Kyle O'Reilly
I don’t really feel like talking, to be honest I don’t even want to be here standing in this building tonight. But I had to come out here because I got something, I want to get off my chest. Compared to other superstars in this company I’m quiet. I don’t come out here and run my mouth and call people out. Which is surprising because I am in a business which evolves around being a loud mouth and being an arrogant prick.

I am not a quiet person I just don’t run my mouth and speak BS like pretty much everyone in this industry. I see all these other wrestlers coming out here talking a bit of trash to others and there getting rewarded for it. By getting booked in big matches and #1 contenders matches. Title matches for talking a bit of shit. And then there’s me Kyle O’reilly the best godamm performer in XWL, not even getting a fucking match. I am sick of it; I am sick of being treated like I’m some worthless asshole. I’ve been a yes man ever since I came here, I never disagreed with management I did everything what was asked of me. And look what that got me, nothing, NOTHING.

Kyle O'Reilly

I am trying to stay calm, this morning I woke up and I was thinking you know what I’m going to come here today, go into Vince’s office and quit. But why should I quit, why should I be pushed out the door by the bullies in management like Vince McMahon. Why should I leave because that kiss ass Corey Graves is talking shit about me every time, I step in that ring but he’s sucking up to all these loud mouths that I’m talking about. Well with the amount of concussions Corey has, I am not surprised he doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Pointing at Corey

Corey if you ever speak bad about me again, I’ll come down to ringside axe kick you and give you another concussion, then you can fuck off out of here and do everyone a favor.

So, if I have to call everyone out to do something in this company, so be it. If anyone wants to throw down with the planet's best wrestler then come find me. We can do it here, in the locker-rooms, even in the car park.

Oh and Vince, fuck you.

The camera cuts to two hooded figures in the backstage area, standing in a dark corridor with their backs turned.

{Hooded Figure #1}
We have been waiting days, weeks, months… even years for our time in XWL.

{Hooded Figure #2}
For 10 years we have traveled the world chasing our dream, and now we have captured our dream.

{Hooded Figure #1}
And that dream is…

{Both Hooded Figures}
ICONIC!!

{Corey Graves}
Yes, Yes, Yes, 3000 times YES, Renee. They are finally here in XWL.

{Renee Young}
I’m just as excited as you are Corey, but which one did Vince sign to a wrestling contract? He only had one available spot to compete for!

{Corey Graves}
I’m not sure Renee, but something tells me we will find out on Anarchy this week.

A video package promoting the Main Event begins to play.

Following Mr. McMahon's address, and the graphic promoting The Wolrd Television Championship match we see none other than The Newly crowned #1 Contender to The Women's Championship Kairi Sane off to a secluded area of the backstage as she prepares for her upcoming match tonight. She may be just two weeks away from facing Tessa Blanchard in her first Women's Title Match but tonight is a big match in itself. She's one half of a Beat The Clock series and she'll be facing the newly dubbed "Man" Becky Lynch. She no doubt wants to emerge victorious to continue to prove that she's going to claim her treasure at International Incident. As she bends forward stretching herself for a no doubt tough match ahead...suddenly she sees someone in her peripheral vision. As with anyone in this predicament she starts to get on her guard. But as she starts to rise up, she quickly notices long blonde locks with pink on the ends. She looks up with a smile as Alexa greets her with an instant hug.

[Alexa Bliss]
Sorry to sneak up on you but I just wanted to wish you luck tonight. I know every match from now until your big showdown in Scotland is going to be important but I just wanted to stop by and make sure you're not going to let the pressure get the better of you. Which I guess is ironic since I fell to the pressure last week, so maybe I'm not the best person to be giving that advice. Actually, yeah...don't listen to me...last week was a disaster and I'm just glad that if I couldn't earn the right to challenge for a title I at least can pull out my old pom poms and cheer on my best friend who landed herself a Women's Championship Match!

Kairi Sane
You shouldn't beat yourself up after one loss, especially after you finally removed she who shall not be named from your life, both personally and professionally, at Final Stand. That's what should be celebrated, when you threw your fears into the wind and jumped off a ladder that was twice the size of us put together and used your version of the InSane Elbow to win the match for us. Not this loss that you suffered after you put your body on the line the night before. Many people wouldn't have been in the building after a match like we had, much less competed like we both did. You didn't win, so what? My first Championship match to crown the inaugural North American Champion in a Fatal 4 Way match. A match I would go on to lose after I had already lost our Trading Places Match earlier that night. Did I let those losses stop me? No. I would go on to form a lasting friendship with the person that beat me that night and we would both go on to steal the show at Final Stand. And just because you don't have a Championship Match at International Incident, it doesn't mean that you don't deserve one.

[Alexa Bliss]
I really appreciate that, Kairi. It's just, I waited so long for an opportunity like that to come my way, and I know I should be patient and believe that my hard work will be rewarded some day. But I had to wait a year to get that match, what if it's another year before I get another? I shouldn't be bothering you with this, I just don't know what's on the horizon for me and I hate that. When I saw we both had Number One Contender Matches last week I jumped for joy because the idea of us both being Champions together is like, so incredible. We could have gone through that journey of being Champion for the first time together, and all because I lost that's not going to happen.

You can tell Alexa's pretty beaten up about her loss, and Kairi feels for her, she knows how badly she's wanted an opportunity at a title and to go through what she did, and then be back at square one because of one loss, you know it's in no way an ideal scenario.

[Alexa Bliss]
Sorry, there I go again..let's not talk about that. Because while I won't be competing at International Incident, you are and that is why from now until then I will wave the flag of The Pirate Princess and proclaim to everyone that YOU are the next Women's Champion. Starting with my opponent tonight, The Champion herself Tessa Blanchard. I don't know what to expect from her, but I'm excited to get in that ring with a Champion and show the world that Alexa Bliss can go toe to toe with a Champ. I'm going to steer clear away from the announce table though.

Kairi Sane
I would keep my guard up if I were you. After experiencing first hand the lengths she'll go to for her message to be heard, I don't trust this “change of attitude” she claims to have undergone. Even if this change is genuine, that doesn't make her any less dangerous. We have both been in that ring against her as a team and even after Liv decided she didn't want to play nice anymore, she still proved to be quite the formidable opponent. We faced her two against one and it still took everything we had to put her down for the win. While I don't like her attitude, I admire her tenacity and her determination to win. Tonight you get the opportunity to avenge your loss to her in her debut almost a year ago. I'll be keeping a close eye on your match tonight and if she tries anything, know that I'll be out there to stop her.

[Alexa Bliss]
I mean, yes this newfound nicer attitude is "sudden" but...I mean mine wasn't exactly long and drawn out either. I think the fact she wants to continue on what Natalya built up is admirable, and I guess we'll see tonight if she's being genuine or trying to pretend to be something she's not. But back to you, what are your thoughts on this Beat The Clock deal? Seems like you and Mandy are pawns in their game, as they try to beat you as quickly as possible.

Kairi Sane
We saw what Becky's submission is capable of at Final Stand when she dislocated Asuka's arm but if she thinks she's going to use that on me to get a quick win, she has another thing coming. Becky isn't the only one with a submission in their repertoire, I've been known to be a submission expert of sorts so if she tries to use hers, I might have to use mine. In her head, she might think she has this won because she won at Final Stand, but so did we. Neither of us are at a hundred percent following that Last Team Standing Match but that doesn't mean that she automatically wins. Becky might think she's going to “Beat The Clock” but how can she do that when she won't be able to beat me? Tonight, I'm going to drive my elbow into “The Man's” heart then at International Incident, I will do the same to Tessa Blanchard and claim the treasure that is the Women's Championship as my own.

Alexa smiles proudly giving her a nod as if to say there's not a doubt in her mind about that. Kairi responds with a smile of her own heading off to go get ready for her match leaving Alexa herself to get ready as she's set to Host A Moment Of Bliss with her special guests TCSI in just a bit.

Anarchy’s pyro goes off, kicking off the second Anarchy following Final Stand 11! The fans in the arena are obviously excited to be here for tonight’s show, as the camera pans across many members of the XWL Universe, decked out in merchandise, ready to have a good night.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Ladies and gentlemen Anarchy is coming out you live here tonight from the Little Caesars Arena! I’m Mauro Ranallo, welcoming you to what is sure to be an exciting show here tonight, and let’s start by talking about what happened last week in our main event!

[Renee Young]
It seemed as if the Undisputed Era had reformed following the return of Adam Cole, at least until our main event, where he, along with Roderick Strong and newly debuted superstar Buddy Murphy viciously assaulted their former teammate Matt Sydal after his second successful intercontinental title defense in as many nights!

[Corey Graves]
Well the Undisputed Era certainly has reformed, just seemingly without XWL’s “Iron Man”. Tonight we see Matt Sydal face off against Shawn Michaels in non-title action, while Buddy Murphy tries to pick up his first victory in XWL against Finn Balor. We also see Roderick Strong pulling double duty, as he challenges for the Television Title in a triple threat also involving the recently returned Dolph Ziggler, and our reigning champion, Andrade. Not only that, but we will see him team up with Adam Cole to take on the Cut Throat Era! Speaking of which, last week we also saw the future of the tag division unfold right in front of our faces!

[Mauro Ranallo]
That’s right Corey, as last week Mr. Mcmahon made two monumental announcements in relation to the tag team division. The first being that as a result of their phenomenal match at Final Stand, tonight's main event will see a rematch between the Golden Lovers and the Trash City Stupid Idiots for the tag team championship!

[Renee Young]
But right after, Mr. Mcmahon also gave us our first official match for International Incident, as whoever wins in the main event here tonight will go on to defend that championship in Scotland against Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman of the Stygian Revolution! However, last week we also saw both Kota Ibushi and Kenny Omega defeat Strowman and Wyatt in singles matches, so you have to think that they not only do they have momentum heading into tonight’s main event, but if they win, they also have momentum toward International Incident!

[Mauro Ranallo]
We also saw huge moments for the women’s division last week, as two more matches for International Incident became set in stone through the process of two #1 contender matches. First, Mandy Rose was able to defeat both Alexa Bliss and Ember Moon to secure a North American Championship match against Shayna Baszler, followed by Kairi Sane defeating Rosemary to get a Women's Championship match challenging the new champion following Final Stand, Tessa Blanchard.

[Renee Young]
A match that would’ve seen Natalya invoke her rematch clause to try and get her championship back that she held the title for most of the last year, were it not for a despicable backstage attack leaving her in a severe condition, rendering the clause null and void. I know I am certainly not the only one wondering who in their right mind would do such a thing? Hopefully tonight we gain some more insight.

[Corey Graves]
Last night wasn’t all doom and gloom however, as we saw the return of bonafide legend, John Cena! Interrupting a speech by Cody, Cena questioned whether or not Cody’s brother and late father would approve of his actions as of late, leading an impassioned Cody to take out his frustrations on Cena. As a result, Mr. Mcmahon has booked the two men in a match-up tonight that is sure to be a can’t miss!

[Mauro Ranallo]
All that and much more here tonight, as the superstars of XWL continue to try and prove to Vince Mcmahon why they deserve to be placed in the Elimination Chamber match at this year’s Downpour. But starting things off, let’s talk about what happened this last week between the World Heavyweight Champion JBL, Aiden English, & Drew Mcintyre.

[Renee Young]
After winning the title from Aiden English at Final Stand 11 in brutal and horrifying fashion, JBL’s celebrations were cut short by an unexpected attack by a returning Drew Mcintyre. The next night JBL came out to the ring to try and call out Mcintyre, only for his words to instead be answered by the former champion, Aiden English.

[Corey Graves]
After Aiden English tried to make his case that he should not be ignored in the title picture despite his loss the night before, the two men engaged in a war of words that seemed like it wouldn’t end anytime soon, until Drew Mcintyre finally answered JBL’s call-out, but not quite in the fashion JBL would’ve like.

[Mauro Ranallo]
That’s right Corey, Drew Mcintyre choosing to appear up on the titantron rather than in the ring, addressing both the champion JBL and Aiden English, making bold claims about both men and disparaging them, before claiming he was “coming for the throne” and walking off. JBL quickly made his way backstage to try and find Mcintyre, and Aiden attempted to do as well.

[Renee Young]
However, Aiden found himself unable to also be in pursuit as a result of his neck injury suffered t Final Stand, as his doctors were forced to rush to his aid in what could not have been the experience Aiden English wanted out of that night.

[Corey Graves]
Listen Renee, Aiden chose to put himself in danger, chose to put himself in the ring with the world champion, despite his injuries, despite the warning from his doctors, despite nobody expecting him to be out there. And now, one week later, he’s competing in our opening match? Is he insane?

[Mauro Ranallo]
While I wouldn’t call Aiden insane, I do have to agree with Corey’s assessment to some extent. Aiden English is clearly still suffering from JBL’s barbaric final assault at Final Stand, and needs time to rest. Aiden’s efforts as of late may be valiant, but you have to wonder if it’s all worth it.

[Renee Young]
Listen, you all saw me at Final Stand, I believe in Aiden English! Like he said, he should not be ignored right now, despite his injuries. When he puts his mind to something, he can do it!

[Corey Graves]
Like beating JBL at Final Stand?

[Renee Young]
Corey, you saw what JBL did to him! His only other option in the moment was to literally die! How can you sit here and try to use that against him? He was pushed to a limit few superstars in this company have ever been!

Interrupting the commentators, Aiden English makes his way out from the back, marking the beginning of what should be a great episode of Anarchy. However, despite all the excitement in the arena, the man we see coming out from the back certainly can’t be described as excited. When Aiden English makes his way out from behind the curtain, he’s not bursting with energy, he’s not playing up to the crowd’s emotions, none of that. Aiden English makes his way from the back slowly, clearly in pain. His neck brace from last week is gone, but in its place is several scars left by JBL at Final Stand. It is clear by the expression on the face of Aiden English that he is determined to win here tonight, the question is whether his body has the power his will demands.

[Corey Graves]
This is exactly what I was talking about! Look at the pain Aiden English is still in! There’s absolutely no reason he should be putting himself out here for competition tonight, he’s making a major mistake! And when he loses, he’ll only have himself to blame!

Corey’s words echo through the households of everyone watching Anarchy from home. He may be a polarizing figure in XWL for manby of his opinions, but is he necessarily wrong in this case? Aiden English continues to try and prove his story isn’t over, that his ending has yet to be written. But sometimes the best stories are best left over, before they drag on and become embarrassing. Regardless, Aiden English makes his way into the ring and over to his corner, ready for his first match since Final Stand.

Out comes Aiden’s opponent for tonight, the ever charismatic, Velveteen Dream. The difference between their entrances is like night and day, as the Dream plays up to the crowd, utilizing all his star power to get the audience either eating out of the palm of his hand or to boo him. He smirks at the clearly hurt English, figuring putting an already injured man will be an easy task. He makes his way into the ring and to his own corner, as the referee rings the bell for this match to begin.

[JoJo Offerman]
The winner of this match….. Velveteen Dream!

The Dream rolls off of the body of Aiden English, raising up and getting his hand raised by the referee. He climbs to the turnbuckle, celebrating his victory over the former world champion.

[Corey Graves]
Velveteen Dream with an impressive win here tonight, certainly putting himself on Mr. Mcmahon’s radar for the Elimination Chamber match at Downpour!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Corey, you’re really going to call this impressive? Dream beat an injured man! What does that prove to Mr. Mcmahon? That he’s good at picking up the scraps?

[Corey Graves]
Mauro, Aiden has returned from his injuries! He’s a competing superstar! All that matters is that Velveteen Dream defeated a former World champion here tonight, regardless of whatever bad decisions said champion may have made!

As Velveteen Dream continues to celebrate, the camera shifts backstage. We can still hear the Dream’s theme, but we see Aiden’s two doctors form last week in the midst of an argument with Anarchy general manager Vince Mcmahon.

[Doctor 1]
Mr. Mcmahon, we explicitly told you that Aiden was nowhere near ready for competition here tonight, and yet you booked him in a match regardless of our medical advice!

[Doctor 2]
XWL will certainly be hearing from the legal department of our facility soon, just you wait!

[Mr. McMahon]
Gentlemen, gentlemen, please, there’s no need for legal action. We here at XWL followed your advice as much as could, but the fact of the matter is Aiden competing here tonight wasn’t my choice, it was his. Aiden English insisted that he be given a match here tonight at Anarchy, and we simply obliged with his wishes.

Upon hearing the news that Aiden specifically requested this match, both doctors look at each other in shock, before making a quick dash out of the office, likely to check on Aiden. As we return from the ring Velveteen Dream is no longer present, and his theme song fades out. All that’s left in the ring is Aiden English laying on the mat, looking up at the lights, breathing in and out. Before long, Aiden’s two doctors sprint down to the ring and begin checking up on Aiden. They begin to rise Aiden to his feet, only for Aiden to shove one of them away from him. The doctors are both clearly in shock, but oblige with Aiden’s silent request. Aiden English slowly makes his way out of the ring and up the ramp, as both doctors trail closely behind him. As he’s making his way up the ring the audience is applauding him, but whatever reason they have, Aiden English doesn’t seem to appreciate it. Is it sympathy? Aiden English has already made it clear he doesn’t want sympathy, despite the physical state he’s in. Is it congratulations on the fight he put up here tonight, despite the injury? But despite all that, Aiden English lost, yet again. Whatever it may be, Aiden simply looks down and shakes his head and makes his way backstage, as Anarchy goes to the first commercial break of the night.

Tonight's show has been jam-packed full of incredible moments and exciting content. From the start of the show which saw Mr. McMahon announce himself as The NEW General Manager, to the challenge he issued with that announcement. He told Superstars to step it up, with the promise of a huge opportunity to come at after International Incident...and we've seen Superstars do just that. Mandy Rose avenged her loss to Shayna Baszler at Final Stand by winning a Triple Threat Match to EARN her way into a rematch with her in 3 weeks at International Incident.

Recently returned Dolph Ziggler defeated the last minute substitution opponent in the returning Adam Cole to land himself in The Triple Threat Match for The World Television Championship next week. And the other challenger for Andrade's title would be Roderick Strong successfully defeating Chris Jericho to score his chance of bringing another piece of gold to The Undisputed Era.

Upon the unfortunate assault that's taken Natalya out of action for the foreseeable future, Kairi Sane stepped up in a tremendous way bringing the fight to Rosemary as they clashed for the newly vacant Number One Contendership. The Pirate Princess sailed away with the victory earning her spot against The New Women's Champion Tessa Blanchard in 3 weeks at International Incident.

But as the broadcast reaches its final segment, rather than being treated to an elaborate entrance for the upcoming defending Champion in The Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge that he personally requested...you see a rather irritated Matt Sydal sitting on the top turnbuckle, a golden mic in his hand as his Championship sits on his shoulder. An unexpected start to this, as he seemed perfectly fine when talking with his fellow Undisputed Era brothers earlier in the night. So we wonder what has him so suddenly irate.

[[Matt Sydal]]
Ladies and Gentlemen, the great people of New York who have supported me for years...who appreciate all of my hard work whether I'm Champion or not...people around the world tuning in excited for the upcoming Main-Event. I apologize deeply for the incoming "rant" but I need to get something off my chest. I want to head into this title defense of sound mind and free of any frustrations, and to do that...I need to speak my mind, and I need to sound off on what has me so damn fired up right now.

He leaps off the second rope landing on his feet as he walks to the center of the ring with purpose behind every step.

[[Matt Sydal]]
I understood a long time ago that being at the top comes at a cost, everything you do...is never enough for some people. You can be the hardest worker, and still someone's going to have an opinion of you that doesn't in ANY shape or form match up to the facts they are too stupid to see in front of them unlike everyone else. See, on the grandest stage of them all? I offered myself up, and my reign as Champion for tribute. I displayed a nerve that not a single Superstar back there has. I had 4 challengers that all wanted a piece of me, and rather than resolve it by a Number One Contenders Match...rather than cowering at the idea of facing ALL 4 of them...I proclaimed to the entire world that I would gladly defend my Intercontinental Championship in a Fatal 5 Way. But I didn't stop there, no...a show like the showcase of the immortals deserved everything I had to give. So when Chad Gable one half of TCSI The Guest General Managers that evening questioned my sanity to voluntarily compete in that situation I told him that not only was I sure of my decision but I wanted it to be A FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE ELIMINATION MATCH!

He looks at his Intercontinental Championship, pausing for a moment as the arena fills with cheers from people who damn sure respect what he was willing to go through and what he overcame to remain as Champion after all was said and done.

[[Matt Sydal]]
I do so, not because I was aiming to lose, but because I was aiming to attain one of the biggest victories anyone's ever had at Final Stand. And as the case more often than not with my promises...I sure as hell backed it up. It wasn't this disaster that saw everything go wrong...no when I set my sights to do something? I've proven that not only can I? But that I WILL! And do you know as incredible as the response from you has been to that victory? As amazing as it felt? There are members of this roster that are so jealous, so close-minded...so insecure with their own abilities or just plain BLIND...that they try to discredit the fruits of my labor. They would rather try to tear me down, to dissect everything I do or achieve...than give me the credit when it is damn well due. They have perceptions of me that quite honestly not only don't have a shred of merit, but I think I've shown that anyone who actually has their head too far up their ass to come to those very thoughts? Needs to start focusing on their own careers, and what THEY put forth instead of coming for Iron Man with their ineffective bullets.

You see the very visible frustration as he paces around the ring, trying to cool off but this topic itself seems to have him really riled up, but with anger and...maybe even disappointment that anyone could try to do that given how hard he works.

[[Matt Sydal]]
Tonight I planned to host an Open Challenge because I love defending this title, and it is the night after Final Stand...a special evening where we continue that rush of excitement and carry it over into the year to come. So I wanted to do it up big, to challenge myself YET AGAIN...to do what NO OTHER CHAMPION HAS EVER HAD TO, NOR TAKEN IT UPON THEMSELVES TO DO. To walk into the past 2 Pay-Per-Views, RETAIN IN A MULTIMAN MATCH WITH CONVOLUTED RULES THAT LITERALLY WORK AGAINST ME...AND THEN WALK INTO ANARCHY THE NEXT NIGHT AND DEFEND THEIR TITLE AGAIN!

Where's the lie? Where's the semblance of proof that suggests otherwise? He as he said not only defended his title at Breakthrough this year, BUT THEN LEGITIMATELY DID SO THE VERY NEXT EDITION OF ANARCHY. AND THEN, despite just retaining in a LEGITIMATE THREAT to his reign a Fatal 5 Way Elimination Falls Count Anywhere Match...here he is again the night after a Pay-Per-View to defend his title. A feat that not a single Champion Male or Female has ever done before him. Maybe they've done it once, but to do it TWO straight Pay-Per-Views? No one has ever been so bold or courageous.

[[Matt Sydal]]
But earlier tonight I had a certain interaction with someone that really frustrated me. They see things from the outside and think "Oh there's more to this." No, actually...I'm just THAT GOLD DAMN GOOD THAT I CAN COME OUT HERE NIGHT AFTER NIGHT AND DEFEND WHAT I EARNED, AND WHAT I CONTINUE TO EARN! Bottom line is, if you don't think this reign is "legit?" If you think I've just been "lucky?" You're blind, you're stupid, your opinion doesn't matter and it will NOT make me give up just because it hurts my feelings. So tonight, instead of this being in dedication to this title, and what it represents, what every Champion before me has made it represent, and what I fight every time it is on the line to represent...I dedicate this to the one asshole back there that tried to spoil my night and diminish what I've achieved since becoming Intercontinental Champion!

While we don't know what the incident in question is, fans rally right behind him chanting "IRON MAN!" in response. Because hey, some of us surely know how that feels right? To work hard, to strive for perfection to really put our all into something only for someone to come along and discredit that. He removes the title from his shoulder then clutches it within his hand and stares at it. He eyes remain fixated on the title for several seconds until his anger over things slowly dissipates and he flashes his first smile we've seen since he came out here.

[[Matt Sydal]]
But that's okay, because after I leave this arena STILL Champion? I can't wait to shine my title up with their tears!

Once more the audience responds with a loud "pop!" as he makes a motion as if he were wiping away a tear then pats his title on it's plate and hoists it into the air for all to see.

[[Matt Sydal]]
With that said, The Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge is now OPEN! So, who wants to go Iron for Iron and tear the house down with me tonight?

He tosses his mic down to the mat, kicking it out of the ring, then backs up towards the ropes as he eagerly awaits his challenger.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I don't know who ticked him off but it's clear Matt Sydal looks to prove a point with tonight's Open Challenge.

[Renee Young]
I don't know who was foolish enough to try and discredit him? But you're going to have to look far and wide to find anything of the sort because as of late especially? He's gone above and beyond, and BEYOND that to leave no shadow of a doubt why he is Champion, and continues to remain that way.

[Corey Graves]
I'm not exactly a fan of his crowd loving side, and his entrances can be a bit much for me to sit through...but when it comes to competition? And the lengths he's gone to unlike any other Champion before...it's baffling that someone can try to die on that cross. Like, he's defending his title two straight pay-per-views and the Anarchy DIRECTLY AFTER. I think its stupid, and it's gonna result in him losing tonight, but those are the actions of a man that's really giving this reign everything he has.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I suppose the question moving on from that, is who do you think is going to accept his Open Challenge?

There isn't an immediate answer, perhaps there's pushing and shoving backstage to be the one to go through the curtain, or maybe people are afraid they'll end up like the other 6 men that have failed to dethrone him thus far. He still waits patiently, as the fans eagerly wonder who it's going to be.

The reaction from the crowd is… questionable to say the least. Most of the crowd was silent and confused while there were some out there - more hardcore XWL fans who followed the men and women of the developmental program - who recognized this superstar’s name. Buddy Murphy. Australian born superstar who’s spent the last six years honing his craft and training to be a better wrestler in the XWL Performance Center. He has never had a match on Anarchy. He has never even been seen on XWL programming before this moment. The open challenge was laid out to anyone backstage and he was ready to step up to the Intercontinental Champion. One match in and he has gold in his sight.

[Corey Graves]
I take back everything I said about Matt Sydal losing tonight. I give credit where credit is due and I applaud this man for stepping up to the challenge but… but you’ve got to be kidding me, right? I understand wanting to make an impact and making a name for yourself but as a wrestler with no main roster experience to step up to a wrestler of Matt Sydal’s expertise is basically career suicide.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I’ve seen Buddy Murphy training down at the Performance Center numerous times and I’m not going to count him out just yet. He’s a tremendous athlete who’s capable of incredible things inside of that ring. He’s got this hybrid style which I could only describe as the speed of Matt Sydal and the strength of Cesaro. He’s got more confidence than a lot of people in his position would.

Murphy enters from behind the curtain and he’s ready. He’s pumped up. He’s ready to take the world by storm and make sure no one knows who he is. A large than life challenge stood in front of him but that didn’t seem to phase the man in the least. He points to himself and shouts quick little things like ‘this is my moment!’ to himself until he gets close to the top of the stage where they ramp would begin. Murphy stomps his feet onto the floor and then raises a finger into the air. He brings it down to his lips and you could only assume he makes a ‘shh’ noise with it before curling that finger back into a ball and throwing a fist out in front of him which begins his stride down the ramp.

[Renee Young]
Hey Mauro, you seem to know a lot about Buddy Murphy. I see ‘Best Kept Secret’ written on the side of his gear. What’s that all about?

[Mauro Ranallo]
I don’t know exactly but I can only assume that’s some sort of montra that he’s come up with. Maybe he views himself as the company’s best-kept secret. Maybe he thinks he’s so good but no one realizes it yet. I’m not so sure.

Buddy continues down the ramp, pandering to the crowd, and slapping a few hands that are extended by eager fans. Upon reaching the end of the ramp, you can see the Australian born star really taking all of this in. The bright lights. The thousands of fan who were eager to see what he brought to the table. Arguably the greatest superstar in the history of XWL was standing in the ring, Intercontinental Championship on his shoulder, waiting for him to step up to the challenge. Twelve years of blood, sweat, and tears have led up to this very moment. His entrance into the ring was very unique. Murphy didn’t climb up the steel steps. He didn’t even hop onto the apron. Murphy charges at the turnbuckle, slides beneath the bottom rope, brings his feet forward and ends up on the side of the apron closest to the hard camera. He takes a glance back at the so-called ‘Iron Man’ of this company and smirks at him.

[Corey Graves]
I don’t know if the two of you know this but sometimes it’s better to keep things a secret then to reveal them to everyone. I think Buddy Murphy should’ve stayed in the back and let someone else accept the challenge. Why not someone like Elias or Eli Drake? Someone who actually had a match at Final Stand and won! They are the ones deserving of a chance to dethrone Matt Sydal.

Murphy stands on the apron with his arms spread out wide - yet another moment of taking everything in. This business was unpredictable sometimes. He may never have another chance like this. He could suffer an injury and never be able to step into the ring again during this match. He could get into a car accident on his way back to his hotel. There was no guarantee Murphy was going to be getting an opportunity like this.

[Renee Young]
Whether he wins or loses this match, Buddy Murphy has the chance to make a star out of himself tonight. The pressure is on and we’ll get to see if he crumbles beneath it or becomes a diamond. If he’s as good as you think is he, Mauro, then I’m sure we could very well have a star in the making after tonight. Win or lose, this is without a doubt the biggest match of his career so far.

Buddy turns and enters the ring, stepping over the middle rope, and stands across from the Intercontinental Champion. Buddy still has a smile on his face as he makes a gesture at the champion. His hands motioning around his waist to show that he was ready to take that championship away from him… but before that happens, Murphy asks for a microphone from one of the crew members at ringside. His theme song begins to slowly fade away into silence as Murphy steps closer towards the center of the ring again. His attention on Matt Sydal and the Intercontinental Championship the entire time. Now that the music has gone away, the fans began to use their voice again. A loud ‘Iron Man!’ chant begins to echo throughout the arena which didn’t seem to surprise the Best Kept Secret. Of course, he wasn’t walking into an arena where the fans were prepared to support him. They didn’t even know who he was. He hoped that would change after tonight. Clearing his throat, Murphy brought the microphone up and began to speak. His Australian tone was obvious as the words slipped past his lips and were picked up by the microphone.

[BUDDY MURPHY]
Look. I’m just going to get straight to the point because I don’t want to waste any more time. These fans came to see an amazing performance and that’s exactly what I plan on giving them. Matt Sydal, Mister Midas Touch himself, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Buddy Murphy and I am the greatest superstar that you have never witnessed. Now, I hope there’s not going to be any hard feelings when I take that Intercontinental Championship from you… because that’s exactly what I plan on doing.

Confidence leaked from the pores of the Australian born superstar as he tosses his microphone to the outside of the ring and extends a hand towards the Intercontinental Champion. Matt eyes him up and down, before accept his display of respect and shaking his hand. The two stare intently at one another before their hands pull away, and Sydal passes his title off to the referee ready to start this match.

[Mauro Ranallo]
If I didn't see it with my own two eyes I wouldn't believe it...but Matt Sydal after a physically taxing defense on the grandest stage of them all, just SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED HIS TITLE AGAIN RIGHT HERE IN OUR MAIN-EVENT!

[Renee Young]
A tremendous effort from Buddy Murphy, but let's face it...Matt Sydal is on a roll unlike any other right now, it may not have mattered who walked down that ramp to accept his challenge because he is just performing at such a high level.

[Corey Graves]
I called it a stupid decision to willingly defend his title here tonight, and it still is...but now I feel almost stupid for believing that would affect his ability to defend his title. I don't know how he does it, how he can be so reckless yet successful...but at this point I feel like the only explanation is he like you said Renee is performing at a level that most of the roster just can't seem to match.

The audience is on their feet, screaming as loud as their lungs will allow, excited and happy by not only the match they just saw close out tonight's show but the outcome which has seen Matt Sydal AGAIN victorious as he remains Intercontinental Champion. With exhaustion all over his face, Matt is handed back The Intercontinental Championship and the official raises his hand signifying him as the winner of this match.

You can tell he's hurting, he's obviously proud and happy to be able to boldly issue this challenge and put down the man that walked down that ramp. But the usual bravado he exudes is a bit difficult for him to display, this is a man that at Final Stand leaped from the top rope to the outside with a Golden Star Press through the announce table. There's no way his ribs were one hundred percent after that, and yet still he walked into this building tonight to issue an Open Challenge to test himself once again because that is how much he loves being Champion, to be able to square off with the best and BEAT them. Before tonight Buddy Murphy may have been some promising talent in the developmental system, but even in defeat we saw how hard he pushed Matt. We saw a combination of talent and grit that back up his "Best Kept Secret" moniker. This was his chance to make it big in his debut, and while he didn't win. As he lies on the mat visibly frustrated with himself, we saw someone that has the tools to one day be a Champion even if that night was not tonight.

[Mauro Ranallo]
The Golden Avenger reigns victorious the night after Final Stand, with his second back to back defense...and honestly anyone that doesn't "buy into the hype" needs to take a long look at his resume as of late. Don't even look at what he did years ago, look at where he is at this very moment. He has reigned for 121 days, and with 6 defenses under his belt, 4 of those now being at a Pay-Per-View and then directly on the next episode of Anarchy...there's no "luck" involved this is heart and talent plain and simple.

[Corey Graves]
This is a man who defeated Eli Drake & Drew McIntyre in the first ever Triple Threat 60 MINUTE IRON MAN MATCH...a match where NEITHER OF THEM SCORED A PINFALL ON HIM! Just when you think he can't top himself with that first defense, he defends at Final Stand in a Fatal 5 Way Falls Count Anywhere Elimination Match. When the pressure is on, he delivers...that's as of now an undisputed fact.

[Renee Young]
Congratulations are in order to The Golden One, The Iron Man of XWL, THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION!

[Mauro Ranallo]
And of course better luck next time Buddy Murphy, but you have nothing to be ashamed of young man.

With his celebration waging on, suddenly Adam Cole & Roderick Strong slide into the ring placing both hands on Matt's back with bright smiles on their faces. "HE DOES IT AGAIN!" Roderick quips, as Adam shouts "WAS THERE EVER ANY DOUBT?! THIS WHAT THE UNDISPUTED ERA DOES!" They pull Matt in for a group hug, continuing to express how proud they are of him. Tonight they regrouped with the return of Adam Cole from his injury, and their sights are clearly set on taking over. Matt's holding down his end of things by continually retaining his title, and judging by their discussion earlier they have his support as they look to mirror his success with their own title conquests.

[Mauro Ranallo]
The Undisputed Era may have lost some members along the way due to the unpredictability of this business and unfortunate injuries...but I see a fire within Adam Cole & Roderick Strong that almost has been ignited by Matt's example he sets every single week. They see how he's rising to the occasion and with their brotherhood they are inspired to do the same. To let the whole world know what The Undisputed Era is.

[Corey Graves]
It hasn't been an overnight success, I think maybe they got ahead of themselves when they first burst onto the scene after their tremendous showing at last year's Final Stand. But you're right I do see a newfound motivation within the two of them.

[Renee Young]
I think the struggles they've had to overcome kind of shows how they are very similar to Matt. They are willing to fight for what they want, to prove they are the best, and with Mr. McMahon proclaiming tonight as a new day in XWL...I believe they see this as their sort of blank slate to use the lessons they've learned over the past year and make good on their promises.

They see how physically spent Matt is, so immediately they pull away from the hug and each support him by throwing both of his arms over their shoulders. With their assistance they escort him over to the ropes and then still trying to give him stability, they step out onto the apron and help him follow suit. Matt gave everything he had tonight to remain Champion, and he couldn't have had much left after his defense at Final Stand. So yes he's not in the best condition right now but any ache, any pain, any disorientation from exhaustion is numbed by the sight of The Intercontinental Championship as it hangs from his hand. Roderick & Adam rest Matt against the ropes on the apron then hop down to the floor. Slowly they help him lower himself back into their waiting arms once again giving him a supportive pat on his back as they mouth "We've got you." But as they start to walk toward the ramp, the fans still cheering proudly for the successful Champion...they suddenly stop and begin to shake their heads. Before Matt even knows what's going on Cole & Strong slightly kneel down, grabbing Matt from under his legs and hoisting him onto their shoulders. "YOU JUST DEFENDED YOUR TITLE BACK TO BACK NIGHTS, YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO RUN LAPS AROUND THIS ARENA BUT THAT'S WHAT WE'RE FOR!" Roderick & Adam as that's shouted turn away from the ramp way and begin to parade him around as the fans loudly shout "IRON MAN!"

[Renee Young]
Nothing like a couple of friends to help you celebrate in style.

[Corey Graves]
I mean personally I think he needs a doctor, and maybe a couple gallons of water more than a celebration...but hey, he earned it so I'm not going to object.

[Mauro Ranallo]
This right here is part of what makes The Undisputed Era a collective unit. They support one another, they believe in one another, and a victory for one of them is a victory for all  of them.

Though his arms are heavy, he finds enough strength to grip The Intercontinental Championship with both hands raising it into the air as his brother run him around the ringside area. You see the elation on their faces, how proud they are of him, and you can see that Matt's appreciative of what they're doing for him right now. He loves to celebrate, and do it up big...but realistically speaking there's not a single part of him that could run a lap around the outside of the ring, much less more than a step or two. They pass by the announce table as the echoes of "IRON MAN!" chants remain strong from the fans here in Buffalo New York. Matt continues to proudly hold his title up almost feeling reinvigorated by the chants and cheers, coupled with the assistance from his Undisputed Era brethren.

[Renee Young]
I think tonight has reminded us what it looks like to see Superstars truly supporting one another. You saw Alexa Bliss rush out here to celebrate Kairi Sane's victory in becoming #1 contender to The Women's Championship. Now The Undisputed Era came out here to celebrate Matt's successful defense as Intercontinental Champion. It's a rarity in this business, but true bonds do exist and it reminds us that people in that locker room can be happy and proud of each other's success. it doesn't have to be so hostile all the time.

[Mauro Ranallo]
To that point you're exactly right. I mean these are men who when Matt Sydal was fighting for his freedom banded by his side to go to war with him against The Cabinet. They put their desires to the sidelines because Matt was being screwed with and they respected him and what he had accomplished too much to let his career end like that.

[Corey Graves]
And we've seen Matt anytime any of his brothers have had an opportunity try to payback that support rooting them on even if they weren't successful in their efforts. I don't know if their era collectively is "undisputed" right now...but I will say their brotherhood certainly is.

The Undisputed Era turns the corner passing by the ring post their celebratory lap holding strong, they don't even look winded so hey maybe they'll take another lap? After all, this is the final segment scheduled for tonight's show, there's nothing stopping them from celebrating as long as they want, and the fans still seem as excited and happy by the outcome of the Main-Event so they don't seem to be ready to end this celebration any time soon. The camera pans in on Matt as he's carried around, you see a smile appear on his face he's still beat to holy hell, barely able to function but he's got enough left in him to grin and bear the pain so that our final sight can see our Intercontinental Champion smiling as he raises his title, as his Undisputed Era brothers carry him around. It was an incredible show, new contenders were crowned, some unfortunate things happened like the untimely assault of Natalya, but through that horrible moment was exciting content and great matches that really set the tone for what we can expect in the coming weeks. Who will continue to stake their claims next week? What opportunities await the hungry Superstars in the back that want to become Champion? What is the fate of The World Television Champion as Andrade Cien Almas defends in a Triple Threat Match next week? It was the night after Final Stand, and boy did it live up to it's reputation. Capping the night off with a great match between an up and comer and one of the best Superstars going today. Buddy may not have won, but he earned the respect of The XWL Universe for coming out here and giving it his best shot. The Anarchy logo appears on the bottom right corner of the screen signaling that Mr. McMahon has decided this is where we leave things, and so for us at home the show's over but for The KeyBank Center? This celebration's far from over. The last sight we see is Adam Cole & Roderick Strong passing by the hard camera side of the ring as BUDDY MURPHY SOARS OVER THE TOP ROPE WITH A SUICIDE DIVE WITH HEIGHT...BARRELING THROUGH MATT SYDAL WITH SUCH FORCE HE BACKFLIPS OFF OF HIS BROTHER'S SHOULDERS AND TAKES AN UNCEREMONIOUS SPILL OVER THE BARRICADE AND INTO THE AUDIENCE!

[Renee Young]
WHAT THE HELL?!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Uh...

[Corey Graves]
Did I just see Buddy Murphy clear that top rope, and literally hit Matt like a cannon ball causing him to BACKFLIP...off Roderick & Adam's shoulders and get launched into the crowd? WHAT?!

[Mauro Ranallo]
I don’t know what Buddy is hoping to accomplish. I told you all that he was an incredible athlete and he might’ve taken out one member of the Undisputed Era with that but there’s still two more of them standing on their feet.

The crowd was still shocked at what they had just witnessed. Some fans had fallen from their seats after the Intercontinental Champion fell on top of them. Buddy Murphy grabs the barricade and uses it to pull himself up. His eyes glance over the barricade and see Sydal laying in the crowd in a position that could only be described as uncomfortable. He was proud of his work and he laughed at it… but that laughter would quickly vanish as he turned around to see Roderick Strong and Adam Cole still on their own two feet. Both of them just as shocked as the crowd was, but the both of them were ready to defend their fearless leader. Fists clenched into tight balls and their knuckles were turning a shade of red. Murphy had thrown his hands out in front of him to try and calm the two Undisputed Era members down.

[Renee Young]
I cannot help but feel like Buddy Murphy didn’t think this through. He acted on emotion after that loss had gotten the best of him. He’s about to be introduced to the main roster in a very hard way. Anything Cole and Strong are about to do to him is totally justified as far as I’m concerned.

Roderick Strong looks over at Adam Cole and the two of them trade some words - almost as if they were considering sparing the man rather than embarrassing in front of the XWL fans. Adam Cole shakes his head and makes the decision for the two of them. ‘He doesn’t deserve to be spared’ was the general feeling between the two of them. Buddy is basically begging for the men to consider their actions and let him go. The fear in his eyes was visible and you almost wanted to feel bad for the Australian born superstar.

[Corey Graves]
Go on! Hit him right in the face!

Cole clenches fist a little tighter and he swings at Murphy!

But Adam Cole stops right before his fist hits Murphy’s face!

[Renee Young]
What’s going on here? Why did he stop?

Everything becomes so much more confusing. The anger that was on the face of Adam Cole fades away. The fear on the face of Buddy Murphy is seemingly gone as well. Cole’s hand which was once a fist has uncurled and it looks like he’s offering his hand to the man who failed to capture the Intercontinental Champion. Roderick Strong is confused now. He pushes his way in front of Adam and questions him. ‘What the hell are you doing!?’ he shouts at him and pushes him back a step. Strong turns around and now he goes to punch Murphy! Murphy clenches his eyes and goes to block the hit…

Roderick Strong is the one who pulls his punch and doesn’t hit Murphy now!

Murphy looks relieved that Strong decided not to go through with the attack… but then he began to laugh. Fans sitting close to the action were confused as Murphy started to move his arms. One hand moving up with his index and pinky finger up, the other moving from the side with it’s index and pinky fingers out and his middle and ring finger kept close together, and his fingers forming a familiar set of letter. The letter U and the letter E.

[Mauro Ranallo]
That’s the Undisputed Era sign he’s holding up!

Murphy shouts at the men a statement, ‘remember the plan, mates,’ which they nod their head to him. Matt Sydal was starting to come to his senses now and he was beginning to pull himself up on the other side of the barricade. Buddy turns and takes a few steps back and Cole and Strong allow him to. Instead, their focus was on the Intercontinental Champion. Sydal shakes his head and blinks a couple of times once he sees his men standing side-by-side with the man who just attacked him out of nowhere. He almost had to rub his eyes because his vision had to be deceiving him. Why were his stable mates just standing there and not helping him? Why were his ‘friends’ not attacking Buddy Murphy for attacking him? What is going on here? Those had to be the questions rushing through the champion’s head as he held his hand against it. There was a good chance he bumped his head off one of the chairs that a fan sat in. Murphy stands with a smirk on his face… AND THEN HE CHARGES AT SYDAL AND LOOKS TO HIT HIM WITH AN ELBOW! Despite being behind the barricade, Sydal is able to defend the attack and knock Murphy back but he wasn’t expecting to be hit with a superkick across his jaw from Adam Cole! Sydal begins to fall back down but Strong rushes the barricade and stops him. Strong pulls Matt Sydal from the crowd and back onto the floor of the arena next to the ring. Sydal doesn’t even get a chance to relax before Strong and Cole both begin to stomp on the leader of the Undisputed Era! The crowd bursts into the boos as they’re realizing what’s going on here. Undisputed Era has turned on their leader. Undisputed Era has turned on Matt Sydal!

[Corey Graves]
I take back everything I said about this brotherhood. I take back every word. The bond between Cole and Strong seems undisputed but I can’t say the same about them and our Intercontinental Champion. What the hell is happening? Was this a premeditated assault?

[Mauro Ranallo]
Buddy Murphy has joined Adam Cole and Roderick Strong and the three men are stomping a mudhole on Matt Sydal. None of them are giving the man a chance to defend himself. He’s like a sheep being mauled by a pack of wolves.

[Renee Young]
This is disgusting! Matt Sydal viewed these men as brothers and now… now they’re just assaulting him at ringside. How low can you seriously get?

It was Murphy who made the call for them to stop. His hand against the other mens’ chest to get them to back up a step. ‘I’ll get him in the ring. You two get chairs.’ was said and Cole and Strong both seem on board with the plan. Murphy begins to pick Sydal up so that he can throw him into the ring while Cole and Strong each move to a side of the ring, lift the apron, and pull out steel chairs from beneath the ring. This once again causes the crowd to boo. All three men climb up onto the apron, two of them with steel chairs, and they watched as the champion struggled. The champion crawled to the ropes to use them to help him to his feet but when he got there, he was at the feet of Roderick Strong. Matt looks up at his ‘friend’ and asks him ‘what the hell are you doing?’ to which Strong only replies with a shake of his head. A chair shot to the back echoes throughout the arena as Adam Cole slams the chair into Sydal’s back. A pain filled yell is heard from the front row to the cheap seats all the way up in the upper sections of the arena as Sydal falls back to the ground again. The crowd continues to boo the holy hell out of these three men - Murphy and Strong finally entering the ring and joining Adam Cole. Adam points to Strong and suggests that he takes a swing at the human punching bag which lied on the ground. Roderick wasn’t about to say no. In fact, he seemed rather eager. He took his chair into his two hands, lifted it high above his head, and then brought it down and slammed it against the back of the Intercontinental Champion. The sound mixed with the yell from Sydal echoed throughout the arena a second time.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Mama mia, his is uncalled for. This had to have been premeditated! My only question is why? What drove Cole and Strong to turn their back on Sydal like this? If they didn’t like how Matt Sydal was leading the stable then they could’ve sat down and discussed things to make for a better Undisputed Era.

[Corey Graves]
I don’t think these men have any desire to talk about their problems. These men want to hurt the Golden One. What makes this worse is these so-called friends acted like they were friends earlier tonight. They spoke highly of one another. They seemed like a unit. It was a lie. It was a sham. We were fooled.

[Renee Young]
I’ve obviously never stepped foot inside a wrestling ring but I can only imagine that having your friends stab you in the back is one of the worst feelings in the world. I’ve had friends who’ve done me dirty but never have they kicked me in the face, stomped on me and beat me up with steel chairs.

The beating continued with another couple chair shots sent crashing into Matt Sydal’s back - each one a little harder than the last. Right before Roderick Strong went to swing the chair one more time, Murphy stepped in and said that he’s had enough. Buddy, as confident as ever, strolled to the upper body of Sydal and reached down and grabbed him by his hair. He would forced the champion to get up onto his knees. His hand let go of his hair and gripped his chin and forced him to look at the Best Kept Secret. Murphy squatted down and shouted words right into the face of Sydal. ‘You had this coming, mate!’ he spits the words at him before stepping back. His attention lifting to Adam Cole and Murphy gives Adam the nod of his head. It was almost like he was giving him the approval to go ahead with what he had in mind. Matt Sydal was on his knees in perfect position for Cole to come running up from behind to hit a shining wizard to the back of his head - the Last Shot sending Sydal back to the mat. Roderick Strong hardly gives Sydal a chance to take in the impact before he wraps his arm around his neck and pulls him up. He lifts him up in a suplex position and then follows it through by dropping Sydal back first onto his knees connecting with the End of Heartache.

[Renee Young]
This is uncalled for! He’s not even able to defend himself anymore.

You could probably figure out what was going to come next. It was the Australian’s turn to really send the message to Matt Sydal. Murphy once again forces the Intercontinental Champion to his feet and he hooks up and under his arm and around his neck while the other goes between his legs. Sydal is lifted and Murphy spins him out in midair and brings him down to connect with Murphy’s Law! We saw Murphy hit that move earlier in the match when the two of them were battling on the outside of the ring but this time, he hits it dead center and it’d be a three count if the match wasn’t already over. These three men seem incredibly satisfied with their work against Matt Sydal. They stand above him and even though Buddy Murphy didn’t win, he’s going to be the one who’s walking out on his own two feet. Matt Sydal on the other hand might need some assistance on his way backstage. Roderick Strong takes a few steps forward and drops to his knees and does his signature pose with his arms spread wide. Adam Cole throws his arms up to the air, index and middle finger pointing up to the air while shouting ‘ADAM COLE BAY BAY’ as loud as he possibly could. Murphy looks to be about to hit his signature pose with his index finger pressed to his lip… but he stops himself. He catches glimpse of something down where Matt Sydal laid. The Australian leans down and grabs his arm and begins to rip the Undisputed Era armband from off Sydal’s arm! It garners yet another loud boo from the crowd.

[Corey Graves]
Undisputed Era looks to be alive and well but going forward, I think it’s safe to say we’re not going to be seeing Matt Sydal associated with them anymore. He’s been officially removed from the group and been replaced.

The armband has successfully been removed and therefore, removing Matt Sydal from the group in the process. Murphy stares at the armband for a moment before he slowly begins to slide it onto his arm now. It was symbolic in a way. Almost like Matt Sydal was being replaced in the group by this younger, hungrier star who was ready for his moment. To a chorus of boos from the fan, Murphy brings his index finger up to his lips, the Best Kept Secret striking his pose with his new found stablemates in the Undisputed Era.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I’ve witnessed a lot of betrayals and shocking turn of events during my time as a commentator but that was… unexpected, truly. They started the night acting like they were the best of friends who’d always have each others back… yet that was all a part of the plan to strike when Matt Sydal was least expecting it. We are starting a new calendar year for XWL and I think Buddy Murphy and the Undisputed Era have so far made the biggest impact this year.

[Renee Young]
I want answers and I want them now! I want to know why this happened and how it came into fruition… but I suppose we’ll hopefully get those answers next week when Roderick Strong also challenges for the World Television Championship against Dolph Ziggler and Andrade Cien Almas. That’s a match I’m looking forward to and I’m sure Murphy and Cole will be cheering Strong onwards to victory. I cannot say the same about Matt. Not anymore.

[Corey Graves]
I would love nothing more than for Matt Sydal to take a week off and give these men some room to explain themselves, but of course, we know that’s not going to happen. You can knock the Iron Man down but there’s no keeping him down.

[Mauro Ranallo]
That’s all for tonight, Ladies and Gentleman. I wish I could say we were ending on a more positive note but as you saw, that was a pretty rotten and disgusting way to end the season premiere edition of Anarchy. Stay tuned next week for another action packed episode of Anarchy where championships will be on the line, Mr. McMahon will continue to run the show at the helm, and actions will be explained. Until next time, we wish you all a good night.

[Corey Graves]
HALLELUJAH!!

[Renee Young]
Would you please sit back down, Corey.

[Corey Graves]
Not on yours or anyone else's life but Mandy's, Renee! There are only a few situations in life where you find yourself incapable of remaining seated. When the Steelers win the Super Bowl, when you win the lottery, and most importantly... WHEN MANDY ROSE EARNS HERSELF A NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP OPPORTUNITY!

[Renee Young]
You mean she earned herself another opportunity for Shayna Baszler to stomp her lights out?

[Corey Graves]
DON'T YOU DARE EVEN MENTION HER NAME HERE, RENEE! Do you have ANY respect? This is Mandy's moment, and at International Incident she's going to END Shayna Baszler's Championship reign once and for all!

The bell chimes, finalizing the contest as Mandy catches her breath and pulls herself up to her feet. The Golden Goddess places her hand over her heart, almost laughing in relief of her victory, and renewed contendership for Shayna Baszler's North American Championship.

[Jojo]
Here is your winner, and the Number One Contender for the North American Championship... Mandy, ROSE!

Mandy was so elated by her win and by discrediting all of her doubters who claimed she was only handed her title matches, that on her way out of the ring she stops on the steel stairs and holds her hands out in glory.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Regardless of how you feel about her Renee, Mandy Rose definitely silenced more than a few of her doubters tonight with this win, proving that her opportunities in XWL are not purely just results of her questionable relationship with Vince McMahon.

[Renee Young]
Of course, and I'll give credit where credit is due. Mandy Rose was extremely impressive tonight and I'd think that Ember Moon and Alexa Bliss have no choice but to agree with that statement, but we can't forget that Mandy has already had a shot at Shayna's North American Championship two times in a row now, which have both resulted in a disqualification or a loss on the Golden Goddess's end. Although Mandy came out on top here tonight, I think that Shayna has shown us time and time again that she's consistently dominant, and I don't see it going any other way at International Incident.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I'd argue that perhaps Rose will manage to use her experience in the ring with Baszler to her advantage at International Incident, and possibly secure her first Championship in XWL. Her victory tonight in this battle of the Goddesses could be the much needed momentum that she's been missing all along.

[Corey Graves]
The only thing Mandy is missing is that North American Championship, and sooner rather than later, it'll be resting on her beautiful shoulder! Are your minds even capable of fathoming how exquisite that title is going to look on God's Greatest Creation, Mandy Rose? Personally I don't think I've ever been jealous of a belt before, until now!

[Renee Young]
Sheesh... Let's not get too ahead of ourselves there, Corey.

God's Greatest Creation basks in boos of the crowd, but more importantly her victory as she shouts out to the men, women, and children in the front row:

And THAT'S WHY I'M the Number One Contender!... You're looking at the next North American Champion, right here, so get your close-up!

The "Goddess" and the "War Goddess..?" I DON'T THINK SO! The Golden Goddess is the only goddess you need, people!

Rose continues her celebration atop the steel steps while she flaunts her success here tonight, and feeds off of the disdain of the fans. Moments later, the camera fade to black as we cut to commercial break before our next scheduled segment.

The referee calls for the bell, signaling the end of this extraordinary contest and the crowning of Tessa Blanchard's first challenger for her newly won Women's Championship. As both women lay on the canvas, the theme of The Pirate Princess begins to play throughout the arena causing a wave of cheers filling the New York air. Kairi, still feeling the effects of the Last Team Standing match the night prior, slowly pulls herself up from the canvas to a seated position, the realization of her momentous victory not yet sinking in. She transitions towards a kneeling position, looking down at the woman besides her, almost admiring her tenacity and inability to accept defeat, which was matched by her persistence and desire to win. On this night, Kairi would emerge victorious but had this been any other night, the result could have easily been different. She would eventually, slowly but surely, make it to her feet, allowing the referee to raise her arm into the air, announcing her as the victor of this heated contest, if her theme playing wasn't indicator enough. This view lasts for a few moments before Kairi is blindsided by the woman she teamed with just twenty four hours ago in Alexa Bliss, the latter wrapping her arms around the former in absolute joy. The Pirate Princess' momentary confusion is replaced with happiness when she realizes who the culprit is, completing the hug shortly after.

The duo break apart, allowing Alexa to take a hold of Kairi's wrist and raises it into the air, reinforcing the idea of Kairi's impending Championship Match at International Incident. With one half of the successful Last Team Standing punching their ticket for an opportunity at Championship gold, the other looks to do the same later on in the evening when Alexa Bliss takes on Mandy Rose and Ember Moon in a Triple Threat match to crown Shayna Baszler's next challenger for her North American Championship at the aforementioned Pay-Per-View. With the momentum clearly in their corner following Kairi's victory, one would have to believe that Bliss is the favorite going into that match, being the only one to win their respective match at Final Stand, but the dynamic of a Triple Threat match throws that completely out the window. Will Alexa follow in her friend's footsteps and secure a Moment of Bliss by earning a Championship Match following her impressive showing at Final Stand, or perhaps Mandy Rose will prove that she is the thorn at Baszler's side by gaining another opportunity to remove the Championship from her grasp, or maybe Ember Moon will Eclipse her competition and prove that her defeat at Final Stand was a one time deal? That question will find its answer later on in the evening, for now, the final shot shown is that of Bliss holding Kairi's arm up into the air as the cameras fade out into a commercial break.

As Anarchy begins, we don't go to a video highlighting what we witnessed at Final Stand XI, we don't see a typical show intro, no we go live from the jump. And there's no extravagant display of pyrotechnics to get the entire audience pumped, because as announced heading into tonight's show, Mr. McMahon is going to issue a State Of XWL Address...and attention from the entire roster is mandatory. So the very first thing we see? Is all of our Champions lined up in the ring. On the far left is The NEW World Heavyweight Champion John Bradshaw Layfield, beside him is The NEW Women's Champion Tessa Blanchard. Beside her stand STILL as Tag-Team Champions Chad Gable & Chris Sabin otherwise known as TCSI. To their left is Matt Sydal STILL standing with an iron clad grip of his Intercontinental Championship. Beside him is Shayna Baszler successfully still able to carry The North American Championship. Lastly on the far right of this line is Andrade Cien Almas proudly displaying his World Television Championship. But while all of them are gathered in the ring, surrounding the ring is the ENTIRE XWL Roster.

From Aiden English, to Zelina Vega every active Male & Female Superstar per orders of Mr. McMahon have gathered around all four sides of the ring all likely wondering what Vince has in store for them tonight as never before has the entire roster been gathered together like this. You see Natalya somehow able to stand here after the war she went through last night. Mandy Rose pouting in the corner as she has to look at Shayna holding the title she came within seconds of claiming at Final Stand. There's Men & Women that appeared at Final Stand in some capacity and others that sat it out likely hoping tonight's address is something that can help them get into the fold of things in XWL. And in a rather unexpected twist, it's not just Superstars around the ring but we notice the commentary table is also empty, for in the midst of the sea of Superstars is Renee Young, Corey Graves, and Mauro Ranallo perhaps given the order to be apart of this moment rather than trying to do their job as the announcers. There's no need for commentary to promote this moment because it truly speaks for itself. And as fans on all sides of the arena cheer excited for what might be about to come...suddenly everything stops as the sound of Mr. McMahon's theme rings through our ears.

All eyes from The Superstars around the ring, and The Champions inside the ring turn to the stage, some taking a deep breath, other more bold names impatiently tapping their feet as if this is an inconvenience to them. But once Mr. McMahon steps out from behind the curtain with his famous strut, we know that business is about to pick up in a big way because he's here, we're live, and every Superstar has been assembled here per his orders. Whatever he has to say is going to effect everyone, but what is it? He wastes no time strutting down the ramp, as the sea of Superstars on the ramp side of the ring begin to part like the red sea. Names like Alexa Bliss & Kairi Sane waste little time in scurrying out of the way. Others like Braun Strowman, The Undertaker, Aleister Black, and Rosemary are less enthusiastic about moving but ultimately they follow suit as well as Mr. McMahon moves towards the steps, where more Superstars like Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi The Golden Lovers make sure to steer clear of his path as he starts to walk up the steps and walk along the apron as the camera pans out to show alternate angles of outside of the ring and The Superstars inhabiting it. Focus returns back to the ring where Mr. McMahon soon enters and begins to pull a mic out from within his coat as he throws his empty hand into the air to silence his theme.

[Mr. McMahon]
I'm sure you're all dying to know why you've been gathered here tonight, and to that I say you'll find out when I'm good and ready. Last I checked, I sign all of your checks, and if I ask you to gather around this ring and listen to me speak for the entirety of this show? You do so with a smile on your face and your lips zipped, or else you can run your mouth in another line, the unemployment line.

He wastes no time in asserting himself, making it very clear that they all need to be on their best behavior in his presence because they are here to listen and that is it. No comments from the peanut gallery, no interruptions, just Mr. McMahon with a microphone.

[Mr. McMahon]
Before I get started, I'd like to take this time to congratulate all of our Champions that after competing on the grandest stage of them all, stand here in this ring with the rewards of their own efforts. Shayna Baszler, Andrade Cien Almas, Matt Sydal, and TCSI all RETAINED their titles and proved what they were made of. Others like Tessa Blanchard and JBL brought about the end of the previous Champion's reigns and now stand here bright shiny and new ready to live out their dream as Champions.

All of them flash a version of a smile of some kind, proud of themselves for being Champion no doubt.

[Mr. McMahon]
But I'm not here to recall all the incredible things we witnessed...I'm here to call upon the incredible things that are to come. This is the time of year where we "reset" and begin a journey all over again until next year's Final Stand. The year ahead is riddled with endless possibilities...and that all starts right here, right NOW. A show, a BRAND can only run with leadership, and currently due to how things played out, which I'm not going to get into again because it's a new day, a new era and harping off things like that are not productive. But due to those factors, we've been without a full-time General Manager.

He makes a point to look over his shoulder at JBL, who infamously used his position to get a World Title Match against his former protege in The Main-Event of Final Stand, which as we can see went all according to plan as he now stands here The NEW World Heavyweight Champion. But after this brief exchange, he refocuses back on the audience.

[Mr. McMahon]
A commander and chief to oversee the day to day, to make the tough choices, to provide opportunities, to be here night in and night out to run "Anarchy" as best it can be. I tried entertaining the idea of a "Guest General Manager" concept. It was suggested by the board of directors, they saw great promise in fresh faces and also familiar ones taking the helm given the amazing work achieved by similar names in the past, namely one of our former top Female Superstars. Now before I go any further I did reach out to Layla and ultimately she's moved on, so, for now, that door is closed. But back to this "concept", we allowed to play out on the road to Final Stand. It was interesting, it allowed the likes of Alexa Bliss & TCSI our Tag-Team Champions to captain the show and they did well. But then you had the likes of Dario Cueto who quite frankly was more hassle than he was worth...then Paul Heyman, granting a title match to Ronda Rousey, that she didn't even show up for, making his week a massive failure...and don't even get me started on that convoluted Main-Event. THEN...THE ROCK & STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN DON'T EVEN BOTHER SHOWING UP BECAUSE OF CONFLICTING SCHEDULES...AND IT MAKES ME LOOK LIKE A DAMN FOOL!

You see the signs of immediate frustration on his face, if we know one crucial detail about the inner-workings of Mr. McMahon it's that he doesn't like to be embarrassed.

[Mr. McMahon]
So I fired every last one of them for that terrible idea, and decided that if you want something done right? You sometimes have to do it yourself. So effective immediately, I Vincent Kennedy McMahon...AM THE NEW GENERAL MANAGER OF ANARCHY!

With that sudden bombshell announcement, The Champions and The Superstars all visibly show their reactions, some going back to the time where they themselves were fans watching and can't help but get excited by the idea of Mr. McMahon being the big boss in charge every week now. Others that haven't exactly had the best history with him don't seem so thrilled but you best believe if he looks in their direction and immediate smile and applause will follow suit.  The audience itself is excited because we know Mr. McMahon is a leader unlike any other, and his appearances in XWL have been so sporadic that it's like the chains have been taken off and now he's here full time every single week.

[Mr. McMahon]
That's right, the boss is here tonight, and I will be here each and every single week to run things MY way. No more entrusting this position to someone else, no...we've done that, I've even allowed my own family to run it...and they ran it into the damn ground because they put themselves ahead of everything that makes a brand like this successful. I may think I know best, and I do...but what makes XWL into the giant it's become is the fact that ANYONE can succeed here if they work their ass off to get there. The likes of Evan Bourne, or Matt Sydal as he's now known by...was nothing but a curtain jerking loser in WWE...but in XWL? He proved someone like me wrong and has become one of the most successful Superstars in XWL history. He is the epitome of a guy I wouldn't even look twice at, but dammit he proved ANYONE can be a big deal if given the chance. I mean look at what he did last night at Final Stand. He signed himself up for a 5 MAN ELIMINATION, FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE MATCH...where he was set to defend his Intercontinental Championship...I believe it was Chad Gable who told him it was a bad idea? Yet, he succeeded. Because what makes Superstars like him successful is they believe they are more, and some...not all of them, but some prove they ARE.

With that direct acknowledgment Matt can't help but pat his title with a proud grin, looking at one half of The Tag-Team Champions Chad Gable with the most "I told you so" expression that there is.

[Mr. McMahon]
He even has the stones to issue an OPEN CHALLENGE...in tonight's Main-Event where despite JUST defending his title, he is already challenging himself AGAIN!

The audience lets out a louder wave of cheers upon the news of tonight's Main-Event being revealed, that Matt Sydal is issuing an Open Challenge the night after his successful Pay-Per-View defense on the grand stage. You see many Superstars outside the ring raise an eyebrow upon hearing that news, perhaps considering accepting it themselves.

[Mr. McMahon]
So I wouldn't be a Billionaire genius if I ignored that, I wouldn't be doing this brand, this company...justice if I tried to shy away from that. No, what makes me that is I can stand here tonight and say that we will not shy away from the essence of XWL, but instead EMBRACE IT! I've got a lot of announcements tonight and I'll start with you, Andrade. Now I'll give credit where it's due you survived The Best Of 7 with Curt Hawkins to retain your title...but if you think you'll be able to rest on your laurels you're mistaken. No, your true test as Champion comes NEXT WEEK. Because you will be defending your title against not one, not two...but THREE other Men in a Fatal Four Way Match!

No one is ever exactly "elated" to find out news like that, but given the serious nature of dealing with Mr. McMahon Andrade tries to bite his tongue and not react to the news in a way that'll call attention upon himself.

[Mr. McMahon]
Who will be in that match you ask? Well, one of the main criticisms at times is that we don't do enough Number One Contender Matches. So tonight? We're going to have THREE of them. The winners of those matches will move onto next week's Fatal Four Way where they will battle you for The World Television Championship. Who are in those matches? Chris Jericho will be going one on one with Rey Mysterio!

Despite coming up short at Final Stand against The Demon Finn Balor Jericho is being rewarded for his efforts as of late and he seems quite pleased as he finds out he'll be facing the newly returned Rey Mysterio a man who hasn't exactly had his best success in XWL and is looking to change that with this return. Both eye each other from opposite ends of the ringside area ready for their clash.

[Mr. McMahon]
Dolph Ziggler will be facing off with The Miz as two recently returned veterans collide for an opportunity at breaking back into things.

Dolph Ziggler, of course, was very outspoken at Final Stand in being left off the show so no doubt he looks ready to seize the opportunity before him tonight. While The Miz sporting one of his fashion-forward suits looks unbothered by the prospects of facing and is ready to advance to next week's title match.

[Mr. McMahon]
Lastly it'll be Roman Reigns against Roderick Strong!

Matt flashes a smile as he looks over at Roderick Strong his fellow Undisputed Era brother who seems very happy to get this opportunity tonight given the fact he's been unsuccessful in truly getting into the fold as of late. While his opponent Roman Reigns has been very vocal about how he believes this run is going to go now that he's back and a match like this is par the course for him. After all, it is ONE versus ALL.

[Mr. McMahon]
Next on the agenda, you Shayna Baszler. Now you did well last night, some might even say exceptional. But can you combat your next challenge? We'll find out at International Incident when you defend against the winner of tonight's Triple Threat Match where we'll determine your #1 contender. It's going to be Ember Moon versus Alexa Bliss versus...MANDY ROSE!

As evidenced by his previous history with Mandy Rose, despite coming up short twice now against Shayna...she's yet again being presented with an opportunity to get gold around her waist. Alexa Bliss who just scored a HUGE victory in a Last Team Standing Match when she defeated her very personal rival Ruby Riott seems thrilled as Kairi hugs her because this is the first Number One Contender Match Alexa has had in a year. So no doubt she wants to make the most of this opportunity. While Ember Moon stands at the corner near the barricade, surrounded by a veil and a hood, her eyes only exposed as you see a burning intensity coming from them. She's a new Woman, a "Shenom" and tonight she's ready to put all of that into becoming Number One Contender for the title that she fell short at winning before in its inaugural match.

[Mr. McMahon]
But I've saved my best announcement for last. For what I am about to say doesn't affect tonight, or next week...or even International Incident. No, what I am about to say is a promise of a future opportunity that I'm sure all of you have been waiting for. Now the richest prize in this industry is The World Heavyweight Championship, and respectively as well The Women's Championship it is the thing of dreams, the pinnacle, the one thing that every Man or Woman when they aspire to get into this business to one day become. And while yes it will be defended at International Incident, and I'll get into the specifics of that later. There's an event that we all know too well right after it. Downpour is the night where THE ELIMINATION CHAMBER is unleashed upon our Men & Women here in XWL...and this year, we're going to be doing things a little bit differently.

You see a lot of The Superstars, and Champion's ears perk up as Mr. McMahon makes mention of The Elimination Chamber.

[Mr. McMahon]
Whoever is World Heavyweight Champion after International Incident, whether that's John Bradshaw Layfield or not...will be defending that title against five other men inside the dreaded ELIMINATION CHAMBER! But instead of "handpicking" those challengers as we always do...instead of putting my choices at the forefront and everyone else be damned like every other General Manager. I'm looking out into the masses, at every Male Superstar and Female Superstar surrounding this ring and I'm telling you what is coming up because no matter who you are, no matter how long you've been here, no matter your "history" or lack thereof. I am giving you this platform to step up. I am informing you of this knowledge because instead those 5 Superstars will be determined via QUALIFYING MATCHES!

While his announcement currently addresses The World Title, even The Women around the ring such as Becky Lynch or Asuka also seem quite excited by this, because likely this means the same for them as well. You see The Men all looking at one another like "Hey this is what I've been waiting for."

[Mr. McMahon]
And listen up because this is the real deal...if you want to be apart of those qualifying matches? You better buckle down and bust your ass to impress me, and to impress The XWL Universe. Because The Superstars who compete in those matches, who WIN those matches and qualify? They will have the opportunity that could change their entire careers. You want in that match? You want the opportunity to qualify for that match? Voice yourself, PROVE IT IN THIS RING, let this ignite a fire within you to stand out above everyone else and catch my eye. You have until the end of International Incident to make your case, and show me you want this. So, gentlemen, and ladies I'll be watching...the question is...will you be watching The Elimination Chamber Match? Or will YOU be one of the lucky Men or Women to QUALIFY for that match?

With the audience roaring with immediate excitement over what's to come in just over a month from now the cameras to reactions from superstars like Finn Balor who has been dying to get back into The World Title hunt since he lost his "Crown Jewel" of The Authority status many years ago. You see Velveteen Dream, who although he's newer he's wasted zero time in making an immediate impact, and scoring a big win at his first outing on the grand stage. You see Eli Drake who has had a rough couple of months since losing The Intercontinental Championship and desperately needs something like this to be able to prove why he is "The Elite Superstar Of XWL."

[Mr. McMahon]
Starting tonight I want each and every last one of you to show me how hungry you are, how determined you are, how undeniable YOU are! This isn't a new "era" that term gets thrown around so much it's lost its meaning. This is the dawn of your takeover, it is the first day of the rest of your careers...and if you want to make a name for yourself? You start by letting me know WHO you are! Show me WHAT you can do! And above all else? TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT! I want to feel your passion burning through every word you ever utter into a microphone. I want to see your desire to be the best inside and outside of this ring! Do I make myself clear, dammit?! YOU WANT WHAT THESE SUPERSTARS HAVE IN THIS RING? THEN YOU BETTER LEAVE YOUR MARK ON THIS SHOW EACH AND EVERY WEEK! Now quit standing around daydreaming and SHOW ME YOU WANT THIS!

Following his impassioned address to the locker room that surrounds the ring, you see a fire ignite in each of their eyes. You see the realization that everything they've ever wanted is within reach, they just have to spend the next month giving it all they've got to impress Mr. McMahon. The cameras remain focused on all The Superstars staring intently at The Champions in the ring. They have what they want, and now thanks to Mr. McMahon's words...they know how to get it. Some Superstars start to take their leave, ready to get prepared to start their case why it should be them tonight, others seem frozen in desire as they stare at The World Heavyweight Champion. Mr. McMahon lowers his mic and gives a glance to all The Champions that they better be ready because he's just unleashed the beast within every potential challenger. Anarchy then begins to fade out as we go to our first commercial break of the evening, knowing that once we resume the broadcast, a truly game-changing show awaits us.

1. One Man's Pain is Another Man's Title Reign
While this year's annual Final Stand saw some legacies come to a close, it also hosted the introduction of two new Champions. On the women's front, Tessa Blanchard proved herself to be as tough as a diamond when she managed to eliminate the Unpredictable threat of Liv Morgan after things got nasty following an attempt at an aerial attack off the top of a ladder, spearheaded by a sledgehammer, went terribly wrong. With the blue-tongued brat out of the picture, Tessa moved on to do the unthinkable by pinning the previously thought to be Unbreakable Natalya after she spiked the former Champion’s skull off of the ladder with her trademarked Buzzsaw DDT, ending the career-defining reign of the Queen of Harts while securing her spot as your new Undeniable Women's Champion. On the men's side of the coin, JBL faced off against the now former World Heavyweight Champion, Aiden English. The crafty corporate snake was able to procure the victory after using English’s own rope against him, and practically tempting his former Cabinet member to “go towards the light.” These near-homicidal means leave us wondering if there’s anything JBL wouldn’t do to secure, and going forward, retain his gold. Although his methods may have been difficult to watch, they were effective and granted JBL his first ever XWL World Heavyweight Championship, while simultaneously condemning us all to the seemingly endless hell that is trying to succeed in a world with John Bradshaw Layfield. In a stunning and welcomed turn of events after the match, JBL would soon find himself out cold on the floor when the Scottish Psychopath, Drew McIntyre, manifested all the desires of the people when he connected a boot to the pompous jaw of Layfield. With a threat to the throne already arising, is JBL capable of keeping the Scotsman at bay so soon after the aforementioned "I Quit" match?

2. Fresh Meat on the Street
This year's Final Stand brought us several surprises that extended beyond its previously scheduled and highly anticipated card. The returns of Roman Reigns, Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose, Rey Mysterio, and Cesaro left the XWL Universe in attendance and at home presumably elated. The question now is: will these superstars manage to capitalize on their momentum coming off the heels of Final Stand? Or were these appearances on the grandest stage of them all just minor flashes in the pan? Stay tuned this week to discover who rises to the top, and who succumbs to the pressure, and flops.

3. Some Things Never Change (Hands)
Despite two new Champions being crowned at Final Stand, other Champions endured and walked out of biggest event of the year with their gold still in tact. Speaking of gold, Matt Sydal defended his Intercontinental Championship when he overcame the staggering odds and completed his tallest order yet by defeating Ricochet, Jimmy Havoc, Daniel Bryan, and Tyler Breeze all in one sitting in a Fatal 5-Way, Falls Count Anywhere, Elimination match. Andrade "Cien" Almas and Curt Hawkins may have wrapped up the Best of 7 Series for the World Television Championship, but at the end of the sequence, it was Almas who bested Hawkins and retained his title. North American Champion Shayna Baszler had an unexpected guest answer the call to her open challenge when the Chairman of XWL, Vince McMahon, made his presence known in New Jersey. The surprise of the fans was short-lived, however, when he revealed Baszler's contender to be God's Greatest Creation (and Vince's personal favorite), Mandy Rose. Unfortunately for the Golden Goddess, Vince's favor was not enough to seal the victory, and in the end it was the Submission Magician who retained. Lastly, the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in Chris Sabin and Chad Gable, collectively known as the Trash City Stupid Idiots, faced off against the dynamic duo who gained their fame while competing in Japan, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi, the Golden Lovers. While the Golden Star and the Best Bout Machine put on an impressive showing, it was TCSI who retained their championships, and will continue to expand upon their history-making reign.

4. Ladies' Night
Even though the following women weren't involved in a championship opportunity this time around, the performances they gave were sure to earn them notice in the following weeks as we look towards International Incident. Following a couple of conspiratorial no-shows, it seemed like it was fate that Rosemary and Ember Moon would clashed this year in the Metlife Stadium. After Rosemary secured the win for herself with the Red Wedding, one has to wonder if this is the last these two will see of each other? After an overtly personal rivalry that found its roots between Five Feet of Fury and the Resident Anarchist, the team of Nia Jax and Ruby Riott took on the dynamic duo of Alexa Bliss and Kairi Sane in a unbelievably long-winded Last Team Standing Match. It was the Irresistible Force Nia Jax who was first eliminated, when Kairi Sane took a questionable leap of faith off of a ladder, which ended up paying off when it eliminated the most physically dominant threat in the contest. However, Sane's victory was cut short when she found herself in a sacrificial position to save her partner and friend from the destructive Riott Kick. In the end, it was Alexa who managed to avenge her partner through some poetic justice and eradicate her long-standing bully in Ruby Riott. The Empress of Tomorrow and the Irish Lass-Kicker met in the ring at Final Stand to settle their vast differences in a grueling Submission Match. At the end of the night, the Empress bowed to Straight Fire as Becky Lynch was able force Asuka into submission by practically ripping her arm right out of its socket. But to the surprise of many, it was Asuka who got the last laugh when she turned the stomachs of everyone watching by popping her own arm back into place, and catching Lynch off guard with the Asuka Lock. Becky inevitably faded while the Empress, even though coming up short, walked out of Final Stand with her head held high.

5. Boys Will Be Boys
The Demon King Finn Balor made a notable impact last week with a triumphant return of the Demon and victory over the writer-of-names Chris Jericho off the 1916. The mullet-wielding Brian Pillman Jr. looked to land his first victory over Eli Drake last week, but unfortunately for Pillman Jr., the odds were in the Elite One's favor at Final Stand. To a double showing of misfortune, after the match Drake crassly rejected a show of sportsmanship from his opponent, and sent him walking out of Metlife Stadium with an L and a serious case of (black and) blue balls. Speaking of balls, during a vomit-inducing Last Man Standing match between Sami Zayn and Pete Dunne, Dunne found himself on the sore end of a 2 on 1 predicament when the unexpected (at least to Pete Dunne) third party of Jay White entered the equation off of a masked attack from behind, giving Sami the opening he so desperately needed in order to bust out his inner Negan and introduce a new weapon into the bloody fray. A barb wire baseball bat was intended to put Dunne away, but perhaps ended up causing Zayn more harm than good when the Bruiserweight got his hands on the piece and used it to scrape away several layers of Sami Zayn’s mug. But in the end, the numbers game got the best of Pete Dunne, and it was Sami Zayn and his cutthroat companion who triumphantly walked out of New Jersey. With a few too many shots to the family jewels over the course of this contest, Pete Dunne came up short and was down for the 10 count. Meanwhile, the Dream became extreme when Velveteen Dream conquered the veteran Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels, and delivered on his promise to treat the world to the true "Velveteen Dream Experience." All the way over on the darkest corner of the card, we witnessed 385 pounds of Braun Strowman willfully lay down onto the mat and hand the victory to the team of the Undertaker and Aleister Black. After the match, Strowman's partner Bray Wyatt re-entered the squared circle where he and Braun participated in a rather grimy and bizarre exchange with the unofficial fifth member of this match, Rosemary. Following the spread of some foul green mist and mucus, the five joined in unison to stand tall in the center of the ring. Is Rosemary the second-coming of Charles Manson? Or is this band of cult-like misfits something even more blatantly sinister? Grab hold of your rosaries and crucifixes, as we look to find out this week on Anarchy.

*BONUS* 6. Daddy's Home
In a stunning turn of events revealed via XWL.com last week, the XWL Universe and roster discovered that the Chairman of XWL himself, Vince McMahon, was returning to Anarchy to address the current status of the company he founded. After the tyrannical and self-promoting time in the General Manager office by (you know who), and the sporadic rotating guest GMs we've been subjected to over the past number of weeks, Anarchy has truly been living up to its name as of late. Will Mr. McMahon be the unexpected voice of reason that the company is dying for, or will he only further turn the foundation of Anarchy onto its head?

Disclaimer: This week's stories are extra exhaustive as it's my first week on the job and we're coming off of Final Stand. Please do not expect every week to be this broad or inclusive, as something like this is typically going to be reserved for cards that follow special events.

As Mandy Rose vs Bayley wraps up, we cut to the commentator's table

{Corey Graves}
Well Renee, Mauro this has been a phenomenal episode of Anarchy tonight. We just witnessed the return of “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns and what a return it was!

{Renee Young}
You’re absolutely right, Corey. Not to mention a great battle between Mandy Rose and Bayley! I cannot wait to see what we have next for us!

{Mauro Ranallo}
I believe it is Shawn Michaels versus Chris Jericho, Renee, and what a great match this is going to be.

Normal Match

{Corey Graves}
Well here comes “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels guys, and he looks super focused for “Y2J” Chris Jericho tonight, but you’ve gotta be wondering if the lingering presence of the egomaniac, the unstable mind of Velveteen Dream heading into their clash at Final Stand. And that match is going to be Extreme Rules, No Holds Barred. Anything is going to go in that match, and who knows what the sadistic Dream has in store.

{Renee Young}
And here comes that man, Chris Jericho. He’s set to go 1 on 1 with Finn Balor at Final Stand, and that is going to be an incredible matchup between two of the greatest in-ring performers this company, and this sport. I cannot wait for that matchup, but lets focus on the one we have in front of us right now.

As both men stand in the ring, a third superstar’s theme begins to play, and out he comes towards the ring, with a steel chair in hand

{Corey Graves}
Well speak of the devil Renee, here comes The Velveteen Dream to ringside, obviously looking to scout his Final Stand opponent. I absolutely love this move by The Dream, and the ref has rang the bell, but Shawn is still looking at The Velveteen Dream, not Chris Jericho!

As HBK is still staring at Dream, Jericho runs over and blasts HBK with a brutal forearm to the back of the head, clubbing him into the corner. Jericho continues to pound HBK in the corner with punch after punch before the ref finally pushes him away. While the ref is distracted with Jericho, The Dream gets out of his chair and spits in the face of Shawn Michaels.

{Renee Young}
Oh my god, Corey! Velveteen just spit in the face of Shawn. Look at how much rage Shawn is filled with right now.

Michaels’ face turns as red as a tomato as he becomes incensed with rage. He climbs through the rope and pushes over The Velveteen Dream’s chair. He slides back into the ring but is met by a stiff kick to the chest by Jericho. A few minutes go by of some old-fashioned chain wrestling before The Velveteen Dream gets up at ringside. He is visibly angry at HBK for pushing him over. He slams his chair on the mat, and drills Chris Jericho over the head.

{Corey Graves}
What the hell? The Velveteen Dream just crushed Chris Jericho with the steel chair instead of Shawn Michaels! He just cost Michaels the match, severely hurting his stock as a future #1 Contender to a championship. What a brilliant move by The Dream.

Michaels begins to chase Velveteen Dream to the back as The Dream dropped the chair in the ring. As the two sprint to the back, the lights go out and the arena is filled with an eerie darkness.

Finn comes sprinting down to the ring. He immediately hops onto the top rope. He points out to the fans and comes crashing down onto the ribcage of Chris Jericho with a thunderous Coup de Grace. Balor stands over the body of Jericho looking down at him smiling. Balor then puts the mic to his mouth and begins speaking.

{Finn Balor}
And this right here ladies and gentlemen is a spoiler for Final Stand. I will be standing y’all over the body of this fragile nobody.

Balor then grabs the hair of Jericho and starts yelling in his face.

{Finn Balor}
You’re nothing to me Jericho! I am better to you in every way! I’m done being pushed aside by the likes of you and everyone in that locker room! My time is now and there’s nothing you can do to stop me!

The lights start to malfunction as Balor’s voice begins to get deeper and deeper

{Finn Balor}
Darkness will rule this land once again! I am your worst nightmare and I will drag you to the depths of hell! The world of XWL will go up in flames in the name of THE DEMON!

The lights continue to malfunction until the lights go completely out and the arena is in complete silence. The lights come back on and Jericho is sitting in the middle of the ring in complete shock over the events that just occurred

{Corey Graves}
Finn Balor has totally lost it and has disappeared. What the hell just happened Mauro!?

{Mauro Ranallo}
I have no idea what just happened but one thing is clear, Jericho has a much bigger competition now at Final Stand. It seems like The Demon has made his return to XWL. May God have mercy on us all.

The camera cuts away from the broadcast as we get ready for the Main Event

Anarchy returns from break and we find Kota Ibushi and Kenny Omega both pacing around the ring and using the ropes to stretch as they prepare for their upcoming gauntlet match that was orchestrated by their opponents at Final Stand, the World Tag Team Champions and guest gm's for the evening, TCSI. We know that there will be as many as 3 teams in this match depending on how far the Golden Lovers are able to progress. This is gonna be a daunting task for the Golden Lovers but both men seem to be in good spirits despite all the shenanigans that took place in last week's trifecta of challenges, they seem to have put that behind them and are as prepared as they possibly can be for the task at hand.

The XWL universe unleashes a massive pop at the sound of this iconic theme, it can only mean one thing, the shock apperance of Bobby Roode and James Storm, Beer Money! And within seconds of the theme hitting, any possibilities of this theme being some sort of ruse on TCSI's part are quickly thrown to the wayside as Roode and Storm make their way through the curtain. The fans celebrate their appearance all the way down the ramp and into the ring where Roode proceeds to outstretch his arms which causes the MONEY TO FALL FROM THE RAFTERS! Beer Money's trademark bills with their faces and logos on them rain down upon the XWL universe ensuring that just about everyone will have a very cool souvenir to take home with them tonight. Ibushi and Omega high five each other before Omega steps out onto the apron signalling that Ibushi will start this match for the Golden Lovers, Beer Money dispatch of their entrance gear whilst some ringside help quickly clears the Beer Money bills from the ring, before long the bell has sounded and we are underway.

And just like that the Golden Lovers have managed to defeat the legendary duo of Beer Money via Kenny's One Winged Angel on Bobby Roode. Beer Money exit the ring to a massive applause from the XWL universe, they slap a few hands on their way up the ramp and into the back but as they say, there ain't no rest for the wicked and there ain't no rest for the Golden Lovers because their next set of opponents are about to make their entrance.

Make that 2 rather large pops from the XWL universe so far in this gauntlet, the lovers next set of opponents are none other than Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of the now defunct but legendary Bullet Club faction that once ran rampant throughout XWL on 2 separate lengthy spells! These 2 weren't always the most popular of folk around here, but the fans always love a good surprise return so they're getting cheered tonight and judging by the look on their faces as they've made their way out onto the stage? their A-okay with that! They 2 sweet some lucky fans on their way down the ramp before entering the ring and standing across from a visibly tired Kota Ibushi and Kenny Omega. Anderson and Gallows both take their jackets off and prepare to try their hand at besting a weakened Golden Lovers unit. The ref calls for the bell and we're underway once again.

My god they've done again, somehow, someway, the Golden Lovers have managed to pull off another victory in this gauntlet match, but at what cost? specifically for Kota Ibushi, he was able to plant Gallows with the Golden Star Powerbomb for the victory, but he took ALOT of punishment in this match at the hands of Gallows and Anderson as did Omega. Ibushi just lays on the mat following the 3 count, he wants to use every available second at his disposal to try and rest and recuperate, his hopes for at least a minute of rest are instantly dashed however at the sound of the 3rd and final team in this gauntlet's theme song hitting the airwaves.

Drake and Pillman Jr. make their way out onto the stage as Kenny Omega has entered the ring and kneel'd next Ibushi, trying to lightly slap his face to get him to come to as this match is just moments away from starting. Omega rolls under the bottom rope and grabs a water bottle from the timekeepers area, he douses himself with about half of it before dousing Ibushi with the rest of it and aiding Ibushi in his quest to get back to a vertical base in time. Omega drags Ibushi to their corner which allows Ibushi to lean into it and get some slight recovery in as Drake and Pillman Jr. have entered the ring via the opposite side. It's all on the line right here, will Golden Lovers be able to show TCSI and the world just how resilient they truly are? or will Eli and Brian pick up a massive marquee win over the beaten and battered #1 contenders, it's time to find out the answers to these questions and more as the bell has sounded and the final match in this gauntlet one way or the other is underway.

The XWL universe looks on in shock horror as Omega was planted with Gravy Train by Eli Drake. His knee absolutely gave out after he crashed and burned when attempting a flying V-Trigger into the corner on Drake which gave Eli all the opening he needed to hit Gravy Train on the Best Bout Machine. Ibushi knows that if he doesn't get in the ring and aid his partner now, this match will be lost, he has to do something, but just as he's made up his mind on entering the ring and coming to the aid of his partner, he is yanked off the apron by Brian Pillman Jr. and rammed back 1st into the steel steps whilst the ref was occupied with checking on Omega's condition. Pillman Jr. dashes back around the ring to his team's corner and leaps back up onto the apron, he signals that he wants a tag from Eli to put an end to this match and show the world that he can hang with the ELITE of this company, Drake is slightly reluctant at 1st but realizing what is at stake and the sense of urgency to pick up this marquee win takes over and Drake makes the tag to Pillman Jr. Pillman Jr. springs over the top rope and into the ring, he makes a rookie mistake right away though, he takes his eye off the ball when he turns to Eli and informs him that he won't regret making that tag and that he's gonna put the Best Bout Machine down right here and right now, before Eli can even react he is sent flying off the apron and into the barricade at the hands of his own partner, or so it seemed at least because it was Kenny Omega who charged at Pillman Jr. from behind and knocked him into Drake, Omega rolls through from behind on Pillman Jr., almost as though he's looking for either a roll up or a chaos theory german suplex, it turns out he's looking for neither as he transitions all the way through the roll up motion and winds up behind Pillman Jr. just like he wanted, he hoists Pillman Jr. up onto his shoulders in quick fashion looking for what would surely be the decisive One Winged Angel that would put an end to this hellacious match for the Golden Lovers and put an end to Pillman Jr's. hopes of making an impact here tonight, but as soon as the excitement built from the XWL universe towards what they were witnessing, it was immediately gone, excitement turned to horror as Omega's knee buckled under the weight of Pillman Jr., the toll of these matches tonight along with that knee crashing into the turnbuckle moments ago has proved too much for the Best Bout Machine to overcome, Pillman Jr. hooks Omega arms and pins his shoulders to the mat with a crucifix roll up from behind, it's enough for the 3 count and the win for Drake and Pillman Jr. and it's enough to make the Golden Lovers fans hearts shatter.

Omega and Ibushi put their heart and soul on display for the XWL universe tonight, and although they didn't come out victorious, they gave it everything they had and they gave the XWL universe a performance to be proud of, one they won't soon forget. The elephant in the room however is the condition of Kenny Omega's knee, you would have to imagine that TCSI have a gigantic smile on their face in their office backstage right now as something like this will be exactly what they were hoping for when they created this match tonight. Speculation about the condition of Omega's knee will no doubt run rampant until the moment that bell rings at Final Stand in 2 weeks time, but for now, all the Golden Lovers can do is go home, rest, recuperate, and try and make their final preparations for the biggest night of their lives at Metlife Stadium in 2 weeks. Omega is helped out of the ring by Ibushi and the ref, Ibushi signals to the ref that he can take it from here as he places Kenny's arm over his neck to support his body weight and take all the weight off of Omega's banged up knee. The two men limp backstage to a round of applause from the XWL universe as Drake and Pillman Jr. do some celebrating of their own amongst themselves in the ring as Anarchy heads to break.

With the referee reaching the finale of his dreaded ten count, he signals the bell to be rung, ending this match in a double count out. Breeze, who had begun his sprint back to the ring after hearing his nine count, stops dead in his tracks, the annoyed expression of realization that his second attempt at Championship Gold was thwarted but a mere goat is etched all over his gorgeous face, but the question remains: With both men being counted out, who is the number one contender to Matt Sydal's Intercontinental Championship? Breeze runs a hand through his perfect locks before he turns his attention to the slowly rising culprit, the Goat Faced thorn at his side, the man he thought he was done with after Breakthrough in Daniel Bryan. In one swift motion, he charges to the now standing Bryan and places a hand on his shoulder while the other one wraps around his trunks, using as much of his strength as he can muster to send his adversary into the steel railing a few feet from them, the sound of flesh meeting steel creating a beautifully destructive symphony to resonate throughout the immediate area.

Boos rain down upon the Gorgeous Superstar but he isn't concerned with the opinions of those lesser than him, all he wanted to do was show the world that he was Bryan's superior and instead, here we are. Breeze, beginning to close the distance between them, steps on a stray Kendo Stick, looking down at the object that would dare attempt to stop his assault before an idea hatches in his pretty little brain: Why not use this to his advantage? He does just that, reaching down and wrapping his hand around the base, lifting it up to his level and begins to measure a slowly rising Daniel Bryan up. He lines up his shot gorgeously before winding back and swinging forward, causing a imprint of the weapon to begin subtly pulsing across Bryan's exposed back when it collides with the unprotected flesh. Not satisfied with a single strike, Breeze repeats the gesture a second time, then a third, even a fourth time before he tosses a mangled Kendo Stick aside like he would last years fashion lines.

With Bryan momentarily incapacitated, Breeze look around his surrounding for another weapon to brutalize the Goat Faced Hero with, ultimately making his decision a classic: A Steel Chair. Breeze pulls the chair away from its resting place and wraps his arm around one of the legs, making his way back to the slowly rising Daniel Bryan with the chair in question in tow. Placing a second hand on the other set of legs, Breeze lifts the chair high above his head as a kneeling Daniel Bryan looks up towards his proverbial executioner, motioning for him to do his worst, almost begging for Breeze to do this to him. Breeze instead takes a step back and readjusts the chair's location from over his head to over his left shoulder but instead of swinging the chair towards the downed Goat, Breeze throws his foot to Bryan's face, connecting an unsuspecting Superkick that causes Bryan to go back first into the steel railing behind him.

Not being satisfied with that audible, Breeze opens up the chair and takes a hold of Bryan's hair, less than carefully wrapping the steel chair around his head before pulling him up to his feet, his newest accessory on display for all to see. Breeze takes a hold of the chair, ensuring that it'll stay the course, and places a hand on Bryan's back before shoving him into the nearby crate chair first, a gruesome sight following shortly after that leaves Bryan laying at the base of the crate with a now mangled steel chair wrapped around his neck and head. Breeze, with a job well done in his mind, opts to leave the scene and begins making his way towards the ring, hopping over the barricade with beautiful ease and taking a microphone for good measure before he rolls into the ring. Prince Pretty takes a second to delicately comb his hair back into place with his fingers, allowing himself to catch his breath before speaking.

Tyler Breeze
That, my good not-so-beloved common people, is EXACTLY what happens to a misshapen MULE who doesn't know their place!... You had the utmost audacity to sneak your unforgivably hideous face into my highly exclusive runway debut and attack me, COMPLETELY unprovoked, in front of NAOMI CAMPBELL! Do you have any idea who that even IS?!... Highly unlikely, I doubt you have Vogue in whatever filthy hole you emerged from.

Breeze begins to pace back and forth in the ring, one hand firmly on his hip while he keeps his attention in the direction of the corpse (for all intensive purposes) of Daniel Bryan.

Tyler Breeze
I have had enough of you lurking around in my shadow and haunting my novel-worthy career like some clingy and unattractive ghost! I've played nice, I've humored your little dream of being a star, and I've let you ride along on my coattails down the road to Final Stand, but that all ceases to continue RIGHT NOW... I'm taking my rightful place in that Intercontinental Championship match whether you like it or not you stingy little cretin, and unless you want to eat your lackluster vegan meals through a STRAW for the rest of your unsightly days, then perhaps this will finally teach you to KEEP your NOSE out of PRETTY, PEOPLE'S, BUSINESS!...

The King of Cuteville slams his mic down over the top rope and out at ringside, making a loud and unavoidable pop as it collides with the lightly padded floor. The crowd rain down on Breeze with boos, but the Definition of Delish could quite possibly not care any less by the looks of it. He rolls out under the bottom rope and the camera fades out as he retreats up the ramp between the crowd screaming shame at him from both sides.

LIVE FROM: Spectrum Center
Charlotte, North Carolina

DEADLINE: 4:30 P.M. EST / 9:30 P.M. GMT

What's Coming Up On Anarchy?

1. Tonight, the advocate for CM Punk and Ronda Rousey, Paul Heyman is in charge of XWL Anarchy! Heyman has already flexed his power by giving CM Punk a main event Extreme Rules Match against the #1 Contender to the World Heavyweight Championship, JBL. Heyman has also made a match for Ronda Rousey, granting her a North American Championship opportunity against the seemingly unstoppable “Ace of Spades” Shayna Baszler. Will Heyman’s clients make the best of their golden opportunities?

2. Speaking of gold, XWL’s Golden Ticket and Iron Man, Matt Sydal is also in action tonight! However, Sydal will be facing two familiar foes in his friend and former tag team partner Ricochet and the man who brutally assaulted him nearly a month ago, the unpredictable Jimmy Havoc. Will either of Sydal’s opponents get revenge for their losses in championship matches? Or will the Iron Man further reign supreme?

3. Tonight, we will bear witness to the second ever episode of A Moment of Bliss! However, unlike when Alexa was in charge for the evening, Ruby Riott will have her hands full preparing to face Alexa’s new bestie Kairi Sane. On the docket for XWL’s newest talk show? The two challengers for Natalya’s Women’s Championship at Final Stand. With XWL’s Problem Child and the Third Generation Diamond in the same ring, will cooler heads prevail? Or will episode two of A Moment of Bliss be just as chaotic as its pilot?

As XWL returns to the arena from that whole mess, the theme of none other than the world champion Aiden English sounds off, meaning it's time  for another in his series of champion tests against the brother of tonight's general manager, Matanza Cueto As Aiden makes his way into the ring, it’s clear that all he’s focused on is getting past tonight so he’s yet another step closer to Final Stand. To JBL. To finally putting this chapter of his career to rest. But this attitude may not pay off for English. Matanza Cueto is unlike any opponent he’s faced before. He’s a wild card. Who knows what awaits Aiden English here tonight.

As Matanza Cueto makes his way out from the back, it becomes clear to many in the XWL Universe who don’t watch Lucha Underground just what they’re dealing with here. Cueto is an imposing figure like few others, and as he makes his way down to the ring, the camera cut to Aiden English, to see if there’s doubt in his mind. But if there is, he is determined to not show it. In fact, it still seems that he’s more looking through Cueto at JBL than actually at him. Once Cueto makes his way into the ring, the referee signals that’s time for the start of this contest. Right off the gate, Aiden English decides to make a charge at Cueto, trying to knock him off his feet early. This proves fruitless however, as instead the Monster simply stops English dead in his tracks, slamming right into him, knocking him down harshly toward the mat.

[Corey Graves]
This is going to be a long night for Aiden English.

And as the match goes on, it becomes increasingly clear that Corey is right, it most certainly is a long night for Aiden English. Time and time again Aiden English attempts to mount a successful offense against The Monster, and while at times he seems to finally be wearing him down, inevitably he’s stopped by the sheer force of Cueto. Eventually however, Aiden has managed to knock down The Monster seemingly for good, and makes his way to the middle rope.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Aiden English setting up for That's a Wrap!

However, once Aiden leaps off the middle rope, he is caught in the arms of Cueto!

[Corey Graves]
Not quite so fast, it seems Cueto has Aiden in perfect position for Wrath of the Gods!

It seems that Corey is right, but just before Cueto can land the move, Aiden English barely manages to escape his grasp! In a move that almost seems born out of desperation, Aiden delivers a fierce kick straight to the chest of Cueto, before hitting him with the Director's Cut! Without a moment's hesitation, he covers Cueto for

Aiden English’s theme signals his success in yet another of his “tests” as champion. As the ref comes over to raise his arm, Aiden allows his arm to be raised for a few seconds, but rather quickly makes his way outside of the ring, grabbing the mic out of the hands of JoJo before she’s even able to announce him the winner.

{Aiden English}
Have I passed your test yet?

Aiden English makes his way back into the ring, clearly worn out from the match he just finished, but clearly with something on his mind. He turns around and looks at the crowd here in The Temple, who are waiting for what he has to say.

{Aiden English}
I mean, I beat the first man who held this title in under five minutes, I beat the very man who I had already pinned to win the title, and then I have to go and fight the general manager’s…. Brother? To be honest I have no idea what’s truly going on here. What I do is that for some reason the management of XWL clearly doubts me enough that I have to “prove myself” using these tests that neither Johnny Gargano, Chris Jericho, or any other champion had to go through! So why is it me huh? Is it because of Money in the Bank? That can’t be it, Sami Zayn never had to “test” himself. The brass was ready and willing to accept a man who randomly decides to wander off and disappear for months as their champion. Maybe it’s because of my style. Don’t think I don’t read all your little comments online, saying I fight too passive, that I take too long to finish a match, I know all about what some of you say behind a keyboard in your little chat rooms. But if that’s the case, than why is JBL a man, whose wrestling style for six months has been to not wrestle, given a shot at this title? Did he have to pass “tests” to earn a shot? No, I didn’t think so. So why me?

Aiden paces back and forth, clearly furious that he continues to be doubted by management, some of the fans, maybe even the other superstars. Whatever the reason for these tests is. The fans wavered in their support for a little bit at his dig at them, but they seem mostly back on board after the JBL comment. Because they know what Aiden English knows what everyone should know. To Aiden English, there’s only one test that matters. The test that takes place at Final Stand. The test of whether Aiden English can beat JBL. Anything else is just a distraction from preparing for this true test. As Aiden continues to move back and forth, muttering to himself, one has to wonder what exactly what’s going through his head. The last few weeks it’s been clear. Anger at JBL and how he treated them. But this is a little different. Sure he’s angry at JBL, but it doesn’t seem to just be him anymore. It seems to be anyone that doubts him or has ever doubted him. And right now the main focus of this anger is the powers that be.

{Aiden English}
Speaking of JBL, let’s talk about the man running the show here tonight. Dario Cueto? Really? After six long months of Anarchy being run straight into the ground by JBL, XWL goes and finds a man nearly identical to run the show! Are you kidding me? Next thing you know Dario Cueto will be suing XWL for what I did to his test here tonight. However, I can’t be too hard on Cueto, at the very least it takes being a family member of his to choose his favorite. As opposed to the man running this company, who will take any blonde woman who throws herself at him and push them to the moon!

{Aiden English}
Actually, it’s not just blondes is it? Have any of you ever noticed how many superstars seem to just get handed title shots for doing absolutely nothing? How many times has a superstar debuted or returned, only to almost immediately be handed a title shot? Or how many times has someone be put into a #1 contender match after doing nothing but lose for weeks, even months? And yet again, I have to get “tested” week after week, as if I haven’t been showing up expectations since my very first match when I defeated Bad News Barrett, when I won Money in the Bank, and when I won this championship!

Aiden English raises up the championship to round of applause from the crowd, he lowers it back down, nodding his head, knowing that no matter what the company threw at him, he was still the top guy.

{Aiden English}
So you know what, I’m sick of all these “tests”, all the times I’ve come out here and said things only for no one to answer them, someone come out here damn it! I don’t care if it’s JBL, Vince Mcmahon, Dario Cueto, or anyone else on this roster!

Aiden throws down the microphone and looks out towards the ztage, anticipating the arrival of whoever is willing to accept his challenge of sorts.

JBL emerges out onto the stage accompanied by a loud sea of booing fans. He seems to ignore them however, as he nods his head. He doesn’t smile tonight, as he looks down towards his former prodigy. A few moments pass before he now chooses to speak.

$JBL$
For three weeks, I have come out here. I have come out here and busted my ass. I have proved how I am A Wrestling God. Starting with the night my role as General Manager was taken away from me for no reason but to make a senile old man feel like he still has what it takes to run a company. On the very night my world was flipped around, I was thrown in an unfair handicap match. A match that no one on this damn roster would have even attempted, much less succeeded in. And it wasn’t just any handicap match against a few random talentless hacks on this roster. No.....no that wouldn’t have been enough of a screw job. Instead I was forced to face the entire Undisputed era, alone. Did I tuck my tail between my legs? Did I run off and decide to no show like so many on this roster choose to do week after week. No. I proved that every single word that has come out of my mouth from day one has been nothing but the truth. I proved that I am that damn good when I beat not only Roderick Strong and Pete Dunne, but I nearly beat the Golden Weasel himself, Matty Boy Sydal.

JBL begins to chuckle a bit, sarcastically of course before he abruptly stops and looks to Aiden.

$JBL$
That is until you had to swoop down and shove your nose into my business. Somewhere it damn sure didn’t belong. But it’s not as if this was some kind of mistake. It wasn’t a “one and done” type of thing. Because you couldn’t have stopped there. The very next week I was set to compete in a tag team match against the TRASH City STUPID IDIOTS, all I had to do was find a partner. Simple enough right? For a Wrestling God it shouldn’t be a big deal. And it wasn’t. It took me nearly no time at all to find a man like minded enough to know true, raw talent when he sees it. A man who knows how to make an impact, not only in the wrestling world, but in the music industry aswell. Ladies and Gentlemen the man I speak of, is a returning XWL superstar Elias. A man who was set to compete last week against the tag team champions. A man who like me, speaks nothing but the truth instead of taking the easy way out and lying to each of you. A man who was viciously blindsided and assaulted by the ugly ass, receding hairlined, Shakespeare reject son of a bitch standing before you that calls himself “champion”.

$JBL$
Now ive stood back there for nearly three weeks now, listening to you bitch, moan, and complain. And I think I speak for us all when I say, enough. Enough bitching about your decision to join the Cabinet, which I might add is the ONLY reason your still here. If it wasn’t for me, your ass never would have come one hundred feet within gold, unless I was paying you to clean dog shit from the bottom of my boots as I looked at my handsome reflection from my championship. You bitch now, but I don’t seem to recall any “false hope” or negative feeling when you rode in my limousine free of charge. When you were given the keys to our private luxury locker room. When I practically handed you the Money In The Bank Briefcase, or better yet that damn championship. As a matter of fact, the only time I recall you bitching is when I threw your ass to the curb. So please spare me from the “pity me” lecture, because you and I both know it’s bullshit.

JBL holds up to fingers as he continues his speech.

$JBL$
You constantly moan about the XWL management. Not only when I was in charge, but now that they are giving you tests to prove your worth. And as much as I can’t believe I’m saying this, for once, I agree with them. You like so many others claim I never did anything as General Manager but try to make an attempt for self gain. But I suppose i wasn’t the one to introduce the North American Championship. I suppose I wasn’t the man to give XWL it’s first ever triple threat iron man match? I suppose I wasn’t the one that was in charge when rating went through the roof, due to my decisions. I was the best General Manager XWL has EVER had. In my term of a short six months I did more than Layla had in years. So You can continue to moan about these tests all you want, but the truth of the matter is, the XWL “higher ups” know the facts just as you and I do. They know that as much as they hate me, they can’t afford to have you as their champion. At the end of the day, I am BEST FOR BUISNESS!

JBL now hold up 3 fingers.

$JBL$
And lastly son, you have the Audacity to come out here and complain. Complain that I wasn’t they leader you should have had. Complain that the XWL officials don’t like you. Complain your being tested. That I “didn’t” earn my shot to face you at Final Stand. All I hear is you complain, complain, complain. however in reality, I should be the one complaining. I should be the one upset because I have to face you of all people for the World Heavyweight Championship at Final Stand. I should be complaining about how you didn’t live up to my expectations until I kicked your ass to the curb. I should be the one complaining that even though I’m in the Main Event of Final Stand, I’ll have to carry your ass before I take what’s rightfully mine. So I hope you enjoy it while it lasts, because come four weeks from now, you’ll be right back where you belong. A member of the job squad!

JBL turns to leave but just before he walks backstage he turns back around towards Aiden.

$JBL$
Oh and by the way, my new friend.....he says hello.

Aiden looks to JBL in confusion before he is suddenly turned around to be met face to face with.....

[Mauro Ranallo]
THAT’S ELIAS!

As soon as Aiden turns around to face the man behind him, he is struck hard right on the head with the guitar of Elias! As Aiden English falls down hard on the mat, Elias quickly jumps on top of him, delivering a flurry of punches to the man who laid him out backstage last week.

[Renee Young]
Oh come on, this is a ridiculous move by Elias! Aiden English is still recovering from his match!

[Corey Graves]
Ridiculous? Renee, Elias is getting his just deserts after what Aiden English did to him last week!

The last thing we see as Anarchy continues is a furious Elias standing tall over the body of our world champion, sending a clear message that he is not to be messed with.

As The First Anarchy of 2019 officially goes live within The Mississippi Coliseum, we kick off The New Year in classic fashion with an extravagant display of pyrotechnics much like we saw when the clock struck midnight and rung in The New Year.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 R3Lwn

Fans excitedly cheer and scream, ready to celebrate the start of another great year of XWL action, holding up signs in support of some of the most popular stars, but also in some of the underrated stars they hope will breakout in 2019. After all Johnny Gargano begin 2018 as The Miz's unwilling lackey, and ended it as CO-World Heavyweight Champion, so anything is truly possible within the next 365 days. As we pan across the audience showcasing more of their faces, we finally cut over to the top of the stage where our commentary booth is located, but...there seems to be something unexpected waiting for us...a NEW change to kickoff 2019...a third member of the team? Mauro Ranallo prepares to greet us with a smile, Corey Graves stands to his left...but...who is that to his right? It's none other than known backstage interviewer Renee Young?

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 FFFvAmX

[Mauro Ranallo]
Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen, and HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome to The First Anarchy of 2019, and with that...comes a HUGE change to XWL programming, we'd like to formally welcome to the booth full-time, our very own Renee Young!

[Renee Young]
Thank you, Mauro it is such an honor and a pleasure to join the two out of you out here. This has been a growing passion of mine since entering The Wrestling Business and I am so incredibly excited to expand my horizons and bring a new perspective to the table.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 45mgzwl

[Corey Graves]
We understand that our General Manager JBL approached you about joining the team recently, can you talk to us about what this means going forward?

[Renee Young]
He believes that with the focus of Women being so prominent nowadays, they need a voice at the table, and beyond that since I have interviewed nearly every Superstar in this company at some point I am able to bring a fresh understanding of what makes them tick. But do not fret, if my interviews are something you enjoy I will still perform my duties as an interviewer, just not as often as my main focus is exploring this new chapter.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Well Renee as your colleague I am so happy for you, and it will be a delight to have someone else at the table that maybe will call it like they see it, as opposed to through some sort of rose tinted glasses.

[Corey Graves]
Hey I call it like I see it too, it's not my fault if my vision is better than yours.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 Nyhgfst

[Renee Young]
Alright that's enough you two, we've got a show to talk about, don't we?

[Mauro Ranallo]
My apologies, Renee. Indeed we do, our Main-Event of course comes in response to what happened after last week's World Television Championship Match. When Jeff Hardy successfully defended against his brother Matt Hardy.

[Corey Graves]
Andrade Cien Almas, the man that wasn't pinned in the Number One Contenders Match that Matt Hardy earned his shot in, saw an opportunity and seized it, laying out The Champion and delivering a challenge.

[Renee Young]
Andrade Cien Almas of course backed up by the dangerous Zelina Vega who is determined to lead him to success in this coming year, and that success may come tonight as our General Manager has officially granted Andrade his opportunity at The World Television Championship tonight.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Can Jeff Hardy defend his title in back to back weeks? Or will a New Year ring in a NEW Champion? That comes later on in our Main-Event.

[Renee Young]
Now I wouldn't be doing my duty as a Woman if I didn't talk about the HUGE Tag-Team Match coming up tonight as well. For first time ever, The Women's Champion and The North American Champion will team up when Natalya & Toni Storm face-off against Number One Contender to Natalya's title Liv Morgan, and her best friend Sasha Banks who Natalya has had plenty of run-ins with in the year prior.

[Corey Graves]
It'll be interesting to see how Liv & Sasha fair against The 2 Champions of The Division.

[Mauro Ranallo]
But Toni & Natalya surely will be on the course for revenge because let's not forget Liv & Sasha ruined their Champion versus Champion Match 3 weeks ago tarnishing Toni's victory and robbing Natalya of a potential victory. A Storm of Champions with A LOT of HART stand in their way of victory tonight.

[Renee Young]
If I were Toni I'd be watching my back because let's not forget Shayna Baszler was crowned #1 Contender for The North American Championship a couple weeks ago and we know how much Shayna loves to make an impact.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I didn't think of that but you may be right...Shayna is a hard card to pick out of a deck.

[Corey Graves]
We could keep yammering on all night, but as both of you see, the show is ready to begin...and there is a certain Superstar that has wasted no time in making their way out to the ring before the show went live, and they are ready to address The XWL Universe.

After Corey's segue, Renee & Mauro shift their focus to the direction of the ring where now the live audio of the arena kicks in, and we find out that all this time the music belonging to Alexa Bliss has been playing throughout the arena, as Alexa herself stands in the center of the ring. She's got a microphone at her side as she displays a rather nervous stance. We of course can understand why given the fact that for the past month Ruby Riott has made it her mission in life to make sure everyone knows about Alexa's eating disorder, in as vulgar of a manner as possible. She hasn't addressed this in public, in fact she's seemingly gone out of her way to avoid talking about it, likely due to it being too difficult to do...but tonight, as she's here in front of all of us, we can only presume that her silence may be on the cusp of being broken.

[Mauro Ranallo]
The strength it takes for Alexa Bliss to be out here right now is not something your average person could have.

[Renee Young]
Absolutely, I unfortunately was present for the moment where Ruby Riott went WAY over the line, and I can honestly say I've never seen Alexa Bliss so disarmed by anyone.

[Corey Graves]
Without a doubt ever since Ruby Riott's "disorderly conduct" Alexa just hasn't been herself.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I think it's understandable, Corey...she just had her biggest darkest secret exposed to the world, and Ruby didn't just tell them...she tried to give us a visual aid.

[Renee Young]
Don't remind me...I wish I could have been quicker to get help, but it just...it caught everyone by such shock...nobody could believe what was happening, and thankfully for most of you the feed cut out, but for someone like me...that was live and in person for that...I still cannot get the picture let alone the sounds out of my head.

[Corey Graves]
Without a doubt one of the sickest displays I've ever seen in this business. You see a lot of people cross a lot of lines, but...this was difficult to hear, I can only imagine how difficult it's been for Alexa to have her history plastered out into the world.

As Alexa's eyes close, her theme finally stops, and her arm raises the mic up, taking a deep breath before she tries to address The XWL Universe. But as she stands there, her mouth remains closed, not quite mustering up the strength just yet.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 IpJu00h

Feeling like perhaps she's unable to go through with it, the fans in attendance start to rally support her way, beginning a mild yet growing "Alexa!" chant. Normally this would be just what someone needs to continue on...but her eyes slowly open, and she looks around...not overwhelmed by their support...but, almost more troubled than she already was.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 FhDhswZ

[Alexa Bliss]
I've been trying to find the strength to come out here for the past month. Because, as much as I want to shove my head into the ground and pretend everything's okay...all of you know very well know by now that everything is in fact not okay. I made a decision when I was signed to XWL to be someone that could never feel the way I once felt...to be, this...person I deep down I always wished I could be because surely that's easier than being me, right? I put up all of these walls to hide the person I used to be...and then, in one fell swoop...they all came crashing down, and suddenly I had nowhere to hide my...shame.

Her head lowers, as her eyes look at the floor, pausing briefly which causes the fans to react with more cheers of support, to which again she shakes off.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 Csu1KPx

[Alexa Bliss]
First of all, please...it's very kind of you to cheer right now, but we all know  I am not the kind of person that you should be empathizing with. I am not a good person, despite my backstory that's been thrown in all of your faces lately thanks to a certain someone that I won't give the satisfaction of saying her name...because it's obvious all she wants is attention, even if she has to stoop as low as she has to get it. I have gone out of my way to be someone that could never be compared to who I was. I gave up any sense of integrity, I forwent any redeeming quality I might could have because if all of you hated my guts, then...surely no one would ever care about me enough to find out about who I was before I became an XWL Superstar.

"WE CARE ABOUT YOU ALEXA!" One random fan shouts in the sea of audience members, this causes her to pause. This is uncharted territory for her, and to be brought to it the way that she has is not something she's exactly embracing.

I don't want your sympathy, it's part of why I withheld this...because this isn't who I want to be known as, I'd rather be known as the overdramatic bitch that you all loathe than to be known as the...insecure Woman that I really am.

Her face strains as she utters that last sentence, her grip over the mic tightening as if it were being used in a secondary purpose as a stress ball.

[Alexa Bliss]
I saw XWL as a new beginning for me. Maybe I wouldn't be exactly proud of who I would be, but at least...I could forget. I could move on and only some days would I feel like the person I used to be. Maybe I brought this on myself, maybe crying "bully" every week led to a real bully stepping up to the plate...but I thought surely no one would ever find out, right? But I guess no matter how hard you try to shield the world from something...eventually it's going to get out, and unfortunately for me...that came at Roulette when this person chose to cross a very fine line. A line that transcends being a "competitor" and just being an overall bad person. No matter how vindictive I was, or how cruel I may have been...even I knew there were some things you just don't do, there are words that are left unsaid. When I attacked people, it was for who they were in this company, not who they were when they were younger...when they were exposed to a world that they found themselves to be inferior to on a daily basis.

As each word of that last statement was said, you felt a pain in her tone, as if just talking about this is a struggle in itself, one that she's trying to stay the course on so that she can say what she came out here to say.

[Alexa Bliss]
This isn't an attack on Alexa Bliss, The "Wicked Witch Of XWL" This was an attack on Lexi Kaufman, the young girl that when she was a teenager, dealt with a serious disease that as has been previously said, nearly ended my life. This isn't a topic to sell an "event" or a "match" this is a topic that is real, that people, unfortunately, watching right now have dealt with or know someone that has dealt with this. You hate yourself, you want to be like some girl you don't even know because you see how she looks, and she looks so much better than you. You see a goal that seems so unattainable you'll do anything to reach it. And it starts out so simple, but quickly it consumes your life, and I am not okay with someone talking about it as if it's black and white. As if it's something that any of us aspire to ever deal with as if I deserve to be ridiculed over it. As if it's a means to provide you with any semblance of "humor."

Support from the fans does not wain, instead it begins to grow, as she delves into her difficult chapter in her life, fans are being respectful and understanding, which is all anyone can hope for when talking about something as serious as this, but still you can tell she's not comfortable with the whole idea of any of this, especially that she had to come out here and talk about it.

[Alexa Bliss]
I am not out here tonight to justify myself, or to give this open dialogue that maybe endears me to you. I'm out here because for the past month my escape from that lifetime ago...has been invaded by those very memories that this person for some reason feels it is justified to keep throwing in my face. I am out here in this ring to call this person out and ask them nicely to just stop. You've proven your point, you've destroyed my "character" you've pulled back the curtain on Alexa Bliss. But now it's time to be an adult, not a juvenile bully that thinks this is some kind of a joke...and be done with it. I don't want to fight you, because honestly? I couldn't be professional in a match with you right now if I tried. I just want to go on with my career, and you with yours. So please, come out here, apologize, and never utter my name, or anything about me out of your mouth again.

As if on cue, Ruby Riott's music begins to play as fans respond with an immediate negative reaction. However, instead of the usual arrogance and over-confidence, Ruby has her head down as if she was truly ashamed of her actions over the past weeks. After all, it was a new year, perhaps her resolution was to make up with the woman she had publicly tormented and embarrassed week after week.

Alexa, for the first time during this torment, was not cowering, was not backing away from Ruby. She firmly stood her ground, arms folded over her chest like the "Head Bitch in Charge" that was the Alexa Bliss the XWL Universe came to know and detest. Ruby beckoned for a microphone as she entered the ring, looking over towards Alexa.

[Ruby Riott]
You know what? You're right. You're right. I'm sorry, Alexa. What I've done? It's been absolutely awful. I've been nothing but a childlike, obnoxious bully. I've made your life an absolute living hell. I've tried my best to just...just wear you down and make you a shell of yourself. And for that...I'm sorry...

[Ruby Riott]
I'm sorry that I didn't do it sooner, you stuck-up, spoiled little brat!

As soon as Ruby proved her words to be insincere, the XWL Universe began to rain down boos and jeers towards her, only for Ruby to let the negative reaction bounce off her with a wicked, arrogant smirk on her lips.

[Ruby Riott]
What do I have to apologize for? For telling these people the truth? For showing these people that you've been full of crap this entire time? If you think I'm going to apologize for exposing you as the absolute fraud that you are, then maybe you puked out a few brain cells with your dinner when you were growing up! I have absolutely nothing to apologize for. You know who should be apologizing? You! You should apologize for being so damn full of yourself that you think the whole world should be bowing at your feet! But as soon as someone challenges you, you either throw one of your temper tantrums, or you cry and complain until you get what you want! You do exactly what my niece does...and the pathetic thing about it is, she's seven, and you're twenty-seven.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 YPGqI31

[Ruby Riott]
And the most ridiculous thing about it is, you're contracted by XWL to fight, yet here you are, once again, trying to avoid doing that very thing that you're being paid to do! Every time someone calls you out on your crap, you either run away or you hide behind someone else to fight your battles for you. You used to hide behind Nia Jax...then when Asuka was around, you hid behind Shayna Baszler. And now, you're trying to buddy up to Kairi Sane so that you can hide behind her!

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 0AeUi9R

[Ruby Riott]
You have all these people to fight for you, but have you ever so much as thanked any of these women for saving your ass every time? Did you even get Nia Jax a Christmas present? After all...she is supposed to be your "best friend", right?  You've had everything handed to you from day one, and you still want to play the victim?

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 OjdzqZ5

[Ruby Riott]
You can try your hardest to act like this proud, confident woman. But now? The wool isn't over the eyes of these sheep anymore. The world knows that you're nothing but a fraud. You're nothing but all smoke and mirrors. You're nothing but a shell of a woman. You're nothing but a scared little girl. You, Alexa Bliss...are just...nothing. Maybe your parents should've just let you die that night they rushed you to the hospital. After all...they must be so proud of what you've become.

In this moment, as Ruby coldly smirks, proud of herself for speaking in such a cruel way, as the audience boo'd louder and louder...Alexa's hands clenched forming fists, her eyes began to squint, and the timid nature we've seen lately is a thing of the past, as her demeanor goes from zero to a hundred a banshee like scream escaping her as she lunges at Ruby tackling her to the mat to a HUGE pop from the fans!

[Renee Young]
OH! Alexa Bliss has had ENOUGH!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Alexa Bliss is unleashing ALL FIVE FEET OF HER FURY ON RUBY RIOTT!

As Alexa unleashes her fury, the audience continue to scream excitedly, happy to see that after a month of Ruby Riott tearing her down, she is finally fighting back, and taking it to her bully. And like true bullies Ruby is completely shocked that her victim finally fought back, and it's all she can do to try and shield her face as Alexa's fists rain in like a hailstorm. Ruby tries to push her off of her, but as her feet began to rise up to add distance, Alexa thrusts her elbow straight down into Riott's leg and once again mounts her, delivering punch after punch as fans can't help but cheer louder as it goes on. Ruby said that Alexa hides behind people to avoid fighting herself, well be careful what you say, but because she certainly can't say that now as she's being pummeled by Little Miss Bliss herself.

It's gotta be an incredible feeling for Alexa, to be hitting the person that has taken great satisfaction in spreading her dark past to the entire world, The Woman that has relished being the one to do so. It's been hard to watch, difficult to stomach the dialogue and the deplorable actions, but as a fan, as a viewer watching this all go down...we feel a similar feeling that Alexa must be feeling herself. We see a Woman that maybe we didn't like, sticking up for herself in a way we've never seen her do before. It's still hard to fully believe the drastic change in our perception of her, but when you see someone torn down, you as a human yourself have this intangible need to feel for this person. Because there are some things that you do not even wish on your worst enemy, and the things that Ruby's said and done fall well within that category. Alexa was mean, she was vicious...very over dramatic, but hearing a bit of her story, why she's become this person we've seen...does in fact make us understand her a bit more, it makes us want to support a human like many of us as she stands up to the bully that had been terrorizing her. We're not exactly suddenly "Blissfits" but we do see her a different light than previously. We all know someone like Alexa, someone that's been verbally or even physically attacked because of their background, and while outside of The Wrestling World physically conduct isn't exactly the first route you want that person taking...we'd be lying if we said we wouldn't stand by them if they did. Because part of combating bullies like that is standing up for yourself, showing them that you aren't going to take it anymore.

As Alexa does just that, showing Ruby with fist after fist that she isn't going to take it anymore...Ruby gives up on shielding herself unsuccessfully, and instead takes a new approach...shoving her hand forward past the flying fists, straight into Alexa's mouth!

[Mauro Ranallo]
OH NO! NOT AGAIN!

[Corey Graves]
I don't like it personally, but it's certainly an effective way to neutralize this attack.

[Renee Young]
Effective? How about detestable? There are just some things you do not do, and that is right at the top of the list.

Alexa's jaw hinges open, as Ruby's hand starts to dig inside, immediately Bliss is taken back to that dark place...frozen, overwhelmingly filled with panic. Ruby at this time starts to smile, taking a sick delight in the fact that this is all it took to disarm Alexa. So much for standing up for herself, huh? Ruby inches closer, shoving her hand further, Alexa's hands claw at Ruby's arm, trying to pull it out but it's no use. Ruby's channeling Mankind in the most nightmarish way possible and Alexa's suddenly helpless. Bliss' eyes widen, and she starts to retch as her gag reflex is triggered...this can't be happening, we can't seriously be about to see this...Ruby's smile grows bigger and bigger, knowing she's about to do the literal unthinkable...when suddenly Alexa manages to snap out of her frightened state just enough to BITE DOWN ON RUBY'S HAND! Ruby lets out a loud scream as she pulls her hand out of Alexa's mouth, and Alexa still virtually spellbound and panicked quickly flees the ring rolling out under the bottom rope, collapsing to the outside floor.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I can't believe what we almost just saw...what in the hell is wrong with Ruby Riott?

[Corey Graves]
I've got nothing, Mauro...it's a bit too far over the line for me.

[Renee Young]
I should hope so, anyone that thinks what's going on or what Ruby's done is okay really needs to evaluate their morals as a human being.

Ruby clutches her hand, furiously screaming in a muffled tone before pulling her hand away, revealing a distinct set of bite marks that nearly broke the skin of Ruby's knuckles. This seems to have only angered Ruby further, she quickly steps out onto the apron then jumps to the floor, foaming at the mouth as she spots Alexa crawling to the steps to perhaps use as support to pull herself up. Ruby, however, sees a different purpose for the steel steps. She yanks Alexa up by her hair, then throws her shoulder first into the steps causing Bliss to fall against them clutching her shoulder in instant agony. But that's where her assault takes a pause, turning away from Alexa and to the ring apron which she tosses up and begins to search under it for something, but what? Our question is quickly answered as she pulls out...THE BLISS STICK.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Oh no...

[Renee Young]
Ugh, I can't watch...

[Corey Graves]
This isn't going to end well...

Fans angrily boo as Ruby's hand glides along The Bliss Stick, admiring it's bedazzled wonder...deviously smiling as she next shifts her sights to Alexa. Bliss, now on her knees, sees what's in her future and begins to plead, apologizing for her actions, anything to avoid the wrath of her own personalized weapon of choice, a weapon she's used to inflict pain upon her victims in the past, perhaps this is poetic justice in some sort of blissfully twisted way. Her attempts prove futile as they fall on deaf ears, Ruby doesn't care for her pleas or her apologies, she just wants to make the shorter woman suffer by any means necessary, her actions in the past proving that there isn't a length she won't go to for the opportunity to make that dream a reality. Ruby takes a hold of the infamous Bliss Stick with both hands and without hesitation, delivers a cruel and calculated strike to Bliss' hurt shoulder, Alexa feeling the effects of her own weapon used against her for the first time since its introduction, causing her to release the sound of unbridled pain and the Bliss Stick to leave a subtle yet painful mark on her shoulder and the part of her hand it unintentionally caught along the way.

[Renee Young]
The Bliss Stick is Alexa's form of empowerment, it evens the playing field for someone of her size, and for it to be used against her is really pouring salt into the wounds Ruby's made.

[Mauro Ranallo]
This just isn't going to end well for Little Miss Bliss...

With Bliss' focus being on the pain that's centralized on her shoulder, Ruby wastes little time beginning her dissection of her victim, dealing a quick yet precise strike to Alexa's exposed abdomen, causing another subtle mark to appear and a shriek of pain to escape her mouth. Ruby, clearly enjoying this too much, begins to twirl the Bliss Stick in her hand as she has an internal discussion of where her next strike should be delivered to as Bliss is now doubled over. By this point, the live audience in attendance is loudly booing The Voice of Anarchy for her actions throughout the entirety of her time out in the ring, but this is another low for Ruby. Upon coming to a decision, Ruby slowly lines up the Bliss Stick vertically across it's owners back as Bliss is still doubled over, feeling the effects of the first two shots she received. A sick smirk comes across Ruby's face as she begins to lift the stick above her head, the boos turning into cheers causing Ruby to think that she's finally converted the crowd to her cause...but all that goes up in flames as she's sent to the thinly layered padding with an Interceptor, Kairi's signature spear.

[Renee Young]
Oh thank god, Kairi Sane to the rescue once again for Alexa Bliss.

[Mauro Ranallo]
The Pirate Princess has been an unlikely ally for Alexa over the last month.

[Corey Graves]
Which I still don't understand, what are we supposed to make of this Renee?

[Renee Young]
Honestly I haven't had a chance to really delve too deep into that myself, I tried to interview Alexa several weeks ago but she was still too emotionally frozen over everything, and that's where Kairi first made her assist to Alexa. If I had to presume I'd say Kairi Sane is the type of person that regardless of who you are stands up for what is right. So regardless of any previous issues she may have developed with Alexa, she couldn't stand by and do nothing.

Kairi stands above the now downed Ruby Riott, who is holding her abdomen in pain, an ironic sight to say the least, as Sane picks up where Ruby left off, taking a hold of the grounded Bliss Stick, delivering a few stray shots towards the downed Riott to return the favor for the assault prior to her arrival, before turning her attention towards her downed ally in Alexa Bliss. She drops down to a knee and tries to help Bliss up to her feet, causing the latter to instinctively fight against it, not knowing that Kairi has come to her aid. A few seconds pass before Alexa looks up, seeing her savior in the form of The Pirate Princess assisting her to her feet. Kairi returns the Bliss Stick to its owner, causing Bliss to look at it for a second before quickly wielding it in her hands and hit the still downed Ruby Riott with a clean and calculated shot, falling back down to her knees, clearly feeling the effects of both the physical and emotional pain Ruby has inflicted on her. Sane drops down to a knee and helps Alexa back up to her feet, using the apron to keep Bliss vertical. Ruby crawls on her hands and knees towards the entrance ramp, sitting halfway up the ramp clutching her ribs with a look of hatred towards both Kairi Sane and Alexa Bliss before they're suddenly interrupted as XWL's Assistant to the General Manager, Drake Maverick arrives from the back clutching a microphone, security quickly making their way down the ramp to separate Ruby from Kairi and Alexa.

[Drake Maverick]
That's enough! That's enough! You three have been causing far too much of a ruckus on Mr. Layfield's program to let this continue any further! By executive order of Mr. John Bradshaw Layfield, a match-up has been added to the card for our upcoming special event, Breakthrough. At this event, it will be Ruby Riott...versus Alexa Bliss...versus Kairi Sane in a Triple Threat Match!

The crowd cheers this turn of events as Kairi and Alexa look on. Ruby Riott, however, is absolutely furious, quickly rising to her feet and screaming about how unfair this match was, claiming audibly as the camera focuses on her that "THIS IS BASICALLY A HANDICAP MATCH, YOU LITTLE TWERP!" while still clutching at her ribs. As she attempts to make a beeline for Drake Maverick, however, the Assistant to the General Manager quickly makes his way backstage, security and XWL backstage officials still doing their best to keep her separated from Alexa, Kairi, and now Drake Maverick. As we fade into the next segment, the camera is focused on Kairi and Alexa. Kairi looks on concerned at this turn of events while Alexa has a soft smile on her face.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Mama Mia, what a match coming up at Breakthrough

[Renee Young]
Not necessarily Alexa's ideal layout given her recent friendship that's developed with Kairi...but perhaps having Kairi in there will prevent her from being emotionally disarmed by Ruby like in previous weeks.

[Corey Graves]
Maybe so, but let's remember at the end of the night it's a Triple Threat...will their new bond survive a match where sure, their obvious target is Ruby...but what about when Ruby's down? It's a match on Pay-Per-View...the last Pay-Per-View before Final Stand...a victory there means a lot.

[Renee Young]
Don't play instigator, Corey.

[Corey Graves]
All I'm saying is...yeah, mostly it's a Handicap for Ruby Riott who has cause trouble for both Women this past month. But, Alexa & Kairi were just rivals a month ago, are we to believe those previous issues don't resurface at some point?

[Mauro Ranallo]
I think there's nothing to worry about, if it comes down to them again then we'll see a match much like we did last week. Before Ruby had to go and spoil that of course...

[Renee Young]
Speaking of Ruby, she may not even make it to Breakthrough because she's in a match against Nia Jax tonight...and while The Irre-Blisstible Force may have been somewhat fractured last week, Nia is ever so protective of Alexa. Tonight she has her chance to end Ruby once and for all, especially after she had the nerve to try and sneak into Nia's locker room last week and whisper sweet nothings to her. The absolutely nerve, Nia is going to wreak havoc on her tonight.

[Mauro Ranallo]
That match and much more to come, when the first Anarchy of 2019 continues!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Wait, what?

[Corey Graves]
Well this is rather unexpected..

As Kairi prepared to deliver The Insane Elbow Drop...suddenly the theme belonging to Alexa's best friend Nia Jax sounds throughout the building, bringing about boos as the audience knows that good intentions haven't brought her out. All eyes shift to the stage, including Kairi's as Nia steps out from the back, then begins to walk down the ramp as the imposing force that she is.

[Mauro Ranallo]
What's she doing? She seemed pretty upset at Alexa earlier tonight.

[Corey Graves]
I think it's obvious, Mauro...she's showing Alexa what a TRUE best friend does. And that is coming out here no matter what and supporting that friend, because that is friendship. She had a valid gripe, Alexa didn't join Nia for her #1 contenders match to The North American Championship last week, and that lack of support led to Nia's loss to Shayna Baszler.

[Mauro Ranallo]
But surely a friend would also understand why Alexa may have been uncomfortable coming out here due to the issues she's currently dealing with because of Ruby Riott.

[Corey Graves]
Like Nia said, those issues didn't stop Alexa from coming out here to play "hero" to Kairi Sane, someone that up until a month ago was Alexa's rival.

[Mauro Ranallo]
But it's obvious why Alexa tried to save Kairi, Kairi saved her from Ruby, she couldn't just stay back there and do nothing.

[Corey Graves]
Look I like Alexa, but all I'm saying is...I think Nia's very justified in her anger with Alexa, but despite that anger...she is still coming out here to aid her friend with support, because that is what friends do.

Kairi's focus remained solely on Nia who finally reached the bottom of the ramp and placed both of her hands on the side of the ring, staring up at Kairi with a devious gleam in her eyes. Kairi of course was assaulted by Nia the past couple of weeks, jealousy consuming her which has left Alexa in the middle and as Alexa recovered, no longer in danger of being hit by Kairi's elbow...she looks up to see Kairi staring at someone on the side of the ring, and there Nia is standing on the ring apron. Alexa gets up with a confused look on her face. "Nia, what are you doing?" Nia's fist began to press into her palm as she looked at Kairi, but Alexa shakes her head, not on board with Nia's idea. She pulls herself up then walks over to Nia. "Listen I appreciate you being out here but please don't get involved."

[Corey Graves]
A little ungrateful isn't she?

[Mauro Ranallo]
Because she doesn't want Nia to intervene in this match?

[Corey Graves]
You say intervene, I say support...and she's flat out telling her she doesn't want her support.

[Mauro Ranallo]
You're stretching the truth an awful lot there, Corey.

Kairi dismounted, returning to the ring, as the official orders both of them to back up and let him handle this. Alexa and Kairi distance themselves, Alexa still looking at Nia with a "please" like expression...as the ref's back turns and he focuses on Nia. "Get off the apron now or I'll have to disqualify her." Nia starts to pull herself down, when suddenly...Alexa's struck from behind and shoved into Kairi Sane, their heads butting together from the forceful shove...as the fans boo mercilessly because the opportunistic Ruby Riott used this moment of brief unintentional distraction to swoop in and lay both Women out with a quickness that the referee isn't aware of. She then smirks, and grabs Kairi's arm, dragging her on top of Bliss before dropping down and rolling out of the ring, making a swift exit from everyone's vision. Nia's feet land on the floor, seeing this...but instead of speaking up to inform the official of what just happened...her mouth closes as soon as it started to open, as likely Alexa's words of "don't intervene" replayed in her head, and she began to back away, as if she had seen nothing happen. The official turns around, seeing the pin and rushes to the count

1....

2....

3!!!!

[Mauro Ranallo]
Are you kidding me? She just let that happen.

[Corey Graves]
Isn't that what Alexa wanted? Nia to stay out of the match?

[Mauro Ranallo]
Because it was supposed to be a one on one, all she ended up doing was distracting the official which allowed Ruby Riott to wreak havoc on this match and ruin it entirely. Where was Nia's support there?

[Corey Graves]
Like I said, you can't pick and choose when you want to be a friend, she didn't want her friends help, so Nia respected her wishes and bowed out. It's not her fault that someone else used that time to interfere.

Both Women remain lying on the mat as Kairi's theme sounds "victorious." The official seems confused why both are still down, but the focus shifts away from the ring, and to the top of the ramp where Nia was venturing her way back to the stage, not even taking a moment now that the match was over to tend to her friend. Alexa wanted her to stay out of it, so Nia's taken that phrasing very seriously, not turning around to be sure she's okay, but instead just walking up the ramp and finally through the curtain. Once Nia's gone, we see a confused Kairi Sane dazed but conscious looking around as her theme plays, and she's lying on top of Alexa. Her first reaction instead of celebrating, is to tend to Alexa who she herself began to come to as the scene closed out. Their rubber match was spoiled by The Grinch that is Ruby Riott on this Holiday Night, first their gift giving exchange, and now their match. How long can Ruby's antics last before enough is enough?

santa

Anarchy's special "Christmas" edition resumes as we spot none other than Alexa Bliss somewhere backstage, with a covered plate and a special "Merry Blissmas t-shirt to get into the festive spirit. Of course earlier she had a rare spat with best friend Nia Jax who was very hurt over Alexa's lack of support for her #1 Contenders Match last week. Alexa tried to apologize but Nia was having none of it, telling Alexa to just leave her alone. Perhaps Alexa's on her way to deliver a treat as a second go of mending things with Nia? After the month she's had she really could use a night like this, to just forget about her troubles which seems to be what she's attempting to do. But as she approaches a locker room, her fist inches closer to the door before she pulls it away, perhaps second thoughts?

[Alexa Bliss]
What am I doing? She doesn't wanna see me...I wouldn't wanna see me...I should just go, all I seem to do nowadays is just make things worse.

It's still strange to see Alexa so void of confidence...but recent run-ins with Ruby Riott seem to have shaken her to her core, and stripped her of the attitude she un-apologetically had. She turns to leave, but again...stops freezing her tracks as her head turns back to the door.

[Alexa Bliss]
No, what's wrong with you, Alexa? This isn't you, just knock on the door, what's the worst that could happen? You have good intentions, just go for it.

Having talked herself back into it, Alexa's fist returns to the door, and this time she successfully knocks on it, taking a deep breath as she positions both hands under the plate to properly present whatever is on it to the person behind the door. A few moments that must feel like an eternity to Bliss pass before the doorknob begins to twist, causing Alexa to release a quick sigh and compose herself, a seemingly genuine smile appearing on her face. The door is slowly cracked open, causing the woman behind it to be revealed as Kairi Sane, albeit a slightly confused version of her but The Pirate Princess nonetheless.

After her failed attempt to face her fears in the form of Ruby Riott the week prior, Bliss' unexpected heart seemed to be in the right place when she tried to repay the favor by standing up to Ruby much like Kairi did the week before that, causing the rivals to share a common enemy as the old proverb goes. While she did fail in her main goal of standing up to the vile Ruby Riott, Bliss would successfully buy The Pirate Princess enough time to recover and attempt to shift the tides of battle but Ruby's ability to perceive a situation worked to her advantage, causing Kairi Sane to spear her apparent ally in Alexa Bliss instead of her intended target, inflicting as much punishment on herself, after her defeat prior to all this unfolding, as she did to Bliss.

Now the woman she inadvertently speared is standing before her, an apparent gift in her hands and an almost uncharacteristic smile etched on her face. Seeing this as a chance to make amends, the door slowly but surely swinging open, Kairi motioning for Bliss to enter the room. Alexa doesn't waste any time crossing the threshold in the shape of a door frame and making her way into the room, causing Sane to close the door behind her and returns to her former location as Bliss stands besides her, the smile on her face not wavering.

Kairi Sane
Before you say anything, I just want to apologize for spearing you last week. It wasn't meant for you, it was meant for Ruby. So as an apology, I got you this.

Kairi rises from her seat and takes a few steps before reaching her destination: A wall with a row of wooden lockers. The specific one she walked towards is housing her signature apparel, her trademark coat, her unmistakable pirate hat, and at the bottom of it sits her most prized possession in the form of her pirate wheel. She takes a hold of the side of her coat, moving it slightly to reveal a perfect hiding place and pulling out a neatly wrapped box. Bliss' eyes light up at the possibilities that could lie within the secret box, it could be anything, even a boat. She takes a few steps back to her original location before handing over this mystery box to Alexa, who places her own apparent gift down on the nearby table before bringing her ear close to the box, shaking it to decipher the contents without having to open it. This effort proves futile as no audible noise escapes the box, forcing Little Miss Bliss to find out the old fashioned way: By opening it.

Bliss begins to visually measure up the box, unsure of the best way to go on about opening with the most efficiency. A few moments pass before her decision is made, opting to rip off the bow at the top, with as much respect as she could as her gift giver is still in the room. She pulls it off and places it next to her covered tray before quickly finding the wrapping's weak spot and quickly exploiting it, causing the box to be in its most base form. The unmarked box soon meets its match when Alexa drives her nail into the tape with relative ease, causing its hold to be weakened over the box, leading to Bliss forcing it open, her jaw dropping when she finds the hidden treasure within.

[Alexa Bliss]
I-is...is this really for me?

With one hand still on the box, Alexa brings her other hand up to her mouth, almost at a loss for words at the gift she has just received.

[Alexa Bliss]
Kairi, I...

Speechless, Alexa's eyes remain locked into the object in the box, that warm fuzzy feeling being apparent as she slowly reaches into the box, wanting to enjoy this moment for as long as she possibly could. What could only be described as a “Blissified” Pirate Hat, Alexa is almost in awe as she has the hat in both her hands, the box serving its purpose and being tossed aside as Bliss continues to examine the hat in its entirety. A thin layer of glitter lines a majority of the hat, the combination of red, black and pink feathers make up the top portion of the hat while the named colors are in a camouflage like pattern throughout, intermixed with one another. And the proverbial “pièce de résistance” being the “Little Miss Bliss” logo on both sides of the pirate hat, causing Alexa to almost shed tears of joy at the gift she's just received.

[Alexa Bliss]
I LOVE IT! It's even got glitter, and is that a bit of pink? It's like, me...but...in the form of a hat...I don't know what to say.

Not wasting any time putting her thoughtful gift to use, Bliss runs a hand through her hair before lifting the hat above her head, lining it up before placing it down. She notices a nearby mirror hung up on the wall and quickly darts towards it to see how her gift looks first hand.

[Alexa Bliss]
It's a perfect fit, wow thank you. I don't know what I did to deserve this but after the month I've had...this is just what I needed to feel a little more like myself again.

After admiring both herself and her gift, Alexa begins to make her way back to Kairi to return the favor and give The Pirate Princess the gift she walked in with but a few steps later, she locks eyes with Kairi's coat in the locker, an idea hatching in her head. A split second later, Bliss is standing in front of the coat for a moment before pulling it off the hook and throwing it over herself, putting her arms in the appropriate sleeves and taking hold of the pirate wheel at the bottom of the locker. Instead of interjecting herself into the apparent situation, Kairi opts to see this play out before she decides the course of action to take. Having the wheel in her hand, Alexa spins it and begins to walk around the room as if she were steering an actual ship, allegedly sneaking an eggnog run before making her way to The Pirate Princess. She continues to make her way around the room, almost as if the Christmas Spirit is oozing out of her, a smile appearing on Kairi's face as she enjoys the uncharacteristic antics of Little Miss Bliss. A few more moments pass before she's heard... laughing? An unknown sound to The Pirate Princess, Alexa seems to be genuinely enjoying herself, almost as if she's in a state of Bliss. This lasts for a few more moments before she snaps out of it as the realization sets in that her gift still hasn't found its destination.

[Alexa Bliss]
Oh! I almost forgot.

Alexa quickly makes her way to Kairi, placing the wheel down on the table next to the bow and lifting her still covered tray, extending it towards The Pirate Princess.

[Alexa Bliss]
I'm sorry, how rude of me...I got you something too. It's not as great as this hat, but it's the thought that counts, right?

Kairi pulls off the cover with relative ease as the expression on her face says it all: It is, in fact, the thought that counts. On the plate sits a tray of cookies in the shape of pirate wheels that together form a much larger pirate wheel with an alternating pattern of red and green frosting in the spirit of Christmas. Kairi's hand slowly reaches for a cookie, hesitant to disrupt the perfection of the pirate wheel but if anybody would have to do it, it'd have to be her. She pulls a customized cookie from the tray and goes to take a bite, but before she could, it's snatched away from her, causing both women to shift their attention to the culprit.

The camera pans to the left to reveal none other than Ruby Riott, the cause of torment for both Kairi Sane and Alexa Bliss over the past number of weeks. Ruby is seen with a black Santa hat on her head, the words "Merry Kiss-My-Ass" printed in large letters on the white brim. As the camera pans over her shoulder, you can see that she has placed a Christmas tree in the locker room has been spray-painted completely black. The "Voice of Anarchy" has a smirk on her face as she takes the tray of cookies in her opposite hand, chuckling to herself as she looks towards an angry Kairi and Alexa.

[Ruby Riott]
Aw...you two are so cute, it almost makes me want to puke. Don't worry, Alexa, you don't have to join me...I'm sure you already did that enough today. But, hey, these cookies look good! I know you're just going to let them go to waste, so maybe they're better off with me...or you know...maybe I should help join in the festivities. After all...I know how to throw a great party! They're always...a riot.

Ruby smirks before biting into the cookie Kairi had selected. Her eyebrows raised up as she acknowledged that they did indeed taste pretty good. However, as she finished the cookie, she suddenly slammed the tray onto the floor, sending the cookies scattering at her feet! Alexa and Kairi look on with a mixture of anger and despair as Ruby begins to stomp on the pirate-themed Christmas cookies, laughing at the chaos she's caused before kicking the tray across the room.

[Ruby Riott]
Aw...did I ruin your little Christmas party? Did big bad Wuby Wiott hurt your wittle feewings? Are you two going to cry? Here...let me make it better.

Ruby snickers before grabbing a jug of milk that Alexa had sat next to the tray of cookies. Looking up at Alexa's head, she quickly yanks the glitter-covered pirate hat off her head, taking the milk and beginning to pour it into the hat! Alexa's eyes bug out of her head as she and Kairi share a look of outrage before Ruby suddenly stuffs the hat back onto Alexa's head, causing the cold milk to drench her head. Alexa starts to shiver and sniffle as milk runs down her hair and face, this image causing Ruby to nearly double over with laughter, slapping her knee as she laps up the fact that she has broken Alexa yet again.

[Ruby Riott]
I think your cute little party has just been cancelled. Better luck next year...oh, and have a holly jolly "Blissmas!"

Having thoroughly ruined said "Blissmas" for Alexa and Kairi, Ruby cackles to herself as she shoulder checks both Kairi and Alexa on her way out of the locker room, leaving Kairi rushing to grab paper towels to help clean Alexa up as her make-up runs down her cheeks with a mixture of tears and milk ruining it. However, while Kairi is able to help Alexa dry off, the glittery pirate hat is completely ruined, as are Alexa's pirate cookies. As Kairi wraps an arm around a sullen Alexa, however, the sound of a male clearing his throat is heard as JBL has wheeled into the room, followed closely by his dearest friend Virgil, both surveying the absolute chaos that Ruby Riott has left in her wake. But as much as both Alexa and Kairi want to be upset they simply can’t. Not now. For as JBL rolls in it's all they can do but to restrain themselves from giggling, and the reason why you ask? Well it seems JBL and Virgil are very much in the holiday spirit as JBL is fully decked out in black boots, a red suit with white fur, black buttons, and black belt. He is wearing a fake white beard/mustache combo, and sitting upon his head is the red and white Santa hat. And Virgil is right with him wearing a fully decked out green elf suit with the skin tight leggings, the ridiculous curled-toed elf shoes, the green button up shirt, pointed elf ears, and a green elf hat. Virgil also has a red sack draped across his shoulder. Both of them have no idea just how ridiculous they look, or at least they don’t seem to care?

JBL
What the Ho-Ho-Hell is going on in here little ones? I was making my way down the hall to deliver presents to all the good little boys and girls of XWL when I heard some sort of commotion in my—— I mean the handsome, powerful and Intelligent General Managers locker room here. And by the looks of it you two have been very Naughty. However it’s Christmas time, the most wonderful time of the year, so I’m willing to give both of you the Benefit of the doubt. Elf Virgil, would you please grab the nice list so that I may check it for these two little ones names?

Elf Virgil reaches into his red sack before pulling out a list labeled “The Nice List”. Down the list are names of XWL superstars and the gifts they will be receiving. He holds it in front of JBL.....I mean Santa, for him to read. As “Santa” skims it. He sees both Alexa’s and Kairis names, however he sees this as an opportunity.

JBL
Oh no... It seems my assumptions were correct. I can’t find either of your names of my nice list. It seems you two have been very, very naughty this year. I should give you both a spanking, or maybe a big lump...of coal.

“Elf” Virgil looks to “Santa”, reminding him kids watch this show. Alexa and Kairi look confused, however it is ignored as “Santa” clears his throat and continues.

JBL
However, seeing as to how it’s Christmas time, Santa is in the mood of forgiveness. And I’d like to see those frowns turn upside down, that is why I do have a gift for the both of you. Something to get you both in the spirit of Christmas cheer. My gift to you is.....That you will both be allowed to compete tonight, in a match, one on one! Merry Christmas little ones!

And with that “Santa” rolls out of the locker room and down the hallway followed by his “Elf”, leaving Alexa and Kairi alone, confused, yet looking forward to the competition between them later tonight.

*The cameras shift to the backstage area where North American Champion Toni Storm is shown.  The championship is worn proudly around her waist and she looks down at it with a smile before this interview begins.*

[Interviewer]
Toni Storm, last week in the main event of Anarchy you picked up a victory over the Women's Champion Natalya which is no mean feat...

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 D5xSXcw

[Toni Storm]
You know, I did pick up the victory last week, but it was a little controversial.  It wasn't a clear cut win.  Everybody knows that the pesky Liv Morgan was the deciding factor in who won and who lost.  Nattie and I were killing it out there... it was probably up there as one of the greatest matches of my career and I'm sure she feels the same... but Liv just had to stick her nose into something that she had no business being involved in to ruin it.  I'm a little upset that's how things went down, but I think I showed that I can hang with the best of them and that the North American Champion is just as good as the Women's Champion.  Plus my door is always open for Nattie to request a rematch against me at any time.  I'd love for Round 2 to happen.

[Interviewer]
You obviously have a lot of respect for Natalya...

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 RefwUJ2

[Toni Storm]
Of course, I mean, how can you not?  She's pretty much been the embodiment of this division for years now and she's in the midst of one of the most dominant title reigns of all time.  I'm pretty sure that everyone on the roster, male or female, whether they admit it or not, has some respect for Natalya.  She has the heart and the resilience that most can only dream of.  Just look at last week when she survived the cash-in after wrestling me for over an hour... how can you not respect that?   To be standing alongside her at the top of the division - both of us as champions - it just really still has not registered in my tiny little brain that this is actually happening.  I know I'm good, but it's still hard to believe that I'm living my dream right now.  I pinch myself every morning when I wake up to make sure that this is real and is actually happening.

*Storm beams and you can't help but love that she doesn't believe her current situation.*

[Interviewer]
And earlier tonight we saw Shayna Baszler become #1 contender for your North American Championship.  The two of you will face off at the next XWL special event Breakthrough, in what is sure to be a match to remember.

*The joy fades from Storm's face as she becomes all business now that her title and new-found contender have been mentioned.*

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 YWMoKA9

[Toni Storm]
Congratulations to Shayna on emerging victorious from the #1 Contender Tournament.  She did well to overcome Ember and Nia...  but that feeling she has right now of being a winner... it won't last for long.

*The focus and determination on the face of the champion is clear as she continues.*

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 YIkPlXT

[Toni Storm]
I've already beaten Shayna once to win the North American Title.  I'll do it again at Breakthrough to defend it.  I have her all figured out despite what she says about making a mistake at Roulette that cost her everything.  The only mistake Shayna has made is by believing her own delusions that she has what it takes to take my championship away from me.  You'd think pinning her to the mat once already would've given her a nice dose of reality but she continues to inhabit her own little fantasy world.  It's kind of a shame because the whole tough-girl MMA gimmick with the playing cards... it has potential.  I kind of dig it.  But the delusions are killing me.  Maybe Shayna can one day live up to being the dominant force she claims to be, but right now, she's living in my time.  Toni... Time!

*Storm takes a moment to let her words sink in to the minds of anyone watching - the fans, the roster and especially Baszler.  She wants everyone to believe what she just said as much as she believes it herself.  Storm is full of confidence as she delivers her final words.*

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 KX7vPuD

[Toni Storm]
At Roulette, I went all in and I came away with the ultimate jackpot at Shayna's expense.  At Breakthrough it's going to the same again.  The Ace Of Spades will be trumped as the Storm once again rolls into the arena.  Lightning will strike twice as I pick up the W and remain THE North American Champion!

*Storm unstraps the NA title from around her waist and holds it up close to her face, staring intently into the camera with a glint in her eye as the scene slowly fades to black.*

*Anarchy continues...*

The building erupts with excitement and love as the theme of none other than our Women's Champion Natalya sounds throughout the arena. Fans are extra supportive tonight due to the incredible showing she had on last week's episode in The Main-Event. Unfortunately the antics of Sasha Banks and her best friend Liv Morgan spoiled what was an amazing Champion Vs Champion Match...but what happened after, was the proverbial bell being rung to signal the end of Natalya's dominant reign when Miss Money In The Bank Carmella ran down the ramp to cash in. Natalya somehow had it in her to kick out of a Superkick, and when Carmella went for the well once more...Natalya caught her foot, and locked in The Sharpshooter which saw a struggle that spanned for minutes. Carmella refusing to give up, Natalya unable to apply as much pressure as normal, until Natalya gave one last ditch effort to retain by transitioning into the bridged variation of The Sharpshooter and Carmella was left with no choice but to tap. It's not long before The Queen Of Harts herself steps out from the back witth The Women's Title proudly over her shoulder.

[Mauro Ranallo]
There she is, one of the most dominant Champions we have ever seen in XWL, Male or Female.

[Corey Graves]
I still am in awe of her performance last week, every time I think she's proven her merit as Champion, she somehow exceeds it and proves how deserving she truly is to carry that title. I'm heartbroken for Carmella, but I've gotta give Natalya credit for something I didn't believe she could do.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Natalya won The Women's Championship from Ruby Riott who of course gained possession of that title because of Money In The Bank, a contract she cashed in on then dominant Women's Champion April on the very first Anarchy of 2018. I think it was hard to imagine history not repeating itself.

[Corey Graves]
When someone fails for as long as 2,945 days...you automatically assume they surely can't build much of a reign if they manage to turn things around. But, for 13 months now...Natalya has remained unbeaten on Pay-Per-View, become the only Champion in XWL's history to successfully retain inside The Elimination Chamber, she was apart of The First Final Stand Main-Event to feature Women, a match that earned The Slammy for Match Of The Year, where that rivalry was awarded Rivalry Of The Year...a reign that earned her not only Superstar Of The Year but Champion Of The Year on top of that. AND NOW, you can add successfully defended against The Money In The Bank contract to that ever growing list of achievements. No one has had a better 2018 than Natalya.

Beaming from ear to ear, she happily descends down the ramp, high-fiving as many fans as she can for all of their support and belief in her that even led to this amazing year. She nears the end of the ramp when she spots a sign that says "NATTIE'S #1 FAN" to which she makes an effort to approach the sweet little girl and give her a hug.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Natalya's story connects with the masses of The XWL Universe, the struggle, the heart, and perseverance she had to keep going on in the face of defeat, after every time that she fell flat on her face. She is the success story that you want to see in real life, and the fact that she's living proof that nothing truly is impossible is just one of the many reasons these fans love her.

[Corey Graves]
Beyond the support, she's shown she's a competitor unlike many others, overcoming obstacle after obstacle, and still finding time to try and empower the division...it's unexpected to see things last as long as they have, and after her defense last week against The Money In The Bank briefcase...I struggle to even believe that it's going to come to an end anytime soon.

[Mauro Ranallo]
The division of course has undergone this transformation of it's own, incredible talent joining weekly, but up to this night anyways if someone hopes to truly be the one to end this reign it's going to take a lot of grit and determination to combat the grit and determination of our Women's Champion.

Natalya walks around the ring, touching hands with the fans that extended them toward her along the barricade, then steps up onto the apron and lowers her title off of her shoulder and into both hands as she longingly stares at it.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 09PnCFG

Joyously she plants a kiss on it, proud to still be able to call it hers, then grabs both ends of it with her hands, and thrusts it into the sky as the fans again let out loud cheers in response to this feel good sight.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 W0hY0pZ

[Mauro Ranallo]
For 8 months Natalya has carried The Women's Championship, and with last week now behind her...you have to ask what...or specifically...who...is next to step up to challenge her.

[Corey Graves]
We were supposed to find out that last week, but with the confusion of Sasha Banks and Liv Morgan coming out, and then The Miss Money In The Bank we didn't really get an answer.

[Mauro Ranallo]
I for one find it hard to believe that JBL wasn't trying to set Natalya up for failure by throwing her against North American Champion Toni Storm in a match he knew would be grueling, to allow Carmella the perfect opportunity to utilize the contract she had because of him.

[Corey Graves]
I think you're reaching, Mauro...

[Mauro Ranallo]
He doesn't seem to appreciate Natalya's character like all of us do, so I wouldn't put it past him. But ultimately it doesn't matter because if that was his intention, it failed...so hopefully tonight we'll figure out what is next for Natalya's reign as Women's Champion.

Savoring the moment a few more seconds, Natalya lowers her title back down then enters into the ring, taking a step toward the ropes to ask for a microphone. One is quickly passed to her and she makes her way to the center of the ring, replacing her title over her shoulder, and slightly raising her mic as her theme dies down. But before she can think of uttering a word, the newfound silence is broken by a thunderously growing "YOU DESERVE IT!" chant.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 CxNKzwL

As those endearing words echo through the arena, her smile remains as warm as ever, unable to take her eyes off of The Championship she's still so grateful to have with her tonight. It means everything to hear these words, to have The Women's Championship still in her possession, and after letting the fans express themselves for a little longer, she raises her mic to address them.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 AHn318f

[Natalya]
You'd think this would get easier...that I wouldn't find myself so awestruck by your support but honestly I'm glad it doesn't...I'm glad your chants and your love still feels as incredible as it did the night after Emergence when I stood her proudly as your new Women's Champion. I am so grateful that you have been along for the ride on this journey from the beginning...and from the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything...I would not be in this ring, with THIS...if it wasn't for all of you amazing fans!

They respond with mutual love right back at her as she continues.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 2XSjmk0

[Natalya]
For 8 fantastic months I have reigned as your Women's Champion and I still get butterflies when I'm about to step through that curtain, I still feel a rush of adrenaline when I have this title around my waist, or over my shoulder...it's the best feeling in the world, made even better when I get to share these moments with you. Last week was not easy, not by a long shot was what happened in the realm of things I expected, much less thought I would be able to overcome...but despite a grueling match, despite two Women spoiling that match...despite the beat down that followed, despite Carmella running down that ramp to cash in her Money In The Bank contract...despite The Super kick that still has my jaw reeling...I am STILL YOUR WOMEN'S CHAMPION!

Her passion filled words further rile up the fans into an excited frenzy as she briefly raises her title into the air.

[Natalya]
Last week could have been the end of this...the finale of my reign that was 2,945 days in the making...but it wasn't...and it's not because of lack of competition, or "luck" it's because each and every time I step into this ring, with this title? I prepare myself for the inevitable night that this could all be taken from me. I ready myself to be ready for ANYTHING...to be strong enough to keep fighting even when my body begins to fail me. April taught me that, she was in this position, and with matches that are designed to push you to your limits, your body does begin to get aches, the pains start to intensify, butt your will exceeds any agony you may be in, because you may have to soak in an ice bath tomorrow, but so long as The Women's Championship is sitting on that shelf beside you, it's all worth it.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 R7AhtOu

[Natalya]
April was not only one of my biggest obstacles to overcome, she is my biggest inspiration because I never could have imagined I'd find myself following not far in her footsteps, and even leaving some of my own in her place...but with everything we went through, with how far she pushed me each time we faced in this ring, I grew. I may have fallen short every match but our last...but I took something with me every match. I took another piece of what I wanted my future to be. To be half The Champion she was, to uphold the standard she set...to try and push beyond that and somehow be better. When April fell victim to Money In The Bank...I had planned to march out here prior to that, and challenge her, to hopefully get the match that would bring forth this reign. But unfortunately she had reached her limit, and seeing a great reign like hers, a historic record setting reign come to an untimely end because of someone attacking her when she was down...it angered me. What did Ruby Riott prove by defeating a weakened Champion? What did it ultimately accomplish? She held the title for 85 days, every single day of which she ducked any actual challenge, and had the nerve to deem me "unworthy."

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 O8NwVbW

[Natalya]
I don't admit it, but I had the biggest chip on my shoulder, I was livid that after everything April did...THAT is how it ended. So when I became Champion, when Ruby stopped ducking me, and had nowhere left to run...I made a promise to myself, and a promise to everything April built this title to stand for. I said that I wouldn't let it happen to me. I would do everything beyond my power to not let ALL of this, if I ever achieved success of this level...that I would expend every last piece of myself to survive what killed her reign. Because when you reach this stage, you have overcome so much, you have fought the best of the best, and when someone defeats you...it's supposed to mean something. They're supposed to prove themselves worthy not to me, but this title by defeating me. But not by doing it with help, or by picking up the scraps of someone else...no, they are face you WOMAN TO WOMAN...and best you.

Fans are fired up by what she's saying in full agreement, as they start a mild "NATTIE! NATTIE! NATTIE!" chant that she interrupts as she continues.

[Natalya]
But when Carmella STOLE April's contract over a month ago...oh, that just riled me up even more. How dare she waltz back into this division and think she's just going to moon walk her way into being Champion. So when she ran down that ramp last week, when Toni tried to stand up for me...I looked at the chip on my shoulder, and saw how high it had grown in the near year since April's reign came to an end. I looked at it as motivation...the time had come, to defend my place as Champion, and show this entire division, Carmella included...that if you want this? YOU WILL ONLY GET IT WHEN YOU BEAT ME AT MY BEST! You will not try to steal this from me because I have worked too damn hard to get here and the days of easy field of flower journeys to get here are a thing of the past. This isn't THE DIVAS DIVISION...this is THE WOMEN'S DIVISION...and that means the only way to this title, is through hard work and a whole lot of dedication.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 ZR2qh8Z

[Natalya]
So Carmella, I'm sorry for what I had to do to you last week...I know how it feels to fail when you're in possession of a "guarantee." But speaking from experience, failure only makes your hunger grow...failure can be the greatest source of motivation. So when you're ready to pick yourself up, and dust yourself off? Remember that, remember that you have all the tools to be successful in this business, you just have to quit cutting corners along the way. I was barely strong enough to lock The Sharpshooter in, but when I did? When you were on this mat writhing in agony as I tried to apply as much pressure as possible. You showed something that you've rarely shown, and that was a whole lot of heart. You refused to give up, you endured the pain, you FOUGHT for your dream. Even though I do not respect how you tried to become Champion...I respect The Woman I fought in that final minute. The Woman that no matter how hard I pushed, kept telling that referee no, that you will NEVER give up. You may have had to tap in the end, and your opportunity may have slipped through your fingers...but that was not the end of your journey, it is merely a new beginning with a newfound grit you perhaps didn't even know you had.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 Bah8LzZ

[Natalya]
Speaking of last week, a couple ghosts of my past seem to take interest in The Main-Event, a little too much of an interest because one of them couldn't keep their knuckle covered hand to themselves, and they decided to ruin a match where The North American Champion Toni Storm and I were leaving it all in that ring in a match that COULD have gone either way. But instead, you...Liv Morgan, along with my old pal Sasha Banks decided to shove your nose in my business, along with your fist into my nose...and as if costing me that match wasn't enough, you had to get a couple of licks in afterward, didn't you? Now I don't know if last week was just a passing fancy, maybe a walk down memory lane, Sasha? A memory that isn't so fond, huh? Whatever that was? Whatever the intent? I hope you were watching VERY closely what happened to Carmella...in fact Sasha, you know all about what happened to her because the same fate befell you at Final Stand. You know, I thought we were past this...I thought you Sasha were regretful of your poor choices, but perhaps Ronda also gave you a concussion to go with your broken arm because clearly you're not in the right frame of mind. I'm not interested in doing this whole story again with you, it was great, we won several Slammys, made history...but you...as far as I'm concerned? ARE history. So I hope you enjoyed watching, because that's as close as you're going to get to another match with me. In the words of Ariana Grande's latest smash hit...THANK YOU, NEXT!

Last weeks antics, coupled with the fact that Natalya was blamed by some for Sasha's absence the last several weeks before it when she tried to have a "come to Jesus" moment with Sasha at The Slammy Awards seems to have opened up old wounds. And Natalya has put all of that behind her, she doesn't want to think about Sasha again, because while she may have been her best friend at one time...The Woman calling herself "The Boss" is no longer that Woman.

[Natalya]
Now, with that out of the way...I have a simple question, and the answer is just as simple...WHO would like to face me at Breakthrough for The Women's Championship?

WHO COULD IT BE?

IS IT BECKY LYNCH?

MAYBE IT'S BETH PHOENIX?

RUBY RIOT PERHAPS?

NOPE! IT'S SASHA BANKS!

All the excitement in the arena is seemingly gone. Another match between Sasha Banks and Natalya would deliver, without a doubt, but this crowd was clearly hoping for someone new. Someone who Natalya hasn't faced yet. Not the person who she's beaten more times than she can count. The Legit Boss made her return at Roulette to cost Ronda Rousey her match, then interfering in the champion versus champion match in the main event last week, and here she is now. Arms spread out wide with a microphone in hand as she steps out onto the stage to a less than welcoming reaction and for once, she's not tailed by Liv Morgan either.

Sasha Banks stops and throws her hands up, showing off those Legit Boss knuckles which sparkle in the spotlight that shines down onto her from the lighting rig above the ring.

And the Boss then pushes her hands to the side, executing her signature pose before taking her glasses from her face. Sasha tosses her glasses off to the side and glances to the crowd.

[Corey Graves]
Here we go again. Sasha Banks wanting yet another shot at Natalya and her championship yet expecting a different outcome. Do you know what that is? That's called insanity. She's had plenty of chances to defeat Natalya and she's failed each and every single time. Sasha Banks should be banned from challenging for the championship as long as Natalya holds it. I don't care if they had the Match of the Year or even the Rivalry of the Year. We have a locker room full of women wanting a chance at the title and Sasha Banks is out here trying to get another.

This would about be the time where Sasha Banks would begin to walk down the ramp, but she doesn't. She stands by at the top of the ramp. Natalya, being the experienced wrestler that she is, makes sure to check her six to make sure Liv Morgan wasn't about to come from behind and clock her in the back of the head... but there wasn't any sight of her either. It was just Sasha and Natalya.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Normally, I wouldn't agree with you on some things... but now isn't one of those times. I agree with you for once. Sasha Banks doesn't deserve yet another chance at the XWL Woman's Championship.

Sasha clears her throat and lifts her microphone. She waves at Natalya as she speaks.

[SASHA BANKS]
Hey, sweetheart, how's it going? Long time no see. Last time I saw you, I was feeling pretty down. I was almost ready to quit. In fact, I think I did quit because I was so overwhelmed with all these losses... but I quickly realized that I couldn't just give up and I want to thank you for that. Thank you for always being so inspiring and always knowing what to say. I mean it when I say that. We've had our issues but I cannot stand here and say that you aren't an inspiration. I can't stand here and say that I don't respect you. I respect you. I respect the hell out of you and I respect what you bring to the table, baby girl. Remember Final Stand? You proved that you rightfully deserve to call yourself not only the champion, but the best there is, best there was, and the best there ever will be. And I'm not just trying to say what you might wanna hear so I can butter you up and get a championship match out of you. In fact, I've already spoken to our General Manager.

The Kansas City crowd boos as Sasha motions for them to settle down. They haven't even heard this idea of hers yet and Sasha knew the idea would be something that they didn't see coming.

[SASHA BANKS]
Settle down, guys. I spoke to JBL earlier today and I presented him this idea to make the biggest woman's championship match possible at Breakthrough. I wanted something that people wouldn't soon forget. I wanted something that these people could look forward to... and that something is not Sasha Banks versus Natalya.

The Boss takes a step to the side and turns her body slightly. It was almost simbalism in a way. It's almost like Sasha Banks was removing herself from the spotlight and making room for someone else to enter the picture. Sasha Banks extends the arm which doesn't hold the microphone and points to the curtain where the men and women of tthe roster would emerge when coming out. Sasha Banks speaks into the microphone with her voice made louder than normal and has this confident smirk on her face as she keeps her eyes on Natalya.

[SASHA BANKS]
I PRESENT TO YOU YOUR CHALLENGER IF YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT, FROM ELMWOOD PARK, NEW JERSEY...

The Kansas City crowd stood to their feet and stuck down their thumbs to welcome XWL's resident wild child, Liv Morgan. As if the crowd wasn't displaying enough disapproval at the mere presence of the Boss, the addition of the Delinquent and offering of her as Natalya's next opponent was enough to nearly blow the roof off of the arena after the despicable actions of the pink and purple-haired duo last week.

[Mauro Ranallo]
The reoccurring alliance of Sasha Banks and Liv Morgan emerges once again! Where you find one, the other's sure to be not far behind. Isn't that right, Corey?

[Corey Graves]
Spot on, Mauro, and what a clever suggestion from the Boss! She wasn't able to get the job done herself, so it seems fitting that she enlists superstar that she's taken under her wing, someone she can tell all of her secrets to, strategize about all of Natalya's weaknesses, and capitalize on them accordingly. You have to keep in mind Mauro, Sasha Banks may not have been the woman to dethrone Natalya, but she is without a doubt the most educated person in the world when it comes to Natalya's weak spots. Nobody knows Natalya in the ring better than Sasha Banks, and I'd wager that that factor alone is going to majorly swing this potential bout in the direction of Liv Morgan, should the Women's Champion choose to accept the challenge.

Liv pops out onto the stage, twirling swiftly as she plucks her suspenders from her shoulders and sticks her famously blue tongue out for the cameras. The Juvenile Delinquent from Jersey slides her hand across the Boss's shoulder, resting it there as she swings around to her side, sliding up her other hand, which is equipped with a microphone of her own, to wave at Natalya. After giving the crowd a moment to relax, Liv tosses a chunk of her bubblegum-colored hair back over her shoulder before raising the microphone to her mouth.

[LIV Morgan]
HEY NATTIE! How's that jaw treatin' ya, huh?

Liv cocks her head back to let out a maniacal laugh at the Champion's expense, placing her free hand over her chest dramatically.

[LIV Morgan]
Awww, it looks like it's healing nicely! Then again, after this year we all know just how PAINFULLY resilient you can be. Kinda like a cockroach, don'tcha think Sash?.. Now Nattie, I might not remember all that much from our little Elimination Chamber match earlier this year, but I'm sure that by now you've noticed that I'm hardly the same girl that you stepped inside of that chamber with.. I've overcome more adversities in 2018 than anyone else on this roster, and STILL I get sidestepped and snubbed around every corner. I'M a bigger success story than Toni Storm, I'M more inspirational than Kairi Sane, and I already proved at Roulette that I'm even more unstoppable than Ronda, friggin', Rousey! Yet SOMEhow, I'm expected to sit back and play nice in catering while all of those busted birdbrains are handed qualifying match after qualifying match. So if I've gotta act out, if I've gotta cause a little trouble to get somethin' going around here, then that's EXACTLY what I'm about to do.

[LIV Morgan]
Y'see Nattie, after my injury there was only ONE PERSON who has had by back and recognized my true potential. ONE PERSON who didn't just see me as some "fragile," or "unstable" little girl from Jersey. And do y'know who that one person was, Natalya? Because it definitely wasn't you or your high horse! The slowly cracking face of our division herself, the veteran hag of the locker room, Natalya NOhart, didn't give two craps about little ol' Liv Morgan, but SOMEBODY did.. And that somebody, was Sasha Banks!

Liv smiles openly and leans over, giving the Boss a quick squeeze of a hug before continuing about her speech.

[LIV Morgan]
Sasha's taught me more over the last few months than you've taught me over your entire sob story career. She taught me how to be a team, she showed me what it means to love someone so much that you'd put your body on the line for them without even thinking twice. She taught me how to win by any means necessary, and all of the steps I have to take in order to get me exactly what I deserve. But I saved the most important thing for last, Nat! Lastly, the most important thing Sasha ever taught me, was ALL of your weaknesses.. So unlike your other opponents, I'm not starting off at the bottom. I'm picking up right where SHE left off, and just like nobody thought I could finish Ronda at Roulette? I'm going to finish your title reign at Breakthrough.

Natalya digests Liv's BOLD statement and nods here head for a couple of seconds before responding.

[Natalya]
Gee, you know...hearing how great of a friend Sasha is to you is kind of making me a little envious. I mean, where was all of this when we were friends? Doing all of that out of the kindness of her heart? No hidden agenda? No deep dark secret she's trying to keep hidden from you? By your side from the VERY beginning...it's like you and I were friends with two entirely different people. But, then again..maybe my memories just a little hazy? Maybe I don't remember all the good because of all the bad? You ever feel like that, Liv? Like one day you're going to wake up and everything will be different? I'm sorry look at me I'm rambling on about nonsense, right Sasha?

[SASHA BANKS]
No. You’re right. Liv is going to wake up one day and everything is going to be different... because life changes when you’re the champion.

[Natalya]
Yeah, that's totally what I meant...anyways, I must say this is a pleasant surprise. When the two of you intruded upon last week's Main-Event...i much like these fans jumped to one conclusion, Sasha was trying to position herself for another title match with me...which, not that it wouldn't be exciting...but it's kind of hard to top The Final Stand Main-Event. But Liv? Now that's shaking things up, I mean like you said...you know me better than anyone else in this ring, who better to groom The Woman that can bring about the demise of my reign than someone who can draw upon personal experiences to ensure she doesn't go down the same road you did? That to me feels like a real challenge, someone I've not had a whole lot of experience with, someone that's grown tremendously since our last encounter...but in that time they've been prepared for this very day right here right now to profess that they know how to do what many Women before you, including your "coach" have failed to do.

The Queen of Harts looks to her Women's Championship before raising it into the air for all to see, especially Liv Morgan.

[Natalya]
A lot can change over time, there's no better proof of that than by looking at this title. It is mine because times DID change, and I proved there IS another way to the top of the mountain. So perhaps the same can be said of you? You're not the same Woman I defeated in my first defense 7 months ago. Which is kind of exciting in itself isn't it? You and I began The Elimination Chamber, and outlasted the likes of Bayley, Asuka, Nia Jax...and even, your dear pal beside you. If you could be good enough to do that then, what are you capable of now? So seeing as Sasha seems to have made all the arrangements, and all that's needed is for me to formally accept your challenge..I have but one thing to ask, because after all...I'm a bit of a traditionalist.

Liv Morgan arches a single brow suspiciously, her face not showing any amusement for a change. Instead, we get an incredibly focused, serious, and vaguely pondering mug sported by the Delinquent.

[Natalya]
Before I get to that, I want you to hear me loud, and clear. This match is between us, Sasha is more than welcome to be ringside to support you like all best friends do...but she better mind her manners because as you both saw last week...when someone tries to take the "easy" route against me? It has a way of igniting a fiery determination within me, do not try and screw me out of what I have had to scratch and claw my way to not only attain, but continually retain. That is, unless you aspire to end up like Carmella. Got it? Good. Now call me old fashioned, but in order to commemorate things and make this Championship Match between us official, I'd like for you to join me in this ring...and shake my hand agreeing that our match will be by the books, and under no circumstance will you deviate from the rules. After all, if you're so well versed about me, you should have no problem beating me fair and square, right?

Natalya walks over to the ropes closest to the ramp, then places her foot on the bottom rope, and lifts up the middle rope as she directs Liv with an invitation to join her in the ring to make this official with a show of respect. Liv glances over to her best pal Sasha in disbelief, thinking Natalya's got to be yanking their chains. No way would be be bold, or foolish enough to invite the woman who cost her a match that was set to be an instant-classic just a short week ago!

[Natalya]
Come on now, I don't bite, unless I'm provoked...but I'm sure Sasha's told you all about that too, right?

Her mic lowers and her hand holding it extends out beckoning Liv to come into the ring. Liv narrows her eyes towards the Women's Champion, dragging her blue tongue across her lower lip as she processes the audacity of Natalya. After a moment of this, she sucks her teeth and nods to her pal Sasha before beginning her walk down the ramp. Instead of taking the stairs, Liv opts to swiftly roll into the ring, propping herself up her knees as she stares up at Natalya. You can never be sure about the inner workings of Liv Morgan's mind, or when she might surprise you next, but one thing was for certain, Natalya wasn't backing down from those crazy doll eyes.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Something about the eyes of Liv Morgan is just-... Deeply unsettling.

[Corey Graves]
I'll have you know that I find Liv Morgan's eyes delightfully charming, Mauro.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Naturally, Corey.

Realizing this, Liv snickers to herself before instantaneously hopping up to her feet and snickering to herself while she shoots her right hand out to meet Natalya's. On the Delinquent's lips lies a wide grin that we have become all too acquainted with in recent weeks. Natalya seems to hold the firm grip in place, staring into Liv's eyes for an extended period of time before the shake commences. As the camera pans around the two, we catch a shot of Liv's back. Per usual Liv Morgan fashion, her spare hand was resting behind her in a perfect and typical display of pseudo-innocence. Upon closer inspection, however, there was a little bit more going on behind that back of Liv Morgan this time. Not brass knuckles or another pair of the Boss's rings, which have become a staple piece for the Delinquent as of late. No, this time her hand was bare, but it was what her hand was doing that was the focus of concern. As the camera zooms closer, it reveals that Liv Morgan is blatantly crossing her fingers right behind her own back! I suppose we should have expected such from XWL's resident wild child, but Natalya seems totally unaware of Liv's slick mannerisms.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Do you see that, Corey! Liv Morgan's fingers are crossed behind her back!

[Corey Graves]
Of course I see it! What else do you expect? This is the Juvenile Delinquent we're talking about after all.

[Mauro Ranallo]
One would think that after the unbelievable events we witnessed last week that Liv Morgan would learn not to try and play the Women's Champion for a fool. After all, the girl's from Jersey! Breaking the rules is practically part of their culture.

[Corey Graves]
On the contrary, I'd argue that anyone who is trusting Liv Morgan to play by the rules of ANYthing has proved themselves a fool already!

With the shake still ongoing, sealing the deal and fating Liv Morgan and Natalya to a bout for the Championship at Breakthrough, Liv breaks her crossed fingers and grips her mic, pulling it back around to say something more to her newly confirmed opponent.

[LIV Morgan]
But Nattie, I think you're forgetting one teeeensy weensy little detail.. It isn't Breakthrough yet..!

The Women's Champion didn't even have an opportunity to respond before Morgan drops her mic and snakes her hand behind Natalya's head. Liv jumps up off the mat and curls her knees up, bringing Natalya right down into the Jersey Codebreaker! The Champion's face crashes down onto the knees of Liv Morgan with forceful pressure, causing her body to snap back and lay flat out onto the mat once the move was completed. Fans are livid, immediately booing her cheap shot. Liv instantly rolls up to her knees and laughs, her blue tongue hanging out as she crawls over Natalya just enough to weasel the title right off of her shoulder.

[LIV Morgan]
Don't mind if I do!..

Liv then proceeds to rise to her feet slowly over top of Natalya, raising the XWL Women's Championship high into the air with her free hand as the audience just roars with boos over her disrespect to their beloved Champion. Her chest rises and falls heavily at the excitement and pure rush that comes with holding this title for the very first time in her young career, even if it is not under the most honorable of circumstances. The fans continue to express their anger over Liv's actions, but all she continues to do is smile as if the title already has her name on it.

[Corey Graves]
Is this a sign of what's to come at Breakthrough?

[Mauro Ranallo]
I think that's a bit of a disservice to The Women's Champion who for 8 months has proven that it's not wise to bet against her.

[Corey Graves]
Maybe so, but this is a pretty powerful sight...and you know what they say...seeing is believing.

When the show returns from its commercial break, a video package begins to play, showing the events of last week, when Seth Rollins took to the ring to call out his mystery attacker. Just like the time at roulette, the lights went out, and Seth was attacked from behind with a weapon. The attack didn’t end there, as the mystery man took it upon himself to end Rollins’ career, wrapping a chair around his neck, and preparing to leap off the top turnbuckle, to break his neck.. But before he can jump down, he’s shoved to the canvas by a member of the audience who jumped the barricade.  The young man chases off Rollins attacker and helps him to his feet, before being forcibly dragged out of the arena in handcuffs by Drake Maverick and his security team as a confused Seth looks on.

The video package ends

Mauro Ranello
Welcome back folks. As you’ve just seen, last week, Seth Rollins was assaulted for the second time in a week, and…

Corey Graves
Cut the crap Mauro. This isn’t about Seth or what happened to him last week. This is about the vandal who issued an unprovoked attack on one of our company’s talents, inside the XWL ring as well. He deserves everything he gets.

Mauro Ranello
Well from what you’ve heard, the young man has been invited here tonight by JBL himself.

Corey Graves
He shouldn’t be rotting in a jail cell, not backstage with all of the other talent, how are we supposed to keep them safe?

Mauro Ranello
Hold that thought Corey, apparently while running that video package, we just missed something backstage, and I think you’re going to want to see this. Take a look what happened just moments ago.

The camera swaps to backstage, we see the young man from last week, accompanied by two  smartly dressed men.

Smartly Dressed Man #1
We’ve gone over this a million times already, but let me just say it one more time and this time really try to listen. In any normal circumstance, you wouldn’t even be here right now, you understand that don’t you? You’d be locked up in a dark little cell waiting to be charged with assault. Frankly, I honestly don’t have a clue why you’re not. The evidence against you is astounding, there’s just no defence for assault when it’s broadcast on National TV. Now, I’m not entirely sure why Mr, Layfeild has invited us here tonight, but you need to be on your best behaviour, one misstep, one wrong word, and you could be on your way back to that same cell. If he wants you to pay a fine, you pay it, if he wants you to crawl on all fours and bark like a dog, you’ll do it. Do you understand?

The young man rolls his eyes, much to the annoyance of the smart men.

Smartly Dressed Man #2
Listen here boy, your family sacrificed a lot to hire us to represent you…

The young man snickers, which once again annoys the two men with him.

Young Man
Listen guys, as much as appreciate the pep talk, which by the way, you’re both incredibly horrible at the whole motivation thing, but I have no intention of barking like a dog. I still believe that what I did last week was the right thing, and although my family may not be willing to see that yet, I’m sure all those people out there do.  I saved a man who I’ve always looked up to from the beating of his life, so I don’t care what the consequences are, because if I could do it all over again, I would.

The second man shakes his head in disapproval, but the first can no longer control his temper.

Smartly Dressed Man #1
You snot nosed little punk!

Before he can interrupt, a woman walks up to the trio, a microphone in hand.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 Pi5UxNA

Lady with Mic
I’m sorry gentlemen, I didn’t mean to interrupt your conversation, but I’ve just come from the office of John Bradshaw Layfield, Unfortunately, he’s currently occupied with important business, so he sent me to…

The lady can’t even finish her sentence before one of the men barges across her.

Smartly Dressed Man #2
Will you just get on with it already?

The young man turns to face the two smartly dressed men.

Young Man
Hey, hey, come on now guys, is that any way to speak to an official? I should have your tongues! Whether you like it or not, you work for me, and all it’ll take is one phone call and you’ll both be out on your asses. So how about you both just go find something to entertain yourselves and leave the real talk to the mature people in this room?

The two men scowl at the younger one, and reluctantly, make their way out of the room, making sure to slam the door on their way out.

Topics tagged under 1 on Xtreme Wrestling League - Page 3 BTrvghI

Young Man
I promise you, I’m not really like that. You know, the whole I should have your tongues thing? Honestly, I’m not even sure where it came from, maybe an episode of downtown abbey… or maybe it was game of thrones? I mean there must have been in a scene in there somewhere with those words right?

The young man waits, but it seems like the woman has no idea how to respond.

Young Man
I’m sorry, was I rambling? I tend to do that a lot. Anyway, you were about to say something, what does good old JBL have in store for me?

The lady looks almost excited as she prepares to deliver the news.

Lady with Mic
Well, Mr… Sorry, I didn’t catch your name.

Young Man
Oh right, yes that was kind of rude wasn’t it? I apologise. The name’s Tyler

Lady with Mic
Well Tyler, I wasn’t sure how I felt about this, but after meeting you, I’m actually ecstatic to be the one to get to tell you this… By the order of the board of directors, and the general manager John Bradshaw Layfield, I’m pleased to announce, that you have been offered a talent contract with XWL!

Tyler can barely believe his ears, his whole life he’s dreamed of this moment, could it actually be happening? He can barely hold his excitement.

Lady with Mic
Hold on, I’m not finished yet… You will be offered this contact, and Mr. Layfield himself will officiate the signing, under one condition..

Young Man (Also known as Tyler)
Lay it on me, I’ll do anything to get that contract!

Lady with Mic
You’ll be competing tonight in a match against an opponent hand picked by Mr. L:ayfield himself. And the winner of that match, will receive the contract.

First he’s offered a contract with XWL, and now he gets to compete and show off his talents in the ring. If Tyler was excited before, he’s ecstatic now. With a big smile on his face, he grabs the lady’s face and plants a kiss on her forehead, before joyfully skipping out of the room, leaving her lost for words as we return to ringside.

---------------------------

Corey Graves
You have got to be kidding me! How on earth did he manage to wriggle his way into this one? A contract? Why are we giving this man a contract?

Mauro Ranello
Calm down Corey, you’ll burst a blood vessel. Besides, he hast to earn the opportunity tonight, and I honestly hope he’s victorious, because this show could use someone like this young man.

Corey Graves
There’s no way JBL would issue this contract without having some kind of plan in mind to pay this thug back for his actions last week, I just refuse to believe it.

Mauro Ranello
Well we’ll find out later tonight, but for Tyler’s sake, I hope you’re wrong.

The scene comes to an end as we move along to the next match/promo of the show.

The match has reached it’s end, the bell has rung and you can see Shayna clutching at her gut rising up to her feet. She looks down at a broken but not battered Ember Moon, Ember flipping her hair out of her eyes simultaneously with Shayna.

They give each other a glance and Moon retreats to the other side of the ring, and falls to the outside as the crowd embraces her. Shayna smiles because she once again put down the woman who has yet to come close to beating her. Shayna fixes her chin and the Ace Of Spades has bested the competition once again.

Baszler looks around and asks for a mic before changing her mind and walks to the center of the ring. She rolls her shoulders and then stands tall. Her arms are both put out and then raised into an ACE symbol. Breathing heavy, but still barely breaking a sweat, Shayna points to herself and then goes to the turnbuckle to celebrate her victory in the first round of the tournament.

[Corey Graves]
No words were needed to be said, simply actions and those actions might very well lead her to becoming the number one contender as she faces off against the winner of Nia Jax and Kairi Sane later tonight.

[Mauro Ranallo]
The set back is only a space back, because Shayna is one step closer to achieving her ultimate goal she set out upon as she arrived here in XWL. Roulette was risk, now this is no 50/50 shot. This can be the momentum needed to facing off against Toni Storm. However her tall task is still ahead of her, in these series of challenges. Nia or Kairi are waiting on the other side of the tracks.

The camera fades out to a backstage area where we catch sight of a monitor tuned in on the action. Watching very closely stands Nia Jax, arms crossed as Shayna is seen striking her pose on the turnbuckle and having her sights set on whoever steps up to her next. That being Nia, of course. Another person steps into focus, mic in hand.

[Charley Caruso]
Nia, if I could just get your thoughts on what happened out there and your thoughts onto going into next week against Shayna Baszler?

Nia almost cracks a full grin as she looks at little Charley, towering over her.

[Nia Jax]
My thoughts, on Shayna Baszler are this: She should of stayed away from professional wrestling. You see the critics, the smarks, the suits, they are all really high on Baszler because of her MMA background. But exactly how much does that help in professional wrestling? I mean, perhaps versus someone who isn't a monster, pretty well. But against me? I tower, over Shayna Baszler.

[Nia Jax]
It's a new era for Nia Jax. People seem to have forgotten about the chaos and damage I caused when I first showed up because the past few months there has been a bit more activity for the women than usual. Because a few women finally hit their prime. Problem is I've been in my prime for months now. I haven't stopped. I won't, stop. Sometimes, lightning strikes and people get a fluke win over me. Ask Kairi though, because lightning doesn't strike twice.

[Nia Jax]
Next week I'm walking into Anarchy, walking out to that ring and breaking Shayna in half. No ifs, ands or buts about it. People might think my mind is focused on Alexa Bliss, because it is, because I worry about the trash that is chasing her around the locker room, from city to city. But even halfway focused I crush the opposition. Halfway focused I dropped my leg on Sane, multiple times. Halfway focused I walked through this locker room, woman after woman. Next week though, I'm fully focused on knocking the Queen of Spades off her high horse and making my way right to the North American Championship.

Nia storms out of the view of the camera, leaving Caruso staring after her before the camera cuts to a commercial break.

With Kairi Sane now in prime position to put an end to this match and advance to the finals of the North American Championship Tournament to crown a Number One Contender for Toni Storm's newly won Championship, The Pirate Princess motions for the InSane Elbow, a move that has put away many a foe, including the woman ringside in Alexa Bliss. Just when it seemed Kairi was about to cross the t's and dot the i's, Bliss is heard shouting into the ring, “She's here, Nia!” causing Sane to look towards Bliss, who is looking towards the ramp, before she does the same, spotting Ruby Riott already halfway down the ramp, a sick and calculated smile etched on her face. Nia begins to stir on the canvas as both Alexa and Kairi are looking at the slowly approaching Ruby, wielding a “blissified” bucket in her hand, swinging it back and forth with every step.

Ruby reaches the bottom of the ramp, and makes a sharp turn, going towards the side Bliss is on, causing the woman known as Five Feet of Fury to begin backstepping away from the impending threat. Kairi, still on the top rope, has seemingly had enough of this, lowering herself back down to the top turnbuckle and begins to make her way down back to the canvas, but before she could, Nia Jax, taking full advantage of this situation, takes a hold of Sane, throwing her onto her own shoulders, causing the Japanese native to begin unloading a quick flurry of elbows to escape the grasp of the stronger woman to no avail.

Nia puts an end to that with a swift yet deadly Samoan Drop, leaving The Pirate Princess laid out in the center of the ring. Outside the ring, Bliss has turned the corner, Ruby still giving chase almost at a mockingly slow pace, as if she's savoring every second of this. Alexa is heard shouting, “Nia, she's getting closer!” causing the woman in the ring to shout back, “I'm almost done here.” “Hurry” is all that escapes Bliss' lips as Nia begins to measure up a downed Kairi Sane before dropping a swift leg drop, nearly turning The Pirate Princess into The Pirate Pancake. Nia doesn't stop there, pulling herself back up off the canvas and dropping a second, more calculated Leg Drop. If Kairi wasn't down before, she is now.

The larger Jax transitions herself into a pinfall attempt but before she hooks the leg, she stops herself, carefully contemplating her next move. An internal nod later, she pulls herself up to her feet once more, motioning to the seemingly out of it Kairi Sane for one more Leg Drop. Nia throws herself towards the nearest set of ring ropes, ricocheting off of them like a torpedo with her target being the pirate ship of Kairi Sane. When she gets within range, she leaps into the air, her leg nearly crushing Sane's throat in the process with the power behind it. Seemingly content with this decision, Nia quickly goes into the cover, ready to advance to the finals of the Tournament.

Nia's theme begins to play throughout the arena, her arm being raised by the referee in victory. It may be shortlived however as Bliss, still managing to somehow avoid Ruby Riott's grasp for the duration of the closing moments of this match, has accidentally backpedaled into the steel ring steps, causing her to fall over backwards, stopping her escape momentarily. As Ruby inches closer and closer to her prey, Bliss has to choice but to attempt an escape by crawling away on her hands and knees causing Ruby to begin moving just ever so slightly quicker than before and closing the gap much faster than Alexa anticipated. Just when it seemed like Ruby would be rewarded for her patience, Nia quickly slides out of the ring, standing between Riott and her target, being denied what she wanted for the second time in the evening.

Ruby mouths, “This isn't over, Lexi” before taking a few steps back and hopping over the barricade before ultimately disappearing into the crowd, crisis being averted for the second time in a single night. With the weight being seemingly lifted from her shoulders, Alexa is helped up to her feet by Nia, who motions for them to make their way to the back to celebrate Nia's impressive victory over Kairi Sane, avenging her defeat to The Pirate Princess some weeks ago, much like her best friend managed to do at Roulette. TheY make it around the ring, standing on the side closest to the ramp before Nia begins her ascent while Bliss stays at the ringside area, looking into the ring at the still downed Kairi Sane.

Alexa's in a conflicted position, sure she's had her issues with The Pirate Princess...but Ruby's actions have put things into perspective where Alexa maybe didn't see it before...and the fact is, when Alexa was targeted for a repeat of Roulette by the truly vile Ruby Riott...she was saved, by the unlikeliest of people, Kairi Sane. She stopped Ruby from her disorderly conduct and as Alexa sees Kairi struggling to even get up, profusely coughing on the mat, she's met with this strange feeling, as if the holiday season has inspired this Grinch like transformation...and her cold little heart began to grow three times it's size, feeling...remorse? Is that it? She looks to Nia then back to Kairi...and starts to backtrack. Something in her won't let her leave, not after Kairi put aside their issues to help someone in need, and isn't that what Kairi needs right now?

As she slowly approaches the ring, Nia calls back to her. "Lexi, the locker room's this way!" Motioning for Alexa to hurry along so they can leave together. Alexa stood at the edge of the ring, her hands pressed against the side of the ring apron, looking at Kairi...but again Nia persists "I know I did a great job but you don't need to admire my work, let's go!" Alexa turns back to Nia, and reluctantly begins to backtrack her backtracking, repeatedly looking back over her shoulder at Kairi, part of her wants to tell Nia to go on without her that she wants to show Kairi half of the compassion she had for her earlier. But this is all so...different for her. She doesn't know which way is up and which way is down. She's really confused, emotionally shattered, and her instincts just tell her to leave, to follow Nia.

Just when she's about to stop herself again, Nia had ventured back to Alexa placing her arm around her and begins to lead her up the ramp. Alexa's head turns once more over her shoulder as she's led away, seemingly concerned about Kairi Sane. But due to Nia being her best friend, she feels obligated to go with her, because with Ruby Riott's antics...that's what she really needs right now, a friend to help her get through this trying time. The two of them head through the curtain as the scene comes to a close.

Matt stands to his feet almost, but does not celebrate his victory. A look of somber crosses the face of Broken Matt standing there looking down upon the ground.

[Mauro Ranallo]
The past month Broken Matt has been saying he doesn't deserve to fight his brother for the XWL World Television title, but here he stands victorious.

[Corey Graves]
Not only is he the winner, but he is now number one contender for said title. Look at Matt.. he is not happy that he has won.

The ref walks over to Broken Matt, and grabs his wrist then raises it high into the air indicating that Broken Matt Hardy is the winner of this match up. Matt's eyes slowly rise up to his waist, and slightly shakes his head in disapproval of his victory.

[Mauro Ranallo]
Wow.. you are right Corey. You can tell that he did not want this victory, but it is written in history, but remember this is exactly the match Jeff has been wanting. How is this going to reflect on the brother's relationship?

[Corey Graves]
It makes you think if Matt is really going to go through with this match For how heavy his heart is with regret for all of his actions in the past towards his brother.

Broken Matt makes his exit out of the ring, and walks up the ramp with sadness in his eyes. What does this mean for the title match? Stay tuned Next week to find out more!
