whose expression has not changed ever since those words, which is serious and intense. The camera then cuts back to Stephanie and she begins to speak.*



[Stephanie Mcmahon
And that's the reason why you're not in it Seth. Honestly the only thing you've done these past two weeks is threaten not only me, but my husband and his best friend. Now I don't know what world you're living in Mr. Rollins, but in the real one that does not equate to a #1 Contenders Match, if anything it equates to a suspension… Or worse.

[Seth Rollins]
Oh really? Because all I've seen ever since I came back is young guns taking out weaker innocent people and then being thrown title shots. Believe me, I was one of them. What, am I supposed to go back to doing that? Is that the only way you'll take notice of me? These fans appreciate me, they believe in me, a feeling that you've yet to show me. See you don't care if the newest signed star is taken out by whoever, because they're replaceable, right? But when it comes to your dear ol' husband, or his buddy Ol' Yeller himself...suddenly it's a different story.



[Stephanie McMahon]
Seth, while we do value initiative when selecting superstars for title opportunities, attacking superstars does not make us swoon, in fact, it makes us look down on the assailant. Now I know things were different under the Old Regime, but believe me, you don’t need to attack people to help your chances, that's for sure.

[Seth Rollins]
Oh sure, because Sheamus's dashing good looks and charm made him get that contender's match? You know Stephanie I wouldn't be so bitter to you if you actually did value initiative but I guess I shouldn't expect so much, I mean look how you handled the Brad Maddox situation.

*Stephanie doesn't take to that kindly, changing the emotion on her face as she mutters something to herself that probably isn’t pleasant to Seth.*



[Stephanie Mcmahon]
Seth, I wouldn't cross the line much furth-

[Seth Rollins]
Or what? You'll fine me? Suspend me? Fine go ahead, I DARE YOU! Because it'll prove what I've been thinking ever since you became GM, you're not any different than Vickie or Hulk Hogan. Yeah, you'll give some new guys a shot or two to begin with and maybe a stupid poll for the fans to make it look like there's change, but you're nothing new. Hell, in my eyes you're wors-

[Stephanie Mcmahon]
No Seth, I won't fine you, or suspend you. I'm willing to be the bigger person in this situation. You see when I first got this job I heard that kind of talk from all sorts of people, but I will prove them wrong. Seth, you're just grasping for straws, so instead of whining why don't you prove it in the ring? Not tonight of course but next week, I’ll give you a big chance to prove yourself to me.

[Seth Rollins]
First of all Steph, I don't have to prove anything to anyone. Second, very cliche whose my opponent? The entire West Side Army? Dean would love that! The Heyman Crew? I mean it can't be that hard if JTG of all people is giving them trouble.

[Stephanie McMahon]
No Seth, that wouldn't be fun now would it? At least not for you. Look, I'm trying to be generous here, I mean you're the one who says you’ll do anything for a title shot, right? I mean you're a former King Of The Ring winner, you were in the Elimination Chamber, and you fought future Hall Of Famers when you were only a rookie, heck you've battled and beat Dean Ambrose! You should be able to beat anyone and everyone right Seth? That is.. Unless you're scared..

[Seth Rollins]
Ha, very funny Steph. I'm not afraid of anything, well except you and not because of your personality it's just your so-

[Stephanie McMahon]
Seth.....

*Stephanie then glares at Seth with one of her vintage evil looks which brings the brightest of smiles to Seth. He still has that smile when he says*

[Seth Rollins]
What, Steph? Is someone mad?

*Seth said the "someone" of that sentence in a baby like mocking tone and this infuriates Stephanie even more, she clenches her teeth and looks purely evil as she says with a scornful tone.*

[Stephanie McMahon]
I'm not mad, because the opponent that I find for you, whoever he may be, will n-



Stephanie jumps and nervously looks behind her as Seth gives off a worried look in the ring.

[King]
Oh boy..

[Michael Cole]
That’s not..

[JR]
It can’t be, he’s ”too good for Breakdown”, remember! It’s probably just Paul Heyman angry about what Stephanie said to him earlier tonight!

Stephanie watches as Paul Heyman walks out to the stage, mic in hand.

You feel that Stephanie?

[Stephanie McMahon]
Feel what Paul?

{{Paul Heyman}}
Or if you can’t feel it can you at least smell it?

[Stephanie McMahon]

{{Paul Heyman}}
The fear. That uneasy feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you hear Brock Lesnar’s theme. The realization that you might possibly not make it to tomorrow. That daunting sensation as your life flashes before your very eyes!! Brock Lesnar is the only man in this company capable of drawing out the deepest, darkest, fear imaginable out of even the most courageous of men.

[Stephanie McMahon]
And that matters to me because…?

{{Paul Heyman}}
Because Brock Lesnar breaks people for a living. He gets joy out of bending limbs to their limit, crushing bones till they almost turn to dust, inflicting pain until his opponent begs for mercy… and then Brock Lesnar just keeps on bringing the pain, because he knows not mercy, he knows not fear, all he knows is decimation, he breathes, destruction.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Are you threatening me?

{{Paul Heyman}}
No Stephanie

Paul puts his hand on Stephanie’s shoulder.


{{Paul Heyman}}
You’ve got me all wrong Steph, I wouldn’t dare threaten a McMahon! There are only a few men that I consider to be my equal in this industry, and your father is one of them. I have far too much respect for Mr. McMahon to threaten him, or his family..

[Stephanie McMahon]
Well believe me, the feeling isn’t mutual.

Stephanie takes Paul’s hand off of her

Maybe not with you Stephanie, you’ve never got me.

[Stephanie McMahon]

Yeah, you’ve never understood me.

Oh I think I understand you all right.

No, you really don’t. You need to see where I’m coming from Stephanie. Your dad does. He sees that I’m trying to change this company for the better. Fighters like Brock Lesnar, superstars like Goldberg, those are the type of people that will truly legitimize this company! The Rated R Superstar Edge! The Big Red Monster Kane! Two names of stars with talent the likes of which have never been seen, yet they’ve never been given the chance to shine to their true potential. Sure, they’re good, great even, but they could be the best. And with my help that will become a reality, and they will be the ones to reinvent this company in the future, not Seth Rollins, not Dean Ambrose, nor any of these other new “talents” that could never and will never reach the heights of the stars that paved the way for them. That is, unless they stop trying to eradicate this company of their predecessors and start trying to learn from them.

[Stephanie McMahon]
And your point is?

My point is that Seth Rollins needs to be taught a lesson. He can’t talk back to you, he can’t talk back to his elders, and he sure can’t talk trash about any of my clients without serious repercussions.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Well it looks like we agree about something.

{{Paul Heyman}}
Now I would have Goldberg come out here and teach him a lesson right here, right now, but he’s a little, preoccupied at the moment. So how about this. Seeing as you already booked Goldberg and Kane for next week, and I’m feeling awfully generous, I’ll give you Brock Lesnar.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Brock Lesnar?

{{Paul Heyman}}
BRRRROCKKK LESSSSNNARRRRR!!! I’ll have Brock Lesnar come to Breakdown to take on Seth Rollins and beat the respect into that little punk in the ring!!... If you cancel the match between myself and The Ryback!!

Stephanie thinks for a moment.

[Stephanie McMahon]
You’re right Paul. Brock Lesnar is the ultimate punishment for Seth. So next week Brock Lesnar will face Seth Rollins!!!

Seth begins to shout in the ring, furious with the decision.

{{Paul Heyman}}
And my match?

[Stephanie McMahon]
Is still on!!

{{Paul Heyman}}
Still what?!?
 
[Stephanie McMahon]
Paul. I’m the Breakdown General Manager. If I want Brock Lesnar to compete next week, then Brock Lesnar will compete next week. I don’t need to make any deals with you to get what I want! And if Brock Lesnar doesn’t show up next week for his match, then he’ll be.. Well.. You’re lucky that my father thinks so highly of Brock Lesnar otherwise I would say fired… But seeing as I can’t do that then how about this. If Brock Lesnar doesn’t show up for his match next week then The Ryback will be free from his contract with you!!!

{{Paul Heyman}}
So you’re telling me that if one of my crew members get involved in my match with The Ryback next week, or if Brock Lesnar doesn’t show up, then The Ryback will go back to West?

[Stephanie McMahon]
That’s exactly what I’m saying. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a lot of work to do!



And with that Stephanie exits through the way she came.

But Stephanie!! Wait!!

Heyman follows Stephanie to the back, leaving Seth alone in the ring.

The cameras take us backstage where Natalya is in the middle of a conversation with XWL's seamstress Sandra.



[Natalya]
This is gorgeous Sandra, I love it!

[Sandra]
Oh I know you better love it.

[Natalya]
That's why I don't go to anyone else for my gear, you know how to dress a hart.

[Layla]
Hey Nattie!

Natalya turns to her right, smiling as she recognizes Layla's voice. There stands The Divas Champion, and one of her opponents tonight, Layla. Noticing what's in Natalya's hands, Layla smiles even more as she speaks.




[Layla]
Oh my gosh, that is so cute. Tell me you're wearing that tonight, that is SO you!


[Sandra]
If she doesn't somebody better, I worked on that all day.


[Natalya]
Don't worry Sandra, I'll wear it just for you.


Nattie says as she flashes a smile in the direction of Sandra before turning back towards the Divas Champion.


[Natalya]
Of course I am! Big match, have to look good. Not every day do you get to go up against the Divas Champion.

[Layla]
But the real honor is that Nikki Bella has so graciously allowed us to be in the same ring as her tonight.

[Natalya]
I know, right? Such an honor to face someone like her. Someone who's been so successful over the years. But really, it's nice to step back in the ring with you, it's been so long.

[Layla]
It's going to be great, better than that actually it's going to be...FLAWLESS! You, with your impressive submission technician skill, my knockout kicks, and Nikki Bella's...new Rack....Attack...the fans are in for a treat. So I just want to take this opportunity to wish you luck out there, may the best woman win.

Just as Natalya goes to respond, she looks off to the side as one of the two divas who'll be facing for a shot at the Divas Championship walks into view, that being Kaitlyn.

[Kaitlyn]
Yeah, good luck to you two. Shame someone someone hasn't wish me luck yet they are capable of wishing Paige and now Nattie luck. But I understand, you've known them for a while now.

Caught off guard by Kaitlyn's strange attitude, Layla hesitates to respond, almost unsure of how to.



[Layla]
Kaitlyn, hi...what are you talking about?

[Kaitlyn]
Oh, it's nothing. No big deal. Just figured it's something worth mentioning.

[Layla]
Oh...wait, I think I know what this is about...someone's a little nervous about facing Aksana, so she wants a little good luck so she can stay on the winning side of things, doesn't she? You've got nothing to worry about though, luck or not, you're back on the winning track, but if it means so much to you, good luck out there. Just try not to spear her too hard, she did just come back after all.

[Kaitlyn]
Seriously? You have no idea what I'm talking about? Like not in the slightest? ... Yes, totally. I need luck against Aksana because she's such a big threat to everything, especially the English language.

[Natalya]
Kaitlyn, I think you sho-

[Kaitlyn]
Nattie, don't you have your attire to go try on or something?

[Layla]
Whoa, what's gotten into you? If it's not about tonight, then what is this whole thing about?

[Natalya]
Yeah, seriously. That doesn't sound like you.

[Kaitlyn]
It's nothing, really. I'm fine, nothings gotten to me. I just figured that... Just nevermind, I just figured something when in reality I guess I was wrong. Oh well.

[Layla]
Nice try, but when someone says it's nothing, it's ALWAYS something. Will you just tell us already? We're friends, friends help each other, so out with it, Kaitlyn.

[Kaitlyn]
It's not always something. I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed, bad hair day, and I haven't had my daily dose of Starbucks, happy?

[Layla]

[Kaitlyn]
Yeah, I do say so, that's kind of why I said it.



[Layla]
Well I know what'll cheer you up, just think in almost two weeks, you could potentially be the new number one contender, now isn't that something to smile about? Come on Kate, turn that frown upside down! I mean if Natalya were in your position, I'm pretty sure there's nothing that could take that smile away, bad hairday or not.

[Kaitlyn]
Yeah it is but still, I'd like for you to understand where I'm coming from. I'm not just going to go ahead and say it because you should have said it. I mean, you've said it to Paige and hell, you said it to Natalya.

[Layla]
I've said it to Paige? Tell me you're not talking about me wishing her luck at Uprising? I'd hope you're not as caught up in this whole situation to actually get bent out of shape because of one friend wishing another luck? I'm not rooting for her against you if that's what you're getting from that, it's just the nice friendly thing to do...I mean I said the same to y-

Layla suddenly stops, a light bulb goes off in her head, realizing exactly why Kaitlyn is angry. It's not because she wished Paige luck...and she ow realizes what she did, or we should say...didn't do.

[Layla]
Kaitlyn, I'm...I'm so sorry, I could have sworn I wished you luck when I saw you a few weeks ago, did I really not say it? I mean it's not like I've gone out of my way to not say it. I've just been so preoccupied with the impending task of refereeing the match with you and Paige...Of course I wish you luck at Uprising, why wouldn't I?

[Kaitlyn]
Because I haven't been your friend as long as Paige or Nattie have obviously.

Kaitlyn goes silent as she takes a few steps away from Layla and Natalya before turning around and leaving the scene and view of the camera, leaving only the two of them to stand there.

[Natalya]
You should probably try letting her cool down, talk to her next week or something.

[Layla]
I guess I'm not the only one getting stressed out over Uprising..listen I'm sorry you got dragged into this, Natalya. But I've gotta go find Stephanie and make this right somehow.

With a pre-match plan set in motion, Layla runs off a few seconds after waving goodbye to Natalya and quickly disappears into the distance. Which leaves Natalya to wonder what Layla's got in mind as the camera fades.

[Paul Heyman]
People of the XWL Universe, it is with great sadness in my heart that I even have to stand here tonight and do what I'm about to do. I am not an interviewer, I am above that, but when the time calls for it I'll swallow my pride and I'll do what needs to be done. I'm here to introduce a man that should need no introduction! The fact that I have to remind some people who he is....it sickens me, but as Mr Roode proved last week, some people have absolutely no idea who he is because if they did then they would treat him with the utmost respect!

[Paul Heyman]
Ladies and Gentlemen I am talking about none other than the absolute unequivocal Best In The World....My best friend, CM Punk! I cannot undersell how truly remarkable CM Punk is, there is nothing that he can't do and there is no one that he can't beat. Everyone loves to spread the phrase that he is a Paul Heyman guy and while I am proud of that, I will say here tonight that it is I who is in fact a CM Punk Guy! I saw something in him right from the beginning and I didn't do a thing, I simply pointed him in the right direction and kept him calm when need be, he did the rest and he did it by himself because he is the BEST. It's not a slogan, it's not a catchphrase, it's not a tactic and it sure as hell isn't debatable! It is a concrete fact. So Mr Roode, if you can drag yourself out of your pit of embarrassment that is last week, then I highly recommend that you publicly apologize tonight for making a fool out of yourself.

[Paul Heyman]
Now that we have that business out of the way, it's time for my interview with The Best In The World!

CM Punk enters on screen with a smile, giving Paul Heyman a handshake, when Heyman gets ready to pull away Punk pulls him back and brings him in for a big heartfelt hug. They hold it for around five seconds before Heyman asks his first question...

[Paul Heyman]
Now, Punk...You are famous here in XWL for many things, your battles with authority and your pipebombs top hundreds if not thousands of "top moments" lists on millions...and millions of websites, magazines and viewers minds! So I want to know CM Punk, Final Stand the biggest show of the year is right around the corner and no one has come to you and said, Punk, we want to give you a shot...to take what is rightfully yours...The XWL World Heavyweight Championship! I think you should let everyone know how that makes you feel?

Punk stares at Heyman with an almost evil glare

[[Punk]]:: You just couldn't help yourself with the Dwayne reference could you?

[[Punk]]:: As far as your question goes, I'm not surprised that nobody has came up to me and has offered me a title match, that has never been the case and that will never be the case, after all you're looking at the guy who was overlooked for Justin Gabriel instead of receiving my rematch for the World Championship, which I never pinned to lose but that is how it goes in this company. They won't approach me, instead they get the suits to do their dirty business and they tell me that if I want to make it anywhere in this company then I have to change my attitude, I have to take a different approach to the way things work around here and start being a company guy. Well more often than not they leave with fewer teeth than which they arrived with but I never one claimed I wasn't a company guy, I love my job, I get paid very well for doing something that I love, what I'm not is a corporate guy, what I'm not is a guy that will step on every one in the back and use politics to get where I am.

[[Punk]]:: So they let me float around for a while, just look at what they did a few years back when I was taking this company by storm. They made it so apparent that they wanted me nowhere near the World Championship, I walked out onto that stage at Digital Decision and we witnessed a moment that changed this company for the better because after weeks of talk via satellite that was the true beginning of CM Punk vs The Rock. The people were screaming for the match, I wanted it to prove I was the Best, Dwayne wanted it to shut me up but the only people that didn't want the match to take place were the suits. So the match never took place, instead I was placed in the King of the Ring and Dwayne once again faced 'Berto. Despite the situation, despite not facing one another the spotlight remained on CM Punk and The Rock, people were talking about CM Punk and The Rock and to get what I wanted I had to win King of the Ring, so I did and gave them no other alternative so instead of doing what made sense they decided to make the match an Elimination Chamber. Convenient isn't it? When I'm not involved in the King of the Ring tournament they decide the winner will receive a World Championship match.

Punk chuckles

[[Punk]]:: So how do I feel? Paul you know me better than anyone, the fact that I've been dealing with this since day one means it no longer fazes me. When I first started I had someone in my corner to help fight my battles and that was you, when situations arose every time without hesitation you would say “Well what about this guy” and do you know what they did? They fired you. So I fought for myself, still showing that they couldn't care less about me they gave me shit and every single time I turned it to gold. The S.E.S, something they could care less about and I made it one of the biggest thing at the time and do you know how they repaid me for that? They fired my friends, they fired the people that helped me create what I did, they fired the people who busted their ass to get better at what they did. That Paul, that pissed me off, the fact that they turn a blind eye to people that work hard to get to where they are and they just cut them loose like it was nothing. That is what pisses me off, that is why I am not and will never be a corporate guy but what they do week after week I couldn't care about because when all said is done I am the Best in the World and I make it that they can no longer ignore CM Punk.

[[Punk]]:: So for the past couple of weeks you and I have been having some fun. To cut loose and enjoy ourselves for a change but I was quickly reminded why I'm not allowed to have fun, I was reminded why I can't enjoy my time here because Bobby Roode wanted to make himself known and heard. Fine, that happens every day of every week, the curse of being the Best is you have to deal with people who believe they are better than they actually are, you have to deal with people that have stars in their eyes and dreams in their hearts and I am always the guy to shatter those dreams. But a man that has accomplished literally nothing in this company, a man that everyone hyped and he failed to show up let alone meet the mark and now he wants to question my past? He wants to question my accomplishments and why I call myself the Best? I get smack talking, I'm the best at it but respect where respect is due. When I went out they and I bad mouthed Dwayne every chance I could, I ran down the man that he had become, not what he had achieved in his career because believe it or not I respect what Dwayne had achieved in his career. People talk smack and I take them down, that's how it works but now I have to make an example out of Bobby Roode to show exactly why I am the Best in the World!

[Paul Heyman]
Bravo, bravo! Now I want to say something to you, not as your best friend and not as your mentor but as a bystander...You Mr Punk could bring a tear to a glass eye! That was absolutely beautiful! If I run this place I would give you the title for your moving speeches alone! My next question for you is this, what is your strategy heading into a match with the sick and twisted, Dean Ambrose?

[[Punk]]:: I keep hearing about this Dean Ambrose, a former member of the Shield and apparently trying to take this company by storm. He's going for the World Championship and I will give him props for that but at the end of the day all he has had to put up with is 'Berto. The same man who challenged Dwayne month after month to make no ground and now finally has his hands on the Championship, only just mind, if a man who finally captures what he's been searching for, for the better part of his tenure in this company and then loses it a month later to someone like The Miz?! I'm not saying this company has went downhill but we must really be struggling for stars lately, Miz, 'Berto, Sangriento? I wouldn't mind but the prestige of that Championship that fought so hard for to obtain is crashing and hard. When the likes of The Rock, CM Punk, Chris Jericho made that title something to strive after and now people have turned their attention to the midcard scene because quite frankly nobody cares.

[[Punk]]:: So he can attack 'Berto, he can make his life a misery because I personally find it hilarious but this “Sick and twisted” as you like to call him, has to keep in mind and realise that tonight he is taking a huge step up in class. I'm not 'Berto, he doesn't have two other hounds floating behind his back, when the bell rings and the match begins he is all alone in the ring with the Best in the World! His mind games won't work, his attacks won't work, as a matter of fact anything that he tries out there in that ring tonight won't work because everything is trivial when I am involved, all your efforts, tactics, wishes, dreams, hopes, attempts are all pointless because when I am out there in that ring there is nobody better, when I am in that ring people shut up, the heavens pay attention to their own because I am nothing short of a God and tonight Dean Ambrose has the utmost displeasure of finding out first hand exactly what Bobby Roode will learn come Uprising. That CM Punk is every damn bit as good as he says he is, that CM Punk is better than you and that CM Punk is without a shadow a doubt the Best Wrestler in the World!

[Paul Heyman]
Absolutely beautiful! There you have it ladies and gentlemen, from the mouth of the Best In The World himself...He is in a different league and if you try to use him as a stepping stone he will knock you down a peg or five. I have been Paul Heyman and this has been my best friend, CM Punk. Any last words?

[[Punk]]:: Yeah, what time is it?

Heyman lifts his sleeve and reveals his watch to Punk

Breakdown returns to see former Divas Champion AJ Lee standing in the middle of the ring with a microphone in her hand, the crowd are booing AJ, but she just ignores them all and begins to speak


[AJ Lee]
Last week, I issued a challenge.. I challenge to someone who's much bigger than me...but far less successful than I am, Since I am the greatest Diva of all time I should be respected..but instead Don West and Sara Del Rey have the nerve to ignored me...they just walked away like I wasn't there!  I'm not one to walk away from a challenge, but clearly...Sara is. She needs Don West to talk for her and to make her decisions for her because she doesn't have what it takes to make it alone. Unlike Sara, I don't need anybody to help me, I don't need anybody to talk for me... I've made it here alone. And now I'm here, I'm not going to let someone like Sara disrespect me.

[AJ Lee]
I don't blame Sara for been intimidated by me, After all I am the greatest divas champion of all time. It's clear she looks up to me, she sees me as her idol...just like all of you do, just like every diva backstage does. Standing in this ring with me is something Sara has ever dreamed of...




AJ is cut off by the theme of Sara Del Rey, Sara and the West Side Army leader appear at top of the ramp



As the theme of Sara Del Rey hits the camera pans back to AJ who is just staring at the stage. AJ just stares on with her death stare before her expression suddenly changes to a smile, confusing the XWL Universe

Whoa, whoa, whoa, just hang on there a second little lady… Now I can see why you’d be upset that you weren’t good enough to keep your Diva’s championship.. Trust me, the story of Don West and the West Side Army is full of missteps and setbacks too although we haven’t made a habit of being losers like you have. But AJ, regardless of your anger, that gives you absolutely no right to come out here and spread lies about my client and my friend, Sara Del Rey. You see, she doesn’t idolize you AJ, and I can personally assure you that she doesn’t dream about wrestling you… this is the freakin’ Queen of Wrestling we’re talking about and that would be setting the bar too low.

Sara Del Rey
Let’s get one thing straight AJ, when I interrupted you a few weeks ago, I was simply scouting the competition around these parts; I wasn’t looking to become your friend or someone you could latch on to and leech off of. So I would really, really appreciate it if you would keep my name out of your mouth because at this point, your desperate cries for attention are getting kind of annoying. Oh, and F.Y.I., I didn’t walk away from a challenge last week… I walked away from you.


[AJ Lee]
That's funny because the way I saw it.. I challenged you to a match tonight and you backed down, you just walked away. Don obviously thinks you can be a success maybe you could be the one to finally give Don West the championship he desperately wants... But to do that you'll have to go through me. You can't make it to the top without beating the best, and Sara... Sorry to break it you but you will never beat me. You can try and try but it will never happen. So last week you walked away from
Me... Now I'm giving you the chance to do it again. Walk away and save yourself the embarrassment.

Don West
Try as you may, AJ, but you just can’t convince me that you’re half as good as you say you are. It’s funny that you’re having such a difficult time coming to grips with the fact that Sara and I want nothing to do with you.

Sara Del Rey
I would have thought you’d be used to rejection by now, AJ.

Don West
It would seem as though you’re a glutton for punishment with the way you keep crawling back for more. I need you to get this through your thick skull: you are a peasant and Sara Del Rey is the queen! She does not need to wrestle you and she does not need to beat you to make it far in this company.

Sara Del Rey
AJ, you’re not the gatekeeper for XWL and you’re not a stepping stone or some kind of launching pad for careers either… AJ, you’re just a door mat that everyone from Kaitlyn to Daniel Bryan have wiped their feet on and all you’re doing right now by trying to push my buttons is begging for me to add my name to that list.

Don West
And as far as us walking away goes, we will gladly turn around, step through the curtain and head back to the locker room… as soon as you apologize for leaving us no choice but to come out here and set you straight. Time is money, AJ, and every dollar counts.

AJ is clearly getting wound up by the leader of the West Side Army, the anger in her voice is clear for all to hear

You want ME to apologize? I will never apologize for being the best, I will never apologize for begin better than this freak standing in front of me. You think that Sara can make an impact by taking out me, You wanted her to take me out because you know I'm at the top, You know I'm the best diva this company has to offer, Layla may have taken my championship but I'm still better than she will ever be. Nobody has ever walked over me, all they ever did was ride my coattails to try and make a name for themselves. I was the one who gave Kaitlyn a chance in this company, she wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for me... Don't even get me started on Daniel. If you think you can come out here and make your name at my expense then you're wrong..oh you're wrong.

You think…*West can barely hold back the laughter.* You think… Sara and I want to… *West can’t hold it back any longer.*  That we want to make an impact… by beating you? Are. You. Kidding. Me? Trying to beat you to make an impact would make as much sense as dropping a nickel into the ocean to try and start a tsunami!  So many people have beaten you already that Sara doing it too wouldn’t really be anything special.

You’re not anything special anymore, AJ. You’ve overstayed your welcome, you showed your true colors and I bet Stephanie is just dying for a reason to get you out of her hair.

Don West
I think one more mental breakdown would do the trick.

She’s certainly in the middle of a big temper tantrum, that’s for sure. I guess when you look like a little kid it looks more authentic when you act like one.

The one thing you've got right ... Sara will never be on the same level as me. You can laugh, you can make your jokes...but I prove every time I step in this ring that I am on a level on my own. I got here by myself, I made it here alone.. I didn't need a manager, I didn't need the internet to get me where I am today. I earned the right to be here and I earned the right to call myself the greatest diva of all time. You Sara..you've earned..NOTHING.

Pardon the interruption but I just want to clear the air regarding a few things. First of all, Don, I heard what you said earlier and I’m sorry you got the impression that we’re “conspiring” against you but I can assure you rehiring Curtis Axel was by no means a way to get at you. Now what happened to Corey Graves, Amazing Red and even Melina was well before my time in charge, here’s what I do: if there’s any former West Side Army member that gets the itch to make a grand return to XWL the door is wide open.

With that said, I do not appreciate you deciding to give Sangriento the night off. If there was any concern about his health, you should have come to me first so we could work something out. You don’t run things around here, Don, I do and since Sangriento already has his hands full with Brock Lesnar, I’ll just have to punish the next in line. Which means that I’m going to give AJ exactly what she wants: a match against Sara Del Rey… at Uprising! And Don, don’t even think about giving anyone the night off.


As Stephanie finishes her announcement, West and Del Rey clearly disagree and appear almost mad at the decision Stephanie has made, whilst AJ is standing manically laughing and pointing at Del Rey. West and Del Rey share a puzzled look as AJ continues to laugh. AJ then exits the ring and as it looks like she's about to head backstage, she stops suddenly and begins to skip around the ring. The craziness of AJ is clearly too much to take as West and Del Rey quickly exit the ring and exit up the ramp leaving AJ still skipping around the ring

Breakdown returns to the face of Paul Heyman. Despite his daunting match against The Ryback next week he can be seen grinning from ear to ear. He walks right up to a door labeled “Stephanie McMahon. He knocks and after a few moments you can hear Stephanie shout from inside the room “come innnn”. Paul opens the door where we see Stephanie with her back turned, putting some papers away.

I’m sorry?

Steph pauses what she’s doing upon hearing Paul’s voice. She then turns around with a surprised look.

And just like if Kane, Goldberg, Edge, or Brock Lesnar interfere next week, if CM Punk interferes then The Ryback will be free of his obligations to you!

The crowd lets out a huge cheer as Heyman stands there speechless.

Oh I don’t you think I didn’t see what you were doing out there. I know that you’re a great promoter but I’ve never seen you kiss ass as much as you did with CM Punk during that interview.

As Breakdown returns from commercial break, we see Prince Devitt walking down the locker room hallways until he comes to a stop at one door which he doesn't hesitate to kick open.

Hey, dickhead!

Devitt enters the room and comes face to face with his tag team partner later on tonight, Sheamus, who is looking straight past him and is more focused on his now broken door. Devitt looks back and smirks.



Sheamus
You could have knocked.

Prince Devitt
Yeah, sorry about that.

Sheamus
From the look on yer face, it seems like you're anxious to compete in the main event tonight.

Prince Devitt
Not exactly, but I am excited about something...

Sheamus
What? Getting the opportunity to knock my arse out when given the chance?

Devitt looks side to side suspiciously. He scratches his head, trying to think of a valid response.

Prince Devitt
Of course not! Listen, I know we aren't exactly on the same page when it comes to things...

Sheamus
Not on the same page? You accused me of attacking Arn Anderson when I didn't do a damn thing!

Devitt's face grows red with anger as he slowly puts his hands on his head.

Prince Devitt
It's KARL ANDERSON, you idiotic, pathetic, stupid, nonsensical, foolish, witless, brainless, mindless, thoughtless, Carrot Top MORON! You know, I was considering leaving you alone in our tag match, yeah? Working together? Well it looks like you just pissed on that, "fella"! Don't be surprised if I kick your arse right in the middle of that match!

Devitt steps towards Sheamus, standing mere centimeters away.

....Yeah.

Sheamus
Well then, how about I teach you a lesson when I toss you all over the locker room right now.....fella?

If you even put one of those grimy fingers on me, I won't hesitate to break the damn thing in half.

Devitt turns away and leaves while Sheamus watches and chuckles some chuckles.

[Interviewer] Daniel, earlier tonight you defeated Luke Harper in what many are already calling the match of the night. How are you feeling right after a big win like that considering how much attention The Wyatt Family has gotten as of late?



[Daniel Bryan] It feels great, honestly. It's nice to finally see a chink in the armour of The Wyatt Family because even though this was my first encounter with a member of it, I'm not exactly a fan of them and I know a lot of people aren't either. Thankfully I managed to leave in one piece with how they usually have that pack of wolves mentality, I showed that when a member of The Wyatt Family is on their own they're not as deadly as they hype themselves up to be. First it was Sabin, and then Dolph Ziggler, a former World Heavyweight Champion might I add and now Luke Harper tonight. I'm going to continue to ride this wave of momentum into Uprising to show Chris Sabin exactly what he's in store for, I didn't take too kindly to his comments earlier tonight..

[Interviewer] I was just about to ask you about that, Chris was seen claiming yet again that you had a loaded knee pad in your match to defeat him for those who didn't see..



[Daniel Bryan] I don't know whether he's just trying to be funny, or get in my head, or if he's actually that delusional as to think I need a loaded knee pad to beat him. But either way it's pretty frustrating but all of that will be put to rest at Uprising. Who knows? I might just roll down my knee pad before knee'ing him in the face this time just so he knows it's 100% real. All that matters to me is after Uprising he won't have any excuses to fall back on and the only thing he'll have to blame is himself. I understand he's kind of in a rut right now, losing a tag partner like Alex Shelley after such a long time as a team has got to be tough but he's not getting his foot in the singles division the right way at all..



[Daniel Bryan] And trust me, I'm going to give him the warm welcome to singles competition that he truly deserves at Uprising. He picked the wrong guy to mess with, I hope he knows what he's in store for.

Breakdown returns from commercial break and we head backstage where Josh Mathews is seen standing by with one of the two competitors in the United States Championship contenders match, John Cena.

[Josh Mathews]
John, earlier tonight we found out that you will be going against a newer star to the scene of XWL at Uprising, that man being Prince Devitt.

[John Cena]
New star indeed, haven't heard much about him and I don't know much about him. I've seen him wear a cool body paint like outfit every now and then but that's about it. Doesn't mean I'll count him out though, shouldn't count any out in this business.

[Josh Mathews]
So would you say you aren't confident going into the match?

[John Cena]
Of course I am, I've got my head held high and I'm going to bring my A-Game. I didn't say I wasn't confident, just said I'm not going to go and count Prince Devitt out. Me, along with the CeNation are going to go in and push ourselves through whatever offense Devitt attempts to throw at us so we can head to Final Stand and capture what we lost ages ago; the United States Championship. He can throw whatever high flying moves he wants, try any trick in the book, I'll be sure to stop him with no matter what he does but if he proves to be a lot better than expected, at least I'll go down trying. I don't want him to think wearing some cool looking comic book related outfit will save him though because dressing like that hero or villain won't give him any powers.

[Josh Mathews]
And what if you do "go down," what are your plans then?

[John Cena]
Haven't thought about that, not sure if I wiill till it happens. If I'm going to win this, I'm not going to be thinking about what may happen if I lose. I'm thinking I'm going to go in there and I'm going to fight!

[Josh Mathews]
Tonight you get a preview of what Prince Devitt is capable of when you team against Eric Young to take on the team of Prince Devitt himself and Sheamus. What are your thoughts going into this match?

[John Cena]
Honestly? I think Eric and I have got this in the bag. Sheamus and Devitt from what I heard aren't exactly the best of friends and having to work together and team together, that may not favor them as much as it will favor myself and Eric. Sure, a little bad blood between Eric and I since I pinned him for the three count last week, but we are still cool. But we will just have to see because who knows, upsets have happened and could happen again. But now, I've got to go ahead and prepare for that match. A win tonight would do either team huge favors going into Final Stand.

Cena goes quiet as he begins to turn away to prepare for his match when he is stopped and is face to face with none other than the man who he'll be facing as Uprising, Prince Devitt. It's silent as the two stand there, looking at one another for just a little bit, creating some tension that could be cut with a knife. A couple of seconds pass before Devitt slowly walks away, not taking his eyes off Cena as we head back to the arena for the next contest of the night.

A lot of people have been asking me why I've aligned myself with Madison Eagles.  I don't understand why I have to explain myself, as if I haven't done enough of that already.  I've said way more on the subject than I planned, and to be honest, I think it's taking away from the whole thing.  Everyone seems to be amazed that I'd team up with someone as arrogant as Eagles, but she's only arrogant because she's talented.  Talent and arrogance usually go hand in hand until the person with the talent mellows out a little.  That's just how it is.  Anybody who has made it in this industry, Hollywood or showbiz would tell you the same thing.



[Trish Stratus]  
It's time to stop focusing on "why" and to start paying attention to "what" we're doing.  Eagles will reach heights that nobody would've ever thought she would with me at her side.  I've brought the spotlight on her in a big way because of what I've what I've done in my own career.. the spotlight kind of follows me and now that I'm sharing that with Madison the possibilities are endless.  Trust me, someday the name of Madison Eagles will be uttered in the same breath as the likes of me, Lita, Rock, Austin, Bruno and Hogan when people look back and pick out individuals who revolutionized their divisions in their respective eras.  I promise that much.

And need I remind you that Madison has already been a Divas Champion while aimlessly surviving in this business without guidance and without someone to help her develop.  I think that says it all.  If any of you still need proof that she's the real deal despite all of this and everything we've said, make sure you tune in to Uprising.  I've hand-picked an opponent that will showcase Madison's skills to the max.  I'll give you a clue: She was Divas Champion in 2012... but that's all you're getting out of me.  It'll spoil all the fun.  Besides, this isn't about Madison's opponent.  The entire match is all about Madison... and when the match is over... you will all see that she is the true, uncrowned face of women's wrestling today.

Trish looks into the camera with pure confidence, happy with the message she has delivered before the screen fades to black.

And after that devastating spinning kick Cena took from Prince Devitt, he was left in no condition to rescue his partner from the Irishman's clutches.

Sheamus saw the opportunity and he seized it, it was rather cold and selfish of him if you ask me.

Sheamus' music continues to blast through the arena as an irrate Devitt rolls out of the ring and storms over to his supposed partner.

Oh dear, this doesn't look good!

The two start to argue as Sheamus' music comes to a halt.

What the hell were you playing at?!

Pissed off, Devitt pushes Sheamus back, the crowd let out a huge 'OOOOOH', Sheamus looks away from Devitt for a split second before pushing him back, the force is enough to send Devitt into the side of the ring which causes him to lose control, he lashes out at sheamus with a swift kick to the side of his leg, and then another, and another. Sheamus backs away from Devitt, trying to create some space, but Devitt is a man on a mission and continues to strike Sheamus, he seems to be getting the better of him until Sheamus connects with a huge right hook that knocks Devitt down to the floor.

Jim Ross
You're going to live to regret that, kid.

Michael Cole
What are you talking about? He did exactly what anyone else in his situation would, he told Sheamus earlier tonight that if he dared to put one finger on him, he'd break it in half, and he's living up to that promise.

Jerry 'The King' Lawler
I don't know Cole, he doesn't look to be in a strong position right about now.

Sheamus spies a table set up beside the barricade and wastes no time as he marches over to the wounded Devitt, he moves to lift him up, but Devitt isn't ready to give up yet, he strikes Sheamus again, but the strength of the Celtic Warrior is just too much for the worn out Devitt,  Sheamus grabs him by the back of his neck and lifts him up on to his shoulders as he walks over to the table.

Michael Cole
Don't do it Sheamus! It'll only come back to haunt you!

Jerry 'The King' Lawler
Go on Sheamus, teach that kid a lesson he'll never forget.

Sheamus places Devitt in position and lets out an extra loud roar before grabbing Devitt's arms and lifting him up over his shoulders, throwing him down, crashing through the table into a broken heap.

Sheamus looks back to the remains of the table that Eric Young is still lying across and then down to the table which Devitt was sent through and he basks in the chaos he's created as his entrance music begins to play again.



Sheamus laughs at the destruction he's caused as the XWL logo shows up on the left hand side of the screen before the cameras fade away to signal the end of the show.
