The Monster Bash: 8/20/2013 - 8/27/2013

[Justin]: Punk, the time has almost come. The moment that you wanted and have been waiting for since Eye for an Eye, where you get your rematch with Kevin Steen. This match has been tagged The Best in the World vs. Wrestling's Worst Nightmare and last week we heard that Kevin Steen is very confident coming into tonights match up. Punk, do you have any comments for your opponent before going into your match?



[[Punk]]:: Very original title by the way, it's not like any five year old could've taken a moniker and slapped it on a poster. But you are right about one thing, Kevin does seem very confident coming into tonights match and aftetall why shoudln't he be, right? Last time Kevin and I locked up inside the squared circle he did beat me, with the questionable tactics in which he achieved that goal aside he still managed to drop me on my head not once, but twice and pin me for the three count. Now any other person would be on top of the World after a moment like that, a win over CM Punk isn't something that comes easily, in fact it's a rarity in this company but if someone managed to achieve that feat they would be able to accomplish anything, the wave of momentum and confience you would gain from completing such a task would be able to take them to heights that they have never reached before. But that wave of momentum lasted Kevin Steen but a week.



[[Punk]]:: Why? Because that's just Kevin Steen. He builds you up to let you down, he done something that not many people can say they have done but at the end of the day he then wasn't able to go on to do something that even Brian Kendrick managed to do, I mean that's just low, right? If Kevin was in fact Wrestling's Worst Nightmare, he would've done it all and left and trail of broken bodies in his path but as it stands the only broken body he has left in his path is a frail and past his prime O.A.P known as Hulk Hogan because despite what Kevin likes to think I'm not broken, I'm still standing as you can clearly see and yeah, I might be hurt, I might be carrying a few injuries here and there but I have suffered worse. I have worked threw pain my entire life because when I was coming up it wasn't a matter of choice, you work to eat and I haven't got that mentality out of my head yet. I work through the pain, I fight through the injuries and I have been beaten down by the biggest, the baddest and the meanest people that have ever graced this industry and still I stand before you.



[[Punk]]:: You like to think that you are the big bad wolf that lurks in the dark, stalking it's prey but the truth is you're nothing special. You've got weight on your side, a lot of it in fact and you certainly like to throw it around but I have been inside the ring with some of the biggest men in this industry. The Big Show, Mark Henry, Khali, The Undertaker and all of them are bigger and badder but wait there's more, you like to play on the fact that you have a couple of screws loose and that you will do anything. Well I've carpool'd with Colt Cabana for the better part of my life so trust me when I tell you that I have seen crazy and you my friend are not crazy, what you are is an over hyped, over rated wrestler who started buying into his own hype but continulously gets upstaged by a masked man who's vocabulary revolved around a singular word. You concentrate on what you believe you are, you take out your aggressions on fans who attend by attacking them but you forget that it won't serve you any favours.



[[Punk]]:: You are a dime a dozen, there are many out there who are just like you in every bit of way but there is nothing on this Earth that can prepare you for the likes of me. There is not another soul on this planet who can do the things that I do, nobody can match my skills in the ring, nobody can match my abilities on the microphone and I've even been known to upstage even the best on commentary. Congratulations, you won one match and it inflated your ego just that little bit more and I guess you earned that right but last time round you needed a trick or two, you needed my attention to be drawn and I made a mistake and I can accept that but what are you going to do when you have my sole attention? What are you going to do when you have no tricks to pull from your sleeve? Because you need to keep in mind that not only are you taking on CM Punk tonight, you're taking on a man that is royally pissed off and coming for blood.



[[Punk]]:: So how, Dear Steen do you intend to deal with the issues at hand when you barely survived an encounter with the likes of James Storm? You talk the talk, you claim you have stepped up in the World and finally left the kiddy table and are now hanging with the big boys but you still fail to walk the walk. You can attend all the fan meetings you want, you can beat up all the crazed stalkers that claim to know me all day every day because you are doing me a great service, truly, but at the end of the day when you step into the ring you're still the guy who can't get the job done. Talk is cheap and you've done your fair share of talking but are you finally going to live up to the hype? Are you finally going to do what you set out to do? Because you like to set the bar high, you like to make your threats and claims as do I, but the only difference is I have the proof to show that I can back up every little thing I say and that every little word that comes out of my mouth is 100% fact.



[[Punk]]:: You say that I'm afraid to be the bad guy and get my hands dirty, well lucky for you last week I wasn't able to prove that claim wrong because a certain “King of Old School” intervened with my plan but sadly it didn't end to well for him and in that it won't end well for you. Last week speaks for itself, I took a man who prides himself on the abuse that his body can withstand, I took a man who has been in some of the most brutal and barbaric matches that have ever been witnessed and just like that I turned out his lights. A man who has taken more punishment than the tormented souls in hell and even he couldn't withstand what I can do. So be at your peak, beat up some more strangers along the way if you must but keep in mind as soon as you step foot in my ring it ends the same way it always ends. The same old song and dance but with a different partner because I will put you to sleep and as knees meet faces I can only hope that you will realise what the world already knows. That CM Punk is better than Kevin Steen and as you realise that fact, you will have the absolute honour of being beaten by the Best in the World!

A graphic promoting the first ever Divas Elimination Chamber match set to take place later on in the evening pops up on the screen. It fades after a few seconds, and we're then taken to a specially set up area where Josh Matthews is standing by with one of the women set to take part in the historic encounter, Layla.

Here with me now is a woman that knows a lot about making history, she'll take part in the historic six diva Elimination Chamber Match coming up in just a little bit, allow me to welcome Layla!



[Josh Matthews]
How are you feeling tonight? Are you rested up? Is your knee feeling better?


[Layla]
I'm nervous...

Layla puts her hands up, showing that they're somewhat shaky.



[Layla]
The doctors say my knee is ready to go so that's not really what I'm concerned about, it's just the overall aspect of this match. The level of competition, the fact that this is all uncharted territory for us all so we have no idea really what we've gotten ourselves into until we're locked in there with no way out other than a walk of shame in defeat. Which, I'm sure every single one of us has no intention of making. When I leave that Elimination Chamber, I want to be leaving as a winner, as a history maker, as the number one contender to the Divas Championship.


[Josh Matthews]
Do you believe you have what it takes to outlast your competition?

[Layla]
Absolutely, I mean you have to believe that. This isn't arrogance, or at least it's not intentionally arrogant..but I have done a lot of things here, competed in matches others haven't, I've built up a tolerance over the years for unorthodox environments. I know what I have to do to pace myself, and ensure that I remain in this match for as long as I have to be. But unfortunately, all the preparation in the world won't spare me a possible defeat. Really tonight relies a lot on one thing, who wants it the most? Who is willing to put their body through unspeakable things, just to have a crack at The Divas Champion next month? With women like Eve, Kaitlyn, Maria, Torrie, and Brie all locked in there with me, who knows what could happen. Two of them are my friends, one of them I'm indifferent towards, one I can't stand...and the other is, well somewhat of a wild card. Maria has that sort of aura that I used to before I went on to accomplish so much. She's the one everyone is underestimating right now. I loathe her, like it infuriates me to even look at her, but that's what she has going for her. People will see her as someone they don't have to focus on, or someone that they can easily pick off in the end, and when people tried that with me in the past, we always saw how it really turned out. So I've got my eye on her heading into this match, that Steel Pipe could come into play at any time, and I'm ready to kick it right out of her hands.

[Josh Matthews]
So you feel like Maria is the one to watch in this upcoming match?



[Layla]
I do, no one even suspected her when she was hiding under that mask and making Kaitlyn's life hell. She flew right under everyone's radar, and if people let her do that again tonight, she could very well steal it. I'm someone that always thinks things through, I try to head into every match with a solid and sound mind, and I believe Maria needs to be taken seriously out there, or else she'll be the one having the last laugh.


[Josh Matthews]
What about Torrie Wilson, she's a bit like Maria, not so successful...not so established despite being in this business for a while, is she one to keep that other eye on?



[Layla]
You know, she very well could be. I like Torrie, she's one of the few that actually believed me when I said I wasn't the masked maniac running around here. So I think of her as someone I can confide in and trust. She's incredibly hungry for this opportunity, she wants to hold that Divas title, and sometimes wanting something bad enough, can give you all you need to make it a reality. She's in a match joined by the two longest reigning Divas Champions in XWL history, this isn't a walk in the park by any means, so I know she's ready to have that star defining moment, as her friend I want her to have that. But as her opponent tonight, I know I can't let that happen.


[Josh Matthews]
What about someone like Brie Bella, you've got a good bit of history, The Bella Twins ended The United Queendom, Brie's sister Nikki defeated you in the Finals of the Queen of The Ring tournament, how have you prepared for facing her once again, this time with the stakes even higher than before?


[Layla]
She's an example of someone I've underestimated previously, she's grown tremendously, and it's like the saying goes, you can't judge a book by it's cover. She may seem like just the typical mean girl that can't really do anything when it comes to being in that ring, but she's been working hard. Every time I go to the gym before a show, she's always there before me, and working up a sweat, so when building that stamina and endurance, that actually helps her when going into a match where those two things surely are detrimental.



[Josh Matthews]
How about, say...Eve? You did defeat her this past week, how do you think that loss may fuel her when going into this match?




[Layla]
Well if it doesn't then sure needs to get a fire lit under her sometime soon. Eve is, in my opinion, although this might be somewhat unpopular given her stance with the fans....but I believe she's the great diva here right now, yet to win The Divas Championship. She's been here for years, grown so much, we've had our issues, but despite all of that, I recognize her what the talent she is. Eve Torres could finally get that big win tonight, but sadly for her, I'm also in this match. It's been an awful long time since I've had that title around my waist, and I'm not letting anyone get in the way of bringing that title back where it belongs, right here.

The camera pans lower, showing her hands on the side of her waist, motioning that she's going to have that championship around her again very soon.


[Josh Matthews]
The last person we've got to talk about, might object to that though, she's someone you know quite well, and she's also the woman that broke your record and became the longest reigning Divas Champion, Kaitlyn.





[Layla]
We saved the best for last, of course.



[Josh Matthews]
So let's talk about her, you had a rough road to friendship, finally seem to be on good terms, gaining trust....but an Elimination Chamber isn't exactly the kind of match that builds friendships...it actually has destroyed them. A great example would be Ted DiBiase and The Rock, they were friends before the match, but Ted inadvertently caused The Rock's elimination, and things have never been the same between them. Are you worried that something similar could happen between you and Kaitlyn?





[Layla]
Actually, I think that no matter what happens, we know that only one of us could come out of this as the number one contender, so while we're friends, we expect nothing less than the best from each of us. There is no "going easy" there is no coming to each other's aid, we're opponents, two people vying for the same opportunity. If she wins I'll be happy for her, just like when I win, I know she'll be happy for me.



[Josh Matthews]
A strong statement made by one of the women that will enter the Elimination Chamber for the first time later on tonight. Layla it's been a joy having you, any parting words?


[Layla]
Josh, it's time to make history, again.


Layla smiles in the direction of the camera, letting out a glowing aura about her. She's heading into the match that could get her back on top, the match that could make her number one contender, and from the way she leaves the set, you can tell she's focused and ready for what could be the most challenging match of her entire career. The Elimination Chamber match is coming up later tonight, and she's just one of the six that have prepared themselves for what awaits them when they step through that door and enter what has been called "Satan's Structure."

Kenny! Hey!

What can I do for you today, Josh?

Come on now, Josh. You ran all of four feet.

Right, sorry. I'm okay now. I just- I just wanted to get your thoughts on your United States- United States Title match tonight against Alex Shelley.

Nah, not tonight Josh. Not this time. Tonight. . . I'm going to let my actions in the ring speak louder than my words. I sincerely wish my opponent, Alex Shelley, the best of luck tonight. This is going to be one hell of a match, you can believe that.

Jim Ross
It looks like it’s about that time folks; we’re only moments away from the United States Championship match where Alex Shelley will be defending his highly coveted title against Kenny King, in a chairs match of all things!

Michael Cole
And how fitting is it that Shelley loses his title due to the very same object he illegally used at Eye for an Eye to retain against King.

Jerry Lawler
I don’t know why both and Kenny King sound so sure that King is walking away as champion tonight when Shelley has done more than enough to show that he’s a capable champion. Besides, King was the one who brought that chair into the ring.

Jim Ross
A key fact that both King and Cole like to conveniently forget. I won’t say Shelley didn’t bend the rules, but the only reason why King’s upset is because he was on the wrong end of the chair shot.

Michal Cole
It’s a good thing that your opinion doesn’t matter, and that Hulk Hogan finally did something smart by giving King a rematch tonight.

Jerry Lawler
Oh please, Cole, Hulk Hogan was more than worthy to hold his position. Although I am curious to see just how far you can stick your head up Mr. McMahon’s backside.

Jim Ross
As they say, King. Practice makes perfect, and there’s no doubt in my mind that King has been putting in extra time in at the gym as he prepared for this. If he loses, I don’t think he’ll be given any rematches.

Michael Cole
As if King needs to work hard to be someone like Shelley. The man is a  kid in an adult’s body, and I can’t wait until someone who actually takes this profession seriously holds the title.

Jerry Lawler
You said the same thing about The Miz, hoping and praying that he would become the next United States Champion, and look where that got him. Says a lot about the horses you back in races.

Jim Ross
While King  has been impressive in his own right during his short time here in XWL, Alex Shelley is no slouch and he’s proven that over the months he’s held that championship.

Michael Cole
Past, schmast, it’s all about tonight and lighting won’t strike twice for that wannabe champion.

Boos fill the arena as a battered and bruised Kenny King rises to his knees and cups his hands over his face. The Ref comes to check on him but King pushes him away and shouts at The Ref to hand him his title. The official obliges, and when he gets close, King snatches the championship from his hands and falls forward onto the mat with the title held tightly in his clutches.

Lillian Garcia
Here is your winner, and the NEW, United States Champion: Kenny King!

As Kenny King is announced as the NEW United States Champion, the crowd’s boos grow even louder in proportion to their hatred of the man kneeling in the ring, victorious after a vicious battle. Clearly still hurting but now about to let what his ego would consider a little bit of pain spoil his celebration, King forces his way to his feet and orders The Ref away from Shelley’s motionless body.

The Ref hesitantly takes a couple of steps over to King who barks at him to grab his wrist and raise it high in the air. This is not the sight the crowd wanted to see and they’re letting King know that because while his arm may be raised up in victory, they’re making the boos rain down. King jerks his arm away from the crowd so that he can gingerly make his way over to the corner.

Taking his time climbing up, King pauses there for a moment letting this career defining moment for him thus far sink in. His signature smirk is back and there’s no doubt that he’s never felt prouder of himself, though he’d be first to tell you that the outcome was never in doubt. Perched on the turnbuckle with his newly won championship held tightly in his hand, King points to Garcia on the outside of the ring and with a series of curls of the index finger orders her over to him.

Garcia nervously approaches him, where she listens to what King has to say, or rather yell, and it all amounts to: “Say my name!” King waves her off and watches her walk away with a big smile on his face, ready for her to act out his orders. Back over by the timekeeper’s area, Garcia takes a microphone, raises it up to her lips, then takes a deep breath before speaking.

Lillian Garcia
Ladies and Gentleman, once again I present to you, your new and improved United States Champion and the greatest to ever hold the belt: Kenny King!

If King wanted to get into the good graces of the fans, forcing Garcia to say that ego-stroking announcement didn’t do him any favors. Though King doesn’t seem to mind the hate, he made it this far without the support of the crowd and can go even further without them. King takes his prized-possession in both hands then raises it into the air.

Pyro goes off above the ring and confetti begins raising down the sky as King delivers a Kodak moment that the people will try to erase from their memory banks immediately.

Alex Shelley!

Clap! Clap! Clap-clap-clap!

Clap! Clap! Clap-clap-clap!

The sound of the people chanting a name that isn’t his wipes the smile off King’s face, replaced with an expression of disgust. This is his time! This is his moment! How could they be chanting that loser’s name? King turns around and what he sees answers that pressing question.

Despite getting viciously dropped skull-first onto a chair, Shelley has begun stirring, showing his first signs of life since the bell rang. He rolls off his back onto his stomach and desperately, almost pathetically and pitifully, crawls over to the ropes. King hops down the turnbuckles and walks over to Shelley with a look of disbelief on his face. Shelley should be deader than Rey Mysterio right now, yet here he is refusing to stay down. While Shelley uses the ropes to pull himself up to his feet, King squats down next to him and begins screaming in his face.

“Stay down!”

“What are you getting up for?”

“You already lost, Shelley, you have nothing left to live for!”

“Who are you trying to impress? The people?”

“Because you sure as hell didn’t impress me tonight!”

“You’re as worthless as the partner of yours!”

Now on his feet, with what energy Shelley has left he slaps King across the face and pushes him away. King staggers backwards and doesn’t react angrily, but instead shakes his head as though he felt sorry for the guy. Without warning, King charges forward and nails Shelley with a sharp enzuigiri. Shelley tries to hang onto the ropes but he eventually collapses to the ground in a heap to the dismay of the crowd.

King walks over to one of the corners on the other side of the ring and starts to make the climb up when the crowd erupts with cheers and King turns around to see that the kick to the head wasn’t enough. Shelley is crawling over to King with revenge on his mind, though considering his current physical state that may not be the wisest move. King backs up until he pressed against the corner, looking at Shelley with fury in his eyes. He squats down and holds the title up, measuring Shelley up for one last fatal strike.

Suddenly a figure rushes into the ring and heads right for King and with nothing but his reflexes to aid him, King quickly scrambles from the ring and walks backwards up the ramp and the look of shock on his face says it all. The man pulls off his head to reveal that he’s…

AJ Styles!

The crowd cheers and Styles throws out his arms in his signature taunt then motions for King to come back in the ring so they can duke it out. King blows Styles off, the confidence and cocky smirk, with demeanor to match, back in full form. King says that he’s already gotten what he wanted and that he’s not gonna waste his time with washed up hicks. The crowd boos as King turns his back to the ring, walks up the ramp then disappears behind the curtain.

The camera cuts back to the ring to see Styles watching the stage intently as though King would suddenly reemerge to take him up on his offer for an impromptu round of fisticuffs. The sound of the raucous crowd here in Kentucky snaps him out of his daze and brings him back to reality where the sound of the people chanting: “Welcome back!” fill his eardrums.

It’s music to Styles’ ears who nods his hid to the rhythm of the chant. He races over to the corner, hops onto the middle buckle and raises his arms in the air and gets a huge reception from the crowd. Styles smiles, obviously pleased to see that the people who voted that he’s the superstar they’d want to see back in XWL the most, way back when in an XWL.com exclusive poll, haven’t changed their mind about him. His career has had its ups and downs and it must be great to receive a welcome like this to start a fresh run on the right foot.

Styles hops down from the top rope and walks over to Shelley to his struggle to get back onto his feet but finally does after great effort and finds himself face to face with the last man he ever thought he’d see again. These two have so much history together, it was Styles who was there for Shelley when Sabin was taken out by the Kings of Wrestling, forming Generation-Next and braving the storm together for months until Sabin’s return.

When Styles returned in Men of Honor, it didn’t take long for him to target the Motor City Machine Guns, but it seems that with his sudden reappearance he’s ready to bury the hatchet. Evidenced, by extending his hand towards Shelley who accepts the shake offer with a smile.

Low blow! Shelley crumbles to his knees while Styles towers above him, the smile from his face gone, now replaced with a cold, chilling expression. The fans fall silent, stunned by the turn of events, unable to believe what they’re witnessing. Shelley is on his knees, his hands clawing at Styles’ shirt grabbing at it in an effort to pull himself up. Styles puts his hand on Shelley’s face then pushes him down to the mat. Shelley begins crawling and Styles stomps hard on his back knocking him flat to the mat.

The crowd is no longer silent.

A shower of boos are cascading down from the fans in the stands while they watch as Styles walks over to Shelley and pulls him over to the center of the ring. He pulls a weak-kneed Shelley up to his feets and stares him in the eyes for several seconds that feel like hours before stuffing Shelley’s head between his thighs, hoisting him up into the and dropping him face down on the ground with the Styles Clash!

Styles gets to his feet no remorse on his face as he looks down at the motionless body of Shelley. Security officials race down the ramp and Styles scrambles out of the ring, hops over the barricade and disappears into the crowd. The cameras cut back over to Shelley who is now being tended by medical officials.

Alex Shelley!

Clap! Clap! Clap-clap-clap!

The fans are on their feet chanting until their throats are sore, screaming until their hearts give out hoping to will some life back into Shelley, but their words can’t perform miracles.

XWL Monsters Bash cuts backstage to see Todd Grisham standing alone


[Todd Grisham]
Ladies and Gentlmen after weeks of a battle, tonight these two men aim to settle their differences, in an unsanctioned contest. Two best friends and former tag team partners will do battle. Which leads to my guest at this time...The Heartbreak Kid... Shawn Michaels!


[Todd Grisham]
Shawn, we are a few moments away from your unsanctioned contest with a man that has been apart of your career for the past 18 years. He has promised to end your career tonight after insisting you no longer have what it takes, after weeks of brawls and attacks it comes down to what happens tonight...What are your final thoughts going into the battle?


[Shawn Michaels]
You said it yourself Todd, Tonight isn't an ordinary match, hell tonight isn't even a wrestling match... It's going to be a battle and a straight up fight. Last week showed the fight still left in me, Triple H has promised that tonight marks the end of Shawn Michaels but to me tonight I get prove that Shawn Michaels is still as good as he ever was. When Triple H says I haven't been the same over the past few months... I know deep down that he's right. But all of this ignited something in me that I'd lost, It gave me the fire that I lost. Tonight isn't about any championships, it's more important than that, it means more to me than any championship ever could... It's about my career, It's about showing Hunter and the world that I'm still the showstoper.


[Shawn Michaels]
There's been times where I thought myself that I was done, times where I lost my smile but tonight is different. Tonight I know that I've still got what it takes, I'm not here to just fight Hunter tonight.. I'm here to beat Hunter, I'm here to kick his teeth down his throat one more time. I did it two weeks ago, I've done it many times in the past but tonight when I connect with that Sweet Chin Music it will mean much more than any other kick I've landed in my career. Unsanctioned means anything goes I can do whatever I want to Triple H, I can do whatever I want to make him suffer and regret his actions. Thanks to Hunter my family will be at ringside... I didn't want them to see this side of me, I didn't want my kids to see their father beat another man to a bloodied mess but if that's what Hunter wants then so be it. Hunter has driven me to this, He's driven me back to the man I used to be, the man I hid down down long ago.


[Shawn Michaels]
Tonight isn't about the talking, it's about one thing and that's what happens in that ring. Hunter, I hope you're ready for the fight of your life, I hope you'r ready to see the old Shawn Michaels,  as  you're laying on that mat with your teeth in your throat looking up the lights, you will realise that  'Ol Heart Break Kid... Is still and always will be The Showstopper, The Main Event, The Icon!


With that said, HBK immediately exits leaving Todd once again standing alone as The Monster Bash continues...

As Monster Bash continues with what has already been a rollercoaster pay per view after just witnessing the United States championship change hands one of our backstage interviewers is sat live with the Miz to get some info on how he feels his pre show match against Chris Sabin went and his thoughts on the pay per view, predictions and more.

Umm ok my apologies. MIZ, good evening and thank you for sparing your time for this interview and I would like to kick things off with your thoughts on the night so far?

Umm, sorry I was expecting a little more than that if I’m to be honest. Can you at least elaborate on that for me? Why exactly has the night only been a ”4/10” for you so far?

Miz
Well why don’t you tell me why you disagree? I mean c’mon? What’s happened so far? We’ve seen one match that sucked, the only enjoyment out of that was watching Alex Shelley lose his title. We’ve seen a bunch of interviews of superstars and diva’s giving their opinions on a bunch of stuff I quite frankly don’t care about. The return of Stone Cold seemed to be a hit with the fans, no idea why, he’s just an overly aggressive drunk who got lucky about twenty years ago when he stepped in the ring and turned out he was good at beating people up. It’s a shame we’re not cavemen anymore if I stepped in the ring with him now he’d probably break a hip. A couple of guys have even gone out to the ring to bore the audience face to face. I mean we’ve even seen somebody break into the building just because he’s so desperate to land a job here and his wrestling skills are nowhere near good enough to get a contract legitimately so he pushed one of our superstars into a cupboard to escape any conflict. That’s not what the fans want to see. I mean he should be arrested not cheered.  I don’t see what’s seen entertaining about this night at all? Oh that’s right I’m forgetting one big thing aren’t I? How could I forget? We have a new owner! My gosh it totally just slipped my mind. Or did it? No, it did not. Vince McMahon has taken over XWL and the audience went crazy? Why? What’s wrong with them? Did they not see what he did when he was in charge of the WWE? The majority of his “biggest stars” and I say stars with a very flexible meaning, left to come to this company or else where,then he went on to run the company into the ground and you expect me to think that’s a good thing? What do you think will happen here? All it means is he is now in charge of another company which he can slowly but surely destroy just like he did with the WWE.

Miz if I may say so, you seem to have a very negative attitude towards everything tonight, may I just ask if that’s because you lost to Chris Sabin when you was ever so confident that it would not happen or is it because Kenny King, a superstar who hasn’t been around as much as you have did what you couldn’t do a few months ago and beat Chris’ partner in crime Alex Shelley for the United States championship?

Really? Do you reallllly think that’s why I have a negative attitude? No. You’re wrong. I have a negative attitude towards this whole night because I’m witnessing this company be run into the ground before my very eyes and not one person is doing a thing to stop it. I mean you know for a fact that your company is in some kind of trouble when you have me, the most must see superstar in wrestling history the Miz, on the god damn pre show. Yes, I may off lost tonight but that was a fluke. Let’s just have a quick history lesson for a second ok. How many pinfalls or victories does Mr Sabin hold over me now after tonight? I count three correct? He has beaten me twice and he got one fall over me in our two out of three falls match. Now how many do I have over him? I had two falls over him in one match and I beat him in the ultimate X match up. That makes three a piece so for anybody saying that he’s better than me is wrong. He got lucky and we’re tied at the minute and I will make sure that it doesn’t stay that way for long if it’s the last thing I do.

Now why would I be sour about Kenny King winning the United States champion? It’s about time Alex Shelley got knocked off his unicorn in dream land because he never has and never will somebody who should be a champion. He is not the person you want representing your company as one of the best there is. He has been swimming in water too deep for himself for way too long now and it was only a matter of time before his oxygen tank ran out of air. But let me just revisit what you said, I couldn’t get the job done? You’re so far from the truth right now you could see it looking through a telescope. I competed in three falls prior to that match up which for people with an IQ , like yourself, below 10, is the equivalent of three matches before a championship match. And if you witnessed that match you would of seen for yourself just how close I was still, after my two out of three falls match to beating Shelley and taking the title.

Well seeing as you’re not enjoying yourself so far what do you think for the rest of the card and can I get your predictions on the matches to come?

Are we really doing this? Well we of course have the other title match with John Morrison and Roman Reigns which quite frankly I can’t find not even one reason to why I would want to watch that match? I mean let’s face it, Morrison will win in a mediocre style and go back to sucking and making the intercontinental championship look as weak as he is. Another eye catching match for some fans out there may be the Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan ultimate submission match, again, no interest to me at all because none of these guys are interesting. There is nothing wrong with making somebody tap out I use my figure four leg lock to do it all the time. But when it’s just a plain submission match you may as well go and watch a ju jitsu fight instead. It’s not wrestling when the whole of the match will most likely be spent with each other trying to hump the other into submission. Of course the fan favourite Ted DiBiase is in action tonight right? That will get everyone going. Wrong, not me, Ted puts on an act to please his fans and I can see it from a mile off. That guys as fake as Nikki Bella’s chest. I mean even his recent actions have started to prove that, if you haven’t noticed the real Ted is slowly but surely coming out. And on the subject of diva’s it’s the historical diva’s elimination chamber tonight. Now that, that is the only match that is half interesting because I know just how brutal it is to step inside one of those and just how tough you have to be to get through that match. However, I do feel like it is a waste of the company’s money because the winner earns a shot at the diva’s title? I mean who even cares about diva’s. Their division is long gone and buried.

Which means my prediction for the diva’s title match of course is most likely going to be a waste of time on the card where I could be filling actually entertaining the audience. Maybe the world heavyweight title match has a bit of interest or maybe it doesn’t. It would if the two people in that match weren’t Christian and Del Rio that’s for sure. That match has about as much excitement written over it as does a follow up to the movie “the chaperone”. It’s really pointless to go much longer so I think it’s best you just leave and go be useless some place else.

The interviewer looks on at the Miz in shock but he persistently signals the door before getting up and ushering her out before the camera fades black and we roll on to our next segment.

We return from a commercial break to the face of none other than Paul Heyman. This of course, is accompanied by an ear shattering sea of boos from the thousands in attendance. Paul greets the sound with a devilish grin as the camera pans out showing us two men standing behind him, those men of course being Brock Lesnar and the return of a familiar face, Curtis Axel.

Paul and Curtis begin to laugh as Brock continues to stare into the camera.

Now as comedic as I can be, the time for jokes are over regardless of whether The Rock or Stone Cold still walk these halls or not, it's a new era here in the XWL. And that era is being brought to us by one man and one man only. A man who was responsible for the greatest wrestling company that this business has ever seen. A man who can truly call himself a revolutionary. A man willing to knock down walls, move mountains, and uproot trees in order to get his way.. And that man is…

The crowd begins to chant "Vince, Vince, Vince!!" as they clearly think that Paul is talking about the return of the McMahon family earlier.

You see this man standing to the left of me? His name is Brrrrockk Lessssnarrrrrr!! There's no man in the locker room capable of standing a fighting chance against him in the ring, simple as that, the man's a beast, a fighter, an ass kicker. His only intention going into a match is to leave his opponent bruised, battered, and most importantly, bloody, and believe me, there's no need for razors when you face Brock Lesnar if you know what I mean. When he looks across the ring at his opponent he doesn't see a person, he sees a target, a big bulls eye pointing out the next man to end the night in a hospital bed. The only reason that Christian is your World Heavy Weight Champion, the only reason that people like Ted DiBiase still have a job, is because Brock Lesnar is above this company. He's better than this, all of this, any of this. He's not a "superstar", he's a killer. And up until now he's only had one thing on his mind, money. Not the fans, not the titles, not his co-workers, none of that mattered to Brock as long as his bank account was filling up every week. I mean lets be honest, look at this man, really look at him. Do you honestly think for one second that if Brock Lesnar really wanted to go after a title here in the XWL that it wouldn't be around his waist right now? People like Christian, John Morrison, Ted Dibiase, they're the kind of "superstars" that you want to see. But Brock Lesnar, he's the type of fighter that you pay to see. And now that Brock Lesnar wants to become a champion here in the XWL, Brock Lesnar will become champion here in the XWL, simple as that. There isn't anyone past or present who has the accolades that Brock Lesnar has, no one can compare to him. In high school he dominated his weight class in amateur wrestling. In college he became an NCAA Champion. He then gets recruited by the WWE and what happens? Three time WWE Champion. The youngest champion in history at that time. But is that enough for Brock Lesnar? No. He wanted more, he wanted to be the best of the best of the best. So what does he do? He goes out and becomes UFC Champion! Don't you understand, there is nothing in this world that Brock Lesnar can't have. If he wants it, he gets it. It doesn't matter that Christian grew up wanting nothing more than to be a professional wrestler. It doesn't matter that Ted DiBiase Jr. grew up watching his father turn into a household name in this business. Brock Lesnar doesn't care about dreams, he doesn't need to, because in this reality he's the biggest, he's the toughest, and he's the strongest. He doesn't care about this business, he doesn't care about the fans, all he cares about is Brock Lesnar, and the best part about it is that you can hate him all you want, but no one, and I mean no one, can do anything about it! No amount of courage, no amount of hope, nothing, can help you against the Beast Incarnate! Nothing can stop Brock Lesnar!!

Brock flexes his muscles as Paul pauses for a moment.

And then, there's the man to the right of me. Curtis Axel. A third generation superstar, the son of Mr. Perfect himself, the grandson of Larry "The Axe" Hennig. This man standing beside me is a born star, he has all the makings of a superstar in his blood. Just look at him. No. Really. Look at him. Soak that image up, take a picture or a screenshot or whatever they do nowadays. Because this face, this is the face that is going to lead this company to greatness for years to come. Don't believe me? Ask Chris Sabin. Ask any of the wrestlers in the weeks to come that will join Sabin as a spoke on the wheel of the greatest career that this company will ever see. You may doubt me now, just like you doubted me in 2002 with Brock Lesnar, just as you doubted me in 2006 with CM Punk, but just like then, and just like always, I'll be right, and you'll be wrong.

Take a look at your programs ladies and gentleman. Take a good look at the faces looking up at you, the pictures of all your favorite superstars, all the faces that you came to see. None of them, not one, can defeat Brock Lesnar in a fight. Not one has the strength, the power, or the athleticism to last five minutes in the ring with him. None of them are as legitimate as this man standing behind me, none of them are believable champions as long as this man, this beast, Brockkk Lesnarrrrr is still in this company!… And none of those faces has the legacy of Curtis Axel. None of them have the natural gift, the born talent of my client. None of them can call themselves better than Curtis Axel because there is nothing better than Perfect, and Curtis Axel is the Perfect Prodigy. And best of all, Curtis Axel is a Paul Heyman Guy! Brock Lesnar is a true Paul Heyman guy. And there is no one in this business, Vince McMahon included that can get things done like Paul Heyman. That's why this new era coming up, it's not the "McMahon Era", no, they picked a wrong time to return, because there's only one type of guy capable of outshining the McMahon's, of outshining anybody for that matter, and that's a Heyman Guy.

*XWL’s Monster Bash returns from a commercial break, and right after the cameras start rolling, Summer Rae bursts onto the screen, spinning around and around. She freezes at the end of the frame, turns around and smiles as Fandango dances his way onto the screen. She watches on with excitement as Fandango dances across the screen.*



*As Fandango continues to dance, Renee Young walks onto the screen, confused. She holds her microphone up, opening her mouth, only for no words to come out. She sighs as Fandango continues dancing, and eventually she is able to choke up a few words.*

Uhh… Fandango? Summer?

*Summer’s smile quickly fades and she rolls her eyes, then crossing her arms and looking off to the side. Fandango ceases his dancing and turns around sharply, staring at Renee with disdain. Eventually he straightens himself out and stares off annoyed as she begins to speak. Meanwhile, Summer puts her arm around Fandango and smiles again.*

Well, first of all, I would like to thank both you, Fandango and Summer, for joining me at this time. Now, this is actually a pretty big night for the both of you. Because you, Fandango, will finally be making your debut here in XWL against Adrian Neville. I was just wondering if I could get your thoughts on making your debut on such a huge event like the Monster Bash. Are you nervous? Are you…

*Fandango shakes his head and puts a finger up to Renee’s mouth, effectively silencing her. Summer looks a little annoyed by the question.*

I believe you have… let enough words pass through those… beautiful… pink… delectable… lips. Anyway, Raquel, there’s clearly something you don’t understand about… me. I am a performer, a master of my… craft. I do not get nervous. If anybody should be nervous… it should be Andrew. You see, Andrew is the one who will… experience.. the debut of Fandango like no… other. I may be a world class dancer… and quite the catch with my ten… yes, ten… percent body fat. But above all, Raquel, I am a wrestler… and I pretty good one. Soon… I will captivate a global audience and I will prove to everybody that all the buzz should not be about that… repulsive thing named Andrew. I will prove that Andrew… is not the next big thing… but rather I… Fandango is. I guarantee you that all eyes will  be on.. me… and my stunning… body soon enough. Because, as you may or may not know… Huckster Hogan has been… removed. And thus, the XWL Universe can rejoice.  Summer and I will be doing some… rejoicing… of our own too. Huckster tried to make us follow… the rules… but we make our own rules. Huckster tried to threaten us… he tried to intimidate us. He was foolish… he did not realize Fandango cannot be intimidated. He didn’t realize that Fandango is… strong and he is a weak… feeble… hot dog shaped old man. He warned us… or tried to, at least, that we would be fired if we refused to compete. Ironically… in the end… Huckster was the one fired and now Fandango and Summer Rae are the one standing… tall again. Wait a minute… ironic… Summer?

*Summer turns away, sheepishly as Fandango turns back to Renee Young and picks up where he left off.*

Huckster Hogan thought he was the one in control… but I proved him wrong. I made a… fool out of him. I proved that nobody… or no thing… can control the entity known as… Fandango! Huckster tried to disrupt our plans, but he paid the price for it. Now… hehe… we are the ones in the spotlight… and he’s sitting at home.. rotting away and being worthless… once again, and rightfully so… may I add. Anyway, back to the point. Angelface over here… she came up with another brilliant plan. Now that Huckster is history… there is nothing he can do to fire us… he cannot fire us. Now that he is gone… we do not have to compete when we do not want to… we are the ones in control again. Therefore… the debut of Fandango has once again been put on hold. Yes… unfortunately for the millions desperate… begging to see the debut of Fandango… it will not happen tonight. It will happen when Angelface and I decide we are good… and… ready.

*Fandango takes Summer’s hand, raises it and kisses his own. The two turn around and being to walk off, but they care cut off by a mysterious voice.*

*The crowd pops as the shots zooms out, and it’s none other than the new GM, Stephanie McMahon! The two turn around, both groaning and stomping their feet like two little children.*

[Stephanie McMahon]
No, I’ve got a job to do. And so do you.

Yeah… a blazer over a dress? Some… people.

It’s like she doesn’t even know how a real woman dresses!

[Stephanie McMahon]
Oh, you want to talk about being a real woman in that dress, barbie?

[Summer Rae]
Ugh… you’re not worth our time. Go find Triple H and ask him to be a real husband for once.

[Stephanie McMahon]
Don’t you dare talk about my family, especially when we’re the ones in charge now.

[Summer Rae]
Oh, your little display earlier tonight didn’t impress us. Besides, I bet it’s not the first time you’ve had money rained down on you.

[Fandango]
Yeah, I’d bet.

*Stephanie is so enraged by Summer’s comment, she doesn’t even notice Fandango staring directly at her legs with his mouth wide open.*

LISTEN UP! I’m not going to stand here and take this from you, I’m your boss now. You two aren’t going anywhere, because, Fandango, you still have a match tonight. I’m not going to run this place like Hulk Hogan. I am going to run this company much better than he or anybody before him could have dreamed of. The McMahons are in charge now and there is going to be change. Starting with you two. You’ve been a problem since day one, and I am going to deal with you promptly. My first order of business is to ensure you two will actually be competing for once. Because, Fandango, Summer, the rule that Hulk Hogan put into effect on Breakdown still stands. The only difference is I’ll actually enforce it. If you refuse to compete tonight, Fandango, you’ll both be FIRED. You hear me? If I ever catch you two trying to sneak away again, you’ll be gone so fast it’ll make your head spin. And, you better watch your mouths from here on out. Do I make myself clear?

*Fandango and Summer do not answer her, but they opt to storm off instead, acting like children once again. Stephanie stands her ground, and a smirk grows on her face. She shares a glance with Renee Young, who forces out a smile back. Stephanie turns around and walks off leaving Renee all by herself as Monster Bash fades out to our next segment.*

It’s a celebration!

In an area outside of the arena, the music is blasting at a high level yet is nearly drowned out by the sound of laughter, chatter and people just having a grand ol’ time here tonight in Kentucky. A banner hangs high in the air and reads: “WSA Pre-show Clean Sweep!” which must mean that this is the party Don West promised to have back on the pre-show after both Sangriento and Kharma had their way with their respective opponents.

The problem?

Sangriento lost his match against Jack Swagger and West must be feeling mighty foolish now for writing a check his client couldn’t cash. However, it must have been too late, or perhaps too expensive, for West to cancel the festivities, which brings us to where we are now with the members of The Dontourage living it up, even if they’re technically celebrating an achievement that didn’t actually occur.

The area is illuminated by over-hanging lights and streamers line the gates that have fenced off the space. On one table is food, another several beverages and in the middle of everything is a dance floor where The Dontourage meet and move their limbs in time to the music. Through all this, there is no sign of any of the members that make up The West Side Army and you’d think that a slighty overweight middle-aged man, two beasts and one masked man would be easy to spot in any crowd, but they’ve either grown adept at blending in, or just aren’t around.

The camera turns around and through the fence and in the distance we spot the large West Side Army tour bus (you can tell who it belongs to because of the obnoxiously large picture of Don West on the side) with the front door slid open. The cameraman walks through a gate and makes his way over to the idle bus and the closer he gets to the vehicle, the louder West’s voice echoes high into the night sky.

…I can’t believe this company sometimes!

The cameraman steps quietly onto the bus and from the door well we’re able to see Don West standing in the back of the bus watching as Sangriento angrily paces back and forth in the aisle, somewhat reminiscent of West’s mannerisms last week. On one side of the bus is Ryback, rubbing his stomach and staring longingly out of the window at the party taking place just a few feet away. On the other side is Kharma who is watching Sangriento and West with an amused look on her face.

They took advantage of you, Sangriento! Look in the mirror, you’re a star! The greatest high-flyer in XWL today, tomorrow and yesterday!

Maybe on a different day, those words from West would have been enough to calm Sangriento down, but they’re ineffective tonight as he’s still clearly steaming after what was a heartbreaking loss to Jack Swagger. Well, only his heart was broken but the point remains the same.

₸ Don West ₸
I should have said something before, Sangriento; the exact moment I saw that they had you facing Jack Swagger I should have put my foot down, because it was just too soon after what happened to Corey for you to be out there wrestling but when I saw how excited you were to get back into the ring again… well who am I to deny you that pleasure? That loss changes nothing, Sangriento, you’re still one of the top players in this company and you can easily bounce back next week.

₸ Sangriento ₸
¿Puedo yo estoy el mejor cuando no puso un hombre como Jack Swagger?  ¡Él me hizo quedar como una broma! ¡Un amateur! Don’t you even stress yourself about Swagger because tonight meant nothing and the only thing Swagger proved in that ring was that he is selfish prick who doesn’t give a damn about anyone but himself. He claims to represent all that’s right and pure about this great country but as far as I’m concerned, you’re a better American that he could ever hope to be. You’re still a grieving man, Sangriento, you’re obviously still mourning the loss of Graves, and you know something, pal? I’m right there with you because I will never forgive this company and everyone involved for their role in the grand conspiracy to keep The West Side Army away from championship gold.

West’s words are seemingly beginning to resonate to within Sangriento who has finally stopped pacing but it’s easy to tell by his body language, with his arms crossed over his chest, that he is still upset.

Tonight, Swagger saw a grief-stricken man and what did he decide to do? He kicked him while he was down! What kind of monster does that? I’ll tell you who: a man with no regard for the well-being of another, mental or physical. Unlike him you have a heart, you have compassion for others, and that ability to feel any kind of emotion for anyone other than yourself is something the likes of Jack Swagger don’t understand. He’s probably sitting somewhere thinking that this will be the victory that launches his career in to the stratosphere, but he’s going to find out quicker than a hiccup that he’ll be exposed for the fraud that he is when this fluke win of his gets him nowhere. The real future of this company is in this bus, and Sangriento, tonight you found out first-hand something that I knew all along: that XWL has a major problem with bullying. Isn’t that right, Ryback?

Ryback slowly nods his head in agreement.

Major problem would be an understatement. This company is polluted with bullying, and up until now there's been no one to stop it. But as Eric Young is going to learn tonight, The Ryback and The West Side Army don't tolerate bullying. Finally, there is an army willing to deal out repercussions to those who deserve it, finally there is a sense of protection for those who can't protect themselves. We're just fighting the good fight and what do we get in return? Firings, broken arms, and then tonight, what happened to Sangriento.. This is how they thank us?.. Jack Swagger. Roman Reigns...Well, those two better hope that they don't pass me in the hallways, they better pray that Stephanie McMahon doesn't book them against The Human Wrecking Ball. Because if she does, I'm going to deal out justice for you Sangriento, and for Corey Graves, in the only way I know how..

The Ryback lets out a loud burp before continuing.

As for Eric Young. Well, tonight The West Side Army is going to walk home with at least one victory. This celebration won't be for nothing Don. Hell, I'll be surprised if Eric even shows up after what we did to him last week! That was genius! You should have saw his face when he realized I wasn't injured! Don I gotta hand it to you, without you, without The West Side Army, I'd just be another man with muscles shouting the same catch phrase over and over again. You gave me a purpose here in the XWL, a reason to prove that I'm the best. And so far with your help I've proven myself against the likes of Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar. I know you're upset about what happened earlier, and I know you're even more upset about what happened to Graves. But I promise you that I'm going to earn the right to be called a West Guy. I'm going to make you proud tonight when I not only defeat Eric Young, but destroy him, send a message to John Morrison, to Roman Reigns, and the rest of the locker room that The Ryback, that the West Side Army.. Rules! I'm going to prove myself to you Don, I'm going to prove that all this hard work you've put into this machine, my career, it's going to all pay off. I'm going to prove that to you, and I'm going to prove to Stephanie McMahon that I'm worthy for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. I know how much it hurt you to see Corey Graves get injured when he was so close to the gold. I know how much you want one of us to become Champion. Well I'm going to be that man West. The first of many West Side Army members to become champion. I'm going to prove that I'm ready. I'm going to prove that I'm worthy. I don't care what it takes or which doors I'll have to bust down. The West Side Army is the future, and the future, is now.

West laughs as Ryback finishes speaking.

You don’t have to prove anything to me, Ryback, because I’ve already known… I’ve known since day one that you are a better man than the fans and the people in this company give you credit for. You’ve been given nothing to work with, forced to scratch and claw when you should be treated like wrestling royalty. I mean, what were they thinking saddling you with the likes of Abraham Washington? That should have been the spark that lit up the bulb in your head letting you know that XWL had no faith in you to become a star. Yet here you are, slowly rising and becoming brighter by the day now that you’re being guided by a man who knows what he’s doing. In the five minutes it takes for you to dispose of Young once and for all, the whole world will see that you’re not the same man you were at the beginning of the year. You’re a man with a purpose, a man who cannot be denied, and like you said, you will bust down the doors that they reinforced in the hopes that they could keep you out… well, they should have prayed harder.

Now it’s Ryback who finds pleasure in West’s words and Don turns from him to Sangriento who looks to be calmer than he was a few minutes ago, and then over to Kharma who has remained silent throughout all this.

Of course, you’re not the only one who’s had it rough, Ryback. Right here in this very bus, is a woman who has lost her way. She went from one of the most dominant entities in the history on TNA to an afterthought in XWL in the blink of an eye and something about that just didn’t sit right with me. I couldn’t just let you walk away from this company without leaving your mark, Kharma, not when you still have so much havoc left I you to wreak. You taking the fight to Torrie, scaring off Madison, putting The Referee in the hospital bed, and my personal favorite: backhanding Melina onto the unemployment line, was only the beginning. The women in this company thought they got the best of you, but tonight when you dealt with that prissy princess, Aksana, you sent a message to them all that I’m sure they all heard loud and clear, a message that reads: they haven’t seen the worst of you. Things are going to get uglier from here on out, Kharma. I can see it in your eyes, they’re not lifeless any more, the fire is coming back and I’m going to help you feed the flames until they’re burning at an intensity never seen before! Now, while we’re on the subject of feeding, how about we go out there and enjoy that party, huh? Don’t think about it as a celebration of a failed past accomplishment, think of it more as a… celebration of what’s to come in the future.

₸ The Ryback ₸
Don’t have to ask me twice.

Ryback gets up and quickly makes his way over to the door. And the camera man quickly steps off the bus and slips over to the front before Ryback can spot him. As the camera focuses on Ryback walking away, West’s voice can be heard coming from the bus.

₸ Don West ₸
All right! How ‘bout you two? Kharma? Sangriento?

₸ Sangriento ₸

Okay, maybe later then. This is an all-night affair, jump in whenever you’re ready!

Some foot steps are heard drawing closer and closer to the front of the bus, then they descend down the stairs. West steps off the bus and stretches while taking in some of that fresh nighttime air before heading in the same direction Ryback went towards the sound of the festivities. When West is far enough, the camera man sneaks back onto the bus and for a brieft moment we see Sangriento doing push-ups on the ground, but he quickly disappears as Kharma’s massive frame takes up the full scope of the camera! She grunts and that’s all the warning the cameraman needs to hightail it off the best and go towards the party himself where it’s hopefully safer. We’re back where we started now and the first thing seen is Ryback sitting at a table with a huge stack of food on his plate. Meanwhile Don West is walking round intermingling with the members of The Dontourage, shaking hands with one hand and holding a plate of burgers and fries with the other.

₸ Don West ₸
Hey, how you doing? … Glad you can make it! … Well, of course The West Side Army is the best! … Good to see y… What are you doing here?



₸ Dolph Ziggler ₸
Well...I heard about this party and since I took care of Dean Ambrose on Breakdown I had nothing to do tonight, so I thought I'd pay a little visit to your little premature celebration and show you why you can't have a party without Dolph Ziggler, I was just going to hang around for a bit then leave...but I couldn't help but listen to you making excuses for Amazing Re...sorry, "Sangriento’s” loss on the pre-show but let’s face it Don, it's not about Corey Graves..it’s because he just isn't good enough. The reason I have nothing to do here tonight..is because I dealt with Dean Ambrose on Breakdown, I did what nobody else could do and I took out Dean Ambrose and now where is he? That's right, he's gone from XWL. Do you see me throwing a party for actually achieving something? Unlike your little group here, I am actually a success and I am better than each and every one of you...yet I don't need to throw a party to tell people that because I show it each and every night I step inside that ring.

₸ Don West ₸
Now while I’m sure you know about all things premature and would love nothing more than to share your expertise on the subject, let me be the first to burst that little bubble of yours by letting you know that you’re not as good as you think you are, pal. I mean is taking out Dean Ambrose supposed to be some kind of accomplishment? Is that supposed to make up for your utter failure as a World Heavyweight Champion? I mean who are you to even mention the name of Amazing Red or Sangriento? You may have been “kind” enough to sign that little petition to get Red into the Elimination Chamber, but I bet you were one of the ones actively conspiring against him to keep him out in the first place. While you’re here, uninvited may I add, why don’t you just man up and fess up and admit that you were and still are scared of Amazing Red, because he was a bigger threat to you and that championship than Chris Jericho could ever be. But since you’re here, why don’t you stay and mingle, huh? Because you probably don’t get invited to many parties and I’m sure that deep down inside hanging out with The West Side Army is a dream come true for you.


₸ Dolph Ziggler ₸
Yeah...Such a threat that he couldn't even work his way into the Elimination Chamber, and considering the "superstars" selected in that Elimination Chamber...Failing to get into that Chamber isn't some conspiracy against you and your little gang it's because Amazing Red isn't that "Amazing". As far as My World Championship reign goes...Failure or not I believe that's closer that world Championship than any of your clients have been or will ever be. You see whilst I was wrongfully thrown to the side and my rightful rematch at that Championship was taken away from me, it doesn't bother me.. I just gives me another reason to prove everyone wrong and do what I do best....that of course is Steal the Show.. Just like I did on Breakdown by destroying Dean Ambrose. Just like I'm stealing this little party right now... All the attention is on me.

Dolph laughs and walks away leaving an annoyed West alone who then begins muttering to himself.

₸ Don West ₸
The nerve of that clown. Who does he think he is? Whatever, I’m not going to let him spoil my night.

West takes a fry from in his place and judging from the look of ecstasy on his face, it must be one hell of a fry. As he begins walk around again, something off screen catches his attention and he begins moving toward it. A voice can be heard in the direction Don is walking to.



₸ Brad Maddox ₸  
Look, Carson, we're gonna be just fine, trust me! We just need to lay low for a little bit alright?

₸ Carson ₸
Why do I have to wait for something you did, Brad?

₸ Brad Maddox ₸  
I didn't KNOW we were going into the divas locker room, okay?! We're just gonna wait outside until the cops are gone, and once we get back in we'll find ourselves a referee and..

Brad and Carson now notice Don as Carson puts his camera on Don recording him.

₸ Brad Maddox ₸  
Hey! Uhm..

Brad looks at Carson and whispers "What's his name?!" and Carson whispers back "Jon?"

₸ Brad Maddox ₸  
Jon! How are ya'? So good to see you buddy, hey, you haven't seen a referee around here have you? It's nothing serious it's just... yeah.. lemme know if you find one.

Don doesn't say a word as he's almost in shock at the disrespect shown by Maddox and Carson, they walk over to the table looking at the food.

₸ Brad Maddox ₸  
I am starving! I haven't ate all day..

₸ Carson ₸
You better eat while you can, because if the cops find us for trespassing in the Divas locker room and killing Rey Mysterio you won't get food like this.

Brad shakes his head and yells.

₸ Brad Maddox ₸  
WE DIDN'T KILL REY MYSTERIO!

Everything goes silent as Brad shouts, the bus door opens as Sangriento peeks his head out the door wondering what the hell's going on.

₸ Carson ₸
Oh, there he is!

₸ Sangriento ₸

Listen, kid, let’s get one thing straight, the name is: West; Don West, and you’d be smart to remember that name because if you stick around long enough you’re going to hear a lot about me. Hey, wait a sec! I know you… yeah, I knew that mug looked familiar… Aren’t you the guy who snuck on commentary a few weeks back? Ha! Well me tell you a secret, kid, if there ever comes a time where XWL needs someone to replace those fossils at the commentator booth they’ll come to me long before they ever go to the likes of you.

Maddox looks confused trying to figure out what Sangriento said.

₸ Carson ₸
Brad, Brad, relax. I took Spanish in High School, I kinda got what he said. What do you want me to say to him?

₸ Brad Maddox ₸  
Tell him to get back onto that bus and continue hiding unless we're going to have a problem.

₸ Carson ₸
Alright, uhm.. Hola, mi amigo. El Sr. Brad Maddox le gustaria Que sepas silla de ir arriba en la sandía Cada Semana. PUEDES ir en bus y Tienen Buen Tiempo Privado.

Brad nods his head even though he doesn't know what Carson is saying.

Damn right! Now as for you.. Don. If that is your real name. I am "that guy" who was on commentary a couple of weeks ago, the guy who stole the show and changed the face of commentary once and for all. The difference between you and I is I can actually fit into the chairs at ringside so that's why I'd make a way better commentator than you alright? So you just stick to managing these scrubs and mind your own business while I climb the mountain that is XWL!

Carson is getting food as Brad notices referee Charles Robinson entering the arena, Brad grabs Carson by the collar and points at him as Carson films.

₸ Brad Maddox ₸  
There he is! Come on Carson, we need to hurry!

Brad and Carson run out of view in pursuit of the referee, after a few seconds Carson comes back and quickly dishes up a plate filled with food as Maddox can be heard shouting "Carson?!" as he runs off with his plate full of food. Don puts his hand on his head as Sangriento is as confused as ever at the door. He then shakes his head steps off the bus and begins marching over to where the party his being held. He walks right past West and a worried look appears on his promoter’s face.

₸ Don West ₸
Hey bud, where ya’ going? The party’s this way!

West hands his food to the person standing nearest to him then begins chasing after Sangriento.

₸ Don West ₸
Hey! What’s gotten into you? Let’s just take a deep breath and relax and talk this out!

Sangriento pushes the cameraman out of his way, and the camera falls to the ground and shatters causing XWL to lose the feed. We cut over to the arena where the fans were watching as the events unfolded on the titantron, but now they’re left confused and clueless until a sound blares through the speakers.



The boos start up damn-near immediately as Sangriento bursts through the curtains and makes his way down to the ring with West not far behind him still pleading with him to put the loss too Jack Swagger behind him. Sangriento grabs a microphone and rolls into the ring and doesn’t even wait for West to get in too before he starts speaking into the mic.

₸ Sangriento ₸
Derecho aquí, derecho ahora, hay algunas cosas que yo necesito a eliminar de mi pecho. No puedo permito este noche a terminar antes yo obtengo venganza porque de que ocurrió en el antes-programa. Porque de ese evento trágico, tú personas  estúpidas probablemente creen que Sangriento no es el mejor luchador en todo XWL. La lucha con Jack Swagger solamente demostró que incluso los desgraciado,  puede busco suerte. Este noche fue un grandísimo ejemplo que no es siempre verdadero que el mejor hombre solamente gana. Nada es diferente, todavía el hombre con el mas habilidad, talento y pasión de todos los hombres en XWL.

Sangriento paces back and forth in the ring while the fans continue to boo him. West is trying to calm his client down and get him to leave the ring, but Sangriento appears to be on a mission and won’t be denied.

₸ Sangriento ₸
Es importante que yo fijo mi imagen porque no quiero ustedes a olvidan como peligroso yo soy. Ahora voy a desafiar algo hombre en el parte posterior a ambula a este cuadrilátero y me lucha. Sangriento drops his microphone and begins motioning towards the stage, as if he were beckoning or coaxing someone to make their way out. Something clicks in West’s head and he picks up the microphone Sangriento dropped and begins speaking frantically.

₸ Don West ₸
Wait… is it fight you want? It’s that was this is about? Sangriento, please, you don’t have to do this. It’s just the anger and frustration speaking, you don’t have to prove yourself to these people or those wrestlers. They’re all fickle, they’re opinions and thoughts just don’t matter to me and they sure as hell shouldn’t matter to you. You already fought once, and these people didn’t pay enough to see you wrestle again. Besides, you’re wasting your time, because anyone who has half a brain is smart enough to know what a fluke that match was and those who don’t have half a brain are too stupid to find their way out here! So how about we forget about this whole thing, head back to the party and have a little fun, huh? Doesn’t that sound like a better plan? Come on, let’s get out of here.

West begins making his way over to the ropes when a sudden sound blasts through the speakers freezing him in his tracks.

















The sound of Lesnar’s theme blasting through the speakers gets a mixed reaction from the crowd and a worried reaction from West who looks back at Sangriento and is surprised to see Sangriento bouncing from side to side and throwing a couple practice jabs, not concerned in the least about the beast who apparently wants a piece of him. West backs over to the center of the ring next to his client and watches the stage as none other than Paul Heyman steps out! The music dies down and the crowd quiets a bit so that they can hear what Heyman has to say.

₸ Paul Heyman ₸
Did somebody say, a fight? Sangriento, I know you don't speak much English, but that theme that just played, those words on the titantron, they read Brockkkk Lesnarrrr. Now I don't know if you know this or not but Brock Lesnar is a former UFC Champion, Brock Lesnar is a Cage Fighting Carnivore, Brock Lesnar is a fighter. I know that we may speak different languages but fear, well that's universal, and that's what you should be feeling right now, because my client, Brock Lesnar, well, he's about to come out to this stage and down to that ring, and Sangriento, if you're still in that ring by the time he makes it down there, your career will be, no mas. Tell him Don, you're a smart man just like myself, tell your client that if he wants to continue wrestling for these nice people that he better start running. Go on tell him..

Just then Brock Lesnar enters through the curtain, passes Heyman, and slowly continues on to the ring.

₸ Paul Heyman ₸

₸ Don West ₸
Whoa, whoa, whoa! You think we’re the ones who are afraid, Paul? Because the last time that Brock Lesnar got into the ring with a member of The West Side Army, he was lucky that that old sack of bones, The Undertaker, got in the way so that The Ryback wasn’t able to end his career right there on the spot. But I’m sure that you’ll finish that job for us, Paul, because you’re a bigger threat to Brock Lesnar than we could ever hope to be! Let me ask you a real simple question, Paul: Where have you ever taken your clients in XWL, huh? How many times has the so-called “carnivore” ended up on the unemployment line? Please tell me the amount of times CM Punk has disappeared from the face of the planet because I’ve honestly lost count. And don’t even get me started on Curtis Axel who you gave on up after a few minutes with him. Face it, Paul, in XWL your name means absolutely nothing! And as far as I’m concerned you and Zeb Colter are trespassing in my territory and I’ll… NO!

Brock Lesnar has made it down to ringside and if you blinked you missed Sangriento dash over to the ropes and leap over them with a plancha only to get caught in midair by the freak of nature known as Lesnar! Sangriento struggles to get out of Lesnar’s clutches but the masked man is much too small and Lesnar is much too strong. Lesnar lifts Sangriento over his shoulders, ready to drop him with an F5 right there on the outside of the ring.

While Sangriento throws a seris of rapid-fire elbows to the side of Lesnar’s head, West scrambles out of the ring and whacks Lesnar over the head with his microphone! Sangriento slides off Lesnar’s shoulders and West immediately grabs him by the wrist and pulls him up the ramp while Sangriento yells things in Lesnar’s direction who is dazed on his feet trying to shake the cobwebs.

West and Heyman make brief contact on the ramp before West pulls Sangriento backstage. The cameras cut over to Brock standing there at the foot of the ramp with a trickle of running down his forehead to the smile on his face.

Monster's Bash takes a brief pause from the action to head backstage with XWL's new backstage interviewer, Kyle Durden. Kyle Durden is standing backstage looking excited to get a debut you on the PPV.**

Kyle Durden
Hey XWL Universe I am Kyle Durden and I am new to XWL. It is going to be a honor to interview the top stars of XWL. So with that said I am hoping to get a top interview right now. Earlier you all witnessed Kenny King become the new United States Champion after beating the reigning and defending Alex Shelley. I am hoping to get a few word with Kenny right now and hopefully he will be here with me in just a sec.....

**Kyle is cut off by the sound of someone clearing his throat. Kyle turns around and the camera pans out and reveals, KEVIN STEEN standing there with his hood up staring at Kyle. Kyle nearly jumps out of his skin when he realises who it is.**

Oh ermm Hey Kevin, its nice to see you again. ermmm I mean ladies and gentlemen it looks like we have a slight change in who I am interviewing. Tonight it looks like my guess is none other than Kevin Steen. Kevin tonight you go one on one with the Best in the World, CM Punk. You two have had heated exchanges both physically and verbally. CM Punk had some choice words for you this evening when he was interviewed earlier. What do you have to say in reply to his words and how are you feeling going into possibly the biggest match of your career?

**Kevin Steen stands closer and does not take this eyes off Kyle with a intimidating look in his eyes but he also does not answer Kyle.**

Ermm Kevin would you care to.....

Ermm I, errmm, sure?



**Kevin Steen then spits the gum that he is chewing right in the face of Kyle Durden without showing any emotion. Kyle stands there with a bit of saliva on his face looking grossed out.**

**Kevin Steen proceeds to walk away from Kyle and looks like he doesn't want to comment on anything tonight. Kyle starts to wipe his face still grossed out after what just happened.**

Well I guess its back to you guys at ringside.

*As we return to the Monster Bash, the official theme song, "Monster" by Skillet, blares across the arena via the PA System. The cameras pan over to the commentary unit of Jim Ross, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Michael Cole who welcome us back to the arena here in Lexington, Kentucky.*

[Jim Ross]
Ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the Monster Bash and we are about to experience something we have never experienced before, for the first time ever it'll be "The People's Champion" The Rock going one on one with the man who blames the people for everything wrong with his life, "The Dashingly Insane" Cody Rhodes.

[Jerry Lawler]
You know what? I can't believe it took so long for these two to finally meet in the ring, but I can't wait for it! This is gonna be great, the Rock's gonna layeth the smackdown on Cody tonight!

[Michael Cole]
Oh please, let me tell you why Cody and the Rock have never faced before. It's because the Rock is scared of Cody! Always has been, always will be! I don't care that I took a Stone Cold Stunner, I'm out here for Cody!

[Jim Ross]
How can you even say that with a straight face?

[Michael Cole]
It's the truth, that's why. As you know Cody and I are great friends, his ability to preach the truth has rubbed off on me a bit.

[Jerry Lawler]
Oh, I hope he knocks you out with a phone again.

[Michael Cole]
My shoelaces were untied and I tripped, I wasn't knocked out!

[Jim Ross]
Anyway, we've got a job to do here. As you folks may recall, Cody Rhodes came out the week after losing the I Quit Match to long time rival Ted DiBiase and attacked the Rock, laying him out with the Cross Rhodes unprovoked.

[Michael Cole]
Unprovoked? I never heard such garbage.

[Jerry Lawler]
Now, the week after that Cody came back out blamed the fans, the people who pay his salary, for everything wrong with his life. From losing the World Heavyweight Championship to his recent loss to Ted at an Eye for an Eye.

[Jim Ross]
And because of this, he set his sights on "The People's Champion" himself, the Rock, in order to stick it to all of our great fans.

[Michael Cole]
Oh, he really stuck it to them when he knocked the Rock out with the Beautiful Disaster Kick!

[Jim Ross]
Well, say what you want about this whole situation, but Cody has proven that Disaster Kick to be very effective as of late.

[Jerry Lawler]
Yeah, and so was sneak attacking the Rock from behind and dropping one of these containers backstage on him.

[Michael Cole]
Oh, you make Cody out to be the bad guy, ignoring all the things the Rock has done to him over the past two years!

[Jim Ross]
Care to enlighten us, Cole?

[Michael Cole]
Cody always had the Rock's back and...

[Jim Ross]
Anyway, the Rock had enough and came out to confront Cody man to man this past week on Breakdownn.

[Jerry Lawler]
And there the stage was set, Rock challenged "The Dashingly Insane One" to go one on one with "The Great One" here tonight!

[Michael Cole]
I wasn't done talking.

[Jim Ross]
And that's how we got to where we are tonight.  "The Dashingly Insane One" versus "The Great One." "The Poison of XWL" versus "The People's Champion."  For the first time ever, it's gonna be Cody Rhodes versus the Rock!

ATTENTION PLEASE.



*The mood in the arena quickly changes as Cody’s theme hits the PA System, boos echoing across the arena as “The Dashingly Insane One” makes his way out to the stage. Cody’s steps are almost like leaps as he steps into the spotlight, draping his hood over his head the entire time. He walks to the part of the stage where it meets the entrance ramp and stops, before squatting down whilst continuing to hold his hood over his head. Cody remains like this for a few moments before popping back up and revealing a huge smirk on his face.*



[Michael Cole]
It’s Codyyyyyyyyyyyy time!

[Jerry Lawler]
Oh please.

[Jim Ross]
Cody Rhodes looks game tonight, he’s ready for this big first time ever match up.

[Michael Cole]
First, and last time ever, may I add.

*Cody stands atop of the stage for a moment, gazing across the arena with that dastardly smirk on his face. The fans continue to heckle him as he finally begins to move on down the ramp, but “XWL’s Finest” brushes them off and marches on down the ramp. He stops right at the protective flooring by the ring, where his smirk quickly disappears. He takes another look around the arena before shouting “CHANGE IS IN THE AIR! TICK TOCK, ROCK!”*



[Jerry Lawler]
This guy is so full of himself, always going on and on about “change.”

[Jim Ross]
Change for his own good.

[Michael Cole]
These people their chance. but they blew it. Cody’s out for himself now, and rightfully so!

[Jerry Lawler]
I just don’t get you sometimes.

*Cody unzips his jacket and hands it to a nearby ringside screw member, telling the worker to guard the jacket with his life. Cody laughs at him before sharply changing his demeanor, giving the poor worker a scowl and chasing him off. Cody continues on and heads up the steel steps, leaping up to the apron where he stops and wipes his boots before heading into the ring. He slaps himself in the face a few times before ascending to the top rope, where he takes another moment to look across the arena, with a confident smirk falling upon his face once again.*



[Jim Ross]
I believe Cody is ready for this, but I think he’s getting a little overzealous here, the Rock is one man you do not want to underestimate.

[Michael Cole]
Here we go again, JR. Let’s take a look at the facts. Cody, 3. Rock, NOTHING. ZIP. NADDA.

[Jim Ross]
Well, let’s see how that scoring stands after they actually meet in that very ring here tonight.

*Codys theme dies down as he gets himself prepared for this upcoming match. A few small cheers can be heard before suddenly The Great One's theme blasts out of the P.A*





*The crowd are on their feet for The Peoples champion as he rushes out onto the stage. He looks on straight towards the ring where Cody is standing and stops for a second in the centre of the stage to focus on his opponent. After a few moments he heads to one corner of the stage and looks on at the fans who are cheering and going wild for The Rock. He points up and smiles to them before heading to the other corner and repeating his actions, before heading back to the top of the ramp and pausing for a moment*

[Jerry Lawler]
Well after what The Rock said earlier tonight it sounds like he's ready to whoop some ass!

[Michael Cole]
The Rock is all talk! We've watched him go against Cody and he's done nothing!

[Jim Ross]
The Rock is always able to step up to the mark. Don't count him out before the match has even begun. He certainly knows just what he's doing out there tonight.



*Rock begins to walk down the ramp, not taking his eyes of his opponent. Cody is smirking in the ring. Already seeming like he has a plan to take Rock out and prove to the world he is able to take care of business and beat The Rock. *

[Jerry Lawler]
I think that Rock will be aware and have brought a game plan of his own. He’s been in some huge matches here so we’ll have to see if he can put on another amazing performance again tonight.*[/b]

[Michael Cole]
Rock could maybe do that 5 years ago but now just look! Cody is the future of this company whether you like it or not!

[Jerry Lawler]
Oh shut up Cole!



*Rock leaps up onto the apron and up on the turnbuckle, towards one side of the crowd. He raises his hand high in the air, to cheers and appreciation from The Rock’s fans. After a few seconds of being up on the turnbuckle he drops down into the ring and begins to shake off and get ready for the match. The ref comes over to check that he is ready to compete and Rock nods before focusing on Cody and getting into the mindframe for this match. The ref then looks on and points to the bellkeeper*

[Jerry Lawler]
Here we go!

*The bell sounds, and the crowd explodes. They are just as ready for this huge first time ever encounter as both the Rock and Cody Rhodes. The two stay in their respective corners for a moment, with solemn expressions on their faces. After a few seconds pass, they both begin to step forward and meet up in the center of the ring. The two lock eyes, and never turn their heads as the crowd begins to chant “ROCKY! ROCKY! ROCKY!” Rock looks around the arena as they chant, soaking it all in as Cody just rolls his eyes and shakes his head. Soon, their eyes meet again and they drown out everything the crowd is doing. Rock mouths “Let’s go” and raises his arms, telling Cody to “just bring it!” Cody smirks and throws the first punch, but Rock blocks out and jabs him with a right!*

[Jim Ross]
They’re off! The Rock is taking it to Cody Rhodes!

[Michael Cole]
Come on Cody!

[Jerry Lawler]
This is great!

*The fans go wild as the Rock hits Cody with another hard right, sending “XWL’s Finest” back a step. He goes for another shot, which Cody is able to duck, and he returns the favor. He lands a right into Rock’s jaw, knocking him back as well. Rock shakes it off and quickly hits him with a right, which Cody shakes off too, returning the favor once again! The two are met in a gridlock, trading shots back and forth with both men refusing to give. Neither of them are willing to back down in the early stages of such a huge match. These two have had quite the complicated relationship over the past two years here in XWL, and they are finally meeting in a ring here tonight at the Monster Bash. Just as neither man is willing to give, the crowd is unanimous in their support for the Rock, cheering on every shot he hits Cody with. They seem to be fuel to the Rock, as he starts to take control of the brawl, landing both rights and lefts now. Cody is forced back to the ropes, where Rock hits him with a clothesline, dumping him to the outside!*

Cody was just tossed out of the ring like a ragdoll by the Rock, things are not looking good for “The Dashingly Insane One” early on.

[Jerry Lawler]
Cody’s thinking twice about his life choices right about now.

[Michael Cole]
Calm down you two, it’s just a rough start for Cody. He’ll get back into it! Let’s go Cody! Let’s go Cody! Let’s go Cody!

*Cody is out on the mat stomach first, barely able to push himself up with his hands after being rocked (no pun intended) from the Rock’s punches. Cody slowly crawls up to his hands and knees, while the Rock remains in the ring, crouching down and going into his signature “Brahma Bull” stance. The fans here in Kentucky applaud, but the Rock shows no emotion. He licks his lips and watches Cody with anticipation as he climbs back up to his feet. Cody slaps himself in the face again before turning around and banging on the spanish announce table. He turns around and bangs on the apron, before kicking the steel steps. He runs his hands through his hair, and takes a deep breath. Rock still hasn’t moved yet as Cody paces back and forth on the outside for a bit, before finally deciding to climb up the steel steps. He walks onto the apron with caution, slowly going through the ropes to meet up with the stoic Rock.*

Maybe it’s just me, but it looks like Cody’s a little hesitant to get in there with the Rock again.

[Michael Cole]
I think that’s your old age, Lawler.

*As Cody enters the ring, Rock taunts him with “Just Bring It” again, sending the insane superstar into a frenzy. He turns and kicks away at the bottom turnbuckle, clearly the mind games from the Rock have gotten into his twisted head here. He quickly turns around and charges at Rock, who still hasn’t moved, and Rock easily sidesteps him. Cody, frustrated, clenches his fists and turns to the Rock, who shows him no emotion in return. Cody lunges again, just to get sidestepped once more. Now when the two exchange looks again, the Rock lets out a big old grin to the approval of the crowd, but not Cody. Cody tries for one final third time, and Rock ducks a clothesline attempt, sending him crashing into the corner. Rock rushes over to him, taking his head and driving it into the top turnbuckle. He smashes it a few times before finally letting up, and Cody slowly sinks into the corner, leaving him vulnerable to the Rock’s next move.*

The Rock’s got the clear advantage here in the early going, Cody needs to keep his head in the game here.

[Michael Cole]
Okay, I admit it, the Rock might be in control right now, but Cody can outlast him anyday of the week!

[Jerry Lawler]
Well, the Rock will be sure to put that to test.

*Referee John Cone tries to intervene as Rock goes for some more offense in the corner. Rock tells him to let him go, but Cone argues that Cody is on the ropes and therefore he can’t touch him without risking a disqualification. Rock throws his hands up and turns his back to the official, who goes back to check on Cody, only for Cody to run right past him, nearly knocking him down in the process. Cody clobbers the Rock from behind in the back of the head, sending him to his knees. Rock is helpless as Cody measures his shot, connecting with a kick right to the skull. Rock falls to the mat like a tree in the woods, as Cody stands above him, letting out a smirk. Cody seems proud of his hand work, and enjoys seeing the Rock at his feet, just like how he said on Breakdown this past week. When he goes in for another, he is also blocked by John Cone.*

[Michael Cole]
Get out of the way, ref!

[Jerry Lawler]
Yet, you had no problem with him stopping the Rock a few seconds ago.

[Jim Ross]
I think the Rock may be out cold here, what a nasty kick from Cody Rhodes there.

*As the Rock grabs the bottom rope, struggling to stand up on his own, Cody bends down and tilts his head. He laughs, and from the hard camera side we see the shot of a fallen Rock trying to get up, and Cody’s face right behind him, laughing at his pain and misfortune. Cody taunts the Rock, slapping him in the back of the head and telling him to get back up on his feet. Cody backs up a little bit once the Rock is up on his knees, and mocks his “just bring it taunt” taunt with a smirk on his face. The Rock takes none of this however, and charges at Cody, taking him down with a clothesline. Cody shoots back up immediately and puts an end to the Rock’s short burst of offense, hitting him in the gut with a kick. Rock hunches over and Cody bounces off the ropes, dropping right before the Rock, before nailing him with a little jab, in the shades of his brother Goldust.*

Cody likes to talk down about his family a lot, but he sure is fond of their moves.

[Michael Cole]
He’s simply taking the very few things his brother and father were good at and making them great, it only took the Rhodes family three tries to get it right.

*Rock flies up in the air from that jab to the jaw and lands on his back. Cody smirks and lets out a devilish laugh as he stands up and begins to stalk his opponent. He starts to work on the left leg of The Rock and starts stomping away. The Rock is able to get his hand to one of the ropes at referee John Cone starts the 5 count…1….2….3….while on the three count Cody propels himself higher using the ropes as leverage and slams down hard on The Rocks ankle. Rock lets out a little scream and seems to be in pain. Just as the ref hit the 4 count, Cody backs away, looking happy with his actions as the ref just has a quick check to make sure The Rock is okay. He doesn’t show any signs of quitting just yet and Cody charges towards him only for the referee to block the path once more...*

[Michael Cole]
What’s the referee doing! He’s stopped the fight too many times now just let Cody past!

[Jerry Lawler]
Quiet Cole! Let the man do his job! I’d like to see you try and do better…

*Rock manages to pull himself up to one knee as Cody is getting slightly frustrated with the referee not letting him past.  Cody then is allowed and heads over to Rock who is trying to get up but before he can is slapped across the face by Cody. The crowd boo and jeer loudly at the disrespect shown by Cody there. Cody then picks up The Rock and tries to irish whip him into the corner of the ring. He is able to do so but Rock comes charging back out of the corner and towards Cody and is able to connect with a huge clothesline knocking Cody down. Cody quickly gets back up and charges at Rock who knocks him down with another clothesline to the delight of the fans. Cody then for a third time charges at Rock who again attempts another clothesline but this time Cody is smarter than him and is able to duck under the arm of The Rock and flies into the other ropes. Cody jumps and rebounds off the second rope. Rock turns around perfectly just as Cody wanted as he connects beautifully with the disaster kick. The impact can be heard all over the ring as Rock is down. Cody seems to be wanting to try and end this early as he goes for a quick cover.*

You’re gonna’ have to do a lot more than that to keep The Rock down in a match like this Cody!

[Jerry Lawler]
To push The Rock to his limit is something few superstars are able to do! Cody is certainly gonna’ have to be at his best if he wants to get the win here tonight.

*Rock rolls away from Cody after the kickout and goes to just under the ropes. Cody gets up, frustrated with what just happened and kicks Rock out of the ring. Who lands hard on his shoulder. Cody slides out and begins to stalk Rock like a hunter would their prey. Cody shouts for Rock to get up and he slowly does, dragging himself up using the barricade. Fans nearby are encouraging Rock to get up and shouting and warning him but that kick seemed to have dazed him. Rock manages to pull himself up as Cody goes straight for him and spins him around and tries to irish whip him into the steel steps, Rock counters and is able to reverse the move and turn it into an irish whip on Cody into the steel steps. Cody slams hard against them as Rock takes a second to just get his breath. He leans against the barricade and asks if anyone has any water. A fan hands him a bottle, he takes a few gulbs of water before giving them it back to the fan and going to Cody. He picks up Cody and slams his head hard into the steel steps before throwing him back into the ring.*

It seems like Cody’s getting a lot more than he bargained for tonight!

[Michael Cole]
Just give it time Jerry! Rock is getting tired already!

*Rock rolls back in and once again gets down in position, stalking Cody as he slowly drags himself up.  Cody gets up to one knee and slams the corner turnbuckle pad in frustration. As he gets up to his feet he turns around and Rock is prepared and locks him in for The Rock bottom! The crowd are going wild but Cody is doing all he can to get out, struggling and hitting The Rock. Eventually after several elbow shots to the temple The Rock lets go of the hold but as Cody goes for a punch it is blocked by The Rock and he comes on the attack with a right hand of his own! The crowd are beginning to get behind The Rock as he punches Cody and begins to build momentum. Just as he goes for one last punch with his arm raises in the air, Cody kicks him in the gut. Cody then tries to irish whip Rock into the corner but Rock keeps hold of Codys arm and as he gets past Cody spins around before delivering his own kick to the gut and quickly planting a DDT and Cody is out in the centre of the ring as Rock notices this and looks to take advantage*

Get up Cody!

*Rock looks around as the crowd are screaming and cheering for him. He kicks Codys arms in towards his body and slowly takes off his elbow pad. He looks down at Cody before begging the taunt, shaking his arms and then begins to run off the ropes. He is able to run off one set of ropes and over Cody and the others but as he gets back and goes for the elbow drop Cody rolls away! Rock lands hard on the now exposed elbow which instantly seems to show discomfort coming off that hard impact. Cody now is the first to his feet and picks Rock up only to twist his arm around and pull it down, hurting both the elbow and shoulder joint. Cody is clearly playing this smart and focusing on picking apart different body parts to try and weaken The Rock. Cody then spins around one more time applying even more pressure to the arm before pressing down on the elbow which causes Rock to drop down to one knee. Cody holds Rocks arm extended out in the air before kicking it just below the elbow. He does this a few times before Rock is able to pull it away.*

Cody seems to be tactically working away on the arm of The Rock. Effectively stopping The Rock bottom and The Peoples Elbow. Smart work by the young superstar.

[Michael Cole]
That’s what he’s all about. Cody knows exactly what to do inside that ring and doesn’t make mistakes.
*Cody slowly seems like his offense is running out as The Rock starts getting up to his feet. The crowd are on his side as he is able to try and fight back only for a few moments though before as soon as Cody hits a strike on the arm Rock goes down in agony once more. Cody slaps Rock across the face before picking him up and using a lot of strength holding him in place for an Alabama slam. Rock is helpless as he is slammed to the mat. The crowd are watching on silently as Cody picks Rock up once more and places the weak arm behind his back before picking him up and slamming him down to the mat causing the power from the slam and also the weight of Rock himself to go crashing down on his arm. Cody smirks and laughs before shouting to the crowd “JUST LOOK AT YOUR CHAMPION!” *

Cody has Rock right where he wants him!

Quiet Cole! I just hope the damage Cody is doing to the arm of Rock isn’t anything too serious.

[Jim Ross]
Cody is certainly showing off his arrogance here…

You got that right. Just focus on the match instead of talking smack about your opponent!

*Cody laughs at Rock who is crawling over to the corner of the ring before kicking him in the back and stomping away causing him to go back down to the floor. Cody spends a few moments just mocking The Great One, just allowing him to slowly get to the corner and help himself up. As he does so he turns into Cody who is up in his face pointing and screaming declaring himself as the best. He slaps Rock who doesn’t take it well at all. He retaliates with a slap off his own which shocks Cody. He has an open mouthed expression of shock, clearly not expecting to be slapped back. Rock then pushes Cody who flies about 3 feet before falling over and landing on his back. Rock takes a few paces forward before dropping down into his signature ready position and extends his arm for him to ‘just bring it’. Cody is furious and tries to get up but as he does Rock charges forward which causes Cody to get lost in a panic and exit the ring. He rolls out but Rock follows. Rock charges and nails an unsuspecting Cody with a huge clothesline. Cody is slamming the mat in anger while he’s on the floor and isn’t impressed with what just happened while he holds his head in pain. Rock rolls back into the ring and out again to restart the count before picking up Cody and throwing him over the announcers table onto Jerry, JR and Cole!*

Rock just threw Cody straight into us!

[Jim Ross]
Both men are giving it their all. They have been through a lot inside that ring and now it’s been taking to the outside and Cody Rhodes has just been thrown  over the announcers table and it looks like Rock isn’t done yet.

[Michael Cole]
C’mon Cody you can do this! Get up!

*Cole begins to clap, trying his best to cheer Cody on and get him back into the fight. The Rock makes his way over and shoves Cole out of his way, knocking him onto his keester. As Rock steps over the announcer’s wires, he cuts off the feed and all we can hear is a rustling noise. He grabs Cody by the head, trying to pick him up, but is pulled rib-first into the side of the announce table! The fans let out a loud “oh” as Rock drops down his knees, holding onto the table to support himself. Cody finally gets himself up and notices the Rock’s vulnerable position, grabbing his arm and slamming it straight into the table! Rock bounces off and grabs onto his arm, and now one has to think Cody has done some serious damage to the Rock’s arm. John Cone rushes to the outside, points to the ring and demands for Cody to get back in.*

[Jim Ross]
This is no good, I really think Cody is doing serious damage to the Rock’s arm here.

[Michael Cole]
Good! Maybe he can do something about that eyebrow next!

[Jerry Lawler]
Well, JR, it’s a good thing the referee is doing his job and trying his best to prevent an injury to the Rock.

[Jim Ross]
Only problem there is Cody is determined to hurt the Rock, and I don’t think he’ll stop until the Rock is seriously injured.

*Cody, shockingly, complies and grabs the Rock, picking him up by the trunks. He clobbers him in the back a few times, making sure he stays down, before rolling him into the ring. Cody slowly approaches the ring, entering rather furtively. As he slides back in under the bottom rope, he remains on his hands and knees as he watches the Rock, focusing on his injured, and exposed, arm. Cody is locked on as he climbs up to his feet, getting ahead of himself as he raises his right leg while he makes his way over to Rock. Once he finally reaches his rival. he slams his boot down straight into the Rock’s arm, causing him to yell out in pain. Cody relishes in his agony and tries to pretend like he doesn’t care as the Rock rolls towards the bottom rope again. Trying to help their “champion” the crowd begins chanting “Cody Sucks!” in an attempt to get into his head.*

These people have no respect! Rocky sucks! Rocky sucks!

[Jerry Lawler]
I thought you were supposed to be the “unbiased” one here.

[Michael Cole]
When have I ever been biased?

*The jam packed crowd continues to heckle Cody with the “Cody Sucks” chants, but he rolls his eyes and looks down upon them. He points out their “hero” and smiles, before going back to working and delivering the boot right into the Rock’s back. Cody continues to stomp away, but the Rock somehow takes all the shots with no pain, none of the shots even being able to faze him. He pulls himself up with the ropes, and Cody takes advantage, kicking the middle rope, causing it to shoot up and hit the Rock square in the throat! Rock falls back down to the mat and holds onto his throat as he begins coughing, Cody has effectively displayed his knowledge of how to use the ring and ringside area environment to his advantage tonight. Cody decides to waste no more time and seems to be finished with his toying, yanking Rock up off the and sending him shoulder first into the ring post!*

[Jerry Lawler]
Oh! Cody is using every part of this arena as a weapon!

[Jim Ross]
Devious, yet genius tactic from Cody, it’s all legal here.

*Rock remains sandwiched in between the middle and top rope as Cody goes in for his next move, looking for a school boy. The Rock is able to roll out of it, however, and nails Cody with a punch from his good arm. Using the good arm, Rock drills Cody a couple of times before he bounces off the ropes, connecting with a clothesline on the rebound! The fans have gotten up off their feet as one of the Rock’s arms have gone limp, but he uses the other to call Cody up to his feet. Cody slowly gets up and the Rock is quick to react, throwing him into the corner. Cody buckles and sinks down a little bit, only being able to hold himself up because he locked his arms around the perpendicular top ropes. Rock makes his way over and works over his body with a few more punches before grabbing him by the legs, placing him up on the top rope! Everybody knows what’s coming next as the Rock makes the climb as well, setting Cody up for the Superplex! At the last moment, however, Cody is able to block it and hits Rock in the head a few times times, dazing him long enough so he can hit a sunset flip powerbomb!*

By god! What a disgusting bump, the Rock’s head just smashing into the canvas!

[Michael Cole]
Look at this, every time the Rock gets some offense, Cody puts him back down!

[Jerry Lawler]
You know, I actually can’t argue that.

*Even though the Rock took the worst hit from that bump, Cody didn’t get off easy, either. The Rock is out on his back while Cody remains seated in the corner, unable to bring himself up to his feet. He breathes heavily, looking at the Rock astonished, before letting out a brief chuckle and standing up, proud of his handy work after he is able to overcome what he just pulled off. The Rock still has barely moved as Cody grabs him again, slowly pulling him up off the mat. He knees him in the gut before bending over, lifting him up onto his shoulders, looking for the Alabama Slam again. This time, Rock is the one who rolls through, grabbing Cody’s legs and putting him in the Sharpshooter! The fans EXPLODE as the Rock has him caught in one of the most grueling submission maneuvers of all time, right in the center of the ring where there is nowhere for “The Dashingly Insane One” to go.*

[Jerry Lawler]
I think this might be it! Cody has to tap!

[Jim Ross]
What a counter by the Rock! I have never seen anything like that in my life, Rock just won’t quit!

[Michael Cole]
Cody’s strong! He won’t tap! He can’t!

*Despite Cole’s encouraging words, it seems like Cody may have no other option. He is trapped in the center of the ring, no where to go, and the Rock continues to apply pressure. Rock, being the ring veteran he is, uses his good arm to apply most of the pressure, while using his weaker arm to simply hold Cody’s legs in place. Cody screams out in pain as he tries to crawl to the ropes, while the Rock lets out a roar instead, in what could perhaps become a victory roar in just a matter of moments. Just like the Rock, Cody proves to be resilient, that he is a fighter, and he musters the strength to push his upper body up. From there, he slowly begins crawling to the ropes, and the Rock tries his best to hold him in place. Rock lets up on the hold a little bit, trying to drag him into the center of the ring, and Cody takes this split second of opportunity to kick him off. Cody shoots up to his feet, and takes the Rock off his with a beautiful standing dropkick.*

[Michael Cole]
Phew!

[Jim Ross]
Perfectly executed standing dropkick from Rhodes, Rock just hasn’t been able to get any momentum going in quite awhile.

*Rock is down once again as Cody takes a knee after executing the dropkick, enjoying his handiwork once again. Cody takes the Rock as he begins to get up and sets up for the Silver Spoon DDT, but is pushed off at the last moment. Rock charges at him, connecting with a float over DDT! The flans applaud as the Rock kips up and beats on his chest, calling for the end. Cody gets up to his feet in the meantime and the Rock turns him around, going for the Rock Bottom again! Cody slips out once more, but this time there’s a lethal consequence, he connects with the Cross Rhodes out of nowhere! He crawls in for the cover, hooking the leg!

BAH GAWD I THOUGHT CODY HAD THIS MATCH WON!

It takes a lot to be able to kick out of the cross Rhodes. You sure can’t knock Rock for having great willpower and not wanting to give up. Especially after everything Cody has done to him.

*Cody slams down on the mat 3 times, faster than John Cone did and begins to argue with the referee screaming that it should have been a 3 count. The ref just defends his ground and remains adamant that it was only a 2, 2 and a half at most. Cody turns towards Rock with a look of anger. He charges over and grabs one of Rocks legs but is met with a boot to the face with the other. Cody takes a pace back before going again only to be met with two boots to the face, knocking Cody back even further. During this time Rock is able to use the ropes and pull himself up with his good arm. Cody comes charging forward but The Rock shows cat-like reflexes and throws Cody over the top rope. Rock then drops to one knee in pain holding his bad arm as it was that what was used in order to get Cody over the top. Rock then begins to dig down deep, in order to break the pain barrier and slaps his bad shoulder a few times before pointing to the fans. Clearly in pain but not wanting to show signs of weakness although it may be too late.*

[Jerry Lawler]
We all know Rock is hurt, but you gotta’ admire him fighting through!

*Rock rolls out to the outside and picks up Cody and slams him into the ringside barricade. He lands hard and holds his face. Rock laughs before grabbing him by the hair and doing it once more. As he rebounds off John Cone shouts for them both to get back in the ring. Rock drags Cody around the ring before slamming him into the steel post at the corner. He then rolls Cody inside before rolling in himself. Rock then picks up Cody and whips him into the ropes, Cody comes charging forward as Rock drops to the mat and Cody runs over him. As Cody comes back rebounding off the second set of ropes he is met with a huge spine buster….or so The Rock thought. As Cody is in the air he is able to quickly manoeuvre his body and counter with a tornado DDT, knocking The Rock down. Both men are down as the referee begins to count to 10…*

C’mon Cody! Get up! You can do this!

Both men have given it their all. Just look at what they’ve been through so far.

*Both men are at opposite sides of the ring, pulling themselves up by the ropes. The crowd are cheering Rock on and it seems to be working. Both men get up just after the 7 count. They look at each other and quickly head over and begin to deliver a series of shots to each other…Cody…Rock…Cody…Rock…Cody…Rock no single man is able to gain momentum. The crowd are egging Rock on as he slowly begins hitting more and more shots without response from Cody. He continues to hit his signature strikes which land Cody on the ropes, as he repels off Rock hits a huge spinebuster, the crowd are on their feet! Rock looks around, slowly realising what time it is. He kicks Cody into the centre and kicks his arms beside him before once again going for the peoples elbow. He wastes no time and looks to be going for the same arm as last time. He rebounds off both sets of ropes and drops down connecting with the peoples elbow! The crowd are going crazy but Rock rolls away in agony. All he has to do is pin now and it’s over but he landed hard on that bad elbow just then. Cody is out.Rock slowly realises what this means for him and tries to make the most of the situation. A few vital seconds have passed which could mean the difference between a win and a loss right now but Rock rolls himself over and is able to throw a arm on top of a helpless Cody as referee John Cone drops down to the mat and begins to count the pin*

It’s all over! Rock may have just done this!

[Michael Cole]

Yes! Yes! I knew it! Atta’ boy Cody!

*Rock rolls away looking shocked as Cody just managed to kick out. Both men are showing a lot of heart and determination in this fight and don’t look like showing any signs of quitting just yet no matter how much has been taken out of them. Rock is able to get up faster than Cody and begins the offence, he whips Cody into the ropes before quickly knocking him down with a clothesline. The pace seems to pick up as Cody quickly comes back for a another attack only for Rock this time to hit a snap belly to belly suplex, sending Cody flying. Cody quickly uses the corner to help him up and as Rock comes charging he sticks out a boot which Rock runs straight into. Causing him to step back. Cody takes advantage and hits a running low dropkick to the knee of Rock, knocking him down. As Cody notices this is his chance he hits another low dropkick but this time on the arm of Rock. Cody clearly wants the Rock to feel pain and suffer tonight as he rolls around on the mat in agony now. Unable to hide the pain away.*

[Jim Ross]
You can only imagine the pain The Rock is going through right now. Cody has done some intense damage to that arm.

[Michael Cole]
Cody is doing this smart. He knows what he needs to do to win this!


*Cody steps up and begins to stalk his opponent. He grabs Rock and picks him up before slamming him down with a suplex, perfectly executed. The crowd are continuing to boo Cody each time he gains momentum and takes the advantage. The crowd are egging Rock on and trying to get him back in this but Cody just seems to be tactically taking Rock apart piece by piece. Cody sends Rock into the corner hard. Rock slammed hard into the corner causing him to fall down to the floor. Cody picks up the head of Rock and begins to talk down to the Rock. Trying to prove to him that Cody is the greatest wrestler in XWL today. He throws Rocks head down before beginning to strike down on the temple of Rock. The referee notices that Rock’s leg is under the bottom rope and tries to step in to break the hold.*

*Cody is forced by John Cone to step back, reluctantly. He does so with anger and isn’t afraid to vent out to the ref about how much of a bad job he’s doing here tonight. Rock is on one knee when Cody comes back towards him and as he picks him up Rock is able to counter be dropping back to one knee and hitting a jawbreaker, knocking Cody groggy and making him stumble a few paces back. Rock charges forward and hits a clothesline and both men are down. Rock goes to one knee whereas Cody is laid out on the mat. Rock begins to lay the smack down on Cody hitting a series of jabs to the face of Cody with his good arm. Using his bad arm only to pull the hair of Cody and expose the face. Cody is struggling and eventually is able to wriggle his way under the bottom rope. Rock is quickly up to his feet and drags Cody to the centre of the ring before locking in the sharpshooter once more! Cody is going to have to dig deep once more to try find a way out of this deadly submission hold!*

[Michael Cole]
You can do it Cody! Fight out of it!

[Jim Ross]
Sharpshooter centre of the ring! Cody has nowhere to go!

[Jerry Lawler]
It could all be over here JR!

*All of the XWL Universe members are up on their feet, the Rock has once again locked Cody into the sharpshooter! Cody somehow got out of this once before, but a lot has gone down in this match since then, and one has got to wonder how much longer he can hold out, how much more he can take before he finally gives up and submits. Just like the first time, the Rock uses his good arm to apply the pressure as the other arm is used to hold his legs in place. Rock continues to apply pressure, but Cody refuses to give up. He screams and slaps himself in the face a few times, telling himself not to quit, that he cannot quit. Cody pushes himself up with his arms and slowly begins to make the crawl to the ropes. Rock tries his best to keep him at bay, but thanks to his arm injury he no longer has the strength to hold him and Cody is able to make it to the ropes, forcing Rock to finally break the hold.*

[Michael Cole]
Once again, Cody fights out!

[Jim Ross]
Both of these men are showing tremendous resilience here, what an incredible contest.

[Jerry Lawler]
I’ll give the devil his due. Cody’s got guts, but he certainly doesn’t have a heart. If he does, it’s black.

*Rock begrudgingly lets go of the hold, and Cody pulls himself to the bottom rope, clutching onto it as he tries his best to recuperate. The Rock gets up and takes a little break, bending over and  catching his breath. He breathes heavily, showing signs of fatigue. Rock is determined to show he still has something left in the tank, and above all he wants to defend the honor of the people, the people Cody is hellbent on destroying. Rock walks over to Cody and lifts him up off the ground, pressing him against the ropes before launching him off. Rock bends down, looking to hit Cody with a back body drop, but Cody comes back and lands a swift kick to head. Rock shoots up before stumbling a bit, dropping down to a knee. Cody acts quickly and climbs up to the top, waiting for the Rock to stand up before turning himself around. Cody leaps off, connecting with the moonsault to a standing Rock!*

High risk, high reward for Cody!

*After the stunning moonsault from Cody, both competitors are down on the mat, struggling to get up to their feet. John Cone looks around, flustered, not too sure about what to do. He raises his arms and just when it seems like he’s about to start the ten count, Cody shows signs of life and sits up. Rock holds his head with his hands, it’s possible that Cody’s knee landed awkwardly on the Rock’s head there. He rolls around on the mat back and forth a bit while Cody gets back up on his feet. He falls back towards the rope, regroups, and lets out a little cackle. He notices the Rock is finally getting up as well, and he gets up behind him, before striking the Brahma Bull pose! The fans jeer as Cody stays there with a smirk on his face, mocking the Rock. Once Rock finally gets up, Cody goes in for the kill, hitting the Cross Rhodes again! He hooks the leg!*

[Jim Ross]
CROSS RHODES! DAMMIT, THIS KID IS GOING TO GET AWAY WITH THAT MOCKERY!

BY GOD! BY GOD! THE ROCK KICKED OUT! THE ROCK WILL NOT DIE!

*The fans explode after the Rock gets his shoulder up, and Cody sits up with his jaw hanging wide open. His expression soon changes as he turns around to look at the Rock, and a scowl comes across his face. His skin starts to bubble and his face turns red as he begins to crawl away from the Rock, plotting his next move. The Rock remains out on his back on the canvas, only being able to flip himself over on his stomach. He begins to crawls towards the ropes as Cody gets up, simply stalking his prey. Rock pulls himself up using the ropes, and Cody decides to make his next move. He charges and leaps off the ropes, looking for that lethal Disaster Kick, but the Rock sidesteps him at the last moment! Cody is able to land on his feet, only for the Rock to turn him around and grab him, planting him with the Rock Bottom! This place has gone nuts!*

ANOTHER kickout from Cody!

Oh man, what a match!

*Rock gets up, shocked at Cody’s kickout, but he decides to not waste time like Cody did. He immediately goes back to work, hopping onto his feet and putting the boots to Cody’s chest as he holds his bad arm. It appears that the Rock Bottom put too much stress on the injured arm.  Cody tries his best to block the offense with his arms, but it’s no use and Rock continues pounding away.  Rock’s boots become more rapid and he gets himself pumped, turning around to the crowd and beating on his chest. Taking his eye off the ball, however, allows Cody to get up and hit him with a chop block, dropping him down to a knee. Cody shoots for the top again, measuring his shot before taking the jump. He goes for the crossbody, but the Rock rolls through, comes back up and hits him with the Samoan Drop!*

[Jerry Lawler]
What strength! Even with that bad arm!

[Jim Ross]
Oh, I told you Rock wouldn’t give up.

[Michael Cole]
Come on, enough of this! He’ll have to, make him pay, Cody!

*Cody rolls around on the floor for a few seconds due to the impact of the hard landing. Rock is quickly able to use the momentum from the samoan drop to roll away from Cody and get up to his feet. Rock is in control now and slowly begins to pick apart Cody, picking up the left leg of Rhodes and beginning to drop a few hard stomps in the thigh, always making sure to hit the same point, time and time again. After a few hits Rock lands an elbow drop on the ankle of Cody before standing up and planting one more. Clearly wanting Cody to feel just a taste of the pain given to him in his arm. Cody tries to fight out kicking Rock in the face, making him stumble but Rock quickly drops down with an elbow drop causing Cody to give up and just let out a small scream in agony. The pace of the match has slowed down as it seems both men are fatigued and have had a lot out of them but they are still determined to give it one last shot.*

[Michael Cole]
One last push Cody! C’mon you’ve almost got it!

[Jim Ross]
Rock now, working away on the leg of Cody Rhodes, trying to weaken him and maybe try stop that vicious kick of Cody’s which we know can come anytime out of almost any situation.

*Cody is picked up like a ragdoll by Rock and thrown against the ropes. Rock trying to build one last surge of momentum. This time it is cut short by Cody as when the Rock dropped to the mat to let Cody run over, Cody stopped and dropped a vicious knee drop on the back of the head of Rock. Cody runs off another side of the ring and does the same, trying to give The Rock a concussion. Rock rolls around holding the back of his head as he tries to find a quick escape just for a few vital moments. Cody allows him no time as he tries to build some momentum for himself and flips him over before mounting him and delivering a series of well-placed shots to the head. Rock is unable to defend himself properly with his bad hand and Cody knows this. He puts his weight on Rocks good hand and allows Rock freely to be able to fight with his bad. Rock is able to land a few very soft strikes, not doing much to Cody but then suddenly he lands one hard punch, knocking Cody down. Cody is the first man to rise as he is in shock but doesn’t want to stop the attack and keeps the onslaught going, picking up Rock and throwing him into the corner. Rock plants into the corner as Cody charges forward and connects with a huge clothesline.*

[Jerry Lawler]
Huge clothesline there by Cody! Rock looks dazed from that one!

[Jim Ross]
Cody in control now, let’s see if he can take advantage.

*Rock drops down to one knee but Cody picks him back up and drags him to the centre of the ring. He picks Rock up and holds him for few seconds in the vertical suplex hold before spinning and showing signs of his older brother there once more with a version of the final cut slightly modified by Cody. Cody is in full swing of the match now as he begins to work away on Rock. Cody looks at the turnbuckle and heads to the top rope.  He looks around at the crowd who are all booing him and not showing any respect to him. He then looks at Rock, who is laid out on the mat. He shouts for him to get up. Demanding him to get up, stalking and watching from the top rope. He is crouched down for the time being while Rock pulls himself up using the ropes. Cody rises and is high above Rock now as Rock is slowly coming around to his senses. He takes a few steps himself into the centre of the ring before turning to find Cody who is one step ahead of him, Cody is in mid-air flying and connects with a beautiful dropkick to the chest of The Rock, knocking him to the floor.*

[Michael Cole]
YES! Get on him, Cody!

[Jim Ross]
I think the Rock is in grave danger here!

[Jerry Lawler]
Did you  guys see the force of that dropkick? It sent the Rock straight outta the ring!

*Cody gets up and cackles as he sees the Rock laying out on the floor. Cody crouches down and brushes the mat with his hand, waiting for the Rock to get back up. Rock pulls himself back up using the apron, and Cody goes for a baseball slide, but the Rock grabs him by the legs! The fans go wild as Cody pleads with Rock, only to get yanked out of the ring! Rock presses him up to the apron and starts firing off with a huge shots! The place is going nuts as the Rock continues to hammer away at Cody with the good arm, Cody left defenseless against the Rock’s onslaught! Cody tries to cover up, but it’s no use as Rock continues to pound away at his skull. The Rock grabs him by the hair next, tossing him head first straight into the ringpost! Cody bounces off and lands on the floor as Rock rolls in and out of the ring to break the count. He goes back out and grabs Cody, tossing him into the ring.*

[Jim Ross]
They’re back in the ring, and I think the Rock is finally looking to finish this!

*Cody struggles to get up to his feet in the center of the ring, he’s only able to push his upper body up with his arms. The Rock slides in behind him, with a solemn expression on his face. The Rock is determined as he stares Cody down, and he licks his lips as he stops, striking the Brahma Bull pose once again! Everybody in attendance gets up onto their feet, they all know what’s coming next! Cody finally gets up to his knees as Rock moves in behind him, shaking his leg in anticipation. Cody is finally up on his feet, and the Rock spins him around, hooking him in for the Rock Bottom! Rock stands there in the center of the ring, soaking in the crowd before he goes for it, only to be met with a knee to the gut! Cody acts quickly, going for the Beautiful Disaster again, only for the Rock to move again, and John Cone gets caught!*

[Jerry Lawler]
OH! NO!

[Jim Ross]
BY GOD! THE DISASTER KICK TO JOHN CONE! THAT KILLED HIM! WE NEED HELP!

[Michael Cole]
I think he’s out cold… WAY TO GO CODY!

*John Cone collapses and falls to the outside, and Cody laughs at his misfortunate. The fans jeer him, and he simply shrugs and says “oops.” He shakes his head and turns around, only to get creamed by a huge clothesline from the Rock! Rock drops down to a knee and grabs onto the middle rope, trying to keep himself up. it’s clear the clothesline exerted quite a bit of energy, but he forces himself back up and beats on his chest. He panders to the crowd again and raises his arms, trying to pump them up. They all cheer as Rock turns to Cody, waiting for him to get up. Cody gets up, staggers, and walks straight into a huge spinebuster! The fans are going wild again, because they all know what’s going to come next! Cody is laid out in the center of the ring, and Rock walks over his lifeless body. Rock shouts tells everyone the third time’s the charm and he sets up for the People’s Elbow. He waves his arms back and forth and hits the ropes. He hits the first one, comes back and jumps over Cody, but when he hits the second rope…


SUPERKICK!!!!!!!!!*

[Jim Ross]
WHO THE HELL?

[Jerry Lawler]
WAIT! JR! IS THAT WHO I THINK IT IS?

*The camera is zoomed up on the Rock’s lifeless body, and the crowd is in an absolute frenzy. As the shot zooms out, it all becomes clear. JOEY RYAN IS STANDING OVER THE ROCK! JOEY RYAN JUST SUPERKICKED THE ROCK! JOEY RYAN HAS LAID OUT THE ROCK!*

[Michael Cole]
YESSSSSS!

[Jerry Lawler]
WHAT? JOEY RYAN!

[Jim Ross]
DAMMIT! DAMMIT! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?

*Joey stands over the Rock with a smug look on his face, the jam packed crowd jeering him, but he doesn’t care. He rubs his chest a bit as Cody sits up and crawls back to the corner. He looks at Joey for a second, confused. Joey’s smirk disappears, and he looks Cody directly in the eyes. The two never look away as Cody begins to pull himself up, using the ropes. Cody marches over to Joey, getting right into his face. The two mouth words, and it looks like they are really starting to get into it. Cody pushes Joey back and points his finger at him, and Joey does the same thing. Both men clench their fists, but when it seems like they’re about to come to blows, they just laugh it off! Cody holds his ribs before Joey extends his hand, and the two shake!*

[Jerry Lawler]
What is going on?

[Jim Ross]
IT WAS  A DAMN SET UP, KING! THIS ENTIRE TIME!

[Michael Cole]
BRILLIANT! Joey told us he’d make an impact tonight!

*The two are busy laughing it up as the fans continue to heckle them, chanting “ASSHOLES!” at them. The new duo refuse to care as Joey grabs the Rock, lifting him up to his feet. Cody smirks and hits the rope, finally connecting with the Beautiful Disaster! The Rock collapses to the mat, and the duo laugh about it. Joey Ryan mocks the Rock and pretends to wipe tears from his eyes as Cody stares down at the Rock, shaking his head. Joey struts over the Rock’s body before picking him up again, only to drive him back down to the mat with the Pedigree! The Rock is defenseless as Cody motions towards the crowd and raises a finger, showing them all they have one move left to him. Cody yanks him up off the ground and drags him to the center of the ring, setting up for the Cross Rhodes, which connects!*

[Jim Ross]]
Cross Rhodes! This is sick! The Rock is helpless!

[Michael Cole]
Shut up, JR, this is great!

[Jerry Lawler]
But what is going on with this match now?



*As Cody and Joey stand over the Rock’s carcass, Joey’s theme begins to play over the PA System. The fans are throwing trash into the ring now, as this new alliance of sorts are standing over their hero, their “People’s Champion.” Cody and Joey share another look and laugh, before they head up to the top rope. They decide to mock the Rock again, both of them striking the “IF YA SMELL” pose! The fans continue to throw trash at them , but it’s almost like they are bathing in their hate, like they crave to have it.*

[Jim Ross]
I can’t believe my eyes! Look at this mockery. Makes me sick.

[Michael Cole]
I love this, personally. Joey and Cody have put the McMahons to shame!

[Jerry Lawler]
I don’t know what to say, what happens now?

*Cody and Joey remain on the top rope for a few moments, still mocking the Rock. Eventually they give up on that, but they do not get up. Joey rubs his chest a bit, and Cody just shrugs and smiles. Cody extends his arms and keeps the big old grin on his face before finally jumping off. Joey jumps off two and the two meet in the center of the ring, over the Rock’s body. They shake hands once more, before they raises their arms.*

[Michael Cole]
See that! That’s the future!

[Jim Ross]
Looks more like hell to me.

*Cody and Joey can’t help but laugh once again before they finally exit the ring. Staff members have come out and are now checking on the Rock, while referees and EMTS check on John Cone, who still hasn’t moved after taking the Beautiful Disaster. The fans continue to throw trash at Cody and Joey as the walk up the ramp, so a security team is finally forced to meet up with them and follow them up. They try their best to protect the two superstars, but it’s apparent they will need an army to protect these two. In just the one night they’ve been together, they have injured the Rock and perhaps ended the career of John Cone. The two stop at the top of the entrance stage, raising each other’s arms again to unanimous boos from the crowd. The two share a smirk before finally heading to the back, as the Monster Bash fades to our next segment. What happens next? Why are Cody Rhodes and Joey Ryan working together? What does this mean for XWL?*

*The cameras cut to the backstage area where a clearly intense Triple H is shown.  He begins to speak in a cold, heartless tone.*



[Triple H]
Tonight Shawn... it all ends.  One way or another you're done!  I will do whatever it takes to make sure you can never lace up a pair of wrestling boots again.

*The Game is talking with such fire and anger, almost as if he's blaming Shawn for forcing him to go through with this match.*



[Triple H]
You brought this on yourself Shawn!  If you didn't degrade yourself on a weekly basis I wouldn't have to do this.  I wouldn't have to cripple you, or maim you, to make sure that what you've become can no longer continue.  I won't let you tarnish your own career Shawn!  I won't let you ruin your legacy anymore!



[Triple H]
I made sure your family was here tonight so that they can help you get through the pain and suffering you're going to experience.  Out of the respect that I have for you, I brought them here so that when you regain consciousness, you can open your eyes and see the love in their faces.  They might be crying when you regain consciousness, but at least they'll be there to support you through the tough times and those first couple of hours as you finally come to terms with your new disabilities and the fact that you will never wrestle again.



[Triple H]
I might seem like the bad guy Shawn.  But I'm your best friend.  No, you're more than my best friend.  I consider you to be like a brother to me.  So it's my responsibility to do the right thing and end your career and save you any further embarrassment before you're only remembered for being a comedy act.  It might not seem like it now, but I'm doing you a favour.  You were truly one of the best Shawn.  But I still am one of the best.  You'll finally realize that tonight.

*HHH glares into the camera for a few moment before uttering his final words...*



[Triple H]
...it's game over, Shawn.

*Triple H's last words are said with such a strong intensity that you would be a fool to bet against him not backing up his words.  He stares long and hard into the camera before it fades to black for the next segment of XWL The Monster Bash.*

*As AJ's theme hits and she is announced the winner, despite the official's best efforts she refuses to let go of the devastating Black Widow hold.  Paige screams out in agony as she falls to the mat, AJ firmly attached.  AJ is like something possessed as she wrenches away at Paige's arm.*

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
This is bad.  AJ has Paige right where she wants her.

[Michael Cole]
She's fulfilling her promise to make Paige the first Diva to be taken out!  Can't you see that?

[Jim Ross]
Whatever it is, this needs to stop.  Paige is a lovely young woman with one of the brightest futures ahead of her.  AJ has made her point.

[Michael Cole]
I'm sure AJ would disagree with you JR!

*As Paige continues to scream - not in her usual trademark way, but in complete and utter pain - AJ continues to apply the pressure.  She is relentless in her mission to hurt Paige as The Black Widow continues to cause unthinkable damage.  Suddenly Paige's arm turns in a very awkward way and AJ realising she has accomplished her goal, finally releases the hold.  The noise coming from Paige is very discomforting as she rolls around clutching her arm while in unimaginable pain.*

[Jerry "The King" Lawler]
I... I think she broke her arm...

*Paige with tears running down her face wails "My arm!  My arm!  Get some help!" as AJ gets to her feet and admires her handiwork with a sinister smile.  She begins skipping around the wounded Paige as once again her music plays.*



[Jim Ross]
That is one sick young lady right there...

*As EMTs rush the ring to tend to Paige, AJ continues skipping in circles around them too.  She also appears to be laughing to herself, knowing full well she has accomplished what she set out to do here tonight.  The skipping continues as The Monster Bash fades away to a promotional video for tonight's main event between Alberto Del Rio and Christian for the World Heavyweight Championship.*

[JR]
Well folks, we are just moments away from the Unsanctioned match-up between Shawn Michaels and Triple H.  Two best friends who are now the worst of enemies.  There will be no love lost between these two, let me tell you.

And there we see The Game, Triple H.  I haven't seen Triple H be as ruthless as he has been over the past couple of weeks in a very long time.  The Cerebral Assassin is a dangerous, dangerous man and when he has his mind set on something you'd better not stand in his way.

[Jerry Lawler]
And unfortunately for Shawn he has his mind set on taking him out here tonight.  We've seen Triple H put several XWL superstars on the shelf over the past month or so and he wants to add Shawn Michaels to that list.

[Michael Cole]
Triple H says it's all about doing what's best for Shawn, about ending his career before he embarrasses himself any further.  The fans and Shawn seem to disagree that it's time for The Heartbreak Kid to hang it up, but I guess we'll find out exactly what Michaels is still capable of here tonight.  He needs to be at his best to stand a chance against a premiere athlete The Game.



[JR]
And there he is!  Shawn Michaels!  What has to be running through that man's head right now?  Not only has his best friend turned his back on him, but he's vowed to cripple him here tonight.  Not only that, but his family will be in the front row to witness what will either be one of his greatest victories or the execution of what has been a sparkling career.

[Jerry Lawler]
Is he praying?  

[JR]
It's no secret that Michaels is a religious man King.  Although I have to admit, if I was in his shoes right now, I'd be asking for all the help I can get from the man upstairs.

[Michael Cole]
This one is going to be as brutal and as violent as they come ladies and gentlemen but it has all the ingredients to be a classic.  Will it truly be game over for Shawn Michaels, or will the Heartbreak Kid overcome all the odds and all the heartbreak and prove that he still has it?  Don't go away because this match, is next.

The show then cuts to a video package, hyping up the upcoming match-up.



Following the hype video a shot of the arena is shown with all the fans on their feet in anticipation of the upcoming contest.  The crowd is electric.

The crowd goes into a frenzy.

Both Triple H and Shawn Michaels have signed a contract relieving XWL of any responsibility or liability for what happens in this match-up.  Therefore, there are no rules.  Anything goes and the only way to win this match-up is by pinfall, or submission!

With that, the theme of The Heartbreak Kid hits to a standing ovation.

Introducing first, from San Antonio, Texas... weighing in at 225 lbs... The Heartbreak Kid... SHAWN MICHAELS!



[JR]
There he is folks!  The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels!  One of the true greats of this industry and a wrestling icon!

[Jerry Lawler]
He sure looks fired up for this one JR.  I just hope he knows what's in store for him.  If Triple H's actions over the past month are anything to go by...  I fear the worst.

[Michael Cole]
The Game has vowed to end Michaels' career here tonight.  I wouldn't count Michaels out, but whatever happens, he will go down in history as one of the very best.

Michaels kneels on the entrance ramp and throws his arms up to the sky as a beautiful flash of pyro explodes behind him.



Michaels continues his descent down the entrance ramp under a wave of cheers.

This one is not about titles folks.  This one is personal.  Two best friends who have become the very worst of enemies.

[Jerry Lawler]
And it's Unsanctioned which means they can do whatever they want to each other!  There's no medical insurance provided by XWL for this one... no rules... no limits...

[Michael Cole]
It really is going to be hard to watch King.

Michaels rounds the ring to see his family who are sat front row, courtesy of Triple H.  He kisses his wife Rebecca and hugs both his children before entering the ring to prepare for the war ahead of him.  Despite the immense emotion and pressure on Shawn in this match, he still manages to bust out a little dance as he removes his trademark entrance gear.



[JR]
For those of you not up to speed, Triple H has purchased front row tickets for the family of Shawn Michaels so that they can witness his demise first-hand.  It's a callous and sick move on the part of The Game to subject Shawn's innocent wife and children to the barbaric match we are no doubt about to witness.  If he does succeed in crippling Shawn, just imagine the psychological scars those children will bare as they grow up.

[Jerry Lawler]
Well, Shawn doesn't look too concerned JR.

[Michael Cole]
But he should be King.  Triple H is hell-bent on claiming the scalp of Michaels here tonight.  He said he'll do whatever it takes to end his career and within this match-type he has free reign to do just that.

Shawn, now ready for battle turns his attention to the top of the stage as he awaits his nemesis...



As Triple H's music begins to play, a deafening roar of hatred from the XWL Universe is directed at the stage.  The ominous silhouette of The Game appears and looks as sinister as ever in the adjusted lighting.

And introducing his opponent... from Greenwich, Connecticut... weighing in at 255 lbs... The Game... TRIPLE H!

His eyes firmly locked on his former best friend, Triple H begins his slow walk down the entrance way.

If looks could kill, I'm pretty sure Shawn Michaels would be six-feet-under right now.



[JR]
That is a dangerous and sick individual ladies and gentlemen.  We've seen the career of Mick Foley ended earlier this month in devastating fashion at the hands of that man.  The Game is as ruthless as they come and I would hate to be in his sights on any occasion.  The fact that there's so much history and so much hatred between these two men, can't do anything but make the situation a whole lot worse for Michaels.  I have a feeling we have yet to see what Triple H is truly capable of, even with his sickening actions as of late.



The Game mounts the apron and performs his signature water-spitting entrance.  A cold gaze passes over the family of HBK in front row, before he climbs through the ring ropes.  The lighting returns to normal and both men lock eyes.

The bell sounds around the arena signaling the start of the Unsanctioned Match. Triple H and Shawn Michaels just stare at each other from across opposite sides of the ring.  The camera focuses first on the expression of The Game...



Then of The Heartbreak Kid...



[JR]
Here we go! This match is underway. It's going to be a brutal contest.

[Jerry Lawler]
It certainly is JR, definitely not for the weak of heart! Just look at the way these two men are staring at each other!

The crowd are all on their feet, anticipating the brawl thats going to happen. Triple H and Shawn Michaels both step to middle of the ring, and go face to face. Both men just stare each other down.  You could cut the tension with a knife as both men exchange some final fierce words which go unheard...



Triple H makes the first move with a right hand to HBK and IT'S ON! Michaels staggers but fires back with a right hand of his own!  Both men lock up in the middle of the ring.



Triple H clearly has the strength advantage and begins to back Michaels into the corner, but Shawn uses his technical abilities to sweep The Game down onto the canvas then starts laying shots to the head of Triple H, Triple H starts to cover up as The Showstopper gets to his feet and is clearly fired up!

[JR]
Look at Michaels! We haven't seen him like this in years!

HBK thinks he's in control and walks towards HHH who has regained his footing, but he walks straight into a knee to the gut, taking Shawn down to his knees. Triple H grabs hold of HBK by the hair and delivers vicious punches to the head of HBK sending him down to the canvas. The crowd shows their displeasure for HHH's actions but this doesn't faze The Cerebral Assassin one bit. Triple H drags HBK to his feet and irish whips him with huge force into the turnbuckle, HBK crashes into it back first then falls down to the canvas with a sickening thud. Triple H wastes little time and continues the assault.  He drags his adversary to his feet and can be heard shouting "It ends tonight, Shawn". He goes to Irish whip him into the other turnbuckle but HBK reverses, HHH crashes into the opposite turnbuckle, bouncing off it and staggers back towards HBK who delivers a back body drop. Triple quickly gets back to his feet but HBK begins to chop him back into the corner but Triple H fights back with some chops of his own.

[JR]
This is an outright brawl!

HHH gets the better of HBK and lands a big right hand, staggering the Heartbreak Kid back into the opposite corner, HHH looks to continue the assault and walks forward towards Shawn...SWEET CHIN MUSIC! Shawn Michaels catches Triple H with the Sweet Chin Music out of nowhere!

[Michael Cole]
Sweet Chin Music from out of nowhere!  He almost took his head off!  This one could be over early!

KICKOUT! Triple H keeps fighting and kicks out of the Sweet Chin Music. It's almost as if Michaels expected the kickout, as he's straight back to his feet, and goes to drag HHH back he's caught with a low blow! Shawn falls to his knees just as HHH gets back his feet, Hunter exits the ring and grabs a steel chair from ringside! He throws it into the ring.

[Jerry Lawler]
Oh no! What's he got planned?


Triple H enters the ring and picks up the chair, just as HBK begins to drag himself to his feet he approaches him and swings the chair and blasts him across the head with it! The sickening shot is heard all across the arena as HBK immediately falls to the mat in a heap.




[JR]
That sound was sickening!  It was like a gunshot going off in here!


Triple H shows no remorse, as he looks down at his former best friend. HBK lays out on the mat with blood pouring from his skull as The Game is on his knees, clearly also in pain and unable to make the cover. Shawn uses the ropes to drag himself to his feet but soon as he gets to his feet HHH once again delivers a vicious chair shot to the skull of HBK, HBK crashes to the mat. Triple H throws the chair down and covers the bloodied Shawn Michaels.

This has gotta be it....


KICK OUT!

[JR]
No! Somehow Shawn kicked out! He looks out of it but he still managed to kick out!

Triple H looks surprised that Shawn Michaels managed to kick out after the two sickening chair shots. He stands over Shawn Michaels shouting "Stay down, Shawn!"



But Shawn Michaels responds with delivering a up kick to the groin of HHH! HHH Falls to the mat clutching his groin area in agony as the fans jump up in cheer for HBK beginning to fight back! Shawn Michaels feels the energy as he kips up to his feet! Despite the blood covering his face, Michaels jumps to his feet and begins to look fired up as ever. He notices the chair on the mat and looks down at the chair, the crowd cheer in approval just as Shawn picks up the chair. He stands behind Hunter who is now staggering to his feet.....




A SICKENING CHAIR SHOT! HBK drives the chair onto the skull of Triple H. Triple H falls straight back down the canvas.


[JR]
My God! These two men will stop at nothing.


Michaels throws down the chair to the mat and looks down at his former best friend, he backs off into the corner and starts to tune up the band.....



HHH staggers to his feet..... SWEET CHI... NO! Hunter ducks the sweet chin music attempt and spins HBK around.....PEDIGREE!



[Michael Cole]
Pedigree! He ducked the Sweet Chin Music and hit the Pedigree!

[Jerry Lawler]
But does he have what it takes to make the cover!

Both men are laid out on the mat, Triple H managed to hit the Pedigree but the brutal match has already zapped the energy from both men, Triple H manages to reach over and cover HBK...

No! Michaels has some fight left him!


[JR]
The ShowStopper showing some fight!  Bah gawd I thought it was over!

The Game has a look of shock across his face, he can't believe the man who he said has "lost it" kicked out of his pedigree. Michaels lays on the canvas trying to get to his feet as HHH takes a moment to sit on the mat just staring at Shawn Michaels as he begins to use the ropes to get to his feet. Triple H's expression changes from shock to anger as he see's HBK on his feet, Triple H gets to his feet and runs at Shawn Michael's who's using the ropes to hold himself up, Triple H attempts a clothesline but HBK ducks! He back body drops Hunter out of the ring! The Game goes crashing to the padding on the outside. Michaels holds onto the ropes and looks down on Triple H and waits... The moment Triple H gets to his feet HBK slingshots with a cross body outside the ring! He lands on Triple H taking him down. HBK with a little help from the apron gets to his feet, the crowd are going nuts for The Heartbreak Kid!



[Michael Cole]
They're a little too close for comfort here...

As Shawn reaches his feet, again HHH knocks him right back down after lunging forward with a low blow.  The King Of Kings shows his resilience to quickly regain his footing and turns his attention to the announce table, removing the covers.



[Jerry Lawler]
This can't be good.

The Game returns to his downed prey and brings him to his feet, slamming his face into the announce table.  "Just die Shawn!  It's over!" is screamed into the crimson mask of The Heartbreak Kid as his face is once again smashed into the hard table.  The noise of the crowd grows as Shawn is laid on the table, followed by HHH climbing onto it.

[JR]
This is going to be ugly...

HHH brings the dead weight of HBK to his feet, he puts his head between his legs and hooks both his arms looking for the Pedigree once again... but wait!  Shawn somehow wriggles free and pokes him in the eyes!  He also lands a big hard chop.



The dazed Triple H can't defend himself as Shawn picks him up and drives him head first into the table, exploding it with a devastating piledriver!

[JR]
BAH GAWD!  BAH GAWD!  HE KILLED HIM!  HE KILLED HIM!  TRIPLE H'S NECK MUST BE BROKEN!  IT MUST BE!

A very loud "Holy shit!" chant can be heard as both Michaels and HHH are down and out of it.  Triple H could well be unconscious and Michaels is clearly fatigued and still losing blood fast which can't be helping his cause.

[Jerry Lawler]
That was brutal.  This one could be stopped right here.  Oh wait!  Shawn's getting to his feet!

Somehow someway, Shawn Michaels gets back to his feet.  He knows he could be close to victory after such a devastating move.  He picks up his former friend with great difficulty and effort and spurred on by the cheers of the fans, he throws him inside the ring.  Shawn struggles into the ring, and flops over The Game for the cover...

No! Triple H at the very last moment kicks out!

[Michael Cole]
And it's still not over!  I can't believe this!  What will it take!  What will these two men have to do to put the other away!

Shawn remains on the canvas face down, lacking all energy as his enemy begins to stir.  Triple H uses the ropes to help himself up and notices that Shawn could be out of it.  He mounts him and begins landing big right hands in what appears to be an endless onslaught.



After what must have been around 50 or so very hard shots, The Game relents and stands.  Shawn's eyes are glazed over.



[Jerry Lawler]
I think Shawn might be done...  that was sickening.  His face was pounded into mush!

HHH turns his attention to the steel chair once again.  He places it in position for something and again grabs his former friend.  He hooks both his arms, standing over the chair.  There is nothing Shawn can do to defend himself from this given how he's probably in another dimension at this point... PEDIGREE ONTO THE CHAIR!



COVER!

SHAWN KICKS OUT AGAIN!  THE HEARTBREAK KID LIVES ON!

Triple H is incensed and pounds the mat in frustration.  He gets right in the face of the match official, screaming "That was three!" before delivering a big right hand to the referee!  The ref is out! With Triple H's focus set on the referee, he didn't realise that Shawn Michaels climbed to his feet and picked up the steel chair, HHH turns around into a sickening chair shot! Triple H falls down to the mat hitting face first. Michaels then drops the chair to the canvas and drags Hunter to his feet....DDT on the chair! Triple H clashes with the chair head first! Blood can be seen pouring from a wound on the forehead of Triple H! Both men lay motionless on the canvas but HBK manages to stretch across laying a hand across the chest of The Game.


[Jerry Lawler]
Shawn has the cover but there's no Ref!


The crowd can be heard counting the pin fall and get to 5, making it clear Shawn Michaels could've had this won, but Michaels not knowing where he is doesn't realize there's no Ref' and keeps his hand across the chest of Triple H.

[JR]
We need a ref out here damnit, hurry!

All eyes are on the stage now as the fans anxiously await a referee to come sprinting down but..



[Jerry Lawler]
Is that?..

[Michael Cole]
IT'S BRAD MADDOX!

[JR]
He's not a referee for god sakes!

The fans begin to furiously boo Brad as he covers his face with his hands mockingly.



[JR]
Hurry up!!!



The camera pans back from Brad walking down slowly to HBK and HHH, still both lifeless in the ring as Shawn has had Triple H covered for what feels like an eternity. Brad walks up the ramp and pauses.



[Jerry Lawler]
What are you waiting for? Get in there!

Brad pauses as he shakes his head and puts up his hand telling the crowd to wait, he motions for someone to come out as his overweight cameraman Carson comes running down the ramp. He gets Carson to stand and record at ringside before getting into the ring. He slides over to HBK and counts the pin finally!

Kickout!!

[JR]
Oh this is just unfair, if he came down earlier when he was supposed to instead of taking his sweet time this match would've been over a long time ago! This is an outrage!

[Michael Cole]
Hey, if this is a screwjob maybe Shawn Michaels can be the one leaving the company this time!

An exhausted and bloody HBK gets up to his knees and looks at Maddox confused at what took him so long. Maddox just ignores him in the corner.



Triple H gets back up to his feet now and turns him around and kicks him in the gut looking for a pedigree again but HBK flips him over when his arms are hooked. Both men begin trading blows back and forth as Maddox calmly rolls out of the ring and walks over to the timekeepers table not paying attention to the match. He picks up a microphone and begins to talk.

[Brad Maddox]
Greetings, XWL fans.. My name.. is Brad Maddox.

He lowers the microphone and lets out a smile as the fans furiously boo him, Shawn and Hunter are still fighting away in the ring as Triple H viciously chop blocks HBK in the leg and lifts it up before elbow dropping him right in the knee over and over. Maddox climbs onto the apron.

[Brad Maddox]
I'm sure you all know me by now, commentator, professional wrestler, part time referee! And all around handsome guy. You may all be wondering what I'm doing out here right now and it's actually very simple.

Maddox gets into the ring with the mic in hand, Triple H stops attacking Shawn and looks over at him as blood drips down his forehead.



[Brad Maddox]
One month ago, this THUG in front of me attacked me with a Sledgehammer for no reason. I had to spend weeks in hospital due to a concussion from taking a hammer to the back of the head! I can't believe that this company let this man walk free after that, and that's why tonight I'm going to settle the score by-

Triple H lunges at Maddox who ducks him, Maddox instantly backs up putting his hands up in fear not knowing that Triple H was going to go for him.

[Brad Maddox]
WHOA! Calm the heck down alright?! You're the one who brought this on yourself, H, why don't you just-

Maddox doesn't notice Shawn pulling himself up to his feet from behind him. He taps Maddox on the shoulder and once he turns around Shawn cracks him right in the jaw with a Sweet Chin Music!

[JR]
SWEET CHIN MUSIC! THAT'S WHAT THE WEASEL DESERVED!

Maddox is out cold on his feet as he turns around about to collapse but Triple H catches him and gets him into position for a Pedigree as he hooks his arms and drills him with it to a huge pop from the crowd! Triple H gets back to his feet and stares off with Shawn but suddenly they're interrupted as Carson rolls (literally) into the ring and starts to film an unconscious Maddox trying to get a good shot. He looks up and notices Triple H who raises his fist making Carson turn around in fear only to walk into a Sweet Chin Music!! And just like last time Triple H catches him and hooks his arms and drops him with a Pedigree a second time as the fans cheer yet again.

[Michael Cole]
An unlikely alliance in a match like this!

Two more referees come down the ramp now as one rolls Carson and Maddox out of the ring as the other gets in to the ring and tells Triple H and Shawn to continue the action.  The two warriors circle the ring before...



SWEET CHIN MUSIC!

Shawn falls, the last of his energy expended onto the downed Cerebral Assassin.  The new referee begins to count.

KICKOUT AGAIN!  

[JR]
BAH GAWD! What will it take?  Are both these men human?



Both Shawn and Hunter are now dead weight, lying on the canvas, blood pouring from both of them, both clearly too fatigued to stand.  The crowd acknowledges their efforts with a "This is awesome!" chant.

[Jerry Lawler]
I have to agree with these fans.  This is awesome.  Even if Brad Maddox was just out here...

It seems like an eternity, but slowly both men begin to stir.  Using the ropes to help themselves to their feet.  They each lean on opposite sides, taking in the fans' appreciation.  They share a look, before Triple H steps toward his former friend.

[Triple H]
You've still got it.

Triple H's words are picked up by some of the fans in the front row who pop in a big way at his statement.  The Game steps toward a cautious Heartbreak Kid and embraces him, in a sweaty, bloody hug.

[JR]
Can you believe this?  What are we witnessing?  What a turn of events!

[Jerry Lawler]
These guys have literally been killing each other for over 40 minutes now.  I guess this is why this professional wrestling is so very different to anything else out there.

The fans are in a frenzy, showering the ring with appreciation and praise for both competitors as their hug continues.  Many lock their arms in the signature DX pose. Both of these men put each other through hell but their friendship shows to be stronger than anything they threw at each other all night, the respect is there for all to see. The fight of both men to keep going shows how much this business means to each of them. The hug continues as the crowd are still all on their feet, Shawn Michaels' wife Rebecca has now jumped the barricade and entered the ring, clearly emotional by the scenes in the ring, she enters the ring. Shawn Michaels and Triple H break their hug and Shawn Michaels hugs his wife. A chant of "DX! DX! DX!" is getting loud and louder as it echos around the arena, Triple H and Shawn Michaels share a look before Triple H raises his hands in the air with the DX cross, Shawn Michaels looks around the arena and sees each and every fan copying Hunter, the Heartbreak kid responds by also raising his hands in the DX pose... Before Triple H and Shawn Michaels touch hands in vintage DX Style!


[Jerry Lawler]
I think we all know what this means...

[Michael Cole]
I just... I'm speechless!

[JR]
I guess a friendship like Shawn Michaels and Triple H have is a rare thing.  And this business is like no other, just like you said King.  Where else can you see such insane, violent action quickly turn into the reuniting of two best friends?  This was a slobber knocker of a match but the true winners here could turn out to be the XWL fans if what we are seeing is any indication of what's to come from these two amazing athletes.

Both HHH and HBK begin to exit together, holding each other up as they leave up the ramp under the fans' love.  The DX chants are crazy loud as they both turn on the entrance ramp and perform the signature DX chops in sync, as the fans chant "Suck it!".  The screen slowly fades to black to a hype video of the upcoming Divas Elimination Chamber match.

*We once again shift to the backstage area where a visibly confident Chris Jericho is shown.*



*As the camera pans outward, Josh Mathews is shown alongside him with a mic in hand.*



[Josh Mathews]
Chris Jericho, tonight you face off against Daniel Bryan in an Ultimate Submission match.  Now, for the first time in a long time, it seems like many are calling you the underdog heading into this match-up seeing how Daniel Bryan is clearly the superior submission specialist...



[Chris Jericho]
I'm the underdog?  And Daniel Bryan is superior to me?  That's why people are stupid Josh.  Did you watch my last match week?  I defeated the World Heavyweight Champion Christian, with ease.  That's why I'm the best in the world at what I do.  That's why Christian stealing my World title was a fluke.  And that's why tonight, Daniel Bryan is going to tap out over and over again.



[Chris Jericho]
I fail to see how I'm the underdog when I have dominated everyone put in front of me this entire year.  Tonight will be no different.  I'm not afraid of Daniel Bryan and his submission holds because I know just as many if not more than he does.  There's no comparison between myself and Daniel Bryan.  I've said it before and I'll say it again... Daniel Bryan will never amount to anything in this business.  Tonight just gives me the opportunity to embarrass and humiliate Bryan before he fades away into obscurity once again.



[Chris Jericho]
And after I leave him in that ring, in unimaginable pain after breaking the majority of the bones in his body... then it'll be obvious to everyone who is superior Josh.

*Jericho walks away and the camera focuses on Mathews watching him leave before the screen fades to black.*

[Jim Ross] Ladies and Gentlemen, up next is a match I've been looking forward to all night. Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan have been at eachothers throats for weeks now. Ever since the night after Eye for an Eye where these two men had a heated verbal confrontation, things have just gotten more intense as the weeks went by.

[Michael Cole] Never have I seen a rivalry like this one, in all of my days in XWL I've never seen such a focus on Submission wrestling. Chris Jericho has made Daniel Bryan tap, Daniel Bryan has made Chris Jericho tap, it's crazy!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Both men will finally settle the score, can Chris Jericho really match up  to the submission style of Daniel Bryan? Now it's crunch time for Jericho and Daniel. 30 minutes of hellacious action and only one winner, I can't wait!



*The fans pop loudly as the fan favourite Daniel Bryan is out first.*



*He walks onto the stage looking as pumped as ever in what is hands down the biggest match of his career, he throws his arms up in the air and at the top of his lungs shouts "YES!!!" and he begins to run sideways down the ramp as the fans chant it over and over. He pauses at the end of the ramp.*



[Jim Ross] You've got to admire the heart and passion of Daniel Bryan, he's a true student of the game and he has an unbelievable repertoire of moves that he can unleash at any angle and you know he's ready for a fight tonight.

[Michael Cole] Daniel Bryan said himself that this is going to simply be 30 minutes of pain, but the question is who is going to be the one dishing it out and who's going to be the one taking it?



*He scales the turnbuckle and confidently raises his arms in the air again as the camera pans out to show the whole crowd doing the Yes chants along with Daniel making it deafening. He jumps down and takes off his T-Shirt throwing it into the crowd as he waits for the arrival of his enemy. The lights in the arena go off as you can see the figure of Chris Jericho's jacket as he does his signature pose on the stage leading to a spectacle of pyro as his theme song blares.*



*The upbeat feeling in the crowd changes as Jericho stands on the stage with a glare.*



*The camera pans back to Daniel who hasn't taken his eyes off of Jericho yet. Jericho walks down the ramp at a slow pace with a confident smirk barely even acknowledging his opponent.*



[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Whether you love him or hate him, you can't deny how good Chris Jericho is. Multiple time World Champion, he's won pretty much every match time imaginable and he's only been pinned once in 2013!

[Jim Ross] He may have only been pinned once so far, but in this match he could very well tap out more than once. We're in for an exciting match up folks, this is not one you want to miss.

*Jericho calmly gets into the ring and walks to the ropes as he tilts his head looking out to the crowd and then over at Daniel Bryan who still hasn't taken his eyes off of Jericho.*



*He moves over to his corner and removes his jacket and hands it away at ringside, both men stand in their own corners as Justin Roberts does the introductions.*

[Justin Roberts] Ladies and Gentlemen, the following is an Ultimate Submission match! That means the man who has the most wins via submission in the thirty minute time limit will be declared the winner. Introducing first, from Aberdeen Washington.. weighing in at 210 pounds... Daniel Bryan!!

*Daniel raises his arms in the air and shouts "YES!!" as he's introduced making the fans chant it again knowing how much it gets under Chris Jericho's skin.*

[Justin Roberts] And the opponent.. from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.. weighing in at 225 pounds.. Chris Jericho!!

*Jericho simply walks to the center of the ring and raises his arm in the air with a cocky smirk, he makes his way back to the corner as Justin Roberts exits and the bell is rung and the timer is shown on the titantron.*

Daniel Bryan - 0



Daniel and Jericho size eachother up, Daniel offers his hands for a test of strength. They lock hands as they struggle back and forth trying to gain control, Daniel looks as if he has the advantage as he's about to get Jericho down onto his knees but Jericho ducks forward with a headbutt to the stomach of Daniel. This breaks the test of strength as Jericho pushes Daniel to the corner and slaps him in the head showing disrespect as always. They're off to a furious start as Daniel replies with a vicious uppercut sending Jericho back, they forcefully lock up now. Daniel switches into a hammerlock when he gains control but Jericho ducks out of it and catches him with a big back suplex. Jericho starts to work the arm putting pressure on it trying to get some damage done early in the match, Jericho glances up at the clock on the titantron and then focuses on his hold.



[Jim Ross] You can see Chris Jericho taking a quick look at the timer on the screen, that is crucial to his pacing of the match. You can't lose track of time or the match will wind up in shambles for you.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] I know first hand that if you get a rough hit to the head you can lose track of everything, including time! So that's why they need to stay on top of the action.

Daniel manages to get flat on his back and then uses Jericho to help him kip up to his feet but once he gets up to his feet Jericho grabs him by the hair and pulls him back down. Daniel now uses his legs as he kicks backwards hitting Jericho in the head forcing him to break it. Once Daniel is about to get up Jericho latches onto him with a camel clutch trying to tire him out again but once he tries to lock it in Daniel slips back and pulls his legs causing him to land face first. Jericho holds his head and gets up to his knees as Daniel runs past him and then runs back and kicks him full force in the chest. Daniel pulls Jericho to the ropes as he places his right leg on the bottom rope, he uses the rope as he jumps on it and lands hard on Jericho's leg. He does it three times in a row before hooking the legs and performing an Indian Death Lock!

Jericho yells in pain but he's close enough to the ropes to grab it early on, the referee counts to four until Daniel lets go of the hold and gets up and says to the referee "I have till' five." Daniel turns around onto to walk into a hard chop from Jericho, Daniel replies with a stiff forearm to the temple. Jericho then does another chop but when Daniel goes for another forearm Jericho grabs his arm and hooks them both before lifting him and dropping him onto his knee with a backbreaker. Daniel holds onto his back now which is Jericho's main focus for the Walls. He kicks Daniel over and over right in the spine before Daniel gets back to his feet. Jericho tries to slap Daniel but he catches it! He holds Jericho's arm and then kicks him in the thigh repeatedly knotting it up and once Jericho is focused on protecting his thigh then Daniel grabs his arm to switch things up.



[Jerry "The King" Lawler] I've seen this one before, Daniel shows no mercy when it comes to wearing out the limbs!

[Jim Ross] We can't forget that doing damage to Chris Jericho's arms will also weaken him when he attempts the Walls of Jericho too.

[Michael Cole] I think you're not giving Chris enough credit, he's been through far worse than a couple hits on the arms. He'll be just fine, once he gets the Walls locked in he's not letting go!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] And the same can be said for Daniel Bryan, Cole!

He holds his arm in place before lifting it up and driving it onto his shoulder hyper extending the elbow, he does it a second time as Jericho starts to claw at Daniel's eyes to try and stop it. Daniel manages to do it a third time before pulling Jericho to the ground by the arm. He fixes Jericho's arm in place so his arm is backwards with his palm flat on the mat and then jumps and stomps hard on his elbow causing Jericho to roll around in pain. Daniel walks over to Jericho trying to capitalize on his hurt opponent but out of nowhere Jericho leaps up and grabs Daniel by the beard pulling him forward and face first into the turnbuckle. Jericho pounds on Daniel's back with forearms softening him up for the Walls yet again. He pulls Daniel back with a sleeper hold but Daniel quickly gets out of it by running backwards and pushing Jericho forward using the ropes. Daniel leapfrogs over Jericho and then waits for Jericho to come back before side stepping and pushing him out of the ring.

[Michael Cole] Uh oh, over goes Jericho, I think we know what's going to happen next.

Jericho lands hard outside as Daniel inside the ring balls up his fists nodding his head as the fans cheer him on. He runs across the ring at full force looking for a suicide dive but right as he's about to dive through the ropes Jericho jumps up and catches him with a big forearm to the head! Daniel is knocked silly as the upper half of his body hangs loosely through the ropes. Jericho walks up the steps and pulls Daniel out onto the apron, both men are standing on the apron now in a risky position. Jericho forearms Daniel in the head and Daniel replies with a rapid kick to the chest. They repeat this until Jericho rakes Daniel in the eyes and then picks him up for a backbreaker but jumps off the apron causing Daniel to land spine first on the corner of the ring apron! The fans let out a big "Ohhh!" as Daniel lands on the hardest part of the ring. Jericho rolls back into the ring proud of his work. He waits for Daniel to get back up to his feet and then springboards up for his signature apron dropkick but Daniel ducks!



[Jerry "The King" Lawler] What a reversal by Daniel, I think we're going to see it this time Cole!

Jericho lands hard outside with his shoulder taking most of the damage against the barricade. Daniel rolls into the ring holding his back in pain but he feeds off the electricity of the crowd as he runs across the ring at full speed again and dives through the ropes for the suicide dive again!



[Jim Ross] What a leap of faith through the ropes that connected this time! Daniel showing his heart tonight, he's showing that he can hang with the best of them by god!

[Michael Cole] The real question is can he hang with the best the longer the match goes on?

And he hits it this time! Jericho is wiped out completely as he falls back with such force that he lands in the front row, Daniel climbs on top of the barrier and throws his arms in the air as the Yes chants take over the arena. Daniel takes too long though, Jericho quickly recovers and sweeps Daniel's leg causing him to land ribs first on the barricade. He gets back into the ring rolling Daniel in with him. He waits for him to get up and then viciously bulldogs him to the mat. He makes sure Daniel's in place and then runs and springboards off the ropes for a Lionsault but Daniel gets his knees up! But the veteran Jericho saw it coming as he latches onto Daniel's legs and quickly turns him over with the Walls of Jericho! Daniel has nowhere to go in the center of the ring and he's forced to tap which causes the crowd to boo loudly.

[Michael Cole] He taps out! Daniel taps! Chris Jericho with a steady lead with 18 minutes left on the clock.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] If Jericho really wanted to, he could just play defense for the rest of the match!

Jericho refuses to let go of the hold until the four count then throws him back down. The referee gives Daniel a few seconds to recover but once he gets to his feet Jericho pushes him to the corner. He chops him hard but Daniel has none of it as he throws Jericho to the corner and chops him even harder, he sets him on the top rope and climbs up for a top rope frankensteiner. But Jericho slips between Daniel's legs and grabs his legs and drills him down with a huge powerbomb! Daniel looks to be out of it as Jericho's not done, he picks up Daniel again in position for a second powerbomb but once he pulls him up into the seated position Daniel gets out of it and latches forward with a Guillotine!! Jericho is in shock as Daniel brings him to the mat and rolls him away from the ropes, he wraps his legs around Jericho's torso now for more pressure. It's either tap out or pass out for Jericho and he taps!

[Jim Ross] Outstanding counter by Daniel, he evens it up for himself and shows he has a lot of fight in him!

Daniel lets go of the hold as he smirks knowing that he's even with Jericho now. He looks at the clock before letting Jericho up to his feet. Jericho holds his neck glaring at Daniel knowing that he's lost his lead now, they face off in the center of the ring as Jericho slaps Daniel right in the face trash talking him. Daniel just holds onto his jaw smiling before slapping Jericho back, they break out into a fist fight now as they just hit eachother over and over until Daniel shoves Jericho to the turnbuckle. Daniel kicks Jericho in the chest over and over with rapid fire kicks, you can see Jericho's chest getting more and more red. Daniel then runs across the ring and runs back with a vicious dropkick to the face of Jericho, he lands on his feet and runs across for a second one landing on his feet again. For a third time he runs across to the turnbuckle and back towards Jericho.

He's about to smash Jericho in the face for the third time but Jericho moves out of the way! He collapses to his knees as Daniel jumps at full speed landing back first on the turnbuckle then landing awkwardly on his neck. Jericho pulls Daniel to his feet and slams him with a snap suplex. He places his knee right in the center of Daniel's back and wrenches his neck back as much as possible. Jericho lets go knowing it's not enough, he pulls Daniel to the corner by his hair and sits him on the top turnbuckle. Jericho climbs up to the second rope before chopping Daniel and setting him up for a superplex.



[Jerry "The King" Lawler] This could be a game changer for either man!

Daniel breaks free and then headbutts Jericho right in the forehead. Jericho nearly falls back but hangs onto the rope by one hand and replies with a headbutt of his own! Daniel is knocked silly as he almost falls off the turnbuckle too, Daniel starts shaking his head before he stands up and headbutts Jericho over and over and over! The fans cheers get louder as he headbutts Jericho nearly six times before throwing him off the turnbuckle. He stands up on the very top rope keeping his balance opening his arms looking down at Jericho.

[Jim Ross] Good god almighty what headbutts, these men will do anything to win even if it does damage to themselves! He's about to fly!



He waits for Jericho to get up to his feet and dives off for a front dropkick but Jericho amazingly catches his legs! He blocks the move by slamming Daniel hard to the ground and instantly turning him over with the Walls yet again! Jericho yells "Ask him!" at the top of his lungs as the referee runs over and checks on Daniel who is in so much pain that he has no choice but to tap out for a second time!

[Michael Cole] I don't know how Daniel's supposed to recover from something like that, from the top rope right into a Walls of Jericho, brutal stuff from the former World Champ!

Jericho lets go of the move and cockily claps his hands together for a job well done. He moves over to the turnbuckle and then rests lying across it as if it were a hammock soaking in the negative reaction as Daniel struggles to get back to his feet. He uses the rope for support as Jericho jumps off the turnbuckle. He walks around the ring showing how he's in good shape as Daniel clearly isn't. Daniel has enough as he springs over to Jericho with a big forearm knocking him down! He hooks Jericho's legs in an Indian Death Lock yet again but this time he gets up to his feet as Jericho has nowhere to go, he uses this position to lean down and viciously hit Jericho over and over until the referee pulls him off. Daniel grabs Jericho's arm and rolls out of the ring as Jericho's arm is exposed over the apron. Daniel lifts up his arm and slams it down onto the ring apron three times in a row causing Jericho to yell in agony.

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] Oh man, Daniel's going right after this arm! This is what I knew would be bad news for Jericho, when Daniel's back is against the wall he's at his most vicious.

[Jim Ross] He could damn near break his arm right now, Jericho needs to be careful!

He gets back into the ring and starts to stomp on that same arm multiple times simply trying to single it out for the Yes Lock. Jericho rolls away and shakes his arm trying to get feeling back into it but Daniel viciously kicks him in the chest.



Daniel kicks him again as the fans chant Yes along with his kicks, three more kicks to the chest as Daniel steps back taking a breather before going for the final head kick but Jericho ducks it! Daniel spins back around facing Jericho as Jericho nails him with a Codebreaker out of nowhere as the fans burst into boo's. Jericho hooks Daniel's legs and turns him over not for the Walls, but for the Liontamer! Jericho drives his knee into Daniel's upper back and head right as Daniel was gaining the most momentum he has to tap out for a third time.

[Michael Cole] The hatrick! Three to one! There's no way Daniel can recover from this, absolutely no way. You guys thought he was on a roll and then wham! Chris Jericho brings it to a halt.

Jericho smirk as he notices there's only five minutes left, he rolls out of the ring and leans against the announcers table. Daniel slowly gets up to his knees and opens his arms saying "What the hell are you doing?!" as Jericho points to his wrist and says "Time's almost up, junior." Daniel shakes his head and rolls out of the ring at full speed as Jericho runs away. Daniel chases him around the outside of the ring as Jericho tries to waste as much time as possible. He rolls into the ring as Daniel gets in only for Jericho to roll out again. Daniel makes his way to the ropes as Jericho grabs his legs and pulls him out of the ring only to roll back in. Daniel gets back into the ring but trips up! He falls to the ground clutching his ankle as the referee checks him, he looks to be in agony.

[Jim Ross] This doesn't look good folks, the damage Daniel has taken and the length of the match has taken a large toll on both men as you can see right here.

Jericho begins to laugh as he yells "AMATEUR!" at Daniel as he walks over and kicks him in the back of his head, he leans down and goes to slap Daniel in the head but he was playing possum! Daniel grabs his arm and drags him down and hooks in the Yes Lock!! Jericho is the one in agony now after the punishment his arm took throughout the match, the fans break out into huge "Tap!" chants and after nearly 20 seconds in the hold Jericho taps finally!

[Michael Cole] What?!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] He tricked him! Daniel tricked one of the dirtiest players in the game!!

[Jim Ross] Daniel only has two minutes and thirty seconds to even up the score folks..

Daniel may have got a point but it's still not enough. Jericho is just getting back to his feet as Daniel clocks him with a roundhouse kick sending him right back to the ground, Daniel knows he's against the clock now. He traps Jericho's arms and then looks out to the crowd before unleashing elbows on Jericho's neck and shoulder! His arm trap MMA elbows do great damage to Jericho before he turns him over onto his stomach and hooks both arms and flips over with a bridge into the Cattle Mutilation!

[Jim Ross] What elbows, that was hard to watch! Look at this submission King!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] I know! How can Jericho handle this pressure? Two minutes left!

Jericho can't stand the pain and if he wants to survive he has to last two minutes in the hold. The clock continues to count down as the fans break out into another huge "Tap!" chant and after nearly 30 seconds in the hold, Jericho is forced to tap out evening up the score for Daniel!

[Michael Cole] 90 seconds left and we're at a tie, someone needs to make something happen fast!

Jericho and Daniel both look at the clock knowing they only have 90 seconds left, they both run right at eachother with forearms and punches over and over. Jericho pokes Daniel in the eye and takes him down for the Walls!



But Jericho falls to the ground too due to exhaustion from the hard hitting match, he slowly gets up to his feet with a firm grip on Daniel's legs as he begins his struggle of trying to turn Daniel over.

[Jim Ross] This place is electric, is he gonna do it?!

The fans are on the absolute edge of their seats as Jericho tries to turn him over, Daniel tries everything in his will to try and stop him. He holds onto Jericho's right leg trying to stop it but Jericho reaches his leg over and locks in the Walls with a minute left!

[Michael Cole] HE'S GOT IT!

Daniel tries to keep the pressure at a minimum by using his strength to stay up but Jericho leans back causing him to crumble down. Jericho is facing the titantron so he stares at the clock yelling "TAP!!" knowing that this is his one and only chance to get the win and he's not letting go. Daniel scratches and claws as he tries to make his way to the bottom rope, the fans are practically begging him to make it as he gets his finger tips on the bottom rope!.. But there's a collective gasp as Jericho pulls Daniel away from them.

But all of a sudden Daniel uses his smaller size to pull himself through Jericho's legs and he grabs his injured arm! He uses his leg to push Jericho down forward and then slams him face first to the ground looking for the Yes Lock!

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] The clock is ticking, come on Daniel!!

Daniel scrambles with everything he has to try and grab Jericho's head but Jericho tries his best to stop it. But after a couple more seconds Daniel reaches forward and locks his hands with the full Yes Lock!

[Jim Ross] THE YES LOCK! I'll be damned he's got The Yes Lock!!

The fans burst into cheers now as Daniel has the Yes Lock fully applied. He wrenches it back as hard as he can as Jericho reaches his arm out ready to tap but doesn't, he tries to endure the pain of the hold as you can see the look of pain on his face along with the look of determination on Daniel's face.

[Michael Cole] Hold on Chris, for the love of god hold on!

Jericho now starts to claw at Daniel's fingers trying to pry him away but Daniel doesn't let up as he just wrenches even harder now. Jericho's face is turning red now from the pressure of the hold as he's almost beginning to fade now but raises his hand to show the referee he's still fighting.

[Jim Ross] Ten seconds, what's it gonna be?!

*Daniel lets go of Jericho as he collapses to the ground frustrated that Jericho wouldn't tap. Jericho is just out on the mat after suffering in the Yes Lock for 30 solid seconds. The referee simply calls for the bell as Justin Roberts reluctantly gets up.*

[Justin Roberts] Ladies and Gentlemen.. As a result of the tied scoring in the match at 3-3, this match ends in a draw..

[Jerry "The King" Lawler] A draw?! No! This can't happen..

[Jim Ross] I thought Daniel Bryan was going to damn near rip Chris Jericho's arm out of it's socket.

*A draw! The fans begin to boo as Daniel sits up after hearing that it's a draw, he gets up to his knees and shouts "NO!" and rolls out of the ring. He pleads with Justin Roberts and the timekeepers to give him more time but they're not sure what to do, he takes a microphone aggressively.*



[Daniel Bryan] A draw?! A DRAW?!

*He rolls into the ring and speaks to the referee.*



[Daniel Bryan] These people did not pay their hard earned money to see anyone "draw" that's ridiculous! I did not come to Monster Bash to wrestle 30 whole minutes with a guy like Chris Jericho to "draw"..



[Daniel Bryan] I had him! You saw it, I saw it, everyone in this arena saw it. Chris Jericho had nowhere to go and even if I had an extra ten seconds I would've got a point, I want you to restart the match, I want Sudden death!

[Michael Cole] He can't just break the rules like that, 30 minutes is 30 minutes!

[Jim Ross] As much as I'd like to see sudden death, Chris Jericho is high tailing it!

*The fans begin to chant "Sudden Death!" over and over as Daniel pleads with the referee for him to restart the match. But as he's talking with the referee what he doesn't notice is Chris Jericho rolling out of the ring! His arm is completely limp and possibly dislocated from the long time in the Yes Lock as he walks up the ramp at a slow agonizing pace. The referee exits the ring because there's nothing he can do as Daniel has the fans in a frenzy as he watches Jericho leave. He crosses his arms while shouting "NO!" as the fans chant it with him. Jericho limps through the curtain with referees help as Daniel is livid in the ring. He sits in the corner of the ring with his hands on his head in shock at how close he was to getting the win over Jericho as we fade to black.*

After a video package reliving the build up until now, for this the first ever Divas Elimination Chamber, we head inside the ring where action is about to be underway. The women are locked in the chamber, four locked in pods, and two standing on opposite ends, the first two to begin this battle. The door slams shut and the referees begin locking it, trapping all six of the divas inside this monstrous structure. Layla and Kaitlyn are both standing in opposite corners, looking around at the playground that they'll both be taking part in, while Torrie, Maria, Eve, and Brie stand in their respective pods, amused at how this match will begin, with the two new friends battling it out, while they get to watch and enjoy. With the bell sounding, Kaitlyn's focus immediately shifts to her British foe, who just stares back at her with a clear indication that she's nervous to be starting this match this way.


[King]
Here we go, this is going to be interesting, the first two women to take part in this carnage, will be the new friends in Kaitlyn and Layla.

[JR]
They picked up a tag-team victory together this past week on Breakdown, but tonight it's every woman for herself.

[Michael Cole]
But there are no friends in this type of environment, only people that want to win this just as badly as you do, so we're going to witness one of the biggest divas matches to take place in the five years of XWL....and it all begins with Layla and Kaitlyn.


Now ready to start this match, the two divas slowly approach one another, with their guard up to avoid any potential surprises from the other. They finally meet and they lock up, a battle of strength that Kaitlyn easily wins, and she shows it by sending Layla off to the ropes with a powerful push. She readies herself to do some damage upon Layla's return to the middle of the ring, but as she swings her arm, Layla grabs a hold of her wrist, then her ankle, taking her down to the canvas and flipping over her in a bridge. The referee attempts to count the pin, but just as his body hit the mat, and his hand was ready, Kaitlyn powered out, not even garnering a one count for Layla's efforts.


[JR]
It's going to take a lot more than a quick pin attempt to take down the longest reigning Divas Champion.


[Michael Cole]
Those type of moves might work against other divas, but Kaitlyn as we've seen, is a diva of her own caliber.


With both of them rising to their feet relatively fast, Layla attempts a swift spinning back kick, but Kaitlyn catches her foot flashing a "Not today Layla" sort of expression before flooring her with a brutal clothesline that has Layla land ever so awkwardly. This brings about a slight moment of concern for Kaitlyn...but as quick as it appears she ignores it and pulls Layla back to her feet for more. She easily sends her into the corner with an Irish whip. Layla now "resting" in the corner where Eve's pod is placed. The camera cuts to a shot of Eve laughing as Kaitlyn charges right at Layla, and we're not sure what she has in mind. But Layla not looking to find out, she drops down to the mat, evading Kaitlyn's momentum completely, and her own power is used against her as she collides into the turnbuckles, and Layla immediately crawls over to the middle of the ring. Kaitlyn's against the turnbuckle, somewhat effected by that head on collision with the turnbuckles, and Layla looks to follow through by charging right at her for a drop kick to the back, but Kaitlyn pushes herself away from the corner and Layla goes flying legs first right against the glass pod!


[King]
Whoa- oh no!

[Michael Cole]
That was not pretty!

[JR]
You can say that again!


Layla's legs bounce off the plexi glass and she topples over to the outside of the ring, taking a not so soft landing on the steel grated floor. Kaitlyn looks at all of this happen, not expecting one thing to cause such a, bad time for Layla....but that's perhaps an eye opening experience, realizing that any second in this match, an everyday counter, could turn career threatening. None of these ladies have ever competed in a match like this, so it's all so new to them, and Layla just learned first hand at how things can go so very very wrong. Eve kneels down in her pod noticeably mouthing "Aw poor baby" as a concerned Torrie tries to make sure Layla's okay, but she's locked in a pod, so there's not much she can do. Kaitlyn realizes this match can't end just by standing there so she quickly steps out of the ring, and covers the wounded Layla, hooking the bad leg, whether that's intentional or not.


[Michael Cole]
Are we about to have the first Elimination already?

[JR]
I wouldn't count Layla out just yet, Cole. Layla's proven before that when you underestimate her, she can surprise you in many ways.

No! Layla gets her shoulder up just as the referee counts two, not about to let her dream of becoming Divas Champion again come to an end over a little early pain.


[King]
Layla kicks out, boy that would've been a horrible way to get eliminated, none of them know what this match is truly like to compete in, so imagine having one mistake cost her the entire thing.


[Michael Cole]
It still could, that knee of hers has been on borrow time since the I Quit match at Final Stand this year, this could be the match that takes her out if she's not careful.

Kaitlyn doesn’t seem too surprised that Layla kicked out, despite the knee injury and all, it is still pretty early on in the match. Kaitlyn keeps on the attack though, grabbing Layla by the hair and forcing her to her feet before tossing her between the middle and top rope and into the ring. Kaitlyn is right behind her, entering the ring at a decent pace as she doesn’t want to give Layla too much time to recover. Kaitlyn moves herself over to the legs of Layla as she is looking to use Layla’s injury to her advantage. She grabs Layla’s previously injured leg and looks to lock in some sort of leg lock to focus on the knee but Layla pushes her away with her good leg. Layla begins to get to her feet as Kaitlyn looks to go back on the attack but Layla fends her back with an elbow to the head.

[JR]
Lalya has a little bit of fight left in the tank it seems!

[King]
Of course, Layla is a resilient girl. You should never count her out of a fight.

Kaitlyn tries to attack once again but Layla fends her off once more. Kaitlyn seems to be growing a little more annoyed as she charges at Layla but Layla ducks the clothesline and as Kaitlyn turns around, she is bet by a strong kick to the gut of Kaitlyn. Layla stays on the offensive and quickly sets Kaitlyn up for a DDT and sends her crashing down to the mat. Layla quickly follows the DDT up by  going for the pin on Kaitlyn, looking to pick up an early elimination herself.

Kaitlyn kicks out even before the two count!

[Michael Cole]
Layla should know, putting away Kaitlyn wouldn’t be that easy.

[JR]
No it wouldn’t, it is gonna take a lot to put either of these divas down for the count.


With the fans completely split, cheering on Kaitlyn, and cheering on Layla, the two get to their feet almost exactly at the same time. Within an instant they're trading forearm shots, not skipping a single beat. Kaitlyn looks to continue this war of elbows, but Layla being the quick thinker that she is ducks the oncoming shot, then before Kaitlyn knows what to do in this situation Layla spins back connecting with a swift kick to the gut that temporarily stuns Kaitlyn. Looking to follow up Layla goes charging against the ropes coming back around and dropping low for a drop kick right to the side of her head! She falls forward to the mat, but Layla knows it'll take a whole lot more than that so she yells "Come on!" ordering Kaitlyn up then goes bouncing off the ropes again, aiming for a basement style drop kick this time but before she can, Kaitlyn pops up to her feet charging head on in Layla's direction and plows right through her with a vicious shoulder block!


[King]
Getting hit by that has to feel like getting hit by a semi.

[JR]
Kaitlyn always brings a lot of powerful to her moves and that shoulder block is no exception.

[Michael Cole]
It sure isn't, and the way she hit Layla had to make matters worse, she had built up a lot of momentum from the ropes, and it was used entirely against her.



Layla's folded from the hard shoulder, and the fans pop excitedly, they didn't see it coming just like Layla didn't and it's that kind of excitement they expect heading into the divas division's first ever Elimination Chamber match. Kaitlyn grabs Layla by her hand pulling her up to her feet, sends her flying into the corner where Maria stands impatiently waiting to get in the action. The former Divas Champion comes flying at Layla, but immediately stops herself before she makes contact when Maria begins to distract her from within the pod. The fiery redhead starts pounding on the pod, gaining her full attention.


[JR]
An interesting bit of strategy on behalf of Maria there.

[King]
Kaitlyn shouldn't get distracted right now, she's in control, we all know Layla is someone you don't take your eyes off for even a second because that's all she needs.


Maria suddenly stops her little show for Kaitlyn, which confuses her a second but then she remembers Layla's right there and looks to do what she maybe should have a few seconds earlier. She hoists Layla over her shoulder placing her on the top rope, thinking she's still dazed, but what she doesn't know is that Layla's playing possum and the second she tries to get onto the second rope, Layla kicks her back with both feet knocking her down to the mat. She looks annoyed by this and comes back like a house of fire, throwing her elbow out, but during almost the exact time Layla had a quick thought to stand up on the top rope and grab a hold of the very edge of the pod roof that Maria's trapped inside for the moment. She pulls herself up now hanging from the top, but it's also too late for Kaitlyn because she straight elbows the pod that Maria's in! It startles her and infuriates her, but it does quite a bit of damage to Kaitlyn as well.



[Michael Cole]
I hate to give credit to her, but that was incredibly smart counter by Layla.

[King]
She used the pod behind her in more ways than one, to escape Kaitlyn's attempted backlash, and much like Kaitlyn did to Layla a minute ago, use her own momentum against her.


[JR]
Layla's quick thinking may have gotten her in control of this early fight.



Kaitlyn goes flying back holding her arm in agony as she falls to the mat. She's not feeling to well after straight up elbowing the glass pod, but it's about to get worse because Layla lowers herself back down to the top rope, then steps off it completely walking over to her fallen friend. When she had some knee troubles not too long ago in the match, Kaitlyn tried to make matters worse and use that in her favor, so like the saying goes, all's fair in love and war. Layla grabs Kaitlyn's arm, twisting it, Kaitlyn begging her not to, but she knows this is a match, not a friendship contest, she showed her no pardon, so she'll have to return to the favor. Layla begins to fire away on Kaitlyn's arm with a flurry of kicks, making Kaitlyn scream out and writhe with every single one.

This is way more competitive between these two than I expected.


[JR]
Layla might be fond of Kaitlyn, and think highly of her, but if you go after her knee she'll treat you just like she would anyone else.

After the trouble she went through to recover a few years ago I can't say I blame her.


The torment comes to an end luckily for Kaitlyn, but only for a moment. Layla pulls Kaitlyn closer to the ropes, backing herself against them and then jumps up wrapping her legs around Kaitlyn's injured arm as she manages to land seated on the top rope. She's not done yet though, she takes a page out of her own book, almost mimicking her figure four neck lock, except she has the arm locked. Layla falls back with her hands flat on the steel grated floor and she's choking the feeling right out of Kaitlyn's arm!

Would you look at that! That's one impressive submission.

The way Kaitlyn's arm is being hyper extended will not do her any favors in this match.


[King]
Layla's vicious but in the best way, she knows how to do some damage and it looks like she's adapting well to this environment after a rough start.




The lights begin to flicker in the Chamber, signaling that it's time for the first person to be released from their pod. As Kaitlyn struggles to not give up while trapped in this tough submission hold, we watch as the lights flash from the top of one pod to another. Who will be the third person to get involved? They're all ready, but only one will come out at a time, and the flickering is slowing down....until finally it stops on Maria's pod! The referees begin to unlock her pod as she impatiently yells at them, raring to get in there right this minute.

Now this'll be interesting, Maria's had a lot of involvement with these two over the last month.

[King]
She framed Layla, got Kaitlyn suspended, they do not like her a single bit.


[JR]
But with Layla working over Kaitlyn's arm to make her submit right now, Maria could be entering at perhaps the best possible time. Layla's focused on Kaitlyn, Kaitlyn's in pain, the timing could not be better.


Maria flies through the barely opened pod and gets into the ring, she immediately starts sprinting across the ring, leaping and connecting with huge dropkick to the face of Layla! Layla instantly releases her grip on Kaitlyn and they both crash to the ground, Layla to the mat and Kaitlyn to the hard steel where she starts holding her arm in pain. Layla tries shaking the cobwebs loose but she catches another kick to the head from Maria for her troubles. Maria let's a grin overtake her face as she stalks over her prey, she grabs Layla by her knee and drags her to the center of the ring and quickly gives her leg a big pull drawing a cringe from Layla. Layla starts squirming, trying to get her leg free but to no avail as Maria drops an elbow onto the side of Layla's elevated knee causing a shriek of pain leave Layla!

We were just talking about her knee and now Maria is trying to tear it apart!


Maria lays on top of Layla's knee for a moment before she notices Kaitlyn starting to stir. Kaitlyn makes it half way through the ropes into the ring before Maria sprints over from Layla and delivers a knee to Kaitlyn sending her back to the outside before  turning her attention back to Layla in the ring. She notices her getting to her feet but can only put the tiniest amount of pressure on her brace covered leg due to Maria's attack. Just as Layla turns away from Maria to lean on the top ropes for support, Maria charges in and hooks the bad leg of Layla and grabs her arm sweeping backwards connecting with a stiff Russian Leg Sweep! Maria immediately rolls through and grabs Layla's targeted leg once again and spins her around pulling her towards the ropes. She places the bad leg up onto the middle rope and straddles it, taunting the crowd she leaps into the air and slams her butt onto the side of Layla's bad knee! Maria stands right back up, still straddling the leg. She jumps herself into the air one last time but she suddenly goes flying over the top rope and crashing into the hard Chamber flooring!

Dear lord! Kaitlyn just came out of nowhere!

[King]
Is Maria still conscious?!


Maria is rolling around stunned and in pain on the outside as Kaitlyn looks over the small amount of carnage, sliding her view from Maria on the outside to Layla on the mat holding her knee. Kaitlyn ponders whether to take revenge or to gain an edge in the match and makes the "easy" decision and steps to the outside and starts staring over top of Maria and grabs her with both hands by the hair and pulls her up to her feet. She refuses to release Maria's hair and delivers a boot to the gut causing Maria to fling her upper body down with Kaitlyn still has her grip locked in. Her opponent screams in frustration because she can't get Kaitlyn to let go, and as the scream reaches top volume Kaitlyn, by Maria's hair, throws her back first into the side of the chamber wall!

Woah! This time I really wonder if Maria is still conscious?!


Kaitlyn throws Maria back into the the ring, and steps through the middle rope and goes for the cover on Maria!

Thr- No! Maria kicks out of the pin, not letting Kaitlyn get the best of her this early in the match. Kaitlyn doesn’t give Maria a chance to rest as she stays on the attacking, finally giving Maria what she deserves after putting Kaitlyn through a couple months of her little games. Sending down a series of strong strikes onto Maria, Maria trying her best to protect herself from the shots Kaitlyn is dealing to her. Maria gets one of her legs free and uses it to push Kaitlyn away from her, giving her enough time to get to her feet but Kaitlyn doesn’t stay off her long as she charges once again and slams Maria back first into the corner of the turnbuckle. In the back Layla begins to get to her feet, despite her knee bothering her a tad bit, she isn't letting it stop her from being in the running for a Divas Championship match.

[King]
Kaitlyn letting out all she has on Maria! I’d say this is more personal than anything right now.

[JR]
You can say that again. After what Maria has put Kaitlyn through, I’d say she deserves this!

Layla steps into the ring and makes targets Kaitlyn in the corner before running at her and connecting with a strong dropkick to the back. Layla uses the momentum to quickly rise to her feet and now targets Maria! She charges at her and connects with a clothesline into the corner, sending Maria tumbling forward a little. Layla rebounds off the ropes behind Maria and runs back at her, grabbing her by the head and slamming her down with a bulldog!  Kaitlyn begins to rise to a knee and Layla takes notice of this, taking a small step backwards before going forwards and delivering a front dropkick to the jaw of Kaitlyn, sending her down to the mat. Layla quickly goes for the cover on Kaitlyn.

No! Kaitlyn kicks out!

All three of these divas have a lot left in the tank, I wouldn't count any of them out. But we can't forget, three free divas still remain.

[JR]
You've got that right, especially for whoever may hold that number six spot. The advantage they have over others is like no other.


Layla pulls Kaitlyn in a side headlock, trying to pull her to her feet, but the hybrid diva proves she needs no help when she lifts Layla off the mat and drops her hard on the mat with a back suplex! Maria gets up just at the right time, nailing Kaitlyn with a hard kick to the gut, then pulls her in for a side head lock of her own, but what she has planned is way more than Layla did. She looks around, feeding on the boos that are echoing in, and she then gets a running straight, looking that bulldog of hers that has won her quite a good bit of matches in the past. She rushes forward with Kaitlyn seemingly helpless, but things change and fast as Kaitlyn suddenly overpowers her launching Maria up in the air just as they approached the ropes, and she sends her flying over the top rope and unfortunately for her  she goes SPLAT face first right on the floor of The Elimination Chamber!

WHOA! Maria just got introduced to the Elimination Chamber in the most painful of ways!

This is what these ladies signed up for, everything around them hurts, and the floor is no exception.

[JR]
Kaitlyn proving to have a slight edge thus far given her physical prowess over the other women in this match.



Kaitlyn's hand combs over her hair in slight relief that she avoided what could've possibly eliminated her. She seems more proud of herself than anything though, she not only countered Maria's efforts, she inflicted a whole hell of a lot of pain on her redheaded rival. But her focus shifts back to Layla as she remembers it's not just she and Maria in this match, she's joined by her friend as well, a friend that's up and ready. She's got no time to prepare, and it shows when she's struck in the gut by another spinning back kick that knocks her backwards into the corner. Holding her stomach she leans against it, while Layla throws her hands in the air playing to the fans as she backs into the opposite corner on the other side of the ring.

What's Layla looking to do?


[JR]
I haven't the slightest of ideas, but that's what plays in her favor, she's got a lot of tricks up her sleeves and you never know which one she'll pull out next.

She comes running at Kaitlyn, launching herself off the mat, spinning in mid air so her back is to Kaitlyn, going for her a more impactful version of her usual "booty bump" but is caught by a surprise when Kaitlyn ducks the attempt, and she's literally CAUGHT on Kaitlyn's shoulders!

Uh-Oh! That backfired!


[Michael Cole]
But how much, that's the question.

[JR]
What's Kaitlyn doing? Is she stepping up onto the top rope, WITH Layla on her shoulders?!

[King]
This is the most dangerous version of Chicken if I've ever seen it!



Layla frantically screams and struggles as Kaitlyn uses her immense strength, both arm and leg to climb up onto the very top rope, no one in the arena knows what she's looking to do, but whatever it is will no doubt leave Layla hurting for certain. Layla tries to fire away at the top of Kaitlyn's skull, pounding on it with weak slaps, faint elbows, but with the height in play, she's also trying to make sure she doesn't take one horrific landing in the process. Something that might be unavoidable at this point, Layla's at least slowing Kaitlyn's plans down which is helping her figure out what to do, she begins to throw her hands out, feeling the top of the Elimination Chamber, and she knows this might be her only plan of action at this point. She grips the chains ever so tightly, struggling out of Kaitlyn's grasp and manages to sit herself up on the top of the pod!

WHAT THE HELL IS SHE THINKING?


The arena is full of excitement, on their feet in amazement, something is about to go down, but who it's going to effect has yet to reveal itself. Kaitlyn tries to grab at Layla but gets a boot to the jaw for her troubles, then Layla leans forward slightly pulling Kaitlyn towards her as she hooks her head from behind, placing her in a similar position to that of one of her finishing moves usually done from the corner.

Good gawd in heaven, are we about to see a Facelift from that height?!


[King]
Kaitlyn's barely avoiding being chocked right now, her feet are almost leaving the top rope, this is going to end bad I just know it!


The entire arena suddenly lets out excited screams, getting louder and louder by the second. Layla throws her hand up as she typically does for this move, playing to them just a bit more...then after getting the guts, and the confidence to go through with this, she makes sure she's got Kaitlyn locked tight, then prepares to flip over her, still hesitant to leave the "safety" of where she is, but she finally does! With the whole audience on their feet for this crazy yet exciting moment that's about to go down, Layla starts to fall forward, gripping Kaitlyn for dear life....BUT WHAT'S THIS? As soon as Layla left the position of the roof of the pod, Kaitlyn's power kicked in and she took over! She grips Layla hoisting her over her shoulders, then jumps off the top rope powerslamming her straight to the canvas!



[JR]
GOOD GOD! SHE JUST BROKE HER BACK!


[Michael Cole]
Kaitlyn countered that at the last second!


[King]
I can't believe it! Layla's been broken in half!


An immediate "That was awesome!" chant hits the arena, the fans excited by that chain of events, and especially by how it turned out. They thought once Layla dove forward it was all over for Kaitlyn, but the gutsy longest reigning Divas Champion had enough left in the tank to deliver the biggest move thus far in this match! The fans are going crazy, and the lights begin to flicker as both women lie motionless on the mat! It's time for the next entrant in this match, and they couldn't possibly be entering at a better time! The cameras cut away to a shot from the ceiling showing the locked pods. Slowly the lights flicker from one to the other, who will be out next?



[Michael Cole]
It’s Eve! And would you look at how fired up she is?

[King]
I don’t think her banging on the door is going to get the officials to let her free any faster.

[JR]
In fact, she may be distracting them which is only hurting her cause.

After what must feel like forever to her, Eve is finally released from her pod and she makes a beeline to the ring, stepping onto then over Maria’s body, where she covers the motionless Layla!

Kick out! Eve looks at The Ref in shock, she was so close to getting the first elimination of the match mere seconds after being released from her pod. Eve lets out a scream of frustration that notices that Kaitlyn has yet to budge, she very well may have taken herself out with that move, and Eve opts to press her luck:

Another kick out! Eve gets onto her knees screaming at the ref furiously, accusing him of counting slow. The crowd is relieved that two of the women they won’t so badly to win this brutal match hadn’t fallen victim to the likes of Eve.

[Michael Cole]
Aw man! She was so close. Come on, Eve, keep up the pressure!

[King]
Could you imagine if Eve had just waltzed into the match and single-handedly eliminated two of the biggest names in the diva’s division?

[JR]
It would have certainly given her some bragging rights, that’s for sure… not that, she’d need an excuse to brag, mind you.

Eve runs a hand through her hair while rising to her feet. Now that’s she’s gathered her composure, she’s on the offensive, stomping away at Kaitlyn who’s crawling over to the ropes. Eve quickly runs over to the front of Kaitlyn’s body, jumps into the air and stomps on that injured right arm that Layla went to town on earlier in the match. Kaitlyn rolls around on the mat screaming in agony, that arm could very well be broken, and from the glimmer in Eve’s eye you can see that she’s loving every second of it. Suddenly Maria rolls her up from behind:

Eve wastes no time getting out of the school girl pin, then she beats Maria to her feet and takes her down with a vicious looking clothesline! Eve sees Layla someone nearly back on her feet, so she races over to the bristish diva and nails her in the face with her signature one-legged dropkick and the momentum of the strike knocks Layla out of the ring and some members of the audience wince when she lands on the steel. Eve is back onto her feet and she has a huge smile on her face when she sees that she’s the only diva standing. Torrie bangs on her pod, and Eve walks over to her and starts mocking her only further infuriating the woman who has no choice but to take it until she too is released from her pod.

[Michael Cole]
Now this is what I call domination, Eve has completely taken over the match.

[King]
Her being so fresh has definitely played into her favor, though it’s very noticeable how much slower and less frantic the pace has gotten.

[JR]
While slowing things down may play into her favor in a singles match, there are too many bodies to keep track of and Eve should definitely proceed with caution if she wants to come out of this match the victor.

Eve puts a rain check on taunting Torrie and focuses her attention on Kaitlyn who has successfully used the ropes to pull herself to her feet. Eve walks over, blatantly slaps the hybrid diva across the face drawing “oohs” from the crowd before taking Kaitlyn by the arm and attempting to shoot her over to the other side of the ring but Kaitlyn grabs onto the ropes with her other hand. While the block worked, Kaitlyn used her bad arm to grab the rope and she falls to a knee in pain while clutching the injured limb.

Unconcerned with Kaitlyn’s wellbeing, Eve grabs her opponent by her dual-colored hair and pulls her back to a standing base then successfully irish whips her over to the other side of the ring. When Kaitlyn hits the ropes on the other side of the ring, Layla seizes advantage of the moment and knees Kaitlyn in the back. Layla reaches over the top rope, spins Kaitlyn to face her then attempts to suplex her out of the ring. Layla has the strongest women in the match half way in the air, then but then her knee buckles, and it’s enough to shift the advantage back over to Kaitlyn who hoists Kaitlyn into the air and drops Layla gut first on the top rope!

Layla hangs there, bouncing up and down, while Kaitlyn is almost caught off guard by a charging Eve but she has the wherewithal to reverse, lifting Eve into the air in what looks to be a flapjack and she drops Eve on top of Layla on the top rope! The two women slide off the rope and drop to the outside of the ring, while Maria springs to action on the inside of the ring pouncing on an unsuspecting Kaitlyn.

[Michael Cole]
Look at that fiery red head go! She let Kaitlyn do all the heavy lifting, and now she’s poised to take advantage!

[King]
I can’t lie, that’s pretty sound strategy in a match like this where two of your opponents haven’t even come out yet.

[JR]
After everything that’s happened so far, Brie and Torrie both have to be thinking their odds for victory are steadily increasing as the match wears on.

Maria’s hands are a blur in the air as she rapidly pounds away at any surface of Kaitlyn’s body she can connect with until she’s lying on the ground doing her best to cover up. She crowd boos as Maria bends over her victim’s body and starts screaming that she doesn’t need a mask to get the best of Kaitlyn. However, she got a little too close and Kaitlyn is able to throw up a leg and knee Maria on the side of the head dazing the red-headed diva on her feet.

Meanwhile on the outside of the ring, Layla ducks under a punch from Eve, waits for her to turn around, then nails her with a roundhouse kick to the side of the head. Layla pulls Eve to her feet, and the same time that Kaitlyn gets up to take advantage of her timely knee, and the two woman make eye-contact and wordlessly plan their next move. Kaitlyn takes Maria by the arm while Layla does the same to Eve, then they both go for an irish whip but both manuvers are reversed and Kaitlyn and Layla collide, bucking heads in a sick looking meeting of the minds.

Kaitlyn staggers back into Maria, who spins her around, hops on her shoulders then snaps off a hurricanrana. Maria crawls over to Kaitlyn and goes for the cover, this is it!

Kaitlyn’s arm shoots into the air!

On the outside of the ring, Eve drops Layla groin first on her knee with a reverse atomic drop, then she takes hold of both Layla’s legs, tripping her up and dropping her on her back. Eve drags Layla over to Torrie’s pod and shouts that what she’s about to do to Layla will happen to Torrie soon enough, then Eve falls backwards catapulting Layla face first into the bulletproof Plexiglas!


[King]
For the love of God… Layla may very well have a concussion!

[JR]
And it’s just like Eve to inflict such pain on one person, while making fun of another.

In the adjacent pod stands Brie who doesn’t look too impressed with neither Eve nor Maria’s actions in this match, going as far as to feign a yawn. Layla begins crawling away from Eve who refuses to let up on the attack, stomping and kicking whatever body part is closest to her boot. She pulls Layla back to a standing base only to get pushed back by the diva who hails from Britain who clearly still has some fight left in her. Eve laughs and shouts that there’s no point in Layla fighting back before charging at her. Layla cleverly pulls down the top rope and Eve tumbles back into the ring, where Maria has Kaitlyn backed into the corner.

Maria backs up to create some distance then races over to Kaitlyn looking to hit a monkey flip, but Kaitlyn holds on tight to the tope ropes with both hands and Maria hits the mat back first. She rolls backwards onto her feet just in time to see Kaitlyn explode out of the corner and use all the strength in the legs to deliver a powerful dropkick. Maria slowly rises to her feet where Kaitlyn is waiting for her, and the hybrid diva kicks Maria in the gut and sets her up for a suplex. Just before she goes for it, she spots Eve slowly standing up and a lightbulb goes off in her head.

She pulls Maria over to where Eve is getting up and wraps her arm around her head and it looks like she’s getting two for the price of one and there’s a big pop from the crowd in anticipation for the move. However, Eve wisely throws her arm up until she’s able to land a closed fist strike on Kaitlyn’s injured arm causing her to release her grip. With Kaitlyn focused on the pain shooting up her arm, Maria is able to wiggle out of her grasp and surprisingly, Maria and Eve work together, lifting Kaitlyn into the air for a suplex, bouncing her legs off the top rope then slamming her down for a suplex! Eve is the first to go for a pin:

Maria grabs a handful of hair and pulls her off then goes for the pin herself:

Now it’s Eve who’s breaking up the pin! The two women begin screaming at each other, both claiming to have done most of the work during that double suplex and thus feel they are the one most deserving to pin Kaitlyn. The crowd boos not just because of their disdain for the two women, but because they would take out in the middle of the match to actually argue about something as minute as this. Suddenly, they come to a truce and decide that they can both pin Kaitlyn, but before we can see how that would play out, Layla pops out of nowhere, takes the two women by the head and bashes their heads together not once, not twice, but three times; effectively returning the favor from earlier in the match.

[Michael Cole]
Oh no, not her. Not now. Not like this.

[King]
It looks as though after everything she’s gone through, Layla’s back in business.

[JR]
She’s taken such a beating, though, how much could she possibly have left?

We’re about to find that out as Layla delivers a sharp back elbow to the jaw of Maria knocking her back into the ropes, then doubles over Eve with a sharp spinning back kick to the gut. Layla then takes Eve by the head, and hits a bulldog while taking Maria out with a clothesline simultaneously. Layla gets up and lets out a scream to the delight of the fans who are pleased to see that the adrenaline is helping Layla take control of the match. At least she was in control for a little while, because as she pulls Maria up to her feet, Maria rakes her in the eyes, then shoots her over to the corner.

Layla hops onto the middle rope, then the top, but her knee is still pretty hurt and it nearly causes her to lose her balance. Maria comes dashing over only to get kicked in the face by Layla giving herself some precious seconds to balance herself then dive off the top with a crossbody! Layla sticks the landing, hooiking Maria’s leg for the pin:

Kick out! You can hear the disappoint from the audience who was so close to not having to deal with Maria for the rest of the match. But there’s too much on the ling for Maria to go down like that. This is the first ever Diva’s Elimination Chamber Match, a point that has been reiterated and emphasized countless time because no matter which way you slice it history will be made tonight, and women like Maria want to be on the right side of that history because history doesn’t remember the losers.

But more than that, victory means taking a step closer to becoming a champion in this company. Women like Torrie have yet to have the honor of holding the prestigious belt, while the likes of Kaitlyn and Layla would love nothing more than to stand triumphantly at the top of the mountain one more time in their careers.

Eve hasn’t forgotten how Layla actively got in the way of her and her championship aspirations and she lets her aggression out on Layla with a clubbing forearm to the lower back. Eve then lifts Layla into the air and drops her down hard with a back suplex. For a second it looks as though Eve were going for the pin, but another thought crosses her mind and instead she turns and makes her way over to the corner.

She climbs up with her back facing the ring and she can only have one thing in mind; however, before she can snap off the moonsault, Layla quickly scrambles onto the feet and races over to the corner on her bad knee where pushes Eve’s legs out from under her causing her to lose her balance. Looking to take a huge chance with her career is Layla who climbs up behind Eve and plants her feet on the middle ropes as he sets up for a huge super back suplex.

[Michael Cole]
I don’t like where this is going, come Eve, fight out of it!

[King]
I hope Layla knows what she’s doing. She’s already taken a few bad falls in this match already.

[JR]
Is that the countdown? It looks like it’s time for the next diva to make her way out!



The lights dance back and forth between the pods of Brie Bella and Torrie Wilson, while Eve tries to fight her way out of Layla’s grip because she must realize that it’ll be a long way down. A buzz is heard and the crowd boos as Brie’s pod is opened up and the twin takes her time getting out and she keeps her distance as she watches Eve and Layla’s stalemate from a spot where she can’t get caught in the mix.

Layla rakes Eve’s back, running her nails down along the length of her spine, then she once again goes for the back suplex, but this time Kaitlyn pops up under her! Maria slowly stands to her feet, but she’s clearly out of it, with her knees looking like they’re made of rubber instead of solid bone. In the corner, Kaitlyn, powers Layla down with a powerbomb who hits the super back suplex at the same time on Eve and poor Maria is caught in the cross fire and all four women come crashing down to the mat!

There’s a huge pop from the crowd after that crazy moment and there’s not a single person o they’re feet as they break on in a chant of “Holy shit!” completely unable to get over what they just saw. These women have put themselves through so much already and not only have there not been any eliminations, but Torrie Wilson still has yet to enter the match!

Brie looks like she’s about to get involved in the match, but Kaitlyn begins to stir and she changes her behind. Unaware of Brie’s presence on the outside of the ring, Kaitlyn crawls over to Layla, and while she may now have nothing personal against her, Layla’s body was the closest and at the end of the day, Kaitlyn is in this match to win. As Kaitlyn hooks Layla’s leg with her good arm, the hybrid diva is no doubt thinking that an elimination would bring her that much closer to victory.

Layla somehow kicks out! Kaitlyn looks up at The Ref in disbelief and almost as if the ensure that this isn’t a dream or some sick joke, Kaitlyn tries for the cover for the second time in a row:

It wasn’t a fluke, Layla refuses to go out like this. Again, Kaitlyn looks close to distraught, but seeing Maria begin to stir out of the corner of her eye puts a wicked smile on her face. Maria has put her through so much, making her life hell for weeks, and earlier in the night, Kaitlyn promised tonight was going to be about payback as much as it would be about becoming diva’s champion and what better way to get revenge than by breaking someone clean in half?

Kailtyn backs up over to the ropes, then squats down, measuring Maria for what may be the biggest spear she has ever delivered. Maria needs the assistance of the ropes  to get to her feet and the crowd is starting to get hot as they begin chanting Kaitlyn’s name, hyping her up even more to deliver the fatal strike.

[Michael Cole]
I’ve never seen that look on Kaitlyn’s face before, I’m a little scared for Maria right now.

[King]
As you should be, and a spear is only half of what she deserves.

[JR]
But a wildcard is Brie who backed away to keep out of Kaitlyn’s line of sight but she looks to be making her move now.

Maria is finally up on her feel and turns around and just as Kaitlyn begins to charge, Brie reaches over the top rope, grabs a handful of Kaitlyn’s hair and tries to pull her forcefully down to the mat but an elbow to the face ends that plan. Maria seeks to take advantage of Brie’s distraction, but kicking Kaitlyn the gut to prepare her for the Beautiful Bulldog, but once again Kaitlyn powers out of it throwing Maria out of the ring, but at least this time, Maria has Brie to break her fall!

This time, Kaitlyn goes right out after Maria mounting her so that he can deliver so stiff rights and lefts until Maria is able to roll her back around and pound the back of her head against the steel grating outside of the ring.

Brie gets to her feet and watches wide-eyed at the cat fight occurring right in front of her. She backs up until her back is pressed against the ropes but she quickly finds herself in the wrong place at the wrong time when Layla stands on the middle rope, and uses it as leverage to pull Brie into the ring with an inverted suplex! Brie doesn’t stay down for long, but that, move has definitely had some effect on her. Layla races forward looking to take off Brie’s head with a superkick, though Brie’s able to catch Layla’s boot just a mere inch or so before it could shatter her jaw then she throws the foot to the side nailing Eve right in the face just as she got to her feet.

Layla spins around and Brie quickly goes on the offensive, kicking Layla in the gut and planting her skull first in the mat with a vicious DDT. She rolls Layla onto her back and pins her:

Layla’s arm shoots into the air! Brie gets to her feet and notices Eve attempting to do the same thing. Brie races over to the ropes, gathering some momentum, then she leaps into Eve’s arms then pulls out her signature snapmare and Eve’s momentum causes her to go rolling out of the ring onto the unforgiving steel where nothing but danger awaits.

On a different side of the outside section of the chamber are Kaitlyn and Maria who are still going at it. On their feet now, the two women are trading punches, neither wanting to admit that their feeling pain or succumb to it, and so they keep on pushing themselves because winning this match is so important to them. Kaitlyn hits Maria with a hard right to the fact, follows it up with an equally hard left and now it looks that the hybrid’s divas strength has once again played a big factor in this match as Maria hasn’t been able to throw punches as hard as her rival.

Kaitlyn has Maria backed against the ropes and a mischievous grin finds its way on her face as she looks at the chain-linked wall of the chamber. Kaitlyn takes Maria by the arm looking to shoot her into the cage, but Maria shows some agility hopping onto the cage then quickly climbing but before Kaitlyn can get her hands on her. Maria then jumps off the cage fall in a crossbody of sorts but is caught by Kaitlyn in midair!

The hybrid diva switches up Maria’s position so that she’s now primed to get slammed through the earth with a powerslam, but Maria throws a couple of sharp elbows right in Kaitlyn’s face then slips out of her grasp landing behind her. Maria pushes Kaitlyn forward right into the cage wall!

Good girl, Maria! Right in the face! Scar that wannabe Goldberg for life!

That match has certainly brought out these women’s vicious sides, I can’t believe the things I’ve seen.

[JR]
You never really know what people are willing to do to survive, until their backs are pressed against the wall.

Maria takes Kaitlyn by the head and slams her face against the reinforced steel one more time for good measure, then Maria backs up to give herself some space before charging forward and driving both of her knees into Kaitlyn’s back knocking her back into steel for the third straight time. Kaitlyn crumbles to the ground, but Maria isn’t quite done with her yet. The vicious red-head pulls Kaitlyn onto her feet and lifts her into the air for what looks to be a falcon arrow, but instead of dropping Kaitlyn on her back, Maria lets her entire body weight drop on that bad arm bringing Kaitlyn a whole heap of pain.

In the ring, Brie kicks out just before the count of three and you can see the disappointment etched onto Layla’s face who has been battling in this war since the very beginning and everything that she has endured is beginning to take its toll. The British-born diva rolls off of Brie who immediately starts working her way back to her feet. Layla takes her by the arm, whipping her over into the corner then charges right at her only to eat a boot for her efforts. Off the reversal, Brie hoists herself up to the top then begins to straighten herself, when Eve suddenly grabs her boot though Brie’s able to kick her in the face. Eve staggers backwards and Brie makes a snap-decision to do a crossbody on Eve but nobody’s home!

No matter where anyone is sitting in the arena, they had to have heard the thud Brie’s body made when it landed on the steel with nothing to cushion her fall. Eve scrambled into the ring to evade Brie’s attack but now with Layla all over her, Eve must feel as though she jumped out of the fire pan and straight into the fire. Eve gets onto her knees and pushes the relentless Layla away from her. Eve takes a running start only to get hit with a drop toe hold.

Layla races over to the ropes while Eve rises to her feet with a hand on her jaw then she leaps over het and does a sunsetflip:

Eve shifts her weight and now the pin is in her favor:

Layla barely gets out of the predicament before the count of three! The two women kick out but Layla attempts to catch her off guard with a swift roundhouse kick, but Eve ducks under and pushes her opponent away. They go charging at each other with the same thought crossing their minds and they take each other out with clotheslines!

Ordinarily, I’d say that great minds think alike, but this was just a case of Layla getting lucky.

[King]
You don’t achieve the thing’s Layla has with luck, Cole.

[JR]
On the other hand, I’m sure all of these women will feel lucky to be alive when this match is all said and done.

Maria and Kaitlyn have been going at it for a while, both refusing to relent until the other stops moving. Maria is still in control in this round of their multiple encounters in this match, and Kaitlyn is trying to stand but every time she gets close Maria places a hand on her face and pushes her back down to the ground screaming all kinds of insults in the direction of the longest-reigning diva’s champion. When she gets bored she allows Kaitlyn to fully rise to her feet then throws a wild punch that Kaitlyn easily ducks under and hurriedly hits a desperation headbutt that seemingly stuns her as much as it does Maria, though Kaitlyn quickly shakes it off, charges forward and connects with a vicious clothesline that knocks them both over the top rope and back into the ring.

The crowd is going crazy as this thrilling match up has yet to disappoint them. The Ref can do nothing but stand there and watch as these women put themselves through hell and when all four women in the ring begin to stir he gets out of the way to allow them to do their thing. Kaitlyn, Maria, Layla and Eve are all going at it when suddenly a voice screams at them from way up high. It’s Brie Bella!

The four women turn to face her just in time to watch her dive off the top off the pod taking everyone out but Kaitlyn who was just able to duck out of harms’ way but collapses to the ground! For what may be the first time in her career, Brie has done something that has made the fans happy because once again they are all on their feet chanting “Holy shit!” as Brie went above and beyond the call of duty to show that she’s more than just a pretty face. The camera’s cut over to Torrie’s face that has worry on it and she’s forced to look on until her pod is opened.

Brie crawls over to Maria and drapes an arm over her chest:

Maria’s arm shoots into the air just before The Ref’s arm hits the mat a third time!

What!? She kicked out! Maria’s still in the match!

[JR]
If ever there was a kick out based solely on instinct that had to be it.

Brie sits up and in complete disbelief and struggles to stand as the chamber has already taken a toll on her body. She turns around and gets hit with a spear! The crowd pops as that came absolutely out of nowhere, but Kaitlyn made a big mistake in the heat of the moment, striking Brie with her bad arm and now she’s paying the price as she rolls around on the mat wondering if her arm will ever work properly again after this battle is over.

Eve begins crawling over to the ropes using them to help her up and she’s only halfway to her feet when Layla stumbles over and hits a knee to Eve’s side. She didn’t get all of it, but it’s enough to knock Eve through the ropes and out of the ring. As Layla steps between the ropes and exits the ring herself just by looking at her face you can tell that she may not have that much left. There’s no time like the present for her and she must realize now and it’s time for her to go for the jugular.

Layla grabs Eve in a front facelock, then slowly turns her around looking to put her away once and for all with the Layout, but in an act of desperation, or perhaps it was an act of cunning, Eve throws back her legs and hits Layla right in the back of the knee causing her to crumble to the ground in agony.

This all happened right in front of Torrie’s pod and Eve walks right up to the glass and says poses right before saying that Torrie might as well stay in the pod cause she has no chance of winning the match and that really gets under Torrie’s skin. Suddenly, the crowd begins chanting:

Eve looks around in confusion unsure of what’s going at first.

Get out of there, Eve!

And here we go she’s going to wish she kept her mouth shut.

The entire dynamic of this match is about to get flipped on its head.

There’s no need for light games because it’s obvious who’s next to enter the match. Realizing that she’s about to become face to face with a fresh competitor after everything she’s been through in the match, Eve tries to knock away the official’s hands from unlocking the pod, but she can’t do much with them being outside of the structure, so instead she opts to try to muscle the door shut and it seems to be working as Torrie furiously pounds on the door while the crowd boos the hell out of Eve.

Layla grabs Eve from behind and pulls her away from the door, and Torrie quickly gets out of her pod to the delight of the crowd and quickly charges to take out Eve who slips out of Layla’s grasp at the last second putting her in harm’s way. Layla falls victim to Torrie’s clothesline, but Torrie keeps focused on Eve and hits her with a dropkick that knocks her backwards. Eve trips over her feet and falls into the still open pod door that Torrie just came out of and quickly closes the door keeping the wall of glass between the two of them.

Torrie begins kicking the glass, determined to break it down so she can get her hands on the pest otherwise known as Eve, when suddenly Layla attacks her from behind and throws her face first into the glass! Layla then wraps her arms around Torrie’s waist looking to drop her on her head with a german suplex, but Torrie breaks her grip tucks her head under Layla’s armpit and hits a northern lights suplex!

A thud is heard in ring as Kaitlyn puts Brie down with a sidewalk slam and immediately transitions to the pin:

Brie kicks out!

Kaitlyn rolls off Brie in frustration, she starts getting up when she suddenly is blindsided! Maria seems to have recovered from the big crossbody from earlier and seems ready to put somebody down. Maria, in a shocking move, pulls Kaitlyn by the hair towards the ropes and throws her over the top rope just to turn back in the ring towards Brie. Maria lifts up the Bella and delivers a forearm shot causing her to stagger back, she closes the gap quickly and fires off another shot which sends Brie into the corner.  Maria delivers a few more forearm's to make sure Brie is set and then she lifts her up by the waist onto the second rope. Maria climbs up to join her on that rope where Brie suddenly comes alive! Both diva's begin exchanging blows before Maria starts getting the edge once again, she hooks Brie's head aiming for a bulldog but out of nowhere Kaitlyn joins the fray!


She delivers a blow to both women causing Maria to lose her grip on Brie and to start rocking on that middle rope. Kaitlyn looks at the two diva's and charges in she shoves the wobbly Maria over the top rope and to the outside where she smacks off the Chamber floor! Kaitlyn then lifts Brie to the top rope and joins her there. Kaitlyn hooks Brie's arm over her head and steps up to the very top rope, she lifts her up and over!

Oh my gosh!


Kaitlyn and Brie go crashing to the mat as Kaitlyn drills her with a GIANT superplex! Both divas lie on the mat, Kaitlyn looking for Brie and Brie looking for an escape. Back to the outside Torrie delivers a big shot to Layla! Layla goes reeling and while she tries and regroups Torrie turns back to Eve and attempts to open the pod. Eve starts yelling at Torrie to look behind her, which causes Torrie to spin around because of earlier and as she does this Eve swings the pod open and blindsides her! Eve grabs Torrie by her hair and lifts her head up off the chain link before suddenly slamming it back down. Eve places her boot on Torrie's head and starts using it to grind the face of Wilson against the cold steel and becomes to focused as she forgets about Layla who has recovered and them some as she delivers a quick spin kick to Eve's gut forcing the air from her body. Layla tucks Eve's head under her arm and lifts her into the air snapping her over with a big suplex onto the steel! Layla grabs Eve and tosses her between the ropes into the ring where she climbs in and makes the cover.

Nope! Eve gets her shoulder up. The camera pans to the opposite side of the ring where Kaitlyn has gotten up and is stalking Brie whose still down, Kaitlyn walks next to the ropes and just as she goes to make her move on Brie Maria out of nowhere grabs her by the chin and reverse hot shots her! Kaitlyn stumbles to center ring as Maria climbs to the top rope, she gets there and only thinks for a second before leaping and drilling Kaitlyn with a successful crossbody! Maria hooks the leg but before the ref can count Layla grabs her by the leg and yanks her off? Layla and Maria start trading blows and once again Maria gets the edge and stuns Layla with a big slap. Maria hooks her head with the intent being her Beautiful Bulldog but that doesn't last long as Layla breaks her grip and spins out of it. She then grabs her arm and pulls her in close, ducking behind the red head and grabbing her neck going for her signature neckbreaker, The Layout, but Maria counters by grabbing the top rope as Layla pulls down! Layla thuds on the mat with out Maria's neck meeting her shoulder and suddenly out of nowhere a big CRACK is heard as Maria kicks Layla right in the back of the head! Maria grabs the lifeless body of Layla and sets her up for the Beautiful Bulldog, she tightens her grip and charges forward looking to put Layla away and it connects! She rolls Layla over for the cover!

Layla shoots her shoulder off the mat as Maria slowly shuts her eyes and clinches her fist and raises it to strike at Layla again but from behind the fist is grabbed by Kaitlyn! She spins Maria around and grabs her by the throat but before anything can be done Brie jumps from the top rope and drills Kaitlyn with a double ax handle! Kaitlyn falls to the mat as her she rolls under the bottom rope to the outside, and behind Maria and Brie is Eve whose dragging Layla back to the outside as well. Maria and Brie start jawing at each other before a shoving match begins and Brie takes a big swing at Maria who ducks it! Maria throws one of her own and it connects big time as Brie falls to one knee. Maria grabs her arm and whips Brie into the corner, Maria charges in full speed but Brie moves! Maria leaps and lands on the second rope and turns around quickly to face Brie! Brie thinks she's got the edge but as she turns around Maria leaps and drills her with a  Beautiful Bulldog! She covers!

Brie Bella's out! We have our first elimination!



[JR]
And an unexpected one at that, I never imagined Brie would be out first, but Maria just set the mark, she's eliminated the first person of this match-up. You know, Layla may have been on to something when she said earlier that Maria is the one to watch.

[Michael Cole]
That could be the case, she's here to prove a point, to rise to the top of this division, and if she can eliminate the other four remaining divas, she could be well on her way to doing just that.




Maria arrogantly poses, soaking in the boos as Brie's rolled under the ropes by referees and is escorted out. The focus shifts to Eve who pulls Layla up to her feet, gripping her jaw mocking her. She tries to pull her in for a suplex, taking a few steps back....almost as if she were going to try to suplex her against the chain linked wall. But Layla's got a little bit left in the tank, she jabs Eve in the gut several times, pushes her off against the wall for minimal damage. But the real damage is about to come, Layla screams out fired up, and throws her leg up for a round house! A kick that would surely knock Eve out, is DUCKED! She swoops under her leg, making Layla kick the wall! But worse, her foot gets stuck in between the openings of it! She tries to pull her foot out, to get free, but it's already too late, Eve backs away, then throws her heel up with a pep in her step as she strikes the caught knee of Layla's, sending a horrific shrill out of the former Divas Champion.




[JR]
Jesus! Layla's knee is going to be hanging on it's last thread by the time this match is over!


[Michael Cole]
I think the damage is done, Layla's fighting through it, but I think that knee's been injured again, and if it has, she needs to swallow her pride and decide if she wants this to be her last match, or if she wants to fight again someday.



[King]
As much as I hate to, I kind of feel inclined to agree. Layla's tough, but that knee can only take so much.


Unfortunately for Layla, it's about to get much worse...Eve slips her arm through one of the other holes and starts to pull Layla's foot in further through the wall...Layla helplessly tries to pull away, but she's in a bad place right now, that's about to become far worse than she initially thought. Eve stretches Layla's leg bending it forward against the chained wall, but then she grabs a handful of Layla's hair with her other hand, and begins to force her face against it as well! Layla's being tortured in the worst way we've seen in this match thus far. Eve's attempting to dislocate her knee, and ruin her good looks by grinding her face across the steel chains. The fans hate every single second of this, but it's as if she doesn't care, she's tired of playing games, she's leaving this match number one contender even if she has to mane every single person left in this match to do so.




[Michael Cole]
Good heavens! Eve's showing a side of her that I've never seen before.


[King]
You and me both, this Eve is much more calculating and she really is going for actual damage, not a quick win. She wants to win, but she wants to do so by destroying everyone, starting with Layla.



[JR]
She lost to her this past week, and it's like that loss has had her say enough is enough, something had to change, and I don't know what....but something has come over Eve.


[Michael Cole]
Okay enough is enough, I'm all for giving someone what they deserve, but Layla's screams are almost hard to stomach at this point....


Kaitlyn and Torrie both turn as they hear the screams, it bothers them too....and they seem to want to something about it, but this is supposed to be every woman for themselves...still it's too much, they start to enter the ring, but before they can Maria charges at them, slipping through the ropes with a drop kick that knocks them both back, and Maria stands over the two proud of her handiwork. She grabs Torrie and Kaitlyn by their hair, attempting to take a page out of Eve's book and grind them against the wall, but they put a quick stop to that sending Maria flying forward and bouncing off the cage wall, right into a double Russian leg sweep on the floor! Eve decides she's hurt Layla enough to shatter her chances of winning, so she let's go, allowing Layla to slowly drop to the floor, her foot free'd, tears flowing down her face, and her hands clutching her knee. This doesn't look good, but instead of trying to finish Layla there....she starts to enter the ring, and then stands firmly in the middle, motioning for Torrie and Kaitlyn to be her next victim. They turn their focus away from each other, and at the beckoning Eve. Kaitlyn shrugs her shoulders then puts one foot through the ropes to enter....BUT TORRIE GRABS HER! She takes hold of her face, then slams her face down against the steel floor with the Nose Job facebuster!



[King]
What was that for?!


[Michael Cole]
Perhaps Torrie is looking to make her own impact in this match, just as Maria did by eliminating Brie.


[JR]
She's rolling Kaitlyn into the ring, is Kaitlyn about to be eliminated?!



Torrie slides under the bottom rope with Kaitlyn, wasting not a second in covering her, while Eve watches with a grin, one more out, makes this match even easier for her. The fans aren't sure what to think, is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Is....NO! Kaitlyn gets her shoulder up in a split second, staying alive and garnering a pop from the fans, but a frown from the upset Torrie. She seized an opportunity in front of her, but it wasn't enough.







[Michael Cole]
It doesn't get any closer than that.



Kaitlyn rolls away from Torrie, taking safety in the corner, while Eve stalks her, waiting for her to turn around....she stands up, spinning around to focus on Eve, and gets stuck by a kick to the gut, then hooked for Eve's neck breaker but tries to fight out of it, getting locked in a war of strength. Maria's found her way into the ring, notices what's going on, and just as Torrie did moments ago, Maria sees an opportunity, and now it's time to seize it! She runs off the ropes, wincing as her back hits the ropes, but keeps going...pushing through Eve and Torrie's locked up grabbing their heads along the way and drops them with an impressive running double bulldog!



[JR]
Now that's something you don't see everyday.


[Michael Cole]
No it isn't, and that's why it's such a standout move, she took two divas out with one move.


Layla's rolling on the outside in pain still, more than pain, absolute agony...her screams giving her an even bigger target, because it makes Maria's full attention go exclusive to her. She walks over to the ropes getting down on her hands and knees and starts to drag Layla into the ring. Pulling her she successfully gets her under the bottom rope, and now Layla's ripe for the taking. Maria gets a handful of The Brit's hair, yanking her up, barely to her feet....and then pulls her inward to a side head lock, setting a plan for yet another Bulldog, this one to score her the second elimination in this match!



[King]
There's nothing Layla can do!


[JR]
This is it!



Maria looks around at the fallen Eve, Torrie, and Kaitlyn....nothing can stop her now, this is her match to win and thanks to Eve's craftiness just a few minutes ago, Layla is as helpless as an old woman that's just had her purse snatched by a young spry thief. Maria screams out "I'm the greatest diva in here, and you're all about to see why!" Maria rushes forward, taking Layla along with her for a ride that's almost certain to be her last....WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN KAITLYN LEAPS OFF HER FEET AND CHARGES AT THE ONCOMING MARIA WITH A SPEAR!




[Michael Cole]
No! WHERE THE HELL DID SHE COME FROM?!


[King]
The right place at the wrong time for Maria!


[JR]
WHAT A SPEAR BY KAITLYN!




The fans are going nuts after Kaitlyn speared Maria just as she delivered the Beautiful Bulldog to Layla at the exact same time! Maria's out, Kaitlyn hooks the leg....the fans chanting along with the referee..

Kaitlyn finally got some revenge on Maria, she's taken her out of the running for the number one contendership!


[Michael Cole]
That's not fair! She was supposed to eliminate Layla first!

You have to admit that was almost brilliant the way she caught Maria so off guard, she leaped to her feet in an instant and knew exactly what to do from there.



Maria's rolled out just as Brie was, and Kaitlyn's feeling good, she's been wanting to do that to Maria since she found out she was the one hiding under the mask all this time. She framed her now friend Layla, she got her suspended after she lost her title, but at last Kaitlyn has gotten retribution! But the match is still going and Torrie is back in this! She charges at Kaitlyn with a clothesline in mind, but she ducks under her arm, and Torrie goes flying towards the ropes, but shows off impressive athleticism when she suddenly springs forward onto her hands, bouncing her back off the ropes as she reaches them, then pushes back and aims to nail a springboard back elbow to perfection! Something that doesn't go as planned, Kaitlyn side steps her suddenly, hooking her as she falls back to complete the move, and drops her with the Inverted DDT!



[Michael Cole]
Torrie doesn't pull that move off often, and I think we just saw why!


[King]
Is Kaitlyn about to get another elimination already?!



She hooks Torrie's legs....and the referee begins to count!

Torrie's gone! Torrie Wilson is the third eliminated!

Torrie trying to catch Kaitlyn off guard there, but ended up getting caught herself and now she's out!

We're down to Layla, Eve, and Kaitlyn, one of these women is the new number one contender!


[JR]
But thanks to Eve, Layla's chances don't look too good, she's not recovered yet, and if she doesn't get back in this soon she's as good as gone next.


[Michael Cole]
We have to remember though, counting Layla out, no matter the circumstance is never a good idea.



[King]
If you ask me, I'd say Kaitlyn's well on her way to winning this, she's eliminated two people within a minute of each other, these two better watch out.




With Torrie making the walk of shame out of the match, the door shuts again, and we see Eve standing on one side of the ring, while Kaitlyn is on the other. Layla's on the mat, not a factor in the war to win right now, so they've turned their eyes to one another, and rush forward! They both swing for clotheslines but they both duck under them, come back around the ropes gaining a huge wave of momentum propelling them back at each other, but again showing how much is left in either of them, they side step out of the way before they could collide. Now circling around each other, Eve looks to make the first strike by attempting a kick to the injured shoulder of Kaitlyn, but she catches her foot stopping that plan of action before it could do it's job, then pulls Eve in forward lifting her on her shoulders!

That strength coming into play again.


[JR]
It's helped Kaitlyn a lot in this match, and who knows, this could be elimination number three right here!


Kaitlyn seems to set her up for the single knee gut buster, Eve puts a stop to that quickly by hammering away on Kaitlyn's shoulder with repeated elbows that send her down to one knee. Eve lands to safety, then grabs a hold of her ready to end it, to get her first elimination with a spinning neck breaker! The fans are suddenly cheering....are they Eve fans? No! Layla's up, she's back in this, she hobbles forward, throwing her leg up for a superkick to the unsuspecting Eve, perhaps revenge is about to be very sweet....no it's not! Eve ducks out of the way, Kaitlyn gets caught in the line of fire and folds backwards stunned by the super kick to the jaw!





[Michael Cole]
That's not gonna win you any friends! That's how The United Queendom came to an end, Layla super kicked Paige accidentally and the rest is history!


[King]
Kaitlyn's about to be as well!



Eve laughs pointing at Layla, she tried to get payback, but only ended up helping Eve....Eve crawls forward covering Kaitlyn.

Layla screams out in frustration, that's not what she wanted to do, but she can't break the pin up, they're supposed to be out for only themselves.....

The fans, Layla, and the commentary team all watch as the referee's hand is slowly dropping for the three.......when suddenly it stops an inch away from the mat as Kaitlyn's arm pops off the canvas to a tremendous pop!



[JR]
I don't believe it!


[Michael Cole]
Somehow, someway Kaitlyn kicked out, Eve can't believe it!


[King]
I don't think any of us can!



Eve's jaw is on the floor, SHE KICKED OUT?! The angry diva screams, immediately blaming the referee for counting slow. He looks at her assuring her that wasn't the case, then suddenly she charges at Layla in an enraged state, grabs a fistful of hair yanking her closer, she's gonna do what she should have earlier, put Layla out of her misery! Hooking her neck for the neck breaker, Layla spins out of it and delivers a vicious kick to the skull of Eve. It hit the intended target this time, and she falls into the cover....

Eve kicks out!



[Michael Cole]
What will it take to eliminate these final three women? They've got a lot of heart I'll say that much.



[JR]
Heart, guts, and a strong determination, they wanna become the number one contender, but this can only continue for so long before someone slips up.



Layla begins to look frustrated but her frustration got the better of her as Eve is up before Layla realizes the second Layla gets to her feet she is taken down with a clothesline. Eve looks over at Kaitlyn and then down at Layla, she see's her chance she stands over Layla and stares at Kaitlyn before a smirk comes across her face, when she goes for her signature maneuver the Booty Pop Moonsault! As Eve is shakin' it, she doesn't realize Layla has come around, Layla lifts up her feet and uses them to shove Eve forward....INTO THE SPEAR! Kaitlyn spears Eve from out of nowhere!




[King]
She did it again! How does she do that!?


[JR]
ANOTHER SPEAR! EVE'S IN TROUBLE!

3! Eve is eliminated! Thanks to them unintentional teamwork between Layla and Kaitlyn.






[King]
Ding dong the witch is gone! She showed a new, more sinister side, but it wasn't enough...though the damage may be done, Layla sent Eve flying right into a spear and now we're down to the final two!


[JR]
This isn't just the final two, these are the first two women that entered this match, and now they've outlasted the other four women and stand before us the last remaining divas!



[Michael Cole]
Kaitlyn's got a bad shoulder, but Layla's knee is in even worse condition, it's a miracle she's lasted this long, but the fact that Kaitlyn's eliminated half of this match, doesn't help Layla's chances in the least bit.


[King]
It sure doesn't, Kaitlyn's been on fire, catching those three divas when they least expected it, showing her moves can come at any time, in almost any situation!


[JR]
Now it's come to this, our final two, the two women that are the longest reigning Divas Champions, the two friends, the two history makers....one of them is about to make history again, and potentially go onto having yet another record breaking title reign, but who will it be?



The fans are split "Let's go Layla! "Let's go Kaitlyn!" chants have begun, Kaitlyn's standing tall, ready to go, but Layla's not so fortunate. She's trying to get up, backing herself against the ropes, she stares at Kaitlyn, watching her motion Layla to get up. But that's a bit easier said than done at this point. Layla grabs at the ropes, struggling to pull herself up, and the second she finally does....there's no mercy from her pal because she comes barreling in for a SPEAR! Layla stumbles forward, Kaitlyn inches away, IS THIS IT?! NO! Layla finds the counter no one else could previously in this match and trips Kaitlyn up with a drop toe hold! Immediately she hooks Kaitlyn's ankle and begins to bend it backwards almost against her back, pulling off one excruciating submission hold just when all hope seemed lost!

Layla just countered the spear!


[King]
Not only that she set Kaitlyn up in one hell of a predicament!


[Michael Cole]
Layla's knee has been the target since minute one of this match, and Layla's finally returning the favor, look at Kaitlyn's knee bend!



[JR]
Layla's always pulling off moves when you least expect it, and I'll say it now, I didn't expect this! Is Kaitlyn going to tap?



[King]
I didn't think anyone could avoid that spear of Kaitlyn's after two people fell victim to it, but Layla did, so you know what, maybe Kaitlyn will!



Once more the fans are split "Tap!"  "Don't tap!" Kaitlyn can't help but reach out for the ropes, gripping them....but it does nothing, rope breaks aren't a luxury for her in this match, it doesn't break the hold, and judging by the look of agony on her face, and the sounds coming from her, Layla may have just turned this match back in her favor, and away from the woman that's taken out half of the competition. The Hybrid diva's hand hovers over the mat, she doesn't want to tap, but her foot's about an inch or two away from kicking herself in the head, and for someone that's not naturally flexible, that's a strong tell tale sign that the pain may be too much.




[JR]
Kaitlyn's fighting the urge to tap, but how long can she fight through the pain?


[Michael Cole]
How long indeed, she's showing a lot of strong will power to resist tapping out right now.


[King]
Meanwhile Layla knows this could be her last opening to take this match for her own, so she's giving this submission every last bit of energy she has to keep it strong and keep it locked in.



Layla tries to pull even more, bending backwards closer to Kaitlyn and it's a mistake Kaitlyn needed! With Layla in her reach, she throws her elbow back cracking Layla across the side of the face, knocking her down to the mat, and freeing Kaitlyn from what was starting to look like the end! Kaitlyn holds her knee for a moment, grabbing the top rope with her other hand and gets to her feet. She shakes off the damage, it has taken a toll on her, but everyone knew going into this match it wouldn't be easy, so a little pain, or a lot, isn't going to bring her down. She backs up, setting herself against the corner, and we all know what's coming....she's going for the spear again, and this time Layla won't escape it so easily.




[Michael Cole]
Layla tried, but after getting cracked with that elbow, and Kaitlyn priming for the spear again, I think we're looking at our new number one contender.


[JR]
I hate to say it, but I feel like that's exactly what's about to happen. It's been an incredible match, but Layla's in no condition to continue.


[King]
A valiant effort, but that knee proved to be her undoing.



[Michael Cole]
Here it comes....

Layla's getting up....

Kaitlyn's getting on her mark, she's gonna put all the power she has into this....



Layla hobbles up to her feet, falling forward onto her hands, failing the first time, but her hands press against the mat, keeping her somewhat steady. She tries to push up, to stand up, but it's almost hard to watch....she's so determined to get back The Divas Championship that she's pushing herself past her limits, and you can see a slight look of concern on Kaitlyn's face as she watches Layla struggle to even stand up. They started this match, they've given it all they had, and then some....but Kaitlyn knows she wants this just as bad, if not more, so she has to do what she has to do. Layla succeeds in standing, the fans cheer, even though they know what's going to happen now that she has. Kaitlyn gets a head start, lunging forward like a lion on the hunt, Layla turns around, WHAM! Kaitlyn turns her inside out with a brutal spear! The fans cheer, but some remain silent, it's been a great match, the first ever for the division, but all good things must come to an end and we're at that point now.



She drops on top Layla, covering her....

Thr- LAYLA'S ARM POPS UP!



An enthusiastic crowd screams in excitement as Layla's hand flies into the air at the last possible millisecond! The referee's hand was as close to the mat as it could get with it being an official three count, and everyone is stunned by Layla's resilience.  



[JR]
GOOD GAWD ALMIGHTY SHE KICKED OUT!



[Michael Cole]
ARE YOU SURE?! HOW?!


[King]
Your guess is as good as anyone else's, Cole! I thought that was it, Layla couldn't even stand!



[JR]
We are witnessing history go down, the amazing will from both women, the final two will be remembered along with this match.


[Michael Cole]
Layla has left us all stunned, look at Kaitlyn....she can't believe it either!



Kaitlyn's eyes bulge out of their sockets, her jaw almost fallen to the floor, she was as convinced as everyone else that the match was over the second she hit that last spear, but still Layla refuses to give up! Kaitlyn has to rethink her entire strategy now, everyone else has fallen like pins when struck by that bowling ball like spear of hers....but Layla isn't going out so easily, the fact that she's endured everything and still lives to fight another minute more in this match has Kaitlyn flabbergasted. Kaitlyn looks down at Layla, she's not moved since she kicked out, she knows she has to do something big to end this, but what? Looking around here, she spots the top rope, where she delivered a superplex to Brie earlier, and that may be just what will finally put Layla down for good. She grabs Layla, she can't fight it, she throws a few weak elbows Kaitlyn's way, but she's hoisted across her shoulder, and carried over to the corner nearest to them.


[King]
What's she about to do?


[JR]
Apparently what she must do to beat Layla.


[Michael Cole]
But what is that?


[JR]
One last big move.


Kaitlyn sets Layla up on the top rope, seating her on it before stepping onto the bottom rope herself. She then takes a step up again, reaching the second, then takes a deep breath. The fans are all standing, this match is over within the next few minutes and they know it. But the question is will Layla somehow get back in this and make a comeback, or will this last move....seal the end of this match for the beautiful Brit? Kaitlyn grabs a handful of Layla's tights, throws her arm over her shoulder, then pauses for a second, exhausted. She's been in this match as long as Layla, and it's taken a lot out of her as well. She knows though that she can't rest for long, she's gotta end it as soon as she can, and with this superplex...she's going to do just that. She lifts Layla up off the top rope, holding her up for a second, delaying the superplex, showing off that incredible strength, making all the blood rush to Layla's head, then flings her over her shoulders! Frantically Layla does the only thing she can, scream, and wrap her hands around Kaitlyn's neck....SHE....She hooks her pulling her neck across her shoulder as she falls.....LAYOUT! They crash to the mat, Kaitlyn's neck bouncing off the shoulder of Layla in such a sickening way that she lies on the mat like dead weight on impact!




[Michael Cole]
OH MY! KAITLYN'S NECK JUST SNAPPED OFF THE SHOULDER OF LAYLA!


[JR]
BAH GAWD! LAYLA JUST BROKE KAITLYN IN HALF!


[King]
DID WE JUST SEE THAT?!


[Michael Cole]
HOW?! HOW DID SHE...THAT WAS THE BIGGEST LAYOUT I'VE EVER SEEN!



The crowd has erupted "THAT WAS AWESOME!" right away is the initial response, Layla falls backwards, lying across Kaitlyn's body....and the pin follows!

LAYLA WINS!

I don't know how she did it, but Layla just fought the match of her career, she would not give up, even when everyone else had written her off.


[Michael Cole]
If not for that Layout in such at such an unexpected time, I don't know if she'd have done it, but that just goes to show you the skill that Layla possesses.

[King]
She's come a long way, and now she's heading into November to Remember, after leaving us with a match we'll always remember tonight.


[JR]
Kaitlyn and Layla gave it their all, everyone in this match did, and I'd say well done women, you proved you were more than capable of doing what the guys can.



The fans are cheering, Layla's music blares through the arena, she's seated on the mat, tears rolling down her face, out of joy and most likely pain....but she persevered and she now has this victory to show for it. Six women entered this chamber, and she now is the last one standing. Although standing right now might be a little out of the question after the damage her knee took this entire time. The referee kneels down, placing his hand on her back, knowing how hard she fought and how she must be feeling, and helps her up to her knees which is half the battle. He then goes to check on Kaitlyn, and get some help in removing her. Layla's hands cup the side of her head, she's in amazement that she actually pulled through and has come out on top of this match, her emotions are all over the place, and it shows how much this really meant to her.









[Michael Cole]
You gotta appreciate what these women have left inside the ring tonight, they put on a classic.


[King]
Normally I don't find myself agreeing with you, but I must agree. The Divas division was thrown a curve ball with this match, but that last glass ceiling has finally been shattered.


[JR]
And history has once again been made, and what history it is. A match we'll never forget, and a winner that showed us if you want something bad enough, you can go through anything to achieve it.


The referee grabs Layla's arm, helping her stand fully now, and raises it in the air. Victory is the sight that has the fans cheering still, she smiles now, her tears drying, she's done it...she's won the first ever Elimination Chamber match to have women compete inside of it, and now she's the new number one contender to The Divas Championship.







[Michael Cole]
Whether it's Madison or Mickie, they've got one heck of a challenger awaiting them.


[JR]
You couldn't be more right, Cole.


[King]
I'm worried about the condition of Layla's knee, but after working so hard to win this, I know she doesn't care if her knee falls off, she's going to be Divas Champion again. It's her goal, it's what fueled her to this point, and come hell or high water, she'll do whatever she can to win that title.


Her hand is lowered, and although she's won, the wounds of war are impossible to ignore. She limps forward, still smiling, this is a moment of celebration, not of sadness. She won't let the damage that's been done spoil her night. Layla stumbles forward, getting closer to the corner, then plants the good leg on the second rope, before pulling herself up, and standing tall in victory.



The camera zooms out, giving us the money shot, Layla with her hand held high as the winner of this match, with the Elimination Chamber in full view above her. She conquered this challenge tonight, this historical first, and now she'll head into November to Remember, looking to conquer whoever she meets for The Divas Championship. With the fans cheering in the background, and the same view still upon us, we finally fade away to a graphic promoting the main-event between challenger Alberto Del Rio, and champion Christian.
